- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: Amy Torver.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'm Kate Torver.
- 0:12Speaker 1: And I'm Sophie Torver. And coming up on today's show,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Sam Guggenheimer admits social media turned her into a mean person.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Matt Zukowski labels Tammy Hembrough's cheating accusations as lies. And
- 0:25Speaker 1: in devastating news, Harry Styles may officially be.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Off the market.
- 0:30Speaker 1: But first, rumours are swirling that Chloe Zepp and Mitch
- 0:34Speaker 1: Orville have broken up again. The influencer couple, who've been
- 0:37Speaker 1: together for over a decade, got engaged in 2024 and
- 0:41Speaker 1: share two young kids together. Now, Kate, what sparked these rumours? Well,
- 0:45Speaker 1: followers have noticed that the pair are no longer following
- 0:47Speaker 1: each other on social media, which is often a telltale
- 0:50Speaker 1: sign that something has gone on behind the scenes. Eagle-eyed
- 0:53Speaker 1: followers also spotted that Chloe is no longer wearing her
- 0:56Speaker 1: engagement ring. She's also removed the term fiancé from her
- 1:00Speaker 1: Instagram bio and unpinned the reel announcing their engagement.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It also appears she's.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Removed some photos with Mitch from her profile, so people
- 1:08Speaker 1: are wondering if she's potentially blocked him. It sounds like
- 1:11Speaker 1: something nasty has gone on because you don't just go
- 1:13Speaker 1: and unfollow the father of your children and delete photos.
- 1:16Speaker 1: If this was some kind of amicable breakup, you would
- 1:19Speaker 1: remain friends. I also think there's an added element that
- 1:22Speaker 1: they're in the public eye. So people are going to
- 1:24Speaker 1: notice these things. It's like she almost wants people to
- 1:27Speaker 1: know that they're not together. Despite all of this going
- 1:30Speaker 1: on behind the scenes, Mitch has been active on socials.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So on Sunday, he shared that he and his sons
- 1:35Speaker 1: were visiting someone in hospital and Mitch made a comment
- 1:37Speaker 1: to the boys that, oh, this is the hospital that
- 1:39Speaker 1: you were born in. He then later shared a quote
- 1:42Speaker 1: that said, the pain of what you're feeling is nothing
- 1:44Speaker 1: compared to the joy that's coming. No matter what shit
- 1:47Speaker 1: situations happen, something good is coming. To me, this is
- 1:51Speaker 1: even more confirmation that they aren't together anymore and that
- 1:54Speaker 1: Mitch is in a troubling spot. Chloe's behavior is sort
- 1:58Speaker 1: of reminiscent of Jules Neal's to a smaller scale, because
- 2:01Speaker 1: I know it might not sound like a big deal
- 2:03Speaker 1: to unfollow someone on social media, but when you are
- 2:05Speaker 1: a prominent influencer, this is a huge sign to your
- 2:08Speaker 1: followers that hey, we're not together, we're not friends, something
- 2:11Speaker 1: has gone on. The awkward thing about it was it
- 2:14Speaker 1: was only a few weeks ago that Chloe was singing
- 2:16Speaker 1: the praises of marriage counselling. So it seems like that
- 2:19Speaker 1: isn't going well. Yeah, we spoke about that a couple
- 2:21Speaker 1: of weeks ago because it appeared to be this undisclosed ad.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And she said at the time she believed every couple
- 2:27Speaker 1: needs to have marriage counselling just before or after they
- 2:30Speaker 1: have kids. She also said that she and Mitch wouldn't
- 2:32Speaker 1: have had such a tumultuous relationship if they had spoken
- 2:35Speaker 1: to a marriage counsellor when they had their first son, Artie.
- 2:39Speaker 1: This is removing all of the good work that Talia
- 2:41Speaker 1: Smythe and her boyfriend Ned have been doing to talk
- 2:43Speaker 1: about how when you do marriage counselling or couple counselling,
- 2:47Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that you're in a hard spot in
- 2:49Speaker 1: your relationship. Yeah, but we spoke about it at the time.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Sometimes people leave marriage counselling or pre-marriage counselling until it's
- 2:56Speaker 1: too late. It's just a strange turn of events considering
- 2:59Speaker 1: they only did the nine-week marriage counselling session at the
- 3:02Speaker 1: end of last year. And they claimed that it completely
- 3:05Speaker 1: transformed their relationship. Mitch even promoted the marriage counsellor at
- 3:09Speaker 1: the start of the year on his Instagram. And when
- 3:12Speaker 1: he did so, he actually revealed that Chloe was the
- 3:14Speaker 1: one that wanted to do it. And he wrote, as males,
- 3:17Speaker 1: when you hear your partner wants to do counselling, you
- 3:20Speaker 1: assume things are over.
