- 2:40Speaker 3: The black shoes only work with pants too. When we
- 2:43Speaker 3: went to New Orleans for the Super Bowl, I was
- 2:45Speaker 3: wearing my sambas and I was wearing shorts, and I
- 2:47Speaker 3: was like, this is maybe the worst look I've ever had.
- 2:51Speaker 7: Dude, I gotta say, I think I'm pretty out on shorts.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yeah, period, agreed, for sure.
- 2:57Speaker 7: I don't think I'm gonna wear especially I mean in
- 2:59Speaker 7: the summer, just to go to work in shorts to
- 3:02Speaker 7: me feels like I'm slapping America in the face.
- 3:07Speaker 3: So what are you gonna do when it's like ninety five?
- 3:08Speaker 7: Who I think? I am a fucking soccer player?
- 3:11Speaker 1: What is this camp Diego Maradona and fucking short shorts?
- 3:16Speaker 3: So what are you gonna do? Like, say it's ninety five,
- 3:20Speaker 3: because it'll get there.
- 3:21Speaker 7: You wear lighter pants like these, You wear a linen
- 3:25Speaker 7: pant in ninety five.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You know I Can'm not going to be a linen pants.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I'm asking for suggestions right now.
- 3:34Speaker 7: I'm not gonna be outside that much. Right, you get
- 3:39Speaker 7: to work, you're in your air conditioning. Although what about
- 3:42Speaker 7: like a jog, Well, yeah, it's an exercise, of course,
- 3:45Speaker 7: I'll wear shorts.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Then, Yeah, that's fine.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I always wear some linen.
- 3:49Speaker 7: I walk around this office sometimes in the summer and
- 3:52Speaker 7: I see the number of people wearing shorts, and I
- 3:54Speaker 7: feel like I work it up. Fucking YMCA like wearing
- 4:00Speaker 7: shorts just because I don't want to wear shorts to
- 4:02Speaker 7: the pody.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I don't want to wear shorts on camera.
- 4:03Speaker 7: We got Jake Bass here. What's going on, Jake?
- 4:06Speaker 8: We just were in a Ryder Cup meeting. Oh yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 8: you're being formally invited the Ryder Cup. Who Hank and
- 4:13Speaker 8: Brandon and I?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh sweet, that's a big deal. When's that June?
- 4:19Speaker 7: If you're in d that's a big deal. You should
- 4:23Speaker 7: do that. But you're gonna need to practice.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I'm gonna to hit the range. Who's in it?
- 4:27Speaker 8: Riggs Whitney, Dave, Dan, pft Airy and Francis Jerry.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I could definitely do that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, that's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
- 4:36Speaker 7: No, it's Tuesday, Wednesday's Tuesday Wednesday Friday?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Why what you got?
- 4:41Speaker 1: No? No, I was just looking at the calendar.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Or maybe yeah, yeah, maybe it's the twenty fourth to
- 4:45Speaker 8: twenty six. It's that Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Wednesday.
- 4:48Speaker 7: Lock it in right before the fourth of July.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Perfect right before I chip off to Wyoming.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And so that must mean that my invitation is like
- 4:57Speaker 1: right behind this, right behind the.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Dude, that's a huge deal. I'm so pumped you're gonna
- 5:01Speaker 7: come to that. That's gonna be fun.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yeah, well, no, you I appreciate it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You don't get paid for that though. That's not part
- 5:07Speaker 1: of your job. You just get paid to do the podcast.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Oh no, I mean we're gonna have worked that out,
- 5:10Speaker 3: me and Dave revenue share.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Of the Ryder Cup.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Do you think I'm going all the way to Boston
- 5:18Speaker 3: for free?
- 5:19Speaker 1: I mean, they would pay for you to get there.
- 5:21Speaker 3: But I'm definitely gonna do that. That sounds great.
- 5:23Speaker 7: If our team wins, you'll get our team presume who's
- 5:26Speaker 7: I don't know they'll do. I'm not on Dave's side, brother,
- 5:30Speaker 7: Why wouldn't I be on?
- 5:31Speaker 3: Jeez, we got to stick together right now. Times are tough.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Why wouldn't I be on this side? I was on
- 5:39Speaker 7: Dave team last time.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I genuinely don't know. I don't know a ton about it.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Great, So what is it?
- 5:45Speaker 3: I know what the actual Ryder Cup is, but it's
- 5:48Speaker 3: a similar.
- 5:50Speaker 7: It's it's your team team golf.
- 5:53Speaker 3: How many how many people per team?
- 5:56Speaker 7: I don't know. Last time there might have been six
- 5:58Speaker 7: per team.
- 5:59Speaker 3: And what's the format? Well, oh, you don't have to
- 6:02Speaker 3: give anything.
- 6:03Speaker 7: No, I don't know. I mean the last I'm just
- 6:04Speaker 7: going off last time. I think we did best ball
- 6:07Speaker 7: of two for the first one and then there might
- 6:11Speaker 7: have been like a scramble alternate shot something like that,
- 6:16Speaker 7: and then the final day was like three on three
- 6:19Speaker 7: teams of three. Yeah, each team got to pick for you, guys, twelve,
- 6:24Speaker 7: so it's.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Like a tight event.
- 6:26Speaker 7: Yeah. Wow, so ass is blown up what I'm saying, Like,
- 6:29Speaker 7: I'm so happy to have you be part of that
- 6:32Speaker 7: twelve pack twelve. I just played Oakmont over the weekend
- 6:37Speaker 7: where they're playing the US Open. We did this for
- 6:39Speaker 7: the USGA with four play and it's in US Open
- 6:43Speaker 7: condition yeah, the rough meaning it was, and we played
- 6:48Speaker 7: from where they te off. Yeah, we played the championship teas.
- 6:52Speaker 7: Is the hardest thing I've ever done athletically, would you shoot? Well,
- 6:57Speaker 7: that video is going to come out, so I'm not
- 6:59Speaker 7: sure if I should say I guess, but I will
- 7:03Speaker 7: say I played really solid, yeah, and did I was
- 7:08Speaker 7: very pleased with how I played.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Where's that Pittsburgh. Yeah, that's gonna be so awesome. Wow,
- 7:14Speaker 1: you guys are fucking blowing up right now? Is this
- 7:16Speaker 1: what happened while I was gone? You guys just just
- 7:18Speaker 1: ascend into a different stratosphere without me?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Look, it was pretty funny. We were talking about it downstairs,
- 7:24Speaker 3: how like uh like the banking of episodes and stuff,
- 7:27Speaker 3: and it was like, you were gone for like three episodes.
- 7:31Speaker 3: You barely missed the.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Show, and somehow you guys are getting invitations to fucking
- 7:37Speaker 1: playing the masters are well gone. Infuriating, I need to
- 7:41Speaker 1: take up golf.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Why don't you come to you? Can you budn't you
- 7:43Speaker 3: just go?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Does it sound like Jake Bash just invited me?
- 7:46Speaker 3: I'll talk to Jake.
- 7:48Speaker 7: I think that the reason he came into his own microphone.
- 7:52Speaker 7: I think you're coming because you performed well when you
- 7:56Speaker 7: did the thing with Frankie, and people thought in your
- 7:59Speaker 7: solid golfer. Oh yeah, yeah that's why. Yeah, we all
- 8:02Speaker 7: know that your personality is not going to I'm not
- 8:06Speaker 7: going to talk well, you're just gonna be the guy
- 8:08Speaker 7: that's like I don't even care what's going on here.
- 8:10Speaker 3: No, I'll definitely care competitive with stuff I love competing.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah, what was the golf tournament where I kept on
- 8:17Speaker 1: stepping on rubber duckies?
- 8:18Speaker 3: Or that was the mini That was the mini golf
- 8:20Speaker 3: where I came in third place and then they dropped
- 8:21Speaker 3: me down to what was it ninth?
- 8:23Speaker 1: But you had a conniption when I stepped on the minigolf.
- 8:26Speaker 3: We were in the final round of mini golf and
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm in third place, and Ron, there's these you know,
- 8:31Speaker 3: those chickens, the rubber chickens that you that squeak and
- 8:34Speaker 3: that absurd noise. For some reason, they were all over
- 8:37Speaker 3: the place and Ron kept on stepping on them while
- 8:40Speaker 3: I was in the middle of putting, and everyone was like,
- 8:43Speaker 3: look how mad sass is getting. I'm like, dude, this
- 8:45Speaker 3: is like one hundred grand is on the line right now.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It was the first round that I was doing it in. No, Yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 1: because I was in it.
- 8:52Speaker 3: No, it was every single dude. You were on the
- 8:54Speaker 3: same hole every time.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Every time I got a limited, I didn't make the cut,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was eliminated. After the first round.
- 9:00Speaker 3: You were still everywhere you were on that way.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It wasn't everywhere.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I don't even think you were competing, So I think
- 9:05Speaker 3: you were on the mic.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It was while I was competing. I wouldn't just I
- 9:08Speaker 1: wouldn't step on a rubber ducky to fuck with you.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah, you know that's exertly, that's actually exactly what happened.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm just jealous. I think that you guys have have golf.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Well, that's always been something we've both been very I
- 9:23Speaker 3: don't know. I don't know. I haven't swung a golf
- 9:28Speaker 3: club in a while, So I'm gonna have to get
- 9:31Speaker 3: out there.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That was such a nice move by him to even
- 9:34Speaker 1: come in and grab a mic like that.
- 9:36Speaker 7: It was nice.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Were you guys tipped off because he was ready to
- 9:45Speaker 3: get hereball?
- 9:45Speaker 7: You can come out and practice with me at my
- 9:47Speaker 7: club beforehand if you want. But you are going to
- 9:51Speaker 7: have to wear a collared shirt.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I have golf shirts you do? Three years on varsity?
- 9:58Speaker 7: You still have those? Yeah, you kept your high school
- 10:01Speaker 7: varsity golf shirts.
- 10:03Speaker 3: That wasn't that long. It was like six years ago.
- 10:06Speaker 7: I tell you what, I don't have any of my
- 10:09Speaker 7: high school sports gear.
