Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: In this episode, we're going to take a look at
• 0:07
Speaker 1: the indictment of Jeffrey Epstein from 2019. And if you recall,
• 0:13
Speaker 1: he was indicted by a grand jury and then the
• 0:16
Speaker 1: indictment was sealed. So let's take a dive into that
• 0:20
Speaker 1: sealed indictment and let's see what it contains. Sealed indictment,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: United States of America versus Jeffrey Epstein. Count 1. Sex
• 0:32
Speaker 1: Trafficking Conspiracy. The Grand Jury Charges. Overview. 1. As set
• 0:38
Speaker 1: forth herein, over the course of many years, Jeffrey Epstein,
• 0:42
Speaker 1: the defendant, sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls
• 0:46
Speaker 1: at his homes in Manhattan, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida,
• 0:50
Speaker 1: among other locations. 2. In particular, from at least in
• 0:56
Speaker 1: or about 2002 up to and including at least in
• 1:01
Speaker 1: or about 2005, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, enticed and recruited
• 1:07
Speaker 1: and caused to be enticed and recruited minor girls to
• 1:10
Speaker 1: visit his mansion in Manhattan, New York, the New York residence,
• 1:15
Speaker 1: and his estate in Palm Beach, Florida, the Palm Beach residence,
• 1:19
Speaker 1: to engage in sex acts with him, after which he
• 1:23
Speaker 1: would give the victims hundreds of dollars in cash. Moreover,
• 1:27
Speaker 1: And in order to maintain and increase his supply of victims,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Epstein also paid certain of his victims to recruit additional
• 1:34
Speaker 1: girls to be abused in a similar manner by Epstein.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: In this way, Epstein created a vast network of underage
• 1:43
Speaker 1: victims for him to sexually exploit in locations including New
• 1:47
Speaker 1: York and Palm Beach. 3. The victims described herein were
• 1:52
Speaker 1: as young as 14 years old at the time they
• 1:54
Speaker 1: were abused by Jeffrey Epstein. the defendant and were for
• 1:58
Speaker 1: various reasons, often particularly vulnerable to exploitation. Epstein intentionally sought
• 2:05
Speaker 1: out minors and knew that many of his victims were
• 2:08
Speaker 1: in fact under the age of 18, including because in
• 2:12
Speaker 1: some instances, minor victims expressly told him their age. And
• 2:17
Speaker 1: all this stuff that they're saying in the indictment here
• 2:20
Speaker 1: is all the stuff that we talk about on a
• 2:22
Speaker 1: regular basis. So like usual, I just want to make
• 2:25
Speaker 1: sure that we're providing some receipts on the podcast so
• 2:28
Speaker 1: that you have something to base your opinion on. Because
• 2:32
Speaker 1: anyone can make allegations. It's not what we know, it's
• 2:36
Speaker 1: what we can prove. And for me, that's always been
• 2:39
Speaker 1: the standard. If we can prove something, or at the
• 2:42
Speaker 1: very least, we have court documents saying that something occurred,
• 2:45
Speaker 1: then that's something that I find valid. But there is
• 2:48
Speaker 1: so much speculation, so much rampant rumor... that once you
• 2:52
Speaker 1: start diving into that stuff, it's an absolute black hole.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: So the blueprint for me has always been focus on
• 2:59
Speaker 1: the stuff that is out here in the front, what
• 3:01
Speaker 1: I like to call the hard facts, and then work
• 3:03
Speaker 1: back from there. Number four, in creating and maintaining this
• 3:07
Speaker 1: network of minor victims in multiple states to sexually abuse
• 3:12
Speaker 1: and exploit, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, worked and conspired with others,
• 3:17
Speaker 1: where are these others, including employees and associates, who facilitated
• 3:21
Speaker 1: his conduct by, among other things, contacting victims and scheduling
• 3:26
Speaker 1: their sexual encounters with Epstein at the New York residence
• 3:30
Speaker 1: and at the Palm Beach residence. So, where are these
• 3:33
Speaker 1: others that they're talking about right here in the sealed indictment?
