- 0:30Speaker 1: Certify Recovery, Healing your Recovery, Addiction and mental health practitioner.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's all about helping people on their paths and their
- 0:37Speaker 1: journeys and their purpose to a new and better youth
- 0:39Speaker 1: through self discovery. I'm all about helping people when it
- 0:43Speaker 1: comes to focusing on yourself instead of you focusing on
- 0:47Speaker 1: other people and doing what everybody else wants you to
- 0:50Speaker 1: do and doing what you feel is was best for you. Now.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I was supposed to do this podcast Monday, but I
- 0:58Speaker 1: took a couple of days because I wanted to decide
- 1:03Speaker 1: what my topic was going to be. And the topic
- 1:06Speaker 1: for the day is going to be Delusion versus Illusion
- 1:13Speaker 1: versus Truth, and I say that because with everything that's
- 1:19Speaker 1: going on as far as jobs are concerned and businesses
- 1:23Speaker 1: are concerned, it's like everything that we thought was true
- 1:28Speaker 1: when it comes to our lives has pretty much been
- 1:31Speaker 1: proven to be a lie. And I'm not really surprised
- 1:35Speaker 1: that this is happening, because I'd have to go back
- 1:37Speaker 1: to The Devil's Advocate when it comes down to this
- 1:41Speaker 1: particular topic. Now, I remember when I first watched The
- 1:46Speaker 1: Devil's Advocate. I was mind blown because there are so
- 1:50Speaker 1: many things in that movie that I see now today
- 1:53Speaker 1: that I'm just like they called something that basically essentially
- 1:57Speaker 1: is now infuition, and what we speak into existence can
- 2:03Speaker 1: be how things turn out. So, for example, if you
- 2:07Speaker 1: keep saying that you're not good enough, that you're not worthy,
- 2:09Speaker 1: that you're not you know, deserving, then guess what you
- 2:12Speaker 1: won't be. So when it comes to the delusion and
- 2:17Speaker 1: the illusion of it all, that's when I think about
- 2:20Speaker 1: the Red Pill. When you go down the rabbit hole
- 2:23Speaker 1: that is of Alice in Wonderland, you get down there,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you don't know what's down there, and at first everything
- 2:30Speaker 1: seems bright, everything seems peaceful, but then as you continue on,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you see darkness and you see chaos and you see destruction,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and then you end up in front of someone that
- 2:43Speaker 1: can dictate your life, whether it be a judge, whether
- 2:47Speaker 1: it be other people, and that's gonna be your crucifixion,
- 2:51Speaker 1: your consequences, repercussions, and karma. And it took me a
- 2:55Speaker 1: little bit to understand that. So now before I walk
- 2:59Speaker 1: down any past, regardless of what it is, I ask myself,
- 3:06Speaker 1: is this something that I really need to get into
- 3:09Speaker 1: When it comes to my emotions, is it something I
- 3:11Speaker 1: really need to be upset about angry about? And if
- 3:14Speaker 1: I am exactly how upset am I about it? From
- 3:18Speaker 1: one to ten? Sometimes I gotta ask myself from one
- 3:21Speaker 1: to ten, how do I feel about these particular situations
- 3:26Speaker 1: and what emotions am I feeling? And once I started
- 3:30Speaker 1: doing that, a lot of things that I used to
- 3:32Speaker 1: be mad at, I'm I'm not mad at no more.
- 3:35Speaker 1: A lot of things that used to shock me they don't.
- 3:39Speaker 1: So sometimes we they said that laugh now, cry later
- 3:43Speaker 1: sing That kind of pops in my mind as well.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But when it comes to s change, regardless of what
- 3:55Speaker 1: changes you're making, it is about maintaining it. A lot
- 4:00Speaker 1: of people make changes, but they can't maintain it because
- 4:03Speaker 1: they don't know how to maintain it. And that's something
- 4:07Speaker 1: we need to talk about today, is maintaining whatever changes
- 4:11Speaker 1: you're gonna make to do that. Your self esteem, self worth,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and self value has to be built only by you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It cannot be based on anybody else but you. And
- 4:23Speaker 1: I say that because you can't let what people say
- 4:26Speaker 1: get to you. And at one time it used to
- 4:30Speaker 1: when people used to say certain things, Now it doesn't. Also,
- 4:36Speaker 1: when it comes to somebody dying, you have to deal
- 4:40Speaker 1: with the aftermath of everything that they have to deal with.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And that's something that I also want to talk about
- 4:49Speaker 1: in this conversation because yesterday was like a day where
- 4:53Speaker 1: I was just like, oh my god, I just want
- 4:55Speaker 1: to go. I just want to pack my stuff up,
- 4:58Speaker 1: take my child and move back to the floor. I
- 5:00Speaker 1: ain't gonna lie. Sometimes when you make decisions, sometimes you're like,
- 5:08Speaker 1: why did I even make this decision in the first place?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Why did I even go down this direction in the
- 5:14Speaker 1: first place? What was I thinking? But sometimes the things
- 5:19Speaker 1: that we think are right are actually wrong, and sometimes
- 5:24Speaker 1: there's a reason and it may not show up automatically.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And yesterday it was one of them days I was
- 5:31Speaker 1: questioning that. So I'm gonna tell y'all what happened. We
- 5:35Speaker 1: have two houses that my father owns, and well fifty
