SPEAKER_00: Hulindaf Kufyud Has and we're gonna start with left off yes today.
• 0:03
SPEAKER_00: Um seven lines from the bottom of Kufjud Chas Madveis.
• 0:06
SPEAKER_00: Continuing along in the sugazvere of Tumavatira, specifically yadbais and shamanim, what's a yad?
• 0:10
SPEAKER_00: The yad is something that's attached to the food that you would hold.
• 0:13
SPEAKER_00: That yad you would hold the stem or whatever it is to help you handle the food.
• 0:17
SPEAKER_00: Does that is that mistar for the tom of tirah?
• 0:19
  SPEAKER_00: That's a yad.
• 0:20
SPEAKER_00: A shoimer is something that you wouldn't necessarily hold you know to handle the food, but it's rather it's shoimer the food, like skin is to the meat, like appeal is to the apple or whatever it is.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_00: So that's the difference between yad and a sham.
• 0:32
SPEAKER_00: And with that, we start off with Allah from Rav.
• 0:34
SPEAKER_00: Omar Rav, ain y'ad the Bakhsmiq Zayez.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_00: You don't have a yad if it's attached to food that's less than a zayez.
• 0:41
  SPEAKER_00: That's Allah a Rav saying.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_00: That if the piece of meat that the yad is attached to is less than a kazayz, it doesn't have a kazayz by itself, then ain yah the bakhsmichiz is not gonna be mistarf to the shir.
• 0:51
  SPEAKER_00: What does that mean?
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: Even if there's other pieces of meat that it can be mistarf with, no, the exact piece of meat that's attached to this yad has to have a kazayz onto its own.
• 1:00
  SPEAKER_00: Fain shaymal's micabol.
• 1:02
SPEAKER_00: Additionally, as it relates to a shamir, the same Allah is a plu uh is true in uh just uh smaller sense that in shamel of the Bakazmi Kabul, shamer is only considered a shamer, it can only be it can only become tame, meaning if you touch that shamer ali day, this thing, it can only become tame if the piece of meat it's attached to is a full kazayez.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: But if it's only kazayez, once it's midstaff with other things going on, if the piece that's attached to the shimer itself is not his eyes, you're gonna have a problem.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_00: You're not gonna have a problem, it's actually just not gonna become tame.
• 1:29
SPEAKER_00: Says the gimor of Rabbiekna.
• 1:31
SPEAKER_00: Rabbiachan argues, Yeshia the Bachazmi Kazai, theeshama the Bach's Mikapal.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_00: Rabbiachan says, No, yeshy the Bakazmichazai.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_00: If the peat, if the piece that the yad is attached to is less than his eyes, there are other things that could be mid starved to, no problem.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: And therefore it could, you are gonna have it's considered a yad.
• 1:46
  SPEAKER_00: It could become tame.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: Also shame, yesham of the bakaznikapol.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: Says my baseball, ask you kasha, unrav, and we're gonna see this uh Bryce who we bring.
• 1:53
  SPEAKER_00: Really goes both ways.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna see both sheet, it's Rav and R Bechnan, and we're gonna choose to ask on Rav for some reason.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: But equally, we could have asked on R Bechnan as well, if you're following the Shakavatari here.
• 2:02
  SPEAKER_00: Either way, Meswe.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_00: R Base At Samais, you have two bones.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: A bone is uh, well, we're gonna see soon.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_00: Is it considered a shimer?
• 2:08
SPEAKER_00: Is it considered a yad?
• 2:09
SPEAKER_00: It could be considered both, really, because you could handle the meat by holding the by holding the bone, so that's a yad.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_00: And you it's also shimer sometimes the meat inside of it.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_00: You have bone marrow, different things, so it could be a yad and a shimer.
• 2:19
  SPEAKER_00: We're gonna discuss in a second.
• 2:20
SPEAKER_00: But either way bez at samas balain, bez katsoi zasim.
• 2:23
SPEAKER_00: You have, we're talking about a dead body over here that's metame be oil.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_00: But we know that you need a kazayas in order to be metame be oil.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: So you have two bones, and on them, balein, bez katsoi zasim, you have two half zazim.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_00: On one bone you have a half azayas of basar of the flesh, and on the other, uh, on the other etzem, you have half azayas of basar.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: And you put both ends of them into the bay.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: So not the piece of meat, not the kazais itself, because the kazais of busar would be with stuff in a second.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_00: But you put the yaddois, that's what you put.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_00: You put the bone itself, not the piece of meat, you put the yaddois into a house.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_00: And the house is now it's uh it's mild.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_00: There's oil on top of it, there's calam in the house, maybe people in the house, abai's tame, everything in the house is gonna be tame, that's she tastanakama.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_00: What does that sound like on first glance?
