- 0:14Hello, hello, welcome back to Just Be True, a
- 0:17soul -led podcast. I'm Summer and today is a
- 0:21special episode because we are closing out season
- 0:24one. This season has been such a beautiful unfolding
- 0:28because not every topic has been easy, not because
- 0:32every conversation has been light, but because
- 0:35each episode has carried us deeper into what
- 0:39it. truly means to return home to ourselves,
- 0:44to release old roles, to soften the survival
- 0:47patterns, to honor grief, to trust the quiet
- 0:50and to choose the calm, and to become grounded
- 0:54and to remember that our intuition is not something
- 0:59we have to chase. And as I look back over this
- 1:04first season, I can feel the thread that has
- 1:08been weaving through every episode. You know,
- 1:11because this podcast was born from a deep desire
- 1:15to live authentically, to strip away the mask
- 1:18and the expectations and the old stories, and
- 1:22to remember who we truly are beneath all of the
- 1:25roles that we've played, all of the seasons that
- 1:28we've survived, all of the identities we thought
- 1:32we had to become in order to be loved, accepted,
- 1:36safe, or successful. So this season has wrapped
- 1:41all of that up into a beautiful, beautiful ending.
- 1:49So I say welcome back to Just Be True, a soul
- 1:52-led podcast. Again, I am Summer, and for more
- 1:56than a decade, I've helped hundreds of women
- 1:59navigate deeply transformative life experiences,
- 2:03such as career transitions. grief, healing through
- 2:07major life changes like divorce and loss, and
- 2:10by reconnecting with their inner voice and spiritual
- 2:13awareness. Through energy healing, meditations,
- 2:20intuitive practices, and spiritual teachings,
- 2:23I support them in realigning with their truth,
- 2:27rebuilding their confidence, and learning to
- 2:29trust themselves in a whole new way. And today,
- 2:33We're wrapping up season one and revisiting how
- 2:36this season's season has honored our returning
- 2:40home to ourselves. In so many ways, season one
- 2:46has all been asking the question, who are you
- 2:49when you stop trying to be who you thought you
- 2:53had to be? So who you are when you're no longer
- 3:00having to hold everything together. Who are you
- 3:03when life gets quiet? When grief changes you?
- 3:09Or when calm begins to feel like home? Who are
- 3:14you when your intuition is no longer something
- 3:17outside of you, but something already moving
- 3:20through you? And maybe the answer is not something
- 3:24we arrive at all at once. Because coming home
- 3:29to yourself is not one dramatic movement of clarity.
- 3:35It can be a series of gentle returns. It can
- 3:38be a breath, a pause, a choice, a moment of honesty,
- 3:46a willingness to stop abandoning yourself in
- 3:50order to keep up with the version of life that
- 3:53no longer fits you. In episode one, we began
- 3:58to release the identity of the fixer and the
- 4:01doer. We explored the tender question, who are
- 4:05you when you no longer need to hold everything
- 4:08together? And for many of us, being the capable
- 4:12one became a survival strategy. We learned to
- 4:16anticipate needs. We managed emotional temperatures
- 4:20in the room. We figured things out. We stay useful,
- 4:26and we keep going. And for a while, that identity
- 4:30may have protected us. It may have helped us
- 4:34feel safe, feel needed, helped us belong. But
- 4:37eventually, what once protected us began to limit
- 4:42us. And there comes a time when our soul starts
- 4:47whispering, you don't have to carry all of this
- 4:50anymore. You don't have to prove your value through
- 4:54exhaustion, and you don't have to earn your place
- 4:58to be everything for everyone else. You don't
- 5:04have to earn that. And that can feel extremely
- 5:10unsettling because if you're not fixing, if you're
- 5:13not doing, if you're not holding it all together,
- 5:17then who are you? And that's the question. You
- 5:21know, it's not a punishment. It's a question.
- 5:23You should explore and dive deeper into It is
- 5:28an opening it is a beginning to meet yourself
- 5:30beyond the roles that have been put on you Beyond
- 5:36the over functioning the Beyond the responsibility
- 5:41Beyond the emotional labor Beyond the version
- 5:45of you who learn how to how to survive by being
- 5:50needed. And what we began to see in this episode
- 5:55is that your worth is never tied to your output.
