- 0:32Speaker 1: keep us on the air. It's like PBS. Do you
- 0:35Speaker 1: guys know what PBS is? Yeah?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Yeah, then why were you confused?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Because I've never heard that. That's what they do. Like
- 0:41Speaker 1: once a year they do a huge pledge drive. Because
- 0:43Speaker 1: PBS is a non commercial entity, therefore they don't have commercials.
- 0:48Speaker 1: They have sponsors, and so you give, like I don't
- 0:52Speaker 1: know how much money they send you like a tote bag.
- 0:54Speaker 1: It's supported by viewers like you. Yeah, oh you know
- 0:57Speaker 1: what that sounds familiar? Yeah, well no it doesn't. No,
- 1:00Speaker 1: it doesn't stop trying to be cool. It doesn't anyway,
- 1:03Speaker 1: Bobby Sports. If you go over to the Draftking Sports
- 1:05Speaker 1: Book coming up, Dane Brugler it's all draft all week.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And so Dane Brugler from the Athletic is on with us,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and I pay for the Athletic. And what's great about
- 1:15Speaker 1: the Athletic is it didn't tell me to say this,
- 1:16Speaker 1: but a so you get two emails every single day
- 1:19Speaker 1: kind of cater to what you like. And so I
- 1:22Speaker 1: got one about the draft and if il Draft twenty
- 1:24Speaker 1: twenty three confidential. But then I always get stuff on
- 1:26Speaker 1: the teams that I like too, if they're covered in
- 1:28Speaker 1: a story, it sends me that email too that I
- 1:30Speaker 1: can click and read it. So I always get the
- 1:32Speaker 1: Razorbacks basketball, football, baseball, I get the Cubs. I get
- 1:38Speaker 1: some golf involve certain players. This is not a commercial,
- 1:40Speaker 1: by the way, he's from he's from the Athletic. It's
- 1:42Speaker 1: pretty good little They got a lot of good guys there.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Pretty good, yeah, pretty good little service there. So we'll
- 1:47Speaker 1: do Dane and talk about all the draft. And he
- 1:52Speaker 1: has the most comprehensive draft guide there is. It's called
- 1:54Speaker 1: The Beast. It's four hundred and one scouting reports, three
- 1:56Speaker 1: hundred thousand words, and we're gonna say them all. We're
- 2:00Speaker 1: gonna say every word every that he puts in his
- 2:02Speaker 1: guide coming up, Glad everybody is here. I am as
- 2:06Speaker 1: sore as could freaking be today, and I live a
- 2:10Speaker 1: little bit sore, and I'm gonna start with this. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: live where I'm always kind of sore on my hamstrings
- 2:15Speaker 1: because I work out. And he's been on the show
- 2:17Speaker 1: before with Kevin Klug. He is my trainer. He's pretty
- 2:20Speaker 1: hardcore and he has a company. It's called Klug Fitness.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Probably has six vans the drive all around Nashville, and
- 2:27Speaker 1: he has trainers to go out and train people. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: I'm fortunate enough that Kevin trains me. And he only
- 2:32Speaker 1: goes to the house of a few people anymore because
- 2:35Speaker 1: he's running a business more than he's training folks. But
- 2:37Speaker 1: he comes over and he has his van. It's full
- 2:39Speaker 1: of stuff. He unloads it. It's a squat rack. It's
- 2:42Speaker 1: a dumbbell. It's the sled. Hate the freaking sled. I
- 2:45Speaker 1: hate the sled. He puts the two forty five's on
- 2:48Speaker 1: it and then he stands on it, so he has
- 2:50Speaker 1: all we're working. We're going hard, right. We go out
- 2:51Speaker 1: in my front yard and we just kill it unless
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's raining, and we go up to my gym and
- 2:55Speaker 1: then we kill it. But that being said, we're always
- 2:59Speaker 1: getting in the left and I'm always sore because it's
- 3:02Speaker 1: always something new with the legs. I'm not sore because
- 3:05Speaker 1: of him this time, and it's been a long time
- 3:07Speaker 1: that it's been me being sore, not because of him.
- 3:10Speaker 1: A couple things that I did. First of all, there's
- 3:13Speaker 1: a class called body rock. Now, how would I explain
- 3:16Speaker 1: this because I asked my wife what it was? I said,
- 3:18Speaker 1: is this pilates? She said no, she said, there are
- 3:21Speaker 1: some similarities, but it is not pilates. There was a method,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and I guess still is a method that she would
- 3:27Speaker 1: do when she was in California called the lagree I
- 3:29Speaker 1: believe is what you call it, and it's like super weighted.
- 3:33Speaker 1: She hates for me to call it plates. I said,
- 3:36Speaker 1: is it plates? She said, is running walking? I said no.
- 3:39Speaker 1: She goes, and this is not pilates. I said, okay,
- 3:42Speaker 1: I said, it's derivative, though running is derivative of walking.
- 3:45Speaker 1: She goes fair enough, so imagine plates, but much heavier,
- 3:49Speaker 1: much harder, much slower. I can't even imagine plates because
- 3:52Speaker 1: I didn't know what that was until I did this
- 3:54Speaker 1: body rock. You're on this machine. Through all these springs.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You're pushing and pulling and putting your leg out. Mike,
- 4:02Speaker 1: When I say plates, do you do?
- 4:03Speaker 4: You know what?
- 4:04Speaker 1: That is not really me either. I think of an
- 4:06Speaker 1: exercise class. Yeah, it's a big machine. It's like a
- 4:09Speaker 1: big machine. You get in and do all the stuff. Kevin,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you ever done plates? I have not? Do you see
- 4:12Speaker 1: the machine? I know what it is? Yeah, I know
- 4:14Speaker 1: what they look like, mega former. Oh that I've done? Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 1: when have you done that? Well? Your wife and I
- 4:20Speaker 1: would do it class in California. Okay, Wow, that's what
- 4:24Speaker 1: it is. So this is like that kind of class.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And that was pretty hard. Yeah, it was pretty hard. Yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it works out all kinds of musket God dang. So
- 4:31Speaker 1: I'm so sore because there's one thing where you put
- 4:32Speaker 1: your foot in a strap and you're holding the thing
- 4:35Speaker 1: and you put your leg out and like the sides
- 4:37Speaker 1: of my butt are still on fire. The side of
- 4:41Speaker 1: my abs are on fire. And these are muscles and
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'm sure I use but I don't just dial in
- 4:46Speaker 1: on them. And I'm just like that's about so I
- 4:49Speaker 1: feel like. And so then I take Ella out for
- 4:52Speaker 1: a run, the dog, and she loves to sprint immediately
- 4:56Speaker 1: and I'm prepared for that now, and she takes off
- 4:58Speaker 1: sprinting and my foot hit at the ditch quick and
- 5:00Speaker 1: I strained my calf. It's my right calf or it
- 5:02Speaker 1: was strained and just was hurting for like six months.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It still hurts. That's back. It's back. It's guess who's
- 5:07Speaker 1: back back again. My calf strained is back. It hurts.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So I'm telling my friends and so that hurts. And
- 5:13Speaker 1: then yesterday, OKAYL almost like you want to go to
- 5:16Speaker 1: this classic shocks you And I was like, what do
- 5:22Speaker 1: you mean a classic shocks? She goes, you put on
- 5:24Speaker 1: the suit and it shocks a piss out of you
- 5:26Speaker 1: and then apparently it activates the muscle groups. So it's
- 5:32Speaker 1: like I wish I knew what it was called. And
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was like, ah, I guess, and so you know
- 5:39Speaker 1: what we do? We go and show up and apparently
- 5:42Speaker 1: it's FDA approved because they said they told me I
- 5:46Speaker 1: don't look it up by just trying anything. Yeah, like
- 5:48Speaker 1: if I die being shocked to death. No, I didn't
- 5:50Speaker 1: sign that waiver exactly, but Mike, what do you see?
- 5:53Speaker 1: I just see like some kind of ems workout electronic
- 5:57Speaker 1: muscle stimulator.
- 5:57Speaker 3: That's what this is.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But there's a company in town, look type Green Hills
- 6:04Speaker 1: Workout Shocking, and I bet you come up with something there.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's called like UMRV or you MERV regardless. I go in,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I don't know what to expect. You do sign some
- 6:18Speaker 1: papers and they say put this on. I'm like, put
- 6:24Speaker 1: it on, like over my clothes or like no, go
- 6:25Speaker 1: into the dressing room and I don't like my wiener
- 6:29Speaker 1: and my what's touching clothes that I don't own for
- 6:32Speaker 1: the most part, And obviously these have been worn by
- 6:35Speaker 1: other people, washed, but worn by other people, and my wiener,
- 6:38Speaker 1: my what's I don't really again, I don't really like
- 6:40Speaker 1: them touching things. Other people's weener and was have touched
- 6:43Speaker 1: because all my underwear they've only been mine good, no
- 6:46Speaker 1: one else has worn that. It's good. And so I
- 6:49Speaker 1: go and I put on these clothes and they are tight.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It's like tights, long sleeve tights, pants down to the ankles.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Find it, man, do that's it?
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Ems fitness. Yes. So I put this thing on a
- 7:06Speaker 1: walk out and the guy goes, I'm gonna spray down
- 7:08Speaker 1: with water. Why why are you gonna spread it down
- 7:11Speaker 1: the water well because and I don't remember what he said,
- 7:13Speaker 1: but something about the shocks work better with water or
- 7:17Speaker 1: it doesn't burn you if you're wet something. I'm gonna
- 7:21Speaker 1: be awful little bit on this. But they have to
- 7:22Speaker 1: spray with water so it doesn't like burn you when
- 7:25Speaker 1: it shocks you. So I'm like okay. Caitlin is too,
- 7:28Speaker 1: She's like okay, and they go, we're gonna do they
- 7:30Speaker 1: get to know you. It's three minutes long, and there's
- 7:33Speaker 1: a big machine and so me, I'm already a little
- 7:35Speaker 1: uncomfortable nervous. I say, hello, machine, I'm Bob, I'm in
- 7:37Speaker 1: eeries doesn't get a laugh, try to get another machine.
- 7:40Speaker 1: They said, no, no, no, we need to put all the
- 7:42Speaker 1: equipment on you and see how much you can take
- 7:45Speaker 1: in each area. So they put this thing. It's like
- 7:49Speaker 1: when I did breaking Bobby bones. I would take and
- 7:51Speaker 1: I pull the like that you step in them the harness.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Har Yeah, that's what it is.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It's like a harness, but it's got all these little
- 8:01Speaker 1: shockers on it. And then I put on a shirt top,
- 8:05Speaker 1: vest arm thing. I look like I'm terminator too. All
- 8:08Speaker 1: these shockers are in it. I'm like, what has happened?
- 8:10Speaker 1: And they go, okay, let's do this first, let's to
- 8:12Speaker 1: your quads D and then he's like it's on one.
- 8:15Speaker 6: Bro.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I know, he just scared me.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It didn't scared me more than anything. And so he's like,
- 8:20Speaker 1: can you take this? Take the It goes up to
- 8:22Speaker 1: twenty five, So I got to like seventeen or eighteen.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I've got oh, hold on, hold right there, right right,
- 8:26Speaker 1: They're there. You go to the next one. All right,
- 8:27Speaker 1: this is gonna be your glues. Oh, the next one.
- 8:31Speaker 1: All the there's like eight body parts, nine body parts,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm not sure. And so I got a twenty five
- 8:36Speaker 1: on a few of them. I could take max. And
- 8:39Speaker 1: so Caitlin, who has her pain tolerance is the greatest
- 8:42Speaker 1: I've ever seen of any human being in the history
- 8:44Speaker 1: of human beings. She's twenty fives across the board. So
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm like, it turned me up too. Then never mind,
- 8:48Speaker 1: never mind, never mind.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So he has turn them back down because that's what
- 8:51Speaker 3: I mean.
- 8:52Speaker 1: She's five eight five nine, one hundred and twelve pounds and.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Just taken the shocks.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Is she looking at you like you can't take Oh?
