- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Good morning. Here we go starting things up on this
- 0:04Speaker 2: Monday real quick. I just want to give a shout out.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I had to take an uber into work today and Chino,
- 0:08Speaker 2: my driver, had the river on.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Hi Chino, Hi Chino, Thanks.
- 0:12Speaker 2: For the ride, buddy, appreciate it. Ricky San says is
- 0:14Speaker 2: right here and she's got those three things.
- 0:16Speaker 4: That made me feel a little bit better.
- 0:17Speaker 5: I walked in and I dropped my breakfast on the ground,
- 0:19Speaker 5: so I'm not having a great.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Start sp my day.
- 0:21Speaker 3: You can only go up from here.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Chino made me happy. That's that's exciting.
- 0:24Speaker 5: I love that Tennessee has a bunch of new laws
- 0:27Speaker 5: that will go into effect tomorrow. Here are a few
- 0:30Speaker 5: of them that you should keep in mind. Tennessee citizens
- 0:33Speaker 5: can now take their boating safety exam online. Previously you
- 0:37Speaker 5: would have to go take the exam in person under
- 0:39Speaker 5: the supervision of a proctor. There's also a new law
- 0:43Speaker 5: enforcing a new law for law enforcement. Sorry, that's a
- 0:49Speaker 5: ton of twister that requires them to accept a digital
- 0:54Speaker 5: copy of vehicle registration as a valid proof of insurance,
- 0:58Speaker 5: which is awesome. And the victims of AI deep fakes
- 1:01Speaker 5: will now have the ability to take legal action here
- 1:03Speaker 5: in Tennessee. It'll be a Class E felony offense to quote,
- 1:07Speaker 5: disclose or threaten to disclose intimate digital depictions with the
- 1:12Speaker 5: intent to harass, annoy, alarm, or cause substantial harm in
- 1:17Speaker 5: the finances or reputation of.
- 1:18Speaker 4: The depicted individual.
- 1:20Speaker 5: So this is a huge win for anybody that's ever
- 1:22Speaker 5: experienced deep fakes. That seems to be a huge thing
- 1:25Speaker 5: online lately, so this is their way of combating that.
- 1:28Speaker 4: So those are just a few.
- 1:29Speaker 5: There are a bunch more. You should keep up to
- 1:32Speaker 5: date with all of them. I don't have enough time
- 1:33Speaker 5: to go through every single one of them, but those
- 1:35Speaker 5: are three that I felt like, you know, you should
- 1:37Speaker 5: really know right now. Brad Pitt's f one. The movie
- 1:40Speaker 5: was number one in the box office this weekend. The
- 1:42Speaker 5: movie debuted with fifty five point six million dollars, taking
- 1:46Speaker 5: in one hundred and forty four million globally, which gave
- 1:48Speaker 5: Brad Pitt his best global opening ever.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So clearly they're doing pretty.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Well with that one. I keep seeing so many ads
- 1:54Speaker 5: for it. We've talked about it. I haven't seen it yet.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Last night you saw it was good like he it was.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It was good. It was top gun and cars. It
- 2:03Speaker 3: was great.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Okay, I mean that kind of sells me on it.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 2:05Speaker 5: And according to a sleep doctor, this is the optimal
- 2:08Speaker 5: time of day to nap. If you're already thinking about
- 2:10Speaker 5: a nap like I am, the best time for you
- 2:13Speaker 5: to nap is between noon and two pm, right when
- 2:16Speaker 5: your Sahitian rhythm naturally dips. You only want to take
- 2:19Speaker 5: a quick fifteen to twenty minute power nap.
- 2:21Speaker 4: You don't want to do anything else.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Fifteen to twenty minutes is all you need to boost
- 2:25Speaker 5: your mood, alertness, and focus without messing up your nighttime
- 2:28Speaker 5: sleep regimen. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three
- 2:31Speaker 5: things you.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Need to know.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Ricky, thank you so much. Thank you for starting your
- 2:34Speaker 2: Monday with us. Here we go a brand new week.
- 2:36Speaker 2: We do have a big announcement coming this morning at
- 2:38Speaker 2: eight o'clock. We're two hours away.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Two hours.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Let'll tell you all about River on the rooftop. Twenty
- 2:43Speaker 2: twenty five people and waiting for this. The day has
- 2:46Speaker 2: arrived before we even get there.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Though. We have VIP pass for you at seven forty five.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It's a whole thing just stay with us all day
- 2:51Speaker 3: right here on the river.
- 2:53Speaker 1: One seven the River, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 2:56Speaker 2: We're looking for a first caller of the day right now,
- 2:59Speaker 2: and you're getting something real special.
- 3:00Speaker 5: You're getting a Ricky Zach and Mano's sticker today.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well that's at it. You're writting a sticker and a song.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Oh oh, you are going to do the song.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Of course we're doing this.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Don't say that.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Course you did not seem like you were ready to
- 3:12Speaker 4: do songs.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Oh, I very much. I think I was trying to
- 3:14Speaker 3: play it cool, like not act too excited. But I'm
- 3:17Speaker 3: so excited.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Okay, Kevin's gonna make you a song and sing it
- 3:20Speaker 5: to you as well.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We're gonna make some small talking to know you a
- 3:23Speaker 2: bit a bit, and then I'm gonna generate a really
- 3:25Speaker 2: a great song, the song of the Summer, perhaps about you, Okay,
- 3:29Speaker 2: and we're giving you a sticker.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Six one five, seven, three, seven nine seven to be
- 3:33Speaker 5: the first color of.
