- 8:22Speaker 3: In the TikTok world. He is also a published artist,
- 8:24Speaker 3: and it's going to be an absolutely amazing episode. I'm
- 8:27Speaker 3: excited for it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: What do you think? Should we? Should we get the
- 8:29Speaker 1: featured artist of the day right in here? Not even
- 8:31Speaker 1: mess around if you want. I mean, I'll tell you.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Let me, let me tell you in ten seconds, how

- 8:48Speaker 1: Waste a lot of precious time.
- 8:50Speaker 4: I got run into by.
- 8:51Speaker 5: A one armed pirate, had to get rescued, and while
- 8:56Speaker 5: he was bringing me back to shore, I call this
- 9:00Speaker 5: amazing paper mache fish.
- 9:02Speaker 1: This most of all, like, yeah, this thing that well
- 9:08Speaker 1: shark has rabies?
- 9:10Speaker 4: Oh it did it did?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah? You did?
- 9:14Speaker 4: I cured that because I got I got the coronavirus
- 9:16Speaker 4: and that cured my rabies.
- 9:18Speaker 1: That's pretty cool.
- 9:19Speaker 7: Yeah, But because I was next to a volcano, from
- 9:23Speaker 7: the volcano cured my coronavirus.
- 9:25Speaker 4: A little known fact that that actually works.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Wow o WAHII, he's got it going on. Did you
- 9:29Speaker 1: put on your pizza?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Wait, nobody cares that you might have put pineapple on
- 9:35Speaker 3: your pizza? Oh sorry, sorry about what's that?
- 9:38Speaker 1: What's that? I can't.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Okay, all right, Well, we're gonna hit the intro and
- 9:42Speaker 3: we're gonna bring in the artist as long as I
- 9:44Speaker 3: clicked the right one. Uh, this one, I think is
- 9:46Speaker 3: the featured artists get ready done. As we mentioned earlier,
- 10:20Speaker 3: Tonight's guest is Madeleine Janelle. You can find her at
- 10:23Speaker 3: Madeline Janelle art dot com on the social media. She
- 10:26Speaker 3: is a freelance concept artist and a muralist based in
- 10:29Speaker 3: North Carolina. With her natural fire to create, she's made
- 10:32Speaker 3: an impact in the art world with a unique style
- 10:35Speaker 3: and mentorship to other artists by encouraging them to express
- 10:38Speaker 3: themselves for our That one is best known for her
- 10:40Speaker 3: blue color sheen and headphones.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Aesthetic in her work.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Her work expresses how even the darkest shadows are as
- 10:46Speaker 3: dark as we think in tuning out negativity with your
- 10:49Speaker 3: favorite headphones can lead to brighter days. With ten years
- 10:52Speaker 3: of work with traditional mediums from pencils and murals, she
- 10:55Speaker 3: has recently started to study digital art. Her digital work
- 10:59Speaker 3: has been used for context ideas for characters to variant
- 11:02Speaker 3: comic covers for her Kickstarter campaign. She manages to still
- 11:05Speaker 3: maintain her unique style with any medium she looks forward
- 11:08Speaker 3: to a future art for to meet her fans, other artists,
- 11:11Speaker 3: and more collaborations. You can find her on TikTok YouTube
- 11:14Speaker 3: creating videos of her process and final pieces and spreading
- 11:18Speaker 3: positivity without further ado.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Don't want the only Hey, that was one of the
- 11:25Speaker 1: best control because you you you wrote that, and that's
- 11:29Speaker 1: right on Madeline Janelle art dot com plash contact. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: just read it for the first time.
- 11:34Speaker 6: I didn't.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So Madeline. Madeline and myself we met on TikTok through
- 11:42Speaker 1: a bunch of her art. She she does a lot
- 11:43Speaker 1: of cool concepts, and she decided that it would be
- 11:47Speaker 1: cool to be a part of the show. Drew this.
- 11:50Speaker 1: If she can make me look good, just go over
- 11:52Speaker 1: and check out the Instagram and some of the other
- 11:54Speaker 1: stuff that she does because it's absolutely amazing. Yeah, So
- 12:00Speaker 1: how's it going.
- 12:01Speaker 4: It's good.
- 12:02Speaker 6: I've been pretty busy today. I decided to take on.
- 12:07Speaker 8: That challenge that's on TikTok right now, where you make
- 12:09Speaker 8: like a simple painting to put on eBay.
- 12:12Speaker 6: So I did that.
- 12:13Speaker 8: It's it's like it was with the abstract headphones and
- 12:17Speaker 8: they're like blitching out. Yeah, so I guess the whole
- 12:21Speaker 8: challenge of that was to try to create something really
- 12:23Speaker 8: simple and that didn't make too much time. So I
- 12:26Speaker 8: was able to do that, but it was actually pretty
- 12:29Speaker 8: exhausting because I wanted to be a little bit more
- 12:30Speaker 8: work it because I, like you show that picture.
- 12:33Speaker 6: I do a lot more. There's more to my artwork
- 12:36Speaker 6: and just you know, the colors. So yeah, it was good,
- 12:39Speaker 6: it was fun. We'll see how that works out there.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So the whole thing you do, the painting, you advertise,
- 12:44Speaker 1: and then you're throwing on eBay, right, and then somebody
- 12:46Speaker 1: can go buy it.
- 12:47Speaker 6: Well, this is my first time putting it on eBay.
- 12:49Speaker 8: Actually I've never tried this approach, and apparently it's a
- 12:53Speaker 8: good one for for this to start off with. But
- 12:54Speaker 8: I usually sell a lot of my network through my
- 12:56Speaker 8: website or like Instagram messages when you will find.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah absolutely yeah. So yeah, when you do sell that
- 13:04Speaker 1: on ebates, on you the link and we'll try to
- 13:07Speaker 1: spread it around as pot as much as possible, and
- 13:10Speaker 1: then Logan will throw some bids on to try to
- 13:12Speaker 1: see who can outdo each other. I know he's in Hawaii,
- 13:14Speaker 1: so I don't I don't think the currency is any different,
- 13:17Speaker 1: but the time zone it so he doesn't do very
- 13:20Speaker 1: well with the math, So I think I find coconuts. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 1: So what what got you into doing art? Was it
- 13:28Speaker 1: something that you just kind of landed into it. Was
- 13:31Speaker 1: it something you kind of did as you know, as
- 13:33Speaker 1: a child and just kind of found the passion for it,
- 13:35Speaker 1: or well, I did.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Start when I was younger.
- 13:38Speaker 8: My mom moved to the United States when she was
- 13:41Speaker 8: eight from Peru and she didn't know any English, so
- 13:45Speaker 8: art was something that she could do without a whole
- 13:48Speaker 8: lot of direction or a lot of communication.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 8: So she's been an artist for her life and she
- 13:54Speaker 8: just never made it into a career. And then I've
- 13:58Speaker 8: been back and forth with my artwork for between like
- 14:01Speaker 8: two thousand and nine to like twenty seventeen, I was
- 14:04Speaker 8: really just kind of on and off, and then like
- 14:06Speaker 8: the last three years I have really just if I'm
- 14:09Speaker 8: going to make it a career. I set a five
- 14:10Speaker 8: year goal and I said, I'm either going to do
- 14:12Speaker 8: this where I'm not so in the next two years
- 14:16Speaker 8: if this doesn't work out to be what I set
- 14:19Speaker 8: out for myself or better, then I will keep art
- 14:23Speaker 8: as like a hobby and probably just pursue a degree
- 14:27Speaker 8: with something but I've always just art has always just
- 14:30Speaker 8: come naturally to me, and it's People say that you
- 14:33Speaker 8: shouldn't do it for the money, but if you're trying to.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Make a career out of it, you kind of have to,
- 14:37Speaker 6: you know what I mean.
- 14:39Speaker 8: So, like, you know, the business side is really hard
- 14:42Speaker 8: because I don't I'm not business minded like that. So
- 14:46Speaker 8: I have to hire people and do consultations and stuff
- 14:49Speaker 8: to actually get my artwork where I need it to be.
- 14:51Speaker 8: So that way I can actually see if my artwork's
- 14:53Speaker 8: going to make it to where and get you know,
- 14:56Speaker 8: the notice and get places where I'd.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Like to go with it.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that makes sense.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Well, that means we got two years to try to
- 15:03Speaker 3: help promote the hat Cadia and try to make that
- 15:06Speaker 3: a career. I know los art, So we'll we'll we'll
- 15:09Speaker 3: try to get him to buy something. I mean, he's
- 15:11Speaker 3: got all this money to go Hawaii in a pandemic.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I'm sure he's got money to buy some mart.
