- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I our radio. All right, Clayton, you and I
- 0:06Speaker 1: are both sitting here. Ashley is not with us today,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and so you and I have to to really pull
- 0:12Speaker 1: all our opinions out. You mentioned in our last episode
- 0:16Speaker 1: as we caught up with you that you are going
- 0:18Speaker 1: to kind of twist and turn our perspective to be
- 0:22Speaker 1: more positive towards these situations. I can't wait. We need
- 0:26Speaker 1: to Ashley and I. You know, um, we sometimes do
- 0:30Speaker 1: get too critical because we that you know, that's where
- 0:33Speaker 1: our opinions lie is in the critical pieces, not maybe
- 0:36Speaker 1: in the positive. And so I'm really excited for this.
- 0:37Speaker 1: But we open up this episode in Budapest. I thought
- 0:41Speaker 1: it looked beautiful, Clayton, absolutely gorgeous. In fact, I don't
- 0:45Speaker 1: do it very often when I watched the show, but
- 0:48Speaker 1: the first scenes I was like, WHOA, this place looks amazing. Yeah, no,
- 0:53Speaker 1: it was. Of course, the most places that the show
- 0:56Speaker 1: goes are absolutely broad taking, right, I mean, they're not
- 0:59Speaker 1: a cat. So the scene set the stage and uh,
- 1:02Speaker 1: you know, as the contestant or lead, you're you're walking
- 1:04Speaker 1: amongst you in this environment. You're thinking and how blessed
- 1:07Speaker 1: am I? How lucky am I to to be in
- 1:09Speaker 1: this this environment? Um? And and it just puts you
- 1:12Speaker 1: in this elevated positive mood. Uh and you just you're
- 1:16Speaker 1: happy with everyone that's around you, and you're like, let's
- 1:18Speaker 1: all do this together. Uh and kind I love this
- 1:21Speaker 1: and I want this to never end. And then it
- 1:24Speaker 1: hits you that it does end here soon and the
- 1:27Speaker 1: numbers are dwindling And what started at thirty is now six.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Uh And yeah, that's that was where um as we
- 1:34Speaker 1: saw in the episode last night. And I think it's
- 1:37Speaker 1: interesting to jump jump into you start seeing a lot
- 1:41Speaker 1: of people or individuals start to start to want, like
- 1:44Speaker 1: start to get a little nervous and a little maybe insecure,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and think this an incredible environment, This is awesome. But
- 1:50Speaker 1: like there's not many people around here anymore when I
- 1:52Speaker 1: look around, So things are getting real. Um And I
- 1:55Speaker 1: think we saw a lot of the reality of um
- 1:58Speaker 1: what happens when things start getting serious. That's that was
- 2:02Speaker 1: last night's episode. How are there so many perfect places
- 2:05Speaker 1: to fall in love? In fact, every place we've been
- 2:08Speaker 1: to this season has been the perfect place to fall
- 2:10Speaker 1: in love is perfect. It is perfection that common well,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I feel like society expects perfection to be common, right,
- 2:17Speaker 1: Like we expect it at all points, like especially on TV. Right,
- 2:22Speaker 1: everyone wants to see the perfect date and and and
- 2:25Speaker 1: have the individuals say the perfect lines. It's just not
- 2:28Speaker 1: real though it's not it's not realistic. But um yeah,
- 2:32Speaker 1: when you watch like all these environments, where where where
- 2:35Speaker 1: the cast and the lead go. I mean, how again,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I think you get overwhelmed by the environment, that everything
- 2:43Speaker 1: seems a little bit more elevated, things seem a little
- 2:45Speaker 1: bit more special, um and and so. But then you realize,
- 2:49Speaker 1: like when this ends, this is all gone. Um so,
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's it's I think it's dangerous. Sometimes I'm like, hey,
- 2:55Speaker 1: it'd be really nice to just fall in love in
- 2:57Speaker 1: the supermarket because I can always return to a supermarket
- 2:59Speaker 1: the next day, right, for the next twenty years of
- 3:02Speaker 1: my life. But I can I return to these extravagant
- 3:06Speaker 1: locations from the show. No, not so much, No, not
- 3:10Speaker 1: at all. Well, greers back. She is quarantined successfully from COVID.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Brooklyn is ready to take the next step in their relationship.
- 3:18Speaker 1: She seems very excited for what is to come, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: obviously Hometowns is next week. So there is a lot
- 3:24Speaker 1: in this episode. It does feel a sure pack. I'll
- 3:29Speaker 1: kind of guide us through the opening here. You know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: Zach is obviously feeling the pressure, right, I mean, you
- 3:36Speaker 1: were just there. It's been years for me, and so
- 3:38Speaker 1: this pressure this week, knowing that families are next week,
- 3:41Speaker 1: is it Do you feel like there's you know, more
- 3:44Speaker 1: pressure to it or is this just another week in
- 3:46Speaker 1: the process of trying to find your person? One thousand
- 3:49Speaker 1: percent there's more pressure to it. I mean think in
- 3:52Speaker 1: anyone that's listening to the real world application of this
- 3:55Speaker 1: usually go on a couple of days with somebody or
- 3:57Speaker 1: maybe I don't know, five six, whatever it is. But
- 4:00Speaker 1: then a big step in that relationship is hey, I
- 4:03Speaker 1: want you to meet my brother or sister. I want
- 4:05Speaker 1: you to meet my family. That's a big, big step.
- 4:08Speaker 1: So I think most people can relate to that, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: that's where Zach, you know, his mindset is, I'm going
- 4:15Speaker 1: to be meeting some of these women's families and eventually
- 4:18Speaker 1: they'll meet mine as well. But you know, time is
- 4:22Speaker 1: of the essence, and I think we got to see
- 4:25Speaker 1: a glimpse of that with the Greer situation, where you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and and also with Zach, I mean with COVID striking
- 4:31Speaker 1: and having to quarantine when time is everything and you
- 4:35Speaker 1: have all these incredible people around you, but you're trying
- 4:38Speaker 1: to get down to the nitty gridy and be like,
- 4:40Speaker 1: who is really the person for me? You need every
- 4:43Speaker 1: waking moment. So I think we saw that first and
- 4:45Speaker 1: foremost was that pressure build up, and I think Zach
- 4:48Speaker 1: started to feel that in the episode where he thought, Man,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I need every moment. But I've been sidelined, and now
- 4:55Speaker 1: I have another individual who sidelined. How do I make
- 4:59Speaker 1: this right decision? Am I gonna make it off of
- 5:01Speaker 1: a recency effect the last person I saw that made
- 5:03Speaker 1: me feel good? Or am I gonna so you know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: am I gonna be able to make this decision off
- 5:05Speaker 1: of how I felt a week ago? But as you
- 5:07Speaker 1: and I both know, man, a week in the Bachelor world,
- 5:11Speaker 1: a lot can happen with every single conversation. So you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: let's chat for a second about Greer. Obviously, in the
- 5:18Speaker 1: episode we see you know, the grew goes home, she quarantine,
- 5:22Speaker 1: shows up, goes home. Are you surprised by this? Shocked
- 5:28Speaker 1: by this? Let's take production out of it and say
- 5:30Speaker 1: why in the world that Zack just not say Greer, hey,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you weren't making it two weeks ago or a week ago,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know, so don't come to Budapest or wherever you're hiding.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's not worth it for you. Yeah. You know. My
- 5:44Speaker 1: thought was based off of the interaction when I saw
- 5:48Speaker 1: them first to come back together, was that Zach was
- 5:52Speaker 1: probably trying to see if that spark was still there,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and so he I think also maybe he felt that, hey,
- 6:00Speaker 1: I gotta give her a chance, right, I can't just say, oh, sorry,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you got COVID, so now it's over. I think, you know,
- 6:05Speaker 1: Zach kind of had a strong connection with her early
- 6:07Speaker 1: on from what I recall, and thought, you know, there's
- 6:10Speaker 1: something here. There was something here, and I want to
- 6:13Speaker 1: see if if I see her again after not seeing
- 6:16Speaker 1: her for a week, what type of feeling am I
- 6:18Speaker 1: going to have internally? And I can relate to that.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm sure you can too. I mean, I think about
- 6:22Speaker 1: as hometowns. There was a week lapse between, you know,
- 6:26Speaker 1: between being out in the in Austria for me and
- 6:29Speaker 1: then all of a sudden hometowns, and so I did
- 6:31Speaker 1: really wonder I was like, Okay, not that I need
- 6:33Speaker 1: to base all of it off this, But how am
- 6:35Speaker 1: I going to feel when I first see this person again? Right?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Am I going to be just so giddy and jumping
- 6:40Speaker 1: around and all that? Or am I going to just
- 6:42Speaker 1: see them and go, hey, what's going on? And so
- 6:44Speaker 1: I thought, in my opinion that that's maybe what Zach
- 6:48Speaker 1: was waiting to see. If if I see her, am
- 6:50Speaker 1: I going to get giddy? Am I going to have this?
