- 1:33Speaker 1: got you and returning after a stunning first appearance, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 1: actually second appearance on the show, but first sperience talk
- 1:42Speaker 1: about X Men. People were really surprised that this man
- 1:45Speaker 1: is even a geek. They just don't know the legend. Wano,
- 1:48Speaker 1: please reintroduce yourself.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Oh man, Well, let me tell you what. I'm intimidated
- 1:53Speaker 5: now by your akas. I'm extremely intimidated because I was
- 1:56Speaker 5: intimidated last time. I only had one AKA Wayno Aka
- 2:01Speaker 5: King Trenada.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I mean that's I'm.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Only AKA I'm for the next time because y'all not
- 2:07Speaker 5: gonna keep showing me up every time you got Ben
- 2:11Speaker 5: you got like seven.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I've got a mother list right here. Man. You gotta
- 2:17Speaker 1: have your notes, you know what I mean.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Don't worry. I'm working work.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I just add to them as they come to me.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That's all you do. You know, you get your notesapp
- 2:24Speaker 1: and just start writing them in there.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I got you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yep.
- 2:28Speaker 2: But we are here.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Thank you Wayne, Oh, thank you Porsch for joining us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: We are here to discuss the latest episode of X
- 2:34Speaker 1: Men ninety seven, entitled Danger Execute. You know, Danger Push,
- 2:41Speaker 1: Let's go danger on all that good stuff. Wayno. Since
- 2:44Speaker 1: your returning guests, what did you think of this episode? Overall.
- 2:48Speaker 5: So I'm not gonna sit here and act like I
- 2:50Speaker 5: was an expert in pularist. I wasn't really familiar with
- 2:54Speaker 5: her game. But you know, seeing this episode, Magneto got
- 3:00Speaker 5: to be the biggest deadbeat dad out here in that
- 3:03Speaker 5: in the Marvel. In the Marvel, uh, I'll say animation continuity.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure they're gonna adapt that in real life.
- 3:11Speaker 5: But damn, Magneto got all these kids out here just
- 3:14Speaker 5: running around that he has absolutely no relationships with. That
- 3:17Speaker 5: was the first thought. I'm like, damn, another kid. I
- 3:20Speaker 5: remember that that Chris Rock dreams.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Not a cat, Not a cat.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We gave you one kid another right.
- 3:30Speaker 5: So, I mean the episode kind of threw me for
- 3:33Speaker 5: a loop in the beginning, right because Professor X deliberately
- 3:37Speaker 5: kept living over that last moment of Magneto, right, and
- 3:41Speaker 5: it seemed as if he was, like he said, he
- 3:43Speaker 5: was trying to adapt and get better. And I was like, damn,
- 3:45Speaker 5: why would you put yourself through like the one of
- 3:47Speaker 5: your most traumatic experiences in your life, losing your friend.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But I understood that Professor X.
- 3:54Speaker 5: When he's doing something like that, it's a bigger picture, right,
- 3:57Speaker 5: Like it's a bigger picture, they still got to deal
- 3:58Speaker 5: with a popualypse.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I know we died.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I heard it from the last episode. I wasn't for
- 4:01Speaker 5: I wasn't here for the last episode. I know you
- 4:03Speaker 5: guys that it seems like we're back on course because
- 4:06Speaker 5: at first I was like, what's going on? But then
- 4:09Speaker 5: as and what is the danger room's name again?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Danger?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Danger? Okay, so the dangeroms name.
- 4:16Speaker 5: As she kept referring to survival the fitness and only
- 4:20Speaker 5: the strong survive, I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, your men,
- 4:23Speaker 5: your Men Apocalypse is sending the ops, you know what
- 4:26Speaker 5: I mean. He's putting in that programing, he's infiltrating, and
- 4:30Speaker 5: he's getting that the X Men. And I felt like
- 4:34Speaker 5: it ended well. I know we're going to go through everything.
- 4:35Speaker 5: I don't want to just like it right now, but like,
- 4:38Speaker 5: I like this episode. The last episode was like, man,
- 4:41Speaker 5: I didn't like the fact that they're trying to run
- 4:43Speaker 5: the narratives like now that when an episode doesn't meet
- 4:45Speaker 5: the standards of the last it's like the worst, right, Like, oh,
- 4:49Speaker 5: the worst episode of the season. It's like that shit
- 4:51Speaker 5: is corny, right, Can we just enjoy ourselves? But I
- 4:54Speaker 5: really enjoyed this episode.
- 4:55Speaker 1: We got a lot of comments about last week's episode,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but someone loved the common saying this is the worst
- 5:00Speaker 1: episode ever and rip to X Men ninety seven.
- 5:04Speaker 5: People are doing a whole hit pieces on it. I've
- 5:06Speaker 5: seen it online like.
- 5:07Speaker 1: They're doing like our ip because of one episode you
- 5:11Speaker 1: didn't like that, honestly, it's one of like I had
- 5:14Speaker 1: to rewatched the last week's episode, but when I watched
- 5:16Speaker 1: it twice, I thought it was one of my favorite
- 5:17Speaker 1: episodes of the season.
- 5:18Speaker 2: But I rewatched it too. I liked it as well.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's it's you know, and I had a
- 5:23Speaker 1: whole video discussing about Morph and Wolverine's relationship and I
- 5:27Speaker 1: just thought that was fire as hell. You know, So
- 5:29Speaker 1: Wortia and we'll discuss more on that because I know
- 5:33Speaker 1: we had some thoughts. What did you think of this
- 5:39Speaker 1: week's episode?
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so I caught up like overnight basically, so like
- 5:45Speaker 3: everything is all flowing into one and I'm seeing like
- 5:47Speaker 3: how everything kind of like.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Did you doctory to get here?
- 5:50Speaker 3: One of the things I enjoyed the most is how
- 5:53Speaker 3: the last episode was kind of an homage to the thing.
- 5:57Speaker 3: It's not the movie that came out it was like
- 5:58Speaker 3: an alien at the base to wisit or whatever? This
- 6:02Speaker 3: one the danger ended up being like Predator, And so
- 6:06Speaker 3: how that's timely to ninety seven, Like both of those
- 6:10Speaker 3: movies came out way like way ahead of ninety seven,
- 6:13Speaker 3: and so those are good references for this time period
- 6:16Speaker 3: for the X Men. I like that continuity of the
- 6:19Speaker 3: storytelling device. And I love horror movies anyway, So like
- 6:22Speaker 3: this was just like a really great way to pull
- 6:24Speaker 3: that together. I always have a predilection for pe named people,
- 6:28Speaker 3: So Polarius was really interesting to me. And like Reno said,
- 6:33Speaker 3: like getting to the dead dead bedication of Magneto, like
- 6:39Speaker 3: the way that this man Papa is a rolling stone,
- 6:42Speaker 3: like that is not it's an understatement for Magneto. And
- 6:46Speaker 3: the way that like we see his relationship with Xavier
- 6:53Speaker 3: being like the key relationship of their lives for each other,
- 6:57Speaker 3: Like that's reciprocal, and I just think that's interesting, Like
- 7:00Speaker 3: that's where he a lot of his energy is put
- 7:02Speaker 3: towards and the cause.
- 7:04Speaker 4: But like with his kids, m not so much, not
- 7:08Speaker 4: so much.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I'm just happy that for once for calling a white
- 7:11Speaker 1: man and dead beat dad instead of you know, we
- 7:15Speaker 1: have been getting I have been getting attacked for calling
- 7:19Speaker 1: Corlis to dead beat dad on Castle Black every week,
- 7:23Speaker 1: and so finally, like I said, I'm an equal opportunity
- 7:26Speaker 1: and Madnito is definitely Wait, I'm trying to think, is
- 7:29Speaker 1: there a more deadbeat dad in Marvel and comics.
- 7:34Speaker 2: More film starlo is dad?
- 7:38Speaker 1: But see he only got one?
- 7:39Speaker 2: You know you got one? But but and we know
- 7:42Speaker 2: for killed a mom.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yeah, multiple kids across the universe, a lot of.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Right here Magneto, we know for a fact he has
- 7:51Speaker 5: a minimum of two baby mothers, right, this is something
- 7:54Speaker 5: that's confirmed. Quick Silver and Scarlet wish they got this
- 8:00Speaker 5: same moms. Yeah, but last got the different moms. And
- 8:02Speaker 5: we know that he used to mess with Roade like
- 8:04Speaker 5: it's it's a lot going on with Magneto. I ain't
- 8:07Speaker 5: gonna front that this the art of his his sex
- 8:10Speaker 5: life is crazy.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I didn't know that. I mean, find it out.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Like Portia said, you know, Charles Xavier had a photo
- 8:19Speaker 1: of him on his desk, you know where they're hugged
- 8:21Speaker 1: up pretty close. And I'm not okay, Like I did
- 8:24Speaker 1: make a whole video about Wolverine and Gambage relationship. But
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm definitely not one of those people who says that
- 8:29Speaker 1: Charles and Magnus have to have a sexual relationship. Yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I think that is one of the ones where it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: like I make jokes about it. Sure, you know, yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 1: why not. But I don't think. I think that there
- 8:43Speaker 1: is a more brotherly love, but it is a very
- 8:46Speaker 1: deep brotherly love, because it's so deep that Magnito will
- 8:49Speaker 1: ignore his own children over his love for Charles. So
- 8:53Speaker 1: you know, yeah, well, I mean that's what I'm saying.
