- 0:10Speaker 1: Wait, true true the tromp.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'm a checked up, that is.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Wait the adults, Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy the Show.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I'm Adam Todd Brown.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Back of the Trap. Everybody, it's me.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It's Connor mcspadden.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Uh Lord Crawford with the dick uh back once again.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I gathered up the remnants of Ross Perrot's nineteen seventies
- 0:52Speaker 1: Iran hostage rescue team. We initiated a raider David Spade
- 0:59Speaker 1: com pound and broke Connor out for a night.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yeah, they're able to give me the week of Thanksgiving off.
- 1:04Speaker 3: He was a really good correct team. We negotiate together
- 1:08Speaker 3: with Jack.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Ryan and James Bond, and the whole.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Old counter still has a black bag over his head.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I do. Yeah, I don't know where.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I know where he is, but I believe I'm in
- 1:17Speaker 3: some sort of like unincorporated Bourbank County Land.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I think we're in an illegal apartment.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe I'm This is sort of like it.
- 1:25Speaker 3: It feels like if they used to hide illegal illegal
- 1:28Speaker 3: immigrants in here, and now it's been like two owners later,
- 1:32Speaker 3: and it's just sort of like a frictional kind of
- 1:35Speaker 3: like office temping space.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Now it's just podcast hosts and the ghosts of illegal
- 1:40Speaker 1: immigrants who died here.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and probably that you can.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You can still hear them asking for clean drinking water
- 1:46Speaker 3: during some some downbeat moments on list cast.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I think it's a little bit creepy.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, turn that volume up.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Yeah man, it's good to be back.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks for doing it. I yeah, it's so weird,
- 1:58Speaker 1: like when you weren't able to do this show anymore.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Like when I like anything, like a podcast, a band,
- 2:05Speaker 1: a TV show, I go out of my way to
- 2:08Speaker 1: learn as much about the people involved.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like I love.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I would go in Wikipedia for hours just reading about
- 2:15Speaker 3: like what did Joe Strummer like to do?
- 2:16Speaker 2: I like the songs you wrote.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Like my my morning routine is watching this show on
- 2:20Speaker 1: ESPN called First Take two hours. It's everything I need
- 2:24Speaker 1: to know about sports.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It's so stupid, so.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I know everything also that I need to know about
- 2:29Speaker 1: Steven A. Smith, Max Kellerman, and Molly Carmyes they host
- 2:33Speaker 1: the show. But the reason I bring that up is
- 2:35Speaker 1: because I assumed that people just knew you were writing
- 2:39Speaker 1: for a David Spade show and didn't have time to
- 2:41Speaker 1: do like I, Oh yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I guess, and maybe people thought we had some sort
- 2:45Speaker 2: of b for some sort of like.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And I also assume that if anyone listens to this podcast,
- 2:51Speaker 1: they listen to mean boys Joe, Yeah, so they would
- 2:54Speaker 1: like they would hear from you directly what's going on.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I kind of too.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I never felt I never like, well, I also just
- 3:00Speaker 3: think like I'm by no means like I'm I guess
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm vaguely a public figure, but not like a good one.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So it's like I don't want to put it a
- 3:06Speaker 2: fucking press release. Who cares.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's like kind of cheesy. I got five thousand followers, Like,
- 3:10Speaker 3: I don't know, there's a few people like me.
- 3:12Speaker 2: They figured they probably figured.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It out, you know, they heard the shit, but uh yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 3: it was weird reading some like every.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Once in a while people be like what happens? And
- 3:20Speaker 2: I'm like, not a nut, Like I got a job,
- 3:22Speaker 2: like you know it's in Burbank, like people.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Like, especially if you've been following me long enough, you know,
- 3:29Speaker 1: if we had beef, i'd probably say it on Twitter.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, we get in like you'd know we
- 3:35Speaker 2: Adam would have shooters.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you would have seen the fuck Connor mcspaden tweet
- 3:39Speaker 1: by now, yeah, God.
- 3:40Speaker 2: That would have been like, talk about a guy you
- 3:42Speaker 2: don't want to start beef with, it'd be a huge
- 3:44Speaker 2: pain in the ass. It's just a lot of really
- 3:47Speaker 2: kind of like well, first of all, I think even
- 3:49Speaker 2: worse than sort of the like, uh, not worse, but
- 3:52Speaker 2: a different kind of bad than like if you like,
- 3:54Speaker 2: say you got like in in trouble with like sort
- 3:58Speaker 2: of like weird dark web neo con nazi. Yeah, kind
- 4:01Speaker 2: of like trolley jerky shitty guys.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Like there's that and like that's its own thing, but
- 4:07Speaker 3: just a bunch of like fucking you know, middle class
- 4:12Speaker 3: office workers with NBA's that like Iron Giant memes.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I'm like, I.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Can't think of anything that would piss me off or
- 4:18Speaker 3: haunt me more as it followed me around. I would,
- 4:21Speaker 3: I would, I'll kiss the ring just to avoid any
- 4:24Speaker 3: of that nonsense.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Any iron Giant, don't Iron Giant. Connor mcspaden well, yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 1: And they're just like a lot of pops fit.
- 4:31Speaker 3: They're just like they kind of remind me of my
- 4:32Speaker 3: high school friend Amy, who always had a really really
- 4:35Speaker 3: big backpack and super organized And I mean, we're gonna
- 4:39Speaker 3: have fucking Monopoly night. But we're gonna go backwards and
- 4:42Speaker 3: we'll do it like a demolition and we we're playing
- 4:44Speaker 3: mini golf, but the floor is lava and just a
- 4:46Speaker 3: lot of shit that just.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Makes me want to puke shit out of my eyes.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So that's us. That's on Pops fandom.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Not all of them, not all, there's just there's that's like,
- 4:55Speaker 2: those are the kind of people that go out of
- 4:56Speaker 2: their way to do ship like that or to participate
- 4:59Speaker 2: in one of these Twitter mob hits. So dude, you
- 5:01Speaker 2: better believe I'm not starting any beef with you. Man.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I've always tried to keep our fan bases cordial
- 5:07Speaker 1: because I.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Like, yeah, no, like I did always get along, but
- 5:09Speaker 2: we I.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Did the Last Mean Boys show. I got drunk and
- 5:13Speaker 1: sad and kind of bombed and it was really fun.
- 5:15Speaker 2: No, that was really fun, man, uh because I love.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You guys, and I always like, I always got like
- 5:21Speaker 1: tense when people would try to make it seem like
- 5:24Speaker 1: there was just like a divide between our fan bases.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Well it was we stole whatever, twenty percent of your
- 5:31Speaker 3: fan base. Like that's like, that's it's not a divide,
- 5:33Speaker 3: it's a plantition. It's another user on the fucking Windows machine,
- 5:38Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Like yeah, and it's like, man, we all get along.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It's great, it's no good, it's relaxed, really fine. We
- 5:44Speaker 2: all we liked the whole fucking crew. You know, there's
- 5:47Speaker 2: never really like I don't think any of us have
- 5:50Speaker 2: ever ever thought about it that much.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Right, It's not that like it's like when it's all
- 5:54Speaker 3: gets on the internet and you sort of just see
- 5:56Speaker 3: it in the series of like whatever tweets or conversations,
- 5:58Speaker 3: you kind of like extrapolate your thing.
- 6:00Speaker 2: But it's like, I don't know, we didn't really. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 2: it's not it's not just some big complicated thing.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you're just on the internet one day and you realize, oh,
- 6:07Speaker 1: people think we hate each other. Okay, I know it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: so fucking yeah, but we don't.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Like like it's I don't even think people realize that
- 6:14Speaker 3: we don't like hang out.
- 6:15Speaker 2: We never really like hung out. We would do the.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Show and like, I like, we get along, the same
- 6:20Speaker 3: thing happening. We're friends, but it happens.
- 6:22Speaker 1: With bands, or it happened when like when I left Cracked,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I would occasionally tweet a shady little thing at one
- 6:30Speaker 1: of my former bosses.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and like very justified knowing a little more
- 6:34Speaker 3: about the backstory than maybe some of you.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and people.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Would be like, oh, but come on, you work together.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It's like you get along with all your fucking co workers.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Like what do you mean we work together? So what
- 6:45Speaker 1: like people like it doesn't like.
- 6:47Speaker 2: That's some sacred, unbreakable bonds.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, like we we host the podcast together. We didn't
- 6:52Speaker 1: fuck it together.
- 6:53Speaker 3: We didn't fucking a coffin at Yale Okay on an
- 6:57Speaker 3: island with a mode around it. Like that's not This
- 6:59Speaker 3: isn't some kind of a crazy deep bond like that.
- 7:01Speaker 3: We're not blood brothers. Yes, not yet, not yet that is.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I forget what Patreon goal that is, but I know
- 7:06Speaker 2: it's one. I know one of them is coming the
- 7:08Speaker 2: Skull and Bones experience where I think I have to
- 7:12Speaker 2: like drink out of a skull with Travis Clark or
- 7:14Speaker 2: something like that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Looking forward to it.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That'll be tight. But yeah, no, we're just uh, you know,
- 7:19Speaker 3: we're both living life. I'm frankly stoked to be back
- 7:22Speaker 3: in the trap, you know, doing a doing a little
- 7:24Speaker 3: bit of a wrap up you show.
- 7:26Speaker 1: We're doing every other show publisher outlet is doing lists
- 7:32Speaker 1: like this, so I figured, why should we be left
- 7:35Speaker 1: out of the fun. We're doing a list of the
- 7:38Speaker 1: twenty biggest conspiracy theories of the twenty tens.
- 7:42Speaker 3: It's interesting, it's I guess it's this is weird for
- 7:45Speaker 3: me as I don't know, I guess a young like
- 7:47Speaker 3: this is.
- 7:47Speaker 2: The first full decade I've really like been online for.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Oh wow, you know what I mean, Like I was
- 7:52Speaker 2: sixteen and twenty ten, I guess, or seventeen maybe, and
- 7:55Speaker 2: now I'm twenty six and it's like, Okay, I fucking
- 7:58Speaker 2: I remember the whole decade, the twenty tens. If anything,
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'm kind of a twenty tense guy, you know, I'm
- 8:04Speaker 2: we're firmly in your wheelhouse today.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, so this is this is nice, This is
- 8:09Speaker 3: this is making me feel a little old, and I'm
- 8:11Speaker 3: like excited to really see you know.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And this is just remind her twenty tens only
- 8:16Speaker 1: so you can take your fucking nine to eleven was
- 8:19Speaker 1: an inside job and you can shove it up your
- 8:21Speaker 1: fucking ass does not apply to this list today.
- 8:24Speaker 2: First of all, you're a hack, that's right.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Number one, absolutely, yeah, Okay, see Arnold Schwartzenegger impression of
- 8:30Speaker 1: conspiracy theory.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's the wonder Wall of conspiracy. Did you know? I
- 8:33Speaker 2: didn't order Sports and Agger Impression one.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I saw the video. It was really good, dude.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I told him twenty times I couldn't do Arnold, but
- 8:39Speaker 2: they couldn't get anyone else to do it.
- 8:41Speaker 3: They're like, oh, you just do it. I'm like, fuck, dude,
- 8:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna be I warned you.
- 8:45Speaker 1: It was great. So yeah, we're we're And obviously, since
- 8:49Speaker 1: we're going through twenty we're not gonna hit on each
- 8:52Speaker 1: one for long.
- 8:53Speaker 2: No, but I've been a weird inner. That's about the time.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Look twenty tens about the time I started becoming a
- 8:57Speaker 3: weird internet guy. So I feel like I probably had
- 8:59Speaker 3: a front row seat to a lot of these I
- 9:00Speaker 3: guys around the time the fourteen Days started up, you know, as.
- 9:04Speaker 1: An ignorant liberal. Two thousand and eight is around the
- 9:08Speaker 1: time I checked out a politics. Yeah, because I was
- 9:11Speaker 1: young and dumb enough to think, oh, well, we elected Obama,
- 9:13Speaker 1: so everything's fine. I can just coast yeah, yeah, and
- 9:16Speaker 1: the country is right on course. So I missed a
- 9:19Speaker 1: lot of the really big conspiracy theories of the twenty tens.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It wasn't until Trump started running for office again that
- 9:26Speaker 1: I was like, oh, yeah, this has been bad a
- 9:28Speaker 1: long time.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I started, well, I was hanging out with like the
- 9:31Speaker 3: krusty punk hippie Vegan you know, chicks and dudes out
- 9:36Speaker 3: in Chino, and they all kind of got me into.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Like, oh, the drone bombings, and I was.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Reading like Adbusters and shit like that, and sort of like,
- 9:43Speaker 3: you know, I was interested in countercultural shit, sort of
- 9:46Speaker 3: going to NOW meetings or GSA meetings or whatever and
- 9:49Speaker 3: kind of like getting the book or an article a
- 9:52Speaker 3: website and just trying to find some of this shit.
- 9:54Speaker 3: But yeah, no, I think around whenever the first time
- 9:57Speaker 3: I got to vote, I voted for Gary Johnson. I
- 10:00Speaker 3: was like I had been like black pilled enough by
- 10:03Speaker 3: like you know whatever, the drone bombings and shit that
- 10:06Speaker 3: I was like, I can't fucking vote for this guy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah. And even one of the conspiracies on this list,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I think it's it's one of the lesser known ones,
- 10:13Speaker 1: but it ties into Obama pretty pretty deeply. Yeah, but
- 10:19Speaker 1: first before that one, like.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Eric Williams this one. When I first saw it, I
- 10:23Speaker 2: was like, who the fuck is this guy? Yeah?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Is this the guy from the dollup?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Is this Sherwin Son?
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Gareth Williams. I feel like I remember this vaguely
- 10:33Speaker 1: from back when it happened, but I had mostly forgotten
- 10:37Speaker 1: about it. The death of Gareth Williams. He was a
- 10:40Speaker 1: mathematician who worked for not only British intelligence but also
- 10:46Speaker 1: US intelligence.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Okay, and not that weird, Yeah.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Not like I I bring up the five eyes all
- 10:54Speaker 1: the time, which is this shared intelligence.
- 10:58Speaker 3: The butthole, the penis, the two eyes, and the fish
- 11:00Speaker 3: and the white nipple, which is where the hard chakra is.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Right. Well, it's actually all the like mostly white nations.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I know, you're very just all sorts of
- 11:11Speaker 2: blue eyes of the New World Order or whatever, five
- 11:15Speaker 2: blue eyed devils.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they just all kind of share information.
- 11:20Speaker 2: So it makes sense that yeah, yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 1: They share intelligence operatives in the.
- 11:24Speaker 2: US UK the special relationship, right, yeah, you call it.
- 11:27Speaker 1: In this Gareth Williams. He was found dead in his bathroom. Yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: inside a north Face bag. Yeah, like a sleeping bag,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I think, right, that was padlocked shut from the outside.
- 11:42Speaker 3: And the worst part about that north Face makes a
- 11:45Speaker 3: quality textile product. I mean they've been kind of the
- 11:48Speaker 3: industry leader in cold weather gear for a long time.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I don't know how you can claw out of that.