- 3:21Speaker 2: But in reality, it feels like a new beginning.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It is a bit awkward, particularly because this was an
- 3:26Speaker 1: ad and they were talking about how much it's helped
- 3:28Speaker 1: their relationship when clearly it hasn't been that helpful. Or
- 3:32Speaker 1: as you said, Amy, maybe it's just been a case
- 3:34Speaker 1: that they left it too late. I think it's also
- 3:36Speaker 1: obvious that Chloe is the one that has pulled the
- 3:38Speaker 1: trigger and made the decision, particularly if she was the
- 3:41Speaker 1: one that came to Mitch and said, look, we need
- 3:43Speaker 1: to see a marriage counsellor. I think what makes it
- 3:45Speaker 1: sadder about her unfollowing Mitch on social media is the
- 3:48Speaker 1: fact that even if they aren't together anymore, they are
- 3:50Speaker 1: still going to have to co-parent their kids. So you
- 3:52Speaker 1: want them to have a good relationship.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm sure it's just a brief thing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Like obviously something has blown up and she's felt like
- 3:58Speaker 1: she needs to block him or remove him. Could this
- 4:00Speaker 1: be a Sky Wheatley-Lockey situation? I hope so because I
- 4:04Speaker 1: love them together. I mean this isn't the first time
- 4:06Speaker 1: they've broken up. They've had a long history together. of
- 4:09Speaker 1: breaking up and getting back together. Remember the movie room situation? Well,
- 4:13Speaker 1: they've been together since they were teenagers. So it's not
- 4:16Speaker 1: unusual for couples who've been together for that long to
- 4:19Speaker 1: have some time apart, break up, get back together. And
- 4:22Speaker 1: a lot has changed for them. I mean, they've got
- 4:23Speaker 1: two young children. Mitch has returned to a nine to
- 4:26Speaker 1: five job. I mean, Chloe's also sold her business and
- 4:30Speaker 1: is a stay at home mom. They found God. Well,
- 4:32Speaker 1: there's also been some financial struggles with the closure of
- 4:35Speaker 1: Zep as well. So that all adds a lot of
- 4:37Speaker 1: pressure to a relationship. I wonder how this is going
- 4:39Speaker 1: to go for Chloe because she has rebranded herself as
- 4:43Speaker 1: a bit of a trad wife online. She's launched a
- 4:46Speaker 1: sub stack, which we spoke about a couple of months ago,
- 4:48Speaker 1: which didn't receive a huge response online. I wonder if
- 4:51Speaker 1: Chloe will open up about this potential breakup in her
- 4:54Speaker 1: sub stack because she launched it a couple of months
- 4:56Speaker 1: ago and she really branded herself as this trad wife
- 4:59Speaker 1: and this stay-at-home mom. Not to be that person, because
- 5:02Speaker 1: I feel really sorry for both Chloe and Mitch, but
- 5:05Speaker 1: we had a lot of backlash when we put up
- 5:07Speaker 1: a TikTok discussing our views on trad wives and how
- 5:11Speaker 1: we didn't agree with it being glamorized. And this is
- 5:14Speaker 1: the issue. If you do break up with your partner
- 5:16Speaker 1: and you are a trad wife, those years that you've
- 5:19Speaker 1: spent in the home, it does set you back if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you don't have other stuff going on. I mean, lucky
- 5:22Speaker 1: for Chloe, she has other things to fall back on.
- 5:25Speaker 1: But this was our very argument. Yeah, but I also
- 5:27Speaker 1: want to point out that I do think that it
- 5:29Speaker 1: is fantastic for kids to have a consistent parent in
- 5:33Speaker 1: their life who does make the sacrifice to be at
- 5:36Speaker 1: home with them and spend time with them, whether that
- 5:38Speaker 1: is the mum or the dad or whether it's shared
- 5:40Speaker 1: equally or there's other, you know, grandparents at home. Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean, I heard Abby Chatfield talking about it, I
- 5:46Speaker 1: think it was last year, and she was saying this
- 5:48Speaker 1: is why the husband should actually give money towards the
- 5:51Speaker 1: wife's super. when you're out of the workforce for a
- 5:55Speaker 1: number of years, just in these kind of situations because
- 5:57Speaker 1: all marriages, unfortunately, they don't all last or relationships. I
- 6:01Speaker 1: know Chloe and Mitch weren't yet married. Well, they've been
- 6:04Speaker 1: together for 10 years and have two kids. They're basically married.
- 6:06Speaker 3: They are.
- 6:07Speaker 1: In the eyes of the court. I mean, I'm hoping
- 6:09Speaker 1: this is a small blip and we might see them
- 6:11Speaker 1: re-follow each other and work through their relationship. Maybe we
- 6:14Speaker 1: might see some more marriage counselling ads. Okay, I was elated.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Page Six just announced that Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz
- 6:22Speaker 1: are engaged, so.
- 6:23Speaker 2: My morning's taking a turn now.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Fuck. Fans around the world are reeling that Harry Styles
- 6:30Speaker 1: may officially be off the market. The pop star and
- 6:33Speaker 1: his actor girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz, appear to have soft launched
- 6:36Speaker 1: their engagement after.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Just eight months together.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So where were you when you first saw this news?
- 6:41Speaker 1: I was scrolling on my phone and this popped up,
- 6:44Speaker 1: these pap photos. And I thought, surely not. They haven't
- 6:46Speaker 1: been together for very long. This is surely some bullshit
- 6:50Speaker 1: tabloid story. But there does seem to be a lot
- 6:52Speaker 1: of truth to this. I want to point out though
- 6:54Speaker 1: that listeners will know I am a 1D stan, but
- 6:57Speaker 1: fortunately for my mental health, I'm actually more of a
- 6:59Speaker 1: fan of Louis Tomlinson than I am of Harry Styles,
- 7:02Speaker 1: which is controversial. And also you are married. So this
- 7:04Speaker 1: news shouldn't rock you that much. I don't think we
- 7:07Speaker 1: should shame people who have been rocked by this if
- 7:09Speaker 1: they're in a relationship or married because it's different. Like
- 7:13Speaker 1: it is hard when you see your celebrity crush move on.
- 7:16Speaker 1: And I mean, recently Dean Geyer announced that he and
- 7:19Speaker 1: his wife were having a baby and I was like,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Why do I feel weird about it?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Like I'm thrilled for them.
