- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, six o'clock on the not here in Nashville.
- 0:05Speaker 2: How you doing, Good morning, Happy Thursday. Ricky's got those
- 0:08Speaker 2: three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: There is a shooting at the Antioch High School yesterday.
- 0:12Speaker 3: A teen girl and the shooter have both passed away.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Two others were injured during the shooting, which happened inside
- 0:18Speaker 3: of the cafeteria. Metro National Public Schools announced that Antioch
- 0:21Speaker 3: High School is set to close through the end of
- 0:23Speaker 3: the week this week. Metro National PD is currently investigating
- 0:27Speaker 3: this shooting.
- 0:28Speaker 4: We're thinking about everybody.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Who attends Antioch High School and the whole community right now.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Every single time that I hear about a shooting happening,
- 0:35Speaker 3: whether it's here or elsewhere, my heart just sinks.
- 0:39Speaker 4: It's such a helpless.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Feeling that I know that I feel right now, and
- 0:43Speaker 3: I know that I'm not alone in that. So if
- 0:45Speaker 3: you need anyone to talk to, my dms are always
- 0:48Speaker 3: open to you. You can always reach out to me,
- 0:49Speaker 3: and we can always talk through this because I know
- 0:52Speaker 3: that a lot of us have a lot of feelings
- 0:54Speaker 3: right now, and that's okay. We can be there for
- 0:56Speaker 3: each other. The Razzie nominations came out, and here's what
- 1:01Speaker 3: you need to know for those of you who may
- 1:03Speaker 3: not know. The Razzies are an award show for the
- 1:06Speaker 3: worst performances on TV and in movies this year, and
- 1:10Speaker 3: they do it every year. So there's a five way
- 1:13Speaker 3: tie for the most nominations between Borderlands, Joker II, Megapolis, Megalapolis, Megalopolis, Megalopolis, Reagan,
- 1:24Speaker 3: and Madam Webb, so they all have six nominations each.
- 1:29Speaker 4: This is an interesting fact.
- 1:30Speaker 3: So Joaquin Phoenix is nominated for the Worst Actor, but
- 1:34Speaker 3: there's a possibility that he's also nominated at the Oscars,
- 1:37Speaker 3: which the nominations come out today.
- 1:39Speaker 4: He was nominated back in twenty twenty.
- 1:41Speaker 3: For the original Joker, so we'll see what happens there.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Winners will receive a four dollars ninety seven cent gold
- 1:49Speaker 3: spray painted statue.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Oh that's so cool, and.
- 1:52Speaker 3: They'll be announced Saturday, March first, the day before the Oscars.
- 1:56Speaker 3: What a way to just you know, bring people down
- 1:58Speaker 3: the DABA Finals.
- 2:00Speaker 4: It's totally big, but it's all in good fun.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Honestly, most people don't even pay attention to them when
- 2:06Speaker 3: they're actually in it. And Pokemon, they have returned to
- 2:11Speaker 3: McDonald's Happy Meals.
- 2:12Speaker 4: This made me so happy to read because I.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Remember when Pokemon were inside of McDonald's Happy Meals.
- 2:19Speaker 4: So all of the Happy Meals.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Include Pokemon cards right now, and it's gonna happen through March.
- 2:23Speaker 3: They have four themed boxes, all with different Pokemon on
- 2:27Speaker 3: the outside. Each box includes a Pokemon TCG booster prack
- 2:32Speaker 3: that has four cards and there's fifteen in all.
- 2:36Speaker 2: For you to catch.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I gotta catch a ball in the unison.
- 2:40Speaker 3: You've got a poster and a sticker sheet to decorate
- 2:42Speaker 3: it with, and it's all very cute. Obviously, Millennials, you
- 2:46Speaker 3: remember the Pokemon Happy Meals and this just it all
- 2:50Speaker 3: make your heart happy like it made my heart happy. Yes,
- 2:53Speaker 3: I'm Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
- 2:55Speaker 3: to know.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Ricky Zach in the morning.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Amana in the morning. I hope you're excited, because we're excited.
- 3:04Speaker 3: We're giving away a sticker today. He oh yeah, oh
- 3:06Speaker 3: yeahst Collar of the Day.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Let's go six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one
- 3:11Speaker 2: oh seven. On Tuesday, the young lady we talked to
- 3:15Speaker 2: very excited about the sticker. Her son was celebrating a birthday.
