- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven t R. How did you get to be Monday? Already?
- 0:12Speaker 1: We got a lot to get to. We'll get to
- 0:14Speaker 1: the New York Jets. Should they be allowed to even
- 0:16Speaker 1: continue the season? Maybe they should just fourthit the whole season.
- 0:19Speaker 1: We'll get to President Trump. We'll get to the Mid East.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We'll get to George Santos, We'll get to we'll get
- 0:27Speaker 1: to the Merrill Race in a moment in great detail,
- 0:29Speaker 1: Cuomo sliwa, Mom, Donnie. We'll get to the shutdown. We'll
- 0:33Speaker 1: get to James Komy. We'll get to that. What was
- 0:35Speaker 1: that thing called the No Kings March? The No Kings March?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Did you see it? Look like Halloween at the Senior Center?
- 0:46Speaker 1: They said, well, the good thing is there was no violence,
- 0:50Speaker 1: no kidding. Everybody was over sixty five. It was people
- 0:52Speaker 1: in their seventies eighties. How much violence did you expect
- 0:55Speaker 1: from them? Anyway, we'll get to that coming up. Now.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You may have known this President Trump. This is the
- 1:02Speaker 1: first time so far that he's gone to mar A Lago.
- 1:06Speaker 1: You know, mar Alago closes in the spring, closes for
- 1:09Speaker 1: the summer because it's unbearably hot all summer down there.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You might want to bear that in mind if you're
- 1:15Speaker 1: thinking of move in there. So it's about to reopen,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and President Trump went down there for the first time
- 1:21Speaker 1: first weekend at Mar A Lago in many, many, many
- 1:24Speaker 1: many months. Now. You may have noticed when he got
- 1:28Speaker 1: off Air Force One in Florida, he used the little
- 1:30Speaker 1: baby stairs, not the big grand stairs he come down,
- 1:34Speaker 1: but the little baby stairs that Biden used. Now, in
- 1:37Speaker 1: the case of Biden, he was unable to walk down
- 1:39Speaker 1: the stairs without falling and tripping and looking ridiculous, so
- 1:43Speaker 1: they switched him to the baby stairs. Now, the reason
- 1:47Speaker 1: Trump has switched in Florida, it's only in Florida is
- 1:52Speaker 1: was a huge security threat. They found what they think
- 1:55Speaker 1: might have been another assassination attempt. What's called a hunting stack,
- 2:01Speaker 1: which is a platform that's put up in a tree.
- 2:05Speaker 1: They found one right near the Palm Beach Airport where
- 2:07Speaker 1: Trump lands, and that stand, if you were a hunter
- 2:11Speaker 1: were to sit up there in that stand or lie
- 2:14Speaker 1: up there in that stand, would have a line of
- 2:16Speaker 1: sight to the President coming down the stairs of Air
- 2:20Speaker 1: Force one. It's a line of site right to where
- 2:22Speaker 1: Air Force one lands, so luckily no one was there,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but they found that and as a precaution, they had
- 2:29Speaker 1: Trump come down the little baby stairs, which is on
- 2:32Speaker 1: the other side, and it's much safer now. When he
- 2:35Speaker 1: came back to Washington. Of course in DC it's an
- 2:39Speaker 1: Air Force base, they used the big, big stairs. But
- 2:41Speaker 1: interesting that there was another assassination plot foiled there against
- 2:46Speaker 1: President Trump. So the mayoral race, a lot is going on.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It's interesting, Cuomo. No one knows if he's actually in
- 2:55Speaker 1: this campaign. He has still not opened the campaign headquarters.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's fifteen days left and he hasn't opened a campaign
- 3:02Speaker 1: headquarters yet. And he's not been campaigning. He's done nothing
- 3:06Speaker 1: for the last ten days. He basically left the race.
- 3:09Speaker 1: No campaigning. He is doing a lot of TV interviews.
- 3:13Speaker 1: He was on MSNBC this morning, even went on Fox
- 3:16Speaker 1: this morning with Bill Hemmer. So he is doing interviews,
- 3:20Speaker 1: but he's not actively campaigning. I don't know why in
- 3:23Speaker 1: a race where you're behind, I don't know why you
- 3:27Speaker 1: wouldn't be out there campaigning like crazy. But he's not.