- 3:33Speaker 4: The day today.
- 3:34Speaker 1: One seven, Ricky Zach and Menos.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Shorting, who is currently from Ashland City but driving on
- 3:41Speaker 5: our way to work into Nashville. Good morning, Welcome to
- 3:43Speaker 5: one oh seven five the river.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 3:46Speaker 3: What do you do, Cheryl? What do you do in Nashville?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Working quality for a pull?
- 3:50Speaker 5: A lot of data and procedures, kind of waring.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Okay, but do you love it?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Though?
- 3:55Speaker 4: I do?
- 3:56Speaker 1: I love it?
- 3:57Speaker 5: Okay, that's all that matters we when it comes to
- 3:59Speaker 5: number I think I can say, collectively the three of
- 4:02Speaker 5: us not so great.
- 4:03Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Me probably the worst, but not so great when it
- 4:09Speaker 5: comes to any sort of numbers or math or anything
- 4:12Speaker 5: like that.
- 4:12Speaker 4: So as long as you love it, that's all the matter, Cheryl.
- 4:16Speaker 2: That's true.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Would you do this weekend?
- 4:18Speaker 4: Cheryl? We actually had to get to new phone, so
- 4:21Speaker 4: that's not always the most fun all the events.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Okay, So let's see. Does Kevin have any more questions?
- 4:28Speaker 5: Because you're gonna get a song from Kevin, Cheryl. He's
- 4:31Speaker 5: gonna make you a song.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'm mining information right now so I can write the
- 4:34Speaker 2: song this summer about you.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Oh wow?
- 4:37Speaker 7: Are you an iPhone or Android user?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oh?
- 4:40Speaker 2: iPhone? And we just got my daughter and iPhone?
- 4:46Speaker 5: All right, they're an Apple family, Kevin. What else do
- 4:48Speaker 5: you need to know about Cheryl in order to make
- 4:49Speaker 5: this song?
- 4:50Speaker 7: What's your favorite color?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Oh?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, what's your favorite color?
- 4:53Speaker 5: Probably purple?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Okay, great, Ricky's gonna tell you about the sticker and
- 4:56Speaker 2: then I am gonna just blow your hair back of
- 4:58Speaker 2: the sorr.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Purple is also my favorite color, Cheryl, So I love that,
- 5:03Speaker 5: and also one of the colors in the Ricky Zac
- 5:05Speaker 5: and Mano in the Morning sticker that you're gonna get
- 5:07Speaker 5: said to you, it's actually really cool because it is holographic.
- 5:12Speaker 5: We had to buy them ourselves, so they mean a
- 5:15Speaker 5: lot to us. Yeah, the company doesn't really owed that
- 5:20Speaker 5: much money for us, so we bought these ourselves.
- 5:22Speaker 7: So we're very.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Excited to give one to you and sticks amazing. I
- 5:28Speaker 4: can't wait to see what you put it on.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Are you ready? Cheryl?
- 5:32Speaker 2: In Nashville's home where the bright lights glow, Cheryl walks
- 5:36Speaker 2: with a calm, sure flow, a brand new iPhone in
- 5:39Speaker 2: her hand, snapping the sights of music land. Purple's her
- 5:43Speaker 2: shade bullet, serene like twilight skies in a southern scene.
- 5:47Speaker 2: She smiles at texts with a graceful sway, living her
- 5:50Speaker 2: best each vibrant day. Here's to Cheryl, Stylish and bright,
- 5:54Speaker 2: lit by screens and city light.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Wow Heaven nice.
- 5:59Speaker 4: I love it sound a very Broadway.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Esque you did.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Is that a good thing?
- 6:03Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Yet, Okay, Zach says yes, So we'll go ahead like, Oh,
- 6:07Speaker 5: Cheryl likes it, and that's what.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Matters because it was all for Cheryl.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for being here, Cheryl.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Thank you my beautiful phone. Oh hang on the line, Love.
- 6:18Speaker 5: We gotta get some info from you, Okay, if.
- 6:21Speaker 3: You would like a song tomorrow, be here.
- 6:23Speaker 7: The pressure is on, Kevin.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I know you gotta get a one up yourself every day.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Do I say that I use chat jeep butte or
- 6:29Speaker 3: do I not?
- 6:30Speaker 1: No?
- 6:31Speaker 3: I mean that was I can't come up with that.
- 6:33Speaker 7: That came out at the top of your head.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Ricky Sack in the morning.
