- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Marco Trap Souls Podcast.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: I'm here with Future Ghost Paranormal.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Where are you two from?
- 0:05SPEAKER_02: Um, hi, I'm Rochelle.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: I'm from Pittsburgh, PA, living in Pittsburgh, originally from Johnstown, PA, and San Francisco, California.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: And I'm Tiffany.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: I'm from Johnstown.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: I'm living in Wimber, Pennsylvania right now.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: And me and Rochelle met in Johnstown.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: How many members do you have on your team then?
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: Um, we have about seven solid members.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: And um shout out to Tiffany and I are the co-founders of the team.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: And then um, we just wanted kind of some like-minded people that we would call our best friends to join.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: So we've been able to find this amazing group of people.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Um we have Jess Nath, she's on our team.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: Tiffany's daughter Lexi is on our team.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Um, we also have Carly Fliegel, she's on our team.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: Shout out to Carly, and we have Laurel Foy is on our team.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: We have who else we have Tiffany?
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: We have Riley, Carly's daughter.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Carly's daughter, Riley, and we have um Shelly that comes is like a we call floaters, and Tiffany's um boyfriend Jason.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: So they they don't get to come as often, but they just kind of pop in when we need some spots and and they get to enjoy um all the investigating with us.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: So you guys are mainly just all in Pennsylvania then.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but where we're from, it's it's so close to Ohio, to you in Ohio, it's close to West Virginia.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: So we are able to kind of get around decently, and those places are still kind of considered local to us.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: So yeah, like we go ahead.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Oh you took a trip to Michigan and I have family out there, and they were able to join us for some investigations, which was really cool.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, that's always fun when you get to bring family.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: We love to take first timers and you know, take people to get the experience.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: So, out there, what's your go-to place?
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: I think all the local places that we we all the local places we try to go to all the time just because it's convenient.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: So, our closest place is probably Hillview Manor in Newcastle, PA.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: We go there frequently.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Um, we are also very close to the Bel Air House, so we go there frequently.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, there I know, so dark.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: We like the Ross House too.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: The Ross House is close, yeah.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: We do that.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I'm assuming you guys done the antique store next to the Ross House, then.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh-huh.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: It's it's usually pr pretty quiet for us versus the house, yeah.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: For us, but I mean stuff has happened in there, but I think the house is really where the bulk of the activity is for us.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I've been there twice, and it's vice versa for me.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Okay, but it seems like a lot of women get more activity in the house compared to the antique store.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: And maybe you know, maybe something's a little that probably makes sense with us.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: We have mostly women, you know.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was gonna ask you that.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Is it all women or just mostly women?
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, our team is women, but we'll let men come sometimes.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: Depends on how we're feeling.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's funny though, how you know, like you you feel empowered being this girl group of women going to these scary places, and and you see these men commenting and being like, Oh, I don't I can never do that, or why do you do that?
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: or and then it you I feel like you do get very different activity than what you would get being a guy, and some of the locations we go to, the men get very different activity than the women.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: So I agree.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: You know, as a group of women, do you feel that energy is amped up?
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think it's location-based.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know, like you girls just like to have fun, and I that think that's what brings yeah, we do it a lot.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that reminds me of two things.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: First of all, have you been to Old Stone Jail?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I have not.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: I highly recommend going there, but we were in the dungeon, and we had the Phasma box running.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: We're big fans of the Phasma box, and we kept asking all these questions, and it was answering some of them, and you know, we were like rapid firing, like, what's your name?
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: What'd you do to be here?
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: How old are you?