- 9:01Speaker 1: She makes fun of melt. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And so
- 9:04Speaker 1: we get to know it. Three minutes we do our thing,
- 9:08Speaker 1: they shut it off. They go, okay, well, this next workout,
- 9:11Speaker 1: part of it is going to be maybe it's fifteen minutes,
- 9:13Speaker 1: maybe it's twelve minutes. So he gives us little balls
- 9:17Speaker 1: and it gives us weights, and he's like, so there'll
- 9:20Speaker 1: be like five seconds on, five seconds off. He could
- 9:22Speaker 1: be ten seconds on, ten seconds off. And so he's
- 9:25Speaker 1: gonna quads first. So I have the weights and he's like, okay,
- 9:27Speaker 1: go and while it's on, you have to squat. So
- 9:30Speaker 1: it's that why you're squatting. It's stimulating all the muscles
- 9:34Speaker 1: while you're working them. It's wild, man, it's wild. And
- 9:39Speaker 1: so I'm going I'm starting to like sweat out of
- 9:44Speaker 1: my forehead and I don't know because I'm getting piss
- 9:46Speaker 1: shocked out of me and it's literal pe coming out
- 9:47Speaker 1: of our forehead, or if I'm really like burning extra
- 9:50Speaker 1: amount of calories.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Look some of that up, Mike. What the research on that,
- 9:54Speaker 3: because I'm gonna come over to.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You for a second figure out what the benefit here is.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think it's just pain tolerance. Yeah, I think they
- 9:59Speaker 1: get some like in joining out of this, so it
- 10:02Speaker 1: doesn't really hurt, it just kind of scares you. So
- 10:05Speaker 1: you ever do a thing where something if it has
- 10:07Speaker 1: a shot on it and you grab it and you
- 10:08Speaker 1: grab your friend's hand and the shot gets passed all
- 10:10Speaker 1: the way through, it's kind of what it feels like,
- 10:12Speaker 1: or it's kind of if your legs asleep real bad.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It's like just but it's like that on you. So
- 10:19Speaker 1: what I learned was, though, you can't lock out because
- 10:22Speaker 1: it'll just hold you in that position. And so like,
- 10:24Speaker 1: don't lock out. Whatever you do with your knees, Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 1: here's you're coming on my arms because you can't bend
- 10:28Speaker 1: them or anything because it's just shocked. You can't. You can't, Yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 1: any sort of elbow. I didn't know that. And so
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm I'm I live locked out, awkward and locked out,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and I'm like I can't, I can't do it. I
- 10:40Speaker 1: have turned it down, so it turns it down. I'm like,
- 10:42Speaker 1: well I don't even feel it now. He's like, well,
- 10:45Speaker 1: don't lock out. I'm like, oh, got it, So now
- 10:47Speaker 1: now I know how to do It's the word like
- 10:48Speaker 1: nine minutes in the only like three minutes left this
- 10:49Speaker 1: whole thing. So I finished the last three minutes and
- 10:53Speaker 1: they do like my button, my back and biceps and
- 10:57Speaker 1: everything else, and you take it off, and I mean,
- 10:59Speaker 1: I was drenched, and I told Caitlin, I said, I'm
- 11:03Speaker 1: sweating all over my body. I don't feel exhausted, but
- 11:08Speaker 1: I just feel like I've been through it. She goes,
- 11:10Speaker 1: bro they spread water on you before they started. You're wet.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I was like, oh, that's right.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Sorry, I forgot I forgot about that.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So much that happened since then. Yes, And so then
- 11:20Speaker 1: I took all the equipment off. I changed out of
- 11:23Speaker 1: my clothes, my tights on top and on bottom, and
- 11:27Speaker 1: they did like a little test where you stand on
- 11:29Speaker 1: the scale and it tells you how tall you are,
- 11:32Speaker 1: how much body fat you have, you're all of these things,
- 11:36Speaker 1: and not so much to say good or bad, but
- 11:38Speaker 1: to just see if there's improvement in the areas you
- 11:39Speaker 1: want to prove it if you go back. And so
- 11:42Speaker 1: we got like some sort of protein cooking. We left,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and I was like, that's an interesting new novel experience
- 11:52Speaker 1: that I really wonder if it works. Not going back today,
- 11:55Speaker 1: because they say don't go back every day, may go
- 11:58Speaker 1: back tomorrow. Not sure. I need to do some more research,
- 12:01Speaker 1: which leads me to my point here. Always do research
- 12:04Speaker 1: before instead of after. How long were you there from
- 12:08Speaker 1: beginning and end? Well, we had the intro part right,
- 12:12Speaker 1: so we had to like talk to the guy and
- 12:14Speaker 1: he was the only one there. Nobody else was in there.
- 12:16Speaker 1: They only have two machines, so they have to schedule
- 12:18Speaker 1: it and probably forty five to fifty minutes okay total.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I think you could get in and out in thirty
- 12:23Speaker 1: if you needed to. But we did a bunch of
- 12:25Speaker 1: stuff where he was just kind of walking us through,
- 12:27Speaker 1: spraying us down, letting us know what was gonna do,
- 12:29Speaker 1: get to know you. Hey, I'm Bobby of an areas
- 12:31Speaker 1: like long. You know you don't have to do that normally,
- 12:34Speaker 1: but it was interesting. I fell a little store of
- 12:36Speaker 1: my biceps from it, but sore from the rocket pilates,
- 12:42Speaker 1: body rock whatever you call that, and my calf hurts
- 12:45Speaker 1: because well I'm getting older, and my dog ran me
- 12:47Speaker 1: into a ditch. So that's how I see you today, Mike.
- 12:50Speaker 1: What do you find about this? They say that the
- 12:52Speaker 1: main benefit is like building muscle, you can also reduce
- 12:55Speaker 1: some back pain, increase your metabolism.
- 12:59Speaker 3: So, and it's what you do when you work out, right,
- 13:02Speaker 3: who's they.
- 13:03Speaker 1: This company's website? Yeah, I hear you.
- 13:10Speaker 3: If that's all it takes to be ripped, I'll be
- 13:12Speaker 3: there every day.
- 13:12Speaker 1: And I guess because you can do it faster. They
- 13:14Speaker 1: have it as low as fifteen minutes. He could be there. Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 1: If I come in just jacked, it's because I'm getting
- 13:20Speaker 1: shocked every day I'm in it. I'm going I'll probably
- 13:23Speaker 1: go back. I'll probably go a few times, see what's up.
- 13:25Speaker 1: The first one was free. I don't even know how
- 13:26Speaker 1: much it costs. Does that have a price on there?
- 13:28Speaker 1: How much those shockings are? I'm sure that because I
- 13:32Speaker 1: think they we're going to want to sell us a
- 13:33Speaker 1: package when we left, and before they even got to that,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I said, hey, guys, yeah, this is great, but I'm
- 13:37Speaker 1: need to do it like three more times before I
- 13:39Speaker 1: feel like if I want to buy anything. So I
- 13:41Speaker 1: kind of cut them off there because obviously their goal
- 13:43Speaker 1: if you're in there, is not just sell you. One
- 13:44Speaker 1: is to sell you you know whatever, a month whatever.
- 13:47Speaker 1: So that's all right. I don't even care. Mike. If
- 13:49Speaker 1: you find it, you can let me know later. On
- 13:51Speaker 1: unless you have it now. No, I just said I
- 13:53Speaker 1: didn't give my cardit cards. The first one is free.
- 13:55Speaker 3: That's true. Oh, that's that I can attest to.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It was free. So that's where I am today. I'm
- 14:00Speaker 1: hurting everywhere, been shocked, been body rocked, been sprayed down
- 14:05Speaker 1: with water, and got run into a ditch. But god
- 14:07Speaker 1: dang it, I'm here and it's time now for the
- 14:09Speaker 1: tittle tattlepid his name ever?
- 14:14Speaker 3: The tittle Tattle.
- 14:19Speaker 7: After Curry's bonehead time out the other day, what is
- 14:22Speaker 7: your most memorable sports blunder?
- 14:25Speaker 3: By the way it was Chris Webber Part two?
- 14:29Speaker 1: I mean, Seph Curry is a super cerebral guy, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: when he called time out, I mean, I don't know,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I just expect him to. I guess I can look
- 14:37Speaker 1: on the bottom of the screen, as they had all
- 14:38Speaker 1: the dots there where they tells you how many timeouts
- 14:40Speaker 1: team has. Yeah, but it's crazy that he didn't know
- 14:42Speaker 1: how many time timeouts they had because it was him.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Had it been Draymond Green or Jordan Poole, I'd have
- 14:47Speaker 1: been like, Oh, although I think Jerman Green's actually a
- 14:50Speaker 1: really smart guy, he just doesn't play it. Agreed, But
- 14:53Speaker 1: he called it with forty seconds and they were up five.
- 14:58Speaker 1: The Kings almost came back to when they had a
- 15:00Speaker 1: shot to win it. It was off the front of
- 15:02Speaker 1: the rim, I believe, from like the left three point elbow.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I thought it was in. I mean it was on.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It was just a little short, biggest blunder, the one
- 15:14Speaker 1: that I know. I don't remember it live, but Boston
- 15:17Speaker 1: Red Sox Bill Bugner, Yeah, I know you're gonna say
- 15:20Speaker 1: that first baseman went between his legs, ruin his whole life.
- 15:25Speaker 1: That was a baud. When Chris Weber Michigan Final four,
- 15:28Speaker 1: maybe National Championship game, I kind of lose where that
- 15:32Speaker 1: was exactly, but I was watching that game me when
- 15:37Speaker 1: I was a captain my senior year. I went out
- 15:39Speaker 1: and I remember before I left left the locker room
- 15:43Speaker 1: the field house coach said, we're gonna stop him. Win
- 15:50Speaker 1: the toss. Play defense, let's go, let's stop him. I say,
- 15:54Speaker 1: no problem, let's go, like god, captain. Coins they win
- 15:59Speaker 1: the toss, They're like, uh, we're gonna receive. And they
- 16:02Speaker 1: said to me, all right, that's how it went. I
- 16:06Speaker 1: gotta remember how this goes again. Hold on, they said,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I don't even know the story anymore. All I know
- 16:13Speaker 1: is we kicked off twice at started the game. At halftime,
- 16:18Speaker 1: they said, oh, they deferred, as what it was, they deferred,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and I said, we're gonna play defense because that's the
- 16:24Speaker 1: last thing that I remember the coach saying, So we
- 16:26Speaker 1: want to stop them. So since they deferred, they deferred
- 16:28Speaker 1: to after halftime, and so they got the ball twice twice.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I said, we're gonna play defense dorout the game. So
- 16:35Speaker 1: we did, and then we also played defense at halftime
- 16:38Speaker 1: after halftime because they got to pick at halftime. It's
- 16:40Speaker 1: so stupid. My coach said to me, you're the smartest
- 16:42Speaker 1: guy on the team, but that's the dumbest every thing
- 16:44Speaker 1: I've ever seen. He yelled it out loud. I felt
- 16:48Speaker 1: like everybody heard it. You tell him, coach, just reverse psychology. Here,
- 16:51Speaker 1: come on, reverse psychology. We lost by six points. Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: we didn't lose many games that year. We lost by
- 16:57Speaker 1: six I was an idiot who did not know how
- 16:59Speaker 1: to do a toss. I didn't get to call the
- 17:01Speaker 1: coin tosses the rest of the year. I can understand
- 17:04Speaker 1: the state of captain, but.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Did not get to call the coin tosses the rest
- 17:06Speaker 3: of the year.
- 17:06Speaker 7: Yeah, stupid, All right. Next up, you got C. J.
- 17:09Speaker 7: Stroud and his testing the other day. He scored to
- 17:12Speaker 7: eighteen percent. Do you remember your worst grade that you've
- 17:14Speaker 7: ever gotten on a test.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I don't know that it was a test that I
- 17:18Speaker 1: got a bad grade. But the only B that I
- 17:20Speaker 1: got in high school was in a typing computer class.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's the only B I got. I got two of them,
- 17:28Speaker 1: but in the same class because I couldn't freaking type
- 17:30Speaker 1: fast enough or couldn't write fast enough asdf jk l
- 17:34Speaker 1: semi colon. That ain't right, is it as df jkl
- 17:39Speaker 1: semi colon g h jkl semi colon. Yeah.
- 17:42Speaker 3: See, that's why I gotta be you gotta be right there.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah. And then in college I got I got a
- 17:48Speaker 1: C in French, the only C I got.
