- Janelle 00:09 Welcome back to the alighted way we are going to jump right from the frying pan straight into the flames of a different fire in this next episode, Janelle is in conversation with Janet, who was a dragon rider in another time and place and was injured. She was then reunited with her dragon in 2013 this show is about pushing limits into the unknown, discovering who we really are, and celebrating the moments that make us feel alive. So let's get into it. Okay, carrying on from our conversation. Do you want to talk a little bit just about dragons and what they mean to you? Janet 00:53 Sure, I've always liked dragons, and in 2013 when we went on that course with Annette, it was an awakening where I was much more aware that they were there and what my situation or my role anyway. So the vision that I had, I was a dragon rider, but I was a squad leader, and when we were tricked and attacked and when we lost a lot of our riders and our dragons, it was a very emotional response. So after that, it was sort of, you could sort of feel them passing from our world. And if you wanted to visit, you had to sort of go into the is it the fifth dimension? A different dimension, a different dimension? I'm not sure what to call it, but I mean, you can talk to them. They're protectors, mostly in my world, but they're a friend, and like us, they have lots of different personalities. They function in different roles. You were Janelle 02:16 saying earlier that the ones that hang around you. Are they more just here, just to be with you, or are you doing work with them? Janet 02:29 Yeah, I do some work with them. Like everyone smile. I just tune in to see how they are. They see how I am. They see how people I care about are, and they will go where they're needed, like they're not always here, if, if I think about them, they're not very far away. In that dimension, nothing is very far away, right? Because it's almost instant. It's like a thought or a prayer. So I find in times of turmoil when I'm feeling a little less than perfect, or I'm feeling insecure, or I'm afraid, and I mean, those are all normal type of emotions, there are times where I will curl up against my dragon when I sleep and I'm safe. I know I'm safe because whatever comes at me, they will wake me up to make sure I'm safe. Janelle 03:31 Because you were also saying that you send your dragons like to family needed. Janet 03:37 My niece was going through a little bit of hassle with her father in law. He struck his son, and she was pretty upset, and so I sent the dragons to watch over her and make sure that you know, maybe her father in law wasn't such an aggressive person, because they do calm people. I think that's one of the reasons people like to be in my house. And I think the reason it is is because I am watched over. And there's a peace, almost a calmness, that comes when you enter my facility, you would be able to tell me better whether or not that's true. But, you know, not everybody feels it, but my sister's always amazed how well she sleeps here, right? And I'm thinking that's because, you know, mind you, I don't spend a lot of time being aggressive either, so we're both pretty calm most of the time. Janelle 04:47 So going back to the Marie diamond Annette, course, were you? Were you killed in that vision you had? So you were wounded, though I was wounded. Were wounded. Janet 05:01 I have trouble with my left chest and shoulder, and it's from that. So because I've always thought, Oh, this is really weird and and it's almost like being recovering from a wound. And when I'm having trouble with it, I usually ask for a little bit of fire just to help burn away the pain, because I like taking drugs, but I will not much pain. Janelle 05:29 So in that experience, you reconnected with your dragon from that time. Janet 05:41 Yes, okay, apparel and all his buddies. Janet 05:50 It's not usual for a person to have more than one or two dragons. So if you can call dragons, or if you're a squad leader, or if, then, I don't know if it's because of the energy that they hold or not. A lot of people can handle that amount of energy that they can exceed. I've even had them like if I've had concerns, we had lots of homeless running around here, and I asked them to, like, watch over the property, and, you know, sort of make sure that everything was safe. So, you know, I've expanded from my little domain to the whole property, yeah, which is kind of a good thing. And then we decided that, and I'm sure some of these ideas come from them, we decided as a board that, you know, we should, you know, cut up the trees, the evergreens and whatnot, so that there's a line of sight kind of thing. So I'm thinking that that's been helping us very