- 15:16Speaker 6: We'll see.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah, what is one of your favorite pieces of art
- 15:20Speaker 1: that you've done? I know that you can't say it's one.
- 15:22Speaker 1: It's like when you have multiple kids, you're not supposed
- 15:25Speaker 1: to you have a favorite one.
- 15:26Speaker 6: I have a favorite kid regardless.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So I mean, I mean, obviously this is probably you.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You don't have to pick this one is your favorite.
- 15:34Speaker 6: It's definitely number one for sure.
- 15:38Speaker 8: But one of my like one of my ultimate favorite
- 15:40Speaker 8: pieces of art as a y role that I did
- 15:43Speaker 8: in Raleigh, North Carolina. It's a DJ and there it's
- 15:48Speaker 8: like a hyper perspective, so his hand's really big on
- 15:50Speaker 8: the wall on his back hands over here. But I
- 15:53Speaker 8: used to fluorescent paint and UV light paint with that,
- 15:56Speaker 8: so when they turn the UV lights on that like
- 16:00Speaker 8: it blows with the union.
- 16:02Speaker 6: So that's definitely.
- 16:05Speaker 8: A little bit stepped out of my what I was
- 16:07Speaker 8: comfortable with because I haven't used that connecting before.
- 16:11Speaker 6: But once the owner showed me that, it really just kind.
- 16:15Speaker 8: Of inspired the rest of my artwork that like you
- 16:17Speaker 8: most recently see it on my Instagram right now with
- 16:19Speaker 8: like neons and blitching and.
- 16:22Speaker 6: Things like that. It definitely is inspired that kind of
- 16:24Speaker 6: art worked for me right now. So I'd have to
- 16:25Speaker 6: say that DJ, that DJ mural is my favorite piece
- 16:28Speaker 6: that I've really done.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Nice. That's awesome. Kim is here for the art, she
- 16:31Speaker 1: said in the comment below. Kim is high, Brian Sig might.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Have to grow a beard, and can you draw squeak
- 16:38Speaker 3: For the right price, she will draw you squeak.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I assume. I mean there's a price for everything.
- 16:44Speaker 4: He's worth at least five bucks.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I brought her time to look at that ugly mug,
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'd be like five hundred. Yeah, that's yeah, that's what
- 16:53Speaker 1: you meant. Let's see what was one of the first
- 16:57Speaker 1: pieces of art that you remember drawing you as a kid,
- 17:00Speaker 1: or something where you kind of did something you were like, oh, wow,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I can kind of do it.
- 17:07Speaker 8: When we lived in Japan, I used to draw a
- 17:09Speaker 8: lot of waterfalls and like dolphins. I used to do
- 17:12Speaker 8: a lot more landscape and environmental work because for a
- 17:17Speaker 8: long time I wasn't interested in drawing people because I
- 17:19Speaker 8: didn't like people when I was a kid.
- 17:21Speaker 6: So I used to draw waterfalls a lot. And when
- 17:23Speaker 6: I learned how to shade with colored pencils.
- 17:26Speaker 8: With the waterfalls is when I was like, hey, this
- 17:29Speaker 8: kind of looks real and it almost looks like a picture.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Even though it did look like.
- 17:32Speaker 8: A picture at all, it was just like, you know,
- 17:35Speaker 8: it had some sort of upper level of skill for
- 17:38Speaker 8: my age. So I really that's the first thing I
- 17:42Speaker 8: actually noticed.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Nice And as you guys can see over here, this
- 17:45Speaker 3: is the Instagram page. I'm just going to kind of
- 17:47Speaker 3: scroll through some of your recent work to let people
- 17:50Speaker 3: see everything.
- 17:51Speaker 1: So what's what got you into TikTok?
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's something that I try to ask a lot of
- 17:55Speaker 3: people in here, because there's a lot of TikTok you know,
- 17:57Speaker 3: people that come in here, and everybody kind of has
- 17:59Speaker 3: a unique different story, So just curious what kind of got.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You into it.
- 18:03Speaker 8: So end of twenty eighteen, there was a trend that
- 18:07Speaker 8: I saw on YouTube where it was the Halloween compilation
- 18:10Speaker 8: videos where they you did one side, like one side
- 18:14Speaker 8: of the audio was for like the gentlemen to dance,
- 18:16Speaker 8: and then they said ladies and you know, was supposed
- 18:19Speaker 8: to have a duet for people to kind of do
- 18:21Speaker 8: it together. And I thought that was so interesting that
- 18:23Speaker 8: they could use audio virtually and audio that they wanted
- 18:27Speaker 8: to and then they could interact and make like a
- 18:30Speaker 8: video together without really needing permission or much time or
- 18:35Speaker 8: collaboration effort.
- 18:36Speaker 6: You could just do it. So I went there and
- 18:39Speaker 6: I at that time it was a lot.
- 18:41Speaker 8: More creators, like with artwork and cosplayers and things like
- 18:45Speaker 8: that than the more less dancing.
- 18:49Speaker 6: So I decided to try to.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Post some of my artwork then, and a lot of
- 18:53Speaker 8: my first videos aren't there anymore just because the audio
- 18:55Speaker 8: was copyrighted and taken down.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, like the.
- 19:00Speaker 8: The community there as far as arts concern is so
- 19:04Speaker 8: big and supportive, like I haven't. I've had a few
- 19:07Speaker 8: comments of like hate, but they are nothing compared to
- 19:12Speaker 8: like the support that I get.
- 19:13Speaker 6: And I have what I call my regulars.
- 19:15Speaker 8: They're always there on my lives and they're always there
- 19:18Speaker 8: on my videos, liking and commenting, and like they those
- 19:22Speaker 8: few people make it so worth it for me to
- 19:25Speaker 8: sit down and make a video, just even if it's
- 19:27Speaker 8: just for them. So yeah, I really I really enjoy
- 19:30Speaker 8: being able to use you know, this audio that you
- 19:33Speaker 8: can't put on YouTube because you'll get in trouble and
- 19:36Speaker 8: really play around with edits and how to lay down
- 19:40Speaker 8: the artwork in a way that's pleasing with the video
- 19:44Speaker 8: and the beats.
- 19:45Speaker 6: And you know, to the eye.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah, we got in a little bit of trouble apparently
- 19:49Speaker 1: somehow on our Tuesday trivia we kept getting shut down
- 19:51Speaker 1: by the YouTube.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Not exactly sure what we did, but they just kept
- 19:54Speaker 3: taking us down. You can't say certain words, and I
- 19:57Speaker 3: kept saying it, So thank you YouTube for giving us
- 20:00Speaker 3: a third and a fourth chance.
- 20:02Speaker 4: It wasn't bad words. That's the weird part. It wasn't
- 20:04Speaker 4: bad words.
- 20:05Speaker 1: No, it wasn't even a bad word. It was just anyways.
- 20:07Speaker 1: But yeah, I feel like you start to make it
- 20:09Speaker 1: when you start to get a little bit of hate.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Like I was excited the other day. I got my
- 20:13Speaker 3: first thumbs down on an YouTube video. So thanks to
- 20:16Speaker 3: that person that gave me the first down, I feel
- 20:18Speaker 3: like I'm starting to We're starting to get somewhere there.
- 20:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 8: My husband's favorite saying is that they don't boo winners
- 20:26Speaker 8: or they are haters boo winners or something like that,
- 20:28Speaker 8: so I always I always try to keep that in mind.
- 20:31Speaker 8: And you know, I like to tell the younger artists
- 20:34Speaker 8: on or beginner artists on TikTok when they're like, I
- 20:37Speaker 8: don't my art's not going anywhere like I was on
- 20:40Speaker 8: I have My earliest YouTube video is two thousand and
- 20:43Speaker 8: nine and I only have fifteen hundred subscribers. Then, granted
- 20:46Speaker 8: I haven't been on there consistently, Like you're supposed to
- 20:50Speaker 8: in posting certain times a day. But I know my
- 20:53Speaker 8: artwork did not suck that bad either, So it's not
- 20:57Speaker 8: so much a matter of like, oh, this isn't working
- 20:59Speaker 8: because I suck or my art sucks. Is just it's
- 21:02Speaker 8: not working because it's not working on that platform, like
- 21:05Speaker 8: it works on TikTok, because it works on TikTok for me,
- 21:09Speaker 8: and like Instagram, I had to hire a marketer to
- 21:11Speaker 8: get my like my Instagram going, and I tell people
- 21:14Speaker 8: that some people think that's stupid because then that's.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Not real or and some people are like, well, that's
- 21:19Speaker 6: a good idea. And the people that have taken me
- 21:21Speaker 6: up on that, they've.