- 10:10Speaker 3: How long has it been for you? Sixteen years?
- 10:14Speaker 7: Yeah, but I got rid of it eighteen within the
- 10:17Speaker 7: six year window.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Oh look, if you had a custom Nike golf shirt
- 10:22Speaker 3: from Ducks with your name on it.
- 10:24Speaker 1: You would keep it from Ducks very high.
- 10:26Speaker 3: You don't have one of those.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Now you know what happened. I remember now I got
- 10:34Speaker 7: rid of all of my high school gear when it
- 10:37Speaker 7: was replaced by Harvard Nike.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Understandable customized Harvard Athletics.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I know you still have some of that.
- 10:44Speaker 7: I beg you.
- 10:45Speaker 3: You guys got some sick year.
- 10:47Speaker 7: We really did.
- 10:48Speaker 3: What would you get?
- 10:49Speaker 7: It was as if it was like the Matrix when
- 10:52Speaker 7: I was like, I need Nike, lots of Nikes.
- 10:54Speaker 3: So sick. Yeah, that's gonna be the best part about
- 10:56Speaker 3: being like a good athlete.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I thought you're going to say the best time I'm
- 11:00Speaker 1: going to Harvard.
- 11:01Speaker 3: On top of the hundreds of millions of dollars. But uh,
- 11:04Speaker 3: when we went we toward the Vikings facility. I mean,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you guys, I've said it a thousand times. I'm a
- 11:08Speaker 3: gear junkie, but we were we were tour in the
- 11:11Speaker 3: practice facility and they got to shut like they get
- 11:13Speaker 3: those guys just walk in and there's like twelve pairs
- 11:16Speaker 3: of cleats and they just go like those are the
- 11:17Speaker 3: ones I want. It's insane. Yeah, with everything though, right
- 11:21Speaker 3: visors helmets.
- 11:23Speaker 7: You get over it pretty quickly.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I bet it's not. I will big part of
- 11:26Speaker 1: it for Really.
- 11:27Speaker 7: You get to a point where you're like, I don't
- 11:29Speaker 7: have any room for any more of this stuff.
- 11:31Speaker 3: True, I could see that justin Jefferson is two lockers
- 11:34Speaker 3: because there's so much free shit. Yeah, it's like big
- 11:37Speaker 3: Cat when you had the pile, the pile.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I think at Barstool early on, like we would get everything,
- 11:42Speaker 1: or like people would send us stuff, and I think
- 11:44Speaker 1: you get over it pretty quickly.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I never did. Every time I get every time
- 11:50Speaker 3: I go to my desk and there's a box, I'm like,
- 11:53Speaker 3: you saw the box the other day? I was like,
- 11:54Speaker 3: you want this range Look at this what I found?
- 11:56Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I was like trying to like give Francis this rangefinder
- 12:00Speaker 3: that was on my desk for golf, not mine, no
- 12:04Speaker 3: idea whose it is. It's been there forever. And he
- 12:05Speaker 3: was like, I don't want that at all.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I threw out some stuff from your desk today. I
- 12:09Speaker 1: got back to the desk and there was just some bullshit,
- 12:13Speaker 1: like empty boxes with confetti inside of him. Why are
- 12:17Speaker 1: you keeping these?
- 12:19Speaker 7: I wasn't.
- 12:20Speaker 3: That was a That was a package that was sent to.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Me from Rhythm, from a company, the Weed Company.
- 12:25Speaker 7: Oh nice, you're getting sponsored by weed.
- 12:30Speaker 3: No, that was we all got an invitation to like
- 12:32Speaker 3: this this party.
- 12:34Speaker 7: You got one too, You got the VIP package.
- 12:36Speaker 3: You don't think you got one. No, fucking Snoop Dog
- 12:39Speaker 3: of the Barstool Offices, you don't think you got. You're
- 12:42Speaker 3: sucking on a weed lollipop as we speak.
- 12:44Speaker 7: If he's Snoop.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Here Willie Nelson, not true at all, Smogan for Longer
- 12:49Speaker 1: and stronger, Snoop Dog quit. You don't remember that?
- 12:51Speaker 7: Ad Okay? We I really want to finish that story.
- 12:55Speaker 7: We started a couple episodes ago, really quick.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yes, it'll drive, you'll drive traffic. Back to that old other.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Episode you mentioned that you already admitted I don't feel
- 13:04Speaker 3: like talking about that.
- 13:05Speaker 7: Really you were ready to then.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Now I think, actually I think the I have a
- 13:12Speaker 3: very vivid memory of you going, should I tell the story?
- 13:14Speaker 3: And I said.
- 13:15Speaker 7: No, No, you said it's fine, and we started telling,
- 13:18Speaker 7: and then something we changed the subject, as we often do. Well,
- 13:22Speaker 7: I guess did you see the Holy shit? It's a
- 13:27Speaker 7: very funny story.
- 13:28Speaker 3: It's really notty.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I'll tell a story.
- 13:32Speaker 7: I was smoking a joint alone, and I thought to myself, boy,
- 13:39Speaker 7: if I were sharing this joint with someone, I wonder
- 13:42Speaker 7: what that would be like. And I continued to smoke
- 13:46Speaker 7: the joint and pass it to myself back and forth,
- 13:51Speaker 7: past the point where I wanted to smoke anymore. But
- 13:55Speaker 7: because I was so sort of self conscious about wanting
- 13:58Speaker 7: to look like I knew what I was doing with weed,
- 14:00Speaker 7: I smoked it to a point where both I and
- 14:05Speaker 7: the person I thought I would want to smoke with
- 14:08Speaker 7: were impossibly high.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You smoke with an imaginary friend to both get fucking stoned.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Yeah, so and then we and then I and I
- 14:21Speaker 7: thought to myself, my god, I'm so uncomfortably high. Why
- 14:26Speaker 7: did I go so far? And it was just this
- 14:28Speaker 7: weird thing where I was not admitting to myself that
- 14:33Speaker 7: I didn't want any more, when in fact, my other
- 14:36Speaker 7: self didn't want anymore either.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Getting uncomfortably high is such a weird part of the
- 14:41Speaker 1: ritual of weed smoking.
- 14:43Speaker 7: It was really fun.
- 14:44Speaker 3: It's run, are you off the cush? Off or on?
- 14:50Speaker 1: I'd say you off right now. I haven't smoked since
- 14:53Speaker 1: I've had since I had seed.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I would not even dabbled. No, not even
- 14:59Speaker 3: a taste.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be like uncomfortably high trying to
- 15:02Speaker 1: hold a baby.
- 15:03Speaker 7: True, that is exactly what I would want. What if
- 15:07Speaker 7: I were uncomfortably high and someone handed me a baby,
- 15:10Speaker 7: I'd be like, oh, thank god, yeah, but all the
- 15:14Speaker 7: things I want? This is perfect. A sleeping baby. What
- 15:19Speaker 7: a wonderful, dreaming.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Palliative you're saying it'd be calming.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Yeah, to look down at this beautiful life and see
- 15:27Speaker 7: that it's serene, and.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I feel like, all take is it? Opening its eyes
- 15:32Speaker 3: and crying? And then you're like, I'm a fucking monster.
- 15:36Speaker 7: Well, looks up at you with your bloodshot red eyes
- 15:39Speaker 7: and you're like, sounds like you guys.
- 15:44Speaker 1: No, god no, But I think that normally I would
- 15:46Speaker 1: have that feeling, but I think since the since it's
- 15:50Speaker 1: my baby, i'd have to be I would worry about
- 15:54Speaker 1: am I doing enough for this baby's life or whatever?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Like if there's someone else's baby, like, yeah, fucking yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: with the bathwater, but smoke.
- 16:01Speaker 3: All the weed you want.
- 16:03Speaker 7: Well, I haven't someone else's baby.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I'm smoking blunts around that baby.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You know, would you stop fucking talking over him? No?
- 16:11Speaker 1: My bad? Oh man, what were you to say? How
- 16:15Speaker 1: you have an asked?
- 16:15Speaker 7: What? I have been so conscious of not talking over
- 16:18Speaker 7: anyone in this episode so far to the point where
- 16:21Speaker 7: I don't even want to speak for those of you
- 16:25Speaker 7: at home, and for our dear friend Shane Gillis. Shane
- 16:30Speaker 7: texted the three of us yesterday and let me let
- 16:35Speaker 7: me just say that I also have a friend who's
- 16:37Speaker 7: not doing very well right now.
- 16:39Speaker 1: We'll tell the story chronologically.
- 16:43Speaker 3: So anyone's seen my jewel before we hop before we
- 16:47Speaker 3: hop into that. No, no, no, I just had to
- 16:52Speaker 3: get it out there because if someone's got it, they
- 16:54Speaker 3: got to give it back. How would anyone have it?
- 16:56Speaker 7: How you're on your own couch?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Times up? That's a joke's over.
- 17:02Speaker 7: You know, we love that joke, but we don't get
- 17:04Speaker 7: to do it anymore.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Someone stole my l It's gone.
- 17:09Speaker 3: But it's all good.
- 17:10Speaker 7: It's in my pocket, all right. There's such a fucking
- 17:13Speaker 7: psycho about that thing. It's always in your pocket now.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Shane texted us yesterday, the three of us after their
- 17:24Speaker 7: episode that I was absent on came out and UH said, wow,
- 17:28Speaker 7: thank god, Uh an episode with Roan and Harry, So
- 17:35Speaker 7: you know, finally not not having Francis. It's better without
- 17:38Speaker 7: Francis or something, and I wrote back something like no problem,
- 17:45Speaker 7: you know they can have it like whatever, and he goes, yeah, well,
- 17:49Speaker 7: the issue is that you talk over people.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I don't think it was as he ted says this.
- 17:54Speaker 7: I think I'm pretty close.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was like lighthearted at the time.
- 18:01Speaker 7: And then are you sure?
- 18:04Speaker 3: I would think, why don't.
- 18:06Speaker 7: You read it? I don't have my phone just read it.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I don't want to read it.
