Transcript
- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome in to jag Zam.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I'm kan Nannie Stevens, Brian Sexton and John Oser are
- 0:20Speaker 2: with me. It's week fifteen and Jaguars were winners last
- 0:24Speaker 2: week against the Titans. We're gonna get right into things
- 0:26Speaker 2: with our big things and the first one is want
- 0:28Speaker 2: to There's still four games left for the season, no
- 0:31Speaker 2: postseason chances, but this team is focused on what is ahead.
- 0:36Speaker 3: You get asked a lot about your team and where
- 0:38Speaker 3: we are on our record and this and that. But
- 0:41Speaker 3: I mean, you guys see it when you watch the game.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Our guys they fight to the end. They don't quit,
- 0:45Speaker 3: they battle. Yesterday we were able to make the place
- 0:49Speaker 3: right at the end of the game. Defense stepped up
- 0:51Speaker 3: huge at the end to really you know that fourth
- 0:55Speaker 3: and two, you know throw and then the last one
- 0:59Speaker 3: at the end of the game game you know what
- 1:01Speaker 3: about the eight or nine yard line there, you know
- 1:04Speaker 3: to stop him on fourth down as well. You know,
- 1:06Speaker 3: those are all plays and things that we keep talking about,
- 1:11Speaker 3: and yesterday we were able to finish that and finish
- 1:13Speaker 3: the game, and then that was really good to see.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Brian.
- 1:18Speaker 2: At this point in the season, I think every game
- 1:19Speaker 2: it's almost like is this the point where things kind
- 1:21Speaker 2: of drop off, but they still have four games left
- 1:23Speaker 2: and we're still.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Seeing that effort there. Obviously, we saw it last week
- 1:25Speaker 1: in Nashville.
- 1:26Speaker 4: You know, Kyle, we talk all the time about how
- 1:28Speaker 4: many young players there are in this roster who are
- 1:30Speaker 4: starting to climb a little bit. You know, we've seen
- 1:32Speaker 4: Brian Thomas Junior all season long, and Teg Bigsby when
- 1:35Speaker 4: he's been healthy in the lineup. Last week, we saw
- 1:37Speaker 4: Jerry and Jones. We've seen Ventrel Miller, Brenton Strange. These
- 1:41Speaker 4: guys they're too new in this thing to understand this.
- 1:44Speaker 4: They what they know is is they go out and
- 1:47Speaker 4: play football on Sundays. And that's why I think you
- 1:49Speaker 4: still see a lot of the fight because there are
- 1:51Speaker 4: plenty of young guys on this roster who are still
- 1:54Speaker 4: trying to prove themselves.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 6: I've always thought that once you get to game day,
- 1:59Speaker 6: players instinctively want to win. Sometimes during this time of year,
- 2:04Speaker 6: it's when you're trying to get to game day, there's distractions.
- 2:09Speaker 6: I've always thought that there's sometimes not pulling in the
- 2:12Speaker 6: same direction.
- 2:13Speaker 5: But they all want to win. They all want to
- 2:14Speaker 5: put good tape out.
- 2:16Speaker 6: So far, it still feels like there's a togetherness and
- 2:20Speaker 6: there's a collective want to the players insistill be there.
- 2:23Speaker 6: So look, in four games left in the season. History
- 2:30Speaker 6: tells us that when you're out of it, there'll be
- 2:32Speaker 6: a stinker somewhere and there'll be a couple where it
- 2:35Speaker 6: all sort of stays together and they win. I expect
- 2:37Speaker 6: them to win a couple of games, and I'll watch
- 2:40Speaker 6: the stinker.
- 2:41Speaker 5: When it has. Are you telling me there's another one coming?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Didn't we see that in Detroit?
- 2:45Speaker 6: Well, they weren't out of it yet, pointing when you're
- 2:49Speaker 6: out of it. Human nature says there's gonna be a
- 2:51Speaker 6: letdown at some point. But yeah, but Brian, to your point,
- 2:54Speaker 6: there's been some stinkers. You're three and ten, something's gonna stink.