- 3:18Speaker 2: She got two stickers we threw into yesterday the guy
- 3:21Speaker 2: we talked to didn't care at all. So today I
- 3:24Speaker 2: think this pendulum is going to swing back the other way.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I hope so, because when I tell you, this is
- 3:27Speaker 3: a really cool sticker that I worked very hard on
- 3:30Speaker 3: with my blood, sweat and tears. It's holographic, it's fun colors,
- 3:35Speaker 3: eight stays on anything you stick it on.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Let's gone through the dishwasher a thousand times, still on
- 3:40Speaker 2: my water bottle. If you showed me the sticker and said,
- 3:42Speaker 2: how much do you think this costs? Four hundred dollars
- 3:45Speaker 2: easily six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven,
- 3:48Speaker 2: first callar the day is sticker and some small talk
- 3:52Speaker 2: for you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Next one oh seven five of the River.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 3:57Speaker 4: A par collar Alison, summertime. You are the first collar
- 4:00Speaker 4: of the day on one of seven, five of the River.
- 4:02Speaker 6: I am so excited.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Thank you, You're welcome.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Alice.
- 4:05Speaker 2: What are you doing this morning?
- 4:07Speaker 7: Well, I'm getting ready to go to school.
- 4:09Speaker 8: I am a librarian.
- 4:10Speaker 6: Oh my god, I love you.
- 4:13Speaker 7: And listen to these.
- 4:14Speaker 6: I'm so excited because I have a New York bestseller
- 4:18Speaker 6: author coming to visit my students today.
- 4:20Speaker 3: WHOA, that is so cool and I love that you
- 4:23Speaker 3: are a librarian. You are so important to just the
- 4:27Speaker 3: fabric of our community and of this the school that
- 4:30Speaker 3: you work in and everything like that is amazing.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Who's the author, April Henry?
- 4:35Speaker 8: She writes mysteries and thrillers. And my students are static.
- 4:38Speaker 9: I'm not gonna lie, Alice. Your voice is so cute.
- 4:41Speaker 9: They're like, I want to go to the library and
- 4:43Speaker 9: just hang out with you, like you sound so sweet.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Well, unfortunately, you'll hang out with the library. She's gonna
- 4:48Speaker 2: be whispering. Yep, maybe hang out with someone else.
- 4:50Speaker 9: That's true.
- 4:51Speaker 8: We get a little excited in the library.
- 4:53Speaker 10: Didn't help with you.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Alice does have a very nice librarian voice, sweet and calming.
- 5:00Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 5:03Speaker 5: We are so.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Excited that you are so excited to be the first
- 5:05Speaker 3: caller of the day and that you're about to have such.
- 5:07Speaker 4: An amazing day. I think you just like put all
- 5:10Speaker 4: of our days on the map to also have a
- 5:12Speaker 4: great day. Everyone's smiling in the studio.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Okay, that's great.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Well, let's all have a super great day.
- 5:17Speaker 2: You're a very positive force. To talk to you first
- 5:19Speaker 2: thing in the morning. We're happy to say we're gonna
- 5:21Speaker 2: send you a Ricky second man On in the Morning sticker.
- 5:23Speaker 2: These things are limited edition. You can put it proudly
- 5:26Speaker 2: on your desk there in the library.
- 5:28Speaker 8: I definitely will you, no, thank.
- 5:29Speaker 5: You, Oh I love it.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Hang on the line, Alice, okay.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Man, the world needs mark Alice's I'm.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Literally smiling ear to ear. I woke up with a
- 5:38Speaker 4: headache and I just somehow feel better.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Now, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning, it's time.
- 5:46Speaker 4: For a little vent. Sash on one oh seven five
- 5:47Speaker 4: the river real quick. Okay. We have a bit of
- 5:51Speaker 4: a bone to pick with the way that they clean
- 5:53Speaker 4: our office here.
- 5:54Speaker 3: We have a new building, new studio, all very nice,
- 5:58Speaker 3: and now we have somebody who cleans daily.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It's fun, it's great. She's awesome, very nice.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Ever used to have that in the old place.
- 6:04Speaker 2: We have to rework her schedule though. That's the thing
- 6:06Speaker 2: that's the problem.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Every day, when.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We can finally go to the bathroom after the show
- 6:12Speaker 3: is done, where we can like actually go, she's cleaning
- 6:15Speaker 3: the bathroom.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It's a lot. She's got like a big like rope
- 6:17Speaker 2: in front of it, says go away.
- 6:19Speaker 4: We can't go in there. Wait, it frustrates me.
- 6:22Speaker 9: You don't go in.
- 6:25Speaker 11: I just go into the other bathroom. Like if they're
- 6:27Speaker 11: cleaning the men's bathroom, I just go in the women's bathroom.
- 6:30Speaker 4: You go in the women's bathroom.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Yeah, it's open, it's an open bathroom. Why not? Like
- 6:36Speaker 9: if I have to go pee, I'm going in the
- 6:37Speaker 9: women's bathroom.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Is this I'm asking completely earnestly here. Do you think
- 6:41Speaker 2: you can get away with that as a gay man?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Do you think I can do that?