• 3:13
SPEAKER_00: Very much like uh Rabbi Echnan.
• 3:16
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 3:16
SPEAKER_00: Because Rabbi Echnan said, Yesh Yad the Pokemasmika's eyes.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: You could have a yad, pakhasmika's eyes.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: This is pakasmika's, that the piece onto it on its own.
• 3:22
  SPEAKER_00: That's what it meant.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_00: Ayn Rashji, it's not that it can be mitzvah to Gazay's.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_00: If the piece the yad is actually attached to is less than a full zyas, I don't care that it's being mitzvaf with other things to form a zyas.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: Since that piece on its own is not a full zyas, it's not going to be mitzarif.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_00: That's Raby Echnan that ain't yad the that yes y'all the bakus makized.
• 3:40
  SPEAKER_00: That was Rap, sorry.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_00: And Rubi Echnan says, Yeshad the Bakaz Miz.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_00: Even if it's less than the Kazai, it's gonna be okay.
• 3:44
  SPEAKER_00: So what is it?
• 3:46
SPEAKER_00: Even though each one is less than a Zayas onto its own?
• 3:48
SPEAKER_00: That's clearly, it very much sounds like Rubichnan.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_00: Either way, a bias tummy.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_00: That's the tanakama of this Bryce.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_00: So you debine a kuslaimer, he says, Mishum Rabiyaka, even the name of Rabiyaka, Heyashnea, some is mitzv and the kazais.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_00: How could two bones that don't have a kazayas of basar on them individually, how could they be mitzariv to a kazayas?
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: What does that sound like?
• 4:05
SPEAKER_00: That very much sounds like Rav.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_00: Rav says that ain't yad the pochos mi kaza'is.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: You can't have a yad on if the piece of meat it's attached to on its own is less than a kazayas.
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: So over here too, Yuduman Khuz is saying, how can two bones be mitzariv to a kazais?
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: Each one on its own doesn't have enough, each one on its own doesn't have a Zay.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: So it very much seems like one is like Rav, one is like Rbi Echaran.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: And that seems to be the machlikas over here.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_00: Whether you could be mitzariv, chatsi, uh two chatzi zasim, uh, that each have their own yaddois, or if every yad needs to be attached to a full khazai, that seems to be the machelikas over here.
• 4:36
SPEAKER_00: And it very much seems like one is going like a rav and one is going like Rabbi Echan, but the Gamar chooses to ask on Rav.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_00: And the way the Gemar is gonna ask it is Vir Rav, hi bimkumla.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_00: What's Rav gonna do with this brais uh?
• 4:46
  SPEAKER_00: Ibiyad kasha raisha.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: If he's gonna tell you it's talking about yaddois, because again, we said the bone can be either a yad or a shimmer.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: So if he's gonna tell you that we're talking about a yad, then kasha raisha.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_00: The raisha is a kasha, why?
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_00: What was the raisha?
• 4:56
SPEAKER_00: The raisha is otherwise known in the brais as the tanakama.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_00: So the tanakama is the ratio of you them in the kusa is the sefa.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_00: So if you're gonna tell me that it's talking about a yad, so the raisha is a kasha, why?
• 5:05
SPEAKER_00: Because the raisha, what did the tanakama say?
• 5:07
SPEAKER_00: That they're gonna be mitstarif and the bias is gonna be tame.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_00: Why is the bias gonna be tame?
• 5:11
SPEAKER_00: Rav said, ain't yad the bakhusmika's eyes?
• 5:13
SPEAKER_00: Each one over here in this case that's bakhumikazai.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: So the tanakama is saying it's midstar.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: Rav said it's not midstar.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: So if you're gonna tell me it's a yad, kasha raisha, then I have the problem.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: The tanakama doesn't stimulate that.
• 5:22
SPEAKER_00: If you've a shamer, and if you're gonna tell me that it's talking about shaimer, that this bone is a scheimer, that's the topic, then kasha sefa.
• 5:28
  SPEAKER_00: The sefa's a kasha.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_00: Why is the sefa a kasha?
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: Because Rabinaman Accusa said in the Seifa that how are they both being mitzarif to form uh kazais?
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: How do you have such a thing?
• 5:38
SPEAKER_00: Why is that a kasha or Rav?
• 5:39
SPEAKER_00: Because Rav said in Shoimer, Le Pochasmi ka pull.
• 5:43
SPEAKER_00: Pull was uh it's like a bean, right?
• 5:45
SPEAKER_00: So that's much a much smaller shear.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: So even if you have a Hatsi Zai Sabasar on each one, then Hatsi Zai Sabasar is more than a pull.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_00: So even Rav would agree over here that it should be Mithamis.