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: And it came through saying calling us something on the box that I will probably spell for you just because I don't like the word.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: But what it called us was so funny that we were like, Man, we need to change our team name.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: But it it called us C-U-N-T-S with questions.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: I don't think see you next Tuesday.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Paranormal is a good uh group name, but but we had questions.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: See you next Tuesday with questions.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: I feel like any prison though, any prison is all always like bad words or being derogatory or you know, grabbing you or anything.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Um when we were at West Virginia Penitentiary, one of our team members, Laurel, we were standing right outside of Red Snyder's cell, and we were doing an EVP burst.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: So we were um kind of like hunched over, listening to a recorder, and there was bats that night.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: So she had her hoodie up on her head, but it was kind of dangling back like a cape.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: And she had her back into the cell, and something yanked her whole sweatshirt right off of her head onto the floor, and I'll never forget her eyes, just like she freaked out.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: She's like, My sweater, my sweatshirt, where's my sweatshirt?
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: And her eyes were so big, but it it's funny how I do think being women, you just I don't know, you experience prisons differently and certain places.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: I do agree with you that it just I don't know, it could amp it up or um just make it different.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: We talk about it all the time on the show, like women.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think the spirits we're talking to, like 1800s, early 1900s, like women were looked down upon then, you know, if you weren't looked as equal.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: So when you go into these places like Mansfield or Madison Seminary or the prisons, or even the poor houses, Fairfield, that yeah, you know, they're not looking at you as equal, the men aren't.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And we get that at the Ross House through the spirit box.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And when we do S's, we get two women talking to us all the time.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Then about 20 minutes into it, a man comes in and just shuts them out.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: It's weird.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we always have had those spirits coming through on the boxes that kind of get to pick and choose who's coming through at the time, and we're always like, hey, let other people talk for a second, and you don't get to control that.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, talk about guys like Nacho just said something up there, but we go in there all macho, you know, like oh, we're gonna go get ghosts, and you girls are probably going in there like, oh, dance off, let's go.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Like speaking of, tell that story, Tiffany.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: That was my second thing I was gonna say.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: That was West Virginia, right?
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was Hillview.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Or Hillview at Hillview.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Um, we were in the boiler room, and we literally it was the end like last place we were stopping for the night.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: We were all getting tired, you know, and it turned into a dance party.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: And and the EMF reader, which you don't commonly see, like spike, you know, sometimes we don't even get it out anymore, but yeah, when but when it's stationary, you rarely see it spike, and it was literally like grooving with us, it was so funny.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: So we were in the boiler room, and there's a spirit Eli in there, so reportedly.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: I always say reportedly because you know you go into these locations and they have all this information on who's there, and it's like, well, we don't know for sure if it is, but reportedly Eli is a spirit there, and history does show that he was at the poor farm, it used to be a poor farm, and he alcohol was not allowed there, so he would leave, sneak out, get drunk, and he would come back through the outside entrance into the boiler room, and he would sleep off his drunkenness for the the next day.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: And the one day he came back, he couldn't get in, and he ended up passing out in the snow and froze to death.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: And they did kind of pull his body into the boiler room, but um, the the rumor is that he likes women down there and he likes music.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: So we were at Hillview with Zach and Alone in the Dark Paranormal.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Shout out, Zach! And um we decided all of us girls will go to the boiler room, and Zach and the boys went to the second floor.
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: So when we were down there, um, all of our phones were on airplane mode.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: We were just playing downloaded music, it wasn't going off um prior to that.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: And then as soon as we started playing the music, it was like on it like the beat of the song, and we played all fast, fun music, and they were watching us on the cameras the whole time because you can see the cameras for the whole building in the office, and we're down there dancing and singing to try to get this activity to pick up, and it did.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, it was adding boiler to all the songs, making up our own lyrics.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you just have to have fun at an investigation because we've noticed that when certain investigations we try so hard, we try so hard to see something, we try really hard to make everything everything perfect so that we can see stuff.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: And I feel like in those moments where we're just having fun in between setting up, that's when we really see, hear, experience things.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: Um, so you just have to have fun sometimes.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Yes, and what Zach said, the Hill Root crew, they were just watching this the whole time.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: And I do notice, like, the more I want to feel or see something, it never comes like ever.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And it's always when I let my guard down, and the best stuff happens at the end of the night.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: They were human beings at one time, they like to have fun too.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So I think bringing that aspect brings them out.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: I think so too.