- 6:52Speaker 1: I really really missed you? And based off of that
- 6:55Speaker 1: initial feeling, I will judge whether or not that we
- 6:59Speaker 1: we should move for And I just think that they
- 7:02Speaker 1: met up and I started seeing it was like Zach
- 7:04Speaker 1: was like, you know what writings on the wall, I
- 7:05Speaker 1: have these other connections and I just don't feel that
- 7:08Speaker 1: we're on the same level, which is what he essentially
- 7:10Speaker 1: what he said was, I just have these It was
- 7:12Speaker 1: implying I have these stronger connections. Well, and and let's
- 7:16Speaker 1: just set the stage here them because obviously we're going
- 7:19Speaker 1: to talk about Katie's one on one, but let's set
- 7:22Speaker 1: the stage for the things I've criticized Zac for, some
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the things the public has criticized Zac for, but
- 7:29Speaker 1: also you know, praise Dack for right. So I don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: know if I'm in the majority or minority on opinions
- 7:35Speaker 1: on Zach, but his empathy to me seems lacking. I
- 7:43Speaker 1: don't think he's a bad dude, and I don't think
- 7:45Speaker 1: he's a bad bachelor. I've said that every episode. In fact,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I do think, like you said, he is really concentrated
- 7:52Speaker 1: on the connections his feeling, and as soon as he
- 7:54Speaker 1: doesn't feel something or doesn't know it's right, maybe that's
- 7:58Speaker 1: what it looks like to us, is he's just sending
- 8:00Speaker 1: him home. Right. There isn't a part of this episode
- 8:03Speaker 1: that I did feel strongly that his lack of empathy
- 8:08Speaker 1: was being displayed, and we'll get to that later on.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But when it comes to these situations where he's waiting
- 8:15Speaker 1: to see if there's that spark, if he's if maybe
- 8:21Speaker 1: you know, it feels like at times, he to me
- 8:25Speaker 1: is leading this with a strong and heavy hand, meaning
- 8:29Speaker 1: this is his experience and those women are just along
- 8:31Speaker 1: for the ride, and it's who he wants and who
- 8:34Speaker 1: he's feeling, and everybody else is going to go home.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You said you have some positive takes on this. I
- 8:40Speaker 1: would love to hear them. So when I say these
- 8:42Speaker 1: things you disagree with me, and I want to hear
- 8:46Speaker 1: that why do you disagree with some of those takes?
- 8:49Speaker 1: So I won't say an essay disagree. I just don't
- 8:53Speaker 1: think we have a large enough sample size to really
- 8:57Speaker 1: truly judge someone's character. And this hits home for me
- 9:01Speaker 1: because people said I lacked empathy and uh, and it
- 9:03Speaker 1: was true. I did lack at empathy. I lacked him
- 9:06Speaker 1: in the critical moments. What I found though, is I
- 9:09Speaker 1: didn't lack empathy in general as he as a human being,
- 9:13Speaker 1: but when I needed to be empathetic most in that environment,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I was not. And so I try to look at
- 9:20Speaker 1: it like knowing what I had would happened to me
- 9:23Speaker 1: that when it comes to Zach did were there certain
- 9:25Speaker 1: play environ situations where he lacked maybe empathy in that
- 9:29Speaker 1: critical moment? Yes, Um, I could say that, yeah, it
- 9:32Speaker 1: looked it appeared that way, But was he empathetic you
- 9:35Speaker 1: know the rest of the time that we didn't maybe
- 9:37Speaker 1: see he might have been extremely empathetic and we just
- 9:41Speaker 1: didn't see that. So um, the only thing that I
- 9:44Speaker 1: just asked people to do and hesitate on is is
- 9:47Speaker 1: what you're seeing again might just be at the height
- 9:50Speaker 1: at the moment when like, yes, he probably needed to
- 9:52Speaker 1: be um, you know that, but he wasn't. But that
- 9:55Speaker 1: doesn't mean he lacks it all together. Doesn't mean that
- 9:59Speaker 1: if somebody, it's a certain way, loses their temper, that
- 10:02Speaker 1: they're they're they're a person that has a temper, right,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Like I see that a lot in the show. People
- 10:07Speaker 1: will go, oh, he lost his cool. He's probably always
- 10:11Speaker 1: liked that, or the audience goes as extreme red flag
- 10:14Speaker 1: he probably you know, is abusive, and it's like off
- 10:17Speaker 1: of one incident or maybe a culman at two or
- 10:21Speaker 1: three from the show. But I just that's where I'm
- 10:23Speaker 1: like again withhold that judgment, because you don't really know
- 10:27Speaker 1: if he was maybe empathetic a little before that interaction
- 10:32Speaker 1: and he just missed it in that moment um. So
- 10:35Speaker 1: I don't disagree with you. I just feel that people
- 10:38Speaker 1: are so quick to say to draw conclusions based off
- 10:42Speaker 1: of limited experiences or and that's that's where I stay.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I stand differently on that. I think with Greer, Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I I she was very distraught obviously when he when
- 10:55Speaker 1: he sent her home. Um, But I think also too,
- 10:58Speaker 1: I don't know, I can't speak for but maybe he
- 11:00Speaker 1: feels that, like, when I make a decision, you know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I can't beat around the bush. I just have to
- 11:05Speaker 1: come out and say, I don't want to drag this out.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I'd be curious how you approached that, because I'm very
- 11:12Speaker 1: similar that way. When I've made the decision, I'm willing
- 11:16Speaker 1: to listen and listen and be there for the for
- 11:18Speaker 1: the woman, but I don't want to drag it out
- 11:21Speaker 1: because I don't want them to feel that pain for longer.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So how would you, I guess of maybe approach a
- 11:27Speaker 1: situations such as that differently. You get really good at
- 11:30Speaker 1: breaking up with people on the show, I will say,
- 11:32Speaker 1: or you get really good or really bad, Like you
- 11:34Speaker 1: get either better over time or worse over time, whatever
- 11:36Speaker 1: path you choose. I kind of went with the philosophy
- 11:40Speaker 1: of like let's rip the band aid off. You know,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I do think there's a thing where timing is everything
- 11:48Speaker 1: and how you approach to break up. You know, I
- 11:51Speaker 1: never went with like them the model of let's give
- 11:55Speaker 1: all these compliments because they're true. Right. I think Zach
- 11:58Speaker 1: means it when he's like, you're a special person, you're
- 12:02Speaker 1: very you're incredible, says all these things and he's like,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but I'm not feeling it. You need to go home.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I never went with that approach because it felt dishonest
- 12:09Speaker 1: a little bit to me, because if I thought they
- 12:11Speaker 1: were that incredible, and if I thought like, I mean,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I hope it's a given that I think any human
- 12:17Speaker 1: breathing on this earth is incredible in their own unique way,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I hope that's a given. I hope it was a
- 12:22Speaker 1: given during my season. But I just kind of went with, hey, like,
- 12:25Speaker 1: we're not, like, this isn't working, right, and if you
- 12:29Speaker 1: think it is, like why do you think this is
- 12:31Speaker 1: still working? Do you just really want to be around
- 12:33Speaker 1: because it's cool to be last longer on the show,
- 12:36Speaker 1: or do you really want to be around because you
- 12:38Speaker 1: believe there's something here? And then just pretty much end
- 12:41Speaker 1: it right. I guess it was easy for me because
- 12:44Speaker 1: a lot of times I felt like I was sending
- 12:46Speaker 1: people home after conflict, and so it kind of was
- 12:50Speaker 1: like like obvious that hey, this is no longer working.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It really kind of backfired on me at the end
- 12:56Speaker 1: right after I shared you know, my emotions with two people.
- 12:59Speaker 1: That was or I think I really failed at how
- 13:02Speaker 1: I ended it. So maybe I got worse over time
- 13:07Speaker 1: the path I took. But you know, I think I
- 13:11Speaker 1: agree with everything you're seeing. I don't think it's ever fair.
