- 2:41Speaker 1: No?
- 2:41Speaker 3: No, no where in West Virginia, Bannet like, if he
- 2:45Speaker 3: doesn't get to come back and visit as often as.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I would like, what's he going there for?
- 2:50Speaker 3: He's living there to start a new chapter in his life,
- 2:54Speaker 3: him and his girlfriend. His girlfriend is from West Virginia,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and so they're going there to cost living is cheaper
- 3:01Speaker 3: and just you know, make a new plan in life
- 3:04Speaker 3: and get out of the nest.
- 3:06Speaker 2: How soon do you think you'll be flying out there
- 3:08Speaker 2: to see how things are going? Weeks?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Pretty soon?

- 3:26Speaker 4: Wow, memories. You know, it's very I'm so grateful that
- 3:30Speaker 4: you called and listen is very emotional. Thank you so
- 3:32Speaker 4: much for listening to us because you know, to be
- 3:34Speaker 4: there with us during the birth of our kids and
- 3:37Speaker 4: the death of our parents and all the all the
- 3:40Speaker 4: all the roller coaster ride.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You've been through it all. So that's very cool, Melinda.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Now I will tell you this, Thank God for iHeart
- 3:47Speaker 4: because your son he can listen to us. Although we
- 3:50Speaker 4: are not on in West Virginia never will be on
- 3:53Speaker 4: the app, the iHeart app. He can listen on the
- 3:56Speaker 4: app for free and you can listen. And so you guys,
- 3:59Speaker 4: actually can you listening at the same time together?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Still, Yeah, that's very true. That is very true. There's
- 4:05Speaker 1: that silver lining.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that is known for over the years. Jes half
- 4:12Speaker 2: glass full.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Thank you so much, half assful, half asked for sometimes
- 4:21Speaker 4: my goodness.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Thank you so much for calling in. That's so nice
- 4:24Speaker 2: of you.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Oh.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I appreciate you guys so much. And I you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: we just hope the best for him, and we hope
- 4:30Speaker 1: the best for y'all too.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I have a great day, Melinda. Thank you for listening
- 4:34Speaker 2: me too, guy. Guys so nice And you know what
- 4:36Speaker 2: it made me think of.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I saw this thing the other day and this is
- 4:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna signd the little disconnected from your cow, but
- 4:42Speaker 4: not really, because I saw this thing about you know
- 4:45Speaker 4: that thing about the last time you pick up your kids.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Every time I pick up my kids, I actually make
- 4:53Speaker 5: a point, like my daughter's eleven, there's no reason I
- 4:56Speaker 5: should be picking her up, but I do sometimes because
- 4:58Speaker 5: I'm like, there's never good to be last time.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Son just turned nine, yea, because I was like, I
- 5:05Speaker 4: heard that one of the times the last time to
- 5:07Speaker 4: pick up a kid is on six. I heard six,
- 5:09Speaker 4: is like that sounds right, And then and I'll go, oh,
- 5:12Speaker 4: I think Easton just turned seven. And then I was like, no, wait,
- 5:15Speaker 4: I think he turned nine. And then I was like,
- 5:17Speaker 4: at nine, I wonder if you're still trying to pick
- 5:19Speaker 4: him up.
- 5:20Speaker 5: I do. And actually it's funny because we joke about
- 5:23Speaker 5: because he's like getting heavy, you know, he's almost a team.
- 5:31Speaker 5: I tell him, I go, hey, when you're too big
- 5:35Speaker 5: for me to pick you up, are you gonna pick
- 5:37Speaker 5: me up and give me a pickback?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Cry?
- 5:39Speaker 5: What are we going to do?
- 5:40Speaker 4: It's not funny. My son Jake tries to pick me
- 5:43Speaker 4: up all the time, and it hurts. It hurts me.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I'm like, no, stop, stop, stop.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so I do. I do that on purpose because
- 5:49Speaker 5: I don't want it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: To be the last day. I was so sad. How
- 5:51Speaker 2: was he when he turned nine? He was pretty great.
- 5:55Speaker 2: He's been awesome, he was.
- 5:57Speaker 5: It's so funny because you know how we have We
- 5:59Speaker 5: have a sleep of war right now, my husband and
- 6:00Speaker 5: I But not because we don't like each other. It's
- 6:03Speaker 5: because we have a new puppy and the new puppy
- 6:04Speaker 5: doesn't get along with our current dog, and so we're
- 6:06Speaker 5: sleeping in separate rooms. And because the kids love the
- 6:09Speaker 5: dog so much, the kids have taken turns sleeping with
- 6:12Speaker 5: me and Poppy.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And it was the eve.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Of Easton's ninth birthday, and he was like, well, it's
- 6:18Speaker 5: going to be my birthday, so it's my turn, right,
- 6:20Speaker 5: And I was like obviously. And that night was probably
- 6:23Speaker 5: the worst night sleep I maybe have ever had in
- 6:25Speaker 5: my entire life. I could count on like one hand
- 6:28Speaker 5: the worst nights of sleep ever, and that was one
- 6:30Speaker 5: of them. And it was because he was so excited
- 6:33Speaker 5: about his birthday. He woke about He woke up about
- 6:35Speaker 5: like eighty five times. Mom, what time is it?
- 6:39Speaker 2: Mam? I need to go to the bathroom.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Mom, is it is it morning yet?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Dude? Look outside, stork goovet. But he was still he
- 6:45Speaker 2: already had a party.
- 6:46Speaker 5: He already has birthday parties. Was just a normal day
- 6:49Speaker 5: and yeah, and Easton's very like, he's very specific, like
- 6:53Speaker 5: even the day before, if we said he's nine, he's
- 6:56Speaker 5: not nine yet, He's not nine until tomorrow at seven
- 6:59Speaker 5: fifty nine, because that's like on his birth certificate when
- 7:02Speaker 5: he was born blinds nine. Right, we set an alarm
- 7:09Speaker 5: on my phone for seven fifty nine and we did
- 7:12Speaker 5: like a New Year's Eve countdown style.
- 7:15Speaker 4: No, it were.
- 7:18Speaker 5: So he was very excited and it was adorable, but
- 7:21Speaker 5: I was exhausted because he didn't let me sleep.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You're still going to pick him up and I will
- 7:24Speaker 2: as long as I can. Is your sign up sheet
- 7:26Speaker 2: for this?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Uh?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Taking turns of poppy? No?
- 7:31Speaker 4: No, he's so funny to put that outside your door,
- 7:36Speaker 4: east and then real big red letters change it Thursday night.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's d rich