• 5:53
SPEAKER_00: So Run Menakusa, that's saying in the end that it's not Mitharv and it's not gonna be Mithama the house, that's not like Rav.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_00: So says the Gemara, how is Rav gonna stim with his bride?
• 6:01
SPEAKER_00: So if we're trying to make Rav work like everyone, that's basically the avoid of the Gemar.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_00: We're trying to make Rav work with both the Tanakama and the Runakusa, but he obviously only works with one, and that's why we're asking it as a Kasha.
• 6:11
SPEAKER_00: If this bone that we're talking about is a yad, then Kasha Risha, then the Tanakama doesn't stim with Rav.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_00: And if this bone is considered a shamer, then the safely Rebunaminakusa doesn't stim with Rav.
• 6:22
SPEAKER_00: Because Rav would say that should be Metama, and Rabunakusa said it doesn't, it says the Gemara, says the Gemara, Iba isimabi shimmer, Iba isimabiyad.
• 6:29
SPEAKER_00: Really I can tell you that either it's not a shamer or it's talking meta yad.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_00: Iba samabiad, Uda Marke Rebinaminakusa.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_00: On the tsad it's a yad, very good.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_00: Who's he gonna say like Yunaminakusa?
• 6:39
  SPEAKER_00: We know this already.
• 6:39
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 6:40
SPEAKER_00: Because Yunakusa said it's not gonna be midstar.
• 6:42
SPEAKER_00: If he holds it's a yad, that's what Rav said, that in yad the pox make a Zayas, and that's what Rabinakusa said in the Brice saw.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_00: That how is it gonna be Midstar if it's each less than a Zayas?
• 6:50
SPEAKER_00: So that's why, if it's not yad, you're right, he's not going like Tanakama, but he's going like Yudaminakusa.
• 6:54
  SPEAKER_00: Viva Sayima.
• 6:55
SPEAKER_00: Mishimer, or you could answer that Rav is talk that the Bryce is talking about a shamer, this bone is considered a shamer.
• 7:02
SPEAKER_00: And he says like the Tanakama that it is going to be Metame this house over here.
• 7:06
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 7:07
SPEAKER_00: Because even Rav said himself that a shaimer only needs a pull.
• 7:10
SPEAKER_00: And each one over here is a chatiz, which is more than a pull.
• 7:12
SPEAKER_00: So of course, like the tanakama, the bais is gonna be tamay over here.
• 7:14
  SPEAKER_00: Rabbi'echanan.
• 7:15
  SPEAKER_00: What about Rabiachan?
• 7:16
SPEAKER_00: So the Gamar is not asking it as a kashan Rabiakan.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_00: The Gumar just says straight up uh to the final point.
• 7:20
SPEAKER_00: What Rabbi Echunan would say?
• 7:22
SPEAKER_00: Rabi's gonna tell you the Bryce is talking about a yadguer and kitana kama.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, the it Rabbi'echan is gonna be going like the Tanakhama if he says it's a yad, because Rabbi'echnun said yesh yad the pochas make a zayas, and the tanakama over here that even though it's a yad and it's each one is less than a zay, it still held the vice with tame.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, Rabbi Echanan would go like that.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_00: Rabbi Echanan that said it doesn't have to be a Zayas onto itself.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_00: It says the gmar Tashma ask you tash Riyuda Immer.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_00: So we're getting up on Rav over here.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna fire away on Rav.
• 7:48
  SPEAKER_00: Tashma.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_00: Ribuda imir Rebuh says Kulis, which is a thigh bone.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_00: Shayish alao kazais, that has on it a kazay's busser.
• 7:55
  SPEAKER_00: It's attached to a kazay's busser.
• 7:59
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's sheetas tanakama.
• 8:01
  SPEAKER_00: That's sheetas Rabbihuda.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_00: Achairamrim, otherwise known as Ravmeir, who's Rabihuda's Bob Pulukta, so it's very natural over here.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_00: So Ribuda says Gera's kula litama.
• 8:10
SPEAKER_00: Achim Remeir says that Afilu inalakapul, even if you don't have, you only have a pull on it, Gareh's kula litama.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: Says Gamara, what's Rav going to do with this price?
• 8:21
SPEAKER_00: So Rav Haibama, what are we talking about here?
• 8:24
SPEAKER_00: This uh kulis, this thigh bone, is it a yad or a sham?
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: Ibiyad, if it's uh talking about a yad, then kasha sefa, then the seifa's gonna be a kasha on Rav.
• 8:31
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 8:31
SPEAKER_00: Because in the sefa, what did Achhiram say?
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: Achim said, even if it's just a pull, what did Rav say?
• 8:35
SPEAKER_00: Rav said it's in Yad the Bahamas, it has to be at least Kazaiz.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: Ibi Shoimir if it's talking about a shamir.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_00: If this coolis is a shaman, then kasha rasha.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_00: Then the raisha is a kasha, why?