- 13:15Speaker 1: It's we always say on this show, it's really hard
- 13:17Speaker 1: to dislike somebody once you get to meet them. And
- 13:19Speaker 1: there's very few people that I've met on this show
- 13:22Speaker 1: that I would say, hey, I don't want to be
- 13:23Speaker 1: around you ever. Again, there's a few, but it's very uncommon. Yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 1: but as viewers of the show, and that's who listens
- 13:33Speaker 1: to this you know podcast, hundreds of thousands of people
- 13:37Speaker 1: that watch this show, which is a big portion of
- 13:39Speaker 1: who watches the show. Still, I think it's almost I
- 13:43Speaker 1: would say, i'd go back to you. It's almost impossible
- 13:46Speaker 1: not to form your opinions from the show because rightfully
- 13:49Speaker 1: or now, that's all you know and see, and you're
- 13:50Speaker 1: watching the show to be entertained and to and I
- 13:54Speaker 1: think it's a compliment to the characters to really like
- 13:57Speaker 1: get to know them and to like really start to
- 14:01Speaker 1: like understand them. And there's been a trend with Zach
- 14:06Speaker 1: where you know, in tough moments, when somebody opens up
- 14:09Speaker 1: about insecurity, he says, hey, we're gone, You're You're gone.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm not feeling anymore. And I think that's where the
- 14:17Speaker 1: criticism nice, because that's all we know at this point
- 14:19Speaker 1: about him. Like I would, I'm sure I'll meet Zack
- 14:22Speaker 1: one day and I'll be like, Hey, you're exactly who
- 14:24Speaker 1: I thought you were. Right, You're Yes, You're you're tough
- 14:26Speaker 1: on the outside. You're a big, softy year, a nice dude,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you care, You're intentional. But all I know from the show,
- 14:32Speaker 1: from what I'm watching this small sample size, is that like, hey,
- 14:39Speaker 1: you kind of blotched it. It felt like when things
- 14:41Speaker 1: got hard. Yeah, and I get that, right, uh, And
- 14:46Speaker 1: and I would say this, I'm not telling people to
- 14:47Speaker 1: not have any emotional reaction, right, I'm not saying, oh,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you got to withhold all your emotion. I just think
- 14:53Speaker 1: that we go, people go to the extremes, all right,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you know, like drawing these conclusions that um and I
- 14:58Speaker 1: think we'll discuss this later happened last week, but like
- 15:01Speaker 1: his his zoom call, but to draw to to have
- 15:04Speaker 1: you know, that situation play out, and then for people
- 15:06Speaker 1: to say he seems like a terrible person. He and
- 15:09Speaker 1: I would never want a data man like that, Like
- 15:11Speaker 1: these are the comments I saw on line, and I thought,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you know, this is these are extremes, like we need
- 15:16Speaker 1: to have an emotional reaction, but like let's not have
- 15:20Speaker 1: let's not go to this this far to the left
- 15:21Speaker 1: or right. Like I'm just saying, can we bring it
- 15:24Speaker 1: all together and can we hold accountability so that people
- 15:27Speaker 1: don't feel it's okay to say these extremes because you know,
- 15:30Speaker 1: the leads see those extremes and then we start to
- 15:32Speaker 1: believe the extremes. So it's more just me saying, like,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I just think people need to be hold themselves more
- 15:38Speaker 1: accountable and others need to as far as let's not
- 15:40Speaker 1: jump to the extremes. You can have an emotional reaction,
- 15:43Speaker 1: but let's just not go to that that that that
- 15:45Speaker 1: that degree, because I think that that's where I feel
- 15:48Speaker 1: a lot of viewers, Um, they get a little bit
- 15:51Speaker 1: too emotional and they go absolutely berserk on social media,
- 15:54Speaker 1: and that's what I have a problem with. Yeah. Um
- 15:56Speaker 1: so yeah, with that though, I also think as well,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I mean I try to having been the lead, I
- 16:02Speaker 1: try to say, well, what what maybe Zach already made
- 16:08Speaker 1: his mind up with this individual as far as like
- 16:11Speaker 1: they're gonna go, I'm gonna send them home. Then they
- 16:14Speaker 1: come to him and they and they open up and
- 16:17Speaker 1: they have a very vulnerable moment. Now you're in a
- 16:20Speaker 1: predicament as the lead. Your thought is is, Okay, they
- 16:23Speaker 1: just really open up to me, and they were vulnerable.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So do I keep them now? Because if I send
- 16:26Speaker 1: them home, I look insensitive. But I also already made
- 16:29Speaker 1: my decision to send them home. So now you're a
- 16:33Speaker 1: you're in a bind. And and again, in the real world,
- 16:36Speaker 1: if someone came to you and that you might you
- 16:38Speaker 1: might give them, you might you know, console them, and
- 16:40Speaker 1: you're like, I don't need to break out them today.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I can wait a few days. In this environment, you
- 16:43Speaker 1: don't have the time. It's like, I gotta give out
- 16:45Speaker 1: roses tonight and you came to me with something very vulnerable,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but I already had made my mind to break up
- 16:50Speaker 1: with you, so I need to console you. But I
- 16:52Speaker 1: also I have to send you home. And that's where
- 16:56Speaker 1: I think it can be viewed as insensitive. But to me,
- 16:58Speaker 1: it's more a matter of well, yeah, Zach, I mean,
- 17:01Speaker 1: the only person you can asks him like, did you
- 17:03Speaker 1: already make your mind up before that? Because if you did,
- 17:06Speaker 1: then what was said? I mean, you could have consoled
- 17:08Speaker 1: them at you are you knew anyways, like I have
- 17:10Speaker 1: to send somebody home tonight and unfortunately already made that decision.
- 17:13Speaker 1: That makes a lot of sense. The extremes never welcome, right,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you Like, the extremes are not helpful here, But I
- 17:20Speaker 1: think being like, you know, trying, you know, analyzing the
- 17:23Speaker 1: situation is kind of fun and it's why people watch
- 17:25Speaker 1: the show. But then you're right, like, maybe he did
- 17:27Speaker 1: already make up his mind. And if that's the case,
- 17:29Speaker 1: like I think you and I would both say that's
- 17:31Speaker 1: a positive that he is so decisive and who he
- 17:34Speaker 1: knows he wants and he doesn't want, because it's happened
- 17:36Speaker 1: multiple times now. And maybe he just has the worst
- 17:38Speaker 1: timing when it comes to when people are opening up
- 17:41Speaker 1: to him than any bachelor ever because multiple times it's
- 17:44Speaker 1: been in these moments of vulnerability that he's like, wait,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I came into this knowing and preparing myself to say
- 17:49Speaker 1: this isn't gonna work, and now I have to balance
- 17:53Speaker 1: that with the fact that you just laid your heart
- 17:56Speaker 1: out to me, and this is not easy on either
- 17:59Speaker 1: of us. Well, the first date is with Katie. It's
- 18:13Speaker 1: a one on one. I think since the beginning, you know,
- 18:16Speaker 1: Katie's been like the definitely the top of Ashley and
- 18:20Speaker 1: I's like list for who he could end up with.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But she's kind of been sneaky, like she hasn't been
- 18:25Speaker 1: the biggest voice, the most loud voice, or the place
- 18:29Speaker 1: that maybe the connections have existed the most within lead
- 18:34Speaker 1: us through this date. Clayton, kind of what you were seeing,
- 18:37Speaker 1: what you experienced where you think this will go. Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 1: so I tend to agree with you, with you too,
- 18:42Speaker 1: I could just reading the screen and looking at their connections,
- 18:46Speaker 1: she seems very comfortable and confidence in contrast to some
- 18:51Speaker 1: of the other reactions I was seeing from the other women,
- 18:55Speaker 1: And so I feel that she's in a spot where
- 18:58Speaker 1: it's it appears she feels like she can of identically
- 19:00Speaker 1: be herself. Um, She's she's not outwardly at least struggling.
- 19:06Speaker 1: It looks like with any internal negative thoughts that may
- 19:09Speaker 1: be manifesting, she just seems to be there and competent.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And when the two of them were talking together at
- 19:15Speaker 1: throughout the date and even even at the night portion
- 19:17Speaker 1: of the date, it was, Um, you can just tell
- 19:19Speaker 1: there's there's a ton of chemistry there and there's so
- 19:22Speaker 1: much confidence um that they both they just seem like
- 19:26Speaker 1: they can there's that aura. I mean I almost thought
- 19:28Speaker 1: I watched it and I was like, this just seems
- 19:30Speaker 1: like it's on another level. Um not, there's still time
- 19:33Speaker 1: left and these other women can can make, you know,
- 19:35Speaker 1: a push towards the end, but it just seemed like
- 19:37Speaker 1: there was this there was this different level and and
- 19:40Speaker 1: feeling between those two. Um And so yeah, I think
- 19:44Speaker 1: that's where she shines as that she's um, you know,
- 19:48Speaker 1: she's just in the moment with him, and I think
- 19:50Speaker 1: she feels very confident and she's not questioning um, you know,
- 19:55Speaker 1: the other women that are around or where she stands
- 19:57Speaker 1: in the equation. It just appears that she's very much
- 20:00Speaker 1: just like I'm focused on him and when I'm with him,
- 20:02Speaker 1: that's all I see. And I feel good with where
- 20:04Speaker 1: we're at. And what did you think? What were you
- 20:07Speaker 1: what were your thoughts on those interactions? Yeah, you know,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I thought I thought the most telling moment was when Zach,
- 20:15Speaker 1: you know, when when she's explaining her childhood and how
- 20:18Speaker 1: difficult it was and probably how hard that was for her. Again,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I always think of how difficult that has to be
- 20:24Speaker 1: when there's cameras around and you're in a kind of
- 20:26Speaker 1: an unfamiliar environment and he's consoling her, and he's like
- 20:31Speaker 1: kind of whispering to her, you know, and he's telling
- 20:35Speaker 1: her these things like hey, it's okay. Like what I
- 20:38Speaker 1: felt like he wanted to do there was be like girl,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I love you, like it's really okay, Like I can't
- 20:44Speaker 1: say this to you, and I'm gonna try to whisper
- 20:46Speaker 1: it so nobody can hear. But these mics are pretty good,
- 20:48Speaker 1: so they pick up on everything. But like I felt
- 20:51Speaker 1: like he at that moment, and you're right, I think
- 20:55Speaker 1: it's a very special connection. I think he wants to
- 20:57Speaker 1: tell her more than what he feels like it's appropriate
- 21:01Speaker 1: to tell her right now, which is probably very smart.
- 21:04Speaker 1: But in that moment, I felt like he was like
- 21:06Speaker 1: inside being like I want to say this. I want
- 21:07Speaker 1: to say this, I want to say this, and all
- 21:09Speaker 1: I can say to you is hey, I'm here, you're here,
- 21:12Speaker 1: Like we're good, We're gonna be okay. I felt like
- 21:17Speaker 1: that was the moment that where I was like this,
- 21:19Speaker 1: this is this is different than every other you know.
- 21:22Speaker 1: For as much as I would say he's maybe lack
- 21:26Speaker 1: the empathy when he wants to break up with somebody,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and again, it might just be terrible timing every time.
