- 0:00The biggest day in the history of the universe, even for
- 0:04precious metals, the silver price and gold price.
- 0:06The Election Day has arrived. We're going to talk about what
- 0:10it means for the price of gold and silver in this video, but I
- 0:16also want to give you a little sneak peek and primer because
- 0:19later we're going to talk about gold, a period of time when it
- 0:23went up 78 * 7800% and why unarguably the setup that we're
- 0:33in right now is even more favorable for even more extreme
- 0:38price increases in gold and silver.
- 0:41We're going to talk about all of that right now.
- 0:43Thank you for being here. Thank you for being part of the
- 0:45basement. Please subscribe to the channel,
- 0:48give the video a thumbs up, and super chats and super thanks are
- 0:51always super appreciated. I missed the Super chat
- 0:54yesterday from our good friend Cliff Moberg.
- 0:57So thank you Mr. Cliff for the Super chat.
- 1:00And he brought up an idea of maybe having some 10 oz Ron's
- 1:04basement silver bars made-up and some people thought that was a
- 1:08good idea. Let me know what you guys think
- 1:10on that. Maybe I can talk to the guys at
- 1:12Pembacs and see how we might be able to facilitate that.
- 1:16But thank you, Cliff, as always for your insights and your
- 1:19contributions to the channel. Now let's talk about the big
- 1:22election. What does it mean?
- 1:24Hello, Don Howe, good to see you my friend.
- 1:27Thank you for the Super chat. I'm doing some off site.
- 1:30We have a family event that we're at, so it's a little
- 1:33harder for me to see everything that's going on, but I'll
- 1:36promise guys, I'll do my best. But let's talk about the
- 1:38election. What does it mean for the silver
- 1:41price and gold price? I found this very, very
- 1:44interesting because everybody's talking about, I mean, the next
- 1:4824 hours could be crazy in silver and gold.
- 1:52What I told you was the one thing we can say for certain
- 1:55that's going to happen over the next 24 to 36 hours, maybe even
- 2:00longer, is uncertainty. Nobody can tell you, but the
- 2:05World Gold Council did some some investigative work and came out
- 2:09with some interesting data about gold and silver price after the
- 2:14election. They did.
- 2:15They did a study starting in 1972 and found that gold and
- 2:22silver do not really react to whether it's a Democrat or a
- 2:26Republican. No big definitive difference
- 2:30depending on which party comes to power on the silver and gold
- 2:34price. So are things different now?
- 2:37Sure, right. This is one of the most
- 2:39contentious elections that we've ever been through.
- 2:42But you know, there's something else major that's different
- 2:45going on right now, and that is the financial situation that
- 2:49either of these candidates will find themselves in if and when
- 2:54they are elected. That is different.
- 2:56OK. And neither party is making a
- 2:58point to address this, neither one.
- 3:01OK, the debt and deficit are skyrocketing in the interest
- 3:05expense that you pay and I pay on a daily basis as U.S.
- 3:10citizens is also absolutely skyrocketing.
- 3:14No matter what happens guys, at the end of the day, we still
- 3:18have a massive, massive debt, deficit and interest expense
- 3:23problem in this country. And what is what is inflation,
- 3:28right? Inflation, inflation, inflation.
- 3:33Look, no matter how you slice it or dice it, no matter what smoke
- 3:38and mirrors you apply to it, inflation is going to absolutely
- 3:42rule the not day the decade for the next 10 years.
- 3:48We look out to 2034. I'm telling you guys, we are in
- 3:52for an inflationary issue like we have never, ever faced 4 Hold
- 3:56on here. Now I can see I did.
- 3:59Todd. Thank you, Todd Warsaw and Don
- 4:01Howe for the Super chats. There you are, guys.
- 4:04You're on the screen now. Inflation is what we're going to
- 4:07be dealing with. And inflation, OK, can be
- 4:10defined very simply. Very simply, inflation can be
- 4:15defined as the increase in the M2 money supply.
- 4:20That's what any top economist will tell you.
- 4:22That's what they've known for decades.
- 4:24If you increase the money supply, if there's more dollars
- 4:27being created, that dilutes the value of the dollar, that
- 4:32creates inflation. And that is what will rule
- 4:35absolutely the silver price and gold price as we move forward.
- 4:39I was just talking to my dad this morning and he's not an
- 4:41economist. He's not somebody like us that
- 4:43digs in and, and I was explaining to him, I'm like,
- 4:46that's how they've stolen from you over the last ten, 20-30
- 4:51years, right? My dad's a middle class guy,
- 4:54very frugal, very smart, but he's not into money.
- 4:56He's not into economics. And, and I said, you know, for
- 4:59whatever amount, let's say you had $100,000 in the bank, right,
- 5:03because of inflation, right? You've they've stolen from you.
- 5:07We were talking about the political situation in the
- 5:09country and how there's, you know, so much hatred on each
- 5:11side. And I said what people don't
- 5:13really realize is they should be very angry.
- 5:16Not necessarily. I'm not this not a political
- 5:18show, not at the other party, but at the Fed, the feds.
- 5:23Who's really stuck it to him over the last 20 or 30 years,
- 5:27Right. That 100K that you had in the
- 5:30bank five years ago now only buys the equivalent of 75,000 of
- 5:35what it would have bought five years ago, if even that.