- 2:57Speaker 2: That was a big enough singer. I don't think we
- 2:59Speaker 2: need another one. What a big big number two, which
- 3:01Speaker 2: is rookies. We're talking about energy from this team, a
- 3:03Speaker 2: lot of that coming from the younger players, one of
- 3:05Speaker 2: them having one of his best games so far. Jarion
- 3:07Speaker 2: Jones talked about the sacking dot.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Coach have been calling that pressure a little bit throughout
- 3:12Speaker 7: the game, but he never lined up with me being
- 3:15Speaker 7: to be in the blizz So this with the perfect
- 3:17Speaker 7: time they lined up with me being a bliss and
- 3:19Speaker 7: a little bit. That's kind of like one of my
- 3:20Speaker 7: favorite days to do. So when the opportunity came, I
- 3:22Speaker 7: made share with one of my best blisters.
- 3:26Speaker 2: John Jarion Jones. They were forcing the ball to Ryan
- 3:28Speaker 2: Thomas Junior. A lot of rookies had a good day
- 3:30Speaker 2: in Nashville last week.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yeah give me fifty three. Uh, Jaron Jones is right.
- 3:34Speaker 6: I mean, I think fans are starting to get the idea,
- 3:37Speaker 6: this is the guy that's gonna be easy to pull
- 3:38Speaker 6: forward going forward. And I did write it for Sunday
- 3:41Speaker 6: that I thought the theme of the game was Brian
- 3:44Speaker 6: Thomas Junior on offense, Jaron Jones on defense.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Uh.
- 3:48Speaker 6: Without either of those guys, they don't win that game.
- 3:51Speaker 6: And Uh, all week, Brian, I've been saying, and we've
- 3:55Speaker 6: talked about it, it's fun to watch these guys who
- 4:00Speaker 6: instinctive football players. To use an old cliche, you get
- 4:03Speaker 6: the idea that if you're all sitting around and said, hey,
- 4:06Speaker 6: let's go play some football outside for free, they'd be
- 4:09Speaker 6: all in immediately.
- 4:10Speaker 5: So they're fun to watch.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I think we've covered most of these young guys, but
- 4:13Speaker 4: there are a few that I'd still like to see
- 4:16Speaker 4: more of in the final month. John. I'd like to
- 4:17Speaker 4: see Keilan Robinson, who's now active and we had been
- 4:20Speaker 4: told back in training camp there was a situational role
- 4:23Speaker 4: for him in the offense.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Maybe we see that.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Would like to see some more of Jordan Jefferson, the
- 4:28Speaker 4: young defensive tackle who when he was in in mid
- 4:31Speaker 4: October to mid November, made some plays, got a sack,
- 4:34Speaker 4: powerful guy, really strong. Give me DeAndre Prince, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 4: the fifth round pick from Mississippi, Who's a guy who's
- 4:42Speaker 4: got the length, He's got all the prototypical the traits,
- 4:45Speaker 4: the size, and he's still pissed. I'm told that he
- 4:48Speaker 4: was trafted in the fifth round, hasn't obviously made enough
- 4:51Speaker 4: progress to get on the field. But he's another one
- 4:53Speaker 4: of those guys you could get excited about if in
- 4:55Speaker 4: the final month he does get on the field and
- 4:57Speaker 4: make some plays.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Sorry, I am to the point Kai where everybody asked me,
- 5:03Speaker 6: why should we care about these games because you.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Are out of it?
- 5:07Speaker 6: Does winning matter? I think winning matters. If the young
- 5:12Speaker 6: guys were talking about are improving while they're winning. If
- 5:16Speaker 6: after four more games you think, okay, they won three
- 5:20Speaker 6: because this bunch of young guys looks good, then I
- 5:23Speaker 6: think the answer is yes.
- 5:24Speaker 5: It's more important than draft position.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Very telling.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Our final big thing is going to be pick up
- 5:28Speaker 2: the pace. We haven't seen a ton from the offense,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and they did win that game against the Titans, but
- 5:32Speaker 2: it wasn't necessarily because of an offensive explosion.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Brian.
- 5:35Speaker 2: They seem to have a little bit better chance when
- 5:37Speaker 2: they were going up tempo, getting the running game going
- 5:39Speaker 2: and then forcing the ball to Brian Thomas Junior. Is
- 5:41Speaker 2: that the way the rest of the way for the offense?
- 5:43Speaker 4: The last thing you said, force the ball to Brian
- 5:45Speaker 4: Thomas Junior. That's been a drum beat all season long.
- 5:49Speaker 4: But if you watch Monday Night Football earlier this week,
- 5:52Speaker 4: you saw the Cincinnati Bengals throw the ball eighteen times
- 5:57Speaker 4: in the direction of Jamar Chase. He caught fourteen of
- 6:00Speaker 4: them for one hundred and seventy seven yards and two touchdowns.
