- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I scan people medically.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: I'm like a human MRI.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: And I can see in my mind's eye broken bones, torn ligaments, spiral infections, bacterial infections, things like that.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Thoughts, when they come into our heads, at least are neutral.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Thoughts have no meaning until we give them a meaning.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: So when we try and control things, we're in fear.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: And when we recognize that we're trying to control something, no, you're in fear.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: And then use two-minute rules.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: It's gonna kill me.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: It's a fake fear.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the show.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So this week's guest is Julie Ryan, who is a medium, psychic, and just a really awesome woman.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: You guys are gonna love our conversation.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: She talks about basically what happens when you die and how she has started talking to dead people, but she's also just like a totally quote unquote normal like businesswoman.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So her energy is just awesome.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: And I think you're really gonna love this conversation.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: And she just shares her story and then what she's really learned from talking to people that have crossed over.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And she also has a program where she teaches people how to work with people that have crossed over and the angels and all of that stuff.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So her work is really awesome.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: You'll definitely want to check her out and give her a follow.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I know she has her own podcast as well.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: So I think you guys are gonna really enjoy this episode.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: As far as announcements here, we have a lot going on over here at Elise Breathes.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: First of all, I have my membership Beyond the Matrix, which I'm so excited about because it is just something that's coming from deep within me and feels very divinely inspired because I've been getting these really strong messages to share channeled messages.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I've been looking to create a space where I can really do this in a supported and sacred way.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: And creating this membership is the perfect way to do it.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like joining my inner circle, right?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Where you are gonna have VIP access to things that other people won't have access to, discounts other people won't have access to, special offers other people won't have access to.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Plus, you get my weekly channeled transmission that is really meant to raise your frequency and it's meant to really shift you into like that 5D perception of reality.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: So, you know, a lot of times we go about our day not even realizing that we're operating from old programming, that we're looking at things through the lens of lack and scarcity, that we're operating from the old paradigm.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So these weekly messages are really meant to shift you into that new paradigm thinking so that you're, you know, more consciously and more continuously operating from that frequency of abundance, from the infinite, from that 5D new paradigm, new earth frequency, so that you can create your reality, you know, in the frequency of the new earth.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna get those weekly channeled messages, plus a monthly recorded breathwork session, plus a monthly QA, plus access to all of my masterclasses from the past and all of the ones that I will do in the future.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: So it's a really special place, a really special membership.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: And um, I would love to have you.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: You can click the link below to get all the info or just reach out to me.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's a great way to start.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: If you're new to my world and you really want to experience what it's all about to uh receive my transmissions and be in my energy, then this is the place to be.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: So we have that.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: And then also right now for the month of February, I'm running a special incentive on joining my certification program, the Metamorphosis Method.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: This is my absolute favorite program to teach because I basically get to go so deep into the nuance of transmuting and healing trauma and the many different ways that we do that through breath work, energy work, through the tools that I've created in the metamorphosis and just going deep into the trauma framework that I've created and really understanding how to pinpoint and transmute trauma for people and really support them in doing that in a rapid and efficient way.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And it's really such an important piece.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Like if you're a coach, if you're a healer, if you work with clients, having these tools, in my opinion, is a non-negotiable if you want to help people move quickly.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Because the reason why people don't move quickly is because they come up against their trauma, they come up against their wounding, they come up against their old programming.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And if you know how to potently help them shift it, then your clients will move really quick.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: So, such a great tool to have in your toolbox, such an amazing certification to have to draw on in your work with clients and just to use for yourself too, because you will grow immensely in this program.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: It's a nine-month program.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: We meet twice a month and you also do practice sessions with people.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: So you get a ton of healing, a ton of movement, and a ton of information.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: If you are interested, please reach out to me to apply so we can just determine if you're a good fit for the program.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: And then also right now, along with the$2,000 off, you're also gonna get a nine-month membership to be on the Matrix.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: So super excited about this for the month of February.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: So if this feels like something that's aligned for you, reach out to me and we can chat about it.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: And I will just leave it there for now.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Enjoy the episode.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Hi, everyone.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the show.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: So I am super excited to introduce you to today's guest, Julie Ryan, who is a psychic, medical intuitive, and can sense what medical conditions and illnesses a person has and facilitate energetic healings.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: She can communicate with spirits, both alive and dead, and she can scan animals, access people's past lives, and she can tell how close to death someone is.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Her book, Angelic Attendance, What Really Happens as We Transition from This Life Into the Next, describes a series of events that involves angels, multitudes of deceased family and friends, and spirits of deceased pets, and countless serendipitous and miraculous moments, which I'm sure we'll talk to her more about today.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: So, welcome to the show, Julie.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Thanks for having me.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I'm delighted to join you.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm so excited to connect with you.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: You know, my friend Andrea Donnelly has been telling me about you for a while.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: So I'm so excited to just connect with you and get to know you a little bit better.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Can you just start out by telling us maybe a little bit, not your whole life story, but maybe just some of those pivotal moments for you that led you down the path and got you to where you are now?
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I'm a businesswoman and an inventor who learned how to do woo-woo, and I'm a buffet of psychicness.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: How's that for a start?
