Every other God is an idol. So Lord God, I pray that we can

God, I pray that we can see you. Let us see you, Father, through

cast our crowns. Father, robust in his

righteousness, give us his purity.

God help us to understand our inheritance, Your Kingdom, your

will. I pray that will be performed to

right now, for this time, just as it is there, as you have

planned it and you've prophesied about it.

You've written it down for us in these holy scriptures that we

to go into search God. And this is foolishness to the

man that is perishing, but it is life to us, God.

It is our lifeline. Father, we see your eternal

plans all working together for right now, for such a time as

this. And we are called according to

your purposes. And everything is moving in the

exact accordance for the good of those who love you and are

called according to your purposes.

So God, we get out of our own way.

We say yes and Amen to all of your prophecies.

Lord, I pray that you'll give us Our Daily Bread today.

Feed us quail and manna. Feed us Christ flesh.

Allow us to drink the blood as we remember what he did for us

ups and hurts and habits, God, all the times that we've slipped

the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray that the accuser of

God, there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ

Jesus. And so, God, we get in Christ

Jesus, we find our identity in Christ Jesus and we don't listen

to the negativity, we don't listen to all the accusations.

God, we refuse to be offended by you.

And so, Lord God, we know that we are saved and that we are

indwelled, and we know that if we were to die today that we'd

spend eternity there with you and God.

We've counted the cost and we know that where you are, we will

be bring heaven to earth today. Father, for yours is the

Kingdom. There's no other ruler.

There is no other leader, there is no other that takes your

rightful place as King of the universe.

It is your Kingdom. Father, thank you for inviting

us in. Thank you for giving us the

wherewithal and the mental fortitude to understand the

invitation and to take it, God, and to grab a hold of the hem of

your garment and to be healed. It is your power, God.

There is no power that is greater than your power, God.

Your power subdues all of the evil and all of the wicked

tyrannical rulers. God, all of the darkness.

Father, Your power shines in. Your power is more potent than

any other entity on planet earth or in the heavens above.

It is your glory, God, that we're after.

God, we want to sit in Your glory, the Shekinah glory where

we cannot even minister because we are completely overwhelmed by

your presence. In the mighty name of Jesus

Amen. Well, let's start in verse one.

You therefore, my Son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ

Jesus. So that is what you need to

understand is that we have this strength of Christ Jesus

available to us. This is not just Paul speaking

to Timothy. This is available to every blood

bought, born again believer in Christ Jesus.

And just remember what Christ said about John the Baptist.

He said that the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than

any prophet born of woman. And remember what Jesus Christ

told Thomas when he said, blessed are you because you see

and believe, but how much more blessed are they that don't see

and believe? And that's you, and that's me.

Saint, do not forget your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

Do not sell your birthright for a mess of pottage.

Friends, quit living in yesterday's successes and quit

being anxious for tomorrow, but know that today is a gift from

God and He's called you into life and life everlasting.

He's called you into a battle that is on our knees.

Friends, put on the full armor of God, so that you can

withstand the fiery darts of the enemy, flee from youthful lust,

withstand the adversary, and use the Word of God to make him flee

to. In the things that you have

heard of me among many witnesses the same commit you to faithful

men who shall be able to teach others also.

So that is what you need to understand.

We can't just stay on the spiritual milk friends.

We've got to graduate to eating meat.

You can't just hang out in the New Testament.

You need to go get yourself well acquainted with Genesis to

Malachi, and it will all point towards Jesus Christ.

And when you have the totality of God's Word, when you have

studied it and when you have become a student of God's Word,

you should be able to teach others.

And there are many who have farmed out this responsibility

to those that have gone on to get degrees.

And it has led to so much of the apostate church that you're

seeing today. There are men and women who are

teaching the Word of God who don't even know God Almighty.

It is only a profession to them. It is a way of making the

living. And they are twisting God's Word

in the same way that Satan did in the garden.