- 6:03Speaker 4: So look, Doug will talk all the time about they
- 6:07Speaker 4: have the play design to go in the direction of
- 6:09Speaker 4: number seven. They're not new at this, but the quarterback
- 6:12Speaker 4: and the defense will in many ways dictate where the
- 6:15Speaker 4: ball ends up going. However, Zach, Zach Thomas, Zach Taylor, Taylor,
- 6:22Speaker 4: there you go. I was thinking Hall of Fame linebacker
- 6:25Speaker 4: Zach Taylor said, we can't throw it at him enough,
- 6:27Speaker 4: John eighteen times.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Just keep it simple.
- 6:31Speaker 4: So throw the ball at Brian Thomas eighteen times next
- 6:33Speaker 4: week against the Jets.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 6: And you don't want to do it to the point
- 6:36Speaker 6: where you're throwing in a triple coverage and getting picked.
- 6:39Speaker 6: So you have to be creative about it. You have
- 6:41Speaker 6: to make sure you're doing it the right way. Yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 6: I mean, I say, pick up the pace. All quarterbacks
- 6:49Speaker 6: or most quarterbacks who are young and figuring it out,
- 6:52Speaker 6: like to pick up the pace because it makes decision
- 6:55Speaker 6: making easier. You're throwing shorter, and it's all coming together quickly.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Uh.
- 7:01Speaker 6: The pace again, to me, isn't as important as getting
- 7:05Speaker 6: the ball to Brian Thomas Jr. And getting some passes downfield.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Uh so then everything's not compressed. I don't know what
- 7:12Speaker 6: pace that means, but I think it's something they gotta
- 7:15Speaker 6: work on.
- 7:15Speaker 5: And Uh yeah, BTJ all the way.
- 7:18Speaker 1: All right, stay with us here on Jagsam.
- 7:19Speaker 2: We'll do a little this or that when we come
- 7:21Speaker 2: back after the break. Welcome back to jag Zam, brought
- 7:34Speaker 2: to you by Field's Auto, Jacksonville's premier luxury auto group.
- 7:36Speaker 2: You can head over to Fieldsauto dot com.
- 7:42Speaker 5: This this.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Welcome back to jag Zam.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We're gonna talk a little this or that as Jaguards
- 7:53Speaker 2: are getting ready to take on the Jets this week.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Another throwback jersey game, the second one of the year,
- 7:59Speaker 2: and there's a my to go in the season. So
- 8:01Speaker 2: we talked a little bit about some of the rookies.
- 8:02Speaker 2: We're looking forward to seeing. Who's a player that really
- 8:05Speaker 2: needs to show out these final four games or so,
- 8:08Speaker 2: whether it's for a contract, whether it's to get at
- 8:10Speaker 2: themselves a starting job. Who are you looking at that
- 8:13Speaker 2: these four games is very important for individually?
- 8:16Speaker 4: That is a great question and one that I hadn't
- 8:18Speaker 4: really considered. I would say Devin Lloyd probably at the
- 8:21Speaker 4: top of the list. He's been inconsistent in his young career.
- 8:27Speaker 4: You can see the talent. He's better going forward, I
- 8:30Speaker 4: think than dropping into coverage. But is a guy who
- 8:35Speaker 4: is getting close to a contract and will have to
- 8:38Speaker 4: prove himself, so he could use a couple of really
- 8:40Speaker 4: good games, because he's been overshadowed by Ventre Miller all
- 8:43Speaker 4: season long.
- 8:44Speaker 6: I think a pretty obvious one would be Mason Smith
- 8:47Speaker 6: obviously there. I'll go with Parker Washington a little bit.
- 8:53Speaker 6: If he shows out, if he gives you four games
- 8:56Speaker 6: like the Houston game hundred yards, then I think you say, Okay,
- 9:01Speaker 6: this is a drafted guy. Would be the slot receiver
- 9:04Speaker 6: if he's inconsistent, if he's not starting to approach that
- 9:08Speaker 6: Christian Kirk level, which I'm gonna say he's gonna get there.
- 9:10Speaker 6: But then all of a sudden you have to think, Okay,
- 9:13Speaker 6: do we need you know, can he be part of
- 9:16Speaker 6: your three? Do you feel good about him and Brian
- 9:18Speaker 6: Thomas Junior? Or do you need something more there? He
- 9:21Speaker 6: has potential to do that, but doesn't it sort of
- 9:23Speaker 6: feel like he's still like we're still starting, like we're
- 9:27Speaker 6: still trying to figure that out with him?
