- 0:05Speaker 1: NFL now is a production of the NFL in partnership
- 0:08Speaker 1: with I heart radio. Part to believe. Yes, it is
- 0:15Speaker 1: already week number three. Welcome to a game day edition
- 0:19Speaker 1: of the NFL now on NFL network. From our news
- 0:22Speaker 1: room in Los Angeles, I'm Andrews Ceciliano. Are insiders right
- 0:26Speaker 1: around the corner with everything you need to know. Who
- 0:28Speaker 1: is practicing today, on a game day ahead of Sunday's
- 0:31Speaker 1: games and Monday's game as well? Is this the Michael
- 0:34Speaker 1: Gallup debut? Will tell you what Mike McCarthy had to say.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We begin with Game Day in Cleveland, however, TNF on
- 0:42Speaker 1: prime video. Mitch trabisky trying to get the steelers offense rolling,
- 0:48Speaker 1: NICK CHUBB IN THE CLEVELAND Browns trying to close out
- 0:51Speaker 1: a game. A couple of one and one teams, with
- 0:53Speaker 1: the winner taking over first place in the A F
- 0:58Speaker 1: C north ahead of the bengals. On the Ravens getting
- 1:02Speaker 1: on the field on Sunday. The rounds, who have won
- 1:06Speaker 1: four straight games on Thursday night, including last year when
- 1:10Speaker 1: they beat the Broncos, are busted out the orange pants
- 1:15Speaker 1: to nights. I don't know if Tom Pellicero is wearing
- 1:19Speaker 1: orange pants highly doubt, and hope not, for his sake,
- 1:22Speaker 1: live though, in Cleveland, of the orange seats behind him either,
- 1:24Speaker 1: Tom Brian Boldinger as well. Tom Starting with you at
- 1:28Speaker 1: the stadium where the steelers are trying to get their
- 1:30Speaker 1: offense rolling, and I know it's only a couple of games,
- 1:33Speaker 1: but there are already calls in Pittsburgh, shockingly, for Kenny Pickett.
- 1:39Speaker 1: What's the latest on their quarterback situation? Landerw Mike Tomlin
- 1:42Speaker 1: has given no indication, publicly or privately, that he is
- 1:45Speaker 1: considering a quarterback change at this very early stage in
- 1:48Speaker 1: the season. He is sticking with Mits Drabinsky. However, when
- 1:51Speaker 1: you're thirty in the NFL in yards per play and
- 1:54Speaker 1: you're not having many big plays, you're not running the
- 1:55Speaker 1: football effectively or passing it effectively, inevitably you're going to
- 1:59Speaker 1: have some frustration, and you've heard a little bit of
- 2:01Speaker 1: that from some of the wide receivers in Pittsburgh. My
- 2:04Speaker 1: understanding is at this point this is a week to
- 2:06Speaker 1: week evaluation and the steelers quarterback plan is going to
- 2:09Speaker 1: be dictated by how Robinsky plays, beginning tonight against the
- 2:13Speaker 1: Cleveland browns. He has the support of the locker room
- 2:16Speaker 1: it's important to understand other players love Robinsky. They voted
- 2:19Speaker 1: him a captain, but those receivers also want him to
- 2:22Speaker 1: push the ball down the field and get it into
- 2:24Speaker 1: his playmaker's hands. Can He pick it? Of course, at
- 2:27Speaker 1: a really strong preseason. He's a first round draft pick.
- 2:30Speaker 1: His time is coming eventually. Could it come in a
- 2:33Speaker 1: long week following a Thursday game? You can't rule anything out,
- 2:37Speaker 1: but again it's gonna be dictated by how trabinsky plays,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and trabisky acknowledged this week. He knows that there's opportunities
- 2:43Speaker 1: that he's not taken so far to get the ball
- 2:44Speaker 1: down the field. Of George Pickens, among others. You Know
- 2:47Speaker 1: Tom when you watch it, they had one explosive play
- 2:50Speaker 1: last week to George Pickens, a guy that they have
- 2:52Speaker 1: to get more involved because he can be a star
- 2:55Speaker 1: on this team and in this league. And so they
- 2:57Speaker 1: scored one touchdown the first week, you know, in their
- 3:00Speaker 1: victory against Cincinnati, and last week they had two chances
- 3:03Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter to come back on the Patriot
- 3:05Speaker 1: and they couldn't put anything together. So it's about production
- 3:07Speaker 1: and they believe the team the organization. They Love Mitch.
- 3:11Speaker 1: There's no question about that. But they also know that
- 3:13Speaker 1: Kenny Pickett can see the future like he sees the
- 3:16Speaker 1: field very very well, and maybe they need that guy
- 3:19Speaker 1: to spark the passing game because that's a strength of
- 3:23Speaker 1: their team, is their receivers, and they've got to get
- 3:25Speaker 1: the ball down the field were regularly to them. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: think it's a if they're struggling the first half time,
- 3:31Speaker 1: it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him go
- 3:33Speaker 1: to pick it in the second half tonight. You can
- 3:35Speaker 1: see the future, which is also a pretty good thing
- 3:38Speaker 1: to put on your resume. It's Mitch Drobisky for now,
- 3:41Speaker 1: Ohio native coming back home. Maybe the Cleveland Secondary is
- 3:45Speaker 1: what Mitch Drabinsky needs to hit some of these big plays,
- 3:49Speaker 1: because that's the storyline there this week. Tom Not just
- 3:52Speaker 1: the booling at all. That it's what it's what brought
- 3:54Speaker 1: about the booing. It's the busted coverage is weekend, week out.
- 3:57Speaker 1: A huge one last week led to the Joe Flacco
- 4:00Speaker 1: come back and I was standing on the field andrew
- 4:02Speaker 1: in a third teen point game less than two minutes
- 4:04Speaker 1: to go, when all of a sudden Corey Davis is
- 4:06Speaker 1: running towards me and there is not a single Brown's
- 4:09Speaker 1: Jersey anywhere near him. It's one of several coverage bus
- 4:12Speaker 1: that have occurred over the past couple of weeks so
- 4:14Speaker 1: far for this Cleveland browns defense, and something that was
- 4:17Speaker 1: a point of frustration in the locker room after the game,
- 4:20Speaker 1: guys like John Johnson, the veteran safety, saying we gotta
- 4:22Speaker 1: look each other in the eyes and talk about the
- 4:24Speaker 1: calls because we've got guys who aren't playing the same
- 4:27Speaker 1: defense is that the other guys are playing. And Middle
- 4:29Speaker 1: Linebacker Anthony Walker JR has consistently said as the Middle Linebacker,
- 4:33Speaker 1: he's responsible for the communication. He's got to get it fixed. Well,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I talked to Walker in the locker room on Tuesday.
