- 0:11Speaker 1: Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a Hallmark review podcast. I'm
- 0:13Speaker 1: Megan and I'm a longtime Hallmark fan. I'm Wendy. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: a former Hallmark hater. On today's episode, we are discussing
- 0:20Speaker 1: The Way Home, Season four, episode eight, Tainted Love, which
- 0:24Speaker 1: originally aired on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, June seventh,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and is now streaming on Hallmark Plus. Fingers crossed. It
- 0:32Speaker 1: aired last night with no glitches over on Friendly. Well,
- 0:35Speaker 1: that's hope, huh, it's fundy. I've seen many people reference
- 0:39Speaker 1: I was affected by the Friendly blackout. It's so weird.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I've never seen that happen before. Have an either. I
- 0:47Speaker 1: wonder if it was across all channels or just a
- 0:49Speaker 1: Hallmark glitch. You know that's a yeah, yeah, good question.
- 0:54Speaker 1: If you want to participate in our listener mailbag episode
- 0:57Speaker 1: Sitting in your thoughts about the Way Home, you can
- 0:59Speaker 1: email us hell at Girls Conhollmark dot com, or you
- 1:02Speaker 1: can drop us a voicemail at nine four nine three
- 1:05Speaker 1: two nine eight zero nine zero. I want to hop
- 1:08Speaker 1: right into it. Yeah you ready for synopsis? I am
- 1:12Speaker 1: as Kat works to piece together what lies ahead, Elliott
- 1:15Speaker 1: tries to learn more about Tessa as he does his
- 1:17Speaker 1: best to reconnect with his mom. Hey, Wendy, what's your
- 1:21Speaker 1: first impression of this episode? Tainted Love? The writers looked
- 1:26Speaker 1: at Elliott this week and said, you know what, let's
- 1:28Speaker 1: make this worse for him. So I have two verse
- 1:32Speaker 1: impressions and I couldn't commit, so I'm reading both. The
- 1:34Speaker 1: first is Elliott gets his own? Did I do that
- 1:39Speaker 1: moment this week? Yes? Or my other verse impression is
- 1:43Speaker 1: drink every time I write? But what does that mean
- 1:46Speaker 1: in my hose? Yeah, lots of non answers. I love
- 1:51Speaker 1: the did he get his own? Did I do that moment?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Thank you? You know, I just want to talk about
- 1:57Speaker 1: Elliott for a second. I know it sounds like we
- 1:59Speaker 1: can clown on him a lot, especially me. I enjoy
- 2:03Speaker 1: his character and in this episode I was like, damn, dude,
- 2:07Speaker 1: can't catch a break. I know, he's just trying so hard.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He's like I thought I thought I was gonna fix it. Well,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I think that's the whole problem with the time traveling
- 2:18Speaker 1: is that these time travelers they get so hyper fixated
- 2:23Speaker 1: on fixing things and it makes it worse. So maybe
- 2:27Speaker 1: we are not to go fiddle with things. I mean,
- 2:31Speaker 1: isn't that the message behind many many time traveling stories
- 2:36Speaker 1: that are told, yeah, you go back to fix it
- 2:39Speaker 1: and you end up messing something else up, Like we've
- 2:41Speaker 1: all seen Back to the Future where he comes back
- 2:42Speaker 1: in Hill Valley is like a waste land. Right, let's
- 2:47Speaker 1: kick off our discussion and let's talk about our boy Elliott. Okay.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Last week when Kat returned, we had some thoughts about
- 2:55Speaker 1: Elliott letting her go oh yeah and sending the message
- 2:59Speaker 1: like cat wait. I think we get a repeat of
- 3:02Speaker 1: that scene. They showed again more from Elliot's perspective, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: it's so obvious that it was intentional. I am still
- 3:09Speaker 1: pissed that he said cat wait because that leaves her
- 3:15Speaker 1: spinning out, thinking like she she left him behind and
- 3:20Speaker 1: it was all intentional, and that is not cool. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: think when they return back to the present spoiler alert,
- 3:29Speaker 1: Kat and Elliott returned back to the present day in
- 3:31Speaker 1: this episode, they're not holding hands. Did you notice? Oh?
- 3:34Speaker 1: I did not. I remember someone jumped in this episode
- 3:39Speaker 1: not holding hands, and I remember thinking should maybe holding
- 3:41Speaker 1: hands if they're trying to go to the same place. Oh,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I don't know. So we see the effects of Elliot
- 3:49Speaker 1: sticking around in nineteen twenty five to connect with Daryl Mom,
- 3:54Speaker 1: who's not really having it. No, I mean they do
- 3:58Speaker 1: get some They have some moments Tessa and Elliott, which
- 4:02Speaker 1: we're gonna get to, but I want to talk about
- 4:05Speaker 1: the scene where Elliott's playing the piano for Fern and
- 4:10Speaker 1: Cliff as they're dancing, and he goes on and he
- 4:14Speaker 1: plays at Cindy Laupper song Time after Time, which I hate.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I think I'm a Cindy Lapper hater. Actually, Oh, I
- 4:22Speaker 1: you hate that song? I do. Yeah, I love that song.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I just do. I don't know why. Anyway, I did
- 4:32Speaker 1: think it was nice how like Tessa was watching from
- 4:36Speaker 1: the back, and then we get like this full circle
- 4:40Speaker 1: moment later she's like, I used to sing that song
- 4:43Speaker 1: too when you were a baby, blah blah blah blah whatever,
- 4:46Speaker 1: or she hadn't heard that song a long time. I
- 4:48Speaker 1: just thought that was They haven't done a ton this season,
- 4:51Speaker 1: but I love when they like weave in like musical references. Yes,
- 4:56Speaker 1: my notes say that this scene. I can't help but
- 5:00Speaker 1: feel like this is the show getting back to its
- 5:03Speaker 1: roots in this scene. Yeah, because there's scenes later in