- 6:44Speaker 9: I think you can.
- 6:44Speaker 11: Also, no one is here at that time, and every
- 6:47Speaker 11: time you walk in, it's just a bunch of stalls.
- 6:49Speaker 11: It's like the airport or like the airplane bathroom.
- 6:52Speaker 9: Every ginger uses it. So I just go in the bathroom.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Well there's not a bunch of people in there, what
- 6:57Speaker 2: I mean?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Okay, So first off, I do not mind that you
- 7:00Speaker 3: do that. That doesn't bother me whatsoever. I wouldn't even
- 7:02Speaker 3: care if Kevin went in there.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 7:04Speaker 4: They didn't bother me at all.
- 7:05Speaker 3: But what I'm bothered about right now, though, is I
- 7:07Speaker 3: just realized that you have a privilege guys that I
- 7:09Speaker 3: don't have.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Because there are urinals in there. Yeah, so it's a
- 7:16Speaker 2: little less private than the female battery.
- 7:18Speaker 4: We have nothing but stalls, so you guys can go
- 7:20Speaker 4: into a stall and I don't.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Care what you do in a stall, and y'all.
- 7:23Speaker 9: Says way nicer than ours.
- 7:25Speaker 2: It's like nice and clean.
- 7:29Speaker 11: It always smells good, like I think she takes extra
- 7:32Speaker 11: time in the women's bathroom.
- 7:34Speaker 2: This conversation started is one thing because her schedule the
- 7:36Speaker 2: bathroom cleaning lines up perfectly with like when we finally
- 7:39Speaker 2: get a break in here doing a live radio show,
- 7:41Speaker 2: that we can go use the bathroom. She's always cleaning.
- 7:43Speaker 2: But now Zach has really brought up something to free unexpected.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I feel I can't do it. I don't think I
- 7:49Speaker 2: can do it.
- 7:50Speaker 9: I take you in there.
- 7:51Speaker 2: What if you stood outside the door? I'm not sure
- 7:53Speaker 2: nobody went, but then that's still that's very rude. I
- 7:55Speaker 2: can't do this.
- 7:56Speaker 4: I mean you can, Kevin, it's okay, you permission. I'm
- 8:00Speaker 4: the only woman here right now. Like if we took
- 8:02Speaker 4: a break and you could go look at the bathroom,
- 8:05Speaker 4: that's okay.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Will you come with me?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yes?
- 8:07Speaker 7: Okay?
- 8:08Speaker 5: Three things, okay, all right?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Just after seven o'clock here on this Thursday morning, Ricky's
- 8:14Speaker 2: got those three things.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Post Malone has his own Oreo now and it's the
- 8:19Speaker 3: most insane Oreo that I've ever heard of in my life,
- 8:21Speaker 3: and it's so many different flavors. So the limited edition
- 8:24Speaker 3: post Malone Oreo Cookies, it's a first of its kind
- 8:28Speaker 3: with a swirled cream, so it has two different flavored
- 8:31Speaker 3: cookies also on the outside that are embossed with different
- 8:35Speaker 3: things that represent his music career, so like a guitar, pick,
- 8:38Speaker 3: a butterfly, truck, and chains.
- 8:40Speaker 4: So it's all very much catered to him.
- 8:42Speaker 3: The cream that is a twisted swirl, has salted caramel
- 8:48Speaker 3: and short bread flavors and it's sandwiched in between a
- 8:52Speaker 3: chocolate cookie which is like the normal Oreo cookie, and
- 8:55Speaker 3: a golden Oreo cookie on the other side.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I'm all for this. That almost sounds like too many
- 9:00Speaker 2: tastes going on, too many flavors.
- 9:02Speaker 3: At one many things at one time, very very crazy
- 9:06Speaker 3: thought process, but I'm down to try it. And I
- 9:08Speaker 3: could try one without my tummy herting since it's got
- 9:11Speaker 3: gluten but one.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Uh.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Postlon's cookies are going to be available for pre sale Monday,
- 9:17Speaker 3: January twenty seventh, so this upcoming Monday on the Orio
- 9:21Speaker 3: website and then you can find them nationwide across everywhere
- 9:25Speaker 3: February third, to try them out. I'm like so intrigued
- 9:28Speaker 3: by this, so hopefully we get our hands on some
- 9:31Speaker 3: so we can try them here in the studio.