- 21:30Speaker 1: This is like the reverse where it's like no, when
- 21:33Speaker 1: he really cares, like he's leaning in, but he still
- 21:37Speaker 1: is putting up boundaries because maybe it's not appropriate to
- 21:41Speaker 1: say everything he's feeling right now. Well, because you know
- 21:45Speaker 1: that every word you say is going to be recorded
- 21:48Speaker 1: and it's going to be put out there, and you
- 21:51Speaker 1: feel you to be cautious because this is the dynamic
- 21:54Speaker 1: that I don't think many people that you know, viewers
- 21:56Speaker 1: of the show realize when you date multiple individuals, unless
- 21:59Speaker 1: anyone else has had sperience of that. I never did
- 22:01Speaker 1: multi people at once. Um so, but when you do that,
- 22:04Speaker 1: you realize that that word will travel back world, word
- 22:06Speaker 1: will get back to other individuals. And so if I
- 22:10Speaker 1: say this, what is going to be the ramifications of
- 22:13Speaker 1: making this comment? And I think I think he hit
- 22:15Speaker 1: the nail on the head. It definitely felt like he
- 22:17Speaker 1: wanted to say more, but he was his head at
- 22:20Speaker 1: the same time thinking if I say this, what is
- 22:23Speaker 1: going to be the ramifications? What are the other women
- 22:26Speaker 1: that are still here if they if it gets back
- 22:28Speaker 1: to them. Then I said this, what is it going
- 22:30Speaker 1: to do to those connections? Um? And so this this
- 22:33Speaker 1: withholding uh is due to the external factors and the
- 22:38Speaker 1: other play you know, other individuals in the equation. Um
- 22:42Speaker 1: and and yeah, yeah, great, great pick up on that,
- 22:44Speaker 1: because I doubt when you say that, I think the
- 22:46Speaker 1: same thing. I'm like, yeah, I know. He wanted to
- 22:48Speaker 1: say more, but he was cautious because he thought this
- 22:52Speaker 1: could end up if I say this and things change
- 22:55Speaker 1: in the coming weeks. Um, yeah, who who Like? Then
- 22:59Speaker 1: then am I gonna have to answer to this down
- 23:01Speaker 1: the road Because he's watching the show right now with
- 23:03Speaker 1: all of us, right, Yeah, as is if he's with somebody,
- 23:07Speaker 1: they're watching it too. So this is where he probably
- 23:09Speaker 1: in that moment thinking if I say this, you know
- 23:12Speaker 1: this many months later, if I'm with somebody, this person
- 23:15Speaker 1: could see it, and then they're gonna say, well, you
- 23:17Speaker 1: didn't explain, you didn't tell me about that, So what's
- 23:20Speaker 1: this about. So it's it's it's I don't want to
- 23:23Speaker 1: say calculated, but it just cautious. Yeah, and you're right,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I think he had that. Yeah. You have to kind
- 23:28Speaker 1: of be both. You have to be a little calculated
- 23:30Speaker 1: in what you say and don't say, and then you
- 23:32Speaker 1: have to be cautious. So also, I always think it's
- 23:34Speaker 1: interesting to watch this week's episode because what viewers don't
- 23:38Speaker 1: know and see is that we're halfway through filming at
- 23:42Speaker 1: this point, and so Zach is also sitting there and
- 23:45Speaker 1: the women are sitting there going, Okay, we've been here
- 23:48Speaker 1: a long time. It feels like, right, we've this has
- 23:50Speaker 1: been a month of a journey and we're only halfway through.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Now it does feel like we've really narrowed it down
- 23:56Speaker 1: to only four women in hometown start by Hometowns is
- 24:00Speaker 1: the second half of filming for the show, and so
- 24:02Speaker 1: they all know there's a lot of time left and
- 24:05Speaker 1: there's a lot of things that can happen in this
- 24:07Speaker 1: amount of time. And now after Hometowns you start spending
- 24:11Speaker 1: a lot of time which each each of the people left.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And so there's also that in the back of your
- 24:16Speaker 1: mind where're like, hey, this feels like we're a long
- 24:18Speaker 1: ways off, like from the beginning, but we're only halfway done.
- 24:23Speaker 1: And from a viewer's perspective, you're like, no, there's down
- 24:26Speaker 1: to four. We only have you know this many episodes
- 24:28Speaker 1: left but these episodes now take longer to film, and
- 24:31Speaker 1: so there's a lot more time and a lot more
- 24:33Speaker 1: dates and a lot more experiences. So that's on the
- 24:35Speaker 1: back of your mind too, probably as a lead. That's
- 24:38Speaker 1: such a great point that needs to be emphasized, is yes, everyone,
- 24:41Speaker 1: from a if you look at it from a show
- 24:43Speaker 1: number standpoint, you're like, we're almost at the end of
- 24:45Speaker 1: this whole journey. But the reality is you're kind of
- 24:48Speaker 1: at the halfway point in the from a like from
- 24:51Speaker 1: within that environment, you still have so much time left,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and now you have a fraction of the people left,
- 24:56Speaker 1: so you those you feel that you have an infinite
- 24:59Speaker 1: amount of time now or it's not infinite, but so
- 25:02Speaker 1: much more than you first did, um, And so you realize,
- 25:05Speaker 1: like so much can happen. So how I feel today,
- 25:08Speaker 1: who knows? Two weeks from now? I know that it
- 25:10Speaker 1: seems like we're tailing on the end of the season
- 25:12Speaker 1: from a viewership standpoint, but yes, as the lead in Contestants,
- 25:15Speaker 1: it's like, now you're getting into like just a halfway point, um.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And it's really great to know that, because that's that's
- 25:21Speaker 1: the mindset you have, is there's still so much time left. Um,
- 25:24Speaker 1: whereas everyone that's watching is saying, no, that was not
- 25:27Speaker 1: we got three, three or four episodes left. You better
- 25:29Speaker 1: hurry up and tell them you love them. It's like
- 25:32Speaker 1: again where there's there's different times occurring between the from
- 25:36Speaker 1: the what the viewers are seeing versus what people that
- 25:39Speaker 1: are within the environment are. So that's that's a really
- 25:40Speaker 1: great point. Yeah. So then we move into the group date.
- 25:44Speaker 1: The group date is now magic. Last week, you know
- 25:48Speaker 1: we did a different form of magic. Magic was a
- 25:51Speaker 1: conversation we had last week. Um, it's it's cool. There's
- 25:56Speaker 1: not a lot to me that happened during this group day.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I don't know if you disagree, but I'd say one
- 26:00Speaker 1: thing that came up for me was I never had
- 26:03Speaker 1: a group date that I can remember so much emotion
- 26:07Speaker 1: happening on. I did have one in in the Bahamas
- 26:11Speaker 1: where I think I focused on like my favorites more
- 26:14Speaker 1: than everybody else, and everybody kind of picked up on that,
- 26:16Speaker 1: and I thought I was going to lose half the
- 26:18Speaker 1: cast during one evening which I had that was very stressful. Um,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but that was emotion for a different reason. This this
- 26:28Speaker 1: group date, for as goofy as I would say, it
- 26:31Speaker 1: is with the magic stuff. It felt like women took
- 26:33Speaker 1: it very serious and like really right into it. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: well okay, so this is the thing. I mean, I
- 26:39Speaker 1: don't know. As as a viewer, I was a little
- 26:41Speaker 1: skeptical of the magician man. I thought, come on, I
- 26:44Speaker 1: guess he actually putting the hearts on their hand. Is
- 26:46Speaker 1: he actually getting the words that are in their head?
- 26:49Speaker 1: I will say this, Let's just let's just say that
- 26:51Speaker 1: that that was in fact all very much reality. If
- 26:54Speaker 1: this man was guessing the words that were in the
- 26:58Speaker 1: heads of these women, which what they were writing on
- 27:00Speaker 1: there were very vulnerable words, right they were They were
- 27:03Speaker 1: you could say, insecurities. So if that was in fact authentic,
- 27:09Speaker 1: I would imagine if I was in that position as
- 27:10Speaker 1: one of the women and I wrote my insecurity and
- 27:12Speaker 1: I showed it, or he and he said it and
- 27:14Speaker 1: I showed it and then they matched up, that would
- 27:17Speaker 1: just start a tail spin. That would be It'd be
- 27:21Speaker 1: a trigger and I'd be like, oh my gosh, how
- 27:24Speaker 1: did he know this? Like I must be am I
- 27:26Speaker 1: showing this? And then I'd be thinking, you know, if
- 27:29Speaker 1: I was one of the women, I would be like,
- 27:30Speaker 1: is does Zach see this? And if I don't figure
- 27:33Speaker 1: this out, now, is it going to be over soon?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Like my insecurity is out there and apparently it's this
- 27:39Speaker 1: magician found figured it out. So how like I would
- 27:42Speaker 1: be just in this constant downward spiral from that point forward?
- 27:45Speaker 1: If oh my gosh, I can't believe that this must
- 27:47Speaker 1: be more apparent. I thought I was hiding it. Well,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I didn't realize that this is so very apparent. So, um,
- 27:53Speaker 1: that's what you saw though you saw? Um, you know,
- 27:55Speaker 1: Gabby had mentioned that she was kind of Gabby Charity
- 27:58Speaker 1: was another one all of them, Cat Cat's response And
- 28:02Speaker 1: I don't know if we want to dive into that
- 28:04Speaker 1: one specifically, but um, all of them had these vulnerable
- 28:07Speaker 1: moments and then of course, like the date ends, but
- 28:11Speaker 1: they're they're just starting right there. Their brains are just
- 28:14Speaker 1: starting to go, oh my gosh, Like how did he
- 28:17Speaker 1: know that? Is this affecting me? Is this why I
- 28:20Speaker 1: can't you know, get to that next step? Um? But now,
- 28:24Speaker 1: like you know, and now Zach's aware of it, so
- 28:25Speaker 1: how is he going to respond to it? Um? And
- 28:28Speaker 1: that puts a lot of pressure on him. I think,
- 28:30Speaker 1: like Katie, I do, I can't want to bring that up. Um.
