- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Today, my returning guest and my first guest of the year is writer Sarah Wood.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, we have to discuss the events that have taken place in the last several days.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not good, but we're gonna do our best to navigate and we're gonna do our best to not get bogged down in the negativity before we get started.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: The Start Me Up podcast is independent, listen or fund it, and woman run.

- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: There's also an ad free tier with a much shorter intro.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: Just visit patreon.com slash start me up.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, please enjoy my conversation with Sarah Wood.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, thank you for having me.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Happy New Year, if we can even say that, right?
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a new year.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a new year.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's a new year.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what we could say.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously some really fucking horrible things have happened in this new year, but we're not going to start off with that.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to, you know, kind of ease into all of the horribleness, and there is so much of it.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to say, though, before we even start anything, you know, I said something in the intro, and I think it's just really important, that when we're talking about all of this fascist cruelty and violence and death and all of it, I think we have to,
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: At least for me.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: I will speak for myself.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: I will be making the biggest effort this year to not allow all of this negativity to just completely steal my joy steal my hope steal my fight and it's really you know and then for those of you listening
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: who feel defeated, you know, it's totally understandable.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: Take whatever time you need, love yourself, do good things for yourself, keep yourself healthy as possible, and you know, and then when you're feeling better, get back into it.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I think it's just really important that we try to maintain, I don't want to say a positive outlook, but at least a hopeful one, and one where there is
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: a better way of life.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I think that's really important.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm gonna make it, like, that's gonna be my effort to do that, at least this year.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: So, did I lose you?
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm here.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm totally honest with you.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was totally with you.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's so hard to think about, like, good things and making the world a better place when you're just kind of watching a burn around you.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: But if we give up,
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: Then the people that normally give up are definitely going to give up.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: And we keep going.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: We just get going.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so I will, I'm going to put a pin in this and come back to it.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I just wanted to ask you, how is your holiday?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: my holiday was interesting.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: So my birthday is right before Christmas.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Happy birthday.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: I had an interesting holidays because my, um, I got my gallbladder out for my birthday.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just tell your past that's right.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: So that was an interesting.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I basically spent the holidays for covering and just laying around and watching movies.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: and eating a lot of food.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Which isn't that bad.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, our ours was, for me, I think the highlight was my decorating.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I love the day.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: I decorated, I think it was on November 23rd because I wanted to get in it, you know, I wanted early.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I could have these decorations for as long.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it's funny because there's this girl that I watch.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: I call her a girl.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: She's probably around 33, so she's a girl to me.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm 57, but she lives in my area, and she has this channel on YouTube, and it's basically just like a lifestyle channel, and she's soothing, you know, and she like, she like does home decor, and just day in the life kind of a thing.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So she was going, she was decorating her tree this year with big red velvet balls,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: I waited too long and the balls that I could find were just, they were so big and they were individually so expensive, like 10 to 15 dollars per, and I'm like fuck that shit.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I wound up decorating my tree, mostly red.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, with mostly red stuff, it was like the prettiest trip ever decorated ever, so I loved it.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then the rest of it was just regular family, you know, nothing, nothing over the top, just kind of relaxing.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, that's what we did for the holidays and now they're over, and know it's back to reality.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now I call it the cold times where it's like, before Christmas and New Year's you're like, you enjoy the holiday spirit, but then it's January.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: And then I live in New England, so it feels like January until May.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just cold.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's the cold times.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's the cold times.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so now I'm going to go back to what we were talking about.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Take a little break to have some fun, that was a little bit of fun, kind of whatever, but now we're going to get into it because it was just we have to face this we have to deal with it and I want to kind of add on to what I was saying in that if we're going to.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: succeed.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have a fighting spirit.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, as I have been navigating this in the last year, last year was so difficult for me, and it took me a really long time to kind of get my bearings, and I feel like I'm back to my bearings, but I still do not feel, I don't know, I don't even, you know, something happened last year when that election, or I should say in 2024.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: something changed.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, it just changed a lot of things personally, just on how I view what I do and everything, but regardless, when I try to promote not getting bogged down by the fear, I get a lot of people yelling at me and they're like, don't tell me how to feel and, you know, I don't know lots of doom.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I like to just bring a, first of all, I'm never going to tell anyone how to feel.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: You have to feel the way you're going to feel.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I like to encourage people to, you know, use their feelings and use their grief, use their fear, all of it, use their anger and to push, because I always go back to Harriet Tubman.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, she didn't sit around complaining when things were bad.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a black woman who I found out had like migraine headaches her whole life and suffered physical issues, you know, where things weren't easy for her.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yet she became part of the underground railroad and...