- 5:38My gosh, Have you been to the grocery store lately?
- 5:41Where was I last night? Oh, we went to dinner last night
- 5:44at a place, a place called the Shrimp Basket that we've gone to
- 5:48for the last 10 years. And we were walking out and
- 5:50Susie was like, I remember we used to come here and we could
- 5:54get like a, a, a plate or a sandwich for like 10 bucks.
- 5:57Everything has doubled. You know it, I know it.
- 6:00That's how there's inflation. And guess what else though?
- 6:03The gold price, the silver price, they kind of doubled over
- 6:06that same period of time, right? So that's why as we look out
- 6:10into these next coming years, that's what will be happening
- 6:14regardless. And look, I know I have my views
- 6:18on this big presidential race. I'm sure you do as well.
- 6:21But at the end of the day, guys, what's going to what?
- 6:24The reason why we want to own silver and gold is because we
- 6:28are in a difficult situation that's not at all getting any
- 6:33better. Let's do our daily field trip.
- 6:36Basement dwellers. Thank you again, Don and Todd
- 6:38for the Super chats. Super appreciated.
- 6:42OK, I want to go out and let's take a look because we're
- 6:46hitting some very critical time periods right now.
- 6:51Here we are at the US debt clock as we're almost there, 35
- 6:55trillion, $973 billion in national debt.
- 7:01Don't forget, this is our deficit.
- 7:04This is the amount that we are spending as a country that is in
- 7:08excess of the amount of money that we are bringing in, right?
- 7:12We're bringing in what, 5 trillion?
- 7:14Apparently we're spending 7 trillion.
- 7:16That doesn't work. All that gets added into this,
- 7:20the new US national debt and all of this creates this interest
- 7:25expense, which very soon will hit $1 trillion.
- 7:29Look, next to the interest expense, we're spending more on
- 7:32interest than we are on defense. I think we're spending like 20%
- 7:38of the tax revenues. That means $0.20 out of every
- 7:41dollar that you pay in taxes now goes to pay interest expense.
- 7:46Interest expense, you get nothing for that.
- 7:49You get nothing. Sorry, no soup for you, right?
- 7:54Every dollar you send into the US Treasury, when you pay your
- 7:57taxes 20% sooner it'll be 25%, then it'll be 30%.
- 8:02Pretty soon all the money that we pay in taxes will just go to
- 8:07pay interest. It doesn't work.
- 8:09And this number will only continue to skyrocket because as
- 8:12countries figure this out, which they are, the BRICS countries,
- 8:16right, they're not going to want to finance this 36 trillion, 38,
- 8:20forty, $50 trillion of national debt.
- 8:23Now we talked about the M2 money supply earlier and what that
- 8:27means and what that is inflation here, that is right here, the
- 8:30USM 2 money supply. Oh boy, I hope I got you guys on
- 8:34the right screen, which I do, OK.
- 8:37That now sits at $21 trillion. But as you can see, our
- 8:41government is continuing to print money basically no matter
- 8:45how you want, you know, in increasing the USM 2 money
- 8:49supply. And what we love to look at, oh
- 8:53boy, I wonder if it went up today, the dollar to silver
- 8:57ratio, because what this measures is that increase in the
- 9:02M2 money supply, all right, relative to each one ounce of
- 9:08silver that's created every year, that's mined out of the
- 9:11ground or comes through a recycling efforts.
- 9:14And guys that continues, right? For each one ounce of silver,
- 9:17we're now getting $965 of printed Unicorn fart dust into
- 9:24money being pushed into the system.
- 9:28We are in a spiral. We are in a not good situation.
- 9:31But since we're here 965, let's go out to our little spreadsheet
- 9:37and update. Hold on, we're perfectionist
- 9:41here 965, as you can see. I mean, look at this number.
- 9:47My gosh, it hasn't even been a month.
- 9:49It's been 2 weeks. We've gone from being at $729,
- 9:53being created for each one ounce of silver being created all the
- 9:58way to 965. Are you seeing a trend?
- 10:01Are you seeing what I am when we look at these numbers and it is
- 10:05downright frightening, OK, downright frightening.
- 10:11Debt is destroying our country. Even our own government now is
- 10:15pointing that out. OK, we've got we've got the
- 10:19government figures that show the growth in the debt and what it
- 10:22looks like in the coming years. And guys, it the government's
- 10:26pointed out to us, OK, the trend of deficits, higher debt and
- 10:30interest expense will continue. Let's go, let's go.
- 10:35And then we're going to come back and talk about gold going
- 10:38up by 78 times. But let's go check out, do our
- 10:41daily check on the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
- 10:46Here's our friend, the Oriental Ghost.
- 10:47Thank you again for your data. I want to .0.
- 10:50We need to check on the silver price here too.
- 10:52What the heck? What do you say, basement
- 10:54dwellers? But we'll do this first, the
- 10:56Shanghai Gold Exchange, SGE. There's Silver AG on the
- 11:00Shanghai Gold Exchange 3493 because it's Election Day, we're
- 11:05going to round up, we're going to say that in China, silver is
- 11:09selling for $35 per oz. For those of you who are new,
- 11:13that is important because this the Shanghai Gold Exchange and
- 11:19we emphasize the high because for silver, the price always
- 11:22seems to be significantly higher is a physical market.