- 28:32Speaker 1: They asked if if you know, if you know the
- 28:36Speaker 1: magician asked if if if you know she was ready
- 28:38Speaker 1: to have zach me and her family and and she
- 28:40Speaker 1: said yeah, and then she said she kind of hesitated
- 28:42Speaker 1: and goes well and then got very emotional. Um. And
- 28:47Speaker 1: as we saw later in the episode, it's like she was,
- 28:50Speaker 1: you know, she she was bothered by the fact that
- 28:52Speaker 1: she had now brought this up. And then and then
- 28:56Speaker 1: it was like, Okay, how's that going to feel about
- 28:57Speaker 1: this now that I hesitated that, you know, I I
- 29:00Speaker 1: was vulnerable, but now I'm I'm you know, I'm questioning.
- 29:03Speaker 1: And then I almost did walk away, but it wasn't
- 29:05Speaker 1: because of our connections, just because it's been overwhelming. So
- 29:09Speaker 1: that magician, man, I mean, just got into the heads
- 29:12Speaker 1: of these these I guess maybe literally as he pulled
- 29:15Speaker 1: out the words. But that just started the beginning of
- 29:18Speaker 1: the tailspin of a lot of I think their end securities.
- 29:20Speaker 1: And so I think that's why he saw so much emotion,
- 29:23Speaker 1: because then it became this internal struggle with each of them.
- 29:27Speaker 1: That might be it right, and we won't know, but
- 29:30Speaker 1: for the fun of the show, let's assume that all
- 29:32Speaker 1: this was very real and happening. Like you said, it
- 29:36Speaker 1: would freak me out. I don't think I would enjoy it.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I think I might be emotional just based on the
- 29:42Speaker 1: fact that this was freaky, this is weird. Yeah, but
- 29:48Speaker 1: you know it did for is maybe goofy or is
- 29:52Speaker 1: weird or whatever you want to say. It did bring
- 29:54Speaker 1: out emotion, which I do think is helpful in this experience.
- 29:59Speaker 1: And then we have the after party where you know,
- 30:02Speaker 1: we already talked about Greer. That's already you know, a
- 30:05Speaker 1: thing that we've discussed. But there there seems to be
- 30:09Speaker 1: this now disconnect with Kat, who has always been at
- 30:11Speaker 1: the top of my board when it comes to who
- 30:13Speaker 1: I thought you'd end up with. At the end, it
- 30:15Speaker 1: feels like this whole episode, she's telling him, Hey, I'm
- 30:20Speaker 1: in it for you, but this is hard for me,
- 30:21Speaker 1: and he just doesn't feel to be reciprocating those same
- 30:26Speaker 1: feelings any longer, which is weird for me. I really
- 30:30Speaker 1: thought that he was like obsessed with her. Yeah, well, again,
- 30:35Speaker 1: I know that I could speak on this, and I
- 30:38Speaker 1: don't know if you if you if you want to
- 30:40Speaker 1: again to go back in that situation, because you know,
- 30:42Speaker 1: with you being with somebody. It's a little bit different
- 30:44Speaker 1: to go back and recount, but what I can say
- 30:46Speaker 1: is like, I think you can start off out the
- 30:49Speaker 1: gate with really really strong connections and then over time
- 30:53Speaker 1: some people just take a little longer to warm up,
- 30:55Speaker 1: but then they start picking up steam and then they
- 30:58Speaker 1: you're like, wow, I really like this person. They were
- 30:59Speaker 1: just um, you know, maybe they didn't come out the
- 31:01Speaker 1: gates fire, and but now I'm getting to know them
- 31:04Speaker 1: and it's starting to I'm really starting to like to
- 31:06Speaker 1: like what I see. That's that's what I got from
- 31:09Speaker 1: the impression with Kat was she came out the gates hot, right,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and they had this very strong connection. But then maybe
- 31:15Speaker 1: some end of it, women were more reserved. Um, they
- 31:18Speaker 1: started to let down their walls. And that's where I
- 31:21Speaker 1: think Zach was like, Okay, I've you know, so I
- 31:24Speaker 1: was able to get through this person quicker, but now
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm seeing this person. I really like what I'm seeing.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So uh, that's I just think that's where the steam
- 31:32Speaker 1: ran out with with Kat was is that he really
- 31:37Speaker 1: loved what he saw, but then others started to show
- 31:40Speaker 1: their true selves and then he that just that that
- 31:43Speaker 1: gap started to close and eventually got beyond that. So, um,
- 31:47Speaker 1: I can attest to that. There were plenty of that.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean again, yeah, you look at like first impression roses.
- 31:52Speaker 1: You know. For me, it's like I had a first
- 31:53Speaker 1: pression rose game to Teddy and then um, it just
- 31:55Speaker 1: flamed out towards the end because I just started to
- 31:58Speaker 1: see more of everybody else and I thought, Okay, like
- 32:01Speaker 1: I didn't see this night one, but I see it
- 32:02Speaker 1: now two three weeks out, and so that's just what
- 32:05Speaker 1: can happen in that environment. And I think that's where
- 32:08Speaker 1: Zack's making these constant decisions every time he's he's in
- 32:11Speaker 1: these environments. Yeah, do I still feel this way about her,
- 32:14Speaker 1: but I think they lost that spark. Yeah, I can
- 32:18Speaker 1: relate with that. I think more for me, I think
- 32:21Speaker 1: I had it both right, Like people that I didn't
- 32:24Speaker 1: even really know where on my season for the first
- 32:26Speaker 1: two weeks, and somehow on week five I'm like, wow,
- 32:29Speaker 1: this is great working out and then people that I
- 32:33Speaker 1: really maybe noticed on night one. Within a few weeks,
- 32:36Speaker 1: I was like, maybe we don't have what I thought
- 32:38Speaker 1: we had. So I get that, but I'm still surprised
- 32:41Speaker 1: by it because I did think Cat was was somebody
- 32:43Speaker 1: if I I think I put my I think I
- 32:45Speaker 1: made a bet with Ashley actually about Cat that she
- 32:48Speaker 1: would be there in the final three. I'm gonna lose
- 32:50Speaker 1: that bet. Now I was gonna say't I don't I
- 32:54Speaker 1: think five bucks m part man, don't don't don't ever
- 32:57Speaker 1: put too much on it. Yeah, okay, So we'll move
- 33:11Speaker 1: into the park of this episode that I thought was
- 33:13Speaker 1: just really weird. Clayton that it was very odd the
- 33:17Speaker 1: Brooklyn one on one date. Okay, Gabby gets the group
- 33:20Speaker 1: day gross from that group date, she's gonna be around
- 33:22Speaker 1: for next week. U not a shock really to anybody.
- 33:25Speaker 1: But now we move into Brooklyn one on one. Walk
- 33:27Speaker 1: us through this date. Well, I'm curious what you found
- 33:30Speaker 1: what you thought was weird about it, because I I
- 33:34Speaker 1: thought it was a cute date. Um. You know, they
- 33:36Speaker 1: start off riding bikes uh and uh and are going
- 33:40Speaker 1: around the city and it seemed like it was just
- 33:42Speaker 1: a nice, care free fund date. They both seemed to
- 33:44Speaker 1: be vibing while um you know. Then they go to
- 33:47Speaker 1: the to the bathhouse. It seemed like a lot of
- 33:49Speaker 1: bathing going on in this episode. Yeah, very clean. Maybe
- 33:54Speaker 1: they're trying to cleanse themselves with the spells and the
- 33:56Speaker 1: magic and all that. But um or or board a
- 33:59Speaker 1: prep yeah, before fantasy suites or hometowns whatever. So but
- 34:03Speaker 1: they go in that they meet the couple in the
- 34:05Speaker 1: in the bath. Um was a bathtub, I guess is it?