- 11:52Speaker 3: That would like you think about that, you go, oh,
- 11:54Speaker 3: so you're just kind of sort of like be a
- 11:56Speaker 3: big stupid caterpillar that sweats to death.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I heard this, and we're like, all right, yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 1: of course you didn't get out of it.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 2: We made it, honestly a pretty good north Face commercial,
- 12:06Speaker 2: like when they had those shoes that ran on water
- 12:08Speaker 2: and they kind of tricked everybody, but it was just
- 12:10Speaker 2: a commercial for the shoes.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like that kind of thing where it's like
- 12:13Speaker 2: north Face, Like.
- 12:15Speaker 1: North Face, he'd kill your intelligence operatives.
- 12:18Speaker 2: So they found him three weeks later. He still wasn't cold,
- 12:21Speaker 2: you know.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And the thing is his death initially was ruled in
- 12:27Speaker 1: an accident, even though there was no DNA, you know, accident.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You're playing around with the padlock in the bath.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Room, fucking around looking on some Houdini fan sites.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Yeah, man, letting people punch you in the stomach, you know,
- 12:40Speaker 3: drowning yourself and probably fucking fourteen year olds and apartments
- 12:44Speaker 3: you had built for them.
- 12:46Speaker 2: That was going on back then.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Sure was. And the thing is there was no DNA
- 12:52Speaker 1: or fingerprints found on the padlock or anywhere in the bathroom.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He was found as if it was completely wiped clean.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 3: And at first they ruled, well, well, you know a
- 13:05Speaker 3: lot of people with OCD like killing themselves by pad
- 13:08Speaker 3: locking themselves into sleeping.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And then you're gonna want to wipe it down, so
- 13:10Speaker 1: no one knows how he got in there exactly.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's he's a great magician, just like he
- 13:15Speaker 3: never reveals his secrets Adam.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And the suspicion for a long time was that the
- 13:21Speaker 1: death was just an accident because they found all these
- 13:24Speaker 1: like bondage websites on his browser history. So they were like, oh, well,
- 13:30Speaker 1: he must have been just fucking around and accidentally killed himself.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But then this Russian defector at one point came out
- 13:37Speaker 1: and was like, no, Russia killed him. He was like,
- 13:40Speaker 1: what happened is we tried to blackmail him into becoming
- 13:42Speaker 1: a double agent. He refused, and in the process of
- 13:46Speaker 1: blackmailing him, we kind of revealed that we already have
- 13:49Speaker 1: a double agent in British intelligence.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh so he had to go.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So he had to die and the guy said they
- 13:56Speaker 1: killed him with a poison that was administered through his
- 14:00Speaker 1: ear that is undetected.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Like Rata Khan. Yeah, you know, like uh well all
- 14:06Speaker 2: those all those like uh it's funny like when they uh,
- 14:08Speaker 2: when they killed that guy in uh that North Korean
- 14:12Speaker 2: guy you remember with that weird Yeah, that was like
- 14:14Speaker 2: they used a specific really weird poison to sort of
- 14:17Speaker 2: like let them know like subtly that it was North
- 14:20Speaker 2: Korea that they or whoever that China hit it or
- 14:22Speaker 2: something like that. But yeah, the weird little ship like
- 14:24Speaker 2: that where they had just have like oh, yeah it goes.
- 14:26Speaker 3: If you get some under your fingernail, you you turn
- 14:29Speaker 3: gay and explode in four hours.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And they yeah, when they did that, they did it
- 14:33Speaker 1: under the guise of filming a reality TV prank show.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah yeah, the whe shirt over your head
- 14:39Speaker 2: or something.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah. The woman, the woman who ended up killing that
- 14:42Speaker 1: guy was just like an innocent.
- 14:45Speaker 2: She thought she was doing a prank. So she's just
- 14:47Speaker 2: like for the rest of her life like wakes up.
- 14:49Speaker 3: And is sweating because somebody thought she was gonna be
- 14:52Speaker 3: on you know, uh, tricky, tricky, fun fun airport Hour.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Oh that poor lady I hosted.
- 14:59Speaker 3: By like a watermelon cat that's like five five stories tall,
- 15:03Speaker 3: or you know the big foam suit number nineteen.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Speaking of Obama, this is who I was talking about
- 15:10Speaker 1: the death of Michael Hastings.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Shank's Obama. You remember this guy.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He died in la in like twenty eleven, twenty twelve.
- 15:24Speaker 1: But he was a.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Writer and he had the journalist kind of right.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he was like a freelance journalist. He wrote a
- 15:31Speaker 1: bunch of really crazy articles for Rolling Stone, and not
- 15:38Speaker 1: crazy as in how could someone believe any of this
- 15:41Speaker 1: shit is happening? They were like things that actually happened
- 15:44Speaker 1: that he just happened to be the one.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You go on good scoops.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And one of the most famous ones was this profile
- 15:52Speaker 1: of this military official name William McCrystal. And William McCrystal.
- 15:59Speaker 1: As a result of this article that Michael Hastings wrote,
- 16:03Speaker 1: basically lost his job. He had to resign. Oh wow, yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: and his career was over. Michael Hastings wrote a bunch
- 16:11Speaker 1: of stuff about the Obama administration and especially surveillance and
- 16:18Speaker 1: spying under Obama. Yeah, uh, he has. You can still
- 16:22Speaker 1: go find most of his articles on Rolling Stone. He's
- 16:25Speaker 1: got a really interesting one about how this army psyops
- 16:30Speaker 1: team was instructed to work their like mental magic on
- 16:36Speaker 1: visiting senators in Congress people.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Dude, It's like, I can't. It's so funny now that
- 16:40Speaker 3: I know about this shit. It's like I got just
- 16:42Speaker 3: enough going on in my life through that. When I
- 16:44Speaker 3: meet a cool girl with purple hair and a misfit shirt.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I'm like, are you are you gonna Corney love me?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Man?
- 16:50Speaker 2: Are you gonna fucking Corney love me? Dude? And try
- 16:52Speaker 2: to influence my podcasting from evil exactly? I get a
- 16:56Speaker 2: little bit, a little bit of your unfounded paranoise off
- 17:00Speaker 2: on me. Finally, because now I'm starting to go, well, well,
- 17:02Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you're right for a TV show,
- 17:04Speaker 2: it's a little some level of like, you know, maybe
- 17:07Speaker 2: you know a couple of years, someone might try to
- 17:09Speaker 2: brain while you're get in your house and you know,
- 17:11Speaker 2: give you some sort of crazy shot. I write a
- 17:13Speaker 2: thing the other day.
- 17:13Speaker 1: The CIA's annual budget is twelve billion dollars.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Oh god, money kind of shit to people like me
- 17:21Speaker 2: with did I tell you? I?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Like a couple of weeks ago, we did an episode
- 17:24Speaker 1: about this really obscure CIA scandal from the eighties. Yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 1: involving this group called the Finders.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, oh the fine and then all that power in
- 17:32Speaker 3: the house went out or whatever.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Uh No, the next day as soon as I got
- 17:37Speaker 1: to the studio, the day after we recorded that, the
- 17:39Speaker 1: second I get to the studio, someone showed up and
- 17:42Speaker 1: started rifling through my garbage. Oh my god, and he
- 17:45Speaker 1: like looked homeless. But they're not going to send a
- 17:46Speaker 1: dude in a suit.
- 17:47Speaker 3: No, they know how to make him fucking They're like,
- 17:49Speaker 3: all right, let's go down to make up and let's
- 17:51Speaker 3: get you ready to root through the trash outside of
- 17:53Speaker 3: Adam's place.
- 17:54Speaker 1: And people are like, did you go outside and confront
- 17:56Speaker 1: the guy? Because that's the fucking phone video I'm trying
- 17:58Speaker 1: to star in. In two thousand nineteen, comedian confronts homeless
- 18:02Speaker 1: guy for stealing cans.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Paranoid fat guy thinks guy trying to buy sandwich is
- 18:08Speaker 3: in cult exactly racist exposed.
- 18:13Speaker 1: But Michael Hastings, he wrote this article about William Crystal.
- 18:17Speaker 1: He had written all these things about Obama, and he
- 18:21Speaker 1: at his death, according to his then girlfriend, was working
- 18:26Speaker 1: on a profile of CIA director John O.
- 18:31Speaker 2: B Oh that motherfucker.
- 18:32Speaker 1: And while working on that, he dies in this car
- 18:36Speaker 1: accident and there are if you look into it.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Oh we did want about this in that car was so.
- 18:43Speaker 1: All these people who are like his car was the
- 18:46Speaker 1: kind that a person with enough knowledge could hack into
- 18:50Speaker 1: basically force it to crash.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yeah, auto break it or whatever. Yeah, you know, remotely.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And that was one of the theories around his death.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Well, he used to work at a driver's and driving
- 19:03Speaker 3: lessons he used to give him, so he had the
- 19:04Speaker 3: brake pedals on the out side on both sides. I
- 19:06Speaker 3: kind of fucked him over. Yeah, because he picked up
- 19:08Speaker 3: this this barefoot girl with some marbred hair, wanted to
- 19:11Speaker 3: take him back to spawn ranch and then uh.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Stopped at Chili John's plowed into the building.
- 19:18Speaker 2: That was the last stuff you ever made.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Shout out to Chili Johns. That place is great.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Number eighteen the Flate Gate, Remember the Flate gate? Got Yeah, man,
- 19:30Speaker 1: gotta get some fucking sports on here. I couldn't think
- 19:33Speaker 1: of any other good sports conspiracies in the two thousands.
- 19:36Speaker 2: The one.
- 19:37Speaker 3: It's like, I feel like with every every kind of
- 19:39Speaker 3: Tom Brady thing, I don't know a lot about football,
- 19:41Speaker 3: so forgive my ignorance, but it seems to just sort
- 19:44Speaker 3: of boil down to people.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But hurt that he's the best is kind of what
- 19:47Speaker 2: it has to me.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because I feel like people cheat a lot in
- 19:53Speaker 1: the NFL.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Sure, I think Ben the rules you do, you do.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Everybody does what they can get away with.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, And the argument here was that he was deflating
- 20:01Speaker 1: footballs or having footballs deflated less than normal because it
- 20:07Speaker 1: was raining and that would allow him to get a
- 20:10Speaker 1: better grip on the ball when throwing it. And this
- 20:14Speaker 1: was the twenty fourteen AFC Championship game. It was really
- 20:18Speaker 1: rainy and wet and gross, And.
- 20:21Speaker 3: To be honest with you, that sounds like one of
- 20:22Speaker 3: those things where you sort of like you go like,
- 20:24Speaker 3: I didn't really think that much about it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I guess I probably should have checked.
- 20:27Speaker 3: I didn't really know it was against THEE That's sort
- 20:30Speaker 3: of where it would land for me.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Now. I know everyone in the NFL probably thinks about.
- 20:34Speaker 3: This shit a lot more, but it just doesn't seem
- 20:36Speaker 3: like that dramatic a thing to me.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not a thing you would think would matter
- 20:41Speaker 1: that much.
- 20:41Speaker 3: But like, I feel like, if you got really upset
- 20:44Speaker 3: and if this is you think this is the whole
- 20:46Speaker 3: reason or whatever, like he won or whatever happened.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It's kind of like, really, there's that was that was.
- 20:52Speaker 2: It was all because of that. Everybody, anyone could do
- 20:54Speaker 2: it if you just had a squishy, shitty football.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah, And if you look into the theory, the argument
- 20:59Speaker 1: is that the balls were deflated in the first half
- 21:02Speaker 1: and that the refs then fixed them for the second half.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But the second half of the game is when the
- 21:07Speaker 1: Patriots scored the majority of their points.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Oh interesting, So it wouldn't.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Like even if he did it, it would almost seem
- 21:14Speaker 1: like he did it to their detriment without realizing it
- 21:17Speaker 1: was not gonna help.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so who knows it was. It was even better
- 21:22Speaker 3: after they like he stopped doing it. Yeah yeah, who, like,
- 21:27Speaker 3: just shut up.
- 21:29Speaker 1: They had that other scandal called Spygate, but that was
- 21:32Speaker 1: the guy.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Who called oh yeah, yeah, yeah, with the pictures or
- 21:37Speaker 2: whatever filmed the opposing teams walk through during practice, Oh gotcha,
- 21:42Speaker 2: which is apparently illegal.
- 21:44Speaker 1: But yeah yeah, also something you think you'd try and
- 21:46Speaker 1: get away with.
- 21:47Speaker 3: It, dude, Well, I'd get like a cute little girl
- 21:50Speaker 3: and put a camera on an ice cream cone and
- 21:52Speaker 3: all that shit, you know, like why not?
- 21:53Speaker 2: It's the fucking super.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Bowl cheat number seventeen. Planet X.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Oh man, this was a big for the like pop up.
- 22:01Speaker 2: This was like a pop up ad conspiracy theory, Yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 2: where they sort of went pop up ad viral for
- 22:06Speaker 2: like three months and then it went away.
- 22:08Speaker 1: And it's one where if it's true, I don't want
- 22:11Speaker 1: to know. Yeah, I think this is one where the
- 22:13Speaker 1: government would be right to tell us it's not.
- 22:16Speaker 2: If it be true, though, we could blow up. I
- 22:18Speaker 2: feel like we could blow up a planet, could we?
- 22:20Speaker 1: I think so? Because the theory is that there is
- 22:23Speaker 1: this secret planet out there called planet X or Nabiru,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and it's.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Way beyond like Pluto, right right, and it's got this big,
- 22:32Speaker 3: like a bit elliptical orbit and it's gonna come back
- 22:36Speaker 3: around and the fucking tidal wave of gravity is gonna
- 22:40Speaker 3: butt fuck the rest of our Solar system and just
- 22:42Speaker 3: to make a chaos, it's.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Either gonna hit us or come close enough to hitting
- 22:45Speaker 1: us that it will just, yeah, send the Earth into
- 22:48Speaker 1: a tail spin. And if that's the case, if we
- 22:52Speaker 1: can blow it up, I want to know after we
- 22:54Speaker 1: blow it up.
- 22:55Speaker 2: You'd like it to just be like good morning, we
- 22:58Speaker 2: blow up a planet. Uh o.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Then there's an asteroid belt between us and Mars. Now
- 23:03Speaker 3: it's even bigger. Everyone go back to work. Yeah, that's
- 23:05Speaker 3: what you're looking for.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Could have been a huge problem, but it wasn't. And
- 23:08Speaker 1: you're fine.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yep, And uh look, we realized maybe we should have
- 23:11Speaker 2: said something we didn't really want everyone out there. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 2: doing a whole purge thing in cases didn't work, So
- 23:17Speaker 2: either matter.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I want to wake up to stephen A. Smith on
- 23:19Speaker 1: first take going oh no, no, no.
- 23:24Speaker 2: That would turn into them arguing about like, okay, I
- 23:26Speaker 2: fucking twenty nineteen Golden State Warriors team. Who do you
- 23:29Speaker 2: want to take that? Shut there you go, And then
- 23:31Speaker 2: he says Andre Guidala, it's stephen A and he goes,
- 23:34Speaker 2: you stupid. Next Keller Man, I should get paid extra
- 23:36Speaker 2: to talk basketball with you. That's my favorite. Steven A.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Smith Burne is I should get paid extra to talk
- 23:41Speaker 2: basketball with you?