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, Are we missing the obvious one here and
- 9:32Speaker 4: that's Mac Jones? Well yeah, I.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Think Mac obviously needs to He needs a contract. He's
- 9:37Speaker 2: just done this year for his own career, especially if
- 9:39Speaker 2: he wants to go try and be a starter somewhere
- 9:41Speaker 2: else that will be dictated by this or being a
- 9:44Speaker 2: backup wherever that might be. I think I would look
- 9:46Speaker 2: at Antonio Johnson. I think he got the start this
- 9:48Speaker 2: week at safety. Now with Darion Jones playing as well
- 9:51Speaker 2: as he is, kind of getting that nickel role, which
- 9:53Speaker 2: is originally I think where they saw Antonio Johnson just
- 9:56Speaker 2: seeing if maybe he can play safety as well, so
- 9:59Speaker 2: utilizing him in the last couple of games.
- 10:00Speaker 1: See how that ends up.
- 10:01Speaker 4: There's a bunch of guys in this rush. How about
- 10:03Speaker 4: and Cisco?
- 10:04Speaker 1: I mean that's a contract.
- 10:06Speaker 4: He has not had a good season and is going
- 10:09Speaker 4: to be looking to play somewhere next year. So for
- 10:12Speaker 4: Andre Cisco the last four weeks. Watch they'll have three
- 10:15Speaker 4: interceptions in the last four weeks.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Turn it.
- 10:17Speaker 4: That's kind of what he does.
- 10:19Speaker 5: All right.
- 10:19Speaker 2: We've got four more games, as we mentioned, winnable on paper.
- 10:24Speaker 2: If you guys were only going to win one of
- 10:25Speaker 2: these four games, which one would you want to win?
- 10:28Speaker 2: That would be Jets this week, Raiders Titans once again,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and then the Colts will be the final game of
- 10:33Speaker 2: the season.
- 10:35Speaker 1: But they brought the Colts because the end of the
- 10:38Speaker 1: area like the history there.
- 10:40Speaker 6: But yeah, I mean it's it's always it's always fun
- 10:44Speaker 6: to beat the Colts. Would be really cool is if
- 10:47Speaker 6: the Colts were playing for a playoff ber and and
- 10:52Speaker 6: you went into that house and won.
- 10:54Speaker 5: So spoiler look all be on. So when they beat
- 10:58Speaker 5: the Colts, I always smile.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yeah too, primarily because for so many years the Jaguars
- 11:03Speaker 4: struggled to compete against Peyton Manning and the Colts. But
- 11:05Speaker 4: in twenty twenty one, they came down here just needing
- 11:07Speaker 4: to win against a three or two and fourteen teams
- 11:12Speaker 4: with a rookie quarterback and an interim head coach, and
- 11:14Speaker 4: the Jaguars knocked him off so much of that they
- 11:17Speaker 4: painted the score in their locker room before the twenty
- 11:21Speaker 4: twenty two season, and of course that didn't go all
- 11:23Speaker 4: that well.
- 11:23Speaker 5: So I say the Colts don't do that.
- 11:25Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna go with Jets because I want
- 11:27Speaker 2: the prow of throwbacks to say and defeated.
- 11:28Speaker 1: So I want that. This week says here, we'll.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Talk a little bit about what's going on around the
- 11:32Speaker 2: NFL when we come back after the break here in Jagsam.
- 11:45Speaker 2: For eleven years, dream Finders Homes have been proud to
- 11:48Speaker 2: call themselves the official homebuilder of the Jacksonville Jaguars and
- 11:50Speaker 2: him does the dreamfinders homes dot com for all of
- 11:52Speaker 2: the available inventory and Go Jags.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Welcome back to jack Am.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Normally we talk a little bit about what's been going
- 12:02Speaker 2: on in the division, but we played the Titans, so
- 12:05Speaker 2: you know what happened there, and the Colts and Texans
- 12:07Speaker 2: were on a bye this week, so we're gonna talk
- 12:09Speaker 2: a little bit about the team we are playing next week,
- 12:11Speaker 2: and that's the Jets. They've lost four in a row.