- 34:08Speaker 1: It's called a bath houthub? Yeah, okay, Um. And so
- 34:12Speaker 1: they meet the couple and uh and they had a
- 34:15Speaker 1: nice litt playful interaction as there as they were sitting
- 34:17Speaker 1: there talking and then um, and then they went off
- 34:20Speaker 1: on their own a little bit. And I thought it was,
- 34:24Speaker 1: I guess, not weird. I don't know, it seems it
- 34:26Speaker 1: seemed pretty par for the course. I mean, I'm curious
- 34:29Speaker 1: when you say weird, what what did you pick up
- 34:31Speaker 1: on it? Because I I thought it was I thought
- 34:33Speaker 1: there was chemistry there. Again, I think this just comes
- 34:35Speaker 1: down to um. It was probably a little bit too late,
- 34:38Speaker 1: a little too late. And I think Zach really liked
- 34:41Speaker 1: Brooklyn a lot, but just UM was was looking for
- 34:45Speaker 1: that that extra wow or this is gonna change the
- 34:48Speaker 1: way I feel. Um. And early on in the day,
- 34:52Speaker 1: you see it seems like there's a lot of you know,
- 34:55Speaker 1: there's a lot there's a lot of chemistry, and then
- 34:57Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you get to the end, You're like, whoa,
- 34:58Speaker 1: what happened? All the chemistry? Will think again, decision D
- 35:01Speaker 1: day came around the corner. But but what what did
- 35:03Speaker 1: you see? Because you're you're saying that was you were
- 35:05Speaker 1: a little it was a little off. So, um, what
- 35:08Speaker 1: what did you pick up on? Well, I'm with you.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Where the date portions seemed fine. Those I even kind
- 35:15Speaker 1: of skimmed through those that like mourning per like portion
- 35:19Speaker 1: of one on ones, just because I'm more interested in
- 35:21Speaker 1: the conversation that will happen in the evening because they're
- 35:24Speaker 1: fun and they're fine. There is chemistry, um, and and
- 35:28Speaker 1: they look like they're having a good time together. I
- 35:29Speaker 1: am interested this season where like the producer said, let's
- 35:33Speaker 1: let's bathe so often and then also let's connect him
- 35:36Speaker 1: in the bathing situations with people who are like older
- 35:40Speaker 1: and wiser and have been through stuff together. Um. That
- 35:43Speaker 1: must have been a theme this season is to just
- 35:45Speaker 1: implement Zach with as much wisdom and like inside as possible. Yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 1: if they're baptizing him or something, Yeah, they're cleansing him
- 35:53Speaker 1: of all his wrongdoings. But or you know, but I
- 35:58Speaker 1: think going back to I think it was the evening
- 36:02Speaker 1: portion that was confusing to me because if we go
- 36:04Speaker 1: back to the perspective that that Zach has been very
- 36:07Speaker 1: decisive and who and why he's sending people home, and
- 36:09Speaker 1: he's doing it, you know, because he's keeping the connections
- 36:12Speaker 1: that he has, then are we saying that he knew
- 36:17Speaker 1: going into this one on one with Brooklyn that this
- 36:19Speaker 1: was going to end this way and if it's not
- 36:23Speaker 1: that and you and I want to know, like do
- 36:26Speaker 1: leads go on these one on one saying Hey, this
- 36:29Speaker 1: is kind of a make or break in my mind,
- 36:31Speaker 1: Like I'm asking this person go on on one on
- 36:33Speaker 1: one at this specific moment in this time because if
- 36:37Speaker 1: it's not, like it's good and it's fine, but it's
- 36:40Speaker 1: not great yet and maybe this one on one can
- 36:42Speaker 1: change that. And if it's not, then you know, this
- 36:44Speaker 1: is my way of telling them to buy at the end.
- 36:48Speaker 1: From my perspective, I did that once where I had
- 36:52Speaker 1: somebody on one on one kind of feeling that way,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and I just we had had such a good time
- 36:58Speaker 1: together that I wanted to do it in a one
- 36:59Speaker 1: on one more than I wanted to do it at
- 37:01Speaker 1: a rose ceremony. I guess I thought maybe like it
- 37:04Speaker 1: would just be a more respectful way to do it.
- 37:07Speaker 1: But did you ever do that? Is this common? Well
- 37:10Speaker 1: I was gonna say, just to jog my memory. Did
- 37:12Speaker 1: he got emotionally when he sent Brook at home? Right?
- 37:15Speaker 1: He did? Yeah, he did. He got flustered, I would say,
- 37:19Speaker 1: like emotional and like flustered. He he had to take
- 37:22Speaker 1: a breath, which is where I think for me, the
- 37:25Speaker 1: weirdest part of the whole thing happened where he got
- 37:27Speaker 1: up and walked away from the table in the midst
- 37:29Speaker 1: of a very heavy, a very like vulnerable moment. He
- 37:32Speaker 1: said I need to get a breath, and then he
- 37:34Speaker 1: came back and like, I just felt like that was
- 37:37Speaker 1: weird Clayton, Like, I don't know about you, but when
- 37:39Speaker 1: somebody's opening up to you on this show in these moments,
- 37:44Speaker 1: like you and I don't have the right or ability
- 37:46Speaker 1: to get up from that table, like even if we
- 37:49Speaker 1: have to send them home, like a breath is not
- 37:51Speaker 1: something that we are privy too. You have to either
- 37:54Speaker 1: lean in and be like, hey, let's like think Like,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I don't know, like I appreciate hearing all this, and
- 38:00Speaker 1: I know that this was hard for you to do
- 38:02Speaker 1: on national television. Um, but I'm gonna sit here with
- 38:04Speaker 1: you right now and say, as much as I respect
- 38:06Speaker 1: you as a person, this relationship isn't feeling what I
- 38:09Speaker 1: thought it was. It just felt sudden, odd and like
- 38:13Speaker 1: out of nowhere to me. Yeah. So I think what
- 38:17Speaker 1: happened was Zach started having second guesses with Brooklyn. I
- 38:20Speaker 1: think I think I think Zach just my opinion. I
- 38:23Speaker 1: think Zach came into it and thought, um, I kind
- 38:27Speaker 1: of already had my mind made up with who who's
- 38:29Speaker 1: going to hometowns? Because again, like I don't think and
- 38:33Speaker 1: you can attest this going to hometowns. I knew, um
- 38:37Speaker 1: almost I was almost positive who the four would be,
- 38:39Speaker 1: but there was I was a little hesitant, um with
- 38:42Speaker 1: like the last the last two individuals, And so I
- 38:44Speaker 1: was I did have a decision to make that weak
- 38:47Speaker 1: as far as Okay, I know these these two arena
- 38:49Speaker 1: are gonna definitely be there, but what about the third individual?
- 38:52Speaker 1: I don't know. Um. And So what I think happened
- 38:56Speaker 1: was Zach went into that date thinking I'm gonna have
- 39:00Speaker 1: fun with her, but like I'm not. It's just there's
- 39:02Speaker 1: not enough here. And we're going to you know, have
- 39:05Speaker 1: to move on. And then what happened I think is
- 39:06Speaker 1: he started the second guess and and stepped aside and thought,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I don't know, like maybe I do want her to
- 39:12Speaker 1: go to hometowns. But then he steps aside, And of
- 39:15Speaker 1: course you can't say this to her, but he probably
- 39:17Speaker 1: step aside and think, Okay, now if I'm if I'm
- 39:20Speaker 1: second guessing, and she's going to make it to hometowns,
- 39:22Speaker 1: then who's not going to make it to hometowns? Now?
- 39:24Speaker 1: So I had this list, you know, this, these these
- 39:27Speaker 1: these four individuals. Now, I'm I might plug her into
- 39:30Speaker 1: Who am I going to pull out of that spot?
- 39:33Speaker 1: So that's what I think might have happened to him. Um,
- 39:36Speaker 1: And I'd love to hear, you know if if you
- 39:38Speaker 1: had a similar situation I did, between bringing um, whether
- 39:42Speaker 1: I was going to bring Serene to um, you know,
- 39:46Speaker 1: or to hometown or no, sorry, I'm going on, I'm
- 39:48Speaker 1: a week ahead here, um, whether I was going to
- 39:51Speaker 1: I think it was between Teddy and Eliza um to
- 39:55Speaker 1: bring them to like my hometowns. It was. It was
- 39:58Speaker 1: I was back and forth between do I bring one
- 40:00Speaker 1: of those two and some of my in my final
- 40:02Speaker 1: four I don't bring UM, and you start to realize,
- 40:05Speaker 1: like some of these individuals I would be proud to
- 40:08Speaker 1: like meet their family and have them meet mine. So
- 40:11Speaker 1: it can become overwhelming as you get in this situation
- 40:14Speaker 1: where you're like and standing in front of me right now,
- 40:15Speaker 1: I can see a future with you, but I have
- 40:17Speaker 1: other people involved. I think he just had second guesses
- 40:20Speaker 1: and um, and that's where he bird. So m I
- 40:24Speaker 1: know because I've I was. I felt that similarly. But
- 40:27Speaker 1: did you ever did you ever have that or did
- 40:29Speaker 1: you feel that? Yeah, you went into it and you're like,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I know this is where I'm at with each of
- 40:33Speaker 1: these people, and after the date, your your opinion was validated.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Or did you ever have those moments where that the
- 40:41Speaker 1: date caused you to make a one a D and
- 40:44Speaker 1: flip the script. Sure, make a one a D and
- 40:47Speaker 1: flip the script. Definitely, Uh, dates, one of the ones
- 40:49Speaker 1: especially were always big for me. I think with this situation,
- 40:53Speaker 1: UM and I could be and you know it was.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It never happened to me in my life where I've
- 41:02Speaker 1: gone on a date and somebody's been vulnerable with me
- 41:08Speaker 1: about like real life stuff and that's that's like made
- 41:11Speaker 1: me less confident in my relationship with them, And it
- 41:15Speaker 1: felt like here and she's opening up and telling him
- 41:19Speaker 1: all these things and if he had any questions in
- 41:21Speaker 1: his mind. In my mind, I'm going, if I was
- 41:24Speaker 1: at all interested in this girl romantically, her telling me
- 41:27Speaker 1: her life story and the way that she is would
- 41:30Speaker 1: make me feel even closer to her, because she obviously
- 41:33Speaker 1: cares to share this with me. And so I'm just
- 41:36Speaker 1: confused on at what point during this conversation something hit
- 41:39Speaker 1: his head where he's like, Yeah, I'm not into this anymore.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Like this this out has the script has changed, and
- 41:45Speaker 1: now I'm less confident in our relationship than I was
- 41:47Speaker 1: before because all she's doing is deeply expressing the pains
- 41:53Speaker 1: and the struggles of her childhood and what's led her
- 41:57Speaker 1: to where she's at today. And then all of a sudden,
- 41:58Speaker 1: he goes, I need a breath, come back and breaks
- 42:00Speaker 1: up with her, and I'm going, that never happened, That's
- 42:03Speaker 1: never happened to me on the show or in real life. Yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I think people I kind of called me out for
- 42:10Speaker 1: doing things similar, So I guess I can speak to
- 42:13Speaker 1: this a little bit. Maybe I don't know if you
- 42:17Speaker 1: want to call it, yeah, lack of empathy. I think,
- 42:20Speaker 1: what what ends up happening? What happened in my mind
- 42:24Speaker 1: in those moments when someone shared something and people go,
- 42:26Speaker 1: he's not crying or he's not consoling them. He seems cold.
