- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, Welcome to the Gift Them La La Podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I have never been so hyped in my mother effing life.
- 0:11Speaker 1: You guys know, I live under a rock. I find
- 0:15Speaker 1: things out two months after they happen. But today we
- 0:19Speaker 1: are going to be in the effing know when it
- 0:22Speaker 1: comes to pop culture because I have Christy Cook with
- 0:24Speaker 1: spill sessh. And I'm so excited and Easton's excited too, and.
- 0:31Speaker 2: It's so excited, guys, thanks for having me. I was
- 0:34Speaker 2: just so excited about thank you chatting with you guys
- 0:37Speaker 2: about all this stuff today.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Can I ask how old are you?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Twenty seven?
- 0:41Speaker 1: You're twenty seven? You're a baby, Oh my gosh. You
- 0:46Speaker 1: started with TMZ?
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yes, Like I worked there for four years. So when
- 0:51Speaker 2: I first moved to LA, I was like a Warner
- 0:53Speaker 2: Brothers tour guide for five minutes. And then I started
- 0:56Speaker 2: working at TMZ.
- 0:57Speaker 1: And I was like, nineteen, what mad you gravitate towards
- 1:01Speaker 1: TMZ and working there.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I was applying to any job, honestly, Like when I
- 1:05Speaker 2: was first moving to LA, I just wanted any job
- 1:08Speaker 2: that would allow me to stay in LA. And I've
- 1:11Speaker 2: always wanted to work in some form of journalism, whether
- 1:14Speaker 2: it was like entertainment news or if it was local news,
- 1:18Speaker 2: I would have taken any job. I just loved making
- 1:21Speaker 2: videos and stories and I was just obsessed with it.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So I applied to so many jobs. I don't even
- 1:27Speaker 2: remember applying to TMZ. Yeah, and I just got like
- 1:30Speaker 2: an email one day that they wanted me to interview
- 1:33Speaker 2: to be an intern.
- 1:34Speaker 1: What is the application process like when working for TMZ?
- 1:39Speaker 2: I think, well, at the time they were owned by
- 1:41Speaker 2: Warner Brothers, So I applied to like every job because
- 1:45Speaker 2: when I was a tour guide, I got a Warner
- 1:46Speaker 2: Brothers email, So then you could have internally applied to jobs.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Now it was like the heck.
- 1:52Speaker 2: So then I applied to like so many jobs. And
- 1:55Speaker 2: then I think it was just like you know, submit, submit, submit,
- 1:57Speaker 2: like all your information, and then I did like a
- 2:00Speaker 2: FaceTime interview. Then I went into the office for an interview,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and then I got the job.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And what was being an intern like? Were you boots
- 2:06Speaker 1: on the ground trying to dig up the dirt? Were
- 2:08Speaker 1: you sitting there in like the docket where you wait
- 2:12Speaker 1: for like, oh, so and so just filed for divorce.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We have to be the first to report.
- 2:16Speaker 2: There was the department for that, but as an intern,
- 2:19Speaker 2: I was saying that I would take any department to
- 2:22Speaker 2: work in, Like I just liked so many different aspects
- 2:25Speaker 2: of journalism, like whether it was editing or filming or writing.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I was down to do whatever. So I worked every day,
- 2:32Speaker 2: like some of the interns came in like three days.
- 2:34Speaker 2: But I was just like, I live here, like I
- 2:36Speaker 2: need this to be like my job when I leave.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'm not leaving LA and going back to college, so
- 2:41Speaker 2: I do it. I was doing it online at that time,
- 2:43Speaker 2: so I was just like, Okay, I'll take anything. So
- 2:46Speaker 2: he let me come in every day of the week,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and a couple days I would do like research where
- 2:52Speaker 2: I would just sit on the computer and like look
- 2:54Speaker 2: at what was going on, send anything to the news
- 2:56Speaker 2: desks that I thought like we should be covering. Yeah,
- 2:59Speaker 2: or I was working at their like sister company, TWOFAB,
- 3:02Speaker 2: which is more like People magazine, like totally like fun stories,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and they did bread carpet events, so then I would
- 3:09Speaker 2: go with them whenever they did like events, or would
- 3:12Speaker 2: come in on the weekends and cover award show content.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I was like editing stuff sometimes, so.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it was all over the place, and then you
- 3:21Speaker 1: just became so good at finding out all the tea
- 3:24Speaker 1: that you go incognito on the gram, right.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I mean kind of. I mean, well, so while I
- 3:31Speaker 2: was working there, eventually after I did the internship, I
- 3:34Speaker 2: got a job like working there full time and I
- 3:37Speaker 2: was in the photo department. So my job was just
- 3:39Speaker 2: like scouring Instagram like all day long, and like pitching
- 3:42Speaker 2: different pictures like Kim Kardashiant on vacation, like do we
- 3:45Speaker 2: want to put this on the site? Okay, things like that,
- 3:47Speaker 2: and putting photo galleries together. And after that, I was like, okay,
- 3:54Speaker 2: like what else do I want to do. I was
- 3:55Speaker 2: doing like freelance on the side, reporting like on the carpet.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I would go to the Kids Choice Awards, interview people.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I was just like, I want to do more. And
- 4:05Speaker 2: so I was home for Christmas one year I stumbled
- 4:08Speaker 2: upon like these like T channel videos on YouTube. I
- 4:10Speaker 2: was like, Okay, I think I could do that. It's
- 4:12Speaker 2: literally just like text on the screen talking about influencers lives.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And then I started doing it and then it kind
- 4:19Speaker 2: of like became something. In the beginning, I feel like
- 4:22Speaker 2: at that time, like mainstream media like was not covering
- 4:26Speaker 2: influencer news at all, like they care about their lives.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I feel like until like COVID, that's when they were like,
- 4:31Speaker 2: oh wait, they're actually like celebrities and people are invested
- 4:36Speaker 2: in what the heck they're doing.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They were watching like their live streams constantly all of
- 4:39Speaker 3: this during COVID, so it was like, yeah, who are
- 4:42Speaker 3: you going to pay to you know, market your product
- 4:46Speaker 3: right now?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, because you can't. Not everyone could afford the Kim
- 4:49Speaker 1: Kardashians of the world. And I feel like it did
- 4:54Speaker 1: happen during COVID because most people that like are celebrities,
- 4:59Speaker 1: like you think of the overall, you think of like
- 5:02Speaker 1: the Angelina Jolis of the world, but they're so private.
- 5:05Speaker 1: So during COVID, when no one's leaving, there's not many
- 5:08Speaker 1: stories coming out. But these influencers or reality TV people
- 5:12Speaker 1: who are their influencers, I would say they're where they
- 5:18Speaker 1: are because they shared their lives in every minute.
- 5:20Speaker 2: So yeah, and their drama there was like no rules,
- 5:23Speaker 2: like no pr nothing, so any drama. It was like
- 5:26Speaker 2: I'm going online to address this, yes, and then I
- 5:30Speaker 2: was covering that stuff. And then now over time, like
- 5:33Speaker 2: everyone's talking about influencers. Now everyone's paying attention reporting on
- 5:37Speaker 2: the mainstream media everyone. But right in the beginning when
- 5:40Speaker 2: I started, like no one was really talking about it
- 5:42Speaker 2: besides like this bubble.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so was that when you started your YouTube channel?
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, just like talking mostly about influencers, was there?
- 5:52Speaker 1: And correct me if I'm wrong. The New York Times,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you like basically exposed yourself, not exposed.
- 5:59Speaker 2: To it was anonymous. The channel was anonymous for five years,
- 6:06Speaker 2: and then I was like, Okay, was that, Rena.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Why you kept it anonymous?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Not really, I mean it was just because the first
- 6:12Speaker 2: couple of videos that I saw people talking about influencer news,
- 6:15Speaker 2: it was just text on the screen, okay, And it
- 6:17Speaker 2: was just like way easier that way. Then I was like,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I can't spell to save my life. I needed to
- 6:22Speaker 2: just do a voiceover. And I don't know, I felt
- 6:24Speaker 2: like I could be more myself or like tell jokes
- 6:27Speaker 2: or more funny if I wasn't in the videos, like
- 6:29Speaker 2: how people say you sang better in the shower, like
- 6:32Speaker 2: when no one's watching or anything like that. So that's
- 6:34Speaker 2: just kind of how I felt about it. And then
- 6:36Speaker 2: eventually I was like, Okay, I want to be able
- 6:38Speaker 2: to do more with this, and I felt like the
- 6:42Speaker 2: only way was if I, like was more front facing.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That's a pretty big deal to have the New York
- 6:48Speaker 1: Times be like, We're going to be the one to
- 6:51Speaker 1: share who you've been for the past five years. That
- 6:53Speaker 1: was right. Yeah, How did you go to them and
- 6:57Speaker 1: just say like, hey, I would like to be you know,
- 7:00Speaker 1: face on the screen now, or like how did that
- 7:03Speaker 1: come to be?
- 7:04Speaker 2: So I never thought I was gonna do a face
- 7:07Speaker 2: reveal like ever. And then I was hanging out with
- 7:09Speaker 2: my friend Sloan and he was signed with WM at
- 7:12Speaker 2: the time, and I told his agent I was like,
- 7:14Speaker 2: the only way I would ever do a face reveal,
- 7:16Speaker 2: because he was like, you guy should go on tour,
- 7:17Speaker 2: you guy should do like a podcast. Added off, I
- 7:19Speaker 2: was like, the only way I would ever do it
- 7:21Speaker 2: is if I like was working with like this one
- 7:23Speaker 2: like publicist, because I had seen other influencers work with her,
- 7:27Speaker 2: Emily Blair, and I was like, I just feel like
- 7:30Speaker 2: she would like get it right if I did a
- 7:32Speaker 2: face reveal.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So then he was like, I'll connect to you and
- 7:35Speaker 2: I was like okay. So then we started working together
- 7:37Speaker 2: and I was like all right, like, I guess I
- 7:38Speaker 2: have to do the face reveal now, And then they
- 7:41Speaker 2: did outreach and then got the New York Times. I
- 7:44Speaker 2: was shocked when they called me on the phone and
- 7:45Speaker 2: they were like, okay, the New York Times supposed to do.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I was like, what, that's a bad ac. They were like,
- 7:49Speaker 2: they're gonna come to your house and like do photos.