- 5:06Speaker 1: this episode specifically the Bootlegger raid where I feel like
- 5:10Speaker 1: this isn't the show we started watching four years ago,
- 5:12Speaker 1: Like we've come so far from that. But in this scene,
- 5:15Speaker 1: remember season one, we would talk about the music and
- 5:18Speaker 1: how that was such a core element of what this
- 5:21Speaker 1: show is. Yeah, and so I just felt like that
- 5:24Speaker 1: just brought us full circle back to that moment. The
- 5:28Speaker 1: song itself is I think perfect for this moment, whether
- 5:31Speaker 1: you like Cyndya Lapper or not. Obviously, time after time,
- 5:34Speaker 1: maybe a little on the nose, but that I was sweet. Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 1: me too. I have more thoughts on Elliet. Yeah, Okay,
- 5:40Speaker 1: what I appreciated about this episode. Yes, we have now
- 5:45Speaker 1: found Tessa, and so now we're transitioning into Elliott trying
- 5:49Speaker 1: to understand Tessa. Mm hmm, what makes her tick? Why
- 5:55Speaker 1: did she leave? Like getting more answers and I'm like
- 5:58Speaker 1: so thankful that that is happening. When Tessa and Elliott
- 6:05Speaker 1: are on the porch and we get maybe one of
- 6:09Speaker 1: the most like revealing not revealing scenes, but we get
- 6:13Speaker 1: some answers, but not a full answers. For example, we
- 6:17Speaker 1: get Tessa's version of events she and Griffin jumped, they
- 6:21Speaker 1: landed in eighteen eighty two, she got very sick. Griffin
- 6:26Speaker 1: then I guess, jumped to the future, so not the future,
- 6:30Speaker 1: back to present day so he could get her medicine,
- 6:32Speaker 1: but then never returned. Right. She's stuck there and the
- 6:37Speaker 1: Landryes took her in. Is that correct? Yes? Yes, because
- 6:42Speaker 1: she said I went the only place I could think
- 6:43Speaker 1: and she stumbles up outside the Landry farmhouse, but we
- 6:47Speaker 1: never see it. We don't know who those Landries are
- 6:50Speaker 1: at that point either, right, No, because Jacob was earlier
- 6:55Speaker 1: eighteen hundreds correct, Uh huh, yes, so she's not overlapping
- 6:59Speaker 1: with Jacob the descendants of Elijah Landry, right, yeah, and
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm not sure it fully matters. It doesn't. No, it
- 7:08Speaker 1: doesn't not to me. But like, okay, at finally we're
- 7:12Speaker 1: getting some like now we have an understanding. We still
- 7:15Speaker 1: don't know why she and Griffin jumped, right, We don't
- 7:18Speaker 1: know what the connection was there, other than maybe Griffin
- 7:21Speaker 1: was in love with her or what she was running
- 7:23Speaker 1: from or those are things we don't still understand. And then,
- 7:28Speaker 1: of course Elliott drops, well, how did you get that
- 7:31Speaker 1: letter to me? Yes, you mailed the ring back. She
- 7:35Speaker 1: has no idea what he's talking about this is my
- 7:37Speaker 1: first but what does that mean? No, it's like, Okay,
- 7:41Speaker 1: now we're gonna this is gonna be hanging out there right.
- 7:45Speaker 1: The other thing that's interesting to me here is Elliott
- 7:47Speaker 1: asks if she was in love with Griffin. She doesn't
- 7:50Speaker 1: answer that question, but she does say that Vic was
- 7:52Speaker 1: always good to her, so apparently his emotionally abusive ways
- 7:56Speaker 1: came later. Yeah, too, about Elliott, it's like, well, he
- 7:59Speaker 1: was tear to me. Thanks for that, Yeah, I mean,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I just wish we had more, you know. I'm curious
- 8:08Speaker 1: from you. Do you think she's telling the truth here
- 8:11Speaker 1: or is she telling in like a version that she
- 8:14Speaker 1: wants Elliott to hear, like maybe hoping that this will
- 8:17Speaker 1: satisfy Well. I think she's telling the truth, but I
- 8:20Speaker 1: don't think she's telling enough of it yet. We still
- 8:22Speaker 1: don't have a reason why she left mm hmm. And
- 8:28Speaker 1: she seems like such a different person, like this hardened
- 8:32Speaker 1: anti criminal is such a different person from this kind
- 8:35Speaker 1: of ethereal Tessa that we knew in the eighties. I
- 8:39Speaker 1: think there's still a lot of questions. I think she's
- 8:41Speaker 1: doling out the information she's willing to give him at
- 8:44Speaker 1: this point, but she doesn't know, Elliott, and I have
- 8:48Speaker 1: to assume, as tough as she's acting, that there is
- 8:52Speaker 1: some shame about what has happened, I would hope. So
- 8:57Speaker 1: perhaps she's not quite comfortable giving him all of the information.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I just there's more to tell. I don't think she's
- 9:02Speaker 1: lying to him, but she's clearly not giving him all
- 9:04Speaker 1: of the information. Yeah. The other key thing here is
- 9:08Speaker 1: that Elliott, he was kind of like, well, I thought
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was gonna stay and connect with my mom. Obviously
- 9:14Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. So maybe I'll just help her
- 9:16Speaker 1: out by joining in this bootlegging operation because I know
- 9:21Speaker 1: that I get arrested. I'm just shaking my head right now. First,
- 9:26Speaker 1: smart guy, why is what? What are you doing? Dude? Well,
- 9:29Speaker 1: so here's my question. Elliot sees the photo of himself
- 9:33Speaker 1: with the article titled the Big Fish. Yeah, he knows
- 9:36Speaker 1: it's inevitable, right, But we also see that Fern is
- 9:41Speaker 1: the one who gives Elliot the pseudonym Tom Buchanan, which
- 9:46Speaker 1: is from the Great Gatsby, And so Elliott what Elliot
- 9:52Speaker 1: didn't know when he sees in present day the article
- 9:55Speaker 1: about the big Fish getting caught Elliot's on the front
- 9:57Speaker 1: page of the newspaper, but it calls that person Tom
- 10:00Speaker 1: you can and Elliott doesn't know who Tom Buchanan is.
- 10:04Speaker 1: He could only assume based on the photo that it's him.