- 18:10Speaker 7: Why not.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I'm not getting involved in this.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You're you're implicitly involved.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I'm not involved. I think I said one thing that
- 18:16Speaker 3: entire chet text chan. I think I said ha.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Ha and that was it. Yeah, because you were so
- 18:22Speaker 1: contact ha.
- 18:23Speaker 9: Ha ha ha.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Jah ja jah, he said, finally run back and no
- 18:30Speaker 1: Francis exclamation point fuck.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it is more lighthearted.
- 18:36Speaker 7: That's fine. Yeah, I'm fine with all of that.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he said, we're and you said we're gonna
- 18:41Speaker 1: move to me just one up a week, and then
- 18:43Speaker 1: he said that would be better. You talk over people
- 18:46Speaker 1: too much.
- 18:47Speaker 3: But that's he said, that's why he's saying it, because
- 18:50Speaker 3: you don't do that.
- 18:51Speaker 1: And then he said and then you said, working on it,
- 18:54Speaker 1: and Shane said, JK. And I said, Francis, don't listen
- 18:57Speaker 1: to him. We like when you talk over people. And
- 19:01Speaker 1: then you and you said, am I high? I'm not
- 19:05Speaker 1: the tall over people.
- 19:08Speaker 7: Well, we had posted a clip from that week of
- 19:11Speaker 7: you doing the.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Okay, and then he said, he said, what do you mean?
- 19:18Speaker 1: You do a lot. But it's fine.
- 19:20Speaker 7: He's talking about me.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I know, but I think he's just busting your balls.
- 19:24Speaker 7: No, that doubled down. Is this is truth? That's busting No,
- 19:29Speaker 7: it's not. You do what you do, but it's fine.
- 19:32Speaker 7: Means I don't really mean this, but objectively what I've
- 19:36Speaker 7: said is true. I just don't want you to take
- 19:37Speaker 7: it personally, which he realized I had.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I think it's involved ball busting. I think he just
- 19:43Speaker 1: I think he's trying to be serious about it. But
- 19:44Speaker 1: then you said this sucks, and Chance said why and
- 19:50Speaker 1: you said, I quit. I got a lot of other
- 19:55Speaker 1: stuff going on. Have at it, boys. Harry said, ha
- 19:59Speaker 1: ha ha ha ha hah. Shane said, ha ha ha
- 20:02Speaker 1: ha ha ha. Francis said, in parentheses, I'm not kidding.
- 20:09Speaker 7: So let me let me provide, Let me provide a
- 20:13Speaker 7: little context. I was sitting in the ICU at Northwestern
- 20:19Speaker 7: Hospital in Chicago, visiting a friend of mine who just
- 20:22Speaker 7: had surprise brain surgery. And this is one of my
- 20:26Speaker 7: closest friends, and I'm getting these texts. I'm very like,
- 20:32Speaker 7: I'm not doing well with the situation at hand, and
- 20:35Speaker 7: I have no ability to filter ball busting at that point,
- 20:41Speaker 7: so nobody knew that. But I was just so strung
- 20:46Speaker 7: out and distraught from what I had been facing and
- 20:49Speaker 7: dealing with that. I just was like, I can't handle this.
- 20:54Speaker 7: You guys take the podcast. I removed myself.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You said, you said visiting a buddy who had surprised
- 21:03Speaker 1: brain surgery. Explain that a little bit. Shane said, damn,
- 21:08Speaker 1: you said, can't handle much right now on me, and
- 21:10Speaker 1: then Shane just sent the UNO reverse call.
- 21:16Speaker 7: It's very funny.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I forgot about that.
- 21:23Speaker 7: It's very funny.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I totally forgot about that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But uh, that was the extent of it. And but
- 21:30Speaker 1: we were all like, you don't talk over people, or
- 21:33Speaker 1: afterwards we're like, yeah, bro, you don't talk over people.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I literally don't worry about it.
- 21:37Speaker 7: I don't know. I have no idea what way is
- 21:39Speaker 7: up and what ways down? Now I tend to trust
- 21:43Speaker 7: when Shane says something and then says JK. In my
- 21:47Speaker 7: experience with him, that usually is a truth. It's just
- 21:54Speaker 7: it's just true. Whatever he has said prior to that,
- 21:57Speaker 7: I trust to be true. So I'm gonna work on that.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I also says you don't talk over people, but Shane
- 22:04Speaker 1: just can't make fun of sas because he already will
- 22:06Speaker 1: never get a spot at tires. That's true. Yeah, that
- 22:11Speaker 1: is true, you don't talk over people.
- 22:19Speaker 7: I think I talk a lot, but I try to
- 22:21Speaker 7: make a point of not being interruptive. But if I
- 22:24Speaker 7: am failing at that, I will go walk watch game film.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I think that people in the chat would agree with
- 22:30Speaker 1: you that you don't talk over people. The chat whatever
- 22:34Speaker 1: the fucking comment.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Sorry, this isn't Roan dot com.
- 22:37Speaker 7: There is no chat, so can I can I? I'm
- 22:43Speaker 7: sure you guys have dealt with with friends falling ill
- 22:47Speaker 7: and I'm not trying to get serious about this, but
- 22:48Speaker 7: it was a very strange experience for me, and one
- 22:54Speaker 7: that was kind of I don't know, it did change
- 22:59Speaker 7: perspective for me stuff because this is a my friend
- 23:03Speaker 7: is a very healthy guy. This came out of nowhere. Yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 7: and Uh, his whole life is on hold. Now. Yeah,
- 23:11Speaker 7: it's fucked and he's probably not gonna go to work
- 23:15Speaker 7: for a month more, I don't know. And he's a
- 23:20Speaker 7: good job. So it's like, what do you what happens?
- 23:24Speaker 7: What do you do?
- 23:26Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 23:27Speaker 7: Have you guys ever dealt with this? Now?
- 23:30Speaker 1: I've had friends getting like bad accidents where they just
- 23:32Speaker 1: have to stop going to work, and it's like you
- 23:34Speaker 1: to do the same thing, visit them in the hospital.
- 23:37Speaker 7: I tried to.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I had like a bunch of like weed gummies that
- 23:41Speaker 1: were like shape like donuts that I like try to
- 23:43Speaker 1: smuggle into my buddy's hospital room and left them everywhere,
- 23:46Speaker 1: and his mom left him everywhere. His mom found all
- 23:50Speaker 1: of them like an easter egg, like threw them all out.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I don't think she was happy with me because she
- 23:56Speaker 1: was like the only other person there and she'd like
- 23:58Speaker 1: sit on something, there'll be a donut shape, wemming, Oh,
- 24:01Speaker 1: I'll be fucking hiting. But it's like, yeah, I agree
- 24:03Speaker 1: that it's a weird circumstance. You don't know what to
- 24:05Speaker 1: do and like, and it's like.
- 24:08Speaker 7: It's very different from visiting sort of an older person
- 24:12Speaker 7: who's sick or whatever, and it I've had a hard
- 24:17Speaker 7: time processing it. I was very upset about it, really upset.
- 24:23Speaker 7: And I'm not trying to say obviously I'm not the
- 24:25Speaker 7: victim here. I'm just kind of wondering if anyone has
- 24:28Speaker 7: any advice on how to handle that, because I I
- 24:33Speaker 7: was it fucked me up.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I get that. I've I've never dealt with anything
- 24:37Speaker 3: like that, so I have no idea.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I feel like trying to introduce shreds of normalcy maybe
- 24:43Speaker 1: to their life, talking to them like without like doom
- 24:45Speaker 1: and gloom maybe would be helpful.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Yeah. I had a fun time talking with him. One
- 24:51Speaker 7: of our buddies brought him some chocolate, like one of
- 24:54Speaker 7: those assortment truffle boxes, and then I went through the
- 25:00Speaker 7: flavor descriptions of the twenty eight different types of truffles,
- 25:04Speaker 7: and that he and I approached that selection as if
- 25:08Speaker 7: we were choosing a draft choice, like it was so serious,
- 25:13Speaker 7: and he was like, wait, read that part again. You
- 25:15Speaker 7: know what do you think? Wadina is like, oh, absolutely
- 25:19Speaker 7: not the raspberry feeling. Okay, We're gonna write those four
- 25:22Speaker 7: off because they lose it. I mean it was just
- 25:26Speaker 7: like and that was really fun, but you're probably.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Like ready to lighten the mood and you're like, oh
- 25:30Speaker 1: my god, hey, Shane Gillis is texty. Oh a joke
- 25:36Speaker 1: joke for sure? Oh no, oh god.
- 25:40Speaker 7: No, yeah so that was my that was yeah anyway.
- 25:47Speaker 1: And then you bought a suit.
- 25:48Speaker 7: No no, I bought this last week.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It looks so fucking sick.
- 25:53Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I almost feel like this is uh this wearing it
- 25:58Speaker 1: on this show is like beneath the outfit, you know
- 26:01Speaker 1: what I mean, We're just dressed like shlubs and you
- 26:04Speaker 1: got this fucking sick ass futuristic outfit.
- 26:07Speaker 7: On Well, I don't know why I bought it.
- 26:09Speaker 1: When else are you gonna wear it?
- 26:11Speaker 7: I was gonna go into I went into this store
- 26:12Speaker 7: to buy some shoes that I needed, some black shoes,
- 26:15Speaker 7: and man, whenever I go into this place, they have
- 26:19Speaker 7: they cast a bit of a spell. I think it
- 26:20Speaker 7: has something to do with the incessence that they burn
- 26:23Speaker 7: in there, because they do that. I tried on a
- 26:25Speaker 7: couple of things.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I don't like that smell at all.
- 26:28Speaker 7: I don't normally either.
- 26:28Speaker 3: It's a little two cents yeah sweet, It's like, I
- 26:31Speaker 3: don't know, I don't like it.
- 26:32Speaker 7: The reason.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I walk into a room where they have that, I'm like, oh, nasty.
- 26:36Speaker 1: What about church? What about when they burn it a church?
- 26:38Speaker 7: Oh?