- 7:52Speaker 2: And I was literally shocked.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean that's like such a it's such
- 7:58Speaker 1: a prestigious publication. I imagine that you being basically faceless
- 8:04Speaker 1: for five years to bam, New York Times is covering you.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Did you feel so exposed? You're like, I'm the one
- 8:12Speaker 1: that's been sharing the nitty gritty of people's lives, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: now they're gonna be able to be.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Like, oh, that's a bit. I think I was just
- 8:21Speaker 2: so like excited and ready for it to be like done.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I think a lot of people thought I would be
- 8:26Speaker 2: like more nervous after because people would know who I was.
- 8:29Speaker 2: But honestly, before then, I was so nervous about people
- 8:32Speaker 2: just like exposing it in it being like oh, like
- 8:36Speaker 2: that's her, and it wasn't like me that got to
- 8:38Speaker 2: tell the story. So I was just happy that it
- 8:42Speaker 2: was over with, and like, I was so relieved because
- 8:44Speaker 2: I feel like people are more curious when you are
- 8:46Speaker 2: anonymous into like digging into who you are and stuff.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So I feel like they're not as much now that
- 8:51Speaker 2: it's like.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Out, Yeah, he's a good run. I not have one leak.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I know people tried, though, and I was like so
- 9:01Speaker 2: nervous about it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's like someone revealing you're pregnant, yeah, and you not
- 9:05Speaker 1: being the one that gets to announce. Yeah, what a
- 9:06Speaker 1: buzz kill? Yes, you are balls deep in all the drums.
- 9:17Speaker 1: My My first question for you do are you're into
- 9:22Speaker 1: reality TV? Obviously you have to be. Yeah, you don't
- 9:25Speaker 1: have to be, but you are you watch Mormon Wives.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I watched Mormon Wives, well.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I watched a few episodes of the first season, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: I've spoken about this on my podcast Easton and I
- 9:37Speaker 1: are from Utah, So for me, it was almost like
- 9:41Speaker 1: when you're watching and you don't. It's like me watching
- 9:45Speaker 1: like scientology, right, because I'm not connected to it. I
- 9:48Speaker 1: can sit there and.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Be like this this is crazy from like the Outsider's plane.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's crazy, right, Like I can be invested in like
- 9:57Speaker 1: what a freaking weird cult it is. Please don't march me, scientologists.
- 10:02Speaker 2: They're actually putting a hex on you right now now.
- 10:06Speaker 1: So when watching Mormon Wives, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I like grew up around girls like this where it
- 10:12Speaker 1: was like such a weird like we can't drink coffee
- 10:16Speaker 1: because there's caffeine but their face chugging diet or.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Swig, which I got to try Swig when I went
- 10:22Speaker 2: to the Hulu event where they were promoting Mormon Wives. Right,
- 10:25Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you guys, I couldn't be work. So
- 10:27Speaker 2: it was so good.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Wait, Swig had like a pop up there.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yes, was like a huge like ABC Upfronts event. The
- 10:35Speaker 2: Mormon Wives were there, which was also tea because the
- 10:39Speaker 2: season hadn't aired yet. But you could see like there
- 10:40Speaker 2: was tensions because like they just did not like not
- 10:44Speaker 2: everyone was vibing. Yeah, but they had Swig.
- 10:48Speaker 1: That's all that matters together, Like we can talk about
- 10:51Speaker 1: the drama later. Have you guys tried the coconut cream
- 10:54Speaker 1: and the diet coke? Yes, slaps so hard. So that's
- 10:59Speaker 1: why I was not watching it, but now I'm having fomo.
- 11:02Speaker 1: What is your take on on season two?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Season two was a ride I think it's so crazy
- 11:08Speaker 2: how they went from TikTok to now these like big
- 11:11Speaker 2: reality stars. I mean everyone is talking about Mormon Wives
- 11:15Speaker 2: and their mass.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Did you see their streaming numbers? It was over it
- 11:18Speaker 3: was at like one point zero five billion.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's absolutely incredible.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean everyone's talking about it right now.
- 11:25Speaker 4: So, I mean they were just in Europe for their
- 11:28Speaker 4: tour there.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Wait, not for sandor pum Villa.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Oh, I was talking about Mormon Wives.
- 11:34Speaker 1: No, I know, but they did the crossover to Villa.
- 11:37Speaker 1: They they went to Europe to like promote their show.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Yeah, because like I saw a couple of photos with
- 11:43Speaker 3: like the Mormon Wives and like on the bus it
- 11:45Speaker 3: says the Mormon Wives and it's like a photo of
- 11:47Speaker 3: all of them on like a couple of buses in London.
- 11:50Speaker 2: It looks like, in a strange way, they were on
- 11:54Speaker 2: a UK like morning show. Yeah, I'm loving it because
- 11:58Speaker 2: they're putting Utah on the map, and first so long
- 12:00Speaker 2: everyone's like Lauren from Utah, like it's an insult, And
- 12:03Speaker 2: now everyone's like, how do I get the Utah girls?
- 12:06Speaker 1: And I left their teeth and their skin.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Salon, don't go to that salon. That was the drama
- 12:11Speaker 2: of season two because one of the girls does hair,
- 12:14Speaker 2: isn't it just Jesse?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Jesse does hair, She's been doing some.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Dirty because there's some tracks.
- 12:20Speaker 5: That I'm seeing.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I know everyone was like the back of Layla's head.
- 12:25Speaker 4: And she did.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yes her hair like hair.
- 12:29Speaker 5: You could see the tracks. I was like, this is
- 12:31Speaker 5: not good.
- 12:32Speaker 2: But one of the dramas this season was that during
- 12:35Speaker 2: a fight, Jen was like, oh, well, Demi told me
- 12:39Speaker 2: not to go to your salon. She told me that
- 12:42Speaker 2: she didn't like how her hair was, so she warned
- 12:44Speaker 2: me not to get my hair done at yours. And
- 12:46Speaker 2: like Demi and Jesse are supposed to be best friends,
- 12:48Speaker 2: so he's like, why would you say that you're like
- 12:50Speaker 2: taking business away from like my salon, and she was
- 12:54Speaker 2: just like, I didn't say it, like it's taking it's
- 12:56Speaker 2: like getting taken out of context. And everyone's like, girl,
- 13:00Speaker 2: like you did your friend so dirty.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You came off worse to me or Demi.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Is like the one. Yeah, everyone is shitting on her
- 13:13Speaker 2: right now and why So she not only did she
- 13:19Speaker 2: say that about the salon, which everyone's like, Okay, you'r
- 13:20Speaker 2: a bad friend, but then also I'm like, was she
- 13:23Speaker 2: being a good friend at Taylor in that moment and
- 13:25Speaker 2: then Taylor outing that is like I think they all
- 13:29Speaker 2: weaponize things that are setting confidence to each other. In reality,
- 13:33Speaker 2: that's how you get another exactly, Like that's exactly what
- 13:36Speaker 2: they do every single time. But I think the part
- 13:39Speaker 2: about Demi being very jealous of Taylor and the opportunities
- 13:44Speaker 2: that she's been getting, that's been like the biggest thing
- 13:48Speaker 2: of the season because she's like, you know, why was
- 13:51Speaker 2: she at the award show presenting like an award and
- 13:56Speaker 2: and like she's mad at us because we didn't congratulate her.
- 13:59Speaker 2: But I feel like she was just mad, like she
- 14:01Speaker 2: didn't get that opportunity totally because she was then like
- 14:04Speaker 2: you know, why is she the one that gets to
- 14:06Speaker 2: represent mom talk? Like do we really want someone like
- 14:09Speaker 2: that to represent us like in public and stuff. I
- 14:12Speaker 2: feel like she was just mad that she didn't get
- 14:14Speaker 2: that opportunity. Yeah, and then she was like saying she
- 14:18Speaker 2: was a fan favorite last season, so like she well, I.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Mean she went through kind of a lot and her
- 14:23Speaker 1: family's I kind of rw to her, Yeah, you slept
- 14:26Speaker 1: with him that night? What does that say about You're
- 14:28Speaker 1: blaming her?
- 14:29Speaker 2: They were like, what did you expect?
- 14:31Speaker 1: They're like slutshaming. Yeah, I can't even imagine. By the way,
- 14:34Speaker 1: let me have Jesse's hair salons back for five seconds.
- 14:39Speaker 1: These are people who have had babies and that postpartum shedding,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Like you can only do to cover your tracks so
- 14:48Speaker 1: much when you don't have a lot of hair to
- 14:51Speaker 1: work with.
- 14:51Speaker 2: If someone seeing it a lot like it happens like
- 14:53Speaker 2: right here for people, and I'm.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Like, girl, I don't even want to show you mine.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I can't even wear my hair back right now, like
- 14:59Speaker 1: thank god for a trifle because i'd be fully bald,
- 15:01Speaker 1: like probably back to here. But there's only so much
- 15:04Speaker 1: someone can do. It's like you're coming in, you're wanting
- 15:06Speaker 1: thicker and longer hair. You're wanting thickness because you're shutting.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But I can't. I can't cover your tracks if you
- 15:17Speaker 1: don't have a lot.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Of unless you want me to throw some rogue in
- 15:19Speaker 5: there or something.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I don't know. It's just like it just happens with
- 15:24Speaker 1: having babies and being postpartum. So like, I don't want
- 15:26Speaker 1: to say that I had anything to do with her salon.
- 15:29Speaker 1: She's only working with what she's gotten.
- 15:31Speaker 3: From I like to believe that she's doing a couple
- 15:34Speaker 3: of the girls dirty, Oh you're a mess, the ones.
- 15:37Speaker 5: That she doesn't like it. She's like, I'm gonna leave it.
- 15:39Speaker 5: A couple of tracks out.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Wow, did you see Demi and her husband?