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: It's true.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Once you connect with spirit, then you just you can access anything that you want to access.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: It makes it really fun.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: And so, at least I really am.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: I'm a businesswoman.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: I've founded nine companies in five industries, and I'm an inventor of surgical devices sold throughout the world.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: So I was always interested in spiritual things, but I didn't know a thing.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: I guess I was in my early 20s and I had a friend who gave me a reading with a psychic.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, that'll be fun.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: And so I went, and the person said a lot of stuff that resonated.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, that's cool.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: And I went on with my life and didn't think about it anymore.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: And then when I was, I guess, in my 40s, I had a friend who gave me a book called Anatomy of the Spirit by Carolyn Mace.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: And she called herself a medical intuitive.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, what the heck is that?
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: I'd never heard that name before.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: And I had been in the hospital supply industry for a long time at that point.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: And so I was interested to know more.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: And back then we didn't have the internet yet.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: So I did the old-fashioned thing, Elise, and I went to a bookstore, a Barnes and Noble actually, to see if there was anything else on this information, on this medical intuitive stuff.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And I found a book called Hands of Light by Barbara Brennan.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: I know that book.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: She's a former NASA physicist who parlayed very complex quantum physics principles into understandable English for the non-scientific mind.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: That would be me.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: And I read her book and also wanted to know more.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: So I called her school and I said, Do you guys have anybody teaching this stuff in my area?
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: And lo and behold, they did.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: And this was 30 years ago.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: And I started studying with a woman who's now in her 80s, and she's my mentor and has become my dear friend.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: And I still talked to her usually at least once a quarter, if not more often.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: And I took six years of curriculum.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: That was the equivalent of paying for a PhD or an MD.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: It was expensive.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: And I learned a lot.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: And then I was getting questions from family and friends saying, Why are you doing this?
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: And I'd say, I don't know.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: And they'd say, Well, what are you going to do with it?
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: And I'd say, I don't know.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: In the meantime, I'm a wife and a mom and a businesswoman and just doing my regular life stuff.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: And then gosh, fast forward to about 10 years ago when my mother died in 2002.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: I was with her, and so were the other family members.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: But when she actually died, I was alone with her.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And I watched this phase, this sequence of events transpire where there were angels and deceased loved ones and the spirits of deceased pets in the room.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: And I thought, okay, this is interesting.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Had never seen that before.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: There were these phases that she went through that now, fast forward, I call them the 12 phases of transition that everybody goes through.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: And we can talk about that more in a minute.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: One day I was with Susan and she was doing a healing on me.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: And when she's doing a healing on me, Elise, there are deceased loved ones' spirits on either side of the table.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: I'm on a massage table face up with a blankie on, and she's doing an energetic healing on me.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Well, one day this dead Pope spirit shows up.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: And he was obviously a Pope.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: He had the whole Pope outfit on, the hat, the whole nine yards.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: So the pointy, big, tall, pointy hat that they wear.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: And I said to him, Well, who are you?
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: And he said, I'm Clement.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: And I said, Okay, never heard of a Pope Clement.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: And he laughed and he said, I was number six.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: And I said, Okay, how can I help you?
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: Why are you here?
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: And he said, You're supposed to teach the world what happens when somebody dies.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: And I said, Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I'm a businesswoman and people are gonna think I'm nuts if I do that.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: And he said, Yeah, just get on with it.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: And people are so afraid.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: They don't know whether they're gonna fly or fry when they die.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: And who knows what happens.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: And it's up to you to teach them.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: So I go in the car to go home, Elise.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: And I looked up Pope Clement VI.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Well, come to find out, this guy was in office during the Black Plague when two-thirds of Europe died.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: And he's best known for his prayers for the dying and his prayers for the dead.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: And I thought, okay, Ryan, you can't make that up.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: No.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: And that's really what set me on the trajectory.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Several other things fell into place.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: I sold a couple of companies.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I thought, okay, what am I going to do next?
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: And here I am.
- 13:22unknown: Wow.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: So you help people connect with loved ones that have crossed over.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: You help people learn how to connect with them themselves.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: In my buffet of psychicness, here are the options.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: I scan people medically.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: That's the most of what I do because that's what people ask me to do the most.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: So I scan people medically.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: I'm like a human MRI.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: And I can see in my mind's eye broken bones, torn ligaments, spiral infections, bacterial infections, things like that.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Sometimes, often I will watch, often, every time, I will watch energetic healings that will take place.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: And they can take the form of something getting added, something getting removed.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: I watch procedures all the time in my mind's eye that emulate what I saw in the operating room for all those decades when I was in that industry.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I see healings, Elise, that utilize methodologies and devices that haven't been invented yet.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: And it's really quite extraordinary the things I get to see in my mind's eye and then relay to my client or my caller.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: I have a podcast and now a syndicated radio show, nationally syndicated radio show in the US, where it's called Ask Julie Ryan.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: And people call in every week and they ask me to scan them because I got a pain or something going on physically.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: So I'll do that.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm very descriptive with them about what I'm seeing because if they can envision it, it helps integrate the healing into their body.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: And it's complementary to Western and Eastern medicine as we know it, meaning this is part of the healing equation to help the person heal themselves.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Because we all heal ourselves.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: No medical provider or doctor or healer heals anybody else.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: We heal ourselves.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: That's offering number one.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: Offering number two, we can talk to deceased loved ones, to your point earlier.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: And anybody that's deceased, doesn't matter whether you knew them or not.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: We connect with them and have a conversation with them.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: We can do past life stuff.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: Those are really fun.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: We can find out what happened in a past life and how does that correlate with your current life?