- 5:39Speaker 1: percent of one and then one hundred percent of of
- 5:41Speaker 1: another one, and well, what happened in this particular situation
- 5:48Speaker 1: was somebody's trying to sell the other house, and it's
- 5:52Speaker 1: in a trust, and it's very complicated, and so based
- 5:58Speaker 1: upon at the time when it was presented, I said,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I wasn't ready to deal with it because number one,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm dealing with the situation with this house, and my
- 6:07Speaker 1: father did not put anybody on the house, so we
- 6:10Speaker 1: have to go through all of these different things to
- 6:14Speaker 1: try to get the house until my mother's name, my name,
- 6:17Speaker 1: or my sister's name. Okay, So the lawyer that I
- 6:22Speaker 1: talked to yesterday said that it can be done and
- 6:26Speaker 1: that it may take a little time, but it can
- 6:28Speaker 1: be done where it can be automatically switched. We don't
- 6:30Speaker 1: have to worry about doing a you know, application and
- 6:34Speaker 1: all this other stuff to refinance it, so hopefully we
- 6:38Speaker 1: won't have to. But while we're doing that, we're also
- 6:41Speaker 1: gonna do a trust to where me and my sister
- 6:45Speaker 1: get to make decisions and anything happens to us, our
- 6:47Speaker 1: kids get to make decisions and it just passes down,
- 6:51Speaker 1: so we don't have to worry about this particular issue
- 6:53Speaker 1: being a problem for me. I'm also going to do
- 6:57Speaker 1: something where there is a will and testament to where
- 7:00Speaker 1: if anything happens, my son will be taken care of
- 7:03Speaker 1: as well as far as who there would it gonna
- 7:07Speaker 1: be responsible for him. I'm sorry, y'all just literally woke up,
- 7:10Speaker 1: but you know, my my cousin found a buyer for
- 7:16Speaker 1: the other house. The problem is is that we have
- 7:20Speaker 1: to set up a r Now we have to set
- 7:23Speaker 1: up a uh uh a state, which is something we
- 7:28Speaker 1: didn't wanna do because with the probate, it was just
- 7:32Speaker 1: about changing everything over to where we wouldn't have to
- 7:36Speaker 1: do in a state. We could just change everything over,
- 7:39Speaker 1: but we may have to in order to be able
- 7:41Speaker 1: to make decisions. So you know, that's something we have
- 7:46Speaker 1: to do as far as you know. So this situation
- 7:53Speaker 1: has gotten really ugly between my father's side, the family
- 7:56Speaker 1: and us because of this whole situation because the way
- 8:01Speaker 1: that the trust is set up, which I'm not gonna
- 8:03Speaker 1: get into, but the reason this is important because when
- 8:07Speaker 1: I think about all of this. I think about businesses
- 8:11Speaker 1: when it comes to two two or more people going
- 8:14Speaker 1: into business together, and then when they go into business together,
- 8:20Speaker 1: somebody gonna end up being greedy, somebody gonna end up
- 8:23Speaker 1: trying to do something they have no business doing. Or
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you have a husband and a wife, and the
- 8:28Speaker 1: wife basically contribute the money to start the business and
- 8:32Speaker 1: it does well, and then he starts doing her dirty,
- 8:35Speaker 1: not understanding she put money into that business and she
- 8:39Speaker 1: owns fifty one percent of the business, and yet you
- 8:43Speaker 1: want to cast her out. And then she turns around
- 8:47Speaker 1: and she's actually a majority stakeholder and then decides to
- 8:51Speaker 1: fire you. That can happen as well. It happens more
- 8:55Speaker 1: so than what people may or may not think. N So,
- 9:00Speaker 1: so when you are in these particular situations, you feel like,
- 9:05Speaker 1: why am I taking on somebody else's problems? And you
- 9:11Speaker 1: feel like this is not have anything to do with me.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Sometimes it's not always about the money. And I say
- 9:19Speaker 1: that because you know, when you do all of these things,
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm realizing now, I'm starting to really believe that this
- 9:27Speaker 1: is just to cute everybody in debt, not just the person,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but their family because the fact that when you buy
- 9:36Speaker 1: a house or when you buy a car, you still
- 9:39Speaker 1: have to pay taxes on that car. You still have
- 9:42Speaker 1: to pay taxes on that house, so it's not like
- 9:47Speaker 1: you bought it and then you get to keep it
- 9:51Speaker 1: and then that's it. But what's funny about it is
- 9:55Speaker 1: if you look at the depletion of the car, like
- 9:58Speaker 1: my car, I find out how much it's worth, and
- 10:01Speaker 1: it's under one thousand dollars and it's a twenty twenty
- 10:03Speaker 1: one car. So it's just really funny how you'll buy
- 10:08Speaker 1: something and then as soon as you take it off
- 10:09Speaker 1: the lot, it depletes. It's funny how when you go
- 10:13Speaker 1: to work every day, you can't go on vacation when
- 10:16Speaker 1: you want to, You can't do what you want to.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Like I had an interview for a job yesterday, and
- 10:24Speaker 1: the only reason I'm getting this job just in case
- 10:27Speaker 1: my mother cannot be the person on the house and
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to be the person that's gonna have
- 10:32Speaker 1: to be on the house, so at least I'll be
- 10:34Speaker 1: able to, you know, get the house. But she asked
- 10:41Speaker 1: me a bunch of questions and I answer the questions straightforward, Lee.