- 3:30Speaker 1: He's just not running a campaign. No campaign headquarters, no
- 3:33Speaker 1: campaign stops, no rallies, no no anything. Just these TV interviews,
- 3:37Speaker 1: which you're pretty easy. You know, you do these TV interviews,
- 3:40Speaker 1: it's five minutes, it's ten minutes, and that's it. So
- 3:42Speaker 1: he does a couple of those, nothing else. And you
- 3:45Speaker 1: got to remember a lot of those TV interviews. If
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're on Fox here, you're on MSNBC, about ninety eight
- 3:52Speaker 1: percent of the people watching aren't in New York City,
- 3:55Speaker 1: so they can't actually vote for you. So I don't
- 3:57Speaker 1: know what he thinks he's doing with these TV is.
- 4:00Speaker 1: The vast majority of the viewers can't vote for him.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So there's a poll that came out. You might have
- 4:07Speaker 1: read it, and it's in the New York Post that says,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you know, Cuomo was within striking distance. Now if Curtis
- 4:13Speaker 1: were out of the race, if your poll just Mom,
- 4:15Speaker 1: Donnie and Cuomo, Cuomo's got a shot, He's almost caught up. Well,
- 4:20Speaker 1: don't take that poll too seriously. It's not a real poll.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It's one of these cheap, flimsy public polls. It's very
- 4:26Speaker 1: few people in the poll, and it was done before
- 4:28Speaker 1: the debates, and it used the wrong model. It uses
- 4:31Speaker 1: the twenty twenty one model where Eric Adams went because
- 4:36Speaker 1: in that model, only eighteen percent turned out to vote.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It's not a good model to use, so it's got
- 4:41Speaker 1: a lot of flaws in that poll. Now, Cuomo, in
- 4:45Speaker 1: these TV appearances today has basically been attacking Curtis like crazy.
- 4:50Speaker 1: For the last two days, he's been attacking Curtis. He's
- 4:54Speaker 1: not so much going after Mom Donn. He's just going
- 4:56Speaker 1: after Curtis like crazy. Curtisly cannot win the race. I
- 5:01Speaker 1: believe he's there as a spoiler because the Republican party
- 5:05Speaker 1: bosses want to sez or On Mondomie win for their
- 5:08Speaker 1: own political purposes. Yeah, you can't really call him a
- 5:12Speaker 1: spoiler because he is a major party nominee. There was
- 5:15Speaker 1: a Democratic primary. Cuomo ran in that Democrats totally rejected him.
- 5:19Speaker 1: He was wiped out by a lot of votes. Had
- 5:22Speaker 1: nothing to do with the RNG choice, just in straight
- 5:24Speaker 1: popular vote. He really got wiped out. Cuomo lost the
- 5:27Speaker 1: Democratic nomination, Curtis got the Republican nomination. So those are
- 5:31Speaker 1: your two major party candidates. Curtis the Republican candidate, Mamdani
- 5:37Speaker 1: the Democratic candidate. Those are the two major party candidates.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Cuomo shows up on some third party, the independent party,
- 5:44Speaker 1: whatever that is. It's a third party, so he would
- 5:47Speaker 1: technically literally be the spoiler. He's the third party candidate,
- 5:50Speaker 1: not a major party candidate. He's been attacking Curtis all
- 5:54Speaker 1: these the other thing he keuld call him a shock jock.
