Latest / Health with Hashimoto’s - Thyroid or Immune Education for Autoimmune Thyroid Disease / Activate GLP-1 Naturally [Bonus Hashimoto’s Health Lab] Interview with Jenny Crane
Transcript
- 0:00Hey, welcome to the Health with Hashimoto's podcast. Back in episode 116,
- 0:04I interviewed an expert, Jenny Crane, about the MindBody GLP-1 system.
- 0:10I had just been doing a series about GLP-1 and wanted to introduce you as a
- 0:16listener to this incredible system that simplifies everything that I talked
- 0:20about in that series of how you can increase your own GLP-1 without turning
- 0:27to the pharmaceuticals,
- 0:28which have more risks than benefits.
- 0:31So I just updated that file. So if you go back and listen to all of the podcasts
- 0:37in sequential order, the new 116 is going to be this updated version.
- 0:42But if you're listening in real time, and you don't go back,
- 0:45you're not going to hear that update.
- 0:46So I have it here for you so that you can hear the updates and listen to Jenny
- 0:52Crane introduce the MindBody GLP-1 system and all of the benefits that she has
- 0:58seen as she has helped so many people use it.
- 1:00Enjoy the interview. Hey, welcome back to another episode of Health with Hashimoto's.
- 1:04I am so happy to bring a guest to you today.
- 1:07So over the past couple episodes or in the past, we talked about GLP-1.
- 1:12We've talked a lot about it. We talked about what it is, how to activate your
- 1:17own, what kind of foods to do, what the benefits are, what the benefits versus
- 1:22risks are of the pharmaceuticals.
- 1:24And today I have a guest. Her name is Jenny Crane, and she is going to tell
- 1:28us about a system that activates your own GLP-1 production and does it naturally.
- 1:35So let me tell you a little bit about Jenny. She is a wife to Nick, who is a private chef.
- 1:41They live in California. You still live in California, right?
- 1:45Yeah all right she dropped
- 1:48out of college to pursue life as an entrepreneur she has
- 1:51worked in the reality realtor mortgage industry and now does network marketing
- 1:58because of her passion for health and wellness and helping other people succeed
- 2:03and grow so jenny thank you so much for being here and tell us a little bit more about your story
- 2:10Yeah, thanks for having me. I appreciate you, Esther. And I really appreciate what you're doing.
- 2:15I think so many people out there are struggling with autoimmune and Hashimoto's.
- 2:19So I just I love your podcast and I love the information that you provide. So thank you.
- 2:23So yeah, I have I dove into the wellness world.
- 2:26You know, my son was vaccine injured 17 years ago.
- 2:29So that was kind of my awakening to, you know, the body, the human body and
- 2:34just the power of the human body when you give it what it needs.
- 2:37And so even though it was a really big struggle at that time,
- 2:40it was kind of my awakening moment to the wellness world.
- 2:43And I know many people who are listening probably have their awakening moment.
- 2:48But over the last, you know, 17 years, I've really made a commitment to educate
- 2:52myself to understand the power of the human body.
- 2:56And so that led me obviously to the
- 2:59LifeVantage products knowing about biohacking and the
- 3:02difference between supplementation versus activation and just
- 3:05really why these are so set apart and so
- 3:08that's how I came into the LifeVantage you know family
- 3:11I've been sharing these products now for over a decade and I tell people all
- 3:15the time if I could download my brain in tears as to what I've seen these products
- 3:18do you tell everybody you know and love and I know Esther you kind of feel the
- 3:21same way so that's kind of how I came into that world and over time I've just
- 3:26been able to help people in their journeys.
- 3:29My mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer five years ago.
- 3:33And that was just kind of another level of awakening and just education for myself.
- 3:39She decided to go the integrative route. And gosh, I was there,
- 3:42you know, just as her advocate, knowing that, you know, her body had the power
- 3:46to heal with the right tools.
- 3:48And so that was just another level and just brought me to a new understanding.
- 3:52And I feel like sometimes our biggest challenge is teach us what we need to
- 3:55know for the next step in our lives.
- 3:57And so I'm just so thankful that I've been on this journey, getting to know
- 4:00people like yourself and a lot of the integrative doctors and practitioners
- 4:04that have become my dear friends.
- 4:06I just love learning and I love to teach. And I think it's that's where it starts
- 4:10all the change. So thanks for having me. That's kind of the short version of my story.
- 4:14But yeah, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Is she doing well now?