cool, very cool. Janelle 07:02 So then, when you think of them, so do you talk to them a lot about just, like, your worries or your, you know, like have conversations. Is it that kind of relationship, or are they just Janet 07:18 sort of there? They're there, and I don't know if you'd call them a conversation, or Janelle 07:25 is it more like thought to Janet 07:27 Yeah, I'd say it's more of a thought, or sometimes it's even an emotional reaction, right where you're sort of pondering a question and and somehow it's just, you know, you know when you're right and you can't, sort of get there yet, they either encourage you to be patient or they give you, you know, a different direction. Cool, and it's very cool. I love my dragons, so they're not my dragons. They're telling you, deans, they can't be mine. Janelle 08:12 They're just choosing to hang out with you. Janet 08:14 Yeah, that's right, yeah. They might decide Nope, just because you have a friend doesn't mean you're gonna keep it. Janelle 08:26 Why do you think they're around like, do you think, like, in a bigger picture, do you think that they're here to help women? Do you think they're here to just help humanity? It was interesting because Denise Lynn posted a post where she saw a major dragon emerging from the earth, and was seemed ancient and was free to come back into this dimension and fly freely and be here. Do you sort of feel any of that? Janet 09:04 Yeah, I actually do, and I think they're coming back because we need the balance we don't have, like the elephants are, are starting to dwindle, and they were definitely an anchor for us. And there's other things going on, and I think we are close to an awakening that we've never had before. And when you look at the politics and the people that are in things and that kind of thing is, I don't see that as a good thing in a lot of cases, and I think they're here to help us awaken, and once we're awakened, I think you'll see a shift in how we're governed and how people treat each other, because we're getting there, but we're not there yet, and I think the dragons. Have something to do with that, more understanding, more compassion. Janelle 10:05 Yeah. I tend to think of them as wise, wise Janet 10:08 beings, yeah, yeah. And I think that, you know, if people open up their hearts, they're they're guided, and I think we need that. Janelle 10:18 Do you see them as like, spiritual creatures, mythical creatures for like, power animals in like, a shamanic sense. Janet 10:33 I don't see them as animals, okay. I see them as entities, okay, sort of like I believe in angels. I believe in drinking like they're very intelligent and they're very caring, and I think they're here to watch over us, maybe not so much men as women or but definitely to watch over everybody. I guess I the way I look at it is we are here on this plane, and anytime I want to visit, I just go to the other plane, and they're there. It's, it's quite nice because they're and I, I don't know why I think this, but they, they have a very comfortable life. They have shelter, they have food, they have people grooming them. They're well taken care of, and in return, they only play pranks a few times a year. They have a sense of Janelle 11:42 humor. What I find interesting is I've been doing a ton of research on dragon slaying in the past. So for instance, St Patrick, you know, basically vanquished all serpents out of Ireland. And Apollo, when he took over the Delphi Oracle, he had to kill the serpent that was there. Archangel Michael also slayed a dragon. And in those senses, I feel that the dragon represented a feminine energy could be, yeah. And then there's the Medusa. Yeah, Perseus with Medusa, yeah. And then it's fascinating, because Athena then put Medusa his head on her shield, and used it on her shield from there on out. Janet 12:41 Yeah, very cool. Let's see what else? What was I reading? Depending on whether the sword was pointed up or pointed down in the pictures, determined whether or not that entity was a friend or foe of the dragon, but I can't remember which is which, but and that made kind of sense to me, because in like any story, right, you can have good dragons and bad dragons. So if Archangel Michael slayed a dragon, perhaps it was a negative dragon. I don't know enough of the story to say one way or another, but I do know that there has to be a little of both in history, don't you think? And based on my experience when my squad was just totally wiped out. I had to believe that's true. Janelle 13:47 Do you know who you were fighting? You know what? Janet 13:50 I didn't write that down, okay, but it was definitely sort of the same story. Now they want to take over the world, enslave people, you know, that