  Speaker 5: bad in this league. I just err on the side

  Speaker 5: that this is a good team that's not completely hitting

  Speaker 5: on all cylinders, and they got a lot of things

  Speaker 5: to kind of put together, and I think this is

  Speaker 5: about the time where it needs to start kind of

  Speaker 5: rounding into shape.

  Speaker 3: And you're right, like, there's multiple guys and if they're

  Speaker 3: top that feel like they're probably having to try to

  Speaker 3: do it all. And when you get in that situation,

  Speaker 5: Yeah, it's you know, it's definitely tough because now you're

  Speaker 5: sitting there, like baseball is the ultimate path of Paton sport, right,

  Speaker 5: in the capacity that is being allowed when you allow

  Speaker 5: the game to kind of come to you. When you

  Speaker 5: sit there and you're trying to take yourself to the

  Speaker 5: game all the time, you start trying to kind of

  Speaker 5: play over your skis and do a little more than

  Speaker 5: what maybe the situation is calling for. So there is

  Speaker 5: a little bit of that push. But I think the

  Speaker 5: really good players, the best ones, are the ones that

  Speaker 5: are able to kind of fight that and believe it

  Speaker 5: or not, whether whether the lineup is good or not,

  Speaker 5: whether the team is good or not. The best players

  Speaker 5: are able to kind of just play their role in

  Speaker 5: their situation as it is until things around them start

  Speaker 5: to happen as well. So I think if you can

  Speaker 5: kind of take that matured approach, that kind of experienced

  Speaker 5: approach and understanding what's going on around you and let

  Speaker 3: weeks ago. Jay Mitch is like, if they don't protect,

  Speaker 3: and we're not talking about you know, leaving the ball

  Speaker 3: the ball field, We're not talking about you know, hitting
• 5:28
  Speaker 3: doubles off the wall. We're just talking about good at
• 5:30
  Speaker 3: bats that have to force the issue and you know,

  Speaker 3: make you pitch to Jake Brown, because like somebody right

  Speaker 3: now in this LSU lineup that I wouldn't throw to

  Speaker 3: is Jake Brown. So like those guys around him, it

  Speaker 3: doesn't have to be world beaters. It just has to
• 5:43
  Speaker 3: be competitive at bats. So Jake Brown can at least
• 5:46
  Speaker 3: see one pitch to hit per a bat.

  Speaker 5: I agree with that, but I guess my take on

  Speaker 5: Jake Brown too is kind of crazy because it's it's

  Speaker 5: a little different, and it's a little different in the

  Speaker 5: sense of so when you come into a season like

  Speaker 5: everybody needs Jake Brown was a good player. Yeah, the

  Speaker 5: player he is right now, the things that he's doing

  Speaker 5: right now is not reminiscent of what he's done in

  Speaker 5: his career. And so what I mean by that is

  Speaker 5: he's playing even a level above. He's gone above and

  Speaker 5: beyond what we've seen. So when you came into the year,

  Speaker 5: you knew you was a good player, but you didn't

  Speaker 5: tab him as this Allah, tab him Tommy White as

  Speaker 5: hey don't pitch to him. From the beginning of the season,

  Speaker 5: when it started at twenty three, you knew who that
• 6:22
  Speaker 5: guy was and what he was going to do and

  Speaker 5: how he plays and the power that he brought in,

  Speaker 5: the threat that he was in the lineup. Jake is

  Speaker 5: showing you that for the first time this year and

  Speaker 5: it's not a bad thing. It's a great thing. So

  Speaker 5: is it takes a while for people to start recognizing

  Speaker 5: the other side of it. They're starting to not pitched

  Speaker 5: to Jake. These guys are really going to start truly

  Speaker 5: getting more pitches to hit in a time where they're like,

  Speaker 5: you know what, let's not let Jake be let's let

  Speaker 5: these guys beat us. Let's go attack these guys instead.

  Speaker 5: work together to getting them back on track the way they.

  Speaker 3: an LSU uniform. Now he's making the move from kind

  Speaker 3: like the last four innings to being a first game

  Speaker 3: out Friday night starter in the SEC. That was the

  Speaker 3: case in Evans that we I've certainly seen multiple times

  Speaker 3: already in an LSU uniform. If he does that and

  Speaker 3: you got an injury to your Saturday guy now, so

  Speaker 5: did right like, he saw some ups and downs. He

  Speaker 5: gave you that mental perception that it was going to

  Speaker 5: be out the gate the exact same way and not

  Speaker 5: understanding that there was probably going to be a little

  Speaker 5: bit bumps. But I love where he's at right now, eyeball.