- 4:37Speaker 1: He told me they did get together as players on
- 4:40Speaker 1: defense and talked about it. I said what's the root
- 4:42Speaker 1: of the issues? He said it's just communication. We're not
- 4:45Speaker 1: communicating so far. They're hoping that they can do a
- 4:47Speaker 1: better job clean those things up on night, that they're
- 4:49Speaker 1: gonna be a little bit shorthanded. JEJEV and Clowney out
- 4:52Speaker 1: for this game because of his ankle. They will have
- 4:55Speaker 1: miles Garrett, even though he did not practice this week
- 4:57Speaker 1: because of the neck issue. What's so frustrating, Baldy, is
- 4:59Speaker 1: that that secondary was handed a game by the run
- 5:02Speaker 1: game to just close it out the defense and just
- 5:04Speaker 1: it's a over. They've run for four hundred yards in
- 5:07Speaker 1: two games. The formula is still the same. Run the
- 5:10Speaker 1: ball and they're really good at it. Andrew, and the
- 5:12Speaker 1: steelers know what's coming and every week Bill Callahan, the
- 5:15Speaker 1: run game coordinator, the offensive coordinator and the offensive line coach,
- 5:19Speaker 1: he has a series of plays that he likes to
- 5:21Speaker 1: put in depending on the front that they're playing, and
- 5:23Speaker 1: they're really good at running. You could teach the run
- 5:25Speaker 1: game in five minutes, Andrew. This is the foundation to
- 5:28Speaker 1: what Cleveland wants to do. Thank you, baldy. Thank you,
- 5:30Speaker 1: Tom Pella Sero. This opens up a pretty good week.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Three steelers in browns in primetime. Now let's get to
- 5:36Speaker 1: the game that's going to end week three, and for
- 5:39Speaker 1: that one we say hi to Jane Slater, live in Dallas,
- 5:41Speaker 1: says the cowboys go on the road to face an
- 5:44Speaker 1: undefeated giants team Monday night. Giants in the second let's
- 5:47Speaker 1: do the cowboys first, Jane. After listening to Mike McCarthy today,
- 5:51Speaker 1: sure sounds like we're gonna see Michael Gallop for the
- 5:54Speaker 1: first time in a long time. It certainly sounds like
- 5:57Speaker 1: he's trending that way and that's because he says he's
- 5:59Speaker 1: cleared all of the physical thresholds that come with the
- 6:02Speaker 1: recovery back from that a C L tear. You know
- 6:04Speaker 1: he'll get second padded practice in on Friday and then
- 6:07Speaker 1: they have that big ramp up practice on Sunday ahead
- 6:10Speaker 1: of Monday night and they said that will be a
- 6:11Speaker 1: good determination. But he's been working his way into the
- 6:14Speaker 1: team drills and just hearing that he's cleared the physical
- 6:16Speaker 1: threshold sort of tells you everything you need to know. Now.
- 6:18Speaker 1: He did concede he's not going to be playing seventy
- 6:20Speaker 1: plays in this game. It sounds like he'll be on
- 6:22Speaker 1: a pitch count, but just having Michael Gallup back in
- 6:24Speaker 1: the lineup will be huge for the cowboys. As for
- 6:27Speaker 1: tight in Dalton Schultz, it sounds like a similar situation.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know he's dealing with the right knee issue, but
- 6:33Speaker 1: he's been doing a little more each day, so they'll
- 6:35Speaker 1: see how he does as the week progresses, but if
- 6:37Speaker 1: he feels good on Sunday, sounds like he's got a
- 6:39Speaker 1: chance to play on Monday. And when you get the
- 6:42Speaker 1: injury report from today, you will not see Micah Parsons
- 6:44Speaker 1: participating in practice. No need to get upset, cowboy fans.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He's dealing with a little bit of a cold, so
- 6:49Speaker 1: they're just being careful with him. He has a little
- 6:50Speaker 1: bit of a cold. Michael Gallup, we have not seen
- 6:53Speaker 1: him on the field since January second when he did
- 6:56Speaker 1: injure that knee. Meantime, the giants will trying to get
- 6:58Speaker 1: Jane to three and Oh for the first time since
- 7:01Speaker 1: Oh nine. What is Brian Day bold doing differently in
- 7:04Speaker 1: New York other than winning football games? Look, it's not
- 7:08Speaker 1: just what Brian dayball is doing, but what Martin Dale
- 7:10Speaker 1: is doing on the defensive side of the ball, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: I loved the sound bite from Safety Julian loved this
- 7:15Speaker 1: week where he said basically the message in that building
- 7:17Speaker 1: this year is send it. What does he mean by that?