- 10:46Speaker 1: But she didn't even look at me. She just basically
- 10:50Speaker 1: talked to me. And then when we were done, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 1: we had talked a little bit and I asked a
- 10:56Speaker 1: couple questions. I asked her how much the job was
- 11:00Speaker 1: gonna be and she said it was between seventeen and
- 11:02Speaker 1: twenty five, depending on what the experiences. And I told
- 11:04Speaker 1: her between twenty one and twenty five, and that's how
- 11:08Speaker 1: much I told her. But I'm noticing that a lot
- 11:13Speaker 1: of people that go to college, they graduate and they
- 11:17Speaker 1: don't make more money than a person that doesn't go
- 11:20Speaker 1: to college. A lot of people that especially in certain states,
- 11:25Speaker 1: will only make maybe ten dollars an hour, eleven to
- 11:29Speaker 1: thirteen dollars an hour, some from thirteen to fifteen. Some
- 11:33Speaker 1: may hit between seventeen and eighteen. But that's as far
- 11:37Speaker 1: as it goes. So the sad part about it is
- 11:41Speaker 1: you get in these jobs, you work for a year,
- 11:44Speaker 1: they do your bonuses, and then those bonuses are added
- 11:48Speaker 1: on and taxed. A bonus used to didn't be taxed
- 11:52Speaker 1: now it is, so now you have a situation where
- 11:55Speaker 1: you're dealing with at the end of the year, you
- 11:58Speaker 1: owing money, even though that wasn't your intention. You didn't
- 12:05Speaker 1: know you were gonna get a bonus. But now that's
- 12:08Speaker 1: on your taxes. Now they're saying you owe money. So
- 12:12Speaker 1: really a lot of it is just to sabotage you
- 12:15Speaker 1: in whatever way they can sabotage you in whatever shape
- 12:18Speaker 1: form of fashion. Now, as far as I'm tryna think,
- 12:27Speaker 1: as far as you going to work, every day you
- 12:31Speaker 1: get up, you go to world between six and five o'c.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Five thirty six o'clock maybe, And so you get up,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you do your work every day you get off, and
- 12:43Speaker 1: then you have to get up and take care of kids,
- 12:46Speaker 1: take care of a husband, take care of a wife.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You gotta clean up the house, you gotta make sure
- 12:53Speaker 1: everything is as it is. And so it's a lot
- 12:58Speaker 1: of things that people are saying that really makes no
- 13:01Speaker 1: sense to me. Like, for example, they talk about a
- 13:04Speaker 1: woman being a housewife, and I say, well, how long
- 13:07Speaker 1: does she need to be a housewife? Because when these
- 13:10Speaker 1: kids get older, nine times out of ten, the majority
- 13:14Speaker 1: of them are folding their own clothes, washing dishes, cleaning bathroom,
- 13:20Speaker 1: vacuuming floors, making their beds up. They're even changing their
- 13:24Speaker 1: own beds, or they're helping you to clean around the house,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and that's the whole point of you giving them allowances
- 13:30Speaker 1: so they can learn responsibility. So if these children are
- 13:34Speaker 1: learning responsibility, and these children are doing chores, then that
- 13:38Speaker 1: means that woman nine times out of ten is not
- 13:41Speaker 1: doing it by herself. She's got these kids helping. And
- 13:45Speaker 1: then as they get older, they're learning how to cook,
- 13:48Speaker 1: they're learning how to make dinner, they're learning how to
- 13:51Speaker 1: make their cells something to eat, so she doesn't have
- 13:53Speaker 1: to do that if she has to work. So we're
- 13:56Speaker 1: not in this realistic world where things are how they
- 14:02Speaker 1: should be. They're how in the illusion version of it
- 14:07Speaker 1: what it should be. For example, friends, you go to
- 14:12Speaker 1: your friends and you tell them about your life, You
- 14:14Speaker 1: tell them about what you got going on, and the
- 14:16Speaker 1: next thing you know, they're plotting on you. The next
- 14:19Speaker 1: thing you know, they trying to take what you have.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And these are people that you think of your friends,
- 14:23Speaker 1: when in all actuality, they're not women and men chasing
- 14:28Speaker 1: after a person that doesn't want you, that made it
- 14:30Speaker 1: clear they didn't want you, made it clear they wanted
- 14:32Speaker 1: nothing to do with you, but yet you still pursuing
- 14:35Speaker 1: this person anyway. That's delusion and illusion. When you want
- 14:39Speaker 1: what you want, but you don't realize this other person
- 14:42Speaker 1: may not reciprocate that. And just because you want something
- 14:46Speaker 1: doesn't mean it's gonna happen and doesn't mean you gonna
- 14:50Speaker 1: get it either. And so you have a lot of
- 14:52Speaker 1: people that will sit up here and be side chicks
- 14:55Speaker 1: and mess around with another man. And yet instead this
- 14:58Speaker 1: man is not leaving his wife and he's never going
- 15:01Speaker 1: to leave his wife. But in your mind, you thinking
- 15:03Speaker 1: that this person is gonna leave their wife when in
- 15:06Speaker 1: all actuality, they're not gonna leave their wife at all.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I need people to understand that whatever your delusion and
- 15:14Speaker 1: illusioning is doesn't mean that everybody else's delusion and illusion So,
- 15:19Speaker 1: like I said, you know, it took me getting away
- 15:23Speaker 1: from the world to understand that. So now when they
- 15:29Speaker 1: had come to my health and wellness, that is real.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Everything that's going on as far as medically is real.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But it also has something to do with spiritual baggage
- 15:39Speaker 1: as well, when it comes to all of this spiritual
- 15:43Speaker 1: weight that I had from taking on other people's problems
- 15:47Speaker 1: and other people's situations and being involved in stuff that
- 15:50Speaker 1: I have nothing to do with. Now that I am
- 15:53Speaker 1: getting into coaching, I get to pick and choose whose
- 15:57Speaker 1: stuff I wanna be involved in. But it's not about
- 16:00Speaker 1: me taking it on. It's more about me helping them
- 16:03Speaker 1: and assisting them and guiding them through it versus me
- 16:06Speaker 1: being involved in it. Now, I don't mean that I
- 16:09Speaker 1: won't being mostly invested because you know, I will cry
- 16:13Speaker 1: with you if you cry, and I'm a cry with
- 16:15Speaker 1: you cause some people's stories are gonna be so you know,
- 16:18Speaker 1: telling that you gonna cry. So that's that's compassion, that's empathy,
- 16:23Speaker 1: sympathy and understanding. But that does not mean that I'm
- 16:26Speaker 1: gonna get involved. But I'm dead to listen, and it
- 16:30Speaker 1: doesn't mean that I don't understand emotionally where they're coming from.
- 16:35Speaker 1: And us crying together, it's okay, you know, but I'm
- 16:39Speaker 1: not gonna get too invested to where I feel like
- 16:43Speaker 1: I gotta be involved. No, mm mm, not doing that.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So like that that that's how I look at the situation.
- 16:54Speaker 1: But at times we have to accept things for what
- 17:02Speaker 1: they are. And sometimes we been doing what's expected of
- 17:06Speaker 1: our lives for so long that we don't even know
- 17:10Speaker 1: who we are anymore. We don't even know what we're
- 17:13Speaker 1: meant to do, what we're meant to become. We're just
- 17:16Speaker 1: doing things that are pretty much expected, things that you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: pretty much everybody wants us to do. We're following certain
- 17:27Speaker 1: situations versus walking to the beat of our own drums.