- 11:27SPEAKER_02: And I mean, even just playing music, music is you know, it's through every generation, and even if it's not music that you're used to, you can still enjoy it.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I do wonder going into some of these locations where you get the tours, you get the historical information.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: I do wonder how much of it is fully accurate because um talking about Old Stone Jail in um Evansburg, Pennsylvania, very, very cool place, very active for us.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Um, but we actually had a unique opportunity to go investigate there with some of the current employees of Cambria County Jail in Evansburg.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: And when we were there, one of the um people that were there was a corrections officer in that jail when it was fully functioning, and he was able to tell us some stories about specific inmates, what things were like there prior to what it looks like now, um, kind of how things would operate.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: And so he told us a story about an inmate.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: And I actually have a video to post this on our uh Facebook page, but um, he told us a story about Buddy, the inmate, and he ended up hanging himself.
- 12:54SPEAKER_02: He had a uh cell on the fourth floor, and he was just kind of like a troublemaker, like very defiant, didn't want to do things the right way, and so he did hang himself, and the the coroner didn't come pick up his body for a while, so the officers they had to bring his body down in the cell, and he was just up there for I think a few hours, and this was in the eight nineties, maybe.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: So, until the coroner came to get his body, every every inmate in the prison was singing the my buddy song, the doll from the 80s.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: My buddy, my buddy, and um yeah, so he told us that story.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: We started investigating, we had the phasma box running up there in that same exact spot in the fourth floor, and we were just listening, and all of a sudden, it this phasma box said, That's my buddy, and it took a second for my brain to even comprehend what it was saying, and then I was like, It said my buddy, and it was so cool because we have been there twice prior, and we got the usual information.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: We were trying to talk to Smitty and all this stuff, but to hear that information and it came through all night, my buddy asking to play the buddy song.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: We kept playing it over and over again all night, because I think acknowledging that accurate, true information, the historical documentation, um, just it opened up that place that night, opened it up completely.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: And so I think it's important going into those locations.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: Not only is the history the super cool part of paranormal investigating, but I mean, you have to look for that historical accuracies.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, definitely.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, Nacho knows I'm a huge into like I always say, you know, what's the one thing you're more scared of than death?
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: That's being forgotten, right?
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: No one wants to be forgotten when they're gone.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: And so the memories is why I do this, trying to keep memories alive, I guess you want to call it.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: I think the paranormal world is all about intention, more so than anything else that we do.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Um, I think the afterlife is all about intention.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: Um, I've done a lot of reading on near-death experiences in the afterlife, and communication in the afterlife is not talking, it's mostly through intention and speaking to somebody, like you're not talking to them verbally, but what you want to say is basically in their mind.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: And so I think I'm a firm believer that where we go, you put out the intention that you're gonna be able to communicate with people.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: You put out the intention that's gonna be an active night, and you put out the intention for the positive and negative experiences that you get in these locations.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: So I believe that the spirits can take forms of the intentions that are put out in these locations.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: Some of these places that have multiple people going to investigate just every weekend, you know, if they're constantly calling for a spirit named Sarah, the intentions out there that something is gonna take form of a Sarah just because that's how they can get the attention.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I guess.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Um, I was gonna answer Deborah or not Deborah um Alme.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: Um hi Alme.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Hi.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: When you go to a location, do you have some team members that research the place and others that go in blind?
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: We definitely do.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: I know Laurel used to be our like historian and she would research everything.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: I personally like to go in blind and then learn the history after because I feel like when you're investigating, just like Sarah, if you hear there's a Sarah, then you hear Sarah in the spirit box because you know it's not always clear what's coming through.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: So I like to go in blind or and with like maybe a few stories on the tour, you know, just to hear a little bit.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: And then we like to compare things that happened to what other people have experienced after the fact.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: At the Crescent Sanatorium, for example.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: You want to tell that story, Rochelle?