- 6:39Speaker 5: You're probably so sick and tired of hearing about us
- 6:41Speaker 5: talk about birthdays. But all three of us, Ricky, Zach
- 6:45Speaker 5: and Mano in the morning, we all have summer birthdays.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Kevin's was yesterday, so we're gonna celebrate today. Zach and
- 6:52Speaker 5: I have a little surprise for you.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Oh we do. We have a little surprise for you.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's more than a birthday. I don't know if this
- 6:58Speaker 2: ties into your surprise, is what if you don't know, honestly,
- 7:05Speaker 2: hang on, I'll tell you right after she boozy. So
- 7:07Speaker 2: you guys have a surprise for me. I have a
- 7:09Speaker 2: surprise for you, double surprise.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Next on the River, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 7:17Speaker 4: It's one O seven five the River.
- 7:19Speaker 5: We have a birthday to celebrate today because it was
- 7:22Speaker 5: technically yesterday. Yesterday was Kevin Manno's birthday. Birthday, thank you,
- 7:27Speaker 5: so we need to celebrate today.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Before that song, we kind of stumbled into the fact
- 7:31Speaker 2: that we have a double surprise here. Let me get
- 7:33Speaker 2: mine out of the way first, because it's it's kind
- 7:35Speaker 2: of underwhelming. Okay, but yesterday was more than my birthday.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It was our anniversary. We all met on my fortieth birthday.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That was the first time I ever met you guys.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Okay, that was a cute surprise.
- 7:47Speaker 5: I was a little nervous anniversary.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Oh how gross? No, I love that. I love that.
- 7:54Speaker 5: So now Zach and I have a little surprise for you, Kevin.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I hope you're actually ready.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Attention to Nashville. We have a very special birthday today.
- 8:03Speaker 5: It's Kevin Minnow's birthday, and we are going to show
- 8:06Speaker 5: him how to celebrate. Oh, god, oh my, are we
- 8:10Speaker 5: ready ready?
- 8:14Speaker 4: Hey, life's good fortune. Come on, sit back and just relax.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Will fill your tow your place way. Where is that
- 8:22Speaker 4: you can't just celebrate with us today?
- 8:24Speaker 2: Hey?
- 8:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, my heart is so full right now.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That's Kevin's favorite thing to see the people.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Every birthday for every person, So we had to see
- 8:34Speaker 5: it for you.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I'm touched. I appreciate you guys preparing that.
- 8:38Speaker 7: We worked really hard.
- 8:39Speaker 3: That means a lot to me, really hard. Oh my god,
- 8:45Speaker 3: that is sort of my calling card.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I say that I think at least a couple of
- 8:47Speaker 2: times on stage at River on the rooftop land year.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yes you did.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I'll definitely do it again this year. I'm sure there
- 8:52Speaker 3: will be a birthday in the house. That means a lot.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Thank you, guys for that.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Happy birthday.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Kept ong all right that I love it. It was
- 9:00Speaker 2: a great birthday yesterday. I got lunch with the family.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I went to see F one with some friends last night,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and then did something kind of spontaneous, which is not
- 9:07Speaker 2: normally me.
- 9:08Speaker 3: What these friends and I. After we saw F one,
- 9:11Speaker 3: we went to a go kart race.
- 9:14Speaker 2: K one track whatever one not men, It was not
- 9:19Speaker 2: even let you in on your birthday. Yeah, we were
- 9:21Speaker 2: all very competitive. I mean I hung in there, but
- 9:23Speaker 2: I didn't win. And now next up, Ricky's birthday is
- 9:26Speaker 2: coming up.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Yes, yes, sorry, but birthdays, I know.
- 9:30Speaker 3: We'll just keep on singing out Olive Garden song. Thank
- 9:32Speaker 3: you guys again.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Three things you need to know?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, all right, let's go. Thanks for starting
- 9:37Speaker 2: this Monday with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Fans think that Maddie Healy from the nineteen seventy five
- 9:43Speaker 5: was throwing shade at Taylor Swift Over the weekend, he
- 9:46Speaker 5: addressed the Glastonbury Festival, which just happened. He had the
- 9:49Speaker 5: full audience Friday night. During his set, before going into
- 9:53Speaker 5: the nineteen seventy five's Chocolate, he said, quote, I'm probably
- 9:57Speaker 5: the best songwriter of my generation, the best what do
- 10:01Speaker 5: we say, A poet, ladies and gentlemen is what I am.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Generational wordsmith.
- 10:06Speaker 5: I just wanted to remind you, you know, in the
- 10:09Speaker 5: next couple of minutes, these lyrics, this poetry, I bleed
- 10:12Speaker 5: for you, all right, which, obviously, then fans, I'll focus
- 10:16Speaker 5: very much on the poet and poetry part. As a
- 10:20Speaker 5: dig to his ex Taylor Swift because she had the
- 10:22Speaker 5: Tortured Poets Department album that came out.
- 10:25Speaker 4: But afterwards, he apparently.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Did clarify after the performance that he was only joking
- 10:31Speaker 5: about being a poet.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Seems a little.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Sus though, little sus little too many connections there, and
- 10:37Speaker 5: obviously Swifties jumped on it real fast.
- 10:41Speaker 4: This is super cool.
- 10:42Speaker 5: If you want, you can now see what your block
- 10:44Speaker 5: used to look like over the last twenty years. So
- 10:47Speaker 5: the Google Earth app now lets you basically travel through
- 10:50Speaker 5: time with this new thing that you can do.