- 23:42Speaker 1: All right? Number sixteen Manufactured Natural Disasters. This is still
- 23:47Speaker 1: one of my favorite episodes of this podcast about harp.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Is it weird shit? I still think Harp is harp
- 23:54Speaker 2: and Elvis really surprised me.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yeah, Elvis was surprising and harp I came out of that,
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah we're up to something.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like that's not real least trying to do
- 24:03Speaker 2: something like this, you know, like.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Just the fact that if you if you go back
- 24:08Speaker 1: and listen to the episode, the craziest detail to me
- 24:11Speaker 1: was how when they first put up their website they
- 24:14Speaker 1: said harp was also for National Defense, and then they
- 24:18Speaker 1: eventually took that part out. Yeah, oh, never mind, because
- 24:21Speaker 1: it was just worry about it.
- 24:23Speaker 2: It was some guy just making a website, you know.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And it's like I always think about like every.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Once in a while, like some sort of just like
- 24:28Speaker 3: civil servant that actually doesn't really like actually just doesn't
- 24:32Speaker 3: not not insidious, but just sort of like a cog
- 24:34Speaker 3: and this all this shit.
- 24:35Speaker 2: We'll sort of fuck up and go like, well, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 2: we just need to say broadly and you know, truthfully
- 24:39Speaker 2: what we use the program for. And he's like, well,
- 24:41Speaker 2: like US National Defense, you know, I'm keeping it vague
- 24:43Speaker 2: and weather you're survey and then uh, you know, people
- 24:45Speaker 2: start digging around. It's like, god damn it, Gary Well,
- 24:47Speaker 2: I was just trying to let the people know in
- 24:50Speaker 2: the information section, like we use it to.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Fire up the iron hon a sphere and then that
- 24:53Speaker 1: causes earthquake exactly.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I don't like like the uh when they found out
- 24:57Speaker 3: about mk ulture just because that ladies like you put
- 25:00Speaker 3: your files about your you know how you've been like uh,
- 25:03Speaker 3: having like prostitutes, seduce like you know, people that work
- 25:06Speaker 3: within the government and then drugging them and seeing how
- 25:08Speaker 3: they ran.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Well, uh yeah, all the you accidentally put those ears,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I'm just gonna get those tqu And it's like just
- 25:14Speaker 2: because of that lady, we know about that shit, you know.
- 25:17Speaker 2: So it's just funny when yeah, stuff like that slips through. Yeah,
- 25:20Speaker 2: and with horror one, actually I kind of does their
- 25:23Speaker 2: job and then they go, fuck, dude, don't you're not
- 25:25Speaker 2: supposed to do that.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, HARP is it's a weird one. We're never
- 25:30Speaker 1: going to find out anything definitive about.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Heart Well because it's in like Alaska too, right, It's
- 25:35Speaker 2: in Alaska, a tough place for like them I being
- 25:37Speaker 2: detained guys to get out to and go do some
- 25:39Speaker 2: like reyes.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And the Air Force has since shifted ownership of HARP
- 25:45Speaker 1: away from the military.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so now it seems like there's nothing weird about it.
- 25:51Speaker 1: But I don't know. I feel like the internet's making
- 25:54Speaker 1: it easier for the government to lie to us.
- 25:56Speaker 3: No, it really is, because it's like, well, I mean,
- 25:59Speaker 3: a distract to palooza. Nobody gives a fuck, like I mean,
- 26:02Speaker 3: every like it's just sort of it's all it's all
- 26:05Speaker 3: lost in the shuffle.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I mean, there's probably there's probably been.
- 26:08Speaker 3: There's probably twelve Iran contras we don't even know about,
- 26:11Speaker 3: oh for sure, you know, just because like I was,
- 26:14Speaker 3: I was still on Epstein.
- 26:15Speaker 2: You know, by the way, now.
- 26:17Speaker 3: That that we're like going through this list, I'm starting
- 26:19Speaker 3: to think, like you know, when you read the twenty
- 26:20Speaker 3: best rap Albums of the nineteen nineties and you go.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Oh, they bit they got if they got a mom
- 26:24Speaker 2: deep too low, I'm gonna be pissed. I'm now going
- 26:27Speaker 2: if Epstein is below two or three, I'm like, if
- 26:31Speaker 2: he's not a podium finisher, I'm gonna have some words
- 26:34Speaker 2: for Adam.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I did struggle putting this list together for that very reason,
- 26:37Speaker 1: you know, figuring out because I do mean this as
- 26:41Speaker 1: the biggest, yeah, the most important.
- 26:43Speaker 3: But I do s yeah, harp in the fucking uh
- 26:45Speaker 3: you almost even bring in like some of the Katrina
- 26:49Speaker 3: shit with the levies.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But yeah, any of those, like especially natural disasters like
- 26:54Speaker 1: all the earthquakes and tsunamis that happened in the twenty tens.
- 26:59Speaker 1: If you look into that, there is somewhere a conspiracy
- 27:01Speaker 1: that claims the United States government made that happen with
- 27:05Speaker 1: harp and if we did, if.
- 27:07Speaker 2: We did, you know, kind of cool.
- 27:09Speaker 3: It is kind of the most baller. One would definitely
- 27:11Speaker 3: be Fukushima. Yeah, you know, I me to break open
- 27:13Speaker 3: a nuclear reactor, Like if you could do that with
- 27:16Speaker 3: a satellite and no one could really figure it out,
- 27:18Speaker 3: that's some like that's some pimp shit.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'd be all right with us having that technology.
- 27:23Speaker 3: That is also the kind of thing that we might do,
- 27:26Speaker 3: because that would make that first of all, makes nuclear
- 27:28Speaker 3: power look bad, right, it makes everyone want to keep
- 27:30Speaker 3: buying oil exactly.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Even though nuclear power like.
- 27:36Speaker 3: One of the few things we could really do to
- 27:38Speaker 3: make everything, you know, Yeah, that's what France did, Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 3: a little better.
- 27:42Speaker 1: All our talk about needing to be more like France and.
- 27:46Speaker 3: We need to be more like France, and that we
- 27:47Speaker 3: need to put on some yellow vess and fucking start
- 27:49Speaker 3: riding in the streets yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Problem is France is the size of like Iowa, yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 1: wear the size of US.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I know it's too big, it's too spread out. Life
- 28:00Speaker 2: is too good. Yeah, life's always relatively too good. And
- 28:04Speaker 2: you just go, ah, you know, maybe tomorrow. You know,
- 28:07Speaker 2: they keep it.
- 28:08Speaker 3: They know the sweet spot, you know what I mean,
- 28:11Speaker 3: like the fucking the surf lords or the fucking whip crackers,
- 28:14Speaker 3: whatever you want to call them, Like, they know how
- 28:17Speaker 3: to keep it till it's like, oh, but fucking Jack
- 28:19Speaker 3: Ryan's on Hulu and Amazon Alexa only fifty bucks fuck
- 28:25Speaker 3: just in time for Christmas AirPod pros and oh oh yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 3: and fucking get this, there's a new monster that's green.
- 28:32Speaker 3: It's fucking delicious, you know, and they just and you know,
- 28:35Speaker 3: you got I don't know.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Cast next week exactly.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Uh number fifteen, the Las Vegas shooting. This one is
- 28:43Speaker 1: still so weird to me.
- 28:45Speaker 3: It's one of these ones where it's like, I don't
- 28:46Speaker 3: even it's I almost am afraid to learn about it. Yep,
- 28:49Speaker 3: because I'm like this, I have a feeling I'm gonna
- 28:52Speaker 3: have to have some kind of opinion that's gonna be
- 28:55Speaker 3: a pain in the ass to explain.
- 28:57Speaker 1: You know, yeah, and I remember when it happened, people
- 29:00Speaker 1: are like, oh, this is a guy. Uh, he's shooting
- 29:03Speaker 1: up a country music festival because he's on the left
- 29:06Speaker 1: and he wants it to make it. And I was like, eh,
- 29:09Speaker 1: maybe Jesus, what's happening. Yeah, but now we have no
- 29:12Speaker 1: idea similar to.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Like reparations or like like the Andrew Yang shit, where
- 29:17Speaker 3: it's like, well, I mean that's just sort of like
- 29:18Speaker 3: an empty, hollow gesture that the neoliberal superstate could make
- 29:23Speaker 3: rather than actually equitably redistributing all this massive amount of wealth.
- 29:27Speaker 2: So I mean, I think it's sort of like an
- 29:28Speaker 2: imperfect solution. But it's like it's a bitch to go
- 29:30Speaker 2: talk about that. But then you'd be like, you see,
- 29:32Speaker 2: his brother was fucking kid, like you know, this guy,
- 29:34Speaker 2: Like there's so many weird Like I sit next to
- 29:37Speaker 2: a Vegas shooting truther at my job.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Oh really, it's very interesting.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and he keeps bringing stuff up and it's always
- 29:43Speaker 2: fucking odd, always odd.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just weird to me that we still have
- 29:49Speaker 1: so little idea of what.
- 29:51Speaker 2: His His theory is that it was a gun deal
- 29:54Speaker 2: gone wrong. I think, oh, really, you know, like he
- 29:57Speaker 2: had all these guns out for uh, for some I
- 30:00Speaker 2: think it was. Yeah, and there's like Saudi's in that hotel,
- 30:03Speaker 2: you know, there's like some some pretty high level Saudis
- 30:06Speaker 2: or something like that, and he thinks that they killed
- 30:08Speaker 2: him and then just sort of like covered it up
- 30:11Speaker 2: and weird something. I don't know. Pretty crazy.
- 30:14Speaker 1: That is crazy. Yeah, number fourteen. This I I'm just
- 30:18Speaker 1: looking at it now, feel like it could have been
- 30:20Speaker 1: higher on the list. Tom Delong's UFO videos.
- 30:24Speaker 3: If you had gone, if you'd gone to like UFO
- 30:28Speaker 3: shit two thousand to twenty ten, when Blink one two
- 30:32Speaker 3: had a little bit more cultural relevance, Oh yeah, then
- 30:35Speaker 3: that would get him in the top five.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I think, oh for sure.
- 30:38Speaker 2: You know, he let fall Out Boy and Mike Cam
- 30:40Speaker 2: come along and take his whole shit.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah. The government just cannot stop confirming that UFOs are real.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Weird little shit keeps coming out. They keep dropping little
- 30:50Speaker 2: breadcrumbs and little videos and they going, oh, yeah, we
- 30:53Speaker 2: don't know.
- 30:54Speaker 1: There was There was a New York Times article in
- 30:57Speaker 1: October twenty seventeen, I believe. Then there was another one
- 31:01Speaker 1: in like May twenty nineteen.
- 31:04Speaker 3: This was one of my favorite Hillary like platform The
- 31:08Speaker 3: planks of her campaign, which she was like, I'll tell everybody, like,
- 31:11Speaker 3: you know what's going on with aliens if I get elected,
- 31:13Speaker 3: you know, if there's anything out there, I want everybody
- 31:15Speaker 3: to know. And uh fucking uh what was I gonna say?
- 31:19Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, it was like, Okay, are you trying to
- 31:21Speaker 2: just get the community college vote away from Bernie without
- 31:25Speaker 2: like fucking doing anything substantive to help anyone.
- 31:28Speaker 1: You know.
- 31:28Speaker 3: It was just a weird thing to throw out there,
- 31:30Speaker 3: like people keep dropping hints. It's like coming around everywhere.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think the fact that people keep dropping
- 31:35Speaker 1: hints and no one cares is proof that that wasn't
- 31:40Speaker 1: the time for Hillary to make that her platform. Yeah, cause,
- 31:44Speaker 1: like right, like the world's on fire man, unless these
- 31:47Speaker 1: aliens about yours. Yeah, unless these aliens are gonna impeach Trump.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no one fucking cares unless they're going to Uh.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I don't know to teach us, how to teach us
- 31:57Speaker 3: a little bit about salt water desalination.
- 31:59Speaker 2: I don't know that we really need to keep up
- 32:02Speaker 2: with them.
- 32:02Speaker 3: That snowed in the interview on Joe Ruggan was interesting
- 32:04Speaker 3: because I remember one thing he said that I found
- 32:06Speaker 3: I found out he was like, I had like one
- 32:08Speaker 3: of the highest fucking clearances, right, I could read a
- 32:10Speaker 3: lot of shit. And he's like, I saw nothing about aliens. Yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 3: He's like, I didn't see anything about him. You know,
- 32:16Speaker 3: it's a little weird.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that is interesting.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Well, but I honestly I can kind of, like ten
- 32:22Speaker 3: percent believe some of that Alex Jones shit about we're
- 32:25Speaker 3: doing DMT talking to them through the fifth dimension and
- 32:28Speaker 3: they're giving us technolog Like every once in a while,
- 32:31Speaker 3: I start like, you know, I'll just start reading about
- 32:33Speaker 3: some of those and.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I'll go I kind of I could see it. I
- 32:36Speaker 2: could kind of see it.
- 32:37Speaker 1: The theory that I always like if UFOs aren't real,
- 32:42Speaker 1: the theory I always lean to is the US government
- 32:46Speaker 1: probably puts out the idea of UFO's being real so
- 32:50Speaker 1: they can test weird shit in the skies. They well
- 32:53Speaker 1: they without having to explain it.
- 32:54Speaker 2: They can test aircraft.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I mean, the SR seventy one Blackbird was like indistinguishable
- 32:58Speaker 3: from magic when it was created in the nineteen fifties.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I mean, I don't think it was decommissioned until like
- 33:03Speaker 3: the nineties or two thousands. It was a very long running,
- 33:07Speaker 3: like successful piece of technology. So it's like they definitely
- 33:10Speaker 3: have insane shit like that. And I also think the
- 33:12Speaker 3: idea that there is something like that gives them the
- 33:14Speaker 3: opportunity to stage some kind of alien based false flag.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Like there's that one guy we did a show about
- 33:20Speaker 3: a long time ago who's like, well, yeah, first we're
- 33:22Speaker 3: gonna do it with like communism, right, We're gonna villify that,
- 33:25Speaker 3: and then as that kind of like runs out of gas,
- 33:28Speaker 3: we're gonna change it to terrorism. That's gonna be the
- 33:30Speaker 3: next great sort of like you know, excuse to keep
- 33:34Speaker 3: fighting and fucking with shit and tinkering with different governments
- 33:38Speaker 3: and economies, and then it's gonna be Aliens is the
- 33:40Speaker 3: big one.
- 33:40Speaker 2: That's gonna be the one where we sort of shift
- 33:43Speaker 2: to like a sort of like neo fascist super state,
- 33:47Speaker 2: you know, and we all become matrix batteries. So I'm
- 33:49Speaker 2: waiting for that one, and I could be part of it.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I got a tweet about that actually, but I think
- 33:53Speaker 2: it could be part of it.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Yeah. That's We've been doing a lot of episodes about
- 33:58Speaker 1: the New World Order, and one of the like the
- 34:02Speaker 1: culmination of the New World Order conspiracy theory is that
- 34:06Speaker 1: at some point, the US government is going to orchestrate
- 34:09Speaker 1: this like global event where they're able to broadcast a
- 34:14Speaker 1: message into the sky that you can see from everywhere
- 34:18Speaker 1: all at the same time. Yea, And that the the
- 34:22Speaker 1: figure in that message is going to present his or
- 34:26Speaker 1: herself his probably.