• 8:43
SPEAKER_00: Because it's not a ka because uh because uh Rabyuda said that it has to be a kazayas.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: So what's going on over here?
• 8:48
SPEAKER_00: So again, we're trying to make Rav stim in both sheetah over here, but we're gonna answer that you're right.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_00: He could only stim in one of the sheetas.
• 8:53
SPEAKER_00: So it's like my Ibay sam of yad, if you want to tell me that the coolist is considered a yad, then he would be going like a Rabbi Huda that says it needs a Zaias, because ain't Yad the Bakus make a Zayus, but as long as it's attached to a full Zayas, you're good to go.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_00: And if you want to tell me that this coolist is considered a shamer, then you would be going like a chairem who says, like a chairem who said what that that a filu inola alaka pull, even if it only has a pull on it, then it's still going to be metamid of here.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_00: So that's Rab, what he said by Shaimer, that ain't Yad le Pach Mika pul, says the Gemar of Rabbi Echanan, Omar, Rabi Echnan says, Bishimir, Rabbi Echnan says really talking about a shamir vudamar karachim.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_00: Rabbi Echnan says that Kula Bashaimir, the entire thing is talking about a shamir vudamar kiachim, and Rabbi Echanan's gonna be going like a chair.
• 9:39
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 9:40
SPEAKER_00: Because again, Ra Rubiachan argued on Rab in the bottom of Kutfid Chasmadais that we learned in the beginning of the daaf, and Rabbi'echalan said, Yesyad the pochiz.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_00: The Yeshyad, what did Rabbi Echnan say?
• 9:50
SPEAKER_00: It's important for the next step, Yesh Yad Yes Shoimir Lepochmikapul.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeshyyad the Pochemikazai, and Yes Shoimir Lepochul.
• 9:58
SPEAKER_00: That's what Rabbi Echanan said.
• 9:59
SPEAKER_00: That even less than a pull, it could be considered a shamer.
• 10:01
SPEAKER_00: So says the gumar Rabjaichanan that holds that, he's gonna say that really the entire thing is talking about a shamer, and he's gonna go like Akhirim.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_00: Achhirim that said, even if it only had a pull, what's the problem?
• 10:10
SPEAKER_00: Because says the gumar, achirim how kippul, kamri.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_00: It's not the same thing, it's not the same sheep as Rabbichan.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_00: Akhirim said, even if it had only a pole, right?
• 10:19
  SPEAKER_00: To read it inside.
• 10:19
SPEAKER_00: Achhiram Irim, Afilu in a law elakipul.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_00: What does that sound like?
• 10:22
SPEAKER_00: Less than a pole already, not only specifically a pole.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_00: And what Rabbiakan said, Rabiah, what did Rabbi Akhan said?
• 10:28
SPEAKER_00: Rabiachan said, Aphilu yeshad lepochas mik.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: How is Rabiachan gonna still stim over here?
• 10:41
SPEAKER_00: With Sheetah Sachirim, if you're telling me it's talking about a shamer, and it says the Gemara, really it's Lav Dafkar.
• 10:46
SPEAKER_00: Really it is the same Sheetah but it's Lav Dafka.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: I did the Kamar Tanakama Shiura because the Tanakhama said a shir of a kazayas.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: Kamri inunamishura, so so too.
• 10:54
SPEAKER_00: Akirim, Tanakama was rebudo, right?
• 10:56
SPEAKER_00: So you can say kazayes.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_00: So Akhirim came along and said also sheer, which was kippul, but kipul was just to emphasize something small, like a bean.
• 11:03
  SPEAKER_00: It was lav Dafka.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_00: It wasn't to say kipul and not smaller than pul.
• 11:06
SPEAKER_00: He just meant the same sheet as Rabbi Akhan said in the beginning that even pakasmi kapol, yesh shamer the pochsmi kapol.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_00: Ama Rabba, Rabba said Deikonami, the Bishamerskin.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_00: I could also be I could show you it's very midduyic in the Brahso that we're talking about a shamer and a not a yad.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_00: Why deqtani kulis?
• 11:19
SPEAKER_00: Shmarina, because we're talking about a coolis.
• 11:21
SPEAKER_00: And I guess if you know what a coolist is and you know the background, then it makes more sense that it's a shamer because a coolis is a thigh bone.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_00: A thigh bone is considered a shamer to a certain extent, and therefore it makes a lot of sense that we're talking about a uh a shimer over here.
• 11:31
SPEAKER_00: Says sort of like this.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_00: Ribchanina omaribanina says zahushir.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_00: This that this shir that we said in a chairin, that even if it's just like kippull, which we said a second ago was lab dafka, Ribchanina said zahu shir.