- 8:58Speaker 1: His hat, right, you know that what's the difference, you
- 9:01Speaker 1: know sometimes like that is relationship love and hate. So
- 9:05Speaker 1: you know, he definitely has a strong relationship with him
- 9:08Speaker 1: and none with any of his kids. And I think
- 9:11Speaker 1: this is the first time on X Men, on the
- 9:13Speaker 1: cartoon that they confirmed that Polaris was his daughter. So
- 9:17Speaker 1: I thought that was very dope and you know, also
- 9:20Speaker 1: kind of sad that. Yeah, my man's trifling as usual,
- 9:23Speaker 1: Like you know, he been out there. I mean, he
- 9:25Speaker 1: got game. You know, you can't really hold a man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, like he's out here just like.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Come on, man, he can bring he can bring a
- 9:31Speaker 2: lady anything.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Right, It's like you want to safe, like.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Who you want me?
- 9:37Speaker 5: You want like you want an AP that's nothing like
- 9:44Speaker 5: I wonder I want to remember how Future said he
- 9:46Speaker 5: had identifies his ladies. I wonder how Magneto identifies his
- 9:51Speaker 5: I wonder how identifies his ladies.
- 9:54Speaker 1: But if you Coulture identifies him by some baggy ball by.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Aps, by buying the aps, if she does not have.
- 9:59Speaker 1: An APP, that Friday is not mine.
- 10:01Speaker 2: That's what huge you said.
- 10:02Speaker 5: So could you could you imagine what Magneto made it
- 10:06Speaker 5: said if he was listening in the future on a
- 10:07Speaker 5: Friday night.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Definitely he's hitting him like Yo, Jean got platinum from
- 10:12Speaker 1: the center to the Earth. You know, vibraniums, vibranium and
- 10:18Speaker 1: animanium which all you know, whatever you want, whatever you like,
- 10:24Speaker 1: vibranium door knakas you got it. So yeah, we did
- 10:30Speaker 1: have you know, Polaris and learning about her, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: relationship with her father. I also, really, I mean super
- 10:38Speaker 1: loved the kids being introduced in this episode because it
- 10:42Speaker 1: was a lot of kids from different generations in the
- 10:44Speaker 1: comic books, like some of them are from the comic
- 10:47Speaker 1: book Generation X. Some of them are from Grant Morrison's run.
- 10:51Speaker 1: When Grant Morrison wrote X Men, it was called new
- 10:54Speaker 1: x men. I got a list of them here. The
- 10:57Speaker 1: ones that I could identify were Quentin Choir, who's the
- 11:00Speaker 1: little pink haired kid. He's a psychic skin the gray
- 11:03Speaker 1: haired boy, Glob Herman, who is that clear dude. You
- 11:07Speaker 1: can see his eyes and it's yeah, pink, He's pink.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That's Glob. Pixie is the little shorty with the pixie wings.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Rock Slide is the big rock dude. I'm not sure
- 11:17Speaker 1: who the little braided black boy is who had corn rows.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Someone out there can help me out. Sink is the
- 11:23Speaker 1: other black kid who had on the colored shirt and
- 11:26Speaker 1: you see him using his power as Sink is super
- 11:29Speaker 1: dope character. He can imitate any other mutant's power and
- 11:32Speaker 1: he had a crazy run recently. And that's men. Dupe
- 11:36Speaker 1: is that green glob looking thing. Dupe is super weird.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That's all I can tell you about. People love them.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I don't know enough about him. Bird Boy Dust is
- 11:46Speaker 1: the woman, the Muslim woman in the All Black Shark
- 11:49Speaker 1: Girls the Shark girl. Eyeboy is the kid with all
- 11:52Speaker 1: the eyes, and Chamber is the dude whose mouth is
- 11:56Speaker 1: a fire. Okay, yeah, it was definitely a random assemblage
- 12:02Speaker 1: of mutants right there. But it's some from like a
- 12:05Speaker 1: lot of different eras, so a lot of different fans
- 12:07Speaker 1: of the comics. You know, this was like their moment
- 12:09Speaker 1: to see these people. Like Quentin Choir is one of
- 12:12Speaker 1: my favorite mutants. He's wearing the actual Magneto was right
- 12:16Speaker 1: shirt that he wears in the comics after Magnito dies
- 12:19Speaker 1: in the comics. So we're seeing that and that leads
- 12:22Speaker 1: to Quinton actually causing a rebellion at the school. He
- 12:25Speaker 1: calls the riot at the Xaviers and that was like
- 12:28Speaker 1: a whole arc of the story because he believes Magnito
- 12:31Speaker 1: is right, and you know, fuck Professor Hadson what he's
- 12:33Speaker 1: talking about. So he gets pretty wild with him, and
- 12:36Speaker 1: he's Anna Maga level mutant himself. He's super powerful psychic.
- 12:39Speaker 1: What else did Jon joy about this one?
- 12:41Speaker 2: To the resurrection of Gambit? Hm hmm the resurrection.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Yeah, resurrection of Gambit was like, because I'm gonna keep
- 12:49Speaker 5: it a hunt, Like the Remember episode is my favorite
- 12:53Speaker 5: episode of last season. I've probably watched that episode more
- 12:57Speaker 5: than any of episode, especially like Gambit has always been
- 13:01Speaker 5: like a fan favorite, especially when X Men versus Street
- 13:04Speaker 5: Fighter came out for me back in the nineties, you
- 13:06Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. So, and also you know that
- 13:09Speaker 5: the real life adaptation with Chanitatum. I like Janitatum's Gambit,
- 13:14Speaker 5: so seeing how they you know, portray Gambit on ninety
- 13:17Speaker 5: seven was really dope. And I was upset that he passed,
- 13:20Speaker 5: you know what I mean so early and the way
- 13:21Speaker 5: he did. But it was like the dopest death possibly
- 13:24Speaker 5: and almost any Marvel Low television wise, but seeing him
- 13:29Speaker 5: resurrected as a horseman, I'm like, oh man, and then
- 13:31Speaker 5: he popped up with the smirk on his face like yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 5: Like I was like, oh, this is going to be interesting.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Rogue is about to go through another traumatic experience, like
- 13:40Speaker 5: you lose the man that you love and now he
- 13:42Speaker 5: comes back and he's trying to harm you, kind of
- 13:44Speaker 5: like you know what Kunglaud did and Mortal Kombat too,
- 13:46Speaker 5: that trash ass movie. But I know every time I'm
- 13:50Speaker 5: on here, I gotta throw Mortal Kombat two shot fide.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Note I watched it after you were on here. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I do not disagree.
- 13:58Speaker 2: It's pretty bad. I mean, who Can't Come Down Fight
- 14:02Speaker 2: was good?
- 14:02Speaker 5: Yeah, movie was overall bad, but yes, yeah, I'm looking
- 14:06Speaker 5: forward to seeing how you know, and who else is
- 14:09Speaker 5: going to be a horseman?
- 14:10Speaker 2: Who else is going to be a horseman?
- 14:11Speaker 5: But seeing Gambit as like potentially the number one guy
- 14:15Speaker 5: on Apocalypse's team ship by to get Rud.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Now, I've been going with the theory that Magnito is
- 14:21Speaker 1: not dead and Magnito will be the other horseman that
- 14:24Speaker 1: we see. I'm not so convinced on that theory anymore
- 14:27Speaker 1: after this episode. I had to say, because it felt like,
- 14:31Speaker 1: you know, when you see professors reliving that whenever you
- 14:34Speaker 1: see somebody like reliving somebody's death over and over again,
- 14:37Speaker 1: it's like, damn, are they going to really bring him
- 14:39Speaker 1: back after all that? But it's also Magneto, you know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and it's like you got his kids out here, you
- 14:45Speaker 1: got Rogue out here, you got Professor z out here.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You know, all these people are missing they man, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, I feel like I still say that when
- 14:56Speaker 1: Apocalypse shoots him, you know, you don't see the body,
- 14:59Speaker 1: and that formation of a gun he uses is something
- 15:02Speaker 1: completely different than we saw before.
- 15:05Speaker 2: But did he have viscertum like pus? I want to
- 15:07Speaker 2: know what you think because and you.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Just haven't washed this all through, Porsche. How do you,
- 15:11Speaker 1: what do you think.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I feel like it's comics. It's hard now, the fact
- 15:17Speaker 4: that you could.
- 15:17Speaker 2: See his.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Insides come apart. I Magnito's not known for he doesn't
- 15:28Speaker 3: have Wolverine's power.
- 15:31Speaker 4: So I don't know what we're the I don't know.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I do before we move off of Gambit, I do
- 15:37Speaker 3: want tomote that the visual of Gambits cards going from
- 15:42Speaker 3: playing cards six harrow cards and we get a screen
- 15:47Speaker 3: like a moment where it's like a three card spread
- 15:49Speaker 3: and it is the first card is death, the second
- 15:53Speaker 3: card is the tower, the third card is the lover's
- 15:56Speaker 3: and the three card spread is usually a past present
- 15:59Speaker 3: feature or basically the initiation, the obstacle, and like the
- 16:05Speaker 3: lesson that you're gonna learn at the end. Basically it's
- 16:07Speaker 3: gonna it's one of those three.