- 5:57Speaker 1: He's been doing that for a couple of days now,
- 6:00Speaker 1: shock jock on local radio. Many of you probably listened
- 6:05Speaker 1: to Curtis for years. He was the number one morning
- 6:08Speaker 1: show in New York for like twenty years. He's done
- 6:12Speaker 1: a lot. I don't think anybody in their right mind
- 6:14Speaker 1: would ever call him a shock jock. He's a guy
- 6:18Speaker 1: who all of his radio career is talking about news
- 6:20Speaker 1: and politics. Not a shock jock by any stretching the imagination.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So it's a compliment to Curtis that Cuomo in attack
- 6:27Speaker 1: and m has to make up all this stuff spoiler
- 6:30Speaker 1: now he's actually a major party candidate. Shock jock never happened.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So if Cuomo's got a resort to that kind of lying,
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's a good sign for Curtis. Now, crime is a
- 6:43Speaker 1: big issue. Nobody better on that than Curtis. But Cuomo
- 6:46Speaker 1: now saying he would ask Jessica Tish to stay. He's
- 6:49Speaker 1: now come out and said that Curtis has said absolutely
- 6:52Speaker 1: he would. Mom Donnie said he's actively considering it, which
- 6:56Speaker 1: means you'll get rid of her in a second. Mom
- 6:59Speaker 1: Donnie's got a problem now because he was caught posing
- 7:02Speaker 1: with one of the ninety three World Trade Center attack guys,
- 7:09Speaker 1: his imam pal, who, by the way, has a history
- 7:12Speaker 1: of the most awful, disgusting, homophobic anti gay comments, calling
- 7:16Speaker 1: for violence against gays, calling for all courts of the
- 7:20Speaker 1: horrible things happen to anybody that's gay. This is who
- 7:23Speaker 1: Mam Donnie is posing with. Now. One thing in that poll,
- 7:28Speaker 1: that flimsy little pole that came out, it still shows
- 7:31Speaker 1: Cuomo losing to Mam Donnie, even if Curtis is out
- 7:34Speaker 1: of the race, but it does show we're hoping for
- 7:38Speaker 1: more turnout. This this is a turnout race with the
- 7:40Speaker 1: Deblasio he got in because you only got eighteen percent turnout.
- 7:45Speaker 1: In the good old days, where Giuliani would get in,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you got eighty one percent turnout, So that's what we're
- 7:51Speaker 1: looking for, a huge turnout. This pole does show that
- 7:54Speaker 1: the undecided vote is mostly over fifty older people. Now
- 7:59Speaker 1: those people that would probably not go for Mam Donnie,
- 8:02Speaker 1: So there's a huge undecided vote out there. So if
- 8:04Speaker 1: there's huge turnout, Curtis has a chance. I don't know. Cuomo,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I could say, has a chance. But the problem is
- 8:10Speaker 1: every time you put Cuomo in a race against Mam Donnie,
- 8:14Speaker 1: he loses two debates. He lost badly the popular vote
- 8:18Speaker 1: and the Democratic primary lost that badly. The other thing.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Cuomo was attacking Curtis, but it's a perpetual candidate. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: actually just ran once before. I think Clomo's run seventeen times,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and a couple of times it went badly and he
- 8:33Speaker 1: dropped out of the race. But Cuomo then attacking the
- 8:38Speaker 1: President Trump and again these attacks. He was going after
- 8:42Speaker 1: President Trump for indicting Komi, indicting Bolton, and he said,
- 8:47Speaker 1: prosecuting our enemies, that's what Putin does. That's not what
- 8:51Speaker 1: we do. That's Putin. We don't prosecute our enemies. Where
- 8:56Speaker 1: was he last year Trump was indicted and forced four
- 9:00Speaker 1: indictments four different cities at the same time. Where was
- 9:03Speaker 1: he when they put the Bannon in jail, or Peter
- 9:05Speaker 1: Navarro in jail? Or did that ridiculous Normandy invasion up
- 9:09Speaker 1: the lawn of Roger Stone's house to arrest and all
- 9:13Speaker 1: we did was prosecute political enemies for four solid years,
- 9:17Speaker 1: a thousand times more than what's going on now. Hey,
- 9:20Speaker 1: that no King's rally yesterday. You know how if the
- 9:24Speaker 1: president says something, NBC, all the networks they reported the
- 9:29Speaker 1: President claimed without evidence. The President claimed, he claimed without evidence.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They keep using that phrase. So you'll watch these same
- 9:37Speaker 1: exact anchors, same exact networks tell you seven million people
- 9:41Speaker 1: marched in the parade yesterday, according to organizers. According to
- 9:46Speaker 1: the organized who that would trust them, they're not objective.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You're supposed to go to the police or somebody like that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: The police department get a crowd estimate, according to organizers,
- 9:56Speaker 1: seven million. I didn't hear once. I didn't hear any
- 9:59Speaker 1: of them sayize claimed without evidence that there was not
- 10:03Speaker 1: seven million in these parades. There were police and officials
- 10:07Speaker 1: actually estimate about a million people, which means ninety nine
- 10:12Speaker 1: point nine percent of America didn't show up for this thing.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So they call it no Kings. They don't be fooled
- 10:17Speaker 1: by the name. Obviously there's no we don't have a king.