- 11:26It's a physical market. You got to have the physical.
- 11:29It's not like the United States and the London Million Market
- 11:32Association where you can trade whatever make believe silver,
- 11:36Fantasyland, fantasy island silver.
- 11:39And I'm telling you, the Chinese and the Indians and the
- 11:42Russians, right, even the Brazilians, they're all looking
- 11:45at that saying you guys have fun with your make believe silver,
- 11:48but we're going to deal with the Real McCoy.
- 11:51All right. And when this all comes home to
- 11:53roost, the Comex and the LBMA are going to be in big, big,
- 11:56big, big trouble. Because think about this.
- 11:59Remember what happened in the nickel market not too long ago?
- 12:03Nickel's a metal. And on the London Metal
- 12:05Exchange, the market broke, OK? The market broke that same
- 12:11thing. It's important.
- 12:12The reason why that's important is because that same thing can
- 12:15happen with the silver market. Look, there have been people,
- 12:19including me who spent decades learning about this and it is
- 12:24real, right? The silver shortage is real.
- 12:28And the fact that, look, just because the silver market never
- 12:32has broke doesn't mean that it never will, right?
- 12:36We suffer from recency bias. We, we suffer, you know, it's
- 12:40like recency bias is so critical for you to understand, for me to
- 12:44understand as a precious metals investor, because right, when it
- 12:48comes to our financial system, when it comes to our national
- 12:51debt, that's recency bias. Those are the people when you
- 12:54talk to him, right? You said, Oh my God, have you
- 12:56seen the national debt? Ron from Ron's basement says
- 12:58it's $36 trillion. The sky is falling.
- 13:01The sky is falling. Oh my God, don't worry about it.
- 13:05We've always had a big national debt.
- 13:07It's never been a problem. And you know what?
- 13:09They're right, right? They're right.
- 13:11We always have had that big. Thank you, Silver Surfer.
- 13:14I'll read that in one second. We've never had a big problem.
- 13:17That doesn't mean that we're never are going to have a big
- 13:20problem, right? Think about the British Empire
- 13:24for, for, for, for centuries they ruled the world.
- 13:26They never had a big problem until they did, until their debt
- 13:31got out of control. So this recency bias is real,
- 13:35and it's something that you really need to pay attention to.
- 13:39Hold on. Let's go see what Silver Surfer
- 13:41has to say. He's a great contributor as a
- 13:44trader. I went long silver for the first
- 13:46time the day after Trump was elected in 2016.
- 13:50Never looked back. No regrets.
- 13:52Thank you Silver Surfer. Thank you for your for your your
- 13:55comment. And I told you guys earlier in
- 13:58the week and maybe on Saturday and Sunday.
- 14:00My gut tells me we are going to have much higher silver prices
- 14:05by the end of this week. I just feel it now.
- 14:08My feeling is usually right, but often times wrong.
- 14:12But Silver Surfer, we'll see what happens tonight with the
- 14:14election. Let's go out and check on the
- 14:16silver price, guys, because there is a lot happening today
- 14:20and we want to stay on top of things.
- 14:22This is not updated, so let's press the button.
- 14:25Everybody take a deep breath. Last time, about 20 minutes ago,
- 14:28silver was up $0.35 and silver's up $0.38.
- 14:34Woohoo, gold up 11 bucks. Hey, you know, remember we going
- 14:40to have some massive volatility, but we won't complain when the
- 14:44price is up. I want to say thank you and I
- 14:46want to talk to you about Pinbecks, guys.
- 14:48They sponsor Ron's Basement. They make this possible.
- 14:52They're an online bullion dealer where you can get gold, silver,
- 14:55platinum, group metals. They always recommend right
- 14:58stack responsibly, dollar cost average.
- 15:02These are, these guys are really, really providing the
- 15:05stacking community a great service, the basement dweller
- 15:08community a great service. They've ultra competitive
- 15:12prices, great selection, right? And #1 it's a company that I
- 15:17know I trust and I know I feel very comfortable and confident
- 15:21recommending them to you because I think that you can trust them
- 15:24too. Now, I can't make any decisions
- 15:26for you. You're, you're your own, your
- 15:28own basement dweller, your own, whatever you want to call
- 15:31yourself, right? But you know, you really might
- 15:34benefit from considering checking out Pinbacks next time
- 15:38you're in the market for gold, silver or platinum group metals.
- 15:41I get emails from you guys saying, Ron, thank you.
- 15:44I got one the other day. I read it to you guys.
- 15:46The guys like I saved $995 buying from PMBEX relative to
- 15:51the other place that I used to buy from and coin shop.
- 15:54Chris and I right, we would all, he would go through these
- 15:57examples. I mean it really.
- 15:59And, and you're getting the exact same silver, the exact
- 16:02same goal. You're getting the exact same
- 16:04metal, right? An American Silver Eagle is
- 16:07American Silver Eagle, right? Real, legitimate stuff.
- 16:10Please check out Pembacs. All right, let's move on.
- 16:13Oh boy, we got so much going on. Let's talk about gold.