- 16:09Speaker 2: So if death is.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Like the end of a cycle, is something's changing, is transforming,
- 16:16Speaker 3: So Gambit is changed and he's transforming after his death of.
- 16:20Speaker 4: The tower is.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Like the there's a disaster on the on the break,
- 16:27Speaker 3: there's gonna be sudden upheaval. Things are like it's gonna
- 16:30Speaker 3: be travesty coming soon. Then we know that you know
- 16:32Speaker 3: that that follows Apocalypse and then the lovers and like
- 16:37Speaker 3: the end, the outcome the future is duality, partnership, union.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Are people uniting with apocalypse? Are are of its Apocalypse
- 16:49Speaker 3: uniting with Professor X. This is all an illusion, like
- 16:52Speaker 3: directly to just Gambit and Rogue and Rogue is gonna
- 16:56Speaker 3: end up on apocalyps team.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Is like what are we?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Because like, that's the thing about tarot cars is that
- 17:02Speaker 3: they're not necessarily to give you an indication of what's
- 17:06Speaker 3: happening or predicting the future.
- 17:08Speaker 4: They're about telling you.
- 17:08Speaker 3: What you mean to know now to be prepare yourself
- 17:11Speaker 3: for what's to come. So what are we being told
- 17:14Speaker 3: to prepare ourselves for?
- 17:16Speaker 2: That's interesting?
- 17:18Speaker 5: I could really see I could really see Rogue defending
- 17:22Speaker 5: Gambit the same way Otron did in that Marvel Zombies
- 17:27Speaker 5: and what if hmm by he was hiding Wanda and
- 17:30Speaker 5: feeding her people and all of that. I could see
- 17:34Speaker 5: Rogue going that far and turning on the X men
- 17:36Speaker 5: for me, especially if she could touch him. Imagine if
- 17:39Speaker 5: now she can actually touch him because he's basically dead.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Got dark?
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean this is what I listen. Ain't like
- 17:48Speaker 2: they ain't been going dark. They even darkness whole Yo.
- 17:50Speaker 1: This last season, Jesus Christ. This episode, like I say,
- 17:53Speaker 1: opening on a man watching his best friend die over
- 17:57Speaker 1: and over again, is one of the darkest any show
- 18:01Speaker 1: that I think I've ever seen. A couple of things
- 18:05Speaker 1: that I want to say about the Gambit stuff. First
- 18:07Speaker 1: of all, Porsch, that's why we have you on this
- 18:08Speaker 1: fucking show. Thank you for that.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Like that the reason I was like, oh, she really
- 18:15Speaker 5: about to do it.
- 18:19Speaker 1: This is why you're the master. Also, right before when
- 18:24Speaker 1: we see Athens Grease in the Clouds and the Stars,
- 18:27Speaker 1: is Watu the Watcher? You see his form? Yeah? Yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I didn't peep that till I went to Reddit and
- 18:34Speaker 1: people are like, yo, he's in And then I went rewound.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'm like, oh ship right there. Yeah, And this is
- 18:39Speaker 1: like the second time I think he was there above
- 18:41Speaker 1: Janosha when Janosha gets destroyed in the stars saying it's
- 18:45Speaker 1: the same thing like that. So he's there above Gambit.
- 18:48Speaker 1: So this is a momentous moment. And then I gotta
- 18:52Speaker 1: talk about Apocalypse because look, I mean, first of all,
- 18:55Speaker 1: the ant line, you know, all that. Getting to relive
- 18:58Speaker 1: that was amazing because it's just some the best dialogue ever,
- 19:01Speaker 1: but this Negro saying more power and then pushing the
- 19:06Speaker 1: lever of himself.
- 19:11Speaker 4: He's just talking himself.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Through his motions.
- 19:12Speaker 3: He's like, I have no minions, but I I gotta talk.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I talk, I have minions.
- 19:19Speaker 2: More power like his electric bill about to be highest.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I say, you know, I keep telling people X Men
- 19:27Speaker 1: has always been you know, in somewhere shape or form,
- 19:30Speaker 1: super queer and your man Apocalypse is the biggest drama
- 19:34Speaker 1: queen I've ever seen. He's his own ego, his own
- 19:41Speaker 1: egor more power turned it up himself.
- 19:47Speaker 2: That was crazy because because who he asked for? Bro,
- 19:53Speaker 2: you have the keys to the to the whip, like.
- 19:55Speaker 3: With everything, like nobody else here.
- 20:00Speaker 4: As to yourself, Like what are we doing now?
- 20:02Speaker 5: Who you passing as crazy?
- 20:08Speaker 4: But like I also want to note, like how hew.
- 20:11Speaker 3: It's just funny because when we had Tahoe when he
- 20:15Speaker 3: said He's like, oh, I think that there's I'm like
- 20:18Speaker 3: that the apocalypse is literally on some like I don't
- 20:20Speaker 3: know which the next thing I want to give it to.
- 20:22Speaker 4: But it's kind of it is kind of scorpial.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Behavior where he the first person, like it's petty because
- 20:29Speaker 3: the first person you're going to bring into like you're
- 20:32Speaker 3: going you go to ninety seven and you're the first
- 20:35Speaker 3: person you're going to bring up as one of the
- 20:38Speaker 3: like heralds of the apocalypse is Remy who you like
- 20:43Speaker 3: you had a fireside chat with Rogue and she said,
- 20:47Speaker 3: I lost someone I loved.
- 20:49Speaker 4: You know, it's you know exactly who you're going for.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And the last thing Rogue said to him and that
- 20:55Speaker 3: chat was I hope one day you can feel something similar.
- 20:58Speaker 1: So this is this is what you do, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 1: and then you want to talk petty. This nigga waited
- 21:03Speaker 1: thousands of years for this.
- 21:07Speaker 5: This is this really reminds me of like when when
- 21:11Speaker 5: Murder went and tried to get nas that helped him out,
- 21:13Speaker 5: Like damn you gonna go get from years later, years later.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Go wow, this nigga sat there that like you said,
- 21:27Speaker 1: the fireside chap is like word wrong word, And then
- 21:30Speaker 1: thousands of years later it was like you know what
- 21:34Speaker 1: it's about that time.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Full petty? More power? Can we I mean, is it
- 21:42Speaker 2: any way possible?
- 21:43Speaker 5: Because his the thing right, Like we think about the
- 21:46Speaker 5: difference between everything else and marble. Like I said before,
- 21:49Speaker 5: like with time is so complicated and with everybody.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Else in with X Men.
- 21:53Speaker 5: They they go, they go on vacations. Bishop just be
- 21:57Speaker 5: jumping wherever he want to go, whatever he feel like. Right,
- 22:00Speaker 5: But I want to know between the gap of you know,
- 22:05Speaker 5: Egyptian times and all of that, and now, what the
- 22:08Speaker 5: hell was Apocalypse doing this whole time?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Like what was going on this whole time where.
- 22:13Speaker 5: It also took them because Professor X is like, what
- 22:16Speaker 5: like seventy years old?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Well, how old is he? An X Men? Ninety seventy?
- 22:19Speaker 5: He got to be at least like, well if the.
- 22:22Speaker 3: World War two is nineteen forty five, is into that?
- 22:25Speaker 3: And he like he and Eric are they were teenagers
- 22:31Speaker 3: run time nineteen forty five, So he's he's at.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Least fifty, he's probably sixty sixty sixty.
- 22:42Speaker 5: He seen Will Chamberlain's turn to point game, right, Okay, cool,
- 22:47Speaker 5: So this whole time, right, like you knew shit was
- 22:50Speaker 5: going on. I mean, we didn't know what was going
- 22:53Speaker 5: on in Egypt, but what was Apocalypse doing?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Like was he just chilling?
- 22:56Speaker 5: I know that he has to transfer bodies and all
- 22:58Speaker 5: this other egion?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Now, Okay, I would love to see like the fourth
- 23:03Speaker 1: Gump episode of Apocalypse show where he's been throughout the ages,
- 23:07Speaker 1: and then one other thing that we might see. You know,
- 23:12Speaker 1: this will probably a few seasons on the line. There
- 23:14Speaker 1: were a couple of like they've been hinting at it
- 23:17Speaker 1: and dropping Easter Edge more so than anything. But like
- 23:21Speaker 1: one of the characters in this episode, Eye Boy, the
- 23:23Speaker 1: boy with all the eyes, is wearing a sweater that
- 23:26Speaker 1: on the sweater's jackets are co Cohen letters. And Kakoa
- 23:30Speaker 1: is this era of X Men that comes later on.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's pretty recent. It happened like four or five years
- 23:36Speaker 1: ago when the X Men all go to live on
- 23:38Speaker 1: a living mutant island named Cocoa and establish their own
- 23:41Speaker 1: relationship and their own civilization, their own language, all kinds
- 23:46Speaker 1: of stuff. And Krakoa is a wild ass era. It's
- 23:49Speaker 1: part of when I was talking about when it's established
- 23:51Speaker 1: that Cyclopto wal Rain and Jean Gray are in a crupple,
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know, that's when are just fucking left and right
- 23:56Speaker 1: on Croa. It's like everything's going down. And so what's
- 24:00Speaker 1: really ill about Kacoa is it gives you a history
- 24:04Speaker 1: of what Professor X and a lot of the mutants
- 24:07Speaker 1: were doing in those years, and it turns out that
- 24:11Speaker 1: a lot of them were like working together or were
- 24:13Speaker 1: like they all knew of each other basically because they
- 24:17Speaker 1: were like in the Kokoa era. They get a vision
- 24:19Speaker 1: of the future basically, and so they start plotting shit
- 24:22Speaker 1: out from when they were young. So Apocalypse knows the
- 24:25Speaker 1: Professor X they Magneto obviously knows the Professor at save
- 24:29Speaker 1: all then, and so there's definitely been interactions with them
- 24:32Speaker 1: throughout the past. But Apocalypse is also one of them
- 24:35Speaker 1: dudes who just sits back and waits for his time.
