  I don't know. That was the era I grew up in and I just had had it.

  And so I told the devil, you can't touch this because you know what? Let's be honest.

  The enemy is always trying to play, always trying to throw things at us,

  always trying to get us fired up, distracted, emotional, discouraged,

  especially when God is actually doing something in our lives.

  So let me say this clearly.

  If you are serving God, if you are focused, if you are healing,

  if you are trying to get better, get ready, because that's usually when the shenanigans begin.

  When you're trying to do God's work or even just trying to obey him,

  you better believe your adversary is going to show up.

  Not always loud, not always obvious, but strategic.

  He'll try to hit you with your health, your peace, your reputation,

  your provision, your confidence. And recently, he tried me.

  I've been dealing with an illness and a cold that knocked me down hard.

  Missing work, worrying about my job, feeling physically weak while still trying

  to stay spiritually strong.

  And then because it always comes in layers, people started coming out of the

  woodworks, old voices, false stories, accusations about things I didn't do.

  And at some point I had enough, not in a flesh way, not in a spiraling way,
• 1:36
  but in a standing on business with God kind of way.

  And I said, it may form, but it will not prosper. Let's say that again.

  It may form, but it will not prosper. Come on, say it even louder wherever you
• 1:50
  are right now in your car.

  Seriously, roll the window down and say, it may form, but it will not prosper.

  That sickness, it may form, but it won't prosper. That attack on your character,

  it may form, but it won't prosper.

  That distraction, delay, or discouragement, it may form, but it won't prosper. Why?

  Because God never said the weapon wouldn't form, but what he did say, it won't prosper.

  You can count on that. So yes, things may be trying to touch your life right now,

  but they don't get to stay. They don't get to define you. They don't get to take you out.

  Because when God is doing something real in your life, resistance doesn't mean you are losing.