- 34:29Speaker 2: As I was about to say, as like the actual
- 34:34Speaker 2: self that's going to fly over the you know, Ukraine.
- 34:37Speaker 2: They're going to be like, we should hear her out.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Let us listen to what sky bitch has to say
- 34:42Speaker 2: about morality and the nature of freedom and peace and that.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and that that like voice in the sky is
- 34:50Speaker 1: going to tell people that all of their religions were
- 34:53Speaker 1: a lie and here how everything is, and you should
- 34:58Speaker 1: follow me. And if I was alw would you be
- 35:00Speaker 1: able to see me in the sky right now?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yeah? Hey, it's not a it's not the dumbest plan.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, at least it's our country doing it.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I'm it's like, you know, what's the United States? No?
- 35:13Speaker 3: I like, you really do start to take like money
- 35:16Speaker 3: really does kind of make you a piece of shit.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Like I'm doing a lot, you know better in my life.
- 35:19Speaker 3: I got a little job and everything it's going good.
- 35:21Speaker 3: But it's like you do start hearing stuff like that
- 35:24Speaker 3: and go like, well, at least I'm winning, and I
- 35:28Speaker 3: seem to be winning on the team that's doing pretty good,
- 35:31Speaker 3: so I think it'll shake out probably fine. I mean,
- 35:35Speaker 3: I don't know some some.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Dollars about you you know, yeah, I'll be in the
- 35:41Speaker 2: taxpayer's bracket of you know, of being spared hopefully. You know.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It's just like so weird, And then I end up
- 35:48Speaker 3: thinking about all that shit. I'm like, is that my
- 35:50Speaker 3: goal now? To just be like, oh, I want to
- 35:52Speaker 3: be able to bribe the fucking uh the jack booted
- 35:55Speaker 3: thugs that come to my home to try to take
- 35:57Speaker 3: my wife and son. It's like, hey, look at me.
- 35:59Speaker 3: I was able to pay him off. I'm a good provider.
- 36:01Speaker 3: That's not any kind of future I want to be
- 36:03Speaker 3: a part of.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I thrived under the future nazis exactly. Yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I hid three fucking dissident graphic designers in my
- 36:11Speaker 2: closet for a couple months before I turned them in
- 36:13Speaker 2: for extra ration cards. Thank you very much, oh.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Number thirteen, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH three seventy. I love
- 36:21Speaker 1: this conspiracy so much, dude.
- 36:23Speaker 2: This was this one had longevity. This was like, you know,
- 36:26Speaker 2: you know how Get Lucky was on the radio for
- 36:28Speaker 2: a year. This was the Get Lucky, the conspiracies. It
- 36:30Speaker 2: was CNN all the time.
- 36:32Speaker 1: And we're we still don't really know what the fuck
- 36:35Speaker 1: happens though with this plane.
- 36:37Speaker 2: It's one of those ones where it's like who gives
- 36:39Speaker 2: the shit? Kind of it's like forty people like, no,
- 36:42Speaker 2: not to be a dick. It's awful, it's horrible for
- 36:44Speaker 2: their families, but it's like you can forget it. But
- 36:45Speaker 2: it's like a weird but every once in a while
- 36:47Speaker 2: you just go, so what we actually don't still know?
- 36:49Speaker 1: Nobody knows that really, And even when people are like, oh,
- 36:52Speaker 1: we found wreckage, I'm like, I don't give a fuck.
- 36:54Speaker 1: The terrorists could have chopped a piece of the wing
- 36:56Speaker 1: off and thrown it in the ocean.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 3: They could have landed the plane and like all right, well,
- 37:00Speaker 3: let's go through some shit in the water and make
- 37:02Speaker 3: it look like I don't know, they just got hit
- 37:03Speaker 3: by an air shark or whatever, and then finished.
- 37:06Speaker 1: It's like one of my favorite theories is that the
- 37:09Speaker 1: US basically hijacked it for whatever reason and took it
- 37:14Speaker 1: to Diego Garcia Air Force Base, which if you're familiar
- 37:18Speaker 1: with the location, there's all these people who live near
- 37:22Speaker 1: there who are like, yeah, we saw a really low
- 37:24Speaker 1: flying plane. H interesting, kind of fits that description on
- 37:28Speaker 1: that day. But like, what are you and I, as
- 37:31Speaker 1: people on a conspiracy theory podcast gonna do go to
- 37:34Speaker 1: the fucking Maldives and be like, hey, is that true?
- 37:37Speaker 1: Do you really see that plane?
- 37:38Speaker 2: I think about it, man.
- 37:39Speaker 1: And then does our plane back from the Maldives even land?
- 37:42Speaker 1: I get.
- 37:43Speaker 3: I get sort of like I always have these fantasies
- 37:46Speaker 3: about kind of like I like to like the idea
- 37:48Speaker 3: of changing careers, of going rogue, and I'm taking just
- 37:51Speaker 3: more about all this the conspiracy stuff in the Epstein
- 37:53Speaker 3: thing especially, and like I'm seeing these guys that are
- 37:55Speaker 3: actually like going out to the island and then just
- 37:57Speaker 3: videotape and stuff, and I'm.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Like, maybe I just say, gave up some cash and
- 38:01Speaker 2: go do that?
- 38:01Speaker 3: You know, I mean that I would really feel like
- 38:03Speaker 3: I was doing something good, and I would I would
- 38:05Speaker 3: have so much fun being paranoid and thinking I was
- 38:06Speaker 3: gonna be murdered all the time and having all these
- 38:08Speaker 3: like systems in place.
- 38:10Speaker 2: And you know, I would think it was exciting.
- 38:12Speaker 3: So every once in while, I'm like, yeah, maybe we
- 38:13Speaker 3: should fucking go and try to try to find Elvis's
- 38:16Speaker 3: housekeeper in Venezuela.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I mean, you think we're gonna have a bad time.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I don't know, probably have some fun. Probably good, you know,
- 38:22Speaker 2: good for a few laughs.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Uh no, Number twelve. This was one of the first
- 38:27Speaker 1: episodes we did seth Rich Dude and the Clinton body count.
- 38:32Speaker 1: The Clinton body count. That conspiracy traces back to the.
- 38:36Speaker 2: To Vince Foster probably early days. Even Yeah, well, it's
- 38:40Speaker 2: so funny.
- 38:41Speaker 3: It's like there are so many people on the goddamn
- 38:44Speaker 3: list that as you as you keep going, you go like, well,
- 38:47Speaker 3: oh wow, there, I mean at least one of these, right, probably, Yeah,
- 38:52Speaker 3: they have to have murdered some of them, right, I
- 38:54Speaker 3: don't think.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Like, I just don't think he can be the president
- 38:56Speaker 2: without murdering a few people. You know, what if he
- 38:59Speaker 2: murdered Jeffrey Epstein? Uh Bill Clinton? Yeah, what do you mean?
- 39:04Speaker 2: I don't I don't know if this is what if?
- 39:07Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know exactly where that's coming from,
- 39:09Speaker 2: but uh, yeah, it is were you looking for?
- 39:12Speaker 1: When I think when yeah, the Clinton body count. It's
- 39:17Speaker 1: one of those things where you want to be like, yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 1: come on, that's just a coincidence. Yeah, But also that's
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lot of people.
- 39:24Speaker 3: It's and it's a lot of folks that shoot themselves
- 39:26Speaker 3: twice in the head or you know, throw themselves out
- 39:29Speaker 3: of windows, tell their friends they're not suicidal, then kill themselves. Yeah,
- 39:33Speaker 3: you know, uh seth Rich. I mean that's just like that.
- 39:37Speaker 3: That that one really seemed like leave this guy's poor
- 39:40Speaker 3: fucking family alone.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Christ, you know, that one was like, oh my god.
- 39:44Speaker 2: But uh yeah, no, I'm sure they killed somebody.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's like they are rich, powerful people. Yeah,
- 39:51Speaker 1: and rich powerful people sometimes wield that wealth and power
- 39:55Speaker 1: in unsavory ways.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Well, and they've hung on to their power and relevance
- 39:59Speaker 3: for a really long time. And it's like, I don't
- 40:01Speaker 3: think that's an accident. I think I think they they're
- 40:04Speaker 3: pretty actively.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Trying to do that.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:06Speaker 2: So, I mean now they're kind of dying.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Now they've reached the sort of dying phase of their career,
- 40:11Speaker 3: you know, where they just sort of are curators of.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Their own legacy.
- 40:14Speaker 3: But I mean before that, I'm like, yeah, I'm sure
- 40:15Speaker 3: they're still trying to let's let's fucking keep the gravy
- 40:18Speaker 3: train rolling, baby, you know.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Yeah, And I wouldn't ever doubt that anyone on either
- 40:23Speaker 1: side is capable of murdering people to keep power.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Me neither man. The more you learn about these people,
- 40:30Speaker 2: you just gough.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's that's That's one of the best things about
- 40:36Speaker 1: the Trump presidency is it sort of made me go
- 40:40Speaker 1: back and look at all the other presidencies before it,
- 40:42Speaker 1: and I'm just like, oh, you were all helping us
- 40:45Speaker 1: get here.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Now, I mean, this has been the plan forever. All
- 40:50Speaker 1: a part of.
- 40:50Speaker 3: It the old corny thing of like you have to
- 40:52Speaker 3: imagine the power in the hands of someone you hate,
- 40:55Speaker 3: you know. But it's like you think about that and
- 40:57Speaker 3: you think, oh, it's two teams, and it's like, well,
- 40:59Speaker 3: you don't want to expand executive power because you got
- 41:01Speaker 3: to think about what someone that you didn't agree with
- 41:03Speaker 3: would do that, you know, And.
- 41:04Speaker 2: That's the old narrative. And now you sort of realize, oh,
- 41:08Speaker 2: they're basically on the same team, so they're both they
- 41:12Speaker 2: don't give a fuck, and now they have the ball
- 41:15Speaker 2: and they're at like the I think in terms of
- 41:17Speaker 2: like a you know, full blown nineteen eighty four. If
- 41:20Speaker 2: they really wanted to do it, I'd say they're at
- 41:21Speaker 2: least at like the sixty seventy five yard line. Oh,
- 41:25Speaker 2: like it's not that far away.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Well, and I think now we're just catching up and like, oh,
- 41:29Speaker 3: I don't know if we can really do anything about that.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Well, Like think about the thing you're seeing people make
- 41:35Speaker 1: jokes about on Twitter now way more frequently for some reason.
- 41:39Speaker 1: But we've known it's been happening for a couple of years.
- 41:42Speaker 1: But like, shout a few keywords at your phone, oh yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 1: and see if your phone starts giving you ads related
- 41:47Speaker 1: to those keywords, dude.
- 41:49Speaker 2: And that's that's a thing.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Where we're like, oh god, that's creepy and so weird
- 41:54Speaker 1: and so funny. But it's not a big leap from
- 41:56Speaker 1: that to oh, your phone heard you saying some unpatriotic
- 42:01Speaker 1: shit exactly. Now a team is being dispatched to see
- 42:05Speaker 1: how you actually feel about America.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Most of the ship, I say is fairly unpatriotic.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Like once they flip that switch, I'm getting
- 42:13Speaker 1: black bag. Yeah yeah, next day. Yeah, And it like
- 42:17Speaker 1: it's we we did this to ourselves, Like we've been
- 42:20Speaker 1: heading this direction since nine to eleven.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Well, no, we didn't give a fuck, and we all
- 42:24Speaker 3: shared a few videos about to Patriot Act on our
- 42:26Speaker 3: fucking MySpace page back in two thousand and seven. While
- 42:29Speaker 3: we listen to No Effects, do all that, do all
- 42:31Speaker 3: that really important rocking against Bush and uh yeah, now
- 42:35Speaker 3: it's like okay, well, dude, every they basically have the
- 42:38Speaker 3: machine from the Dark Knight, the first Dark Knight with
- 42:42Speaker 3: the Yeah, they can do that, and well, that's also
- 42:47Speaker 3: the thing you used to do anything. You're basically retarded
- 42:50Speaker 3: without it. You depend on it. You're more or less
- 42:52Speaker 3: like a rudimentary cyborg. And this is kind of like
- 42:55Speaker 3: your little Iron Man core. So yeah, either give that
- 42:59Speaker 3: up and you know, by a Thomas Guide and then
- 43:01Speaker 3: keep a fucking little black book on your person at
- 43:04Speaker 3: all times and talk to people on a burner phone
- 43:06Speaker 3: from seven to eleven, or you know, just don't don't
- 43:08Speaker 3: say anything too mean about the troops, dude, why would you.
- 43:10Speaker 3: They're fucking protect you, they love you. Look at the
- 43:12Speaker 3: big poster, they're all like hugging.
- 43:14Speaker 2: There's a black guy, Mexican guy, Asian guy, white guy.
- 43:16Speaker 2: They're all helping a cat get out of a tree.
- 43:19Speaker 3: They're not fucking shooting rocket propelled grenades into preschools full
- 43:23Speaker 3: of you know, refugees.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Why would they, oh dark times, Yeah, all right, Number eleven.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Antifa is funded by George Soros.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Yeah, this is another one I'm afraid to learn about
- 43:35Speaker 2: because I'm like, oh God, I might I might have
- 43:37Speaker 2: to believe something that's awkward about this shit. Well.
- 43:41Speaker 1: The the thing about this particular angle on George Soros
- 43:45Speaker 1: is Antifa isn't a group like there's no not it's
- 43:49Speaker 1: like there's no one to yeah, donate money too.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of like a good analogy, but
- 43:54Speaker 2: it's like, uh, yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 1: It's like it's a lifestyle sh Yeah, you show up
- 44:00Speaker 1: to particularly or forty k Yeah, you show up to
- 44:03Speaker 1: particular types of protests for a very particular reason. Yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 1: but it doesn't require that much money.
- 44:10Speaker 2: It's more like being a furry where you kind of
- 44:12Speaker 2: there's different communities, but it's not like there's no president
- 44:15Speaker 2: or king of it. It's just sort of a you know,
- 44:17Speaker 2: decentralized organization.
- 44:19Speaker 1: That said, George Soros definitely spreads a lot of money around,
- 44:25Speaker 1: and he spreads it around with the intent of influencing
- 44:29Speaker 1: various governments. Sure, and I've had lots of issues with
- 44:34Speaker 1: people on the right who do that, and my assumption
- 44:37Speaker 1: is always that they're doing it to spread their evil
- 44:40Speaker 1: aims and intentions. I don't know that George Soros is
- 44:44Speaker 1: completely good.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Like, Yeah, here's the thing.
- 44:47Speaker 1: If you're elected government happens to be run by a
- 44:52Speaker 1: person that mainstream American voters wouldn't agree with, that doesn't
- 44:57Speaker 1: mean we have the right to go in and topple
- 44:59Speaker 1: that government. Yeah, and that's kind of what.