- 26:38Speaker 3: I don't like it there either. I love it at church.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I just don't like the smell of it. But I
- 26:43Speaker 3: do like those pants, and I think they're cool because
- 26:45Speaker 3: you can wear them with other shit too. You don't
- 26:47Speaker 3: have to wear the full jumpsuit together.
- 26:49Speaker 7: You're right, yeah, yeah, I think this is called the set.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what they would call that. I believe is
- 26:55Speaker 3: the shirt from the same place, same set. Yes, Rice,
- 27:00Speaker 3: you said, how much did that run you?
- 27:02Speaker 1: I won't say, you gotta say you gotta be careful.
- 27:05Speaker 3: We're in a recession right now. Everyone's taking hits.
- 27:11Speaker 1: The last people that are gonna take hitch on the
- 27:13Speaker 1: comics people are gonna need to last.
- 27:15Speaker 7: Recession proof comedy is I don't know about that.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I don't know about that either.
- 27:20Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 27:20Speaker 3: But it's actually like one of the first things to go.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I'll say, watch it on TV. Yeah, we could go
- 27:29Speaker 3: spend money, or we could just I guess we could
- 27:31Speaker 3: just watch turn the TV on.
- 27:34Speaker 7: I had such a fun time in Kansas City. The
- 27:36Speaker 7: crowds were awesome, oh yeah, really really great shows. Thank
- 27:40Speaker 7: you to everyone who came out. Super super fun. I
- 27:43Speaker 7: like Kansas City. It's an interesting place. Have you spent
- 27:47Speaker 7: any time down there?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:48Speaker 7: With round you guys went down for that barbecue the BBQ. Yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 7: I gotta say barbecue awesome. Don't need to have it
- 27:56Speaker 7: more than once.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I haven't had it since we went.
- 27:58Speaker 7: In a six month period.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I think that even might be a stretch.
- 28:03Speaker 7: My heart hurts so much after I eat it. Yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 7: and there's no way to not There's no way to
- 28:09Speaker 7: eat a light barbecue lunch, you know what I mean.
- 28:13Speaker 3: But people that live in places like that do that,
- 28:16Speaker 3: like the lust break.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Second lunch break, let's hit slaps.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Yeah, take down seven pounds of meat.
- 28:22Speaker 7: It's it's the second fattest city in America.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, what's first?
- 28:27Speaker 7: Philadelphia?
- 28:28Speaker 3: No?
- 28:29Speaker 7: Yeah, no, that's what they say.
- 28:31Speaker 3: It's got to be a like somewhere in the South.
- 28:33Speaker 7: No, this is what I was told. I mean, I
- 28:36Speaker 7: could be wrong. We should look that up.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Have a lot of.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Whales running around, Big domb Tyler.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Could you look up the fattest cities in America?
- 28:45Speaker 3: Yeah, Big Dom, I might bring up the overall average.
- 28:49Speaker 3: He's a big boy's fat. Is he fat though, or
- 28:52Speaker 3: is he just fucking massive?
- 28:54Speaker 1: I think it's like defensive tackle fat. So he's got
- 28:56Speaker 1: fat on top of muscle.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Oh.
- 28:58Speaker 3: You know what I watched last night, Jackson Mississippi.
- 29:03Speaker 7: Oh okay, barbecue.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think it's like murder capital, Like there's different metrics
- 29:08Speaker 1: that they weigh it by.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're big bones down south.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Too, they're not measuring bone, yeah, which is a massive part.
- 29:18Speaker 3: You know what I watched last night was that uh,
- 29:21Speaker 3: that Long Island.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Killer Killer Jogo. I started that one.
- 29:24Speaker 3: You didn't finish it?
- 29:25Speaker 7: No, oh crazy, It didn't really hook me.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Oh, it hooked me immediately.
- 29:29Speaker 7: I guess because the women were just wharse.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Well, that's kind of the whole argument. It's kind of
- 29:35Speaker 3: what the whole show is about. What you could kill
- 29:38Speaker 3: because it took them like twenty years to find the
- 29:41Speaker 3: dude that they could have found in six weeks because
- 29:43Speaker 3: they were prostitutes, because they didn't give a fuck, right, dude,
- 29:46Speaker 3: it's insane. You gotta watch it. Could you want me
- 29:49Speaker 3: to spoil it?
- 29:50Speaker 7: No? No, no, I mean I remember reading the news reports,
- 29:52Speaker 7: so so don't I'll spoilers. I'll go back and watch
- 29:55Speaker 7: it a little bit.
- 29:56Speaker 3: The ship with the cops is insane.
- 29:59Speaker 7: And why when I say that, I was trying to
- 30:01Speaker 7: be funny. But the truth of the matter is, like
- 30:03Speaker 7: I didn't feel good. Why I felt kind of gross
- 30:08Speaker 7: watching it.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I get that with a lot of those docks. Yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 3: this one I didn't. Oh, but it just happens, you know,
- 30:14Speaker 3: you can't control it. No, like the some of those documentaries,
- 30:17Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not in the mood for this at all.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Turn it off.
- 30:19Speaker 7: I didn't know much about last was in the mood
- 30:22Speaker 7: escort service and how that worked.
- 30:26Speaker 3: No, I didn't really know how it worked either.
- 30:27Speaker 7: These women have drivers who drive them around pimps. Are
- 30:32Speaker 7: they pimps or are they like security guys.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I guess security probably, but similar I.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Think they're hired by the pimps.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I'm sure they'll, you know, or maybe just slap one
- 30:41Speaker 3: of their girls if they got to at least shake
- 30:43Speaker 3: them up a little bit. Can I talk about the
- 30:46Speaker 3: cop part? Spoilers? Spoiler because people get mad when I
- 30:51Speaker 3: spoil things. But it's a documentary, you.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Know, it's it's already been spoiled.
- 30:54Speaker 3: It's already been spoiled. And also didn't happen that long ago. Dude,
- 30:57Speaker 3: the fucking cop, the chief of police in that area
- 31:01Speaker 3: of Long Island was fucking prostitutes and like degrading them,
- 31:06Speaker 3: oh boy, and that's why, that's why the investigation just
- 31:09Speaker 3: like never happened. And then and then some random drug
- 31:14Speaker 3: addicts was like robbing cars in Long Island and accidentally
- 31:18Speaker 3: robbed the chief of Police's car and he like stole
- 31:22Speaker 3: his briefcase and he like unzipped it and it was
- 31:24Speaker 3: just like all porno and like weird sex toys and
- 31:28Speaker 3: like freak shit. And then like immediately like they fired
- 31:31Speaker 3: him and they brought in the FBI and they found
- 31:33Speaker 3: the dude in six weeks and it was that was
- 31:36Speaker 3: twelve years going on the investigation. Yeah.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Crazy, imagine not being able to do freak shit, I know,
- 31:43Speaker 1: getting fired from your police job for doing freak shit.
- 31:46Speaker 3: He was on some freak shit though, big time hair ball.
- 31:51Speaker 7: What you like the freak shit, No, you get real freak.
- 31:55Speaker 3: No, not at all, A bit of a freak, not
- 31:57Speaker 3: at all. I'm the least freaking.
- 32:00Speaker 7: I'm into your apartment.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Lower it's probably from giving birth.
- 32:15Speaker 7: What a moment, I know.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Guys, Can we talk about rose sparks. Roast barks a
- 32:20Speaker 1: two to one prescription treatment for longer, harder erections. Okay,
- 32:27Speaker 1: every day's erection day if you're using roe sparks because
- 32:31Speaker 1: they hit the bloodstream faster, then they dissolve under the tongue,
- 32:35Speaker 1: and getting hard faster means more sex hmmmm. Okay, and
- 32:41Speaker 1: after they dissolve, they're working about fifteen minutes on average.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Because guys who use roast barks have thicker, longer erections
- 32:49Speaker 1: okay than you usually have because they get fuller.
- 32:53Speaker 7: I'm so sick of all my thin erections.
- 32:56Speaker 1: That are still hungry. I want mine to be full
- 32:59Speaker 1: as hell, thin and thin, short erections.
- 33:04Speaker 7: Just once in my life?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Are you tired of your erection being like a stick
- 33:08Speaker 1: of gum?
- 33:09Speaker 7: Wanted to be thick?
- 33:11Speaker 1: I wanted to be thick and TH's.

- 36:13Speaker 3: But the documentary is crazy. You should watch it. If
- 36:15Speaker 3: you like Karen read One, I think you would like
- 36:16Speaker 3: this one.
- 36:17Speaker 7: I do like the Karen Read One. I like a
- 36:20Speaker 7: documentary where to be honest, where it's not entirely clear
- 36:23Speaker 7: what the outcome is or what the right answer is.
- 36:25Speaker 7: That you have to sort of determine.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Your own, make your own guesses, conclusion about what you have.
- 36:32Speaker 3: There's not much of that in this No, this is
- 36:34Speaker 3: pretty cut and dry. This is pretty cut and dry,
- 36:37Speaker 3: but it is insane. It's one of the better true
- 36:41Speaker 3: crime docs I've seen in my opinion.
- 36:43Speaker 7: All right, well then I'll give it another run.
- 36:45Speaker 3: But it might just be because everything that like I've
- 36:47Speaker 3: we've talked about it before. But all those old like
- 36:49Speaker 3: the ones I don't know some of them are like
- 36:52Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 36:53Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like we've moved out of the golden
- 36:56Speaker 7: age of true crime docs and now what we need
- 36:59Speaker 7: are we need good new crimes to happen for them.
- 37:04Speaker 7: You know that we covered all the best ones. Yeah, right,
- 37:07Speaker 7: so we need good new crimes to happen. But people
- 37:12Speaker 7: are less willing to commit good crimes because they know
- 37:15Speaker 7: that documentaries will be made about them.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that they're you think they're less willing. I feel
- 37:21Speaker 3: like i'd be more willing. Well, like if you're a
- 37:24Speaker 3: serial killer, Like, wouldn't you be like this is shit,
- 37:26Speaker 3: this is gonna be on HBO, Like I better get
- 37:29Speaker 3: these numbers up, get to work.