- 9:33Speaker 4: This is really cool.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Jet Blue is now going to take Venmo online bookings,
- 9:38Speaker 3: which is a first for any airline to do so.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Venmo payment options are available for the airline's website and
- 9:44Speaker 3: it's going to roll out on their mobile app in
- 9:46Speaker 3: the coming months, so you can use this as a
- 9:48Speaker 3: payment option. It's the latest announcement to try to broader
- 9:52Speaker 3: the possibilities for people to you know, use their services
- 9:57Speaker 3: and boost profits. Ultimately things a little easier for you. Obviously,
- 10:02Speaker 3: this is a low cost carrier. They are a little
- 10:04Speaker 3: bit struggling right now in Jeff Blues.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I've always forgoved things.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I have no beef with Jeff Flu, but they're struggling
- 10:10Speaker 3: right now, and I mean, I love a budget option.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You girl don't got a lot of money, so I'm
- 10:14Speaker 3: all for it. And the fact that now you can
- 10:15Speaker 3: use Venmo is great. If you're like me, I forget
- 10:18Speaker 3: sometimes what's in my Venmo account, So I think it's
- 10:21Speaker 3: great that you have the option to do this if
- 10:23Speaker 3: you have maybe fifty bucks in there, use your Venmo
- 10:26Speaker 3: account if you forget about it.
- 10:28Speaker 4: The Nashville Community Fridge is back. This is also really amazing.
- 10:33Speaker 4: They've partnered with a new host.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Dark Matter Collective for a donation based fridge that's now
- 10:38Speaker 3: stationed at eleven eleven Dickerson Pike. So this fridge is
- 10:42Speaker 3: available to everyone twenty four to seven. It's not a charity,
- 10:45Speaker 3: but instead it's a mutual aid effort that's completely just
- 10:49Speaker 3: done by the community. A few things on the list
- 10:52Speaker 3: of accepted items are eggs, fresh fruits and veggies, bread
- 10:56Speaker 3: and pastries, and a whole bunch of other things. I'm
- 10:59Speaker 3: going to put it up on the one O seven
- 11:01Speaker 3: five of the River's Instagram stories on our Instagram page
- 11:04Speaker 3: so you can see the full list of things that
- 11:05Speaker 3: are available, as well as exactly where it is stationed.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It's a great community effort. If you can help out
- 11:11Speaker 3: and donate something to the fridge, please do because it
- 11:14Speaker 3: makes a huge difference. I'm r Casanchez and those are
- 11:16Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 11:18Speaker 1: One Ricky Zach and a new Day.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Thank you for starting with us here. It's one oh
- 11:24Speaker 2: seven five the river. Let's start with some information, some knowledge.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It's time for Zach's facts.
- 11:29Speaker 11: Okay, So this one is actually brought to you by
- 11:30Speaker 11: a listener. I got a DM from Blake and he said,
- 11:33Speaker 11: how much time of your life you spend watching commercials?
- 11:36Speaker 11: So I looked it up and apparently you spend four
- 11:39Speaker 11: point two years of your life watching commercials.
- 11:41Speaker 4: I hate that.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Four point two years.
- 11:44Speaker 2: And I would assume that's like ads too, before video
- 11:46Speaker 2: plays or something. Yeah, considered commercial.
- 11:49Speaker 9: Four point two years of your life. It's taken away
- 11:51Speaker 9: by that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: How much time do we, the three of us spend
- 11:53Speaker 2: listening to commercials?
- 11:55Speaker 4: So a lot of time, all of it.
- 11:58Speaker 9: And that's your fact of the day.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Is Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 12:01Speaker 2: On the river, all right? I gather around, gather around.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It's one o seven five the river. Get the kids,
- 12:06Speaker 2: wake them up. Ricky has a hot take.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Yes, a little, a little rant a Ricky rant.
- 12:12Speaker 3: I think that Samoas are the only girl Scout cookie
- 12:15Speaker 3: that should ever exist.
- 12:16Speaker 9: And this is what you get for thinking.
- 12:18Speaker 4: But I feel like we're making the girl Scouts work too.
- 12:20Speaker 8: Hard.
- 12:21Speaker 4: There's too many cookies. Nobody cares about the other cookies.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Samoa's are the best ones, are the only ones that matter.
- 12:25Speaker 2: That's absolutely not true. That's nobody cares. What then they
- 12:29Speaker 2: would only ever sell samoas and then they would discontinue
- 12:31Speaker 2: thos like that's not how business works.
- 12:33Speaker 3: No, I feel like they have the others because they're
- 12:35Speaker 3: just trying to make these girls work harder.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It's not much more work for the girls. I mean
- 12:40Speaker 2: the here's the form, the pay per form. You fill
- 12:42Speaker 2: out and say I want to box cookies.
- 12:44Speaker 4: They got to try and sell all these cookies.
- 12:46Speaker 9: Remember when I said, this is what you get for thinking?
- 12:49Speaker 4: So you disagree with me?
- 12:50Speaker 8: You don't?