- 45:03Speaker 2: George looking at anything we've ever done.
- 45:07Speaker 1: But no, exactly, Like we have a long history of that.
- 45:11Speaker 1: And the thing is like, we sometimes need different justifications
- 45:15Speaker 1: for that to satisfy different segments of the American population.
- 45:20Speaker 1: And sometimes it's oh, they're fucking they're communists and we
- 45:24Speaker 1: got to stop communism, and that appeases people on the right.
- 45:27Speaker 1: And sometimes it's oh, they're human rights abusers and we
- 45:30Speaker 1: got to fix that, and that appeases people on the left.
- 45:33Speaker 1: But I feel like the negative part of our government
- 45:37Speaker 1: needs people like George Soros and people on the right
- 45:40Speaker 1: to achieve their aims.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean you do.
- 45:43Speaker 3: You just sort of need like a in a way
- 45:46Speaker 3: it kind of reminds you of Epstein, because I don't
- 45:47Speaker 3: to be perfect the nasty. I don't know a ton
- 45:49Speaker 3: about George Soros, but like Epstein seems to be sort
- 45:52Speaker 3: of set up to run this whole thing. They basically
- 45:55Speaker 3: needed a guy to be so you sort of look
- 45:58Speaker 3: at a guy, and you sort of look at a
- 45:59Speaker 3: few candidate and you go, Okay, maybe maybe they had like.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Ariana Huffington or something. They're like, oh, maybe we can
- 46:03Speaker 2: get her to do it. And then you look at it.
- 46:05Speaker 2: I've got some money. You seems to have these sort
- 46:06Speaker 2: of like feelings, just kind of public persona, and then like, yeah,
- 46:09Speaker 2: let's get him to fucking Hey, could you turn loose
- 46:12Speaker 2: a couple couple hundred grand of the freedom fighters in
- 46:14Speaker 2: Venezuela and maybe get a few uh Grenigans going to
- 46:16Speaker 2: the capital.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Get this fucking guy out of there. You know, like
- 46:19Speaker 3: a little bit of that stuff. Put yourself on the scale,
- 46:21Speaker 3: you know, of the on the.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Butcher shops of a democracy all over the world, like,
- 46:25Speaker 2: and you find yourself. I got to do it.
- 46:27Speaker 1: As much as people on the left like to laugh
- 46:31Speaker 1: off this particular conspiracy theory funding non governmental organizations is
- 46:36Speaker 1: how we topple governments these days. Like if you look
- 46:39Speaker 1: into Venezuela, the US government hasn't personally pumped a bunch
- 46:44Speaker 1: of money into Venezuela, but we've pumped a bunch of
- 46:46Speaker 1: money into non governmental organizations that spread democracy in Venezuela.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And what that means is they go to people and go, hey,
- 46:56Speaker 1: do you hate your leader? Let us tell you how
- 46:58Speaker 1: to topple them.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Yeah, show you to make mustard gas. Yeah, you gotta
- 47:02Speaker 2: get this T shirt wet, and now you gotta wrap
- 47:03Speaker 2: it around your face.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Don't forget that stuff. And that is what we fucking do.
- 47:07Speaker 1: And I don't doubt that George.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Soros does some of it too, sure man.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Number ten, crowd Strike. Are you familiar with this one
- 47:15Speaker 1: a little bit?
- 47:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:16Speaker 1: With the I only have this so high on the
- 47:19Speaker 1: list because well.
- 47:20Speaker 2: It's dominated the fucking media cycle for like two years.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Well because it pertains to the impeachment hearings that are
- 47:26Speaker 1: happening right now.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because the.
- 47:31Speaker 1: For all of Trump's or all of our you know,
- 47:35Speaker 1: the research into what Trump did in Ukraine, one thing
- 47:40Speaker 1: that gets left out is he was asking Ukraine to
- 47:43Speaker 1: investigate something else. And it's really uh tempting on the
- 47:48Speaker 1: left to assume, well, what he was asking Ukraine to
- 47:52Speaker 1: investigate was probably nothing, Yeah, but it probably wasn't like
- 47:56Speaker 1: it was probably something, probably something. Well for him to
- 48:01Speaker 1: ask anyone to do anything that even this sounds sort
- 48:03Speaker 1: of like business related.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I feel like most of his asks.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Are like, do we have a bigger frame that's more
- 48:09Speaker 3: gold for the painting, you know, for him to make
- 48:11Speaker 3: it like a bit like, hey, could you tell me
- 48:13Speaker 3: what's going on in Honduras, It's like that's surprisingly on
- 48:17Speaker 3: the ball. I feel like most of his kind of
- 48:19Speaker 3: things is like, what's the fucking monogram on the on
- 48:21Speaker 3: the golf clap bag.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Doing it's upside down again? You know. I think that's
- 48:25Speaker 2: a lot of what he's talking about day to day.
- 48:26Speaker 3: So he was actually trying to you know, he was
- 48:29Speaker 3: pushing some paper, he was making some copies here, he
- 48:31Speaker 3: was doing some president thing.
- 48:32Speaker 1: It seems like, yeah, the thing about crowd strike, it's
- 48:35Speaker 1: the name of an Internet research group or Internet technology.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Those weird kind of think tank things that is.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Actually located right here in California. But according to this
- 48:47Speaker 1: conspiracy theory, they are owned by a Ukrainian businessman, and
- 48:53Speaker 1: they actually meddled in the twenty sixteen election and then
- 48:59Speaker 1: used CrowdStrike to plant evidence making it seem like Russia,
- 49:05Speaker 1: oh battled in the twenty sixteen.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Interesting, so they were sort of like it.
- 49:10Speaker 3: So now the conspiracy is that they basically made it
- 49:14Speaker 3: look like Russia, so that MSNBC and whoever would like
- 49:20Speaker 3: toe that line for a couple of years and then
- 49:22Speaker 3: look stupid when it wasn't.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Was that kind of the idea?
- 49:25Speaker 1: Well, I think the idea is more because this, if
- 49:28Speaker 1: you look into it, this is a conspiracy theory that's
- 49:31Speaker 1: mostly pushed by Russia. Okay, and we know what Russia
- 49:35Speaker 1: has done in regards to Ukraine.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're all relationship.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, They're always happy to protect Ukraine and look
- 49:42Speaker 1: out for him.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:43Speaker 1: But the thinking is Russia planted this conspiracy theory because
- 49:50Speaker 1: they knew people on the right in the United States
- 49:52Speaker 1: would go, oh, yeah, there it is that exonerates Trump.
- 49:55Speaker 1: So that's where like, we'll run with that one because
- 49:58Speaker 1: it fits our narrative better. And it kind of feels
- 50:02Speaker 1: that way like opposition research isn't that unusual of a thing?
- 50:09Speaker 3: I bet people also just have, like they keep just
- 50:11Speaker 3: a lot of sort of there's a lot of these
- 50:13Speaker 3: like vague, fucking shell companies that kind of don't really
- 50:16Speaker 3: do anything. And then I think every once in a
- 50:18Speaker 3: while someone goes like, hey, we got a job for
- 50:20Speaker 3: you got to go back and pretend to fucking do this,
- 50:22Speaker 3: and they sort of, you know, get a few tempts,
- 50:24Speaker 3: and they they make sure that everyone's only looking at
- 50:26Speaker 3: like one square inch of the thing that they're doing,
- 50:28Speaker 3: you know, and then they sort of then they can
- 50:30Speaker 3: use them in whatever way they just have, like you know,
- 50:33Speaker 3: like it's just a resource, like having a fucking you know,
- 50:36Speaker 3: a shitty tech company in the whatever, like suburbs of Sacramento,
- 50:40Speaker 3: like and then you can, oh, okay, we could use
- 50:42Speaker 3: that for this.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's gonna be perfect. Start drawing that up, you know,
- 50:44Speaker 2: we'll get Yeah.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Well, like the when that Edward Snowden thing happened, he
- 50:48Speaker 1: was working for some bullshit third party contractor in the
- 50:52Speaker 1: middle of nowhere. Oh yeah, like this shit happens all
- 50:55Speaker 1: over the place. Like again, the CIA has a twelve
- 50:59Speaker 1: billion dollar a year budget. Yeah they're spending it. Well,
- 51:03Speaker 1: they got it.
- 51:04Speaker 2: They got his bed to or else they don't get
- 51:06Speaker 2: they don't make it sixteen next.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Year, next year it's only eleven billion, and then what
- 51:09Speaker 1: do they do?
- 51:10Speaker 2: Oh get well, they couldn't. How could they protect how
- 51:12Speaker 2: could they keep us free?
- 51:13Speaker 3: Think about Think about how much less free we'd be
- 51:15Speaker 3: if the CIA you only had a billion dollars?
- 51:18Speaker 1: Uh, number nine, This one would have been higher on
- 51:22Speaker 1: the list.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Fucking QAnon in the storm, dude, this is the most
- 51:26Speaker 3: like it's like Inuyasha level storytelling.
- 51:29Speaker 1: It's bad and they botched it so badly.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they thought that fucking he was gonna have
- 51:35Speaker 3: the big reveal, right, I.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Think it was supposed to be November third, twenty seventeen.
- 51:39Speaker 2: I think so.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it was when the storm was supposed to happen.
- 51:42Speaker 1: And that's when like Tom Hanks and Hillary Clinton and
- 51:46Speaker 1: fucking Jude Law and every other liberal on the planet
- 51:50Speaker 1: was supposed to get arrested for child sex trafficking, yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 1: and all, like that's when we were going to find
- 51:57Speaker 1: out that the Mueller probe. Trump was actually doing that
- 52:00Speaker 1: with Muller to uncover this big ring, and all of
- 52:03Speaker 1: the QAnon stuff was building up to that to November third,
- 52:08Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, which was supposed to be this mass.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Arrest, and then he had the w retcon it. Yeah,
- 52:13Speaker 2: and it was like one of those happened.
- 52:15Speaker 1: One of those fucking doomsday cults. That's like the world's
- 52:18Speaker 1: going to end May twenty first, twenty eighteen, yep. And
- 52:21Speaker 1: then May twenty forgot to carry one number. We know
- 52:24Speaker 1: it exactly now May twenty second. They're like, hear us out, Yeah,
- 52:28Speaker 1: we were wrong again.
- 52:29Speaker 2: No, some of the uh, some of the maths maybe
- 52:33Speaker 2: you know these are old books, you know. Then you go, okay,
- 52:36Speaker 2: we go we do.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Math different now, No, don't what are you talking about.
- 52:39Speaker 2: There's the people that think it's JFK. Junior. Yeah, love,
- 52:42Speaker 2: They thought that JFK. Junior was gonna be like, and
- 52:46Speaker 2: I'm cue and pull off the fucking mission impossible mask
- 52:49Speaker 2: at the parade, you know.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Just flew his plane straight into an underwater layer owned
- 52:54Speaker 1: by the Kennedys exactly. Yeah.
- 52:56Speaker 2: But they thought, yeah, because they thought he was going
- 52:58Speaker 2: to be at the fucking uh uh yeah, I know,
- 53:01Speaker 2: I don't even I think it was. Yeah.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Jfkgne was still alive, and they thought he was gonna
- 53:04Speaker 3: be at the Fourth of July parade and he was
- 53:05Speaker 3: gonna like stand at a tank and tell everybody you
- 53:07Speaker 3: know that Hillary Clinton's a pedophile and here's here's a
- 53:09Speaker 3: picture of her, you.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Know or whatever sucking a nine year old's dick, and
- 53:12Speaker 2: then we're all gonna shoot fireworks and listen to a CDC.
- 53:16Speaker 2: You know It's that would be amazing, It would rock. Yeah, Like,
- 53:19Speaker 2: I'm not rooting against it. Let's be honest, it's not
- 53:24Speaker 2: gonna happen. Uh. Number eight Deep State.
- 53:28Speaker 1: This one, it depends on what part of the deep
- 53:33Speaker 1: state theory we're talking about.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Can I explain the deep state from like a tell
- 53:37Speaker 3: like a television analogy that I.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Sort of whatever if realized? Yes?
- 53:41Speaker 1: Please.
- 53:41Speaker 3: The guy my boss works for SNL or works for
- 53:44Speaker 3: SNL for for a number of years, and he was like, dude,
- 53:47Speaker 3: like the camera guys, the janitors, the people that just
- 53:50Speaker 3: like fucking set out the bagels. They look at you
- 53:53Speaker 3: as a writer like you're nothing because you're just like,
- 53:56Speaker 3: oh yeah, you're like you come and go like those
- 53:59Speaker 3: guys all the fucking team.
- 54:00Speaker 2: They've been there forever.
- 54:01Speaker 3: Like when I go talk to the director or whatever
- 54:02Speaker 3: on my show, it's like I wouldn't say she's like
- 54:04Speaker 3: incordial to me. But there is a little bit of
- 54:06Speaker 3: that vibe where it's kind of like, oh, yeah, you're
- 54:07Speaker 3: just the latest fucking twenty six year old dude that
- 54:10Speaker 3: comes in here and tells me shit, and I've been
- 54:12Speaker 3: doing this for thirty years and I'll do it for
- 54:13Speaker 3: thirty more, you know.
- 54:14Speaker 2: So it's like it's those bureaucrats.
- 54:16Speaker 3: It's those people that are just sort of in these
- 54:17Speaker 3: kind of like little frictional positions, and I think some
- 54:20Speaker 3: of them have a lot more power than people think
- 54:22Speaker 3: they do.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Some of them. You know, it's maybe a little less
- 54:25Speaker 2: fucking fishy and weird as it all seems, and it's
- 54:28Speaker 2: actually kind of boring, but yeah, it is. There's a
- 54:31Speaker 2: huge number of like government employees that are just kind
- 54:34Speaker 2: of like not elected, they're just around. They you know,
- 54:36Speaker 2: they have widely varying purviews and fucking authorities and powers.
- 54:42Speaker 2: So it is like it is a little bit of
- 54:44Speaker 2: a fucking creepy thing. It is a little worrying, you know,
- 54:47Speaker 2: it is.
- 54:48Speaker 1: What what makes it extra worrying to me is this
- 54:53Speaker 1: is the kind of thing where when you're talking about
- 54:56Speaker 1: like the really radical element of Trump's base, to them,
- 55:01Speaker 1: deep state is just going to mean any elected official
- 55:04Speaker 1: who disagrees Trump. And when people think about the Nazis
- 55:11Speaker 1: and compare them to Trump, like the the defense people
- 55:15Speaker 1: always want to make as well, Trump's not rounding up
- 55:18Speaker 1: Jews and there's not millions of dead Jews yet, But like,
- 55:22Speaker 1: that wasn't all the Nazis did, And especially when it
- 55:26Speaker 1: comes to rounding people up, it wasn't really Jews that
- 55:30Speaker 1: were first. It was intellectuals and opposition that who got
- 55:35Speaker 1: rounded up first, Like all the people who were smart
- 55:39Speaker 1: enough to go, Okay, what this fucking government's doing is
- 55:43Speaker 1: really really, really bad.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the guy with ed column, Yeah, the guy with.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Enough of a platform to say no, this is that
- 55:52Speaker 1: we're going down a bad path. Shit, those motherfuckers got
- 55:56Speaker 1: rounded up first.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Which is then, which is that's smart?