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: We can talk to your pets.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: We can talk to your deceased pets.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: We can scan them energetically.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: We can see what's going on with Fluffy.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: Why does Fluffy seem lethargic?
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: And we'll see what's happening there, facilitate healings there, talk to angels, talk to spirit guides, just really connect with spirit, and then everything else is just a matter of asking the questions.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: And I teach people how to do this all over the world.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Andrea, our mutual friend, is a graduate of my class.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: And so it's really an amazing opportunity to not only help others, at least, but it also expands our own spirituality.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: Well, that's amazing.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: It's all incredibly fascinating.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: I guess I'd like to talk a little bit more about the medical intuitive stuff because it's so fascinating.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: So do you just see it?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: If you were giving someone a scan, you just see in your mind's eye like what the problem is or what the infection is.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I turn my abilities on and off at will.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: I don't walk around scanning people or looking for ghosts.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: I just live a regular normal life.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: You don't walk up to people on the street and tell them what's wrong with them.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: No.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: I don't say, hey, your dead grandma's behind you and she wants you to do this and this.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: No, I think that's an invasion of privacy.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: And especially with the medical stuff.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: I abide by HIPAA here in the US, the medical privacy laws.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: And I have a company in the data privacy and security industry.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: I still have it.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm probably a little anal as far as privacy goes.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I turn my abilities on and off at will.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: It takes me a nanosecond.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: I'll close my eyes.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: I'll watch a laser beam come from my body wherever I am and hook into the person's body wherever they are.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Doesn't matter.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: They could be on Mars or in a different solar system.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter because it's my spirit connecting with theirs.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: And then I'll envision shooting energy from their feet up through the top of their head and things will show up.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: It's like I, as I mentioned, it's like I'm an X-ray or a CT scan or a human MRI.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: What happens, Elise, is something will be identified immediately thereafter.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: There will be some type of energetic healing that will begin.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: And then I describe it to them, and then I'll shoot energy through them again.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: So something will be identified, they'll be healing.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Something else will be identified, they'll be healing.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: It goes very fast.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: We laugh a lot because the analogies that come in from spirit in my mind's eye are presented in a way that we can understand it through our human frame of reference.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: So I may tell you your elbow looks like whipped cream or something crazy like that.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: It adds a lot of humor to it, which is fun.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: And it helps negate fear when somebody isn't feeling well and they're like, oh my gosh, is it a tumor?
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: No, it's not a tumor.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: You have leaky gut or whatever.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Or you're full of mold or something like that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: I talked to a woman this morning, scanned her.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: I'm in Birmingham, Alabama.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: She's in Boston.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: And she was having tremors in her hands.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: And the doctors didn't know they weren't seeing lesions like for MS or anything.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: Well, when I got her on my radar, at least she was full of mold.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: And I said, When did the tremors start?
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: And she told me, I said, Do you have a mold problem in your house?
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: She said, No, my house has been almost completely redone.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I said, When did they start it?
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Well, it was about the time the tremors started.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: And she was living in a 75-year-old house on a lake outside of Boston.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: And I said, You've had mold exposure.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: And that's what's causing the tremors.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: So we cleared the mold out of her system.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: I always supply something that they can do on their own to help the physical body.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: And then that helps the energetic healing integrate into their body.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: So it's really fascinating what I get to see.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: That is really fascinating.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: And then the other thing is I keep thinking about what you said about just seeing the Pope and the Pope telling you that you're supposed to tell people what happens when they die, which I find to be really fascinating because also I just think one of the greatest, I don't know the word, follies of mankind is like being afraid of death, right?
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: I think it causes so many problems for people.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: So what would you say is the answer to that question?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: What happens when you die?
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: Like in your interpretation or in your words?
