- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Let's crack on and let's build your business.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Okay, or to be one, right?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: You know, I believe that everybody can learn to become an entrepreneur.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I genuinely do.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Like, genuinely.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Like you might not be born a natural entrepreneur, but you can learn that skill set because I wasn't born a natural entrepreneur.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: As you saw in yesterday's podcast, you know, I was talking about my early days in business where I was making mistakes and, you know, having problems.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: And I want you to understand that's all part of the journey of being an entrepreneur.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Like being an entrepreneur is is is is if I could sum it up in one sentence, it's about sacrificing what others won't sacrifice to get what others will never get.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And let me say that again: sacrificing what others won't sacrifice so you can get what others will never get.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So if you're prepared to dedicate time to learning about entrepreneurship, to learning about business, learning about property, you can have a life however you want to write it.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And that is the beautiful part of being an entrepreneur.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You literally can write your destiny and write your future, but you have to understand that being an entrepreneur takes sacrifice.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: And this sacrifice is the thing that sets you apart from people who stay in jobs.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm not against employees and I'm not against people that you know refuse to leave a job.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Listen, I I envy employees sometimes because it is the easier route.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And I will slap you silly if you tell me being an employee is harder than being an entrepreneur.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: I will literally drive to your house and slap you silly.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I'm kidding, but you get my point here.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: An employee has safety.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: An employee, you get paid at the end of each month.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: An employee, you clock in at nine, you go home at five, working your different shift patterns, whatever.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: An employee, you don't have any risk.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: You don't have any um any like involvement if the business is going under.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: You don't have to worry about where the payroll's coming from.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: You don't have to worry about invoices that are late.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: You don't have to worry about customers that are thinking of going somewhere else.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: You don't have to worry about the online reputation of your brand or your business.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: You don't have to worry about customers that are complaining.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, at 5 p.m., you clock off and you go home.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: As an entrepreneur, you have to wear every single one of them hats.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: You have to understand that you're responsible for your brand.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: You're responsible for your sales, you're responsible for your marketing.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: You're responsible for getting up in the morning and making shit happen.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: You're responsible for believing in your dream because nobody else will believe in your dream the way you do.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: You are responsible for the sacrifice that has to happen in order for you to give and get what you want for the rest of your life, for you, your family, and your loved ones.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: And what you know sets an entrepreneur apart from an employee is that ability to say, I'm gonna keep going no matter what happens.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna keep going no matter how many times I get rejected, I'm gonna keep going no matter how many times somebody, you know, fucking tries to slander you, or somebody criticizes you, or somebody laughs at a video you do, or somebody leaves a fucking dumb shit comment in a social media post and mocks your business or mocks the fact that you're doing social media videos, your ability to put your middle finger up and say fuck you is the is the defining the the defining part of whether or not you'll be successful.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: It's having the strength to carry through, the strength to do, the strength to stand alone when nobody else will stand with you.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: The strength to know that your loved ones, your friends, your family, the closest people to you secretly want you to fail.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: They won't admit it, but they're waiting for the day for you to fail so they can say, I told you so.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And the reason why it's not a personal thing to you is because you trying to do something different highlights that they have never done that.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: You need to realize that your biggest fan, your biggest supporter might be somebody you've never met, you don't know, but they've seen a video of something you've done online and that's made them awake that day.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: That's made them lively that day.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: And an entrepreneur is somebody who can get up every single day and keep going even though the results aren't coming.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Somebody who can build the system even though it's not working, make changes, make a make adjustments, do whatever they've got to do to keep going.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: You see, employees give up.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: They give up easily.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: That's why they're employees.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs, they don't fucking quit.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs get up at 1 a.m.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: in the morning and they work.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs get up at 3 a.m.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: in the morning and worry about how they're going to keep the lights on in the business.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs worry about where the next paycheck is coming from.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And that's what keeps you an entrepreneur, and that's what keeps the lights on.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Because if you didn't have that worry, you would fall back into being an employee.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Because being an employee is the easy route.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: I'm sure you agree with this.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Listen, an entrepreneur is a wonderful thing.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Don't ever diminish it.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Don't ever diminish what you're doing.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Don't ever put yourself down for wanting to be an entrepreneur.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Your job is special.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Your job puts food in people's mouths.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Your job is to provide for your family.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: And I will take my hat off to any entrepreneur who is every single day doing what they've got to do to provide, doing what they've got to do to build a business, doing what they do to stand alone, doing what they do to stand tall, and do what they do to become a leader in their sector and in their industry.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: You know, for me, I only really started to see success when I entered into the world of property.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: And I was new to property when I entered into the world of property.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: I like I didn't know enough about it.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I didn't know anything about it.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: I had the same fears that you probably have right now.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: I had the same niggling doubts going through my voice and through my brain every single day.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Will this work for me?
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Will this be a success for me?
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Is this just another venture that I'm gonna try and it's gonna fail?
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Nobody will buy from me.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: I haven't got lots of money.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: You know, I could tell myself a hundred excuses to why, you know, when I was trying to become a property entrepreneur that it wouldn't work.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: But how about we stop telling ourselves why it won't work and start and start working and leaning into making it work and start envisioning what it looks like when it does work.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Because when I went into being a property entrepreneur, here's why I did it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: I did it because it was not linked to how many hours I worked.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: You see, my workshop, I was linked to how many hours I went to work.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: You know, I I charged per hour, and yes, I had some members of staff working for me, but I again it's still hourly based.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: It's not results-based.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Property is more results-based.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So you find a deal, you sell it, you get paid£5,000.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: You might work 10 hours to do that.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: So you're now in£500 an hour as opposed to£15 an hour.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: You buy a property, you sit back and you wait for it to uh um appreciate in value.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: Again, the work's been done, you're now sitting back waiting for the appreciation to happen, but in the meantime, you're making monthly cash flow that doesn't require you to be there day in, day out.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: The reality is being a property entrepreneur is what's gonna, you know, really set you free in your life.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And I chose property entrepreneurship for these reasons.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Number one, it gave me huge cash flow.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Number two, that cash flow I could invest into property investments, you know, buying property deals for myself that pay me passively.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: And whenever I work with a new client and teach them how to build a property business, I always sit with them and ask them, what's your current situation?
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: What is it you're trying to achieve, and what's the fastest route to get there?
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: 99.99% of the clients that come and work with me, they're starting with around 10 to 15,000 pounds.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: They haven't got 50,000 pounds to get started, they haven't got 100,000 pounds to get started.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: I have some that do, but most don't.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So you've got to then create a plan around becoming an entrepreneur in property to create huge cash flow.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: For me, I started off with property sourcing.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: This is where you do property sourcing for investors who want to buy the deals.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: So essentially you become a partner of an investor who's got half a million pounds in the bank.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: They don't have time, they don't have the inclination, they don't necessarily have the knowledge, but they've got the money.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: You fill the voids, you get paid anywhere from 3,000 to, well, name your upper limit, there is none.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: I started off doing that and I closed over 100 property deals in my first year.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: That gave me the capital to then invest and start buying properties, which I've done so and about a seven-figure property portfolio.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: So I've got my active investment through being an entrepreneur in property.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: I've got my passive investments by being an investor in property, both of them combined give me full financial independence, means I can work on my terms, never have to answer to anybody.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: I've got multiple streams of income through property and various other entrepreneurship activities.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: And I can do what I want to do when I want to do it.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: Was it easy?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: No.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: Was it worth it?
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: Hope you found today's episode useful.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Whatever's going through your head right now, whatever you're struggling with right now, understand why you're doing what you do.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: And when you really know what that is, you'll build a phenomenal business.
