- 0:05Hello guys, We've been gone for two weeks.
- 0:10It's been 2. Weeks in preparation for what
- 0:12we're doing today. I think you need to understand
- 0:15that this period of non recording was necessary because
- 0:21we had to get in the right mindset.
- 0:22We had to collect our thoughts, we had to collect our supplies.
- 0:25Energy. Because behind us is the
- 0:29Placentia, Bradford House. The Placentia.
- 0:31Bradford House. Haunted Bradford house at
- 0:35Bradford Park in Pleasant Jump Spooky Park.
- 0:39We are ghost hunting today with you guys live well not live you
- 0:42guys are listening but we are live.
- 0:45Gonna experience this together. So if I get scared, your ass is
- 0:49getting. Scared.
- 0:49Absolutely. We came prepared with our new
- 0:52handy dandy microphone sponsored by Melissa.
- 0:54Thank you, Melissa. Thank you, Melissa.
- 0:56Love you. Our old recorder that we took to
- 1:00the Queen Mary EMF detector and today we're trying a new method.
- 1:05Which we spoke about the last time.
- 1:06Jerry, tell me what we're going to try today.
- 1:08We're trying the Estes method the BJ way.
- 1:11I'm scared but I won't be the one doing it, I will be the one
- 1:15asking questions. And I will be the receiver.
- 1:18I will be hooked up live. OK, OK, guys.
- 1:24I never expected Jerry to be the receiver in this relationship.
- 1:27He said it, not me. I will be receiving incoming
- 1:31transmissions using a voice like a ghost box from my phone,
- 1:37Which, now that I think about it, we're gonna have to figure
- 1:39something out. But anyways, we're we're, we're
- 1:41prepped. We have a lovely assistant
- 1:43behind the camera. Yes, we too.
- 1:45And man, she's look at that hand.
- 1:48We have everything we need. We have a blindfold, we have
- 1:53noise cancelling headphones that are in the tote bag that you
- 1:56can't see. And we have a can do attitude.
- 1:58We're ready. Follow us.
- 2:00Follow us to the park. Kind of cold.
- 2:02Oh, fuck. Why would you have to do that?
- 2:05I had to. Why would you do that?
- 2:06I have to do that, Brian. I'm regretting everything.
- 2:10What is this? Water comes to Placentia.
- 2:14Jerry, you know how to read now. In 1887, ranchers in Placentia
- 2:18formed the Cajun Irrigation Company to secure water for
- 2:22their young citrus Groves by selling shares in the company
- 2:26based on the number of acres each rancher owned.
- 2:30The company finance construction of the Cajun Canal.
- 2:35Cajun like Cajun seasoning. It looks like oh it might be
- 2:38Cajun. It looked like AU but apparently
- 2:43I can't read still. Just, I'm sorry, but looking at
- 2:48it, it's kind of scary. Like the lights are on inside
- 2:51with very sheer windows. I'm gonna be honest with you, I
- 2:54don't like, I don't get like AI don't know, like a heavy
- 2:59presence. I don't have bad vibes yet.
- 3:03That back the top window is pretty freaky though.
- 3:05There's that light coming through.
- 3:06Oh yeah, on the second floor. Keep my eye keeps going there.
- 3:09And the basement, there's lights on in the basement and the also
- 3:11this place is closed, by the way, it's only open I think the
- 3:14second Saturday of every month for a couple hours.
- 3:18So right now it's just like a park to walk around.
- 3:21Let's walk. OK guys, for our audio
- 3:25listeners, we I've, I've never been here.
- 3:29This is my first time. It's literally it's just a house
- 3:32but for some reason they have so many lights on.
- 3:34This is the second time I see a house with an entrance to the
- 3:38basement on the outside. I don't know what that's called,
- 3:39but those doors on the side. Yeah, I don't know, they're like
- 3:42the a storm, yeah, entrance or like a a tornado thing.
- 3:47I mean, this is a historical building so I imagine the lights
- 3:50stay on 24 hours or at least during the night.
- 3:54Just to like, make sure that no one's like coming.
- 3:55By yeah, probably, but man, what a beautiful house.
- 4:00Wow. So the Bradford House was built
- 4:02in 1902. Oh, my God.
- 4:04The light turned on by itself, but that's because it's motion
- 4:06activated. That's so scary.
- 4:10Wow. I'm a stand over here.
- 4:11That spooked me. Also.
- 4:12It's a very pretty house. It's a very pretty house.
- 4:14I like the colors. It's like blue and white.
- 4:18OK, the Bradford House was built in 19 O2 by Albert Sumner
- 4:22Bradford, a citrus grower and one of the early founders of
- 4:24Placentia, CA. At the turn of the 20th century,
- 4:27the citrus industry was booming in Southern California and
- 4:30Bradford built the house both as a family residence and as a
- 4:33headquarters for his ranching and business operations.
- 4:36The home has 15 rooms, hand crafted woodwork, pocket doors
- 4:40that slide into walls and glass fixtures that were considered
- 4:43upscale for the time period. The Placentia Founder Society
- 4:46now preserves the house as a historic museum.
- 4:48It's open to the public for Dawson LED tours on the second
- 4:51Sunday of each month, usually between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.
- 4:55Architecturally, it's a Victorian house, meaning ornate
- 4:58wood features unusual angles and hallways that don't always flow
- 5:01like a micro floor plan. Walking through, you see dining
- 5:04rooms, parlors and bedrooms preserved as they might have
- 5:07looked in the early 1900s. It's a kind of museum that lets
- 5:11you imagine what life was like for a prosperous family before
- 5:13cars dominated the streets and before the neighborhood around
- 5:16it became the city of Placentia. Now, about the house and the
- 5:19stories that surround it. There isn't widespread
- 5:21documentation of paranormal investigations at Bradford House
- 5:25in academic or scientific journals.