- 12:50Speaker 4: Yeah, really not a good idea and should be the
- 12:53Speaker 4: only ones.
- 12:54Speaker 2: That's dumb, so not even thin mint okay? Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 12:58Speaker 2: one oh seven. Where do you stand on this? Do
- 12:59Speaker 2: you agree with Ricky or do you want to tell
- 13:01Speaker 2: her how wrong she is?
- 13:02Speaker 5: Six? Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning one.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Just had a little hot take a little Ricky rant
- 13:12Speaker 3: I said that samoas are the only girl Scout cookie
- 13:14Speaker 3: that should exist. I feel like we're just making these
- 13:17Speaker 3: girls work harder, not smarter. We got April and Hendersonville
- 13:21Speaker 3: on the line.
- 13:22Speaker 4: What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with me?
- 13:24Speaker 8: Okay, so I have some scientific evidence.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Oh good?
- 13:27Speaker 8: Okay, So my daughter sold sixteen hundred bus Girl Scout
- 13:31Speaker 8: cookies to win a trip to go to Disney World.
- 13:34Speaker 2: That's fantastic. Congratulations her number one.
- 13:37Speaker 8: Sold cookie with thin mist followed by tag along Ben Samoas.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Okay, so Ricky is just clearly wrong. There's no arguing
- 13:44Speaker 2: with the facts.
- 13:46Speaker 4: This is insane.
- 13:47Speaker 8: April, and the number one cookie that is sold by
- 13:50Speaker 8: Girl Scouts overall is that thin mant Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 4: You're lying to me.
- 13:55Speaker 2: You, I mean, I feel like that's a no brainer than.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Mil because Tomoa's are the best ones. I would have
- 14:00Speaker 3: automatically just assumed.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Samoas also, who eats taggle bongs?
- 14:04Speaker 10: Uh?
- 14:05Speaker 8: You know, I guess somebody who's like a rees with
- 14:07Speaker 8: a cookie?
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure, but like then just.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Have a Reese's pieces, Like that's just so much better,
- 14:12Speaker 2: alienating a big portion of our audience.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Does it make sense to me, Kevin, where.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Do DOCI does rank? Because that's my favorite? The peanut
- 14:18Speaker 2: butter sandwich.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Say solo.
- 14:22Speaker 8: Yeah, those are We have a bunch of those left
- 14:24Speaker 8: over that donating.
- 14:28Speaker 4: So you're actually even more wrong than I was.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Well, I'm not saying that they're everyone's favorite. I would
- 14:32Speaker 2: never make such a claim.
- 14:34Speaker 8: The way we did it in Atlanta is that each group,
- 14:37Speaker 8: each troop had to buy their own like supply of
- 14:39Speaker 8: cookies and then sell them, and dos does and the
- 14:43Speaker 8: trifle were always donated.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Okay, see they got to buy them before you. And
- 14:48Speaker 3: that's why I'm saying, you're making these girls work harder,
- 14:50Speaker 3: not smarter.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm sure they're going to charity or something, but this year,
- 14:53Speaker 2: could they be donated to me?
- 14:56Speaker 8: We're not in Girls Scouts anymore. She's a senior in
- 14:59Speaker 8: high school. But if we had some I would be
- 15:01Speaker 8: happy then.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Thank you for calling April. I
- 15:05Speaker 2: feel Vinda you're the right person to talk to on
- 15:08Speaker 2: miss Thank you, Bye bye. I do know the Brandon
- 15:12Speaker 2: is hanging on the phone, and I think he's gonna
- 15:13Speaker 2: agree with you. So can we take a break and
- 15:15Speaker 2: talk to Brandon.
- 15:15Speaker 9: In a minute?
- 15:16Speaker 5: Fine?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Yeah, if we must, you admit you're wrong, right, not wrong?
- 15:21Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 15:24Speaker 2: A couple of minutes ago, Ricky shared her opinion about
- 15:27Speaker 2: Girl Scout cookies. She thinks that Samoa's are the only
- 15:32Speaker 2: one they should sell because that's clearly everyone's favorite, which
- 15:34Speaker 2: is just factually inaccurate. That's what I feel, So now
- 15:37Speaker 2: I want your opinions as well. On one of seven
- 15:39Speaker 2: five the River.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Good morning, Brandon and Nashville. What are your thoughts on
- 15:44Speaker 3: my little hot take I just had.
- 15:46Speaker 8: Well, I won't have to agree with you.
- 15:47Speaker 6: I mean, of course you would have to like coconut,
- 15:50Speaker 6: but I mean the caramel and jocolate.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And the cookie and it's just perfect.