- 37:31Speaker 7: Yeah, but I think most well do do serial A
- 37:35Speaker 7: lot of people say serial killers want to be caught,
- 37:38Speaker 7: but I don't know if that's true for everyone.
- 37:41Speaker 3: For all of doubt that.
- 37:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I think my guess would be that most serial
- 37:44Speaker 7: killers don't want to be caught.
- 37:46Speaker 3: I'd guess that they'd want to kill. There's a serial
- 37:52Speaker 3: killer in Massachusetts. Who are they killing everyone?
- 37:57Speaker 7: How many were the stats? Whoah, that is pretty good
- 38:05Speaker 7: in Hanover, Hanover, mass twelve bodies three months.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Shit, that's close to my old stomping grounds. That's scary.
- 38:17Speaker 3: People got to stop serial killing. But I will say,
- 38:20Speaker 3: I think I've said this before many times too, that
- 38:23Speaker 3: I thought there was never going to be another serial
- 38:24Speaker 3: killer like that, because I just assumed that the cops
- 38:27Speaker 3: would be able to catch them after they killed like
- 38:29Speaker 3: one person. But it doesn't seem that that that's the
- 38:33Speaker 3: truth at all. All it takes is you just need
- 38:36Speaker 3: one of the chief of police to also enjoyed killing prostitutes.
- 38:40Speaker 7: Look at the ones where you know, the one that
- 38:42Speaker 7: about that rich family in South Carolina.
- 38:45Speaker 3: The Murdos.
- 38:46Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it's all about sort of political power. Yeah,
- 38:50Speaker 7: that's what determines how long you can get away with
- 38:53Speaker 7: that kind of a thing.
- 38:54Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 38:55Speaker 7: I didn't know families like the Murdogs could still existed. Yeah,
- 39:01Speaker 7: where they just fully run a town and we haven't.
- 39:04Speaker 3: But they are not in any office or anything like it.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Shots people the.
- 39:08Speaker 7: Law doesn't apply like the Kings.
- 39:11Speaker 3: It's literally like the Great Yatsby with the fucking white card. Yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 3: where you just the key's going two hundred miles per
- 39:17Speaker 3: hour and gets pulled over and just he doesn't even
- 39:19Speaker 3: get pulled over. The cops like driving trying to pull
- 39:21Speaker 3: him over, and he just flashes the white card and
- 39:24Speaker 3: they just peel out, what's going on?
- 39:26Speaker 1: You?
- 39:26Speaker 7: Okay?
- 39:29Speaker 6: Out of nowhere.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I don't know what it was?
- 39:31Speaker 7: You better? Did you fix it?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:33Speaker 3: I had my stomach and do a little time.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I do a little tummy time. Yeah, it fixed. And
- 39:41Speaker 1: but I got great news while I was out there.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Hank said I should come to the fucking thing, to
- 39:46Speaker 1: the Ryder Cup. Yeah, he texted me out of nowhere,
- 39:49Speaker 1: right the writer. He said, let's get little sass in
- 39:54Speaker 1: the writer Cup. You should come as well and do
- 39:57Speaker 1: en course interviews.
- 39:58Speaker 7: Nice.
- 40:01Speaker 1: He knows that me and you are his handlers basically,
- 40:04Speaker 1: and they're like, hey, like can we get him this place?
- 40:06Speaker 1: It's like, hey, I don't know. I have to send
- 40:08Speaker 1: it up to the top.
- 40:09Speaker 3: And this is north Boston, north of Boston.
- 40:12Speaker 7: Yeah maybe maybe thirty five forty minutes and I think
- 40:16Speaker 7: it's northwest.
- 40:17Speaker 3: That's gonna be fun.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'm excited it's a great south Shore guy. But I'll
- 40:21Speaker 1: come up there.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, I can't wait to just get out
- 40:23Speaker 3: on the links for a couple of days.
- 40:25Speaker 7: It was really fun. Stress, it was intense.
- 40:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 40:28Speaker 7: It's like Kirk, yeah screamed at all.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's gonna find all of my deepest insecurities.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Try try making a putt. Try making a putt when
- 40:39Speaker 7: Kirk's like, by the way you talk over people, and.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Shane was right, try making a putt when he like
- 40:46Speaker 1: tells your parents that you have a crippling weed habit.
- 40:50Speaker 3: It's not even funny, bro, You literally just were outside
- 40:54Speaker 3: rolling around on the ground.
- 40:56Speaker 1: You should have just laughed at it and then it
- 40:58Speaker 1: would actually be funny. Is that m gonna?
- 41:00Speaker 7: It's not even funny.
- 41:00Speaker 3: It's not even funny.
- 41:02Speaker 7: You think I smoked weed, Well, you're fixing your back.
- 41:06Speaker 7: I don't know if that's really the tit for.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I didn't have that to give them because you know,
- 41:09Speaker 3: I don't smoke.
- 41:10Speaker 1: You know, I'm on the straight and arrow and that
- 41:12Speaker 1: the only thing I'm doing, the only thing I'm really
- 41:14Speaker 1: put into my body is incense and holy water at church.
- 41:17Speaker 3: No, that's good. That does that You're missing a lot
- 41:20Speaker 3: of the you know basics, protein, fats, carbs.
- 41:26Speaker 1: You're saying, I don't put those into my body.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but you just going if you're doing incense and
- 41:31Speaker 3: holy I don't know how sustainable of a diet that is.
- 41:34Speaker 1: What do you think the body and blood of Christ star?
- 41:36Speaker 3: Well, you didn't say you were eating the body.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not putting it into my body. I'm taking
- 41:40Speaker 1: it into my soul.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Got it.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's so nice when they throw the water at you
- 41:46Speaker 1: at church and you just get like boot cocked by
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't like when.
- 41:49Speaker 3: They do that at all.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Man. That just reminded me of one of the earliest
- 41:53Speaker 7: jokes I ever wrote.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Take us there, bring me Well.
- 41:57Speaker 7: I don't really remember it exactly, but I thought that, Uh.
- 42:02Speaker 7: I thought that to honor the body and blood of Christ,
- 42:06Speaker 7: that the wafer was inadequate food vessel to honor the
- 42:13Speaker 7: body of Christ, and that like shitty wine was also
- 42:18Speaker 7: not I was like, you know, I said something like
- 42:21Speaker 7: give me a six foot hero and a caprice son joke. Yeah, something,
- 42:29Speaker 7: it was like that. Yeah, I don't remember six foot
- 42:32Speaker 7: hero and a caprice.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Son just handing everybody out here.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Come take a slice. Imagine that would be awesome. Just
- 42:41Speaker 3: a pizza.
- 42:43Speaker 7: Everyone, get up front.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Body's a little greasy today.
- 42:49Speaker 1: If Jesus is so fucking magical, he should be like
- 42:52Speaker 1: making himself different things every part of the way.
- 42:54Speaker 7: Lacroix and Lacroix, and we're doing vegan pepperoni today and
- 42:58Speaker 7: to make sure that all of our flock can indulge
- 43:02Speaker 7: in the body.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Of How do you think that goes? Because I'm pretty
- 43:07Speaker 3: sure you can just order those things online the body
- 43:11Speaker 3: of I used.
- 43:11Speaker 1: To have in my house.
- 43:13Speaker 7: Yeah, but aren't they aren't they bless Yeah?
- 43:17Speaker 3: So is there just a dude at like the Amazon
- 43:19Speaker 3: warehouse just blessing.
- 43:20Speaker 1: They get blessed once you get them consecrated, right, Yes,
- 43:25Speaker 1: but I think that they put they put them in
- 43:28Speaker 1: the same containers that like the peanut butter stuff pretzels
- 43:31Speaker 1: come in.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, fucking massive jug They're.
- 43:34Speaker 1: In the massive jugs that you got the cheeseballs and
- 43:37Speaker 1: the pub mix.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so nice, But that's the body that's the body
- 43:41Speaker 3: of Christ in there.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I've I've like fried them up on the pan before,
- 43:45Speaker 1: I've like thrown like put.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Some on them, so I had.
- 43:52Speaker 1: It was just like butter don't. There's not a lot
- 43:55Speaker 1: of weight to them. To add something you you'd have
- 43:58Speaker 1: to kind of layer them.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Out some little mini tacos.
- 44:01Speaker 1: If I ever go on What's for Lunch with Donnie,
- 44:04Speaker 1: I'm definitely having him cook me some crust.
- 44:07Speaker 3: When we did uh, when we were getting crush, we're
- 44:11Speaker 3: doing first communion, we had to practice with like these
- 44:17Speaker 3: these like uh, I think they were just os, the wafers.
- 44:21Speaker 3: Our teacher just like brought in like a fucking gallon
- 44:24Speaker 3: bag of them.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Freaking ass teacher just wanted to play something on your tongues.
- 44:28Speaker 3: No, we didn't. They didn't place it.
- 44:30Speaker 1: So then why do you need practice?
- 44:31Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 44:32Speaker 3: We were fucking seven years old.
- 44:34Speaker 1: It was just eating of cracker.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Hell, you got to practice the walk up and then
- 44:39Speaker 3: you place your hands.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but why do you need something? Why don't you
- 44:42Speaker 1: just put a poker chip in?
- 44:43Speaker 3: Because your child and your brain doesn't work.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Fully, you're the only people that were practicing eating Christ.
- 44:49Speaker 3: You're gonna be doing if you decide to raise your
- 44:51Speaker 3: kids that way, you'll be doing that.
- 44:53Speaker 7: We had a caddy at mac you're going to You're
- 44:56Speaker 7: not going to.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Be going Why are you practicing a fucking cracker.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I definitely will know you won't. They're not wasting crackers
- 45:04Speaker 1: on my rank up the talkover meter, get it, get
- 45:09Speaker 1: it up to another one.
- 45:10Speaker 7: Well, I was kind of wondering about what just happened,
- 45:12Speaker 7: right because I thought Harry was done. So then I
- 45:15Speaker 7: started saying something different, but he wasn't done now, So
- 45:18Speaker 7: I didn't know if that meant that I had talked
- 45:20Speaker 7: over you.