- 7:20Speaker 1: He says he wants the guys to play fats free
- 7:22Speaker 1: without worrying about being perfect. Cowboys might have a hard
- 7:26Speaker 1: time scouting this revamped giants die, though, when you consider
- 7:28Speaker 1: how different it does look like Martindale's last week had
- 7:31Speaker 1: a six DB front, safeties in the box and winning
- 7:34Speaker 1: games without their first round addresser, Cavon Thibodeau, who has
- 7:37Speaker 1: returned this week, longest frame to M C in the preseason,
- 7:40Speaker 1: along with the Zees o Gulari, who led the team
- 7:42Speaker 1: in sacks last season. Now, coach Day Ball said they're
- 7:44Speaker 1: both day to day, but through on the close side
- 7:46Speaker 1: of both return that could be quite the pass rush.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And it was Timodeau who was asked at his locker
- 7:50Speaker 1: how he felt Wednesday post practice. He said he was
- 7:52Speaker 1: confident and they were able to open it up and
- 7:55Speaker 1: do a lot of things. So sounds like he is
- 7:57Speaker 1: trending in the right direction. But even Mike McCarthy talked
- 7:59Speaker 1: about this today. When you considered the fact that cowboys
- 8:02Speaker 1: have had their number in recent years, this is a
- 8:04Speaker 1: completely different giants team there. Two wins in the first
- 8:07Speaker 1: two weeks are more than they had through seven last season.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Have not been two and oh since six team, last
- 8:13Speaker 1: time they made the post season riding get three and
- 8:16Speaker 1: oh for the first time since o nine. Thank you,
- 8:18Speaker 1: Jane Slater. In Dallas. That game is on Monday night. Oh,
- 8:20Speaker 1: by the way, we only have one game this coming
- 8:23Speaker 1: Monday night. We have four games, however, in the four
- 8:25Speaker 1: o'clock window on Sunday and the sneaky good game of
- 8:29Speaker 1: the week Justin Herbert and the chargers against that revitalized
- 8:33Speaker 1: Jaguars Front seven. Herbert, though, dealing with a rib cartilage injury.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Just in his day to day. Um, I think he's
- 8:41Speaker 1: gotten a lot of rest since the last game, but
- 8:43Speaker 1: I think the nature of the week is it's truly
- 8:45Speaker 1: going to be case by case, day by day basis.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I know that he's feeling more comfortable. I know he
- 8:50Speaker 1: was able to do some light throwing yesterday, some rotational work,
- 8:53Speaker 1: but we're just going to take it day by day
- 8:54Speaker 1: and see where his comfort level is and truly trust
- 8:57Speaker 1: him and let him kind of be the guide of
- 8:59Speaker 1: of where we're at and make sure we're prepared either way. Oh,
- 9:03Speaker 1: for what it's worth, hither IAN rappaports Tom Plisero back
- 9:06Speaker 1: with us from Cleveland as well. Austin ekeler went on
- 9:08Speaker 1: twitch last night. I said that Herbert looked okay in
- 9:12Speaker 1: the training room day to day, but he said, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 1: he did have a rib cartilage injury before he played
- 9:16Speaker 1: through it. I don't know if you know that I
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know if we knew that. What do you know
- 9:19Speaker 1: about this week? I was not on twitch last night,
- 9:22Speaker 1: so I will defer to all the people that things
- 9:25Speaker 1: for whatever Austin ekeler said about that. Very good news, though,
- 9:28Speaker 1: for the charges that Justin Herbert was able to be
- 9:30Speaker 1: out at practicing. There's gonna be a couple of different benchmarks,
- 9:33Speaker 1: a couple of different tests this week to see whether
- 9:35Speaker 1: or not he's gonna be out there, but just being
- 9:36Speaker 1: able to practice with that rib cartilage fracto was certainly
- 9:40Speaker 1: one of the biggest early ones for him and it
- 9:43Speaker 1: sounds like it's going to be more of a pain
- 9:44Speaker 1: tolerance issue than a Kenny function issue, which is good
- 9:48Speaker 1: because generally when you have someone as tough as Justin Herbert,
- 9:51Speaker 1: who really only missed one play on Thursday night, end
- 9:54Speaker 1: up throwing a forty yard strike down the field despite
- 9:57Speaker 1: not being able to throw it three yards on the
- 9:59Speaker 1: play before he's able to battle through that, you think
- 10:01Speaker 1: he'd be able to play on Sunday. So it sounds
- 10:04Speaker 1: like it's head in the right direction, but he's got
- 10:06Speaker 1: to be able to get through Friday's practice until we
- 10:08Speaker 1: know for sure. I mean you're at their additional tests.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It's also a pain tolerance issue for Justin Herbert and
- 10:12Speaker 1: a functionality issue. There are different things that you can
- 10:15Speaker 1: do for an injury like this. This is not entirely
- 10:17Speaker 1: uncommon among quarterbacks. You also can rest assured the charger
- 10:20Speaker 1: is not going to put Justin Herbert on the field
- 10:22Speaker 1: if they feel like he has at a medical risk.
- 10:24Speaker 1: If he ends up starting that game on Sunday against
- 10:26Speaker 1: the Jaguars, it's because their doctors have said there is
- 10:29Speaker 1: a good position to do it and because Herbert can
- 10:31Speaker 1: function at a high enough level, not just competitively but
- 10:34Speaker 1: also to keep himself healthy as well. I have to
- 10:36Speaker 1: wonder as well if Lindsley, the center, his status is
- 10:39Speaker 1: anything to do with Justin Herbert's participation on Sunday against
- 10:42Speaker 1: that Jaguars Front seven. That's Zach Cordy, thank you, against
- 10:45Speaker 1: a Jaguars team that's Zack Matt Ryan Five Times last
- 10:48Speaker 1: week mean tell let's get the Lamar Jackson had a
- 10:51Speaker 1: sleeve Ian over his right arm yesterday. Really didn't throw
- 10:54Speaker 1: much in Baltimore. The Ravens Open up a new week
- 10:57Speaker 1: of practice. We don't know about him. It sounds like
- 10:59Speaker 1: he didn't throw it all a compression sleeve on his
- 11:01Speaker 1: right arm and talked to have to practice and said
- 11:03Speaker 1: basically he's fine. Coach John Harbor off alluded to it
- 11:06Speaker 1: being just kind of the bumps and bruises of the season.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So really not a lot of alarm for Lamar Jackson.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And if you go back and watch it, right before
- 11:13Speaker 1: he busted out that seventy five yard run, he got
- 11:16Speaker 1: hit in the right elbow, the same right elbow. That
- 11:18Speaker 1: was all kind of taken care of during practice. So
- 11:20Speaker 1: perhaps that is all what it's from. He didn't sense
- 11:23Speaker 1: any concern there. It sounds like later in the week,
- 11:26Speaker 1: which could be today or could be Friday, goes see
- 11:28Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson throw a little bit and harball was very
- 11:31Speaker 1: clear he is expected to play on Sunday. Lamar Jackson
- 11:35Speaker 1: said the same thing Ian that I'm gonna be throwing
- 11:37Speaker 1: a lot of passes on Sunday. So no outward concern
- 11:40Speaker 1: from the Ravens, though certainly if you have a situation
- 11:42Speaker 1: where Lamar is not able to throw the football effectively
- 11:44Speaker 1: based on what he's dealing with with the elbow, that's
- 11:46Speaker 1: not exactly something that they would broadcast publicly either. So
- 11:49Speaker 1: we'll monitor over the next couple of days. was listed
- 11:51Speaker 1: as limited in practice on Wednesday had that compression sleeve on.
