- 0:38Music.
- 0:48She's a happy girl.
- 1:03God knows all things. Nothing is hid from Him, nor is anything too difficult for His understanding.
- 1:11He has no new thoughts because He knows everything.
- 1:15There are no mysteries or surprises with God.
- 1:18There are no coincidences. He isn't confused by anything, and He isn't at the
- 1:23mercy of chance, anyone, or anything.
- 1:26He is God, and He is in control. Join us in this program, He Knows All,
- 1:32as Kim Miller of Woman at the Well Ministries takes us through Daniel 2.22,
- 1:36which says, He revealeth the deep and secret things.
- 1:40He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.
- 1:45Hello, and welcome to this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries.
- 1:49And for many, this verse can be very frightening because somehow or another,
- 1:57you think that you're keeping that hidden sin from God.
- 2:03Your closest family member doesn't know about it.
- 2:06Your co-workers have no idea about it. Your friends don't know it.
- 2:11And you think you've done a good job of keeping whatever that secret sin is
- 2:15away from God. But that is just a lie of the devil.
- 2:23Because I imagine that if you are that person who is harboring what you think
- 2:27is that secret sin, that you live with a fear that at some point it's going to come out.
- 2:33You're concerned that when your friends do find out about it,
- 2:36that they're going to forsake you.
- 2:38And that if your family members would ever know about it, you'd be ashamed and
- 2:45you would be frightened.
- 2:47You see, basically what you have done is you've deceived yourself and you've
- 2:52allowed the devil now to have a very huge weapon against you.
- 2:57Because he constantly is bringing it to your mind.
- 3:01He's constantly beating you up with it.
- 3:05He's not telling you that if we confess our sins, that God is faithful and just
- 3:09to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 3:14He's not saying that with every temptation, God has given us a way of escape.
- 3:19He's not saying that in the midst of the absolute darkness around you,
- 3:26that if you call upon the name of the Lord, he will save you.
- 3:32He's not telling you that God doesn't expect you to be perfect,
- 3:36but God expects you to love him, to follow him, and to depend on him.
- 3:43And I promise you that the power of God and the love of God is greater than
- 3:49any sin you may be harboring.
- 3:51And so if you're listening to this message right now and you feel that you're
- 3:57hiding something, I want you to know that your worst nightmare has just come true.
- 4:03Really, you're not hiding it.
- 4:07God already knows. If you'll just let your mind go to John chapter four,
- 4:15where Jesus is sitting on the well and the woman comes to him and she comes
- 4:21in a time when she doesn't think there'll be anybody there because she's got
- 4:26a secret she doesn't want anyone to know about.
- 4:30And she's living a life that she feels others are judging her. I no doubt they are.
- 4:38And so when she comes to the well, she has a conversation with Jesus.
- 4:44And Jesus tells her about the man she's living with and how he is not her husband.
- 4:52And he doesn't tell her that to condemn her.
- 4:55But he speaks that to her to let her know, I know who you are.
- 5:00And I love you anyway.
- 5:03I know who you are. And I still have come to where you are.
- 5:09That you may have the opportunity to come to where I am. Did you hear me?
- 5:16If you're listening to this message right now.
- 5:19And you're harboring something within your heart and mind.
- 5:24That you feel would just end all things if the world found out about it.
- 5:29Or if those around you, I want you to know they probably know,
- 5:33but Jesus knows and he's meeting you right where you are right now that you may come to where he is.
- 5:40And all he asks is that you confess and to take up your cross and follow him.
- 5:45There are some who are reading this verse and they're in the midst of a trial
- 5:51or storm and you're trying to find the comfort that your heart so longingly wants.
- 5:59And as we read that he says he revealeth the deep and secret things,
- 6:04he know what is in the darkness and the light dwelleth in him.
- 6:08We see right there that you might be in the midst of the storm,
- 6:12but he knows all about it.
- 6:15And you may not be able to see your way about, but he not only can see your
- 6:22way about and out, he is the way.
- 6:25In John chapter 14, he says, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
- 6:30And no man cometh unto the Father but by me. He is the way.
- 6:35He knows the way. That darkness that you're sitting in right now because of
- 6:41some event or something that has happened in your life. Maybe you're having a financial crisis.
- 6:47Maybe you're having a relationship crisis.
- 6:50Maybe you're just having a crisis of faith.
- 6:52Whatever it is in that dark moment right there, he is the light and he is shining
- 6:59on you if you but reach out and ask.
