Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hey friend, let me ask you something.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: What if your podcast didn't change lives today?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: What if it shaped generations tomorrow?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Hey, welcome to part two of our series, Why Jesus is calling women to the mic.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Today's conversation is called The Power of Legacy and Voice as a Counter to Culture.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Hey, I'm Teresa Croft.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: I'm your host.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: I help Christian business women launch spirit-led podcasts that flow from overflow, not overwhelm.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And yes, I do teach two simple AI tools that remove the overwhelm so you can focus on the anointing.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: So the question, hmm, you don't need convincing that you have a voice.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: You've led, you've built, you've overcome.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: This conversation then is about alignment, making sure your voice is released from overflow, not obligation.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: So let's dive in.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: What are you unintentionally passing down?
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Silence or courage?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: That's the first question of this podcast episode.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: You're not just creating episodes.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: No, you're planting spiritual seeds.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Every story you tell, every breakthrough you share, every truth you speak, it leaves a footprint.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Podcasting is one of the only platforms where your literal voice becomes a part of your legacy, a digital imprint that lives on.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Now, this isn't just contents, it's inheritance.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And I've thought a lot about this lately, not in a morbid way, no, no, in a purposeful way.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: One day I will pass from the earth, and maybe my grandchildren or their children will wonder, what was she like?
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: What did she believe?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: How did Teresa walk through those hard things?
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And imagine them, pressing play, hearing my voice, not filtered, not perfect, but authentic, holy, steady.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: I think about my 89-year-old mom who I just talked on the phone.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Dementia has taken so much of her memory.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: She can be kind of funny sometimes.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: My children, my own children, can see pictures of her.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: They have visited her, and those moments matter.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: But I am grateful I can still remember her voice, her kind words, her laughter, her unwavering support.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: And it makes me realize something.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I am shaping legacy right now.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: If I am stuck no more, like I say in my motto, and keep using my voice, I'm leaving something behind that my children and theirs can return to.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Because if I don't speak, I pass down silence.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: But if I show up, flaws, healing journey, and all of it, I pass down courage.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Friend, your mic is not about attention.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It's about generational permission.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And silence is not your inheritance.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: So let me ask you another question.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Are you waiting to be louder or willing to be anchor?
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Let's be honest.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: The world is loud, fear is loud, confusion is loud, shame is loud, division is loud.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: But daughters of God don't echo noise.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: We override it, not by shouting, but by being anchored.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Some of you listening have walked through storms that almost took you out.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: I appreciate the DMs and emails of people, of women saying, Hey, I've been there too.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: But now your voice carries weight.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Not because you're loud, but because you lived it.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: There's a quote I once read that stayed with me.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: It goes like this Somewhere along the way we realize that our greatest wound can become the doorway to our greatest healing if we're willing to walk through it.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: I didn't just read that, I walked through that.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Because what nearly silenced me became the very place God rebuilt me.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And if I'm honest, walking through that doorway took years.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: For you see, for 26 years my life was sadly marked by emotional survival.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Basically, I was married to a man battling his own unhealed brokenness.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: And much of that time I survived the emotional fallout.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I fought for my voice with this narcissist in the house, even when it felt easier to shrink.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: This is the sad thing.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Jealousy created isolation.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Dreams felt delayed.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Friendships felt distant.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: There were days my voice shook, days I tried to record, sometimes in a closet where he couldn't find me, days I wondered if I would ever fully step into the call to speak.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: But one thing remained.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I knew I had this desire to speak.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: So I stayed in his presence.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: Morning after morning, Jesus and coffee in hand, the word open on my lap.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: I clung to the voice of the vine dresser.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I love John 15.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And when my voice felt small, and here's the key I wanted you to hear.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: After my husband passed away, I still had to heal before I spoke more powerfully.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Freedom from a situation is not the same as healing from it.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I was so excited to be free, but then I realized, ooh, I needed to be healed.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: God miraculously brought a mentor, a neurocycle expert who not only led me through months after months of just good work, good neurocycle work, she eventually became a very trusted friend.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: There was intentional work, she always had homework for me, renewing of the mind, and identity shift where I learned to trust myself again.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Because I don't want to speak from open wounds.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: I want to speak from healed scars.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: And when my voice returned, it didn't come back loud.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: It came back steady, spirit-filled, grounded.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And that kind of voice, culture cannot compete with.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: So your podcast doesn't have to be flashy, but it will be holy as you speak from the overflow.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Because when truth flows from intimacy with God, someone hears hope, maybe for the first time.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: And atmospheres, they shift, bring in an open heaven.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Here's where you come in, okay?