- 16:16This is crazy. This is the smartest guy in the
- 16:21room, the smartest gold and silver guy in the room that
- 16:24that's writing. And I'm going to give you
- 16:26unbelievable information and a big, big, big, big happy
- 16:30surprise for you and me as silver and gold investors when
- 16:35he talks about the big picture with silver and gold.
- 16:38The big reason why you want to hold silver and gold.
- 16:42Now, I'm not giving financial advice.
- 16:43I'm just reporting the news. But this is good news and let's
- 16:47get into it right now. This comes from right here, Egon
- 16:55van Gueres, OK, he is, he is the smartest guy in the room.
- 16:59I think he's in Switzerland. All right, Gold, best asset in
- 17:03the two in 2000s, but you ain't seen nothing yet.
- 17:08Guys, it gets better. Wait till you get a load of what
- 17:11he's talking about and I'm not going to read every detail of
- 17:14this article, but he talks about he stated unsustainable deficits
- 17:19check and galloping debt levels. I've never heard of it that way.
- 17:25I'm I'm envisioning Lone Ranger or whatever.
- 17:27Galloping debt levels combined with a crumbling military are
- 17:31the perfect recipe for the end of an empire.
- 17:35Look, I love America, I love this country and my kids.
- 17:38You know I'm not anti American. Make sure I got you on the right
- 17:42screen. But guys, empires do end.
- 17:46Bad things do happen, OK? History doesn't just rhyme, but
- 17:50it repeats itself over and over and over again.
- 17:55We just look. Let's just look at the final
- 17:58stages of a debt crisis. Wait till you see this chart.
- 18:02The table below shows the disastrous result of
- 18:05irresponsible governments during the last 54 years. 54 years?
- 18:10That would have been what, 1971? But look at this chart.
- 18:15When paper money dies, OK, in the year 1970, which happens to
- 18:19be the year that I was born, what year were you born?
- 18:23Right? We had that much debt, .4
- 18:25trillion. That was the gold price, OK, and
- 18:29that was the baseline for the US dollar.
- 18:32If we go down this chart, we just go to 1990.
- 18:35We had three trillion in debt. The dollar had fallen 92%.
- 18:39This was when Nixon took us off the gold standard.
- 18:42OK, we Fast forward to 2020. Oh, we got to look at the gold
- 18:47price too. Look at the gold price, $35.
- 18:51OK, Don't worry. We're going to talk about 78X
- 18:54gold and why the next decades are going to be even crazier.
- 18:57This is happening faster and faster.
- 18:59If we go down to, let's just go to the current year, 35 trillion
- 19:03in debt. Gold, as you know, $2740 per oz.
- 19:09the US dollar has lost now 99% of its value.
- 19:14If we project these numbers forward to A50 trillion debt,
- 19:18which I think it could be more, but let's just say 50 trillion
- 19:21by 2030, gold would be at 10,000 per oz and the US dollar would
- 19:27have fallen. I mean, we've fallen so much,
- 19:29but it would have fallen another 70% from where it is right now.
- 19:34If we go to 2040, we've got 100 trillion in debt.
- 19:38And again, these numbers could move much faster than that.
- 19:40Gold would be at 30,000 and we would have lost 99.9% of the
- 19:46value of the US dollar. This, that's the trajectory in
- 19:51which we are heading right now. But wait, there's more.
- 19:55There's more. There's a lot more.
- 19:58OK? There's a lot, lot more that
- 20:00we're going to look at from Oregon.
- 20:01But before we do that, I want to quickly say something to you.
- 20:04Thank you for being here today, this connection we have.
- 20:08In the basement, basement dwellers is a big deal.
- 20:11Your time's important. You are important.
- 20:14You are a big part of this community.
- 20:16Wonderful people in the chat. So many friendships have been
- 20:19forged here. It's an honor for me to get to
- 20:21do this. I just wanted to say thank you.
- 20:23Gold and silver are important, right?
- 20:25And we're going to get back to the 78X gold thing, but
- 20:29relationships and people are even more important.
- 20:31Yeah, I was, I'll tell you a quick, quick story.
- 20:33I was, my daughters and Susie were in a gift shop last night
- 20:37and I made the smart decision to wait in our minivan.
- 20:40And my 84 year old dad was sitting next to me and he looked
- 20:45over and he's, he's got a cell phone.
- 20:46And he was like, I have a problem with my phone.
- 20:48Every time I go to take a picture, it makes me wait 2
- 20:52seconds. And he had accidentally turned
- 20:55the timer on on his phone. You know when you would take a
- 20:58picture so it would countdown. I said, dad, let me see your
- 21:00phone. I looked, I said, OK, So then I
- 21:03switched it to 10 seconds and I handed it back to him.
- 21:06I said here, see if you like this better.
- 21:08And he was like, Oh no. I said no, dude, the timer's on.
- 21:11And we fixed it. He was so happy, you know, and,
- 21:15and for some reason at that minute it hit me.
- 21:17I thought this is what life is about this.
- 21:19The gold and silver price. Yes, those are important, right?
- 21:22And I don't know why I went through that story with you, but
- 21:25you're important. Our relationships, our
- 21:26friendships. I was talking to Coin Shop Chris
- 21:28last night on the phone. That's number one.
- 21:30Let's get back to gold and silver.
- 21:32I digressed again. All right, Because Ergon, is it
- 21:37Ergon or Egon? Let's get that right.