- 7:24Speaker 1: My ex-boyfriend is having a baby. That's the key thing
- 7:28Speaker 1: is that I think when it hits really hard is
- 7:31Speaker 1: when this has been a crush of yours since you
- 7:33Speaker 1: were a teenager. So a lot of people are saying
- 7:35Speaker 1: that this news has made them feel 16 again. And
- 7:37Speaker 1: I don't think a lot of people ship this relationship. No,
- 7:41Speaker 1: they don't. Now let's talk about the photos that have
- 7:44Speaker 1: sparked these rumors. So the couple were papped when they
- 7:47Speaker 1: were out on a stroll around London and they were
- 7:49Speaker 1: very casually dressed at the time. They both had baseball
- 7:52Speaker 1: caps on. It looked like they didn't want to stand
- 7:54Speaker 1: out or be noticed. But what people did notice was
- 7:58Speaker 1: the massive fuck off ring on Zoe's left hand. It's
- 8:01Speaker 1: a massive diamond, isn't it? Like you could not not
- 8:04Speaker 1: notice it in the photograph. Now, The Sun was the
- 8:06Speaker 1: first to publish these photos and break the news. They
- 8:09Speaker 1: ran with the headline, Harry Styles and Zoe Kravis kiss
- 8:12Speaker 1: in London as she spotted wearing huge diamond ring on
- 8:16Speaker 1: left hand. Now, these rumors gained even more momentum when
- 8:20Speaker 1: the couple were packed two days later outside a London hotel.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So in the photos, Harry was leading Zoe to a
- 8:26Speaker 1: waiting car before he leaned in and gave her a
- 8:29Speaker 1: kiss goodbye. And she was again wearing the same ring. Now,
- 8:33Speaker 1: page six seemingly confirmed the news on Friday saying, According
- 8:37Speaker 1: to the publication, several sources claim that Harry and Zoe
- 8:41Speaker 1: are on cloud nine. Another said, Harry is completely smitten
- 8:44Speaker 1: and would jump off a cliff for her.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Very strange quote to include.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I think the weirdest thing about this relationship for a
- 8:51Speaker 1: lot of One Direction fans has been that Harry previously
- 8:54Speaker 1: has been quite private. And so there's always been this
- 8:58Speaker 1: thought that Is this a fake relationship?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Or PR relationship?
- 9:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Now, as soon as the news broke that Harry Styles
- 9:05Speaker 1: could potentially be off the market, fans were not doing well.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I saw one tweet sum it up perfectly. It read,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I know I never had a chance with Harry Styles,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but this really cements it now. Another said, Harry Styles
- 9:18Speaker 1: got engaged and it's not me again. Someone else wrote,
- 9:21Speaker 1: for my mental health, this is AI. I just think
- 9:25Speaker 1: that it seems like a lot of Harry Styles fans
- 9:27Speaker 1: are in the very first stage of grief, which is,
- 9:30Speaker 1: of course, denial because fans quickly started to speculate that
- 9:34Speaker 1: the ring was simply an item from a collaboration that
- 9:37Speaker 1: Zoe did with a jewellery brand called Jessica McCormack. What,
- 9:41Speaker 1: that she just so happens to wear in her wedding ring? Well,
- 9:44Speaker 1: one fan on TikTok wrote, It's for a jewelry brand
- 9:46Speaker 1: she's an ambassador for. They dropped a new collection. People
- 9:49Speaker 1: are saying she wears rings like that all the time.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So I don't even know.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Don't you love it?
- 9:53Speaker 1: It reminds me of like when you were 16 and
- 9:55Speaker 1: you'd be so delusional about all like your celebrity crushes. Oh, no,
- 9:59Speaker 1: they're not going. out together they're looking for every reason
- 10:02Speaker 1: for it not to be true you can see why
- 10:04Speaker 1: so many teen heartthrobs had to actually hide the fact
- 10:06Speaker 1: that they had a partner it's like when all the
- 10:08Speaker 1: AFL players would take their mum to the brown though
- 10:10Speaker 1: you're like oh my god they're such a nice guy No,
- 10:12Speaker 1: they were tuning about 10 girls. That's why they brought
- 10:14Speaker 1: them up. There was nothing more heartbreaking as a teenager
- 10:17Speaker 1: watching the Brownlow and seeing the glamazon that your favorite
- 10:20Speaker 1: player was with. You're like, fuck, why couldn't that be me?
- 10:23Speaker 1: And the guy would always look like 21 his age
- 10:25Speaker 1: and the girl would look like in her 30s. She
- 10:27Speaker 1: would just look like a real woman. Getting back to
- 10:30Speaker 1: these theories about the ring, I do want to point
- 10:33Speaker 1: out that Zoe does actually often wear large diamond rings,
- 10:36Speaker 1: but Fans have pointed out that they have mostly been
- 10:39Speaker 1: on her left pinky finger and fans have even found
- 10:42Speaker 1: the campaign that she did at Christmas time for this brand.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Of course they have.
- 10:46Speaker 1: She was actually wearing a large diamond on her ring finger,
- 10:50Speaker 1: but it was on her right hand, which I want
- 10:52Speaker 1: to point out. Well, of course she was because it
- 10:53Speaker 1: was an advert. Well, experts have even weighed in. As
- 10:56Speaker 1: you can imagine, a lot of publications are speaking to
- 10:59Speaker 1: jewellery designers and they have analysed this photo of the
- 11:02Speaker 1: ring within an inch of its life. And they've come
- 11:04Speaker 1: to the conclusion that this is a new piece of jewelry.
- 11:06Speaker 1: This is not from the collection. So the ring that
- 11:09Speaker 1: Zoe was pictured in, it's a more minimalist design. It's sleeker.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It features a different setting than the typical vintage style
- 11:16Speaker 1: from Jessica McCormack's line. Experts have also predicted that this
- 11:20Speaker 1: diamond is more than 10 carats and valued at over
- 11:23Speaker 1: 500,000 Aussie dollars. Why did I think it'd be more?