- 10:08Speaker 1: So Elliott's like, well, I get arrested, so I guess
- 10:12Speaker 1: I do need to participate in this bootlegging operation. So
- 10:16Speaker 1: let me hop in the mix. Eh. It just it's messy,
- 10:21Speaker 1: super messy. And the other thing that's interesting to me
- 10:25Speaker 1: about all this time travel that has has kind of
- 10:27Speaker 1: twisted my head up in knots. And this goes for Elliott,
- 10:30Speaker 1: this goes for Cat, This goes for any time one
- 10:32Speaker 1: of our time travelers knows for a fact that they
- 10:36Speaker 1: return for some event or another for whatever reason. Elliott
- 10:41Speaker 1: sometimes would kind of let Alison on the fact that
- 10:44Speaker 1: know you were there for this. Elliott knows he was
- 10:46Speaker 1: there in New Year's Eve. There's all these other moments.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Kat knows that she goes back because she ends up
- 10:52Speaker 1: on the film reel. All of these moments they know
- 10:56Speaker 1: are going to happen, and they know they have to
- 10:58Speaker 1: go back. For me, that would drive personally me crazy
- 11:02Speaker 1: if I were living as a time traveler, is how
- 11:04Speaker 1: do I know when I'm supposed to jump in the pond.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, does it not matter because the pond's going
- 11:10Speaker 1: to take me where I need to go? Do I
- 11:13Speaker 1: need to jump every single day knowing that I go
- 11:15Speaker 1: back because present day time has nothing to do with
- 11:20Speaker 1: past time. Right, So that's one of those things that
- 11:25Speaker 1: we can't really explain, but gets in my head because
- 11:29Speaker 1: I think, well, how do you know? Because we know
- 11:32Speaker 1: in this episode we'll flash forward, we'll flash back to
- 11:35Speaker 1: the present day, and Cat's like, it's been a month
- 11:36Speaker 1: and I haven't gone back. Yeah. Right, if you were
- 11:41Speaker 1: a time traveler, would you jump in the pond every
- 11:43Speaker 1: single day knowing that I go back at some point?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Probably I have no patience. Yeah, otherwise, like what if
- 11:50Speaker 1: you didn't? You know what I mean? But maybe like
- 11:53Speaker 1: fate would take you to the pond anyway if you
- 11:56Speaker 1: were to go back, like, ah, I don't know, because
- 12:01Speaker 1: then I feel like then you're trying. If you're jumping
- 12:03Speaker 1: every day, then you're trying to insert yourself in the path. Guys,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm overthinking this now. I hear you. I hear you.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's it's time travel is complicated. They did, It's complicated.
- 12:22Speaker 1: A real question do you think time travel is possible? Oh? No,
- 12:26Speaker 1: do do? Do? Put your tinfoil cap on? I mean
- 12:29Speaker 1: it would be cool as hell? Or would it? I
- 12:32Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. I don't like to think
- 12:36Speaker 1: about that because I've seen too many instances where it's
- 12:38Speaker 1: used for nefarious purposes, and I don't like to think
- 12:41Speaker 1: about bad actors participating in time travel. Yes, yes, if
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's only Kat going back to find her missing brother. Sure,
- 12:48Speaker 1: but we live in twenty twenty six and people are
- 12:52Speaker 1: not all good. Yes? Should we move on? Are we
- 12:55Speaker 1: done with Elliott a little bit? Yes? Okay, well let's
- 12:59Speaker 1: go to the boot leg bust. Let's do it now.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Here's where I'm bad at sopping mysteries. Like, I just
- 13:07Speaker 1: didn't even connect about Cliff being out of town me
- 13:10Speaker 1: either either, until Grayson says, oh, Cliff's lying to y'all,
- 13:15Speaker 1: And then Fern's like, is he lying because he knows?
- 13:19Speaker 1: He knows we got we gotta get to the still
- 13:21Speaker 1: and stop them. Didn't see any of that coming. Nope,
- 13:25Speaker 1: neither did I all. I was thinking though that, I
- 13:28Speaker 1: was like, really, he's going out of town to get
- 13:30Speaker 1: a copp a word? Are we doing this for being
- 13:33Speaker 1: what kind of cough like he's not very good. Apparently
- 13:36Speaker 1: he's made the most arrests. Blah blah. I don't know,
- 13:40Speaker 1: but agreed. But then of course we have Cat, who's
- 13:44Speaker 1: like at a no finesse runs up on the scene.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I know, every single damn time, every single time. And
- 13:51Speaker 1: then of course there's an undercover cop in the mix
- 13:54Speaker 1: whips out his batch and then comes Cliff, and I
- 13:59Speaker 1: love the like Tess is the boss, not Grayson. Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: this is okay. You mentioned it earlier. You're like, this
- 14:07Speaker 1: is the show. We were not sold on this kind
- 14:11Speaker 1: of show ye season one, So did you hate all
- 14:14Speaker 1: of this or what doesn't work for you? I didn't
- 14:18Speaker 1: hate it, but I was taken a little bit out
- 14:22Speaker 1: of the moment by myself. When they're running away, really
- 14:26Speaker 1: we have a lot of chaos, and part of that
- 14:30Speaker 1: chaos is Cliff coming upon them, and he realizes that
- 14:33Speaker 1: Fern and Cat are mixed up in this, and he
- 14:35Speaker 1: doesn't want to believe even though I think he had
- 14:38Speaker 1: his suspicions because Fern was involved with Grayson, and he
- 14:42Speaker 1: suspected that Grayson was the big fish of it all,
- 14:45Speaker 1: which may still be because as a smart listener points
- 14:49Speaker 1: it out, Grayson controls the newspaper, so who knows, but
- 14:53Speaker 1: we do know that Elliott was involved. Anyway, It's confusing