- 10:52Speaker 4: You just go into street View.
- 10:53Speaker 5: You go into a setting and you can see past
- 10:55Speaker 5: pictures of the entire world anywhere you want from the
- 10:58Speaker 5: last twenty years. So search for a location and then
- 11:02Speaker 5: click street View and then you can scroll through the
- 11:04Speaker 5: dates tab that possish.
- 11:06Speaker 3: My gosh, I'm definitely doing that. I want to see
- 11:07Speaker 3: my childhood home.
- 11:08Speaker 5: That's kind of what I was thinking, is that you
- 11:09Speaker 5: can look back at your childhood home in the twenty
- 11:11Speaker 5: years and see, you know, the pieces that you remember,
- 11:14Speaker 5: maybe pieces you don't remember from that time. But there's
- 11:17Speaker 5: a new tool that lets users look at the historical
- 11:19Speaker 5: satellite imagery as well.
- 11:21Speaker 4: So this is really really cool.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Also really something cool to kind of show your kids too, like, oh,
- 11:25Speaker 5: this is what it used to look like at one point.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Check it out in the Google Earth app.
- 11:30Speaker 5: And Buddy's back Room inside Jelly Rolls good Night, Nashale
- 11:33Speaker 5: is now open to the public.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Buddy's back Room.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Was originally a private speakeasy that's tucked inside Jelly Rolls
- 11:39Speaker 5: Good Night in Nashville. It's open to the public on
- 11:42Speaker 5: Friday and Saturday nights, though now it's the third floor lounge.
- 11:46Speaker 4: It was named after his late father.
- 11:47Speaker 5: They serve Agave Forward cocktails and they have an entirely
- 11:51Speaker 5: different menu from the rest of the venue, so it
- 11:53Speaker 5: makes it a really cool moment.
- 11:54Speaker 4: For you to check out.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Like I said, Friday and Saturday nights is when you
- 11:57Speaker 5: can do that, Amrigy Sanchez, And those are the three
- 11:59Speaker 5: things you need to know.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky. We're getting back into the
- 12:02Speaker 2: music here. Another reminder. One hour from right now, we're
- 12:05Speaker 2: making a big announcement river on the rooftop be here
- 12:08Speaker 2: at eight o'clock. People have been waiting for this, it's
- 12:10Speaker 2: coming this morning.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Almost made the announcement by accident multiple occasions.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And then right after grazy Abrams, we have a fact
- 12:17Speaker 2: for you on this Monday morning.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Zach Bax Next, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 12:24Speaker 5: I hope you guys are ready to start your week
- 12:26Speaker 5: off right. It's Zack sbax on one of seventy five
- 12:29Speaker 5: the river.
- 12:29Speaker 8: Babies are born with more bones than adults.
- 12:33Speaker 7: Isn't that crazy?
- 12:34Speaker 8: So babies are born with like two hundred and seventy
- 12:36Speaker 8: five to three hundred bones, and then as you grow
- 12:38Speaker 8: into an adult, they fuse into like one big bone.
- 12:41Speaker 2: So one big bone, you have two hundred and six bones,
- 12:48Speaker 2: but they fuse into larger bone.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I also know the baby's bones are like a little
- 12:51Speaker 3: more like soft and bendy.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, that is crazy to think that, you know,
- 12:58Speaker 5: a baby with a soft head has all those bones.
- 13:01Speaker 7: Has three hundred bones.
- 13:02Speaker 4: That's wild.
- 13:03Speaker 7: And there's your fact of the day.
- 13:04Speaker 1: One Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 13:08Speaker 5: You've been talking about our river on the Rooftop Alumni
- 13:10Speaker 5: Pass for what feels like forever at this point.
- 13:13Speaker 4: This is to just.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Hold you over before our big announcement of this year's
- 13:17Speaker 5: river on the rooftop.
- 13:18Speaker 4: But we've been telling you you have a chance to
- 13:20Speaker 4: win tickets to go see.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Three alumni, So Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, and Maren Morris
- 13:26Speaker 5: each at their respective shows this year in twenty twenty five.
- 13:29Speaker 4: We have our winner on the line right now.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't know she's the winner quite yet. Let's
- 13:33Speaker 2: just say good morning to Melanie in Nashville.
- 13:36Speaker 3: How are you good?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Melanie?
- 13:39Speaker 5: You sound a little nervous to be on one O
- 13:41Speaker 5: seven five the River? Are you nervous right now?
- 13:43Speaker 4: A little?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Why? I don't know.
- 13:47Speaker 7: I mean it is very early.
- 13:48Speaker 4: So very early.
- 13:50Speaker 5: And also I mean, do you have any idea on
- 13:53Speaker 5: why we would be calling you to talk to you Melanie?
- 13:56Speaker 3: For the River on the rooftop giveaway the alumni? Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 3: you entered to win that thing.
- 14:01Speaker 2: That's tickets to see Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Maren Morris.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Of the three of them, who would you say you'd
- 14:07Speaker 2: be most excited to see Sabrina?