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm no jewellery expert, but I could have told you
- 11:29Speaker 1: that this was an engagement ring. Why are they bothering
- 11:31Speaker 1: to interview these people? The whole thing is, though, if
- 11:33Speaker 1: you are in the public eye, you're dating the world's
- 11:36Speaker 1: biggest pop star, you're not just playing around with putting
- 11:39Speaker 1: a ring on your wedding finger.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Particularly if you're out on a casual stroll.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Some fans have moved on from the denial stage to
- 11:46Speaker 1: the acceptance phase, but the general consensus is a feeling
- 11:50Speaker 1: of disappointment. So instead of celebrating the news, many fans
- 11:54Speaker 1: have criticized Zoe's history of high-profile engagements and questioned the
- 11:58Speaker 1: couple's relationship timeline. Yeah, I want to briefly run you
- 12:01Speaker 1: through this timeline because it is quite interesting. So they
- 12:04Speaker 1: were first spotted together in Rome in August last year.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Since then, they've been seen together several times in London
- 12:11Speaker 1: and New York. It's not exactly clear when they first
- 12:14Speaker 1: started dating, but they've publicly been seen together for the
- 12:17Speaker 1: past eight months, which some fans are saying is is
- 12:21Speaker 1: not long enough. They're not happy that this engagement seems
- 12:23Speaker 1: to be such a whirlwind and so quick.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I'm sorry to break it to you, Harry Styles fans.
- 12:29Speaker 1: But once you get into your 30s, when you know,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know. And that appears to what's happened here.
- 12:35Speaker 2: But they are in their 30s. You know what I love?
- 12:38Speaker 1: No, but I'm saying the fans are. But the fans
- 12:41Speaker 1: are in their 30s.
- 12:41Speaker 3: True.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's like all the people that watch Justin Bieber's Coachella performance.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I saw so many TikToks and they're like, when you
- 12:48Speaker 1: see the man that you think thought you were gonna
- 12:50Speaker 1: marry or that you were supposed to marry i saw
- 12:53Speaker 1: this tiktok of this woman it was like my friend
- 12:55Speaker 1: who has two children and is six weeks postpartum and
- 12:59Speaker 1: it was like that should be me and she was
- 13:01Speaker 1: like crying so much i think the reality is so
- 13:04Speaker 1: that there is a lot of misogyny around this announcement
- 13:07Speaker 1: or this rumor and the worst part is it's coming
- 13:10Speaker 1: from females yeah i mean i think firstly People don't
- 13:13Speaker 1: like the fact that she's older than Harry. So she's 37,
- 13:15Speaker 1: he's 32, which I want to point out. That's the
- 13:17Speaker 1: age gap between my husband and I. Those are our
- 13:18Speaker 1: exact ages.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Big deal.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I know.
- 13:20Speaker 1: 37 is young. People also don't like the fact that
- 13:24Speaker 1: she's been engaged two times prior. So she was engaged
- 13:27Speaker 1: to actor Carl Glossman. Their pair ended up marrying in 2019.
- 13:31Speaker 1: They divorced in 2021. Most recently, she was engaged to
- 13:34Speaker 1: Channing Tatum. So he popped the question in 2023, but
- 13:38Speaker 1: they split in 2024. The only thing that surprises me
- 13:42Speaker 1: is just how different these men all look. Like she
- 13:44Speaker 1: doesn't have a type at all.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Is it just hot?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Is it a type?
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Imagine going from Channing Tatum to Harry Styles. Like, I mean,
- 13:50Speaker 1: how lucky can some people get? Here's a taste of
- 13:53Speaker 1: some of the comments people have been writing about Khloe
- 13:55Speaker 1: under some of these articles. Someone wrote, she's collecting engagement
- 13:58Speaker 1: rings like infinity stones. I think that's a comment that
- 14:01Speaker 1: Tammy Hambrow got a lot of. Another said, wasn't she
- 14:03Speaker 1: just engaged to Channing Tatum not that long ago? While
- 14:07Speaker 1: another said, this gives me daddy issue vibes. I want
- 14:10Speaker 1: to point out for those who don't know, Zoe's dad is,
- 14:12Speaker 1: of course, legendary singer Lenny Kravitz. And if those engagement
- 14:16Speaker 1: rumors are true, isn't it wild to think that Lenny
- 14:18Speaker 1: Kravitz is going to be Harry Styles' father-in-law? If they
- 14:21Speaker 1: end up having children, can you imagine how musically talented
- 14:23Speaker 1: they will be? I have to say, when you were
- 14:25Speaker 1: reading some of those tweets out, particularly the one about,
- 14:27Speaker 1: wasn't she just engaged to Channing Tatum? There was a
- 14:30Speaker 1: part of me as someone who was a Harry Styles
- 14:33Speaker 1: fan that was like, it is a bit greedy. I mean,
- 14:37Speaker 1: it is greedy, greedy, greedy. And also 37, we're 37.
- 14:42Speaker 1: That could be me. Well, one TikTok user joked that
- 14:47Speaker 1: Zoe's game needs to be studied. Let's have a listen
- 14:49Speaker 1: to what she said.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Zoe Kravitz, because I need to understand her game. I
- 14:57Speaker 5: need to interrogate her. I need to sit across a
- 15:02Speaker 5: table from her. Because at the very least, maybe osmosis. Like,
- 15:09Speaker 5: she needs to be studied. He is completely smitten. He
- 15:13Speaker 5: would jump off a cliff for her. I just need
- 15:16Speaker 5: to know what she's doing right and I'm doing wrong.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Do we really need to analyze it? She's famous and hot.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I mean, she was Catwoman in Batman.