- 15:43Speaker 4: Did you see the way they met?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Which ones the older man me and the husband he.
- 15:50Speaker 3: For everybody that doesn't know he was on the Bachelor. Oh,
- 15:53Speaker 3: and to me, they were like family friends.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Could be a little off. I read the headline she.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Was the podcast, but allegedly to me was the one
- 16:04Speaker 3: who was like voting for him to go and do it.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Okay, okay, he nominated him.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Yeah, like nominated to go and do it and now
- 16:12Speaker 3: and they were just like family friends.
- 16:14Speaker 5: And now they're together.
- 16:15Speaker 1: By the way, though they were, they were doing it
- 16:17Speaker 1: before and after of Demy.
- 16:23Speaker 5: The hottest One.
- 16:24Speaker 2: She looks so good this season, and like there were
- 16:27Speaker 2: parts of her story that I was like, I felt
- 16:29Speaker 2: really bad for her this season because she was opening
- 16:31Speaker 2: up about infertility and her and trying.
- 16:33Speaker 1: To have a baby.
- 16:34Speaker 2: She has one, she has one, and I think he
- 16:37Speaker 2: has two sons. Okay, yeah, they're like older seventeen, he
- 16:44Speaker 2: is teenagers. And then she has the one daughter and
- 16:46Speaker 2: they're trying to have a baby, and she was like
- 16:47Speaker 2: it's been like a couple of years now that they've
- 16:50Speaker 2: been struggling. And then there was like this game that
- 16:53Speaker 2: they made them all play where they did like pregnancy
- 16:56Speaker 2: test Roulette, So all the girls like Pete on sticks
- 17:00Speaker 2: and two of them were pregnant. But of course it's
- 17:02Speaker 2: Demi that picks up the positive pregnancy test in the game,
- 17:06Speaker 2: but it's like not her that's pregnant. Also, she's like
- 17:10Speaker 2: crying and it's really sad, and everyone's like so effed
- 17:12Speaker 2: up that they made the do that.
- 17:15Speaker 1: That sounds fucking awesome producers are.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I was like they were so easy for that, and
- 17:22Speaker 2: then it kind of ruined it, like kind of ruined
- 17:25Speaker 2: like the other two girls like announcing that they were
- 17:27Speaker 2: pregnant because then they feel bad, like she's crying and
- 17:30Speaker 2: then they have to be like.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Hey, but as you were really appreciate the game, as
- 17:36Speaker 1: if view were to be I I will really appreciate
- 17:39Speaker 1: that game.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Well, I was like, if they really didn't want to
- 17:41Speaker 2: say they were pregnant, like just did that ship in
- 17:43Speaker 2: the water, like what you didn't have to pee on it?
- 17:45Speaker 2: For real? If you were treat because the one girl
- 17:47Speaker 2: was like, I just found out I was pregnant, Like
- 17:49Speaker 2: I don't want to let the girls know yet, it's
- 17:50Speaker 2: too early. I was like, dip it in the water.
- 17:53Speaker 2: What did they all go in the bathroom together and
- 17:55Speaker 2: watch each other pee or what? You just fake it?
- 17:57Speaker 1: You just fake it? Yeah, totally.
- 18:01Speaker 5: We all get to see sort of.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it is a little prisony, like a little bit coulty,
- 18:05Speaker 1: and they like formed.
- 18:07Speaker 5: Talking about like peeing on the stick when they're lot.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I know, but it is like we're going to see
- 18:11Speaker 1: if you pee on it for real. What I do
- 18:13Speaker 1: like about the show is I think when you have
- 18:17Speaker 1: it happened with Sister Wives as well. They think that
- 18:21Speaker 1: they live a very normal life, like it's how they've
- 18:25Speaker 1: been raised, and then all of the sudden they're on
- 18:27Speaker 1: a show and they have the outside world saying you
- 18:32Speaker 1: know that this is not normal, and a lot of
- 18:34Speaker 1: the Sister Wives like broke free. Yeah, they're like, wait,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I don't have to live this way. There's like life outside,
- 18:41Speaker 1: And so I'm seeing they're always going to have like
- 18:44Speaker 1: the residual effect of being in such a culty religion,
- 18:48Speaker 1: Like even my dad who was raised LDS. He left
- 18:51Speaker 1: the church at twenty two, so well before East and
- 18:55Speaker 1: I were born.
- 18:56Speaker 3: He yes, because he didn't go on a mission, right, No, No,
- 18:59Speaker 3: I thought he left earlier.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Good to know.
- 19:02Speaker 1: There were little things throughout our childhood that would be like,
- 19:06Speaker 1: why are you like this doesn't matter? Why are you
- 19:09Speaker 1: feeling guilty about this? And it's because when you have
- 19:14Speaker 1: been raised that way for so many years, it's just
- 19:17Speaker 1: kind of like you've been kind of brainwashed into thinking
- 19:20Speaker 1: that you should feel shamed during certain moments. But I'm
- 19:23Speaker 1: hoping that with these Mormon wives, and I've noticed it
- 19:28Speaker 1: with a few of them already. But I was listening
- 19:31Speaker 1: to an interview with Taylor Frankie Paul and she was
- 19:34Speaker 1: talking about how hard it is to kind of get
- 19:38Speaker 1: rid of the guilt that she feels because she had
- 19:42Speaker 1: the baby out of wedlock. That was a guilt. There's
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know, supposed to be like you're not supposed to divorce, right,
- 19:50Speaker 1: And she had all of these things on top of
- 19:51Speaker 1: her family kind of shaming her. And I hope that
- 19:55Speaker 1: they don't wear these like indiscrepancies throughout their higher lives
- 20:01Speaker 1: because the end of the season, there is something about
- 20:06Speaker 1: like infidelity between a vander pump villa. It's so weird
- 20:10Speaker 1: how the world's are classed.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I know they're all colliding. I'm like, what the heck
- 20:14Speaker 2: is going on?
- 20:14Speaker 1: And then I spill like the tiniest bit of tea
- 20:16Speaker 1: to you.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Let's hear.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Okay. So my friend Sena is it was dear friends
- 20:23Speaker 1: with Marciano, Like I mean, every time he would come out,
- 20:26Speaker 1: he would stay with her. We would have barbecues at
- 20:31Speaker 1: like where our kids go to school, and he would
- 20:35Speaker 1: come to those like he was like in it thick, right,
- 20:39Speaker 1: And he was in town for Shina's birthday but wasn't
- 20:43Speaker 1: invited to her birthday party. And when I'm just about
- 20:48Speaker 1: to leave the birthday party, that to me, and her
- 20:52Speaker 1: husband show up there.
- 20:54Speaker 2: But the husband is interesting okay.
- 20:56Speaker 1: And I'm like, and I have never met them before. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: obviously I know what Demi looks like because I look
- 21:04Speaker 1: at her face and go, whatever you did, it's fucking fantastic,
- 21:07Speaker 1: and I want it. I won't that, but I was like, wow,
- 21:12Speaker 1: it's like, hmm, it's trickled in so thick that even
- 21:15Speaker 1: at a birthday party where there's like two hundred people invited, like,
- 21:18Speaker 1: we can't have them crossing paths.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So how did this season end because it ended with
- 21:23Speaker 1: a two be continued.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I heard it ended with a two be continued. But
- 21:27Speaker 2: one of the big storylines throughout the season was that
- 21:30Speaker 2: Jen was talking about Demi when they had gone to
- 21:34Speaker 2: vander pump Villa, and she was saying that her and
- 21:37Speaker 2: Marciano were like being very flirty with each other. He
- 21:41Speaker 2: was flirting with her, she was flirting back, and that
- 21:43Speaker 2: it was just like kind of inappropriate because she's married.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And so at the end of the season, Leyla is like, Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I know, Marciano. I want to get the tea directly
- 21:52Speaker 2: from the source. We've heard Demise say that Jen is
- 21:55Speaker 2: just lying, she's making up these lives about her, and
- 21:57Speaker 2: so she's like, I want to ask. I want to
- 22:00Speaker 2: see what his side of the story is. So he's like, well, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 2: like she gets there. I'm flirty, I'm interested, she's like
- 22:08Speaker 2: flirting back. But that's not even the real tea. The
- 22:11Speaker 2: real tea is that I like was with Jesse and
- 22:14Speaker 2: I'm like, what whoa, whoa whoo because everyone's like, Okay,
- 22:18Speaker 2: it's only about him and to me, But there was
- 22:23Speaker 2: like I think one of the girls, I think it's
- 22:26Speaker 2: this was where it came from. Like Macy does like
- 22:29Speaker 2: Sunday like tea stuff, like she gets like DMSKA and
- 22:33Speaker 2: she like reads them and talks about the tea. And
- 22:37Speaker 2: someone was saying that they saw like Jesse and Marciana
- 22:40Speaker 2: like kiss and she was like that's obviously fake, like deny, deny, deny,
- 22:44Speaker 2: Like that's like we weren't even like in the same place.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Like there's just no way. So then at the end
- 22:49Speaker 2: of the season, he's like, oh, yeah, like we were together.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Like they had sex, they hooked up.
- 22:54Speaker 2: It's like they like were together like romantically in some capacity.
- 22:58Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, wait a minute, that was that
- 23:01Speaker 2: I thought we that was denied, So what do you mean, Well,
- 23:04Speaker 2: is that the beef then? I mean it's it's led
- 23:07Speaker 2: to something. There's drama, so much drama now because they're
- 23:11Speaker 2: online talking about it's like now that the show has
- 23:13Speaker 2: ended and it's like out and they can like talk
- 23:15Speaker 2: about this. Marciano's like on Instagram stories and he's like
- 23:20Speaker 2: talking about this. He's like, you know, there's lies being said.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It's just like crazy. Everything is just crazy right now.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I have heard I've heard this cannot be confirmed, but
- 23:36Speaker 1: that Marciano has a contract for the next season. I
- 23:41Speaker 1: mean now that I can't be confirmed or denied.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I mean it makes sense in the two we continue
- 23:49Speaker 2: with him being the cliffhanger he's got the second half.