- 17:50Speaker 3: That's tough, and I begged for it.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I went to my professor and was like, bro, I
- 17:55Speaker 1: ain't ever using this never. I only took it. It was
- 17:57Speaker 1: the only foreign language class I could get into. I
- 17:59Speaker 1: wanted Spanish, but I took French. I took him a
- 18:02Speaker 1: lot end up taking a lot of French. But I
- 18:05Speaker 1: was like, you gotta let me out of this. You
- 18:07Speaker 1: gotta just give me this. I was an honor student too,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and then we're gonna take away my honor scholarship if I
- 18:12Speaker 1: made a D or an F. So those I don't
- 18:14Speaker 1: remember getting a bad grade on anything, but I remember
- 18:17Speaker 1: struggling through French and struggling through the computer typing class.
- 18:22Speaker 1: But no, like F's I was always pretty good and
- 18:24Speaker 1: pretty prepared because I knew I had to have good
- 18:26Speaker 1: grades to get out of school. But I was. It
- 18:28Speaker 1: was shameful to watch me going to my French teacher
- 18:31Speaker 1: and beg for let's see p in hand. We we
- 18:33Speaker 1: I've tried, I've tried, I promise, I just I'm never
- 18:38Speaker 1: gonna use it. You gotta hold me out, You're gonna
- 18:40Speaker 1: ruin my And he didn't say yes. All I know
- 18:43Speaker 1: is I had to see. I don't know if I
- 18:45Speaker 1: deserved to see. Did you just do any extra work
- 18:47Speaker 1: or nough Nope, because he didn't want to act like
- 18:49Speaker 1: he could. I gotcha that he would allow me to
- 18:51Speaker 1: do that, or that he would allow the fact that
- 18:53Speaker 1: I would come in and ask for it and he
- 18:54Speaker 1: would grant it. So I don't think he wanted to
- 18:56Speaker 1: show that you could just go in say I need
- 18:58Speaker 1: some help and him give you help. So Nope, I didn't.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I just know I gotta see. I'm gonna tell you
- 19:03Speaker 1: right now. I don't think you're like, I'll see. Yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 7: Next up, we got the transfer portal being big news,
- 19:08Speaker 7: and I was wondering, as an Arkansas fan, if you
- 19:10Speaker 7: could transfer to another team, who would it be.
- 19:13Speaker 1: That's interesting because I don't like anybody else. But if
- 19:17Speaker 1: I had to pick, I wouldn't go to like a big, established,
- 19:21Speaker 1: winning program because you kind of have to be born
- 19:24Speaker 1: into it or you're a chump, or you end up
- 19:28Speaker 1: going to school there. Yeah, or you're a chump. So
- 19:32Speaker 1: I would go probably be a South Carolina fan. Okay,
- 19:36Speaker 1: they haven't won much, loved their coach. I think they're
- 19:39Speaker 1: on the up and up. I think that fan base
- 19:43Speaker 1: appreciates the small servings of winning they've had, and I
- 19:47Speaker 1: think they're ready for more. So i'd play some Beamer
- 19:51Speaker 1: junior ball and go over and be a South Carolina fan.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But I would not go to a program with a
- 19:56Speaker 1: lot of winning, just because I would feel like a cheater.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I did see that Colorado receiver.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I saw it on Instagram last night where he's like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I'm out, thank you. Why did he leave? Though? I
- 20:07Speaker 1: know he had a huge spring game six passes one
- 20:09Speaker 1: hundred and sixty eight yards, it was like a full
- 20:11Speaker 1: one hundred yard touchdown, ninety year touchdown. Yeah, we know
- 20:14Speaker 1: why he's leaving.
- 20:14Speaker 7: No, he just announced on his Instagram that Hey, I'm
- 20:17Speaker 7: leaving and entering the portal.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And usually that means though that something ain't going right,
- 20:20Speaker 1: like they're not getting playing time, right, but he's getting
- 20:23Speaker 1: playing time.
- 20:23Speaker 7: There must be like a relationship thing there and it
- 20:25Speaker 7: wasn't going well. And he put up a bunch of
- 20:27Speaker 7: numbers on ESPN and some coach called in and was like, hey,
- 20:30Speaker 7: we'll take.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You over here. Yeah, but I would think Dion's going
- 20:34Speaker 1: to make sure anybody he wants stays where he wants.
- 20:37Speaker 1: That spring game was sold out too, and it was snowing.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It was snowing in the spring in Colorado, and it
- 20:43Speaker 1: was packed. It was awesome. It was really good, all right.
- 20:45Speaker 1: That is the tittle Tattle. Stupid his name. The Tittle
- 20:50Speaker 1: Tattle A reminder of the twenty five whistless brought you

- 21:04Speaker 1: I'd pick this series heat up two to one. It's
- 21:07Speaker 1: just gonna matter if you're honest plays. But even then
- 21:10Speaker 1: I must stay away from that one. In Grizzlies, the
- 21:12Speaker 1: Lakers Lakers are at home, Lakers minus four and a half.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I think the Lakers win that and they probably cover.
- 21:19Speaker 1: That'd be the game. I would take the Lakers to cover. Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: Lakers minus four and a half. That would be me.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I may bet that one. But you also can hop in.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Get in on twenty five whistles. Go to DraftKings Sportsbook.

- 21:52Speaker 1: Next up, we have Dane Brugler from the Athletic Dane
- 21:55Speaker 1: is known for having the most comprehensive draft guy there is.
- 21:57Speaker 3: It's called the Beast.
- 21:58Speaker 1: It's four hundred and one scouting reports amost nineteen hundred
- 22:00Speaker 1: players evaluated over three hundred thousand words. You can find
- 22:03Speaker 1: his latest seven round month draft on the Athletic right now.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I mean, this guy wrote his first draft. Guy tot
- 22:09Speaker 1: eighteen years old. He was inspired to be an NFL
- 22:12Speaker 1: scout as a teenager. The great thing about this too,
- 22:15Speaker 1: if you want to go check it out, you can
- 22:17Speaker 1: use every fantasy football as well for rookies.
- 22:20Speaker 3: So here we go drafts this week. Here he is
- 22:23Speaker 3: Dane Brugler.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Dane, how are you, buddy good?
- 22:25Speaker 6: How are you?
- 22:26Speaker 2: Hey?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Pretty good? First of all, I like to say I
- 22:28Speaker 1: actually pay money for your work, So I'm in, Yep,
- 22:32Speaker 1: I'm in. Let's go. I'm a subscriber, so yeah, I
- 22:36Speaker 1: thought you'd maybe make you like me a little more.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You know, got a little money every month going on over. Hey,
- 22:41Speaker 1: let's talk about this because here we go, and there's
- 22:43Speaker 1: a couple of different ways to talk about it. And
- 22:45Speaker 1: I was looking at your first round and obviously we
- 22:48Speaker 1: know the quarterbacks are going to go. Let's start with
- 22:51Speaker 1: the Cardinals at three. Do you think they ended up
- 22:53Speaker 1: trading that pick before the draft because somebody wants that
- 22:57Speaker 1: third and fourth quarterback right.
- 22:58Speaker 8: There, A good chance they do, but not until we
- 23:02Speaker 8: find out what happens at one and two. You know,
- 23:05Speaker 8: I think that's where the intrigue is. The closer we
- 23:08Speaker 8: get to the draft, I think, the better we feel
- 23:10Speaker 8: brace young Alabama quarterback will be the number one pick
- 23:13Speaker 8: to the Panthers. But that's where the intrigue starts. At
- 23:15Speaker 8: number two. What do the Texans do? I think from
- 23:18Speaker 8: the outside looking in, it's easy to say they need
- 23:20Speaker 8: a quarterback. But this is a first year head coach,
- 23:24Speaker 8: a new coaching staff. They don't feel pressure to force
- 23:27Speaker 8: a quarterback at number two. If they don't, they aren't
- 23:30Speaker 8: all in universally one believe that quarterback is the pick.
- 23:34Speaker 8: And so the intrigue starts at two. And let's just
- 23:36Speaker 8: say they don't take a quarterback. Let's say they take
- 23:38Speaker 8: Will Anderson or Tyree Wilson, the top non quarterback on
- 23:41Speaker 8: their board. Then the Cardinals are sitting pretty at number
- 23:44Speaker 8: three with only one quarterback off the board. Their phones
- 23:47Speaker 8: will be ringing, and you know, it could be the
- 23:50Speaker 8: Colts making a move just one spot to ensure they
- 23:53Speaker 8: get their guy. Could be the Titans at eleven looking
- 23:56Speaker 8: to trade up and get the quarterback of the future.
- 23:58Speaker 8: So a lot of entry with the quarterbacks that that
- 24:01Speaker 8: is what's going to command the talk all week and
- 24:05Speaker 8: then up until the draft actually starts Thursday night.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Why for a bit after the Panthers trader for that
- 24:12Speaker 1: number one spot, was it so heavy c J. Stroud
- 24:15Speaker 1: Just for like two days it was They're for sure
- 24:18Speaker 1: going to take c J. Stroud. Even the odds reflected
- 24:20Speaker 1: that what was that quick hit and why did I
- 24:23Speaker 1: switch back.
- 24:24Speaker 6: With Bryce Young?
- 24:24Speaker 8: It's just tough because we've never really seen a quarterback
- 24:27Speaker 8: like this. He's the moment he's drafted, he will be
- 24:31Speaker 8: the smallest quarterback in the NFL, and so he's a
- 24:34Speaker 8: complete outlier size wise. And you know, talking with Panther's
- 24:39Speaker 8: head coach Frank Rake at the at the combine, he
- 24:41Speaker 8: flat out said it's a concern when talking about Bryce
- 24:44Speaker 8: s Young and the size. And this was before they
- 24:46Speaker 8: made that move. And so I think you look at CJ.
- 24:48Speaker 8: Shroud sixty three to fifteen, a very good pocket passer.
- 24:52Speaker 8: You could look at c J. Shroud and say, Okay,
- 24:55Speaker 8: he's the one guy that everybody in the room is
- 24:57Speaker 8: going to agree on. But I think with Young. If
- 25:01Speaker 8: you can get past the size, everything else you love
- 25:03Speaker 8: about him, the instincts, he plays the position like a
- 25:06Speaker 8: point guard, creating space for himself. The vision to see
- 25:09Speaker 8: the entire field is outstanding. A common theme among the
- 25:13Speaker 8: best quarterbacks in the NFL is the ability to create,
- 25:16Speaker 8: and I think that's the big difference between these two quarterbacks,
- 25:19Speaker 8: c J. Stroud and Bryce Young. Bryce Young, it's second
- 25:21Speaker 8: nature to him. It's very natural for him to move
- 25:24Speaker 8: the pocket by those extra half seconds, allow routes to
- 25:27Speaker 8: come open, anticipate those those windows, and then be very
- 25:31Speaker 8: accurate with his throws.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Where c J.
- 25:32Speaker 8: Stroud wants to live in the pocket, that's where he
- 25:35Speaker 8: is at his best, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 25:38Speaker 8: But in today's NFL you have to have some element
- 25:41Speaker 8: of creating, and I think that's where with Bryce Young
- 25:44Speaker 8: he is just a little bit different.
- 25:46Speaker 6: He has some magic acts back there in the pocket.
- 25:49Speaker 8: So if you can get pass the size, Bryce Young clearly,
- 25:53Speaker 8: in my opinion, the best quarterback this year.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the size, though, I mean, that's such a massive
- 25:57Speaker 1: part of it, you know, as he moves pockets. And
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm a massive Bessic guy and watched Alabama play a lot.
- 26:02Speaker 1: He almost has to move the pocket like he's so
- 26:05Speaker 1: good at it because he has to. And I don't know,
- 26:09Speaker 1: maybe Kyler Murray, you know, we could talk even Drew Brees.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Even Has there ever been a coach who then decides
- 26:16Speaker 1: to build their team a bit differently, meaning we don't
- 26:18Speaker 1: want offensive linemen that tall because our quarterback isn't that tall.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Would that be a consideration for once you're building that offense.
- 26:25Speaker 6: I don't think so much the offense.
- 26:27Speaker 8: You know that the personnel, the offensive lineman you're having
- 26:30Speaker 8: on your roster. I think more so the play calling though,
- 26:32Speaker 8: I mean having designed runs or designed plays, so the
- 26:36Speaker 8: quarterback is getting outside the pocket, so you're talking boots
- 26:39Speaker 8: and nakeds and doing these things to get him on
- 26:42Speaker 8: the move where he has clear passing windows. And I
- 26:45Speaker 8: think the biggest concern with Bryce Shaw with his size
- 26:49Speaker 8: is not necessarily the height. It's more so that his
- 26:52Speaker 8: slight build. Because this is a quarterback that welcomes the chaos.