- 45:21Speaker 3: We won't count it, we won't count it. I don't
- 45:23Speaker 3: always know, it'll be a soft count, like a warning,
- 45:26Speaker 3: written warning.
- 45:31Speaker 7: I don't always know when you're done with a thought either.
- 45:36Speaker 7: I think sometimes you say something, I think you're done,
- 45:40Speaker 7: and then you think of an like an afterburner firework
- 45:44Speaker 7: to tag on top. And so I'm not sure you.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Know what's the difference between a hat on a hat
- 45:52Speaker 1: and a tag and a tag, a tag, a hat
- 45:57Speaker 1: on a hat. You know how people commence. Charles was like,
- 45:59Speaker 1: don't put a hat on hat.
- 46:01Speaker 7: I've never heard that.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I've never heard that putting a joke on it.
- 46:04Speaker 3: I thought you were making an Elon musk joke.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Well, that's that's why that phrase has kind of bubbled
- 46:09Speaker 1: back up into people's consciousness people are using it again. No,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I think putting a hat on a hat is like
- 46:14Speaker 1: making a joke on top of a joke. But a
- 46:16Speaker 1: tag is also like a joke adding to a joke.
- 46:18Speaker 7: Yeah. Usually I think a tag is jokes within a
- 46:22Speaker 7: larger joke that lead to the punchline.
- 46:26Speaker 1: So they're before the punchline, not after the punchline.
- 46:28Speaker 7: That's before or after. I feel like right, I mean,
- 46:32Speaker 7: my punchline is usually the end of a joke.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Interesting, dumbass, No wonder you're not selling any tickets in Philly.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Shows are already sold out, what not all of them?
- 46:46Speaker 1: But something are you doing radio while you're out there?
- 46:49Speaker 3: We'll see you might, I might have to.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I got some good stations for you to go.
- 46:56Speaker 3: I don't think that's I don't think that's how it works.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Just go on the morning news.
- 47:01Speaker 3: I think you can just schedule.
- 47:02Speaker 1: You give us twenty two minutes, We'll give you the world.
- 47:05Speaker 3: I think it's just they reach out.
- 47:07Speaker 1: What were you about to say, France before you're so
- 47:09Speaker 1: rudely interrupted?
- 47:10Speaker 7: I can't remember, And you know what.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Something about a hat on a hat phrases.
- 47:14Speaker 7: It's probably for the best.
- 47:15Speaker 3: That was you Ron?
- 47:19Speaker 7: Why don't.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I ask Microsoft Copilot what it means to put a
- 47:21Speaker 1: hat on a hat?
- 47:23Speaker 3: What's Microsoft co pilot?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 47:25Speaker 3: Is that like one of the new ais.
- 47:27Speaker 7: Do you watch Nathan Fielder? Do you watch his new show?
- 47:30Speaker 3: Now what I've heard?
- 47:30Speaker 7: I heard it? This is great. It's incredible.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what everyone's saying.
- 47:34Speaker 7: I can't fathom how he pulls off what he does.
- 47:39Speaker 7: They have so much money to throw at it. He's
- 47:42Speaker 7: staging the most elaborate things that I've ever seen.
- 47:46Speaker 3: So is it real?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 47:48Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's.
- 47:49Speaker 7: Blending fake with real, right, But the people, the problems
- 47:55Speaker 7: he's trying to solve, they're real, are real problems.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I gotta watch it. I heard it's so good.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Have you ever watched the first season?
- 48:03Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 48:03Speaker 3: Pretty solid.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I watched it. I used to worship his whole catalog.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Do you think this season's better than the first?
- 48:09Speaker 7: I'm only one episode in.
- 48:11Speaker 3: That's what the streets have been saying.
- 48:13Speaker 7: It's really really, I mean he's brilliant.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Yeah, he's very funny.
- 48:17Speaker 1: More of a Tommy Smokes guy really in the Smokes
- 48:21Speaker 1: v Fieldler. Yeah, same type of comedy basically. I just
- 48:26Speaker 1: think Tommy's way better at it than Nathan Fielder. Have
- 48:30Speaker 1: you ever watched Love on the Spectrum? I need someone
- 48:32Speaker 1: to watch Love on the Spectrum.
- 48:33Speaker 7: I have a hard time with it.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Do you think it's exploitative?
- 48:37Speaker 7: I don't know what it is. There's just something about
- 48:39Speaker 7: it where I can't quite get to the feel good
- 48:41Speaker 7: part of it. I'm not quite feeling good about it.
- 48:45Speaker 3: I don't know. I've never watched it. Rowan's obsessed with it.
- 48:47Speaker 7: There's something about it where I don't think it's right.
- 48:52Speaker 7: It would be I don't know, like watching midget porn.
- 48:58Speaker 7: Maybe there's just.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Some vision boxing.
- 49:03Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it exploitative feels like the right word.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 49:09Speaker 3: How much are they getting paid?
- 49:10Speaker 1: I mean, the one lady was just on the Damn
- 49:12Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson Show singing the song that she wrote. These
- 49:15Speaker 1: guys are getting famous, they're getting laid, they're getting everything.
- 49:18Speaker 7: I saw the guy who was so excited to see
- 49:20Speaker 7: Jack Black on Maybe Yes and that when they met
- 49:26Speaker 7: felt again. Just you know, where are we observing this?
- 49:31Speaker 3: They're saying it's like the new JFL, New Faces. It's
- 49:34Speaker 3: an outlet.
- 49:36Speaker 1: That's why. Yeah, I heard kill Tony's.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Kill Tony is a direct pipeline to love on the spectrum.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Oh man, it's such a good it feels to me.
- 49:47Speaker 1: It feels so good to watch. Really, I feel no
- 49:50Speaker 1: part of it feels exploitated. That's what I was saying
- 49:52Speaker 1: to him last time, that it doesn't like the music
- 49:54Speaker 1: is nice, and like none of the editing makes it
- 49:57Speaker 1: feel like you're making fun of them, makes you feel
- 49:59Speaker 1: like you're like kind of one with them. I feel
- 50:02Speaker 1: their purity.
- 50:03Speaker 7: I understand both sides of it, and I understand that
- 50:07Speaker 7: this is normalizing people on the spectrum, which is great.
- 50:12Speaker 7: And in the similar way that if you want it,
- 50:15Speaker 7: if you had a role in a movie that was
- 50:17Speaker 7: for a handicapped person, casting an actor who is who
- 50:22Speaker 7: has that handicapped is better than putting DiCaprio exactly in
- 50:26Speaker 7: a wheelchair or something like that. I get I get
- 50:28Speaker 7: that right. Yeah, if they had just a bunch of
- 50:31Speaker 7: random people without autism or whatever pretending to have autism
- 50:36Speaker 7: for a reality show, that that would be bad.
- 50:38Speaker 3: That would be a problem.
- 50:39Speaker 7: Yeah, that'd be a problem. Good.
- 50:41Speaker 3: I'm sure there's at least one. Let's snuck his way.
- 50:44Speaker 7: On little What's that movie with Johnny Knoxville, The Ringer yeah.
- 50:50Speaker 3: I've never seen it.
- 50:51Speaker 7: The Ringer, Yeah, he does pretty good movie.
- 50:54Speaker 1: They do that.
- 50:55Speaker 7: Well, he goes and competes. He pretends to have to
- 50:58Speaker 7: be mentally handicapped in order to compete in the Special Olympics.
- 51:03Speaker 7: But imagine if someone pretended to have to be on
- 51:06Speaker 7: the spectrum just to go have sex people.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure there's there's gotta be I mean,
- 51:11Speaker 3: how many seasons are there?
- 51:13Speaker 7: Three?
- 51:15Speaker 3: Fourth season? Though there will be one show them pretty
- 51:20Speaker 3: good shows getting too big?
- 51:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but that I think that that would be less
- 51:23Speaker 1: of a chance. I think it's like when if it
- 51:25Speaker 1: was the Wild West, maybe somebody could sneak on.
- 51:28Speaker 3: I think someone's gonna get on with the right agent.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Well, what what would the like? I mean, what would
- 51:34Speaker 1: the caper be?
- 51:35Speaker 3: We got an audition for you? Do you have to do?
- 51:37Speaker 3: You think they have to send in a self tape?
- 51:39Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 51:40Speaker 3: Show what's off your show? Show off your scale. I
- 51:44Speaker 3: can name all of the I know all of.
- 51:46Speaker 1: The houses from Game of Phones. It's so fucking good.
- 51:54Speaker 1: It's so uh. I mean, all the characters are so likable,
- 51:58Speaker 1: and you'd think that because a lot of them haven't
- 52:00Speaker 1: been able to find love up to like whatever, thirty
- 52:02Speaker 1: five years in life, that they'd be picky, or that
- 52:05Speaker 1: they wouldn't be picky, that they would, but a lot
- 52:07Speaker 1: of them like will be like, hey, you're not for me,
- 52:10Speaker 1: You're not what I'm looking for, You're not outgoing enough, or.
- 52:14Speaker 3: They probably are. They all super straightforward, some of them are.
- 52:18Speaker 1: But some of them have like coaches who have to
- 52:20Speaker 1: tell them, hey, these are the things that you should
- 52:22Speaker 1: say if you're not into someone, I think we should
- 52:23Speaker 1: just be friends or at a really nice time.
- 52:25Speaker 3: See that feels weird.
- 52:27Speaker 1: They have coaches, yeah, who are also on the spectrum.
- 52:29Speaker 7: That sounds like the show made well, yeah, it's a
- 52:33Speaker 7: bit maidish dating coach.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Yeah, the Maid coach. It's kind of like that.
- 52:39Speaker 3: And their coaches are also autistic, yes.
- 52:41Speaker 1: But like a different flavor of autism.
- 52:43Speaker 7: Man, there was a girl from Maine when I was
- 52:46Speaker 7: in high school who got on Maid and I only
- 52:50Speaker 7: found out because I was doing the One Act Festival,
- 52:53Speaker 7: which was like an acting festival theater in high school.