- 4:18Incredible. Yeah, she did two months of integrative treatments and was cancer-free
- 4:25in two months. So it's amazing.
- 4:28And she's just, you know, radically changed her health, changed what she was
- 4:32putting in her body, made the LifeVantage products, obviously,
- 4:36the core foundation of what she was doing on top of her diet and nutrition and
- 4:39detox protocols and all the things, you know, that we should be doing every day.
- 4:43So she's healthier than she's ever been because of those changes that she made.
- 4:46And she always says, too, like her challenge with being diagnosed with triple
- 4:50negative was her biggest blessing because it took her down a path of true wellness
- 4:54and healing, and she's living her best life. So it's pretty cool to see transformation there.
- 5:00That is very, very good. Good. I'm so happy for her and for you guys.
- 5:04Thank you. Yeah. So you mentioned there's a difference between supplementation and activation.
- 5:10And then also we're talking about GLP-1, so pharmaceuticals.
- 5:14Before we talk specifically about the MindBody GLP-1 system,
- 5:18do you want to tell the listeners just about those three categories,
- 5:22supplementation, activation, and pharmaceutical?
- 5:25Yeah, absolutely. Well, you know, when I stumbled upon the concept that,
- 5:29you know, obviously our body at the root can heal itself.
- 5:32A part of the problem with our allopathic medicine world is that they,
- 5:35you know, we get sick and all we want is to go to the doctor and they give us
- 5:38a pill to mask the symptoms.
- 5:40Well, the same thing kind of happens in the supplementation world.
- 5:43A lot of people don't know that over-supplementing can cause more damage than it actually does good.
- 5:48If supplements were the answer for everything, everybody would be 100% healthy doing all the things.
- 5:53But at the end of the day, we have to look at our DNA, right?
- 5:57Our body's ability to not only absorb and to be able to utilize the things that we're intaking.
- 6:03But a lot of that comes down to cellular health. And when I found the LifeVantage
- 6:08products, and I understood that these products at a cellular level biohack our body,
- 6:13actually go in and turn on our own body's own ability to heal itself at a cellular
- 6:19level, I was blown away and it made sense, you know.
- 6:22So that's kind of a little bit of the difference between activation versus supplementation.
- 6:26I feel like with supplementation, we're just guessing, okay,
- 6:29like doing, you know, and a lot of the times, integrative practitioners don't
- 6:33even know the right tests to run.
- 6:34So they're just kind of throwing darts at a wall, hoping they'll stick.
- 6:37But with activation, with protandim NRF2, protandim NRF1, and NAD,
- 6:42you're looking at supporting the body at the cellular level and activating the
- 6:48body's own biological pathways and functions to really perform optimally so
- 6:53that everything we do on top of that will just function better.
- 6:57And that's kind of the difference there. And then, of course,
- 6:59I did touch a little bit on the pharmaceutical side.
- 7:01I'm not saying that at times medications are not needed.
- 7:05In certain time and place, they are absolutely needed. But the problem is that
- 7:09we've walked away from, we've just become dependent on those pharmaceuticals.
- 7:13And then you're looking at all the side effects.
- 7:15And really, at the end of the day, it just becomes a mass for the problem, right?
- 7:19The symptom, it's not really getting to the root cause of why is the body reacting this way?
- 7:24And so really, I think it's important for people to educate themselves and understand
- 7:28before they just go to the doctor because they want the quick fix,
- 7:31they should look at it in a different way.
- 7:33And that's what I love about what we're doing here at LifeVantage and our biohacking
- 7:37products. It's really supporting the body's processes.
- 7:40So yeah, it absolutely is.
- 7:43Yes, I have a flow chart when somebody asks, what should I be taking?
- 7:47Because I'm a nerd. So flow chart is just how my brain thinks.
- 7:50But at the foundation is sleep, hydration, and stress.
- 7:54But then as far as like things to take, my number one is the activators is the
- 7:59protanum NRF2 and NRF1, especially if somebody is dealing with autoimmune,
- 8:04because turning on those antioxidant factories in your body and turning on the
- 8:09energy producing parts of your cell, that is key.
- 8:13If you want health, you have to have healthy working cells.
- 8:16So I love that you're talking about that. All right. So tell us a little bit
- 8:21about the MindBody GLP-1 system and how it differs from prescription GLP-1.
- 8:28Absolutely. Well, same concept with the MindBody GLP-1 system is you're looking
- 8:33at supporting the body to produce its own GLP-1 hormone.