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, sure.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: Is that is that the one with the um the mimic?
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: So um Crescent Sanitarium, we had uh uh private, and we did all of the old sanitarium buildings, and they were they were cool, they were creepy, but the jails, the jail areas were where we really got a lot of our activity, and so we were in, I think it was building E, but I might be wrong, and we were just like setting up equipment, we investigated probably for a good 45 minutes, and not much was happening.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: So we were starting to wrap up, starting to collect equipment, and we heard this noise almost like a beeping.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: So we thought it was one of our equipment that we forgot, or another team member forgot.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: So we're walking around the whole jail building trying to find where this noise is coming from, and it reminded me of like a smoke detector when the battery's dying, but it it didn't sound like a smoke detector.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: So we're finally walking, getting close to where the sound is.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: It was like up, we were up on the second floor stairs, about to be right where the sound was, and then all of a sudden, the sound, same sound, was on the total opposite end of the building.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: And so we were going all over this building.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: I I say we were like Scooby-Doo, you know, like Scooby-Doo, like walking when you tell the story, and we would like be right there where it was, and then it would jump and be like behind a door somewhere else in the building, this beeping.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: And no joke, we Scooby-Doo'd for 30 minutes trying to find this lost equipment, and every time we got up on it, it would jump somewhere else, and then it just stopped completely, and so we never found anything, any loose equipment in there.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: None of us were missing equipment, there was nothing else beeping the rest of the night.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: But afterwards, we had found out that people reportedly say that there's a mimic spirit there where it can mimic your voice, mimic music, mimic sounds.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: And so I was shocked when I heard that because if we would have heard that prior to going there, then we would have maybe thought you know something was up.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: But to be able to have that confirmed, yes, Deborah, Scooby-doing, we do that all the time.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: And to hear it after the fact that also cat and mouse chase.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: But to hear it after the fact kind of feels more real to me, like when you you go in knowing that that happened to somebody else and you hear a beep, maybe it was a fire alarm or whatever going dead.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: But because we chased that sound for so long and we realized it definitely wasn't, I feel like we wouldn't have even like moved around and even had that experience if we heard that story before we went there.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Do you think it's trying to get you to go somewhere?
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Or it's a trickster, it's what the rumor has it that there's like a trickster there.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: I think it didn't want us to leave because we were packing up getting ready to leave, and I think it kept doing that to get us to stay and look for it.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Sounds like a mimic.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, I had that at Bellar House.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Tell them about Ohio State Reformatory when your guard was down.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: So this is the best story.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: We tell it everywhere to everybody.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Do I have to stand up and like imitate it?
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: But I think so.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: You can do it in your chair.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: So we're on like a two-day stretch of investigations.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: We went to Eloise in Michigan, and then on our way home went to Ohio State.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: Highly recommend that trip, by the way.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: So fun.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: This was amazing.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: But of course, by day two of investigating, you're absolutely exhausted.
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: Um and Zach went with us too.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Zach met us there.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Um, but we spent all night investigating.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: You know, it was pretty cool.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: I can't really remember anything too significant before this happened.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: And we have, I think, maybe 45 minutes left, but we don't want to give up like that amount of time.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, we also don't want to like.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Go set an equipment up anywhere, like because it's not that much time.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: And that place is huge too.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: Huge.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: It's like a lot of exploring, too.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: So the one section is it like five floors of cells, I think.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's the cell block.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: There's five on one side and six on the other, I think.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: Maybe.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: And during the tour, they gave us some like little like challenges, I guess you would say, like different things you could try while you were there that other teams have tried.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: And one of them was to walk around up there with no equipment and no lights on and just like shadow watch.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Well, we just decided to walk around, and um, there were four of us, and Rochelle stood on the one side, and me and my daughter walked the entire way to the end of the other side, which it was it was a far walk, and it was me and Jess.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was my brilliant idea that we both split up on opposite ends of the cell block.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: And just kind of watch, like we were gonna kind of shadow watch or listen.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: Like we didn't remember the third story because you can see ambient light coming in from the window.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's right.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: I remember now onto the floor of that cell block.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so we get down there and we're only down there for like a few minutes before I start.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know, I'm like at this point, I'm so tired.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: I'm like, are my eyes playing tricks on me or what?
