Transcript
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: Since it's just me today, we are going to get started more or less on time.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: This is the recording for Thursday, September 24th, 2026.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: And assuming that we live long enough for it to go to air,
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: we have a lot to get to on episode 115 of the Ogpod.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: We ready to do this Ogre Nation?
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Then let's get to it.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: It's time for the Ogre Nation news update.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: For our first main story of the week,
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: the Trump regime's brown shirts are responsible for another shooting
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: on American streets.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: This time it happened in Austin, Texas.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Wilbur Rafael Garcias Perez, 28 years old, was delivering food for And there were also multiple
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: So at least they bothered rendering medical aid this time.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Perez could be heard.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Perez
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: was taken
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: to the hospital, but four hours later, ICE removed him from the medical center.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Sure, that's what you do when someone has a gunshot wound,
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: and took him into ICE custody, because where's he gonna go?
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: According to Perez's attorney,
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: he's now experiencing paralysis on one side of his body,
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: has no pain medication detention, and had to be re-hospitalized, because...
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Why not just leave him in the hospital in the first place under guard?
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: What the fuck?
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Immediately after the shooting,
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Department of Homeland Security did their usual song and dance and released
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: a statement and did their very best to dehumanize the very human being
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: that they shot.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: The agency claimed Perez was an illegal alien who entered the U.S.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: illegally during the Biden administration and said the illegal alien is
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: in stable condition and waiting removal.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: But that's not true.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Perez is a Venezuelan national who's married to a woman who's in the country legally.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: It's not clear what documents he had or had in the past,
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: but I do think it's important to point out that many,
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: and we would go as far as to say, most of the Venezuelans.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Venezuelan migrants who entered during the Biden years were given temporary protected status.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: The Trump regime is the one that threw that out and made them undocumented
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: when Stephen Miller and his Nazi friends stripped the Venezuelans
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: of their protected status.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: This was right around the time the regime was committing war crimes
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: by blowing up fishermen in international waters.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: We're going to get back to that.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: That's not going to go away, and people are going to go to fucking prison for that.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Trump's going to have to pardon them all.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Anyway, Trump made Venezuelans illegal, and now his ice goons are shooting them because of it.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Austin officials are doing all the right things by demanding an investigation
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: and trying to keep the shooter in the state.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: But we've all seen...
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: We've seen this before.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Ken Paxton,
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: the state attorney general,
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: and Governor Greg Abbott will try to protect the shooter.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Republicans,
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: of course,
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: will rally behind ICE,
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: and the Trump regime will do everything possible to hide the agents.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: They're trying to make sure nothing gets done.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: And now Perez is being forced to fight for his life, both literally and figuratively.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: As we've said a hundred times before,
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: and we will say a hundred times more,
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: when this regime falls,
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: and it will,
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: it will be our absolute responsibility to ensure every single one
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: of these fucking people pay for what they have done.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Nuremberg them all.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Now...
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: You should also know by now that Trump has banned CNN,
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Politico, and MSNOW from the White House press pool.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: He did this because it's part of the Project 2025 Fascism for Dummies playbook,
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: but also because Trump is very, very sad.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: They love it.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: They love war, but they also love it when it goes badly.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: But
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Damn, did Trump deliver on the military debacle part.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: So they've been eating that up.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately for Trump,
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: he lives in a bubble where he only hears what his babysitters want him to hear.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: He's literally complained repeatedly about the press not telling the truth about
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: the war in Iran.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: He thought that we were winning because they kept showing him videos of things getting blown up.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Look at the pretty boom boom, sir.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: I made boom-booms too, Natalie.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Of course you did, sir.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: The biggest and strongest boom-boom, sir.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Now, we've lost the war in Iran,
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: and Trump refusing to back down after seven months of losing has led to gas closing
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: in on Iran.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: So Trump wants to press
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: And he's trying to make it all go away like every little dictator.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Who gives a fuck about the First Amendment?
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Free speech,
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: freedom of the press,
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: not Trump and definitely not his party of constitutional free speech champions.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: After crying big sobby tears for years over social media censorship
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: because they were penalized for spewing hate speech,
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: the entire right wing is on board with literal government censorship.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: And hilariously,
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: because I do this to myself constantly,
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: I went on Twitter to see how angry Matt Taibbi and Glenn Greenwald were about this
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: as the greatest offenders of the free press in all of the world.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: They who have raged at government evil censorship of the Biden administration in the year 2020.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: This was several months before Joe Biden was president.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: You will be happy to know that both...