- 24:38Speaker 1: When he's like, oh, okay, now it's time, Like I said, Petty, time,
- 24:41Speaker 1: you know what I mean, more power, time to go on,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you know, time to go hand. Like these niggas are
- 24:46Speaker 1: built up enough because he's part of the celestial thing.
- 24:48Speaker 1: It's just like you know when you saw eternals, like
- 24:50Speaker 1: Earth goes grows and then it's time to be tested,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and that's when Apocalypse comes in. I'm here to test
- 24:56Speaker 1: you mutants. Make y'all ready stronger for the future, because
- 25:00Speaker 1: like we're talking about before wayt know, you know, it's
- 25:01Speaker 1: like there's always a bigger threat. And that was another
- 25:03Speaker 1: dope thing in this episode that was a shoutout to
- 25:06Speaker 1: Kokola was danger and how Bishop says it another you know,
- 25:11Speaker 1: mutant killing machine. It's always about intelligent machines. That's the
- 25:14Speaker 1: ultimate enemy of mutants. It's not humans, it's not other mutants,
- 25:19Speaker 1: it's the machines. And that you see that at the
- 25:21Speaker 1: beginning of ed s mend every week mutants running against mutants,
- 25:24Speaker 1: and the sentinels are always prumbing. So danger is just
- 25:28Speaker 1: another representation of that. So that was really dope to see.
- 25:31Speaker 5: So basically, I mean, we all got the same problems
- 25:34Speaker 5: because sky that is coming for us right now, right.
- 25:37Speaker 1: And that's and that you know, it relates to what
- 25:39Speaker 1: is happening right now. And when Kurcoa launched, that was
- 25:42Speaker 1: like five six, seven years ago, and Jonathan Hitman, you know,
- 25:46Speaker 1: one of the most brilliant writers ever, he launched it,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and so he was thinking of all this. You know,
- 25:50Speaker 1: he knew that AI was to become an even bigger problem,
- 25:53Speaker 1: you know, in our own reality. So that's what he
- 25:55Speaker 1: was talking about. And that was like the ultimate message
- 25:57Speaker 1: of Crocola was that humans and mutants needed to figure
- 25:59Speaker 1: out because eventually the machines would kill y'all all no
- 26:02Speaker 1: matter what. So I thought that was really dope how
- 26:05Speaker 1: they tied danger into that, because danger in the comments
- 26:08Speaker 1: trumps from a whole other era where the writer Josh
- 26:12Speaker 1: Whedon was writing it, and people are already there's to
- 26:15Speaker 1: be a million think pieces and hit pieces because Josh
- 26:18Speaker 1: Whedon's been as communicated out of Hollywood for like five
- 26:21Speaker 1: six years now, and some people are like, oh, why
- 26:23Speaker 1: are you using it? You know it's like playing on
- 26:25Speaker 1: R Kelly song or something, but yeah, and it's crazy.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I was just on YouTube. I saw DJ had R
- 26:31Speaker 1: Kelly versus Robert Kelly and he just put that shit
- 26:34Speaker 1: out like six months ago, almost half a million views,
- 26:38Speaker 1: like you know, still works. Yeah. So yeah, on.
- 26:44Speaker 3: The notes about the machines, I wanted to note that,
- 26:48Speaker 3: like because wait, know, in the mating you kind of
- 26:50Speaker 3: said that like this is apocalypse at play, but for
- 26:53Speaker 3: me it was it's because it's OKAYI it is.
- 26:58Speaker 4: It's of its own making. It's yeah making, So like
- 27:01Speaker 4: the Danger Room.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Is, that's that's it's coded apocalypse. Because Xavier kept masochistically
- 27:08Speaker 3: going over and over and over and over that memory again,
- 27:12Speaker 3: so it only knows as much about apocalypse as Xavier
- 27:15Speaker 3: knows about apocalypse because he Apocalypse, and so that's it's
- 27:22Speaker 3: like it's it's going beyond its command to like override,
- 27:26Speaker 3: become its own form and then go and confront Exavier
- 27:30Speaker 3: outside of the room itself. But it's still doing the
- 27:33Speaker 3: thing the primary code, I guess, if you want to say,
- 27:35Speaker 3: of like preparing the new ends for the.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Next big problem.
- 27:41Speaker 3: And I think that's what it like we if you
- 27:42Speaker 3: look at Apocalypse, like Apocalypse is literally the personification of
- 27:46Speaker 3: the Apocalypse, like he is the end. He is the
- 27:49Speaker 3: herald of the end, like in the way that Silver
- 27:51Speaker 3: Surfer is the herald of the end in some ways, right,
- 27:53Speaker 3: So I think it's interesting that like the biggest antagonist of.
- 27:59Speaker 4: This episode is the person of is.
- 28:02Speaker 3: The Ai, the robot of the Sins of the Father,
- 28:07Speaker 3: like Exavior in the End is the one who puts
- 28:11Speaker 3: all the people everyone in peril because he couldn't get
- 28:14Speaker 3: over the fact that he had to keep playing out
- 28:17Speaker 3: this challenge and try to make some kind of peace
- 28:20Speaker 3: with his grief. In some way, if he could have
- 28:22Speaker 3: gone past that, he wouldn't have put his own charges
- 28:26Speaker 3: in danger.
- 28:27Speaker 4: But that's his fatal flaws.
- 28:28Speaker 3: He's always gonna put the people he's like serving or
- 28:31Speaker 3: he's protecting that he's trying to show how to live life.
- 28:34Speaker 3: He's always going to put them in danger because he's
- 28:35Speaker 3: gonna always see them as the means to end the danger.
- 28:39Speaker 3: So it's going to be a cycle. It's never going
- 28:41Speaker 3: to end. And so polaris taking the robot out. I
- 28:46Speaker 3: think that's like that's also supposed to be like symbolic.
- 28:49Speaker 3: It's supposed to be such cyclical, with like her representing
- 28:53Speaker 3: Magneto's power and Exavier being the one that has to
- 28:57Speaker 3: like he feels like he has to push, he has
- 28:59Speaker 3: to find Magneto, and the ultimate test is this robot.
- 29:03Speaker 3: So I feel like there's multiple layers of sense of
- 29:05Speaker 3: the Father, from like Magneto's dead biddism to like Exavier
- 29:09Speaker 3: and how he puts everyone in danger. But like this
- 29:11Speaker 3: episode especially gives me that, but I think the whole
- 29:13Speaker 3: season kind of does as well.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And it's also interesting because that's a better way I
- 29:18Speaker 1: felt then. The way they did it with Danger is
- 29:21Speaker 1: introducing the comics is similar, like Danger is the living
- 29:24Speaker 1: embodiment of the Danger Room, but Danger in the comics,
- 29:28Speaker 1: Professor Xavier realizes that the Danger Room is sentient and
- 29:32Speaker 1: because he's like, well, I need this, he keeps it
- 29:35Speaker 1: locked down, and so it stays locked down as the
- 29:38Speaker 1: Danger Room until finally it breaks free and you know,
- 29:41Speaker 1: becomes danger And so it's once again as Professor X
- 29:44Speaker 1: being slightly like the means justify the ends. And that's
- 29:49Speaker 1: where a lot of people get into where is professor
- 29:51Speaker 1: it's a good dude or not? And it often comes
- 29:54Speaker 1: up that dancers, No, he just gives.
- 29:57Speaker 2: He just gives everybody the benefit of the doubts you
- 29:59Speaker 2: that much.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's also like he'll do what needs to
- 30:02Speaker 1: be done when it's like without you know, worrying about
- 30:06Speaker 1: someone else like that.
- 30:07Speaker 3: That's a decision without and consulting someone else to make
- 30:10Speaker 3: for somebody else.
- 30:12Speaker 5: That's like the you know what's crazy about that? That's
- 30:14Speaker 5: like the weakness of almost every Marvel superhero. That's like
- 30:17Speaker 5: the morally sound hmmm, die girl, Like everybody has that similarity, right, Like, oh,
- 30:22Speaker 5: I have to make the hard choice, even if the
- 30:24Speaker 5: hard choice is gonna like wipe out half of our team,
- 30:28Speaker 5: you know what I mean?
- 30:29Speaker 2: Like it's always they always doing some shit like that.
- 30:32Speaker 1: But see Professor X is sending kids into battle.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't care don't. He don't care about child
- 30:38Speaker 5: labelow us and nothing like he doesn't care, Like what
- 30:42Speaker 5: are the certifications you need to be a mutant to
- 30:44Speaker 5: go into battle?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Right?