- 8:38So a lot of these pharmaceuticals and these injections are, you know,
- 8:42kind of like the same concept of going to get a medication to mask a symptom, right?
- 8:46So it's not really working with the body's processes.
- 8:50And a lot of the times that's why people are having these side effects, you know, the vomiting.
- 8:55If they are able to take the, you know, the injections, then they're noticing
- 9:00that their body's muscle mass is being degraded and just a lot of things.
- 9:04And it's not a long-term, you know, benefit to the body.
- 9:08So over long term, if you're looking at taking these injections,
- 9:10how long can you actually stay on these?
- 9:13Now, a lot of people that I know that have been on these for six months,
- 9:16even a year, have tried to get off, and they gain back more weight than they even had on before.
- 9:21So when you're looking at the pharmaceutical, that's kind of the difference
- 9:25with our mind-body activation product.
- 9:27It's working with the body to turn on its own natural production of the GLP-1 hormone.
- 9:33And that is where the magic happens. That is the difference between activating
- 9:36your body to do the work or supplementing with the injection.
- 9:41So when a lot of people hear GLP-1, they immediately think weight loss.
- 9:47What kind of results have you seen with the mind-body GLP-1?
- 9:51Because I know even from personal experience, weight loss is,
- 9:55I mean, I did, honestly, I hopped on the scale at the beginning and end of six
- 10:00months, but that's not why I started.
- 10:02I started for a slew of other reasons. I did lose weight, but it wasn't my goal.
- 10:07And my biggest thing for myself is my migraines, which used to come every single month with my period.
- 10:15Like three to five days of level seven, you know, throwing up with pain,
- 10:20like migraines, and they're gone or like maybe up to a two.
- 10:25So that is what I experienced. So I know a lot of people, yes,
- 10:29weight loss is what they hear.
- 10:30But what kind of other things and weight loss have you seen?
- 10:33Yeah, well, I think it's important to understand what the GLP-1 hormone in the body actually does.
- 10:38You know, it's responsible for controlling those cravings. And it's also responsible
- 10:42for regulating hormone responses and managing cortisol levels.
- 10:47So it's more than just weight loss is obviously a side effect that people experience
- 10:52once this GLP-1 hormone is introduced into the body or the body's own GLP-1
- 10:57hormone starts working better.
- 10:58But it's important to understand how this hormone affects everything from our
- 11:03internal organs to our brain to our gut.
- 11:06It's really something that resides in the gut. Our GLP-1 hormone is pretty much
- 11:11produced and made in the gut.
- 11:12So as a lot of people, as you know, you teach about autoimmune,
- 11:16gut health is really not there.
- 11:19You know, optimal gut health for most of the population does not exist.
- 11:22So because of, you know, the toxins in our environment. So when you start activating
- 11:27this GLP-1 hormone, sometimes there can be a balancing period.
- 11:30And that's not a bad thing.
- 11:32So people are used to hearing, well, I'm just going to take a GLP-1 injection
- 11:35and I'm going to lose weight overnight. Some people do.
- 11:38But again, look at the long-term results of that. But really what it's doing
- 11:42over time is it's helping heal and repair these processes in the body.
- 11:46And so understanding that looking at scalable victories and non-scalable victories
- 11:51are so massive and so important because it is helping at the cellular level
- 11:55with our gut health and it's helping, you know, regulate our hormones.
- 11:59And you know, us midlife women, that becomes over time, we start having hormone issues.
- 12:04So this is really a benefit, not only the weight loss being a side effect,
- 12:09some people it can take some time to lose weight, and they have to be able to
- 12:13give this product the applicable amount of time to work.
- 12:17So sometimes when I call a balancing period, some people can actually gain a
- 12:22little bit before they start to lose.
- 12:23Because when you're activating a hormone that's not used to being produced in
- 12:27the body, it's almost like when you start working out at the gym, right?
- 12:31Sometimes you can gain weight before you lose weight. You get sore before you
- 12:35get fit and healthy and strong.
- 12:37So people need to give this the applicable amount of time. And then,
- 12:40of course, you have the people that do lose the 20 pounds in,
- 12:42you know, eight weeks. And that's great, but it's so important to understand
- 12:46why this product, you may want to take it long term and not just focus on the scale.
- 12:51And like you said, you know, I've seen so many different results with this product.
- 12:56For you, I mean, migraines, that's
- 12:57incredible. I've seen it also help with sleep and energy production.