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: helped slaves, you know, get out of slavery, so I just feel like we need to look at somebody like her and anytime you start feeling too sorry for yourself or too afraid, say what would Harriet Tubman do?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, there's a whole what would Jesus do, but it's like, did she sit around and say, oh my God, it's all over, oh my God, that they won, oligarchs won, and then keep coming up with all these arguments as to why we're all gonna lose.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just can't see that either.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm with you.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we can't have this like negative.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, things are shitty.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's no doubt about it, but it's about what we do or just going to lay down and take it, or are we going to get up and fight?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm definitely we have to fight.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: I have to fight.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I just start doing things.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: And if I'm doing things where I feel like I'm even if it's messaging and getting things out there telling the truth, we're doing something.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're not just being like, everything is awful.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like,
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and I mean, I don't want to be this person.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm always going to be pushing this, and I ran down some of the topics that we were going to go over prior to recording, but I'm just going to throw something in here, and I'm going to be as brief as I can about it.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: But most of you know, most of my listeners know, and I'm not going to get, so don't worry, I'm not going to get to, we will, we're spiritual or anything.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: But in the past six years, I've, you know, outside of my political interests, I've had interests
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: who are consciousnesses, the quantum field, manifesting our realities, all these kinds of things.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say that the most important thing that I've learned, that I can speak to atheists, I can speak to Catholics, I can speak to Jewish people, whoever.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: This has nothing to do with what you believe as far as your dogma, religious ideology, any of it.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think that one of the things that, you know, for sure, one of the things that I've benefited, it's like giving me coping skills.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: Coping skills that I didn't get when I went to therapy and I'm not pooping therapy because I think therapy is great and I loved going to therapy.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: But when I went to therapy, my therapist basically just listened to me and I think that was probably fine in the time that it was happening because I wasn't depressed.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: I was just going through stress and I needed to vent.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: So she just let me bet, but I have learned through all this stuff I've been going over in the past six years, you know, one of the best ways that I cope with all of this is recognizing that all the feelings that I'm feeling because like we get scared, right?
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: For myriad reasons, I'm scared because I'm in front of a microphone speaking out against fascism in a fascist country because we're a fascist country now and that's frightening to me and you know it's frightening because Bob does it and he has a much bigger audience than I do so I worry more for him.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I also recognize that the fear that I'm going to, and of course there's practical things to look at, and you want to make good practical choices, but you first want to come from a place of kind of calm, you don't want to make your decisions out of fear.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I just keep reminding myself that everything that I'm experiencing and feeling is temporary and it's not really who I am, it's just something I'm feeling.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: And while that may seem tried or dull,
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of times we take on our fears.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: We identify as our fears.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And when we include that in our identity, it's like, that's where we make choices from.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're identifying as someone who is just depressed and angry and sad, and of course you feel all those things, I'm not saying no one should feel, I mean, that's what we feel.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: But we I think it's important to not make our decisions from those states to just kind of let them flow through us and I'm going to say this one thing and then I won't say anything you know more about it, but there's this idea I heard this said this on my patrons only show to but I heard this guy talking and he this was so cool because he said you know when something good is happening.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: you don't resist it, you just kind of allow it to happen and especially when it's really exciting, you know, you're at first, you're all up and into it and woohoo, and then, you know, over time, it just starts to dissipate and you don't feel so excited anymore because it's naturally runs course, but oftentimes when there's something stressful or upsetting to us,
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: We don't let it run its course, we kind of, we grip it with our fear, with our anger, whatever it is.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: We hold on to it and we keep running over it in our heads and it doesn't dissipate.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: It just keeps building.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's one of the things like yesterday, it was so difficult.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to talk about this in a second, but yesterday after ice murdered that woman and then all the video is coming out and oh my god, I've seen pictures that I don't want to see and I've seen, we've all seen so much ugliness.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just, you know, I basically allowed myself to feel what I needed to feel and I still feel it.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like it's dissipated and it's gone.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: That my grief for her or what's happened is gone.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just letting it be.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm recognizing that I don't like it, but I'm just allowing it to run through and whatever I feel.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I cry, sometimes I get angry, but I just allow it all, and I'm not resisting it.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I, you know, for what it's worth, anybody out there, it helps me.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: It helps me because of that, you know, over time, it's not building and festering in me to the degree where I'm causing myself to be so stressed out that I can't deal with it.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know, like, how do you deal with this kind of stuff?
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm a lot like you, honestly, where I kind of deal with it.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: I drive a lot of people crazy that way because I do deal with my emotions when I'm feeling them.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: I always say like, feel your feelings.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Because I was kind of raised the way to kind of like box everything in.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Don't let people know what you're feeling.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to be demure, you know, we have to be polite, very white Christian Protestant, you know.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: I know I grew up and then he became liberal and got angry and so it's okay but it's okay because it's like I just think about like even locally like there was a mayor's race last year in the Democrat one which is great but I don't like the guy I think he's a jerk I don't like how he got into power and he knows that he knows I don't like him and so what I did was just kind of like hold his feet to the fire and help
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: you know, like, basically be like, listen, we're here and you're not just going to walk into this role and not, and ignore us.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's like, what I'm trying to get at is like, when I feel those feelings, I'm not only feeling them, but I'm dying to like manifest and use that to the betterment of others around me.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I'm going to keep bringing up into, uh, was indivisible because they have all kinds of, uh,
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: ways to participate in your community that has nothing to do with elections or voting or whatever, but ways to help your community, which is a way to fight and combat fascism.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I think it's so important that we use everything that we're feeling, not deny it.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: We can't, you know, when you try to deny it, that's resisting it.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: When you try to pretend you don't feel the way you feel or you just try to push it away or whatever, it just doesn't go away.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it seems like it's almost multiplies and it gets worse.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, allow yourself to feel what you're going to feel.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: Feel all the fields and use those feelings because we need everybody in this.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: We need everybody to step up.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: The fascists are going to do
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to go extreme.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to get more extreme this year because they know 26 is coming.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: But let's talk about Renee Nicole Good and this...
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: There are so many awful things about this.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you've seen it all over the internet and you saw how, you know, like there's pictures of where the tires were turned away from the ice guy, all the claims that they made about her were untrue.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't know what I've heard stories and maybe you know more than I do on this, but I heard she was just driving through.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know why she was there in the first place?