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: But it it looks like to me what I believed was Rochelle just kind of like dancing around.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Rochelle, what are you doing?
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: Are you down there dancing?
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: And she's like, No, and we're cracking up because we're meanwhile, we're so far apart, like a football field that we couldn't barely even hear each other.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: But I'm not I'm not thinking this.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm actually thinking that I'm seeing her.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: Then it looks like somebody's like hanging on the rafters, like above their head.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I keep looking at my daughter and we're laughing, and we're like, that's Rochelle.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: That has to be her.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Like, it has to be.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: And meanwhile, from our end, Jess and I were also seeing dark shadow movement kind of in the middle of the cells.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, it just it has to be you, and she's just cracking up, like we're almost done.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: And then, like, I kid you not, I've never seen anything so clear in my life.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: I see what looks like a blank face with long, long dark hair, just like peek out of a sail like this and beep their head back in.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: And I look at my daughter and I'm like, that was Rochelle, right?
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: And she's like, I think so.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Rochelle, and she's like, Yeah.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: And that's when I seen like a little red light.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I think it was on a camera or something, and I seen how far away it truly was.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: And I was like, There's no way that was Rochelle, it couldn't have been.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: And she's like, That's not Rochelle, we gotta go.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, guys, and they're like 10 minutes to figure out that they were screaming, like across, like that's how you know how far away we were.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: I'm like, guys, and Rochelle's like, Yeah, and I'm like, Can we come back now?
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: And we just start booking it.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: So at that point, they stand up and turn the flashlight on, and that's when I realize how far apart we were because it's seriously like a football field.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they I mean no way I could see them in the dark.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: So where I was seeing movement wasn't as far as they were, and I think where they were seeing movement was the same thing, it was like right somewhere in the middle, like but uh yeah, that I mean that was the coolest experience of my life, and it was definitely a person, and it was when you weren't trying hard, and it was when I gave up.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay, we're done investigating, we're just exploring at this point.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: Like, and I asked her five million questions.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: What did it look like?
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Was it see-through?
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Was it glowing?
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Was it eyes?
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: And Lexi said the eyes were this big, and I made eye contact with it.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: And I said, He had a really big forehead, he had a giant forehead, he had skin and a giant forehead.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: That's what she said.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: Because yeah, after I got spooked, like my words didn't even make sense at all.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Carly said I need to act it out.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: I I think with the background, it's too uh movie, like too.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: But it was like a hair flip, too.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: You said it was like this, and then a hair flip.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I could like see the hair like flip up.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Like it, I really thought it was Rochelle messing with me.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Do you think not having equipment helps sometimes?
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm a big believer in that because again, 181900s, we're bringing all this electronical stuff out, and they're like, What the hell's this?
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Or like, go touch the red light, and you know, but if you just go, you know, I always have my recorder on me, it's small, so yeah, you just go sit somewhere, and we do this at Trans Allegheny.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: We'll just sit in a hallway and listen and not really ask questions.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: A lot of shadow figures there.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: Do you think that helps?
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: I do think it does, and I actually would love to have an investigation where it's old school, like with no cameras, maybe just like a recorder, not much equipment, because I do feel like now that the paranormal world is so built up, there's so many gadgets, and we do we love it all, but um I do always think, and we've asked the spirits, hey, would you come out more?
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: Would you talk to us more if we turn the cameras off?
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: And their responses are always usually yes, like turn the cameras off.