- 10:21Speaker 1: First of all, they proved that they one good thing
- 10:24Speaker 1: about these rallies, It proved we have no king. That
- 10:26Speaker 1: Trump's not a king. If there was a king, you
- 10:28Speaker 1: wouldn't have been able to have the rally. You wouldn't
- 10:30Speaker 1: been able to disrupt major cities all over America. You
- 10:33Speaker 1: wouldn't have been able to shut down huge cities, downtown towns.
- 10:37Speaker 1: You wouldn't be able to shut them down just like
- 10:39Speaker 1: that and protest all day if there was a king.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So they proved, I guess we could thank it for that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: They proved absolutely that there is no king. But again,
- 10:48Speaker 1: they were all in costumes and everything, and it looked
- 10:51Speaker 1: like Halloween at the Senior Center. Now, every one of
- 10:55Speaker 1: the cities where there was big turnout, Philadelphia, DC, Chicago,
- 10:58Speaker 1: New York, Boston all had one thing in common. Huge
- 11:02Speaker 1: crime problems, bad bad, bad neighborhoods, ghettos. They were no
- 11:08Speaker 1: marching against that, no protesting of that. They're just protesting Trump.
- 11:12Speaker 1: They want to preserve everything in their cities, the chaos,
- 11:15Speaker 1: the robberies, the homeless. They're fighting to preserve that. Now,
- 11:21Speaker 1: how do you know there wasn't as big a turnout
- 11:23Speaker 1: as they claim, Well, because they got caught on TV
- 11:26Speaker 1: using fake video showing enormous crowd enormous crowds. But it
- 11:31Speaker 1: turned out that video was from twenty seventeen. It wasn't
- 11:35Speaker 1: the right video. A CNN look at this. CNN reported
- 11:40Speaker 1: seeing a lot of Mexican flags at the parade in
- 11:43Speaker 1: La Okay, and there were a lot of celebrities there.
- 11:46Speaker 1: John Cusack had a message for Trump and his masked
- 11:50Speaker 1: goons on behalf of his hometown of Chicago. Go to hell,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you masked goons. That's the way they talked to a
- 11:57Speaker 1: law enforcement A bunch of masked goons. President Trump some
- 12:03Speaker 1: great memes. There's one. He had a million memes with
- 12:05Speaker 1: him as a king and a robe and a crown
- 12:08Speaker 1: and all that. The most amazing one was where he's
- 12:11Speaker 1: air dropping feces all over the protest. It's a nineteen
- 12:16Speaker 1: second clip. They're pretty amazing. He's got a couple of
- 12:18Speaker 1: people now that do this AI stuff for him and
- 12:21Speaker 1: pretty amazing stuff. So the no kings are out listen.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It's first of all, it has nothing to do with kings.
- 12:28Speaker 1: They don't think he's a king. This is the bottom
- 12:30Speaker 1: line on all this. It's not it. They don't think
- 12:33Speaker 1: he's a king. They don't. They've just run out of
- 12:36Speaker 1: names to call him. They called him Hitler a fascist.
- 12:39Speaker 1: They call him every name in the world. They've just
- 12:40Speaker 1: run out of name, so that's just no Kings. But
- 12:42Speaker 1: what it really was, it's just a Trump derangement syndrome. March.
