- 0:51Speaker1: you know how we do every time, man. It's always good vibes around here at
- 0:54Speaker1: the Yeah Buddy Studios. So, uh, you know, we can't get this show started,
- 0:59Speaker1: keep this show going without, uh, our good co-host, man. I want y'all to make
- 1:02Speaker1: it live, make it loud for a good friend, Mr. Brandon Carson in the building,
- 1:04Speaker1: y'all. Hey everybody. Yes, yes, yes, y'all.
- 1:07Speaker2: How you doing,
- 1:07Speaker2: buddy? I'm doing good, man.
- 1:09Speaker1: I'm chilling, bro. Chilling. Yes sir.
- 1:11Speaker1: Yes sir.
- 1:12Speaker2: Busy week, or—
- 1:14Speaker1: Well, the studio caught on
- 1:16Speaker1: fire. Not the studio,
- 1:19Speaker1: but the bathroom. The bathroom in the studio, there was a,
- 1:23Speaker1: a electrical issue and stuff like that, so the ventilation fan
- 1:28Speaker1: ended up catching on fire. Uh, had to put it out.
- 1:32Speaker1: It was real crazy, things of that nature. Um,
- 1:35Speaker1: and when I say, um, podcast studio, I really just talked
- 1:39Speaker1: about my apartment, right? My apartment almost caught fire this weekend,
- 1:43Speaker1: so that was, um, that was a big thing. But,
- 1:46Speaker1: uh, taking that negative, turning it into positives,
- 1:49Speaker1: lots of things to look forward to this upcoming week. Um,
- 1:53Speaker1: um, so what, by the time this episode drops and stuff like that,
- 1:57Speaker1: I'll be out in I'll be in San Francisco working on, um, they're doing
- 2:01Speaker1: a film out there right now, so I'll be working 2 days on that.
- 2:04Speaker2: Um, you got a comedy show coming up too, right?
- 2:06Speaker1: I got a couple comedy
- 2:07Speaker1: shows. I just got, I just got booked for, um, um, the Punchline.
- 2:11Speaker1: I'm gonna be up at the Sacramento Punchline. I'll be up at Vacaville.
- 2:14Speaker1: Um, I'm gonna check that out. I'm gonna be at— I'm gonna— yeah, yeah,
- 2:18Speaker1: slide through, man. Slide through. I'm gonna be— yes, I'm gonna be at the Sacramento
- 2:21Speaker1: Punchline November 3rd. Uh, anybody wants the guest list, hop on the guest list.
- 2:24Speaker1: I got y'all. Uh, then the next day, November 4th,
- 2:28Speaker1: I'm gonna be at the, um, at the library in Vacaville
- 2:31Speaker1: for Miss Jen's, uh, comedy show. Shout out to Jen for bringing me back out
- 2:35Speaker1: there. And then, then that weekend, the 7th,
- 2:40Speaker1: is when we have the, um, the 8th annual— the 8th annual,
- 2:44Speaker1: don't get it twisted— the 8th Annual Wild West Film Festival.
- 2:47Speaker2: Okay.
- 2:48Speaker1: Wild West Film Festival back in full effect. So, um, that's going to be
- 2:51Speaker1: going down Uh, November,
- 2:54Speaker1: November 7th. And that's,
- 2:58Speaker1: uh, Wild West Film Fest. Like I said, that's our 8th year doing it.
- 3:02Speaker1: Um, if you don't know, it's like a— it's a film festival dedicated to nothing
- 3:04Speaker1: but Wild Western films and things of that nature. So cowboys,
- 3:09Speaker1: Indians, Native Americans. Um, so that's
- 3:13Speaker1: gonna be a good time. So look for that. So the comic— no, comic shows
- 3:15Speaker1: about to be booking, so the schedule is filling up. So I'm looking forward— it's
- 3:19Speaker1: going to be a busy, busy November. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker2: nice, man.
- 3:22Speaker1: Yes, sir.
- 3:23Speaker2: Well, uh, I've got a film almost done,
- 3:26Speaker2: uh, buddy. So I've been working on it for quite a while and just got
- 3:30Speaker2: the music done with that. And so the next step is color grading.
- 3:34Speaker2: Takes a long process to make a film, as you know. And, uh, I'm just
- 3:38Speaker2: really proud that I'm at the finish line for this. And so excited to,
- 3:42Speaker2: to get that out there.
- 3:43Speaker1: And is— do you have the name of the film?
- 3:49Speaker2: Uh, in terms of, um,
- 3:54Speaker2: uh, it's like a fugitive that seeks refuge in a church.
- 3:58Speaker2: That's what it's about.
- 4:00Speaker1: Okay. Yeah, you go into
- 4:03Speaker1: a little bit more detail about like, you, you wrote it?
- 4:05Speaker2: Yeah, I wrote it,
- 4:06Speaker2: I produced it, and acted in it. And so it's,
- 4:09Speaker2: it's been a long process, but um,
- 4:12Speaker2: the editing, as you know, can take a while, and people's schedules.
- 4:16Speaker2: So that's like a big thing with filmmaking is like making sure that
- 4:20Speaker2: everybody's film, uh, like coordinating schedules
- 4:24Speaker2: and all the logistics that go into that. And so post-production can take
- 4:28Speaker2: quite a while. But, uh, yeah, it's pretty exciting.
- 4:31Speaker1: Yeah,
- 4:31Speaker1: no, trust me, if anybody knows anything about post-production taking a while, it's me,
- 4:35Speaker1: because everybody knows that, that almost 30 took,
- 4:39Speaker1: uh, a good minute to get out of, of post-production and stuff like
- 4:43Speaker1: that. But no, no, I'm glad to see it's— because I remember he was talking
- 4:46Speaker1: about it and stuff like that. So I'm glad to see it's,
- 4:49Speaker1: um, it's getting ready to hit the finish line.
- 4:52Speaker2: Yeah, so it will this year. Yeah, we'll get it done this year.
- 4:55Speaker1: Dope,
- 4:55Speaker1: man. Dope, man. Then what do you think you're gonna do for— with it once
- 4:58Speaker1: it all gets, um—
- 4:59Speaker2: I'm gonna submit it to Modest Film
- 5:02Speaker2: Festival. It's like a not a festival, but it's where you screen
- 5:05Speaker2: films here locally. So we'll start with that and, and we'll see,
- 5:09Speaker2: uh, how audiences react to that and then just kind of build off that.
- 5:13Speaker1: Okay, dope, dope, man. Looking forward to see what it is, man. Busy, busy,
- 5:17Speaker1: busy, busy into, into the year. So, um, that's going looking
- 5:20Speaker1: good. And then, um, with the SAG-AFTRA Next Gen, we got,
- 5:24Speaker1: um, kind of the blueprint for what we want to do going
- 5:28Speaker1: into next year. So A lot, a lot, a lot of good things to
- 5:32Speaker1: end this year, to take the momentum into, uh,
- 5:35Speaker1: 2027. So yeah, we, we ready to rock and ready to roll
- 5:38Speaker1: and stuff like that. Um, speaking of which, rocking,
- 5:41Speaker1: rocking and rolling, man, let's just get into this episode, yo. Let's get into this
- 5:44Speaker1: episode, man. We got, uh, a lot, a lot to talk about right now,
- 5:47Speaker1: man. Um, good highs, lows, and stuff like that.
- 5:51Speaker1: But you know how we do, we gotta talk about it in the Yeah Buddy
- 5:54Speaker1: or Nobody segment of this show. you know how we do, man. We just
- 5:58Speaker1: talk about certain topics that we've seen,
- 6:01Speaker1: articles, news headlines, and we just say, hey, is this a good
- 6:04Speaker1: thing or a bad thing? Is this a yeah buddy or nobody situation and stuff
- 6:08Speaker1: like that? So, um, yeah, let's just get into it right now. So first
- 6:13Speaker1: yeah buddy or nobody, um, topic we got going on right now,
- 6:17Speaker1: fresh off of the box office success of his hit
- 6:21Speaker1: movie Digger, Tom Cruise
- 6:26Speaker1: has been nominated to be the, um, to receive the Lifetime
- 6:30Speaker1: Achievement Award at the AFI Film Festival,
- 6:34Speaker1: or whatever that thing was. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:38Speaker1: So, uh, it's the 52nd,
- 6:41Speaker1: 52nd one. Uh, shout out to Tom Cruise. That was just jokes and stuff
- 6:45Speaker1: like that. That was just jokes. But, um, no, no, shout out to Tom Cruise
- 6:48Speaker1: and stuff like that. I kind of like this. I like this. I like that
- 6:51Speaker1: because I was joking about with Digger, but it kind of like coincides
- 6:56Speaker1: with how critically panned it was by the audiences.
- 7:00Speaker1: Mm-hmm. But you kind of see how everybody
- 7:03Speaker1: like within Hollywood, you know, and within the industry kind of really backed it.
- 7:07Speaker1: They'd be like, no, this is, this is what cinema should be. It's a,
- 7:10Speaker1: it's a, it's a work of art. It's an experiment, you know. It's— we're just
- 7:14Speaker1: putting things together and just you know, seeing how it goes.
- 7:20Speaker1: So that's just my little tidbit. I think that was their little, hey bro,
- 7:23Speaker1: don't worry about it, you know what I'm saying? Dust your shoulders
- 7:27Speaker1: off, you know what I'm saying? We'll get it.
- 7:29Speaker2: We got you.