• 3:37
Speaker 1: Sure seems to me that the only person that got
• 3:39
Speaker 1: arrested was Epstein. They had all this information, all this evidence,
• 3:44
Speaker 1: and he's the only one that gets arrested, and then
• 3:47
Speaker 1: they let him die? Boy, that doesn't look bad. And
• 3:50
Speaker 1: you wonder why there's conspiracy theories that pop up. Factual background. 5.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: During all time periods charged in this indictment, Jeffrey Epstein,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: the defendant, was a financier with multiple residences in the
• 4:03
Speaker 1: continental United States, including the New York residence and the
• 4:08
Speaker 1: Palm Beach residence. 6. Beginning in at least 2002, Jeffrey Epstein,
• 4:14
Speaker 1: the defendant, enticed and recruited and caused to be enticed
• 4:18
Speaker 1: and recruited dozens of minor girls, to engage in sex
• 4:22
Speaker 1: acts with him, after which Epstein paid the victims hundreds
• 4:26
Speaker 1: of dollars in cash at the New York residence and
• 4:29
Speaker 1: the Palm Beach residence. 7. In both New York and Florida,
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, perpetuated this abuse in similar ways.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: Victims were initially recruited to provide massages to Epstein, which
• 4:42
Speaker 1: would be performed nude or partially nude. would become increasingly
• 4:46
Speaker 1: sexual in nature and would typically include one or more
• 4:50
Speaker 1: sex acts. Epstein paid his victims hundreds of dollars in
• 4:54
Speaker 1: cash for each encounter. Moreover, Epstein actively encouraged certain of
• 5:00
Speaker 1: his victims to recruit additional girls to be abused in
• 5:04
Speaker 1: a similar manner. Epstein incentivized his victims to become recruiters
• 5:08
Speaker 1: by paying these victim recruiters hundreds of dollars for each
• 5:12
Speaker 1: girl that they brought to Jeffrey Epstein. In so doing,
• 5:17
Speaker 1: Epstein maintained a steady supply of new victims to exploit,
• 5:21
Speaker 1: and we know it was three to seven a day.
• 5:24
Speaker 1: So you guys do the math out there. Seems to
• 5:26
Speaker 1: me that there is quite a number of victims that
• 5:29
Speaker 1: we've never even heard of. The New York residents. Number eight.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: At all times relevant to this indictment, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant,
• 5:38
Speaker 1: possessed and controlled a multi-story private residence on the Upper
• 5:42
Speaker 1: East Side of Manhattan, New York, i.e. the New York residents.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: Between at least in or about 2002 and in or
• 5:50
Speaker 1: about 2005, Epstein abused numerous minor victims at the New
• 5:55
Speaker 1: York residence by causing these victims to be recruited to
• 5:59
Speaker 1: engage in paid sex acts with him. 9. When a
• 6:04
Speaker 1: victim arrived at the New York residence, she typically would
• 6:07
Speaker 1: be escorted to a room with a massage table where
• 6:10
Speaker 1: she would perform a massage on Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant.
• 6:14
Speaker 1: The victims, who were as young as 14 years of age,
• 6:17
Speaker 1: were told by Epstein or other individuals to partially or
• 6:21
Speaker 1: fully undress before beginning the massage. During the encounter, Epstein
• 6:26
Speaker 1: would escalate the nature and the scope of the physical
• 6:29
Speaker 1: contact with his victims to include, among other things, sex
• 6:34
Speaker 1: acts such as groping, indirect and indirect contact with the
• 6:38
Speaker 1: victim's genitals. Epstein typically would also masturbate during these sexualized encounters,
• 6:45
Speaker 1: ask victims to touch him while he masturbated, and touch
• 6:48
Speaker 1: victims' genitals with his hands or with sex toys. 10.
• 6:54
Speaker 1: In connection with each sexual encounter, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant,
• 6:58
Speaker 1: or one of his employees or associates, paid the victim
• 7:01
Speaker 1: in cash. Victims typically were paid hundreds of dollars in
• 7:05
Speaker 1: cash for each encounter. Now if that was you or me...