- 42:30Speaker 1: You know why is this? It's because you know I
- 42:33Speaker 1: had either already felt that pain, like I had already
- 42:36Speaker 1: lived that as far as like the breakup, I'd already
- 42:38Speaker 1: lived that experience, like I had struggled behind closed doors
- 42:41Speaker 1: and was like, already made this decision in my head's
- 42:43Speaker 1: already felt this pain. So you didn't. So because I
- 42:46Speaker 1: had to make this decision because there's other people here,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and so these are the individuals. Don't I want to
- 42:50Speaker 1: move forward with this person? I can't. So there's this
- 42:55Speaker 1: closing off and shutting down and it's not it's something
- 42:58Speaker 1: that again I think, is it a lack of maturity?
- 43:01Speaker 1: I don't know. It depends on the individual, but for me,
- 43:03Speaker 1: it was lack of maturity. But you when you make
- 43:07Speaker 1: this decision, you shut down. You go, Okay, I made
- 43:09Speaker 1: my decision, and I can't allow myself to be emotional
- 43:13Speaker 1: because I may make an emotional based decision and rationally speaking,
- 43:17Speaker 1: I've made this decision to end things with this person,
- 43:21Speaker 1: so I have to shut down the emotion. I have
- 43:24Speaker 1: to just cut it off right here. I cannot allow
- 43:27Speaker 1: it to drag on. And I think that's that's again
- 43:31Speaker 1: me giving the benefit of the doubt to Zach. And
- 43:34Speaker 1: of course, like his whatever he says is what I would,
- 43:38Speaker 1: I would choose to believe as far as how he reacted.
- 43:40Speaker 1: But my thought is that he was like, I just
- 43:43Speaker 1: made this decision and like I'm getting to emotionally invested.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I have to protect myself because I'm afraid I could
- 43:47Speaker 1: make an emotional based decision and maybe possibly keep her
- 43:50Speaker 1: around or like get tied up and then give a rose.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And now all of a a sudden, okay, if I give
- 43:55Speaker 1: a rose in this moment out of emotion, now what
- 43:57Speaker 1: about the other people that I already made a decision on.
- 43:59Speaker 1: I just it's just never cut and dry. I guess,
- 44:01Speaker 1: I don't, I know. That's my thought is maybe he
- 44:04Speaker 1: just felt like I have to shut this down, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: he closed off, and I was like, this is done,
- 44:07Speaker 1: this is over. And yes, he could have been more
- 44:10Speaker 1: consoling and could have been more caring. Um, But sometimes
- 44:14Speaker 1: I think we maybe I'm not gonna say it just
- 44:16Speaker 1: as men, but sometimes we can just shut down and
- 44:18Speaker 1: when it's done, it's done, and we're just we just
- 44:20Speaker 1: are like I have to this is it, This is it.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I don't want to open this back up. I think
- 44:25Speaker 1: it goes to our two points. One. I might think
- 44:28Speaker 1: that Zach has the worst timing, not to his fault,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I think he just has like like there's many situations
- 44:35Speaker 1: now where either his timing and like how people are
- 44:38Speaker 1: expressing themselves to him, and when he's already decided what's
- 44:41Speaker 1: going to happen might be the worst I've ever seen
- 44:44Speaker 1: on this show, Like he might just be getting like
- 44:47Speaker 1: I bet he's laying in bed at night because I
- 44:49Speaker 1: remember these thoughts being like goodness gracious, Like I can't
- 44:53Speaker 1: seem to like catch a break here, Like every time
- 44:56Speaker 1: I've made up my mind, which is hard to do
- 44:58Speaker 1: in itself, to say, somebody home that you respect and
- 45:01Speaker 1: care about. They're also using that time to like really
- 45:05Speaker 1: pour themselves out to about their life, and then I
- 45:08Speaker 1: have to end it like send them home like that
- 45:11Speaker 1: I'm guessing at some point and maybe when we get
- 45:13Speaker 1: them on the podcast, I can ask them like, how
- 45:15Speaker 1: many nights had you spend going goodness? I can't catch
- 45:18Speaker 1: a break like this. There's not been one easy one
- 45:21Speaker 1: ear well and two I'll say this that something just
- 45:24Speaker 1: popped up my head. There was somebody that opened up
- 45:26Speaker 1: on the show to me. They got very vulnerable. I
- 45:29Speaker 1: was going to send them home that night, but I
- 45:32Speaker 1: didn't because they got very emotional and vulnerable, and I
- 45:35Speaker 1: was like, I cannot send them home right now. I'm
- 45:37Speaker 1: going to keep them a little while longer. And that
- 45:42Speaker 1: came back to bite me. They ended up starting up
- 45:44Speaker 1: some drama in the house. They ended up like I
- 45:48Speaker 1: also just was like my opinion, my feelings on them
- 45:51Speaker 1: didn't change. I still was like I need to send
- 45:52Speaker 1: them home, so it wasn't fair to keep them longer.
- 45:56Speaker 1: And so this is this is what happens where it's like,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I mean, I did I kept some around and say, Okay,
- 46:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold on to them because I can't. I
- 46:03Speaker 1: can't break things off right now as they're opening up
- 46:06Speaker 1: to me. What ended up happening. I kept them around longer.
- 46:09Speaker 1: It's kind of backfired. They they started to throw up
- 46:11Speaker 1: some drama in the house and then uh, and then
- 46:13Speaker 1: I also just kept them around, knowing I was going
- 46:15Speaker 1: to send them home, like my feelings didn't change, and
- 46:17Speaker 1: that's not fair to that person right to just like
- 46:19Speaker 1: make them think, oh, I said another night, there's a
- 46:21Speaker 1: chance when it's like, no, I kept you because I
- 46:23Speaker 1: didn't want to, like, as you're opening up to me
- 46:26Speaker 1: to say, oh, well, thank you for sharing that, and
- 46:28Speaker 1: I really feel for you, but I can't give you
- 46:30Speaker 1: this rose. So it's just like a really weird had
- 46:33Speaker 1: a hard environment because again, in the real world you
- 46:36Speaker 1: could just maybe wait a few days and pass off,
- 46:38Speaker 1: but in this environment, it's like you've got other people involved.
- 46:41Speaker 1: So okay, if you keep this person around, what's gonna
- 46:43Speaker 1: be the what's the cost, right, what's the cost to
- 46:45Speaker 1: doing that? Yeah? Well, either way, it's a shocking breakup. Um,
- 46:51Speaker 1: you know, no matter how you look at it, it
- 46:52Speaker 1: came out of nowhere. It was surprising. And so we
- 46:56Speaker 1: end this episode Clayton U with Aerial ABBY eighty charity
- 47:03Speaker 1: keeping roses going to hometowns. Cat is asked to go
- 47:09Speaker 1: home again. We've already talked about kind of how I
- 47:11Speaker 1: feel about that that it is shocking, it is emotional,
- 47:14Speaker 1: it was unexpected, Clayton. We have headlines to break down,
- 47:30Speaker 1: and so let's jump into those now. But before we do,
- 47:33Speaker 1: do you have a let's say now, because there's only
- 47:36Speaker 1: four left, a top two that you really think will
- 47:39Speaker 1: be there at the end for Zach and then and
- 47:42Speaker 1: then I want to know who do you think will
- 47:43Speaker 1: be the next Bachelor? Who? What season are you gonna
- 47:46Speaker 1: go on? Nobody wants me to come back. That'll that'll
- 47:50Speaker 1: be a jump scare if they see my my head
- 47:53Speaker 1: pop out the limo of it like round round three,
- 47:57Speaker 1: third times a charm baby, let's do it. Um. So
- 48:01Speaker 1: I think Katie is in there, no doubt. I'm gonna
- 48:03Speaker 1: say Katie Gabby. UM. I think those two are definitely UM,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I think those are the final two. I just survives.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I got um, I think, and so we'll see I
- 48:14Speaker 1: guess if I'm If I'm wrong, wouldn't be the first time.