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Taibbi and Greenwald have leapt to defense of the First Amendment
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: by exercising theirs and not saying one single fucking word
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: about what Trump is doing.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Jesus fucking Christ, has anyone done more to uphold the Constitution more than these two?
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: What heroes they are.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Now, Trump has just banned the media and his little henchman, J.D.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Vance, aka Captain Couchfucker himself,
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: and the man who's going to lose the 2028 election,
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: ha ha ha, He defended the decision Trump was told to make because Trump didn't.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't know.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: He might have.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Trump does these things without actually talking to anybody
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: because he just has like brain farts and then he blurt something out and
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: then everyone goes, oh, wow, what a smart idea, sir.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: But.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: He stated that if media outlets,
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: JD Vance,
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: were going to publish leftist propaganda,
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: then why should they have access to the White House?
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: Of course, they should be publishing right-wing propaganda.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Now, JD Vance has a We all know he knows better,
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: but he's just a windsock at this point,
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: doing whatever he's told so he gets his shot at the Oval Office.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: He's such a pathetic loser.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Now, there are a few levels of hilarious to this.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: First,
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: all the time and effort the press put into kissing Trump's ass and sane-watching him
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: for the last decade got them nothing.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: The leopards are still happily eating their faces.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: The media worked so hard to get Trump reelected,
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: and now they're crying foul after being frozen out by their golden ratings.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: I was wondering if the press would stand up to this.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: Or just continued to cower.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: But this appears to be a line they just cannot accept.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: The major networks all walked out.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: And now Trump has no one to put a microphone in front of him, which is really funny.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: And this led to the second level of hilarious.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: And the amazing scene of Newsmax trying to cover a ribbon cutting ceremony at
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: the White House with no sound.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: If you haven't seen the video of that, it is fucking hilarious.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Anyway, Trump hates it.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: The White
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: House turned on Trump TV,
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: which is a really badly produced YouTube channel, but no one's watching it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: Can you believe there's no appetite for literal state-run TV in America?
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: It's so weird.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: It's like we're not Russia or North Korea or something.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: Now, one last note about this.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Some of us are old enough to remember when Obama wanted to ban Fox News and
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: the right lost its fucking mind.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Fox News is actual propaganda.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: They were They sued and lost almost a billion dollars for lying to the public about
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: the 2020 election.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Lying aggressively, not just one or two lies, weeks and weeks of lying about it.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: They're still in the middle of another massive lawsuit over there.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: Right-wing propaganda.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: I
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: was a little surprised Fox returned the favor, but because they walked out too.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: If you think about it, though, they had to.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: They know the regime is doomed and dying.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: If they cheered Trump kicking legitimate news organizations out,
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: even Politico,
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: and there's a Democrat in the White House come 2029,
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: which there's going to be,
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: Fox News is going to be first on the cutting block and along with News Nation
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: and OAN and that's it.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: They're just all the right wing media is going to be gone.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: So they they had to stand in solidarity with the other news networks.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: So I get it.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: It makes sense.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Now, before we move on to our next section,
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: if you would like to throw The Opinionated Ogre podcast a small tip,
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: your QR codes are right there on the screen for both PayPal and Venmo.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Florida woman ran.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Chance and I do not have sponsors or advertisers, and we probably never will.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: Apparently, I'm too controversial.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Who cares?
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: But we do have college students, and they cost a lot of money.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: So anything you can send us would be super appreciated.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: Let us move on to our next section.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: We are living in the stupidest timeline.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: What you just said.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And, oh boy, is that true.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: The Maha morons,
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: make America healthy again,
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: have spent years losing their shit over America's water supply.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: you don't hear them expressing any concern about old pipes that are leaching lead
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: into the water supply of minority communities across the country.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: That's not a big deal.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Who cares if little brown kids are poisoned?
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: The real problem is the That is a big fucking emergency.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: Secretary Whale Juice applauded EPA administration's
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: I have fought unsuccessfully to get the EPA to conduct this kind of comprehensive testing.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: Thanks to Administrator Zeldin's courage and President Trump's bold maha administration.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: We are finally getting it done.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: EPA is going to search for pharmaceuticals, PFAs,
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: and other contaminants that have gone undetected and give Americans the truth
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: about what is in their water.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: The conspiracy theory is that abortion medications and birth control are tainting
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: the water supply.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: And this whole thing is decades old.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: The Mahaloons believe that the drugs stay in the water supply after leaving the body
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: and cause infertility.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: And there's no scientific evidence to support this.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: None.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: None.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: The new study,
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: and this should tell you everything you need to know,
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: won't test for levels of the medication, just whether they are present.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: According to the U.S.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: Geological Survey study that's now been removed from the sites,
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: you would need to drink thousands of liters of raw sewage to extract
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: a single therapeutic dose of medication.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: And I was wondering, would that be the raw sewage that RFK Jr. likes to swim in?