- 21:22Speaker 8: Seen more engagement on their Instagram and it's becoming it's
- 21:25Speaker 8: starting to become more organic and not through a marketer.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Those ugly mugs, Like yeah, that was.
- 21:32Speaker 8: Like the first time people actually started really noticing my
- 21:35Speaker 8: artwork on TikTok was when I drew them.
- 21:38Speaker 6: I don't really draw them for anything, just to I
- 21:40Speaker 6: just loved what they were doing. I thought that was
- 21:42Speaker 6: really fun.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yeah, It's just it's funny how easily you can kind
- 21:45Speaker 3: of jump on a trend and then it just goes Oh, yeah,
- 21:48Speaker 3: hence me. That's one of the reasons I came back
- 21:51Speaker 3: to TikTok. I quit TikTok for a while, and then
- 21:54Speaker 3: a couple of people saw, Oh, they're putting all this
- 21:56Speaker 3: stuff in this beard, and you're gonna putting stuff in
- 21:58Speaker 3: your beard.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I was like, we'll try.
- 22:00Speaker 6: I'm good at shutting stuff in my beard.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I was like, we'll try for Christmas, and then of
- 22:05Speaker 3: course Easter, and now it'll just be a couple times
- 22:08Speaker 3: a year and then just whenever.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So, who is one of your favorite TikTok artists? Again?
- 22:17Speaker 1: You don't have to save me.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You don't have to feel like you say Read because
- 22:20Speaker 3: he's behind backstage in the studio, and you don't definitely
- 22:23Speaker 3: don't say Logan because nobody knew he existed on TikTok
- 22:26Speaker 3: till the other day.
- 22:27Speaker 6: I kind of feel like those were already given answers.
- 22:31Speaker 6: That's kind of hard, Like I have a.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You don't have to you don't have to say you're
- 22:37Speaker 1: my favorite. You'll break somebody's heart.
- 22:39Speaker 8: Well, I kind of like, I like supporting my my
- 22:42Speaker 8: artist friends that are on there, Like there's Deadpool as
- 22:46Speaker 8: my life. She draws she was one of my first
- 22:49Speaker 8: followers to actually draw me as a banner, and her
- 22:52Speaker 8: style is really unique. She has like you know, brown paper,
- 22:55Speaker 8: and she does like these little cartoon drawings and stuff.
- 22:58Speaker 6: And then, like I look or to seeing that kind
- 23:01Speaker 6: of artwork.
- 23:02Speaker 8: I do like seeing Box Office artists who's also here
- 23:05Speaker 8: on YouTube and on Instagram, but I followed him when
- 23:10Speaker 8: he quit his career in film and animation to be
- 23:14Speaker 8: like full time YouTuber and he's like an actual renowned
- 23:17Speaker 8: comic artist, So I really like seeing his work a
- 23:21Speaker 8: lot because of his tenacity. Yep, he gets up, he
- 23:26Speaker 8: gets his work done, he gets hours of artwork done
- 23:29Speaker 8: and videos done and things like that. So I definitely
- 23:33Speaker 8: look up to artists like that and look word to
- 23:36Speaker 8: seeing their work. Just they're inspiring and not so much
- 23:40Speaker 8: just their skill or what they draw, is just more
- 23:42Speaker 8: of how they approach their work.
- 23:44Speaker 3: That's awesome. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. And that's a
- 23:47Speaker 3: great answer. You didn't hurt anybody's feelings, not even looking
- 23:49Speaker 3: if he has any.
- 23:51Speaker 9: So this is the time.
- 23:53Speaker 3: This is the time where, of course, you know, anytime
- 23:56Speaker 3: we bring on a guest, it's all about the guest,
- 23:57Speaker 3: it's all about you. So this is the time to
- 23:59Speaker 3: tell us what's going on, where we can find you,
- 24:02Speaker 3: what's next. You know, obviously you said, you know we
- 24:04Speaker 3: got two years to make this. You know, where can
- 24:06Speaker 3: somebody get a hold of you one to buy something.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Where can they get a hold of you to have
- 24:10Speaker 3: a custom piece designed or anything? Because you know, there's
- 24:13Speaker 3: been a couple of people that are inquiring in the
- 24:16Speaker 3: chat already. So I'm gonna I'm gonna have you go
- 24:18Speaker 3: full screen and it's all about you. Just tell the
- 24:20Speaker 3: people what you have going on, where to find you
- 24:23Speaker 3: all that good stuff.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Okay, So my website is www dot Matlinjanel art dot com,
- 24:32Speaker 8: which if you go to my Instagram, you can go
- 24:34Speaker 8: to my TikTok and you can find my website. Right now,
- 24:37Speaker 8: I do have an eBay listing on my website link
- 24:40Speaker 8: bio because it just painted this piece today. It's an
- 24:46Speaker 8: abstract glitch version of headphones. So it's kind of an
- 24:50Speaker 8: experiment for me right now to see if selling on
- 24:53Speaker 8: eBay works. But if you're looking for any original pieces
- 24:55Speaker 8: or prints or merch, it's all on my website. You
- 24:59Speaker 8: guys can feel free to message me on Instagram or
- 25:03Speaker 8: even on TikTok if you can or comment and I'll
- 25:05Speaker 8: be more than happy to respond to your inquiries or
- 25:07Speaker 8: help you out with your decisions. Also, if you are
- 25:10Speaker 8: a beginning artist and you need help, also comment and
- 25:14Speaker 8: reach out to me, because I have no problem helping
- 25:16Speaker 8: you and giving you the answers that I have to
- 25:19Speaker 8: questions that I also had when I first started. So
- 25:22Speaker 8: if you guys have anything else, you just.
- 25:23Speaker 10: Let me know.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome. And again, guys, she's just an amazing talent.
- 25:29Speaker 3: She's on you know, Instagram, TikTok, her website. I've checked
- 25:34Speaker 3: out the website a decent amount, the Instagram. Just an
- 25:37Speaker 3: amazing talent. We can't thank you enough for taking the
- 25:39Speaker 3: time for being the artist of the week. And obviously
- 25:42Speaker 3: we'll stay in touch and you know, with future episodes
- 25:44Speaker 3: or if you have any other art people that you've
- 25:47Speaker 3: mentioned that you show some love to let them know
- 25:49Speaker 3: if they want to come on, they want to showcase,
- 25:51Speaker 3: you know, just kind of see a different crowd. You know,
- 25:54Speaker 3: we're a bearded, weird, funny, different crowd that you know.
- 25:58Speaker 3: This is putting you guys in a whole different market.
- 26:01Speaker 3: And that's the whole plan is to try to get
- 26:02Speaker 3: you guys some business.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Try to show you guys some love. So I can't
- 26:05Speaker 1: thank you enough for stopping by.
- 26:08Speaker 6: I definitely appreciate it. Thank you guys so much.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll chat soon again. Thank you very much. All right,
- 26:15Speaker 1: all right, have a good night. All right. Amazing talent,
- 26:22Speaker 1: what'e an amazing person and taking some time. Don't worry
- 26:24Speaker 1: about me. I spilled some coffee over here, so I'm
- 26:27Speaker 1: trying to play it cool. I'm trying to play it cool.
- 26:29Speaker 1: That I think I played it cool.
- 26:30Speaker 3: And in the background here was another piece of art
- 26:32Speaker 3: from her. So if anybody is looking for some artwork,
- 26:35Speaker 3: make sure to make sure to out her social media
- 26:39Speaker 3: and and show some love. That's how that's what this
- 26:41Speaker 3: whole segment is about, is about getting on here showing
- 26:45Speaker 3: artists their talent, because there's a lot of artists that
- 26:47Speaker 3: just don't get any love. And you know, it's a
- 26:49Speaker 3: passion of theirs, it's a career, that's what they do
- 26:51Speaker 3: for a living. And if we can help, you know,
- 26:54Speaker 3: get some exposure to any artists, then hey, you know,
- 26:57Speaker 3: our job is done. Even if one piece is sold
- 27:00Speaker 3: from us, than we feel.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Good about it.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And we're not getting any commission. We're not asking for
- 27:05Speaker 3: money or for any of them. You know, she took
- 27:07Speaker 3: the time did that amazing little drawing of me that's
- 27:09Speaker 3: in the studio, and that was that was amazing.