- 52:56Speaker 7: It was a competition, so you'd rehearse your play and
- 53:00Speaker 7: then you'd go do it. And this girl was from
- 53:04Speaker 7: you know, the middle of nowhere, Maine. But everyone would
- 53:08Speaker 7: come up when we would all talk and say like, yeah,
- 53:10Speaker 7: she was on she was on Maid.
- 53:14Speaker 1: What was she trying to be made into? Made?
- 53:16Speaker 7: I think she was trying to become she was like
- 53:20Speaker 7: very shy and then wanted to be prom queen or something.
- 53:23Speaker 1: That's all. That's how it works. It's a shy person.
- 53:25Speaker 1: They do exposure therapy.
- 53:26Speaker 7: Yeah, they were trying to get her to be prom
- 53:29Speaker 7: queen and don't I don't know if it was prom
- 53:30Speaker 7: queen or something.
- 53:31Speaker 3: They didn't get it.
- 53:33Speaker 7: I think she might have probably. I mean, when you
- 53:35Speaker 7: have an entire MTV camera crew running around, it tends
- 53:38Speaker 7: to tip the hand of the voters in favor.
- 53:41Speaker 1: That would piss me off if I was the deserving
- 53:43Speaker 1: prom queen so much.
- 53:45Speaker 7: Yeah, if you were the baddest bitch.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Four years being the baddest bitch, like cultivating bad bit
- 53:50Speaker 1: and then.
- 53:51Speaker 7: Yeah, but that girl went on to get like good
- 53:54Speaker 7: work at Denny's, and you know the girl on Maid
- 53:57Speaker 7: is nobody knows what she's doing.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess this was.
- 54:02Speaker 7: I think it was like Oxford Hill's main it was
- 54:04Speaker 7: the name of the town. Can we find we should
- 54:07Speaker 7: look that up? If you were in it, I met
- 54:09Speaker 7: the girl I talked to her at the festival. Oh
- 54:11Speaker 7: really yeah, and she was like downplaying it. She was like, yeah,
- 54:14Speaker 7: they didn't really do that much for me.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I was going to win anyway.
- 54:19Speaker 7: Yeah, It's like, I don't know, a lot of it
- 54:21Speaker 7: was kind of bullshit, Like the edit didn't really come out.
- 54:23Speaker 7: I wanted it to, like they made. They made so
- 54:27Speaker 7: much of a big deal about the fact that I
- 54:28Speaker 7: was like barely talking to this guy. I swear to
- 54:33Speaker 7: you it was that type of a conversation. Meanwhile, we're
- 54:36Speaker 7: at the nerdiest thing you could possibly be at the
- 54:40Speaker 7: One Act Theater Festival. It's theater kids, and I mean
- 54:45Speaker 7: across the board, like a cappella circles were breaking out.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:50Speaker 7: People brought devil sticks that to kill time. You ever
- 54:55Speaker 7: see devil sticks the Chinese? Ye? Yeah, there was a guy,
- 54:58Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 54:59Speaker 1: It's like two sticks and then there's like a longer
- 55:01Speaker 1: stick with dreadlocks in the middle and you smack it back.
- 55:04Speaker 3: I have seen that, Yeah, I would have.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Like, isn't there a little bit.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Of Yeah, yeah, I've seen that.
- 55:10Speaker 7: There was a guy. There was always a talent show
- 55:12Speaker 7: that would happen at the end that it was sort
- 55:14Speaker 7: of break out and some of the people had some talent,
- 55:18Speaker 7: But what.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Did you perform?
- 55:20Speaker 7: Well, I would see it.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Really yeah, that's a role you were born to play.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Would you do it?
- 55:25Speaker 3: Well?
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:26Speaker 7: I made sure everyone got excited and you know, brought
- 55:29Speaker 7: the noise up.
- 55:30Speaker 3: And when was this high school? Dang, you were in
- 55:33Speaker 3: high school.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:34Speaker 7: I still have my sweatshirt from it. Now. Listen, if
- 55:37Speaker 7: you had a monogram one Act Festival regional championship.
- 55:41Speaker 3: That's crazy. You were m seeing when you were in
- 55:43Speaker 3: high school.
- 55:44Speaker 7: I was in the one act but I just like
- 55:46Speaker 7: I had the the jobs charisma, had to go on
- 55:50Speaker 7: stage and be.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Like all right, yeah, some talent, but it.
- 55:56Speaker 7: Was there was no selectivity to it, so people were
- 55:58Speaker 7: just coming up in a theater of four hundred people.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Do you think that Did that have anything to do
- 56:03Speaker 3: with your uh? Your like your dad you said your
- 56:06Speaker 3: dad does stuff like that, right, No, or he speaks.
- 56:10Speaker 1: He memorized, the memorized at the talent show in Florida.
- 56:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:16Speaker 3: Nothing, Those are completely disconnected. He didn't do that when
- 56:18Speaker 3: you were younger.
- 56:19Speaker 7: If you want to go that route, I see your reasoning.
- 56:22Speaker 7: I would say that the career I've chosen is more
- 56:24Speaker 7: in line with the hereditary outspokenness I received from my dad.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he understood.
- 56:32Speaker 1: That must be so nice. How often your parents come
- 56:35Speaker 1: to you do comedy?
- 56:36Speaker 7: Never?
- 56:37Speaker 1: Why?
- 56:39Speaker 7: Because I tell them not to? Yeah?
- 56:41Speaker 3: It do the same.
- 56:42Speaker 1: What do they say?
- 56:43Speaker 7: I tell them not to watch anything that I'm in?
- 56:46Speaker 1: Really they don't listen though, Yeah, because I want to
- 56:50Speaker 1: know what you're all in.
- 56:52Speaker 3: They listen to like the pod. Actually, I don't even
- 56:54Speaker 3: know if my parents listen to the podcast.
- 56:55Speaker 7: My parents don't know that I have a podcast. I'm
- 56:57Speaker 7: not even kidding you. They thought my show with Dan
- 57:00Speaker 7: was a podcast. Well, and they referenced that. They referenced that,
- 57:04Speaker 7: and they say, how's the podcast going? And I'm like,
- 57:05Speaker 7: it's pretty good. Are you watching it? They're like, yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 7: you guys just did Black Holes. I'm like, yes, yes,
- 57:12Speaker 7: the podcast is going great. Little do they know I
- 57:15Speaker 7: spend two hours a week talking to you guys about
- 57:18Speaker 7: fucking Spectrum Love and fucking nine eleven pretty much all
- 57:23Speaker 7: the time.
- 57:24Speaker 3: Yeah, they could find it. Yeah, No, my parents have
- 57:27Speaker 3: your I mean, I'm assuming your parents have seen you
- 57:28Speaker 3: do comedy, though they have.
- 57:29Speaker 7: They've been to Boston, they came and saw me at
- 57:31Speaker 7: the Wilberg when I did the special there.
- 57:33Speaker 1: They must have been proud of you.
- 57:34Speaker 7: My dad in the concession line was talking to some
- 57:38Speaker 7: guys oshilarious, you guys like Francis, that's my boy.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Have I alway told you the story when I got
- 57:44Speaker 3: hired at Barstool. My grandma was this is when they
- 57:48Speaker 3: lived on Cape Cobb. But my grandma was like, people
- 57:50Speaker 3: were at her house doing yard work or some shit,
- 57:55Speaker 3: and they were listening to like ESPN radio or some
- 57:57Speaker 3: some shit like that, and my grandma went outside and
- 57:59Speaker 3: was like, like, you guys know little satifon to like
- 58:04Speaker 3: the crew of workers. And they were like what and
- 58:08Speaker 3: she was like, they was like, he's uh, he does
- 58:11Speaker 3: sports stuff too.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It's so funny because she like genuinely is like proud
- 58:19Speaker 1: of you and uh just wants to share and her
- 58:23Speaker 1: pride in you, and you're like, fucking idiot. Grandmom thought
- 58:26Speaker 1: out not at all, So so explained to me, you
- 58:30Speaker 1: got the wrong.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Explain it to me that not at all what I
- 58:33Speaker 3: was saying. I was saying it was funny, funny story. Yeah,
- 58:36Speaker 3: why my mom told me the story laughing, Yeah, it
- 58:39Speaker 3: was a funny story. Well, there was no way that
- 58:41Speaker 3: those dudes would know who I was.
- 58:42Speaker 1: And your grandmam thought so highly of you that she
- 58:45Speaker 1: was just trying to connect with strangers over your success.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Is subjectively funny. To have my grandma go out and
- 58:49Speaker 3: ask who I am, and then a bunch of Mexican
- 58:51Speaker 3: dudes said, we have no idea what you're talking about.
- 58:54Speaker 7: Hold on a second, sass. You said objectively funny. I
- 58:56Speaker 7: don't think anything in humor is really objective. Funny, humor
- 58:59Speaker 7: entire until now, subjective.
- 59:01Speaker 3: I would say, yeah, until now, until I made the
- 59:03Speaker 3: perfect joke.
- 59:05Speaker 7: You've said, you you've planted the flag on the moon.
- 59:08Speaker 7: It's an objective comedy.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Everyone on earth will find that story funny.
- 59:12Speaker 7: I thought it was funny.
- 59:13Speaker 3: I had a whole different idea on it.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's not objectively funny, it's subjectively funny.
- 59:20Speaker 3: It's objectively funny.
- 59:21Speaker 7: If he didn't find it funny, that makes it subjective.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Well, I just thought it was mean spirited towards your grandma.
- 59:27Speaker 3: But I know he thinks it's funny.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Now. That's why I get why you can't watch Love
- 59:30Speaker 1: on the Spectrum, because you can't help but to laugh
- 59:32Speaker 1: at people who you deem to be less fortunate or
- 59:35Speaker 1: intelligent thing less fortunate.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Why would I call an autistic person less fortune?
- 59:38Speaker 1: I say, you deem them.
- 59:40Speaker 3: But it sounded like you were projecting, because those words
- 59:42Speaker 3: have never come out of my mouth.
- 59:43Speaker 1: How would I project?