- 14:10Speaker 7: Good Shoe? I figured that would be your answer, Melanie.
- 14:12Speaker 5: How many times did you submit yourself to win? I'm
- 14:15Speaker 5: not sure more than you can even count. Yeah, okay, well, Melanie,
- 14:20Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you right now. However many times it
- 14:23Speaker 5: was that you submitted to yourself.
- 14:24Speaker 3: It wasn't enough.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I'm so sure enough, Keevin, it paid off.
- 14:28Speaker 5: You are our winner of our River on the Rooftop alumnies.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That's what I like to hear.
- 14:34Speaker 7: Melanie.

- 14:52Speaker 2: We've got that big announcement coming at eight o'clock, just
- 14:54Speaker 2: after eight o'clock.

- 15:08Speaker 2: start a Monday.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Hang out.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Okay, okay, all right, we do get to tell you
- 15:12Speaker 5: a little bit about River on the Rooftop.
- 15:14Speaker 4: This year at eight am.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Eight o'clock on the Dot. Well not on the dot.
- 15:19Speaker 7: Maybe a little may just be.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Here as it might come up a few minutes past,
- 15:24Speaker 2: but be here.
- 15:25Speaker 1: At a Ricky Zach and Men in the morning.
- 15:29Speaker 5: You got a new game for you to play this
- 15:30Speaker 5: week for Kevin Manno's Game of the Day, presented by

- 15:36Speaker 5: win VIP passes to our river on the rooftop. That
- 15:40Speaker 5: means that you have guaranteed entry and access to our
- 15:43Speaker 5: VIP deck above the stage. Because this is a free show,
- 15:45Speaker 5: everyone is welcome to come to the show. We always
- 15:48Speaker 5: make them free for you for our community. But this
- 15:51Speaker 5: just means you don't got to wait in line that
- 15:53Speaker 5: long and you get to like kind of hover over
- 15:55Speaker 5: everybody else.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And again, we're making the announcement at eight o'clock, so
- 15:59Speaker 2: you're getting these VIP passes before you even know who's playing.
- 16:02Speaker 2: You're gonna get the very first pair of tickets into
- 16:04Speaker 2: the thing. It's it's really very exciting right now. And
- 16:07Speaker 2: this week it's a summer showdown.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Oh my god, I need.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Two people going head to head six one five, seven,
- 16:16Speaker 2: three seven, nine, one oh seven. It is a summer showdown,
- 16:19Speaker 2: so some questions, trivia questions about summer related things. Okay,
- 16:24Speaker 2: if you win again, these VIP passes are yours.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Two people head to head. Let's go say it again
- 16:28Speaker 3: one more time. It's a summer showdown.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Next down the River one seven, Ricky, Zach and Meno
- 16:38Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 16:39Speaker 3: We are so.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Excited at one oh seven five the River because today's
- 16:42Speaker 5: the day that we announced River on the Rooftop and
- 16:45Speaker 5: to celebrate that, Kevin Manno's Game of the Day prize
- 16:48Speaker 5: is VIP passes. That means that you have guaranteed entry
- 16:52Speaker 5: and access to a VIP deck above the stage four
- 16:55Speaker 5: River on the rooftop.
- 16:56Speaker 4: We're doing this before you even know who's there. Yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 4: but this is a big deal.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I'm genuinely so excited. Me Tore, this is awesome.
- 17:01Speaker 2: So we're having a summer showdown. That's the game this week.
- 17:04Speaker 2: So we've got two contestants out on the line here. First,
- 17:06Speaker 2: let's say good morning to Stephanie and Murphy's Borough. Hi Stephanie, Hi,
- 17:10Speaker 2: good morning, I'm good morning. How are you feeling, I'm good, good,
- 17:14Speaker 2: good good. Welcome to the show. And Jennifer, also in
- 17:16Speaker 2: Murphy's Burrow, how are you good? How are you no
- 17:20Speaker 2: complaints over here? Like we said, it's a very exciting day.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So only one of you can win these VIP passes.
- 17:26Speaker 2: But again, River on the rooftop free to everybody, so
- 17:28Speaker 2: you can both obviously come and enjoy the show.
- 17:30Speaker 5: All right, So you guys are gonna have to shout
- 17:31Speaker 5: out your names, yeah, before you actually answer the question.
- 17:36Speaker 2: That's how these showdowns work. Yes, you're gonna buzz in
- 17:39Speaker 2: with your name. So if you know the answer, Stephanie,
- 17:41Speaker 2: you shout Stephanie, and Jennifer you shout Jennifer and uh.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Because we're so excited about this, we're gonna make it.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Three out of five. You gotta get three out of
- 17:49Speaker 3: five right to win the tickets.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, all right, the game starts right now,
- 17:56Speaker 2: starting with kind of a tough one. It's no walking
- 17:58Speaker 2: the park to get these VIP passes. What does SPF
- 18:01Speaker 2: stand for? Jennifer, Jennifer.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Sunscreen.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna stop you there. It's not that, it's not
- 18:11Speaker 2: it's not sunscreen. Stephanie, do you want to steal or
- 18:15Speaker 2: do we just move on to the next one. I
- 18:18Speaker 2: have no idea. Okay, maybe it was a little too tough.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It's sun protection factor. Just so everybody knows. Okay, here
- 18:27Speaker 2: we go, question number two. Shout out your name if
- 18:29Speaker 2: you know the answer. What Disney character sang a humorous
- 18:31Speaker 2: song about all the things he plans on doing in
- 18:33Speaker 2: the summer.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Jennifer Jennifer Jennifer correct, alright, nice, Ricky, can you keep score.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna get Jennifer's on the board every summer.