- 17:30Speaker 1: If you look at everything that's going on in government
- 17:33Speaker 1: right now, and you looking at everything that Donald Trump
- 17:37Speaker 1: is doing, everything the Republicans are doing, it should make
- 17:41Speaker 1: a lot of people pissed off. Why Because your whole
- 17:45Speaker 1: entire life has been based on a lot based on
- 17:48Speaker 1: what these politicians have said about the American dream about
- 17:53Speaker 1: being able to go to college. All of these things
- 17:56Speaker 1: were lies, lies to keep you working, lie to basically
- 18:00Speaker 1: keep you motivated to something that was never real in
- 18:03Speaker 1: the first place. And a lot of people are now
- 18:07Speaker 1: coming to that realization, especially gen Z. Gen Z has
- 18:12Speaker 1: especially come into that realization. And that's why these kids
- 18:15Speaker 1: are the way they are, because they're realizing that what
- 18:20Speaker 1: is the point of working when I'm never gonna get
- 18:23Speaker 1: a raised because the managers are never gonna quit. Why
- 18:27Speaker 1: would I wanna be a manager and I'm only getting
- 18:30Speaker 1: paid maybe a dollar more than what I actually make.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Why would I go to college when they're only gonna
- 18:39Speaker 1: put me in a not in turn, but I forgot
- 18:44Speaker 1: what they call it. I forgot what they call it.
- 18:48Speaker 1: But y'all know what I'm talking about. And what's the
- 18:51Speaker 1: point when I've been working for ten years and you're
- 18:55Speaker 1: not gonna pay me twenty five dollars an hour starting off,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you wanna pay me less than that? And I've been working,
- 19:02Speaker 1: I've been working in this particular field for ten years.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You know. We can't get salary s. Some jobs now
- 19:10Speaker 1: are through temporary services where they can't get sickly, they
- 19:14Speaker 1: can't get vacation time, they can't get a holiday pay,
- 19:18Speaker 1: they can't get any of that. So that's the crazy part.
- 19:23Speaker 1: There are people that are even working while they're on vacation,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and that to me is crazy. Now, if you're doing
- 19:31Speaker 1: something like, for example, travel agency, for example, and you're
- 19:36Speaker 1: working for a couple of hours, because some people send
- 19:41Speaker 1: you emails and you may say, well, right now, I'm
- 19:43Speaker 1: on vacation, I'll be back within this time, and most
- 19:49Speaker 1: of them will understand in everything, and you might look.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You might look at couple things up researching and email
- 19:56Speaker 1: them back that don't take that long. And that's completely
- 20:00Speaker 1: fine if you're doing that, because if you are responding
- 20:06Speaker 1: to emails, or before you leave, you tell everybody, Look,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'm going on vacation. I'll be back within you know,
- 20:13Speaker 1: fourteen days. I will respond you know when I return.
- 20:20Speaker 1: A lot of us don't do that. We're still working
- 20:22Speaker 1: while we're on vacation. No, I'm not working while I'm
- 20:26Speaker 1: on vacation. That's just not happening. I need time to breathe,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I need time to reflect, I need time to enjoy
- 20:35Speaker 1: my life. People keep thinking they're really enjoying their lives
- 20:39Speaker 1: when they're really destroying themselves. So another example of that
- 20:44Speaker 1: is women in makeup. And what's funny about it is
- 20:50Speaker 1: I have very early skin. Makeup don't work on me
- 20:54Speaker 1: because my skin is so oily I'll sweat it off.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And I watched this one girl put on makeup, and
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'm just sitting there, like you putting all of these
- 21:04Speaker 1: chemicals that's exorbing in your pores into your skin ain't
- 21:09Speaker 1: nowhere in the world. I'm sorry. So I don't mind
- 21:14Speaker 1: the eyeshadow, and I don't mind the lipstick, but the
- 21:18Speaker 1: foundation and all that's just entirely too much. I don't
- 21:21Speaker 1: need to do all that. And that's why most of
- 21:24Speaker 1: these girls now look older than what they are because
- 21:28Speaker 1: makeup has something in it that makes you look older.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And I haven't really, you know, found any foundation or
- 21:36Speaker 1: anything like that that is non allegenic or something that's organic.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And so, like I said, it's just like all the
- 21:45Speaker 1: food that we're eating right now listeria and Donald Trump
- 21:49Speaker 1: fired all the people that would prepare us for this.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Like I said, they're dismantling this country, and a lot
- 21:58Speaker 1: of people are still making it excuses for this negativity.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Ain't no excuse for it. Ain't no excuse for it.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It's like a lot of people are still stuck in
- 22:10Speaker 1: the past. They're still stuck on stuff that really we
- 22:14Speaker 1: should be moving forward from and we should just be
- 22:17Speaker 1: one nation under God. To be honest. It should be
- 22:20Speaker 1: where people have a work life balance and don't have
- 22:23Speaker 1: to work eight hours that's stupid. It should be where
- 22:27Speaker 1: the housing rate shouldn't be as high, debt shouldn't be
- 22:31Speaker 1: what it is. My thing is, we should have universal
- 22:34Speaker 1: health care, in universal college where we don't have to
- 22:37Speaker 1: pay for health care, We don't have to pay for
- 22:39Speaker 1: going to college. You know what I'm saying, accept a
- 22:43Speaker 1: co pay, so my co pay is twenty five dollars
- 22:46Speaker 1: and that's all I should pay. You know, it shouldn't
- 22:49Speaker 1: be you had to pay a deductible until you pay it,
- 22:52Speaker 1: and then you look at your dental insurance, everything is
- 22:56Speaker 1: a certain percentage and I'm just like, you can't be serious.