- 30:45Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:45Speaker 5: All right, there has to be some bylaws here, Like
- 30:47Speaker 5: it has to be something that's set up for you
- 30:49Speaker 5: to be able to engage in combat, even if you're
- 30:52Speaker 5: a powerful young mutant, right like like we got the
- 30:54Speaker 5: Sokovia Chords and all types of shit, right like what
- 30:58Speaker 5: are the laws that professor at sets forth? And this
- 31:02Speaker 5: is why the government always up his ass because like, yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 5: why is their fourteen.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Year old out here?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Rance? And you think we ain't.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Supposed to say nothing just because we're different from y'all.
- 31:11Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. It's like like what's good
- 31:13Speaker 2: with you?
- 31:14Speaker 3: Where's osha? Where's the workplace protection? Yeah, where's a little
- 31:18Speaker 3: like little.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Fish on them?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Which rights they have as workers?
- 31:22Speaker 5: But you woner why because all the workers is all
- 31:25Speaker 5: the guidance counselors. They just make it up as they
- 31:27Speaker 5: go along, like they just doing ship as they call along.
- 31:30Speaker 1: They leave Bishop, you know who's like immediately screaming on
- 31:33Speaker 1: these kids, has no experience for kids.
- 31:35Speaker 2: They leave, he said it he said. I get that.
- 31:38Speaker 5: He said, I learned this on the streets, Like what
- 31:41Speaker 5: likeright bro we even are not we know nothing about
- 31:45Speaker 5: gangsters in twenty ninety seven, Like he don't care and
- 31:51Speaker 5: he's always pulling out that damn gun, like he always
- 31:53Speaker 5: pull a gun out all the time.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Like Bishop's a cop. Like see, like people are gonna
- 31:58Speaker 1: once again, I'm gonna get a tacked because I'm dogging
- 32:00Speaker 1: a black man.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Bishop Jay read Man, Bishop is Jay read There's gotta
- 32:07Speaker 5: be an undercover Bishop story out there, so where Bishop
- 32:10Speaker 5: is definitely.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Because like Polaris said, like word, that's your first, that's
- 32:20Speaker 1: your first you know idea. It feels like a cop
- 32:23Speaker 1: to me, Like.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Polaris is like her trajectory.
- 32:27Speaker 3: I think her them touching on like we said again
- 32:31Speaker 3: the episode worth her?
- 32:33Speaker 4: Was it this episode or another one where she's.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Like there's the parents, like the ones who were like
- 32:39Speaker 3: basically the churchrified.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I forget who are eisode?
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah, she begainst the episode with like reacting to them
- 32:50Speaker 3: instinctually like they're trying to take me out. I'm gonna
- 32:52Speaker 3: take them out too, because like not like y'all telling
- 32:54Speaker 3: me to stand down, but they're literally trying to kill me,
- 32:57Speaker 3: y'all need to figure that out, and getting reprimanded and
- 33:00Speaker 3: fired for that, and I feel like that puts a
- 33:04Speaker 3: seed in her head where she's like, I'm not supposed
- 33:06Speaker 3: to react with lethal force and but the so she
- 33:10Speaker 3: had an opportunity to overpower Danger, not only in the
- 33:15Speaker 3: danger room, but like when they were out there in Genosha,
- 33:18Speaker 3: like she could have just went on and like took
- 33:20Speaker 3: Danger out before she like paused, she gave she gave
- 33:24Speaker 3: Danger a moment like stand down and like, girl, why
- 33:26Speaker 3: are you asking the robots to stand down?
- 33:28Speaker 5: Like?
- 33:28Speaker 3: And it's just like I think it's like a reflex
- 33:30Speaker 3: for her just being reprimanded for like not standing down
- 33:34Speaker 3: with humans. So I think it's interesting a character development
- 33:39Speaker 3: where she goes from being like like insinually like her
- 33:44Speaker 3: father quote unquote, I'm going to just take out the
- 33:47Speaker 3: issue and now, and then it takes Xavier's like trying
- 33:52Speaker 3: to pump her up, being like, no, you need to
- 33:53Speaker 3: follow your instinct. You need to go on and take
- 33:55Speaker 3: this thread out. I think it's just like it's a
- 33:57Speaker 3: weird like ping pong match of like she doesn't want
- 33:59Speaker 3: to be like her father, but she does also have
- 34:01Speaker 3: like people want her to embrace her father, so like
- 34:05Speaker 3: what is this for her? Like if you gonna always
- 34:08Speaker 3: be in this place where she's going back and forth,
- 34:09Speaker 3: like what is she doing?
- 34:11Speaker 1: No? And I think this was like moving more towards again,
- 34:14Speaker 1: like when in the Kracola era when she fully embraces
- 34:18Speaker 1: being Magnito's daughter, And that's what I really like that,
- 34:21Speaker 1: Like you said, like she initially is like, Okay, I
- 34:23Speaker 1: can do that, but then you know, you see the
- 34:25Speaker 1: reaction from the human world. You see the reaction from
- 34:27Speaker 1: other mutants where it's like, oh shit, Magnito's back, you know.
- 34:30Speaker 1: And the idea is that you know, everyone has this
- 34:33Speaker 1: you of Magnito where they see him from the outside,
- 34:35Speaker 1: but Charles knows him for the man that he is.
- 34:37Speaker 1: And Charles was like, no, this is a good dude,
- 34:40Speaker 1: you know who said I'm trying to be better. Like
- 34:42Speaker 1: every time that bring that line up, that shit just
- 34:44Speaker 1: hits so hard for me. And then when he's sitting
- 34:47Speaker 1: there with Leech and you know, he tells Leaps don't
- 34:49Speaker 1: be afraid in German, and then you know he had
- 34:51Speaker 1: to tell them later like I saw leechs to Cintegrade
- 34:55Speaker 1: in front of my eyes. So don't tell me, you
- 34:57Speaker 1: know that I need to hold back, Like no, nigga.
- 35:00Speaker 1: When I held back, these kids who I promise would
- 35:03Speaker 1: never see fear again die. So it's like Magnito's story
- 35:07Speaker 1: in polar I love that they're bringing Polaris in and
- 35:09Speaker 1: connecting her with him in such a way because they,
- 35:12Speaker 1: you know, having done it with Charlotte Witch or quit Silver,
- 35:15Speaker 1: and because she has the magnet powers and it's really
- 35:18Speaker 1: you know, like directly his daughter. I just love how
- 35:20Speaker 1: they're doing that, and like I said, that was great
- 35:23Speaker 1: here to work, you know, for her and the writers
- 35:26Speaker 1: of this episode like incredible stuff.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I like the fact that we have to wait
- 35:31Speaker 2: week by week to get this.
- 35:32Speaker 5: But yeah, also like health and suspense because I'm like, damn,
- 35:36Speaker 5: like I want to know what's happening tomorrow.
- 35:40Speaker 2: But I love the way that, Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 5: It gives you time to kind of digest and go
- 35:45Speaker 5: over things and to build that anticipation each week. Can
- 35:49Speaker 5: she end up being the unsung hero and all of
- 35:51Speaker 5: this right against Apocalypse against the Full Horsemen. I feel like,
- 35:56Speaker 5: you know, with her coming back into the mansion and
- 35:58Speaker 5: becoming a part of the team again, it shows that
- 36:01Speaker 5: the X Men we already knew. It was like forever developing.
- 36:04Speaker 5: I know, we had the Blue Team and the Gold
- 36:06Speaker 5: Team and comics. At one point it's like, are we
- 36:08Speaker 5: going to see that on the show?
- 36:10Speaker 2: Right?
- 36:10Speaker 5: Like are we going to see the factions? Because it
- 36:13Speaker 5: has to be some sort of level of hierarchy. And
- 36:16Speaker 5: then the growing mutants. You know, we got the young
- 36:19Speaker 5: ones that they're coming up, and like you said, you
- 36:21Speaker 5: alluded to some of the stuff in the arts that
- 36:23Speaker 5: they have, you know what I mean, comics, but and
- 36:26Speaker 5: they're saying that they're going to do X Men ninety
- 36:28Speaker 5: seven for the next ten years. So I mean it
- 36:31Speaker 5: looks as if we eat like it's thanks and in
- 36:33Speaker 5: the summertime, it's beautiful.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Because like I said, there's so many hints to stuff.
- 36:40Speaker 1: And then like in this episode, we get the establishment
- 36:42Speaker 1: of X Corps and the leather outfit jackets that they're
- 36:48Speaker 1: wearing dirty that era, that's all. All of that comes
- 36:51Speaker 1: from the Grant Morrison era, and Grant Morrison is actually
- 36:54Speaker 1: that's in the two thousands. Because I stopped reading X
- 36:56Speaker 1: Men in the mid nineties, and I just stopped for years.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I wasn't reading any comments and then my boys said,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you know, you got to read this new X Men
- 37:04Speaker 1: because Grant Morrison's writing it. And I already love Grant.
- 37:07Speaker 1: He's one of my They're one of my favorite writers,
- 37:10Speaker 1: and it's mind blowing what they did. Like to me,
- 37:13Speaker 1: the greatest runs in that men is Chris Claremont, you know,
- 37:16Speaker 1: the one that everybody knows and loves. Grant Morrison and
- 37:19Speaker 1: then Jonathan Hitman Night all three of them just do
- 37:21Speaker 1: so much work, and so ex Corps is defining that.