- 18:46Speaker 2: What music festival takes place in Chicago's Grant Park.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Jennifer Jennifer. Today, Jen's got to coome on, Stephanie, wake up?
- 19:02Speaker 3: What musical features the song Summer Nights? Jennifer Jennifer.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah, run the rooftop with these VIP passes, Stephanie. This
- 19:17Speaker 2: is where we say goodbye to you. Thank you so
- 19:18Speaker 2: much for listening and calling and playing. You can still
- 19:20Speaker 2: come out to the show.
- 19:21Speaker 3: It's free for everyone.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I'm very excited.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Just after eight o'clock, Good morning friends, Thank you for
- 19:29Speaker 2: being here. On the other side of three things, we
- 19:31Speaker 2: are going to make our big river on the rooftop announcement.
- 19:33Speaker 3: But first, Ricky's got those three things.
- 19:36Speaker 5: Lewis Capaldi's surprise Glastonbury festivalgoers.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Over the weekend.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Glastonbury was where Lewis Capaldi had his last public performance.
- 19:44Speaker 5: You probably remember this, but two years ago he had
- 19:46Speaker 5: a panic attack and it kind of cut his show
- 19:50Speaker 5: short and the entire crowd ended up singing with him.
- 19:54Speaker 4: It was a very beautiful.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Moment, incredible moment.
- 19:56Speaker 5: If you watched it, I'm sure you cried. I cry
- 19:59Speaker 5: every time I see it. Lewis took a mental health
- 20:01Speaker 5: hiatus and kind of left the music scene for a
- 20:04Speaker 5: little while to work on to himself and you know,
- 20:08Speaker 5: with Tourette syndrome, kind of figure out a way to
- 20:10Speaker 5: make sure.
- 20:10Speaker 4: That he feels good, which totally makes sense.
- 20:13Speaker 5: But now he's back. He surprised the crowd to finish
- 20:16Speaker 5: what he couldn't last time. He's saying someone you Loved,
- 20:19Speaker 5: as well as his new single Survive. He also announced
- 20:22Speaker 5: some tour dates in the UK, Ireland in Europe. No
- 20:25Speaker 5: US dates have been announced yet, though, unfortunately, if he.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Does announce them, I will obviously let you know.
- 20:32Speaker 5: This is wild, but apparently Paul Walker's Brian O'Connor's character
- 20:38Speaker 5: is going to be in the new Fast and Furious movie,
- 20:40Speaker 5: So Paul Walker played Brian O'Connor in the first five
- 20:44Speaker 5: or six of the Fast and Furious movies before tragically
- 20:47Speaker 5: passing away in a car crash in twenty thirteen. The
- 20:50Speaker 5: movies took on the plotline that his character had retired
- 20:53Speaker 5: from racing, meaning that.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Brian is still alive in Fast and Furious.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Now, Ben Diesel says he's coming back for the final film,
- 20:59Speaker 5: which is going to be set in la just like
- 21:01Speaker 5: the first one was. The idea is that they'll use
- 21:03Speaker 5: CGI and his brothers to continue his legacy to wrap
- 21:07Speaker 5: up the franchise. The eleventh installment of Fast and Furious
- 21:10Speaker 5: is going to hit theaters April twenty twenty seven, which
- 21:13Speaker 5: is crazy to think.
- 21:14Speaker 4: That it's actually wrapping up.
- 21:16Speaker 5: I feel like my entire life has been Fast Furious movies, I.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Know, right.
- 21:22Speaker 4: And then they're going to make a comeback at some point.
- 21:24Speaker 5: And NASA astronaut Barry Wilmore has been honored in Mount Juliet.
- 21:29Speaker 5: The city officially named a portion of North Mount Juliet
- 21:32Speaker 5: Road after him. They had a celebration on Saturday to
- 21:34Speaker 5: commemorate the moment. Barry Wilmore was part of the unexpected
- 21:38Speaker 5: nine month trip into space It was originally only supposed.
- 21:40Speaker 4: To be ten days but ended up being nine months.
- 21:43Speaker 5: He is a local, so they celebrated him in Mount
- 21:47Speaker 5: Juliet and I think that is so sweet.
- 21:48Speaker 4: They said that he took pictures with every single person
- 21:50Speaker 4: that else.
- 21:51Speaker 5: I love that, Amrichy Sanchez. And those are the three
- 21:53Speaker 5: things you need to know.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Thank you time. Here we go all the time.
- 21:57Speaker 4: I'm so excited. I'm so excited. We are going to
- 22:00Speaker 4: tell you who's playing River on the rooftop this year.