- 13:02And also one of the big things that people notice, too, is not having those
- 13:06crazy cravings like at night.
- 13:08You know, when your cortisol level spikes and drops and all those crazy things
- 13:11that it does when you have those cravings.
- 13:13And so the product all around is phenomenal.
- 13:16What I love about the Enhanced Powder is that it's actually giving you a full
- 13:20nutritional panel as well.
- 13:21So you're getting those nutrients and it's activating that
- 13:24hormone at the same time to help with those nutrient
- 13:27deficiencies which a lot of people have nutrient deficiencies like
- 13:30goes back to supplementing right versus activating because our body's not able
- 13:35to absorb these nutrients in the gut and so that's why it's so important to
- 13:39utilize like that's why we say our stack is protandim nrf2 and the glp1 use
- 13:44those two products together because they support the body not only at a cellular level,
- 13:48but from the gut as well as much more.
- 13:51So I hope I didn't just ramble, but I probably did anyway.
- 13:54That was great. It's a lot of information, I'm sure.
- 13:57It is. I forgot to have you tell us, what is the MindBody GLB-1?
- 14:01You mentioned the Enhance, but we forgot to talk about what it is.
- 14:05Yeah. So the system is a two-part system, and we have the MindBody Core and the MindBody Enhance.
- 14:11So the core is the, it's a two capsules in the morning you take it 30 minutes
- 14:16before you eat or drink anything obviously you're going to take it with water
- 14:19but before you even have your coffee if you drink coffee in the morning you're
- 14:22taking the core capsules and then the enhanced powder is anywhere you can start
- 14:26anywhere between two to four scoops
- 14:28And I like to put it in my protein shake. It's important to,
- 14:32I think it's important to take the enhanced powder with protein,
- 14:35but it's a powder basically that you use.
- 14:37So you use those two parts together, those two systems together,
- 14:41products is what I meant to say.
- 14:43And a lot of people who listen to this podcast will be on thyroid medications,
- 14:46which you have to take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and then
- 14:51wait between 30 and 60 minutes before eating.
- 14:55So how does the MB-Core correlate or how do you take it with Synthroid or Levothyroxine or something?
- 15:02You can take it in the morning with your thyroid med. You don't have to do it
- 15:05separate. So we've seen that it's been totally fine to do that.
- 15:09Awesome. That sure makes it easier. Yes, absolutely.
- 15:12Well, especially since you're used to having to take those medications by themselves anyway.
- 15:17I think a lot of people that don't have to do that, they struggle with getting
- 15:19up and taking it 30 minutes before they eat anything. But it is important to
- 15:23have that time period. So I think it's perfect.
- 15:26Yeah, I keep mine on my bedside stand because by the time I have,
- 15:29you know, gone from bed where I sit up and I take my stuff.
- 15:33And then by the time I got all the way downstairs, it's been 30 minutes.
- 15:37Oh, yeah, absolutely. It's good to remember that. I actually keep it by my bed, too.
- 15:43I mean, let's make life easy and not have to rely on our memory.
- 15:47Just work it into the routine.
- 15:49Right. Well, that's what I love about these products is you're able to kind
- 15:52of, you know, reduce what you're having to take to get the better and superior
- 15:56results. And that's what I think.
- 15:58It's just simple to utilize these products and then not have to take,
- 16:01you know, the 10, 20 other supplements that you probably normally think you
- 16:05have to take to get the result. So it's pretty incredible.
- 16:08Yeah. So you mentioned doing the MindBody GLP-1 and the Protandim NRF-2.
- 16:14Why would somebody want to combine those two?
- 16:18Those two, well, if you go to look at any of LifeVantage's stacks,
- 16:22Protandim NRF-2 is one of those products. It's our foundational product.
- 16:27It was developed over 40 years of research. There's 28 peer-reviewed studies on it.
- 16:31And it's proven to reduce oxidative stress in the body and support inflammation,
- 16:36reduce cellular inflammation.
- 16:38So anytime you can reduce inflammation, plus add a product like the mind-body
- 16:43together, you're just going to get those increased results and those benefits.
- 16:47Because when you put out inflammation in the body, the body can do the work, right?
- 16:51So the body is the miracle. So that's why I feel like it's super important to
- 16:54take these two products together and just introduce Protandim NRF2.