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: We're surrounded by angels and the spirits of deceased loved ones and pets that are there to greet us and lead us to heaven.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: I was raised Roman Catholic and I'm a practicing Catholic now.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: And there's a prayer said, and now I'm a cafeteria Catholic.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: I need to put that caveat in there.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: So I take what makes sense to me.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: I don't pay attention to the stuff that doesn't.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: And I find that it's fascinating that at the end of every Roman Catholic funeral, there's a prayer said called in paradisum, which in Latin translates to into paradise.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: And it talks about how the angels and your loved ones will greet you and lead you into paradise.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: And when I was writing my book, Angelic Attendance, about this, about what happens when we transition, I found that prayer originated as a fifth century Gregorian chant.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: And I have to believe, Elise, that people, we all come in with the ability, we all come in with intuitive or telepathic ability, whatever you want to call it.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: And I have to believe that people throughout the ages were able to see in their mind's eye this happening, what I see in my mind's eye.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: And perhaps it took till the fifth century till somebody was learned enough, because you know, everybody was illiterate back then.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: Even the guys in the temple, the priests and the Pharisees and the whatever from the Bible, these guys were all the ministers, and those guys were, they were most of them were illiterate too.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: But it took till the fifth century, perhaps, till somebody was well educated enough to be able to write this down.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: What everybody saw, and put it in the form of a chant.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: And certainly some of the most well-educated people were men living in monasteries and synagogues back then.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: They're the keepers of the records.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: That's where all the historic documents and scriptures, not just biblical in nature, but really even historic, of any historic value, they're found in these ancient monasteries.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Sometimes they're buried in jars, in ceramic jars or clay jars.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: You think of the Dead Sea Scrolls and some of the other documents that have been found by archaeologists and really how important they are into the history of civilization and of religion, for that matter.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's so interesting.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: And I think it's like interesting too that it's portrayed as something to be afraid of.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: But then there's also this knowledge right in front of us that says it's the exact opposite.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: Well, I think it's been over the generations, it didn't used to be that people were afraid of it.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: It was just part of living.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: You died.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: You were born and then you died.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: The old, like in the Lion King, the circle of life for the people on the plane, the animals on the planes.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: Well, it's the same for people.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: And I believe that it got corrupted to Pope Clement, the sixth point, got corrupted as religions got more and more powerful, and they wanted to control the masses.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Because certainly fear is the best way to control the masses.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: And we saw that in the pandemic just a couple of years ago.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: What everybody was so afraid.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: And governments and religions and different cultures have used fear as the best control for getting people to do what they want them to do since the beginning of time.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: The churches are no different.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: So I guess that brings me based on your abilities to tune in to what's going on.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: How would you describe what you see going on in the world right now and like where we're kind of at as a species and like the point that we're at as humans and our own evolution?
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Like, how would you kind of describe where we're at right now and what we're kind of seeing on the planet right now?
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: We're always innovating and evolving as a species and have been since the speaking of time, and our spirits are as well.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: And we're all here to create.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: And we create out of the contrast.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: When we know what we don't want, it helps us create what we do want.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Now, having said all that, people will say, pundits on TV a lot of the time will say the America is more divided than they've ever been in the history of the world.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: I want to yell at this great and say, have you ever heard of the Civil War here in America?
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: We just didn't have 24-7 news feeds and social media telling us how divided we are.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: Nonstop.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: But certainly, I don't know that we could be as divided as we were in the Civil War during that time.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: And I live in the deep south and I'm a Yankee.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: And I grew up in Ohio.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: As a matter of fact, for Thanksgiving, I'm often asked to bring Yankee dressing because they make cornbread dressing down here.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: And all the southern people say, Oh, can you bring some of that Yankee dressing?
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: Because I make it out of bread cubes with spices and seasonings, like they do in the north.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, I digress.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: And as far as when we hear about all these awful things that are happening, a couple of points on that.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: Number one, how do I deal with that?
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: Well, I if I watch it, which I don't very often, I still get the big news that I need to know.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: If I watch it from the standpoint of, like I'm watching a Tom Clancy movie.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: And I'll say to myself, isn't that interesting?
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: I wonder what's going to happen from there.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: I wonder what got them to be thinking like that.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: I look at both sides and I just think, oh, this is fascinating.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: I wonder what's going to happen next.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: And that's like I'm watching a movie.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, it is like that.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: That's number one.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: And number two, I think the other thing is we've got to remember all this media, whether it be the news channels or the social media or YouTube or the pundits that are out there that are talking about politics and the state of the country and the world and all of that.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: It's all about the dollar.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: When they can keep people in fear, people tend to watch the news more.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: If you have more eyeballs on the news, that means that they can charge more money for their advertising because it's cost per thousand.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: How many people are watching?
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: How many thousands of people are watching this show at this time?
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: How many people are watching the NBC Nightly News at 6 p.m.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: Eastern?
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Well, if you've got 2 million and then something's going on in the world and you can scare everybody, and now you've got 5 million, well, what happens?
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: Your ad rates have more than doubled.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Same with when we click on something when we're looking at the news online.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: It's called clickbait.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Clickbait happens where it's paid per impression.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: However, many people see that ad, the person whose channel it is gets paid for that.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: There's an old adage in the news business, and it's called, if it bleeds, it leads.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: And that's all about creating fear, because the fear gets more people to watch because they believe if they're informed, it's going to keep them safer.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Although a lot of the things that they're watching maybe are happening around the world and they have no effect on their lives.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: It still keeps them glued to the TV because unconsciously it makes them feel safer if they know what's going on.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: Whereas it's really you're going to feel safer if you just don't watch, period, because then you're not aware of it.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 28:19unknown: Yeah.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: So that's my long answer to your short question.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: No, I completely agree with you.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: And I think our energy and our consciousness and our attention is everything.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: And where we put that is everything, right?
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: That's what creates our reality.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: So I agree with you.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: I don't really put my attention there because that's not what I want to be using my consciousness for.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: So the more we can realize that and realize that we're actually creating fear by watching it, then we can pull away from that.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: But I completely get it.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: It's like people think that they're going to watch it to be safer, but really they just end up being more afraid by watching it.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: And it's all about the dollar.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: It's all about the advertising dollar.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: I completely agree with that too.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: And fear sells also.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: So I think that's a huge piece of it.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: So then what would you say to somebody who is looking to kind of reprogram that?