- 27:12Speaker 4: So that's cool.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah, another great one.
- 27:15Speaker 3: We've had a couple on here and yeah, so thanks
- 27:18Speaker 3: again Madeline jay Art for popping by.

- 29:38Speaker 1: The Lama King.
- 29:39Speaker 3: A man who's been who is a beatboxing author who
- 29:43Speaker 3: rocks different colored hair better than Lady Gaga. A man
- 29:45Speaker 3: who had one hundred thousand followers on TikTok before most
- 29:48Speaker 3: of you even heard of it. A man who might
- 29:50Speaker 3: break the world record for most filters ever used in
- 29:53Speaker 3: a lifetime. A man who looks a lot like Will
- 29:55Speaker 3: Brumman from the Voice, but with a much better beard
- 29:58Speaker 3: the voice, Well, that's to be determined. A man who
- 30:01Speaker 3: has had more characters on TikTok than a Brady Bunch episode.
- 30:04Speaker 3: A man who aspires to prank everyone as if he
- 30:06Speaker 3: was asking in an episode of Punk. A man who
- 30:09Speaker 3: was the second best gamer in his own house, the one,
- 30:12Speaker 3: the only, really.
- 30:19Speaker 9: The best introduction. Oh my gosh, we we.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Aim to please. We try to get you hyped up
- 30:27Speaker 1: with the big intro like that, how can the show
- 30:29Speaker 1: not start off?
- 30:32Speaker 9: Yeah, save that intro.
- 30:34Speaker 6: That's it.
- 30:34Speaker 9: That's all I want.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, we can do that.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Well, kind of over to you, and then anytime you're
- 30:39Speaker 3: starting one of your twitch streams or anything, feel free
- 30:41Speaker 3: to use that.
- 30:42Speaker 1: And I've seen every one of your TikTok's doing research.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That's one thing that I do is I go through
- 30:49Speaker 1: them and I try to find some funny stuff for
- 30:52Speaker 1: some questions and some different stuff. I've seen a lot
- 30:54Speaker 1: of them. I've seen a lot of them. They're good,
- 30:56Speaker 1: they're good, they're funny.
- 30:57Speaker 3: The favorite part of me is when when you when
- 30:59Speaker 3: you kind of go old school on some of them,
- 31:01Speaker 3: when you don't really know like he was a twenty
- 31:03Speaker 3: eighteen you're out there doing TikTok or whenever, kind of
- 31:06Speaker 3: first going you're no, but none of us really knew
- 31:09Speaker 3: what TikTok was. So you're just kind of doing whatever,
- 31:11Speaker 3: and now you look what was what you were doing
- 31:13Speaker 3: to what you were doing. Now it's a little different,
- 31:16Speaker 3: but it's still funny. Yeah, less stuffy in the beard.
- 31:20Speaker 9: Yeah, exactly. I think when I started, I did a
- 31:23Speaker 9: lot more.
- 31:25Speaker 11: I wanted the concept of when people walk away from
- 31:28Speaker 11: my videos, I want them to be like, what the
- 31:30Speaker 11: crap did I just watch?
- 31:32Speaker 9: That's what I wanted.
- 31:33Speaker 11: That is the fact, and I kind of want to
- 31:34Speaker 11: go back to that a little bit with my skits
- 31:37Speaker 11: and stuff. I want people like, I think you should
- 31:39Speaker 11: I just watch so between that was my bang goal. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 11: I think you should so well.
- 31:46Speaker 1: One question that I usually ask everybody, and what got
- 31:50Speaker 1: you into TikTok?
- 31:52Speaker 11: Actually it was Gary Vee. Uh yeah, I loved watching
- 31:56Speaker 11: and stuff. I found him on Instagram. He popped up
- 31:58Speaker 11: on my page one day. I was like, who the
- 31:59Speaker 11: heck is this guy? And I'm like, you know, I'm
- 32:02Speaker 11: gonna start watching his stuff and uh figured out and
- 32:04Speaker 11: he started talking about musically One day I was like,
- 32:06Speaker 11: all right, what's what's this? And I looked it up
- 32:09Speaker 11: and it was, uh, it was TikTok before it became TikTok.
- 32:14Speaker 11: So a lot of people don't know that Musically was
- 32:16Speaker 11: actually bought out by TikTok, and because Musically did some
- 32:21Speaker 11: of the shady stuff. So uh, anyways, they paid all
- 32:24Speaker 11: that off and got rid of it and they took
- 32:26Speaker 11: over the that and merged TikTok with musically and I
- 32:33Speaker 11: just kind of got grandfathered in with a lot of
- 32:35Speaker 11: stuff that I was doing musically. But uh yeah, Gary
- 32:40Speaker 11: ve got me into uh musically, and I was actually
- 32:44Speaker 11: gonna promote more music and my book stuff.
- 32:47Speaker 9: I wasn't thinking I was going to do comedy.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It just worked out. Yeah, it is what Instagrams would
- 32:54Speaker 1: actually got me too through an ad. Yeah, got me good.
- 32:56Speaker 1: They know what they're doing over there on Instagram.
- 32:59Speaker 3: You remember if if it wasn't Gary, who was one
- 33:01Speaker 3: of the first people you followed on TikTok.
- 33:04Speaker 11: Oh, the Gil brothers, the guys that made funny faces
- 33:10Speaker 11: like they were freaking hysterical.
- 33:11Speaker 9: I love their stuff. Yeah, they still do a bunch
- 33:15Speaker 9: of stuff, but.
- 33:16Speaker 11: Like they're more on YouTube and uh I think, uh
- 33:21Speaker 11: they they still do some tiktoks, but they haven't really
- 33:24Speaker 11: figured out what to do on TikTok now because everyone's
- 33:28Speaker 11: saying that the uh funny faces are not it's not
- 33:32Speaker 11: comedy anymore so, and that was their whole thing.
- 33:35Speaker 4: But like I'm like, yeah, exactly.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Unless you got a filter game like read it's like yours. Yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 1: he's figuring out the TikTok.
- 33:45Speaker 9: Not a funny face, making funny faces, totally different.
- 33:48Speaker 4: It's the same thing here.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Do you remember the first video that went viral.
- 33:56Speaker 11: Yeah, my very first video was actually the I did
- 34:03Speaker 11: better than someone in the millions of what's it called?
- 34:07Speaker 11: They had like different challenges. So the challenge was pretend
- 34:11Speaker 11: pinch and I was looking for green in my house.
- 34:15Speaker 11: I was running around my house looking for green. I
- 34:17Speaker 11: was like, I gotta find the green, gotta find the green,
- 34:20Speaker 11: like running through my whole house on Saint Patrick's Day
- 34:22Speaker 11: so I didn't get pinched. And I'm running through the
- 34:24Speaker 11: house and then I look in the mirror and I
- 34:27Speaker 11: see my ear rings were green, and I'm like, we're good.
- 34:30Speaker 9: Everyone, I'm good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everyone just it blew up.
- 34:36Speaker 9: And that took me from two hundred no.
- 34:40Speaker 11: I think I had like sixty fans just from ragged
- 34:44Speaker 11: random stuff that I was doing to I think two
- 34:47Speaker 11: thousand in a week. And then I just kept growing
- 34:50Speaker 11: and I was like, oh my goodness.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Going through all this stuff too. The one video when
- 34:54Speaker 3: you did the you were Gonna Prank your wife? Yes,
- 34:57Speaker 3: like six point five million views or something a while too.
- 35:00Speaker 9: Yeah, yep. I think that one's almost that almost a
- 35:03Speaker 9: seven million.
- 35:04Speaker 11: Yeah, yep, that one was. That was my That's probably
- 35:07Speaker 11: my biggest one right now. But I've also done other
- 35:10Speaker 11: pranks on my wife and have a couple over a
- 35:13Speaker 11: million views on those.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Yeah. So you were a part of the Christmas beard contest.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Will you ever glitter the beard again?
- 35:20Speaker 11: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I actually did it before it
- 35:24Speaker 11: was Uh, I saw it before I did it, before
- 35:26Speaker 11: it was fun. You know, I did a glitter beard.
- 35:30Speaker 11: I had like different goals and I said what I
- 35:33Speaker 11: say at like fifty fans, eighty thousand fans, I do
- 35:38Speaker 11: a glitter beard. And I did it, and I post
- 35:41Speaker 11: it on YouTube. So the whole process, my friend actually
- 35:43Speaker 11: came over. She did it for me, and she did
- 35:44Speaker 11: like a galaxy beard. So you'd have to scroll back
- 35:47Speaker 11: on my YouTube channel. But the uh, the glitter beird's
- 35:50Speaker 11: on there.