- 16:59I tell people online, there was one product on the entire planet,
- 17:04and trust me, I've researched everything, that if I only could choose one product,
- 17:08it would be Protandim NRF2.
- 17:09And it's so foundational and any time that you stack it with all of any of our
- 17:14other products, you're just going to see those increased results and long-term
- 17:17sustainability of those results.
- 17:19That's the problem in the weight loss world, I believe,
- 17:22is that people are just used to, you know, losing the weight,
- 17:25gaining it back, and not having those sustainable results.
- 17:28What I love about these products is that it really supports that sustainability
- 17:32and keeps you with those results long-term because of what the products are
- 17:35doing at a cellular level.
- 17:37Right. So you mentioned staying on them long-term and then also giving them enough time to work.
- 17:44If somebody is considering using, starting on the healthy weight stack,
- 17:48which is the protanum plus the mind body, how would you or how long would you say to start with?
- 17:54I would say minimum of three months. I would say don't even get on it if you're
- 17:58not willing to give it a three-month commitment.
- 18:00But I think, you know, six months is probably where you should go with it.
- 18:04Even if you, you know, achieve your weight goal, if that's what you're looking
- 18:08to do with the mind body system, I think that this product does so much more
- 18:12than just help with that weight loss.
- 18:14It does, you know, we kind of covered that already, but I feel like it's a long-term,
- 18:19you know, product that you could introduce in your everyday that would benefit
- 18:23you in so many different ways.
- 18:25Yes, absolutely. And it's delicious that MindBody Enhance.
- 18:29When I run out, I miss it for breakfast. It just, it's delicious.
- 18:33True story. Yeah, I know. Even my kids like the flavor of it and that's,
- 18:37you know, it's a pretty big deal. It is, yes.
- 18:40My 15-year-old is like, I want that one. It's good.
- 18:44Yeah, I think kids, it's, you know, important too. I mean, people think,
- 18:47well, why would you give a kid a GLP-1 product?
- 18:49But like I said, when kids are young and if their bodies are healthy,
- 18:54their GLP-1 hormone is working properly.
- 18:57But, you know, a lot of the times our kids don't have the gut health that our
- 19:01grandfathers, that our grandparents had because of our diets and,
- 19:05you know, all the things that they're eating.
- 19:06I think it's just a foundational product that even kids can take.
- 19:09If they don't want to do the core, they could just introduce the Enhanced Powder
- 19:12separately, and that would be something of benefit to them for sure.
- 19:15Yeah. Yeah. That's why I started my teenager on it. He's dealing with acne.
- 19:20So of course, we know there's hormones and there's gut issues because all of
- 19:23those are reflected in the skin.
- 19:25So I was like, let's start you on the MindBody Enhanced to help with the gut
- 19:30health and see if that changes your acne because it's impacting your hormones and your gut.
- 19:36What have you found with that? What results have you seen?
- 19:39He's still in school right now. So his diet, like we try, you know, when he's at home.
- 19:45But I heard from one of my other kids that he has a filing cabinet at school
- 19:50because they have a large desk. He's like, yeah, that's where I keep my pop.
- 19:54And in Minnesota, pop is soda. So he goes to the grocery store in the town where
- 19:59his school is and he buys bottles or whatever.
- 20:03It's all about balance. It's so exciting. It is.
- 20:06With my son, he suffered with chronic migraines for years because of his vaccine
- 20:10injury when he was young.
- 20:11And then having a leaky gut because of all the antibiotics from his ear infections.
- 20:15It's just like kind of that cascade effect.
- 20:17And when he went away to college, he stopped taking his vitality stack and the
- 20:21collagen, the activated collagen, his migraines came back with a vengeance.
- 20:24He had to learn on his own.
- 20:26And so now he's pretty good about taking it because he's like,
- 20:28Mom, you're right. You know, so sometimes they have to go through that process
- 20:31to learn for themselves.
- 20:33And then they'll appreciate that their moms, you know, teach them about health
- 20:36when they're probably older. They probably don't do it, but, you know.
- 20:40We can do all we can, but they have to learn it on their own. Yes, it's so true.
- 20:46Yes. All right. So with the mind-body system, what is a realistic expectation
- 20:51for weight loss if somebody has Hashimoto's?
- 20:54So they've already got, you know, a slower metabolism. They've probably gained a lot of weight.
- 20:59And of course, as we gain weight, our GLP-1 production goes even lower.
- 21:03So they're starting from this, from like the starting line, but it's not the
- 21:07starting line. They're like way behind the starting line.