- 21:40I'm going to be respectful to this man.
- 21:42Egon. You got to love that name.
- 21:43Egon. It's like I'm going to change my
- 21:46name to Eron. OK?
- 21:48But it gets better, guys. I'm just reading the highlights.
- 21:51In 1971, Nixon took away the dollar's gold backing.
- 21:54He said your dollar will be worth as much tomorrow, right?
- 22:01Why did they have to do that? Well, now, well, you know, they
- 22:04took, they remember 1971, President Nixon temporarily took
- 22:07us off the gold, gold standard. If Tricky Dick was still alive
- 22:11today, he can, of course argue that he didn't lie.
- 22:15Let's look at this. This is crazy, OK?
- 22:19The dollar crash. The dollar's crashed.
- 22:21We've been through a crash, guys, and people don't even
- 22:24realize it since Nixon temporarily devalued the dollar
- 22:27in 1971 in spite of his assurances that the dollar in
- 22:32your pocket will be worth the same, right?
- 22:35The dollar, and look at this, has gone down by 99%.
- 22:41Yes, 99%, and there's another 99.
- 22:46Remember that chart we looked at earlier?
- 22:48Another 99% fall ahead. Don't worry, we're going to get
- 22:52to the point where we have $7800, our 7800% price increase
- 23:00because a dollar today is still worth a dollar.
- 23:03This is critical. OK, so Nixon said your dollar
- 23:06will be worth as much tomorrow as it is today.
- 23:09These are our politicians, right?
- 23:11You don't worry, right? And the dollar still is a
- 23:14dollar. You guys remember Pat Holland,
- 23:16he's a great friend of the channel.
- 23:17He describes this as nominal confusion, right?
- 23:21A dollar is still a dollar, $100 bill is still $100 bill.
- 23:27So we get confused. Look, 15 years ago, if you gave,
- 23:32if I gave you $100 bill or you gave me $100 bill, think about
- 23:36it. It was like, whoa, it's $100
- 23:38bill. That's really nice.
- 23:39Today, if I hand you right now $100 bill, you can be like,
- 23:45whoa, it's $100 bill. It's really nice.
- 23:47It still has some value in our heads.
- 23:50We're confused. We're brainwashed, right?
- 23:52But you and I very well know that that same $100 bill that I
- 23:57gave you 15 years ago, 15 years ago, would buy at least twice as
- 24:02much at the grocery store or the gas station or wherever you
- 24:06frequent twice as much. But in our minds, it's still so
- 24:10Nixon said a dollar still be a dollar.
- 24:12It'll be good. Everything's OK.
- 24:14Yeah. No, it's not OK.
- 24:16It is not OK. And it's going to get way, way,
- 24:20way worse, OK, OK. Because a dollar today is still
- 24:24worth a dollar, he would argue, but he wouldn't tell anyone that
- 24:27the dollar 53 years later would have lost 99% of its purchasing
- 24:33power. So now let's look at the gold
- 24:35price in dollars, OK, And here you have it.
- 24:39And then I got the big kicker for you that we need to consider
- 24:43it, which is super exciting when we think about the silver price
- 24:46and the gold price. But gold is up 78 X 7800% cents.
- 24:52Nixon closed the gold window in 1971.
- 24:57Remember a dollar? Still a dollar, but with 30 Five
- 25:02of those dollars in 1971. You well I think not till 1976
- 25:08because that was technically when they allowed U.S. citizens
- 25:11to buy gold again. But you get the point, $3540 in
- 25:151976 you could buy an ounce of gold, 35 or $40 today.
- 25:22That doesn't even buy like, I mean, what does that buy?
- 25:26One 100th, 180th of an ounce, right?
- 25:30Those same $40.50 dollars, let's say $50.00 that you have back
- 25:36then, right? That you could buy an ounce of
- 25:38gold with today. We'll buy you what, like 150th
- 25:42of an ounce maybe maybe yeah, basically, OK, that's that's
- 25:46what's happened. That's the reality.
- 25:48And yes, right, gold did go up 7800 and that's not the kicker.
- 25:56Gold is up 78 X, OK. The next phase will be
- 26:00acceleration. This is where it gets
- 26:04interesting, guys. Acceleration.
- 26:06It's the law of big numbers. It's the law of compounding
- 26:09interest. And that's where we are right
- 26:12now because of this. Let's go back up there, OK?
- 26:20Right out of control, we're not going to spend much time there,
- 26:23but this number right is growing now exponentially.
- 26:28As I explained in this article, gold will rise by multiples in
- 26:31the coming years. Obviously that we'll have
- 26:34corrections right? It's not going to be a straight
- 26:36up. Then they talk about all the
- 26:37emperors empires. This has happened before paper
- 26:41money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. 0 paper is
- 26:47paper 0 Spend those paper dollars while you can, right?
- 26:51And you know, look, I'm not saying this is going to happen
- 26:53tomorrow, but it's happening right now.
- 26:56Right now when we have when have we ever heard of a leader
- 27:01telling us that we must protect ourselves against the fraudulent
- 27:04destruction of our wealth by constantly debasing the value of
- 27:08money? What they're saying is, and
- 27:10that's what I tried to explain to my dad, you know, hey, look,
- 27:14that's where they've really screwed you.