- 23:00Speaker 1: They don't cover everything. And that's why people are dying
- 23:04Speaker 1: because when you go to the doctor, you're not being
- 23:07Speaker 1: tested for cancer immediately. They're not testing you for everything
- 23:11Speaker 1: to find out what's wrong. They're just testing you based
- 23:15Speaker 1: on what you're telling them, versus them saying, you know what,
- 23:18Speaker 1: We're gonna test everything. We're gonna check the stomach, we're
- 23:21Speaker 1: gonna check everything. We're gonna find out whether or not
- 23:23Speaker 1: it's cancer, whatever the case may be, and make sure
- 23:27Speaker 1: you good mm mm. None of that, none of that. So,
- 23:33Speaker 1: like I said, I'm not surprised by any of this.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Nothing surprises me. But then again, being somebody whose father
- 23:42Speaker 1: traveled and we went to the military and you know,
- 23:46Speaker 1: we went to different places, I'm glad I got to
- 23:49Speaker 1: have those experiences, which is why I travel as much
- 23:51Speaker 1: as I do now, and I'm very blessed about that
- 23:55Speaker 1: being able to travel. But you know, I gotta get
- 23:59Speaker 1: mys so to a place now where like a job,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I gotta get up because if I'm building a business,
- 24:05Speaker 1: I gotta get up, gotta get up. I gotta do
- 24:09Speaker 1: my travel agency stuff. I gotta get up. But because
- 24:13Speaker 1: of social media, we get the strolling and strolling and
- 24:17Speaker 1: then half our day is going by. Then they're talking
- 24:19Speaker 1: about getting rid of daylight savings time, which is gonna
- 24:22Speaker 1: be the worst mistake because now people are gonna be
- 24:24Speaker 1: in the dark, driving in the dark, going to work.
- 24:27Speaker 1: And then it's gonna be weird because everybody's used to
- 24:30Speaker 1: sleeping an extra hour and now you're not. So now
- 24:34Speaker 1: you're gonna be getting getting up at work at six
- 24:37Speaker 1: o'clockt It is gonna be pitch dark. It's to the
- 24:41Speaker 1: point where gas is gonna be so high that nobody's
- 24:43Speaker 1: gonna be able to get back and forth to work. So,
- 24:46Speaker 1: like I said, all this stuff is blowing up and
- 24:49Speaker 1: being exposed. And I tell people, if you sit back
- 24:53Speaker 1: and watch it versus not versus saying something, you'll see.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Everything is in front of you, and sometime God will
- 25:00Speaker 1: put things in front of you. Let it like job
- 25:02Speaker 1: and show you so many things, and you're like Wow,
- 25:07Speaker 1: You're like wow. But that's how you become the person
- 25:12Speaker 1: that you want to be. But it's not easy though,
- 25:17Speaker 1: you know, because you're going against society standards. When you
- 25:21Speaker 1: do that, you're going against the norm. So when it
- 25:26Speaker 1: comes down to jobs, I'm not saying you shouldn't have
- 25:31Speaker 1: a job, not saying that at all. In no way,
- 25:33Speaker 1: shape or form or fashion should I say you shouldn't
- 25:36Speaker 1: get experienced. You should, but you should always be able
- 25:43Speaker 1: to say, but then, Okay, I've been working for ten years,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I've been working for twenty years. It's time to, you know,
- 25:51Speaker 1: build something on my own. And if you have the
- 25:55Speaker 1: ability to build something of your own and the creativity,
- 25:58Speaker 1: then I say go for it. I I say go
- 26:02Speaker 1: for it. Do what you feel works for you and
- 26:05Speaker 1: what's gonna make you happy and whatever it is that
- 26:08Speaker 1: you're going to do. But healing and recovery financially is
- 26:14Speaker 1: basically you being tired of the rugbying pulled from up
- 26:18Speaker 1: under you. You go to work every day, you do
- 26:20Speaker 1: your job every day, you do everything that you're supposed
- 26:22Speaker 1: to do every day, and yet in still you're being
- 26:26Speaker 1: let go for no reason. So and then turn around
- 26:31Speaker 1: they put the applications right back out again instead of
- 26:36Speaker 1: going for the people that they fired. So, like I said,
- 26:40Speaker 1: my mind right now, if rejection wise, I'm just like, okay,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I'm not arguing, I'm not doing nothing. It's just mkay,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I ain't meant to be there. And with jobs is
- 26:52Speaker 1: not that simple because you can't decide whether you should
- 26:55Speaker 1: be there or not. Because they hire you, that means
- 26:58Speaker 1: they see something in you. The problem is is that
- 27:02Speaker 1: you know, nowadays, they don't train the way they used to.
- 27:06Speaker 1: They you know, the managers are not training you as
- 27:09Speaker 1: far as them shot them sh you're shadowing them. You're
- 27:12Speaker 1: shadowing another person and they still have to do production.
- 27:16Speaker 1: How you have another employee training and they still have
- 27:19Speaker 1: to meet production. That's crazy, that's insane. But that is
- 27:25Speaker 1: the That's pretty much what's going on right now in
- 27:28Speaker 1: all honesty. So, like I said, you know, once you
- 27:33Speaker 1: build something, you know it's not gonna be easy. It's
- 27:38Speaker 1: gonna take a lot to figure it out at first.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And then once you figure it out, then it's how
- 27:44Speaker 1: you wanna go about building it. It's gonna be a
- 27:47Speaker 1: lot of tries, it's gonna be a lot of ups,
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be a lot of downs. And some people
- 27:51Speaker 1: buy businesses that are already pretty much owned. And the
- 27:55Speaker 1: crazy part about it is they buy your business will
- 27:58Speaker 1: still want you to work for them. No, you bought it,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm not working for it. I'm gonna create something new.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Cause if I still have to work for you and
- 28:10Speaker 1: you bought my company, then what was the point of
- 28:13Speaker 1: me selling it, especially if it's doing well. No, people
- 28:16Speaker 1: don't never think to ask themselves that question because you're
- 28:20Speaker 1: still gonna be working for their company. You're not equal
- 28:23Speaker 1: with that company, even though that is your business. You
- 28:26Speaker 1: are not equal with them. This is why. This is
- 28:28Speaker 1: how you get stakeholders. You get stakeholders because they're the
- 28:32Speaker 1: ones that bought into the company. But the problem is
- 28:36Speaker 1: is that you decided to do that. So I understand.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So I'm not surprised by you know, a lot of
- 28:53Speaker 1: things nowadays, but through my own healing and recovery financially,
- 28:57Speaker 1: when it came to losing my job, when it came
- 29:00Speaker 1: to the rug being pulled from up under me, I said,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I don't want the rug pulled from up under me,
- 29:06Speaker 1: cause at the end of the day, when you leave
- 29:08Speaker 1: this earth, not a bit more of any of this
- 29:11Speaker 1: is going with you and it's not, and putting yourself
- 29:16Speaker 1: in debt is gonna get passed down to your kids
- 29:19Speaker 1: because what happens is is that you know, even if
- 29:25Speaker 1: you don't have an a state for your parents, they're
- 29:29Speaker 1: going to try to figure out some way to get money.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I that's why in the will and Testament you should
- 29:36Speaker 1: always put you do not want your children or anyone
- 29:40Speaker 1: else to be responsible for your bills, because if you
- 29:44Speaker 1: have that in writing, they cannot go after your children.