- 12:47Speaker 1: It's just a hate Trump parade, that's all it is.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's a Trump derangement syndrome. March. It's a hate Trump parade,
- 12:55Speaker 1: that's all it is. It's just a way of the
- 12:57Speaker 1: hate Trump. And if you look at him, you might say,
- 13:00Speaker 1: why they're so old, these people. It's all senior citizens mostly.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It happens with senior citizens a lot. They have nothing
- 13:08Speaker 1: to do all day. They're not working anymore. They got
- 13:11Speaker 1: too much free time. Now, some might become obsessed with
- 13:15Speaker 1: sports and watching baseball and sports day in it, but
- 13:17Speaker 1: many of them they got nothing to do, so they
- 13:19Speaker 1: become obsessed with politics and they pick a side and
- 13:22Speaker 1: they sit there. And if you're on the left and
- 13:24Speaker 1: you're watching MSNBC all day or CNN, you're watching a
- 13:27Speaker 1: hell of a lot of fake news. You're getting all
- 13:29Speaker 1: fired up, and they've got nothing else to do. And
- 13:32Speaker 1: if you hang out with people in their thirties or forties,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they never discussed politics ever. They're talking about what club
- 13:38Speaker 1: they went to, what restaurant, who they're going out with.
- 13:40Speaker 1: They've got all sorts of stuff to tell, their problems
- 13:42Speaker 1: at work. They talk about everything. If you're hanging out
- 13:45Speaker 1: with people in their sixties, seventies, eighties, they're talking about
- 13:47Speaker 1: politics because they're not leading active lives. They don't have
- 13:50Speaker 1: a lot to talk about. So they become obsessed with this,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and they've all decided they're now political experts, and they
- 13:58Speaker 1: just get obsessed with it. And that's why you see
- 13:59Speaker 1: a lot a lot of these older people out there
- 14:02Speaker 1: marching like crazy. Hey, speaking of the Merrill race, I
- 14:05Speaker 1: should have pointed this out. Next debate, final debate is
- 14:08Speaker 1: Wednesday night. It's Wednesday night. It'll be on New York One,
- 14:13Speaker 1: which nobody sees, but hopefully it'll be all over online.
- 14:17Speaker 1: YouTube all of that and get seen. Cuomo did badly
- 14:22Speaker 1: in the first debate, Mam Donnie. He's a good debater,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but he was trying to be very neutral on things,
- 14:27Speaker 1: trying to be very word Saladay deliberately not to take
- 14:31Speaker 1: any extreme positions. Curtis, everybody believes won the debate, but
- 14:36Speaker 1: nobody knows if anybody noticed that he won the debate.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So that's the problem. But the final debate, second debate
- 14:41Speaker 1: is this Wednesday, and then early voting starts on Saturday.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Election begins on Saturday. Hey, by the way, some people say, well,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I look at those betting markets, you know, the poly markets,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I check that. Don't ever take those seriously. They change constantly.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It might show, you know, Curtis Wednesday fifth points. The
- 15:00Speaker 1: next week, it'll show Curtis loses by twelve points. Next
- 15:04Speaker 1: week it'll show Curtis wins by thirty. They just go
- 15:06Speaker 1: up and down. And remember, the only people betting are amateurs.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It's just a bunch of amateur opinions. And the problem
- 15:12Speaker 1: is those betting markets have a very bad track record.
- 15:15Speaker 1: They're not very accurate. They've been wrong many, many, many times.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You could list thousands of times selections they just got wrong.
- 15:22Speaker 1: The other problem is it's about money. People bet money,
- 15:26Speaker 1: so whoever's got the most money totally changes the bet
- 15:31Speaker 1: So they've found when they've researched these the polling market,
- 15:34Speaker 1: for instance, four accounts basically control the whole thing. Four
- 15:38Speaker 1: major accounts by a French trader who has tons of
- 15:41Speaker 1: money in there, so he can change the numbers and
- 15:43Speaker 1: the odds just like that, so it's not an accurate
- 15:46Speaker 1: reflection of anything. And each of those betting markets, there's
- 15:49Speaker 1: a couple of guys who are the major, major players
- 15:52Speaker 1: with massive amounts of money. They change the odds up
- 15:55Speaker 1: and down, so it doesn't reflect the public in any way. Hey,
- 15:59Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in minute eight hundred three two
- 16:02Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Is the number eight hundred three
- 16:05Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten
