Winnipeg councillor Russ Wyatt is now facing fresh charges of sexual assault and administering a noxious substance tied to a 2023 incident where a man met him online, was drugged, and assaulted at a home — adding to his existing pending sex assault charges. Police say Wyatt also allegedly possessed psilocybin mushrooms in connection with the case. The victim, who connected with Wyatt through an online platform, says he was given an illicit drug before the attack occurred.
