• 0:56
Speaker 1: to finish all the details for something I'm hosting, which
• 0:59
Speaker 1: is called the souf Falls Talent Show. Yeah, if you

Speaker 1: details online this afternoon. I've been trying to get this done.

Speaker 1: We had my daughter's wedding, then we had the suit
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Falls Fireworks, and then this last week I've been trying
• 1:15
Speaker 1: to get everything caught up. And again I haven't got
• 1:18
Speaker 1: all my details, but I'll have it posted today, Facebook,
• 1:21
Speaker 1: dot Com, Slash, Sonny Radio. I'll have the details about
• 1:24
Speaker 1: the Sue Falls Talent Show, and I've got prizes for people.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: I'm still looking for some additional sponsors. So if you're
• 1:31
Speaker 1: a business and you're like, hey, I'd like to be
• 1:32
Speaker 1: a part of that, reach out to me today and

Speaker 1: for the sux Falls Talent Show. Multiple age groups. There's

Speaker 1: three different age groups, so there's younger kids, then there's
• 1:45
Speaker 1: like teens, and then there's adults. So if you're talented
• 1:48
Speaker 1: in any age group, be sure to join me at
• 1:51
Speaker 1: izzy'scon again free admission. It is this Saturday at the
• 1:54
Speaker 1: Sioux Falls Convention Center, so you'd be games, there's gonna
• 1:57
Speaker 1: be some food. There's going to be a Baye Blaze tournament,
• 2:00
Speaker 1: so you can come be a part of that. There's
• 2:02
Speaker 1: also like Pokemon cards galore, over a million Pokemon cards
• 2:07
Speaker 1: to be given away for free. Yeah. Chris and Nick
• 2:10
Speaker 1: from Izzy's Jim big time Pokemon fans, and one of
• 2:14
Speaker 1: the things they really wanted to do is make this
• 2:16
Speaker 1: thing larger than life. And one of the ways to
• 2:19
Speaker 1: do that, they're like, what if we give away, like,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: I don't know, a million Pokemon cards. It is so
• 2:24
Speaker 1: cool to watch these guys do what they do, and
• 2:27
Speaker 1: I've been honored to be just a tiny little part
• 2:29
Speaker 1: of this event. Izzy's Con. It's coming up this Saturday
• 2:32
Speaker 1: again ten am till eight pm at the sou Falls
• 2:36
Speaker 1: Convention Center. I've got a link to all of the
• 2:38
Speaker 1: details on our Facebook page, So if you're wondering what
• 2:41
Speaker 1: the heck is Izzy's Con, just go to the website
• 2:43
Speaker 1: Facebook dot com slash Sioux Fallsnews or facebook dot com
• 2:48
Speaker 1: slash Sunny Radio. I've got a link on both of
• 2:51
Speaker 1: those and you'll see the Izzy's Con logo, and there's posters,
• 2:54
Speaker 1: and there's details, and there's all kinds of stuff. A
• 2:57
Speaker 1: big thank you to all of the sponsors who stepped
• 2:59
Speaker 1: up to help keep this thing free. Because when Chris
• 3:01
Speaker 1: and Nick from Izzy's Jim decided to do this, and
• 3:05
Speaker 1: if you ask Nick, he'll say Chris decided to do this.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: It's funny to watch him throw his brother under the bus.
• 3:10
Speaker 1: He's like, no, this is all him. This was his
• 3:12
Speaker 1: idea and whatever we can do to make it work
• 3:14
Speaker 1: is what we want to do. And I'm like, I'm
• 3:16
Speaker 1: cool with that. I'll come and help make it work.
• 3:18
Speaker 1: So we are so excited to again be a part
• 3:21
Speaker 1: of it on Saturday. It is free and I've got
• 3:23
Speaker 1: free tickets. We gave away a bunch of free tickets
• 3:25
Speaker 1: at the parade on Saturday. We gave away a bunch
• 3:28
Speaker 1: of free tickets at the Siux Falls Fireworks event last Saturday.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: And if you did not get a free ticket handed
• 3:34
Speaker 1: into your hand, come to the event anyway, because you're
• 3:37
Speaker 1: going to be giving away tickets at the door as well. Now,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: why in the world have tickets if it's free, Because
• 3:42
Speaker 1: they want to be able to utilize the tickets to
• 3:45
Speaker 1: count how many people came to this event, because that's
• 3:47
Speaker 1: the big question everybody asks every year we do the