- 21:10What would be a good expectation for them? I would just say,
- 21:13you know, give it a good six months if I'm being real, because your body takes time to repair, right?
- 21:17So that's kind of, and it's all about thinking about things differently.
- 21:21I think changing our mindset with our health, because that's kind of what we've
- 21:25been programmed to think with allopathic medicine is like, we'll just get a
- 21:28quick fix overnight. Right.
- 21:30Allow yourself to go through the process of, you know, staying on these products
- 21:34long term, even if it's not the GLP-1.
- 21:37I think the foundational products of what and also obviously are activated collagen,
- 21:42but taking our protanum product line and then committing to that with the GLP-1
- 21:47product, you know, giving it three to six months minimum.
- 21:50And then also, Esther, one of the things that we do need to discuss is committing
- 21:55to make small changes with working out and weightlifting and lifting weights
- 22:00and eating an applicable amount of protein.
- 22:02Like we are nutrient deficient, right? Most of us. We are not getting enough protein.
- 22:07We're starving ourselves because they're not getting enough nutrients.
- 22:10So there are changes that need to be made alongside taking the activated GLP-1 exercise.
- 22:15And then committing to that process while you're doing this.
- 22:19You know, if you're committing to the process, go all the way.
- 22:22Because really, like what you said at the core, getting out and moving,
- 22:26reducing stress, improving your diet, all of these things are so important.
- 22:31You're not going to just take a GLP-1 product of any kind.
- 22:34Even our activated GLP-1, continue with the negative habits and expect to have long-term results.
- 22:38That's just not how it works. So committing to the process of doing the things
- 22:42alongside of the GLP-1 and then giving yourself the time and being patient with
- 22:46your body and its response, I think, is super important.
- 22:50Yeah. Yeah. So you mentioned protein. What would somebody need as a general rule?
- 22:56If you say increased protein, what would you recommend for them to eat?
- 23:00I think, well, I mean, I personally do about 100 grams of protein a day.
- 23:06And so I try to mix that up in the morning. I do a protein shake because it's
- 23:09really easy to get that protein in the morning in a shake.
- 23:13And then, you know, I'm always eating protein. You know, every two hours I eat protein.
- 23:18So it just depends. Sometimes I don't get 100 grams, 120 grams of protein.
- 23:23But I just try to be cognizant of the fact that protein is really so important
- 23:27in balancing cortisol levels.
- 23:29And you know as we age it's so
- 23:31important to to be caught you know be conscious of
- 23:34of your protein intake and then being consistent
- 23:38with that not allowing your body to go in starvation mode because when it does
- 23:41that then it's trying to overcompensate and that's really kind of where hormone
- 23:46dysfunction comes in is you're actually starving yourselves you know it's true
- 23:50yeah yeah your body does not want that no freaks out yeah and keep snacks healthy
- 23:56snacks you know beef sticks,
- 23:58whatever it might be that you can snack on if you're not near a place where
- 24:02you can get protein you know keep healthy snacks in place that you can like
- 24:06snack throughout the day to give yourself that protein intake.
- 24:10Be perfect. Yeah. That is one thing that I was not prepared for when I started
- 24:15on the mind-body system because prior to it, I could just ignore my hunger cues.
- 24:21I had a very unhealthy, like there was a broken connection. My brain and my gut just disconnected.
- 24:27And so having that connection, all of a sudden, I was aware when I was hungry
- 24:32and I was not cool with it.
- 24:34I was like, what is this year. I have to eat.
- 24:38The more you eat, you know, it's kind of like an intuitive response to like,
- 24:42I feel like the more you eat, and this is what women especially will come to
- 24:47find out, is that when you're eating an increased amount of protein consistently
- 24:51throughout the day, you're going to find out that you actually lose weight,
- 24:54even though you're eating more.
- 24:56And I think a lot of women say, well, I stopped eating. I'm eating half the
- 25:00calories. You know, I'm reducing my calorie count.
- 25:03And I feel like that's just the lie we've been told.
- 25:05That we have to basically starve ourselves to lose weight.
- 25:09No, we have to balance our hormones. And by doing that, you know,
- 25:13by eating, increasing, and giving our body what it's craving and it needs to
- 25:17function, that's when you're going to notice the weight loss is when you're
- 25:20increasing that protein intake.
- 25:22And working out, getting out and moving every single day, whether it's walking.