- 6:00Your value is never dependent on how much you
- 6:03carry. And you are not here to be an infrastructure
- 6:07for everyone else's life. You are here to be
- 6:11living a breathing expression of your own soul.
- 6:16And that is an amazing acknowledgement. Then
- 6:23in episode two, we moved into what happens after
- 6:27survival mode. So that strange, quiet place where
- 6:31nothing is necessarily wrong, but everything
- 6:34feels different. This is the part of healing
- 6:37and transformation that we don't always talk
- 6:39about. Because when we spent years being on,
- 6:44years responding, managing, pushing through anticipation
- 6:47and performing through strength, calm doesn't
- 6:50always feel peaceful at first. Sometimes calm
- 6:54can feel extremely unfamiliar. Sometimes that
- 6:58stillness feels like something is missing. And
- 7:01sometimes your body doesn't know what to do when
- 7:04there's no crisis to solve. And that does not
- 7:09mean that you are failing or falling apart or
- 7:13off. It simply means that your nervous system
- 7:16is learning something new. It means your identity
- 7:21is loosening its grip on who you had to be so
- 7:26you can begin to discover who you are without
- 7:29bracing. And that space can feel very messy.
- 7:34It's less driven, less urgent, less defined.
- 7:38But that doesn't mean you're lost. It means that
- 7:42you are integrating. It means that your system
- 7:44is reorganizing around safety instead of pressure.
- 7:48And that kind of transition takes gentleness.
- 7:51It takes patience. It takes learning to say,
- 7:55nothing is wrong. I'm not falling apart. I'm
- 8:00learning how to live without bracing. And that
- 8:04can be extremely freeing in a world that can
- 8:10put so much pressure on us externally. So then
- 8:16in episode three, we talked about grief. We all
- 8:20go through grief in some point in our life. So
- 8:24grief is not only about losing someone we love,
- 8:27the grief... Grief can be losing a season, a
- 8:30role, an identity, a version of life that we
- 8:34once understood. Because grief is not only about
- 8:37death. Grief is about change. And it's about
- 8:41the ache that comes when something familiar is
- 8:45no longer available the same way. And it's sometimes
- 8:49even the change. is aligned even when we know
- 8:54something new is forming there can still be a
- 8:58sadness for what was and both can be true. You
- 9:04can be grateful for the new chapter and still
- 9:06miss the old one. I mean I do quite often and
- 9:11you know sometimes when you know something is
- 9:14right and still grieve what it cost you and to
- 9:21be expanding can still feel very tender. This
- 9:26is something I've come to understand deeply in
- 9:29the last year. So when life changes, we don't
- 9:32only move forward, we also have to allow ourselves
- 9:36the honor to honor what we're leaving behind.
- 9:41the structure, the familiarity, the version of
- 9:45ourselves that knew how to operate in the old
- 9:48ways. And sometimes the grief is because we want
- 9:52that life back. Sometimes we grieve the familiar.
- 9:57And there's also a grief in releasing who we
- 10:00once were, you know. the survival, the one who
- 10:05hustled, the one who stayed small and safe to
- 10:09stay safe, the one who held everything together
- 10:13and the one who never needed help. And because,
- 10:19you know, when we're becoming who we are and
- 10:25we're being asked to release identities that
- 10:28once gave us shape, that kind of release. can
- 10:32feel destabilizing, but it is deeply freeing
- 10:36because you're not losing yourself. You're expanding
- 10:40beyond one single role. You meet the version
- 10:45of you that exists outside of being needed, outside
- 10:50of being productive, outside of being required.
- 10:54And that version of you is still worthy and something
- 10:58that you can honor. with great pride then in
- 11:06episode four we explored the quiet seasons you
- 11:11know those times when your intuition feels quieter
- 11:14your clarity feels softer your connections feel
- 11:18less active your inner world feels less defined
- 11:22And for those of us who are on a spiritual or
- 11:26intuitive path, that can feel confusing because
- 11:29we may wonder, am I disconnected? Am I losing
- 11:33something here? Why can't I feel things the way
- 11:36I used to? But those quiet seasons are not a
- 11:40disconnection. Sometimes they're simply a recalibration.