- 15:24Speaker 2: She's got riz as well, clearly.
- 15:25Speaker 1: There's something about her. Also, Harry Styles loves to date
- 15:28Speaker 1: an older woman. So again, again, Kate, it could have
- 15:30Speaker 1: been us, as you said. I wonder if this will
- 15:32Speaker 1: affect his career. I know that might sound really silly,
- 15:35Speaker 1: but he's no longer deemed as being attainable. A lot
- 15:39Speaker 1: of his shows, there's a lot of sex appeal going on. And- Interestingly,
- 15:43Speaker 1: it coincides with a few people getting the ick from
- 15:45Speaker 1: Harry Styles. On my TikTok algorithm, all I've seen when
- 15:48Speaker 1: he did the SNL appearance, a lot of people were saying, oh,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I've realized that Harry Styles has passed his prime. And
- 15:56Speaker 1: this was accompanied by a lot of compilation videos of
- 15:58Speaker 1: when He was in his early 20s with his long hair.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Do you know what's funny?
- 16:02Speaker 1: A lot of the videos were when he was like 19.
- 16:03Speaker 1: People were like.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Hang on, he's a teenager in these.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I want to point out that I don't think he's
- 16:08Speaker 1: icky at all. Like he is still hot. To be honest.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I found him more icky with the long hair. Oh,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I loved him with the long hair. That really long hair. No,
- 16:16Speaker 1: like the middle of the range. To be honest, I
- 16:19Speaker 1: wasn't as cut by this news because I did get
- 16:22Speaker 1: the ick during the SNL performance. And I'm not saying
- 16:24Speaker 1: that Harry Styles isn't an attractive man.
- 16:26Speaker 2: He clearly is.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But I didn't like his accent. It's no longer British.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It's morphed into this weird combination of, like, American. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: actually thought he was putting on a voice during it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I didn't find the jokes that funny. His delivery wasn't
- 16:39Speaker 1: that great. And, like, so, I mean, I'm not saying
- 16:41Speaker 1: he's past his prime, but I don't– I think this
- 16:43Speaker 1: will affect his popularity. It's crazy because all he did
- 16:47Speaker 1: was actually speak the most he's ever spoken in a
- 16:50Speaker 1: TV thing and everyone's like.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Oh, he's not that hot. Like, poor thing.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Look, there are other fans who think that this whole
- 16:59Speaker 1: engagement story is a PR move. A TikToker called Leels
- 17:02Speaker 1: who has 104,000 followers on TikTok and shares pop culture
- 17:06Speaker 1: news said this. Have you guys noticed that anytime one
- 17:10Speaker 1: of the One Direction boys is in the news, a
- 17:13Speaker 1: couple of days or a week later, Harry Styles is
- 17:16Speaker 1: also in the news? She has a point because this
- 17:19Speaker 1: past week, it's been all over the news that Zayn
- 17:21Speaker 1: and Louis have been embroiled in this fight, which then
- 17:24Speaker 1: Their whole Netflix doco got canned over. We spoke about
- 17:27Speaker 1: this on the subs. They're probably so grateful that this
- 17:29Speaker 1: Harry Styles news is broken, aren't they?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So, like, that news broke. Then a couple of days later,
- 17:34Speaker 1: Harry's just randomly grabbing coffee with Zoe, who's wearing an
- 17:37Speaker 1: enormous rock.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I mean, what?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Are they saying that Zoe's taken one for the team?
- 17:40Speaker 1: She's gone, I'm going to put on my fake fucking ring. Well,
- 17:43Speaker 1: what they're saying is it means that the attention is
- 17:45Speaker 1: no longer on Zayn and Louis. It's back to Harry.
- 17:47Speaker 1: It's back to the most popular member of 1D. Yeah,
- 17:49Speaker 1: but that would make sense if they were still in
- 17:51Speaker 1: a band together and their PR was being managed. Like,
- 17:53Speaker 1: Are you saying that Harry Styles is like, oh, I
- 17:55Speaker 1: must be the center of attention out.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Of the 1D boys?
- 17:57Speaker 2: I'm not saying that.
- 17:58Speaker 1: This is just a theory because the TikTok user also
- 18:01Speaker 1: used the example that when Louis was releasing his album
- 18:03Speaker 1: in January, without any warning, Harry dropped a new single
- 18:07Speaker 1: on the same day. Poor Louis. Back in 2023 when
- 18:10Speaker 1: Niall was out promoting his albums. The same week, Harry
- 18:13Speaker 1: was spotted on a date with Taylor Russell. Has anyone
- 18:16Speaker 1: else's hole for you, Paige, just been Niall? Like, I
- 18:18Speaker 1: don't even particularly like him. I've seen him pop up.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I've not seen one thing.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Because his song is about Liam Payne.
- 18:24Speaker 2: He's been popping up.
- 18:25Speaker 1: All over on, like, Different podcasts talking about how he
- 18:28Speaker 1: hates avocado. That's hilarious because I have not seen one.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm sure my phone is listening to me as we
- 18:33Speaker 1: record this and I'm getting inundated. Amy's watched one clip
- 18:35Speaker 1: just far too long. I got sucked into watching one
- 18:37Speaker 1: and now it's all like him drinking Guinness on Ladbible
- 18:40Speaker 1: and him talking about his girlfriend. Niall never really stood
- 18:43Speaker 1: out to me in One Direction, but as the boys
- 18:45Speaker 1: have gotten older, I actually think he's almost fared the
- 18:48Speaker 1: best in the looks department.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Really? Yeah.