- 23:54Speaker 1: It's interesting to me that they saved this storyline for
- 23:57Speaker 1: Mormon Wives and didn't give it any light of day
- 24:00Speaker 1: on villa. Yeah, is that? Did you watch vander Pum Villa?
- 24:03Speaker 5: Uh huh? I mean it was.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It's literally like the whole plot of this season, Like
- 24:08Speaker 2: they're talking about it in almost every episode. Yeah, and
- 24:12Speaker 2: they're showing like little bits and clips here and there
- 24:15Speaker 2: at the villa.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Well that's where all the tea went. And and I
- 24:19Speaker 1: would say, like maybe that's why they got their their
- 24:23Speaker 1: second and third season all in one, But that happened
- 24:26Speaker 1: well after they signed their contracts for two, and I
- 24:30Speaker 1: think that that's how Selling Sunset does their seasons as well.
- 24:34Speaker 1: They filmed two at a time, which sounds awesome to
- 24:39Speaker 1: just knock it out, but I'm really curious to see,
- 24:43Speaker 1: like who's going to get divorced next year.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Well, Jesse was not wearing her ring when she went
- 24:49Speaker 2: on file files and they were like, we see you're
- 24:52Speaker 2: not wearing your ring, and she was like, we're working
- 24:54Speaker 2: through some things right now.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Yeah, you fucking Marciano.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah she has been wearing her ring.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he's probably If I was her husband, I
- 25:07Speaker 3: think i'd be a little bit pissed off a lot.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I'd be saying, get out of my house and go
- 25:12Speaker 3: live at your salon, or get out of our house,
- 25:18Speaker 3: or I'll get out of your sleep in.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That salon that soon no one will be going to.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Maybe he's the one that's telling everyone not to go.
- 25:25Speaker 5: He's like, the tracks are terrible, don't go.
- 25:27Speaker 2: It's going to come on. She's like, you, guys, we
- 25:28Speaker 2: were swingers too, like imagined cover story.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That's going to be a cover up if that they
- 25:34Speaker 1: worked through it and then they're going to have something
- 25:36Speaker 1: like that.
- 25:37Speaker 5: But I thought swingers had to like do it at
- 25:38Speaker 5: the same time.
- 25:39Speaker 1: You know. That's the perfect test though, to see if
- 25:42Speaker 1: Jesse actually knows how to do hair, because if Marciana
- 25:44Speaker 1: was pulling on them tracks and they stayed in, I'd say,
- 25:47Speaker 1: five stars, five stars, everyone go. The next thing I
- 25:53Speaker 1: want to talk to you about is the Blake Lively
- 25:55Speaker 1: and Justin Baldoni, is how you say his that name? Right?
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm so okay? Are people on his side or hers?
- 26:03Speaker 2: People are on his side?
- 26:05Speaker 1: It's a little, it's a little, it's a little.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Johnny Debamber heard a little.
- 26:10Speaker 1: It's a lot a bit that right, And I feel
- 26:11Speaker 1: like that changed the entire game that was televised. Everyone
- 26:16Speaker 1: was so invested, Yeah, is this happening now or are
- 26:21Speaker 1: they just getting their ducks in the road. They're in discovery.
- 26:24Speaker 2: The trial is next year in March. We are so
- 26:27Speaker 2: far away from the actual trial happening of twenty twenty six.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six, that's the trial. So you guys like,
- 26:38Speaker 2: it's only the beginning, and there's so much drama it's insane.
- 26:41Speaker 1: How did it start?
- 26:43Speaker 2: So it kind of started, not the legal process, but
- 26:46Speaker 2: the drama. It started last summer. The movie It Ends
- 26:49Speaker 2: with Us was about to come out, and people noticed
- 26:52Speaker 2: that at the beginning of the movie about to come out,
- 26:56Speaker 2: Justin and Colleen Hoover, who wrote the book, they're like
- 26:59Speaker 2: arm in arm doing like e interviews together, and then
- 27:03Speaker 2: all of a sudden, everybody's like, Okay, the movie's actually
- 27:07Speaker 2: about to come out and no one's doing press with Justin.
- 27:09Speaker 2: He's doing it by himself. Blake is doing press with
- 27:11Speaker 2: like all the other cast members. She's arm in arm
- 27:14Speaker 2: with Colleen Hoover, and then the cast starts unfollowing Justin.
- 27:17Speaker 2: So everyone's like, Okay, something's up. This guy's like bad news.
- 27:21Speaker 2: What the heck? So as this is going on, people
- 27:25Speaker 2: are wanting answers, they're not really getting them. It comes
- 27:29Speaker 2: out that he was like weird on set. But then
- 27:34Speaker 2: there are stories that are coming out that like Blake
- 27:35Speaker 2: was kind of controlling the movie, and then people did
- 27:39Speaker 2: not like the way that Blake was in these interviews.
- 27:42Speaker 2: She's promoting this movie, which is about domestic violence. It's
- 27:45Speaker 2: like a big part of the movie, and that's obviously
- 27:48Speaker 2: a really serious subject. So when the movie is being
- 27:51Speaker 2: promoted as like a rom com where like where your
- 27:53Speaker 2: florals grab your besties, like let's hang and have a
- 27:56Speaker 2: good time, they're selling nail polish and collaboration with this
- 27:59Speaker 2: movie was like, you know, I don't like this vibe
- 28:02Speaker 2: at all. It feels really inappropriate. And she's promoting her
- 28:05Speaker 2: hair care line at the same time. Everyone's just like,
- 28:07Speaker 2: I don't like this. It's not good, and so then
- 28:12Speaker 2: we find I feel like at that point she was
- 28:14Speaker 2: getting like canceled, but she wasn't addressing it at all.
- 28:17Speaker 2: In December, this was like in August, like summertime, the
- 28:20Speaker 2: movie came out. Then in December it comes out in
- 28:25Speaker 2: this huge New York Times article that like Blake not
- 28:32Speaker 2: that like she had filed a lawsuit, but it came
- 28:35Speaker 2: out that she had felt her reputation was being purposely
- 28:39Speaker 2: ruined by Justin Maldoni and his team.
- 28:42Speaker 1: So she felt that it wasn't that the audience watching
- 28:46Speaker 1: was responsible. She felt like a third party was driving
- 28:49Speaker 1: the narrative of your insensitive and promoting shit that has
- 28:53Speaker 1: nothing to do with the movie for this movie.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yes, like understood. She was blaming Justin for ruining her
- 28:59Speaker 2: reputation and having hired this pr team, like this crisis
- 29:05Speaker 2: management team to like plant these stories that were negative
- 29:09Speaker 2: about her in the press to get everyone to like
- 29:12Speaker 2: hate her. She was like, you know, the public didn't
- 29:15Speaker 2: hate me because of something I did. It was because
- 29:17Speaker 2: of Justin everything that him and his team were you know,
- 29:20Speaker 2: having planted. That's why I was getting canceled, And like
- 29:22Speaker 2: my career is like damaged because of this.
- 29:26Speaker 1: So that's how it started.
- 29:27Speaker 2: This is how it really began.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yes, and then how soon after did the lawsuit come
- 29:34Speaker 1: because she claims that he was inappropriate with her on set?
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, so she she has said a lot of
- 29:42Speaker 2: things like when this New York Times article came out,
- 29:45Speaker 2: everyone was reading through her complaint. The New York Times
- 29:49Speaker 2: published her complaint on Justin and everyone was reading through
- 29:54Speaker 2: this thinking he is disgusting. I mean I remember reading
- 29:57Speaker 2: it and just being like, everybody needs to see this,
- 29:59Speaker 2: Like everybody was hating on her, needs to read this,
- 30:03Speaker 2: because she was talking about having filmed these, you know
- 30:06Speaker 2: scenes like the birthing scene of the movie, and you know,
- 30:10Speaker 2: she's being shown porn on set and like his friend
- 30:13Speaker 2: is playing the doctor like in this birthing scene, and
- 30:16Speaker 2: she's like he told her like she needed to be
- 30:18Speaker 2: naked because his wife was naked when she gave birth,
- 30:20Speaker 2: and she's like so uncomfortable. He's improvising scenes where they're
- 30:24Speaker 2: kissing and it was definitely so gross, like the stuff
- 30:29Speaker 2: that you're you're reading about. And then of course the
- 30:32Speaker 2: way that the text messages are shown in her complaint
- 30:35Speaker 2: and in the New York Times article, it does look
- 30:38Speaker 2: like his team was like plodding and planning to like
- 30:41Speaker 2: ruin her reputation. Now, Justin then comes back and he's like, ah,
- 30:46Speaker 2: like these are cherry picked messages, like this is not
- 30:49Speaker 2: the full context of what happened, and a lot of
- 30:53Speaker 2: this is just not true, like she's trying to like
- 30:55Speaker 2: ruin my reputation. So then he files this like huge,
- 31:00Speaker 2: like four hundred million dollar lawsuit against her, Ryan Reynolds
- 31:05Speaker 2: and their publicist, Leslie Sloan, and he's just like, you
- 31:09Speaker 2: guys tried to ruin me, and she tried to take
- 31:12Speaker 2: over my movie, and that's simply what happened. And he's
- 31:14Speaker 2: exposing the fact that like her being married to Ryan
- 31:18Speaker 2: Reynolds and her best friend being Taylor Swift, like she
- 31:20Speaker 2: tried to use like all these A list people to
- 31:22Speaker 2: like pressure me into like using her scripts and like
- 31:25Speaker 2: just completely took over the movie. So then everyone's like,
- 31:27Speaker 2: oh my gosh, like you know, maybe Justin's like ry
- 31:30Speaker 2: like I feel really bad for Justin. And then his
- 31:33Speaker 2: team's like so vocal. His lawyer is going on like
- 31:37Speaker 2: all these interviews and they release like an unedited scene
- 31:42Speaker 2: from the movie where they're filming this dance sequence, and
- 31:46Speaker 2: in Blake's complaint, she's talking about the fact that in
- 31:51Speaker 2: this scene Justin was improvising kisses and she was super uncomfortable.