• 3:50
Speaker 1: Siux Falls fireworks event. Every year I have people go, well,
• 3:53
Speaker 1: how many people were there? I don't know. It was free,
• 3:56
Speaker 1: so everybody that showed up was there. Now, last year,
• 4:00
Speaker 1: in years pasted, it was estimated we had like ten
• 4:02
Speaker 1: thousand people. This year I was told it was probably
• 4:05
Speaker 1: closer to twelve thousand people. All I know is in
• 4:07
Speaker 1: our wrap up meeting, we were talking about parking and
• 4:10
Speaker 1: they said every single space in the one lot was full,
• 4:14
Speaker 1: and most spaces were full on the other lot. The
• 4:16
Speaker 1: only reason it wasn't completely full is we had some
• 4:18
Speaker 1: mud puddles that we were kind of like parking around.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: So yeah, we I don't want to say we hit capacity,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: but we did really really really really well. But that's
• 4:27
Speaker 1: still the first question everybody asked, is, well, how many
• 4:29
Speaker 1: people are there? So Izy's con We said, how about
• 4:33
Speaker 1: we do this. How about we give away free tickets.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: It's free to get in, but then everybody that shows
• 4:37
Speaker 1: up we throw a ticket in a thing, so when
• 4:39
Speaker 1: we're done, we could go through and count how many
• 4:40
Speaker 1: people were here. So I'll have some sort of estimate
• 4:43
Speaker 1: at least on how many people show up throughout the weekend.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: And when I say the weekend, it's Saturday, it's this
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Saturday only. And there are people I've had people say, well,
• 4:50
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna make it Saurday, I'm gonna go on Sunday. Well,
• 4:52
Speaker 1: you're gonna be there helping us clean up then, because
• 4:54
Speaker 1: it's done on Saturday night, Saturday from ten am till
• 4:58
Speaker 1: eight pm at the Sux Falls Convention Center. And again
• 5:02
Speaker 1: we've got the air show going until five o'clock and
• 5:05
Speaker 1: then it's after the air show is when we're going
• 5:07
Speaker 1: to do the official Sue Falls Talent Show. But if
• 5:10
Speaker 1: you want to come in and practice ahead of time,
• 5:13
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have opportunities to practice earlier in the day.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: I also have some fun game show things we're going
• 5:18
Speaker 1: to do to give away some prizes earlier in the
• 5:20
Speaker 1: day where we have room. And again, there's so much
• 5:22
Speaker 1: going on at izzy'scon but I get to run the
• 5:25
Speaker 1: stage and have some fund so we're gonna have some
• 5:27
Speaker 1: music planed the whole time. So if you're just going
• 5:28
Speaker 1: to come in and sit down and enjoy a nice
• 5:31
Speaker 1: place to sit and relax and maybe have some food.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: You can do that, but there's also going to be,
• 5:35
Speaker 1: like I said, the opportunity to come in and practice
• 5:38
Speaker 1: ahead of time for the talent show. And then the
• 5:40
Speaker 1: suit Falls Talent Show will be happening after five pm
• 5:44
Speaker 1: because that is when the Seux Falls Air Show wraps up.
• 5:47
Speaker 1: So there's some people that want to go to the
• 5:48
Speaker 1: air show and they also want to be a part
• 5:50
Speaker 1: of the talent show. And I said, I am not
• 5:52
Speaker 1: going to make you choose. I want you to be
• 5:53
Speaker 1: able to go to both. So enjoy the air show
• 5:57
Speaker 1: and then come join us afterwards. Again, we go until
• 5:59
Speaker 1: eight pm, So that's done at five. We have from
• 6:01
Speaker 1: five till eight to have a darn good time and
• 6:04
Speaker 1: again from ten am till eight pm at the convention center.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: I'm getting confused myself. I've got all the details online
• 6:11
Speaker 1: and I've got a link to it Facebook dot com
• 6:13
Speaker 1: slash Sunny Radio and Facebook dot com slash Sue Falls News.
• 6:17