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Remember, this stuff, you know, the water that goes down the toilet, right?
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: Because they're talking about you take these drugs and then you pee out.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: You go to the bathroom, you pee, and some of this stuff comes out of your system.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: They're talking about that's the stuff that goes into the water supply,
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: but you don't drink that.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: That water gets processed through water.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, if you test the sewage water...
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: You'll find stuff in it.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: It's going to be a whole lot less if you test the drinking water.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: But we'll see what they actually test.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: Now, it's also interesting that the EPA is testing for hormones,
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: especially considering they're going to have no idea whether
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: the testosterone presence is from trans people or from Pete Hegg's test,
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: soon to be roided out military.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: But seriously,
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: all kidding aside,
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Millions of people, men and women, need hormone therapy to live healthy lives.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: And it's important to understand how selective they're going to be here.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Carcinogens?
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: Who cares about that?
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Toxic runoff from coal mines in And fracking, that's not important.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: One part per million of hormones, that's a huge fucking emergency.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: And now we have to ban all forms of contraceptives and care
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: for trans people immediately in order to save the entire human race.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: It's All going to be bullshit.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: They'll produce a study showing hormones in the water,
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: and they're definitely not going to tell us how much.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: They'll say that it's having widespread negative health impacts,
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: but sorry, we can't show you the proof of that.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: National Security.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: You just have to trust us.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: It's for the best, really.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: We're just going to pull all these drugs from the market until we can study
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: the long-term impact on the water supply, and then everything will be fine.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: By the way,
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: the study,
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: we're just going to have that conducted by the Heritage Foundation and
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: the Family Research Council.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: It's all going to be fine.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: Trust us.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: We're the government.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: We're here to help.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: So yeah, definitely fuck these people.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Like Morgan, MX says, fuck these people.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Nuremberg at the mall.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: All right, let's move on to something a little bit lighter.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Florida woman is not here for this,
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: but I'm going to read it anyway because it's right in her wheelhouse.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: The Buffalo Bills had their home opener last Thursday in their new stadium.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: This is not going to be It just happens to be that stupidity this week was related
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: to the Buffalo Bills.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: it all started when the team decided to play the Canadian National Anthem before
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: the game on Thursday.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: This was something they don't normally do,
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: although other New York State, up like Northern New York State, teams do this.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: Northern hockey teams and whatever.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: They do this.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: The Bills haven't done this before, but they did it.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: The bare naked ladies performed it and everything was great.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: The crowd loved it.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: The fans were happy.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: The team finally decided to pay And I'll see you next time.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: They come over, they come over every time they're playing 50, like 15, at least 15%.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: I'm a little surprised they didn't do this earlier.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: But anyway, all the
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Other professional teams up in that area play the Canadian National Anthem.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: So this is nothing new for Buffalo sports fans.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: And now I don't pay attention to any of this, obviously, but Florida woman watches the game.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: So she didn't realize that MAGA was losing their fucking mind over it until I told her about it.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: When the song was performed,
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: she thought they might freak out,
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: but she didn't see anything about it because she's on social media about buffaloes,
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: blah, blah, blah.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: And she didn't see anything in her bubble, and she forgot about it.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: But MAGA had not.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: They've got their panties in a twist all over about it.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: Outkick content creator John Root whined on Twitter about it saying...