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, but I did watch the video is where she was waving the officers around her.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, go, go ahead, go.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then they stopped.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: So she was like, I'm just picturing her as myself.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like what I would have done in that situation, which was exactly what she did.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: She's like waving the officers around.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then when they stopped and didn't do anything, she was like, okay, then I'll go.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so she went.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then apparently that man with no training
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: a fear of whatever.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just it was like, yeah, I'm going to shoot her because, you know, she, she was nowhere near him.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, she was driving past him.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he didn't like her getting away for whatever reason.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: And he shot her and he killed her in the American face.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's a fucking murderer.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's a, he's a,
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Fucking murdered, everyone's like, like, I get yelled at by my mother still in 45 for saying the word fuck.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just like, if the word fuck, and this is an angel with my mother, this is another people.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: If the word fuck offends you, I'm gonna give my mom a pass, she's in her 70s.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: If the word fuck offends you more than a woman being shot in the face.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: like you're the problem.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like you're fucking problem.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and it's, and then there's the whole thing of the ice, I mean, there was a doctor there and ice wouldn't let the doctor help her.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you know, and I have a mega family member.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I fucking think of her every single time shit like this happens.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: And basically what I do is, you know, I imagine telling her
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: my perception, and then her coming back with her, you know, Fox, she doesn't watch Fox News.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: She watches Newsmax or whatever fucking bullshit thing that she's watching worse than Fox News.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I can only imagine what she would come, and I just, I can't deal with it.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I wish I didn't.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: do that in my head.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: But it happens every fucking time.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think something horrible happens and I think how she would defend it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it just, it makes me crazy.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: And we're seeing all over the place that Magga is defending her murder.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting their cues from the fascist overlords and basically poppin' them.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: Are they all saying, yeah, they're all saying the same thing.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're all, because I've been on all the different platforms looking at the comments just like browsing through and I'm like, they're all saying the same thing.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: that he had every right to defend himself, you know, she should have complied, and I'm like, wow, Nazi, okay, he could have complied.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: What was she supposed to, they told her to drive so she drove, and when she didn't, yeah, anyway.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then I mean, it,
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: I keep, like, what, one of the visuals that I saw, I mean, unfortunately, somebody posted a visual of her and I saw it.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I wish I didn't.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the thing that is haunting you the most is, I don't know if you saw it, but it was her backseat and like the back of the driver's seat was just all children's toys.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: They fucking orphaned her son, because I believe the father died in 2023.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: so i thought i don't i i saw reports that she had three children and then i i don't know if it's three or one but i do know that at least with a six-year-old son that the sun was orphaned and you know i just fucking jadey vans is saying that they're gonna get more
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: people took and you know what are more ice members and it's like they're not they're not evading these people it's just anybody who wants to walk around killing here's a gun it's a Gestapo it's absolutely a Gestapo it's it's not even subtle it's it's what it is they are going around they are a secret police going around and and you've got like amazing people yeah and millions of people cheering it on
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: which is I always wondered how Nazi Germany came to power right yeah well we're watching it now we're watching it right now although I will say this I I you know I'm not saying I'm not being polyan about this in any way but I seriously do not believe we're going to go into Nazi Germany I mean I know we're going to have our own experience of
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, God only knows what we're going to see between now and the midterms because you know they're afraid you know they're all afraid of the midterms and I believe part of what's happening is the handlers of Donald Trump recognized that he's not a healthy man.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: He talks in gibberish a lot of the time he still.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: able to, you know, speak in some coherent sentences.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: He still seems like he has some of his mental capacity, but it's it's fading very quickly and I think what they're doing is just ramming as much as project 2025 in as they can before
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, whatever, whatever it would be, whether it's, you know, he, he does a hard attack and kills over or, you know, he can't even speak in a coherent sentence anymore.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, I don't know.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know that last year, I didn't think that he would necessarily make it through the year.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: there were other people who made, there were a bunch of people who thought it was maybe in February of this year, and there is a guy on Instagram, I've talked about, I don't remember his name so sorry, but he's a doctor who's giving Trump from what he can see, nobody knows for sure, nobody can ever predict, you know, anybody's demise, but basically,
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: two to four months and he says that's you know in the land of the living or if he's twenty fifth amendment out or can't speak whatever so you know we don't know what's going to happen this year but I do think that I always put it this is how I always look at it when somebody when it's someone I don't like so Donald Trump I don't you know I don't like this man and he's sick and so if I say oh he looks sick he doesn't have long people will act like oh you
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: People will kind of think that it's hopeful because I don't like him.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say, if he were my father and I loved him,
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: What would I think?
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: I would be really fucking concerned, you know, if you wear it where his kids, by the way, like, you know, is there any love?
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good point.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he doesn't look well.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I honestly think if he wasn't getting the best care in the world, he'd probably be dead by now.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: Probably be dead.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: Have you looked at him recently?