- 7:29Speaker1: Yeah, yeah,
- 7:30Speaker1: yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:32Speaker2: But no, I'm a big
- 7:33Speaker2: Tom Cruise fan, like super. Like any,
- 7:36Speaker2: anytime he wins an award, it's, it's well earned because
- 7:40Speaker2: this guy's been in since the '80s, man. Like until now,
- 7:43Speaker2: and, and he's still going. I think it's inspiring
- 7:46Speaker2: what he does. That's what I personally
- 7:50Speaker2: want to— that I love his hustle and drive because he's not just
- 7:54Speaker2: acting, you know. He does his own stunts, he produces his own
- 7:57Speaker2: films. He's not just acting. So he
- 8:01Speaker2: is fully invested in all of his films from here on out.
- 8:05Speaker1: Mm-hmm.
- 8:05Speaker2: And he's doing stuff that nobody would want to
- 8:08Speaker2: do as an actor in terms of stunts. Like,
- 8:12Speaker2: these are things that could literally kill him, right?
- 8:16Speaker2: Like, yeah, like crazy stuff, like driving a motorcycle off a cliff. Like, I don't
- 8:20Speaker2: know about you, but I'm not gonna do that.
- 8:22Speaker1: No,
- 8:22Speaker2: there's no way you're gonna
- 8:24Speaker2: pay me to do that.
- 8:24Speaker1: No, not only that, but just the fact that,
- 8:27Speaker1: I mean, that's what stunt people are for, you know? So we pay them.
- 8:29Speaker1: I'm, I'm, that's, um, I'm that type of guy. Like, if this is what your
- 8:33Speaker1: job is to do, I, by all means, I'll let you do it, even if
- 8:37Speaker1: I think that I could do your job. if it's your job,
- 8:40Speaker1: I will let you do it.
- 8:41Speaker2: And he broke his— he broke his ankle on
- 8:44Speaker2: the set of Mission: Impossible, like diving from
- 8:48Speaker2: one building to the next, you know, and he just checked out.
- 8:51Speaker2: It was like, hey, did we get the take or not? And he got the
- 8:54Speaker2: take, but also delayed the production because, you know,
- 8:58Speaker2: he can't do Mission: Impossible with
- 9:02Speaker2: a broken ankle. Well, maybe he could,
- 9:03Speaker1: but
- 9:04Speaker2: I don't
- 9:05Speaker1: know, he could do
- 9:06Speaker1: it now with AI and stuff like that. They can just fix it or whatever.
- 9:08Speaker1: But at the same time, at the same point, like, yeah, he doing all these
- 9:11Speaker1: stunts and things of that nature. At some point in time, you just gotta look
- 9:14Speaker1: at it and be like, hey bro, you put it on yourself. Like, I can't
- 9:16Speaker1: feel bad about you, right? Break your ankle.
- 9:18Speaker2: He's still doing it, man.
- 9:19Speaker1: Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker1: that's what I'm saying. That's
- 9:20Speaker2: why
- 9:21Speaker1: I'm saying at that point I'm like, hey bro,
- 9:23Speaker1: just do your thing, man. Right.
- 9:24Speaker2: So, so he, he gets this award. He's—
- 9:26Speaker1: yeah.
- 9:27Speaker1: So yeah, no, yeah, definitely, definitely, man. Um, I think hopefully this doesn't uh,
- 9:31Speaker1: the success— the lack of success from Digger,
- 9:35Speaker1: hopefully that doesn't affect his, um, Oscar chances. Because like I
- 9:39Speaker1: said, for so long we've only seen Tom Cruise as the action star,
- 9:42Speaker2: right?
- 9:42Speaker1: To see him kind of take this different turn and like,
- 9:45Speaker1: no, I can still do this, um, on a serious level, or,
- 9:49Speaker1: you know, just a non-action, just running and gunning type of thing.
- 9:53Speaker1: So yeah, hopefully this doesn't affect his Oscar chances. Hopefully, you know— this AFI
- 9:57Speaker1: thing will just be the start of the, um, his, um,
- 10:01Speaker1: I don't know what you would even want to call it because there's no reason
- 10:04Speaker1: to be like embarrassed about everything like that. Just, it's just a matter of them
- 10:07Speaker1: just saying, hey bro, not everyone's gonna be a hit. That's all it
- 10:11Speaker1: is.
- 10:11Speaker2: Exactly. He's gonna be just fine.
- 10:12Speaker1: Yeah, he's gonna be cool.
- 10:13Speaker2: Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker1: he's gonna
- 10:14Speaker1: be cool. So yeah, the AFI Award, I'll give him that. I'll give him a
- 10:16Speaker1: yeah buddy for that. That's cool for me. I got no problems with that.
- 10:20Speaker1: Um, Next segment, next segment
- 10:23Speaker1: going on in the Yeah Buddy or No Buddy section. We've been following,
- 10:27Speaker1: uh, Miami Vice '85, kind of like the casting
- 10:31Speaker1: and what's going on behind the scenes. Uh,
- 10:34Speaker1: this past week or so there was a little bit of,
- 10:37Speaker1: um, action on an action movie, you know what I'm saying?
- 10:40Speaker1: Okay. In which a man was arrested for bringing a,
- 10:45Speaker1: a knife onto the film set.
- 10:48Speaker1: uh, run around like a lunatic. Again, this is why I say,
- 10:51Speaker1: man, why aren't you filming
- 10:55Speaker1: this movie in Miami? You
- 10:56Speaker2: know, there you go.
- 10:57Speaker1: No, I'm just playing. But this
- 10:59Speaker1: is— that— no, that is a very dangerous situation. Um, luckily nobody was
- 11:02Speaker1: harmed or hurt or anything of that nature.
- 11:06Speaker1: But these are just some of the crazy things that, that happen that you wouldn't
- 11:10Speaker1: expect, um, on a film set, even like a
- 11:14Speaker1: film set of this, this magnitude. When you're filming on, on the street That—
- 11:18Speaker1: you're exactly— street shit happens, man. Street shit happens. So unfortunately
- 11:23Speaker1: for that, have you ever had any crazy, like, experience on a film set like
- 11:26Speaker1: that?
- 11:27Speaker2: Not like that, buddy. Like, most of my stuff has been usually
- 11:31Speaker2: people wanting to be in the film, uh,
- 11:34Speaker2: but usually they have it covered. If you're on a bigger Hollywood
- 11:38Speaker2: set, they'll have the sign out there that says, you know, hey, we're filming,
- 11:41Speaker2: and so if you don't want to be in this film, you you don't
- 11:45Speaker2: want to like cross the street probably right now. But, uh, when you're
- 11:48Speaker2: on those bigger sets, I think they've got more security
- 11:52Speaker2: and stuff like that. But when you're on the smaller sets,
- 11:55Speaker2: you know, non-union type films, I think that
- 12:00Speaker2: kind of opens up maybe a can of worms, things that might potentially
- 12:05Speaker2: go wrong. But like for me personally, I haven't had anything like somebody
- 12:08Speaker2: bringing a weapon to set or anything like that.
- 12:12Speaker2: Knock on wood.
- 12:13Speaker1: No.
- 12:13Speaker2: Yeah, but no,
- 12:14Speaker2: I've had maybe like people playing pickleball outside
- 12:19Speaker2: of a set, you know, and we're trying to film. And so we're dealing with
- 12:22Speaker2: sounds, you know, but nothing crazy, man.
- 12:25Speaker1: Yeah, see, all my
- 12:27Speaker1: crazy experiences have happened on union sets. Oh, that's all that's ever happened on is
- 12:30Speaker1: just like with situations that be— that's somebody bringing a
- 12:34Speaker1: weapon onto a film set. Uh, one of the stories that
- 12:38Speaker1: brings to my mind— I don't even know if I want to say it and
- 12:40Speaker1: stuff like that, but the pigeon man story.
- 12:42Speaker2: What's that? Can you talk a little
- 12:43Speaker2: bit about it?
- 12:44Speaker1: I could talk about—
- 12:44Speaker2: talk about the film, but just tell it.
- 12:46Speaker1: No, I could talk. I could talk. It's just gross, you know what I'm saying?
- 12:49Speaker1: It's just a gross story, the pigeon man story. Shout out to my guy Johnny
- 12:52Speaker1: Walker though, he know the pigeon man story. So no, this happened on the set
- 12:56Speaker1: of, um, The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
- 12:59Speaker2: Okay.
- 12:59Speaker1: And so
- 13:00Speaker1: he was filming, um, uh, the Tenderloin area and stuff like that. So, you know,
- 13:03Speaker1: that's great with drugs and homeless people and stuff like that. And so
- 13:07Speaker1: we was filming, just filming the scene or whatever, and we
- 13:11Speaker1: was, um, I guess, you know, invaded the
- 13:14Speaker1: homes of the homeless, you know, the, the druggies
- 13:18Speaker1: on the, on the set or whatever. And so while we're in
- 13:22Speaker1: the middle, like, you know, filming the scene and trying to do this, this homeless
- 13:25Speaker1: dude just pants to the ground and stuff like that.
- 13:29Speaker1: Oh wow. Just come walking in the middle of the set and he's just
- 13:33Speaker1: He's just eating. He's just eating and shit like that.
- 13:36Speaker1: He was like, yo, what the fuck, bro? And, and when he walked
- 13:41Speaker1: past us, he fucking— because his pants is low, he like pants drop, he drops
- 13:44Speaker1: fucking food.
