- 0:08Speaker 1: Scrible advice. Welcome to the Not Even Night Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, Rob Shooter. It's Wednesday, which means I do
- 0:19Speaker 1: a friend. Donnie Meetcham joined uys, Hey, Donnie, are you there? Hello? Wednesday.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I know I said every week, but I truly mean it.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I just enjoy seeing your beautiful face and chatting with
- 0:32Speaker 1: you and spilling vis Well, you have marvelous taste. Marvelous taste. Hey,
- 0:35Speaker 1: a little bit of breaking news before we get into
- 0:37Speaker 1: the show. The whole show is really breaking news. But
- 0:39Speaker 1: this has just happened. Buckingham Palace has revealed the date
- 0:43Speaker 1: that they're going to crown the new king. It's going
- 0:46Speaker 1: to be on Saturday May six at Westminster Abbey in London,
- 0:51Speaker 1: where British monarchs had been crowned for the last nine
- 0:54Speaker 1: hundred yards. It was speculated that King Charles his coronation
- 0:59Speaker 1: would be in June wounds, and now the Palace is
- 1:01Speaker 1: saying no, no, no, it's gonna be May, which is
- 1:03Speaker 1: really fast. When Queen Elizabeth became the Queen, it took
- 1:06Speaker 1: over sixteen months before they put the crown on her head.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I know, so is the king, but he can't wear
- 1:11Speaker 1: the crown yet because he's not. He's got a nation.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So Charles, though, is in his seventies. Elizabeth was in
- 1:17Speaker 1: the twenties, so they will like, take your time, let
- 1:20Speaker 1: her grow up a little bit. We don't need to
- 1:21Speaker 1: rush into this. With Charles, we do need to rush
- 1:24Speaker 1: into it. Is in his seventies, moving along. He's been
- 1:27Speaker 1: waiting a long time to get that crowd on his head.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I think I'll go over Donna, if you want to
- 1:31Speaker 1: come with me in definitely have a question for you,
- 1:35Speaker 1: a technical question. So now I think the queen is dead,
- 1:38Speaker 1: So will somebody else get that crown or do they
- 1:41Speaker 1: make new ones? How does that want? The crown that
- 1:44Speaker 1: they used for Queen Elizabeth, which has been around for centuries,
- 1:48Speaker 1: was actually made smaller to fit her head. It's going
- 1:51Speaker 1: to be expanded for Charles. So I don't want to
- 1:54Speaker 1: say it's like, you know, one of those grounds that
- 1:57Speaker 1: has like you know, you can move the sizes and back,
- 2:00Speaker 1: got an elasticated west like it's a real crown, you know.
- 2:05Speaker 1: But they can apparently put extra panels in and stretch it,
- 2:08Speaker 1: so they will measures. I mean, they can't have a
- 2:11Speaker 1: king whose crown doesn't fit, can they? They also to
- 2:15Speaker 1: which is interesting for Queen Elizabeth. He has some very
- 2:18Speaker 1: dramatic arches on top of the crown. They made the
- 2:20Speaker 1: arches a little bit smaller to make it look more feminine.
- 2:23Speaker 1: They wouldn't do that now because we've moved along way
- 2:27Speaker 1: away from what we were seventy years ago. But yet
- 2:30Speaker 1: it's going to be the same crown that his mom wore.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Don't worry, it will fit his head. Good question, Donnie,
- 2:35Speaker 1: let's jump into the show. What time is it? My friends?