- 15:56Speaker 6: That's right, Coconut, it's my favorite. But I like the
- 16:00Speaker 6: fanman saying the peanut butter as well.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But it sounds like Brandon like, sure, he agrees with you,
- 16:07Speaker 2: that's his favorite, but he is not confusing opinion with fact.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Like you are whatever, wown whatever.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Dude, Brandon agrees with me that Samoa's are the best
- 16:16Speaker 3: ones and they're the only ones that they should be selling.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Then mints are fine, but Samoa's are just top of
- 16:22Speaker 3: the line, like you can't get them anywhere else.
- 16:24Speaker 8: Last bottle box, I hate the whole.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Box and the one I get it, Brandon, because I
- 16:29Speaker 4: would do the same thing.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I'll tell you this, This might change things a little bit.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Uh.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I hate coconut. I don't like coconut.
- 16:35Speaker 9: I don't either. They look like fingernails.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like paper.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Wow.
- 16:39Speaker 4: You both are just so beyond wrong. No, we're not
- 16:43Speaker 4: and absolute monsters.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Brandon.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Thank you so much for calling in and for agreeing
- 16:46Speaker 4: with me. I appreciate you.
- 16:48Speaker 2: You welcome you, buddy. Thanks for listening. Samoa's would truly
- 16:52Speaker 2: be at the bottom of my list. Elizabeth in Hermitage,
- 16:55Speaker 2: where do you stand on the girl scout debate?
- 16:57Speaker 6: Okay, so I'm uh girl tag alongs are definitely the best.
- 17:03Speaker 4: No way, Elizabeth is no way.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Yes, I had to try off the cookies last year.
- 17:09Speaker 2: So yeah, and tag alongs for those that might not
- 17:13Speaker 2: be familiar, that is chocolate and peanut butter.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Yes, it is so good a rezy cup cookie.
- 17:19Speaker 8: But we did sell out all of our cookies last year.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Congratulations, that's amazing.
- 17:24Speaker 8: It was over twenty thousand cookies.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Whoa you even sold all the dosy does?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Kevin just really wants some sort of indication
- 17:34Speaker 3: for his dosies.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I'm not the only one. Thank you, Elizabeth, thank you
- 17:38Speaker 2: for calling. You're awesome.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Thank you have a great day.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Love.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So the debate has been settled. No, I don't feel
- 17:43Speaker 2: like it has been been Min't are the most popular?
- 17:46Speaker 2: That's the number one across the board.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Now been settled, Ricky's wrong.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yes, thank you, Zach. We are going to play the
- 17:52Speaker 2: Game of the Day for Shine Down tickets next. You're
- 17:55Speaker 2: so stubborn.
- 17:56Speaker 5: I really have.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Meno in the morning?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Game time, baby, maybe, oh maybe.
- 18:06Speaker 4: That was lovely Kevin.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Thank you.

- 24:41Speaker 2: Ricky is a Muno compromise, so please share any advice,
- 24:44Speaker 2: any hacks you have. We want to know, like what actually.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Works outside of the idea of like getting rest and
- 24:50Speaker 4: taking vitamin C. You're water. Yeah, those are the things
- 24:53Speaker 4: that everybody tells you. I don't rest very well, okay,
- 24:56Speaker 4: and I do take my vitamin.
- 24:57Speaker 2: C, but I need some more ideas six seven, three seven,
- 25:02Speaker 2: nine one seven. Like Ricky, I know you're an elderberry fan.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I have my elderberry drink right now, elderberry
- 25:07Speaker 3: and honey. It's something that I take every day, is elderberry,
- 25:10Speaker 3: honey and apple cider vinegar.
- 25:13Speaker 4: And I take it's a syrup and I take a
- 25:15Speaker 4: spoonful of it. Or I have one of these drinks
- 25:16Speaker 4: and it helps.
- 25:17Speaker 2: So stuff like that. That's what Ricky recommends if she's gonna,
- 25:20Speaker 2: if she's gonna offer a tip up to somebody. Now
- 25:21Speaker 2: we want to hear yours six one, five, seven, three seven,
- 25:24Speaker 2: nine one seven. How do we stay healthy?
- 25:27Speaker 1: One seven Rickey, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 25:31Speaker 3: The time of the year where everyone is getting sick NonStop,
- 25:33Speaker 3: So we're looking for some ways to avoid getting sick
- 25:37Speaker 3: outside of the typical Get rest and have some vitamin C.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, all important, though, drink your water, get rest, do
- 25:42Speaker 2: all the all the stuff.
- 25:43Speaker 4: It's Rickey Zacamano in the morning on one oh seven five.
- 25:46Speaker 9: Of the river.
- 25:47Speaker 8: Hi, who's this, It's Kim.