- 26:56Speaker 8: He has no problems standing tough in the pocket or
- 26:59Speaker 8: outside the and allowing a defender come bearing down on
- 27:03Speaker 8: him because he knows that extra half second will allow
- 27:06Speaker 8: the route to come open and so he in the NFL,
- 27:09Speaker 8: where everything's just a little faster, guys hit a little harder.
- 27:12Speaker 8: He's going to have to take better care of his body.
- 27:15Speaker 8: He weighed in at two o fourth to combine, but it's,
- 27:18Speaker 8: you know, not a mystery. He didn't work out or
- 27:20Speaker 8: do anything. And then at the pro day he did
- 27:22Speaker 8: have his position workout, but he didn't weigh in. He's
- 27:25Speaker 8: going to be around one ninety maybe one ninety five.
- 27:29Speaker 8: That'll be his consistent playing weight. We just haven't seen
- 27:32Speaker 8: a quarterback like that. Even you know, you're Russell Wilson's,
- 27:34Speaker 8: your Kyler Murray's, those guys are around two ten, closer
- 27:38Speaker 8: to two fifteen by the time they fill out. Bryce
- 27:41Speaker 8: Chung just doesn't have that type of build. This isn't
- 27:43Speaker 8: a case of oh well, he'll get to the NFL
- 27:45Speaker 8: put on weight. He just doesn't have that type of
- 27:47Speaker 8: body type. You have to be okay with him being
- 27:50Speaker 8: a little bit smaller, and it's really more about durability
- 27:54Speaker 8: than the height issue with him.
- 27:57Speaker 1: So one more question about Bryce Young and when it
- 27:59Speaker 1: comes to quarterback, Frank Craig, you know, I read the
- 28:02Speaker 1: story about all the quarterbacks he's ever had that started
- 28:05Speaker 1: for him, we're just massive dudes, six four, six ' five.
- 28:08Speaker 1: That's what he preferred. That's the only way as he's
- 28:11Speaker 1: been a coach that he has, you know, used quarterbacks.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So I mean even I guess as a coach, you
- 28:17Speaker 1: kind of have to kind of reorganize how you're going
- 28:21Speaker 1: to run your own offense. If you bring in a
- 28:23Speaker 1: quarterback like you've never had before, right, you scheme completely different?
- 28:26Speaker 6: Yeah, no, no question.
- 28:27Speaker 8: I mean you have to have an open mind to
- 28:30Speaker 8: what the college game is giving you. I think in
- 28:32Speaker 8: an ideal world, you're drafting, you know, a guy that
- 28:35Speaker 8: looks like Troy Aikman, and but he's got better mobility,
- 28:38Speaker 8: He's got this arm and you know that's great. But
- 28:40Speaker 8: you know, how are we talking about air raid Texas
- 28:44Speaker 8: Tech quarterbacks before Pat Mahomes. You know, it's just these
- 28:46Speaker 8: guys don't work, they don't translate. But then a guy
- 28:50Speaker 8: that's just a little bit different. He's the way he's wired,
- 28:52Speaker 8: the way he plays. You know what does Patrick Mahomes?
- 28:56Speaker 8: He's different and so he ends up being a first
- 28:58Speaker 8: round pick. And you know the legend is born with
- 29:01Speaker 8: Bryce Young. Yeah, ideally you want a bigger guy the
- 29:04Speaker 8: way that we want our offense to run. Is someone
- 29:07Speaker 8: that can you know, looks like Ben Roethlisberger can shake
- 29:10Speaker 8: off contact, but Bryce is just a little different and
- 29:13Speaker 8: the way that he plays it's such an intangible position.
- 29:16Speaker 8: You know, we've seen Jalen Hurts get that big contract recently,
- 29:20Speaker 8: and above all, with Jalen Hurts, the intangibles that he
- 29:24Speaker 8: brings to the field and off the field in the
- 29:26Speaker 8: locker room, that's a big part of his success. Bryce
- 29:30Speaker 8: Young is wired a similar a similar way. I mean
- 29:32Speaker 8: it just with the way he carries himself, the toughness,
- 29:35Speaker 8: the competitiveness, the intelligence, the processing. So I think that
- 29:39Speaker 8: you're willing to sacrifice the size for a special talent,
- 29:42Speaker 8: and I think Bryce Young falls.
- 29:43Speaker 6: In that category.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna spend some time on the quarterbacks. We'll go
- 29:46Speaker 1: to c J. Stroud, who will be the second quarterback
- 29:49Speaker 1: off the board most likely unless somebody falls super super
- 29:51Speaker 1: in love with Anthony Richardson, But with c J. Stroud.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I think I saw a tweet yesterday and I don't
- 29:56Speaker 1: know if the tweet's true or not, but it goes
- 29:57Speaker 1: to a bigger question than I have about teams or
- 30:00Speaker 1: people wanting to diminish players so they can get them.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And c J. Stroud, the story was he was supposed
- 30:07Speaker 1: to show up to the Peyton Manning Passing Academy and
- 30:09Speaker 1: did not show up, a kind of ghosted it.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I don't know if you've heard that story. I don't
- 30:12Speaker 3: know if it's true.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But my question is is this a common thing where
- 30:15Speaker 1: people are saying stuff about players so they will fall
- 30:18Speaker 1: more and possibly fall to them in the draft.
- 30:20Speaker 8: I mean, we knew about this last summer. It wasn't
- 30:23Speaker 8: a big deal. Then it's not a big deal now.
- 30:24Speaker 8: Teams have certainly known about it. You know, unless we're
- 30:27Speaker 8: talking about a gas mask Larrymie Tunsul type of situation.
- 30:34Speaker 8: You know, teams know what's going on, and so nothing
- 30:37Speaker 8: that I say or any analyst out there says, is
- 30:40Speaker 8: going to affect how teams rank these players.
- 30:43Speaker 6: You know.
- 30:44Speaker 8: With with CJ, he know he's he's not a perfectly
- 30:48Speaker 8: clean prospect by any means. You know, he has his
- 30:51Speaker 8: areas where teams are a little concerned. But above all,
- 30:53Speaker 8: I think you feel great about his seal or about
- 30:55Speaker 8: his floor as an NFL passer because he's so clean
- 30:58Speaker 8: from the pocket, his ability to read pre and post snap,
- 31:02Speaker 8: and then his anticipation down the field, the ability to
- 31:04Speaker 8: throw with touch and touch up every level of the
- 31:06Speaker 8: field be accurate.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Now. I think he was.
- 31:09Speaker 8: He helped by Ohio States offense with the you know,
- 31:12Speaker 8: two tackles that will be drafted, won in the first round,
- 31:15Speaker 8: one the second round. It's a really an amazing cast
- 31:19Speaker 8: of wide receivers. Last year twenty twenty one when he
- 31:21Speaker 8: had Crystal Lave, Garrett Wilson, Jackson Smith and Jacob This
- 31:25Speaker 8: past year, Marvin Harrison junior Marvin Harrison Junior were in
- 31:27Speaker 8: this draft. He might be the first non quarterback draft that.
- 31:30Speaker 8: He is that good of a player now, so you
- 31:33Speaker 8: have to try and scout CJ independent of all of that,
- 31:36Speaker 8: plus the scheme and the offense that he played in,
- 31:40Speaker 8: which is not always easy to do. But I think
- 31:41Speaker 8: you feel good about his floor as an NFL starter,
- 31:45Speaker 8: and then can he be creative enough? I think that's,
- 31:49Speaker 8: like I said, the big difference between Bryce and CJ.
- 31:51Speaker 8: Can he develop, you know, as a as an improviser
- 31:55Speaker 8: using his legs. We saw that a little bit against
- 31:57Speaker 8: Georgia in the College Football Playoffs, where he played his
- 32:01Speaker 8: best game on the biggest stage against the biggest defense
- 32:04Speaker 8: or the best defense, and you have to be encouraged
- 32:07Speaker 8: by that, no question. But ultimately his NFL ceiling will
- 32:11Speaker 8: be determined by how he can develop as a creator
- 32:15Speaker 8: in the NFL.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Colts. For in your monk Anthony Richardson, and you know,
- 32:22Speaker 1: I watched him play at Florida a lot. I watched
- 32:24Speaker 1: him early when he was like, this guy's gonna win
- 32:26Speaker 1: the Heisman. Then I watched him middle and lately like
- 32:28Speaker 1: this guy is not good at all. So I've got
- 32:29Speaker 1: to watch the whole rise and fall and then in
- 32:33Speaker 1: the workouts and his throwing, he looks like a line back,
- 32:36Speaker 1: like I've seen the whole picture with Richardson. But when
- 32:39Speaker 1: I see the Colts and Anthony richard is such a
- 32:42Speaker 1: raw he will be such a raw NFL quarterback. And
- 32:46Speaker 1: if he goes to the Colts, I feel like they're
- 32:47Speaker 1: gonna want to play him quickly. I feel like a
- 32:51Speaker 1: team that would have a more established quarterback would be
- 32:53Speaker 1: a team that would go after Anthony Richardson. Do you
- 32:56Speaker 1: think the Colts are going to go for Richardson and
- 32:58Speaker 1: then just grab him throw him in the fire.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Well, that's the question, because I think Anthony richards is
- 33:02Speaker 8: a player that you want to sit and you know,
- 33:05Speaker 8: develop a little bit, but at the same time, he
- 33:07Speaker 8: needs to play. That's how Anthony Richardson is going to
- 33:10Speaker 8: get better. And selfishly, that's why I hope he returned
- 33:13Speaker 8: to Florida for another year, is so he could get
- 33:15Speaker 8: better and work through some of these things.
- 33:17Speaker 6: But I don't think that him sitting.
- 33:19Speaker 8: And watching film and reading the playbook, that's not going
- 33:22Speaker 8: to help his accuracy become more consistent. Actually being on
- 33:26Speaker 8: the field, playing with the ones, getting those live reps.
- 33:29Speaker 8: That is is how he's going to get better. And
- 33:32Speaker 8: you know, we have to remember he's just twenty years old.
- 33:34Speaker 8: He didn't come from a big time high school, so
- 33:36Speaker 8: it's not like he's been groomed for this for a
- 33:38Speaker 8: long time. Only thirteen career starts. He was below five
- 33:42Speaker 8: hundred in those thirteen career starts. But he's a total
- 33:45Speaker 8: freak show as a talent. When you talk about over
- 33:48Speaker 8: six four, two hundred and forty five pounds, outstanding arm.
- 33:52Speaker 8: You know, if you take his best plays, he looks
- 33:54Speaker 8: like an accurate quarterback. I mean, he has a lot
- 33:56Speaker 8: of good tape out there, you know, throwing the Utah Tape,
- 33:59Speaker 8: the Sea. He's an opener last year, but to your point,
- 34:02Speaker 8: it was a roller coaster with him. There are several
- 34:04Speaker 8: times where he's missing open receivers or he's not hitting
- 34:09Speaker 8: the ball. Placement is not there where it needs to be.
- 34:11Speaker 8: And in their little things like hitting a receiver on
- 34:14Speaker 8: the right shoulder on a slant, if you hit him
- 34:16Speaker 8: on the opposite shoulder, it's the defender is going to
- 34:19Speaker 8: be right there. It's going to be an incomplete pass
- 34:21Speaker 8: or a stop right there. You hit him on the
- 34:22Speaker 8: correct shoulder. All of a sudden, that five yard pass
- 34:25Speaker 8: is turning into a twelve yard game, maybe even more so.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Some of the little things that details. There's just a
- 34:30Speaker 8: lot that Anthony Richardson doesn't know at this point, and
- 34:32Speaker 8: so I think as an organization, you have to be
- 34:35Speaker 8: comfortable with the timeline that Anthony Richardson gives you. And
- 34:39Speaker 8: maybe the Colts are maybe they're not. Remember the Colts
- 34:41Speaker 8: they have a first year head coach as well, Chris
- 34:44Speaker 8: Baller the GM. You could say he's maybe on the
- 34:46Speaker 8: hot seat and maybe he wants someone that is more
- 34:48Speaker 8: NFL ready, But you think about what a head coach
- 34:51Speaker 8: Shange Sike and what he did with Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia.