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: His face looks like a gray green, like with his makeup, like they're trying to cover his face.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I haven't seen the great green part.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I try not to see him.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's more like that.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely his makeup.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: But then it's like this like grayish.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: Really.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not like obvious.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like if you look, he's not well.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's eyes like the guy is sick.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it's obvious.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not from my mouth to god's ears.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's obvious to everyone.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, it's not fucking like.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you go back to 2016 and look at videos for even four years and totally different.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, totally different.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, energy.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: It would still spill a dick.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: We still hated him.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: But like he had energy and this like, and he could speak coherently.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he wasn't.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, before the election, he was jerking off the or actually performing Felicia on a microphone and talking about, I won't let this go.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: talking about Arnold Palmer's penis, how big it was, and how inappropriate it is that that's what a presidential candidate would be talking about after he had been convicted of 34 felonies and after he had basically been determined to rapist by a jury of his peers.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I just think it's obvious.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not from my mouth to God's ears.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just a hopeful thinking.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's obvious.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: The whole fucking internet is waiting for him to die.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: We've been waiting for him to die since the election.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then dropping up JD a lot more lately, like normally BPs, like you don't hear from them like they're right.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like you don't try to.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: And they're dropping up JD and they're also dropping up Erica Kirk, which is, yes, they are.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now we didn't plan on talking about that, but you know what that, that's some fuzzy shit right there.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I mean, I can't, I can't sit here with any real, um, knowledge of what's going on.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: But let's just look at how it went.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: So her husband gets shot in the throat and I swear to God,
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a video of that and I just wish I didn't because when I say it, I see it anyway.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: So her husband, I mean, I feel like I grieved Charlie Kirk more than she did.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I fucking hate him.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: I hated him.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I was like, I was like, no one deserves to go like that.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, he had kids.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I, you know, I don't, his kids are innocent.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I would never wish that on anyone.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, okay, so you have this situation where this woman,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: the father of her children is shot in the neck and like three minutes later she's in sparkly outfits and pyro techniques, you know, it's basically pressing her boobs up against JD events and saying, you know, and cradling his head in her hands and running around saying how much he reminds her of her late husband.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then, and then at the same time, JD events is talking about his wife wishing she would be a Christian and how whites don't have to apologize anymore.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, it's all really weird how this is unfolding.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I try it out to get too conspiratorial about it.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: But not.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: But how can you not?
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, what the fuck?
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I greve animals more than she greve her dead husband.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: Well, she did that selfie like that video right after.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like right after.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: And where she was like stroking his dead body supposedly.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: And it was like, I'm like, what are you doing?
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is like, this is your time to greet.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like,
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Pirate Technics, all of that.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: And the sparkly outfits and all the makeup and the content looking up to God.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you didn't hear from Charlie's family either.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it was a show.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was a show and it was a show.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: And.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, my conspiratorial mind will say, I think it was planned.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: But that's, yeah, I mean, I don't say.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I've heard the theory, you know, the internet theory, that J, okay, so like obviously, J, no one likes JD and down, though it, but I think with Charlie Kirk, he was, you know, developing this huge audience and they wanted that audience.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so I don't know like some kind of a plan to get
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: Erica in the mix of all of this, bringing along Charlie's, I don't know, I can't remember exactly what the theory is, but I just know that they want to try.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Can I remember if it was split, if there was some kind of split from Trump or whatever it was, but that they want, something about the Kirk people didn't like Vance so much or what?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: This is a way to bridge that gap.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: They were all over Epstein, too.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Charlie, that's right.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's right, that's right, Epstein stuff.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: And it was weird how, I mean,
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: how she got introduced to him and like, with a job interview, all right.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's like, I don't know, there's just so many holes in that story.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was just there with the heart.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're just fucking weird people.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like, what is happening?
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then fucking Jesse Waters is, you know, I wouldn't listen to him because I hate him.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: But he, and I really don't want to hate anyone.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I hate being in the hate.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: But he made her sound like a terrorist because she was gay.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I just want to point out, let's see, can I do this?
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: I might make some funny little noises.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to play.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: What I guess ALC was asked by a Fox News producer if she would go on the Jessie water show.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: And she's so awesome.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: So you just have to give me a set.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here it is.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let me get it all to here we go.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: He has sexualized me on the show.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: He has sexualized me on the show.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: He has sexualized me on the show.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: He has engaged in for riffing.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, we have avoided it.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's not her father.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_02]: It is true.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_02]: Please, please, please, please, please, please be of watching support and post sleep with Steven Miller.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: So why don't you tell me what you think was acceptable to tell the one in.
- 28:14[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: She just walks away from it.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: Fucking love her.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: I love her.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: She says what needs to be said.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: And she says it in a way.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: that's this amazing.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: I love her.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, I posted on social media that I think it was like back in 2019, Alyssa Milano had suggested doing a sex strike.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I just have to put it out there that she did it to get attention.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: She wasn't actually expecting that to happen.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: But she wanted to bring attention to abortion.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: legislation that had come up anyway.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um so she suggested a sex strike and I was defending it and I was kind of like, you know, promoting and amplifying.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I got an email from the just water show.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: I definitely did not sleep with men.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: I will definitely do that for the team.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: I will not sleep with any man.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: I will withhold sex from men for as long as necessary.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so, but I, I replied and I, I just basically, you know, there was a segment where just he went out on the street and was being incredibly cool and demeaning to homeless people.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I brought that up and then I said, you know, I also will never go on a hate for profit network.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's how I responded to that.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I felt, I kind of felt like a great company that I also said, fuck you, Jesse Waters.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: I love the OC.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: She's just, you know, that's what I love about her.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, no, I'm going to ask you something.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: See, I took these notes and I told you what they would be and I shouldn't have because now I just thought of something new.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to ask you about this because this is concerning me and one of the things that I appreciate about you is your small C conservative.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: You're not.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, you're not, you're a liberal, but you, you're like conservative in that you are, I don't even know how I would describe it.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're more conservative than I am, but not conservative in a political way.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: Does that make sense?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: I need to hear more.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's, um, I'm definitely liberal.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's for sure.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: But yes.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, okay, so then maybe just forget everything I just said about your small sea conservative as whatever, I mean, I know you're a liberal, but what I'm concerned about is that, you know, not to get, I'm not getting you none.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even going to weigh in on the Democratic behavior.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to talk about, let's look at New York and let's look at Virginia, that election, right?