- 37:25Speaker 1: You know, when the X Men start establishing bases all
- 37:28Speaker 1: around the world, So we're gonna see some more of
- 37:30Speaker 1: that coming up. We're in the era of the Black Jackets.
- 37:34Speaker 1: And then they also have the scene when they're sitting
- 37:36Speaker 1: around the table, which is also like a hint towards
- 37:39Speaker 1: the future, because that's also what happens in Cocola. They
- 37:41Speaker 1: established this quiet counsel that sits around this table, and
- 37:45Speaker 1: that be I don't think so. I think Cocola is
- 37:48Speaker 1: still going to be gears down the line, like seasons away.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I think what we're building towards right now at the
- 37:54Speaker 1: end of this season is Apocalypse winning in some way,
- 37:57Speaker 1: shape or form, and a lot of nets and being
- 38:00Speaker 1: the Age of Apocalypse because that's a big part of
- 38:02Speaker 1: the nineties run when the when everything just gets warped
- 38:07Speaker 1: and we'll see his hand, Wolvering loses hands eye. Yeah,
- 38:12Speaker 1: it's everybody is completely flipped. And I think that's what
- 38:15Speaker 1: we're building towards.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Well.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I think, yeah, next week's episode is shit, we only
- 38:20Speaker 1: have two more?
- 38:21Speaker 2: Right, which episode is this? Six? Six? I think it's ten?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Is it ten episodes?
- 38:26Speaker 4: It was ten last season?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Oh no, there's three more. Nine strange took this next
- 38:32Speaker 1: week is about the Savage Land, and then eight is
- 38:36Speaker 1: the dead Man's Hand, which is probably Gambit, you know, yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 1: and then nine is Survival of the Fittest. Now Savage
- 38:45Speaker 1: Land to be interesting because there's the whole famous and
- 38:48Speaker 1: I don't think they've done that storyline when Magnito and
- 38:50Speaker 1: Rogue are hooking up in the Savage Land, Like, yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 1: that's when that's the famous nineties run when they first
- 38:57Speaker 1: when that idea was first introduced, Magna on the road,
- 39:01Speaker 1: you know, through various circumstances meeting the Savage Lane where
- 39:04Speaker 1: it's filled with dinosaurs and all that shit. So we
- 39:06Speaker 1: might see some of that next week and then dead
- 39:09Speaker 1: Man's hand will probably be Gambit. And in the ninth
- 39:11Speaker 1: episode is Survival of the Fittest, which is we all
- 39:15Speaker 1: know apocalypse. And so I feel like we're leading into
- 39:18Speaker 1: season three at least the beginning of it being the
- 39:20Speaker 1: age of Apocalypse.
- 39:21Speaker 5: So and he said coming back next year, right, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 5: they're not wasting time.
- 39:26Speaker 1: No, the two year weight was only because of the
- 39:28Speaker 1: writers strike and other stuff. Now they're like, you know,
- 39:30Speaker 1: per year, they want to have this show. They want
- 39:32Speaker 1: to Yeah, this Spider Man and Dareduvil to drop every year. Yeah, yep,
- 39:38Speaker 1: So we got much more coming. I'm hoping for some
- 39:41Speaker 1: spinoffs like you know, maybe the Kids, Generation X or
- 39:45Speaker 1: New Mutants. You know, there's a lot of different ways
- 39:47Speaker 1: you could do it.
- 39:48Speaker 5: So it's just to think, like, for our grown asses,
- 39:52Speaker 5: we really sitting up here talking about cartoons.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It's amazing. We had a great times for really, but.
- 39:57Speaker 1: It's an incredibly written cartoon that's what, you know, that's
- 40:01Speaker 1: what really makes it where it's just because it has
- 40:04Speaker 1: this thing and it's I've been rereading the Claremont run
- 40:07Speaker 1: of X Men, like the one where a lot of
- 40:08Speaker 1: this comes from, you know, just the great stuff of
- 40:10Speaker 1: X Men, and it's such a soap opera. It's so
- 40:14Speaker 1: filled with sex, you know, violence, all this stuff. It's
- 40:18Speaker 1: so adult, and it's just that's all they're doing is
- 40:21Speaker 1: just translating these stories to screen because it's always been
- 40:24Speaker 1: this way, like you know, like I say, X Men
- 40:27Speaker 1: has always had a super queer thing to it. Like
- 40:30Speaker 1: people don't notice when Storm gets the mohawk look in
- 40:33Speaker 1: X Men, it's because she's in Japan. She meets this
- 40:36Speaker 1: woman who used to date Wolverine. They go out and
- 40:39Speaker 1: have adventures. You know, they have adventures and then Storm
- 40:44Speaker 1: comes back where at a mohawk and leave. That is
- 40:47Speaker 1: straight up how it went down. You know, straight up
- 40:50Speaker 1: how it went down. And Chris Claremonta said Marvel wouldn't
- 40:53Speaker 1: let me show it. So you know, they go off
- 40:56Speaker 1: and have adventures and.
- 40:57Speaker 2: She comes back to the moawk leather fam.
- 41:02Speaker 3: It's it's just contest clues. Like yeah, it's what it's
- 41:12Speaker 3: like for COVID, like the line you know what's happening
- 41:15Speaker 3: in there.
- 41:16Speaker 1: So whenever somebody says that this isn't a part of
- 41:19Speaker 1: X Men, or like what are you talking about, I'm like, bruh,
- 41:21Speaker 1: you are not what because even someone pointed out after
- 41:24Speaker 1: I made the Morph video. Uh, someone pointed out in
- 41:27Speaker 1: the original cartoon series, there's a famous moment where Wolverine's
- 41:31Speaker 1: car gets wrecked or something, and basically Morph is presumed
- 41:35Speaker 1: hurt because of it, and Wolverine almost kills Cyclops over it.
- 41:38Speaker 1: And it's not because the Gene. It's because of Morph.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You know, like his bug out isn't over Jeene, it's
- 41:45Speaker 1: over a Morph always been there, folks, you know that's
- 41:50Speaker 1: it's always there. It's like people might not want to
- 41:54Speaker 1: see it, or people only want to see what they
- 41:55Speaker 1: want to see, because you know, I know Wolverine is
- 41:57Speaker 1: a lot of short King's hero out there, but just
- 42:00Speaker 1: he's your hero does not mean, you know, a two
- 42:02Speaker 1: hundred year old man ain't gonna you know, have some fun.
- 42:06Speaker 5: You know that's crazy because now see I never in
- 42:08Speaker 5: a million years of any of that.
- 42:11Speaker 2: But now that you're saying this.
- 42:13Speaker 1: This man bringing parties for two hundred years, But.
- 42:17Speaker 2: What I'm saying is with him at Morph.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yeah, if Morph and they spend time just chilling, was
- 42:22Speaker 5: turning into Gene.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Hey, YoY yo, that's pretty wild.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I mean, fuck gene urco Silock anyway. You know, you
- 42:38Speaker 1: know whoever Wo might be into James for the Asian women.
- 42:44Speaker 1: There we go, you know what I mean, we already know.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Oh man, that's another one that I realized. Chris Paramont
- 42:50Speaker 1: has a fetish for turning white women into Japanese women,
- 42:53Speaker 1: like everyone knows about Silock. But I was rereading and
- 42:57Speaker 1: he did it to Kitty Pride too, like she turns
- 42:59Speaker 1: in from Ninja at one point. It's fetishes. Boy, there's
- 43:02Speaker 1: a lot of them in men, and they show up
- 43:04Speaker 1: in this cartoon before we get out of Its.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Interesting that we're telling you a cartoon because it's like
- 43:09Speaker 3: it's animated. It's like cartoons are Yeah, it's like cartoons
- 43:15Speaker 3: are specific thing. I feel like that's like the Little Tunes.
- 43:17Speaker 3: That's like, that's a specific thing. I don't know what
- 43:19Speaker 3: the category in my mind that's me tunes like an
- 43:23Speaker 3: animated series.
- 43:25Speaker 4: That's not it's not equal car cartoon.
- 43:28Speaker 3: It's very greated like I like, so I feel like
- 43:30Speaker 3: we should have got our big age where I'm like,
- 43:32Speaker 3: a format will never hold me back. I will read it,
- 43:34Speaker 3: and I'm saying I am, I will read it in
- 43:37Speaker 3: uh omnibus.
- 43:40Speaker 4: I will watch it on this live action. I will
- 43:43Speaker 4: watch it animated. Will you can't hold me back? I'm
- 43:46Speaker 4: going If I want it, I'm gonna get it.
- 43:48Speaker 5: I'm all the way what you did, because guess what,
- 43:50Speaker 5: I don't mind dressing up like a viltrumite, the way
- 43:52Speaker 5: they act like.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I'm I'm with it all I will not. I feel
- 43:56Speaker 2: like I will never be too old to love the ship.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I'm into.
- 44:00Speaker 5: Collect figures, like I haven't bought any in a while,
- 44:02Speaker 5: but like I used to go super hard.
- 44:04Speaker 2: With sa figure. Yeah, I got a couple of joints
- 44:06Speaker 2: over there.
- 44:07Speaker 5: I got some hot to you know, you know about
- 44:08Speaker 5: hot toys, right, Oh, yeah, I got a couple of
- 44:10Speaker 5: hot toys.