- 13:52Speaker1: Yo, feathers and everything. Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker1: just eat the fuck out of that shit. That shit was That's crazy. That shit
- 14:00Speaker1: was crazy. Um, and then what else
- 14:04Speaker1: happened? Um, I think on the set of The Matrix 4,
- 14:07Speaker1: we had people break into where everybody had their car parked. We had maybe about
- 14:11Speaker1: like 10 people have their catalytic converters stolen.
- 14:15Speaker2: Okay.
- 14:16Speaker1: I was like, how that happens? I don't know. You just literally just
- 14:18Speaker1: walk off a set like that. Um, what else has happened?
- 14:22Speaker2: Well, I had
- 14:22Speaker2: one where, uh, our haze machine like
- 14:26Speaker2: caused like, uh, the fire alarm to go off. And so the
- 14:30Speaker2: owner had to come out and like shut it off, right?
- 14:34Speaker2: Because like none of us knew how to stop this. And so that delays
- 14:38Speaker2: things, right? But, uh, nothing crazy, but you know,
- 14:42Speaker2: certainly memorable. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stuff like that.
- 14:44Speaker1: That's what I'm saying. That's what the
- 14:45Speaker1: one thing I noticed when I was like— like, not saying when I— when I
- 14:48Speaker1: wasn't doing like Young Union, like short films and things like that, but yeah,
- 14:51Speaker1: there was always Pretty, pretty tame, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, it is
- 14:55Speaker1: weird. Like, once for some reason— well, I guess this is why they need security,
- 15:00Speaker1: but wherever security is at, there's just
- 15:03Speaker1: a higher chance of something happening and shit,
- 15:05Speaker2: right?
- 15:06Speaker1: It's wild. It's wild.
- 15:07Speaker1: So, um, to a man fucking pulling
- 15:11Speaker1: a knife out or whatever, man, like, that's a nobody to me, man.
- 15:14Speaker2: Yes.
- 15:15Speaker1: That's a nobody for me, man. Get that shit up out of here. Get that
- 15:18Speaker1: shit up out of here. Nobody. Nobody. Uh, next thing
- 15:22Speaker1: we got up on the Yeah Buddy or Nobody, a little bit more serious,
- 15:25Speaker1: uh, more serious thing going on with all the mergers and
- 15:29Speaker1: the whole up and downs, and nobody knows the
- 15:34Speaker1: confusion of where the industry is going. There's been a lot of, um,
- 15:37Speaker1: industry layoffs going on, right? Just, you know, internally with different
- 15:41Speaker1: companies and studios, as well as unfortunately a lot of, um,
- 15:44Speaker1: SAG um, after actors who,
- 15:47Speaker2: you
- 15:47Speaker1: know, may have
- 15:48Speaker1: been in the, the union for about 25 years or however long
- 15:52Speaker1: it may have been, um, because of the work shortage, stuff like that,
- 15:56Speaker1: may have fallen behind all their dues and stuff like that. So now what's going
- 15:59Speaker1: on is they have until— shit, by the time this episode drops—
- 16:03Speaker2: November?
- 16:04Speaker1: No, till the end of this month. They got till the end of this month.
- 16:06Speaker1: They got 4 days. They got 4 days. They got October 31st
- 16:10Speaker1: to pay up any dues. If they don't pay those dues up, then they're gonna
- 16:13Speaker1: lose their membership. Like I said, it's a catch-22
- 16:17Speaker1: with the fact that, like, how you expect somebody to pay their dues if there's
- 16:21Speaker1: no union work. So
- 16:23Speaker2: that's rough,
- 16:25Speaker1: man. Yeah, so it's a rough situation. So what's going on with these industry layoffs
- 16:28Speaker1: that you was talking about?
- 16:29Speaker2: Yeah, so Paramount has already
- 16:32Speaker2: dropped 2,000 people, and that's 10% of their
- 16:37Speaker2: staff. So imagine losing 2,000 people all at once,
- 16:41Speaker2: you know. other individuals are going to have to pick up that,
- 16:45Speaker2: that work, though that support that you had is now gone,
- 16:49Speaker2: right? And so you still have to get the work done, right?
- 16:53Speaker2: So now it's going to be more— I feel like it's going to be stressful
- 16:57Speaker2: because you're losing people. It doesn't matter what industry you're in,
- 17:00Speaker2: if you're losing that many people at once, that's a
- 17:06Speaker2: nobody, right?
- 17:06Speaker1: Like, yeah.
- 17:07Speaker2: And so I think that what's concerning to me is,
- 17:11Speaker2: I think, with this merger that we've just
- 17:15Speaker2: seen, we're gonna see more layoffs,
- 17:18Speaker2: unfortunately. Like, this is just the start of it.
- 17:21Speaker1: Mm-hmm.
- 17:22Speaker2: And so I'm very concerned
- 17:26Speaker2: with, with that, because where does that leave
- 17:30Speaker2: the industry? Is that going to open up doors for independent filmmakers?
- 17:34Speaker2: are these 2,000 individuals in Paramount alone,
- 17:37Speaker2: are they going to find work? Or are they going to quit their dreams and
- 17:41Speaker2: move on to something else? A lot of people
- 17:45Speaker2: have just simply left the industry because they can't make a living,
- 17:49Speaker2: right? And so if you can't, you know,
- 17:52Speaker1: they— we— shit, it ain't a they thing, it's a we thing. We can't make
- 17:55Speaker1: a living. We ain't— we ain't— we ain't denying it. We ain't like, no,
- 17:58Speaker1: we up here working 9 to 5s and stuff like that. So it's not It's
- 18:01Speaker1: not a they thing, it's a we thing, you know. It's something that's going on.
- 18:05Speaker1: Um, like I said, the economy,
- 18:09Speaker1: every industry, every industry you look around is facing layoffs.
- 18:13Speaker1: And just every industry just happens to always make layoffs,
- 18:17Speaker1: unfortunately, around the holiday times.
- 18:20Speaker1: So it, so it's just, it's just extra heartbreaking because
- 18:23Speaker1: you have the fact that this is where you're supposed to be around family,
- 18:26Speaker1: you know, buying gifts, Christmas, whatever, you know. You want to be, you want to
- 18:29Speaker1: be festive, but it's hard to be festive when
- 18:34Speaker1: job or you don't have the job that you want.
- 18:38Speaker1: But like I said, with all that, with all that being said,
- 18:43Speaker1: it's, it's just, it's just the shape of the industry that we're in right now.
- 18:46Speaker1: It's something that as far as, um, a SAG-AFTRA
- 18:51Speaker1: standpoint and from the actor standpoint,
- 18:55Speaker1: it's— we gotta look at, look and look and look at for what it is
- 18:59Speaker1: and understand that These people who are making decisions for us,
- 19:02Speaker1: it's just like any other, you know, we talk about the government and things of
- 19:06Speaker1: that nature. The people who are making decisions for us aren't making
- 19:10Speaker1: the best decisions for us. And so it just comes down
- 19:13Speaker1: to a situation of where we tried
- 19:18Speaker1: to do strikes, it still didn't work. You know, we tried to play by their
- 19:21Speaker1: rules, you know, still didn't work. We see all these things
- 19:24Speaker1: with AI coming in and things of that nature.
- 19:28Speaker1: Eventually what's gonna end up happening is with this, you know, with the, the,
- 19:31Speaker1: us union actors say that it's what they're doing
- 19:34Speaker1: isn't right to us. We either gonna just start working off the card. It's gonna
- 19:38Speaker1: be like, what are you gonna do about it? Or your other options, FICOR.
- 19:42Speaker1: Or FICOR, you know, you know, that's your choice.
- 19:46Speaker1: One of the two, or it's, you could either get it right,
- 19:49Speaker1: you know, start really understanding But
- 19:53Speaker1: that's also what the actors, with us, understand, that this, this, this business that
- 19:57Speaker1: we're in, it's so lucky that we do have
- 20:01Speaker1: a union as it is to be able to regulate things,
- 20:05Speaker1: because we're really the only, um,
- 20:09Speaker1: entertainment form of live entertainment that has a union. You know,
- 20:12Speaker1: musicians don't have a union. Yeah, like, you see what's going on with these record
- 20:16Speaker1: labels, you know, the music industry and things of that nature. So for
- 20:20Speaker1: us just to even have a dog in the fight and have some sort of
- 20:26Speaker1: knowledge or say-so on how to unionize and how to get
- 20:30Speaker1: shit done the way we want things done, eventually it's
- 20:34Speaker1: going to be like, okay, we see the writing on the wall. We SAG-AFTRA,
- 20:38Speaker1: and even though it used to be SAG and then AFTRA, okay,
- 20:41Speaker1: now we're SAG-AFTRA, we're supposed to be one. It's not really like we're one.
- 20:45Speaker1: it's, it's us and them. And if it's us and them, well then,
- 20:49Speaker1: bitch, we just gonna do our own thing. Because as a SAG-AFTRA, as us being
- 20:52Speaker1: union members, we have the power to make any
- 20:55Speaker1: job we want a union job.
- 20:59Speaker1: And once we realize that, like, whatever we do, like whether it's this podcast
- 21:03Speaker1: as a union podcast, whether it's us doing a vertical thing, right, um, on our
- 21:07Speaker1: phones or whatever, verticals, whatever it may be, just— or whatever we do
- 21:11Speaker1: in our daily lives and stuff like that that we do, they do in front
- 21:13Speaker1: of a camera. We could turn that into a union project.