- 14:57Speaker 1: in that moment as they're running, as the cops are
- 14:59Speaker 1: getting them as cliffs like get away, I thought, wow, this,
- 15:03Speaker 1: this bootleg operation has come so far, because at first,
- 15:09Speaker 1: arriving at the speakeasy in nineteen twenty five was a
- 15:11Speaker 1: nice way to set up the place of it all,
- 15:15Speaker 1: kind of like Jasper's Van is a nice way to
- 15:18Speaker 1: firmly place us in the seventies. But now it's not
- 15:22Speaker 1: just so we have a speakeasy. We have this entire
- 15:24Speaker 1: bootleg operation. We have Percy and Little Mow and Grayson
- 15:29Speaker 1: and Tessa who were all involved well capone capone Yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 1: so it just feels like an entirely different story. Now
- 15:41Speaker 1: again back to our listener mailbag. Another writer in her
- 15:45Speaker 1: pointed out, look, they have to give all of these
- 15:48Speaker 1: characters that they're introducing their own storylines. Tessa can't exist
- 15:52Speaker 1: in the past in a vacuum. She needs to have
- 15:55Speaker 1: been doing something. There has to have been a reason,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and there kind of needs to be conflict that leads
- 16:00Speaker 1: to her potentially not wanting to return, or it wouldn't
- 16:05Speaker 1: really be satisfying if Elliott shows up in nineteen twenty
- 16:09Speaker 1: five and she's like my baby and they hug and
- 16:12Speaker 1: that's it fair. So I do understand the reason for
- 16:16Speaker 1: it all. But I also do feel like when I
- 16:20Speaker 1: think about the Way Home, I can't go back help
- 16:22Speaker 1: but go back to season one and all those iconic
- 16:25Speaker 1: nineties moments and the developing of those friendships, and I
- 16:29Speaker 1: just think we've we've come a long way. The show
- 16:31Speaker 1: has become something different than what it was when we
- 16:34Speaker 1: first started, and it's not necessarily a bad thing. It
- 16:37Speaker 1: just has grown into something different. Right now, My next
- 16:42Speaker 1: question is when Fern jumps in front of Cliff, right,
- 16:46Speaker 1: you know, everybody's trying to get away on foot, Like
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm just rolling my eyes. I'm like, are they running
- 16:51Speaker 1: to the pod? Where are they going? Where are they
- 16:53Speaker 1: going to hide in Port Haven? Surest of all, like
- 16:55Speaker 1: where are they going to get away to? But Fern
- 16:58Speaker 1: jumps in and she like makes her plea or whatever,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and Cliff lets them go. Now Cliff's doing this for Fern, right, Yes, yes,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know I kind of liked it. Sure, And this
- 17:12Speaker 1: is again like not you know, we talked about relationships
- 17:16Speaker 1: were interested in. We had a writer in her who
- 17:18Speaker 1: was like, I'm only invested in Max and Alice, and
- 17:22Speaker 1: I was like, that's the relationship we're interested in. But
- 17:25Speaker 1: are we not interested in Fern and Cliff too, because
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm kind of where does that lead? I'm very intrigued
- 17:31Speaker 1: by them absolutely too. There was a comment on YouTube
- 17:35Speaker 1: that was like, why do these women all keep their
- 17:37Speaker 1: last name? Fern should take her husband's last name, and
- 17:40Speaker 1: I replied back, that assumes that Burn gets married. We
- 17:43Speaker 1: don't have any proof of that Ern has a child,
- 17:46Speaker 1: but we have no proof that Ern gets married to anybody. Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The other interesting thing that happens in this moment another
- 17:53Speaker 1: but what does that mean? Moment for me is as
- 17:56Speaker 1: they're running away, Elliott doesn't want to leave Tessa behind,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and Kat is like, yo, she left you behind, and
- 18:03Speaker 1: Tessa comes in and says, no, no, she didn't. Yes, yes,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I picked that up too. I was like, why is
- 18:12Speaker 1: Tessa referring? Is Tessa referring to herself as she or
- 18:15Speaker 1: is she referring to somebody else? Oh that's interesting. I
- 18:19Speaker 1: didn't well, that's interesting. I didn't take it as her
- 18:22Speaker 1: referring it to someone else. I just thought Kat was
- 18:25Speaker 1: talking about her and the third person, so Tessa runs up.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I don't know, But what does that mean that Tessa
- 18:30Speaker 1: didn't leave him behind? What does that mean? I don't know?
- 18:33Speaker 1: But is that fair for Kat to be like, Yo,
- 18:37Speaker 1: she left you, so you can leave her too. It's
- 18:40Speaker 1: a little unfair. But Kat has proven that her allegiance
- 18:44Speaker 1: is to Elliott, and I appreciate that. I do too.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I mean, there's no love lost between Kat and Tessa, no,
- 18:54Speaker 1: And I can appreciate that Cat is riding hard for
- 18:57Speaker 1: her man and it is like, you broke his so
- 19:01Speaker 1: you're gonna have to come a long way in order
- 19:03Speaker 1: for me to forgive that. Yeah. So do you think
- 19:06Speaker 1: it's interesting that Tessa's like, I'm not interested in coming
- 19:11Speaker 1: to present day? Okay, so that kind of brings us
- 19:15Speaker 1: to our next like the goodbye that isn't Yes, Elliott
- 19:19Speaker 1: kind of assumes like you're gonna come back with me,
- 19:21Speaker 1: like we're going to be a family. I how does
- 19:24Speaker 1: that explain to everybody? How does that a great question?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Here's my mom, she's been missing for the last forty
- 19:30Speaker 1: plus years and now she's back in poor haven great question.