- 11:55Speaker 1: We'll see by Sunday whether or not he's still wearing
- 11:57Speaker 1: that sleeve and how much he's able to do and
- 12:00Speaker 1: do what Lamar Jackson always does on the field, and
- 12:02Speaker 1: we'll find out on Monday how much Kenny Golladay is
- 12:04Speaker 1: playing for the giant see, and this one we should
- 12:07Speaker 1: be looking at here. Is there a breaking point anytime
- 12:11Speaker 1: soon for what's going on in New York? Keny Galliley
- 12:13Speaker 1: is not playing. Two snaps said yesterday you know, his
- 12:16Speaker 1: coaches are co workers, nothing more than that, that I
- 12:18Speaker 1: should be playing. That's a fact. You know, the comments
- 12:21Speaker 1: sound explosive but if you watch him it's pretty matter
- 12:24Speaker 1: of fact and Kenny Galley is a pretty good guy.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Sounds like he just said what he thinks and when
- 12:28Speaker 1: Brian Day ball was asked about it, he basically said
- 12:30Speaker 1: that's what I want. That's a competitive player. You want
- 12:33Speaker 1: to see a player who wants to be on the field.
- 12:36Speaker 1: That said, he has not been on the field and
- 12:37Speaker 1: whether it's you know, I know we've all talked about
- 12:40Speaker 1: the contract and certainly that is a massive, massive fully
- 12:43Speaker 1: guaranteed contract, but the fact that his play hasn't earned
- 12:46Speaker 1: him more snaps is, you know, I would say, concerning.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Do you get to a breaking point? Maybe because Tom
- 12:52Speaker 1: as you know, one of the best ways to hurt
- 12:55Speaker 1: a locker room is to have a high, high priced
- 12:57Speaker 1: veteran not playing as much as he wanted and just
- 12:59Speaker 1: have him in the locker room. It's just it rarely
- 13:02Speaker 1: goes well. I would say his playing time on Monday
- 13:05Speaker 1: night is going to be extremely telling. If it's a lot,
- 13:07Speaker 1: then perhaps our questions answered. If it's not a lot,
- 13:10Speaker 1: we could sort of see it wage going. One of
- 13:12Speaker 1: the questions Kenny Golladay was asked Ian was about whether
- 13:14Speaker 1: or not he would request a trade, and Golladay kind
- 13:16Speaker 1: of push that aside. Wouldn't answer directly. Just said that
- 13:18Speaker 1: his focus is moving forward with the giants. But the
- 13:21Speaker 1: reality is if anybody wanted to trade for Kenny golladay
- 13:24Speaker 1: toward the end of the preseason and up until cut
- 13:26Speaker 1: down day, they could have done it. It's hard right
- 13:28Speaker 1: now for the giants to move a player with a
- 13:30Speaker 1: thirteen million dollar fully guaranteed salary. There's not a lot
- 13:33Speaker 1: of teams from a CAP perspective. They could take that on,
- 13:35Speaker 1: particularly when it's a player that everybody is wondering, with
- 13:38Speaker 1: what happened at the end in Detroit and now with
- 13:40Speaker 1: what's happening with the giants, whether or not that's even
- 13:43Speaker 1: going to make sense to pursue it somewhere down the
- 13:45Speaker 1: line here right when you say, are you gonna ask
- 13:47Speaker 1: for a trade? Yes, sure, but who is taking that contract?
- 13:50Speaker 1: That is not going to happen Tom Hello, sero Ian Rappaport.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Thank you again. The giants to and Oh, with or
- 13:55Speaker 1: without Kenny Golladay, playing the cowboys on Monday night. Speaking
- 13:59Speaker 1: of wide receivers, plenty a difference a week make. Aaron
- 14:02Speaker 1: Rodgers situation looks a heck of a lot better right
- 14:04Speaker 1: now than Tom Brady's. Yeah, who's Brady throwing to Sunday?
- 14:09Speaker 1: That's coming up NFL now, on a game day. Nothing
- 14:13Speaker 1: you can stop me. NFL now, NFL network. The bucketeers
- 14:24Speaker 1: get ready for the packers, but there's a significant question.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Who is he gonna throw to? Chris Godwin is still
- 14:32Speaker 1: working his way back from a hamstring injury. Mike Evans
- 14:35Speaker 1: high there. Mark Ross is suspended for this game against
- 14:38Speaker 1: the packers on Sunday, Cole Beasley, who just officially signed yesterday,
- 14:44Speaker 1: maybe pressed into service. That's pretty bleak one day if
- 14:47Speaker 1: you didn't have Tom Brady, if you didn't have the
- 14:49Speaker 1: goat Andrew. What have we seen with Tom Brady year
- 14:52Speaker 1: after year with the Patriots and now what Tampa Bay is? Hey,
- 14:55Speaker 1: just give me my guys and I'll make it work.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Obviously he's done well with superstars, the Randy Moss here
- 15:01Speaker 1: and all that, but for the most part Tom Brady
- 15:05Speaker 1: has been the engine of the machine of all the teams,
- 15:08Speaker 1: all the offenses that he runs. So I would expect
- 15:11Speaker 1: to see a similar sort of offense for Tampa Bay.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Is Spreading it out, getting Leonard for Nette Involved in
- 15:17Speaker 1: the run game, but not really changing a lot of
- 15:20Speaker 1: what he does. And someone would emerge out of the
- 15:23Speaker 1: shadows in this game, let's say. Could it be a
- 15:25Speaker 1: Russell gauge breakout game for Tampa Bay this year's? But
- 15:30Speaker 1: I would just expect brady to be efficient, effective in
- 15:33Speaker 1: that short passing game, taking shots when he can, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: look for a player to emerge like a Russell gauge there. Andrew,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be the Russell Gauge bust
- 15:41Speaker 1: out game last week. I put him in my fantasy lineup.
- 15:43Speaker 1: No one cares about my fantasy lineup, and said his
- 15:45Speaker 1: shot Perryman, who had the key touchdown there and what
- 15:48Speaker 1: was a very close game obviously well into the third
- 15:51Speaker 1: quarter mark. We have seen what todd bowles has done
- 15:54Speaker 1: against Aaron Rodgers in the past here. This team, last week, though,
- 15:59Speaker 1: on Sunday night against the bears, dedicated themselves to the run.