- 21:16Speaker1: Right. So the power is really in our hands to,
- 21:21Speaker1: even though we may not be able to shape the union the way we want
- 21:24Speaker1: to shape it, the power is in our control to really shape our careers
- 21:28Speaker1: the way we want to shape our careers because there
- 21:33Speaker1: are still opportunities for us to grow our careers. We just got to look at
- 21:37Speaker1: it and say, it just may not come from the way It's
- 21:42Speaker1: been sold to us in the past. Well, right. And I think another
- 21:45Speaker1: thing to look at is then what you just said
- 21:49Speaker1: about paving your own way, like creating
- 21:52Speaker1: opportunities for yourself while still searching
- 21:56Speaker1: for the work. You know, we have to go wherever the work is. If that's
- 22:00Speaker1: out of state, out of the country, wherever you can find the work, you'll go
- 22:04Speaker1: do that. And then you know, investing your time
- 22:08Speaker1: and also creating is huge. So if you continue to create,
- 22:12Speaker1: uh, whether it's writing, you know, your own material,
- 22:17Speaker1: doing your own stand-up, whatever, you know, and being that multi-hyphenate
- 22:21Speaker1: like yourself, like you, you're able to do that,
- 22:25Speaker1: to continue working in different areas. So I think that's
- 22:30Speaker1: why it's important to kind be broad in what you
- 22:34Speaker1: do in the industry. Yeah, we definitely— like I said,
- 22:37Speaker1: that's the times that we're in where you, you can't just be an
- 22:42Speaker1: actor. And nobody really— and how many people do you know nowadays work
- 22:46Speaker1: just one job anyways? When you look at the state, not too many.
- 22:50Speaker1: So just solely relying on saying,
- 22:55Speaker1: uh, uh, I'm an actor, as and believe that's going
- 22:58Speaker1: to be a reliable source of income. It's got nothing to do with the fact
- 23:02Speaker1: that as an actor— it's just got everything to do with the fact that the
- 23:04Speaker1: economy that we're in is that it's hard to sustain,
- 23:08Speaker1: uh, living a livable wage, you know, living it,
- 23:11Speaker1: living in this country with just one job.
- 23:14Speaker1: Right. Or you're taking a working vacation, right? Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker1: Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's,
- 23:21Speaker1: that's really what it is. So Um, it sucks. It's an
- 23:25Speaker1: unfortunate situation what's going on. So of course, you know, these industry layoffs,
- 23:29Speaker1: um, actors about to lose their, their SAG-AFTRA membership
- 23:33Speaker1: after, you know, um, working so hard for it and things like that. It,
- 23:37Speaker1: you know, to possibly lose that, they're not making it and not
- 23:41Speaker1: making enough money, not making enough money yet to help insurance, you know. And that
- 23:45Speaker1: goes— Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker1: Are making decisions for us, you know, why are
- 23:57Speaker1: we not getting a better percentage of, you know, uh, residuals from streaming
- 24:01Speaker1: and things of that nature? Why is it still such a, um,
- 24:04Speaker1: old school way of, you know, being able
- 24:08Speaker1: to survive when we know that's, that's not the times that we're in right now?
- 24:12Speaker1: Especially when you're talking about like with Um, you keep on bringing the subject up
- 24:16Speaker1: of AI, we keep on talking about, um, the industry becoming more
- 24:20Speaker1: industry, it's becoming more corporate, you know,
- 24:22Speaker1: corporatized. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of years,
- 24:27Speaker1: um, instead of auditioning for acting jobs, we're interviewing for them,
- 24:30Speaker1: you know what I mean? Well, the self-tapes have changed
- 24:35Speaker1: the game. You're all— you're having to create your own production.
- 24:38Speaker1: Self-tapes are so horrible, bro. Setting up the lighting,
- 24:41Speaker1: You're doing all the stuff. Self-takes are so horrible. It's crazy,
- 24:45Speaker1: man. And the quick turnarounds too. I had one where it's like they're
- 24:49Speaker1: expecting it read in a few hours, a few hours. Now,
- 24:53Speaker1: mind you, I booked the job, but I had roughly— Congrats.
- 24:57Speaker1: After 2 or 3 hours to
- 25:00Speaker1: prepare for this. And they're literally texting me on the phone while
- 25:04Speaker1: I'm like filming, wanting it
- 25:08Speaker1: right away. wanting to audition right away. Well,
- 25:12Speaker1: you, you probably might guess why that is, is because,
- 25:16Speaker1: you know, things happen where an actor, you know, bows out
- 25:20Speaker1: or something happens where they've got a quick turnaround. Like, and so
- 25:25Speaker1: I was able to meet that deadline, but not everybody is,
- 25:29Speaker1: right? Because— No. Top of the hat, you might get an audition right away and
- 25:32Speaker1: you gotta, you gotta do that as an actor. So that's
- 25:36Speaker1: your business. Like, if you have an agent,
- 25:40Speaker1: the agent's not going to like to hear that you can't get that self-tape done,
- 25:44Speaker1: right? Yeah, yeah. I understand on the show we complain,
- 25:47Speaker1: we may complain a lot about things and stuff like that, but understand the things
- 25:50Speaker1: that we're complaining about are blessings, you know. They're, they're, they're great things for us
- 25:54Speaker1: to, if to be complaining about, you know. Our— for sure, our problems
- 25:58Speaker1: are a blessing to be had. So, um, So, but like I said,
- 26:01Speaker1: unfortunately with that, yeah, that's gonna have to give me— I'm about to
- 26:05Speaker1: give a yeah buddy to all these actors that, you know,
- 26:08Speaker1: all these industry people that are losing jobs. But at the end of the day,
- 26:11Speaker1: man, um, keep, keep fighting, keep striving,
- 26:15Speaker1: and shit, we gonna, we gonna, we gonna create, we gonna carry on,
- 26:19Speaker1: we gonna carry on. Um, next thing up on
- 26:23Speaker1: the, on the docket, to keep on talking about the industry, you know, the industry,
- 26:26Speaker1: industry. Uh, Mr. Sylvester Stallone was just talking a little
- 26:30Speaker1: bit about— I believe he had like his daughter on a TV show.
- 26:34Speaker1: Yeah, Tulsa King. Tulsa King. And basically he was just going into how
- 26:38Speaker1: nepotism, like, if you, if you could do it, you would do it. Um,
- 26:41Speaker1: and nepotism has been like, for some reason, a topic of discussion
- 26:46Speaker1: specifically in this industry.
- 26:51Speaker1: Um, but like, I mean, if you can, you would. If you could, you would.
- 26:54Speaker1: I imagine it's your kid. If it's your kid, you would do this. Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker1: Absolutely. I think on the other side, I— and
- 27:03Speaker1: that's honestly not just the film industry, that's other lines of work.
- 27:06Speaker1: Like, if it's who you know, right? Yeah. And so I think
- 27:09Speaker1: if your parent has the in— and what, what Sylvester
- 27:14Speaker1: Stallone was saying was his daughter still has to continue. Yes,
- 27:17Speaker1: he can open the door, but she's still going to have to keep
- 27:22Speaker1: that momentum going. You know, he's not going to be able to
- 27:26Speaker1: help her book every single job. And ultimately,
- 27:30Speaker1: it's her work ethic, her talent, and all of this that's
- 27:34Speaker1: going to keep her going in the industry. Yeah, you get that one opportunity.
- 27:39Speaker1: What's that gonna do for your career moving forward?
- 27:43Speaker1: So yes, you can get in the door easier.
- 27:47Speaker1: But, but how long are you going to be able to sustain it? Yeah,
- 27:50Speaker1: that, that's what, that what plays into it.
- 27:54Speaker1: Mostly when people complain about, uh,
- 27:57Speaker1: nepotism and like they did, they're like, yeah, they, they are, yeah, they had helping
- 28:01Speaker1: it, but that's, that's part of earning it, you know, that's, that's part of
- 28:06Speaker1: winning. Like nobody was ever first without having the best person,
- 28:09Speaker1: you know, in their ear giving them, you know, advice and all this type
- 28:13Speaker1: of, type of stuff. And then going back to
- 28:17Speaker1: the whole, uh, like with the nepotism in the industry,
- 28:20Speaker1: like these are businesses. Right. And just like, you know, mom and pop shops,
- 28:24Speaker1: you know, maybe like a grocery store or whatever it may be, uh, auto shop,
- 28:28Speaker1: whatever, whatever business it is that you, you start up a business,
- 28:31Speaker1: you look at it, yo, I'm gonna pass this down to my child. It's the
- 28:35Speaker1: same thing with, with this acting career. It's just because Hollywood
- 28:39Speaker1: and the way they present it, like it's this dream and this fantasy and all
- 28:43Speaker1: these things that's so hard to obtain, that people look at it and it's like,
- 28:45Speaker1: oh, it's like, but it's There's ways into the industry
- 28:50Speaker1: without, without the nepotism, you know, primarily not being an asshole.
- 28:53Speaker1: That's the main thing, you know. And then
- 28:58Speaker1: just putting in the work and knowing how to kiss
- 29:01Speaker1: a little ass. Just know how to kiss a little ass.
- 29:05Speaker1: And also networking too. Networking, you know,
- 29:07Speaker1: making those connections because you need to be on people's
- 29:12Speaker1: radars. Because if you're not, it's like,
- 29:15Speaker1: it's usually that, you know, persistence that's going to
- 29:18Speaker1: pay off too. And I've gotten a lot of, I'm sure you have
- 29:22Speaker1: too, where you've gotten opportunities by people that you know,
- 29:27Speaker1: and they can rely on you because you work hard.