- 12:13Speaker 2: They fell in overtime to the Dolphins this week. Kind
- 12:17Speaker 2: of a little bit felt like there may be last
- 12:19Speaker 2: stand as well. I know they've been dealing with a
- 12:21Speaker 2: lot coaching changes whatnot and kind of trying to figure
- 12:24Speaker 2: everything out.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Has it been going while there either.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Well, they just missed Robert Salah on what October twelfth,
- 12:30Speaker 4: and Joe Douglass has been gone for about a month now,
- 12:34Speaker 4: and there's been all sorts of Aaron Rodgers has a
- 12:39Speaker 4: prickly personality, and there's been sort of you know, banter
- 12:42Speaker 4: back and forth, you know about personnel and about the owner.
- 12:46Speaker 4: You just kind of feel like they're hanging on. That's
- 12:49Speaker 4: in New York. That train wreck is when you want
- 12:51Speaker 4: to get out of its way.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Yeah, it's They're very similar teams in a lot of ways.
- 12:55Speaker 6: The Jags and the Jets expectations and then the Jets
- 13:00Speaker 6: have lost seven games by six points or less. The
- 13:03Speaker 6: Jaggars have lost seven by five points or less. So
- 13:08Speaker 6: there are similarities in the sense that there's talent on
- 13:11Speaker 6: both sides.
- 13:12Speaker 5: The Jets have the capability of being really good offensively.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers is playing better of late, so they're dangerous,
- 13:18Speaker 6: but they're both kind of a mess. The Jets are
- 13:21Speaker 6: unusual in the sense that most teams that make a
- 13:24Speaker 6: mid season change don't do both coach and general manager.
- 13:29Speaker 6: So there's very much a feeling of, you know, every
- 13:33Speaker 6: team in that situation, I think, feels like you're just
- 13:35Speaker 6: waiting to the end.
- 13:36Speaker 5: The Jets really feel like, okay, we got four weeks
- 13:40Speaker 5: of sort of a house of cards.
- 13:44Speaker 6: Isn't the right thing, you know, just waiting with knowing
- 13:47Speaker 6: what the leadership is going to be, just getting through
- 13:49Speaker 6: to the end.
- 13:49Speaker 5: So but they're very, very very good defensively and.
- 13:53Speaker 6: The Jaguars aren't very good offensively, so that to me
- 13:57Speaker 6: is a tricky matchup.
- 13:58Speaker 5: For the Jags this week.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Well, you also a defense here, but that's really struggling
- 14:01Speaker 4: to stop the pass all season long. It's been historically
- 14:04Speaker 4: bad in terms of explosive plays. And that quarterback is
- 14:07Speaker 4: as good a mind as there is. He'll find your
- 14:10Speaker 4: weakness and take advantage of somebody on a regular basis
- 14:14Speaker 4: if you don't stop the run and force him to
- 14:16Speaker 4: stand in the pocket a little bit longer.
- 14:18Speaker 6: And the Jets a little bit are sort of an
- 14:22Speaker 6: example of maybe change too quickly. I think they were
- 14:26Speaker 6: two and three or two and four when they got
- 14:28Speaker 6: rid of their coach, such a long season, and it's
- 14:32Speaker 6: why it's very unusual. They've gone what like one and
- 14:34Speaker 6: nine since then. So there is sometimes some benefit to
- 14:41Speaker 6: just sort of stay in the course and see if
- 14:43Speaker 6: you can work through this. But they didn't, and they
- 14:46Speaker 6: clearly believe that a long term overall change was needed.
- 14:51Speaker 6: When you committed to Aaron Rodgers, you were very much
- 14:54Speaker 6: all in for the now. It'll be an interesting reset
- 14:59Speaker 6: for New York at season.
- 15:00Speaker 2: What that rebuild will and looking like will be interesting,
- 15:03Speaker 2: for sure. Yesterday's Monday night football broadcast alternate broadcasts was
- 15:08Speaker 2: The Simpsons for Monday Night Football with the Bengals at
- 15:10Speaker 2: the Cowboys. We were lucky enough to be a part
- 15:12Speaker 2: of the Toy Story broadcast last year.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have got to check
- 15:16Speaker 1: this out yet.
- 15:16Speaker 2: But it was pretty cool what they were able to
- 15:18Speaker 2: do with kind of the Simpsons set up for it,
- 15:21Speaker 2: and it's just a cool experience. And I'm so I
- 15:24Speaker 2: think it's so neat that they're being able to kind
- 15:26Speaker 2: of incorporate these things into the game.