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: If God trusted you with this story, why are you doubting your ability to steward it?
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: You've been entrusted, you know that, with a voice that carries weight, not worldly fame, kingdom authority, the weight of glory.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: And when a woman gets bold enough to share her story, revival ripples.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So I know you've probably built a business, yeah, you led teams, you solved problems, but this is legacy work.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: You want your children to know faith.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: So you speak it.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: You want women to believe again, testify.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: You want your legacy to be bold, use your mic.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: But hear me clearly.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: You don't start from hustle, you start from healing, you start from overflow.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: That's why I teach podcasting the way I do, not strategy first, but identity first, then some structure, then some amazing systems, and then support.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: I really believe that when you find your voice and when you already know your voice and you podcast and you start doing that episode, I really believe it's a place of transformation.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: It's like I can trust myself.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: I have a voice, I have something to say.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes, out of the overflow of God, you have more than enough to say.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Listen, legacy is too important to build from burnout.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So let me ask you, are you ready to begin?
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Before you answer that, just notice what's happening inside you right now.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: If something feels stirred, if something feels exposed, if something feels awakened, that's not emotion, friend.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: That's recognition.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: You're not confused about your calling.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: You're wrestling with your capacity.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: And those are two very different things.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: You already carry the voice.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: You already carry the testimony, you already carry the authority.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: The breakthrough isn't discovering your called.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: The breakthrough is admitting you're ready to steward it.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: And stewardship requires movement.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Legacy doesn't build itself, healing doesn't implement itself, voices don't activate themselves.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: There comes a moment when agreement turns into action, when clarity turns into structure, where stirring turns into strategy, and this might be that very moment for you.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Not because I'm convincing you, but because something in you, it's time, it's saying it.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: I can hear it.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: It's time.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Time to stop shrinking, time to stop overthinking, time to stop waiting for perfect conditions.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Breakthrough feels powerful, but implementation that builds legacy.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: So if you're ready to move from stirring to structure, from idea to execution, from healing to activation to real transformation in your voice, I want to invite you into the next step.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: I created a free training at Stuchnomarvoices.aiai.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: I'll walk you through what we do as far as the academy.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: We'll talk clarity, we'll talk structure, we'll talk about the simple systems I use, and we'll talk about community and transformation.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: We talk about the two AI tools, too, by the way, that remove overwhelm so you can focus on your anointing, not the tech.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: When you sign up, you also receive a bonus video.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Three spirit-led steps to creating your podcasts.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: This isn't about chasing influence.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: It's about answering invitation.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: If you've built businesses, led teams, carried responsibility, you already know how to build.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Now it's something time to build something eternal, maybe something that goes along your amazing business, your amazing coaching, or even a somewhat marketing tool amongst your other tools.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Take the step.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Not because you feel pressure, but because you feel peace.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: And peace is often the clearest confirmation.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Let your heart compass always be led by peace.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: I'll meet you there.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: So thanks so much for joining me.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: I really appreciate that.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Be sure to like it or write a testimony so someone else can get a hold of it.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: And hey, listen, I will be so excited to bring you part three of this series, Why Jesus is handing women the mic.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: So until next time, this is the Stuck No More Voices Podcast, and I'm Teresa Croft.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Have a super great day.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And listen, someone is waiting for your voice.
