- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning friends and enemies.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: In today's video, we are going game by game talking through every single fancy relevant.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: We did the same thing on the channel yesterday for running backs.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: We will be labeling them as starts as sits as flex worthy players for your lineups in week 7.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be going through the nitty gritty that you won't be getting elsewhere.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about weather reports, practice reports,
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: every single type of report.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's out there.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: The IRS is coming for y'all.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: Week seven.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: Widersever rankings begins now.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: First game up on the slate.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Thursday, Night Football, the New England Patriots.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Tonight's are traveling to Chicago.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: Chicago is a 3.00 dog in this one.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: A 50 and a half point total.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: Specting a decent amount of points.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: You got Caleb back.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you got Drake May playing Best ball of the season thus far.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: He did just get AJ Brown back, who's the first receiver.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's on the list here.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, a dreadful game.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: First game back, you know, kind of getting his legs under him, getting his hands attached to his wrists.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I suppose a lot of drops, whatever.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're not really going to hold drops against him.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's not something that he's struggled with for his entire career.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's just, you know, getting back on the field.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: I will say with
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: video type of discussion, more longer term thinking, and there will be one out on the channel tomorrow, so make sure you're subscribed.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: I do that probably once a month, and tomorrow is the day that I do that, but AJ Brown, I think he's a tough diagnosis long term for the season for a few reasons like we had a really down season from him in Philadelphia.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, a lot of that last year, right, and a lot of that could be chalked up to the fact that he just kind of checked out didn't want to play there any more jail and hurts wasn't throwing him accurate passes if going on in the ball, whatever the case may be problem is we haven't really Gying the confirmation of whether that was AJ Brown's play starting to decline because if you look at a lot of the separation stats and just like the raw metrics from last year, it was all bad for AJ Brown.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, as you get older, some players just kind of fall off the cliff a little bit and we didn't get the confirmation of, hey, was that just the environment was that just like we can wave it away because he didn't want to be there anymore.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: problem is we didn't get anything early on in this season before he got hurt, right?
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like he played probably half the snaps in week one, had three catches for 25 yards or so.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: So it wasn't like we saw three weeks of play, where AJ Brown was back to his elite self, and it was like, oh, this is going to be a great fit with him in Drake, make kind of thing.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: We're still a little bit left wondering, like, who AJ Brown is at this point in his career?
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: I still think he's like a little bit of a tricky player to decipher for the rest of the season.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he did run basically every single route last week.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: He was there as a full-time player, which is encouraging, obviously, if you have him in fantasy and he's back into your lineup.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: One of the things more encouraging for his short maybe long-term future is the fact that Romeo Dobbs is out and on the IR, which means a lot more targets are just going to end up funneling to him.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: by default.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: So the targets are going to be there.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: The matchup is pretty good here against Chicago.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: This is a good game script.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you know, if you have them, you're putting into your lineup, I'm going to throw them into the feels good category until he proves that he needs to be a must start.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: But of course, if you have them, he's going into your lineup.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think Pop Douglas is an interesting start in New England as well as lines at three and a half and thirty eight and a half receiving yards.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's really tough to know behind a job around like who's going to have consistency in this offense, like sure.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: The Mario Douglas has been good the last couple of weeks, but we've seen this before from him.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen this before from every like secondary receiver in New England where, you know, this week, it's Pop Douglas.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, it's Pop Douglas.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: And this week, it's Hunter Henry next week.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's Kyle Williams.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: And the week after that, it's going to be an effton chism week.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then after that, it's going to be Eli Rared and we like there's a lot of uncertainty