• 7:08
Speaker 1: involved in something like that, this would be a RICO
• 7:11
Speaker 1: case and everybody would be caught up. When you have
• 7:14
Speaker 1: somebody who is in your employ, who is paying people off,
• 7:17
Speaker 1: who have been victimized, they're now part of the conspiracy.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: So how is it that all of these people who
• 7:23
Speaker 1: were writing checks and handing out money, making schedules, how
• 7:27
Speaker 1: is it that all of them get off? But if
• 7:31
Speaker 1: somebody's selling drugs and they live with their mom and
• 7:33
Speaker 1: dad and the police come into that house, how is
• 7:36
Speaker 1: it that the police can seize that house from their
• 7:38
Speaker 1: parents because, you know, ill-gotten gains? But not Epstein, not
• 7:42
Speaker 1: his boys. It's a joke. And there's no way in
• 7:45
Speaker 1: the world that Epstein and his pals should have ever
• 7:49
Speaker 1: been able to do what they did. Number 11. Jeffrey Epstein,
• 7:53
Speaker 1: the defendant, knew that many of his New York victims
• 7:56
Speaker 1: were underage. including because certain victims told him their age. Further,
• 8:02
Speaker 1: once these minor victims were recruited, many were abused by
• 8:06
Speaker 1: Epstein on multiple subsequent occasions at the New York residence.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: Epstein sometimes personally contacted victims to schedule appointments at the
• 8:15
Speaker 1: New York residence. In other instances, Epstein directed employees and associates,
• 8:21
Speaker 1: including a New York-based employee, to communicate with victims via
• 8:25
Speaker 1: phone to arrange for these victims to return to the
• 8:29
Speaker 1: New York residence for additional sexual encounters with Epstein. So
• 8:33
Speaker 1: whoever that is making those scheduling dates, that person should
• 8:37
Speaker 1: be guilty of sex trafficking and abusing minors because that's
• 8:42
Speaker 1: what was going on here. They were helping facilitate the
• 8:45
Speaker 1: crime and they were part of the conspiracy to commit
• 8:48
Speaker 1: these crimes and keep the criminal enterprise afloat and running.
• 8:52
Speaker 1: It's clear as day. Anyone who knows anything about organized
• 8:55
Speaker 1: crime should be able to take one look at this
• 8:58
Speaker 1: and say, look, this is a RICO case and it's
• 9:00
Speaker 1: not even a discussion. But that's not something you're hearing
• 9:04
Speaker 1: from the legacy media, right? Instead, they want to tell
• 9:06
Speaker 1: you why Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in that jail cell
• 9:10
Speaker 1: and they want to run cover for the DOJ and
• 9:13
Speaker 1: the powers that be. Now ask yourself why they would
• 9:16
Speaker 1: want to do that. Isn't it the fourth estate's job
• 9:19
Speaker 1: to hold them to account, to make sure they're being honest?
• 9:22
Speaker 1: and to make sure they're shooting you straight? 12. Additionally,
• 9:26
Speaker 1: to further facilitate his ability to abuse minor girls in
• 9:29
Speaker 1: New York, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, asked and enticed certain
• 9:33
Speaker 1: of his victims to recruit additional girls to perform massages
• 9:38
Speaker 1: and similar engagements in sex acts with Epstein. When a
• 9:42
Speaker 1: victim would recruit another girl for Epstein, he paid both
• 9:45
Speaker 1: the victim and the recruiter and the new victim hundreds
• 9:48
Speaker 1: of dollars in cash. Through these victim recruiters, Epstein gained
• 9:53
Speaker 1: access to and was able to abuse dozens of additional
• 9:56
Speaker 1: minor girls. 13. In particular, certain recruiters brought dozens of
• 10:02
Speaker 1: additional minor girls to the New York residence to give
• 10:05
Speaker 1: massages to and engage in sex acts with Jeffrey Epstein,
• 10:10
Speaker 1: the defendant. Epstein encouraged victims to recruit additional girls by
• 10:15
Speaker 1: offering to pay these victim recruiters for every additional girl
• 10:18
Speaker 1: they brought to Epstein. When a victim recruiter accompanied a
• 10:22
Speaker 1: new minor victim to the New York residence, both the
• 10:25
Speaker 1: victim recruiter and the new minor victim were paid hundreds
• 10:29
Speaker 1: of dollars by Epstein for each encounter. In addition, certain
• 10:34
Speaker 1: victim recruiters routinely scheduled these encounters through employee one who
• 10:39
Speaker 1: sometimes asked the recruiters to bring a specific minor girl
• 10:42
Speaker 1: for Epstein. And we know that recruiter one or employee one,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: I should say, is more than likely to Sarah Kellan Vickers.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: The Palm Beach Residents. 14. In addition to recruiting and
• 10:54
Speaker 1: abusing minor girls in New York, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant,
• 10:58
Speaker 1: created a similar network of minor girls to victimize in
• 11:01
Speaker 1: Palm Beach, Florida, where Epstein owned, possessed, and controlled another
• 11:06
Speaker 1: large residence, i.e., the Palm Beach Residents. Epstein frequently traveled
• 11:11
Speaker 1: from New York to Palm Beach by private jet before
• 11:14
Speaker 1: which an employee or associate would ensure that minor victims
• 11:19
Speaker 1: were available for encounters upon his arrival in Florida. 15.