- 29:30Speaker1: Yeah. And so I think for me, for this,
- 29:34Speaker1: it would be, I guess, a yeah buddy in some ways
- 29:37Speaker1: because, you know, you're opening up the door for your kid. You can't
- 29:42Speaker1: be mad at that. No. Yeah, I give it— yeah, buddy, for that. I'm not,
- 29:44Speaker1: I'm not against nepotism. I'm just, I just, at the end of the
- 29:48Speaker1: day, we all could have been a product of nepotism if we chose to be,
- 29:52Speaker1: right? Like, if I chose to follow my parents' path, I'd been a nepotist because
- 29:56Speaker1: I sure as heck would have been calling up my folks like, hey, who do
- 29:59Speaker1: I need to talk to to, you know, move up here and make all these
- 30:02Speaker1: things happen? I just chose the path that nobody in my family has
- 30:06Speaker1: done, so Right. That's just— that's my choice.
- 30:09Speaker1: And you're paving your way. Yeah, I'm paving my way. So I'm just— that's my
- 30:13Speaker1: choice. So, um, uh, so yeah, yeah. So I say yeah, buddy for me.
- 30:16Speaker1: Anytime somebody looks out for their kid, I'm not mad at that. Anybody puts—
- 30:20Speaker1: anybody, anybody who puts their kid in a better position than, than,
- 30:24Speaker1: you know, they was at their age, I'm not mad at that at all.
- 30:27Speaker1: So that's— that, that gets, um, a yeah, buddy for me, most definitely.
- 30:30Speaker1: Shout out to nepotism.
- 30:36Speaker1: Fuck. All right, so, uh, next thing on the
- 30:39Speaker1: docket we have, we got the return of Johnny Depp.
- 30:42Speaker1: Johnny Depp is returning to the big screen, uh,
- 30:46Speaker1: later— shit, uh, this month,
- 30:49Speaker1: November. You know, when you listen to this podcast, you'll be hearing things
- 30:52Speaker1: about it. Uh, so his new movie Ebenezer is coming
- 30:56Speaker1: out in November, this holiday season. It's basically a retelling of Ebenezer
- 31:00Speaker1: Scrooge. And for this movie, they was doing a pretty cool little
- 31:05Speaker1: promo marketing for it. I'm not too hip
- 31:09Speaker1: to it or whatever, but you tell me what was going on with that.
- 31:11Speaker1: Right. So they basically set up a Venmo account as the
- 31:15Speaker1: character of Scrooge. And so you
- 31:20Speaker1: can send— we could do it right now if you want, like send a
- 31:23Speaker1: Venmo to Ebenezer requesting for that A penny
- 31:27Speaker1: for— no, just requesting for something, and Ebenezer
- 31:31Speaker1: is going to send you back a penny. That's it, just a penny? Just a
- 31:34Speaker1: penny. So if you, if you could think about it, if a million people asked
- 31:38Speaker1: for a penny, that'd be roughly $10,000 that they
- 31:43Speaker1: have to spend on this marketing. So it's not a lot,
- 31:46Speaker1: but I heard that even like the website went down at one point
- 31:50Speaker1: because so many people were trying to to get something from Scrooge.
- 31:55Speaker1: So I do think it's really creative. I haven't seen a marketing
- 31:59Speaker1: or have you? Like, this is really unique in
- 32:02Speaker1: a sense. And so it's kind of funny to me.
- 32:05Speaker1: And honestly, I think I'm gonna, I'm gonna try it out.
- 32:09Speaker1: I'm gonna, I'm gonna be the guinea pig and I'm gonna try it out and
- 32:12Speaker1: let you know what happens. Yeah, because when you said that, you said, we said
- 32:16Speaker1: to get a million people or whatever. I wasn't thinking about a million people
- 32:20Speaker1: to get $10,000. I was like, I need a, I need a million email I
- 32:23Speaker1: need a million email addresses, right? So I give me,
- 32:26Speaker1: give me a million different Venmo accounts, right? I just cash them out
- 32:30Speaker1: into the same, same bank account, which I give me $10,000. But yeah, I'm gonna,
- 32:33Speaker1: I'm gonna try it out and let you know what happens. All right, cool.
- 32:36Speaker1: Yeah, for sure. So this is the— are
- 32:41Speaker1: we excited to see Johnny Depp back on the big screen? If it's not Captain
- 32:44Speaker1: Jack Sparrow, do we really care? I mean, I like Johnny Depp.
- 32:48Speaker1: I, I just think that, you know, it, it's just another
- 32:52Speaker1: character role for him to kind of— Yeah, I don't think he can
- 32:56Speaker1: really present himself as Johnny Depp anymore. He's got to
- 33:00Speaker1: be, he's got to be, you know, character people, right? Like that.
- 33:03Speaker1: You can't be the guy that let his girlfriend shit in his bed.
- 33:07Speaker1: It's not gangster. Now it's
- 33:10Speaker1: just the Ebenezer. I mean, I'm gonna see it. You know,
- 33:14Speaker1: but am I super excited about it?
- 33:18Speaker1: Yeah, not really. Not really. That's the thing. I'm like, if it's not Captain Jack
- 33:22Speaker1: Sparrow, I'm like, I don't know if we really missed you that much.
- 33:26Speaker1: But glad to see you back working though. Um,
- 33:30Speaker1: so for the, for the cool little promo, the Ebenezer
- 33:33Speaker1: Venmo and all that good jazz, I'll give that a yeah, buddy. I'm always good.
- 33:36Speaker1: I'm always up for some good marketing and some good advertising. to get
- 33:40Speaker1: the fans, um, involved. Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm a Yeah Buddy yet.
- 33:44Speaker1: I'll let you know after I try it out. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, let me
- 33:47Speaker1: know. Yeah, you might just be like, man, fuck this thing. For sure.
- 33:52Speaker1: Yeah, take some tips from that too so you could learn, maybe like incorporate some
- 33:55Speaker1: of that into marketing for your, um, when your film comes out. Correct. I appreciate
- 33:59Speaker1: that. Yeah, most definitely. So, uh, right now,
- 34:03Speaker1: right now, that wraps it up for our Yeah Buddy or No Buddy segment of
- 34:07Speaker1: this show. Uh, right now we're about to move, move along and
- 34:10Speaker1: we move to the next segment. We call this right here the Box Office
- 34:14Speaker1: or Bombs, and this is where we kind of break down the box office
- 34:19Speaker1: from the previous week, break down our predictions, make future predictions,
- 34:22Speaker1: and just see what's going on. Uh, give our movie review for
- 34:26Speaker1: the film that was number one at the box office, if we saw it or
- 34:29Speaker1: not. And if we saw it or not, that's indicative of our review of whether
- 34:33Speaker1: it was good or not. All right, cool. So, um, let's get into this.
- 34:36Speaker1: Let's get into this. So, uh, last week at the box
- 34:40Speaker1: office, the big movie that opened up was Clayface.
- 34:44Speaker1: Um, I believe, uh, my prediction for that was $20 million.
- 34:48Speaker1: Uh, yours was in the $15 million, so you, you were closer.
- 34:52Speaker1: Closer. Uh, it came out, what, $24 million? $24 million was—
- 34:55Speaker1: yep, Clayface number 1 at $24 million. Uh, the documentary
- 34:59Speaker1: You Can See Everything, which opened up to more theaters Uh, that jumped
- 35:03Speaker1: up from $15 million up to $19.5 million. Uh,
- 35:07Speaker1: the new animated film Wildwood was number 3 at $12.2
- 35:11Speaker1: million. Street Fighter took a big-ass whooping,
- 35:15Speaker1: got his ass whooped that second weekend. Yeah.
- 35:18Speaker1: Uh, dropped to, um, $8.5 million.
- 35:23Speaker1: Um, and then Wicker, uh, opened up
- 35:27Speaker1: in limited release for $5.7 million.
- 35:30Speaker1: So that was your top 5 at the box office,
- 35:34Speaker1: and number 1 was Clayface. Uh,
- 35:38Speaker1: you said you didn't get a chance to see Clayface? No, I wish I,
- 35:40Speaker1: I got to see it. Yeah, I heard it's like body horror. Yeah, it was
- 35:44Speaker1: a lot of body horror. Um, I guess that was— I
- 35:48Speaker1: guess that's a genre of, of horror. Yes. I guess. Yeah, I'm not really
- 35:52Speaker1: into like that type of stuff. Well, really captivated
- 35:57Speaker1: me from watching the movie Clayface was because
- 36:02Speaker1: even though it's a DC movie, it takes place in like in Gotham or,
- 36:05Speaker1: you know, in the Batman universe type of thing. There is no
- 36:08Speaker1: mention of Batman, no mention of Bruce Wayne. There's no— even like, you know,
- 36:11Speaker1: police are involved, there's no mention of like Commissioner Gordon. There's absolutely no
- 36:15Speaker1: mention of anybody from like the Batman universe really outside. Oh man. Outside of
- 36:18Speaker1: Clayface, which then kind of made its, its own little movie.
- 36:22Speaker1: And then when you took, took that and just watched as his own movie,
- 36:26Speaker1: like me as an actor, it was cool to watch a horror movie take
- 36:30Speaker1: place in like a Hollywood setting
- 36:33Speaker1: and things of that nature, because then you kind of break down the psychology
- 36:37Speaker1: of what an actor will do to,
- 36:43Speaker1: to like maintain his fame, to stay on top. And then
- 36:46Speaker1: like, um, and then what, what he'll do once he falls to the
- 36:50Speaker1: bottom, what other people— like, just, just how seedy this business is, you know?