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: whoever the top dog is in the offense, right?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that's without Matt Collins here.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: So like you could definitely start tomorrow Douglas in the shaky flex category.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to, but obviously just know that there's a very, very low floor with the type of player that he is same thing with everybody else in this offense here, but Romeo Dobbs, Matt Collins are out.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: So it should be much more of a condensed target chair for New England.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: other side of the ball.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: We got Caleb back with the burden had a big game last week though.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't running full routes and it doesn't seem like he's going to be on the field all the time for the two wide receiver sets.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to continue to try to establish the run and do that over and over and over and over and over again, which they do so effectively.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: But with Caleb Williams a little bit hampered by the hamstring, you see him lack you see the lack of running in his game.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: You saw it last week.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: But his arm looked great and you know when he's not running he ends up using his first reads a lot and that ends up being Luther burden when he is on the field.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I feel good about Luther burden.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel great about Roma dunes, eh, which is kind of an obvious take at this point.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't performed well
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: And in this matchup in particular, we do have Christian Gonzalez completely off the practice report.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: So he's fine.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you're going to see a lot of Gonzalez versus Roma Dune Day.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: Carlton Davis has been ruled out for this one.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: So their second best cornerback won't be suited up in this one, which I think just makes life a little bit of hell for Roma Dune Day.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to see a lot of Christian Gonzalez.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously he can kind of like have a big play down field.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Be a red zone threat, but he's definitely a shaky flex for this week.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the game in front, we have Pittsburgh and the New Orleans Saints.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a 44.5 point total.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: The Saints are three and a half point underdogs.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of is obviously going to be in your lineup.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: As you must start, every single week is going to be in your lineup.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of the ball is really interesting because you have a very condensed target here now between DKMF and Jeremy Bernard.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremy Bernard take over as the full time wide receiver too.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Last week had a monster game.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that condensed target tree is what I'm going to assume will continue to see going forward.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: I thought some of it last week could have been due to the fact that Pat Firemuth kind of tweaked his calf right before the game, but he does not seem to be on the practice report at all.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: So he should be good to go.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: The matchup is phenomenal against the Saints' terrible, terrible defense.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: So honestly, both of them are extremely dub flexes, and I would put them above.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: a guy like Luther burden most likely and and they're bordering on the feels good category I just don't know what their floors like we've seen dk mk floors over and over and over again since he's been in Pittsburgh even in really good matchups even in supposed like this should be the game where he goes kind of crazy a lot of the time Obviously DK's gonna match up with the number one corner back the Saints don't really have a shut down guy over there But Jeremy Bernard should continue to see a ton of targets So I think the two of them will combine to see 50-55% of the targets in this offense and uh
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: look pretty damn good doing it.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: So be happy to have both of them in the lineup.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, we've got Devon Velay who, you know, hasn't really shown too much juice over the last couple of weeks.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of that was matchup base, but I have no issue getting him into my lineup.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's definitely in the shaky flex category.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't really shown much of his ceiling this week, outside of like some garbage time points, but that's kind of who the Saints are.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: So thinking at their own in the lineup, I wouldn't feel overly confident about him, though.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: and there's no one else that we are starting.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: Of course Jordan Tyson is making the trip to Paris, but he is not ready to be playing yet.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I think then the next couple of weeks we'll probably see him back on the practice field and shooting up before we know it.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Next up we've got the New York Giants at the Houston Texans.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: The Texans are 10 and a half point favorites here.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Say 42 and a half point total.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: The big story line of course is that JJ McCarthy will be starting under center for the New York Giants in place of James Winston.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now Vegas seems to
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of just shoot that away and say, no problem, league neighbors, five and a half reception, 71 and a half receiving yards.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: I get it.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: That fourth quarter was insane.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: Jason McCarthy threw for over 200 yards in the fourth quarter and a lot of them were nice downfield throws.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the step up in defensive matchup is, um,