- 7:02How do I know that? When Peter was in the boat and he looked out across the
- 7:09sea, he looked and he saw a figure out there.
- 7:12And he said lord if that be you bid me
- 7:15come and jesus said come so
- 7:18in the midst of that dark storm in the midst of that trouble.
- 7:21In the midst of that problem jesus was already there
- 7:25and peter couldn't recognize him though he had walked and
- 7:27talked with him and so when he says come
- 7:30peter walks as he keeps his eye on jesus and
- 7:34then suddenly there is some sort of realization to look around and get his eyes
- 7:40off of jesus and he falls into the deep now i would like to look at this verse
- 7:46for a moment and i would like you to realize he says he revealeth the deep and secret things,
- 7:52and he knoweth what's in the darkness now in the midst of a storm in the nights.
- 7:58As Peter falls into a deep sea, I would have to submit to you that there was
- 8:03nothing but darkness there.
- 8:06And I highly doubt that Peter could see anything. And I guess he was topsy-turvy in those waves.
- 8:14He didn't know up from down, left from right, and he couldn't probably see his
- 8:18fingers in front of his face.
- 8:20But when he goes down he reaches
- 8:23his arms up and he says lord save me
- 8:27as he bobs up on the way in the midst of the dark but jesus was there and he
- 8:34was the light and he could see jesus for who jesus was and the scripture says
- 8:39that immediately he reached down and he picked him up and he safely brought him to the boat.
- 8:47I don't know what your darkness is right now, but I know where your light is.
- 8:52And your light is in Jesus.
- 8:54And your light is standing in front of you, showing you the way to him,
- 8:59that you might grasp onto his truth.
- 9:02And you might have a relationship with him that
- 9:06will give you that peace and that joy that
- 9:10your heart is longing for and then
- 9:12as i read this verse in daniel it
- 9:16says he revealeth the deep and secret things it reminds me of what the holy
- 9:22spirit does in me as i begin to study the word in second timothy 2 15 it says
- 9:29to study to show thyself approved a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly
- 9:34dividing the word of truth,
- 9:36the scripture tells me that I am to study and
- 9:40just like you as I begin to read sometimes I
- 9:43seem to be confused sometimes it's hard to get it all together but I stop instantaneously
- 9:52and I begin to pray to the Lord to help me understand what I've just read and
- 9:58there's a clarity that comes to my mind.
- 10:01And the Lord begins to reveal to me what we would have me to know in that passage.
- 10:06And then there are those moments when I've read the same passage literally hundreds of times in my life.
- 10:13But at that very moment, something from that passage jumps off the page and
- 10:19grasps my heart and changes my life.
- 10:23Because at that moment and at that time, that's what I needed to hear to be
- 10:28able to understand who God is.
- 10:30To be able to know who he is and to
- 10:32be able to believe in him just as he implores
- 10:36me to do in Isaiah 43.10 when
- 10:39he calls me his witness and he tells me that I'm
- 10:41his servant who is chosen that I may know and believe and to understand that
- 10:46I am he before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me he
- 10:52knows it all and he's willing to let me know it that I might live the abundant
- 10:57life that he came that I might have.
- 11:00And when I see this in Daniel chapter 2, verse 22,
- 11:04my heart leaps with joy because I know and I am persuaded that I trust in the
- 11:12God that he will never fail.
- 11:14And I am persuaded that that which I have committed unto him,
- 11:18he'll keep until that day.
- 11:20And if I go through the darkness, he's my best friend. He'll never leave me
- 11:24nor forsake me and he will reveal the light and he will put me back on the right path.
- 11:30And when I don't understand his ways, he'll speak to me because he says,
- 11:34call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.
- 11:38And when I'm lonely, he covers me with his love because greater love hath no
- 11:43man than this than a man would lay down his life for his friends.
- 11:47He knows it all and he knows me.
- 11:51He knows it all and he allows me to know him.
- 11:57He knows my good parts, my bad parts, and all the parts in between. And he still died for me.
- 12:05He knows my failings, and he knows my shortcomings, and he knows the things that I can do.
- 12:11And he did it all for me.
- 12:15Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. It's a promise that I can stand on.
- 12:23And he reveals to me those things that I need to know.
- 12:26The things that I don't understand when I look through eyes of faith, it's all okay.
- 12:33For all things work together for the good to them that love the Lord and are
- 12:36called according to its purpose.