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Or like how do we get out of this cycle of fear that's been put upon us?
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: Well, we pay attention to how we feel.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: If we feel thoughts when they come into our heads, at least are neutral.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Thoughts have no meaning until we give them a meaning.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: And the meaning that we give to thoughts is all based on our personal frame of reference.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: You may look at a picture of a gargoyle and you think, oh gosh, that is so scary.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: Look at this gargoyle.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: And they have them on the tops of buildings and they're just scary looking.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: You show that same picture of a gargoyle to somebody that lives in the Amazon in an indigenous culture who's never seen a picture of a gargoyle before and hasn't been taught that it's a scary thing.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: And they may say, gosh, how interesting.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: I've never seen a dog that looks like that.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: So they're not afraid of it.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: So we want to pay attention to how we feel.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: And we want to be able to discern between when we feel badly, is this a real fear or a fake fear?
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: 99.9% of the thoughts we think that feel badly are based in limiting beliefs that are false.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: And they're based in irrational fear, which also is false.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: And we suffer over that.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: You know that you just think, well, that's ridiculous.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: Why am I wasting my time suffering over something that's an illusion and it's not even real?
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: I have this little trick that I teach.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: It's called the two-minute rule.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: How it works is when you have a thought that feels badly, you just ask, is this going to kill me in the next two minutes?
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: The answer is yes, get out of the road before the truck runs you over.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: If the answer is no, it's a fake fear.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: And when we're in fear, because we have a thought that feels badly, our bodies go into fight or flight.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: Because our body doesn't know if this is a real fear or a fake fear.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: What happens when we're in fight or flight?
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: The blood rushes from our brains to our heart and our extremities so we can run away from that saber-toothed tiger who it feels like is chasing us, although he's been extinct for a really long time.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: And what's happening is just we're looking at a picture of a gargoyle statue that makes us feel fear, but the body's gonna react the same way.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: So when we can nip in the bud and just ask, is this gonna kill me in the next two minutes?
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: A lot of the time you're gonna laugh.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: You're gonna think, oh, for God's sakes, no.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: If I'm five minutes late to this appointment, it's not gonna kill me in two minutes.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: And I can, and then what happens when you negate that fear quickly with just asking that question, Elise?
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: It restores clarity.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: Because we're when we're in fight or flight, we lose clarity because we're just thinking, okay, we got to escape.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: So we don't think clearly.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: But when our clarity is restored, because we get a couple of moments of being able to tamp down the fear, then our brain can work well and we can think, okay, well, we'll just text this appointment and say, hey, I'm running five minutes late.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: I'll be there as soon as I can get there and all is well in the world.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: I love that role.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: That's a really good one.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try that.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Because a lot of it too is just old programming, right?
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: And just kind of replaying what we took on instead of actually just taking a step back and being like, is this actually real?
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Or that is this even mine?
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: But that's something that I often tell my clients to ask too, because a lot of it is just stuff we took on from our parents or other people or just even society in general.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: So even just to check in, is this even mine?
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: That can be a great way to kind of dismantle it a little bit and not overly identify with it.
- 33:01SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: So I'm interested to know too, you know, just talking about fear and dismantling old programming.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: What was it like for you to go from being this businesswoman to this spiritual teacher?
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: What were the challenges that came up for you in that transition, if any?
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, a bunch.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: A bunch.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: I live in Alabama, honey.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: I thought I'm gonna have men on horses wearing these white hoods and they're gonna be burning across in my front yard.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I hear you.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: That hasn't happened.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: I've been doing it about 10 years now.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: Not even quite.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: I guess out of the closet, probably five.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: I started my show probably five years ago.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: But the biggest indicator to me was it took me several years to get enough golden ovary courage to release my angelic attendance book.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Because you know, guys have breast balls and girls have golden ovaries.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: And so it took me a while.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: And I was lecturing for business at a big conference with a bunch of C-suite executives in Austin a few years back.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: And I I had just put up askjulyrion.com and I was reluctant to do that.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: I thought, oh, somebody's gonna see it.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: And I might catch a bunch of grief about it.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: But I just took the leap of faith and put it up.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: So I finished my talk.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: This room mostly male, all C-suite executives.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: And at the end of my talk, this guy comes up to me with his iPad open to askJulyRyan.com.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: And I thought, okay, here we go.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: And he said, Is this you?
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: And I wanted to say, it's my picture, isn't it?
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: But I was charming.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: And I said, Why, yes, it is.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: And he said, We are gonna be taking a lunch break next.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: Can we sit together?