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: significant here planning out to use protections they are in Houston to make a rinds back calling plays here so malignabers going to see a ton of dark stingy going to see a ton of shadow coverage over the top of the safeties but you know he is seeing on a weekly basis 15 plus targets so obviously he's going to be the most sarcastic worry you know it's just kind of difficult to see
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: or no project what we're going to see from JJ McCarthy obviously was horrendous in Minnesota last year.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: The fourth quarter of the giant scheme was probably the best tapies put on film in his NFL career and it was one little miniscule quarter from his entirety.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: So much, much tougher task with the defensive line that JJ McCarthy is going to play against under center.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: under pressure.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: So Malik goes in your line up, but you know, it's not a hot take to say like, and don't be surprised if he struggles.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of things for Houston, a little bit tougher to decipher.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like Niko Collins obviously running every route, but they do just spread the ball out so often.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: So everyone's going to get target to this one.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to imagine anyone gets like a ton of targets.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Niko's not really guy that ends up seeing, you know, 10 to 15 targets a game, especially not when they're at full strength with now Marvin Harrison, Jalen Noel, Kishan Boote, like all these playmakers don't show, etc.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: uh... Nico's obviously going to be in your lineup as a must start in the matchup against the giants as much easier than it was last week against jacksonville uh... when he saw a lot of shadow coverage from Travis hunter who's becoming a lead quarterback behind Nico even with CJ shroud bowling out right now i think the guy that i feel second best about actually at
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think you could throw more of or jail in the well into your flexbox if you really need to.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you shouldn't expect the whole ton because neither of these guys run more than like 40 to 50% of the routes.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, well, it has seen a little bit of an uptick to the point where he is running 55, 65, 60% of the routes as a slack guy, which is great because he's really explosive.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Anytime he gets targets and opportunities, he kind of balls out.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: We wish we could see a little bit more of that.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: But with that kind of role, you obviously have a pretty low floor on a week to week basis where he's kind of in that like,
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to kind of like yearn for him to get more full-time snaps.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: Is it ever going to happen?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: He will have ceiling games like we saw last week, but he will also have floor games in Vegas.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of knows that.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: Both him and Marv are down at two and a half receptions, 29 and a half receiving yards.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: I did think Marv and Siegeys route showed better chemistry.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: in their like two quarters of playing together last week, then Marvel had at any point with Kyler Murray throughout last year or the last two years.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually think I was really encouraging for Marvel's long-term outlook in Houston, but obviously until they develop him into more of like a full-time player, really tough to say if he's ever going to be startable in fantasy right now.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: and then there's no one else in this game that we want to be throwing into our lineup.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Since an adi adds Baltimore, a one and a half point spread here in favor of since an adi just by moving to Baltimore, now the over under this game opened up, I want to say like 51, 52, and then a shot down to 48 and a half.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that was originally because there were reports that like Lamar Jackson wasn't going to be practicing this week, but then he did get an eliminated practice.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: So it's hard to say if Lamar is actually going to be out there and playing typically a limited practice on Wednesday is definitely trending in the right direction.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to push him.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: However,
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I do think off of a multi week injury doesn't always suggest that the player is ready to fully go.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we will probably need to see him get a full practice in either today or Friday for him to be under center.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously for all pieces involved, we want the mark is the upside with a guy like say flowers as well as just like the point scored.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: If it's silent, you know, we don't expect a lot of offense.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: So we're not going to have to be pushed on the Cincinnati side of things.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're obviously going to start.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: Jamar Chase, Tehiggins is who Tehiggins is a great wide receiver too.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: No questions about that one.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: the other, you know, tricky parts of this are Z-Flower.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, of course, if Lamar is under center, he's a must start.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: I still think, you know, without a doubt, you still feel confident with Tyler Huntley under center.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder how much DJ Turner he gets.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: He is a guy who moves around the formation quite a bit in terms of Z-Flower's outside inside.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: DJ Turner is kind of a lockdown corner back on the outside.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: They might task him with being a dude that just shadows him the entirety of the game.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And if that's Tyler Huntley and Z-Flower's getting shadowed by DJ Turner,