• 11:25
Speaker 1: At the Palm Beach residence, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, engaged
• 11:28
Speaker 1: in a similar course of abusive conduct. When a victim
• 11:32
Speaker 1: initially arrived at the Palm Beach residence, she would be
• 11:34
Speaker 1: escorted to a room, sometimes by an employee of Epstein's,
• 11:39
Speaker 1: including at times two assistants, Employee 2 and Employee 3. who,
• 11:43
Speaker 1: as described herein, were also responsible for scheduling sexual encounters
• 11:48
Speaker 1: with minor victims. How is it that those people, employee
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: 1 and 2, aren't arrested? How is it that they're
• 11:55
Speaker 1: not being perp walked? And how is it that we
• 11:57
Speaker 1: don't see them in cuffs and facing serious sentences? Once inside,
• 12:04
Speaker 1: the victim would provide a nude or semi-nude massage for Epstein,
• 12:08
Speaker 1: who would himself typically be naked. During these encounters, Epstein
• 12:12
Speaker 1: would escalate the nature and scope of the physical contact
• 12:16
Speaker 1: to include sex acts such as groping and direct and
• 12:19
Speaker 1: indirect contact with the victim's genitals. Epstein would also typically
• 12:25
Speaker 1: masturbate during these encounters, ask victims to touch him while
• 12:29
Speaker 1: he masturbated, and touch victims' genitals with his hands or
• 12:33
Speaker 1: with sex toys. Sixteen. The connection with each sexual encounter,
• 12:39
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, or one of his employees or
• 12:42
Speaker 1: associates paid the victims in cash. Victims typically were paid
• 12:46
Speaker 1: hundreds of dollars for each encounter. 17. Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant,
• 12:52
Speaker 1: knew that certain of his victims were underage, including because
• 12:56
Speaker 1: certain victims told him their age. In addition, as with
• 13:00
Speaker 1: New York-based victims, many Florida victims once recruited were abused
• 13:04
Speaker 1: by Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, on multiple additional occasions. 18.
• 13:10
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, who during the relevant time period
• 13:14
Speaker 1: was frequently in New York, would arrange for employee two
• 13:17
Speaker 1: or other employees to contact victims by phone in advance
• 13:21
Speaker 1: of Epstein's travel to Florida to ensure appointments were scheduled
• 13:26
Speaker 1: for when he arrived. In particular, in certain instances, employee
• 13:30
Speaker 1: two placed phone calls to a minor victim in Florida
• 13:34
Speaker 1: to schedule encounters at the Palm Beach residence. At the
• 13:37
Speaker 1: time of certain of those phone calls, Epstein and an
• 13:40
Speaker 1: employee number two were in New York, New York. Additionally,
• 13:44
Speaker 1: certain of the individuals victimized at the Palm Beach residence
• 13:48
Speaker 1: were contacted by phone by employee number three to schedule
• 13:52
Speaker 1: these encounters. Number 19. Moreover, as in New York, to
• 13:57
Speaker 1: ensure a steady stream of minor victims, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant,
• 14:01
Speaker 1: asked and enticed certain victims in Florida to recruit other
• 14:04
Speaker 1: girls to engage in sex acts. Epstein paid hundreds of
• 14:08
Speaker 1: dollars to victim recruiters for additional girls they brought to
• 14:12
Speaker 1: the Palm Beach residence. Statutory allegations, 20. From at least
• 14:18
Speaker 1: in or about 2002 up to and including in or
• 14:22
Speaker 1: about 2005 in the Southern District of New York and elsewhere,
• 14:26
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, and other known and unknown victims
• 14:29
Speaker 1: willfully and knowingly did combine, conspire, confederate, and agree together,
• 14:35
Speaker 1: and with each other, to commit an offense against the
• 14:38
Speaker 1: United States government to wit, sex trafficking of minors, in
• 14:42
Speaker 1: violation of Title 18, United States Code Section 1591, A
• 14:48
Speaker 1: and B. 21. It was part and object of the
• 14:52
Speaker 1: conspiracy that Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, and others known and
• 14:56
Speaker 1: unknown would and did commit in and affecting interstate and