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: So we saw Mom Donnie and we saw Abigail Spamberger win.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now they're very different kinds of candidates, although they did run on the same message which is affordability, but obviously someone who's going to be elected in Kentucky is not necessarily going to be elected in the or California vice versa.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so what I'm seeing right now especially with the, you know, everybody's, and I've played along a little bit because I think Mark Kelly might be an interesting choice for 2028.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I know we're not supposed to get there until we finish, you know, the midterms and all that shit, but we're also hungry for new leadership that we can't help it speculate and look at what's going on.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: So what I'm seeing though is there is, you know, there is some critique of the way some of the Democrats are handling the fascists, because there are a group of voters who do not like, you know, they want more ompf.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: We realize that, you know, you can't legislate, but you don't have to vote for the nominees, you don't have to vote for some of the legislation that the GOP is putting through and they are.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, there are some Democrats that are just appointing.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: And once again,
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm seeing that purity versus, you know, the, the small sea conservative D people that are more like I don't know, I'm trying to think of someone right now that would be a little bit more conservative in the Democratic party, but it's like I'm seeing I'm already seeing the purity shit starting for 2028 is the whole point to this.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: like a Seth Moulton, that kind of thing, yeah, and it's concerning me because I feel like we can't keep fucking doing this, and I totally get that, because I'm really progressive.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm probably about as progressive as they come, but I also understand, you know, my...
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: the way I view the world is not going to be the same way somebody in Kentucky or in Alabama or whatever views the world.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I understand that and I'm willing to take small steps over time in criminal steps, whereas the pierists aren't.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just, you know, I don't even know what to say about that other than it frustrates me and I think as influencers we can't allow
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: that messaging to permeate in the way that we have.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't even know, like, is that something that you're seeing is that something you're concerned about?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because even though the presidential election is still a good time away, that fucking conversation has already started.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: Have you been seeing it?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: I have.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've been seeing it a little bit locally, too.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Just like the super, super-pressives, not wanting to be behind candidates that have been there a while.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: That kind of thing.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: I get it, but it's kind of like right now we need to win.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: We need to win.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: And we need the best, like for New York City, I'm donning was a great candidate for him, because he could rally New York City, sing with Abigail Spamberger and Virginia, sing with Mikey Cheryl and New Jersey.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: And they all ran differently, and they all won.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we need to choose winners.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like Trump, when I say that.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: But it's true.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we need to choose winners and not just go with our ideological.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, they're not this, this, they're that.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, well,
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: can they win?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do that and then go from there because if we lose, like Hilary lost to the, I mean, I was called them the Puritans.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: The people who were like, like, we're never going to vote for Hilary win.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Josephine voters and all of that.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they gave us, they gave us Trump.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: And something similar happened in 2024.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like that's, that's not a way to go.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like I am, I would say like, I'm not
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm definitely like center left, I wouldn't say.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say that's what I would say.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: Center left, there you go.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm center left, I do, how I think about certain things.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not a Bernie person.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: As much as I love AOC, I don't particularly like Bernie Sanders.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I do love AOC, and I love how she gets her message out there.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that she's a doer and not just a talker.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot to do with that.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I go, but I go bad.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: I always like Bernie's ideas.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't necessarily like him.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's a brilliant diagnostician.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like he can tell you what's wrong.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's like a doctor that can be like, you have cancer and you're like, oh, shit, that's terrible.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, well, what do I do about it?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh, no, but I know you got cancer.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, oh, God.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then AOC comes along and he's like, well, this is what we can do.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I know that I was so fucking A. I mean, I've been for him.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: I've been against him.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I've just decided to this point.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, he's not going to be come president.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to run.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's never going to be the president.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not worried about that.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: We have other people that might be similar to him or whatever.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: That
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: might show up in the future, but right now, you know, I'm going to appreciate his messaging for the most part.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he pisses me off, but I know that Randy Bryce is running again and got his, uh, he got Bernie's endorsement, and he gets very upset when I, when I yell at Bernie, and it's like, dude, you just got to let me do it, you just got to let me yell at him because he's pissing me off.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: And he's wrong here about whatever I would think he was wrong about, but it's like I just want to be really clear for those, you know, I love Randy Bryce.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's awesome.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's also a wonderful progressive and, you know, he's iron stash.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's the iron worker.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember it?
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: What state is he in?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Can you remember?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: What's constant?
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: What's constant?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know, I mean, I hope that he wins because I like him, but yeah, I'm totally with you on the Bernie thing and I love AOC and I just, um, I don't know.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: This whole thing is concerning me.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: I will save this, though.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to play Devil's Ad, but get to my own fear, um, which is, I think.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that's going to benefit us in this election, not moving forward, it's really going to be important that we elect people who make sweeping changes.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have sweeping changes.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: We can't keep doing what we're doing over and over again.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then have a Democrat win just because of all the horrible things Republicans have done.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: But I was just going to say that that's where we're headed.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're going to have an amazing midterm because the Republicans are still bad.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to have an amazing, yeah, I want to have an amazing general because the Democrats are so good.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want it to be because the Republicans have just destroyed us so deeply that, okay, we have to vote for the Democrats now and then we get four years of Democrats and then forget and don't change anything and have a wretched Supreme Court and all of it and go right back to this again with a smart fucking fascist who will seal the deal.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: because I don't think the deal is sealed right now as awful as it is.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's important to expect.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: that this year, leading up to these midterms, we're gonna see some shit.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it's gonna be worse than what we've seen.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be more of what we've seen, but it's going to be faster and more furious and more angry and more violent.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: And because of this, because of, I mean, I hate putting this out in the world,
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think we can safely say that there are going to be protests for this woman who was murdered by ICE.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: likely we're going to see that whole bad actor from the right starting, you know, violence, and then they're going to try to justify whatever they're going to do.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: Is it going to be martial law?