- 36:53Speaker1: It's just from a very, like, comic booky type of storytelling
- 36:57Speaker1: type of thing. But, but it, it, it was very telling
- 37:01Speaker1: of what this industry is, of what, like, what we're trying— what
- 37:05Speaker1: we're trying to pursue. Interesting, man. Yeah. Yeah. So that's one thing that I
- 37:08Speaker1: will take away from it. The CGI was pretty good. The,
- 37:12Speaker1: the— if we're talking about just being a horror movie, outside of that being a
- 37:15Speaker1: horror movie, It was a good horror movie, a lot of blood, a lot of
- 37:18Speaker1: gore. Um, and like I said,
- 37:22Speaker1: it'll be interesting to see how they're able to now take this.
- 37:26Speaker1: Um, no, actually it wouldn't be hard at all. That's the other thing too,
- 37:30Speaker1: like just to, just to throw them into like a Batman.
- 37:33Speaker1: Like if the— like let's say when they do The Brave and the Bold,
- 37:38Speaker1: like if they was just to throw— I'm assuming Clayface is going to be the
- 37:41Speaker1: first villain in the— in James Gunn's Batman movie, not the Robert Pattinson one,
- 37:44Speaker1: but James Gunn's Batman movie. I'm assuming that that's going to be the
- 37:48Speaker1: main villain. And it would just be the way the story told,
- 37:52Speaker1: because it's such a standalone movie or whatever, he could really just fit into
- 37:56Speaker1: the movie, the Batman movie, and the movie revolving around
- 38:00Speaker1: Batman. Nice. And him being a side character. And because the guy who played
- 38:03Speaker1: Clayface, he's not like a big A-list actor, he could still just
- 38:07Speaker1: easily slide it to like that supporting
- 38:11Speaker1: role. Well, it also worked for the Penguin,
- 38:16Speaker1: you know, Colin Farrell's, uh, Penguin too, you know, him having his
- 38:20Speaker1: own series as well. Like, I saw that. I saw— I watched all the episodes
- 38:24Speaker1: of that, and I really enjoyed that because he did such a great job.
- 38:27Speaker1: And so, yeah, um, if Clayface was good acting, I imagine
- 38:31Speaker1: that can— Acting wasn't the best. Acting wasn't necessarily the
- 38:35Speaker1: best. Okay. I wouldn't say— I wouldn't— I wouldn't go that far and stuff.
- 38:38Speaker1: I like— I wouldn't say the acting was the best or whatever. I mean,
- 38:40Speaker1: the dude, he did a good job or whatever. Okay. It wasn't— it wasn't terrible
- 38:43Speaker1: acting, but you didn't— but Colin Farrell's an A-list actor, right?
- 38:47Speaker1: There's no A-list actors in this movie, you know,
- 38:50Speaker1: B-list, things of that nature. Okay. Um, uh,
- 38:54Speaker1: the one, the one love interest in the movie, he was dipping in some chocolate.
- 38:57Speaker1: The, the one love interest in the movie is whatever, she was in, um,
- 39:00Speaker1: I Love Boosters with— that was directed by Boots Riley. So,
- 39:03Speaker1: um, I don't want to— I forget her name, but,
- 39:06Speaker1: but yeah, but she did a good job of that movie. Give a shout out
- 39:10Speaker1: to her. What was her name? Let me look it up real quickly. Come on,
- 39:12Speaker1: my phone.
- 39:18Speaker1: Yeah, I'll find it in a second. But, um,
- 39:23Speaker1: but anyways, um, yeah, no, yeah, shout out to her. She did a really good—
- 39:26Speaker1: the love interest in the movie, she did it. She did a really good job.
- 39:28Speaker1: And I said it does break down, like, if they didn't
- 39:32Speaker1: even want it to be like a comic booky type of movie, like where you
- 39:36Speaker1: know, he like— his hands turned into clay and he could just whatever,
- 39:39Speaker1: stuff like that. If they just wanted to be like more ground, like if he
- 39:42Speaker1: just had a normal weapon, like a knife or whatever, it gave American Psycho vibes.
- 39:46Speaker1: That's what it was. Oh, okay, cool. It gave me like if American Psycho was
- 39:50Speaker1: in, um, the dude was— instead of being like
- 39:54Speaker1: this banker type of dude, he was just a famous actor, you know. Interesting.
- 39:58Speaker1: That, that's— and you, and you see him take that turn from being
- 40:02Speaker1: like this, um, this good-looking type of dude or
- 40:06Speaker1: whatever, you know, very suave. And he's still suave, still good-looking, but he's just a
- 40:10Speaker1: fucking psycho now, you know what I'm saying? Like just a complete psycho and shit.
- 40:13Speaker1: And, and he's just off the rails. And even with the fact that he's like—
- 40:17Speaker1: when he had like, you know, talk about he's in love with this woman,
- 40:20Speaker1: he's like, I love you, I love you. He's like, bro, I don't think you
- 40:22Speaker1: really love her, bro. You just love the fact that she was able to make
- 40:24Speaker1: your face normal again, you know what I'm saying? You was able— like, that's what
- 40:27Speaker1: you love. You love the fact that you look like you again. and she was
- 40:30Speaker1: able to do it, but he just became so obsessed with her. It was,
- 40:33Speaker1: it, it was, it was, it was, it was a pretty good movie. Okay,
- 40:37Speaker1: I'll definitely have to check that out. Yeah, yeah, check it out when you get
- 40:40Speaker1: a chance. Uh, so that was it. So that was the, the box office bomb.
- 40:45Speaker1: Um, this upcoming week, um, unfortunately there's
- 40:49Speaker1: not really too many things coming up.
- 40:52Speaker1: Um, you have Wicker is coming up
- 40:55Speaker1: into a more, um, wider release. Uh, The Only
- 41:00Speaker1: Living Pickpocket in New York, which is, um, John Turturro, the actor— this is actually
- 41:03Speaker1: like his first time being a lead actor in, um,
- 41:07Speaker1: in, in something like this. And they're actually giving him possible,
- 41:10Speaker1: um, uh, Oscar consideration,
- 41:14Speaker1: at least Oscar nomination consideration for that one. Wow. Um,
- 41:17Speaker1: but none of these I don't really see. I honestly— maybe BTS: The World Tour,
- 41:21Speaker1: they got their documentary coming out. That might be number one. don't know,
- 41:24Speaker1: but it's a, it's a very, um, slow weekend, Halloween weekend,
- 41:28Speaker1: up at the movie theaters. So we're gonna jump ahead to the next week.
- 41:31Speaker1: We're gonna give a little insight about what's gonna be coming up at the top
- 41:35Speaker1: of November, because the top of November we got some, um, pretty good movies
- 41:39Speaker1: coming out. Um, first one we have coming up is the sequel
- 41:43Speaker1: to, uh, Godzilla Zero. Godzilla, uh, Godzilla Zero
- 41:47Speaker1: is the sequel. Minus Zero was the first one. Was it Godzilla Zero? I don't
- 41:51Speaker1: know. But anyways, Godzilla Minus Zero, um, the sequel to the other
- 41:55Speaker1: one— you could tell I'm a movie expert— the
- 41:59Speaker1: sequel to the other one, um, Godzilla Minus Zero is going to be coming out
- 42:03Speaker1: at the top of November. The big thing about this Godzilla movie is that this
- 42:06Speaker1: is actually gonna be the very first Godzilla movie that's rated R. Oh wow,
- 42:09Speaker1: man. Yeah, yeah. So that'll be interesting
- 42:13Speaker1: to see what they're able to do with like some, uh, some blood and guts
- 42:16Speaker1: and all that type of stuff. So Godzilla Minus Zero Will be coming out.
- 42:20Speaker1: Um, oh, so that was the first one was called Godzilla Minus One.
- 42:24Speaker1: Okay. Oh, I knew it was something like that. So that's—
- 42:29Speaker1: so that's what it was. So Godzilla Minus One was the original, was the,
- 42:31Speaker1: the first one. Godzilla Minus Zero is going to be coming out top
- 42:35Speaker1: of November, the very first R-rated Godzilla movie.
- 42:39Speaker1: And then to combat that, we got The Cat
- 42:42Speaker1: in the Hat, which is— so you got— so you got some things to come
- 42:46Speaker1: up, some things coming out. Uh, and in that movie,
- 42:49Speaker1: that is, uh, animated. We have Bill Hader is going to be in that movie.
- 42:53Speaker1: Uh, see who else we got. I'm gonna mess up her name, but the girl
- 42:57Speaker1: that was in, um, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,
- 43:01Speaker1: Gutiérrez Gomez. Oh, I know I fucked up her first name, my bad.
- 43:05Speaker1: Miss Gomez. Oh, we got my girl Miss Quinta Brunson in the movie too.
- 43:08Speaker1: Shout out to Abbott Elementary. Abbott Elementary just started back up this new season.
- 43:12Speaker1: That's on my bucket list of things to do. Then I'm gonna get on a—
- 43:15Speaker1: I'm gonna get on an episode of Abbott Elementary. That's— there you go. That's my
- 43:19Speaker1: bucket list of things to do, just to have some— Yeah, put it out in
- 43:22Speaker1: the universe. Yeah, put it out there
- 43:26Speaker1: on the podcast. So we got that coming up.