- 27:16Alan Greenspan, former Federal Reserve Chairman.
- 27:22Let me look you in the eye here, basement dwellers.
- 27:24I know it's a crazy day. It's Election Day everybody I
- 27:28understand. But man, we can feel good about
- 27:31the fact that we are in silver and gold.
- 27:36Do you feel good? Right It it could be crazy these
- 27:39next 483696 hours with but man, right, this is the oh, here, I
- 27:45got a piece. Look at that, huh?
- 27:49Look at that. Doesn't it feel good to own some
- 27:51of that? Oh, man, Doesn't it feel good,
- 27:54huh? Yeah, it feels good.
- 27:56Now, where was that? Let's go back to our article.
- 28:00I think I'm doing good. Thank you guys for the Super
- 28:02chats. OK, Alan.
- 28:05Oh, this is Alan Greenspan, right?
- 28:07The federal. Federal, whatever.
- 28:09He was president, chairman, whatever, said in the absence of
- 28:13the gold standard, there's no way to protect savings from
- 28:16confiscation through inflation. There's no safe store of value.
- 28:21OK. The Financial Policy of the
- 28:23welfare state requires that there be no way for the owners
- 28:27of wealth to protect themselves. OK.
- 28:30It's the shabby secret of the wealth welfare statistics.
- 28:35All right, I won't go through all that, but oh, yeah, here we
- 28:38go. Now let's look at this.
- 28:41It's not just the United States of America.
- 28:44No, this is global debt. Look at this.
- 28:47Since 1971, global debt has gone from 44 trillion all the way up
- 28:55to in 2021. And we know now it's probably
- 29:00like 330 trillion U.S. dollars. Guys, this does not end well.
- 29:05Global debt almost went up by 100 times, right in the last 54
- 29:10years. Are you kidding me?
- 29:13Oh, hold on here. When will it end?
- 29:20OK, there we are. Christine Lagarde and Gomer Pyle
- 29:27with their print, print, print, print, Right.
- 29:29Printing ink. Yeah.
- 29:32And those are all the people, right?
- 29:34They're just going to print money.
- 29:35OK, Very few. This is this is the last point I
- 29:41want to make, He says. Very few will think of
- 29:44alternative investments like gold to preserve wealth until
- 29:48it's too late. Your neighbors, the sheep, all
- 29:56they're not going to wake up until it's too late.
- 29:59And then they're going to be like, wow, Can you believe that
- 30:03we actually believed in paper money?
- 30:05Well, you know, hey, don't say you weren't warned or the
- 30:08opportunity wasn't there, right? OK.
- 30:11And at that point, gold would have gone up so much in value
- 30:14and silver with very few participating.
- 30:17There are very few people participating in this.
- 30:21Everyone will find gold too expensive.
- 30:23Very few will realize gold isn't.
- 30:25Gold isn't going up, but paper money is going down.
- 30:35OK, we're going to get back to more.
- 30:36You want to hear about shortages, silver shortage,
- 30:40silver gone. Silver, silver, silver.
- 30:43We're going to talk about your favorite subject, silver.
- 30:45I do want to say thank you to our other channel sponsors.
- 30:49Let's start with Fortuna Mining, active mining company right
- 30:54there mining silver and gold in Latin America in an ever
- 30:58increasing amount of gold in West Africa.
- 31:01They've got a big gold mine in Cote d'Ivoire, the Ivory Coast
- 31:06that is doing very, very well. Big potential development stage
- 31:10project in Senegal and another operating mine in Burkina Faso.
- 31:13And guys, big news out today from First Mining Gold.
- 31:17Let's they're a Canadian gold developer with two multi million
- 31:22ounce projects in Canada. But we got some news out of them
- 31:25today. First Mining announces the
- 31:28submission of its final Environmental Impact Statement
- 31:31environmental assessment for the Spring Pull Gold project in
- 31:35Ontario. That's a big deal.
- 31:37They've been working on that for 14 years and it's a big
- 31:41milestone for the company to have gotten that out.
- 31:43So congratulations to the whole team at First Mining Gold.
- 31:46You can learn more about that on their website.
- 31:50The future looks bright. Look, I don't give investment
- 31:52advice, but I still say the mining stocks are cheap, OK,
- 31:57They're not cheap. That's a bad word.
- 31:58I apologize. Erase that.
- 32:00They're probably one of the best values around right now and
- 32:04offering potential, right potential for incredible price
- 32:10appreciation, in particular the development stage and junior
- 32:13stage companies. All right, let's talk about
- 32:15silver. I was listening to an interview
- 32:17with Andy Schechtman the other day and this really hit home.
- 32:21Shortages the the available invest.
- 32:25And I'm not quoting him here, I'm giving my input.
- 32:28The available investable gold and silver can be gone super
- 32:33quickly. Like we just talked about what
- 32:36Irgon said, when people wake up, the available amount of
- 32:40investable silver, let's focus on silver guys can be gone in a
- 32:45lickety split flickity flash gone.
- 32:49We saw it happen during the little banking crisis 18 months
- 32:52ago. We saw it happen during the C19
- 32:54crisis. This is real.
- 32:55This can happen super, super quick, OK.