• 11:44
SPEAKER_00: That's actually the shear, meaning it is dafka.
• 11:52
SPEAKER_00: It's not a shear, meaning it's lab dafka, and we only said it's stamps.
• 11:55
SPEAKER_00: Same question we had before.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_00: It's not considered a sheer of Khatani.
• 11:57
  SPEAKER_00: We said kipul.
• 11:58
SPEAKER_00: What do you mean it's not a shear?
• 11:59
SPEAKER_00: We literally said that in the Brahso.
• 12:00
SPEAKER_00: And so the Gemara, same answer.
• 12:01
SPEAKER_00: I'd to come at Tanakama Shiura, Kamri Inunami Shira, because the Tanakhama said a very specific shir.
• 12:05
SPEAKER_00: So so to in the Seifa, Achinrim said a sheer, but he was just trying to bring out anything.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_00: So he said kippul, but he didn't mean he didn't mean a dafka, and it was still Lav Dafka, says the Gemora Biter.
• 12:25
SPEAKER_00: We're talking about the the the thing that is around the pole, the bean.
• 12:29
SPEAKER_00: So the bean comes with like a husk, whatever you want to call it around it.
• 12:32
  SPEAKER_00: It's klipah.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_00: So he's mitar mishel pull.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_00: If it's the husk of a pole, which is bigger than a kittness, we're gonna see in a second.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: He's metame the husk, the klipa of that.
• 12:44
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 12:44
SPEAKER_00: Mipnesha right's a bimashmish, because you want to use that.
• 12:47
SPEAKER_00: What's the difference between these things?
• 12:49
SPEAKER_00: The difference is that a pull is much larger.
• 12:50
SPEAKER_00: A pull you're able to grasp and you're able to hold without holding the klipa necessarily.
• 12:54
SPEAKER_00: A kitness is much smaller, and therefore you want the klipa, and you want the husk, whatever this is, because it's easier to handle in your hands.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, what do we see over here?
• 13:01
SPEAKER_00: We see clearly either a pull or a or a what's it called, or for sure, kidnas.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_00: Is that less than a uh Zyas?
• 13:09
SPEAKER_00: Of course it's less than a Zyas, and therefore, we're rather sorry.
• 13:12
SPEAKER_00: If it's a shimmer over here, this is considered a shimmer, it's not considered a yeah.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_00: If it's a shimmer, still it's less than a pull.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_00: A kidnas is less than a pull.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_00: And if you're gonna tell me that Rabalazubna Zarya was mitame beshaokitness, he's mitame the clipa of a kidness which is smaller than a pole, then this is a cash on Rav who said, Ain't shimmer the poch's me ka pole.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_00: Because a kittness is of sure for sure less than a pole, and on its own, this little piece is gonna be mitame, says Nigemara, it's a kashan rav.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: It's the gimar, canomar of Achar Braidar Rav, but kulcha, just like Rabbach Braid Rav said about something else.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_00: We're not talking about one little kittness by itself.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_00: We're talking about a whole kulcha, a whole uh kelach, a whole stalk of it, which together can be a kazayas, umishum yad, and also we're not talking about shamirba, we're talking about a yad.
• 13:52
SPEAKER_00: If we're talking about the stalk, it's something you handle, and therefore it's considered a yad and not a shamir.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_00: What's the shear for yad?
• 13:57
SPEAKER_00: Didn't you make things worse just now?
• 13:58
SPEAKER_00: Because our kasha was this is even smaller than a pole.
• 14:01
SPEAKER_00: You just changed it to yad.
• 14:02
SPEAKER_00: What's the shear for a yad according to Rav?
• 14:04
SPEAKER_00: Kazaias, it's much bigger than a pole.
• 14:05
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, did you help things over here?
• 14:07
SPEAKER_00: Now the answer is yes, because we mom just jumped to the highest shear just now because when you added in a whole stalk, that actually is bigger than a zyas.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_00: So that answered your question.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, your question was we're talking about a kidnas which is less than a pole, which is not gonna stim with Rav's haloch about a shoinger that it can't be less than a pole.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_00: You're right, we're not talking about one individual kidney, we're talking about a whole stalk of them.
• 14:25
  SPEAKER_00: If it's a whole stalk, it's talking about a yad.
• 14:26
SPEAKER_00: Rab's shear just went up to a kazais, yeah, but it's okay because the the the the this uh kellach is larger than a zais itself.
• 14:34
SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm gonna answer over here.
• 14:35
  SPEAKER_00: But mishum yad.
• 14:37
  SPEAKER_00: Uh maybe mashmishon.
• 14:38
SPEAKER_00: So just to clarify one word that makes more sense about shamer, mashmishon would be a shamer.