- 44:11Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. So yeah, this is my.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Life, Like yeah, now, I just got all the Marvel
- 44:16Speaker 1: legends like that. Did you see the X Men sign
- 44:18Speaker 1: those or nothing? But X Men feeling those all? Right?
- 44:20Speaker 1: Before we get out of here, I know you wanted
- 44:22Speaker 1: to talk doomsday? So what did you think? Because it's
- 44:25Speaker 1: I'll just say this, I'm amazing how many people are
- 44:28Speaker 1: like I felt nothing like.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Nigga what.
- 44:34Speaker 4: I might be one of those people?
- 44:35Speaker 1: Goddamn?
- 44:36Speaker 2: How but you go first come on I got some thoughts.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I get it capitalism, all right, I get it that
- 44:44Speaker 1: that'll make me feel nothing. But you know.
- 44:47Speaker 3: That's not even for me I personally, like it's low
- 44:52Speaker 3: steaks right now, Like even Umbaku. As much as I
- 44:55Speaker 3: love ye, nothing that happened on that screen excited me.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I just I'm like, I just saw little pieces of
- 45:07Speaker 3: things that I know are already on the table, and
- 45:10Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, so when are you gonna give me
- 45:13Speaker 3: more of a snippet on X men, when you're gonna
- 45:15Speaker 3: show me a bit more on Wakanda whatever? Or what's
- 45:19Speaker 3: what's going on with thor why store the central figure here?
- 45:22Speaker 4: What's going on? I just I And again these are
- 45:25Speaker 4: people that I like, and I'm like, I don't.
- 45:27Speaker 3: I just need a reason to care, and right now,
- 45:29Speaker 3: like nothing that happened in that trailer made me care.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Okay, oh okay, all right?
- 45:38Speaker 5: First off, right, remember then we talked about how the
- 45:42Speaker 5: whole content space of people breaking down the movies and all.
- 45:46Speaker 2: That is like to spoil it.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Like I hate the fact that, like unless it's like
- 45:49Speaker 5: maybe two of the channels that I watch that are
- 45:52Speaker 5: not spoiling, everybody's just into the rumors and the leaks
- 45:55Speaker 5: and all of that shit, and I'm staying away from
- 45:56Speaker 5: it because I watched one of those leaks one time
- 45:59Speaker 5: and it was right about No Way Home with Spider
- 46:02Speaker 5: Man having a goal because somebody through paint on it.
- 46:04Speaker 5: So I was like, nah, they should be real out here.
- 46:06Speaker 1: So let me say when they say the whole script
- 46:08Speaker 1: for yeah, there, I'm staying away from it. I'm trying
- 46:12Speaker 1: to say, damn, it's away from it.
- 46:13Speaker 5: I'm trying to act like I'm not in this world
- 46:15Speaker 5: right now, right, so I'm just sticking the dumb rap
- 46:17Speaker 5: shit right now.
- 46:18Speaker 6: Right like, but okay, last story, that's right when I
- 46:23Speaker 6: first watched the trailer, right, So when I first watched
- 46:25Speaker 6: the trailer, I was a bit detached, only because I
- 46:29Speaker 6: had heard so many people breaking down when they saw
- 46:32Speaker 6: it at.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Cinema Coon, I believe, and they did a word.
- 46:35Speaker 5: For word about how it was like they was writing
- 46:38Speaker 5: down the words when they was right watching the trailer.
- 46:40Speaker 5: And then also the AI trailers that just did prompts
- 46:43Speaker 5: of what we heard, right, so all of the prompts we.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Like, they did the prompts. But then she never saw
- 46:48Speaker 2: why send you a few.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 46:51Speaker 2: It was bad.
- 46:52Speaker 5: But what I will say is because I did read
- 46:57Speaker 5: what was his Secret Wars twenty fifteen verse and the
- 47:00Speaker 5: Secret Wars and Persians and you know, when the Illuminati
- 47:04Speaker 5: was there and all of that, That's what I was
- 47:07Speaker 5: excited for, especially when we had got Doctor Strange in
- 47:09Speaker 5: the multi verse of Madness, because there was Illuminati and
- 47:11Speaker 5: then you know, Jonathan May just pumped everything up.
- 47:14Speaker 2: But aside from that, what I.
- 47:17Speaker 5: Was excited for was I loved the moment where we
- 47:21Speaker 5: saw Shane Chee and Gamon fighting.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Yes, because Gambit.
- 47:26Speaker 5: We only got one live action depiction of Gambit in
- 47:28Speaker 5: the Wolverine movie, and I hated that, like him doing
- 47:31Speaker 5: the helicopter thing with it with his staff and all
- 47:34Speaker 5: of that, Like he was just really corny.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Right, I'm like I liked it.
- 47:39Speaker 7: At that timeous that was, But in hindsight, because I
- 47:45Speaker 7: really go back, like maybe monthly and watch that Chanton
- 47:48Speaker 7: Tatum scene and den Pool and Wouverine where.
- 47:50Speaker 5: He's just going off and ship and and and even
- 47:53Speaker 5: though we got that funny, like kind of downgraded version,
- 47:57Speaker 5: this is a more serious version of him. I wish
- 47:59Speaker 5: they would have gave him a little five o'clock shadow though,
- 48:00Speaker 5: like that's give a little five oclock shaddow. But seeing that,
- 48:05Speaker 5: also seeing I love the Mystique versus Helena moment like
- 48:11Speaker 5: that when she catches the staff and it changes and
- 48:13Speaker 5: then they both hit each other at the same time.
- 48:15Speaker 5: And also watching the trailer on your phone versus watching
- 48:18Speaker 5: it on like your MacBook, it kind of hits a
- 48:21Speaker 5: little bit different, and you got to turn it up
- 48:23Speaker 5: pretty loud because the sound the sound engineering on it
- 48:25Speaker 5: is just amazing. I mean, I felt like I understand
- 48:30Speaker 5: when you're coming from Portia because we're just getting doctor
- 48:32Speaker 5: Doom right, Like, we got one end credit scene and
- 48:35Speaker 5: then now Doctor Doom is here and we're probably possibly
- 48:37Speaker 5: not gonna get but so much explanation as to why
- 48:40Speaker 5: or how he got here. The movie is two hours
- 48:43Speaker 5: and forty five minutes though, which is short in an endgame,
- 48:45Speaker 5: and we getting seven more minutes in the next endgame
- 48:48Speaker 5: of new footage to kind of go into this because
- 48:50Speaker 5: this is supposed to be a direct sequel. I'm excited
- 48:53Speaker 5: because it's been what almost eight years since.
- 48:56Speaker 2: An Avengers movie yep.
- 48:57Speaker 5: But at the same time, like I also feel that
- 49:00Speaker 5: they duping us on his trailer. Yeah, I also feel
- 49:03Speaker 5: like there's a lot of misinformation that they've given us.
- 49:06Speaker 5: Just now they're saying, you know, it's the rumor of
- 49:09Speaker 5: this being hydra cap and not the actual our cap,
- 49:13Speaker 5: because even by times standards, this still would be our cap, right,
- 49:18Speaker 5: he still would have lived through doomsday when he came
- 49:21Speaker 5: back in the end of end game if it's our cap.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Well, see, all right, this time works very crazy, Thomas crazy.
- 49:29Speaker 5: Time is easy to understand, Marbles MCU time is insane.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Like, No, what what really got me thinking was because
- 49:38Speaker 1: they released all the member those little like short pre
- 49:40Speaker 1: trailers that they released, and the one with Captain America
- 49:43Speaker 1: where he's getting his uniform out the chest and he
- 49:46Speaker 1: seems to have a child and he's young in that
- 49:50Speaker 1: one again, but he had no beard. He's clean shaving
- 49:55Speaker 1: in that joint and he has a short, you know,
- 49:57Speaker 1: normal Captain America hair, and then this cap we sh
- 50:00Speaker 1: you show up has the nick right here with the beard.
- 50:03Speaker 1: So it was really you know, that threw me off
- 50:06Speaker 1: from like, Okay, this problem maybe evil cap, but then
- 50:09Speaker 1: the fact that he can manage the whole you know
- 50:11Speaker 1: meer is you know interesting as well.
- 50:15Speaker 5: But is he the only thing about see, we haven't
- 50:18Speaker 5: dealt with other than Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse Madness,
- 50:21Speaker 5: we haven't dealt with like variants, right, like in Quantumnia,
- 50:27Speaker 5: which is like erase that, right, but like we haven't
- 50:29Speaker 5: really dealt with variants. So we could very well be
- 50:33Speaker 5: seeing variants in this movie because also this is the
- 50:39Speaker 5: with Professor X. This is the second version of him
- 50:41Speaker 5: we're seeing in the MCU aside from the Fox Universe,
- 50:46Speaker 5: and maybe the third because in Devipool Wooverine he talks
- 50:51Speaker 5: about his Professor X. Then we get in the is
- 50:55Speaker 5: it the eight to eight universe and multiverse Madness, he
- 50:58Speaker 5: gets his next snap by one and then we get
- 51:02Speaker 5: this other version and I don't this is one zero,
- 51:05Speaker 5: such and such universe, So we are getting some sort
- 51:09Speaker 5: of level of variants.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Yes, there's so many pieces that Marvel has picked up
- 51:14Speaker 3: and like put back down, and we don't know what
- 51:16Speaker 3: they're playing with. And so my question is should we
- 51:22Speaker 3: care more about like there being variants on the table
- 51:26Speaker 3: or possible scrolls on the table because the Secret Wars
- 51:30Speaker 3: is going to come up, right, so should we be
- 51:33Speaker 3: thinking about square rolls and super scrolls the way that
- 51:36Speaker 3: we're thinking about variants.