- 29:48Speaker 1: They can't. So, being that my father is no longer
- 29:52Speaker 1: here in everything, we have to calculate how much his
- 29:59Speaker 1: bills are and then figure out how much money to
- 30:02Speaker 1: leave in there to make sure his stuff is paid off.
- 30:06Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, you would think
- 30:08Speaker 1: that they would just say, you know what, being that
- 30:11Speaker 1: he's gone, that we're just gonna take it off. As
- 30:15Speaker 1: somebody who's done medical billing and coding, if they want
- 30:18Speaker 1: to write something off, they can, especially if that person
- 30:22Speaker 1: is gone, especially if that person does not have in
- 30:25Speaker 1: a state. Who are you going to put this on?
- 30:29Speaker 1: Cause I remember that Piedmont Gas tried to do that
- 30:32Speaker 1: to me. When it came to the gas they tried
- 30:34Speaker 1: to make it seem like that. Basically, essentially, I was
- 30:38Speaker 1: gonna have to pay a bill that I was not
- 30:40Speaker 1: responsible for for my father, and I told him no,
- 30:43Speaker 1: cause I hadn't been living here in years. I sent
- 30:45Speaker 1: my rent, I sent my electric bill, I showed everything
- 30:48Speaker 1: that I had not been living in the state of
- 30:50Speaker 1: North Carolina for almost about six years, and so they
- 30:55Speaker 1: were kind of shocked by that, and I said, well,
- 30:58Speaker 1: I've been here since twenty twenty two, so no mm mm. So,
- 31:08Speaker 1: like I said, some things people are gonna try to do,
- 31:13Speaker 1: but you need to make sure your family members have
- 31:16Speaker 1: especially your parents will and testaments. Trust. They need to
- 31:20Speaker 1: manisure they have this stuff because if they don't have
- 31:23Speaker 1: it and then turn around and something happens to them,
- 31:29Speaker 1: now it's who basically gets what. Then you gonna have
- 31:32Speaker 1: a bunch of family members fighting over stuff. Thank God
- 31:35Speaker 1: for us, we don't have that issue because me and
- 31:37Speaker 1: my sister are not doing that, but still we have
- 31:41Speaker 1: other family members on my father's side that are. So
- 31:46Speaker 1: just make sure you have your ducks in order. But
- 31:49Speaker 1: like I said, all of this ain't nothing but an
- 31:52Speaker 1: illusion and the the delusion, and it just is not
- 31:54Speaker 1: even real everything there is, society standards has been nothing
- 31:58Speaker 1: but bs since the very beginning, and I've seen it
- 32:02Speaker 1: and I'm just like, I don't want nothing to do
- 32:04Speaker 1: with it. All this you being in a relationship, but
- 32:08Speaker 1: yet divorce rate is so high, having children, and yet
- 32:12Speaker 1: you know, the abuse rate is so high. Man it
- 32:16Speaker 1: it's just a lot of it just ain't worth it
- 32:18Speaker 1: at this point, and it's not. And I'm not mad
- 32:21Speaker 1: at gen Z for coming to that realization. I'm not
- 32:24Speaker 1: trying to be married, I'm not trying to have kids.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm I'm focusing on me. I'm I'm just trying to survive.
- 32:31Speaker 1: We can't even get houses cause everything is so expensive.
- 32:34Speaker 1: What is the point of all of this? They're questioning everything.
- 32:38Speaker 1: But that's because they have social media. That's why they
- 32:42Speaker 1: have something that gen xers and baby boomers didn't have,
- 32:44Speaker 1: and that's social media. If it wasn't for social media,
- 32:48Speaker 1: baby boomers, i mean not baby boomers, gen Z would
- 32:52Speaker 1: probably still be doing the same thing that Gen X
- 32:55Speaker 1: and millennials did. They would have been working and not
- 32:58Speaker 1: realizing what's going on. But because of social media, they
- 33:04Speaker 1: have information that my generation probably would have never had.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But the problem is is that social media also is
- 33:12Speaker 1: keeping people stagnant. It's keeping people from doing things that
- 33:16Speaker 1: they need to do because people are on their phones constantly.
- 33:19Speaker 1: People are on their phones when they're in the car,
- 33:22Speaker 1: They're texting, they're they're doing all these things while they're
- 33:25Speaker 1: in the car instead of just listening to music and
- 33:29Speaker 1: just driving. You know, you're on your phone instead of
- 33:34Speaker 1: you know, doing something, and me is having I'm trying
- 33:37Speaker 1: to break but I'm just being, you know, completely transparent.