- 31:58Speaker 2: And then in the footage see that like she's talking
- 32:01Speaker 2: to Justin and she's like trying to like direct him.
- 32:04Speaker 2: She's like, I think we should be talking in the
- 32:05Speaker 2: scene and he's like, no, I don't. I don't think
- 32:08Speaker 2: we should be like talking, and like they're trying to dance,
- 32:12Speaker 2: and everyone's like, this is just not what she was
- 32:14Speaker 2: describing in her scene where he's like being inappropriate, and
- 32:18Speaker 2: so then everyone starts to question her, and I feel
- 32:22Speaker 2: like that's kind of been the thing where everyone's like
- 32:25Speaker 2: there's so much being said, and I think, you know,
- 32:29Speaker 2: given the whole press tour and people not really liking
- 32:32Speaker 2: her through that, they're just like, I wish she would
- 32:35Speaker 2: just own that she may have had a hand in
- 32:37Speaker 2: ruining her own reputation. That seems to be like the
- 32:39Speaker 2: public's opinion here, because I feel like, at the end
- 32:44Speaker 2: of the day, if this, you know, really does go
- 32:47Speaker 2: all the way through, you know, she's trying to get
- 32:48Speaker 2: it dismissed, but if they go to trial, and even
- 32:50Speaker 2: if she's.
- 32:50Speaker 1: She's trying to get it dismissed. She's she's saying, I
- 32:55Speaker 1: don't want any part of this, and he's saying, you
- 32:58Speaker 1: fucked with the wrong person.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, she's trying to get it dismissed. There's
- 33:05Speaker 2: a California law that protects people from who speak out
- 33:09Speaker 2: against sexual harassment. If you were like sexually harassed in
- 33:13Speaker 2: the workplace, if you come out and sue, then you're
- 33:16Speaker 2: protected from like a defamation case. But her team is
- 33:21Speaker 2: like and also like there's a lot of advocacy groups
- 33:24Speaker 2: that are on her side, you know, really writing for
- 33:27Speaker 2: her in this where they're trying to say that he's
- 33:29Speaker 2: trying to silence like a victim, and so they're trying
- 33:32Speaker 2: to get the case tossed out under those terms. But
- 33:36Speaker 2: I'm like, I think even if they go to trial
- 33:39Speaker 2: and she wins, you know, the public still will be
- 33:42Speaker 2: not on her side, which is like, I never want
- 33:46Speaker 2: to like talk like that about someone who's coming out
- 33:49Speaker 2: saying something happen to them. But I think, like in
- 33:52Speaker 2: this case where people are seeing like the raw footage
- 33:55Speaker 2: and it didn't line up with what she originally put
- 33:57Speaker 2: in her complaint, and then she came out like amended
- 34:00Speaker 2: her complaint and was like, Okay, well this is this
- 34:02Speaker 2: is what happened.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's almost like we want accountability from her now.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I'm like, I think she could take a little bit
- 34:09Speaker 2: of accountability for like the way I promoted the movie
- 34:12Speaker 2: wasn't great, but at the root of it, like this
- 34:15Speaker 2: sits in this happen.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 2: But I feel like because her and Ryan Reynolds are
- 34:18Speaker 2: going on like SNL and they're cracking jokes about like,
- 34:21Speaker 2: oh what have you heard like in reference to like
- 34:25Speaker 2: them like being in the news and right that's yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 2: like that's the stuff that people are just like, there's
- 34:32Speaker 2: something about you guys feeling really I don't know, like
- 34:36Speaker 2: you guys are like overly confident that people just don't
- 34:39Speaker 2: like it. It feels like stand off, like.
- 34:41Speaker 5: They're untouchable in a sense.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Yeah, do you think of it. It's going to result
- 34:45Speaker 1: in kind of like an Ashton Kutcher Mila Kunis, We're
- 34:48Speaker 1: leaving Hollywood and we don't want any part of it anymore.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I think maybe I feel like they definitely should take
- 34:55Speaker 2: a break and like really not be in the Oh
- 35:00Speaker 2: my gosh for the team.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yes, that shows thriving.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, which some people are like, dang, like
- 35:06Speaker 2: I wish this druggle was going on because they really
- 35:09Speaker 2: like that and we're really like Ryan Reynolds, but like
- 35:11Speaker 2: him being in this, everyone's getting like a bad taste
- 35:14Speaker 2: in their mouth. And then the whole drama of Taylor
- 35:16Speaker 2: Swift being dragged into it, well, it's been a whole
- 35:18Speaker 2: other thing.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Right, and they're not. I mean I've heard that.
- 35:21Speaker 2: T Swift is pissed, yes, and his dad is getting involved.
- 35:25Speaker 2: To Taylor Swift's dad, Taylor.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Swift has now been subpoenut or something.
- 35:32Speaker 2: They withdrawn it since like I think I was like.
- 35:35Speaker 1: A deposition or something.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Yeah. So basically, in some text messages that Blake was
- 35:42Speaker 2: talking with Justin, she was saying that, you know, I
- 35:44Speaker 2: had these dragons, and she was referencing Taylor and Ryan
- 35:49Speaker 2: being like her dragons, meaning like, you know, they're obviously
- 35:52Speaker 2: very powerful people. They can either work really great with
- 35:55Speaker 2: you or you know, I'll pull them out and they're
- 35:57Speaker 2: my dragons, and was feeling like threaten a bit that
- 36:02Speaker 2: like I have to use Blake's version of the script
- 36:04Speaker 2: or like she's gonna freaking like use her dragons against me, like,
- 36:07Speaker 2: I feel really pressured to go with whatever she's wanting.
- 36:10Speaker 5: I feel.
- 36:13Speaker 4: It clown.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and so.
- 36:19Speaker 1: She thinks she's in Game of Thrones or something she did.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Yeah, she was like, I'm Kalisi and there my dragons, my.
- 36:26Speaker 5: Eyes cooking out crazy right now?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you know I was. I have not been a
- 36:35Speaker 1: fan of hers. Take out what's happening. I just have
- 36:38Speaker 1: never really been drawn to her ever since Sisterhood of
- 36:42Speaker 1: the Traveling Pants.
- 36:44Speaker 2: In Ryan though, because people have liked them as a
- 36:47Speaker 2: couple like people have before all of this. People were like, oh,
- 36:50Speaker 2: they're one of like the strong couples in Hollywood. At
- 36:54Speaker 2: the met gala, people were like, we love that.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I've heard in Deadpool. I can't remember his name. He's
- 37:02Speaker 3: a very funny. He's got curly hair. He works behind
- 37:04Speaker 3: the bar. If you've seen Deadpool, but this gentleman, Okay,
- 37:10Speaker 3: he wouldn't work on like Deadpool three or like the
- 37:12Speaker 3: other Deadpool Wolverine, and like Ryan Gosling and him were
- 37:16Speaker 3: kind of going at it.
- 37:17Speaker 1: And by the way, Ryan Gosling.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Or is that who it is? Ryan Reynolds?
- 37:24Speaker 1: Sorry, Ryan's I prefer the Gospel mill.
- 37:28Speaker 5: TJ. Miller him.
- 37:30Speaker 3: So he was in Deadpool and Deadpool two and he
- 37:33Speaker 3: said that like he was the biggest asshole, wow, and
- 37:37Speaker 3: like everything because Deadpool he like kind of throws shots
- 37:41Speaker 3: like he's witty and it's but like he was doing that, yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 3: and he was doing it offset so like he was
- 37:50Speaker 3: like making fun of him, but like just very raw
- 37:53Speaker 3: dry like it was on and he was like at
- 37:55Speaker 3: some point he was like, you mean this shit right?
- 37:59Speaker 3: And so he didn't do Wolverine or whatever, and he
- 38:01Speaker 3: was like, yeah, he Ryan's a dick.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Do you feel just doesn't land these days?
- 38:07Speaker 1: Like Lincoln Hyans like you couldn't you You can't have
- 38:12Speaker 1: such an abrupt and intense take on something that happened
- 38:18Speaker 1: on a film, like you said that the main thing
- 38:22Speaker 1: is about domestic violence and then when it doesn't really
- 38:25Speaker 1: go the way that you thought, start making jokes about it.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 1: And that law that you were talking about, I feel like,
- 38:33Speaker 1: is that a new Is that a newer law? I know,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Joe Biden newer?
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what year it was, but it
- 38:39Speaker 2: is newer and it's in California only, or like Calvary
- 38:43Speaker 2: is one of those states that has it.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, Okay, by the way, I love that law. Yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 1: and I think that's what's so difficult about this is
- 38:53Speaker 1: you you really can't say because none of us were
- 38:56Speaker 1: actually there. Yeah, it's all about perspective. You can't say
- 39:01Speaker 1: that someone shouldn't feel uncomfortable like what I may think
- 39:05Speaker 1: is not a big deal. Like I remember one of
- 39:06Speaker 1: the text messages I think was you know, he had
- 39:11Speaker 1: texted Blake saying I'm sure you're pumping your boobs or
- 39:15Speaker 1: sorry to bother, you probably pumping your tits or something
- 39:17Speaker 1: like that, and that was one of the text messages
- 39:20Speaker 1: that she submitted. He said there were multiple times that
- 39:25Speaker 1: I knocked on her trailer door and she would tell
- 39:28Speaker 1: me to come in while she was pumping. It's like, okay,
- 39:32Speaker 1: number one, if I'm inviting you in while I'm pumping, great,
- 39:35Speaker 1: Still doesn't give you the right to text me like
- 39:38Speaker 1: you're probably pumping your tits, you know, like me left
- 39:43Speaker 1: and it could have been boobs, it could have.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Pumping.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Is just like you're probably pumping there. That's not as
- 39:53Speaker 3: aggressive as pumping your tits.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I don't know that he said anything like that. It
- 39:59Speaker 1: made her feel unomfortable. Yeah, something that would not rock
- 40:03Speaker 1: my world in any way could really really rock someone
- 40:06Speaker 1: else's world. And it's no one's place to say, like
- 40:10Speaker 1: what's not a big deal and what is a big deal?