• 14:42
SPEAKER_00: You want to kind of use it, but tashmishon.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_00: Tashmishon would make more sense if you're talking about a yad.
• 14:46
SPEAKER_00: You want to use it for your tashmish to handle this uh this uh stock, and therefore, that's what's going on over here.
• 14:53
SPEAKER_00: Not a kasha on Raf.
• 14:56
  SPEAKER_00: Tanun Rabishmal.
• 14:57
  SPEAKER_00: Al Kozarazirua.
• 14:58
  SPEAKER_00: We learned this, right?
• 14:58
SPEAKER_00: Kidar Shibnea Adamatian, chita biklabasa, but's riyah.
• 15:01
  SPEAKER_00: That's what we saw.
• 15:02
  SPEAKER_00: Bachadzin.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_00: This was the mikar that we learned from Thanal.
• 15:09
SPEAKER_00: That a shoimer is mitstarifoma.
• 15:12
  SPEAKER_00: What was the mikkar?
• 15:13
SPEAKER_00: Al Kozar Zirua, the same way you plant it, the Zria.
• 15:17
  SPEAKER_00: That what?
• 15:18
SPEAKER_00: The same way you plant the khitah along with its klipah the sa'i, the barley along with its klipah that from the beans along with their klipa.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, what do we see over here?
• 15:25
SPEAKER_00: We see over there that each one independently is can be mitame.
• 15:29
  SPEAKER_00: What's going on?
• 15:29
SPEAKER_00: Each one independently can be mitame.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_00: These things can be even pachasmi kippul.
• 15:33
SPEAKER_00: The klipa's a shimer on the thing, and many of these things are less than a bean size.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_00: They're pakasmi kapul, and therefore what?
• 15:40
SPEAKER_00: Therefore, we see that you could have a sheer of tama onto its own yesh shy pachasmi kapul.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_00: Kashanrav, who said ain't shamel of the phasmi kapul, it has to be minimum shirapul.
• 15:49
SPEAKER_00: And so the Gemara berya shani.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_00: Something that's a berrier onto its own.
• 15:53
  SPEAKER_00: It's one piece.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_00: You're going, you're planting this thing, it's one piece, that's ready, shani.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_00: That could even be less.
• 15:58
  SPEAKER_00: Not necessarily Kashan Rav.
• 15:59
SPEAKER_00: You could tell me that Rav was talking about things that aren't necessarily a barrier.
• 16:01
SPEAKER_00: Says, the Gemara Baribashiar Bashi has the following Shne Shaimrin Mausheit Starfu.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_00: Can two shamrin beam itsarif to to the food inside of it to make the kabeza that you need over here of Toma.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_00: So Shne Shamar Maush Tarfu Echam.
• 16:19
SPEAKER_00: What exactly are we talking about?
• 16:20
  SPEAKER_00: Elima Bizal Gavza.
• 16:21
SPEAKER_00: If we're talking about where the sham are one on top of the other, it's a picture of onion, right?
• 16:24
SPEAKER_00: You have an onion and you have a few klipas, one on top of the other.
• 16:27
SPEAKER_00: So if we're talking about that, is that such a thing possible?
• 16:31
SPEAKER_00: Do you have a shamar on top of a shamer?
• 16:33
  SPEAKER_00: You don't.
• 16:33
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 16:33
SPEAKER_00: Because we're gonna use the onion example.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: Vatnan, we have a Mishnah in Uktsin.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_00: We're learning heavy uktzin so far in the past few days.
• 16:41
SPEAKER_00: So Vatanan we have a Mishnah Uksin.
• 16:42
SPEAKER_00: Abudam reviewed it says, Shalish klepas babato.
• 16:45
SPEAKER_00: There are three klipas on an onion.
• 16:46
SPEAKER_00: Premis, the most inner klipah, bein shlema bin kedura mitstarefis.
• 16:51
SPEAKER_00: Whether it is full and it's intact, or it has holes in it, kedura, you uh poked holes in it, mitzvarafis is still gonna be mitzarif because that most inner one is considered a scheimer.
• 16:59
SPEAKER_00: Mitzarifis basically means it has the din of a scheimer that it's gonna be mitzarif to form the shear of a kabezah that you need for tomorrow.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_00: And so I said, What about the middle one?
• 17:07
SPEAKER_00: Shlema mitzarefis, kedura in mitzarefis.
• 17:10
SPEAKER_00: If it's full intact, then it's going to be mitzarif to this shear because it's considered a shamer.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_00: If it's kedura, if it's got if it's punctured, then it's not gonna be a shamer.
• 17:19
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 17:19
SPEAKER_00: Because if it's breached, then it's not a scheimer anymore, right?