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Is it, you know, what are they going to do?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but they are, I think what their goal is is to
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: use their, that's why they're forced.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly what they want.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: They're trying to push the narrative that she was driving into him to say that she was violence so that they can use lethal force.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what they want to do.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what Trump is going to eventually call Marshall law and there's not, and I my fear is that there's not going to be a midterms that is we're going to have a.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the thing with the midterms and I know what you're meaning, I think that's everybody's fear.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's going to happen because I know how, I don't know, I can't, I guess I can't explain why.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think we're going to have that scenario happen.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know, I don't know, so I'm not making a prediction, I'm just, I'm doubting it.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking that we're going to have elections.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think that providing those elections happen,
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: I believe the four of the most parts is going to be cheating because they always cheat.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, there's going to be legal cheating, there's going to be illegal cheating in all of it, but I have a feeling that it's going to be like it was in 2018, we're big some bigger.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're going to have a much bigger, you know, electorate, come out.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: We saw it last, even here locally, I saw it last fall for 2025, like Democrats swept, like we swept the school board, we swept like all our local tickets, we swept mayor, I made a joke because I already mentioned how much I don't like that mayor.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: But I said, I was like we could run a gardener with a D next to his name and he would have won and that's true.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I think that's going to happen this fall too.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it will.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, I mean, who knows where we're going to go after that?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that because of all of that, yeah, we can absolutely expect, I know I must have been going off into a tangent, and then I forgot.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever I was talking about, but still ultimately, I do think that, you know, we're going to be in a position next year, and I hope, because mostly I hear that we're going to take the house back, and I have heard a few people suggest that,
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, possibly the Senate could be in play.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, in fact, there is a small chance, and please, small chance, that we can fucking have a democratic majority in the house before the fucking midterms.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: We couldn't.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: We could.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there are special elections, somebody.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know he was in a red district, but a Republican just passed away unexpectedly.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it was somewhere in California, I think, in northern California.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: Marcia Taylor Green just laughed and she just left Sean Harris is running in that race and he is great Yeah, I mean obviously in some of the red states they're just going to be replaced by other red, but you don't know because the thing is is like let's look at 2020 Yeah, and we had eight million people basically eight million more people voting for Biden and and the reason was because they fucking hated Trump and he at that time They're a guardrail.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: There's no guardrails now
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think those people who voted, you know, and then they didn't show up for Kamal Harris.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: I know that there were all kinds of shit, you know, there are people that swear up and down that that election was stolen and that's, you know, I always go for the, to me, it's just obvious, they just cheat.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: They always cheat.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it's country hates women.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: They hate women.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: They hate, it's a combination.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they cheered in the hate women in the hate black women, even though black women are like fucking holding us all up, but no, and I don't And we're at all together is because of black women.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're right.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know anything.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't mean to say that like I'm just relying on the black women to So I'm just saying that we keep relying on the black women and we should be yes, we should all fucking be helping it, but that's a whole other conversation
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, it just, I don't know, I do have hope and I think we're, you know, there is a possibility that we could go all the way blue.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, you know, 2018 was massive, right?
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: It was big.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was, uh, the difference between the 2014 midterm and the 2018 was like the lowest turnout in 80 years in 2014.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then general election turnout in 2018.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that 2026,
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: is going to be huge for Democrats.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not going to be because Democrats, I mean, yes, it's going to be in part because Democrats
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: We make better laws and we're kinder and we basically come from a loving place because we want to take care of people.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I do know that that's part of the reason.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: But really, it's like you can't only be because Trump is bad Republicans are bad.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: It has to be because the Democrats have not only sold themselves as the party who takes care of you, but this guy Scott Jennings, I believe he is the, I could believe he said this, but I looked him up and it is the Jeopardy guy, right?
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: The guy who loves Jeopardy and he said,
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: The prosecutor, the former regime at every level candidate has my vote in 2028.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: And that's it.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: The Democrats have to
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: stop worrying about what things look like, and if Republicans are going to do it, if they do it, we have to expand the court.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have sweeping progressive all kinds of different changes to make sure people have health care.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: God, all we have to do is get enough Democrats in there to put in a public option to get Medicare for all started.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: So there's so many things that they need to do, and as much as Biden did, and he did a lot, he just didn't brag about it as much as, you know, that's Democrats problem right there, is they don't brag enough?