- 16:02Speaker 1: What kind of matchup is this from that perspective? Well,
- 16:05Speaker 1: that's the key. For Green Bay is they have to
- 16:08Speaker 1: run the ball and for Tampa Bay, obviously to stop
- 16:11Speaker 1: the run. And top bowls defense has done an outstanding
- 16:13Speaker 1: job these first two weeks in all phases of holding
- 16:16Speaker 1: scoring down, the rush, of at the passing. So it's
- 16:19Speaker 1: imperative that they stopped the run at Green Bay. As
- 16:21Speaker 1: you mentioned Sunday night, did think of Aaron Jones Rolling
- 16:25Speaker 1: and Dylan Rolling? I mean that's a hard offense to
- 16:27Speaker 1: stop because that opens up Aaron Rodgers play action. So yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 1: you stopped the run. And then, conversely, as we talked
- 16:34Speaker 1: about Brady making people better and just throwing guys in,
- 16:37Speaker 1: can rodgers do the same with his receivers. So for
- 16:40Speaker 1: Tampa Bay, Stop the run and Force One of those guys, Sammy,
- 16:44Speaker 1: Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, one of the rookies. Can they
- 16:47Speaker 1: beat you? So for top bowls, defense, stop the run,
- 16:50Speaker 1: forced the older or one of the unproven receivers to
- 16:53Speaker 1: win the game. For Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay week six,
- 16:56Speaker 1: the packers went down there to Tampa. That game was
- 16:59Speaker 1: over early thanks to that buccaneers defense. Thank you, mark Ross,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Brady Rogers. How on Sunday? How about Kyler and Matthew
- 17:06Speaker 1: Stafford as well? Oh what a ridiculous finish Kyler Murray
- 17:11Speaker 1: gave us in Vegas on Sunday. Now it's Kyler and
- 17:16Speaker 1: the cardinals against the rams in Arizona. That's where we
- 17:20Speaker 1: find Taylor Bashotti here live on NFL. Now, Hi Taylor.
- 17:24Speaker 1: This is not only a divisional game here, but this
- 17:27Speaker 1: is also Taylor a playoff rematch from a year ago.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It is. It's a big one, but Kyler Murray insisted
- 17:34Speaker 1: on Wednesday he doesn't view it as a revenge game.
- 17:37Speaker 1: He said that was last year, this is this year.
- 17:40Speaker 1: The Rams did beat the cardinals twice last year. They
- 17:42Speaker 1: kicked them out of the playoffs. The cardinals one win
- 17:45Speaker 1: against the rams last season came week four. It's so
- 17:48Speaker 1: fi stadium. So what worked for them then? Well, they
- 17:52Speaker 1: went old school. They abandoned their traditional air raid offense
- 17:55Speaker 1: and instead they did a ground rate. They ran the
- 17:58Speaker 1: ball down the rams throat forty carries, two D and
- 18:02Speaker 1: sixteen rushing yards. And to put that into context, and
- 18:05Speaker 1: the two games that they lost to the rams they
- 18:07Speaker 1: combined for a grand total of eighty two rushing yards.
- 18:10Speaker 1: They had a completely different approach and if they do
- 18:13Speaker 1: care to replicate that approach on Sunday, they're very heavy
- 18:16Speaker 1: ground approach. They did get great news today James Conner,
- 18:19Speaker 1: who left last week's game against the raiders with an
- 18:21Speaker 1: ankle injury. He has not practiced this week. He was
- 18:23Speaker 1: out there and he did not seem limited at all.
- 18:25Speaker 1: He was running around stretching. He participated in all the
- 18:28Speaker 1: drills that I could see and even if he is
- 18:31Speaker 1: limited and he is not able to go, the cardinals
- 18:33Speaker 1: do have a heavy backfield. They have Darryl Williams and,
- 18:36Speaker 1: you know, Benjamin and they proved last week that they
- 18:38Speaker 1: can carry the load. They had a hundred and twenty
- 18:40Speaker 1: yards from scrimmage in the game against the raiders. Okay,
- 18:43Speaker 1: thank you, Taylor Brashatti. There to a tongue of l
- 18:46Speaker 1: and not only the A F C offensive player of
- 18:48Speaker 1: the week, he got slimed. He's the NICKELODEON VP, the
- 18:54Speaker 1: end vp after the dolphins rallied from Downe to beat
- 18:59Speaker 1: the Ravens. Now they get the bills. You know, everyone
- 19:03Speaker 1: knows that they're really good team. They're tough the offensively,
- 19:05Speaker 1: they're explosive offensively. So I wouldn't say that we have
- 19:08Speaker 1: a measuring stick for how good that these guys are
- 19:11Speaker 1: because you look at it that they're opening game. They
- 19:14Speaker 1: beat the Super Bowl champions of last year and they
- 19:16Speaker 1: didn't just beat them, you know they was. It was
- 19:18Speaker 1: by a lot, and the next team they played really
- 19:20Speaker 1: good team. They beat them by a lot. So for
- 19:23Speaker 1: us we're just looking at playing the way we play
- 19:25Speaker 1: and playing the way we played for the past two
- 19:27Speaker 1: weeks and we'll go out there. They'll get our best
- 19:29Speaker 1: and we'll get there. Brian Baldinger, something has to give
- 19:32Speaker 1: here to it loves to throw the long ball. Now
- 19:34Speaker 1: that he has tyree killed, Jalen waddle can run obviously
- 19:37Speaker 1: as well. Buffalo and Leslie Fraser. This defense doesn't give
- 19:42Speaker 1: up the deep ball. So what gives? Well, I call
- 19:45Speaker 1: those two receivers, tyreek kill and Jayl wattle, the blur brothers,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and because that's what they are. They're just a blur.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And the buffalo bills may very well line up two
- 19:53Speaker 1: rookie quarterbacks in this game. Kier Ellen might replace Dane Jackson,
- 19:57Speaker 1: was hurt the other night, and then you might have
- 19:59Speaker 1: Christian Benford, who has been starting at the right corner
- 20:02Speaker 1: of the sixth round pick out of Villanova. I could
- 20:04Speaker 1: guarantee you that Villanova, who plays mom if this week,
- 20:07Speaker 1: in that level of football, they haven't seen and Christian
- 20:10Speaker 1: Benford hadn't seen the speed that they're going to see
- 20:12Speaker 1: now the safety is back there, like Mica Hi Jordan Poyer,
- 20:15Speaker 1: their experience. They know what's coming, but can they stop it?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Because the Ravens knew what was coming they couldn't stop it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So it'll be interesting test for the secondary, which has
- 20:24Speaker 1: been actually the one thing that can help, though, Andrew,
- 20:26Speaker 1: is the way that they're rushing the pass it right
- 20:29Speaker 1: now it's interesting. They're putting Jordan Phillips, thirty pound defensive tackle,
- 20:34Speaker 1: at end and they're putting Gregory Rousseau inside over the
- 20:37Speaker 1: guards and moving von Miller around, and it seemed to
- 20:40Speaker 1: have a real good effect against Tennessee the other night,
- 20:43Speaker 1: and so we'll see if they stay with that package
- 20:46Speaker 1: to try to pressure to us, maybe to get the
- 20:47Speaker 1: ball out quicker or maybe to make some errand throws
- 20:50Speaker 1: a Micah High Jordan's player, nor obviously Dane Jackson. None
- 20:54Speaker 1: of them practice today. So there are injury concerns in
- 20:57Speaker 1: that buffalo secondary that has not given up a deep
- 21:00Speaker 1: touchdown pass meeting twenty yards or more since Tua did
- 21:03Speaker 1: it in December of it has been over a full season.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Fascinating matchup coming up this week in Miami, potentially in
- 21:11Speaker 1: the rain. For the fifth time in six years, Andy
- 21:14Speaker 1: Reid's chiefs are opening two and Oh and here's a shocker.