• 17:21
SPEAKER_00: It's not guarding anything if it's breached.
• 17:23
SPEAKER_00: And that's why the outer one, bain kahobain kahtaira, it's not a shamer bakhlal, and therefore it's tar across the board.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_00: But what do we see?
• 17:29
SPEAKER_00: We should clearly see that the outer layer is not considered a shimmer.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, if you already have a shamer on the inside, ain't shamer al-Gabi Shimer, you can have a shimmer algabi shimmer.
• 17:36
SPEAKER_00: So as a gimmar, let's clarify what Rabisha meant.
• 17:38
SPEAKER_00: Ribishia shamer oichel shechalku, comi by lebish's question was different.
• 17:43
SPEAKER_00: Rebech, Rabesh's question was if you had food and you split it in half, and each one had its own shimer, but now you don't have a full Zayus.
• 17:51
SPEAKER_00: Now you don't have a full Zayus on.
• 17:52
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 17:52
SPEAKER_00: Because uh because you cut it in half, and therefore his question was can half a scheimer be mitzarif?
• 17:58
SPEAKER_00: Even if half that shamer is only being Megan, it's only protecting half that thing, because now you cut it in half.
• 18:03
SPEAKER_00: Basically the question is, can half of a shamer be mitzarif even though it's not protecting the full unit, or even though it's not being Megan on the entire thing?
• 18:12
  SPEAKER_00: That's his question.
• 18:13
SPEAKER_00: That came in the highly mega since each side is not protecting each other, it's only protecting its own half.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_00: The highly making a high loy mitzarf is not gonna be mitzvah, demor, or maybe came in the high mega high mega mitstarf, since that's protecting its side, and the other one is protecting the other side.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: So it is gonna be mitzarf.
• 18:28
  SPEAKER_00: That was Ribishia's question.
• 18:29
SPEAKER_00: Tashma, I'll bring you a ray, Rebelazman Azar Matar, Metam Bashul Kittness, Ribbazmanazarya was mitahir as it relates to the clipah of a pole, but he's metame by the clipa of a kidnas, and why?
• 18:41
  SPEAKER_00: What's the difference again?
• 18:41
SPEAKER_00: Because echitness, you want that there, you want it to be able to handle, it's much smaller, it's harder to hold, and therefore you want that clipa masha in kin with pull, it's much bigger, it's easier to handle.
• 18:49
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, what do we see over here?
• 18:50
SPEAKER_00: It's too small onto its own.
• 18:52
SPEAKER_00: So obviously, this is the anacha we're making.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we're talking about a few shamrim that are being mitstarved together.
• 18:59
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: Because it's way too small onto its own to have any shakhs over here.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_00: So obviously, we're talking about a few shamrem being mit starved together.
• 19:06
  SPEAKER_00: Answers your question.
• 19:06
SPEAKER_00: Of course, a few sham can be even starve together.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_00: Even if half is over here and half of over there, and they're each protecting their own, a few shrymm can be mistrived together.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_00: That was just the end of the brainstell.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_00: But I'm Rabaham Ray Drava, Bekoch, Mishum Yad, Maimashmish, Metashmisha.
• 19:19
SPEAKER_00: Same answer we had before.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_00: That really we're not talking about individual little tiny pieces of kitness.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_00: We're talking about we're talking about one big kelach.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_00: Once you're really talking about one big stock, then once you're handling the stock, you're picking it up by the stem.
• 19:31
  SPEAKER_00: That's already considered a yad, not a shimer.
• 19:33
SPEAKER_00: The shear, according to the Rav, jumps up to a kazayas.
• 19:37
SPEAKER_00: But you have a kazayas because you have a full kelach over here, which is gonna group together uh with a kazayas and the proper word if you're talking about a yad, it's bitashmish.
• 19:45
SPEAKER_00: And you're right, said bitashmish, and you want to handle that stock.
• 19:49
SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna tash my ask another cash in the thundermary bishma, alko Zera Zerua.
• 19:52
  SPEAKER_00: Sharis are right.
• 19:53
SPEAKER_00: So what did we learn from there?
• 19:54
SPEAKER_00: Again, we had this on the manala.
• 19:55
SPEAKER_00: Kidar Shminatiya and the Zriya.
• 19:57
SPEAKER_00: This was the Mikar, the shamrim are mitzaref.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_00: So Kidarchman the Zriya, same way you would plant.
• 20:04
SPEAKER_00: What's that question over here?
• 20:05
SPEAKER_00: The question is, again, we're making the same anachi.
• 20:08
SPEAKER_00: You probably were mitzarif a bunch of these clipas, a bunch of these shamrim together.
• 20:12
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 20:12
SPEAKER_00: Because each one onto its own is way less than a pull.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_00: And therefore, you probably mitzaraf them together.