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: And and I do feel like when the cameras are off, you get more.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: But I also feel like there's so many times where we've gotten such crazy cool activity with all of the equipment that it's like you're hesitant to do that because you want to get the activity on the equipment.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: But I do feel like um there's a lot of times where when stuff isn't spread out everywhere, you can focus your eyes more on seeing shadows and you can just focus more on being in the moment to see some things, hear some things, get to experience it, but not necessarily capture it on equipment.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: I've always wanted to do it, I haven't yet because you know you spend all this money on equipment, but you know, rent Madison out, take a few people there, no equipment, just your digital recorder and see the difference.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: You know, because I've been there 15 times, would it make a huge difference?
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: I think it would.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like not even bring your equipment to the place, keep it in your car.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Let's just go in there with recording on your phone and let's just go investigate old school-wise.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, I would love to do that.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: I think we should plan that, just do an old school investigation because back in the day they didn't have that stuff.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: So and you figure they're so used to communicating with people in like these high traffic places that they'd be finding a way to communicate if they felt like it.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: Um, Nacho said, What's the scariest experience you've ever have ever had?
- 29:05SPEAKER_02: And have you ever noped out of anywhere?
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: I don't think we have.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've nope noped out of like a section of the room, but not a location.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 29:18SPEAKER_02: Yes, I think we've noped out of certain areas, but not like noped out of the whole building.
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: Like it, I think anytime we nope, it's probably either where it feels very, very dark and heavy, or making us like physically ill or faint, or you know, or if there's like rapid fire footsteps that right up behind you.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: Bats, yes, Zach, bats.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, me and Zach um don't like bats.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I heard I heard his.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm the only one on my team that doesn't note because of bats.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Have you ever had an instance where you question yourself, like, why am I doing this?
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Um, when it's freezing, yeah.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, then I'm gonna myself.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: Maybe when it's like five in the morning and we're driving home an hour and a half.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: Even then, I'm usually pretty amped up though.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: Like from yeah, the adrenaline hits.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: Zach with Alone in the Dark Paranormal said, What's the most riveting EVP you've ever caught?
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Don't you guys have a competition?
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we just wait a minute, I brought it.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Did you win it this year?
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we just took the sweep.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: We got both MVE most valuable evidence award and kick-ass blooper award.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: Thanks to Zach.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: All thanks to Zach.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: He was the reason that we got the blooper award, but we have for anybody that doesn't know, every year we have a rap party with Future Ghosts Paranoid or with Alone in the Dark.
- 31:06SPEAKER_02: So Future Ghosts versus Alone in the Dark.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: And we basically bring all of our best evidence caught from 2025, and we compete against each other, showing the videos to see who has the most valuable evidence, and we vote on it.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: We have different voting categories.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Um, this year we also added a kick-ass blooper award, and because you just you catch funny moments sometimes.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: Don't ever forget, recorders are always running.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, this year we just had it last weekend at Zach and Tammy's house, and we also made paintings where we got thrift store paintings and painted ghosts in them.
- 31:52SPEAKER_02: Um, Zach and Bill, his team member, did a really cool tech example where he was showing us how to turn um SJ cams into night vision cameras and make REM pods.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: And so it was really, really nice to be able to have time aside from investigating, just to hang out with people.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm loving to see all of the collaborations going on between all the teams.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: Um, there's people in this watching in this chat right now that we've become super close with, and um that's what we want future ghosts to be all about is it being like a family and then having other teams to kind of partake in that and call family as well.
- 32:41SPEAKER_02: So, yes, we just did our rap party, go future ghosts, and um one of my favorite EVP stories was with Zach and Alone in the Dark in the basement of the Bel Air house.
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: So we were down there, and Zach usually does this event called Fam Friends and Family, and he brings his friends and family that maybe are interested in it but don't really have the opportunities.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: And so we were in the basement, and not a lot of people went down there that night just because some people aren't fans of basements.
- 33:23SPEAKER_02: I personally love basements everywhere we go.