- 19:34Speaker 1: The other thing is I can kind of understand Tessa's
- 19:38Speaker 1: point of view. She's lived here for forty years, and
- 19:41Speaker 1: while it's certainly not perfect, it is her life. It
- 19:45Speaker 1: is her life. Yeah, yeah, you know, I don't know,
- 19:49Speaker 1: Like what what would Elliott truly hope for? Like Tessa
- 19:53Speaker 1: comes back to present day twenty twenty six, right, or
- 19:55Speaker 1: we'll just call it present day. She's not gonna just
- 19:58Speaker 1: like assimilate back into this like mother role. She's not
- 20:01Speaker 1: gonna become Dell. Right, what is he expecting here? Well?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Do you think time with her? Yeah? Do you think
- 20:08Speaker 1: Elliott kind of has the equivalent of children hoping their
- 20:11Speaker 1: parents will get back together, their divorced parents will get
- 20:14Speaker 1: back together. This idyllic If I want it badly enough,
- 20:17Speaker 1: it will be true and not thinking through the reality
- 20:21Speaker 1: of it. Just this would make my life better and happier.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And this is the dream for what I want from
- 20:26Speaker 1: my life. And therefore, why wouldn't she want that? Forget
- 20:30Speaker 1: all the other obstacles? Yeah, I mean that we can
- 20:34Speaker 1: maybe his take we could be a family. Why wouldn't
- 20:36Speaker 1: she want that? Yeah? Yeah, I'm trying to take it
- 20:41Speaker 1: from like Tessa's side, too, like, yeah, there's no way
- 20:44Speaker 1: like this, this is where my life is, this is
- 20:46Speaker 1: what I'm doing. Why would I go back even Well,
- 20:50Speaker 1: and from Tessa's point of view too, there are going
- 20:53Speaker 1: to be people. First of all, Vic still exists in
- 20:55Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. Yes, Dell exists in twenty twenty six,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and these people aren't going to look kindly on Tessa's actions,
- 21:02Speaker 1: So I can understand her being a little bit hesitant
- 21:05Speaker 1: to go back to that. I mean, I think Tessa's
- 21:08Speaker 1: only motivation to go back is if she's trying to
- 21:11Speaker 1: evade the law. In twenty twenty great back, yay, you know,
- 21:15Speaker 1: not in twenty twenty five. In nineteen twenty five, yea absolutely,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and a little bit of Elliott, But again, I mean
- 21:22Speaker 1: not enough. Though she has known that Elliott has existed
- 21:27Speaker 1: many many years, it has not ever been enough to
- 21:31Speaker 1: try to go back correct And while there is some softening,
- 21:35Speaker 1: largely in the time after time moment where she talks
- 21:38Speaker 1: about how she used to sing that, there doesn't seem
- 21:40Speaker 1: to be a lot of yearning for a relationship with
- 21:44Speaker 1: her son on her part, right, And I think there's
- 21:49Speaker 1: more to the story there, But she and Elliott are
- 21:53Speaker 1: not in the same place. But this ends with Elliott
- 21:56Speaker 1: saying maybe here December twenty. First, we go to the
- 21:59Speaker 1: Lingermore Park together, which is weird. He's grasping to what
- 22:05Speaker 1: he has, right, he knows he's there for that, so
- 22:09Speaker 1: let's make a plan. Yes, But this is what I
- 22:13Speaker 1: don't understand, Like he knows he gets arrested at that party,
- 22:18Speaker 1: but he's telling his mom like, oh, meet me here
- 22:19Speaker 1: at this party, just so like we can see each
- 22:21Speaker 1: other again. Well, perhaps that and perhaps if he's not there,
- 22:27Speaker 1: what has happened will always happen. But perhaps he feels
- 22:31Speaker 1: like he's going to take the fall for her because
- 22:33Speaker 1: Elliot's not the big fish Tessa is. Yeah, so he
- 22:36Speaker 1: wants to be the savior and take the fall for her.
- 22:40Speaker 1: My brain's just working right now. I have a couple
- 22:42Speaker 1: other thoughts on Elliott and Tessa. He does bring up
- 22:44Speaker 1: the clock in the wall, much like he brings up
- 22:46Speaker 1: the letter in the ring, and Tessa has no idea
- 22:48Speaker 1: what he's talking about. Yes, again, what does that mean?
- 22:52Speaker 1: The other thing is what's interesting is Tessa was gonna
- 22:57Speaker 1: leave Port Haven with the circus. Yeah, and so how
- 23:02Speaker 1: is she going to be running this bootlegging operation. Oh yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, she does leap, doesn't she leave
- 23:08Speaker 1: and comes Yeah, she does leave with the circus and
- 23:10Speaker 1: then comes back and she says, oh, the Augie boys
- 23:14Speaker 1: have told me that you've been working for them and
- 23:17Speaker 1: you've done a good job, right, You've earned their trust. Yeah? Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 1: but there Yeah, how is I guess she's running it
- 23:25Speaker 1: from Afar with telephones. Maybe she's communicating with Capone on
- 23:29Speaker 1: the circus circle point. Oh my god. Okay, let's take
- 23:33Speaker 1: a break and we're going to come right back to
- 23:35Speaker 1: continue this discussion of episode eight. All right, it's time
- 23:46Speaker 1: for the key? Is the key? Did you laugh when
- 23:51Speaker 1: like Kat's like, oh I did, I did? Okay, this
- 23:58Speaker 1: is what in this Like I did? Like how like
- 24:03Speaker 1: rapid it was happening like rapid revelations. Yeah. Though it
- 24:10Speaker 1: just reminded me that this entire season there's been these big,
- 24:14Speaker 1: like Scooby Doo reveal moments that I don't love. Huh.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But I think it's because like they need to progress
- 24:21Speaker 1: the story along. But it just makes me roll my
- 24:24Speaker 1: eyes a little bit. You feel like it was too quick.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I just hate when it's like and then and this
- 24:32Speaker 1: and that's what it all means, you know what I mean?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Right anyway, especially Kat saying Fern said she was just