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: It might be a tough task.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously today is going to be in your lineup.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: He moves significantly further up the rankings if Lamar Jackson is under center.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: All of my rankings are available right now and live on BDE.co.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a fantasy member, so make sure to sign up if you want access to all these numbers rankings, etc.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: The other interesting player in this game is your Kobe Lane.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: had a really strong debut last week coming off of the risk injury that cost him the first six weeks or five weeks of the season.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he played really well.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Still playing behind Walker on the outside as Rashad Bateman didn't play.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: If we look at the practice reports, Rashad Bateman did get back to him and did practice on Wednesday, which also puts him in the scope of shooting up for this one.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that makes things really tricky between Jacoby Lane and Rashad Bateman.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: If Rashad Bateman was out another week, I would say Jacoby Lane is a really, really, you know, you
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: gamble, but interesting, like, flex play this week with the, with the ton of teams on buy.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: To me, he seems very clearly like the most, the second most talented wide receiver in this group right now.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I think his snap count's just going to continue to rise up and up.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: He was someone with a ton of summer hype, everything out of training camp, which is glowing about him.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then he had the wrist injury, unfortunately.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if Batman suits up, I don't really see a world where you can put either of them in your lineup.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: If Batman doesn't suit up, I do think
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: with Jacoby Lane if you're very very desperate in a deep league something like that moving to Tampa Bay at Carolina.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think the biggest thing we need to look at is the injured report, of course, for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where Baker Mayfield did get a full practice in on Wednesday.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: I am expecting him to play everything I've read everything I've heard all that kind of stuff despite Todd Bowles is
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: comments.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: It does seem like Baker Mayfield's definitely training in the right direction, which would obviously be a huge boost for the passing offense.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Not like they were great early on, but I still think you'd obviously want him under center.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: We do have some other injuries to kind of look out on.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: One of the more odd fractures report items here was a mechabuka who was a DNP on Wednesday.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: They had him with something like a foot or something lower body as well, but you can see concussion list in here.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: which means there was no reporter.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't leave the game on Sunday with a concussion.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: That means either in the hours or days following the game he experienced concussion symptoms, which puts him in the concussion protocol.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, that's not good.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, he can pass.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen a bunch of dudes over the last couple weeks, Jamar Chase, and some other players that have actually had a concussion on Sunday and then were able to clear for the very next week, which hadn't been the case for the previous few years.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's typically like a 90% rate where you're missing at least one game.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: This one was pretty surprising, so I would say if you have a boooka and obviously replaying on playing him, definitely have a backup ready for him, because the post game concussion symptoms is nothing to mess with, and I think there's a very, very good chance that he ends up missing this game because of that.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Bucky, absent with an illness, he'll probably be fine for that one.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: The Panthers still without their top two cornerbacks will be for a wild JC Horn and Mike.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson so who could play is obviously I feel you know relatively good about him.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be between the dub flex and the feels good category if he doesn't play I can't say I feel super confident about any of the guys behind him because they do throw the ball around a lot whether it's got win, hers, Tess Johnson none of them are really like full-time players at this point.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: God wouldn't be the guy I like the most he'd be a shaky flex though because he's I just don't think he's you know the same Chris Godwin that we were
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: You stew from a few years ago, he's just lost some of that juice anymore.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's not really a high upside player.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: But God wins a dude that I'd be like, okay, if a book was out for this one, her, so you could take a shot on if you want to, but the floor is extremely low for a player like him.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, you got two stud wide receivers.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Just keep doing their thing in St. McMillan, and Jalen Coker.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: So both of them go immediately into the feels good category.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: Should be another game, also I should note, without Antoine, when Field, he is doubtful for this game.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: Superstar safety on the Tampa Bay buck on your side of things next up.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Indy at Minnesota a 41.5 point total The Minnesota Vikings are six and a half point favorites here.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing in Minnesota They're playing in the dome.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: We will have a full squad for the Minnesota Vikings offense meeting TJ Hawkins in his clear concussion protocol Jordan Addison had a full practice on Wednesday from his hamstring train that cost him their pre-buy