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: Singing the Canadian National Anthem at the Buffalo Bills opening was a mistake.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: There's zero reason to honor a foreign country when a Canadian team is not involved
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: in this game
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: whatsoever.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: This was an idiotic decision.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: He even went on to write a whole fucking op-ed over at Fox about it.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: There is a lot more remarks like that online.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: The Buffalo Bills front office,
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: however,
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: is unbothered by the outrage and has pointed out that Southern Ontario is critical
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: to the success of their team.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: More importantly, Bills fans don't give a flying fuck about MAGA outrage.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: They only care about supporting our Canadian friends and winning a Super Bowl,
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: which they probably won't.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Oh well, but fuck Trump and go Broncos.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, go Bills.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Anyway, Florida woman's probably turning bright red right now.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I know you're not feeling well.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: I should stop picking on you.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: Let us move on to Headlines
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: for Short Attention Spans.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: About five years ago, I enrolled Anastasia and Lila in self-defense courses.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Lila stuck with it for a little over a year.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Anastasia moved on, and then I couldn't get her to go back.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: It's not so much she lost interest.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: She just got busy with a lot of other stuff.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: Couldn't get her to go back.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: She really liked it.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Just couldn't get her to go back.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: Anastasia, however, moves on to regular karate classes and now is a yellow belt.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: So she's quite happy with this.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: And the explicit reason I got them into self-defense is
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: that they would both be heading to college, which is where Lila is right now.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: And We're getting her pepper spray.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: She doesn't have self-defense, but she's going to have pepper spray.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: When I went to college 35 years ago, it was not safe for women.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: It is significantly less safe now,
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: which brings us to this story,
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: which You know,
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: trigger warning,
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: gang rape at Cornell University where this was the late 2024 where a woman got drunk
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: and then a bunch of frat boys forced her to take drugs so they could abuse her
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: the entire night into the next day.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: They literally put out a text to their friends to come over.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Amazingly, none of the seven rapists were arrested.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: Cornell suspended them, and the frat was temporarily suspended, but no arrests.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Even more fucking insane, it appears that Cornell at least...
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: The school newspaper lost its shit.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: As they well should have,
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: and named all seven,
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: which Cornell refused to do,
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: and demanded to know why they were back on campus,
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: which put everyone else, every woman at least, at risk.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm not going I'm going to name them because I have to assume that mummy
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: and dedums are rich and probably litigious because poor rapists go to jail
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: and they don't get allowed back on campus.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: But I will be putting the link in the show notes so you can look it up.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: This is the definition of rape culture.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Institutions are more concerned with protecting their image and the poor,
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: fragile futures of rapists.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: And this is why Anastasia
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: is a yellow belt and why Lila is getting pepper spray.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: The left is hardly blameless in this,
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: but the right has made rape culture so much fucking worse in the last decade.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: And it's getting worse every single fucking year.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: So there you go.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: Something to look forward to.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: Yay.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Our next story.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Former U.S.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Senator Sherrod Brown is running to win his former seat back in Ohio, and he's doing quite well.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: And this is really
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: So a major cryptocurrency super PAC,
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: Fair Shake,
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: has just dumped $30 million into the race to try and keep it in Republican control.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: The former lawmaker has long been a skeptic Which ultimately led to
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: the industry spending millions to beat him in 2024 and putting Bernie Moreno,
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: who is a friend of crypto, into that seat.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: The Republican windfall in Ohio comes as Democrats and a handful
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: of Republicans blocked the Clarity Act in the Senate last week.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: The bill would have made the industry legitimate by creating
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: a long-sought federal regulatory framework and allowed the industry
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: to more freely steal money from America.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: The crypto industry has been pouring hundreds of millions of dollars
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: into our elections,
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: partly in order to get rid of people that do not support them,
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: but also to send a message to the Politicians who are on the fence in both parties.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: If you oppose us, we will destroy you.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: So that's something to look forward to.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: We have to absolutely annihilate these people.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: Crypto is a scam.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: They offer nothing except ruin for regular Americans.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: It's great for rich people in order to steal more money from the rest of us.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: So they have to be regulated out of existence.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Now, the regime
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: just kicked 750,000 people off of their Obamacare plans without notice.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: The filthy liars said they were engaged in fraud, but we all know that's bullshit.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Republicans have been trying to kill the ACA from the beginning,
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: and the less people that are enrolled, the more expensive it is for everyone else.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: They've been trying to push it into a Death spiral for almost 20 years now.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: 24 million people enrolled and they hate that.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Republicans hate it.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: So they're doing everything possible to break the very popular program
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: that has saved hundreds of thousands of lives.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Did they provide evidence of fraud?
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: No.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: They'll just have a handful of cases and pretend it's proof
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: of widespread abuse like they always do.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: Who needs evidence when most of the people they're kicking off can't afford to sue anyway?