• 15:00
Speaker 1: foreign commerce, recruit, entice, harbor, transport, provide, and obtain, by
• 15:06
Speaker 1: any means, a person, and to benefit financially, and by
• 15:10
Speaker 1: receiving anything of value from participation in a venture which
• 15:15
Speaker 1: has engaged in any such act, knowing that the person
• 15:19
Speaker 1: had not attained the age of 18 years and would
• 15:22
Speaker 1: be caused to engage in a commercial sex act, in
• 15:25
Speaker 1: violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1591 A
• 15:31
Speaker 1: and B and 2. Overt Acts. 22. In furtherance of
• 15:37
Speaker 1: the conspiracy and to affect the illegal object thereof, the
• 15:40
Speaker 1: following overt acts, among others, were committed in the Southern
• 15:44
Speaker 1: District of New York and elsewhere. A. In or about 2004,
• 15:50
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, enticed and recruited multiple minor victims,
• 15:55
Speaker 1: including minor victims identified herein as Minor Victim 1, Minor
• 15:59
Speaker 1: Victim 2, and Minor Victim 3, to engage in sex
• 16:02
Speaker 1: acts with Epstein at his residence in Manhattan, New York,
• 16:06
Speaker 1: and Palm Beach, Florida, after which he provided them with
• 16:10
Speaker 1: hundreds of dollars in cash for each encounter. B. In
• 16:15
Speaker 1: or about 2002, Minor Victim 1 was recruited to to
• 16:19
Speaker 1: engage in sex acts with Epstein and was repeatedly sexually
• 16:22
Speaker 1: abused by Epstein at the New York residence over a
• 16:26
Speaker 1: period of years and was paid hundreds of dollars for
• 16:29
Speaker 1: each encounter. Epstein also encouraged and enticed Minor Victim 1
• 16:34
Speaker 1: to recruit other girls to engage in paid sex acts,
• 16:38
Speaker 1: which she did. Epstein asked Minor Victim 1 how old
• 16:42
Speaker 1: she was and Minor Victim 1 answered truthfully, C. In
• 16:47
Speaker 1: or about 2004, Employee 1, located in the Southern District
• 16:52
Speaker 1: of New York, and on behalf of Epstein, placed a
• 16:54
Speaker 1: telephone call to Minor Victim 1 in order to schedule
• 16:58
Speaker 1: an appointment for Minor Victim 1 to engage in paid
• 17:02
Speaker 1: sex acts with Epstein. D. In or about 2004, Minor
• 17:07
Speaker 1: Victim 2 was recruited to engage in sex acts with
• 17:10
Speaker 1: Epstein and was repeatedly sexually abused by Epstein at the
• 17:14
Speaker 1: Palm Beach residence over a period of years and was
• 17:17
Speaker 1: paid hundreds of dollars after each encounter. Epstein also encouraged
• 17:22
Speaker 1: and enticed Minor, victim 2, to recruit other girls to
• 17:25
Speaker 1: engage in paid sex acts, which she did. E. In
• 17:30
Speaker 1: or about 2005, employee 2, located in the Southern District
• 17:35
Speaker 1: of New York, and on behalf of Epstein, placed a
• 17:38
Speaker 1: telephone call to Minor, victim 2, in order to schedule
• 17:42
Speaker 1: an appointment for minor victim two to engage in paid
• 17:45
Speaker 1: sex acts with Epstein. F. In or about 2005, minor
• 17:50
Speaker 1: victim three was recruited to engage in sex acts with
• 17:53
Speaker 1: Epstein and was repeatedly sexually abused by Epstein at the
• 17:58
Speaker 1: Palm Beach residence over a period of years and was
• 18:01
Speaker 1: paid hundreds of dollars for each encounter. Epstein also encouraged
• 18:06
Speaker 1: and enticed minor three to recruit other girls to engage
• 18:09
Speaker 1: in in paid sex acts, which they did. Epstein asked
• 18:13
Speaker 1: Minor 3 how old she was, and Minor 3 victim
• 18:17
Speaker 1: answered truthfully. 9. In or about 2005, Employee 2, located
• 18:23
Speaker 1: in the Southern District of New York, and on behalf
• 18:26
Speaker 1: of Epstein, placed the telephone call to Minor Victim 3
• 18:30
Speaker 1: in Florida in order to schedule an appointment for Minor
• 18:33
Speaker 1: Victim 3 to engage in paid sex acts with Epstein. 8.
• 18:38
Speaker 1: In or about 2004, Employee 3 placed a telephone call
• 18:43
Speaker 1: to Minor Victim 3 in order to schedule an appointment
• 18:47
Speaker 1: for Minor Victim 3 to engage in paid sex acts
• 18:50
Speaker 1: with Epstein. Title 18, United States Code, Section 371. Count
• 18:57
Speaker 1: Number 2, Sex Trafficking. The Grand Jury further charges 23.