- 2:38Speaker 1: It is T dime and Kathee Lee Gifford are at war.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I warned you this was going to happen when her
- 2:46Speaker 1: book came out. So Kelly Ripper's book came out and
- 2:48Speaker 1: she criticized Regis in the book. It was gentle. I've
- 2:52Speaker 1: read the book. It was not too extreme. She said.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It was the hardest chapter for her to write in.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The takeaway was that when she arrived there was a
- 3:00Speaker 1: petty negotiations about her joining. She was angry that really
- 3:04Speaker 1: just didn't really treat her as an equal, but she
- 3:06Speaker 1: understood it. He's a TV legend. She had done soap operas,
- 3:09Speaker 1: but she said that it wasn't easy. So I think
- 3:11Speaker 1: the main point Kelly Ripper was trying to make is
- 3:14Speaker 1: that everybody looks at that show and thinks, oh, they're
- 3:17Speaker 1: so happy, what a blessed live, this is so lovely.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Oh they just got a long right away. She said
- 3:22Speaker 1: they didn't, and that their age gap made it difficult
- 3:26Speaker 1: for them to have much in common, so off the
- 3:28Speaker 1: show they didn't really talk very much. It's quite tricky
- 3:31Speaker 1: because everybody on this show, we're all equal, so we're
- 3:33Speaker 1: all pretty much at the same level of a care
- 3:35Speaker 1: as we're all great gossip columnists. We all have a
- 3:38Speaker 1: different project a little bit brighter, just just a little bit.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But with Kelly, and he was a superstar who'd been
- 3:51Speaker 1: on the show forever. With Kathy Lee, she turned up
- 3:53Speaker 1: and she said it was really difficult and awkward and
- 3:57Speaker 1: it wasn't a bed of roses. Now, obviously, when the
- 4:00Speaker 1: book came out, those were the quotes that all the
- 4:03Speaker 1: press ran with, and they said Kelly was trash in
- 4:06Speaker 1: reads and really angry. She didn't actually quite go that far.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If you read the book, it's gentle, it's not nice.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's not nice, but it's the truth. It's what she's saying.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So she said it was really hard for her to
- 4:18Speaker 1: write about this, but it is the truth. She said
- 4:20Speaker 1: she had to use his hair and makeup people she
- 4:22Speaker 1: wasn't the light her own. And she also said her
- 4:24Speaker 1: name had to be just slightly smaller than his on
- 4:27Speaker 1: the poster or petty stuff, but he was the biggest star,
- 4:31Speaker 1: so I sort of get it. Kathy Lee was in
- 4:33Speaker 1: Israel when those quotes came out, and she saw them
- 4:36Speaker 1: and she was not happy about them. Now, she's done
- 4:39Speaker 1: an interview with our friend Rosanna Scotto on Good Day
- 4:41Speaker 1: New York and she said she was in Israel and
- 4:44Speaker 1: at first she just thought, oh, I hope this isn't true.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I hope this isn't true. What's the point of it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I don't get it. Then she goes on to say
- 4:50Speaker 1: she's not going to read the book. I haven't read it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm not going to read it. I don't even know
- 4:55Speaker 1: if it's out yet. It's out, Kathy Lee, I'll send
- 4:57Speaker 1: you a copy, And she just wants everyone to know there.
- 5:00Speaker 1: For the fifteen years that she worked with Regis, he
- 5:03Speaker 1: was the best partner both professionally and he was also
- 5:06Speaker 1: a dear, dear friend. She said she never ever saw
- 5:09Speaker 1: him be cruel to anybody. Now, I knew redis a
- 5:13Speaker 1: little bit. He liked to rib you a bit. If
- 5:16Speaker 1: he saw you out, he'd always make fun of me
- 5:17Speaker 1: or oh there's that British gossip guy or hybrid like
- 5:20Speaker 1: and I thought it's quite charming. So I don't know
- 5:23Speaker 1: if that's what Kelly is talking about. But Kathy Lee
- 5:27Speaker 1: ended by saying by saying that she's never ever spoken
- 5:31Speaker 1: badly or said ugly things about anybody, and she's not
- 5:34Speaker 1: going to start doing that right now with Rosanna. And
- 5:37Speaker 1: she said, though my reality was completely different than Kelly's drama, Danny,
- 5:44Speaker 1: what do you think it is a drama? Now? Look,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I actually really like Kathy Lee Gifford. I remember growing
- 5:50Speaker 1: up I used to watch Regis and Kathy Lee and
- 5:52Speaker 1: their chemistry was off the charts. You could feel it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I think Regis was a little sad when she left,
- 5:58Speaker 1: a little upset the new girl coming in. Everybody kind
- 6:01Speaker 1: of acts differently or whether it was terrible, but like
- 6:04Speaker 1: you said, Kelly doesn't And the fact that Kathy League
- 6:10Speaker 1: will come out and say, oh, it's ever so wrong,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but I'm not going to read it. You might want
- 6:15Speaker 1: to educate yourself here because how upset can you be
- 6:18Speaker 1: if you're not going to actually read word for word? Now,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I would say I should point out kathe Lee does listen.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I'm told to this podcast lower lower low, kathe Lee,
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't call me if you call Dartie. I didn't say it,
- 6:28Speaker 1: but you have a point, which is why that's Apple
- 6:32Speaker 1: question of the day. Read His former co star caffee
- 6:36Speaker 1: Lee Gifford will not be reading Kelly Ripper's book. A
- 6:39Speaker 1: question is should she read it before commenting? Should she
- 6:42Speaker 1: actually read this before she has anything to say about it?