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: So we're down there and um we had the Phasma box running, and very clearly it I do feel without a doubt that we were speaking with a soldier from the French and Indian War.
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: Um, I am native, so everywhere we go, um, where there's Native American activity or history, I we always do a ceremony, and I do feel being native that you can communicate on a whole nother level to other Native American spirits.
- 34:02SPEAKER_02: And I feel that anytime we go to these locations like Bel Air House, Ross House, Hinsdale, um, anywhere that has that native history, I feel like not only do we honor them and give them tobacco, but I just feel like it brings out a whole nother level of activity.
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: And so on the Phasma box, it had said, I'm I'm just a soldier.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: And um Zach asked if they were in the French and Indian War, and they said no, Zach, and then um, or they said yes, Zach, and then I had asked um if they're native, and it said no, Rochelle, like calling us by our names, which that's another thing is I feel like my name is mentioned everywhere we go, yeah.
- 34:53SPEAKER_02: But um right after that, I said, Did you die in service?
- 34:58SPEAKER_02: And two things happened.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: One, we got a response that was not on the box, it was an EVP, but it was a disembodied voice that we heard with our own ears, and immediately it said, Yes, as loud as us talking right now.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: And Zach and I both reacted because we knew what we heard, and it was there was only one other guy that would have said it, and we thought we like made sure, probably aggressively made sure by yelling, like, did you just talk?
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: Did you just speak?
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: Because we knew it was something, and simultaneously we heard the yes, I caught it on recorder, and then my Phasma box died, completely stopped working.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: Not just that, my tablet was completely fried.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: I had to buy a new one, it was completely fried, yeah.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: So uh that's probably my fate, one of my favorite EVP stories.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, so alone alone in the dark were on a month, two months ago.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, Zach told me there's no way you guys are gonna win anything.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: He was gonna take all the trophy.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't know, Zach.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, not enough.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: I believe it.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: He said it'll be clean sweet.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: I held on to the big guns, the heavy hitters.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: No, he did say he probably has some good stuff hidden away.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: That yeah, I did.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: We're like stealthy like that.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: We could keep keep it all year till we get to just like I can't remember what the score was, but we were pretty close.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: It was very close, very, very close.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Um, Zach also reminded me we caught this, it is actually probably my number one favorite EVP um at Waverly.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: Uh we were on the fifth floor, and this was actually with our previous team we were on.
- 37:05SPEAKER_02: We went down there.
- 37:06SPEAKER_02: It was the first time that Tiffany and I were both there.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: We've been back since, but um when we were there, um on the fifth floor, two there was four of us up there.
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: Two people went back to the gear room to get something, and so there was just me and one other person up there, and I caught the clearest EVP, the longest EVP.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: It was four sentences long, and it was a conversation between a man and a woman.
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: So you can hear the tone of the man, you can hear the tone of the woman.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: And when they talked, it almost sounded, you know, how sometimes EVPs sound robotic or like they're through a loudspeaker.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's how loud it was on the recorder, and it was it sounded like a nurse and a doctor talking, but the woman was like, I'll be right back.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: And the man said, Finish it, and she said, Give me something.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: And it for four sentences, it was it was crazy, it was insane.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: But do you remember what happened right before that?
- 38:16SPEAKER_01: No, we were getting up to clean up our equipment because there was no activity.
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, really?
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and everything started going off, right?
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like all the equipment started going off at once, yeah.
- 38:30SPEAKER_01: And then when we went back to play the recorder on our break, that's what we heard.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes, we did, so that was pretty crazy.
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: And I don't know why we played the recorder because we didn't hear anything with our ears.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: I think we just were doing it that night for some reason, like sitting in the break room, like listening.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: I don't know if we were like waiting for other teams or what we were doing, but yeah, we'll go back to collaboration.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, that was a big thing about six months ago, how no one likes to collab and blah blah blah.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: You know, everybody's complaining about something, you know, on Facebook.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: And I think you know, Braun Ghost Chasers and I not talking about it, but wanted to prove people wrong.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: And, you know, we do collab with a lot.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we have some good collabs coming up.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: Um, the unknown project asked us to go to Tala with them, Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: So we have been there before to investigate the main building, but this time they booked the outer medical buildings.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: So I'm really excited for that.