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: game and Jordan Mason is a full-part spin as well, so the offense should be at full-strength for the most part Christian Darrystall good to go So Minnesota, you know, obviously just Jefferson's right into the Mustard category despite the really good matchup Like Jordan Asson is not really shown any sort of consistency this year, so he is a shaky flex the other side of things is very very tricky because you have the cult's offense which looks pretty much
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: like one of the worst in the NFL on top of that the Minnesota Vikings defense looks like the best in the NFL They have allowed like almost no points to opposing passers.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: They just put the quarterback under pressure so quickly Daniel Jones still coming from the Achilles tear like I don't know how mobile he's gonna be He's going to end up taking probably a ton of hits a ton of sacks and
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to have to get the ball up quickly, which does kind of work in the favor of a guy like Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, and if Tyler Warren misses another game with the groin strain, which he was a DNP on Wednesday with, so he's definitely on the wrong side of questionable at this point, you know, probably more targets for Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, and at this point, Keenan Allen is out producing Josh Downs on a weekly basis, Downs probably has a little bit more upside, but at this point, I don't even feel
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: like that's real like I think I'm just saying that to say that because that's not actually what's happening in the real game.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I think both of them in this matchup are extremely shaky flexes and nobody else we want to be starting here moving to Miami at the New York Jets.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: This is a 39.5 point total.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: I actually kind of like the over here because both of the defenses are pretty pretty pretty bad.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: The Jets are four and a half point favorites at home Garrett Wilson.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, it's going to be in your line-ups pretty low Vegas totals here at 62 and a half.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's just a part of the inconsistency with the Jets offense.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is good to see is there's just a lot of down games here regardless and just doesn't get fed enough targets.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: He just doesn't have enough plays made for him.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have enough targets near the red zone in the end zone.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: That was always the concern when you draft any Jets.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: player.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's not act like this is new news here.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: Behind our Wilson though, we have Omar Cooper, the first round rookie you had an explosion game last week, became, you know, the target of waiver wires this week, but we might have to push the brakes here, because at an imitial did return to a limited practice on Wednesday,
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: putting him in the trending direction of playing this week and that makes things quite messy because early on it was just garals in the adi Mitchell as full-time players and then the slot receiver role was like you know Omar Cooper here but kind of banged up and then I say William so it's a little bit tricky to decipher if adi Mitchell was playing did Omar Cooper earn more playing time.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: My instinct tells me that it's going to be Wilson and added on Mitchell and two Widersie Versets once again.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: They just go right back to that because I think they really do like 80 Mitchell here and then Omar Cooper is playing in three Widersie Versets probably ends up between the 50 and 65 percent snap rate, which obviously makes him a very, very dicey play.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: So with the trending direction of 80 Mitchell, I think that actually makes both of them
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty shaky flex plays.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: I would, if AD Mitchell ends up suiting up, start him over Omar Cooper, and I feel more confidently in him, because it's not like he's coming off of a high angle spraying or anything like that.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like as long as his finger is good to go, obviously he's already got it.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: You issues catching the ball, so it's not necessarily the injury that you want a guy like AD Mitchell to be dealing with, but I'm not overly concerned about him.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's still exposed, so he's got a lot of upside, but with a player like him, he also has a pretty low floor, but I do expect him to be near full-time player if he is suited up.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: For Miami, coming off the by does look like Caleb Douglas, who is off to a very, very hot star early in the year, will be back for them.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: You can see the Vegas lines have him at 35 and a half receiving yards and two and a half receptions as compared to Chris Bell at 21 and a half receiving yards and one and a half receptions, where Emily Washington's obviously been the most consistent guy.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is a good matchup against the jets.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I wouldn't say he's a dub flex by any means because he's shown almost no upside, but you can definitely throw him in for 9 to 10 points.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: I will say this is the first game where it's likely we get all three guys at full strength.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because even early on when Caleb Douglas was a full-time player in producing, Chris Bell was coming off the ACL tier and he was only like a 30, 40, 50% snap guy.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very curious to see how this receiver room shakes out, but all that being said, Miami scores like 13 points of game, milk wheels throws for 150 yards.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: almost on a good day, so it's not anything we could be overly excited about.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'd actually probably put both of these guys in the rather not category until we see how the offense kind of plays itself.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'd start Caleb Douglas over Chris Bell.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: If you're somehow in a league where you're making that decision, but I feel kind of terrible about both of them.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Cleveland at Tennessee.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: So they are in Tennessee and Tennessee is a one and a half point underdog, a 37 and a half point total here.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think Carnal Tate is a very, very strong start this week.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: Dub Flex, he's been,