- 22:02Speaker 2: We've got one big name to say right now. That's
- 22:04Speaker 2: all the needs to be said. There's more information coming soon.
- 22:07Speaker 3: But Ricky, if you want to do the honors, and
- 22:10Speaker 3: then I'll hit.
- 22:11Speaker 2: This, we'll hear a bit of this musician song. One
- 22:15Speaker 2: of the songs.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Lewis Capaldi is our headliner.
- 22:20Speaker 2: In enough and for that whole story about him disappearing
- 22:24Speaker 2: for two years coming back to Glastonbury. He hasn't announced
- 22:27Speaker 2: anything in the US for him. This is it playing
- 22:31Speaker 2: our free show for us guys.
- 22:36Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I've never been this excited.
- 22:39Speaker 4: This is a really hard secret to keep.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, he's gonna be out there with a
- 22:44Speaker 2: skydeck on Broadway. Thursday, July tenth, calendar. Yeah, doors open
- 22:49Speaker 2: at five point thirty. There's gonna be a line, so
- 22:51Speaker 2: get there. The show starts at seven o'clock. There will
- 22:53Speaker 2: be more people on the bill with him. But right now,
- 22:54Speaker 2: all you need to know Lewis Capaldi and.
- 22:57Speaker 4: The other thing you need to know.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Like we keep saying, but I want to reiterate this,
- 23:01Speaker 5: it is a free show, entirely free. We do this
- 23:04Speaker 5: for you, for the community, because we love you so much.
- 23:07Speaker 5: This is a free show to see Lewis Capaldi. We
- 23:09Speaker 5: don't even know if you're going to be able to
- 23:10Speaker 5: see him in the US after this, but either way,
- 23:13Speaker 5: it's freaking free to see freaking Lewis Capaldi.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Like what his big return is making global headlines right now,
- 23:21Speaker 2: he has not announced anything in the US.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Ry We just made the announcement.
- 23:25Speaker 5: This is it.
- 23:25Speaker 2: He is coming to the US. He's playing our show
- 23:28Speaker 2: for free July tenth.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I am gonna cry at the show though, just beware
- 23:32Speaker 4: of that.
- 23:33Speaker 5: But if you see me crying, yeah, no, you didn't
- 23:35Speaker 5: leave me alone.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I'm so excited about this. I can't wait till Ricky's
- 23:39Speaker 3: crying out there. It's gonna be the best.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Let's play his new songs survive here and there you go.
- 23:43Speaker 2: There's the announcement Lewis Capaldi doing River on the rooftop.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I'm so pumped on.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning the River.
- 23:51Speaker 5: I apparently messed up because I said to happy birthday
- 23:56Speaker 5: text in our group chat with me, Kevin and Zach,
- 24:00Speaker 5: to wish Kevin a happy birthday, and apparently that's frowned upon.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Now that we've been talking about it.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I think that I actually don't mind the group birthday
- 24:08Speaker 2: text because let's say my wife and I one of
- 24:10Speaker 2: our friends it's their birthday. If she sends a group
- 24:12Speaker 2: text saying happy birthday, I feel like I'm off the
- 24:14Speaker 2: hook and I don't have to do anything she's speaking.
- 24:16Speaker 3: You'll have to She's speaking on behalf of the Mano family.
- 24:19Speaker 7: So it's covered, I don't think.
- 24:21Speaker 5: So that got real mad at me about the fact
- 24:23Speaker 5: that I sent it in the group chat.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I was so annoyed.
- 24:25Speaker 4: You were real annoyed.
- 24:26Speaker 5: And then the entire table of all the people that
- 24:28Speaker 5: we were with was like, yeah, dude, what.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Is that about. And I realized that this was a
- 24:31Speaker 4: bad move.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I thought it was totally normal.
- 24:34Speaker 4: So I googled it.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Just now too, because I was like, let's see what
- 24:36Speaker 5: people have to say on Google. Apparently direct messages are
- 24:39Speaker 5: the preferred way to do a happy birthday.
- 24:42Speaker 3: One on one.
- 24:43Speaker 4: So I messed up.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Maybe I just I don't really get group chat etiquette
- 24:47Speaker 5: to begin with.
- 24:48Speaker 4: I I'm being honest.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Do you have any more tips or any group chat
- 24:52Speaker 2: There's a lot of things.
- 24:53Speaker 5: That I don't agree with, Like, there's a lot of
- 24:56Speaker 5: it says avoid spamming in group check in group check,
- 25:00Speaker 5: but I feel like that's all group chats are is spamming.
- 25:02Speaker 4: It's a bunch of people messaging.
- 25:04Speaker 5: At the same time, it says acknowledging messages even if
- 25:08Speaker 5: you don't have a detailed response immediately. No, I'm not
- 25:11Speaker 5: responding until I'm ready to respond. That doesn't make any sense.
- 25:15Speaker 5: This one is the only one I think I agree
- 25:17Speaker 5: with upon everything I've seen, which is introductions.
- 25:19Speaker 4: If you're joining a new group, you have to introduce yourself.
- 25:22Speaker 7: Yeah, that makes sense sure, because even if.