- 18:50Speaker 1: How much have we spoken about males' appearances in this episode?
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm more of a Zayn Malik girl, to be honest. Zayn? Really?
- 18:56Speaker 2: A bit of a bad boy.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you do like a bad boy from time to time.
- 19:01Speaker 4: I'll be honest, I went through a really dark path.
- 19:03Speaker 4: I turned into someone I could no longer recognize. And
- 19:06Speaker 4: I did. I became quite an angry person, which upon reflection,
- 19:10Speaker 4: I definitely think I was trying to protect myself.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Sam Guggenheimer has admitted that social media turned her into
- 19:18Speaker 1: a mean person that she no longer recognized. The 23-year-old
- 19:22Speaker 1: made the confession in her podcast return a month after
- 19:25Speaker 1: she was accused of amplifying her friend Bill Barker's fatphobic comments. Now, Kate,
- 19:31Speaker 1: this was a rather interesting listen. Yeah, there was a
- 19:33Speaker 1: lot of self-reflection going on and let's call it for
- 19:36Speaker 1: what it was. It was damage control in its finest form.
- 19:40Speaker 1: And it well and truly was needed after Sam and
- 19:42Speaker 1: Bill doubled down after they were originally called out about
- 19:46Speaker 1: that fatphobic comment. Now, at the time, the pair said
- 19:49Speaker 1: that it wasn't their fault that their audience couldn't take
- 19:51Speaker 1: a joke. Not popular. No, and after receiving a lot
- 19:55Speaker 1: of backlash, Sam later apologized, but the damage was well
- 19:59Speaker 1: and truly done. I have to say, though, her recent
- 20:02Speaker 1: attempt to take accountability for her actions on her podcast
- 20:05Speaker 1: was much more successful than She even conceded that she
- 20:08Speaker 1: had turned into a mean and rude person that she
- 20:12Speaker 1: no longer recognized.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Let's take a listen.
- 20:16Speaker 4: I hated myself so much and I thought everyone hated
- 20:20Speaker 4: me and I just couldn't bear the thought of showing
- 20:26Speaker 4: up as my real self and that's really not how
- 20:31Speaker 4: I want to be.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I think we sometimes forget how young some of these
- 20:36Speaker 1: influences are. As you touched on Kate, she's only 23
- 20:38Speaker 1: years old and she's had to endure probably daily trolling.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And I think that when you're that age, you become
- 20:46Speaker 1: very defensive over it and you just want to hit
- 20:49Speaker 1: back at people. Well, she's basically saying, look, I turned
- 20:51Speaker 1: into this caricature that you.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Made up of me.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Pretty big of her to admit it too. Like to
- 20:57Speaker 1: say on a podcast as a 23 year old, I
- 20:59Speaker 1: was actually mean. There's a lot of self-reflection and She
- 21:03Speaker 1: did say that she has returned to therapy and she's
- 21:05Speaker 1: been working on her mental health. She also spoke in
- 21:08Speaker 1: depth about her battle with ADHD and also anxiety. Again,
- 21:12Speaker 1: which was incredibly brave of her. Now, she really didn't
- 21:16Speaker 1: hold back in this episode. She also revealed that there
- 21:19Speaker 1: was a lot more she could say but wasn't allowed to.
- 21:22Speaker 1: So according to Sam, she has been silenced due to
- 21:25Speaker 1: ongoing legal and representation issues dating back to the middle
- 21:29Speaker 1: of last year. She said she'd love to be honest
- 21:31Speaker 1: and tell her audience the full law, but is unable
- 21:35Speaker 1: to as contract negotiations are still going on behind the scenes.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Let's take a listen to more of what she said.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Behind the camera, I really haven't been okay since around
- 21:44Speaker 4: mid last year. I've been carrying a lot, which is
- 21:48Speaker 4: legal battles, people telling me and pressuring me what to
- 21:51Speaker 4: do and a constant stream of rumour and speculations about
- 21:55Speaker 4: what's happened between me and my ex-co-host.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Well, reading between the lines, it seems like she's referring
- 22:02Speaker 1: to issues surrounding her now defunct podcast, which she, of course,
- 22:06Speaker 1: hosted with fellow influencer and former friend Izzy Armitage. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I mean, these two were inseparable for years, so much
- 22:12Speaker 1: so that they were seen as a duo rather than
- 22:15Speaker 1: separate entities online. And Sam actually said in an interview
- 22:19Speaker 1: late last year that it was a big part of
- 22:21Speaker 1: the problem between her and Izzy. Yeah, these women were
- 22:24Speaker 1: so intertwined that they actually shared a manager, Prue Corrigan,
- 22:27Speaker 1: who is the owner of talent agency and podcast network
- 22:30Speaker 1: One Daydream, who you mentioned before, they also manage Matt Sikowsky.