- 32:59And those, I mean, those are just two examples.
- 33:02I mean, what could come down the pipe, right, in terms of
- 33:06geopolitical turmoil, domestic turmoil, financial crisis could
- 33:10be much bigger and we could see silver can get wiped out so
- 33:14fast. Actually, last week, this is, I
- 33:16was talking with M1 of the owners of Pinbeck's and he had
- 33:19told me he's like, we're starting to see, we're not
- 33:22saying there's a shortage, OK? But he said we're starting to
- 33:25see some stress at certain parts of the silver market, right?
- 33:29It, I mean, it takes nothing. It just takes because this is so
- 33:34such a big deal now with online, all these online bullion,
- 33:38bullion dealers like Pinbeck's and the host of other ones.
- 33:42I think PMBEX is best, but I digress.
- 33:45You could be people can buy up all the investable silver in the
- 33:50matter of an hour. Do you know how different that
- 33:54is? Do you know how different that
- 33:56is? OK.
- 33:57And I just realized I forgot to tell you the big exciting thing
- 34:00about that gold going up 78 X. I'm going to remember that here
- 34:04in a second. OK, I apologize, but it's
- 34:07different now. Information goes so much faster.
- 34:11Look, in 1980, I was talking with some of the old coin shop
- 34:14guys at a coin show about six months ago.
- 34:17I said, what was it like in 1980 when there was this massive run
- 34:20up in silver? They were like, dude, we would
- 34:23come to the coin shop and there would be lines of 100 people and
- 34:28there was no way that we could help all those people during the
- 34:31course of the day. It's like we would go out there
- 34:33and count like 40 people and then tell the rest we're sorry.
- 34:36You really don't want to waste your time.
- 34:39Now instead of those lines of people at the local coin shop,
- 34:43they can hop on this right their self, their, their phone.
- 34:47You know, I could right now right in front of you buy a
- 34:50monster box from pin backs in 5 minutes, right?
- 34:54And know that it would be delivered in a week.
- 34:57I mean, it's different now. It's a big deal.
- 34:59It's a big, big, massive deal. Let me make sure.
- 35:03OK. Sorry.
- 35:03Somebody was texting me. Uh oh, here we are.
- 35:06I think we're back. Hopefully we're still alive.
- 35:09It's a big, big, big deal. Sorry.
- 35:16Here we go. Silver and gold are different.
- 35:19OK. How many people?
- 35:22OK, this is about that. This was the Andy.
- 35:24Andy Scheckman said this in so many different words, but it's
- 35:27true. Like who do you know silver?
- 35:30You're a silver and gold investor.
- 35:32I'm a silver and gold investor. Who do you know that's looking
- 35:36to sell their silver or sell their gold?
- 35:40Do you know anybody looking to sell?
- 35:42Hardly anybody. I don't know anybody.
- 35:45I talked to coin shop Chris last night.
- 35:47He wasn't telling me, hey, I think I want to sell my silver.
- 35:49No, I mean, look, I know we live in a bit of an echo chamber, but
- 35:53guys, there just aren't people that are like, oh, I made a
- 35:56mistake. Think about this right now with
- 36:00gold at all time highs, basically with silver over 30
- 36:05bucks an ounce. We'll go check here in a second
- 36:07to get an update. Nobody's wanting to sell their
- 36:10silver. Do you want to sell your silver?
- 36:12Ask yourself that quick. Maybe you do.
- 36:14I'm certainly right. There's probably a one or two of
- 36:17you are like, yeah, I want to get out and sell some whatever.
- 36:19I've never sold an ounce. What I'm saying the big critical
- 36:22point here is there aren't a lot of people that want to get rid
- 36:26of their silver and gold. What are you going to do, Put it
- 36:30in dollars? Come on.
- 36:32Eisenhower, Albert Eisenhower, Albert Einstein.
- 36:38You know what I'm saying? Nobody's wanting to sell.
- 36:41So the supply of investable silver and gold isn't going to
- 36:44skyrocket? No, is it?
- 36:47No, it's not going to skyrocket. We know that.
- 36:51OK. The other big thing, there is so
- 36:54much money. So too much money.
- 36:59You know what I'm saying? You know that song?
- 37:01More money, more money, More money.
- 37:03There's money everywhere coming out.
- 37:05Printed money. There's money being printed.
- 37:08No, this is driving me crazy. OK, look at this.
- 37:13You think there's not money? There's money, there's debt.
- 37:16That's money being created. But let's just go down here real
- 37:19quickly. Oh, yeah, there's a lot of
- 37:21money. There's the M2 money supply.
- 37:24Oh, look at that. Just went up by 100K in the last
- 37:2710 seconds. There is money everywhere,
- 37:32everywhere. OK, where's that money?
- 37:34I'm going to see what Andy Scheckman had to say because I
- 37:36took some notes here. There's so much money.
- 37:40He he said this in so many words.
- 37:42And again, I'm not quoting, but there's like there's so much
- 37:43money out there available to move into the gold and silver
- 37:48market. Six point what what's the what's
- 37:53the significance of sick the number 6.5?
- 37:56Well, it's real significant when you say trillion after it, $6.5
- 38:01trillion sitting in money market accounts, cash accounts, bank
- 38:05accounts in this country, guys, right, That's people safe money.
