Saturday, 25 April 2026 They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” Matthew 19:7 “They say to Him, ‘Therefore, why he did enjoin, Moses, to give a divorce scroll to dismiss her?’” (CG) In the previous verse, Jesus, having cited Scripture to justify His conclusion, said that what God has joined, man should not separate.