- 25:26I'm a big proponent of lifting weights because it's part of building that muscle
- 25:31is pretty much the best thing we could do for anti-aging at an internal level.
- 25:35Is getting out there, you know, stressing our body in a good way to produce that muscle mass.
- 25:41Because as we age, you know, muscle, we lose muscle and bone density as we age.
- 25:45So it's super important to make that part of your daily routine,
- 25:49you know, if not three to five times a week.
- 25:51Yes, I struggle with that part. I know, it's hard. Well, it's all about creating new habits.
- 25:56And, you know, a little bit at a time, I think it's so important. Yes, for sure.
- 26:02All right so if somebody's starting
- 26:05with this are there any mind shift mindset
- 26:09shifts that they should take before starting it i think just shifting your mindset
- 26:16just around your weight if you're one of those that has never been able to lose
- 26:20weight you maybe you've struggled since you were young shifting your mindset
- 26:24and starting from you know being negative about your body start loving your body.
- 26:29And, you know, I feel like talking positive to yourself is huge.
- 26:33Having that positive self-talk, just changing the way that you view who you
- 26:37are, because at the end of.
- 26:40Important and blessed and our bodies are our temples and we need to start honoring
- 26:45them instead of, you know,
- 26:46being pissed off at them all the time, is what I could say, you know,
- 26:50and then, you know, being patient with yourself and understanding that small,
- 26:54it's the consistency that's more important, making those small changes over
- 26:57time, rather than just one day ripping off the band-aid and going to the gym
- 27:01every day and getting overwhelmed and burnt out, is just making habits a part of your daily routine.
- 27:06So, and then of course, you know, being positive with yourself and understanding
- 27:11that you'd start loving the body that God puts you in because we're here and
- 27:14we're alive and we should be blessed with that, so. Yes, absolutely.
- 27:18So Jenny, you've worked with a lot of women and men who are using this and I
- 27:23know that you've seen a lot of stories.
- 27:26Do you wanna share a couple like internal, external, emotional,
- 27:30what kind of transformation stories can you share with us?
- 27:33Well, I mean, we've seen, we just did a mind-body weight loss challenge.
- 27:37Actually, the whole company did. And wow, we have seen radical results with the weight loss.
- 27:41You know, some people have lost 20 pounds in three months. It's crazy.
- 27:45So obviously those are some of the external benefits.
- 27:48But we've noticed, I've seen people with skin issues like chronic psoriasis
- 27:54and eczema totally clear up on this product.
- 27:57People that have had gut issues their whole life, healing their guts,
- 28:00able to eat things that they're not, you know, normally able to eat.
- 28:03And then a big one is sleep.
- 28:06So many people come back and report increased benefits in sleeping,
- 28:10sleeping deeper at night on this product.
- 28:13And so I feel like those non-scalable victories are just as exciting as the
- 28:17scalable victories with the weight loss.
- 28:19And then also, of course, the cravings. I've heard a good friend of mine actually
- 28:23struggled her whole life with wanting to get into the refrigerator at bedtime
- 28:27and eat sugar and ice cream and all the things.
- 28:29And she's like, oh, my gosh, this is the first time that I'm not craving that.
- 28:32And I actually feel like I can say no and walk away.
- 28:36From the refrigerator. Or she says, now I've taken your advice and I eat protein
- 28:40before I go to bed. I don't eat sugar or ice cream, you know.
- 28:43So it's really cool to hear both sides of the, you know, stories of scalable
- 28:49and non-scalable victories for sure. That's incredible. Thank you.
- 28:53Yeah. So Jenny, if there is one thing that somebody could remember from our
- 28:59conversation today, what would that one thing be?
- 29:02Yeah, I would just encourage you to invest in your health more than anything
- 29:07and educating yourself.
- 29:09I would continue obviously connecting with your podcast because you get such great information.
- 29:13But just taking time to make it a daily thing to learn something new about your health.
- 29:19There's so many great podcasts out there and people
- 29:22that are you know kind of taking a different stance to health and
- 29:25understanding that what we put in
- 29:28our bodies matters how we view
- 29:31our health and understanding that you know sometimes the traditional medical
- 29:35system is not going to give you hope but there's always hope our bodies are
- 29:38truly miracles and so you know just understand that you have the power to take
- 29:45back your health and it starts with you and and committing to the process.
- 29:49And so that would be my biggest piece of advice. Which is great advice.
- 29:53Thank you. Thank you for being here and for sharing with us.