And there is a grave danger in knowing the knowledge of both

good and evil friends. And they wield the sword and

they do not rightly divide it. And that is where so many cults

spring up from. That is where so much offense

and church hurt comes from because people trusted the

leader and the leader did not even have a relationship with
11:11
God Almighty through His Son Jesus Christ.

And you see it and it is plaguing the church, and it is
11:21
heartbreaking. Three, you therefore endure
11:26
hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

So he's about to get into this little section where we
11:35
discipline ourselves, where we actually put in the work.

And we don't go just flippantly, we actually put in the study

time. Friends, no, for no man that
11:52
wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he
11:57
may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.

So God Almighty desires for us to soldier on in the faith, to

not grow weary of doing good, and to not entangle ourselves

with all of the garbage of the secular world.

Friends, it's good for the boat to be in the water, but it is
12:19
not good for the water to be in the boat.

And so many people have watered down the word of God to the
12:25
point where the world has actually overtaken the holy and
12:35
has made it profane. And they've brought idols into
12:39
the temple. And we are called to consecrate
12:44
our temple to take out all of the worldly garbage.

You've got to get the water out of the boat before the boat
12:51
sinks. And it's also not good for the
12:54
boat to just be in a shipyard up on a hoist.

Friends, the boat needs to be in the water.

It was created to be in the water.

And we are created to go out into the darkest places.

We should not shy away from that.

But we cannot let the world encroach on what is Holy Five.

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet he is not crowned

except he strived lawfully. This is an athlete.

This is somebody who competes in the games.

And if he does not follow the rules, he will be disqualified.

So Paul here writing to his son in the faith, Timothy, and he's

telling him to work hard. He's telling him to play by
13:47
God's rules, not to make up his own.

And he's telling him to not entangle himself with all of the

reprobate things of the world, not to be so preoccupied with

the headlines. We need to get our noses buried

in the good book and it will lead us home.

Friends, it's not by being on the up and up of all the worldly

events that are happening all around us.

It is by knowing the Word of God that's going to get us to the

place where we need to be. 6 The husband meant that laborers must

be first partaker of the fruits. You got to practice what you
14:31
preach. Friends, you cannot live like a
14:36
hypocrite. You cannot live duplicious.

If you're going to teach it what you should, you must also put it
14:45
into practice. And you must admit when you get
14:48
it wrong, not try to cover your tracks.

Repent and confess and turn back to your first love.

Seven, Consider what I say, and the Lord give you understanding

in all things. Consider God's words and He will

increase your understanding. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ, the

seed of David, was raised from the dead, according to my
15:19
gospel. So God Almighty through Jesus

Christ on the road to Damascus, showed the apostle Paul, this

Hebrew of Hebrews, this Pharisee of Pharisees, this very learned

man. He showed him the things that he

must suffer, and he entrusted to him the church, all of the

structure of what the church was to look like, and he gave him

the good news and showed him so many things that were hidden

prior. 9 wherein I suffered trouble as an evildoer even in

bonds, but the word of God is not bound.

So he's saying they might label me as a troublemaker, but it's

OK. The word of God is getting

preached even within the jail cell, even within the household

of Caesar. You can see that God has an

eternal plan and it never looks like what our plans are,

Friends. He can use some of your
16:25
personality. He can use some of your
16:28
idiosyncrasies, friends, but you need to know that it is God who

gets all the glory and the honor.

And it's not about us, it's all about God.

And we just say yes and Amen to all, all of his ways. 10

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes.

For they may also obtain the salvation, which is in Christ

Jesus with eternal glory. You can see that Paul is
16:55
seasoning his words well. He's choosing them well.

He knows that his time is short. He knows that his days are

almost up, and he knows what is ahead of them.

And he knows to live his Christ and to die his gain.

And he says he's enduring all of it, and he wants many more to

come into the fold. The elect, those that are

predestined and chosen before the foundations of the earth.

And God gives us free will, but he already knows what we're

going to do. He knows who's going to belong

with him forever, for all of eternity.

And Paul here pushes on for the salvation of as many that will

hear his words and come into the fold, friends.