- 56:01Speaker 1: It's brilliant.
- 56:02Speaker 2: I would I don't know if I would have thought
- 56:03Speaker 2: of that.
- 56:03Speaker 1: It's brilliant, and it like that's what the deep state conspiracy. Like,
- 56:09Speaker 1: that's what worries me about it is that it'll be
- 56:12Speaker 1: flipped into a thing where an entire portion of Trump's
- 56:16Speaker 1: base is just okay with him literally purging the government
- 56:21Speaker 1: of people who disagree with him. Yeah, all based on
- 56:24Speaker 1: the idea that Obama set up a shadow government that's
- 56:28Speaker 1: trying to undo his presidency.
- 56:30Speaker 2: I think it's really part of why.
- 56:31Speaker 3: I also like that nothing ever fucking changes, because you know,
- 56:35Speaker 3: it's like we've got all these like crusty old well
- 56:37Speaker 3: that's like Mitch McConnell's whole game is just like making
- 56:40Speaker 3: a like super block of like you know, basically basically
- 56:43Speaker 3: turning the like judicial branch of the government into like
- 56:46Speaker 3: a super legislature and just stacking it out with like
- 56:49Speaker 3: conservative justices and like fucking you know, making it more
- 56:52Speaker 3: and more of a pain in the ass, and like
- 56:53Speaker 3: it's it's an incredible it's a good strategy. It's like
- 56:56Speaker 3: a fucking he's playing dirty and he's kind of just
- 56:58Speaker 3: like running this sort of like it's like one of
- 57:01Speaker 3: those burn decks in a card game that just attacks
- 57:03Speaker 3: your life points and doesn't have any cool monsters. It's like, oh,
- 57:06Speaker 3: it's so fucking boring to play against me. Go, well,
- 57:09Speaker 3: it's a good moments you're beating me. Yeah, So it's yeah,
- 57:11Speaker 3: like all those people have lifetime appointments. There's all these
- 57:13Speaker 3: fucking employees that you'll never know their names, will go
- 57:16Speaker 3: to work in this little fucking dreary, fluorescent office building
- 57:20Speaker 3: somewhere and have all this power and you can never
- 57:22Speaker 3: do anything about you never.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Get that guy out of there. He's like six fucking
- 57:25Speaker 2: you know, uh, ten years deep or whatever, and he's
- 57:29Speaker 2: about to go to gold Watch and all the shit.
- 57:31Speaker 2: So it's like, dude, I mean, the country's so big,
- 57:35Speaker 2: it's we can't like go down to Paris and just
- 57:37Speaker 2: throw a cinderblock at the fucking guy. It's like, it's like,
- 57:40Speaker 2: I think it's just gonna keep getting worse.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it sometimes feels like having a country this big
- 57:46Speaker 1: is sort of a failed experiment.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if you could really.
- 57:49Speaker 1: That we could maybe just scrap.
- 57:52Speaker 3: I think like, look, I mean I hope Bernie wins,
- 57:56Speaker 3: but I don't think he's going to. I think he's
- 57:57Speaker 3: gonna start winning, and then I think he's gonna get
- 57:59Speaker 3: shot in the Yeah.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Feels like we're ripe for an assassination.
- 58:04Speaker 2: And that is the guy. Yeah right, that's the guy
- 58:08Speaker 2: that if you're gonna like, well him or I.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Could honestly see him or Trump. Yeah, And just because
- 58:15Speaker 1: I know the Nessay is listening, I want to make.
- 58:17Speaker 2: It clear I don't want either of them to get you.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I don't want any political assassinations in my country that's
- 58:22Speaker 1: always chaos, or.
- 58:23Speaker 3: I want anyone who's a fan of my work to
- 58:25Speaker 3: do anything like that exactly.
- 58:27Speaker 1: And uh, but it just feels like that kind of
- 58:31Speaker 1: climate where something like that is gonna happen and it's
- 58:34Speaker 1: gonna be really catastortic.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I'm really surprised there hasn't been more. Yeah, you know,
- 58:38Speaker 3: I don't know exactly why that is. Maybe maybe some
- 58:40Speaker 3: of it is because of all this fucking surveillance, you know.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Well, and it could be that our like our intelligence,
- 58:47Speaker 1: I think when all of world history burns and we're
- 58:51Speaker 1: left to sift through the rubble, we're gonna find that
- 58:54Speaker 1: the United States probably had the most brutal and effective
- 58:58Speaker 1: intelligence services in history.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And we.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Play it off like, oh yeah, Israeli intelligence is so up.
- 59:07Speaker 3: It's like, I'm sure, but I bet you we are
- 59:09Speaker 3: fucking I bet we are like the tentacle ass step
- 59:13Speaker 3: brother porn of the intelligence, you know, and everyone else
- 59:17Speaker 3: is like we like, uh, I don't know, I wore
- 59:20Speaker 3: like heels, you know, like that was kind of weird, Like.
- 59:23Speaker 1: The CIA, we don't know that the CIA killed JFK,
- 59:26Speaker 1: but we know they threatened him.
- 59:29Speaker 2: And he's the fucking president, and the president that everyone
- 59:34Speaker 2: got together and picked. You know, yeah, the Catholic one
- 59:37Speaker 2: that had some new ideas. Weird, that was too exotic.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Catholicism is too exotic for these fucking lizards. People were doomed.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Number seven spicy Catholic atheist socialism, you know, secular, fucking
- 59:52Speaker 2: shared cheer boys. I don't have a great feeling. Number
- 59:56Speaker 2: seven Pizza Gay. Here's the thing about Pizza Gay, man.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I do feel like we may have a rushed to judgment.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: In twenty seventeen, I was like, man, this is the
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: stupidest thing I've ever heard. And now in twenty nineteen,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, it probably wasn't that pizza place though. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you can sell me on the child sex trafficking ring
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: run by elites. Oh sure, the Washington DC area was.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I was.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: There's a guy that wrote a book called The Franklin Scandal,
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: which I read, which is pretty interesting. I think Nick Bryant.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Anyway, he was on Tim Dillon's show and he said
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: something kind of interesting about Pizzagate. He asked him what
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: he thought about it, and he kind of had a
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: similar this is similar to my take, and he's just like,
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: I haven't I've been kind of afraid to look into it,
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: you know, because I don't want to have to be
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: the Pizzagate guy.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: But he's like, I will say, there's a lot of
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: smoke there, you know.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's the when I brought up the Finders earlier.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I don't even remember if it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Was, oh yeah, the finals we start, but yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: The like, if you look into the Finders, that's a
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: real thing. It's a real group we know existed. Look
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: at the FBI files about the Finders. They found a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: preschool that they owned that had underground tunnels it's fucked up,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and a fire alarm system that didn't connect to any
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: local fire departments. Like they had a preschool set up
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to evacuate kids if shit got hot. Yeah, why why
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: why do you need to evacuate kids?
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Some of the like to find Like I had to
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: like that was a tough book to listen to because
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: it was like some of those like Finders, like reports,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: the documents going through it and just the shit that
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: they were doing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: It's just like stomach churning evil. It's so fucked up.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: And then the CIA steps in during that investigation, is like,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it's an internal matter, don't worry.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they're like this above your head and we're
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: just gonna.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You weren't on this.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: You see the guy at the grocery store the next
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: week and you go, oh, great, good, Okay, you guys
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: took care.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You weren't on the The Finders episode. But we did
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the mk Ultra episodes together, and my.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I think I was on The Finders. We did one
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: about the find Oh yeah, we did.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: We touched on it briefly, but we just did another
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: episode because the FBI just released all these documents. Oh
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: they did.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: There's more shit. Yeah, I don't know. I can't read
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: too much about kids. Fuck, it gets to it's really
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: I get upset.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: But yeah, I might have to check those out.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's crazy in the like, I don't know
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: the thing about it. It's not something I think will
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: ever prove happened, but like we did that.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: It's one of those decentralized things. It's like it's like
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: there's not like a website. It's all probably deep web
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: encryptied shit that's all deleted, right, after you sent it,
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: And what my feel my honest feeling about what the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: finders is at least a part of is I think
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: after MK Ultra got found out and the CIA had
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to be like, okay, so we've been doing this at
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty hospitals and universities across the house
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: in Canada.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: That's so many sorry, that's so many universities in hospitals.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I feel like the CIA took mk ultra out of
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: hospitals in universities and moved it to cults and communes. Oh,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: and that's why there's this huge uptick of cults and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: communes after like seventy five, which seventy four is when
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the Church Committee here is.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Kind of like the NRA and the KKK.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you know they shut down the KKK NRAs like
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: six months later or whatever.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and it it.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: It just feels like the CIA took all those experiments
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: and moved them to cults where it would be harder
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: for us to infiltrate.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: We might need a Courtney Love every once in a
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: while to go and shut down a.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: New shut down a burgeoning indie rock scene.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Yeah, people's people are loving each other.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: We gotta get ourselves a girl with pink hair and
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: you know, pumper full of you know, sodium pentothal, and
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: teach her how to kill people.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: You know. It's like you never know, you need to
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: have a couple of those you need to It's like,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: do you think it is sort of a it's sort
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: of like a like a funnel system, like almost like
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: it's a trade school. Here's what I picture the Finders
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: preschool lives.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: It's a trade school, but the major like that, you know,
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: there's different like well, you can go like mechanical, you
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: can like work on cars, or it's like you can
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: go construction.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: You could do like, you know, welding, you could do carpentry.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: It's like all right, so you can either become a
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Manchurian candidate or you can fuck uh really famous people
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: for like five years until you're too old and we
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: throw you off a boat. You know, like those are
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: which one do you want to do? Do you want
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: to kill Halsey or do you want to suck Bloomberg's
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: cock with Subway Jared and you know, and then we'll
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: feed you to the wolves on Big Saint James. This
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: we and they haven't found that one. Yet you know, like, yeah,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: it seems like it's kind of.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: That well, like right now, like I'm I'm very much
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: on the beat of Jeffrey Epstein was probably an intelligence
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: asset some government. Oh yeah, who was absolutely blackmailing people.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: And like we want to think the United States doesn't
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: get up to shit like that, but like we know that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Just as one example, the CIA operated a brothel in
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: San Francisco in the sixties as part of MK Ultra,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: which raises a really obvious question why, like it wasn't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: so we could give dudes acid and see how they
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: fucked when they were on acid. Uh, Like by that
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: point we knew what acid did. That was probably a
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: black mail house where they would get dirt on people
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: visiting San Francisco.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well just and again then if you go,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: all right, we got like, you know, twenty five guys
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: fucked a hooker here. Then you look at them, you like,
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: you know, do a little like background research, and then.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: You go, oh, yeah, we could probably use in for this,
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: We could use them for that.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: You kind of got like a list of openings and
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: stuff you want to kind of get done, and the
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: sort of shit you might you know, you think about
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: who could I get to do that.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: That's a tough one.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: You go, Oh, somebody that puts cheat on their wife
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: with a hooker, I'll blackmail them, you know, And then
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: you kind of make your little list of candidates.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: You got your own little LinkedIn, you old blackmail LinkedIn.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You fucking put them to work.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: And it's not like it was a It's not like
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: it was a brothel that had a fucking Neon CIA
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: sign outside. No, you weren't gonna land and someone was
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: gonna be like, Hey, I know this great CIA spot
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: where we can go get dosed with acid and fuck
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: strange women like you'd get lured there, like someone like
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you would go there thinking, oh, I'm just so rich
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: and powerful that this other rich and powerful person knows
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: about this secret spot.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Where we go fuck.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: And then you get there and next thing you know,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you're getting blackmailed by the American government.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: And you're like, oh, if it sounds too good to
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: be true, it is.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Remember that, And like we want to believe the government
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: was doing that shit in the sixties and seventies and
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: then stopped. No, they've just gotten better at the stopping.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: They love stopping doing stuff. They would sometimes they go,
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: we were wrong and they stopped absolutely Yeah, uh fucking
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: uh yeah, like shit, I lost in the.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: One number six spygate donald Trump version, not the two
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: thousand and seven New England Patriots Ye spying on the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Saint Louis Rams.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: No, the extended mix.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Right. This was Donald Trump's claim that Obama spied on
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: the Trump campaign. And I only have this so high
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: up the list because I think we're not done hearing
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: about it. I think if the impeachment hearings run their
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: course and Donald Trump is not removed from office.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Uh huh, which I really doubt he will be.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I really doubt he will be, the next hearings that
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: are gonna happen are going to be the Department of
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Justice possibly prosecuting Obama and maybe even Hillary Clinton overspying
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: on Donald Trump's campaign. Yeah, and that's not me saying
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: that would be a justified thing or that that actually happened.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: But that is how Donald Trump will wield his power
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: next if impeachment doesn't work. Yeah, Like he's already got
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: William Barr investigating the Russia investigation, and the people who.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Look to no, he's gotte it.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Look, he's got an authority to sort of like probably
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: get some of these investigations going. It's like, well, you
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: sort of heard all that in the form of like
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: a lot of kind of reactionism and sort of like
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: hand the hair pulling and fretting and where whatever they
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: call that shit hand ringing is what I was looking
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: for about how like, oh yeah, if you get a
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: you and panel of grand jury, you can indict a
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: ham sandwich. And it's like, well, yeah, that's this is
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: the kind of guy wants to go around and dieting
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: ham sandwiches. You know, like they they got some fucking
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: dork who's you know, it seems to be you know,
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: more or less an actual on the one of these
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: actually mean as close as you can get in that
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: high position to power, but more or less on the
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: level kind of by the book civil servanty kind of dork.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: You know. Every once in a while, there's just like
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: someone that's not even really evil or bad. It seems
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: like they're just sort of a dork, you know, like
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Robert Mueller. Like I think it's like post office, but
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: you get promoted or you had a master's degree, and
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: now it's like, oh that guy just like oh, well,
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: like Hank Hills. I think there's a good number of
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Hank Hills in the government, you know. But yeah, I
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: mean it seems like you could, you could definitely do
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: something with this. I mean that's and he's I think,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: seeing how well it's working for them and going like
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: I want to I want a piece of this. I
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: have these weapons at my disposal.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Why not fucking add this to my campaign of like
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: overwhelming misinformation or whatever.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: You know, there's a really good, real world example of
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: one of our allies doing something similar. There's a ah,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: what is is? It called The End of Democracy? Hold
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: on the Edge of Democracy. It's called It's on Netflix
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: right now, and it's about what happened in Brazil that
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: led to Jaire Bolsonaro becoming president.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy, what's going on Brazil right now?