- 25:23Speaker 4: You think everybody has your number, you don't know that
- 25:25Speaker 4: they do, and then they don't know who you are.
- 25:26Speaker 3: What are Where do we stand on opting out of
- 25:29Speaker 3: a group.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Ooh, Kevin, Hey, we have.
- 25:32Speaker 3: One here at work with like probably four other people.
- 25:34Speaker 2: It's us and probably four others, and I have it
- 25:37Speaker 2: on silent because once you guys get going, my lord,
- 25:40Speaker 2: I'll look at my phone be like, fifty four miss texts.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'm like, huh, I'm not gonna get caught up.
- 25:45Speaker 3: On all this.
- 25:45Speaker 5: I think it's really that there should be limits to
- 25:47Speaker 5: the amount of people that are in a group text.
- 25:49Speaker 7: I think so too, because then.
- 25:50Speaker 4: It just gets out of control.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I think if it's more than five people, you've lost
- 25:54Speaker 5: the plot.
- 25:55Speaker 3: It's a lot.
- 25:55Speaker 8: The other thing that drives me absolutely insane is like,
- 25:58Speaker 8: in a group text, it's just two people are having
- 26:00Speaker 8: the conversation. Just text them separately. Yeah, Like, why are
- 26:04Speaker 8: you just just the two of you texting in the
- 26:07Speaker 8: group chat?
- 26:07Speaker 3: Why it's an ab conversation. Yeah, I'll see myself out please.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Well, I learned a valuable lesson this weekend, is the
- 26:15Speaker 5: bottom line, and I hope you did through my mistake.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Don't send happy birthday text in group chats. It's frowned
- 26:20Speaker 5: upon by everyone.
- 26:21Speaker 8: Very rude.
- 26:22Speaker 2: If you'd like to weigh in six one, five, seven, three, seven,
- 26:25Speaker 2: nine seven five, ky Zach, and that's say good morning
- 26:30Speaker 2: to Mandy. Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Do you have an opinion on.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Group text etiquette?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Ricky wished me a happy birthday and in a group text,
- 26:37Speaker 2: and nobody liked that.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Well what happy blated bersad by the way, and I
- 26:43Speaker 6: do because I feel like in a group chat, if
- 26:46Speaker 6: someone wishes a happy birthday and nobody else realized that
- 26:49Speaker 6: it was your birthday, then they can also wish you
- 26:52Speaker 6: a happy birthday if they didn't know, and now they do.
- 26:55Speaker 2: What if they did know, but now it seems like
- 26:57Speaker 2: they're only wishing you a happy birthday because you know
- 26:59Speaker 2: the first person did.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Well, I mean at least they're still wishing you a
- 27:03Speaker 6: happy birthday. Then you still feel good about.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Yourself, right. See.
- 27:06Speaker 5: I'm with Mandy because at that point, even if they
- 27:09Speaker 5: feel bad because they're like, oh I actually knew about that,
- 27:12Speaker 5: they were.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Gonna think I didn't, you still said happy birthday. At
- 27:14Speaker 4: the end of today.
- 27:16Speaker 2: At the end of the day, I was annoyed by
- 27:18Speaker 2: how many texts I had to respond to.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I'm so sorry you have friends.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I went to see f one last night.
- 27:25Speaker 2: It's a long movie, and I could just feel my
- 27:27Speaker 2: phone vibrating the whole time, and I was like, I know,
- 27:30Speaker 2: but it.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Was it was just too much.
- 27:32Speaker 6: But at least at least you could answer one thank
- 27:35Speaker 6: you everybody in the group chat as a pussy individual methday, I.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Think maybe we just need one full group chat of
- 27:43Speaker 5: all of your friends and family and everybody who just
- 27:46Speaker 5: said you happy birthday at the same time.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Now we're on, it's kind of like that, all right, Mandy,
- 27:52Speaker 2: thank you for your input here all right, Thanks guys, Reiki,
- 27:58Speaker 2: Zach and five the River.
- 28:00Speaker 3: It's the Daily Double Tap.
- 28:02Speaker 2: There is a new Smurfs movie coming out to and
- 28:04Speaker 2: Rihanna is one of the voices. Yeah, she is, and
- 28:07Speaker 2: that is the uh, the topic of today's Daily Double Tap.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Well, because is it Smurfs or should it be Smurfs?
- 28:14Speaker 8: I don't like the way you said that Smurvs serves here.
- 28:18Speaker 6: We are here.
- 28:19Speaker 7: Do you say what you said again?
- 28:20Speaker 8: I said I didn't really like Rihanna's song for the
- 28:22Speaker 8: new Smurfs movie.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Are you saying it like that?
- 28:26Speaker 4: That's how you say her name. I saw the name
- 28:28Speaker 4: of the movie, the Smurvs. The what the Smurvs it's smurfs.
- 28:33Speaker 8: No, singularly it's a smurf, but a group of them
- 28:36Speaker 8: are smurfs.
- 28:37Speaker 4: They are not called smurvs.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Are you being serious? Are you being serious?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Okay, leaf leaves, wolf wolves, Smurf, Smurvs, Okay.