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, he would like fucking brag.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: He literally have done every policy since World War II that's been better for this country has been from Democrats, yes, literally all of them, and every shitty one has been from Republicans.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like,
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Bragg about that.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: Bragg about the post 9-11 GI Bill.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: Bragg about Social Security, Medicare Medicaid, and Snap, and Bragg about making sure people, you know, you know, get their college debt paid off.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're part-tallish debt.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Bragg about these things.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like Trump brags about shit he hasn't done.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: He pranks about shit Biden didn't look credit for it.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's same with Obama.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like like the Veterans Choice Health thing.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: That was all Obama.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: What he did was just put a new
- 45:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, no, you didn't, you asshole.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but that, but voters, you know, you just, voters aren't paying attention or they just look at the very surface and they don't go deeper.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: And they just, you know, I don't, I don't understand that, but I guess the bottom line is as long as people are uncomfortable.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: We people just have to be uncomfortable.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I, you know, I think that the
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: that bodes better for us in the long run, because if we're comfortable enough, then we don't do enough.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's just playing out, we can see it.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I mean, the reason Democrats lost, and I hate saying this, it's not because the time wasn't long enough that, you know, I've heard people say, oh, it was just three months and it wasn't long enough, it was long enough.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: it's that she was black and she was a woman and she was really accomplished and fucking there's a huge swath of this country that just came handle that and they want to turn her into a horror and they want to turn her into all these horrible things and none of this shit would be going on you know she was going to give fucking first time homeowners $25,000 towards your new house.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: And instead, this fucking woman is murdered by this Gestapo fucking Nazi.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we haven't even talked about fucking Venezuela and Greenland, but I just wanna say about that.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's clearly an effort to get three massive superpowers controlling everything, oligarchy rule.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: for the world for the planet.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's what control all the energy sources.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: And if you look, yeah, I think you look at all the minerals in Greenland too.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it's all.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's and warm water ports.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's, you know, Russia with Ukraine.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's, they want to control the world.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: And my, saying it's my hemisphere.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that is a direct,
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: But that's like directly going against like NATO.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's great.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like it's spitting in their face Yeah, because it'll be being like fuck you like we're gonna do this anyway And then and then God we haven't even talked about esteem But this whole thing about Venice like attacking Venezuela as a distraction I just want to say that No, it's just another crime and
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you dismiss it as a distraction, you're not taking what's happening seriously enough.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_01]: We can walk and chew gum.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, everything he does is everything is a distraction.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing is a distraction.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: I keep saying that.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's like everything is a fucking distraction.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, yeah, he doesn't want us talking about Epstein.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want us talking about this woman who has killed.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want us talking about whatever, but he just keeps throwing crime bombs at us.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: Everything, crime, crime, crime, breaking the law, breaking the law, and then maybe a judge comes along and says, oh, you can't do that.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, fuck you, we don't care.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to keep doing it.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, although I have to say that I think it was in Chicago, Trump gave up on nice.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see that?
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_01]: He'd like to sign it.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck it.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to do it.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: But he's going to do it elsewhere.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we just, the bottom line is, you know,
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_01]: I guess this, you know, I question my role in all of this.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a podcast, and I'm not trying to solve anything.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I just, you know, we're talking it through.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're all going through this together.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: None of us have had their experience this before.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, unless you're an immigrant who escaped from a country, from a shit hole country, as Trump likes to call, if you escaped from a horrible country, now you're, now you're in this shit hole country.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: And you already have been through it, but we haven't, we haven't lived through this shit.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_00]: And my favorite is I'm saying Scandinavian countries, you're welcome here and I'm like, why the fuck would they come here?
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: Why would they want to come here?
- 49:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, how obvious is that?
- 49:07[SPEAKER_01]: High white people, we love you and South Africa.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so obvious, it's almost odd, it's sad growth.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's gotten by his whole life.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: He had the book, the art of the deal.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: It should have been the art of the con.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's a con man.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: Everything out of his mouth is trying to sell you something.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: Sell you one of the lies, sell you one, that and he's a con man.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he's conned a good 38% of this country, you know what I'm saying?
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, because there was, I think so many of them have anger issues or, you know, just issues in general.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: They feel that their victims, they feel that they've somehow been slided by life and then you have people on the right, like Rush Limbaugh and, you know, Donald Trump blaming everybody else here.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Look at that.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Look at that person.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're the reason you're angry.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: Go
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know what it's gonna take.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what, because this cult is kind of, you know, did you hear, I'm just going off into Tangents now and I know you have to end soon, but I think it was during the break.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: It was during the Christmas break.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: I saw the story about God, I wish I could remember.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: There was a tone for it, but there was this guy who's like evidently the new darling of the right who started off looking a certain way, didn't like the way he looked, so he takes meth.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: and he takes steroids and he believes he's improving his physical appearance.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know he works out and everything, but so he and I guess he was just interviewed on a couple of right wing shows and he's like their new favorite and he and Nick Funtis who is a white
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: have said that they're going to be voting for Gavin Newsom in 2028 because he's good looking and JD is fatnugly.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: These guys are gay.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying that to be like, I'm not saying that to be like, you're gay.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a big old egg.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: So like, I'm not saying, I'm not saying that.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: I am, I'm tall and I'm old.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, but like, I'm just like, what, that's like the gayest thing to say.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what that?
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's a super guy.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, to be like, oh, we're voting for the most handsome.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm a handsome guy.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it's disgusting.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's so disgusting what these people are doing.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like, it's like morphing.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: Magga is morphing into this.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, you know, it's so funny because Bob and I are always talking about the internet and where things are gonna go.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I was telling him last night, I don't know where this is all gonna go.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: We keep seeing people complaining about how the internet is making everything worse.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember when chat rooms first, you know, when we first became aware of chat or it was like AOL chat rooms.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: And it was so much fun.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody was like, oh my god, oh my god, you could talk to people from across the world.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, it was like, it was amazing.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then they just devolved into these like 4chan nightmares.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: didn't take long and it seems that's kind of what happened with our internet right is like initially it's like oh my god this is so wonderful look at all the things that we can share and we can make all these connections and then now it's like grock is creating pictures like grock is the Twitter AI machine it's also creating pictures of children scantily clad children it's just terrible yeah before making images of the woman who died yesterday too it's it's just
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know that you're seeing a kind of human.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: You start to understand how Trump got elected because you have these like shitty humans on the planet.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're just like,
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I, yeah, I mean, it's beyond us.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: Bob and I are watching succession again for the second time, and I mean, it's, wow.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think the only way we can handle it is that they do not romanticize these people, that they really expose them for how disgusting and gross they are.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: And every time did you see succession?