- 33:44Speaker 1: So like I said, you know, we have to let
- 33:48Speaker 1: go of the illusions and delusions and seeing things for
- 33:51Speaker 1: what they are in order to make the right decisions
- 33:54Speaker 1: and then researching and validating and verifying and then critical
- 33:59Speaker 1: thinking comments, sense in common judgment, morals, values, principles, and ethics,
- 34:03Speaker 1: weighing the pros and cons knowledge, intellect, and education, but
- 34:07Speaker 1: most importantly consequence, because its Carl, that's the most important thing.
- 34:12Speaker 1: So you know, in the end, you have to maintain
- 34:18Speaker 1: this new version of you, and that's by seeing the truth,
- 34:21Speaker 1: not the lies, not the deception, but the truth of everything.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Because when you become this new person, you need to
- 34:28Speaker 1: learn to mind your own business, focus on yourself, stop
- 34:31Speaker 1: worrying about everybody else. Don't let nobody you know, mess
- 34:35Speaker 1: with your self esteem, self worth, and self value, your
- 34:38Speaker 1: self respect. You believe in yourself and nobody else does.
- 34:41Speaker 1: And your confidence in yourself that should not be based
- 34:44Speaker 1: on anything else but you. And just because everything looks
- 34:47Speaker 1: good for one person doesn't mean it looks good for
- 34:49Speaker 1: everybody else. Don't let the left hand know what the
- 34:52Speaker 1: right hand does. Read the four to eight Laws of Power.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Read educate yourself, spend time with the high power. Read
- 35:00Speaker 1: spiritual books. Learn how to maneuver in this world into
- 35:06Speaker 1: doing the right thing, but also understanding what happens when
- 35:09Speaker 1: you do something bad. That's all I can say about that,
- 35:14Speaker 1: because there's no time. What's going on and ain't I'm
- 35:17Speaker 1: telling what may or may not happen that you need
- 35:21Speaker 1: to deal with. But right now, finding your way back
- 35:24Speaker 1: to you, finding your way back to yourself, finding your
- 35:27Speaker 1: way back to what you wanna do, finding your way
- 35:29Speaker 1: to your purpose, your path, your journey, finding your way
- 35:33Speaker 1: back to your self, esteing your self worth and self value,
- 35:36Speaker 1: your self, love of yourself, your self confidence of yourself
- 35:40Speaker 1: has nothing to do with anybody else. It's got everything
- 35:44Speaker 1: to do with you. Your success depends on you and
- 35:50Speaker 1: who you choose to help walk with you on this journey.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Not everybody's meant to be there, but you'll have the
- 35:59Speaker 1: people that are send you to help. So that's the
- 36:13Speaker 1: way I look at that. So with that being said,
- 36:16Speaker 1: I just didn't want to tick up most of your
- 36:18Speaker 1: time today is Friday. But yeah, I mean at the
- 36:22Speaker 1: end of the day, minding your own business. Don't worry
- 36:26Speaker 1: about anybody else right now but yourself. Put yourself as
- 36:31Speaker 1: a priority. Do not lower yourself to build other people up.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Build yourself, and then you assist people. You guide people
- 36:41Speaker 1: in helping them. Do not let you assisting and guiding
- 36:46Speaker 1: people destroy you and a lot of people. That is
- 36:52Speaker 1: what they're doing. They're allowing people to destroy them while
- 36:56Speaker 1: they're lowering themselves. They're being captain, saving hose, build a bit,
- 37:00Speaker 1: bill dolls, seat fillers, and people pleasers. They're in this
- 37:04Speaker 1: delusion and illusion that this person cares about you, when
- 37:08Speaker 1: in all actuality they don't. You think these jobs really
- 37:12Speaker 1: care about you when in all actuality they don't. So
- 37:17Speaker 1: in the end, building something that is of your own
- 37:20Speaker 1: that is not what they want us to do. They
- 37:23Speaker 1: want us to continue to work for these companies, continue
- 37:26Speaker 1: to kill ourselves to the point where of exhaustion to
- 37:31Speaker 1: stress levels and jobs is outrageous. So I mean, at
- 37:35Speaker 1: the end of the day, I'm all for if you
- 37:38Speaker 1: work for a good company that gives you that work
- 37:41Speaker 1: life balance, then I say go for it. But if
- 37:43Speaker 1: they don't, that's not the way you need to be.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And sometimes you don't need to be nowhere, You don't
- 37:51Speaker 1: need to be nowhere near in those environments, and that's
- 37:54Speaker 1: completely understandable. So I just want to make sure don't
- 38:01Speaker 1: clean on everything. But like I said, everybody got battles
- 38:07Speaker 1: that they got to fight. But the last thing you
- 38:09Speaker 1: need is the people who you think you can trust,
- 38:12Speaker 1: the people who you think care about you, the people
- 38:14Speaker 1: you think that love you being the people that are
- 38:17Speaker 1: actually your enemy. And I have a conversation today with
- 38:22Speaker 1: two people today for a pre conversation, and then I
- 38:26Speaker 1: have another podcast that I have to post for Monday
- 38:32Speaker 1: and then one for next week. But I do have
- 38:36Speaker 1: all of the pre conversations posted, so I will be
- 38:41Speaker 1: reaching out to everybody for the post conversations as far
- 38:45Speaker 1: as the post conversations that I have not done yet.
- 38:49Speaker 1: But sometimes you need time for you and for me.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I take that. If I feel like that I need
- 38:58Speaker 1: time to grieve my father, I will take the time
- 39:01Speaker 1: to do that. If I feel like I don't feel well,
- 39:03Speaker 1: I need to lay down, I will take the time
- 39:05Speaker 1: to do that. But when I get better, I will
- 39:10Speaker 1: get up because my body needed a break. You don't
- 39:15Speaker 1: realize what you do to your body when you're overworking
- 39:17Speaker 1: yourself because you want to be successful, and don't get
- 39:20Speaker 1: me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that, but don't work
- 39:24Speaker 1: yourself to the point where you gonna end up did
- 39:26Speaker 1: because you overwork yourself, you overstress yourself, and you overdid it.