- 34:54Speaker 8: It'd be awfully fun to see what he could do
- 34:56Speaker 8: with an Anthony Richardson in Indianapolis.
- 34:58Speaker 1: The Seahawks have their guy at least for the next
- 34:59Speaker 1: couple year. I think we see that. But one pick
- 35:02Speaker 1: back if Anthony Richon's available, is that something you can
- 35:05Speaker 1: see Seattle doing and just going, yeah, you're a guy,
- 35:09Speaker 1: but not right this second.
- 35:10Speaker 8: I would be surprised, just because I think that they
- 35:13Speaker 8: really feel like they have a chance to go for
- 35:14Speaker 8: it here with Gino Smith. But you know what, they
- 35:17Speaker 8: have two first round picks, so they might see this
- 35:19Speaker 8: pick as being you know, house money, and you know what,
- 35:23Speaker 8: let's take our quarterback in the future right here and
- 35:26Speaker 8: put them in a good quarterback situation where you know,
- 35:28Speaker 8: we don't have to put him onto the field before
- 35:30Speaker 8: he's ready. So I don't think you could completely rule
- 35:33Speaker 8: it out, although I would be surprised if the Seahawks
- 35:36Speaker 8: draft a quarterback at five, and you could probably say
- 35:39Speaker 8: the same thing with.
- 35:40Speaker 6: The Lions at six.
- 35:41Speaker 8: They also have two first round picks and conceivably a
- 35:44Speaker 8: quarterback in place that they feel like they is good
- 35:47Speaker 8: enough to win with in Jared Goff, But how often
- 35:50Speaker 8: are you going to have a chance at an Anthey Richardson,
- 35:52Speaker 8: you know a guy that you can draft and develop.
- 35:54Speaker 8: And so you know the Seahawks that's at five, the
- 35:58Speaker 8: Lions at six, two really interesting landing spots, and then
- 36:01Speaker 8: even at the Raiders at seven, Jimmy Garoppolo, you know,
- 36:05Speaker 8: is he going to be able to play a seventeen
- 36:06Speaker 8: game schedule?
- 36:07Speaker 6: You look at eight with the.
- 36:08Speaker 8: Falcons, you know Ritter is a you know he's going
- 36:12Speaker 8: to his second year now, Desmond Ritterer from Cincinnati, fine quarterback.
- 36:18Speaker 8: I don't think they believe he's the future though, the Falcons,
- 36:21Speaker 8: if they have a chance at one of these quarterbacks,
- 36:22Speaker 8: could they make a move.
- 36:23Speaker 6: And then I mentioned the Titans. The Titans have made
- 36:25Speaker 6: a lot of calls.
- 36:25Speaker 8: About what it would take to move up a little bit,
- 36:28Speaker 8: and you know that's not completely uncommon. You know, you
- 36:33Speaker 8: always try to lay the groundwork for potential trades. Doesn't
- 36:37Speaker 8: mean they're going to make a move, but they've at
- 36:39Speaker 8: least examined the possibilities if they want to go up
- 36:41Speaker 8: and get one of these quarterbacks.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Speaking of the Titans, you have Levis going to the
- 36:45Speaker 1: Titans at eleven and you're mogged. Have teams fallen out
- 36:48Speaker 1: of I want to say out of love, but have
- 36:50Speaker 1: they fallen less lovey with Levis over the past few weeks?
- 36:54Speaker 6: You know, I wouldn't say that.
- 36:55Speaker 8: I mean I would say that what he did this
- 36:58Speaker 8: past year was certainly not live up to expectations. But
- 37:02Speaker 8: I think that an important thing when you talk about
- 37:03Speaker 8: quarterbacks with a guy like Will Levis, you have to
- 37:07Speaker 8: separate the reasons from the excuses. And with Will Levis,
- 37:10Speaker 8: you think about what he lost from last year. He
- 37:13Speaker 8: lost to the play caller Liam Cohen, who left the
- 37:16Speaker 8: last February to become the offensive coordinator of the Rams.
- 37:19Speaker 8: He lost his top receiver and wan Dale Robinson. He
- 37:22Speaker 8: lost three fifths of that offensive line. And then you
- 37:24Speaker 8: also factor in that he was hurt most of this year.
- 37:26Speaker 8: I mean, people don't realize he was getting shots before
- 37:28Speaker 8: every game just so he could go out there and
- 37:30Speaker 8: be a functional player. So all these things combined, and
- 37:34Speaker 8: then you factor in the tools are off the charts physically,
- 37:38Speaker 8: the way he's built. He's also extremely intelligent. The toughness
- 37:42Speaker 8: is outstanding. A lot of teams are going to want
- 37:44Speaker 8: to work with that. They're looking at it and say, yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 8: I wish he was more consistent. Yeah, you know, I
- 37:49Speaker 8: wish he saw things a little bit quicker. But the
- 37:51Speaker 8: tools that he offers, both physically and mentally, if we
- 37:54Speaker 8: get that type of talent with our coaches, we feel
- 37:57Speaker 8: like we might have something special down the road. I
- 38:00Speaker 8: think will levis still really well liked among NFL teams
- 38:04Speaker 8: and why he's still slated to go somewhere in the
- 38:06Speaker 8: top ten picks, even though that that senior year did
- 38:08Speaker 8: not go quite according to plan.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Do you think Hendon Hooker slips into the back of
- 38:12Speaker 1: the first round.
- 38:13Speaker 8: There's a good chance, And I think a big part
- 38:15Speaker 8: of it is that fifth year option because with a
- 38:17Speaker 8: guy like Hendon Hooker probably taking a red shirt year
- 38:20Speaker 8: that first year, so if you lose that year, getting
- 38:23Speaker 8: that the fifth year option really helps you recoup a year.
- 38:27Speaker 8: With Hendon Hooker and coming off the ACL injury already
- 38:29Speaker 8: twenty five years old, and he's coming from a system
- 38:32Speaker 8: that we haven't you know, it comes from that Art
- 38:33Speaker 8: Briles system where we haven't seen quarterbacks really make a
- 38:37Speaker 8: smooth transition to the NFL where you're going from half
- 38:40Speaker 8: field Reeds to full field Greeds. You know, you're going
- 38:43Speaker 8: from an offense in college where it just spreads out.
- 38:45Speaker 8: The defense creates a lot of open holes in coverage
- 38:48Speaker 8: where everything's a lot more condensed in the NFL. So
- 38:51Speaker 8: it's a projection. I think he's a second round player,
- 38:55Speaker 8: but it would not surprise me at all if we
- 38:56Speaker 8: end up seeing seeing him in the first round, especially
- 38:59Speaker 8: for a team that wants to get that fifth year option.
- 39:01Speaker 8: Maybe we see a team like if the Colts don't
- 39:03Speaker 8: draft one at four, we can see the Colts trade
- 39:05Speaker 8: back into the first round, Maybe the Seahawks, several teams
- 39:09Speaker 8: could get back into that first round in order to
- 39:11Speaker 8: get that fifth year option.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Jalen Carter falling in your mock obviously, the recent controversy,
- 39:16Speaker 1: the very sad story. You have him at nine probably
- 39:21Speaker 1: a top three pick if not, I mean, like, how
- 39:26Speaker 1: much money do you think he lost from this? And
- 39:28Speaker 1: do you think that the Bears are the first team
- 39:30Speaker 1: that kind of need that tackle and also are willing
- 39:33Speaker 1: to deal with whatever baggage comes with drafting him.
- 39:36Speaker 8: Yeah, And it's a complicated prospect to talk about because
- 39:39Speaker 8: based just on talent, you could make the easy argument
- 39:42Speaker 8: he is the top player in this draft. Every team
- 39:45Speaker 8: wants that interior disruption. You know, edge rushers are great,
- 39:49Speaker 8: but if you can get that disruption up the middle
- 39:52Speaker 8: and really force quarterbacks to really think that's coming and
- 39:56Speaker 8: have to move different ways, that that's what really gets
- 39:59Speaker 8: quarterbacks shaky and off their games. So his block destruction
- 40:04Speaker 8: is phenomenal. It's power, it's quickness, it's a skill level
- 40:08Speaker 8: where he's still young and he's still figuring things out,
- 40:10Speaker 8: but he still shows a very high skill level at
- 40:13Speaker 8: defensive tackle. So based just on talent, you're drafting this
- 40:16Speaker 8: guy in a top three no doubt. Now, factoring in
- 40:19Speaker 8: the off field, the maturity, that's where the question marks
- 40:21Speaker 8: come in. And maturity is not guaranteed as we age,
- 40:25Speaker 8: as we get older, especially in the NFL where big
- 40:28Speaker 8: contracts are involved. You know, it's a lot are put
- 40:31Speaker 8: on these guys at an early age. It could be
- 40:34Speaker 8: tough for some guys to really manage everything. And with
- 40:37Speaker 8: Jalen Carter, it's a big risk, big reward type of pick.
- 40:40Speaker 8: I think he's going to end up going somewhere between
- 40:43Speaker 8: picks five and pick nine. So you look at the
- 40:46Speaker 8: Seahawks at five, the Lions at six, the Raiders at seven,
- 40:49Speaker 8: the Falcons at eight, and then the Bears they're at
- 40:51Speaker 8: number nine. Which team in that five pick range has
- 40:56Speaker 8: the infrastructure in the locker room where they feel like,
- 40:59Speaker 8: you know, we can bring in a p like this
- 41:00Speaker 8: and you know he's gonna fit what we're doing and
- 41:03Speaker 8: or what we're building and also be able to take
- 41:06Speaker 8: that type of swing because this is a home run
- 41:08Speaker 8: swing with the Jalen Carter. But he's too good to
- 41:11Speaker 8: fall too far. I think someone someone will end up
- 41:14Speaker 8: taking that swing somewhere in the top ten.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Two more questions about the draft and a couple other questions.
- 41:19Speaker 1: As far as Will Anderson Jr. I mean, looks like
- 41:21Speaker 1: that guy is ready to go, Like he looks like
- 41:23Speaker 1: you could plug him, and he's gonna be ready to
- 41:25Speaker 1: go next year and he's just gonna be a great edge. Well,
- 41:28Speaker 1: the difference between Will Anderson and Tyree Wilson? Is there
- 41:31Speaker 1: a distinct difference in the two that would easily make
- 41:34Speaker 1: Will Anderson the junior. I mean also I've also heard
- 41:36Speaker 1: his dad, his dad's a live too, But Will Anderson
- 41:38Speaker 1: Junior that first non quarterback off the board.
- 41:42Speaker 6: Yeah, Like with one guy Will Anderson.
- 41:44Speaker 8: He was the guy the moment he showed up, the
- 41:46Speaker 8: first linebacker to ever start for Nick Saban as a
- 41:49Speaker 8: true freshman. This guy was producing at a high level
- 41:52Speaker 8: from the get go. At three year junior, sixty two
- 41:56Speaker 8: tackles for a loss in forty one games. I mean,
- 41:58Speaker 8: the production is just off the charts. Six three and
- 42:01Speaker 8: a half two hundred and fifty five pounds at the
- 42:04Speaker 8: very least, like it's hard to view Will Anderson vic
- 42:07Speaker 8: a bust. You know, at the very least, this guy
- 42:10Speaker 8: is going to be a starter for a long time.
- 42:12Speaker 8: At the best, he's going to be in Pro Bowls,
- 42:14Speaker 8: win All Pros. With Tyree Wilson, I think there's a
- 42:18Speaker 8: little more fluctuation with the different outcomes of what could
- 42:22Speaker 8: happen because he is talking about Toolsy, a guy six
- 42:25Speaker 8: five and a half two hundred and seventy five pounds.
- 42:28Speaker 8: The arms are is almost thirty six inch arms, the
- 42:31Speaker 8: wingspan is huge. A really good athlete for that size.
- 42:35Speaker 8: He can win in different ways. Power, quickness, scheme, versatile.
- 42:39Speaker 8: You won him lining up as a five technique of
- 42:41Speaker 8: four eye he can do that. You want him dropping
- 42:43Speaker 8: in space, he can play on his feet but this
- 42:45Speaker 8: is also a fifth year senior, a guy that's older
- 42:48Speaker 8: than Anderson and didn't really didn't consistently put up that
- 42:52Speaker 8: production you would expect for a guy with his talent.