- 6:46Speaker 1: If I had been her publicist, I might have said
- 6:48Speaker 1: to Kathy Lee, you're gonna be asked about this book.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be asked about readers, and what you can
- 6:52Speaker 1: say is I don't want to comment until I read it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: She didn't want to go that route. She made it
- 6:57Speaker 1: clear she is never reading this book. What are you think?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Should she read it before commenting? Go to at Twitter
- 7:02Speaker 1: page at Nort's room, but on Facebook page is notic
- 7:05Speaker 1: sap and she shake back to my row to hear
- 7:08Speaker 1: your results. Hey, Donny Love, what are you working on?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Legendary actress Gina Davis, who I must say I adore her,
- 7:16Speaker 1: So she's just a talented woman. But she's opening up
- 7:20Speaker 1: about a bad experience she had with actor Bill Murray
- 7:24Speaker 1: back in the day on their film Quick Change. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's film. So Gina Davis was still popular, I would say,
- 7:32Speaker 1: after a league of their own after all those but
- 7:34Speaker 1: she wasn't a huge star. So she went to the
- 7:36Speaker 1: set with a Bill Murray and apparently Bill Murray had
- 7:41Speaker 1: like met in like a hotel suite to talk about
- 7:43Speaker 1: the film. He had something called the Thumper, which aren't
- 7:47Speaker 1: just the name below. I'm very sexual. It's a massage
- 7:50Speaker 1: device he insisted on using on her, despite her emphatically refusing,
- 7:57Speaker 1: And then she goes on to say later where they
- 7:59Speaker 1: were actually phil on location, he tracked her down on
- 8:02Speaker 1: her trailer and started screaming at her for being late,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and she says she was only late because she was
- 8:07Speaker 1: waiting on wardrobe, so not her fault, and then he
- 8:09Speaker 1: continued to prade her in front of the cast and
- 8:13Speaker 1: crew and everybody that was walking by. She says it
- 8:16Speaker 1: was so bad. She goes, I should have walked out
- 8:19Speaker 1: of that profoundly, you know, she should have walked out
- 8:21Speaker 1: of the meeting, especially when he insisted on using a
- 8:23Speaker 1: device on her, but she didn't, and you know, she
- 8:26Speaker 1: regrets it. Although it wasn't her fault, she knew she
- 8:29Speaker 1: needed to stay in that room because she needed to
- 8:30Speaker 1: make it in Hollywood, she says. She says that in
- 8:33Speaker 1: the quotes, it's heartbreaking, isn't it. He has a terrible reputation.
- 8:37Speaker 1: More is going to come out about him. But what
- 8:40Speaker 1: really upset me about this too, is not just the
- 8:43Speaker 1: awful act. Obviously that is the main point here. But
- 8:46Speaker 1: Gina went on to say that she blamed herself, that
- 8:49Speaker 1: she thinks that this was her fault and it wasn't.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I can't imagine. It's difficult. These conversations are always difficult
- 8:58Speaker 1: to have. I aren't imagine in the nineties. I mean,
- 9:01Speaker 1: what was that thirty years ago. I can't imagine what
- 9:06Speaker 1: it was like back then. It's bad now. We know
- 9:09Speaker 1: it's bad now, but back then it is outrageous. She
- 9:12Speaker 1: said in the interview that had she said anything, she
- 9:16Speaker 1: would have lost her job. She she she knew she
- 9:19Speaker 1: wouldn't have gone this role. He was a superstar at
- 9:23Speaker 1: the time. But I do think that talking about it
- 9:26Speaker 1: now is really good because it's going to make everybody
- 9:31Speaker 1: think about this, have this conversation. It's also to calling
- 9:34Speaker 1: out these creeps. If you do it, we're going to
- 9:38Speaker 1: say your name, Gina Davis, you are a hero. Hey.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Moving along, Mega Marco is discussing how Harry helped her
- 9:47Speaker 1: and one of the worst points in her life and
- 9:49Speaker 1: her new podcast. So her podcast is on hiatus when
- 9:52Speaker 1: the Queen passed it, it's back now and she's tackling
- 9:54Speaker 1: some really really important topics. She described to have her husband,
- 9:59Speaker 1: Harry and her a referral to a mental health professional
- 10:03Speaker 1: when she was at her lowest point. She went on
- 10:05Speaker 1: to say the following quote. I mean, and I think
- 10:07Speaker 1: it was my lowest point. Being finally able to connect
- 10:11Speaker 1: with somebody that my husband found out and gave me
- 10:14Speaker 1: the number that for me was so so amazing. She
- 10:18Speaker 1: said that she just called this person. Can you imagine
- 10:21Speaker 1: being a therapist in Britain and your phone ring. She
- 10:24Speaker 1: was at the grocery store and she couldn't quite figure
- 10:27Speaker 1: out what was going on. Megan and produced herself and
- 10:30Speaker 1: then they finally spoken, and Megan said that she thinks
- 10:34Speaker 1: that being honest about what's going on in your life
- 10:37Speaker 1: and not being afraid to ask for help is the
- 10:40Speaker 1: message here, and that's the point she's trying to make here.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's not that she called somebody in the grocery store
- 10:46Speaker 1: and they didn't know who she was. She's not looking
- 10:48Speaker 1: for that attention, although some people might imply she is.