- 35:51Speaker 1: That's that's a brutal cleanup. I remember, Yeah, you did
- 35:54Speaker 1: one too, and I was like, yeah, I decided to
- 35:56Speaker 1: leave the glitter beard in for the stream, and it's.
- 35:59Speaker 9: Just it's everywhere, man.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I have I have a daughter, and there there
- 36:04Speaker 3: was glitter all over for a little bit. And then
- 36:06Speaker 3: I glitter is now banned in the house, and.
- 36:08Speaker 11: Yeah, my mom is the same way. She's like, I
- 36:13Speaker 11: threatened to come over with a glitter beard one day.
- 36:14Speaker 11: She's like, don't you freaking do it? I will know,
- 36:17Speaker 11: don't you do it?
- 36:19Speaker 1: So you are the Lama King where come from?
- 36:24Speaker 9: So my wife actually started calling me Lama for a reason.
- 36:31Speaker 11: I'm actually not releasing that yet. I'm saying that or
- 36:34Speaker 11: a special video because it's kind of it's kind of embarrassing,
- 36:38Speaker 11: uh more for her. So only a couple of people know,
- 36:44Speaker 11: but I'm waiting for a million fans to release that,
- 36:47Speaker 11: so I will in the future. Like yeah, but my
- 36:52Speaker 11: wife always has called me Lama because of that. And
- 36:55Speaker 11: the reason I'm the Lama King is that in a video,
- 37:00Speaker 11: I had a painting of my wife painted me as
- 37:04Speaker 11: the Lama King and it is on the wall and
- 37:06Speaker 11: she's like, hey, hey, what's up. Sorry easily distracted, dude,
- 37:16Speaker 11: I got it's bad. I was like, oh, something shiny,
- 37:19Speaker 11: uh But anyways, the painting was on the wall and
- 37:24Speaker 11: a fan saw it. They zoomed in, I guess because
- 37:28Speaker 11: you can zoom in like on musically, and they're like,
- 37:31Speaker 11: he's the Lama King. Oh I had the Lama King
- 37:33Speaker 11: and just the chat. Yeah, and my lives streams are
- 37:35Speaker 11: all like, oh I had.
- 37:36Speaker 9: A Lama King. Oh I had Lama King. I'm like,
- 37:39Speaker 9: I'm the Loma King.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Now.
- 37:40Speaker 9: I'm gonna go one hundred percent on that.
- 37:41Speaker 1: All right, It's either yeah, it's either you get weirded
- 37:45Speaker 1: out or you just kind of roll with it. I mean, yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 1: it's done today, it's working.
- 37:49Speaker 9: Out well exactly.
- 37:50Speaker 5: So.
- 37:50Speaker 1: As mentioned in the intro, you are the king of filters.
- 37:53Speaker 1: And the reason I say you're the king of filters,
- 37:54Speaker 1: there's so many videos of you with so many different filters,
- 37:58Speaker 1: just rocking all of them, difference coming back and forth.
- 38:01Speaker 1: If you had to pick one of your favorite filters, ever,
- 38:04Speaker 1: I know it's gonna be tough to do. What would
- 38:06Speaker 1: one of your favorite filters be?
- 38:10Speaker 11: I'd probably go with the eyeshadow and makeup on honestly,
- 38:15Speaker 11: because I have a character. Her name's Becky, and I
- 38:18Speaker 11: don't think I can do it without her, you know.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It would be really it would be a little strange.
- 38:23Speaker 11: Without yeah, and I don't think I have the talents
- 38:26Speaker 11: yet to do that makeup. And I'm not calling one
- 38:29Speaker 11: of my buddies over, like, hey, can you can you
- 38:33Speaker 11: do some of my intense makeup on me?
- 38:35Speaker 9: Thanks?
- 38:36Speaker 1: I need to bring Becky out tonight.
- 38:38Speaker 9: Becky's the character, I mean, she's my roommate.
- 38:40Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 1: So obviously also mentioned that you are all about the pranks.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Yeah, what do you think is one of the best
- 38:50Speaker 3: pranks you've pulled off or one that had every potential
- 38:54Speaker 3: but didn't make it either one.
- 38:57Speaker 9: Those are two different ones. I got both of those.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Well, let's hear we got time.
- 39:02Speaker 9: So the one that I wish went off a lot
- 39:07Speaker 9: better was probably I was trying to prank my wife.
- 39:14Speaker 11: And she it was like, you know that you're walking
- 39:18Speaker 11: through the house with like a tortilla and it slapped
- 39:22Speaker 11: like yeah, that one, she blocked it, and there's a
- 39:30Speaker 11: geno miss fail. I'm like, did you give you the
- 39:34Speaker 11: Like I don't, I don't remember, but she definitely.
- 39:37Speaker 9: Blocked it, Like yeah, she's funny. She's like, yeah, I
- 39:46Speaker 9: got skilled. I didn't try it again.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Bring it back unless she's watching, and then you're definitely.
- 39:52Speaker 9: Not a yeah I never did know never she's probably watching.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Uh.
- 39:59Speaker 11: But the other one that I was really proud of,
- 40:02Speaker 11: I got my wife with the rubber Band Around the Sink,
- 40:07Speaker 11: classic novel, and I was like, hey, babe, can you
- 40:12Speaker 11: turn the hot water to thought the chicken? And she's
- 40:15Speaker 11: like yeah, sure, she got her soaking wet.
- 40:18Speaker 9: She's like that she is so bad.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Nice, you're cleaning all this water up. I'm like, yeah, okay,
- 40:24Speaker 1: you touched it last.
- 40:26Speaker 9: Yeah, you touched it last.
- 40:29Speaker 1: So you are a gamer and you play on Twitch
- 40:33Speaker 1: and you broadcast on twitch. Obviously you know I would.
- 40:35Speaker 3: I had the pleasure of being on stream with you once,
- 40:37Speaker 3: had a great time to you and Mike and it's
- 40:40Speaker 3: for the plug Twitch dot tv read the lotmaking.
- 40:44Speaker 1: What got you into gaming?
- 40:45Speaker 3: Was it something you kind of did as a child,
- 40:47Speaker 3: just kind of always were into it, or what kind
- 40:49Speaker 3: of got you into it?
- 40:51Speaker 11: I was always a gamer, like not as hardcore as
- 40:54Speaker 11: my older brother, but I definitely played. I started off
- 40:57Speaker 11: playing Pokemon, then graduated to like Donkey Kong on sixty four,
- 41:02Speaker 11: then going over to Halo on Xbox.
- 41:05Speaker 9: I think Halo is.
- 41:06Speaker 11: Probably like one of my main games that really played
- 41:09Speaker 11: growing up. Because parties, Oh yeah, we definitely had those
- 41:13Speaker 11: for birthday parties and stuff like people bring over the
- 41:16Speaker 11: TVs and xboxes and running cables through rooms and stuff.
- 41:20Speaker 1: It was great.
- 41:21Speaker 11: Oh yeah, I don't think anyone will know that problem
- 41:24Speaker 11: now they're just like online.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And some of them were heavy TVs. You're talking to
- 41:29Speaker 1: the old CRTTV.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's now you're twelve years old.
- 41:33Speaker 3: You're twelve years old, one hundred and ten pounds, just
- 41:35Speaker 3: like Logan was last week. Still can't lift the TV
- 41:38Speaker 3: to bring it over for.
- 41:38Speaker 1: The LAMB party.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Yep, yeah, we went.
- 41:42Speaker 10: We went to a basketball tournament when I was I
- 41:44Speaker 10: don't know, it's like twenty one, twenty two years ago now,
- 41:48Speaker 10: had a basketball tournament with I can't remember, maybe six
- 41:51Speaker 10: PlayStation or something like that, had like ten different teams.
- 41:54Speaker 10: Well one of the I only had two TV access,
- 41:56Speaker 10: but my brother's TV was one of them, and it
- 41:59Speaker 10: was the color came in half color, half black and white,
- 42:03Speaker 10: and it was like we had to rig some cables
- 42:05Speaker 10: up and there were the cables that yet put it. Yeah,
- 42:08Speaker 10: you had to put You had to rig the cables
- 42:09Speaker 10: up and put them in and screw them in and
- 42:11Speaker 10: we made it work somehow, I don't know how. One
- 42:13Speaker 10: of the kids was a genius and like basketball and
- 42:16Speaker 10: this half black and white PlayStation Square it was ridiculous.