- 11:45Sometimes your energy is adjusting, your awareness
- 11:48is deepening and your nervous system is stabilizing
- 11:52to hold more. And that quiet is not empty, by
- 11:57no means is far from it. It is where something
- 12:02sacred is taking shape beneath the surface. It
- 12:07is where your intuition becomes more grounded,
- 12:11more discerned and it strengthens. where your
- 12:16gifts become less about intensity and more about
- 12:20embodiment. And that's important because we're
- 12:25not meant to chase spiritual highs forever. We're
- 12:30meant to integrate what has opened. We're meant
- 12:33to become more steady enough to live in what
- 12:38we know. So if you're in a quiet season, maybe
- 12:42nothing's taken from you at all. Maybe something
- 12:46within you is becoming more refined. And maybe
- 12:50the quiet is not the absence of connection. Maybe
- 12:55it's the part where your connection is learning
- 12:58how to become a part of who you are. And that
- 13:04is truly an awakening. Then in episode five,
- 13:10We talked about the safety as a spiritual mind
- 13:14stone, choosing calm as a sign of growth. This
- 13:21was such an important piece of the season because
- 13:24many people think spiritual growth should always
- 13:27feel expansive, emotional, intense, or dramatic.
- 13:31But sometimes to clear a sign of growth is calm.
- 13:37The moment when you're no longer reaching the
- 13:40same way, when you can stay present, when peace
- 13:46no longer feels like something you have to leave.
- 13:52And for many of us, that calm could feel unfamiliar
- 13:55at first. And we may wonder, is this enough?
- 14:00Am I missing something? Shouldn't I be doing
- 14:04more? Shouldn't I be feeling more? But calm is
- 14:10not just a pause in your growth. Calm can be
- 14:14evidence of it. It is your nervous system learning
- 14:18that it is safe to be here. Safe to receive,
- 14:23safe to rest, safe to exist without striving,
- 14:28safe to be connected without the intensity. And
- 14:32this is a huge milestone. Because true intuitive
- 14:38and spiritual expansion is not only about opening.
- 14:44It's about anchoring what has opened within you.
- 14:49It's about becoming someone who can hold clarity,
- 14:52not just access it. Someone who can remain grounded
- 14:56in their knowing without needing constant confirmation.
- 15:01And someone who can trust peace when it arrives.
- 15:06And it truly changes your whole presence in life
- 15:13all the way around. Sorry. So episode six, we
- 15:22move into grounding. Oh, and I love this episode
- 15:27because grounding became more than just a technique.
- 15:32So it became a way of understanding what it means
- 15:36to fully be here because in spiritual spaces,
- 15:42there can be this tendency to want to stay elevated,
- 15:46to stay up there, to stay in expansion, to stay
- 15:50in the mystical, the energetic, and the unseen.
- 15:54And there is a beauty in that. There absolutely
- 15:57is. but we're not here to float above the human
- 16:01experience. We are here to bring awareness into
- 16:07the soul, into our body. Grounding is not about
- 16:12becoming less spiritual. It is about becoming
- 16:15more embodied. And I absolutely love this. It's
- 16:21about allowing your intuition, your healing,
- 16:24your awareness and your connection to move through
- 16:28the lived experience. Through your choices, your
- 16:32breath, relationships, your creativity and your
- 16:36work and your presence. So grounding reminds
- 16:41us that we do not have to choose between being
- 16:44spiritually connected and fully human. were meant
- 16:47to be both. And sometimes grounding is simply
- 16:52as noticing it in your body, like taking a breath,
- 16:56stepping outside, sipping some tea, journaling,
- 17:01moving slowly, letting your energy settle back
- 17:05into yourself. Not forcing yourself to be grounded,
- 17:10but returning again and again. And truly when
- 17:17you can allow yourself to fully embody both the
- 17:22spiritual aspects, your gifts, being grounded
- 17:25and having it all within is truly magical and
- 17:30it changes the way you exist day to day. And
- 17:36then in episode seven we talked about intuition.