- 10:51Speaker 1: What she's saying here is that everybody, even when you
- 10:54Speaker 1: are literally a princess or about to become a princess,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you can have these feelings and their valid and asking
- 11:01Speaker 1: for help that does not make you weak. It's an
- 11:05Speaker 1: amazing episode, Donnie. Did you listen to her show? Donnie?
- 11:08Speaker 1: I do not listen to I don't know why, and
- 11:11Speaker 1: maybe I'm part of the problem. I just there's something
- 11:13Speaker 1: about her that I can't put past. I don't know
- 11:16Speaker 1: what it is. It's not that I don't like her.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I just know I wish I wish she could hear
- 11:20Speaker 1: that a lewer lower low. There is something like if
- 11:24Speaker 1: I worked with you, I would tell you that there's
- 11:27Speaker 1: something about I don't know if it's the way you speak,
- 11:30Speaker 1: or it comes across sometimes as a little phony, doesn't it.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I don't ever feel like she's telling me the truth,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and I do believe she is. I think she's got
- 11:38Speaker 1: a pr problem. I think she's got like a Maybe
- 11:40Speaker 1: it's a reputation problem. Maybe it's the fact that she's
- 11:43Speaker 1: now talking a little bit like posh, Like I don't
- 11:46Speaker 1: know if she was that posh when I met her
- 11:48Speaker 1: ten years ago. I think she's trying to be who
- 11:52Speaker 1: she thinks a princess is, and she'd be better off
- 11:55Speaker 1: to just be Megan. Oh. I agreed, Like I would
- 11:57Speaker 1: die to sit and just have a beer with her. Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: or I'm sure she drink wine or champagne, which you
- 12:01Speaker 1: could have that I'll drink a beer, but I would
- 12:03Speaker 1: love to just chat with her for a second and
- 12:05Speaker 1: just be like, girl, like you this facade you have
- 12:08Speaker 1: put up because you felt like you were forced to
- 12:10Speaker 1: put it down, break it down. You're gonna be way
- 12:13Speaker 1: more like and put it down. You know when we
- 12:15Speaker 1: started this podcast, they're still up there from three years ago,
- 12:18Speaker 1: the original episodes. I got some notes from her eye Heart,
- 12:21Speaker 1: and they were like, we didn't hire that guy. We
- 12:23Speaker 1: hired you and stopped talking like your Diane Soy or
- 12:26Speaker 1: a Bobara Walters. I pretended to be a guy that
- 12:29Speaker 1: had a podcast, and they were like, we don't want him.
- 12:32Speaker 1: We want ram shooter bo and when you miss pronounced stuff,
- 12:36Speaker 1: when you have trouble saying something, that's what we like.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And so I think being my authentic self Donnie YouTube
- 12:46Speaker 1: is what made the show a success. I know if
- 12:49Speaker 1: I hadn't have got that note, I don't think we'd
- 12:51Speaker 1: be sitting here today. Donna. Oh, absolutely. Now there's shows,
- 12:53Speaker 1: trust me. I've listened to radio shows and even talk shows.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It's like I want somebody related, right. That's why a
- 12:59Speaker 1: lot of celebrities do these talk shows and podcasts and
- 13:02Speaker 1: they're not. Then they fizzle out because celebrities aren't as
- 13:04Speaker 1: relatable as we are because they're afraid to say people
- 13:07Speaker 1: around them say, they don't say that just bet you hey.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Before we get a break down a what is going
- 13:13Speaker 1: on with that girl? Lizzo clapping back for her fat
- 13:19Speaker 1: phobic critics, and she says, blank them put the effort
- 13:22Speaker 1: in there. She goes, people have been calling me fat
- 13:25Speaker 1: my entire life, but that was my first time seeing
- 13:27Speaker 1: an insult of how I looked, who I am and
- 13:30Speaker 1: my music wrapped into one, and it really hurt me.