- 42:20Speaker 4: That's probably the last time I've ever done that.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Actually, it was weird.
- 42:23Speaker 9: I don't remember the last time I did it.
- 42:26Speaker 1: What So, you you mentioned a couple of games that
- 42:30Speaker 1: that you played.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Do you remember what was the first game that you played,
- 42:33Speaker 3: or at least you remember playing Pokemon Pokemon.
- 42:36Speaker 9: Yep, definitely I started off on Pokemon Blue. Nice yep,
- 42:40Speaker 9: I remember that.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And uh, what is your game of choice these days?
- 42:44Speaker 1: I feel like I know what it is, but just
- 42:46Speaker 1: in case anybody else.
- 42:47Speaker 6: I go back.
- 42:49Speaker 11: I'm a variety streamer, so I stream a lot of games.
- 42:51Speaker 11: I just like playing with other people, so I usually
- 42:55Speaker 11: go My go to is Apex. Next up is probably
- 43:00Speaker 11: Legal Legends than Overwatch. I am enjoying Call of Duty
- 43:05Speaker 11: war Zone right now.
- 43:06Speaker 9: I really like that.
- 43:07Speaker 1: I downloaded it and went through the tutorial and that's
- 43:10Speaker 1: as far as I've made it so far. It's fun
- 43:12Speaker 1: ninety gigs just sitting there.
- 43:15Speaker 9: So I also like Destiny too, and a bunch of
- 43:17Speaker 9: VR games.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Nice.
- 43:20Speaker 9: I'm working right now. I don't know why.
- 43:21Speaker 1: So who is the better gamer of you and the brothers?
- 43:26Speaker 11: My older brother, Oh dude, he's He'll carry me like
- 43:32Speaker 11: his back to victory.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Do you guys still play a lot like whether you're doing.
- 43:36Speaker 9: Yeah, we play like probably once a week, have time.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Who has the better beard?
- 43:44Speaker 12: Me?
- 43:45Speaker 8: Nice?
- 43:46Speaker 11: We all have beards. I have an older and younger brother.
- 43:49Speaker 11: So my younger brother is actually on TikTok as.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Well, and he's got the one with the long flowing
- 43:54Speaker 1: hair and the beard.
- 43:56Speaker 9: Yep.
- 43:56Speaker 11: Yeah, he actually just passed me on followers. So he's
- 43:59Speaker 11: at like two No, three, twenty five getting a challenge
- 44:07Speaker 11: on that one.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Yes, I think we need.
- 44:09Speaker 11: I'm super happy with him, Like I told him to
- 44:13Speaker 11: lean into his body positivity videos and he just went
- 44:17Speaker 11: from seventy five k to wherever he's going now, Like like, dude,
- 44:23Speaker 11: get it.
- 44:23Speaker 9: I'm so happy for him.
- 44:25Speaker 1: So who won Super Smash Brothers pre wedding in Miami?
- 44:30Speaker 1: Did you?
- 44:31Speaker 9: Oh? Yeah, I say it to stored him Nice.
- 44:33Speaker 1: That was that was a that's a fun That was
- 44:34Speaker 1: a funny little video.
- 44:36Speaker 3: So if you guys don't know what I'm talking about,
- 44:37Speaker 3: go through the go through the tiktoks of reads and
- 44:40Speaker 3: see if you can find what video I'm talking about.
- 44:43Speaker 3: And when you do, tag beard laws and logan beard
- 44:45Speaker 3: laws too, so we know that you found it in
- 44:48Speaker 3: every video from now till then hit the like button
- 44:51Speaker 3: and see how many that it's going.
- 44:53Speaker 1: To be a couple.
- 44:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 44:54Speaker 3: So any beard products that you're using, or any beard
- 44:57Speaker 3: products that you might be an affiliated with that you
- 44:59Speaker 3: want to plug or what not.
- 45:01Speaker 11: Really, I just I do use my wife got me
- 45:06Speaker 11: Philip DeFranco's Beautiful Bastards stuff.
- 45:10Speaker 9: So but I'm running low on it, so nice.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Well, if you ever need some, you hit me up.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I have a wall full of them, and I have lots.
- 45:16Speaker 9: Of suggestions, dude, yeah, not even joking. Yes, yeah, And.
- 45:20Speaker 3: There's potential breaking news that there might be down the
- 45:24Speaker 3: road some beard law oil's being worked.
- 45:29Speaker 1: You heard it here first.
- 45:30Speaker 9: I might have to get some of that.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's probably a little ways out, but that's something
- 45:34Speaker 3: that that we're working on and I think it's gonna
- 45:35Speaker 3: be so cool.
- 45:36Speaker 1: So if anybody really knows any insider tips, to make sure,
- 45:38Speaker 1: you hit us up.
- 45:41Speaker 3: So we talked about earlier also in the intro that
- 45:44Speaker 3: you are a published artist and for anybody that doesn't know,
- 45:49Speaker 3: this is the book and he's got one too, and
- 45:55Speaker 3: I haven't admitted I have not ready yet.
- 45:57Speaker 1: It just came in the mail, and it's a pretty
- 45:59Speaker 1: cool thing if you got are interested in supporting an
- 46:01Speaker 1: amazing man.
- 46:02Speaker 3: I think he's still running a special world. He will
- 46:04Speaker 3: actually autograph it and personalize it for you. So we'll
- 46:08Speaker 3: tell you, guys here in a second, or you can
- 46:10Speaker 3: tell him now and we'll tell him again where you
- 46:12Speaker 3: can find the book.
- 46:13Speaker 11: So you can find my book on the link of
- 46:15Speaker 11: my bio, on TikTok or Instagram. I have it undersigned
- 46:19Speaker 11: copies I've been doing. I have a bunch actually, I
- 46:23Speaker 11: just like the past week or two, I've probably shipped
- 46:27Speaker 11: out over sixty which he's crazy. So I thank everyone
- 46:32Speaker 11: that's got it. He guys amazing.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Any so what got you into writing? Was it
- 46:39Speaker 1: something that you have always loved, you learn to love,
- 46:43Speaker 1: or an idea that said you know what this is it?
- 46:48Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 46:48Speaker 11: Actually that last one. So I worked a really mundane
- 46:51Speaker 11: job and I was just so bored at work and
- 46:57Speaker 11: I was just frying chicken, and thoughts just started popping
- 47:02Speaker 11: in my mind, the scenarios of like different things that
- 47:05Speaker 11: are I was basically just daydreaming, and I just started
- 47:08Speaker 11: writing it down while I was at work and put
- 47:11Speaker 11: it in my notes on my phone and just compiling it.
- 47:15Speaker 11: I'm like, you know what, I might actually turn this
- 47:16Speaker 11: into something. I started writing chapters and keep going. I
- 47:19Speaker 11: was like, yeah, this is fun. I like this, and
- 47:21Speaker 11: it just helped me pass the time while I was
- 47:23Speaker 11: at work. I didn't think it was not turning into anything.
- 47:25Speaker 11: And then I got done and my mom once I
- 47:31Speaker 11: was done, she went to she just got back from
- 47:34Speaker 11: a conference and she met a.
- 47:39Speaker 9: Publisher and she's like, hey.
- 47:41Speaker 11: I got his contact information stuff, and I'm like, say
- 47:43Speaker 11: what It was just it was just perfect timing.
- 47:46Speaker 9: So I was like exactly. I was just like, wow,
- 47:49Speaker 9: that's amazing.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 47:51Speaker 3: And I think we briefly talked about it too, and
- 47:53Speaker 3: it's just it's just been very inspiring and kind of
- 47:56Speaker 3: like something that's kind of been in the back of
- 47:59Speaker 3: my mind, and so I'm Alonegan's mind as well. Like
- 48:01Speaker 3: you have an idea, you get a concept, and if
- 48:03Speaker 3: you work hard to get a little bit of luck
- 48:05Speaker 3: and find out some people know, some people spend some
- 48:07Speaker 3: money on it, you really can make something you know
- 48:10Speaker 3: of a dreamer and make it into a living and
- 48:12Speaker 3: a passion.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And it's it's been pretty cool what you've been able
- 48:15Speaker 1: to do.
- 48:16Speaker 9: Yeah, thank you.
- 48:17Speaker 1: So I know what it's.
- 48:18Speaker 3: It's inspired because obviously we're big fans of the Beard Laws,
- 48:21Speaker 3: and it's something that we would love to eventually have
- 48:23Speaker 3: it as our you know job.