- 43:30Speaker1: And then the other movie coming up, Wild Horse Nine, um, that movie
- 43:33Speaker1: stars John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell. They're saying that this movie might
- 43:38Speaker1: be the movie that gets, um, John Malkovich nominated
- 43:42Speaker1: for an Oscar. Oh, wow. So we'll see how that goes. We'll see how that
- 43:45Speaker1: goes. We won't dive into the whole— Next
- 43:56Speaker1: weekend is that documentary, You Can See Everything. I think that's
- 44:00Speaker1: going to take number one. Okay, it's getting such rave reviews right now.
- 44:03Speaker1: Yes, it's like getting like over 9 out of
- 44:07Speaker1: 10, you know. So it's getting excellent reviews,
- 44:10Speaker1: and it's supposed to be really crazy.
- 44:14Speaker1: Like, just— and I, I don't know if you've seen any of
- 44:18Speaker1: Nathan Fielder's stuff. Yeah, I've seen Nathan for You,
- 44:22Speaker1: and I've seen his latest one, The Rehearsal. The Rehearsal
- 44:26Speaker1: is so fucking hilarious. Yes. So I've seen both those. I saw
- 44:30Speaker1: the— just, I think I just seen like the first episode or wherever where the
- 44:33Speaker1: dude was reenacting the, uh, the rehearsal for, um, It was like trivia night or
- 44:37Speaker1: something, right? Yes. So fucking stupid. Yeah, so this is actually like building
- 44:41Speaker1: a whole set, the whole house, and we'd actually rehearse.
- 44:45Speaker1: Uh, but, but it's been— but just this guy is,
- 44:49Speaker1: is, you know, in this documentary, so it's going
- 44:52Speaker1: to be interesting. It's got me excited to want to check it out
- 44:56Speaker1: because— so that's my prediction to you, is that I think that it's going to
- 44:59Speaker1: overtake Clayface. Oh yeah. At the number 1 spot. Yeah, I'd see Clayface
- 45:04Speaker1: probably doing— I could see Clayface probably doing $12 million this weekend, right? That's what
- 45:08Speaker1: I'm saying. Maybe, maybe less. That I think you can see everything is
- 45:11Speaker1: gonna take that top spot and continue to, to have
- 45:16Speaker1: the momentum that it's, it's got. Yeah. And they had, um, and, and so when
- 45:20Speaker1: we talk about like promoting and all that stuff, marketing, um,
- 45:23Speaker1: you could see everything they did. Uh, it was an Elizabeth Holmes lookalike,
- 45:28Speaker1: um, yeah, meetup at, um, in New York or whatever and
- 45:32Speaker1: stuff like that. A whole bunch of people dressed up to look like Elizabeth Holmes
- 45:34Speaker1: and Nathan Fielder. And yeah, that's just fucking hilarious for
- 45:38Speaker1: sure. Yeah, yeah. And shout out to Amanda Seyfried too. They talk about she might
- 45:41Speaker1: get nominated for Oscar like that. I met her earlier this year and stuff.
- 45:44Speaker1: Oh wow, nice. She's super nice, super cool. So shout out to— shout out to
- 45:47Speaker1: Miss Seyfried. Um, and so yeah, so that's what we got going
- 45:51Speaker1: on for the box office or bust,
- 45:54Speaker1: y'all. So the next thing up on the list, you know,
- 45:58Speaker1: this is a shit— probably the only— this favorite thing to do on this show
- 46:01Speaker1: right here is, uh, the Mount Rushmore. The Mount Rushmore.
- 46:04Speaker1: Yeah, yeah, let's get into that real quickly.
- 46:08Speaker1: So coming up right now, y'all, this right now is a little game we like
- 46:11Speaker1: to play. It's called the Mount Rushmore. This is where we just come up with
- 46:15Speaker1: a list, uh, a topic, and then we come up with a list of those
- 46:18Speaker1: things and we just run them off and we choose whether or not we
- 46:21Speaker1: want to put this on our Mount Rushmore or leave it
- 46:25Speaker1: off. Um, shit, let's just— they know the game, man. Let's just get
- 46:28Speaker1: into it right now. Let's just get into it right now. So, uh,
- 46:32Speaker1: first up on the Mount Rushmore right
- 46:36Speaker1: here, I got right here, this is a list of rappers turned
- 46:39Speaker1: actors. Okay, cool, cool, cool. Rappers turned actors.
- 46:44Speaker1: So first one up on the list, we got Miss Queen
- 46:48Speaker1: Latifah.
- 46:57Speaker1: Hmm. Um, this is a respectful— I
- 47:01Speaker1: don't, I don't want to have her on my Mount Rushmore, but I
- 47:05Speaker1: really do appreciate her as an actress. So I don't
- 47:09Speaker1: know that I can have her on my Mount Rushmore. And there's gonna be some
- 47:13Speaker1: better ones. Okay, shout out to— you see, have you seen Set It Off?
- 47:17Speaker1: I have. Set It Off is a classic. All right,
- 47:20Speaker1: next one up on the list, we got T.I. I should,
- 47:24Speaker1: I should have taken it. Coming up
- 47:28Speaker1: next, we got T.I., man. T.I. on the list, man.
- 47:32Speaker1: Uh, not on my Mount Rushmore. No, buddy. All right,
- 47:37Speaker1: next one up, we got the fellow AT alien, we got Ludacris. Okay,
- 47:42Speaker1: now yeah, I've got a I gotta put Ludacris on mine. You know, the Fast
- 47:45Speaker1: and Furious, that whole franchise. I've got to put him on
- 47:50Speaker1: there. All right. Oh, yeah. Hey, shout out to Luda.
- 47:53Speaker1: If you get a chance, go watch the movie The Ride. I think that's on
- 47:56Speaker1: Tubi right now. But if you go watch The Ride with Ludacris, I'm in that
- 48:00Speaker1: movie. I'm in that movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So check that out. Yeah,
- 48:04Speaker1: of course, we put Ludacris on the Mount Rushmore. I'm in a movie with him.
- 48:06Speaker1: So go shout out, go watch The Ride on on Tubi
- 48:10Speaker1: right now. Um, next one up, we got,
- 48:14Speaker1: we got Mr. Will Smith. Keep my wife's name
- 48:17Speaker1: out your mouth. I have to put Will Smith on my Mount Rushmore.
- 48:21Speaker1: Yeah, you know, he's had incredible roles
- 48:24Speaker1: like Ali. You know, I could— I like Men in Black personally.
- 48:28Speaker1: I grew up with that. Um, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I mean, I could keep
- 48:32Speaker1: going on. He's done it all. Okay, we'll keep Will Smith up on there.
- 48:35Speaker1: Yeah. And then right following up Will Smith,
- 48:39Speaker1: we got his arch nemesis, Mr. Tupac Shakur.
- 48:42Speaker1: Now he's a great actor. I just don't know.
- 48:46Speaker1: I wish he would have had more time with this, you know.
- 48:50Speaker1: But I respectfully have to— I'm not going to put him
- 48:53Speaker1: on my Mount Rushmore. Oh, fuck. Sorry. Oh,
- 48:57Speaker1: sorry. Goddamn.
- 49:01Speaker1: Not Bishop. I'm sorry, buddy.
- 49:05Speaker1: All right, sorry to break your heart. It's all good, no worries. This is your
- 49:08Speaker1: Mount Rushmore. Yeah, this is your Mount Rushmore. Next one up,
- 49:12Speaker1: we got Mr. Ice Cube. Today was a good day. Yeah, Ice Cube's
- 49:16Speaker1: on it. All right, sure. Yeah, so I've got 3 right now. Yep, yep.
- 49:21Speaker1: So you got one of these next 2. Next one up, we got
- 49:25Speaker1: Method Man, Mr. Wu-Tang. I think I can leave
- 49:28Speaker1: him If I'm gonna, if I'm gonna cut Tupac,
- 49:34Speaker1: I've got to— I don't think I can respectfully have Method Man.
- 49:38Speaker1: Have you seen How High? I have. Just like the— why? Yes.
- 49:41Speaker1: So then, yeah, so we'll
- 49:45Speaker1: leave that last one. This is my last one. Okay, my last. So the ones
- 49:49Speaker1: you chose to keep off your Mount Rushmore was Queen Latifah,
- 49:53Speaker1: T.I., Tupac.
- 49:58Speaker1: Yeah. And Method Man. Yeah. And your Mount
- 50:02Speaker1: Rushmore of rappers turned actors is Ludacris,
- 50:05Speaker1: Will Smith, Ice Cube, and LL
- 50:09Speaker1: Cool J. I'm good with that. Honestly, I'm good with that. Yeah.
- 50:12Speaker1: That's not bad. No, that's not bad at all. We'll let
- 50:16Speaker1: Tupac slide. We'll let Tupac slide. Are you gonna let that slide? I'll let it
- 50:19Speaker1: slide this time.
- 50:23Speaker1: Well, being that it's almost Halloween, buddy, Mount Rushmore
- 50:27Speaker1: of highest grossing indie horrors.
- 50:31Speaker1: Okay. Okay. So first one up, we've got Terrifier.
- 50:35Speaker1: Terrifier? Oh, with the— no. Yeah. No,
- 50:39Speaker1: no. Yeah, no, I don't do that type of stuff. I don't do that type
- 50:43Speaker1: of horror. Next up is The Blair Witch Project.
- 50:48Speaker1: Blair Witch Project.