- 13:34Speaker 1: She told this to Vanity Fair and if one person
- 13:36Speaker 1: says it, then another person says it. It's multiplying like
- 13:40Speaker 1: a blinking virus. She's really going back, especially because Kanye
- 13:43Speaker 1: West now has criticized her weight. A lot of people
- 13:46Speaker 1: have come out and she's just saying once one person
- 13:49Speaker 1: says that, another person says it, and then you're like, wow,
- 13:52Speaker 1: this is getting meant so difficult. They call it the
- 13:55Speaker 1: echo chamber on social media, that it really can catch
- 14:00Speaker 1: on and before you know it, it's overwhelming. But I
- 14:03Speaker 1: do like where she's landed on this and her advice,
- 14:06Speaker 1: which is f them. That's how she feels about it,
- 14:09Speaker 1: So I think she's been really honest. It gets to
- 14:11Speaker 1: her too. She's a human being as well as a superstar,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and sometimes it gets to her. But I think that's
- 14:17Speaker 1: the best attitude to get to to arrival. I them
- 14:22Speaker 1: like when people come after me, you know, I gotta
- 14:25Speaker 1: be honest, and it doesn't really hurt my feelings that
- 14:27Speaker 1: much anymore. If somebody that I loved came after me,
- 14:30Speaker 1: if it was you, a friend or a family member,
- 14:34Speaker 1: that would hurt my feelings more. But anonymous people screaming
- 14:37Speaker 1: at me, I you that's a good word, isn't that.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I wish we could say it. We can't say it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Don't worry. A very very clean podcast. Hey, we're gonna
- 14:45Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will beat right back.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Wellcommend to the Not Even Night Show. I'm Rob shootim
- 14:51Speaker 1: with dear Johnny Meetzscham in l Hey, Donnie, let's get
- 14:55Speaker 1: to the pills. So last episode, we talked about a
- 15:01Speaker 1: royal expert Tina Brand, claiming that Prince Harry's memoir will
- 15:04Speaker 1: never be published. In fact, Charles will pay off the
- 15:07Speaker 1: publishers for it to dis aper. Do you agree? Said no,
- 15:12Speaker 1: they don't agree. This book is coming out. I agree
- 15:15Speaker 1: with the majority here. This book is coming out. Even
- 15:19Speaker 1: if Charles tried to pay off the publisher. They're saying, no,
- 15:23Speaker 1: he signed the deal, he got the check, he did,
- 15:25Speaker 1: the work is handed in the manuscript. This book is
- 15:29Speaker 1: coming at. What do you think, Tony, Oh, this book
- 15:32Speaker 1: is happening because the publisher is probably gonna make more
- 15:34Speaker 1: money in book sales than they would the Prince Charles
- 15:37Speaker 1: is going to take from the British people. That's right.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's poul Go to our
- 15:43Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook page
- 15:46Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 15:49Speaker 1: hear your results. That books coming out, And now it's
- 15:52Speaker 1: time for the nicest of the day. The next of
- 15:58Speaker 1: the day is Jesse and James Decker and her husband
- 16:01Speaker 1: Eric Den seeing pictures of him, the one that the
- 16:04Speaker 1: little boy took the shower. Yes, that was remember when
- 16:07Speaker 1: he pretended or they said that their son took a
- 16:11Speaker 1: picture of him making in the shower upsie and posted
- 16:14Speaker 1: and posted it and he didn't show his bits or pieces.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It was a perfectly posed picture. Now I'm not saying
- 16:19Speaker 1: don't do it. If you're listening Erica la alone, keep
- 16:22Speaker 1: doing it. But I'm just like, you're so we get it.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But she's saying of why their marriage works, and she says,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I've been really lucky to be able to bring Eric,
- 16:32Speaker 1: bring the kids whenever it makes sense for our schedules
- 16:34Speaker 1: to travel around because she is a singer. But she goes,
- 16:37Speaker 1: we've got a day rule where three days is like
- 16:40Speaker 1: the absolute limit, and so like, basically she's saying, three
- 16:44Speaker 1: days they go without seeing each other and they have
- 16:46Speaker 1: to come back together and it has to be in
- 16:48Speaker 1: each other's faces. I love that. Why is thinking about
- 16:51Speaker 1: I saw Bruce was travling recently. Did you guys didn't
- 16:54Speaker 1: see each other? But you guys, does it make you
- 16:56Speaker 1: miss him? Yeah, we have rules too, it's not the
- 16:59Speaker 1: same rule. And this is the point I think she's
- 17:00Speaker 1: making here. Make the rule that's right for you. Like
- 17:03Speaker 1: when Bruce and I were both traveling, we had a
- 17:06Speaker 1: rule that we couldn't go a week without seeing each other.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Now that was more difficult when I lived in Britain
- 17:10Speaker 1: and I didn't have the money to fly in every week.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But you change your rules then, But we talked every day.