- 21:17Speaker 1: The offense looks just fine, people. It looks just fine.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Seven different chiefs players have at least five targets in
- 21:28Speaker 1: six different guys, James Palmer, have caught touchdowns. By the way.
- 21:32Speaker 1: They're in Indianapolis. You'll be there as well. We're taking
- 21:35Speaker 1: on the colts this week. I guess reports of that
- 21:36Speaker 1: offensive demise greatly exaggerated. I know where you're going with that.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Love the reference and you're right, Andrew, with those six
- 21:42Speaker 1: different players that have had receiving touchdowns through these first
- 21:46Speaker 1: two games. You know who's not part of that six?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Juju Smith Schuster and Marquez Valdez scantling, two big guys
- 21:51Speaker 1: that came in the off season to help this group,
- 21:53Speaker 1: and also sky more, their second round pick at wide receiver,
- 21:56Speaker 1: who a lot of people loved in camp, has only
- 21:58Speaker 1: played about fifteen snaps of these first two games. It's
- 22:00Speaker 1: getting spread around to everybody. And then one big example
- 22:03Speaker 1: I want to point out is the forty one yard
- 22:05Speaker 1: touchdown past that Patrick Mahomes had to Justin Watson over
- 22:09Speaker 1: an all pro corner in J C Jackson. He was
- 22:12Speaker 1: in on that play because mcole Hardman had tweaked his ankle.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That shows you how deep this group is and the
- 22:17Speaker 1: trust Patrick Mahomes has going to all of these different players.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Now he did admit this week that the game planning
- 22:23Speaker 1: takes a little bit longer. There was some miscuse in
- 22:25Speaker 1: the first half against the chargers because there's so many
- 22:27Speaker 1: new faces in that group. But the major part of
- 22:30Speaker 1: it is Andrew. He trust this offensive line to give
- 22:33Speaker 1: him protection to go through his progressions. They were very
- 22:36Speaker 1: strong against the chargers. Another talented front seven with the
- 22:39Speaker 1: colts is who they're going to have on Sunday. But
- 22:42Speaker 1: that offensive line the reason why Mahomes is spreading the
- 22:44Speaker 1: football as the chiefs looked to go to three and
- 22:46Speaker 1: Oh and Indianapolis looks to win its first game. Another
- 22:52Speaker 1: slow start here under frank right. We've seen one in
- 22:54Speaker 1: four and one in five day rally and they've been okay.
- 22:57Speaker 1: This is a big one in Indianapolis. Coming up next,
- 23:01Speaker 1: Russell Wilson tries to make friends with the broncos. To
- 23:05Speaker 1: Jimmy Garoppolo is back for the forty niners. We put
- 23:09Speaker 1: Sunday night in the spotlights straight ahead, big, big Breney.
- 23:15Speaker 1: They've seen around me. All Right, Jimmy Garoppolo is thet quarterback. Yep,
- 23:24Speaker 1: like really. Kyle Shanahan confirmed this week that Trey Lance
- 23:27Speaker 1: is not coming back. That is season ending surgery. Now
- 23:31Speaker 1: Garoppolo goes on the road on Sunday night in prime
- 23:35Speaker 1: time to face Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. Live
- 23:39Speaker 1: in Santa Clara. Kleb Burton with us now, as we
- 23:41Speaker 1: cover the forty niners side of this. They have turned
- 23:43Speaker 1: the page. What to expect now, Kaylo? What are the
- 23:46Speaker 1: niners sang from Garoppolo and this new team on Sunday?
- 23:49Speaker 1: And to the niners are expecting and saying, let's pick
- 23:52Speaker 1: up right where we left off, which is getting their
- 23:54Speaker 1: first one of the season just last Sunday against the Seahawks,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and of course Garoppolo was a big part of the
- 23:59Speaker 1: reason why they came out with the win. When Trey
- 24:01Speaker 1: Lance went down towards the end of that first quarter,
- 24:03Speaker 1: Garoppolo picked up the slack. He was thirteen of twenty,
- 24:06Speaker 1: one and completions a hundred fifty four yards, two touchdowns,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and this is a quarterback who didn't even have the
- 24:11Speaker 1: playbook in the off season. But of course he is
- 24:13Speaker 1: stepping into this new world. They're going up against a
- 24:16Speaker 1: familiar foe and Russell Wilson. Garoppolo is just one and
- 24:19Speaker 1: four against Wilson in his NFL career, but he's also
- 24:22Speaker 1: eight and four on Primetime Games and they're looking forward
- 24:25Speaker 1: to a primetime matchup on Sunday. I will say this.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So one of the concerns with this team is the
- 24:29Speaker 1: lack of depth at the QB position, with train lance
- 24:32Speaker 1: now out of the picture. Garoppolo has had a series
- 24:35Speaker 1: of injuries throughout his history and now they could be
- 24:38Speaker 1: turning their attention. will be turning their attention to QB two.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Brock Purty, coming from Iowa state, known as Mr Irrelevant
- 24:46Speaker 1: or being the final pick in this year's draft, and
- 24:48Speaker 1: I went up to him and asked him about that
- 24:49Speaker 1: and he says I'm not irrelevant. He said right after
- 24:52Speaker 1: that game it was general manager John Lynch and Kyle
- 24:55Speaker 1: Shanahan that said to him you are one snap away
- 24:57Speaker 1: from taking the field and you have to be ready.
