  [SPEAKER_00]: Some big injury news on both sides, really, in my opinion, and none of it really comes as a surprise for the most part.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So starting on the Jaguar side, you had Jarian Jones was not present at practice today, which of course was a big scare for everyone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to talk about it too much because it was just an illness, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So on the illness front, that's usually like a one-day absence and then the next day you see guys back and so we'll monitor it certainly but wouldn't be too concerned.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not as if Jarian Jones has an injury that he's dealing with that's going to potentially limit his ability to play on some day and, you know, if Jarian was going to miss any time or was questionable or anything like that, that would be, you know, that would be

  [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty bleak considering you've already lost Jordan Lewis at Nickel.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Drawing Jones plays Nickel and outside at corner and you're going to get into Josh Allen in the bills.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that would be a scare, but it seems like that's going to be a situation that is overall not too concerning, but obviously, rest up, get better.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Drawing, get back out on the field because he's been a dynamic piece to the Jacksonville Jack Wars, a secondary.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 100 is a vital part of their whole operation on the defensive side of the ball, especially as of late.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, Cole van Lannon, that's the one really to watch, and we're just rolling through the did not participate players who's dealing with a knee injury, and he missed a lot of training camp with a knee injury.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if this is a re-aggravation, what it was, but he was in the game late against the Titans.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Sit your entire offensive line because you don't have 10 offensive linemen dressed right You only have five starters probably three backups that are dressed for a game So I get that you can't get every offensive linemen out of there, but COVID and landing probably one of those top two to three offensive linemen that You cannot afford to loose.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that if I had to make a guess on this, which obviously it is just a guess, I think that this is precautionary.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine Cole Van Lannan will play against the bills as long as the knee is showing everything that it needs to over the next couple days, getting into Thursday, I'm Friday practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Certainly, Kovian land and he's solidified the position at left tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Once Walker little had a concussion, Kovian land and slid over to left tackle had been playing left guard, right guard, right tackle, slid over to left tackle has, has not relinquished that job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The guy got signed to a big contract by the Jacksonville Jaguar's just last week, end of last week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Goes out there, plays longer than he probably should,

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's tough, that's a tough deal right there, and you really hope that he can play, and that it's not something that's going to be anything long-term and hold him out, anything like that, but COVID and Lannon is a critical piece to the Jaguars offensive line and to the Jaguars whole operation.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you can't play, I think obviously you look at Walker Little, playing Left Tackle, Patrick McCary did return to practice for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, you could see just like the original starting five out there, potentially for the Jaguars, depending on COVID-19 and availability.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If he's not available, you can see Walker little at left tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You can see Walker little slide back over to left tackle and Patrick McCarrick, get back in there at right guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've also got YMILM, you've got Tumoridoga, you've got some other options.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You want to see Cole Van Lannon out there, no question about it, and do the bills have the most potent past-brush ever, Ed Rushers?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they've got some decent guys, Joey Bosa, Greg Russo, they've got some depth beyond them, but like, it seems like a game that Walker little could survive, but you've also seen Walker little get beat by some less than stellar competition, so you really do want Cole Van Lannon out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, looking at the bills, they've got a longer list of DNPs did not participate on Wednesday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Matt Milano, he was out with an illness, so that one is kind of like the Jarian Jones one, not going to think about it too much.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, to Robert Nard did not participate with a calf, I know a lot of bills, folks that cover the team, follow the team, would rather not have him out there anyways.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's a player that I've seen make a lot of place throughout his career, but apparently not having the best time right now in coverage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maxwell Harrison, the rookie cornerback out of Kentucky, ankle injury, did not participate.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's been widely speculated, and Sean McDermott kind of talked about it, probably not going to play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, we were talking about trying to run stride for stride with Brian Thomas Jr. would it help to have one of the fastest cornerbacks to ever enter the NFL?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Probably, but you do have Christian Benford on the outside.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You obviously have Tray White who not as fast as Harrison right now, but experienced playing good football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a loss for them for sure if Harrison can't play, but I don't want Jack's fans to automatically assume that that means floodgates are open on the outside, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Ty Johnson, running back, cup of tea in Jacksonville, really explosive back, ankle injury, but he's kind of their third back, so they've got James Cook and Ray Davis.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Josh Palmer, ankle injury and other player kind of like Bernard where there's some depth that landbacker, there's some depth that wide receiver, I don't think that they have like the top end talent you're looking for at wide receiver, I do really

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really like Cleo Schkeer's game and they're tied in the game, like Dawson Knox is a good player and I think Dawson Concaid can be a great receiver, he was limited again with the knee injury by the way, he's been limited a lot lately, but Josh Palmer, do they really need him out there?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I know a lot of folk were excited about him joining the bills this off season, but it hasn't really quite been this stellar performance that you were hoping for for Josh Palmer.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's another one that I don't think is a really big deal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Matt Prater with the Quad did not participate in practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've got like three different guys are looking out right now, including one of whom being Matthew Wright, Jaguar's legend, Matthew Wright.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's gone around and done some decent things in the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He just doesn't have the biggest leg and that can be difficult to stick around as a team starting kicker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the big ones really, in my opinion, are the two biggest injuries are COVID-19 and Maxwell Hirsten.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You also have Jordan Phillips was placed on IR today, and he's a big defensive tackle for the bills who not like a player who's playing 60, 70% of the snaps.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's playing 30, 40% of the snaps a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's certainly a loss for them as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you're the bills and Walker little's out there, you're trying to attack that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you're the Jaguar as Max Hariston, if he's not able to play, which it doesn't look like he's able to play, and then you have tray white, maybe you're trying to cover Brian Thomas Jr. on the outside.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously they do have good high quality safety is in Jordan, poor air, cold bishop, and then Taran Johnson as well at nickel.