- 15:28Speaker 4: It's not just a game anymore, is it. It's entertaining, Well,
- 15:31Speaker 4: it is a game technically, yeah, right.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Well, and.
- 15:36Speaker 6: It's clearly younger audience and Simpsons, I get is in
- 15:40Speaker 6: younger but trying to get other audiences to come.
- 15:46Speaker 5: In and experience it.
- 15:47Speaker 6: So yeah, it's an opportune time as well, because you
- 15:52Speaker 6: had two teams that realistically are probably not going to playoffs,
- 15:56Speaker 6: so you brain, you are meant to make an otherwise.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Uninteresting game a little more interesting. So it's cool.
- 16:05Speaker 1: What cartoons would you guys pick if you were going
- 16:07Speaker 1: to pick a cartoon.

- 16:13Speaker 6: So she can move the ball out of the way, right,
- 16:15Speaker 6: she can't leave it there.
- 16:18Speaker 1: She set a standard. Charlie Brown cannot get the football.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I don't know how that many cartoons.
- 16:27Speaker 5: On with this the one.
- 16:28Speaker 6: What I can think of, a little.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Little new tunes I think could be good. I think
- 16:31Speaker 2: i'd probably go, well, my New England roots. I would
- 16:33Speaker 2: go a family guy, just because Peter Griffin trying to play.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Would be interesting. And anytime you can get Stewie involved
- 16:39Speaker 5: a good day.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh absolutely sorry to get the football shape.

- 17:38Speaker 6: Hit the five step touchdown, the take for six and
- 17:43Speaker 6: the Jaguars not the league.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, as tankos, the team goes. When he plays well,
- 18:02Speaker 2: this team gets a win. And hopefully you can do
- 18:04Speaker 2: that again this week against the Jets. That's miked up
- 18:06Speaker 2: this week, we want to check it out. Had a
- 18:08Speaker 2: victory micd up in a while, so definitely want to
- 18:10Speaker 2: check that out at Jaguars dot com.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Are you guys getting into this week?
- 18:13Speaker 4: I'm going to chase down Phil Rausher to the offensive
- 18:15Speaker 4: line coach.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Back to back weeks.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I know that there technically was a sack, but there
- 18:19Speaker 4: was no yardage lost last week in Tennessee. So two
- 18:22Speaker 4: really good weeks protecting Mac Jones and see what the
- 18:26Speaker 4: formula looks like to keep that going against the Jets.
- 18:28Speaker 6: Yeah, this team has pass blocked well, I mean it's
- 18:30Speaker 6: it's uh with co Lannon in there as well, with
- 18:32Speaker 6: Ton Harrison getting scratulated with sickness.
- 18:34Speaker 4: And I told by Jeff Loggi and he played really well.
- 18:36Speaker 5: And Cole's wont and out in the NFL.
- 18:38Speaker 6: So and so is Josh I figured out. I'll I
- 18:42Speaker 6: have Jaran Jones on the ozone podcast. And he's such
- 18:46Speaker 6: an interesting guy sometimes when these guys come in as
- 18:49Speaker 6: fifth year seniors, h I meaning having played five years
- 18:54Speaker 6: in college, a little more maturity, a little more ready.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Uh. He really strikes me as that guy who is
- 19:00Speaker 5: gonna be a team leader.
- 19:01Speaker 4: I have an extreme question for you. Yes, all right,
- 19:03Speaker 4: So Aaron Rodgers is two and one at EverBank Stadium.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 19:07Speaker 4: That's true? But he's never lost to the Jaguars. So
- 19:09Speaker 4: who beat him?
- 19:10Speaker 5: Saints?
- 19:11Speaker 4: Right? Yeah? Opening Day twenty twenty one or twenty twenty two,
- 19:17Speaker 4: the Saints had to move their home game out of
- 19:21Speaker 4: New Orleans because of Hurricane Ida, and so they played
- 19:24Speaker 4: it here because the Jaguars were on the road, and
- 19:27Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were taken apart by the
- 19:31Speaker 4: Saints that day thirty eighty three.
- 19:33Speaker 6: I think they almost had more wins in the stadium
- 19:36Speaker 6: this year than it was close.
- 19:38Speaker 5: It was going to be all right.
- 19:41Speaker 2: We will get into that matchup against the Jets a
- 19:43Speaker 2: little bit more on jag Zam tomorrow, so make sure
- 19:45Speaker 2: you join us on Thursday.