- 22:34Speaker 1: And this is where things get messy. So One Daydream
- 22:38Speaker 1: produced Sam and Izzy's podcast Just For Girls. However, in
- 22:42Speaker 1: June 2025, they announced that the women would be launching
- 22:45Speaker 1: their own solo podcast. Despite it being glaringly obvious that
- 22:49Speaker 1: Sam and Izzy had fallen out, it was sold as
- 22:51Speaker 1: if this was like this expansion of the Just For
- 22:54Speaker 1: Girls brand.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Clever.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:56Speaker 1: They even claimed at the time that the Just For
- 22:58Speaker 1: Girls podcast would release monthly episodes. However, that only happened once. Now,
- 23:02Speaker 1: around that time, Izzy Armitage sought out a new agent
- 23:05Speaker 1: for a fresh start away from Sam. She is now
- 23:08Speaker 1: managed by Flair. Interestingly, though, Sam is no longer listed
- 23:12Speaker 1: as talent on One Day Dream's website. And in an
- 23:15Speaker 1: Instagram bio, her management email is simply management at samgoogs.com. Now,
- 23:20Speaker 1: the One Daydream website still features the Just For Girls
- 23:23Speaker 1: podcast and also Izzy Armitage's solo podcast, Hear Me Out,
- 23:27Speaker 1: on its podcast page. But Sam's solo podcast, Hotter Than Yesterday,
- 23:31Speaker 1: isn't featured at all. Interestingly, though, the One Daydream logo
- 23:35Speaker 1: still appears on her artwork. So that, to me, indicates
- 23:38Speaker 1: that Sam still has contractual obligations with One Daydream, but
- 23:42Speaker 1: potentially that's who she's referring to regarding this messy legal situation.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I mean, would she be airing that online? Said podcast then?
- 23:51Speaker 1: With the network. Well, I mean, I'm guessing that they
- 23:54Speaker 1: can't tell her what she can speak about, but they
- 23:56Speaker 1: obviously have some sort of revenue share agreement. It also
- 23:59Speaker 1: seems like there's another friendship breakdown brewing for Sammy Guggenheimer.
- 24:03Speaker 1: This time it's with Bill Barker. So the pair have
- 24:06Speaker 1: unfollowed each other on Instagram. Presumably it's over the fat
- 24:10Speaker 1: phobic drama that's gone on. Well, last week he told
- 24:13Speaker 1: his TikTok followers that the past four months have been
- 24:15Speaker 1: hell and he's never been so stressed in his life.
- 24:18Speaker 1: He then said this. And this is like a whole
- 24:22Speaker 1: range of things from having shitty friends to having trades
- 24:25Speaker 1: steal money from me and trying to get that back
- 24:28Speaker 1: and managers not being.
- 24:29Speaker 3: The right fit, a whole bunch of things.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I mean, I could see this happening a mile away
- 24:33Speaker 1: when all the drama broke down, particularly because Sam was
- 24:36Speaker 1: the one that shared Bill's comments on her TikTok.
- 24:39Speaker 2: She went away. She edited the video.
- 24:41Speaker 1: In the video, she joked that she was going to
- 24:42Speaker 1: drop him in and she certainly did. I wouldn't be
- 24:44Speaker 1: happy if I was Bill. The drama doesn't stop there
- 24:48Speaker 1: for Sam. So after a podcast episode dropped, she was
- 24:51Speaker 1: also embroiled in another scandal. So a screenshot of Sam's
- 24:55Speaker 1: inbox taken from a TikTok video she shared in December
- 24:58Speaker 1: went viral. After an eagle-eyed follower noticed an email receipt
- 25:02Speaker 1: from a company called Prime Peptides, Sam was immediately accused
- 25:06Speaker 1: of using appetite suppressant peptides, an allegation she has since denied.
- 25:10Speaker 1: We are going to get into that drama on Thursday's
- 25:13Speaker 1: episode of Outspoken Plus.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Take it from me, trust me, it shall pass and
- 25:19Speaker 3: it does get a whole lot better.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Matt Sikowsky has responded to his ex-wife Tammy Hembrough's cheating accusations.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Last week, the mega influencer inferred that her husband of
- 25:30Speaker 1: three months had cheated on her in a swiftly deleted
- 25:33Speaker 1: TikTok comment. I feel like this latest update from Matt
- 25:36Speaker 1: Sikowsky is very on brand. So he has been very
- 25:40Speaker 1: clever with his PR strategy surrounding the breakup. His focus
- 25:44Speaker 1: has really been on sharing with his audience how his
- 25:47Speaker 1: mental health was impacted during and after this marriage. And
- 25:51Speaker 1: while the video touched on similar themes we've heard him
- 25:54Speaker 1: speak about, it is also all but confirmed speculation that
- 25:58Speaker 1: Tammy's ex-fiancé Matt Paul is team Matt II. Let's take
- 26:03Speaker 1: a listen.
- 26:05Speaker 3: A little over a year ago, I was in a
- 26:06Speaker 3: pretty bad state mentally. I was going through some things
- 26:10Speaker 3: and I reached out to someone who, on paper, I
- 26:14Speaker 3: shouldn't really be friends with, but I felt like I'd
- 26:16Speaker 3: built a connection with them that I could reach out
- 26:18Speaker 3: to them. And I asked them for a bit of
- 26:20Speaker 3: advice because I felt like they'd gone through something quite
- 26:22Speaker 3: similar to me. And the bit of advice that I remember,
- 26:25Speaker 3: they gave me hate. So the bit I remember was
- 26:28Speaker 3: they said, look, life might feel down right now. You
- 26:31Speaker 3: might feel like you're at the bottom of the barrel.
- 26:32Speaker 3: It's not going to get any better. but they said
- 26:34Speaker 3: in six months from now and 12 months from now
- 26:36Speaker 3: or possibly 18 months from now, you're going to look
- 26:39Speaker 3: back at this stage and you're going to think, wow,
- 26:42Speaker 3: it does get better and life is worth living.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I mean, him saying, I reached out to someone I
- 26:48Speaker 1: shouldn't really be friends with He's definitely talking about Matt there.