- 42:54Speaker 8: So for a guy that played at Texas Tech in
- 42:56Speaker 8: the Big twelve, why are only seven sacks this year?
- 42:59Speaker 6: You know, why?
- 43:00Speaker 8: Why not producing at a higher rate when he was younger?
- 43:03Speaker 8: You know, sometimes the light bulb doesn't come on for
- 43:06Speaker 8: guys right away. Sometimes it takes time. But for a
- 43:08Speaker 8: Tyree Wilson, you love the trades, you love the tools,
- 43:11Speaker 8: a little more of a projection. For me, I'm going
- 43:13Speaker 8: to take the guy that I saw produce day in
- 43:15Speaker 8: day out in Willie Anderson at Alabama, and I think
- 43:17Speaker 8: most teams.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Agree with that.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I want to go to B. John Robinson my final
- 43:20Speaker 1: question about this year's draft, and then moved to a
- 43:24Speaker 1: couple other things. But B Jhon Robinson the only running
- 43:26Speaker 1: back on your first round mock. I'm the only running
- 43:29Speaker 1: back on really any mock I've seen period. You know, now,
- 43:32Speaker 1: why draft a running back in the first round? They're
- 43:34Speaker 1: just easily replaceable? But why be John Robinson? And why
- 43:36Speaker 1: so high in the first round? I mean, in the
- 43:38Speaker 1: top sixteen picks here.
- 43:40Speaker 8: He should be a top ten pick. B Jon Robinson
- 43:43Speaker 8: is that type of player. He's that good. I know,
- 43:45Speaker 8: I'm there's a lot of discussion about running backs when
- 43:48Speaker 8: it comes to the draft, and honestly, I think it's
- 43:50Speaker 8: it's we've kind of gone too far in my opinion.
- 43:53Speaker 8: These guys aren't paid, you know, that much. Where you
- 43:56Speaker 8: can't draft a running back in the top ten. Now
- 43:59Speaker 8: signing him to that second contract, that's a different discussion.
- 44:02Speaker 8: That's where we can get into like is that worth it?
- 44:04Speaker 1: You know?
- 44:05Speaker 8: Is that a smart business move? One hundred percent on
- 44:08Speaker 8: board with that. But a special talent like a Jhon Robinson, who,
- 44:11Speaker 8: as you know, talk about the balance, the quickness for
- 44:14Speaker 8: a guy that size, his ability to create on his own,
- 44:17Speaker 8: whether it's with power, whether it's with elusiveness, he can
- 44:20Speaker 8: do that at a big time level.
- 44:22Speaker 6: And then also forget forget the running back tree.
- 44:24Speaker 8: As a route runner, he could run the wide receiver
- 44:28Speaker 8: route tree. Line him up in the slot, line them
- 44:30Speaker 8: up about wide, He'll run the post. He'll run these
- 44:32Speaker 8: different routes, catch the ball away from his body and
- 44:35Speaker 8: do it at a high level. So I would have
- 44:36Speaker 8: no trouble drafting a Bijon Robinson in the top half
- 44:39Speaker 8: around one, and I don't think you're going to regret it.
- 44:43Speaker 8: And it'll be interesting where he ends up. You look
- 44:45Speaker 8: at Philly at number ten, dropping him in that offense
- 44:50Speaker 8: would be so much fun to watch. But the Eagles
- 44:52Speaker 8: traditionally not a team that drafts running backs in the
- 44:54Speaker 8: first round. You know, what, where is Jhon Robinson going
- 44:58Speaker 8: to land? There's not a lot of obvious landing spots.
- 45:01Speaker 8: But at the same time, he's too good to fall
- 45:03Speaker 8: too far, so he's going to go somewhere in the
- 45:06Speaker 8: top twenty picks. It's just a matter of, you know,
- 45:08Speaker 8: where does that end up going? Could it be the
- 45:10Speaker 8: Commanders at sixteen? Could we see a surprise team, you know,
- 45:13Speaker 8: like the Patriots or someone sweep in there.
- 45:15Speaker 6: He's too good to fall too far On.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Draft Day NFL Draft twenty twenty three.
- 45:19Speaker 1: The Beast. I mean, it is, guys, I'm telling you
- 45:21Speaker 1: it is. It is intense. It's everything you want to know.
- 45:24Speaker 1: It came out April tenth, but it is hundreds of
- 45:28Speaker 1: scouting reports, nineteen hundred players evaluated.
- 45:32Speaker 3: It's three hundred thousand words.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I mean, I wrote two books, and together those books
- 45:37Speaker 1: did not I don't know if it's three hundred thousand words.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you, Dane, Like, this's a lot
- 45:41Speaker 1: of work you've put into this, and there's a seven
- 45:43Speaker 1: round mock draft on the Atlantic.
- 45:44Speaker 3: By the seventh round, you're just guessing.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Well, no, I mean you try to be. It's educated guesses.
- 45:49Speaker 6: Put it that way.
- 45:50Speaker 8: You know, you try to You pay attention to thirty visits,
- 45:53Speaker 8: You pay attention to who's talking to who.
- 45:55Speaker 6: You know, certain teams have certain trends.
- 45:57Speaker 8: You know, they go for high upside edge rusher late
- 46:00Speaker 8: in the draft, or they want their backup quarterback, you know,
- 46:03Speaker 8: so you pay attention to all these things and try
- 46:05Speaker 8: to be as realistic as possible. And so yeah, I mean, people,
- 46:10Speaker 8: the feedback on the draft guy's been great. You know,
- 46:12Speaker 8: no other draft guid out there has testing data from
- 46:15Speaker 8: all the Pro day and combined data for almost nineteen
- 46:18Speaker 8: hundred players.
- 46:18Speaker 6: But you know it's in there.
- 46:20Speaker 8: And so you want to know my top three hundred
- 46:21Speaker 8: and fifty wide receivers in this draft, you can find
- 46:24Speaker 8: those and so over four hundred reports and people have
- 46:28Speaker 8: really enjoyed and it's a resource guide above everything else.
- 46:31Speaker 8: Whether you agree with my rankings or not, you have
- 46:33Speaker 8: this by your side during all three days of the draft,
- 46:36Speaker 8: you won't be disappointed.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And he has so many wide receivers that I'm at
- 46:39Speaker 1: receiver three twenty two and I haven't played since my
- 46:42Speaker 1: senior year in high school. So like he's so in depth,
- 46:44Speaker 1: He's done his homework so much. Hey, listen, I I'm
- 46:48Speaker 1: not going to tell you how I feel about this.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you because you will know more
- 46:51Speaker 1: about this than I will, and then I will either
- 46:53Speaker 1: be proven right or wrong. But when it comes to
- 46:54Speaker 1: Tim Couch, do you feel like if Tim Couch would
- 46:57Speaker 1: have been in a better system that he would have
- 46:59Speaker 1: been a better a better organization? I should say, do
- 47:02Speaker 1: you think if he'd have been given the tools, had
- 47:04Speaker 1: been in a better organization that he would have been
- 47:07Speaker 1: a much better NFL quarterback with a lot of ingevity?
- 47:11Speaker 2: Oh?
- 47:11Speaker 6: One hundred percent.
- 47:12Speaker 8: It's funny you mentioned that that's that is the draft
- 47:14Speaker 8: that made me fall in love with scouting and evaluation.
- 47:18Speaker 8: You know, a thirteen year old growing up in northeast Ohio.
- 47:21Speaker 8: The Browns are coming back as an expansion franchise and
- 47:24Speaker 8: trying to figure out who should be that number one
- 47:26Speaker 8: overall pick.
- 47:28Speaker 6: That it just it was fascinating.
- 47:29Speaker 8: And you know that was the Browns in ninety nine
- 47:32Speaker 8: were one of the worst expansion franchises we've ever seen.
- 47:35Speaker 8: They just did not have talent on that roster to
- 47:37Speaker 8: support a quarterback. And then it didn't help that they
- 47:40Speaker 8: just did not draft well, now, Courtney Brown the next year,
- 47:43Speaker 8: Gerorg Warren the next year, you know, passing on Ladanian,
- 47:46Speaker 8: Tomlinson and all these talents they could have had, but
- 47:51Speaker 8: not having the offensive line help, specifically that Tim Couch
- 47:55Speaker 8: if he goes to a different and I always love
- 47:57Speaker 8: to play this game, it's you know, if the Bears
- 48:00Speaker 8: drafted Patrick Mahomes that draft twenty seventeen instead of Mitchell Trubisky,
- 48:06Speaker 8: and then Mitchell Trubisky goes to the Chiefs with a
- 48:08Speaker 8: better infrastructure, Andy Reid running that offense, how do we
- 48:13Speaker 8: look at those two careers now? You know, is Mitchell
- 48:15Speaker 8: Trubisky still with the Chiefs. It was Patrick Mahomes able
- 48:18Speaker 8: to overcome all the challenges that he would have faced
- 48:22Speaker 8: in Chicago. Is he that good of a talent where
- 48:25Speaker 8: it didn't matter he was gonna be able to overcome that.
- 48:27Speaker 6: And it goes back to Tim Couch.
- 48:28Speaker 8: You know, if Donovan McNabb was a number one overall
- 48:31Speaker 8: pick to the Eagle or to the Browns, tim Couch
- 48:33Speaker 8: went one pick later to the Eagles, which had a
- 48:36Speaker 8: better setup, better team. They were in the Super Bowl
- 48:39Speaker 8: a couple years later. How are we looking at those
- 48:41Speaker 8: two careers differently? So it's always fun to do those
- 48:43Speaker 8: sliding doors, the dominoes. You know so much that happens
- 48:47Speaker 8: in the draft. You know, one little decision can change
- 48:50Speaker 8: the trajectory of all these different careers and teams, and
- 48:53Speaker 8: it's kind of fun to look back at it and
- 48:55Speaker 8: kind of wonder.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm a big Tim Couch advocate when we talk about
- 48:58Speaker 1: quarterbacks that were way better than they were allowed to be.
- 49:01Speaker 1: I'm always like Tim Couch got screwed. If he'd been
- 49:03Speaker 1: on any other team, it had been a whole different story.
- 49:06Speaker 1: And mostly I'm laughed at and told to leave the room.
- 49:10Speaker 1: But Dane, I'm gonna save this clip and I'm gonna
- 49:12Speaker 1: play it every single time I get into the Tim
- 49:13Speaker 1: Couch argument. Look, here's the deal, everybody, if a resource
- 49:18Speaker 1: guide is an excellent even with fantasy football, which is
- 49:22Speaker 1: you know, coming up and everybody wants to find the
- 49:24Speaker 1: rookie you want. The day. It's all here. So for
- 49:26Speaker 1: the draft, the timing is here, but also for fantasy
- 49:29Speaker 1: football go His twitter is dp Brugler. We'll post it
- 49:33Speaker 1: up there in our notes and also the Beast. That's it.
- 49:37Speaker 1: You guys get it. Hey, Dane, I'm a big fan
- 49:38Speaker 1: of your work because you put a lot of time
- 49:40Speaker 1: and effort into it. You're very thorough. I can appreciate that,
- 49:43Speaker 1: and I really appreciate the time you spent with.
- 49:44Speaker 6: Us today, Aime, I appreciate it all.
- 49:46Speaker 1: R Dan see a buddy. Thanks to Dane for coming
- 49:50Speaker 1: on with us. Great interview. I'm sure we'll be doing
- 49:54Speaker 1: more draft all this week. It's big. One of my
- 49:56Speaker 1: friends text me last night something completely different about something also,
- 50:00Speaker 1: and at the end he was like, happy draft week.
- 50:02Speaker 1: That's how you know your hardcore love it when it's
- 50:04Speaker 1: like a holiday, when it's like happy draft week, buddy.
- 50:07Speaker 1: So I will be most interested in where Bijeon goes
- 50:12Speaker 1: because there are somewhere as high as ten because he's
- 50:15Speaker 1: so good. But there's also the running backs aren't valued
- 50:19Speaker 1: like they used to. But he also can catch the ball.
- 50:21Speaker 1: He can play as they ain't talked about. He can
- 50:23Speaker 1: play receiver. So Bjeon didn't interested in me. But then
- 50:27Speaker 1: like the CJ. Stroud stuff because now even this morning,
- 50:30Speaker 1: I woke up and saw that the Texans will probably
- 50:35Speaker 1: draft an edge guy.