- 39:31Speaker 1: You don't want to do that. So I just want
- 39:33Speaker 1: people to understand that I get it. I understand that
- 39:39Speaker 1: hard work and dedication, yes, that is important, but not
- 39:43Speaker 1: when you are stressing yourself out to the point of illness.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Every choice, every decision, every action and behavior is basically
- 39:55Speaker 1: that's consequences we because it's in karma and does. So
- 39:59Speaker 1: I just want people to understand that either you can
- 40:01Speaker 1: do what you love or do what you hate, but
- 40:04Speaker 1: that's something you need to decide. But the new version
- 40:06Speaker 1: of you cannot continue going through the same thing. So
- 40:10Speaker 1: for example, you'll come out of one hurdle, one situation,
- 40:15Speaker 1: and then end up in another one and then another one,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and you can't understand why this is happening, because sometimes
- 40:22Speaker 1: it is meant for you to be alone. Some journeys
- 40:25Speaker 1: are not meant for everybody else. Sometimes it's meant for
- 40:29Speaker 1: you to start on your own, and then as you're
- 40:32Speaker 1: doing it, you will meet great people. And it's just
- 40:36Speaker 1: like for me when I went after a sex coach,
- 40:39Speaker 1: I lost my job, and I remember when they told
- 40:43Speaker 1: me that I had got fired, and it wasn't because
- 40:47Speaker 1: I did anything wrong. It was all because I showed
- 40:51Speaker 1: up my badge by accident, and I'm like, what haf
- 40:56Speaker 1: my badge got to do with anything. I've never said
- 40:59Speaker 1: anything bad about this company, never did anything when it
- 41:03Speaker 1: came to this company, But I lost my job and
- 41:08Speaker 1: I've had jobs since then, but it's been the same thing.
- 41:13Speaker 1: After work is done, then you're out of a job.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Because I work for temporary services, uh, you know, for
- 41:19Speaker 1: a few years. And so the last person I did
- 41:22Speaker 1: an interview with, I told her, honestly, I'm tired of
- 41:24Speaker 1: dealing with jobs where there's no stability, and what I
- 41:31Speaker 1: mean by that is I'm constantly being moved from one
- 41:34Speaker 1: place to another. And so she said, yeah, you may
- 41:38Speaker 1: be doing different accounts for a different client, but you're
- 41:43Speaker 1: not gonna lose your job because it's a permanent position. So,
- 41:47Speaker 1: like I said, are they really giving us the option
- 41:51Speaker 1: to retire? And like I said, I can go on
- 41:53Speaker 1: and on and on and on and on, because I
- 41:56Speaker 1: have a lot of questions when it comes to retirement,
- 41:59Speaker 1: because the way that people are laying people off I'm
- 42:02Speaker 1: starting to think is intentional. I'm starting to think it's
- 42:06Speaker 1: because either that person is too good at their job
- 42:09Speaker 1: or they're being laid off because they don't want them
- 42:11Speaker 1: to get their pension of the retirement. I think intentionally
- 42:15Speaker 1: some jobs, and I think this is just being real.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I think they want it where people can't retire. They
- 42:23Speaker 1: want it where people are not gonna be able to
- 42:25Speaker 1: work for twenty years at a job. They're intentionally doing
- 42:28Speaker 1: things to alienate people, especially good workers. And then what's
- 42:32Speaker 1: crazy is you're doing two or three jobs and not
- 42:35Speaker 1: getting paid for it. So it's a lot to really consider.
- 42:39Speaker 1: To be honest, it really is. It's a lot as
- 42:44Speaker 1: far as seeing things for what they are and like
- 42:47Speaker 1: I said, as somebody who's experienced it, this is why
- 42:52Speaker 1: now people don't want to work for nobody no more.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Why people want to be on social media and basically
- 42:57Speaker 1: work for themselves. Why people want to be a to
- 43:00Speaker 1: say what they want to because a lot of people
- 43:01Speaker 1: never have voices. So social media has been a place
- 43:06Speaker 1: for a lot of people to not only help others,
- 43:10Speaker 1: but also to go viral to get into the industry. So,
- 43:16Speaker 1: like I said, people are finding their own ways of networking,
- 43:20Speaker 1: their own ways of finding what it is meant for them,
- 43:26Speaker 1: and so things are changing. The problem is a lot
- 43:28Speaker 1: of baby boomers can accept the fact of change. A
- 43:32Speaker 1: lot of racist people can't accept the fact of change. So,
- 43:35Speaker 1: like I said, between diversity, division, discrimination and racism has
- 43:40Speaker 1: a lot to do with what's going on right now,
- 43:42Speaker 1: and I'm not really gonna touch on all of that,
- 43:44Speaker 1: but still that's also something we have to accept. So
- 43:50Speaker 1: what I will say is when they come to healing
- 43:52Speaker 1: and recovering, as far as you minding your own business,
- 43:56Speaker 1: that's exactly what it means, because if you not healthy,
- 44:00Speaker 1: your business will not be healthy. If you got all
- 44:04Speaker 1: this stuff going on because what you went through then
- 44:07Speaker 1: the other people that are working for you gonna notice
- 44:11Speaker 1: and they gonna think something wrong. So, like I said,
- 44:15Speaker 1: these journeys are never easy, and they're not. But that's
- 44:21Speaker 1: the whole point of minding your own business. And stop
- 44:24Speaker 1: going into these illusions and delusions because you not doing
- 44:28Speaker 1: nothing but setting yourself short. You ain't doing nothing but
- 44:31Speaker 1: being bamboozled, let us straight, lied to, manipulated and all
- 44:34Speaker 1: these other things. And it's not worth it cause now
- 44:38Speaker 1: it's about maintaining what you have. You can't just give
- 44:42Speaker 1: something away anymore. You need to maintain it cause you
- 44:45Speaker 1: don't never know if you gonna need it for a
- 44:47Speaker 1: rainy day. Don't give away something that you can't or
- 44:51Speaker 1: that you actually need. So that being said, I thank
- 44:54Speaker 1: you guys for joining me for this episode. O Goddess
- 44:57Speaker 1: Asha Maryama and until next time, well's out later by bye,