- 26:52Speaker 1: No one would think that you would feel comfortable to
- 26:55Speaker 1: reach out to your ex's ex and that you should
- 26:57Speaker 1: even be in communication. Like that's a pretty big clue
- 27:00Speaker 1: there that this is Matt Paul he's talking about. It's
- 27:03Speaker 1: so awkward though because Tammy and Matt the first from
- 27:07Speaker 1: all accounts seem to have quite a good co-parenting relationship.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So I feel awkward for Matt Paul that he keeps
- 27:14Speaker 1: getting dragged into this because he's obviously being a nice
- 27:16Speaker 1: guy looking out for Matt Sikowsky. I don't think he's
- 27:19Speaker 1: been dragged into it though. I think he's put out
- 27:21Speaker 1: a few, you know, not pot shots, but a few like, yeah,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I mean, how you going comments here and there. I
- 27:26Speaker 1: actually think since this divorce, it's been clear that Matt
- 27:30Speaker 1: Poole isn't that happy with Tammy, particularly because the two
- 27:33Speaker 1: Matts have been trading public social media comments. I mean,
- 27:36Speaker 1: it was only just recently that the two Matts were
- 27:38Speaker 1: chatting about how cute Posey was on a video that
- 27:41Speaker 1: Matt Poole posted of her boogie boarding. So Matt Sikowsky
- 27:44Speaker 1: commented underneath, so cute, to which Matt Paul responded, crazy, hey,
- 27:48Speaker 1: full big girl now. The commentary received mixed reviews. One
- 27:52Speaker 1: person thought it was a bit weird, while others rushed
- 27:55Speaker 1: to Matt's defense saying he was Posey's stepfather. Now back
- 27:58Speaker 1: to these cheating allegations. Matt actually used this video on
- 28:02Speaker 1: mental health to refute these claims in the comment section.
- 28:06Speaker 1: So someone replied under the video writing, gosh, stop throwing
- 28:09Speaker 1: shade just because she moved on. And Matt ended up replying, hey,
- 28:13Speaker 1: with all due respect, this has nothing to do with
- 28:16Speaker 1: any individual than myself. I am trying to bring awareness
- 28:19Speaker 1: to people who feel down that it gets better, unlike
- 28:22Speaker 1: some people who are throwing shade with lies. I like
- 28:25Speaker 1: that he responded in the comments because that's how she
- 28:28Speaker 1: set forth this allegation. Yeah, I think that we have
- 28:30Speaker 1: really seen a change in the way that Matt Zukowski
- 28:33Speaker 1: uses social media, particularly after he's come off the show
- 28:36Speaker 1: I'm a Celeb. And I think that has a lot
- 28:38Speaker 1: to do with his talent agency being one daydream which
- 28:42Speaker 1: he's been using they are a top talent agency I
- 28:44Speaker 1: think that they are jumping on board and telling him
- 28:47Speaker 1: the types of content that he should be sharing focusing
- 28:49Speaker 1: particularly on his struggles with his mental health do you
- 28:51Speaker 1: think that the two mats are just waiting for Grayson
- 28:53Speaker 1: to come over and join them like their their little
- 28:56Speaker 1: club that they fought I mean I think the door
- 28:58Speaker 1: would be open in saying that I hope that Grayson
- 29:01Speaker 1: doesn't come out of the relationship like Matt Sikowsky has
- 29:04Speaker 1: feeling you know mentally impacted by it there was a
- 29:07Speaker 1: lot of chatter a couple of weeks ago about Tammy
- 29:10Speaker 1: jumping on the happy hour podcast and sort of giving
- 29:13Speaker 1: a bit of a tell all on what actually went
- 29:15Speaker 1: down behind the scenes. I am putting it out there.
- 29:18Speaker 1: If the two mats would like to appear. on Outspoken
- 29:22Speaker 1: and give their side of events, we'd love to have
- 29:24Speaker 1: them on.
- 29:24Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Might have to get it legal first. I mean, we
- 29:27Speaker 1: might have to have a fuck ton of money put
- 29:28Speaker 1: behind that episode for legal fees. I feel like you
- 29:31Speaker 1: guys would feel so uncomfortable. I would feel uncomfortable. Especially you, Kate,
- 29:34Speaker 1: the amount you have been talking about Tammy and Matt.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Oh, I've got my PhD on their relationship.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I was. the one behind the deep dive. So, I mean, yes,
- 29:41Speaker 1: it would be quite uncomfortable. Just to wrap this segment up,
- 29:45Speaker 1: we need to talk about Tammy Hembrough and her new boyfriend,
- 29:48Speaker 1: Grayson T. Moana, on the red carpet of the Lion
- 29:51Speaker 1: King musical premiere in Sydney. Let me guess, they were
- 29:53Speaker 1: all over each other. No, hold on. She literally looked
- 29:56Speaker 1: like Pamela Anderson from the 90s. Like, A few people
- 29:59Speaker 1: in the comment section were saying, hold on a second,
- 30:00Speaker 1: I had to do a double take. I thought this
- 30:02Speaker 1: was a throwback photo to the 90s. It looked like one,
- 30:05Speaker 1: didn't it? Why were they so dressed up for The
- 30:07Speaker 1: Lion King? That's what I want to know. I get it.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I thought it was a movie premiere, but it was
- 30:10Speaker 1: like it was taken so seriously.
- 30:11Speaker 2: It's a photo op, Sophie.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I mean. Wait, you know it's a musical. It's not
- 30:15Speaker 1: the movie The Lion King. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know
- 30:16Speaker 1: it's a musical. I'm just saying like they were dressed
- 30:18Speaker 1: to the absolute nines for this premiere.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It was a red carpet event.
- 30:22Speaker 3: I mean.
- 30:22Speaker 1: And Amy, to your question, yes, they were literally making
- 30:25Speaker 1: out in front of the paparazzi as we've come to expect.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Can I point out, Sophie, this isn't the Marion Megaplex
- 30:30Speaker 1: that has the red carpet and some of the people
- 30:33Speaker 1: from the media come down in their trackie dacks.