- 40:13Speaker 1: But I do understand how people are being rubbed the
- 40:15Speaker 1: wrong way because of the backtracking and then doing this,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and now it's like just kind of disappear off the
- 40:20Speaker 1: face of the earth. And also, how are you going
- 40:23Speaker 1: to refer to t Swift as your dragon and then
- 40:26Speaker 1: fuck with her life like that? Yeah, especially because like
- 40:29Speaker 1: iss she pregnant.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It's it's gotten so dirty, the whole tailor and Blake
- 40:35Speaker 2: of it all because Justin and his team they subpoena
- 40:39Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. And once this happened, then his lawyer comes
- 40:44Speaker 2: out and he was like, well, Blake Lively actually threatened
- 40:46Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. Everyone's like what, and Blake's teams like this
- 40:50Speaker 2: is irrelevant, toss.
- 40:51Speaker 1: This out irrelevant.
- 40:55Speaker 2: His lawyer doubles down. He's like, no, no, no, I'll sign
- 40:58Speaker 2: under penalty of perjury that this is one hundred percent true.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I got a phone call on Valentine's Day from someone
- 41:04Speaker 2: very close to Taylor Swift saying that Blake Lively, you know,
- 41:08Speaker 2: threatened Taylor and was like, if you do not show
- 41:11Speaker 2: support to me, I will leak like ten years of
- 41:14Speaker 2: like the like our text messages will come out, not
- 41:16Speaker 2: like leak. But I don't know if this meant like blackmail. Yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 2: it was essentially blackmail. But then she then it came
- 41:23Speaker 2: out this person told Justin's lawyer that previously she had
- 41:29Speaker 2: told Blake had told Taylor to delete some text messages
- 41:32Speaker 2: between them. I don't know if it's because like someone
- 41:35Speaker 2: was about to have her phone or whatnot, but this
- 41:38Speaker 2: was apparently something that was said and he signed. He
- 41:41Speaker 2: was like under penalty of perjury. This one hundred percent happened.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And then it came out that it was her dad.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Taylor Swift's dad was the one that told Brian Friedman
- 41:50Speaker 2: this information. And apparently the subpoena was then dropped because
- 41:55Speaker 2: the information was provided like whatever they were seeking. I
- 41:58Speaker 2: think it was like page six report that whatever they
- 42:02Speaker 2: had been wanting from the subpoena like was provided to them,
- 42:05Speaker 2: so they dropped the spoena. But I'm like, oh my gosh, yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 2: it's like one hundred percent. You know, she's got to
- 42:13Speaker 2: be pissed if her freaking dad is getting involved in
- 42:15Speaker 2: being like this what happened because because Blake did not
- 42:18Speaker 2: go to the super Bowl, so she still wanted it
- 42:20Speaker 2: to seem like her and Taylor were like on good terms,
- 42:22Speaker 2: so she wanted Tailor to like show support.
- 42:24Speaker 1: What an exhausting life. Yeah right right.
- 42:28Speaker 2: But I'm like, Okay, how is all of this like
- 42:30Speaker 2: you think like the public is going to like you?
- 42:32Speaker 2: Because I feel like she could very much say things
- 42:36Speaker 2: happened to her on set that is so different than
- 42:39Speaker 2: like her being like justin like ruined my reputation, because
- 42:42Speaker 2: I think that's the part that people are like clowning
- 42:43Speaker 2: her over like you did that to yourself, and even
- 42:46Speaker 2: till like right now, people are like you going after
- 42:49Speaker 2: Taylor Swift, who's like super beloved by so many people,
- 42:53Speaker 2: ruining your reputation Swift.
- 42:55Speaker 1: There's literally not a worse human to like.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Come aft than Taylor Swift.
- 43:01Speaker 1: No, truly, she's she's the world's sweetheart. Like I wasn't
- 43:06Speaker 1: really that, and they'll come for me. That's why I
- 43:08Speaker 1: always have to say when I say I wasn't into
- 43:11Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, it doesn't mean I didn't like her. She
- 43:14Speaker 1: just wasn't in my iTunes.
- 43:16Speaker 5: I don't.
- 43:24Speaker 2: For us.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Once I had my daughter Ocean, I was like, think,
- 43:28Speaker 1: you know, we're watching YouTube videos and WOP comes on,
- 43:31Speaker 1: which you know I start working to. But I'm like, wait,
- 43:34Speaker 1: hold on, we can we can't have this to know
- 43:36Speaker 1: that someone like Taylor Swift exists, exists in the world
- 43:40Speaker 1: and at such a high level for my kids to watch.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Not but like learn after she creates her own songs drums.
- 43:47Speaker 1: No, but I mean watch her videos on Instagram and
- 43:50Speaker 1: like she's truly an inspiring human. She keeps it PG
- 43:55Speaker 1: And I do want to ask you very quickly, do
- 43:58Speaker 1: you think that she and Travis Kelsey are expecting.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 44:03Speaker 5: I thought I read something allegedly.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Did you read it or hear it? Did you hear
- 44:09Speaker 1: it on TikTok?
- 44:09Speaker 3: I think I heard it on TikTok. It was like
- 44:12Speaker 3: a spiel and this girl was digging in depth thing.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Have has anyone seen them?
- 44:22Speaker 2: She had like a little girl's night out with Selena and.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Bennie Benny get me a car.
- 44:28Speaker 2: But there was a photo of her where she's like
- 44:30Speaker 2: walking and then like she's walking in front of a car,
- 44:33Speaker 2: and like the way that the photo is like the
- 44:35Speaker 2: hood of the like the front of the car looked
- 44:37Speaker 2: like a bump, but it was kind of like like
- 44:40Speaker 2: the car was black and she's wearing black, so it
- 44:42Speaker 2: kind of looked like a bump for a second. And
- 44:44Speaker 2: someone was like, wait a minute. I thought, for a second.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Given that happened with Kylie Jenner, like a pregnancy thing.
- 44:53Speaker 1: But it's a little bit of her bag. She's carrying.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Timothy Shalama. Baby. I love them so much.
- 45:03Speaker 2: She looks so happy.
- 45:04Speaker 1: She's reading Oh my God, the natural looks.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Like the relationship isn't like hard.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Yes, there's no effort in it, it's just there.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It does look fun, and I love that she reposted
- 45:19Speaker 1: that Samantha, I don't get.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Late lest next way.
- 45:23Speaker 1: She didn't get late.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I know she didn't. Well she did like that first night,
- 45:27Speaker 2: so it's fine.
- 45:28Speaker 1: But can I tell you he's swinging big dick because
- 45:32Speaker 1: you don't have someone like Kylie.
- 45:34Speaker 5: Jenner that's taking Tiger that we all know what.
- 45:40Speaker 1: With his only family I have.
- 45:43Speaker 3: He gives me Davidson energy like he's got a try
- 45:47Speaker 3: we'll call him Tripod.
- 45:48Speaker 1: From He's handling that ass. And I'm so happy.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with them, like everything about the two of them, Like,
- 45:57Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but when they are
- 45:59Speaker 2: together at those freaking games recently, I'm like, she's giving
- 46:01Speaker 2: like normal girl.
- 46:03Speaker 5: That's the one thing I love how.
- 46:04Speaker 2: She's give me. She's just a drop rest up.
- 46:06Speaker 3: He is like all the nick ship and then she's
- 46:08Speaker 3: just like in a like small black and just something.
- 46:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:12Speaker 1: No, she's so fucking cute right now. Yeah, I'm very
- 46:16Speaker 1: very into it.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Me too.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Do you think that they would have a baby though
- 46:19Speaker 1: the Kardashians are notorious for like well Courtney broke it.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Though Courtney did have another baby with her now husband,
- 46:27Speaker 1: but like they've kind of all kept the kids in
- 46:29Speaker 1: the fam.
- 46:30Speaker 2: I know. I want them to have a baby though.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I do too, not like anytime soon, but like I
- 46:35Speaker 2: want it to happen. I want them to last.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I guarantee.
- 46:39Speaker 5: You next year at this time, we'll get it, and
- 46:40Speaker 5: we'll get it the reveal.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Yeah, after he goes away this summer to film Dune, she.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Will come home back and he'll be doing it.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Get over here, I guarantee.
- 46:51Speaker 3: And then when he's going and doing the press for Dune,
- 46:53Speaker 3: they'll they'll reveal it, reveal.
- 46:55Speaker 1: It Oh my god, I'm up making it now with
- 46:58Speaker 1: all of the Okay, so before I let you go,
- 47:01Speaker 1: I have some questions that I want to wrap the
- 47:03Speaker 1: episode up with, and then you guys, I'm going to
- 47:07Speaker 1: keep Christy on for the bonus where we can deep
- 47:12Speaker 1: dive into the Diddy stuff because that's a lot. It's
- 47:15Speaker 1: a lot. So the first question is, how do you
- 47:19Speaker 1: feel about Justin Bieber slash the Haley Bieber situation?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Listen, this is a wild situation because I feel like
- 47:30Speaker 2: ever since Haley did the road deal, the like one
- 47:33Speaker 2: billion dollars sold Road to Health.
- 47:36Speaker 1: How long ago was that last week? Okay, so a
- 47:38Speaker 1: week ago she sold Road Yes to ELF for a
- 47:44Speaker 1: billion dollars?
- 47:45Speaker 2: Yes?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Yeah, does that mean she gets a billion dollars?
- 47:48Speaker 5: No, you got to put your team.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Investors, so she'll only get like a cool five Yeah,
- 47:57Speaker 2: just a little crumb, you know, just a crumb of it.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 2: It's that I think has gotten her a lot of respect.
- 48:03Speaker 2: And so people were in her comments like divorce him, babe,
- 48:06Speaker 2: like you don't need him, like we love you your icon queen,
- 48:08Speaker 2: like be a single.
- 48:09Speaker 5: Mom, don't need him to begin with.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I know, but it's so crazy because I'm like, usually
- 48:13Speaker 2: Justin is the one that's getting comments like divorce her,
- 48:16Speaker 2: you're unhappy, and so now she's getting these comments. I'm like,
- 48:20Speaker 2: what they can never win any time.