- 17:15Speaker 1: We have to find half an hour each day to
- 17:18Speaker 1: speak to one another, get on FaceTime. So make your
- 17:20Speaker 1: own rules. But I think this is not just about love.
- 17:23Speaker 1: This is about friendship. You've got to invest in these relationships.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And if you stop calling your friends and they stop
- 17:28Speaker 1: calling you, they disappear. And so you've got to, like, honestly,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you've got to do the work. We talk about that
- 17:32Speaker 1: a lot on this show. And I know some people
- 17:34Speaker 1: are going to say, you know, our relationships should be easier,
- 17:37Speaker 1: they shouldn't be worked. I don't believe that. I think
- 17:39Speaker 1: that you've got to bother. You've got to invest time,
- 17:42Speaker 1: you've got to talk to one another. You've got a
- 17:44Speaker 1: text one another. And let's face it, with iPhones now
- 17:46Speaker 1: and technology, it's so easy to send someone a text.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I might not want to talk to you for twenty minutes,
- 17:51Speaker 1: but I can text you like I'm good at staying
- 17:53Speaker 1: in touch with people, Donna, You're pretty good at this.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Two yes, And I think we're going on to your point.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I think this works at us too, is there. We're
- 18:01Speaker 1: both very good at just hello, hello, done, and we
- 18:05Speaker 1: both know it's done. You know what I say. It
- 18:08Speaker 1: must be hello, hello, Hello. But that's how we keep
- 18:12Speaker 1: in touch, and it's how friendships remaining. That's how relationships
- 18:15Speaker 1: with you, Donny, it's so worthy, but I think it's
- 18:17Speaker 1: worth it. With everybody, it is worth it. Let's do.
- 18:20Speaker 1: And notice the Keuny is talking about the awkward moment
- 18:24Speaker 1: when he had to kiss Julia Roberts in front of
- 18:26Speaker 1: his wife. So they're making a new film to it
- 18:28Speaker 1: that they shot it in Australia. George was there with
- 18:31Speaker 1: his family, so he's two kids were there. They're five
- 18:34Speaker 1: years old now, Ella and Alexander. They're twins. They're twins,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and so he said that there was a scene when
- 18:40Speaker 1: they had to kiss Julia at it. It was very
- 18:42Speaker 1: awkward because it was the first day a mole arrived
- 18:45Speaker 1: at the shoes. But they did take the kids away,
- 18:47Speaker 1: so they said he did not want his children seeing
- 18:49Speaker 1: him kissing another woman. But his wife watched it and
- 18:52Speaker 1: he said it's pretty awkward. They took twenty takes because
- 18:56Speaker 1: they kept laughing, and so finally they got a is
- 19:00Speaker 1: I mean, I'm saying the naughtiest but it's really sort
- 19:02Speaker 1: of charming and funny. I don't know, Donnie, I mean,
- 19:05Speaker 1: could we kiss song for twenty million dollars? Kiss you
- 19:08Speaker 1: hello in Australia, Compton wherever? Please a free vopissoda come here. Hey,
- 19:16Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of rob you. I love
- 19:18Speaker 1: this quote from Oscar Wild Let's think about it all
- 19:21Speaker 1: day long. Quote. There is only one thing in life
- 19:24Speaker 1: worse than being talked about, and that's not being talked about.
- 19:28Speaker 1: So if you're sick of friends gossiping and talking about you,
- 19:32Speaker 1: there's one thing worse, which is being ignored. And now
- 19:35Speaker 1: we've got the perfect response thanks to our friend Lizzo.