- 59:44Speaker 3: Because you clearly think it's hilarious to watch autistic people
- 59:48Speaker 3: try to follow him love.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I think he's the sweetest thing ever.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what everyone says that watches that show. They're like, no,
- 59:56Speaker 3: but it is really sweet, And it's like, no, you're
- 59:58Speaker 3: at home trying, laughing with and chips all over your chest,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: laying on the couch. Everyone that watches each other like
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: it's actually I know what you think, Yes, but it
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: is very touching.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: No, that's how I am with little people, big world
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and six hundred pound life.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: Okay, oh man, six hundred pound life. I can't watch
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: that either.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Because it's touch it it's too touching.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Oh man.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I just they make that seem really sad, like the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: music's sad, like the editing is sad. They the camera
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: angle is literally one foot away from their stomach with
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: their face in the background, like they make people look dude.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: They make everyone shower, ask naked for them.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: Did you see the one with the redheaded guy who
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: just plays video games all the time. Probably his name's Nate.
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: Harry's Nate. What if it was just all along the
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: guy that hair ball games with who lived in.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Main My friend, it's not just a guy that I
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: gave notice game.
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: They had to leave Maine because it didn't have enough
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: wheelchair access.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Rams drive down to Houston, so.
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: There weren't enough wheelchair enabled TCB wise, it.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Is interesting, like you'd think gaming is like a direct
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: pipeline to weight gain, but a lot of the gamers
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: are like just skinny dudes.
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: This guy in this episode was whatever, six hundred pounds
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: or something, and he can't wear clothes because he gets
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: too hot. He sits in the middle of his bed
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: and his dad.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I think, I think you've told me about this.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: His dad brings him lunch or it's I think it's
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: his dad. His parents are divorced, yeah, and his mom
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: doesn't want him to be so fat. But the dad's like,
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: but the dad says, like that the food makes him happy.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: I don't know. I mean, obviously I know it's not
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: good for him, but like it seems to be the
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: only thing that makes him happy, and his dad goes
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: to get him McDonald's. Yeah. Uh. And he comes back
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: with the bag of McDonald's and the guy who's naked,
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: does he at least have like a sheet over his No,
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: he's fully naked, but his his stomach hangs over his genitals,
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: so I.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Can't see it.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: You can't do it.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: He he reaches into the bag, and he had a
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: specific order and he wants and he goes, well, I
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: think you're gonna have to go back. They didn't they
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: didn't bring the right thing. They didn't bring they didn't
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: give you the double filet of fish. There's a mistake
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: in the order. Yeah, And he goes back, right, I
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: think he goes Yeah, sacrifices his own lunch so that the.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Kid can do it his own Macas.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I think that none of those people exist without the enabler,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: and that's the real villain of all the stories.
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: That's what I've learned from that. Yeah, And by by
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: that sort of side of it, you could argue that
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: the government is enabling because I think a lot of
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: them are on disability.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Couldn't you say though, that, like some people are just
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: born to eat.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: I'm born to eat. I'm buddy eat. You've seen the
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: way I eat.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: No you're not, though, Yeah you are.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: You've seen the way.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: I've seen the way you eat. But you're not born
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: to like I don't know what you're even talking. We're
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: talking about the dudes that are nine hundred pounds.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: Okay, you're not born to eat. I eat voraciously.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: But if you were born to eat, you wouldn't be skinny,
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: you wouldn't.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: But well, that's true healthy food, but I eat humongous
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: quantities of it.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm talking about like a real eater.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's not true because two of the best
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: eaters of all time, the best male eater of all
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: time and the best female eater of all time, Joey
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Chestnut not super fat and Sonya Thomas the Black Widow
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: not super fat.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Kobayashi ripped.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Kobyashi was ripped. I mean, yeah, I guess that's true.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: You're thinking of you think you could like out eat
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: out eat one of those guys.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: I don't know. I'm not sure about that. I'm just
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: saying that most people know me, Like when I go
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: over to people's houses for dinner parties, they prepare.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I've gone to dinner with you, and you do
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: eat a lot. Like when we went to get those
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: steaks in Wisconsin. Yeah, me and Mook had like half
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: of ours and you did the dishes.
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: I licked everyone's clean French is just coming. Yeah, throw
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: another full hole. I've always, always, my whole life, I've
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: always eaten enormous amounts of food. But I just eat
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: healthy food, and I exercise like a madman.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: My parents used to call me nibbles.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I know that's not a lie.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: I swear to God just very because I wouldn't eat anything.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: You're very peckish.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: I don't think I'm even like. Yeah, I would say
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: I am packish, yeah, but I'm not like I'm not,
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: but I wouldn't say I'm a picky eater.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I am.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: I am packish, but I'm not a picky eater.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: You just don't eat very much of stuff.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: I just don't eat unless I'm like really hungry. Like
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I don't usually sit down and eat the full meal
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: at once. You can you mop around. I eat over time,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: stories as the day goes on through the night.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: But you do eat. Do you eat it? You know,
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: three in the morning.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: No, no, no, But you're up till four, So you
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: have dinner. It up till I'm up till like two thirty.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Usually you eat dinner at what time, be honest, it
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: really depends on the day. Sometimes midnight, not really, that's
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: like worst case scenario. Sometimes like ten ten, you know,
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: but also like I usually aim for like seven.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: Okay, so that's what I was wondering.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: But then you need to rolls in around ten. That's
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: where something's going in the stomach around ten for sure.
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I was warning. There's no way that
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: you or anyone I know could eat dinner at seven
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: o'clock and then not be hungry again by four am.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: No, yeah, I definitely get but I'll like, I'll snack.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: That's what I'm wondering. Yeah, so you you do eat
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: quite late.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I do, and I don't really get that hungry during
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: the day, which is a problem.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: Yeah, you are doing the opposite with your metabolism. From
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: whatever medical journals ever.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: They say you're supposed to eat when you wake up
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: to jump start it right.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: Well, I think it's that. And it's also like don't
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: eat late and don't snack.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I do all those things.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: Eat smaller meals throughout the day.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Oh I do that. I eat smaller meals, meals throughout
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: the day, but then I just eat a big meal.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Like all I've had today is overnight oats.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: I'm fine with that. Well it's now, it's four, so yeah,
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: you should have had lunch.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: But I would have had lunch around two if we
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: weren't recording.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I had some spicy ramen today. I went to a
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: ramen restaurant. It was so fucking nice.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Said, you had spicy ramen on Monday.
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: No.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I had spicy robin the day that my yeah birth,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: and I was craving it. I think it was could
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: be talked about it.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Yeah, probably it sounds I love ramen. Maybe I'll get
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: some ramen tonight.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: We should go to that place around the corner.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: Yeah we should, well, not today, not today, probably never.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Realistically, you don't like going to lunch with your bros.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Casey Nistad has a standing lunch with his bros.
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: Every day, every every day.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Well not the weekends, but Monday through Friday. If you
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: was standing lunch with the guys that he works with.
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: I see him walking around Rebeca one time and I said, hey, Casey,
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: big fan, I'm not.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Hey Casey, I've seen you.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: Actually his work.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: I like case I like Casey, and I said, and
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: I respect his work, but I can't say that I'm
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: a big fan. But I still said it, yeah, which
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: to me is really like, that's pandering.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: You ever watch his first class ticket reviews, They're great, unbelievable.
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Those are really good.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: But if you watch the ones where it's like twenty
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: five thousand dollars ticket, like, yeah.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: It's yeah, those are showers on the plane. Yeah, those
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: are awesome. And then the when he went sort of
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: like towed behind a car when New York snowed and
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: he was doing like.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Oh I did see that.
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: That was cool.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Yeah, that video's sick.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: And then the one that he did the bike lane
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: where he was like, you got a ticket for riding
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: not in the bike lane on his bicycle and he said, well,
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: there's always stuff in the bikelane that you run into,
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: and then he just approved biked in the bike lane
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: and crashed into everything in a cop car. Really, that's crazy,
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: that's very funny. Those were his the viral videos I
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: remember seeing early on opinion.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: I watched his ship when he was doing I didn't
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: watch all of them, but when he did when he
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: used to do like that when he because he was
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: like the first person to do like the Daily Walk
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: and I used to watch some of those. But yeah,
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: he's his stuff was good. He's got to be a
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: problem in person. Why because like I was just thinking
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: about like that, Uh, like those videos like the Emirates
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: where it's like he takes the shower, but it's like
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: it's not like he's just walking into the bathroom. It's
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: like he walks into the bathroom, cameras are there's like
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: multiple angles set up already. Yeah, and meanwhile there's someone
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: else's like, I gotta take a shit, and this dude's
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: filming a fucking movie in the bathroom right now.
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: It might be the case that that each person who
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: has one of those seats gets their own bathroom. I
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: don't know, really, I'm not certain of that.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: It might be, oh you know what, I think they
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: might have to schedule times.
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: Yeah, because they clean the bathroom after each person uses it. Damn.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: It's at best, at worst, it's that. Yeah.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: But that whole style of logging where it's like car
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: pulling out of the parking garage. You got to set
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: up you gotta you know, park the car, go, get
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: the camera on.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Editor, edit around yourself, like the camera as you pick
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: it up?
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: Is this thing fucking working? God damn it, this thing
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: never fucking works.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: He edits the ship out of his videos though. Yeah,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: they're so well edited it's fucking insane.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: All right, should we wrap it up? I guess we've
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: been going for a while.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we can wrap it up. I gotta get home
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to my seed.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: When can we come visit them?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I wanted you. I wanted you to visit them that one.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I mean I have them all day tomorrow because house
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: And has to go to fucking Delaware to deal with
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: some court ship.

- 1:10:10Speaker 3: earlier what I want to splice these in earlier road dates?
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Sure, right, Like let's do them with the ad reads
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: because like no one's making it. We're like it's like
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: two hours in fair enough, right, I feel like that's
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: a more really Yeah, yeah, I feel like most of
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: the podcasts do them like, I mean, I don't think
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: off the top, but I think we could do them
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: with like the first ad read or something.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: All right, I'll be in Dallas at the Addison improv