- 17:41You don't have to chase your intuition. And in
- 17:44this episode, it brought so much of the season
- 17:47together. Because after releasing the fixer,
- 17:51after understanding the survival mode, after
- 17:54honoring grief, trusting the quiet and choosing
- 17:58the calm, and grounding into our bodies, we arrive
- 18:03at a different relationship with intuition. One
- 18:07that is not based on chasing. not based on proving
- 18:10or forcing clarity or trying to make intuition
- 18:14louder. Instead, intuition became something that
- 18:19we notice, something we create space for, something
- 18:23that is already in relationship with and within
- 18:27us. And I shared that the imagination or the
- 18:34image of intuition as a gentle stream flowing
- 18:38through the landscape of our consciousness. It
- 18:42doesn't demand attention. It doesn't force you
- 18:46to follow it. It doesn't compete with the noise.
- 18:52It quietly nourishes the soul of your being.
- 18:56And maybe this part is what makes intuition so
- 19:00sacred. It's not separate from you or somewhere
- 19:03far away It's already part of the terrain within
- 19:07you. It's already a part of all of this And that
- 19:14brings us here today the final episode Episode
- 19:188 of season 1 coming home to yourself Because
- 19:25I never looked You know, when I look back over
- 19:28the season, I can see that every conversation
- 19:32was really an invitation to return, to return
- 19:37to your body, your truth, your softness, your
- 19:40knowing, to your ability to feel, to rest, and
- 19:46the ability to trust yourself again. This is
- 19:49not just a podcast theme for me. This is my life.
- 19:54This is the work that I am living. This is the
- 19:57work that I am building. And in the last year,
- 20:01I left a version of success that I truly understood.
- 20:06For years, success looked like stability, a career,
- 20:11a title, benefits, seniority, a steady income,
- 20:16a system I knew how to move within and move through.
- 20:22And then life shifted. And what I've come to
- 20:27understand is that something the soul begins
- 20:29calling us for before the mind has proof of.
- 20:35Sometimes our soul knows what we're supposed
- 20:37to be doing and it starts leading us in that
- 20:40direction. And our mindset, our mental capacity
- 20:46may not have proof of it yet. Sometimes we are
- 20:51guided into a new chapter before every piece
- 20:54makes sense. Sometimes we're asked to trust the
- 20:59next step without being handed in the entire
- 21:02roadmap of knowing exactly where the steps are
- 21:05going to lead us or what the end result is going
- 21:08to be. And that's been my journey here with Just
- 21:12Be True. It's not just a business, it's not just
- 21:16a podcast, it's not just a collection of services
- 21:19or offerings, it's a space. A space for women
- 21:24moving through change, a space of people remembering
- 21:28who they are, and a space for those of us who
- 21:33are awakening, healing, and grieving. softening,
- 21:38rebuilding, and learning to trust ourselves in
- 21:41a whole new way. And for more than anything,
- 21:45this is becoming a community. Because one of
- 21:50the things that I know deeply is that we're not
- 21:53here to walk through this transformation in isolation.
- 21:57Yes, the inner work is extremely personal. Yes,
- 22:01there are parts of the journey that no one else
- 22:03can do but you. But we still need safe spaces.
- 22:10We still need reflection. We still need connection.
- 22:14We still need places where we can exhale and
- 22:18say, this is where I am. This is what I'm feeling.
- 22:26And this is what is changing me. And have someone
- 22:31respond with, that makes sense. You're not alone.
- 22:37You're okay, and it's going to be okay, and there
- 22:42is space for you here. This is part of what Just
- 22:48Be True is here to become, is here to become
- 22:52a place where spiritual growth feels grounded,
- 22:56where intuitive development feels safe, where
- 23:00healing does not mean fixing yourself. Where
- 23:06you do not have to perform to be strong. Where
- 23:14you do not have to have all the answers. You
- 23:18can be in the middle. You can be in development.
- 23:21You can be in your becoming. This is where you
- 23:26can be held in the process of remembering who
- 23:29you are. And maybe that's a deeper message for
- 23:32season one. You don't have to force the becoming.
- 23:37You don't have to chase the clarity. You don't
- 23:40have to rush the healing. You don't have to prove
- 23:43the growth. You don't have to hold everything
- 23:46together in order to be worthy of love, support,
- 23:49or belonging. You are allowed to soften. You
- 23:55are allowed to change. You are allowed to grieve
- 23:59what was. And you are allowed to trust the quiet
- 24:03seasons. You are allowed to choose calm, and
- 24:08you are allowed to be grounded and listen inwardly.