- 25:49Speaker 6: I'm an all in. I can tell you exactly how
- 25:52Speaker 6: to stay well.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Okay, Kim, tell us exactly how to stay not sick
- 25:56Speaker 3: this season, because everybody's sick around us.
- 25:58Speaker 6: What your man, Oh my goodness, wash your hands all
- 26:03Speaker 6: the time, and don't touch your eyes and no, do
- 26:08Speaker 6: you have those membranes? That is what travels the different viruses.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Your phone cut out for a second. You say, eyes, nose,
- 26:15Speaker 2: and mouth. Yes, okay, all right, I'm gonna play this.
- 26:19Speaker 2: They're in school right now, but when I get home later,
- 26:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna play this for my kids.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Make it a game.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Oh okay, Like.
- 26:29Speaker 9: You get a sweet street if you don't do it.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, if you do.
- 26:35Speaker 11: If you don't do it, like if you don't touch
- 26:37Speaker 11: your eyes and whatever, like you get a reward.
- 26:39Speaker 8: Oh oh, I see what you're saying.
- 26:42Speaker 11: I see what you're saying.
- 26:43Speaker 4: We were with you can't We didn't understand. What is
- 26:46Speaker 4: the only one that understood.
- 26:47Speaker 5: What you say?
- 26:48Speaker 2: Kim, Thank you for the call. Just practice proper hygiene.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That's your number one tip, number one. All right, thank
- 26:54Speaker 2: you for that, and thank you for being a nurse.
- 26:56Speaker 2: We can't thank you enough for that. Now, Zach, you
- 26:58Speaker 2: have a little list of ways to stay health.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I do so.
- 27:01Speaker 11: One of the ones is very normal. Gargle warm water
- 27:04Speaker 11: with salt in. It's like salt water supposed to help
- 27:06Speaker 11: with your like your sinuses and your throat. Here's one
- 27:09Speaker 11: that I learned from a friend. His wife is Filipino
- 27:11Speaker 11: and Chinese, and this is what they do to get
- 27:13Speaker 11: rid of it.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Is so you take an ion rid of sickness, not
- 27:17Speaker 4: to avoid getting.
- 27:18Speaker 11: Sick, avoid it, get rid of it. Just make sure
- 27:20Speaker 11: that you're healthy and open your sinuses. Okay, So before
- 27:24Speaker 11: you go to bed at night, you take an onion
- 27:26Speaker 11: and you cut off the top of it so that
- 27:28Speaker 11: the core is still in place at the bottom, and
- 27:30Speaker 11: then you put it in a bowl next to your
- 27:32Speaker 11: bed with water. And it's supposed to like get the
- 27:35Speaker 11: onion juices owl out in your room and keep your
- 27:37Speaker 11: sinuses open. He said, it smells like the in and
- 27:39Speaker 11: out Burger in his house twenty four to seven.
- 27:41Speaker 2: If you do that, I don't want.
- 27:43Speaker 4: I just don't like the way, he said. Onion juices
- 27:46Speaker 4: in the air.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Well, that's what it does. I've heard of people putting
- 27:50Speaker 2: onions in bags and like tying them on their feet.
- 27:52Speaker 9: Yeah, done it, it works.
- 27:53Speaker 2: You have done that.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely open up your sinuses, So I think there's
- 27:58Speaker 4: something there for sure. I just didn't like your free
- 28:00Speaker 4: very much. The onion juices in the air, Yeah, that
- 28:02Speaker 4: just made it sound.
- 28:03Speaker 11: Also, if you can't sleep at night because you have
- 28:05Speaker 11: so much like congestion, make sure you put like another
- 28:08Speaker 11: pillow underneath your head.
- 28:09Speaker 9: To kind of like lift it up a little bit,
- 28:10Speaker 9: and that'll help with the drainage.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Oh so then I can hurt my neck and have
- 28:13Speaker 4: a kink in my neck the next morning.
- 28:14Speaker 9: God forbid. I try and help and you just shut
- 28:17Speaker 9: it down.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I appreciate the help. Ricky's being very negative. If you
- 28:20Speaker 2: have a say, a temper a trick how to stay
- 28:22Speaker 2: healthy during cold and flu season, we'd love to.
- 28:24Speaker 10: Hear one O seven five Ricky, Zach and Menno in
- 28:28Speaker 10: the morning in Bellevue, tell us what you do to
- 28:32Speaker 10: stay healthy during this like flu and cold season.
- 28:35Speaker 7: Two things. One a netty pot.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Okay, I hate the netty pot, but yeah, I guess
- 28:40Speaker 2: you gotta do what you gotta do. I just don't
- 28:42Speaker 2: like that sensation.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Yeah I don't like it either, but it does really work,
- 28:46Speaker 7: like with all the pressure. And then two, and I
- 28:50Speaker 7: do this with my kids as well, is fresh air outside,
- 28:53Speaker 7: which I know is cold, but Doctoria can't live in
- 28:56Speaker 7: fresh air, Laura.