- 48:23Speaker 3: But also I feel like poor Justin right now just
- 48:28Speaker 3: reliving everything that he probably lived with the Diddy shit
- 48:33Speaker 3: now resurfacing.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I think he was exposed to a lot as a
- 48:37Speaker 1: very young child, for sure, and.
- 48:39Speaker 2: His team has commented on that though. They said that
- 48:42Speaker 2: he wasn't like involved, and that's I mean, they kept
- 48:46Speaker 2: it very pr so they were like, he wasn't involved,
- 48:49Speaker 2: right because everyone online, well that.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Was for a wire, but don't There was another video,
- 48:56Speaker 3: and this is when Bieber is like fourteen fifteen, and
- 48:59Speaker 3: he was like, I.
- 49:00Speaker 5: Got Beba for the next forty eight hours.
- 49:02Speaker 3: You got a Lambo to drive and it was just
- 49:04Speaker 3: him and they were like, we're gonna go crazy, We're
- 49:06Speaker 3: gonna make his in car.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's like you there's also that interview where
- 49:13Speaker 1: and I forget who, maybe it was Conan, but he
- 49:18Speaker 1: says like, what what is a a night with Diddy?
- 49:23Speaker 1: You know, like what do you guys do? And it
- 49:24Speaker 1: was just like a really fun, playful question, you know,
- 49:28Speaker 1: and did. He was like, he knows better than to
- 49:30Speaker 1: talk about what he what he does when he's with
- 49:33Speaker 1: Uncle Diddy, or's is something allegedly he said that allegedly.
- 49:38Speaker 5: I watched it. Yeah, he did say that that was
- 49:41Speaker 5: not alleged.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I saw that too, and just is kind of like
- 49:44Speaker 1: feeling uncomfortable. Yeah. And it's crazy to me because there
- 49:49Speaker 1: were so many things that will deep dive into on
- 49:51Speaker 1: the bonus that started coming out during the pandemic. I
- 49:54Speaker 1: feel like that's when conspiracy theories really.
- 49:58Speaker 3: They know anything to do, just search the web, right,
- 50:02Speaker 3: But a few of these conspiracy theories have really come
- 50:06Speaker 3: to fruition.
- 50:08Speaker 1: It's like, oh shit, this was like this was real
- 50:11Speaker 1: life happening. Yeah. And sometimes I feel like conspiracy theorists
- 50:15Speaker 1: are so on the nose that there's a plant in
- 50:18Speaker 1: there that gives them a tidbit to make conspiracy theorists
- 50:21Speaker 1: look crazy. Where it's like, okay, you had me until
- 50:24Speaker 1: you told me that like Tupac is alive on an
- 50:27Speaker 1: island making beats. You know.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like, AI, you don't know what to believe.
- 50:31Speaker 1: You don't know what to believe. The next question that
- 50:33Speaker 1: I have for you is, this was mind blowing. First
- 50:36Speaker 1: of all, I had no idea that Pride was last weekend.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I went to the desert. I was straight chilling with
- 50:41Speaker 1: my kids, and I'm looking and I see one of
- 50:43Speaker 1: our old Vander Pump producers post a picture and she's like,
- 50:46Speaker 1: got her walky on and it says Pride twenty twenty five,
- 50:50Speaker 1: and then it says sir in the corner, and I
- 50:53Speaker 1: had it was like such a bittersweet thing to see.
- 50:56Speaker 1: I'm like, because we haven't filmed we hadn't filmed Pride
- 51:00Speaker 1: in years, because we hadn't worked at the restaurant. Yeah,
- 51:02Speaker 1: so that's how I knew that Pride was happening. And
- 51:04Speaker 1: then y'all walk in here and tell me that Jojo
- 51:07Speaker 1: Siwah comes out as a straight person on Pride. WTF, mate, Yeah, Jojo.
- 51:19Speaker 5: I just pink bows. I can't, I know.
- 51:22Speaker 2: I mean, when she gets on stage, she's still rocking
- 51:25Speaker 2: like the glitter. It's very kitty. But she's a bad girl.
- 51:30Speaker 2: She's a bad girl now and she's really bad. When
- 51:32Speaker 2: she was on Celebrity Big Brother UK, she was getting
- 51:36Speaker 2: very close with Chris Hughes from Love Island. They're ten
- 51:39Speaker 2: years apart, so some people find this a little creepy,
- 51:42Speaker 2: but they got very close. Jojo had a partner at
- 51:44Speaker 2: the time. But while on the show, Chris and her
- 51:47Speaker 2: are like in the bed, cuddling, backscratches, four head kisses.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Everyone's like, this is really intimate, gets off the show,
- 51:54Speaker 2: breaks up with the partner and is like, yeah, Chris
- 51:57Speaker 2: and I are just really close friends mates. But everyone's like,
- 52:02Speaker 2: you guys are freaking dating, Like this is weird, Like
- 52:05Speaker 2: this is not normal. And he goes to visit her
- 52:09Speaker 2: like last weekend or something in Mexico while she's on tour.
- 52:13Speaker 2: There's a picture of them kissing in the pool, and
- 52:16Speaker 2: then they're just but they're just friends, yeats solely platonic.
- 52:19Speaker 2: And then this week he posts a picture of them
- 52:22Speaker 2: in bed together and she like, doesn't it doesn't look
- 52:25Speaker 2: like she has a top on. They're like in bed,
- 52:27Speaker 2: her arm is like on his chest and he's kissing
- 52:30Speaker 2: her forehead. And then the next day she's like, yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 2: it's not platonic.
- 52:34Speaker 1: No, you don't say so. Was did everyone think that
- 52:39Speaker 1: she was still with her partner while they were hanging out.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Well, when she was on Big Brother, like she still
- 52:46Speaker 2: had a partner.
- 52:47Speaker 5: Okay, but you could see the falling apart.
- 52:49Speaker 2: At the rap party. That's when Jojo broke up with
- 52:53Speaker 2: caf And this was all like April.
- 52:59Speaker 1: So like not that long now, how long ago?
- 53:02Speaker 3: I just looked at his instagram and she is plastered
- 53:05Speaker 3: all over it.
- 53:06Speaker 2: Yeah, they and like with her family.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Yeah, what does she look like now? Does she still
- 53:10Speaker 1: look like Jojo seawas?
- 53:11Speaker 5: Yeah? It's weird, you guys.
- 53:13Speaker 1: My favorite Jojo Siwa moment is Kim Kardashian taking North
- 53:17Speaker 1: and she's like Mine says, you talk too loud and
- 53:19Speaker 1: she was like, I didn't say that. I said you
- 53:21Speaker 1: need to talk loud like her to be loud.
- 53:25Speaker 2: North lives to expose Kim. It's great.
- 53:27Speaker 1: We're all here for it. We're all here for it.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the craziest story.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I really don't understand, Like, do you think she's trying
- 53:35Speaker 1: to be relevant? Is she confused? She too is a
- 53:37Speaker 1: child star from.
- 53:38Speaker 5: Like how long is she right now?
- 53:40Speaker 2: She's just turned twenty two, like a week ago.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Oh, I was even cookie at twenty two. I think
- 53:47Speaker 1: she's a little you know what. She is probably drunk
- 53:51Speaker 1: allegedly allegedly that's the drink gets you discombobulous. I will
- 53:56Speaker 1: say any hints on where Benny and Selena will get married.
- 54:02Speaker 2: I don't Benny's I could see them doing something super
- 54:06Speaker 2: low key and super private, but I don't know, because
- 54:08Speaker 2: I feel like she's loving him like super out loud.
- 54:10Speaker 2: She might want to do something huge.
- 54:12Speaker 5: I know, grease wedding.
- 54:16Speaker 3: I was I was gonna say, like Italy, Okay, I'm
- 54:19Speaker 3: going Greece.
- 54:20Speaker 1: But we are going international for the wedding.
- 54:22Speaker 3: I have a I think Bennie would Bennie will. I
- 54:25Speaker 3: have a feeling just knowing Benny, like I do talk
- 54:29Speaker 3: all the time. I have a feeling that he loves
- 54:31Speaker 3: her so much that he would like to do something
- 54:33Speaker 3: like low key, but I think he would love to
- 54:35Speaker 3: do something for her.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Yeah. And for a moment, I didn't understand it. I
- 54:40Speaker 1: was like, yeah too.
- 54:42Speaker 3: I did everybody that you watch his tiktoks and you're like,
- 54:44Speaker 3: I want to date this man.
- 54:46Speaker 2: It was him on those podcasts when he was doing
- 54:48Speaker 2: press for their album and he was talking about her.
- 54:52Speaker 2: I was like, you guys, like, I freaking get it.
- 54:54Speaker 2: He's like, I just know, like she wants me to
- 54:57Speaker 2: call her before she goes to bed. Every night because like,
- 54:59Speaker 2: you know, she wants to hear my voice and all
- 55:01Speaker 2: that stuff and it's all about communication.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I was like, man, that's what they got me too. Yes,
- 55:08Speaker 1: he took her to prom he's how wild is that?
- 55:12Speaker 4: And he did it huge limo dressed up.
- 55:14Speaker 5: They went into a mall to like one.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Of those pictures.
- 55:20Speaker 5: It was so great.
- 55:21Speaker 1: No, that's when I fell for him too. It was
- 55:23Speaker 1: during their whole like press run for their album together.
- 55:26Speaker 1: It was like so cute and I sat there and
- 55:29Speaker 1: was like, I totally get this. She probably for the
- 55:31Speaker 1: first time feels safe with someone. I think that that
- 55:35Speaker 1: whole justin Bieber situation through her for a loop.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 55:39Speaker 1: No one won in that situation, by the way, Like
- 55:41Speaker 1: even Hayley Bieber was being okay, but is Beebes and
- 55:46Speaker 1: like Kendall Jenner like a little bit mean to her?