- 24:40Speaker 1: the messenger. Yeah, it's like, do people really have like those,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you know, realizations? Yes, yes, SIG's under clap like yes, yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know, not often, not as often
- 24:53Speaker 1: as they do in the show. But I'm not also
- 24:55Speaker 1: solving mysteries constantly, but just every week when we have
- 25:00Speaker 1: a mystery to all on, which I never do. So I
- 25:04Speaker 1: thought it was interesting. I knew it was some sort
- 25:08Speaker 1: of key, like the words and the letters were, but
- 25:10Speaker 1: I kind of assumed that it was maybe in Cliff's letter,
- 25:13Speaker 1: but it's in Fern's columns and these ts Eliot quotes
- 25:17Speaker 1: that she was using, which was, what's such a clever
- 25:20Speaker 1: tie in? I think? Yeah, the code that they decode
- 25:24Speaker 1: New Year's Eve job botched. You know, I'm such a dummy,
- 25:28Speaker 1: Like I kept like pausing it, like I was going
- 25:30Speaker 1: to figure it out before like the big and when
- 25:34Speaker 1: it got to like n y E, I was like,
- 25:36Speaker 1: New Years such a dummy. The tunnels destroyed five souls
- 25:44Speaker 1: in four out. Tessa gone, okay, but this drove me
- 25:50Speaker 1: nuts here because Kasin had to explain to Elliott the song.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm like, maybe was just singing. I would pick two
- 25:59Speaker 1: episodes like he was just seeing it. Yes, I really
- 26:02Speaker 1: writed a Bravo editor to cut in with the scene
- 26:05Speaker 1: of Nick and Elliot I who went in and then
- 26:07Speaker 1: four came out. Now, Tessa gone obviously has a double
- 26:12Speaker 1: meaning here because it could mean she's the fifth soul, yes,
- 26:17Speaker 1: or it could mean she bounced. Yeah. I think they
- 26:20Speaker 1: want us to believe that she was the one that
- 26:22Speaker 1: was killed in the Lingolmore explosion. I think it's she's
- 26:29Speaker 1: just gone. Yeah, I took care of me looking out
- 26:33Speaker 1: for number one. Yeah, exactly. I think Elliott believes that
- 26:36Speaker 1: she's she's the fifth soul and this is his Did
- 26:41Speaker 1: I do that moment where he realizes, oh no, I
- 26:44Speaker 1: told her to come there and perhaps this is going
- 26:47Speaker 1: to be a big problem. Yes, But now it's going
- 26:50Speaker 1: to be a bigger problem because now I was going
- 26:51Speaker 1: to try to go back and like fix it so
- 26:54Speaker 1: she doesn't get killed. Do you see what I mean?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Like to keep tinkering, But what I did, what will
- 27:00Speaker 1: happen is always going to happen, right, So indeed, well,
- 27:05Speaker 1: let's talk about Jacob and Abbey. Look, I don't hate
- 27:08Speaker 1: this storyline as much as you do. It was better
- 27:10Speaker 1: for me. Here is a thing. I think Jacob and
- 27:13Speaker 1: Abby are so beautiful. To look at Abby, that actress
- 27:17Speaker 1: is stunning. I agree. Every time she speaks, I just
- 27:20Speaker 1: find myself going, huh, say more, you're so funny, You're like,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I think she's very pretty. I do wish we had
- 27:28Speaker 1: a whole another season for this relationship to develop. And
- 27:32Speaker 1: it's not like a wham bam situation. You know, these
- 27:37Speaker 1: two now believe that they're in love with each other. Great,
- 27:40Speaker 1: they've had this like torrid affair happening, you know, up
- 27:44Speaker 1: in the hayloft. Yeah, you know where is Lewis? Don't
- 27:48Speaker 1: know off the payroll? Is he not at lingermore Is
- 27:53Speaker 1: because he's about to launch a sparkling wine. I just
- 27:55Speaker 1: think we have I think he's just existing off screen.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I thought it was really funny how Abby goes to
- 28:02Speaker 1: dinner and she's just stepping into like saying the wrong
- 28:06Speaker 1: things every single time. I was like, she's trying. You know,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you just have those moments right, absolutely, And I don't think.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I don't think Dell is I mean, Dell's not a
- 28:19Speaker 1: terrible person, like she realizes what's happening. She's not like, oh,
- 28:22Speaker 1: Abby's awful, you know, because she's saying these things. I
- 28:26Speaker 1: just thought it was so funny. I was like, oh
- 28:28Speaker 1: Abby just you know, she's she tries to compliment Dell.
- 28:33Speaker 1: She's trying to smooth the path, and every single thing
- 28:36Speaker 1: she says is it is a dig at Dell's quiet,
- 28:39Speaker 1: simple cut. I don't know how you have the time
- 28:42Speaker 1: to pot don't that is like, yeah, don't yeah, And
- 28:47Speaker 1: then Delle kind of was like, well, I wouldn't expect
- 28:49Speaker 1: a city like mouse like you to understand. And Sam
- 28:52Speaker 1: tries to kind of like, yeah, but I don't. I don't.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't uh, I don't sense like real beef between
- 28:59Speaker 1: these you. Dell doesn't operate like that. No, And I
- 29:03Speaker 1: think Dell just wants Jacob to be happy, but she
- 29:06Speaker 1: kind of does need to get it back a little
- 29:08Speaker 1: bit of course. Of course. Now, what are your thoughts
- 29:12Speaker 1: on Jacob realizing that, like you know, Abby's from Toronto,
- 29:16Speaker 1: she may not want to stay in Port Haven. I
- 29:18Speaker 1: thought it was a little shortsighted for Jacob to be
- 29:20Speaker 1: shocked by that announcement. I thought so to visiting Port
- 29:24Speaker 1: Haven to help your dad out. So Jacob made the
- 29:26Speaker 1: leap that now you've moved here full time. Why have
- 29:29Speaker 1: we not had this discussion? How long are you in town?
- 29:31Speaker 1: What are your plans? Are you going to continue working
- 29:34Speaker 1: for Goodwin's good Want? When are you going back? What
- 29:37Speaker 1: are we talking about? You are an adult? Why have
- 29:39Speaker 1: you not had this conversation? I know because I imagine these
- 29:42Speaker 1: two just canoodling up in the hayloft with nothing but
- 29:44Speaker 1: time to talk about themselves and their lives and whatever, like,
- 29:49Speaker 1: how did we miss this big piece of the puzzle.