- 48:26Speaker 1: But you know, it's it's not quite there yet.
- 48:29Speaker 3: We pushed, you know, with having amazing guests, you know,
- 48:31Speaker 3: like yourself and everybody else, and just trying to get
- 48:34Speaker 3: the word out.
- 48:34Speaker 1: It's it's slowly becoming a thing. We're having a blast
- 48:36Speaker 1: doing it.
- 48:37Speaker 9: That's awesome.
- 48:38Speaker 4: And a lot of the process was it to.
- 48:43Speaker 7: To like specifically write the book, not like have all
- 48:46Speaker 7: the ideas like when you like were like, hey, I'm
- 48:48Speaker 7: going to actually do this, to write between like writing
- 48:51Speaker 7: the book, finishing it, and then I.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Guess being able to give it give it to to
- 48:58Speaker 4: the editor whatever however you know, the publisher.
- 49:01Speaker 9: Okay.
- 49:01Speaker 11: So it was a two year process and it took
- 49:04Speaker 11: about I was also in college at this time, so
- 49:07Speaker 11: I was going to school, going to work, and I
- 49:11Speaker 11: was also recently married, so I was writing and doing
- 49:17Speaker 11: all these different things. But it took about six months
- 49:19Speaker 11: to write it, and then it took a year and
- 49:23Speaker 11: a half back and forth with the publisher to get
- 49:26Speaker 11: it edited, get processed, approved designs, improve context, and just edit.
- 49:34Speaker 11: There was a lot of editing and that it Honestly,
- 49:36Speaker 11: it should have only taken less than a year to do.
- 49:40Speaker 11: But we also moved out to California during that time.
- 49:43Speaker 11: We went to school over there, and then we came
- 49:46Speaker 11: back and it was just a lot of wasted time.
- 49:52Speaker 11: Looking back on it, I'm like, that could have been
- 49:54Speaker 11: done so much quicker. Honestly, probably, looking back on it,
- 49:59Speaker 11: I learned a lot from that, But like this time
- 50:03Speaker 11: around for my second book, I'll definitely do some more
- 50:06Speaker 11: things to push it to make it go quicker.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well you finally spell words correctly, words like.
- 50:16Speaker 9: And exactly jotting it down?
- 50:20Speaker 11: Yeah, yes, dude, Like, honestly, my spelling grammar sucks, all right.
- 50:31Speaker 9: I am more of the creative. I'm not like a.
- 50:36Speaker 11: I see myself more as a creative person than a
- 50:39Speaker 11: author or uh tell the story instead of worry about
- 50:43Speaker 11: what it looks like exactly. I guess I'm more big
- 50:45Speaker 11: picture and I can do detail, but it definitely takes
- 50:50Speaker 11: a lot more focus. But like my English teacher, she
- 50:54Speaker 11: freaking hated reading it because of because she'd actually checked
- 51:00Speaker 11: it out before I went to the editor. I had
- 51:02Speaker 11: twenty three people, by the way, read my book before
- 51:04Speaker 11: I sent the UK to the editor. And I think
- 51:09Speaker 11: I still have one or two missed spellings or something
- 51:12Speaker 11: or grammara crap happens.
- 51:15Speaker 9: But editor, that's on that about out right. So but
- 51:20Speaker 9: that's all right.
- 51:22Speaker 11: It's got its own little quirks and I'm happy with it.
- 51:25Speaker 11: Like and I'll definitely learned from the experience that I
- 51:28Speaker 11: just did, so.
- 51:31Speaker 1: That's absolutely amazing. And like, like we talked about too,
- 51:34Speaker 1: and you know, Beard Laws is trying to get a
- 51:37Speaker 1: little book out as well, and me and Me and
- 51:39Speaker 1: Reed have talked a little bit offline, and he's offered
- 51:42Speaker 1: some advice.
- 51:43Speaker 3: But I want to personally, you know, face to face,
- 51:45Speaker 3: thank you for that. And I'm sure I'll have some
- 51:47Speaker 3: more questions and further conversations. And it's gonna be much
- 51:51Speaker 3: less words than than yours, so and much different and
- 51:58Speaker 3: people that are going to read it, so yeah, I mean, mine, mine,
- 52:04Speaker 3: Mine's gonna be very simple, and it's gonna be ideal
- 52:07Speaker 3: for like a crapper book, something you're gonna read while
- 52:09Speaker 3: you're gonna poop or something and have a good little laugh,
- 52:12Speaker 3: have a good little poop and you're gonna be like,
- 52:14Speaker 3: oh yeahs wady to go. I appreciate that nice. So no,
- 52:17Speaker 3: no more spoilers that that's all you get for. I mean,
- 52:21Speaker 3: you're gonna know more, and he's gonna know more, but
- 52:23Speaker 3: but not then, not them yet. So yeah, So I
- 52:29Speaker 3: guess this is gonna be the time where we're gonna
- 52:31Speaker 3: we're gonna blow you up on a big screen. And
- 52:33Speaker 3: then obviously the interview was all about you trying to
- 52:36Speaker 3: help you know, everybody that might not have known you
- 52:39Speaker 3: pop in, you know, get to know you a little better,
- 52:42Speaker 3: see where they can find you and where they can
- 52:45Speaker 3: get the book. So we're gonna go big screen. Just
- 52:48Speaker 3: what you have coming up, what you want to promote,
- 52:50Speaker 3: tell the people what you want to hear.
- 52:53Speaker 9: Thank you? All right? What's up? Everybody?
- 52:56Speaker 11: My name is read edge It and I am also
- 52:59Speaker 11: known as the Lama King. I wrote a book called
- 53:02Speaker 11: Cronkle's The Second Realm. You could pick it up on
- 53:04Speaker 11: my website or go to the link of my bio

- 54:10Speaker 13: like think about it.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Meg Camper waits to read it, She's gonna read
- 54:15Speaker 3: through it. I'm sure he has a great singing voice.
- 54:18Speaker 4: She sounds like he does.
- 54:19Speaker 7: Yeah, this little area are talking to all these people
- 54:23Speaker 7: around the country, Like, who figured that out?
- 54:26Speaker 4: A couple a year ago? Would we have been doing
- 54:29Speaker 4: this now?
- 54:30Speaker 12: Now?
- 54:30Speaker 6: The dude wrote a book.
- 54:32Speaker 4: He wrote a book.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Yep.
- 54:35Speaker 3: So if you guys are into like science fiction type things,
- 54:39Speaker 3: go check it out, go give it some love. I
- 54:42Speaker 3: think I paid I want to say, fourteen ninety nine
- 54:46Speaker 3: for the autograph personalized autograph one. It might be a
- 54:49Speaker 3: little bit cheaper without it, So either ten ten to
- 54:51Speaker 3: fifteen bucks and support an amazing guy in his dream
- 54:56Speaker 3: and an artist and a friend of the show. So,
- 54:58Speaker 3: like I said, Beard Laws has been working. We've been
- 55:01Speaker 3: working probably good part of probably six seven months. I'm
- 55:05Speaker 3: getting a little book released for us, not a science fiction,
- 55:09Speaker 3: not a big book, but something, so be on the
- 55:11Speaker 3: lookout for that. Hopefully some of you have seen some
- 55:14Speaker 3: of the the graphic work that's been published already in
- 55:18Speaker 3: the Instagram and stuff like that, so hopefully we can.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Continue to move on that. I'm going to press a
- 55:23Speaker 1: couple more people to get some stuff done and hopefully
- 55:26Speaker 1: that that'll be released and he's going to actually introduce
- 55:28Speaker 1: us into some people to make that happen. What's up, Jesse?
- 55:32Speaker 1: So what's up, Logan? He got a year in my thoughts.
- 55:35Speaker 4: I don't, man, I apologize this, this whole thing just
- 55:40Speaker 4: sitting around doing nothing.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Oh wait a minute, maybe I do maybe your trip
- 55:45Speaker 1: in whole WHI or anything I got paid you got.
- 55:50Speaker 4: I'm not a fan of this, this whole.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Well, it's just gonna be a year in my thought
- 55:54Speaker 1: because I've got to hit the intro. Hit the intro.
- 55:57Speaker 3: You got you got yourself intro, Johnny, and it really
- 56:00Speaker 3: wants to see the intro. So and it just fits
- 56:02Speaker 3: you in your shirt. All right, here's the intro.
- 56:04Speaker 1: It is now time for you're in my thoughts.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Actually me, pe silhoue whatever. So I'm laid off, unemployed, whatever.
