- 2:45Sunny mornings send you. In local news, union
- 2:51members in Massachusetts, along with a director
- 2:53of a local nonprofit, have filed a lawsuit to
- 2:57block a proposed ballot question that would lower
- 2:59the state's income tax from appearing before
- 3:02voters in the November election. The challenge
- 3:05claims that the summary from Attorney General
- 3:07Andrea Campbell's office is misleading and fails
- 3:11to inform voters about the impact on long -term
- 3:14capital gains tax rates. Some criticize the measure
- 3:18as benefiting the wealthy, while supporters argue
- 3:21it will help working families by putting back
- 3:23an average of $1 ,300. Opponents of the ballot
- 3:28question warn it could lead to significant budget
- 3:30cuts, with state revenue officials estimating
- 3:34a loss of $5 billion annually if approved. Now
- 3:42on to sports. The Seattle Seahawks are expected
- 3:47to be put up for sale after Super Bowl 60. Two
- 3:50league sources confirmed this weekend. The Seahawks
- 3:54will face the New England Patriots in the Super
- 3:56Bowl on February 8th in Santa Clara, California,
- 4:00seeking their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise
- 4:03history. Jodie Allen became the controlling owner
- 4:06in 2018 after her brother, Paul Allen, passed
- 4:10away. The estate stated that the team is not
- 4:14for sale. but noted that plans will change eventually.
- 4:18The Seahawks are valued at $6 .6 billion, according
- 4:22to Sportico. The team's sale, however, may not
- 4:25be a distraction as they prepare for the big
- 4:28game. In local sports, the Celtics delivered
- 4:33a dominant performance against the Bucks, winning
- 4:35by 28 points with a final score of 107 -79. Jalen

- 4:46while Anfernee Simons contributed 27 points off
- 4:49the bench. Derek White added 17 points and eight
- 4:53assists as the Seas secured their second consecutive
- 4:57win. With trade rumors surrounding Giannis and
- 5:00Ted Acampo, the Bucks struggled, suffering their
- 5:03fifth straight loss. Next up, the Celtics will
- 5:07travel to Dallas on Tuesday, looking to keep
- 5:09the momentum going. In top news, Blue Origin
- 5:15has paused its New Shepard program for two years,
- 5:20likely signaling a permanent end to its suborbital
- 5:23space tourism initiative. Since April 2015, the
- 5:27small rocket and capsule have completed 38 launches,
- 5:31with 36 successful landings. The program flew
- 5:3598 people to space and launched over 200 scientific
- 5:39payloads. Chief Executive Dave Limp stated that
- 5:43the company will redirect resources toward lunar
- 5:45capabilities, enhancing its role in the nation's
- 5:48goal of returning to the moon. Ending New Shepard

- 8:00cars, will be discontinued. While Tesla does
- 8:04not specify sales figures, earnings indicate
- 8:07that demand has been declining for years. Musk
- 8:10described this decision as an honorable discharge
- 8:13for the vehicles, which will cease production
- 8:16next quarter. In 2025, Tesla sold 50 ,850 units
- 8:22in the Other Models category, accounting for