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I watched it.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: So Roman, who is Colkan, Karen Colkan.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: Karen Colkan, yeah.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: Reminds me so much of Stephen Miller.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like every time I see Stephen Miller, I just think of Roman Roy.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: And they're similar.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think Stephen Miller's worst because he is awful.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: Probably the worst human on the planet right now.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: I am great.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: He is the worst human on the planet.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, there's this like chaotic energy that both of them have, and it's just, it's kind of weird to be watching this show.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's such a fucking good show.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: And, like I said, it's the second time when it first came out, Bob didn't want to watch it, because it was during, I think it was during Trump's years, and he just is like, I can't, I just can't do it.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: we've already watched it once and not like I said we're doing it again and now it's just it's kind of weird because you know you've got this patriarchy of the family who's not well and it's like Trump you know I mean it's I know that it's like the the Murdoch family very very close to the Murdoch family but as I think it's a combination of Trump's and Murdoch's
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's exactly it.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you have the one who reminds you so much a Don Jr.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Kendall.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's such a dark.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_01]: But Kendall, I mean, I would rather have Kendall than Don Jr. Kendall at least is.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: He tries.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: Don Junior doesn't even try.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's just, he's like, yeah, I'll be fascist.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be fascist.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be fascist for the money.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: But it's such a fucking good show anyway.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I know I've been going off into tangents and I don't know.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like I can't solve any of the problems.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I, and I think that starting last year, I just thought, what is my role here?
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: Not that I ever thought I had this big role, but I mean, I was doing my thing and going along in a certain way and then 2024 happened and I just like completely changed how I saw everything and I know everybody broke off and went to Substack and I I already had a Substack but I just like I didn't want to do it.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't want to be and I'm not criticizing anyone who does Substack.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: We need it right now, we need all that independent journalism but that's the whole point.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like everyone went to everyone went there and I just thought I don't
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be snarky all the time, and that's kind of my forte, especially in writing, and it's like, I don't want to do that.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm still kind of...
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: figuring out what is my role here, and I'll just end it with this that I want to take what I've learned from my own personal efforts in trying to figure out who I am and deal with the difficulties in life, I'm going to try to relay what I've learned.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_01]: and kind of bring it over into the political, because I don't want people to only view the negative.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of negative, but there's a way that we can navigate through that negative that can get us out of it.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: There's always a choice that we have as voters, as just individuals.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: And we can look and see, we can choose to find the happiness in our own personal lives.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: get the rest we need, get the nutrients we need, do all the things we need to keep ourselves healthy and whole.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then we have to collectively deal with this horror.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: And let's be there for each other and let's try to
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: Not like, I'm not going to be a sarcastic.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: Negex, sarcastic.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: When I see somebody who I think might misinterpret me, or like, for instance, the other day, I posted something about the military.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: that it's scary that they went along with the Venezuelan thing.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so somebody quote tweeted me and they said, if you expect the military to save us, you're crazy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I couldn't tell if that person was being condescending to me personally, or if they were making a general statement.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: My first reaction was to kind of come at them with an attitude, because I felt insulted.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I thought, wait a minute.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's no nuance here, I don't know exactly what so I just asked, I did tell them it appeared rude, but I said, I don't know if that's just you meant it differently and I read it this way.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: So that they came back and I wasn't rude to them.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just let them know that it sounded rude to me and they said, I apologize, I was not aiming that at you.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like sometimes we automatically jump into that defensive, sarcastic mode with each other.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm really making the effort to not do that.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not easy, and I can't promise I'll always be 100%.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what I'm trying to do this year.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to use what I've learned that helps me cope and kind of just throw it out there because...
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: Literally, love is all that matters, and I'm going to say it again, Harriet Tubman's actions came from love.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was the loving thing to do.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't that she was some pushover or some flower child who wasn't looking at reality.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: She was, and I don't mean to disflower children, but I'm just, you know, going with that stereotype.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to reiterate that when I say love is all that matter, it's not a polyan away of looking things.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_01]: Democrats legislate out of love because it's taking care of each other.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's making sure the people who are sick, you know, eat and have a place to live.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's love.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I mean, I feel like we need to keep our focus on being loving toward each other.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, that's what I'm going to do.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, that's my role.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I'm just taking on, like I'm trying to figure out my role here.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the best I got.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's great.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: And Harriet, time in the thing is great because she did what needed to be done.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you can't write her off as a polyana.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you have to just be like, yeah, we gotta fucking do this.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you gotta do this.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: We don't really have an option not to.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we do, we could just lay over and let's steam roll over us.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: So, no, fuck that shit.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, thank you so much for being my first guest on my first show of the year.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_00]: My pleasure, my honor.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: Where are you?
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: Where are you on the socials?
- 59:44[SPEAKER_00]: I am at Sarah Wood writer on most things and then at Sarah Wood on Blue's guy.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: Follow her everybody you probably already do you have more followers than I do now.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_01]: You have so many followers do you have?
- 59:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'm blue sky like one thirty five or something like that.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: You must bang.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, new year and, um, although I have a happy new year and do what you can for yourself, you know, it's find your happiness in this new year.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have to, um, thank you, Sarah.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's always great talking to you.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: Likewise.