- 55:48Speaker 1: Like are those to Selena Gomez? Like are those are
- 55:52Speaker 1: those photoshopped? Those moments of like anytime she enters the
- 55:55Speaker 1: red carpet and there they see that she's arrived where
- 55:59Speaker 1: they're kind of like.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Oh, they're like giggling and stuff.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Yeah, is that real? Are we just also bored that
- 56:05Speaker 1: we need to create drama.
- 56:09Speaker 2: I think it's definitely it could have definitely been real
- 56:11Speaker 2: that like there was shade or mean girl energy towards
- 56:15Speaker 2: Lena because of like I don't know, I feel like
- 56:18Speaker 2: everyone was also young in the situation that if your
- 56:21Speaker 2: friend or you are like with someone and you see
- 56:24Speaker 2: like their ex like you're probably not saying like a
- 56:26Speaker 2: nice thing about them, And there is like online stuff
- 56:30Speaker 2: of like them throwing shade or liking shady posts, and
- 56:33Speaker 2: I believe that stuff to be real. I feel like
- 56:35Speaker 2: they've all moved past it by now, but people are
- 56:39Speaker 2: so like hung up on the spectacle, like Justin and
- 56:41Speaker 2: Selena that they'll hold on to like any bit of
- 56:43Speaker 2: like drama and.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's like such young love.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:48Speaker 1: It's wild to think about these celebrities because you they're
- 56:53Speaker 1: just displaying like regular behavior, right that we all have
- 56:57Speaker 1: the luxury of doing kind of behind closed doors with
- 56:59Speaker 1: our friends.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:00Speaker 1: But I mean these people have been super famous since
- 57:04Speaker 1: they were teenagers. Yeah, and we've like watched It's it's
- 57:09Speaker 1: crazy to look at them and be like, you're like
- 57:11Speaker 1: a solid ten years younger than me and have lived
- 57:16Speaker 1: way more life than I probably have.
- 57:17Speaker 2: It's crazy to think about what they've like had to
- 57:21Speaker 2: do in like the situations that they've been in.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, like I try to think about my
- 57:30Speaker 1: my time being like that age, and you know, it's like, oh,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you know, Michelle's coming to so and So's party tonight.
- 57:37Speaker 1: For them, it's like did you hear She's coming to
- 57:40Speaker 1: Vogue tonight? She's coming to Vanity Fairs? What the fuck?
- 57:44Speaker 2: Very different world, so, I mean even just like and
- 57:47Speaker 2: then like with you talking about Diddy, like that's like
- 57:50Speaker 2: a teenager hanging out with like a grown ass man,
- 57:52Speaker 2: Like that's not happening in real life.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Thank you, very weird.
- 57:58Speaker 5: You old to come to my house to party.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Like the lines were so blurred back then, and now
- 58:02Speaker 2: I don't think anyone would let that type of stuff slide.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Not at all. I mean I think my mom was
- 58:07Speaker 1: letting me kick it with like when I was like fourteen,
- 58:09Speaker 1: I was going with like eighteen year olds.
- 58:12Speaker 2: And that's and that's bad. But it's like not not even.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Like yeah, but now that I have a daughter, if
- 58:18Speaker 1: she was like, yeah, I'm dealing with Scott, he's a
- 58:20Speaker 1: senior and she was like in the seventh grade, I'd
- 58:22Speaker 1: be like you're fucking tripping bro going anywhere?
- 58:25Speaker 5: Was Scott and I need to have a fun with him?
- 58:28Speaker 5: What are you doing? Scott?
- 58:30Speaker 1: Yeah? And my nine like, what do you want with
- 58:34Speaker 1: my fourteen year old?
- 58:35Speaker 2: You pert seriously different worlds.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I about fell out of my chair the other day
- 58:40Speaker 1: when I saw that, Uh, Savannah is that her name,
- 58:44Speaker 1: Savannah Chrisle Oh yes, uh went on her Instagram with
- 58:49Speaker 1: a Maga hat saying that she just got a call
- 58:53Speaker 1: from the President and he's pardoning my parents and she
- 58:57Speaker 1: was they could be home as soon as tonight or
- 59:00Speaker 1: I'm like, oh wow, they like really get the ball.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Like a pardon, like she put the work in work
- 59:06Speaker 2: in Okay, a trumpy for this moment?
- 59:09Speaker 1: Is that why? I mean they've always they've always been conservative, right,
- 59:13Speaker 1: Like she wasn't a hardcore Trump because.
- 59:16Speaker 2: I think did she speak at something? Yes, she spoke
- 59:20Speaker 2: at something related to the Trump campaign. Yeah, she spoke
- 59:25Speaker 2: at the Republican National Convention.
- 59:27Speaker 1: So did Amber Rose? How that's true?
- 59:30Speaker 2: Maybe she's she's trying to get someone off the hook too.
- 59:33Speaker 1: You know what not about I'm not mad. I'm not
- 59:35Speaker 1: mad at the hustle like that takes some stamina and
- 59:39Speaker 1: tail between the legs. But I was confused because I
- 59:43Speaker 1: felt like it was so black and white what the
- 59:46Speaker 1: chrislies were doing. M do you think that that was
- 59:50Speaker 1: just Trump being appreciative for the amount of work that
- 59:55Speaker 1: that family put in. I mean, even what's her name?
- 59:58Speaker 1: Jason Alden's wife went on Instagram?
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: How much should the family give to Trump?
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Do we know any of that that I'm not.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: That's why they're getting a pardon because because it was
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: on tax right tax EVA. It's like, how much money
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: were they, you know, feeding Trump's campaign and then they
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: got caught and Trump's like, they gave me over one
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: hundred million.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: I have to pardon these people. Where did they get
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: their money not paying taxes?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I only know them from reality know them from reality TV,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: But I'm like I was stocked. It was just like
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: that's random. But like I guess.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Out of all the people that you could pardon, yeah.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: The only one that makes sense is like Kim Kardashian
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: and who she chooses to pardon, Well, I don't.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Prison with like actual people that she believes.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Convicted, and it's like that's who we need to be
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: getting out of the system.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Not there cases where she hasn't been able to get
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: them out, and so it's like, then.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: The this it's it's just it's so beyond crazy to me.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: And then to see uh, Jason al Dean's wife go
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: on and be like, we've been close with the Chris
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Lies for quite some time. We're so grateful for the
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Trump administration for making this pardon happen. It's like a
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: different worlds where.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I think we're gonna get some answers. Is chasing how
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: much did they give the Trump campaign?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Well, by the way, that's like that's just textbook. You
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: always follow the money like money is the most powerful
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: thing in the game, the root of all evil. My
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: most favorite headline probably of all time, to be honest,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: was that Todd Chrisly was not happy.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Did they also give like the menu for that article,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Because in some of the articles will be like, this
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: is what Diddy's eating in prison on Thanksgiving and then
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: it's like on the menu, we have potatoes your home
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: style mac like ye getting menus in prison, Like the
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: publication will like print like what's the food menu?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I think it really depends on what type of prison
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: were there.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: In that article, they were like he did not like
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: that No, he.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Didn't like that, he didn't like the food. No shit, Like,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: what did you think you were coming to lone star stake?
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: This is pissing next to your buddy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You know what's wild to me, though, is you will
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: have to do more time in prison when you rob
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Uncle Sam than if you do not good ship with
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: like or like a salt and battery.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: It's insane.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Like I've heard of people who are like getting out
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: of prison after fifteen years after they murdered somebody. Yeah,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: isn't that crazy?
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: I don't understand how people have to.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Identify as like a a what is it.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You have to identify? If I as a second spender?
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: They should never be outright? Why is that a thing?
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: You should never be.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Out That's like pretty much a slap on the wrists
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and then you don't pay your taxes and they're sending
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you to the slammer and throwing away the key. However,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I don't think like, if you're in prison for murdering somebody,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you're not getting a menu. You're having moldy bread and bologney.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: My final question for you, if you could pick any
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: reality show to watch, like it's your go to you're
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: not watching for homework, You're strictly watching to enjoy. What
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: is your go to?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: I'm really big into like reality game shows like Big Brother.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: I will watch every single one of those episodes all
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: summer long. And then Love Island. I'm about to get
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: blocked in to Love Island. It's starting this week, people,
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: love Love Island.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: My friend just went out to do it. It's in
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: uh Fiji or something like that.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Do they always wait your friend? Yeah?
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: I met her through Calvin Cobb, who was on season
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: five four. I don't know, I feel like the same
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: season together.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I think she's just like she was hosting the after
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: show Sully Sully Easton.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: You're like really clocked into the reality world because you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: also know the new girl on Mormon.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Miranda She I love She was like on the.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: First season of Love Island US.
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: Oh, she was on it with Calvin, my buddy. That's
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: how I know her.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: And then they offered her like kind of like a
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: spokesman type thing to go back and do this season.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: So she's but yeah, no, Miranda on Mormon Wives like,
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: I love her.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: I talked to her and you because she was like,
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: do I do season two?
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: And I said, yes, just whatever, the worst thing that
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: you could ever.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: Imagine coming out.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: If you're all right with that coming out, do it.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I really appreciate her, her relationship with her co parent,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: her ex husband. Yeah, they do like tiktoks together that
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I think are really funny.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: You can just tell that it's healthy because the kids
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: are healthy, you know.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: Exactly, you can tell.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: That's the hardest part.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: Miranda. I will say, like she's got a soft spot
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: for me.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, she she really was amazing.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: It's always good when someone are like I thought she
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: was going to be the villain, and I ended up
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: like loving her.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Oh that is the best feeling.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: That was the thing because everybody she was the og,
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: so everybody was like, we're gonna hate her because she's
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: going to come in and like ruin the dynamic and
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: all of that. And I think she played it very well.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: Two episodes I've.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Saved, and by the way, they're all very fun to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: look at.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Yeah, like Utah women are very very beautiful.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I'm not mad at how anyone.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with the Utah like whole culture, the bubble,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: the influencer of it all. Like I don't know if
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: you guys know who aspen Ovart is, but I am
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: so locked in on her life. She's a Utah YouTuber oka.