- 56:27Speaker 4: I'm not proud of this.
- 56:28Speaker 6: It is what it is.
- 56:29Speaker 4: It's one of those things that me and thousands upon
- 56:33Speaker 4: thousands of other people right now cannot control.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Thousands and thousands exactly.
- 56:40Speaker 7: However, we have been budgeting with the idea that because
- 56:45Speaker 7: it's hard to get on online and we're we're in
- 56:49Speaker 7: the NY, it's hard to get in line, and you know,
- 56:53Speaker 7: maybe we'll get it, maybe we won't. It took almost
- 56:56Speaker 7: a full week to actually just apply your.
- 57:00Speaker 13: Budgeting that you know, if we don't see this money,
- 57:03Speaker 13: it is what it is, it'll suck. Whatever we got
- 57:05Speaker 13: paid day. I don't want to be unemployed.
- 57:11Speaker 4: I hate this silver lining to anyone who is in
- 57:15Speaker 4: the same spot that I am. I get to hang
- 57:19Speaker 4: out with my kids. Best thing ever, although if anyone
- 57:25Speaker 4: wants then for two.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Weeks more than that, he's not going to give away children.
- 57:33Speaker 4: No, remember earlier she said she had a favorite.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that happens. That happens to the best of us.
- 57:41Speaker 12: So like, yes, naturally, like I got paid, so it
- 57:48Speaker 12: makes the stress less, I guess, like it's so now
- 57:52Speaker 12: like that part of the whole stress thing is gone,
- 57:54Speaker 12: and then they're doing the extra stuff, like what we
- 57:57Speaker 12: get an extra chunk from somebody, and then the government
- 58:00Speaker 12: did the extra chunk.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Like I wasn't planning on honestly seeing anything because I
- 58:04Speaker 4: didn't believe it. I don't believe anything until I see it.
- 58:06Speaker 4: So that took that stress away. So at least been
- 58:09Speaker 4: more in a good spot that we have. We're comfortable.
- 58:15Speaker 13: It's still tough, but you know, the timing was good.
- 58:18Speaker 13: The kids have a new playground, all this other stuff.
- 58:20Speaker 13: But anyways, the point was like silver lining with this
- 58:24Speaker 13: is hang out with my kids, hang out with my wife.
- 58:29Speaker 13: I have more time to do some more stuff with
- 58:32Speaker 13: you and everyone here and watching but also like I
- 58:37Speaker 13: can do stuff around the house. I can sleep in,
- 58:39Speaker 13: which is my thing because I stay up till three
- 58:41Speaker 13: in the morning.
- 58:42Speaker 4: So you're in my thoughts.
- 58:44Speaker 13: As bad as this is for a lot of people,
- 58:48Speaker 13: and this whole thing sucks. If you can find a
- 58:51Speaker 13: silver lining, find it and then run with it. Because
- 58:54Speaker 13: quite honestly, this is my trip to Hawaii.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you that was a good and I was wondering
- 59:00Speaker 1: where you were going. I'm what you did there, that's funny.
- 59:05Speaker 4: It is what it is, what it is. I know
- 59:07Speaker 4: a lot of people don't like that, but it is
- 59:09Speaker 4: what it is.
- 59:11Speaker 7: I'm lucky enough my mother in law cuts my hair, so, like,
- 59:13Speaker 7: I know a lot of people are like, dude, I
- 59:16Speaker 7: can't even get out hair cut.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel so bad that people can't get it.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Well, Like, here's the thing though, Like, if you're if
- 59:25Speaker 7: you're with a significant other or anybody, if you're if
- 59:27Speaker 7: you're quarantined with your with your buddy, your roommate, whatever,
- 59:30Speaker 7: let them.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Cut your hair. You're not going anywhere anyways, So try
- 59:34Speaker 4: something new. I've been asking my youngest, my three year old,
- 59:37Speaker 4: I cutting hair today. He keeps telling me. For the
- 59:39Speaker 4: last four days straight tomorrow, Daddy trusts me.
- 59:44Speaker 7: Okay, a liar, but the idea, the idea of it
- 59:48Speaker 7: being at least like, yes, this sounds I want a
- 59:51Speaker 7: barstool more than anything in the.
- 59:53Speaker 1: World right now.
- 59:54Speaker 4: I need a draft Beard, I need you need to
- 59:57Speaker 4: hang out with the guys and talks to baseball. Sorry,
- 59:59Speaker 4: what do you say?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Aren't you sitting in a bar school.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: It's not the same budget. Although, although we're working on
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: building the bar down cellar nice. So that's gonna be nice.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: But the silver lining is that now not for everybody,
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: but now we can do some other things that we
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: haven't been able to do.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: So you can find the silver lining. Find the silver lining,
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: go to Hawaii.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I don't even know what that what a lining of
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: silver looks like. I've been looking for a while.
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: It's been a term.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: And then they had the movie with Bradley Cooper and
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: silver Lining or silver lining playbooker.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I think it was around before Bradley Cooper.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Oh the term absolutely. Yeah.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Anyways, for people who are come get a boss gunch tomorrow,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you're in my thoughts.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: They're in my thoughts.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: How's the tanning going there? Uh?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Dick point are you super tanned? I want to see
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: an updated picture on the profile of you all tanned up.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: Afraid to god, he's not tanning right now.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: He doesn't tanning while he does puzzles. His word on
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: the street right when he's not bagging lunches.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: That's just when tanning, bagging lunches and doing puzzles, I
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: would do some puzzle.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Doesn't tan and puzzle and bag lunch.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: I think he bags the lunches, then he does the tanning,
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: then he does the puzzle different locations.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Well, if he's good at the other two.
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: If he's good at the other two, as he is
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: bagging lunches, he doesn't have time to do the other
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Like he all absolutely so.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: For anybody that is around, Tuesday is trivia night, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: we have a pretty tough champion to beat. Pat Logan
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: tried last week, fell a little bit short. Part of
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: me thinks he might come back.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: For a little vengeance this week.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Not sure yet, but if you know anybody Logan that
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: might be interested, or if you anybody that's watching now
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: or watching the replay knows somebody, whether it's yourself or
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: somebody that's really good at trivia that wants in on
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: the action.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Let us know.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: And all you do is you come on live and
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: we asked the questions. You'll write the answers and then uh,
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: we'll see who the champion is.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: I might have a ringer I could bring on, but
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: I don't want to bring him on because I'll never
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: win again. No one will ever win. He's a genius who.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: His name is?
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Dolan?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Oh, Ryan, you know, no one you know what got about? Yeah? Hey,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: whoever wants to come.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: You know, when someone describes someone as smart, being like,
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: I mean, they can also be like crazy, but.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Like they're like, we beat him in sports trivia.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: We did because it was just even one of them.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: We had a team of six geniuses, but no one
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: I was part of it. He's super smart.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: But yeah, so spread the word. If anybody wants to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: right now defending champ pat potentially bringing back Barncap maybe
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Logan to have it. But that's if we if we
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: don't have anybody else, or if they're still a little
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: upset about last week. But he is the champion so far,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and we want to see if anybody can take him down.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: So if anybody Brian, if you know anybody, Jesse, John,
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: anybody that's been in the chat, if you guys know somebody.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: That's pretty good at trivia, let us yeah, and it's
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: it's just a good time, you know what I mean.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: And uh, it's about at the hour, so I think
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: we're gonna try to wrap up this episode.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I want to thank Madeleine Janelle Art for coming on
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and being the futured artist. I want to thank read
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: edge it for being on here and just being amazing
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: as well. And yeah, it was. It was a great episode,

- 1:03:32Speaker 1: thank you for watching. Anybody that's still live, thank you
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: for watching it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: And uh, like I said, we'll be live Tuesday for
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: trivia and then back at it next Thursday with another episode,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: and we'll just stick around for the social media's to
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: see who that guest is. Make sure you guys, stay safe,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: wash your hands, do all that good stuff out there,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: and potentially we might be going live on scene at
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: some point. Stay tuned for details.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: But thank you guys very much.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Stay safe, and if anybody needs anything even to just chat,
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: hit us up. We do random game nights with friends
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: and all that stuff. You can pop in here, hang out,
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: play some games with us. So it's been another fun
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: little Thursday. I know a few people that is good,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: but just trivia and Spanish.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: No, we don't know. We don't know the Spanish.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Thank you guys very much. We're gonna hit you guys
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: with the outro. It's been another amazing show. So uh yeah,
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: be safe, be good. Tomorrow's Friday, even.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Though it might still feel like a Monday, or for