- 25:00Speaker 1: He says that has been his mindset ever since and
- 25:03Speaker 1: he's not worried about that whatsoever. I will add this.
- 25:05Speaker 1: They did just go out and signed Kent Burkett as well.
- 25:08Speaker 1: He played three years in Baltimore. Last year he's spent
- 25:11Speaker 1: with the packers but he has yet to throw a
- 25:13Speaker 1: regular season pass. But Shanahan said that he likes what
- 25:16Speaker 1: he brings. But there's a lot of comfortability knowing that
- 25:18Speaker 1: Garoppolo is in the picture now. Thank here the former
- 25:21Speaker 1: UV a quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, two hundred and fifty thousand
- 25:26Speaker 1: dollars for every game he plays. At least of the
- 25:29Speaker 1: snaps another Houndo if they can win Sunday night in Denver.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Thank you, Kayleb Burton. With the forty nine is now
- 25:34Speaker 1: the Broncos desider things. They got their first win. They
- 25:38Speaker 1: beat the texts in Sunday and the home opener. It
- 25:41Speaker 1: wasn't always pretty, however. I mean the operation still isn't
- 25:44Speaker 1: working smoothly. At one point the fans are counting down
- 25:47Speaker 1: the play clock to help the offense. There's moments and
- 25:51Speaker 1: there's plays that you know that are just miraculous plays.
- 25:55Speaker 1: There's plays that are easy ones. You Walk in or whatever,
- 25:57Speaker 1: the guy's wide open. There's plays that are contested and
- 25:59Speaker 1: we've had a lot of contested ones. We just fairly.
- 26:01Speaker 1: You know, I didn't get in there here or there.
- 26:03Speaker 1: So I'm not concerned. I'm not. I'm actually really excited because,
- 26:06Speaker 1: you know, I think that where we can go if
- 26:08Speaker 1: we just find tune that little piece and making that
- 26:10Speaker 1: one or two plays here there every game. I always
- 26:12Speaker 1: call them game altering plays. I mean it's it makes
- 26:14Speaker 1: a massive difference in the Games. The broncos James Palmer
- 26:17Speaker 1: Alive in Denver were not good for us on the
- 26:20Speaker 1: TV show on Sunday. They are now, Oh for six
- 26:24Speaker 1: in the red zone through two games. How do they
- 26:26Speaker 1: fix that? Let's first say Andrew. We Know Russell Wilson
- 26:29Speaker 1: is always a positive individual, but it is somewhat positive.
- 26:32Speaker 1: In Denver they had the seventh best offense in the
- 26:35Speaker 1: NFL in terms of total offense. But yes, you're right,
- 26:38Speaker 1: they're tied for last with the Seahawks in terms of
- 26:40Speaker 1: red zone offense. And how do they fix that? Well,
- 26:43Speaker 1: Nathaniel Hackett believes they need to be more balanced down
- 26:45Speaker 1: there in the red zone. You heard Russ talking about
- 26:47Speaker 1: the little issues that they've had. Obviously two fumbles on
- 26:50Speaker 1: the one. They've had five straight drives it's start this
- 26:53Speaker 1: season where they've had a goal to go situation where
- 26:56Speaker 1: they haven't scored. That's the only time that's happened in
- 26:58Speaker 1: thirty years to start a season. So there are some
- 27:01Speaker 1: outliers that they think they can fix some of these
- 27:03Speaker 1: things and when I've talked to guys in the locker
- 27:04Speaker 1: room after that game in Seattle and throughout this week
- 27:07Speaker 1: it's been there's some special things we can do on
- 27:09Speaker 1: offense if this little red zone thing which this little
- 27:12Speaker 1: red zone thing scoring points right there, twenty four and
- 27:14Speaker 1: points is a big deal. But if they fix that,
- 27:16Speaker 1: the offense is moving the football. So that's kind of
- 27:19Speaker 1: the where they stand in terms of the red zone.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Not a lot of panic, but just a lot of frustration.
- 27:24Speaker 1: From what I've told they'd probably feel a little bit
- 27:26Speaker 1: better if they got a clean bill of health for
- 27:28Speaker 1: this one. That, though, is unlikely. What's the latest on
- 27:31Speaker 1: the broncos decent list of injuries? And let's start on
- 27:33Speaker 1: that defensive side of the ball, because we know Pat
- 27:35Speaker 1: Surtan is a big part of what they do defensively
- 27:37Speaker 1: and we saw what he did against DK metcalf, a
- 27:39Speaker 1: big physical receiver, well, obviously against Deebo Sam. You would
- 27:42Speaker 1: like to have Pat Sertan out there as a big,
- 27:44Speaker 1: physical corner. He's going to return to the practice field today.
- 27:47Speaker 1: He left that game against the Texans with a shoulder injury,
- 27:50Speaker 1: so we'll see if he can go on Sunday. This
- 27:52Speaker 1: is gonna be his first real test, to my understanding,
- 27:54Speaker 1: today in practice and on that offensive line, they know
- 27:56Speaker 1: they need to slow down Nick Bosa, who moves around,
- 27:58Speaker 1: Philly Turner, who they like to be their starting right
- 28:01Speaker 1: tackle is still trying to get up to speed. He's
- 28:03Speaker 1: practiced this week. They won't say he'd be their starting
- 28:06Speaker 1: right tackle, but you would assume Andrew, if he's healthy,
- 28:08Speaker 1: he would be helping them out and on that defensive
- 28:10Speaker 1: side of the ball as well, their signal caller, the
- 28:12Speaker 1: kind of the brain trust of that group. And Josie
- 28:14Speaker 1: jewel at the Middle Linebacker spot, missed the first two
- 28:17Speaker 1: games with a calf injury. He's returning to practice, so
- 28:20Speaker 1: that's a big part. But Jerry Judy not out at
- 28:22Speaker 1: practice right now. That is a big hole if he
- 28:26Speaker 1: can't play for this offense. But again, this defense knows
- 28:29Speaker 1: this group very well. You Have D J Jones, you
- 28:31Speaker 1: have k one Williams, you have Gero everro coming over,
- 28:33Speaker 1: who who knows them very well from being with the rams,
- 28:36Speaker 1: exactly one of the Rams DB coaches the last couple
- 28:39Speaker 1: of years here in two games a year against Kyle
- 28:42Speaker 1: Shannahan and Jimmy Garoppolo. Thank you, James Palmer. Alive in Denver.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Joe Burrow and the Bengals have not gotten going yet.