- 34:49SPEAKER_01: I'd like to hear more.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: And I said, sure.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: And I thought, I'm just gonna get pummeled over lunch.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: So we go to sit at the table, and it's in those typical ballrooms at big conferences where they'll have tables of eight, round tables of eight.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: And we were sitting at a table of eight, and it was seven C-suite executive male and me.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: And they didn't want to talk about business.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: All they wanted to talk about was woo-woo.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: The whole lunch.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: We had this great conversation.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: And I thought, okay, okay, God.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: That was God saying, get over yourself with this fear.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: Just put it out there.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: And that was a really big wake-up call for me on the fear.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: And since that time, certainly there are instances and have been throughout the years where somebody will say, Well, I don't believe that stuff.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: You have to prove it to me.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: And I'll say, Well, really, I don't.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: If you're interested in talking about it, fine.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: If you want to talk about college football, fine.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: I'm happy to talk about whatever you'd like.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: And it really makes them step back for a minute.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: It shocks them.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: And then I'll sometimes I'll say, This just may not be for you.
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: And then they say, well, no, no, no, no.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: I'm interested.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: And I say, well, okay, let's talk about it.
- 36:05SPEAKER_01: What do you want to know?
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: So it's very rare that I have that.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: I was talking with a woman in New Zealand this morning, a client who's a lawyer and has lost a couple of people very close to her in the past year.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: And she said, I need proof that they're that you're really talking to them.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, of course you do.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: You're a lawyer.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: And these two spirits, they were both men who died.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: They were both like Aristotle.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: They were philosophers.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: They're giving her all this, all these big concept things and how to do her life and what her path is and on and on and on and on.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: And she just wants to know what sign they're sending them.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: So one said feathers, and I thought, couldn't you come up with something a little more original than that?
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: But I told her, and then the other one said apples.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: And I told her, I said, look for feathers and apples and be open to how they're going to appear.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: It doesn't mean that you're going to walk up to one.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: It means that you might see it on the side of a van.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: You might see it in a random place.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: Who knows how it's going to come in?
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: And when Spirit gives us communication, these guys were like giving me paragraphs to give to her about stuff that she could do to improve her life.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: And I thought, okay, the bottom line here is this is what I'm getting.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: If it doesn't make sense to you right now, that's fine.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: It may later, when you think about it, it may in a week, a month, a year, when something happens and you go back to, okay, he's just given you a basket of apples as a gift.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: And that's from your uncle Mart, Marty or whatever his name was.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: And it'll hit you then.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: So just be open.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: But I think we out of fear, and she was very afraid to die because she was really afraid of what was going to happen.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: So I sent her my book.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: And what I find is that when we try and control things, like we're trying to control what spirits in heaven are giving you as messages.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: That's not how it works.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: And so when we try and control things, we're in fear.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: And when we recognize that we're trying to control something, no, you're in fear.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: And then use two minute rules.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: It's gonna kill me.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: No.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: It's a fake fear.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's something that a lot of people struggle with because one of the things that I always end up talking to my clients about is, like you said, being open to things showing up in ways that you don't expect, right?
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Also being open to if you follow your intuition, just because it doesn't lead you where you think it was supposed to doesn't mean that it was wrong.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: And I think that's something that a lot of my clients will be like, well, I listened to my intuition and it didn't work out.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, how do you know that it didn't work out?
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: And they're like, well, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, that doesn't mean it didn't work out.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: It just means that it didn't turn out the way your human mind thought it was supposed to.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: And I think it's this idea of being open to the possibility beyond what the way that we want to control the narrative or that we think it should work out.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: And it may be a circuitous route that's taking you to what you really want, just not in the way that you thought you'd get there.
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: And I find that happens a lot.
- 39:39SPEAKER_01: We get to the end point, just not necessarily by taking the path that we'd originally envisioned.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: And oftentimes the circuitous route gives us the opportunity to learn and expand our spirit and our mind at the same time in getting to the same outcome.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: And it's like these things that you were supposed to learn or these things that you needed to go through in order to become to get there, right?
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: It's like this initiation almost to the version of you who you needed to become in order to get to where you wanted to be.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Well, exactly.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: And it's all about frequency and vibration.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: So that circuitous route, back to that phrase, is changing your vibration each step of the way.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: It's like going up a flight of stairs.
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: You want to get to the top, but you got to go up these other stairs to get there.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: If you think of each step as a different frequency that's higher and higher, so that your frequency is gonna match whatever it is you want.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: Because when you're at the bottom of the steps, you want to be at the top of the stairs.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Well, your frequency doesn't match it until you go up all those stairs.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: That's so true.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: So what would you say?
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: Because I know you're talking about talking to deceased loved ones and all of that.
- 40:59SPEAKER_00: What are some of the most common things that deceased loved ones are trying to get across to people, if there are any?
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: That they're around them and they know what's going on in their lives.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Not from an intrusive way, but just to let them know.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: I spoke to a client on Friday, I believe, a few days ago, and we were talking to her deceased grandmother.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: And the grandmother was showing me a mint green Pashmina, a shawl.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: And I said, Does that mean anything to you, to my client?
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: And she gasped and she said, Yeah.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: She said, My grandmother had one and it was cashmere and I have it.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: And I said, Well, she's giving you that sign through me to let you know that she's around you.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: And she's giving you some type of evidence called being an evidential medium.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: You get some evidence of something, regardless of how random it seems.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: Mint green peshmina is random.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: It's not something that I would normally come up with.