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: a beast even last week when Cam Ward threw for like a hundred yards.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: Carnell Tade had 60, 70 of those yards had to touch down.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's just really good and in good matchups, which I can't say this is a great matchup because he's going to see a ton of Denzel Ward.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: I still think Carnell Tade is developing into that number one alpha receiver that they drafted him to be.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: They get more offensive cohesion.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: They get more consistency from a guy like Cam Ward and the ceiling for Carnell Tade.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like next year he's going to be, I don't know what I guess I, you know, hard to project with what they do, what they end up doing at the quarterback.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: position.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: But if Cam Ward, you know, is awesome over the second half of the year or they draft another quarter back.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's like a high upside guy.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: I could see Cornell tape being like a third round pick in fantasy drafts next year.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: Denzel Boston.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: I expect a bounce back game out of him against Tennessee.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: You could see a lot of green across the board.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: This is a great matchup for him.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: Casey can set his own.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a fine flex player.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Put him in the shaky flex category for sure because he's such a low A dot guy.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: But I think he's fine starting in this matchup.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing at Wandell Robinson is kind of like a bad version of Casey can set his own at this point.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: The two dudes are kind of like the same just old Dusty as dehydrated veterans and Judy and Calvin Ridley that you do not want in your lineups next Came up we've got San Francisco at the Atlanta Falcons.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: They 49 and a half point total The plane in the dome the environment should be great San Fran is traveling across country They are undefeated.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: They are awesome.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: Drake London is awesome He's going into the Mustard category.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: Hement panics are goaded together You don't want to start any other at Atlanta Falcons of course the interesting receiver group to figure out as of course the other side
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: the 49ers.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: Someone's probably going to have a good game here.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Figuring out who that's going to be extremely difficult because we got Debo out, of course, the whole receiver room is out.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Evans didn't practice on Wednesday with his Achilles.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's expected to miss at least one game here.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: We had Christian Kirk returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since day one of training camps.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he's missed the last, you know, two, three months.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was an offseason signing for them.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think the deal was like a year, five million dollars.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: So Kirk is.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: whatever.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: You've also got Brandon Cooks who's kind of just like Christian Kirk, but like fast forward two or three years.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: You've got guys like Jordan Watkins, like you've got random dudes, one of them can make a big play.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think at the end of the day, the most likely scenario is like, you know, Kirk maybe goes for 40, Brandon Cooks goes three for 40, maybe one of them scores a touchdown or has a big play, but it's going to be
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: a ton of throws to George Kittle, a ton of dump off of Christian McAfrey, a ton of carries the McAfrey and K-Lon black.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I think Kirk is like an interesting pickup right now just to see how he kind of fits into the offense as he gets healthier and healthier, but I would feel terrible about starting him above most of these shaky flex guys, same thing with Brandon Cooks, but I just fully expect that Niners says they always do to just feed the guys that are the guys in their offense.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Arizona.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a 43.5 point total.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing in Arizona.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: So they're in the dome.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos are four and a half point favorites here.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: Let's check the practice reports quickly.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: We have Pat Sertan with a limited practice, which does put them on the good side of questionable for this week.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: Riley Moss was full in this one.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: We'll Funga looks like he is doubtful and won't be playing.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: But getting Pat Sertan back is obviously a massive massive upgrade to this
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Denver Broncos defense Arizona Cardinals definitely have a bunch of dudes that would be big hits if they missed put a baker dmp on Wednesday with a growing our Williams dmp with the knee They're already down their top corner back for the year in will Johnson you've got Walter Nolan with a dmp with the ankle So important to keep an eye on the practice reports for the Arizona Cardinals
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, there's nobody in these receiver rooms that has shown any sort of consistency.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, while it's got the matchup, but does he have the offense?