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And what it was is the president at the time,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: a woman named Dilma Russeph, put these laws in place
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: that would make investigating corruption a lot easier. Yeah, and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: all of her right wing opponents were like, shit, that's
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: going to make it a lot easier to prosecute us,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: but it will also make it a lot easier for
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: us to pin something on her. Yeah. So instead of
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: waiting to be prosecuted, they wait on the this Wow
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: investigation and got her impeached and got her predecessor fucking arrested. Wow.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: He just got out of jail, and they put this
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: fucking right wing Donald Trump type monster named JayR. Boalsonaro
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: in office. And his first order of business is to
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: tell poor people to burn down the rainforest to make
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: room for farming land. And like he's just annihilating Brazil
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: right now, and.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: It all happened.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: He's really saying, just go break down. That's why a
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: lot of the rainforest is burning. He's like, poor people
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: deserve land. And it's like they can move in. They
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: could move to the land you're occupying. Yeah.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Maybe, Yeah, though I don't know.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: You gotta pep a golf course or whatever exactly, you know.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: And it's like it seems impossible that in this half
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: of the world we would just arrest a former president
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: and like use that as a means to just wipe
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: out opposition on that side at all.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: When you say this half, you mean the Western world, Yeah,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: don't know, I mean the Western world encompasses a couple uh,
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: we got we got a couple sketchy guys over here
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: on our team. I yeah, I could see it going
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: down in Brazil. Yeah, you know, but yeah, it is.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: It is wild that it's fucking there's like shit like
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: this is happening everywhere, right, there's no time to keep
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: track of it. It really, you really can't, you know
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: The difference with Brazil is that we support it.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, like we're we're.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: On the bad guy's side. So I could see a
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: situation like that jumping off in the United States where
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Trump is able to take an investigation into Obama interfering
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: in the twenty sixteen election far enough that Obama actually
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: gets fucking arrested.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he he would love that, He would
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: love it. Yeah, you know.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: It's it's like with being just it just a president
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: is really a shitty idea because it's like, yeah, imagine
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: like if you were It's it's like if you had
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: a boyfriend that was like, Okay, there's a bunch of
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: different guys, but they all say shared the same body,
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: you know, and you just had to deal with like
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: he had a completely different brain and personality, but he
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: looks just like the guy that you know was like
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: a little handsy, or you got in the big fight
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: with or was a dick or lied, and you just
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: had to always get over that, you know.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: And it's like, we've been doing that for a couple
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: of hundred years and we've been causing the bunch of
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: making a big shit show. And they're like, oh no,
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: it's a different guys. Fine, and it's like, oh, this
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: is We're so this was so stupid. There's no way
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: this is gonna pan out.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: We're fucked.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Birtherism is next. This is like one of the
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: most consequential ones.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: We're getting into the This is the top five.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Now, this is like kind of a lame one been
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: in a way, it's sort of the origin story for
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: half of these.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Birtherriism started kind of by Trump in
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: twenty twelve.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: No, he was he was a big part of it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: When he was considering running against Obama and he started
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: this rumor that Obama was not born in the United States.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: And man, that rumor still has some fucking legs.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: So this day, even back in two thousand and seven,
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: arms remember it. Obama was just started winning. I remember
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: walking to my Spanish class and remember a guy like
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: talking with someone was talking about Obama, and you know,
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: I was. It was two thousand and seven, so I
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: thought he was awesome. Uh, and I said and he said, uh,
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: he's a fucking Muslim. And I was like, he's not
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: a Muslim. It wouldn't matter if he did. But I
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: remember him being like, he's fucking Muslim. He's not from here,
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: you know, or whatever. He's African, he's you know.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: I remember when all this a few very Chino words,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: let's say.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: And the what birtherism reminds me of in terms of
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Trump scandals is Trump's tax returns. Sure, where Trump is like, well,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I'm one thing, and a lot of people are like, no,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: you're not. And there's one way we can prove it.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Release those tax returns. Obama released his birth certificate. Yeah,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and not just the short form version. He eventually I
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: he did eventually get the full one. I had a
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: T shirt that had Obama's long form birth certificate on
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: it that Obama the Obama campaign. So after he released it,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I'd buy a T shirt with Trump's tax return on it.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, put it out.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I mean, like, release that tax return, let me buy
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: it on a T shirt.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: I'll buy it if they do like a collab with
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Supreme oh hell yeah, you know, if they like, you know,
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: maybe get.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Like a cool, cool artist involved, you know. Yeah, I
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: would definitely.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Trump Tax Return X Supreme.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Yeah X Supreme SS twenty twenty. Yeah, I'd be in.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: I'd be Will the way and I cop hell yeah.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: Uh So that's number five.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: We're getting We're coming up to the the This is
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: the top five here, So birtherism.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Birtherism is number five, and I feel like it belongs
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: at number five.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: I think it fits, man, because it really like that
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: was sort of kicked the door open to all of
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: like that kind of restarted.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: That was sort of like when jingoism was back. Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: you know, that's kind of like, oh fuck, we're doing
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: disco again. Like it was sort of like got it
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: all humming.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: It was like a kind of an acknowledgment that it's
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: okay to start being a little more racist, and.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: They're just like they were doing it on TV at
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Jiffy Lubs at three o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: It was like just right out there and everyone was.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: Like, oh yeah, let's just fucking this is this is
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: office conversation, let's all just bring up this incredibly fucking
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: racist point, you know, at work around the water cooler,
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: and we'd all started getting as used to this and
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: it started off their beef and like the whole White
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: House correspondence dinner, that whole arc, like it's all in there.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is the genesis of a lot of
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: the problems we're facing today.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: So even though it didn't go anywhere and it's obvious bullshit,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: super inconsequential, still pretty important.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Number four, Russia Gate. Is this even a conspiracy theory anymore? Yeah,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Like there's a four hundred page book about it, which,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: by the way, nothing bothers me more in twenty nineteen
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: than an elected official saying I've read the Mueller Report.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: It's a four hundred page book available at Barnes and Noble. Like,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you don't get credit for having read one book this year. Yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: you should have read the Muller Report the day it
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: came out.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, certainly.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Yeah, And like Russia Gate, it's, uh, the idea that
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Russia intervened in the twenty sixteen election at not the
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: button necessarily not the behest of Donald Trump, but he
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: didn't discourage it, and he maybe, well.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: No, he made those like like when he's like on stage,
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: I fully believe most of the time he's just riffing.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Like I don't think there's a lot of premeditated like
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: we need you to say to this, to send a
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: single signal to Masad or Putin or whoever. Like I
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: think he just fucking He just pontificates much in the
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: same way I talk, uh, And I think that gets
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: away from him and just throws shit like that out there,
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: you know. But yeah, he was definitely like you know,
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: sympathetic too, but he suddenly he threw even back during
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: the campaign, a lot of stuff.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's why I think Trump is actually one
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: of the most transparent presidents we've ever had.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: I think. So, yeah, you just have to watch.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: His rallies and wait for him to go off script.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: He's gonna tell you a lot of things he's not
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: supposed to tell you. And that's why I don't laugh
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: when he's like, maybe I'll ask for two extra years
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: when my terms up because of the Russia investigation, and
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: it's like.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Ha ha, No, you're gonna do that, will do that, Yeah,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: You're absolutely gonna do that. Like he lost two years,
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: so I owe him two years.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: And you're gonna force us to send the military in
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: to get you out of office, and we won't do it,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: and you'll just be in office for six years and
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: then ivonco win or Donald Trump Junior will win and
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: we're just fucked forever. And like the idea that I
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: don't know if this Russia thing even belongs on the
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: list as a conspiracy theory because we know it happened.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: It's just a matter of whether anything's gonna.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Come of it, and uh, you know, it seems like, no.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: It doesn't. Yeah, it seems like not a whole lot.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Except that's why I still have Spygate so high on
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: the list, because I feel like, well, that inevitable conclusion
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: could be the other side.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: The Brazil analogy is or that your kind of theory,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: there's very interesting, and I hope that's not the next
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Adam Todd Brown called it, but I think it might be.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Man it.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: The thing about that Brazil scandal is we tend to
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: think of Republicans and Democrats when it comes to elected officials,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: and that's how people thought about it in Brazil also,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: But what those people all are at the end of
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: the day is elites. Yeah, and what Brazil was was
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: some elites sacrificing other elites to save themselves. Yeah, and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: we tend to think rich people all banned together, but
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I don't think that's gonna be the case. I think
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: we will in the coming year see rich people sacrificing
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: other rich people.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: It's starting to get a little it feels a little
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: more dire. People are starting to go, we're hungry. Maybe
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: we're eating Kevin, you know, you know what I mean.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: It's getting like it's cold out, We're hungry. He's fattest,
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: He's the fattest one. Yeah, maybe we're eating Kevin. Uh,
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: I don't know, you never know, but uh yeah, it
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: is fucking It does feel like we are really coming
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: up on some kind of like consolidation of power, some
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: sort of big shift, some sort of move. And I'm
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: always I'm never the guy to think like and then
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: the black helicopters roll in. I'm like, they're gonna do
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: it gradually. Shit's gonna cost a little more, you're gonna
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: make a little less. It'll be a little harder, you'll
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: be a little more tired. They're gonna put a couple
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: more pieces of copper and you're fucking drinking water whatever,
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: and it's just gonna slowly keep getting worse until there's
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: really nothing we can do, which is right now, I
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: would say there's really nothing we can do.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: We're all comfortable, but I think it was pretty much
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: nothing we could do. And uh yeah, I think it's
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: sort of comes down to whoever is on the winning
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: team when it all really coagulates and they really these
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: two kind of sort of against each other groups are
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: done fucking each other over whoever wins. When it all
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: sort of.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: Becomes fully formed into this like horrible you know, nineteen
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: eighty four super State, it's kind of like, well, yeah,
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: well it's sort of a well we get the one
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: where they're like, oh yeah, we got to make sure
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: we have enough vegetables, or it's like we gotta be safe,
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Like which is the thing they're gonna do to try
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: to appeal to us.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: I don't than.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like heading toward a world where it's
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: gonna be bad for a lot of people, but not
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: everyone's gonna have to hurt. Yeah, Like you can just
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: watch it in silence and not say anything, Yeah, and
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: you'll be fine. But I do feel like we're heading
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: for a world where if you do say something about
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the people who are hurting, you're gonna hurt too.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and no, that's that's that's fucking it. That's a
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: good that's a good thing to think about, because I
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: think it will be like, it'll be pretty much fine
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: a lot of places like well, there will also be
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: starting to be like, you know, huge climate disasters and
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: climate refugees, and I'll just be like, oh, yeah, we
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: just don't cover that.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: We don't come out bella Hidee's got a new movie.
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: Why aren't talking about It's sucking great? Should go see it?
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, it's like that.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: That's what like, especially in this day and age, that's
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: what a really savvy dictator is gonna have to do.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Yeah, is you're gonna have to at.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Least like like sometimes if I do a longer set,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: like uh, if I'm doing comedy, if I have to
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: do thirty five forty minutes, like the first ten minutes,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I'll try to not do any actual jokes. I'll try
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: to like just see how long I can go without
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: doing jokes, because then I know I'm just coast on
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the jokes. That's what dictators do. They like, they like
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: throw stuff out there and test it out and see
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: how it works and see how you react.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and they go, will will you right in the
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: streets if I do this?
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay, And if you don't react the right way,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: eventually their material starts and fucked yeah yeah yeah, And
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: then they go.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: All right, well the black bags, Yeah.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Here come the tanks. They are in your streets. Now
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: enjoy that.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, sons, round them up. Okay.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: And all of that software that was tracking your data
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: for ADS is now tracking you for patriotism.
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: Dude, I mean, is that Have we gotten confirmation of
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: other countries doing that yet?
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: We know China polices thing.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: We know they police it, but is it like have
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: we has there been anything or any sort of leak
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: or that's gone like, oh yeah, we heard him say
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: this and then that's when I told them and they
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: went and did that. Like is has anything sort of
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: come out that concrete about it yet?
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Not yet?
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Uh. But it's I'm not saying it's not happening. Of course,
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: it's happening and it's going to But.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: And the thing is, even when it starts happening, it's
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: a thing the government can still lie about.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Well, yeah, they'll lie about it. They'll bury the story.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: They'll be like, oh, well someone told us you said this,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: when really, the same software that's targeting you with Cole's
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: ads also is sending us information on your lack of patriotism. Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and we're just pretending someone told us good times. Let's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: talk about something more upbeat. Number three Sandy Hook.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, man, still.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: One of the silliest conspiracies to me, I'll tell you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: what this reminds me of.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: You know what America needs to be convinced that everyone
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: in Sandy Hook was a crisis actor. Well, what's that,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Nancy Grace?
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Oh shit.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: There is as much evidence that Scott Peterson murdered Lacy
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Peterson as there is that Sandy Hook was a false
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: flag operation. But what Sandy Hook doesn't have is Nancy
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Grace on TV every night going why aren't those parents
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: more upset?
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Like.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: It's all circumstantial evidence that makes no sense.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: No, it's all very weird.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: When you watch them like try to get you and
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: they're like but wait, and I'm like, wait, what are
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: you even talking about?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Why isn't that corner more emotional? He's probably in shock.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he's probably pretty fucking upset.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: The worst thing of his entire fucking Connecticut life.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: Like, yeah, one of the worst things you can like
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: you could really see with your eyes as you just saw,
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: you know, like and it happened like four hours ago,
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: and he's got to go talk to five hundred people
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: about it, and a lot of them are like their
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: parents and shit, you know, and I.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Do encourage I Like, I'm not joking bringing up Scott Peterson.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: There's an A and E documentary about the Scott Peterson trial.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Go watch it and tell me if there's any more
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: evidence that he killed her than Sandy Hook being a
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: false flag.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: Interesting, Like, there isn't much about that case, remember it
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: a little.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: But there's no physical evidence. He got convicted because he
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: went fishing the day she went missing. But there are
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: also several witnesses who were like, I saw her walking
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the dog after he left, and if they're right, he
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: didn't do it, Like there's absolutely no And there's like
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: six to eight witnesses who were all like, yep, I
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: saw her walking the dog. Yeah, yeah, So if they're right,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: he didn't do it, and he probably didn't do it.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: But the biggest piece of evidence against him was Nancy
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Grace going on TV every night and being like, why
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: isn't he more sad?
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: Yeah, people react to things different, you know, you have
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: no idea how you'd react, and like he's like, I
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: think he also cleaned his RV and I think of it.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Well. One of the things is there's this allegation that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: he was caught near the border of Mexico in disguise. Huh,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: And what actually happened and is there was so much
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: media scrutiny on him he did change his appearance and
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: go stay in San Diego. Uh, But there's also pictures
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: of him in San Diego in that disguise, still talking
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: to police.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Sure. Yeah, so like they knew it was for his
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: like comfort, it was so he could get away from
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: the media.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: He wasn't trying to hide from the police.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: But ye.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Spun it like, oh, well, now he's changed his identity
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: and he's fleeing to Mexico. And like I'm telling you,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you get a Sandy Hook, you get a Nancy Grace
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: on the case of Sandy Hook parents and a lot
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: of fucking Americans would think the same crazy shit about
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Sandy Hook parents.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and I my fucking I had a tour guide
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: in Ireland who was like, you know when Obama did
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: Sandy Hook so we could take your guns away, and
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: I was like, okay.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: We still have our guns. It didn't even work, you
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like it didn't even sort of work. No,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: we still have all of those.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: If Obama did do Sandy Hook to take our guns
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: and it didn't work, that is one of the funniest outcomes,
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, way to blow it.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: That is a pretty if that's how it went down.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: I mean kind of I mean, horrib the worst thing
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: you could think of, but kind of funny, just cosmically.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Should we get into the last two?