- 48:16Speaker 1: So that's what's your final two? I would say, your
- 48:20Speaker 1: your spot on? UM, I don't know. I'm Abby, Um
- 48:24Speaker 1: in Charity are right up there together with me, like
- 48:27Speaker 1: I think I think they're the I think they're the
- 48:30Speaker 1: three right now with Katie that I would say could
- 48:34Speaker 1: be there. Then I think Cat's the next bachelorette. I
- 48:36Speaker 1: think it's. I think it's very clear to me that
- 48:39Speaker 1: she will be the next bachelort I bet they announced
- 48:41Speaker 1: her very soon. Um, okay, I guess you're just yeah,
- 48:45Speaker 1: you're not paying attention to or you're not looking at
- 48:48Speaker 1: all the chatter online and others certain people that think
- 48:50Speaker 1: other people maybe it's I've heard, I've heard it could
- 48:54Speaker 1: be possibly Charity, but I don't know. I mean, I well,
- 48:58Speaker 1: we don't know if she's gone or not. She I
- 49:00Speaker 1: view with Zach, so I can't even put her in
- 49:01Speaker 1: the right you're right, you're right, you're right. Yeah, Yeah,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess yeah, one thing is for sure,
- 49:08Speaker 1: as you can't trust what you see online, and I
- 49:10Speaker 1: think in these final four, I could see any of
- 49:13Speaker 1: them buying for that spot. So um, who knows. I
- 49:17Speaker 1: guess we just I'll just wait and see. As opposed
- 49:18Speaker 1: to just spout o my mouth off, well for who
- 49:21Speaker 1: we know has been not with Zach at this point,
- 49:24Speaker 1: because I don't know, and I don't read spoilers, because
- 49:26Speaker 1: that makes this show, in this job very hard to
- 49:29Speaker 1: not say things that are that I know already. I
- 49:32Speaker 1: think Kat has to be up there and then we'll
- 49:34Speaker 1: see how the weeks go on. Well, we're jumping in
- 49:37Speaker 1: the headlines. The first headline is about you, Clayton. We've
- 49:39Speaker 1: already talked about it in our previous episode, catching up
- 49:42Speaker 1: with you, about your time with Rachel and being with
- 49:45Speaker 1: her and the almost famous family in California. It's great
- 49:51Speaker 1: to have you, there's a lot of fun. Thanks for
- 49:52Speaker 1: doing it. And if you want to read about Zach's
- 49:56Speaker 1: or about Clayton's time with Rachel, you go back and
- 50:00Speaker 1: listen to last episode. But our next headline is about
- 50:04Speaker 1: our current bachelor, Zach. Zach responded to all the backlash
- 50:08Speaker 1: over that tense Zoom date with Greer. Now we spoke
- 50:14Speaker 1: a little bit about his relationship with Greer. This is
- 50:16Speaker 1: what Zach says Clayton watching it back, I completely empathize
- 50:21Speaker 1: with her, Zex said. I think she was really just
- 50:24Speaker 1: trying to connect and relate with me when I had COVID,
- 50:27Speaker 1: and really I was just already frustrated with everything kind
- 50:31Speaker 1: of you know, going on. You know, I definitely could
- 50:34Speaker 1: have delivered my sentiment and a lot more of a
- 50:37Speaker 1: respectful way, in a calmer way. It was just one
- 50:40Speaker 1: of those conversations. That was just off, no excuse, He says,
- 50:44Speaker 1: I should have responded better. So I totally, totally, one
- 50:47Speaker 1: hundred percent get where she's coming from. What do you
- 50:50Speaker 1: think of that? I think, you know, based off of
- 50:54Speaker 1: his response right there, I can forgive him for that
- 50:58Speaker 1: and say, hey, that's that's that seems like a sincere apology.
- 51:02Speaker 1: And I agree with what he said. He could have
- 51:03Speaker 1: done it better, He could have he um. I think
- 51:06Speaker 1: she was trying to relate to him, and he kind
- 51:08Speaker 1: of minimized her her feelings in that moment of saying,
- 51:11Speaker 1: you know what you're going through is when I'm going
- 51:12Speaker 1: through at all. Um. But again I also think that
- 51:16Speaker 1: you know, he was he had COVID, he was away
- 51:18Speaker 1: from the women. He was probably stressing out if I'm
- 51:20Speaker 1: losing time and I need this time to be able
- 51:23Speaker 1: to find my person. And so I think he let
- 51:25Speaker 1: his emotions just get a little bit involved and and
- 51:28Speaker 1: and and interject um and and and in a high
- 51:31Speaker 1: pressure environment. Again, like I see, I could see that
- 51:35Speaker 1: that's where it got the best of him. I think
- 51:36Speaker 1: he could have handled it better, But he said that
- 51:37Speaker 1: as well. So my thought is is, all right, Zach,
- 51:40Speaker 1: you you felt you could handle it better. You said
- 51:42Speaker 1: that you looked, you washed it back. You see where
- 51:44Speaker 1: she's coming from, and you realize where you made a mistake.
- 51:47Speaker 1: All right, forgiven, That's simple. So that's that's how I
- 51:49Speaker 1: feel about it. But what I don't know, what are
- 51:51Speaker 1: your thoughts on that? Yeah, I think it's always good
- 51:54Speaker 1: to admit when you're wrong. Well, Clayton, I've never made
- 51:56Speaker 1: this a secret on this show. I have a job
- 51:59Speaker 1: that I really want. I've never asked for a job
- 52:02Speaker 1: from the show. I've never begged for a job from
- 52:04Speaker 1: the show. But I've been asking now for two years
- 52:06Speaker 1: for this job. I think it would be my dream job.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I never knew I wanted it. But here's the headline,
- 52:13Speaker 1: Sexy Seniors look for TV love Everything in a note
- 52:16Speaker 1: about The Bachelor's Senior spinoff. The ABC reality show will
- 52:21Speaker 1: feature older lovers for the first time. Here's the article.
- 52:25Speaker 1: It says this, this is not my own words, pack
- 52:28Speaker 1: the bing gay and Little Blue Pills. The Bachelor producer
- 52:31Speaker 1: Mike Flie announced via Twitter that the long awaited, long awaited,
- 52:35Speaker 1: two years I've been saying, Clayton, please ABC just give
- 52:39Speaker 1: me an interview like I would love this show. I
- 52:42Speaker 1: would love to just be a part of it, like
- 52:44Speaker 1: I'll be the guy to pass out being gay in
- 52:46Speaker 1: blue pills. I just want to be around. I'm not
- 52:48Speaker 1: asking you to host it, that's a big ask. I
- 52:51Speaker 1: just want to be there. The Golden Bachelor is coming,
- 52:54Speaker 1: he tweeted, so you know we can. We've been waiting
- 53:00Speaker 1: for this. Mike Flis has been teasing this m as
- 53:04Speaker 1: I said, for a long time. Sounds like actually happening,
- 53:11Speaker 1: which is very exciting. So we don't need to go
- 53:15Speaker 1: too much into detail on this. It's just now feeling
- 53:17Speaker 1: like more official than ever. It sounds like something I
- 53:20Speaker 1: want to be a part of. And beyond, are you excited?
- 53:25Speaker 1: Will you watch a senior Bachelor dating show? I think
- 53:28Speaker 1: it would be fun because individuals at that stage of
- 53:32Speaker 1: their life, they've lived a lot of life, They've had
- 53:34Speaker 1: a lot of experiences. They've they've learned their strengths, there's
- 53:37Speaker 1: their weaknesses, and then and more than ever, they're not
- 53:40Speaker 1: finding themselves. They've probably found themselves. I'm not saying like
- 53:44Speaker 1: they've all got it figured out, but um, currently you
- 53:46Speaker 1: have a lot of individuals that are in there early
- 53:48Speaker 1: to late twenties that are still figuring out what they
- 53:51Speaker 1: want in life. And so I don't think you'll have
- 53:54Speaker 1: that dynamic and said, you'll have someone that really knows
- 53:56Speaker 1: what they want. They got no time to bs, you know, around,
- 53:59Speaker 1: beat around the bush, so like, hey, I'm here and
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm ready for um. And so I think that'd be
- 54:04Speaker 1: exciting because it'd be a different dynamic. I mean, gone
- 54:06Speaker 1: would be the days of you know, we wouldn't have
- 54:08Speaker 1: to question if people were there for the wrong reasons.
- 54:10Speaker 1: And because I don't know if many, um you know,
- 54:13Speaker 1: seniors that are looking to be Instagram influencers. But you know,
- 54:16Speaker 1: I think that that wouldn't be a dynamic, but it'd
- 54:18Speaker 1: be fun to watch. And um, I know that they'll
- 54:21Speaker 1: bring on some some some you know, probably really fun personalities.
- 54:24Speaker 1: And they had someone pop out on my my limo
- 54:27Speaker 1: and she she came out and she was like, I'm
- 54:29Speaker 1: not actually here for you. They tease it, and then
- 54:31Speaker 1: she got like, hey, you don't gotta get back in
- 54:32Speaker 1: the lad Now I know the articles that she was
- 54:36Speaker 1: sixty three. I said, where I said, oh, yeah, I
- 54:38Speaker 1: like you can stick around. I like I like older women.
- 54:41Speaker 1: So uh no, I think it would be a fun show. Um,
- 54:45Speaker 1: and there'd be so many different dynamics of play that
- 54:47Speaker 1: we haven't seen because individuals at that stage of their
- 54:50Speaker 1: life just I think, operate a little bit differently than
- 54:53Speaker 1: individuals in the early twenties UM to mid twenties. So
- 54:56Speaker 1: you would you it would be fun and I probably
- 54:57Speaker 1: would tune in. Yeah, I'm pumped. I think it's gonna
- 55:00Speaker 1: be the greatest show ever. I think there's so much
- 55:02Speaker 1: to this that I would love. So we'll see if
- 55:04Speaker 1: it happens. It's being teased to happen, Clayton. That's all
- 55:07Speaker 1: we got today. Thank you again for doing two episodes
- 55:10Speaker 1: with us this week. Obviously, Episode one is catching up
- 55:13Speaker 1: with you. Episode two we're breaking down this week's episode