- 51:39Speaker 1: But the single wars is still probably going to be
- 51:42Speaker 1: dealing with the incursions because we see in the trailer
- 51:45Speaker 1: when Professor X is looking out the window, the sky
- 51:49Speaker 1: is already and from the comics, that's the indication that
- 51:53Speaker 1: the two universes are crashing together causing an incursion.
- 51:57Speaker 5: Oh, they're all dying. I don't hit it right now.
- 52:00Speaker 5: All the X Men are going to die.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I think Shane, she beats that man to death and
- 52:05Speaker 1: that scene.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Yes, but but well, well in that scene, I feel like,
- 52:09Speaker 5: so I'll say, in that scene, I feel like that's
- 52:13Speaker 5: their initial them coming into the mansion and everybody's getting.
- 52:16Speaker 2: To know one another, okay through the fight, and I.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Feel like everybody's getting to know one another through the
- 52:20Speaker 5: fight and they have that conversation.
- 52:22Speaker 2: But I believe that that scene with Cydeclops taking off
- 52:26Speaker 2: his y and that is and that is their world ending. Yeah,
- 52:31Speaker 2: that's their world end.
- 52:32Speaker 5: Because keep in mind Comic San Diego Comic Con is
- 52:35Speaker 5: this Saturday, yep, And there's rumors that they're supposed to
- 52:39Speaker 5: be introducing or speaking about some of the casting for
- 52:42Speaker 5: the X Men films. Right, I feel like Kevin Fighter
- 52:45Speaker 5: is also going to give us a blade update because
- 52:47Speaker 5: he just literally called himself.
- 52:49Speaker 2: A a bomb of.
- 52:51Speaker 5: A loser and a bum and a bitch ass nigga for.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Not getting ma Hersha Ali out there yet.
- 52:57Speaker 5: But I can understand them taking their time and being
- 52:59Speaker 5: careful that way everything that's happened because the last phase
- 53:03Speaker 5: got so messed up by legal problems. Yeah, but we
- 53:07Speaker 5: with that X Men is all like the X Men
- 53:10Speaker 5: as we know it, the ones we grew up on. Yeah,
- 53:13Speaker 5: the Fox ones. This is it like it's over for them.
- 53:16Speaker 5: I mean it's over for them.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's time to move on. Yeah. And I
- 53:19Speaker 1: don't think I said this in our group chat last night,
- 53:21Speaker 1: I don't think the X Men that we see in
- 53:23Speaker 1: the trailer make it out of the first app.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't think so. Even I think
- 53:27Speaker 2: that's going to be a fixed.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Or some of them, because I can't see them all
- 53:31Speaker 1: making it into Secret Wars. But I don't see all
- 53:33Speaker 1: of them not making it either. I feel like some
- 53:35Speaker 1: of them have to be in Secret Wars. And then
- 53:36Speaker 1: you start introducing the new ones in Secret Wars as well.
- 53:39Speaker 1: And there's also the rumor that we will have confirmed
- 53:43Speaker 1: that's weak. Is that whether or not Sadie sinc is
- 53:47Speaker 1: playing Jane Gray. Yeah, that she.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Got to be playing.
- 53:50Speaker 5: Listen, if she not playing Jean Gray, I'm going on
- 53:53Speaker 5: stripe until Doomsday come out if she's not playing Gray.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Because but but this is the who's you playing?
- 54:03Speaker 5: No, but this is the culture of the content. It's
- 54:06Speaker 5: like they ruined everything. They just ruin everything. And it's
- 54:10Speaker 5: the people on the set too. We gotta hold them
- 54:12Speaker 5: to the fire because they running their damn mouth too much.
- 54:15Speaker 5: I've been on in the past six months. I've been
- 54:17Speaker 5: on two flights for two Avengers. I was on a
- 54:19Speaker 5: flight with dude who plays this falcon.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I didn't know with.
- 54:22Speaker 5: Him, but he had on like a doomsday had I
- 54:25Speaker 5: thought staff and I just tapped him. I was like,
- 54:28Speaker 5: you're about to go back and set and he thought
- 54:29Speaker 5: I was sitting next to him, so he got up
- 54:31Speaker 5: and I was like, oh, ship, that's you right. I
- 54:35Speaker 5: was on.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I was on a flight with Red Guardian coming from
- 54:37Speaker 2: New York for Atlanta.
- 54:39Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 54:39Speaker 2: Both times I was leaving from Atlanta going.
- 54:41Speaker 1: To lay shooting Atlanta.
- 54:43Speaker 5: Yeah, So I mean, you know, I'm just I'm excited
- 54:46Speaker 5: I ain't gonna lie.
- 54:47Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I push.
- 54:48Speaker 5: I would love to talk with you again after this
- 54:50Speaker 5: movie come out, because I really want to know your thoughts.
- 54:52Speaker 2: I know you're not feeling the nail, but I think
- 54:54Speaker 2: we got a lot to look forward.
- 54:55Speaker 4: To me too, all right, I feel like Spider Man,
- 54:58Speaker 4: I'm hopeful for it. So I'm like, we'll see what happens.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Spider Man, hype for right now. Because Dustin I
- 55:06Speaker 1: can never get his last name. I think it's Crittendon.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He was the executive producer of wonder Man, which to
- 55:12Speaker 1: me is one of the best things Marbles ever done.
- 55:14Speaker 1: And he says this new Spider Man is Peter Parker's
- 55:17Speaker 1: wonder Man, so that he directed Change as well, and
- 55:20Speaker 1: he's the director Change. Shit.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Yeah, he's wait, who's doing the He's not doing the
- 55:25Speaker 5: X Man.
- 55:25Speaker 2: It is the dude that did the Thunderballs.
- 55:27Speaker 1: It's due to the thunderbolts. But Dustin's like involved, he's involved.
- 55:30Speaker 1: And I keep hearing how they're talking that Coogler. They
- 55:33Speaker 1: won't cast Storm unless Coogler approves, because he's probably gonna
- 55:38Speaker 1: have to wrap Storm into Black Panther somehow.
- 55:40Speaker 5: So Black Panthers twenty twenty eight, Like you know, it's crazy,
- 55:42Speaker 5: Like six to seven years ago, I was bitching.
- 55:45Speaker 2: I was like twenty twenty eighth, the music saga, like.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Twenty twenty seven. Now we hear like here, I.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Was really going through it, you know.
- 55:53Speaker 5: But I will say, like yo, as a fan of
- 55:56Speaker 5: all of this law from ninety seven to and what's
- 55:59Speaker 5: the Spider Man, it's coming back inspite.
- 56:01Speaker 1: The fall this fall this summer, I.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Think, yeah, it's Vision Vision Questions still this year.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Vision Questions this year couplet that.
- 56:10Speaker 5: Yeah, we're back, Like real Vision quest comes out before Doomsday,
- 56:14Speaker 5: so it's supposed to be sei ins to that as well.
- 56:16Speaker 2: We're back. I just hope that I hope that my
- 56:19Speaker 2: fisto is somewhere.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Around, Like I mean, I just hope they bring back
- 56:22Speaker 1: iron Heart and do something with that. Yeah, that ending with.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Was so show itself, like no component to it that
- 56:31Speaker 3: they should definitely like if they don't, even if they
- 56:34Speaker 3: give it like a one shot or something like some
- 56:37Speaker 3: special presentation to wrap up something going on in that
- 56:39Speaker 3: univer like that storyline, I would like to see it.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I mean, she's sold, like I need to see a
- 56:46Speaker 1: follow up and I'm.
- 56:48Speaker 5: Gonna keep it a hunted, right. I didn't like all
- 56:50Speaker 5: of the talk that they was. I don't care we
- 56:52Speaker 5: are black. I love seeing iron Heart. I loved how
- 56:56Speaker 5: they picked her, how they told the story about her
- 56:59Speaker 5: step dad raising her, all of that ship, and then
- 57:03Speaker 5: when she saw her so that scene, I just I
- 57:07Speaker 5: feel like, because there's so many people that was just
- 57:10Speaker 5: mad nothing. They really didn't pay attention to how great
- 57:15Speaker 5: that scene with Sasha Baron Cohen was. You know when
- 57:18Speaker 5: we when we get off, I'm about to go watch
- 57:20Speaker 5: that scene again. That scene was amazing, amazing. Remember when
- 57:23Speaker 5: he looks at us when he goes into the spoon
- 57:25Speaker 5: and you can talking about complain layers.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Come on, it's just too much going on. We're gonna
- 57:34Speaker 2: be good though, We're gonna.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Get people just love to be mad. Like I say it,
- 57:38Speaker 1: as long.
- 57:38Speaker 2: As we don't get a black professor.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Hey, hey, I'm down for it.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I wanted I got to tell you one day that
- 57:44Speaker 2: whole thing.
- 57:45Speaker 5: I'm no black professor, no black magneal and imp Yes, no,
- 57:51Speaker 5: we need it.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Please let the people know where they can find you at.