- 28:48Speaker 1: They are Oh and two and, if you haven't heard,
- 28:52Speaker 1: as they get ready for the jets, he has been
- 28:56Speaker 1: sacked thirteen times. Everyone is is frustrated but, like I said,
- 29:02Speaker 1: we're not panicking. Two Games and we got fifteen games,
- 29:05Speaker 1: so I'll just take a deep breath and relax. We're
- 29:07Speaker 1: gonna be fine. We're not worried about it. It reminds
- 29:11Speaker 1: me of Han Solo, Brian Baldinger and the original Star Wars.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We're all fine here. How are you unpack the bengals
- 29:17Speaker 1: offensive struggles? Is that the line? Is he holding the
- 29:19Speaker 1: ball too long? Is it play calling? What is it?
- 29:22Speaker 1: There's a lot of blame to go around, really to everybody,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and you don't have to look very far in either
- 29:27Speaker 1: the first two games to find it. I mean it's
- 29:29Speaker 1: right out there for you. The good thing for Joe
- 29:31Speaker 1: Burrow and the bengals everything is correctable. The jets are
- 29:34Speaker 1: a good defensive front. They have not played well yet
- 29:37Speaker 1: up front, but they're capable of playing like the cowboys
- 29:39Speaker 1: did and like the steelers did. They've got that type
- 29:42Speaker 1: of talent. So they're gonna be under the microscope this
- 29:44Speaker 1: week and maybe the bengals might be under manned as well,
- 29:47Speaker 1: as Lele Collins, their right tackle, former cowboy, missed a
- 29:50Speaker 1: second day of practice this week with what the bengals
- 29:53Speaker 1: are calling a back injury. Bengals jets in New York
- 29:56Speaker 1: coming up on Sunday. Thank you, Brian Buldinger. In that
- 29:58Speaker 1: game at one PM Eastern time, kicking off at the
- 30:01Speaker 1: exact same time we got the Patriots and the Ravens.
- 30:05Speaker 1: This after a fantastic performance, three hundred yards passing over
- 30:09Speaker 1: a hundred yards on the ground last week from Lamar Jackson.
- 30:13Speaker 1: As once again, Lamar Jackson answers his critics, something belichick
- 30:18Speaker 1: was reminded of earlier this week. Belichick talked a little
- 30:22Speaker 1: bit about how they brought you in and met with
- 30:24Speaker 1: you before the draft and were pick. You remember anything
- 30:27Speaker 1: about that and what were the sort of impressions there? Um,
- 30:30Speaker 1: I see belichick smile. Um, usually I see him, he's
- 30:33Speaker 1: public face like that, straight facing God. When I see smile,
- 30:36Speaker 1: my name. You Got Humor, like I told him about you,
- 30:39Speaker 1: like yeah, I wasn't expecting you to be smiling. UHEN,
- 30:45Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson. That ever, thirty two overall pick the Baltimore Ravens.
- 30:50Speaker 1: One more thing before we go in, or at the
- 30:53Speaker 1: court goes first. Do you guys know that Bill's Mafia right,
- 30:56Speaker 1: one of the best fan bases in the NFL. They
- 30:58Speaker 1: are launching the mini Mafia. Those mafia's opening up their
- 31:02Speaker 1: fan base two six to fourteen year olds. So not
- 31:05Speaker 1: only do you get the invitations to special activities, sweepstakes
- 31:08Speaker 1: and events, the first kids registered received a pair of
- 31:13Speaker 1: bills Zubaz Sunglutts, which sounds like a joke, it is
- 31:16Speaker 1: actually real. Remember, kids, as you enter the mini Mafia,
- 31:20Speaker 1: crime does not pay. Sarah Walsh. One more thing. Tom
- 31:24Speaker 1: Brady makes all the headlines down here. How about some love, though,
- 31:26Speaker 1: for Safety Mike Edwards. The Bucks miked them up before
- 31:29Speaker 1: the game against the saints and he was hurt, saying
- 31:32Speaker 1: his hands are certified and that he has to have
- 31:35Speaker 1: at least top five hands in the league. Oh and
- 31:37Speaker 1: then he went out and had to pick six. By
- 31:39Speaker 1: the way, going back to the start of last season,
- 31:41Speaker 1: nobody in the League has more. He's got three of those. Fantastic,
- 31:46Speaker 1: Brian Baldinger. One more thing, Andrew. We are in the
- 31:49Speaker 1: age of the Freak Athlete. I mean after watching last
- 31:52Speaker 1: week and watching Lamar, watching Kyler, watching tyreek, watching Micah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: watching jail and hurts like these teams have these players
- 32:02Speaker 1: they're so good. There's nothing that don't they can't do,
- 32:06Speaker 1: and these outcomes are being determined by their freakish athletic ability,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and hopefully we see some of that on display this
- 32:13Speaker 1: evening with guys like myles Garrett or not ge Harris
- 32:16Speaker 1: or chase claypold or whomever. My one more think we
- 32:19Speaker 1: go back to what I mentioned earlier with Mark Ross
- 32:21Speaker 1: here about Jerry Jones. He's speaking at some function today
- 32:24Speaker 1: in Dallas. He says that he would welcome a quarterback controversy,
- 32:27Speaker 1: meaning cooper rushed place so well that we'd actually talk
- 32:30Speaker 1: about whether or not he should play over dock, and
- 32:32Speaker 1: he actually did say that if there is a legit
- 32:35Speaker 1: quarterback controversy, that if rush plays so well that he
- 32:39Speaker 1: would walk to New York. Jerry, it's miles. See you there.