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Does he have the quarterback?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Does he have any sort of like get some shit done type of ability?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: I've completely lost confidence in this man, but that's when dudes pop off.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, again, water is who water is.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: Very low floor could have a high ceiling game.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: We've literally seen one of those games so far.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: So he's gonna be somewhere within the shaky flex and dub flex category.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: So like, when I look at these guys, like, yeah, of course I'm gonna start water over Pop Douglas.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm probably gonna start them over guys, like VALA, Roman Dunes A, at an imitial, but when I start them over, the carnitate, it ends up awesome to loot the burden.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, I wouldn't.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: So like, doesn't really matter what theory's gonna be, and he's gonna be at the bottom of the dub flex, top of the shaky flex category.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Wilson, yes, he has struggled recently, and he's actually been worse since Marvin Harrison, Jr. has left.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: Do I think that's sticky?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: Not really.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we saw a lot of game action last year when Marvel was off the field, and Michael Wilson was an alpha.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Can I really explain why that's not happening right now?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I still want this dude in my lineup.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: Even if Pat Sertan is back, it's obviously a very, very tough matchup for him, but I still think those explosion games are ahead, so I would start him over Jayling the water, and he would definitely be in the dub flex category for me.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be surprised if you had just a random monster game.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: Quirl and Sutton, very shaky Flex, has the good matchup, but hasn't really shown anything this year.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: Kendrick Boren continues to be a pretty high floor player.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of like Malik Washington at this point.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: Do I expect this to be sticky against the Denver Broncos and continuing to be like a fire for 60 player?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not, but he's clearly like a big part of this passing offense right now.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: And other teams tend to focus on training pride when they try to shut down Michael Wilson.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Boren is probably like the next most talented past catcher here, especially if Jeremiah loves misses another game.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got Green Bay at Detroit.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is just a start-in-all.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: 53.5 points total.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Lions are three point favorites here.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: They're in Detroit.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: They're in the dome.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on Raza Mustard.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: Christian Watts seems a mustard.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: Matthew Golden is a mustard.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: James William, he's not a mustard, but he's gonna be in your lineup if you have him on your team.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna be a dub flex for me, because as we've seen,
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: has a very low floor has a high ceiling, but he just is what he is when Sam Laport is on the field.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's the fourth option in a really, really strong passing game.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, but the Green Bay Packers, I will say the Green Bay Packers, I was shocked to see I was looking at PFF and I was looking at their team grades.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: All right, just to see like if anything stuck out right now, Green Bay has the single highest graded team in terms of coverage rating, very surprised by that because I can't really tell you like many other cornerbacks, Kishan Nixon who I don't think's like a true alpha, but yeah, they are punching very, very far above their wayclass in terms of like the personnel on their team and what they're doing in coverage.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe not as easy of a matchup as you think, but James and Williams is
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: not really like a matchup depending guy.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's really just like a game plan depending guy.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: Is he gonna get the opportunities, but I think he belongs in that like Denzel Boston conversation for sure.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got the Rams at the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: Tremic Duffy with another DNP on Wednesday, he missed last week's game Tremic Duffy has at this point been basically the best corner back in the NFL.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: should also be noted not on the practice board because these guys are on the I.R.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: right now, Miles Garret's obviously out, but they also lost both going forward and Kobe Turner interior defensive linemen to the I.R.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: last week.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: So they are down a ton of dudes on defense, the L.A. Rams are just a 48.5 point total.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're obviously going to be without Devante Adams as well and the offensive side of the ball.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: The Rams are three and a half point favorites.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing in Vegas.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: So honestly, I think I'm probably going to hammer the Raiders side of things here, getting three and a half points because of how banged up the Rams are.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: the dude on the flip side like the other pass catchers that you want in this game are obviously the tight ends.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer to an extent.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: I really like Tyler Higby as well.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: Jerry Tucker had a really strong game.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really see that as being sticky.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: I see that as more of like a, okay, just, you know, good matchup.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: Had a good game, whatever, Brock Bowers kind of got shut down for a lot of it.