- 28:57Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of videos about this on social
- 29:00Speaker 3: media about how if you just sit outside while you're
- 29:03Speaker 3: sick for like fifteen minutes, that it actually does have
- 29:06Speaker 3: and cold air is even better for you.
- 29:10Speaker 2: That's what I keep seeing that It is so strange
- 29:12Speaker 2: then that so many people get sick when it's cold.
- 29:14Speaker 7: And if it's too cold, then send in your warm
- 29:17Speaker 7: car and just stick your hat out the window, you know, idea.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what learned.
- 29:23Speaker 2: We were just talking a second ago. Ricky just taught
- 29:25Speaker 2: me something. She told me that like saying like, don't
- 29:28Speaker 2: go outside with wet hair. That's a myth.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, you can go outside with wet hair. So
- 29:34Speaker 3: the cold, yes, I like your parents have been lying
- 29:39Speaker 3: to you forever.
- 29:40Speaker 4: But the cold isn't what gets us sick. It's the bacteria.
- 29:44Speaker 4: So it just like thrives and then everybody gets sick.
- 29:46Speaker 4: It has nothing to do with the actual cold outside. Yeah, crazy, Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Okay, well, thank you for calling. We are all gonna
- 29:54Speaker 2: be healthy this year. Thank you.
- 29:55Speaker 9: Stick your hat outside okay, got it?
- 29:58Speaker 5: Thanks?
- 29:58Speaker 10: Lorene one seven five The River Ricky, Zach and Menno
- 30:03Speaker 10: in the more daily double Tap on one oh seven five.
- 30:05Speaker 3: The River Today is all courtesy of Kevin. Apparently this
- 30:08Speaker 3: is something that just really hits home for him.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I'm a fast walker. You guys know that about me.
- 30:14Speaker 9: You do everything fast.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I don't like to waste time.
- 30:17Speaker 4: You have no patience.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I have no patience whatsoever. I call it efficiency, but
- 30:21Speaker 2: sure we'll go with that. And so, yeah, this guy's
- 30:23Speaker 2: just talking about the plight of a fast walker on
- 30:25Speaker 2: a sidewalk and not wanting people buy you. You'll hear
- 30:27Speaker 2: what he's saying, and I can relate.
- 30:28Speaker 12: One interesting to me that if someone is walking slow
- 30:32Speaker 12: in front of me, I'm like, oh, this person's the
- 30:35Speaker 12: most annoying person in the world. And if someone is
- 30:37Speaker 12: walking beside me at the same pace, I also think
- 30:40Speaker 12: they're annoying. And if someone were to pass by me
- 30:45Speaker 12: on my left because they're walking fast to me, I'd
- 30:47Speaker 12: be like, whoa slowing down of the big guy.
- 30:50Speaker 5: So there's really no option for someone to walk near me.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Maybe I'm just an irritable.
- 30:56Speaker 9: Yeah, so you're miserable all the time, that's you, Kevin.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm always very aware of the people around me,
- 31:02Speaker 2: and I know the speed they should be going, and
- 31:05Speaker 2: very rarely do they go this.
- 31:06Speaker 11: If you're paying that much attention to other people, I
- 31:09Speaker 11: feel like you're hiding something.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Hold on, what do you mean? You know the speed
- 31:13Speaker 4: at which other people should be going?
- 31:15Speaker 2: Like an optimal speed for everybody to to, you know,
- 31:17Speaker 2: make it a smooth sidewalk experience for all of us.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Who are you to say the speed that I should
- 31:23Speaker 4: be walking by, Kevin.
- 31:24Speaker 9: I'm the most speed.
- 31:25Speaker 2: I'm me and I'm the guy that knows these things.
- 31:29Speaker 2: But I'm not not hiding anything. It's just you know,
- 31:32Speaker 2: you gotta you gotta keep your head on a swif
- 31:34Speaker 2: you's gotta be a wary surrounderative, if you're like super
- 31:36Speaker 2: aware of everything.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Well, I'm always super aware of everything as well.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Sounds like your paranoid need to be you need to
- 31:42Speaker 2: be so you not to you know, take an advantage of.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Head on a swivel. I can I agree with him on.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Exactly if you can relate to this. If you want
- 31:50Speaker 2: to see the video or share it with a fast
- 31:51Speaker 2: walker in your life, We're gonna put it up in
- 31:53Speaker 2: our Instagram story at one of seven five of the
- 31:55Speaker 2: River on Instagram. Always put the daily double tap up
- 31:57Speaker 2: there every day about this time.