- 29:51Speaker 1: My favorite line of the episode when Jacob comes to
- 29:55Speaker 1: Abby with an apology about how we can make it work. Essentially,
- 29:59Speaker 1: you know, he says, you know, we can make long distance.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Where he goes there are telephones now. Did you hear
- 30:05Speaker 1: him saying, yeah, I know, it's funny, like they have
- 30:07Speaker 1: to always give Jacob like these like fish out of
- 30:10Speaker 1: water lines. Yeah, so it's funny there are telephones now,
- 30:14Speaker 1: which is kind of like a you could see somebody saying,
- 30:18Speaker 1: like telephones exist. It's you know, yeah, it sounds like sarcasms. Yes,
- 30:22Speaker 1: it just made me laugh. Yeah, and then this kind
- 30:25Speaker 1: of ends with Abby saying, well, it looks like I'm
- 30:28Speaker 1: going to need to tell my dad about you. Now
- 30:29Speaker 1: I have a question. Does Jacob ever need to tell
- 30:33Speaker 1: Abby about the pond, especially if Casey is in fact
- 30:37Speaker 1: their child and he has to if he's going to
- 30:41Speaker 1: keep the secret of the pond, does he have to
- 30:44Speaker 1: not let on the fact that he met their child
- 30:46Speaker 1: in the past. Or will Jacob's memories of Casey be
- 30:51Speaker 1: similar to Cat's memories about Oh? Good question, Hey, nay,
- 30:57Speaker 1: good questions. I do say it is necessary for Jacob
- 31:01Speaker 1: to keep the secret of the pond from an Abbey
- 31:05Speaker 1: because Jacob has no business going back in the pond.
- 31:07Speaker 1: He doesn't need to write, correct, he doesn't need to
- 31:10Speaker 1: time travel. Can you imagine that conversation? Let me tell
- 31:14Speaker 1: you I've met our child, Yeah, twenty years growing up
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the past, not just off the grid. Yeah, it
- 31:24Speaker 1: sounds crazy, of course, it sounds nuts. You know. I'm like,
- 31:27Speaker 1: this could be a total season five, like, come on now,
- 31:30Speaker 1: of how they would navigate this, I don't know, And
- 31:35Speaker 1: I love the idea that, like Jacob's memories of Casey
- 31:40Speaker 1: would be similar to Cats of Alice. I don't know though,
- 31:45Speaker 1: because you know, Jacob's a full adult, not that that's true.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Young Cat wasn't an almost adult as well. Well, I
- 31:53Speaker 1: don't know. Jacob is a full little who also knows
- 31:56Speaker 1: that Casey is a time traveler, whereas a young cat
- 32:00Speaker 1: or knew that of Alice. So wasn't operating with I
- 32:03Speaker 1: need to remember this for my future daughter. No seriously.
- 32:06Speaker 1: And I just had like a thought about like a
- 32:09Speaker 1: friend that I was friends with in sixth grade. I'm like,
- 32:11Speaker 1: what if that was a time traveler? You know, I
- 32:13Speaker 1: wouldn't have I wouldn't have known any difference, and if
- 32:16Speaker 1: that person came back into my life, I would be like,
- 32:18Speaker 1: I don't remember you the DT murky. Sure, yeah, well
- 32:21Speaker 1: shall we talk about our girl Alice? Yes? Well, first
- 32:26Speaker 1: there's a party at the point for the forty fifth anniversary,
- 32:30Speaker 1: and they play the real and cat husband and Alice
- 32:33Speaker 1: have both been cut out of it. It's a Scooby
- 32:36Speaker 1: Doo moment. Exactly, yeah, exact Evelyn must have cut it out.
- 32:40Speaker 1: It's so interesting because sometimes they make they jump to
- 32:43Speaker 1: conclusions that are not the first conclusion I jumped to,
- 32:46Speaker 1: h huh, or I don't have a conclusion, but they
- 32:49Speaker 1: immediately have cracked the case. What do you think What
- 32:52Speaker 1: was your conclusion to why they went I didn't really
- 32:55Speaker 1: have one. I mean, somebody must have cut it out.
- 32:57Speaker 1: But I thought maybe one of them went back to
- 33:00Speaker 1: the past and did it. Got it? Yeah, I don't.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I don't really know. So Alice is like, my God,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I gotta go figure out how this happens. Gotta jump
- 33:09Speaker 1: back in the pond again. Gotta observed from afar spy
- 33:12Speaker 1: on My Friends, Dell's pregnant, Tessa's pregnant, and Evie's sad. Yeah,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I mean it was obvious. It was nicely played by
- 33:23Speaker 1: the actress who plays ev in this moment hair she
- 33:26Speaker 1: looks like disassociating sitting at that table. Yeah, you know,
- 33:31Speaker 1: she's just lonely, it seems. Yeah. And they're like toasting
- 33:36Speaker 1: to their kids being best friends growing up, and EV's like, yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'm all toasted out. I got a bounce. Yeah. What
- 33:43Speaker 1: is she upset about though? Here? Because like, well, I
- 33:46Speaker 1: think it's like Dell and Colton and Vic and Tessa
- 33:50Speaker 1: are kind of living parallel lives and Evie is she's
- 33:54Speaker 1: not in baby face anymore. How old is lewis? At
- 33:58Speaker 1: this point? We don't see Louis obviously five or six. Okay,
- 34:02Speaker 1: so seven far, it's not that far removed. No, but
- 34:06Speaker 1: you're not in the baby stage. You're not raising babies
- 34:08Speaker 1: together like Lewis isn't going to come over and hang
- 34:10Speaker 1: out with the babies on their blankets together outside. Yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 1: you know, So while I think, and I'm sure she
- 34:17Speaker 1: feels a little bit left out because they're both in
- 34:19Speaker 1: relationships and she's not, and Cole Cole Coleton is as
- 34:26Speaker 1: you would expect, investing his time in his family, unless
- 34:30Speaker 1: in his friendships, and so I think she just feels
- 34:33Speaker 1: left out. Yeah, And I think it paints the picture
- 34:36Speaker 1: of her being lonely and dying alone. We think that
- 34:40Speaker 1: is so sad. I'm going to need I'm going to
- 34:42Speaker 1: need an adult Alice visiting an adult and that, Yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 1: something something like that. I can't just have ev out
- 34:51Speaker 1: here dying a lonely life. You know. Let me ask you,
- 34:57Speaker 1: what do you think? Do you think evil he was
- 35:01Speaker 1: the one that edited the film real and then does
- 35:05Speaker 1: know about Alice's time travels? So I think probably because
- 35:11Speaker 1: Alice and Kat dated it as fact in that moment.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Uh uh huh. I think probably, But I think Alice
- 35:18Speaker 1: is gonna have to do another jump. We're gonna have
- 35:21Speaker 1: to see it happen, or at least the suggestion that
- 35:24Speaker 1: it happens, or at least because at this point in time,
- 35:27Speaker 1: Evie doesn't have that. Alice asked or and Evie doesn't
- 35:29Speaker 1: have it. She wanted it and it had been disappeared.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We don't know who finds it. You're right, And of
- 35:35Speaker 1: course Evie is continuing to ask questions, why haven't you aged,
- 35:39Speaker 1: Why don't you have a phone number? This is weird?