- 38:11That's what's so exciting. So exciting.
- 38:14That's people safe money. The stock market, right?
- 38:17They don't want to put that in the stock market to begin with.
- 38:19They certainly don't want it starts to crash the bond market
- 38:22and real estate and real estate's, real estate's done.
- 38:29Interest rates have got to go up, right?
- 38:32Do you see interest rates went up by 3/4 of a point since the
- 38:35Fed cut rates? Everything's done, everybody is.
- 38:42Is that right? Did you hear that?
- 38:44That's the sound of the sheeple. They're awake, they're starting
- 38:47to wake up, right? And they got $6.5 trillion that
- 38:51needs a new home. So that's their safe money.
- 38:54Why is that so important? Because that's safe money.
- 38:58They're going to, when they realize that they're losing
- 39:01value by keeping it in a money market account.
- 39:05When interest rates, real interest rates are negative,
- 39:09they're going to say, I won't do it again.
- 39:13I promise They're going to say, well, my save money, maybe I
- 39:20need to buy silver and gold. What do you think?
- 39:22The caught the Costco dads are the first the people buying gold
- 39:27and silver at Costco. We call those the Costco dads.
- 39:29I'm not nothing against them. I've never been in a Costco.
- 39:32I'm a Sam's Club dad. But anyway, they're waking up.
- 39:37Those people are generally intelligent.
- 39:39The people I would say are value conscious.
- 39:42Think about that. If you shop at Costco, you're
- 39:44value conscious. You want to get a good deal.
- 39:47What does that make sense, that they're buying silver and gold?
- 39:50Yes, it does. OK, we got more to talk about.
- 39:53Let's go check. Let's go.
- 39:55We're going to be courageous. We're going to go check on the
- 39:57silver and gold price at. Channel sponsor pin backs OK
- 40:04come on baby $0.35 OK silver $32.82 gold up six dollars 2740.
- 40:15I also want to say thank you to channel sponsor Dirty Man Safes.
- 40:21Right? This is the safe.
- 40:22You can be like a pirate, right? It's this really cool safe you
- 40:26you get to dig a hole. There's this big sleeve that you
- 40:29put into the hole. You get to bury this in the
- 40:31ground. It's guaranteed the last like 50
- 40:34years. It's super cool.
- 40:35I was impressed. They sent me one, a couple of
- 40:37them actually. And I'm like, wow, this is a way
- 40:40exceeded my expectations, right? Everybody's like, oh, you could
- 40:44just build it up. No, you could not just build
- 40:46this out of some PVC pipe. Sorry.
- 40:49OK. And to me, it was a very cool,
- 40:53very well designed product. And and you know, I was thinking
- 40:57about it, I was like, you know what, you could, you could bury
- 41:00this in your yard. It's like you're a pirate.
- 41:01Where did the pirates bury their treasure in the ground?
- 41:05Right. But it's a cool product.
- 41:07Check it out. What I would say is this, if
- 41:09you're, if you know somebody who's a stacker, if you know
- 41:12somebody, stackers are usually hard people to buy Christmas
- 41:15gifts for. Maybe it's a Christmas gift you
- 41:17could consider for one of your stacker friends.
- 41:19I don't know. Well, and there's a discount
- 41:22code, Ron 10 that you can use if you decide to buy 1.
- 41:27And I mean, I'm, I'm, I was impressed when they showed up at
- 41:31my house. So anyhow, shortages.
- 41:34Are we done there? Yeah, we're done.
- 41:36We're done. OK, That's what's coming down
- 41:39the road, guys, this election, right?
- 41:42Be prepared for these, for these ups and downs, but we'll see how
- 41:45it all plays out. It'll be interesting.
- 41:47I want to say thank you for being here.
- 41:49Thank you to the moderators. I saw Susie, Jake from Jake's
- 41:52Custom Parts, the one and only Annie Oakley and hello, Clifton
- 41:58Pirates make a map. Yeah.
- 41:59Well, actually, the The Dirty man safe comes with like a piece
- 42:02of grid paper so you can draw a map like where you buried at
- 42:06your backyard. And it also comes with these
- 42:08metal balls that are they're called salting balls.
- 42:11You kind of spread them around on the ground around like a
- 42:14perimeter where you put it. So that and I think if you bury
- 42:18it 12 inches down, it's not detectable with a metal
- 42:20detector. But anyway, it's pretty cool.
- 42:23I mean, it's a it's a neat thing.
- 42:25Thank you, Clifton, and thanks again for your ideas.
- 42:27And Annie Oakley, I see you Silver Sparky.
- 42:31Good to see you. Hey, and today's Don Howe, thank
- 42:35you for the Super chat, Todd, thank you.
- 42:38And of course, the one and only silver surfer.
- 42:41Thank you guys. It's going to be a wild ride.
- 42:44Let's take some deep breaths. I'll talk to you soon Be
- 42:47interesting tomorrow, right now where the silver and gold price
- 42:51are beating no matter what, right?
- 42:53Just if you get if you get a little anxious like I do, just
- 42:56pick up one of these, right? It'll, it'll calm your it'll
- 43:00calm your heart. Have a great day.
- 43:02OK. I'll see you soon.
- 43:03Thank you. Bye.
- 43:07Bye.