- 39:37SPEAKER_02: Uh, Zach is asking us the team trip we posted on Facebook.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: One, what interests us about that area of the US?
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: So in May this year, we our team is going to New Orleans.
- 39:52SPEAKER_02: We're so excited.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: What we did basically at the beginning of the year, we have our team filled out, fill out a Google form, just like asking what locations do you really want to do this year?
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: Do you want to do road trips?
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: Do you want to fly somewhere?
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: And so this is the first year where we're actually flying somewhere, but we chose, yes, we want to fly somewhere, and the options were Savannah or New Orleans or St.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: Augustine, which we want to go to all of them, but we chose New Orleans just because of the sheer amount of history that's there, haunted history, true crime, true crime, slavery history, the me, the music, uh, the people.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: So food, the food, definitely the food.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: We're definitely foodies on our show.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: So when we try when we do any type of traveling, this is the first time flying, but anytime we do a road trip, like we said before, we try to um well, usually we ask Zach and Tammy with Alone in the Dark, and they usually give us some good recommendations of places to eat.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: So we try to do like other locations.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Sometimes we try to do a couple investigations back to back, just because if we're gonna be in that area, we may as well try to get more than one.
- 41:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: But we go in Tiffany's van, it's a white van, and we call it the Ghost Mobile.
- 41:40SPEAKER_02: Yes, when we went to Waverly, we we stopped at Bucky's along the way.
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: That was an experience.
- 41:48SPEAKER_02: Uh, we had no clue what it was, and Zach's like, hey, we're stopping at Bucky's, and we're like, Okay.
- 41:55SPEAKER_02: We also, when we went to Waverly, we did Mammoth Caves National Park, which was really cool, and we stayed at a cabin there.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: Um, our team member Carly.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is a good one.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: This is the kind of stuff we do on our trips, but she was waiting for us because we were meeting up somewhere, and she met this couple, older couple, and they call themselves the Night Walkers, and they are a paranormal group, and they usually go hiking to these areas.
- 42:30SPEAKER_02: And I think they're big Bigfoot people, but they were like, Hey, we know this haunted place that was Floyd Collins cave entrance where he got stuck and died.
- 42:44SPEAKER_02: Would you like to walk with us to this location?
- 42:48SPEAKER_02: And we said, Yeah, yes, so we meet up with them, we're walking through the woods with people that were packing.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: It wasn't scary at all, and they weren't, it was fun, and so Carly calls us before that.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: She's like, Okay guys, I found somebody, they're gonna take us into the woods to the Floyd Collins.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: Like, literally, the moment she arrived, too.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: Like, it wasn't like you know.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: So, long story short, this couple was awesome, and we're walking in the woods at night.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Tiffany ends up with a tick from Kentucky, and then um wasn't the the one that makes you allergic to meat, thank God.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: So, you know, and so the Rocky Mountain spotted one or whatever.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so we get there and we learn this whole huge history that Floyd Collins was a cave explorer and he found he owned and found one of the entrances to Mammoth Caves, but he got stuck in there and died, but he was stuck for like many days.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I actually just recently decided to research that, and it's very interesting.
- 44:06SPEAKER_01: You should look it up.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, look up Floyd Collins if you can from Mammoth Caves, but um his house was there, and they actually left, pulled his body out and put it on display for a while.
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: It was a really sad story, and so we went there and explored it, and it was beautiful.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: And then coming back, they were doing some some owl calls, some bigfoot calls, and and but it was the it was a blast.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: So um just be aware that when you travel, you get to meet these people, and it turns into really fun opportunities.