- 35:42Speaker 1: And then she's drunk and passes out. Who are you
- 35:45Speaker 1: Alice in Wonderland? Yeah? Yes, so I love Evie. I
- 35:50Speaker 1: love the character ev Right. Is there somebody else who
- 35:54Speaker 1: would have had access to that? Look, Jasper's still a
- 35:57Speaker 1: little bit of a wild card. Is it possible he
- 36:00Speaker 1: could have seen the way Alice reacted to that footage
- 36:03Speaker 1: and edited it. It was Max, No, I don't know.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I don't know either. I don't know when. Uh maybe,
- 36:11Speaker 1: like kind of passes out and Alice tells her that
- 36:13Speaker 1: she'll she'll be there when she needs her. I was like,
- 36:17Speaker 1: this is a setup, right, this is a setup for
- 36:19Speaker 1: the future. Seems like it when Evelyne is it seems
- 36:23Speaker 1: like it for sure. I don't know, God, I just hope, so,
- 36:26Speaker 1: I hope. So this kind of unlocks something in Alice,
- 36:28Speaker 1: and now she's all of a sudden able to write
- 36:30Speaker 1: a song, which she sends to Max. She and Max
- 36:35Speaker 1: not to the fred Or King. She didn't send it
- 36:37Speaker 1: to him. She and Max don't seem to have communicated
- 36:40Speaker 1: since their blow up. The other thing is Alice tells Dell,
- 36:45Speaker 1: I saw you and you're pregnant with Cat. And I
- 36:47Speaker 1: feel like this scene with Alice and Dell answers some
- 36:49Speaker 1: of the questions that people had. Dell is the biological
- 36:52Speaker 1: mother of both Kat and Jacob. She talks about Cat
- 36:55Speaker 1: being their miracle and Jacob being their surprise, and that
- 36:57Speaker 1: feels like a small little loop we're closing there, like
- 37:00Speaker 1: Alice is finally able. Oh, I finally unlocked the thing
- 37:03Speaker 1: that's going to help me write songs. I figured out
- 37:07Speaker 1: who I am. Like this has been an issue all
- 37:08Speaker 1: season long, A little bit a necessary one, though, well.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The only reason I think it's necessary is I think
- 37:15Speaker 1: it may point to Alice's future plants, Okay, whatever those
- 37:20Speaker 1: may be. Finally, Sam knows about the pond. I mean, duh, duh.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You know this this episode is a bunch of tiny reveals,
- 37:30Speaker 1: but just not quite enough. I think it's nice Dell
- 37:35Speaker 1: saying all I want my children are both happy. That's
- 37:37Speaker 1: all I want in life. I wish Colton knew, and
- 37:39Speaker 1: Sam says, what if you're tell him? Okay, she can't,
- 37:44Speaker 1: he is dead, but she could go back back into
- 37:48Speaker 1: the past, and that's his point. Okay, okay, all right,
- 37:53Speaker 1: that makes sense, sort of like, did you sit up
- 37:56Speaker 1: and get much closer to the mic in that moment?
- 37:58Speaker 1: I did. I'm sorry, you know, it's okay. I'm just
- 38:00Speaker 1: envisioning you getting real activated I always you know, how
- 38:05Speaker 1: do you think Dale's gonna take this? I don't know. Hopefully, well,
- 38:09Speaker 1: hopefully this is not another wedge in their relationship. But
- 38:14Speaker 1: of course this is a cliffhanger at the end of
- 38:16Speaker 1: the episode. How does Sam know what's his connection? Does
- 38:19Speaker 1: he simply know as he participated in time travel? What
- 38:22Speaker 1: is going on? Part of me hopes that deal goes good.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I don't have to keep that secret from you, you
- 38:29Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like, so that's great, it's a
- 38:32Speaker 1: you know, a relief. But then on the other hand,
- 38:35Speaker 1: he could easily go the other way and be like,
- 38:37Speaker 1: you've known all along, and you've kept these secrets, and
- 38:40Speaker 1: how can this relationship be built on trust? Blah blah
- 38:42Speaker 1: blah blah blah whatever. But in all fairness, she's kept
- 38:46Speaker 1: the same secrets but totally totally. So I hope, I
- 38:51Speaker 1: hope there's like a okay, and now let's figure out
- 38:55Speaker 1: how Sam is connected to this. Yeah, you know what
- 38:57Speaker 1: I mean. But if Sam is is, okay, let me
- 39:04Speaker 1: hold on, work it out, work it out. Is Sam
- 39:09Speaker 1: a time traveler not associated with the Landryes potentially because
- 39:15Speaker 1: another magical geological location, geographical locations something, because like we
- 39:22Speaker 1: don't want Sam to technically be a Landry, do we? No? No, no, no, no,
- 39:26Speaker 1: of course I don't think Sam's Landry, I really hope.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And how is he time traveling be at the pond?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Or is he time traveling be at the pond if
- 39:35Speaker 1: he is with somebody else? Okay, Okay, Casey, Perhaps then
- 39:41Speaker 1: Casey told Sam all this stuff well, or perhaps the
- 39:47Speaker 1: comparison has been made is that Sam is Casey's Elliott,
- 39:51Speaker 1: and so Elliott knew about time travel. Elliott was deeply
- 39:53Speaker 1: involved with time travel but until very recently didn't time
- 39:57Speaker 1: travel himself. I just need to know how Sam is
- 39:59Speaker 1: a associated with the coins and the circus poster. Perhaps, yes,
- 40:04Speaker 1: me too. This is the hill I'm going to die on, guys,
- 40:08Speaker 1: You and the poster, Me and the horse. Yep, although
- 40:14Speaker 1: I think I think we're done with the horse. Guys.