kind of stuff. Yes, now I wish I would have made better notes. Janelle 14:12 I mean, it's just, it's something's important to you, and you've recorded it, it, you know, like, that's what I found with all of like, my journals and stuff from all of my travels, it's like going back and reading through it takes me right back to where it is to that experience. Janet 14:31 Actually, just reading this, it was amazing how much came back to me and how quickly it came back to me. Because I remember seeing there was a dancer, a native dancer, and she was in her, you know, like, well, dressed up the whole nine yards. And when I researched it, it was a dance from when a girl becomes a woman, and was. To that acceptance of that role. And it's after I thought, well, for a while I thought, well, maybe I'll have more to do with my dragons now. So I think I sort of moved a notch so and I mean, all the things that I learned up until that point definitely serve me in achieving so, you know, the diamond colors and the meditations and the so it was like preparation. But, and I don't think you can just sort of poof see your drag. I can hardly see yourself. Janet 15:45 Apparel is three different colors. He has some gold and some orange. He has these eyes that are like the emerald sea. Janelle 16:01 And from getting to know apparel, would you say he has some different skills, Janet 16:11 like he was, he was one of the leaders, yeah, like, just like we would have hierarchy, you know, if you got a squad, then your dragon would be squad leader too. Like it, he's probably have has more leadership skills than the average dragon. Yeah, let's, let's put it that way, so maybe he's a little bit more Janelle 16:37 diplomatic, yeah, well, and in people come and he as a leader of whatever, yeah, Janet 16:45 yeah, to him, Janelle 16:50 he's pretty awesome. Well, I know, like the one that I've worked with, or chap, he was little, like he was under, under five feet, 555, and a half, and little like a dog, but he was seen as a as a shaman of of the dragons, you know. So I think they definitely have different roles, for sure. Janet 17:16 Yeah, I would imagine that it's like anything in life. It's sort of a reflection of you. Janelle 17:25 Yeah, that's great. Janet 17:27 It was so exciting, too. And forget who it was. One of the ladies anyways, she and she wanted to name her dragon, but she didn't figure like I guess either wasn't able to tell her or so we actually used our rods to figure out what their names were. She was so excited, I wonder if she still does was so exciting, and I find that I'll meet people and start talking about my dragon and apparel, and then they they find their own connection that itself is special. Janelle 18:14 So you're sort of opening up the field for others to do what they need to do around it. Janet 18:24 Yeah, with dragons. Well, just to be aware, I think is important, very cool. Very cool makes me happy. It's one of my Happy Places. Janelle 18:38 And I mean, from 20 to 13 to now. I mean, that's 11 years, Janet 18:44 yeah, and he's still around, because Janelle 18:54 that's sort of like a long term. Janet 18:56 I think he's always been there. Yes, my awareness wasn't right. I think he's always been with me, okay? Because there's been times where and it could be angels too. Who knows where I would have been in a whole bunch of trouble if I wouldn't have listened whoever was guiding me. When I was 21 I went to Europe with a friend of mine and we bought a car in Amsterdam, and we just live. The Audubon is really a crazy place, very crazy, very high speed cars there. We didn't really need gas and I didn't really need to stop, but for whatever reason, it was sort of get off this road. We went up this ramp, we stopped at this gas station, and we sort of parked so you could see the autobahn, and almost as soon as we got out of the car, there was, like a 12 car pileup we would have been writing on the table. So I was kind of glad I listened. Thank you. I think they watch keep you out of trouble. Janelle 20:14 Is there anything we haven't talked about that you feel is important? About dragons, or you with dragons, or Janet 20:28 pretty much, well, other than I think they're gorgeous, I find a lot of peace and serenity comes from my connection, and it's kind of nice to know that, should I be informed and end up in a vegetative space, I won't be alone. Isn't that an awful thing to say? Janelle 20:54 You'll be in good company. Oh yeah, Janet 20:57 I think that's why I've never been lonely. You know, some people, they get really lonely and they're sort of beside themselves. That is not a state I've ever sort of been in, and I kind of think that's fine, because they've always been with Janelle 21:19 me.