And it is glory. Jesus Christ is eternal glory.

Friends. 11 It is a faithful saying, For if we be dead with

him, we shall also live with him.

So if we die for Christ's sake, we will be with him forevermore.

12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him.

If we deny him, he also will deny us.

So verse 12, he's saying for the persecuted church, they will get

the privilege of reigning and ruling with him for 1000 years

time in the Millennium France, a literal geographical place in

Jerusalem as Jesus Christ sits and rules and reigns for 1000

years. And there will be peace on earth

because of him. And he says if we deny him, he

will deny us. This is the apostate church.

This is those that fall away, friends that never truly belong

to Him and they're embarrassed of Him and he will deny them

before the Father. 13 If we believe not yet He abides

faithful, He cannot deny himself, His purposes, His plans

and his prophecies will come, no matter how many people rail

against it, no matter if the whole world is shaking their

fists in opposition of the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac,

the God of Jacob, the God of Israel, the Jewish God, No

matter how many people hate it and rail against it, His plans

will come no matter. And just know that most of what

you're seeing is a satanic revolt and people are reprobate

and delusional and they don't even realize how blasphemous
19:40
they are in their hate towards the Jews.

They don't even realize they are so lost friends.

And we were once those people. He cannot deny himself.

He's spoken it and that settles it.

We believe it because God's Word states it, friends.

And that is all that we need to know that if His Word says it,

we believe it. And that's, that's the end of

it. 14 of these things put them in remembrance, charging them

before the Lord that they strive not about words to no prophet,

but to the subverting of the hearers.

So here we're going to get into what the apostate church looks

like. All of this mumbling and

grumbling, murmuring to no avail. 15 study to show yourself

approved unto God, a Workman that needs not to be ashamed,

rightly dividing the word of truth.

We need that more than anything in this current time, in this
20:59
current culture. There are so many people that

are just going by what somebody else is saying and they're not

actually steeped and rooted and grounded in God's Word.

Because if we were to read God's Word in the entirety and we read

it chronologically and we read it literally, you will come to

this rightly dividing of God's Word, and God will be well

pleased to give you His knowledge and well pleased to
21:26
give you wisdom beyond your years.

He will be well pleased to give you sound doctrine and sound

theology if you will not call any of His Word into question.

It's not allegorical, friends. It's not figurative, friends.

We need to read God's Word literally.

And then you will start to see all the pieces of the puzzle

fitting together, all of the nightly news, all of the

headlines. They go completely in accordance

perfectly with God's revealed will inside of the 66th Canon

from Genesis to Revelation 16. But shun profane, vain

babblings, for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

That is what you see. All these people just want to be

heard. It's just their opinion friends,

it's man's opinion. Just know that the only thing

that is trustworthy and true is the word of God.

Everything else is just an opinion.

Let every man be a liar. It is only God Almighty that is

truth and that is the importance of studying God's word and not

just being spoon fed, because you will be spoon fed

counterfeit. 17 and their word will eat, as does a canker, of

whom is Hymenius and Philetus. That's what you need to know is

this canker is like cancer, and it consumes.

If you give the devil a foothold, the whole body's

coming in. If you even air on one syllable,

one single jot, one single title.

If you give ground, you might as well take the whole thing and

throw it in the trash. It is profane, it is vain

babblings, and it eats away like cancer.

And many have gone that way. Many have chosen to call the

Bible into question, to call God into the courtroom, and to tell

God to behave Himself and to be moral and to be progressive.

And it does not work that way. Friends 18 who concerning the

truth have erred saying that the resurrection is passed already

and overthrow the faith of some. You have these preterists who

believe that everything's already happened and it's a

bunch of garbage. This is predictive of a future

event, friends, and it's all culminating.

And if you will approach the Word of God with that

understanding, then everything that you see happening all

around us every day lines up exactly and perfectly with God's

Word. God is not in heaven pacing back

and forth trying to figure out his next move.

It is not a cat and mouse game between good and evil, friends.

God is omnipotent. He is the Alpha and the Omega,

and everything is going exactly according to Plan 19.

Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands sure.

Having this seal. The Lord knows them that are

His, and let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from

iniquity. So on the foundations of God

Almighty on the chief cornerstone, there are two

inscriptions. The first one is God already

knows who belongs to Him, and He's relentless in bringing them

into the fold. And aren't all angels

ministering spirits sent to protect those that will inherit

eternal life? God already knows, friends, He

gives you free will, but He knows who's going to be there

with him in the end. And it's not enough for us just

to say I am the elect and then go on our merry little way and

let, because of the grace of God, just to let sin abound.

God forbid. We must turn from our evil ways.

We must turn from our wicked dispositions.

We must obey God's Word which proves our position in Christ

Jesus. If we name the name of Christ,

then we must depart from our sinful lifestyle, and that is a

great indicator of who belongs to Him. 20 But in a great house

there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of

wood and earth, some to honor and some to dishonor.

This world is a great house, and many are choosing the way of the

dishonorable. And there are some in this house

that will be brought in to honor.

And that, my friends, is a indicator of those who surrender

their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ while there's still time.

21 If a man, therefore purged himself from these, he shall be

a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use,

and prepared unto every good work.

That is a reflection of those who actually give up their
27:58
lives, and who take him at his word and go into the service of

the Lord Jesus Christ. 22 Flee also youthful lusts, follow
28:12
righteousness, and faith and charity and peace with them that

call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

If you have a pure heart, friends, these are the things
28:22
that will follow when we stiff arm all of the youthful lust.

We've got to get off of the insane cycle of sinning,
28:35
confession, repentance, forgiveness, walking upright and
28:44
sinning again and going back to our vomit.

We've got to stop. We need God to deliver us from
28:52
these youthful lust, friends. We have these supercomputers in
28:56
our pockets that are leading people astray in droves, and

they're severing the line of communication with headquarters.

And we desperately need God to deliver us from these youthful
29:13
lusts. And if we will trust God and
29:19
we'll stay away from those youthful lust, and we'll
29:22
approach him with a sincere heart, with a pure heart,

friends, then we will see righteousness follow.

Faithfulness will increase. Our charity, our love for our

neighbors and for God will increase.

The peace of God will come flooding in.

Friends. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid

knowing that they do Gender strife.

We don't need to try to pick people apart.

We don't need to try to pick people's motives apart.

And always believing the worst in people.

All that does is lead to strife. Friends, we need to encourage

and edify our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

We need to speak truth and love. We don't need to try and cause

all kinds of dissension and discord. 24 And the servant of

the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all men, able to
30:29
teach patient 25 in meekness, instructing those that oppose
30:36
themselves, if God per adventure will give them repentance to the
30:41
acknowledging of the truth, will end on, 26 And that they may
30:47
recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are
30:51
taken captive by him at his will.

These are the people who allowed envy and strife and babbling,

and they allowed their youthful lusts and they allowed the
31:04
apostasy. They allowed the condemnation to
31:07
get a hold of them. They allowed the offense that
31:11
God wasn't the God that they formed in their own mind to get
31:15
them to leave the faith. And Paul here is writing to
31:21
Timothy and letting him know that we need to pray for those
31:25
people, that they may be able to escape the snares of the enemy

and come back to their senses and come back into the fold,

friends. And it is in meekness and
31:39
patience, and it is gentleness, friends, just like the Lord

Jesus Christ was. We mirror and model our lives

after Jesus Christ and we'll never go wrong.

And just remember, they hated Him first, so there's no wonder

that they hate and persecute you.

This is not this is not the cultural lukewarm Christianity

that most of us were brought up with.

This is the totality of God's Word, not just the cherry picked

verses that we pick out to form our own ideas of who God is.

And then we talk about it for hours on end.

This is the totality of God's word when you take it all in.

the spoken Rhema of God. We build our lives on the chief

cornerstone, and we allow the Word to get into us and to

discern us and to read us. It is alive and it is active,

friends, and we hide it in our hearts.