- 24:14You are 100 % allowed to build a life that means,
- 24:20that feels true to you and your body, not just
- 24:24the impression of the outside. You no longer
- 24:27have to live to fill the expectations of others.
- 24:34So as we close this season, I want to invite
- 24:38you into a moment of reflection. So if it feels
- 24:43comfortable, place one hand on your heart. Take
- 24:47a slow breath in. Exhale. And ask yourself, what
- 24:59part of me has been asking to be released? What
- 25:08role have I outgrown? What season am I still
- 25:17grieving? Where has calm started to enter in
- 25:25my life? Where am I being invited to stop chasing
- 25:32and start listening? Maybe most importantly,
- 25:39what would it look like to come home to myself
- 25:45in this season? It's not a version of you from
- 25:49five years ago, the one who had to survive, the
- 25:53one who had to prove themselves, not the version
- 25:57of yourself shaped by everyone else's expectations,
- 26:01but the you. The you that is here right now.
- 26:09The you that is emerging. The you that is learning
- 26:13how to live with more honesty, more softness,
- 26:18more trust, and more alignment. Because becoming
- 26:23home to yourself doesn't mean you become perfect.
- 26:27By no means is there perfection in this. It doesn't
- 26:32mean that you never struggle. It doesn't mean
- 26:35that you always feel clear and confident. But
- 26:40what it does mean, it means you stop leaving
- 26:44yourself when things feel uncertain. You learn
- 26:48to stay present in your own becoming. And you
- 26:52honor the quiet. You listen to the body. You
- 26:57trust the nudges. And you always allow yourself
- 27:01to be supported. and you remember that your truth
- 27:06is not something you have to earn. It is something
- 27:11you return to again and again. So as season one
- 27:18comes to a close, thank you so much for being
- 27:22here. Thank you for listening, for reflecting,
- 27:28and for walking through these conversations with
- 27:30me. Thank you for Being willing to explore those
- 27:36tender places, the identity shifts, the grief,
- 27:40the quiet, calm, the grounding intuition in your
- 27:44own becoming. And if the season has resonated
- 27:51with you, I hope you take time to go back and
- 27:54revisit the episodes that spoke to you most.
- 27:58Sometimes we hear something differently when
- 28:00we are in a new place. Sometimes the same message
- 28:04meets us in a deeper way when we're ready. And
- 28:11maybe this season can be something you return
- 28:15to whenever you need a reminder that you're not
- 28:18behind. You're not broken or disconnected. You're
- 28:22becoming. You're creating who you are meant to
- 28:27be. So season two will officially begin on September
- 28:373rd. And between now and then, we'll be revisiting
- 28:41and replaying some of the most popular episodes
- 28:43from season one. So that'll help keep you engaged
- 28:47and connected. So if there was an episode that
- 28:50really spoke to you and one you feel called to
- 28:53hear again for a different reason, different
- 28:57season in your life, then this will be a beautiful
- 29:00opportunity for you to return to those messages
- 29:03with fresh ears and a new level of awareness.
- 29:07And sometimes we receive differently the second
- 29:10time. A phrase may land deeper, a reflection
- 29:15opens up something new, or a message meets us
- 29:18in a way that maybe we weren't ready for the
- 29:22first time. So I invite you to stay connected
- 29:27during the pause between seasons Revisiting the
- 29:30episodes that supported you the most and allow
- 29:33the messages to continue to unfold in your life
- 29:37But for now I want to leave you with this You
- 29:42do not have to become someone else to live a
- 29:45soul -led life Open up and become who you truly
- 29:48are Only thing you're ever asked to do is be
- 29:53true to you. So you can find all of my current
- 30:00offerings, resources, and ways to connect with
- 30:02me in the show notes. Everything is there for
- 30:06you to explore on your own time, in your own
- 30:08way. Only take what resonates with you. You don't
- 30:12need to do it all. You just need to do what feels
- 30:15right. And most importantly, more than anything
- 30:19else, Be true to you and all else will align.
- 30:25Until next time, bye.