- 50:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 7: I always wonder, especially draft week, what's true, what's not?
- 50:41Speaker 7: Who's trying to get stories out there? And maybe they
- 50:42Speaker 7: want to trade, move back, move up. That's why I
- 50:45Speaker 7: just this whole week is going to be crazy.
- 50:47Speaker 1: I agree with all of that. But if you're sitting
- 50:49Speaker 1: at two, you almost don't have to do that because
- 50:53Speaker 1: you can have whoever you want. Because Bryce Young's going one,
- 50:55Speaker 1: so two, it's not like you need to hide your pick.
- 50:58Speaker 1: If you're at three or four or eight, I can
- 51:01Speaker 1: see you kind of putting up a smoke screen, but
- 51:05Speaker 1: it too not so much just who's gonna move out?
- 51:08Speaker 1: The Colts maybe, yeah, but where are they gonna go?
- 51:10Speaker 1: Maybe to three where Arizona's pick? Yeah, because the texts
- 51:15Speaker 1: are two?
- 51:15Speaker 6: Right?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay, Well let's talk about this. It used to
- 51:19Speaker 1: be the wonder Lick test. I know where did this
- 51:21Speaker 1: test come from. It's a different test that all the
- 51:25Speaker 1: guys in the draft are going to the NFL. They
- 51:27Speaker 1: all take it, and it used to be called the
- 51:29Speaker 1: wonder lick. Don't know if it's the same deal. I
- 51:31Speaker 1: know it's the same concept. Or they take a test
- 51:32Speaker 1: you see how smart you are, and there you go,
- 51:36Speaker 1: and I guess they publish the scores. But if I'm
- 51:38Speaker 1: a dummy, I ain't taking the test in the same
- 51:41Speaker 1: way that I wouldn't run at a pro day. Or
- 51:44Speaker 1: it's a combine, or if you get to pick your
- 51:48Speaker 1: own terms. I'll take the test, but I'm gonna have
- 51:50Speaker 1: somebody with me to help me with the answers.
- 51:52Speaker 5: Well.
- 51:52Speaker 1: C J.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Stroud had had terrible results.
- 51:55Speaker 1: The S two is a battery of test intended to
- 51:56Speaker 1: gauge how quickly and accurately a prospect processes information and
- 52:00Speaker 1: chaotic environment while ignoring distractions. So apparently they put a
- 52:03Speaker 1: shocking suit on you. You took it. Yeah, they shocked
- 52:06Speaker 1: the piss out of you, and then they ask you questions.
- 52:10Speaker 1: The scores for the top quarterbacks Bryce Young ninety eight percent.
- 52:15Speaker 1: That's extremely high. Will Levis ninety three percent, again extremely high.
- 52:21Speaker 1: What I read is they like it at about eighty
- 52:23Speaker 1: and above to be somebody that's almost in this world
- 52:27Speaker 1: a sure thing obviously the athletic things that's not in
- 52:31Speaker 1: this part of it, but like sure thing mentally. Can
- 52:35Speaker 1: they if they don't understand now, can they figure it
- 52:38Speaker 1: out soon? Anthony Richards scored a seventy nine, which is good,
- 52:42Speaker 1: Hendon Hooker of forty six percent and CJ. Stroud at
- 52:45Speaker 1: eighteen he got a eighteen. Who do you think he is? Me?
- 52:48Speaker 1: And computer Glass? What the crap? C J. Stroud needed
- 52:52Speaker 1: to go to my French professor and be like, Bro,
- 52:54Speaker 1: you gotta give me a higher score. You gotta let
- 52:56Speaker 1: me through this as agent need to do some more work. Eighteen.
- 53:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:00Speaker 1: I would have done everything I could to make sure
- 53:02Speaker 1: this didn't get out, and I'd be so mad at
- 53:05Speaker 1: whoever this Bob McGinn of Golong. How does he have
- 53:09Speaker 1: the scores? Bob? How does Bob have all how does
- 53:12Speaker 1: he have all this power? And also reach out to
- 53:15Speaker 1: Bob and say, I don't think I did that good, Bob.
- 53:17Speaker 1: If you're gonna put him out, this is what they
- 53:18Speaker 1: do with tabloids. Hey, I'll give you a great story.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I owe you one, a big one. You just keep
- 53:23Speaker 1: this under wraps for now I can't believe it. Eighteen percent.
- 53:26Speaker 1: That's terrible. Yeah, that's the worst one I've ever seen. Well,
- 53:32Speaker 1: this this is the test is new though, Yes, so
- 53:35Speaker 1: I shouldn't say that because this test may be a
- 53:37Speaker 1: little different than the Wonder liqu which is like the
- 53:38Speaker 1: straight act or SAT type test. I think this one,
- 53:41Speaker 1: I don't know what the factors that they say in
- 53:43Speaker 1: a chaotic environment. Again, I don't get that. What they're
- 53:45Speaker 1: shooting with paintballs while you're taking the test, what does
- 53:47Speaker 1: that mean chaotic environment? But c J. Stroud are saying
- 53:51Speaker 1: because of this he could fall a couple spots. I
- 53:53Speaker 1: saw him a different mock this morning. Again it was
- 53:57Speaker 1: Bryce Young, will Anderson. It was the defensive vent from
- 54:01Speaker 1: Texas Tech at three and then the cults are at
- 54:04Speaker 1: four because Arizona has that three pick. The cults are
- 54:07Speaker 1: at four and they had them taking CJ. Stroud and
- 54:10Speaker 1: they would be so happy.
- 54:11Speaker 7: I think if you fellow them.
- 54:13Speaker 1: I mean, he fits the Colts because they make some
- 54:16Speaker 1: real dumb, dumb decisions sometimes that's true. I just don't
- 54:21Speaker 1: trust the Colts. Then they got very fortunate in getting
- 54:24Speaker 1: Peyton Manning and then Andrew Luck. Yeah, because Manning was
- 54:27Speaker 1: hurt and the Colts sucked, so they got Andrew Luck
- 54:29Speaker 1: and then Manning ended up having to go away because
- 54:31Speaker 1: Luck was the guy eighteen percent. That's just wild to me.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Another thing was the clocks will run after first downs
- 54:41Speaker 1: in college football. I don't like it. You don't I
- 54:44Speaker 1: love a pitch clock. I don't like this rule because
- 54:46Speaker 1: I like the games to last longer. Because you're a
- 54:48Speaker 1: big college football guy. Yeah, and there's just more action. No,
- 54:51Speaker 1: I'm a baseball guy too, but there's more action in
- 54:53Speaker 1: the college football game than there is a baseball game.
- 54:56Speaker 3: And so I'm cool. It's I did a lot and
- 54:59Speaker 3: best to go.
- 55:01Speaker 1: It's gonna save about seven plays per offense per game,
- 55:07Speaker 1: so fourteen plays total. So it's not completely revolutionizing it.
- 55:12Speaker 1: But I don't like it. In the NFL, when they
- 55:14Speaker 1: don't stop it, somebody's trying to make it. There's a
- 55:16Speaker 1: comeback out. Yeah, it's like why the stuff cup?
- 55:19Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:20Speaker 1: I like to give them a shot to get set
- 55:21Speaker 1: up there. But so the NCAA approved rule changes that
- 55:24Speaker 1: allow the clock to run after first downs and all
- 55:26Speaker 1: divisions except Division three. Allowing the clock is expected to
- 55:29Speaker 1: reduce the number of plays oh there it is by
- 55:30Speaker 1: average to seven per game. Boom. I saw that, and
- 55:32Speaker 1: I happen to remember it that the clock will continue
- 55:35Speaker 1: to stop after first downs during the final two minutes
- 55:37Speaker 1: of each half. Okay, that's good. Okay I didn't. That's good.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Then I'm into it because the NFL doesn't do that. Yeah,
- 55:44Speaker 1: the NFL just runs. According to statistics, the average game
- 55:48Speaker 1: takes three hours and twenty two minutes. I like, it's
- 55:53Speaker 1: three hours twentywo minutes of like action though. That's the
- 55:55Speaker 1: difference in baseball. In college football, there's always plays being run.
- 55:58Speaker 1: There's always people hitt each other and running fine whatever.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Four lines players, including twenty twenty two first round pick
- 56:05Speaker 1: Jamison Williams, they're suspended different suspensions. Three players were suspended
- 56:11Speaker 1: for the whole season, and I believe the Lions already
- 56:13Speaker 1: released them. Yes they did. They were like, what we
- 56:15Speaker 1: gonna do? He did out? Yeah, goodbye. So Jamison Williams
- 56:20Speaker 1: has to miss six games. Now. He didn't bet on football.
- 56:24Speaker 1: He actually just bet from the team facility. So you
- 56:27Speaker 1: can't do that apparently even if you have drafting sportsbook.
- 56:31Speaker 1: But if you play an NFL team, you cannot bet
- 56:33Speaker 1: from your team's facility, not even just that you can't
- 56:36Speaker 1: bet on the team bus if the bus is traveling
- 56:39Speaker 1: down the road that is not connected to the team.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Sounds like bull crap if you ask me, all these
- 56:45Speaker 1: stadiums have places you can go on and bet. Now, yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 1: they have basically kiosks where you can go get your draftings,
- 56:52Speaker 1: sports book on if it's legalized in the state yet
- 56:55Speaker 1: a player, if not betting on football, can't bet. Code
- 56:58Speaker 1: of conduct by the NFL NFL pick aside. Specifics on
- 57:04Speaker 1: where these bets were placed have not been released. I
- 57:08Speaker 1: don't feel guilty because he knew the rules. And if
- 57:10Speaker 1: you know the rules or the rules have been stated
- 57:13Speaker 1: and you break them, you do serve the punishment. But
- 57:15Speaker 1: it does seem a little bit hypocritical that you can
- 57:19Speaker 1: bet on games in a stadium, but if one of
- 57:22Speaker 1: the players doesn't bet on the NFL at all, but
- 57:25Speaker 1: bets from the locker room or the bus, that that
- 57:28Speaker 1: is against the rules. I think they're bad rules. I
- 57:32Speaker 1: think he did break the rules. It is enforced in
- 57:34Speaker 1: a way that is probably accurate, but it's a dumb roll.
- 57:39Speaker 1: It's a dumb roll. I did watch the Lakers in
- 57:43Speaker 1: Memphis as a late game, the game to start till nine,
- 57:44Speaker 1: nine o'clock. I just wanted to see what Lebron would do.
- 57:49Speaker 1: So and Lebron didn't score forty and he played fine,
- 57:53Speaker 1: but the Lakers jumped out. I think the Grizzlies only
- 57:56Speaker 1: had nine points after the first quarter. Yeah, nine points.
- 58:00Speaker 1: It was ugly fast rury ho murra hot you murra
- 58:08Speaker 1: God dang. He every time he got already shot it,
- 58:10Speaker 1: and he made a lot of them. And he's big.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I would imagine hat Mura is like six. I remember
- 58:18Speaker 1: having sixty six. Oh at least. I mean as soon
- 58:22Speaker 1: as they would get hit, the ball gone. He was
- 58:25Speaker 1: nailing him to eight. Yeah, I know, is that big
- 58:29Speaker 1: Hatcha Mura is awesome? Not really, but he's a really
- 58:32Speaker 1: good role guy, and I think he could be a
- 58:36Speaker 1: I think the Lakers can I told you I think
- 58:38Speaker 1: they can get there. I do. I stand by it.
- 58:41Speaker 1: But Dylan Brooks sucked awful and he punched Lebron and
- 58:47Speaker 1: the balls or slapped him in the wiener. He was
- 58:50Speaker 1: acting like he was going for a ball because Lebron
- 58:53Speaker 1: was coming up court with it. He was going act
- 58:54Speaker 1: like he was trying to hit the ball. I mean,
- 58:56Speaker 1: it just so happened. He grabbed him right in the
- 58:57Speaker 1: wiener and he twisted and he pinched nobody like he
- 59:05Speaker 1: was going for the ball. But it wasn't. It was
- 59:07Speaker 1: obviously a lot of these players left hitting the nuts
- 59:09Speaker 1: so much. Everybody's not hitting the nuts. You see. Joelle
- 59:12Speaker 1: even kicked out that guy nuts, hard nuts. Everybody's going
- 59:16Speaker 1: full nuts on people. You don't like it when you
- 59:19Speaker 1: get hitting the nuts. Whatever happened to do on to
- 59:21Speaker 1: others is you want to be done to you kick
- 59:23Speaker 1: them in the ankle. Don't kick them in the nuts.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I guess because the ball it looks like you're doing
- 59:27Speaker 1: other things. Yeay, I guess you can try to hide it.