• 19:02
Speaker 1: The allegations contained in paragraph 1 through 19 and 22
• 19:05
Speaker 1: of this indictment are repeated and re-alleged as fully set
• 19:11
Speaker 1: forth within. 24. From at least in or about 2002,
• 19:16
Speaker 1: up to and including in or about 2005, in the
• 19:20
Speaker 1: Southern District of New York, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, willfully
• 19:24
Speaker 1: and knowingly, in and affecting interests and foreign commerce, did recruit, entice, harbor, transport, provide,

Speaker 1: and obtain by any means a person, knowing that the
• 19:36
Speaker 1: person had not attained the age of 18 years and
• 19:39
Speaker 1: would be caused to engage in a commercial sex act,
• 19:42
Speaker 1: and did aid and abet the same, to wit, Epstein recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided,
• 19:49
  Speaker 1: and obtained. A, B, 2, and 2. Forfeiture allegations. 25.
• 20:16
Speaker 1: As a result of committing the offenses alleged in Count
• 20:19
Speaker 1: 2 of this indictment, Jeffrey Epstein, the defendant, shall forfeit
• 20:23
Speaker 1: to the United States government pursuant to Title 18, United
• 20:27
Speaker 1: States Code, Section 1594, C1, any property, real and personal,
• 20:34
Speaker 1: constituting or derived from any proceeds obtained directly or indirectly
• 20:39
Speaker 1: as a result of the offense alleged in count two,
• 20:43
Speaker 1: or any property traceable to such property and the following
• 20:47
Speaker 1: specific property. And right here is the most compelling reason
• 20:51
Speaker 1: for why Epstein would kill himself. If he killed himself,
• 20:55
Speaker 1: this would end up going to an estate And getting
• 20:57
Speaker 1: pieced off the way it did. If not. And he
• 21:00
Speaker 1: was found guilty. The government was going to seize these properties.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: And all of that would have fell right here. Under
• 21:07
Speaker 1: this jurisdiction. Under Title 18. So it's interesting to take
• 21:12
Speaker 1: a look at it. From that perspective. And as far
• 21:15
Speaker 1: as an argument. That is logical. And an argument that
• 21:19
Speaker 1: holds a little weight. About why Epstein would kill himself.
• 21:22
Speaker 1: That's certainly one of them. A. The lot or parcel
• 21:27
Speaker 1: of land together with its buildings, improvements, fixtures, attachments, and
• 21:32
Speaker 1: easements located at 9th East 71st Street, New York, New
• 21:36
Speaker 1: York with block number 1386 and lot number 10 owned
• 21:41
Speaker 1: by Maple Incorporated. Substitute Asset Provision 26. If any of
• 21:47
Speaker 1: the above describe forfeitable property as a result of any
• 21:51
Speaker 1: act or omission of the defendant. A. Cannot be located
• 21:55
Speaker 1: upon the exercise of due diligence. B. Has been transferred
• 21:59
Speaker 1: or sold to or deposited with a third person. C.
• 22:03
Speaker 1: Has been placed beyond the jurisdiction of the court. D.
• 22:06
Speaker 1: Has been substantially diminished in value. Or E. Has been
• 22:11
Speaker 1: commingled with other property which cannot be subdivided without difficulty.
• 22:17
Speaker 1: It is the intent of the United States pursuant to
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: 21 U.S.C. Section 853 and 28 USC 2461 Section C
• 22:28
Speaker 1: to seek forfeiture of any other property of the defendant
• 22:32
Speaker 1: up to the value of the above forfeitable property. And
• 22:37
Speaker 1: of course, he was able to avoid all of that
• 22:39
Speaker 1: because he died. And you know what? In that new
• 22:42
Speaker 1: information that came out from the AP, if you want
• 22:44
Speaker 1: to call it new, they didn't even mention anything like that. Instead,
• 22:48
Speaker 1: they just talked about how this really settles things and
• 22:51
Speaker 1: it gives us more information when really it just rehashed
• 22:54
Speaker 1: stuff that we already knew. Either way, I thought it
• 22:57
Speaker 1: was about time that we had the actual sealed indictment
• 23:01
Speaker 1: added to the catalog and that we could all get
• 23:03
Speaker 1: a good look at it for ourselves. All right, folks,
• 23:06
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All of
• 23:08
Speaker 1: the information that goes with the episode can be found
• 23:12
Speaker 1: in the description box.