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: The GOP is a fucking death cult.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: This will kill people.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: It's guaranteed.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: They're just getting started.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: They have two more years to murder Obamacare, and they're going to go for it.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: Meanwhile, Air Force Major Jason Watson wore his uniform.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: You should remember this story from a couple of months ago,
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: wore his uniform on He went on the steps of the U.S.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: Capitol in July and demanded lawmakers impeach Trump and Pence.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: He cited the military involvement in Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela as just some of the reasons why.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: He also spoke out against the two during a CNN interview in August, and it indicated.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: The
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: Trump regime retaliated against a 17-year veteran by charging him
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: with three articles on the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: These charges are Article 92, dereliction duty.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Article 133, conduct unbecoming an officer.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: And Article 88, contempt towards officials.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: He has been held in solitary confinement since being charged,
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: which completely unnecessary,
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: but cruelty for cruelty's sake is just who these people are.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: During a hearing this week, Watson said he has, quote, no expectation to continue to serve.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: He's now awaiting court martial.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: Now, while the military's argued its actions are not partisan,
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: Watson's attorneys point out that
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: when former Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller criticized Biden's Afghanistan
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: was rural, he received a slap on the wrist.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: Instead of being court-martialed,
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: he was given a punitive letter of reprimand and forfeited $5,000 of one month's pay.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: Scheller is currently serving as a senior advisor to Pete Hegseth in the Pentagon.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Republicans are not held to a lower standard.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: They're held to no standard at all.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: They're rewarded.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: They're rewarded for doing the things that we are put in jail for.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: So.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: That's America.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Speaking of Pete Hegseth,
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: after being mocked into oblivion back in July,
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Hegseth,
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: the DEI,
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: didn't earn it,
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: Secretary of Defense,
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: is now moving forward with mandatory testosterone screening for bloodshed.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Just to be clear, the whole low-T obsession of the right is not based in reality.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: It's part of their obsession with masculinity and manliness because fascism is
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Fascists are so fucking pathetic.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: They have to constantly swing their dicks around to prove how friendly they are.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Because if they don't, everyone will see just how pathetic and crazy they are.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Not even everything about them really is.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: The U.S. military used to be the most respected and feared fighting force in the world.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: It took Trump and Hexeth less than two years to make it a laughingstock.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: And it really is heartbreaking.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: It's hard to imagine that either of them would do anything differently
- 28:17SPEAKER_01: if they were actual Russian spies being paid out the open to weaken this country.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: Could we tell the difference if they were?
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: I doubt it.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: What could they possibly be doing different if they were literally,
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: if their names were Boris and Natasha,
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: what would they be doing different right now to make America weaker and help Russia?
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: I don't know what else they could possibly do.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: These fucking people.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: But good news,
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: because of their absolute fucking incompetence,
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: the Senate map appears to be expanding.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: This is from The Hill.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Polls show close Senate rates in Maine, Ohio, Iowa, Texas, and Alaska.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: And the Democratic candidate is pulling away in North Carolina.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: One GOP senator said internal polls show the Kansas, Kansas, and Nebraska- Nebraska!
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: Senate races are very close, and the overall environment is bad for Republicans.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: A Republican senator that the Hill declined to name also said, quote,
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: Although Kansas and Nebraska are still leaning red,
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: the fact that we're even discussing them as a possibility shows change.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: This is how much trouble they're in.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: Nate Silver, we all
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: That's the guy who fell down the aggrieved white boy rabbit hole.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: He, that guy,
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: he's bitching about other forecast models,
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: not because they're leaning too far to the left,
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: but because their predictions for a blue wave.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: I haven't quoted Nate Silver in years because he's been so far up the Republicans' ass.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Anyway, anyway.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: In Flipper's view, Flipper is the name of his forecast model and stuff.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: It is no longer accurate to describe the battle for the U.S. Senate as a toss-up.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: In our terminology, that designation covers all races where neither party has more than a 60%.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: But Democrat Senate chances are now between 63% and 69% in all three versions
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: of Flipper, etc., etc.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: On top of that, fascism heckler, that's one of the newsletters I read, I like him.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: You should read him.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: Their own biased polls show them losing.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: And this is where I remind you yet again,
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: gas prices are still going up and the price of diesel is in a death spiral.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: Inflation on literally 80%.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: We're no longer seeing questions about whether or not there's going to be a blue wave.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: That's an accepted reality of it.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: We're seeing fewer and fewer questions about whether or not Republicans are going
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: to hold on to the Senate.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: We're seeing questions about how many seats they're going to lose in the Senate and
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: the House and state legislatures.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: Is it going to be a lot?
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: A metric shit ton?
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: Will this top 2018 and say new high watermark for ass beatings this century?