• 20:17
SPEAKER_00: Answers are right sh's question, then of course you can be mitzarif a bunch of uh shamrim together for the form of the shear that you need.
• 20:22
  SPEAKER_00: So answers the game.
• 20:28
SPEAKER_00: The same way we had the answer before from Ramachabread Rava.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_00: That we're talking about really a kuchum ishumyad, that we're not talking about a shamer bakhava because we're talking about the whole stock.
• 20:34
SPEAKER_00: So to over here with shadra, we're talking about one big spine of all these things that you're planting.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_00: It's really the whole stem again.
• 20:41
  SPEAKER_00: Umishum shamer.
• 20:43
SPEAKER_00: And really it's shimmer, but onto its own you do have the requisite shear, and that's why it's not necessarily an answer to the question about it being that starving.
• 20:50
SPEAKER_00: So it's lama uh uh illi.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_00: So okay, so let's try to figure out this case where you have the this uh stalk of one of these things that you planted, right?
• 20:58
SPEAKER_00: The kita biklibasa, sar biklibasa, dash miclipasa.
• 21:00
  SPEAKER_00: Let's try to see.
• 21:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, basically the hanachwa is that you we have that they all need each other on one stem.
• 21:05
SPEAKER_00: Why is that considered one thing if they're all on the same stem?
• 21:07
SPEAKER_00: And then they have a bunch of clippas protecting their own.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_00: Answer is because they're mammished, like squeezed together, and they all rely on each other.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_00: And if some fall out, then the other ones are gonna fall out as well.
• 21:17
SPEAKER_00: And that's why even if it looks like their individual shimmer, if it's on one stalk, they're really holding everything together, some of it falls out, the other ones are gonna fall out, so it's really one big shine there, and that's why you're gonna have the shear.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_00: But here's the and that's the that's what we need for this question.
• 21:28
  SPEAKER_00: Bishlamin Lisa Trichal Tatisa.
• 21:30
SPEAKER_00: I understand why the upper ones need the lower ones, because if the lower ones on the stalk get knocked out, then the top ones are gonna fall.
• 21:36
SPEAKER_00: So if the lower ones are gonna be considered a shimmer for the top ones, and the tatisa might so but the bottom ones, the lower ones, why do they need the klipas on top, on the top of the stalk?
• 21:45
SPEAKER_00: If they fall off, it's not gonna cause the lower ones to fall off.
• 21:48
SPEAKER_00: That's not protecting it, and therefore it shouldn't be considered a shimmer both ways.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_00: And so the Gemara, you're right.
• 21:52
SPEAKER_00: We're not talking about one long stalk, we're talking about Bihad Dara.
• 21:56
SPEAKER_00: We're talking about on one row, on one row of the of this thing, you have a full kabeza.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_00: On one row, you have a full kabeza of the shimmer, and they're all helping each other.
• 22:06
SPEAKER_00: And if one gets knocked off, they're all gonna fall off.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_00: Sending a kabeza, eichel, machad dara, do you have such a mitsia?
• 22:12
SPEAKER_00: Where you have a full kabeza of Eichlin on one row?
• 22:15
SPEAKER_00: That sounds like a really big stock to me.
• 22:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the kite, the Shimon Shetah in the khitim in the times of Shimon Shetah, Rashi quotes Gemar and Tiny is that there was tremendous brachtik shara gado was like the thighs of a sharagado.
• 22:27
SPEAKER_00: These khitas were so big in the times of Shimon Min Shettah, there was tremendous bracha, and therefore those ones, yeah, they might have a kabezah on one row, and that's why it would be considered one unit that the Shemim are all helping and working together in unison with each other, even the individual ones, they're not so individual, and therefore it would be mitzvah if in that type of case, but it's not a raya at all that in general, on the on their own, if they're cut in half and not helping each other, that they're going to be mitzvah.
• 22:51
SPEAKER_00: So it's like once you came onto this, uh, that we're going in the times of Shimon Min Shettach, where there was a really uh big shafa and everything was so big, then I have a much easier answer for you.
• 23:02
SPEAKER_00: You don't have to start saying that we're talking about one row.
• 23:05
SPEAKER_00: I can just tell you that uh khadachita nami behiti the Shimon Shetah, I can tell you that we're even talking about one piece of one grain of wheat.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_00: One grain of wheat, what's your qua kasha?
• 23:16
SPEAKER_00: That of course it's less than the shear that you need.
• 23:17
SPEAKER_00: No, we're talking about the khita and the time.
• 23:20
SPEAKER_00: Maybe you could even have a grain that was ma'am so big, you're gonna have the full shear that you need right there, and we'll hold it over here.
• 23:25
  SPEAKER_00: Get shotgun.