- 41:55SPEAKER_01: But I think the big thing is that they're around them.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: Their deceased loved ones are around them.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: They're there to support them and to advise them and encourage them, and that they haven't left them.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: They've just changed their consistency.
- 42:12SPEAKER_01: They're they don't have the density of a body anymore because their the spirit is everlasting.
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: It goes on and on and has many incarnations with different bodies.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: There's a a priest I know named Father Sean O'Leara, and he says that we're all spirits in spacesuits.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: The spacesuits are the costume that we're wearing, the suit that we're wearing that's dense so we can be in this human reality.
- 42:45SPEAKER_01: And I think that's a great metaphor for what's going on.
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: So to answer your question, Elise, spirit just wants us to know that they're around us and they're pure love.
- 42:56SPEAKER_01: I often will hear from clients either one-on-one when I'm talking to them on the phone or on Zoom, or they'll send me an email or a question, or maybe it'll be on social media, and they'll say, I couldn't stand my mother when she was alive.
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: I don't want my mother around me after she's dead.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: And I'll say, Well, all of that snarky behavior, all those behaviors and personality traits stay with the body when somebody dies.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: And the spirit is all just pure love.
- 43:26SPEAKER_01: Your mom is pure love.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's interesting.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: I am not a medium, but I have had experiences just connecting with mostly my own grandmother, who I was very close with in life.
- 43:39SPEAKER_00: I often have that experience too, where I'm just experiencing this very high level of unconditional love from her.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: And just it feels like it's like her, but it's like this high frequency of her or something like that, if that makes sense.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: And I think a lot of what we feel from From a spiritual perspective, is indescribable with our languaging.
- 44:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: There isn't a way to describe it.
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: It's more of something that we have to feel andor experience.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: And I think that was something that I struggled with, especially in my earlier days of not really understanding what spirituality was and having so many experiences that I didn't understand or couldn't describe and just didn't talk about them because I didn't know what was happening.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of people end up doing that.
- 44:36SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: Because little children all have the ability.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: We all come in with the ability.
- 44:42SPEAKER_01: And then as they grow up, their abilities wane because their parents and grandparents and perhaps teachers and others, even friends, their little friends say, Oh, that's just your imagination.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: Or their friends say, Man, you're just so weird.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: What are you doing?
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: No, there's nobody there that you're talking to.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: And then they learn to shut it down.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: And then they'll oftentimes have some type of a spiritual experience that will pique their curiosity again.
- 45:15SPEAKER_01: And then oftentimes they're led to explore more.
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: And so they've got that foundation there that's been laid.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: And sometimes they forget about it, but it's a way for them to reclaim and utilize the gifts that we all receive when we're born.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: We all come in with them.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: So do you feel like everyone can cultivate that if they choose to?
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 45:42SPEAKER_01: Everybody can throw a ball.
- 45:43SPEAKER_01: Doesn't mean you're going to be Tom Brady.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: He's had lots of practice and lots of instruction and lessons and things like that.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: Worked with some of the best coaches in all of football.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: But everybody can throw a ball.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: And this is the same thing.
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: I think that it takes time to develop skills.
- 46:02SPEAKER_01: Some people immediately can talk to dead people and it works great.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: Those people a lot of the times get exhausted by it.
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: Somebody who develops the skill, it's like an athlete.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: If you and I go try and play a quarter of football, we're going to be injured and exhausted, not happy.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: Whereas somebody who's trained for a long time and has tip-top physical shape and the ability to know how to do this is not going to be as exhausted as you or I.
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: So yes, it's a matter of just developing and then enhancing it.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: And it really comes down to utilizing it.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: Just use it.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: The more you use it, the easier it becomes.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: And then it's just second nature.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: No, I totally agree.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: I think everyone has the ability to use their psychic abilities and tune into energy and all of that.
- 46:56SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of people are already doing it.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: They just don't realize it and they're not actually naming what they're doing.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: But I think we're all much more tuned into all of that than we actually think.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: It's just about claiming and owning that we're doing it, is what I always say too.
- 47:15SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 47:16SPEAKER_01: We've all had experiences, at least, where we think of somebody and then they call us later in the day, or they send us a text, or we run into them, or we get an email from them and we think, oh, I was just thinking of you.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: What a coincidence.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: There's no coincidence there.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: You know, they pick you're on the same wavelength, you're on the same frequency.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: And that we've all experienced that.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: We've also, all of us have experienced having a gut feeling about something and doing the opposite of what our gut feeling was, and then we regret it.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: And that's sometimes the best way.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: I always say to my clients, I'm like, that is actually the best way of learning how to use your intuition is by thinking about back on times when you didn't listen to it because you're like, oh, that's what that was.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: And I didn't listen to it.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: And look what happened.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: Yep, exactly.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: It's so true.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: So can you tell us also just a little bit about your book?
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: Because I know you said you have a book that everyone can get if they choose.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: Angelic attendance, what really happens as we transition from this life into the next is, as I mentioned earlier, it's it's the different phases that we all go through, regardless of whether we die in the case of a quick death, a homicide, a suicide, or our death is prolonged over days, weeks, months, even years.
- 48:37SPEAKER_01: And it's the configuration of the players that are there as we're dying.