- 50:52Speaker1: I'll put that up there on the Mount Rushmore. Okay, just, just for what it
- 50:55Speaker1: did for, you know, all the found footage films and what it was for at
- 50:58Speaker1: its times. The sequel sucked, but we'll get— we'll put them out. We'll put— I
- 51:02Speaker1: won't hold Blair Witch, you know, to it, to it, to its sequel.
- 51:05Speaker1: So we'll put it up there. Uh, next one up is Talk to
- 51:09Speaker1: Me, where it's like, oh, talking to the embalmer. I haven't seen that, but that
- 51:13Speaker1: looked good. I ain't seen this. I'm gonna have to respectfully keep it off there.
- 51:17Speaker1: Okay. Next up is Skinamarink.
- 51:21Speaker1: Huh? Skinamarink. I'll put it up there just by the— just
- 51:25Speaker1: because of the title. I don't even know what that movie is about. But just
- 51:28Speaker1: because of the title, I put it up. But yeah, they made a lot of
- 51:31Speaker1: money, man. They had a $15,000 budget and made— and turned around and made
- 51:35Speaker1: $2.1 million. Okay, so next one up
- 51:39Speaker1: is Backrooms. That one was recent.
- 51:43Speaker1: Oh, you know, I'll put that up there on the Mount Rushmore just because the
- 51:46Speaker1: director is from the Bay Area. So we'll show some love.
- 51:51Speaker1: We're down to the final 3. You've already got 3 on yours.
- 51:55Speaker1: Okay, so next up is Long Legs with
- 52:00Speaker1: Nic Cage. I like it.
- 52:03Speaker1: But just, just, just for the fact that I got more, I just, I just,
- 52:06Speaker1: I I, I got more choices. I'll keep that off. Next up is weapons.
- 52:11Speaker1: Weapons. And it's either this one or the next one, correct?
- 52:15Speaker1: All right, I think I know what the next one is, so, so I,
- 52:18Speaker1: I, I'll, I'll, I'll, I think I
- 52:22Speaker1: know what the next one is, so I'll take this off my Mount Rushmore.
- 52:24Speaker1: But I think next— what was it? Next one, Obsession. So, uh,
- 52:28Speaker1: you've kept the, uh, The Blair Witch Project.
- 52:35Speaker1: Skinamarink, Backrooms, and Obsession. Yeah, shout out
- 52:39Speaker1: to Indy. Shout out to Indy. She from the Bay Area. And that one
- 52:42Speaker1: did incredible to go from $750,000
- 52:47Speaker1: to making $522.2
- 52:50Speaker1: million. It's incredible. Yeah.
- 52:55Speaker1: So this next one up right here This is
- 52:59Speaker1: in honor of the— we just had the, the SAG-AFTRA Next Gen multi-hyphenate
- 53:03Speaker1: mixer. So these are the top multi-hyphenate
- 53:08Speaker1: actors in Hollywood right now. Well, not right now, but just the multi-hyphenates
- 53:12Speaker1: that do more than— have had success in more
- 53:15Speaker1: than just acting. So first one up on
- 53:20Speaker1: the list, we got the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Jamie Foxx.
- 53:24Speaker1: Yeah, I'm gonna keep Jamie. Uh, I'm gonna have Jamie on my Mount Rushmore.
- 53:27Speaker1: You got to put him up there, man. He's done it all.
- 53:30Speaker1: Done it all. Even from the acting level— sitcoms, sketch comedy,
- 53:34Speaker1: stand-up comedy, the music. Yeah, he done it all.
- 53:38Speaker1: Next one up, we got Mr. Drizzy Drake.
- 53:42Speaker1: I can leave that off my Mount Rushmore. You're gonna leave— we'll turn Jamie off.
- 53:45Speaker1: I'm gonna, I'm gonna leave Drake off.
- 53:56Speaker1: Make up for the Tupac yet? Yeah, you made up for Tupac.
- 53:59Speaker1: Okay, you made up for Tupac. All right, uh, next one up we
- 54:02Speaker1: got Miss Jennifer Lopez. Yeah, I— Jennifer
- 54:06Speaker1: Lopez is on my Mount Rushmore. Yeah, singing— well, not really singing,
- 54:10Speaker1: she's dancing. Dancing. We'll give her credit for the dancing. Singing in Living
- 54:15Speaker1: Color. Yeah, yeah, gotta start on— gotta stay there. Singing might have
- 54:18Speaker1: been somebody else, but we'll give her the credit for the dancing and the acting.
- 54:22Speaker1: I like Waiting for Tonight, so I'm just saying. But I don't think
- 54:26Speaker1: that was a lot of her. We're not going to get into that. We're not
- 54:29Speaker1: going to get to that. So we got Jennifer Lopez on there. Next one up
- 54:32Speaker1: there, we got Donald Glover, Mr. Childish Gambino.
- 54:36Speaker1: That's a tough one. Um,
- 54:39Speaker1: Atlanta's a classic. He's put out classic albums. Redbone, it's a
- 54:44Speaker1: classic song. I feel like there's gonna be more.
- 54:50Speaker1: Respectfully, I've got to leave Donald off. All right,
- 54:54Speaker1: no worries, no worries. But that is painful. No worries,
- 54:57Speaker1: no worries. Next one up, we got Mr.
- 55:01Speaker1: Eddie Murphy. Oh yeah, Eddie Murphy is on my
- 55:05Speaker1: number one Billboard. Yeah, Eddie Murphy is definitely
- 55:09Speaker1: on on my Mount Rushmore. Yep, 100%. So that's— I've got 3.
- 55:13Speaker1: You got 3. Yep, you got 3. You got 3 more. Okay. Oh, 3 more.
- 55:18Speaker1: Wow. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Yeah, you got 3 more.
- 55:22Speaker1: Okay, so next one up, got Mr.
- 55:26Speaker1: Jared Leto. Absolutely not. Absolutely not.
- 55:31Speaker1: That is an easy— that's like the easiest one. That was the
- 55:35Speaker1: easiest one. Tupac was not easy, for sure, by the way. I'm glad
- 55:39Speaker1: to see where— all right, I'm glad to see where we stand. Okay,
- 55:42Speaker1: cool. You're making it up. You're making it up. Absolutely not.
- 55:45Speaker1: Jared Leto. Next one up, we got Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
- 55:50Speaker1: Oh, absolutely. Yeah. You're gonna leave it there? You're gonna
- 55:54Speaker1: lock it up there? I've got to lock it up because The Rock— you
- 55:59Speaker1: had— I grew up with wrestling. So The Rock
- 56:03Speaker1: was huge. you know, during that time. And to see
- 56:07Speaker1: how Dwayne Johnson has come
- 56:10Speaker1: as an actor is just incredible.
- 56:14Speaker1: I, I really have a lot of respect for his work
- 56:18Speaker1: ethic and drive and dedication. So yeah,
- 56:21Speaker1: absolutely, I feel good about this Mount Rushmore. All right,
- 56:24Speaker1: cool, cool. Oh yep, also a little shameless plug, my very first SAG voucher was
- 56:28Speaker1: on the set of San Andreas with The Rock. I love that movie. I love
- 56:32Speaker1: that movie. Yeah, that was great. Yeah, shout out to— shout out to
- 56:35Speaker1: The Rock. And shout out— shout out to Lamar Stewart, man. Shout out to Lamar
- 56:39Speaker1: Stewart, the friend— friend of the Yeah Buddy Podcast. Lamar Stewart is the person who
- 56:42Speaker1: got me my very first SAG voucher, made me feel official. So shout
- 56:46Speaker1: out to Lamar Stewart. Okay, so right now we have
- 56:50Speaker1: your Mount Rushmore multi-hyphenates. It's Jamie
- 56:53Speaker1: Foxx, Jennifer Lopez— both got their start on, uh, In Living
- 56:57Speaker1: Color. Eddie Murphy, and then Dwayne
- 57:00Speaker1: The Rock Johnson. But the ones you chose to keep
- 57:03Speaker1: off your Mount Rushmore, and I'm not mad at it: Drake,
- 57:09Speaker1: Donald Glover, Jared Leto,
- 57:12Speaker1: and Shaquille O'Neal. That's perfect. Yeah, that was— that's a perfect Mount
- 57:17Speaker1: Rushmore. That's cool. Yeah, yeah, we'll go with that. Okay. All right.
- 57:21Speaker1: All right, for you, buddy, I've got Mount Rushmore of animated
- 57:25Speaker1: films. Okay, starting off with Toy Story.

- 57:33Speaker1: Story up there. We gotta put Toy Story up there. We're gonna start off hot.
- 57:36Speaker1: We'll put that up on the Mount Rushmore. Next up is WALL-E.
- 57:39Speaker1: No, I could keep that off. Okay, that off. Is this, is this just Pixar
- 57:43Speaker1: or just animated? Oh, we'll see. We'll see. Yeah, you're gonna see. Yeah.
- 57:47Speaker1: Ratatouille is next.
- 57:50Speaker1: Uh, no, that's okay. All right. Next up is The Emoji
- 57:54Speaker1: Movie. This is, this is the movie that,
- 57:58Speaker1: that made Jordan Peele quit acting. Because they asked him to
- 58:01Speaker1: play the shit. Yeah, I believe that one off.
- 58:05Speaker1: All right, I gotta keep the next— do I gotta keep the next 3 then?
- 58:07Speaker1: No, you got 4 more. Okay. Because all
- 58:11Speaker1: you've kept so far is Toy Story. Yep. Next up is
- 58:15Speaker1: Megamind.
- 58:19Speaker1: Megamind. Will Ferrell. I'll put, I'll put up there. Yeah, I'll put that up