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: But here's the question I've been seeing pop up in the last week,
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: and you're going to start seeing it too if you haven't already.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: This is the question that they're starting to ask as the noose draws tight
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: as Republicans march off to their execution.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Trump put himself on the ballot.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: He made this election all about him.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: Worst midterm curb stomping since the 1900s.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I said it.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: We're all old.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: What's going to be left of Trump afterwards?
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Will the GOP still be slavishly devoted to the man who caused them control
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: of Congress and Governor's mansions and state legislatures and school boards
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: and just literally hundreds and hundreds of seats all across the country.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: Will congressional Republicans give a flying fuck about anything he says after this?
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Will they even allow him to finish his term?
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: Would it be better to impeach him and let J.D.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Vance be president for a few years?
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Hopefully won't.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: Trump is a loser and he will cost the GOP everything if he's allowed to stay
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: in power for another two years.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: Republicans have,
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: these are the questions that I've started seeing,
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: and they're going to be louder in the next six weeks.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Republicans have some tough choices ahead of them.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: They had tough choices to make in 2016 and again in 2020 after the insurrection
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: or 2021,
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: but they're too fucking cowardly to make the tough decisions to save themselves.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: So going to be a rough election night for the GOP and everything that happens after
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: that, they deserve power.
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: All of it.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: Every second of misery and despair and hopelessness.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: Fuck fascism and fuck fascists.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: We're going to wrap this up with self-care of the week for our woman's not here.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: So she gets an No self-care.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: Her self-care is laying in bed and drinking hot tea because she feels terrible.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: I, on the other hand, have quite the busy weekend lined up.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: At some point on like Friday or Saturday morning, I'm going to go to bed.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: I'm going to meet up with Dana from the Daily Whatever.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: We're going to have breakfast because she's going to be in my neck of the woods from
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: the West Coast, which will be awesome.
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: Saturday night, I'm going to the Gorillaz concert with Claudia.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: Lila is going to be there.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: She's bringing a friend,
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: but they're going to be She was complaining about paying for the train to come up
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: because she can't find a job down there in Richmond.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: None of her friends can.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: There's just no one's hiring, which is not great.
- 35:09SPEAKER_01: But I've been sending her money every two weeks and she was kind of,
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: She wasn't sure if I should be doing that and she's going to get a job.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: And I was like, girl, trust me, you don't want to be a broke-ass college student.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: Been there, done that.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: It's not fun.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: So she appreciates the money and God does she need it because there's no jobs to be had.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: So they still want to go out and do stuff every now and then.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: Even getting a cup of coffee, you need money.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: We'll be seeing her this weekend.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: Sunday, I'm taking my D&D group and we're going to the Maryland Renaissance Fair.
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: We did that last year for the first time because none of the girls had been there before.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: I haven't taken Anastasia since she was like five, six years old.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: She loves me.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: She loves the Renaissance Fair.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: None of her friends had been to the Renaissance Fair.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: So we took them all last year and they thought it was the greatest thing ever.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: So they're all going dressed up this year.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Not necessarily in Renaissance costumes, like Anastasia's going as Ladybug.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: And one of her friends is going as whoever the boy is from that show.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: But whatever.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: This past Saturday,
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: I took Anastasia and one of her friends to go see Transformers movie,
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: the 40th anniversary, which was awesome to see on the big screen.
- 36:39SPEAKER_01: After 40 years, I was very excited.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: She was like, okay, that was interesting.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: Her friend is a huge Transformers fan though.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: So she was like absolutely ecstatic watching it.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: She had not seen this one before.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: So when she was watching all the guy characters die and this, that,
- 36:56SPEAKER_01: and the other, she was just like, oh my God, I can't believe that blah, blah.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: It was just like, yeah, that was pretty much my reaction when I was 13.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: So it was fun.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: Otherwise,
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: I've been spending most of my time with the recovering Mrs. Ogre,
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: who's not sleeping well,
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: but she got her cervical drains out, so she should be sleeping much better tonight.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Right, Mrs. Ogre?
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: So, yep.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: And that's where we are.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: Everything's hunky-dory.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: And we are going to wrap up this week's show now.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: That is it for today's show.

- 38:23SPEAKER_01: November 3rd, 2026, just 42, the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: 42 days until we stormed the beaches and stomped the Nazis into the dirt.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: They cannot stop us.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: Remember, you are never alone.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: We beat the fascists once and we will fucking do it again.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: Adios.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: See you guys next week.