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's a shaky flex to me.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of just like he's a shaky flex every single week.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even really have to talk about trade Tucker and then there's no one else that you want to be playing.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, if you want to talk about a cannot a month field or Jordan winning tin, I get it because it's the Rams offense, but I really think the biggest beneficiaries are just going to be a poooka and the tight ends.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, cannot a month field will be running ahead of Jordan winning tin in terms of routes.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: There was a good stat that came out though that after Devont Adams left the game, uh, the Rams ran 12 and 13 personnel on I think 86% of their plays.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: which means that there's a minimum of two if not three tight ends on, you know, the majority of their plays, which means heavy personnel, a lot of running and a lot of targets to tight ends, you saw it over and over again.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: It was like Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higby, Pooka and Kua.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: That was their game plan last week.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's probably going to be the game plan going forward.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I get it.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to get cute and throw Kanata Muffield in there, sure, but like understand Vegas has met 17 and a half yards, one and a half receptions.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: His floors, uh, zero for you.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Kansas City at Seattle for Sunday night football.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: I 42 and a half point total here, the chiefs coming off of there by week.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: The Seattle Seahawks are three point favorites at home, Jason, of course, is going into the Mustart category.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have confidence in anybody else here.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: It should be noted, Rossi Rice did start the week off with ADNP with the hamstring injury.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, again, he is on the wrong side of questionable for this
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: this one, which would leave Xavier worthy as the next guy up, you know, we have Jalen Royals and kind of Cyrus Allen running some routes, but those guys are extremely, those are dart throws from 30 feet away from the dart board.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: Xavier worthy, like you just hate the matchup, the Seattle Seawaks are so good on defense that like sure, they'll scheme up some targets for him, and of course he can make a big play, but he's really not a big play guy, despite the speed on there, his onfield speed does not match his 40 speed, so he's a shaky flex for me if Roshoorice is out.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise he's playing obviously Xavier worthy's not going to be in your line up, and
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, coming back from the hamstring strain, the tough matchup, just like the lack of upside we've seen from Rashi this year, he would definitely be more in the like Michael Wilson conversation where it's like probably pretty good players relatively good situations, but don't feel good about the matchup.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: Don't feel great about them being in my lineup.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: So they'd be like dub flexes, but Rashi would be a dub flex, but like near the middle area of it.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then she heat and Cooper Cup are like rather not shaky flex guys.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then last game of the week, we've got
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: Infili, the Cowboys are 4.5 point favorites, a 44 and a half point total.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, CD lambs going into the Mustard category.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: You got Tanner McKee at quarterback for the Eagles, didn't seem to stop Devante Smith whatsoever and has probably the single best matchup for wider receivers.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: The most EPA per pass play allowed by the Cowboys defense, the single highest success rate per pass allowed and the single most explosive plays allowed by a defense.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not good.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I will say like it doesn't really matter.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a very, very small point of nuance.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: Anytime you have a guy like Tanner McKee, who is still going to drop back a lot.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: He probably going to throw a bomb more than when Jalen Hertz was under center.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: It still does provide a low floor for any offense when you have a backup quarterback there.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: So worst things could happen, but democracy Smith is obviously going to be in your lineup.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: Pickins, I think, is what he is at this point.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be in the field.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: Good category.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: Though he has trouble against Philadelphia.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: He ends up seeing a ton of Quinion Mitchell.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: And that's obviously a tough matchup despite how the Philadelphia Eagles defense has been.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have allowed the fourth most fantasy points for a game to receive a position.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: Ninth most EPA per pass allowed.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: So definitely not the defense that they had been in previous years.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the struggling offense obviously kind of like lends itself to
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: better feel position for the offense less time on the field kind of thing.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: So it is more difficult when your defense is not playing well, but I'd imagine pickings is probably going to see a lot of outside work from Queen John Mitchell and C. Lambs going to go nuts over the slot and over the middle of the field.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: Besides those guys, there's no one I really want in the line up.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: You got Flanoy, Kyle Lemon on Taming Wix, but I think it'll mostly just be Devonta Smith and Dallas gotter getting the majority of targets for the Defilled Elfie Eagles.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: Not a lot of things up for the wide receiver video week seven here are your 15 must starts your five feels goods your nine dove flexes your 20 shaky flexes and your 15 rather nuts as always again all these rankings are available for our fantasy members on BDGE dot