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: I call them the Welcome to Heaven committee.
- 48:45SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: They make up just this group of thousands eventually.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: By the time somebody actually departs, we see thousands of spirits of deceased loved ones and pets that are there and angels.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: And so we go through the 12 phases of transition, and then there's lots of stories in there about families with whom I worked, and the story of my own mother when she was dying, and that's the first time I saw all of this.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: And it's really as a glorious component to what is normally a heart-wrenching situation.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: And it's a fast read, it's fun.
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll think, oh my gosh, people tell me it's a page turner.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: I just couldn't put it down because I was so eager to find out what happened next.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: And so that's fun.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: It's used as a book, as a gift, at least, for people who've lost a loved one.
- 49:43SPEAKER_01: It's also used as a gift for people who have a loved one at the end of their lives.
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: And it's short and it's just very descriptive and very comforting.
- 49:53SPEAKER_01: Many churches and synagogues give it to every family that comes in to plan a funeral, which is what an honor.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: So any listening, anybody listening that would like a free copy, just go to askJulieRyan.com and click on the Ask Julie button and just say, Hey, I heard you on Elisa's show, or I heard you on reclaiming consciousness, and I'd love a free copy.

- 50:31SPEAKER_00: I'm definitely gonna get mine.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: And then also, if you have children or grandchildren, I have three children's books, and then fourth one's coming out in a couple of weeks, and they're called the Angel Messages series, Elise.
- 50:45SPEAKER_01: And they're just darling.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: They have amazing illustrations in them.
- 50:49SPEAKER_01: You know, each one has probably 15 short sentences in it.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: And it's about spirituality, like for instance, angel messages for dogs.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: Okay, your dog has a spirit and a body, and your dog chose you and your family to take care of it and raise it.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: And dogs will do tricks for treats, and dogs like to sniff each other's butts and stuff like that.
- 51:13SPEAKER_01: That's I think that's the favorite page of most four-year-olds because we have that in the book too.
- 51:19SPEAKER_01: Well, my kids would love that.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, my kids would love that.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: Anything having to do with with butts or poop they think is hilarious.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: That's right, or farts.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, same thing.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 51:28SPEAKER_01: And so anybody that has kids or grandkids, if you'd like a copy of a it's a PDF of the angel messages for dogs, for cats, or for kids, just tell us which one and we'll send that to you as well.
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: And then can you let everyone know where they can find you?
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: Other than I know you said your website, but yeah.

- 52:07SPEAKER_01: I never know who's gonna call or what their questions are gonna be.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's so fun.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: And so you can download that anywhere you download podcasts.
- 52:15SPEAKER_01: We're on YouTube, we're on Alexa.
- 52:17SPEAKER_01: And we also are on syndicated talk radio around the country in a bunch of big cities.
- 52:24SPEAKER_01: So you can look in your area, and it's the show that we record on Thursday nights, but you can listen to it on talk radio, like if you're in Boston or Dallas or New York City or LA or Atlanta, places like that, you can listen to it.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: And it makes it a lot of fun too.
- 52:40SPEAKER_01: So we're just getting the information out there in a bunch of different ways that make it convenient for people.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you so much for sharing that.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: And we'll definitely be checking that out and linking that below.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: So, for our last question for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: The two-minute rule.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: Is this a real fear or a fake fear?
- 53:07SPEAKER_01: Because when we live a life in fear, and 99.9% of the time it's a fake fear.
- 53:13unknown: Right.
- 53:14SPEAKER_01: We're unconscious.
- 53:15SPEAKER_01: We don't have clarity.
- 53:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:17SPEAKER_01: So the best thing that we can do, and I've just done it so long, Elise, that it's a habit.
- 53:22SPEAKER_01: If I have a feeling that feels badly, I am immediately going into this gonna kill me in the next two minutes.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: And a lot of the time I laugh because it's just something ridiculous.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: But we're all hardwired for fear, so we're gonna go there first.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: So I think being able to discern between what's a real fear and what's a fake fear, and when we understand that most of it is fake.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: And anything that feels bad grief, jealousy, boredom, anger, anything like that, anything that feels badly is based in fear.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: And then when we figure that out.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: The other thing that's interesting about all of this is when we do that, what happens is we feel good most of the time and we attract more good feeling things because that's the frequency we're on.
- 54:15SPEAKER_01: And one caveat to all of this, Elise, and that is when you feel good 100% of the time, you're dead because we create out of the contrast.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: And that's why we're all here is to create.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: If we didn't have things that we didn't, we wouldn't create things that we do.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: So when we have something that we don't like, we go to neutral.
- 54:40SPEAKER_01: We say, okay, we don't really like this, but it's not gonna kill me.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: So how can I make it better?
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: You get that clarity back, and you're able to proceed and create what you want.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: That's so true.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: It's such a great reminder, too, that it's yeah, we're not supposed to just feel good all of the time.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: Like the way that we grow is through not feeling good and then moving through that.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: And that's how we create growth.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: So it's so true.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for being here.
- 55:10SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for sharing all of that and for sharing your books with us.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: It was just such a pleasure to have you and to get to talk to you.
- 55:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, my honor.