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, the silver medalist, silver metal finish.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I struggled with this.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: That was tough.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: I kind of wanted to make this number one.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: I'm trying to think what number one is if this
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: is number two.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Well, number two is the death of Jeffrey Epstein yep
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: which Yeah, and.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: This one here, this is like I think the thing
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: about this one that's so important, Like it's like this
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: is this is weird.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: It's tied to all this other shit.
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: But it got like three weeks in like the fucking
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: major mainstream news cycle where you kind of couldn't get
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: away from it. Everyone got kind of enough info just
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: it was so obvious and so botched and so fucked up.
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: Everyone was just sort of like, oh, yeah, he didn't
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: kill him, Like nobody thinks he fucking killed himself. You know,
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: almost nobody thinks he fucking killed himself. So it's like
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: the fact that oh, now conspiracy dudes and people think
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: about shit like this. Now that you have that one,
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: you can kind of start there with this a lot
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: of places.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: I think that's somewhat valuable and hopefully, you know, will
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: inspire some kind of conspiracy investigative journalism, truth renaissance, And
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: I think it is in a way. It's done a
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: bit of that, and I think that's encouraging. And people
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: are getting basketball players are talking about it and ship
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: it's out there. It's in the world.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's very, very substantial just because of how
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: much shit is like roped up in it and it's
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: the worst thing you can even think of, and they
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: were doing it forever and all these important people are
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: all tied up and they're all fucking tripping over their
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: big shitty tongues trying to explain themselves.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's pretty awesome. It's it's one I feel
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: like we can't let it go. Like it's bigger than
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: just Jeffrey Epstein trafficking teams.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's way it's really a lot more and that,
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: and that's like, obviously that's fucking horrifying, but that's horrifying,
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: Like it goes deeper somehow.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: And one of the things I make the same point
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: on on Pops this week, it it doesn't have to
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: be one thing, like it can be a thing where, Yes,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: some of those dudes who were at Jeffrey Epstein's sex
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Island were there because they knew they were gonna be
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: underage girls they could have sex with, and they wanted
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: to have sex with underage girls. Yes, sure, but there's
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: also gonna be probably some of those dudes who were
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: drugged and blackmailed, like Jeffrey Epstein wasn't just trafficking teens,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: And admitting that and acknowledging that and looking in that
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: into that further doesn't absolve the dudes involved of their guilt,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Like it can be both of those things. And one
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: of the things that makes me think that even more
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: is that crazy ass Prince Andrew interview that just came
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: out where all of his defenses sound weird. Yeah, and also,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: why do you have to bring up a pizza place?
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: It's like, know your internet demes, dude, It's.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: Like, oh, I told it, Like I say, every company
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: is to have a shit like a shitty fifteen year
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: old on staff to go like he's how I would
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: make a meme of your domb slogan, you know that
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: they need he needed one of those.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, But the detail that really stands out to
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: me is, uh, One, I do think the picture of
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: him and the girl he's accused of sleeping with. I
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: think the picture of them together does look fake.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Uh, but that's that's just my opinion. But his excuse
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: that one he had no recollection of sleeping with her,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: and two his excuse that people really seized on he
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: was like, well, I had a condition at the time
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: that made it so I didn't sweat and she's so weird.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: She said, I was really sweaty, So how could that
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: have been me? I'll tell you how it could have
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: been him if he was drugged, because if you weren't,
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: if you had a condition that made it so you
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: didn't sweat, the one thing that's gonna make you sweat
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: is drugs, is if you're drugged.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: I thought that that just sounded like the weirdest, baddest
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: excuse what I think.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: What I think he's setting up for. Here's what I
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: want to get it out of the way right away.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: I think Prince Andrew fucked that girl. Sure, Yeah, I
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: think I think he had sex with a seventeen year
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: old me too. But I think at some point, if
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: you're powerful enough, and he's powerful enough, sure, if Jeffrey
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Epstein comes to you and says, I have video of
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: you having sex with a seventeen year old, and if
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: you don't do what I say, I'm going to put
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: it out. If you're as powerful as Prince Andrew, you
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: could be like, put it out.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Put it out in Manicoa,
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: you kind of could call the bluff.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Yeah, put it out. Explain why you had a seventeen
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: year old girl at a party? Yeah, you explain how
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: you got her there? Why'd you film it? Why are
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: you blackmailing me to what ends?
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: For who? Yeah?
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Put all that shit out, do it, and you can't
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: know because then Jeffrey Epstein's gonna have to go, Okay,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: the cee IA made do this.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Yeah, Massade, maybe dude whoever did do it?
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so then you put out this bullshit faked picture
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: and go see and his people are like, still not conclude,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: we don't have any memory of it. Maybe you prove
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: that we did it.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: I really show us that tape.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: I'm so fascinated where and if how many of these
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: tapes still exist?
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: Who has them?
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: There's a few poison pill like like there's like that,
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: you know, when you honestly see the good shit is
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: when journalists get murdered and they have poison pill videos
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: that are set to like they give him to a
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: friend and they say, put this out if I get
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: fucking got Like there's one with these little Asian girls
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: filling up a fountain in these weird outfits, and.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: You go, oh god, that's this is like ritualistic. It's
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: very eyes wide shut, it's fucking weird. And yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: I mean there's like a couple of those that are
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: pretty fun.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: Yeah. There they It came out right after he died
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: that they found a bunch of tapes in a safe
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: oh and it.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Was like blank plus name, you know, name plus.
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: Name date you know, And it was just like, oh, okay, yeah,
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: Bill and you know slav number four or whatever, you know.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I've I don't know. I I feel like Prince
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: Andrew was black mailed.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: And I think played hardball about it, yeah.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Because you like, because your instinct is gonna beat a
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: panic and do whatever he wants.
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: But he did thinking like what is what is he
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: really gonna So many people have to do business with
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: them that it's like so awkward. It's like if I
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: just we just gotta gotta, we'll push, we'll sweep, another
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: will cover it up.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: It's so much of a pain in the ass for
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: this to be true.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: And it would ruin Jeffrey Epstein, Yeah, to put that out, Yeah,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: because then no one's gonna fuck with Jeffrey epstin again.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: And then he'd have his back catalog of blackmail. But
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: he wouldn't be able to, you know, work on any
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: new hits.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: And that's what that's what kept him motivated, That's what
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: was would really make him happy was finding new people
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: to exploit and Uh. That was really the lit a
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: fire in him every morning, and it really did, and
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: it inspired him to be creative. So I'm not the
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: Jeff effristein that, I know not. My Jeff wouldn't do that.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: So the death of Jeffrey Epstein that probably until like
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: a week ago, would have been number one on my list.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: Oh wow, But what's number one? The Conormic Spad and
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: Adam Todd Brown podcast beef.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Exactly number one, the return of the flat Earth theory.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: I am convinced now that flat earth is the most
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: insidious conspiracy theory out there right now. Interesting because once
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: you believe, like, there's a documentary me and Olivia Hydar
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: just did an episode where we reviewed this documentary that's
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: on Netflix right now called Behind the Curve. Uh huh,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: and it's a profile of flat earthers.
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: Sure, okay, that sounds interesting.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: And the thing about flat earth conspiracy believers is they're
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: not conspiracy theorists. That's a cult. Oh interesting by the
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: time you believe, because the crux of the flat earth conspiracy,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: it's not that the Earth is flat, it's that all
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: of history and science is a lie. Yeah, So there's
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: literally nothing you can say, to undo what they believe.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: They don't think any they don't believe in truth or
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: objectivities anything.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: I think that space is fake. Isn't that a new one?
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Basis fake?
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: We're in the matrix or something?
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Right. They think our nuclear attacks on Japan were fake.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: They think pretty much all of human technology and advancement
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: was faked to hide the fact that the Earth is flat.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: And when you ask them why, they're like, I don't know,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: to hide the fact that the Earth is flat. And
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: it's like, so you don't even have a point for
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: your conspiracy.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: Is no, like and it was him too, he did it.
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: Let's get him. It's just because there's none of that
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: and there's no villain. What's how's you don't even serve
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: no villain?
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: And it what it does is it undermines again when
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: I was talking about Nazis rounding up intellectuals and academics
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: and scientists and things, it kind of encourages that, like
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: it just encourages a general mistrust of intellectuals and scientists
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: and scientific advance.
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: Well, it's interesting, so you think that it's kind of.
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: Being uh pushed in sort of like to an idiocracy
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: kind of end you know what I mean to sort
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: of like again, one of these things, and I bring
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: it up on the on the show all the time,
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: but that uh, that old definition of fucking propaganda, that
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: which seeks to exhaust critical thinking and annihilate the truth,
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: you know, And it's like, is this part of that?
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: Is that part of that propaganda campaign? You know?
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: And it's it's this thing.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: I think it's all fucking stupid.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: It's it's that kind of thing where we'll laugh at
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: it and treat it like a fringe thing right up
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: until the moment we wake up and it's our government.
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: And it's our neighbor. Yeah, like that we already we did,
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: That's all I remember. Yeah, it's already our neighbor. Yeah
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: that's true. Yeah.
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: Like and we got these people on podcasts and everyone
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: just laughs at like, oh Eddie Bravo so funny, Like,
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: I don't know, it seems like a kind of a
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: destructive thing.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a very destructive thing. And there's already like
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: fifty to one hundred thousand flat earthers in the United States,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: a lot of fucking people, that's what.
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: That's like, more listeners than either of us have, you know,
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: like that's a little scarret.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: And when you dig into that theory, it's not again,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: it's not just flat Earth. But as you peel away
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: the layers, you realize what they're pushing for is this
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: really fundamentalist version of believing in the Bible, where interesting
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: Bible as it's written is how we should be living.
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: So if your neighbors working on Sunday, you fucking murder him?
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Interesting the Bible says, so, so is.
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: That like when you go so that's like level three
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: of like the official flat earth dot com kind of Yeah, the.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: The endgame of flat earth theory is a very fundamentalist
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: version of Christianity.
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: That's so fucking me, And it's okay.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: That's why it feels like one of those things to
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: me that is funny until you wake up in some
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: Handmaid's Tale version of America where they have stormed Congress. Well,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: now we have a flat earth government.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: That sounds like them trying to fucking put the genie
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: back in the box, because it's like there's all this technology,
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: there's Hulu, there's everything. It's like, how the fuck do
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: we get people like, how do we unre adicalize them
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: to all of this exciting great shit and fucking corn
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: syrup and fruke dose, and like, how do we get
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: them to be like pure, you know.
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: Live a biblical life.
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: It's like, well, you got to convince them that everything's
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: a lie and people have been fucking with them and
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: trying to make them look stupid for hundreds of years
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: and they've been falling for it.
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: It's an interesting way to go. It makes sense. Well,
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: it seems like one of the only ways you could
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: maybe even conceivably do anything like that.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: It feels like the same way. In my opinion, I
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: feel like the US government decided to take on conspiracy theories,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: like when the Internet became a thing, they knew all
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: this information was going to get out there. So do
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: we individually fight each thing that comes out, or do
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: we just discredit the idea of conspiracy theories as a whole.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: We take a take a turn in the punch bowl, yeah.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: To where if you believe a conspiracy theory, you're just crazy.
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: Yeah and flatter.
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: Or do we pay a couple of special opst agents
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: to go make a few geo cities page with a
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: lot of bad gifts of under construction with two guys
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: sawing a loading symbol in half, you know.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: And yeah, the flatter feels like the logical extension of
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: that to where Okay, Well, now we've convinced the Internet
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: that anything they hear contrary to the accepted version of events,
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: they'll write that office fake. Now, how do we get
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: the public as a whole to just write off anything
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: we say isn't true?
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: And flat Earth, Like, I'm telling you, if you got
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: a flat earther in your life, you need to have
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: a cult deprogram or kidnap that motherfucker and lock them
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: in a motel room for three days.
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Man, I mean I didn't realize that. I thought that.
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: I thought this was like a troll thing. I thought
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: it was sort of like a well, it's a kind
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: of a post ironic like lifestyle movement, you know.
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: One of the scariest things.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: I thought it was like being a hype beast or
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: something like that.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: One of the scariest things in that documentary. At one point,
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: these two flat earth dudes buy a twenty thousand dollars
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: lasered gyroscope, okay, and they're like, all right, if the
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: Earth is actually round, when we set this gyroscope up
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: every hour there's gonna be like a fifteen degrease sway
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: as the Earth moves, and we feel like it's not
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: gonna do that, and that will prove the Earth is flat.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: And they set the fucking thing up and there's the
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: fifteen degree sway and they're like, oh, we just need
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: to shield it and lead. That's the heaven rays that
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: are impacting it that way. So then they shield it
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: and lead still the fifteen degrees.
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: So well, and like again it's just thinking about how
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: much money they have, like how much is a lead shield?
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: Probably not cheap.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And then they wanted to encase it in bismuth,
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: which is some other fucking things.
- 1:39:35Speaker 2: It's like a rock. Yeah.
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: And then the documentary ends with them trying this other experiment,
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: which is actually it's a smart experiment. It makes sense.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: They're like, we're gonna set up these three pieces of
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: paper with the holes in each one, and they're gonna
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: be there's gonna be one here, one here, and then
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: a third one and if the earth is flat, when
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: we fire that light through the first two holes, it'll
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: go through the third hole at the same high because
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: the Earth's actually flat.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: But these papers are like miles and Miles apart. Is
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: that the idea?
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, And they're like, but if there's a curve
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: that third hole, the light's gonna go above it and
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: it won't even hit that third hole. And they try
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: the experiment in the light doesn't hit the third hole,
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, raise your piece of paper and
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: they raise it and sure enough, when they raise it,
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: the light goes through because the earth isn't flat. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: And then over the end credits. It's just that all
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: these YouTube videos of people going like, well the light
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: was kind of hitting some some weeds, so maybe that's what's.
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: Going and it's like, well this is to give up. Yeah,
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: and it's like what is like I guess there's like,
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: you know, it's funny. It's like whenever I see someone
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: attacking a problem, you almost go like, well, that's sad
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: because that means there's glory and pussy over there, you know,
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: like you're trying to figure this out because it's like
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: in this group there's some level of glory, sad and
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: pussy sadder. That's all weird.
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: That's the only reason anyone does anything really, you know,
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: so uh, I go okay, this is oh god, you're
- 1:41:05Speaker 3: going after the flat earth, the flat earth pussy, the
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: flat earth pussy and glory.
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: That's bad stuff. You know.
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: By the way, there is a woman in that documentary
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: who looks like a young Julianne Moore. Oh okay, a
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: vehement flat earth or that people also accused of being
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: a CIA agent. It's a very fun documentary, probably true. Yeah,
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, with you know.
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: Adam, with what we've learned about CIA agents together through
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: the years, I don't doubt it.
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't doubt it at all. But that's uh, that's
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: our list of the twenty biggest conspiracy theories of the
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: twenty tens.