- 59:30Speaker 3: But Dylan Brooks cut him. He cut him underneath the cough.
- 59:37Speaker 1: So after not speaking to the media following his ejection
- 59:39Speaker 1: for hitting Lebron in the mid section see nuts, Dylan
- 59:43Speaker 1: Brooks talked to the media on Sunday and said that
- 59:45Speaker 1: everybody's portraying Hims a villain.
- 59:46Speaker 5: Here you go the media and making me a villain,
- 59:49Speaker 5: the fans and making me a villain, and then that
- 59:53Speaker 5: just creates a whole different persona on me. So now
- 59:57Speaker 5: you think I intended to hit Lebron. Jame was in
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: the midst. I'm playing basketball and basketball player, So if
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: I intended, and that's whatever the whatever is in the
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: fragrant two category of having a fragrant two and you
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: think I did that, that means you think I'm that
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: type of person and you hit.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Him in the nuts.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Also, we flipped out nuts, but I said nuts eleven times?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Did we sliped that out, Mike or do they they did? Oh? Oha,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: got it? Got It's But Dylan Brooks is the villain.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: He's in white sunglasses with his big chain after a
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: game and he's like, yeah, he's going forward. He knows
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: exactly what he's doing. I wish he had just kind
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: of owned it, been like he didn't score forty, Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: they might have beat us. He didn't score forty? Did
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: he like? Embrace it, don't back down from it because
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: it didn't work out for you once. You don't ever
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: see Pat BEV backing down after a situation. He may
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: get beat, he may not play well. You never see
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Pat BEV back down. Zillen Brooks be the villain because
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you're only the villain the teams you're playing. Everybody else
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: thinks it's funny, or they don't like you, or they're
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: annoyed by you, but they forget about it. Your people
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: love it. I was liking it until you back down
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: and don't have people in the nuts nuts. That's does
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: nuts nuts. It's the NBA Playoffs time big hoops action

- 1:01:46Speaker 1: That's right. I gotta take the Lakers again. I got
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: mentioned earlier. They've been thinking about it the whole time.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: The Lakers need to win this in five or six
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: because they're old as crap. Anthony Davis was so good,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: so strong, he would take the ball. He would get
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the rebound, take it all the way down the court himself,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: post score, run back. He would do it all he
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: was point guard and then he post up with his
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: own It's crazy. But every time he'd fall, be like, well,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: that's it for him for the year. Yeah, anytime he
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: could hit it all like, that's it for him for
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the year out of the playoffs. But no, he's right,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: he's still here right now. But how versatile he is,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Like he would sky get the rebound, physically knock people out,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: knock him around, and then take it down court as
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: a point guard, whereas the point center is the point
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: four or five whatever he plays, and then just go
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: into a post. It's like me on two k That's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: why I do a rebound with George Mirason. I think
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: we're in like nineteen ninety seven. Yeah, seven foot seven, Wow,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you have a mirasof back. But you're like, yeah, I

- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I don't know. Last night, Minnesota won one and overtime.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Good for them, they got their one win. They weren't
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: completely shut out because they're about to get run. Phoenix won,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: but it seemed to me like Durant and Booker never
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: came out the court. How many minutes did they play?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Do you know? I would look at the box score
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: from that game. I don't know how Kevin Durant if
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he's playing forty three minutes a game, and I don't
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: know that's what he did. I don't know how they're
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: gonna last. That West is gonna be tough. But they
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: traded off half the bench, at least the good players
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: off the bench over to Brooklyn so they could get Durant.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: But now they don't having a bench, they don't have
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: anybody to put in, so I'm entertained. Everybody's just getting hurt.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Victor Oladipo like tore his patella tendon. I think or
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: had messed up his knee. I've heard a couple different.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I think he's out, but he's also he is old now.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: But between Tyler, Harrow, Jannis, who else has been hurt?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Lebron's nuts? Yeah, Oladipo, Yeah, who? I feel like there
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: have been more than that. What do you got? Do
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: you find the minutes? Yeah, Durant played forty five book
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: forty one. There's no way they cannot last playing that
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: many minutes, not for a seven game series. You'd think
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: they would be able to because they are professional athletes,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: but they're also playing against professional athletes at the same
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: level they were playing at the Y for forty five minutes.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: They probably are. Yeah, but it's a little different there.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: But yeah, it just seems like more star players are
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: getting hurt this playoffs than ever before. The A's bought
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: some land in Vegas for a new ballpark. The A's
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: announced last week they have signed a binding contract for
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: forty nine acres in Las Vegas, where they intend to
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: build a new ballpark for the team. They will change
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: their name to the Las Vegas As. Yeah, I get it.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I would just change the name of the team Toots,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: get away from it, the Vegas corrupt gamblers, the Vegas
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: inside tips. There you go. The project is going to
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: cost one point five billion bucks, leaving half a billion
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: dollars in public funding or whatever else. But it seems
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: like when are they going to move? For a long time,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: we thought they were coming to Nashville. I'm on the
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: board to get a ball team here and we ain't
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: getting a team right now, which suck. Maybe an expansion
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: team if they opened up. I know they will also
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: want to have another Canadian team, but we knew Vegas
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: was gonna get one once Vegas opened. It's then opened.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Yeah when football, you know, Lebron wants a bat NBA
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: team over there. Baseball team's gonna be there. Vegas is
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: gonna have everything because everybody goes to Vegas. I would
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'd put a team in Vegas too. Yeah, they opened
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the fluggates there. The a's LEASA Oakland is up after
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, So if all goes according to plan
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, possibly in Vegas. Anything else. I said
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: there that you guys were frantically looking up because the.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: What you know, was Oladipo drafted.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I feel like that was a long time ago. Yeah,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: twenty thirteen. Yeah, twenty thirteen, second overall pick. Maybe that's
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: what it was. I remember him being a second overall pick.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: If I remember correctly, you can read me those picks.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's good from that twenty thirteen draft.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I haven't looked at this in forever, but that draft,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and I could be completely wrong, but go one down
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: to ten.
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: Well, one of the biggest number one, Anthony Bennett bust
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: go ahead, and then Victor Oladipo. Okay, fine, fine, yeah
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: he I mean he started his career great, Yeah, anyway
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: to Auto Porter Junior, Cody Zeller, Alex Lynn Nerlin's know, well,
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: I do a Kentucky Is he still playing?
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: No?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Traded for Philadelphia amateur?
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: No?
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Go ahead? Ben Macklemore remember has sung thrift shop? Yeah?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Conavia is called a little Pope. Okay, but yeah, go ahead,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Trey Burt. Is there anybody that drafted all that didn't
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: call him? There we go? Number ten?
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Okay, who do you have anybody after that?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Steven Adams?
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: Yes, absolutely, yeah, he's been around. Kelly Olnick, Okay, yes, Oh, Joannis.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, what a draft.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Everybody's wucked out front and one of the best at
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: fifteen anybody else Rudy Gobert down to the bottom twenty seven?
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Love to love Gobert, I love go because I hate him. Eybody'
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: annoyed by him? All Right, that's it. Thank you to
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: everybody in the whole world. Thanks for listening to this.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I have nothing else to say. I just saw Chris
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Kraba from Dashboard Confessionals booked on the show. On the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: radio show, It's cool. Nice, Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: Huh.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: We we gonna get Adam Durrett. You think we were supposed
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to have him?
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: That?
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: That was the saddest email I ever had to send you. Yeah,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Adam Dirtz was coming to my house. Yeah, to do
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a bobbycast for an hour. I love Counting Crows. He
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: loved him a whole lot, favorite band. And then he
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: got no, he didn't somebody in the band got COVID.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: But they're gonna do some sort of show here in August,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: because I saw it posted at the Opera House, and
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: so I was like, let's see if we can get him.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I'd be cool.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: But I hear like his interviews. I mean, I've heard
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: him be interviewed.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I feel like he doesn't love being interviewed, and he
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: almost never plays an interview. But maybe we just say
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: it's an interview and I just talked to him, ask
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: him questions, but we don't record it. Yeah, that'd be fun,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Chris cra thatould be cool.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Did you like dashboard? I did, yeah, yeah, both of
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: you guys. You didn't, Mike I did, Oh yeah, I
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: was okay, and you did kind of yeah.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Read you even know what dashboard is? Not a clue, Okay,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: it's that thing in your car where you put your
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: insurance last.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Week or I have fifteen different inturances in there from expired.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: That's exactly what it is, all right, Final thoughts, let's go, Kevin,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: it's going to Pittsburgh.
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: Pirates Drew Maggie thirteen year career in the Miners and
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: he finally made his debut. Made like, that's pretty dang
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: cool to stick around that long. I think was thirty
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: three years old and he's still playing in the Miners.
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: Finally got his call up and cool because he got
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: drafted by the Pirates, originally been bounced around for thirteen
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: years and then he makes his debut with the Pirates.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Pretty cool. I saw Murray coming off the court after
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Atlanta lost and he got into the face of the referee.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: He's like, I mean, right at him. After the game's over.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: They bumped him. Yeah, like head butt thrust, but not
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: a head butt, like he went in hard and bumped him.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I don't know what he said. I know the league's
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: investigating it, and I know things are tense, things are hot.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I get it, But after a game, there's there's only
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: nothing you can do to make your situation better.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: Just get off the court. Don't be an idiot.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: It's not like the Hawks are gonna do much anyway,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: but it probably spend it early next season. But there's
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: no need. Nothing is happening. If it happens in a game,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: it still shouldn't happen. But at least I understand you're
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: like in the middle of a battle here of the
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: moment kind of thing. The game's over, nothing's been don't
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: be a douche, so douche of the day, that's it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I mean, Trey Young was voted most overrated player by
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the players in the NBA. He's so hard to speak
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: into the Hawks, I know, so hard to walk I
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: know read yeah, final thought. Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: So this weekend I was going to see my girlfriend
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: and I realized I pass a PGA superstore every time,
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: so I had to make a stop there. And that
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: place is incredible. It's literally like a Walmart for golf.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: I was wondering if y'all ever been to one?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I haven't. Where was it? It was in Birmingham? You
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: driving in Louisiana? Got it? Yep? No, I haven't, but
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I would go if I saw one. They are that's
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: if I was by myself. That's one of my wife
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: probablyuldn't go. So like, I ain't going to the crab.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, yeah, madd He was like, what's taking
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: you so long?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: So I was just getting a guy? Uh, sir, did
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: you get some stuff? No? No, I didn't. You didn't
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: get anything. I didn't get anything.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: I'm broke after getting those clothes.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I was just teasing.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Then.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I know, you shouldn't spend all your money on golf
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: clubs where you can't buy food. That's how you know
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: a comfortable, too expensive breath.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I know I'm trying to you know, I'm trying to
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: win an amateur one day. You know, when do they
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: come in.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: It said two weeks from last Tuesday, so week or
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: so yeah, uh, Cavin and I fitting got moved back
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: a week. And then Jim nance text me again and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: said he heard the segment where I was talking about
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: him not being able to get a country club is
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: like not allowing Kobe to play basketball to why and
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: he was like genius, awesome, man, we get Jim Nansen here.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: It's going to be a four hour show. And he's like, man,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: this show's a long one. Yeah, no, Jim, every shows
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: four hours, trust me, it's all this is every show.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: So we appreciate you sitting here. So, oh you guys,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: have a great day. We will see you later on
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: this week. Follow at twenty five whistles because I told
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: read every thousand followers that that Instagram gets, I give

- 1:12:27Speaker 3: I feel like, should like donate that money or something.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: No, that's don't you literally work. You needed to go
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: to the PGA. Yeah, yeah, you can't eat right now?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: That is fair. Right now, it's at you need about
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: three hundred and forty seven more to get your first
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: hundred bucks.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Okay, all right, come on, people, you.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Heard them go on, people, come on people, all right.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I don't think I ever bluwed the whistle lane did I?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: And let's build the whistle out all right? Thank you?
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: That's it by Everybody.