- 5:27Most of what circulates online and in local storytelling comes
- 5:30from community lore, personal accounts, and oral history.
- 5:34People who have heard things like footsteps, unexplained
- 5:36noises, or an atmosphere that don't quite feel like the rest
- 5:39of the park. 1 common explanation, offered even by
- 5:42local writers, is that noises people interpret as haunted
- 5:45sounds can actually be traced to old building behavior, wood
- 5:48settling, floorboards expanding and contracting, or even corks
- 5:52and glass contracting in hidden spaces.
- 5:54People living in the early 1900s didn't have a modern insulation
- 5:57or climate control, so temperature changes alone can
- 6:00produce surprising sounds in a house with original material.
- 6:04Still, those explanations haven't stopped people from
- 6:07telling stories. Some visitors say that in the
- 6:09basement or attic, where the structure is older and less
- 6:12finished, the air feels heavier or cooler than the rest of the
- 6:15house. Others report a sense of being
- 6:17watched in rooms where the light doesn't reach the corners.
- 6:20Each Halloween, the Bradford House hosts a community haunt
- 6:23event where groups decorate the yard and rooms with spooky
- 6:25scenes. The decorations, props and
- 6:27actors give the house in aura of creepiness that likely fuels its
- 6:30Honda reputation each year. What's interesting is how the
- 6:32event leverages the house's history, old photos, antique
- 6:36furniture and quiet hallways to create an immersive experience.
- 6:39Whether that's fun storytelling or something more depends on who
- 6:42you ask. All right, Jerry, first
- 6:45impressions walking around the perimeter of the house.
- 6:47What do you think? 15 rooms is insane.
- 6:50What would you do with 15 rooms? I don't know, it doesn't look
- 6:52that big to have 15 rooms. Yeah they're probably smaller
- 6:55rooms for sure but dude I would have like 4 game rooms, one for
- 6:59APC, one for APS 5 or PlayStation one for like the. 01
- 7:05each. Yeah.
- 7:05One room for each console. Yeah, yeah.
- 7:08Yeah. And then 1A game room, just
- 7:10board games, OK, a movie room that's only like 6 rooms.
- 7:16I still have 6. More Dang, I can't add what has
- 7:18to be better. Maybe some of those 15 rooms are
- 7:21a bathroom. Maybe it's a closet.
- 7:24Oh, maybe, Maybe. I would like a a, a library, a
- 7:27library. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have to.
- 7:29But I mean, to go back to your question, overall, it's a very,
- 7:32very, very pretty house. It looks really well maintained.
- 7:36It isn't creepy like it just looks like an older house and
- 7:41because it's wood I'm sure it has all types of noises.
- 7:45Expanding wood. You know what makes it, like,
- 7:47less creepy to be honest? The fact that it's right next to
- 7:50a very busy street. So even though we're like next
- 7:54to almost a more than 100 year old house, Yeah, the boulevard's
- 7:58right there. A Tesla truck just passed by.
- 8:01The Bank of America sign is. Really bright the LE DS are LE
- 8:04DS pretty brightly the. McDonald's drive through.
- 8:07I can see from here. What about you?
- 8:09What's your first thoughts? There's a lot of lights on and
- 8:14those has said that there's there should be like a live in
- 8:17resident caretaker. So I don't know if we're just
- 8:19like talking around someone's house and they're in there just
- 8:22like eating their Cheerios or something.
- 8:24I mean, if if your historic house is at a public park, then
- 8:27I think it's fair to have people like hanging out, hanging around
- 8:30as if not loitering, you're like.
- 8:31We're not loitering. The park is open till 10.
- 8:33Yes. So we are here during park
- 8:35hours, but I think that's normal.
- 8:37Yeah, it had a huge basement. So the top of the basement has
- 8:41like windows, like clear windows that you can just like see
- 8:44through. I just had an idea, what if I
- 8:47had a house like that with a basement that big.
- 8:48I would do like a show where like teenagers just like gather
- 8:53in this basement to just like kick back, watch shows, just
- 8:57mess around and like maybe based in the 70s.
- 9:00Oh my God, that'd be pretty cool.
- 9:02I was. Like Jerry, I was like, why does
- 9:03Jerry want to own a house and bring teens over?
- 9:06No, it's a show. An idea for a show.
- 9:10I understand the reference. I did an app verse.
- 9:13Crazy. All right, well, what do you
- 9:16say? Like should we get started?
- 9:18Yeah, what do you want to? Do first.
- 9:21OK, so let's lay out some some just steps that we're going to
- 9:24do we're going to take. I'm going to sit down at this
- 9:27bench. It's right in front of we're
- 9:29right next to the steps. I will then equipped my
- 9:33soundproof headphones. I will ready my app and cover my
- 9:38eyes. OK.
- 9:39So we're going in first, you don't want to do, you want to do
- 9:41perimeter with like the the EMF detector.
- 9:45Oh, oh, we, I mean, yeah, we could totally do that.
- 9:47Let's see if maybe we'll find us.
- 9:48One of these benches is a little more active than the other.
- 9:51OK. All right.
- 9:52We will pick the bench with the most activity.
- 9:55OK, please hold. Please hold O2 ambulances.
- 9:58First case of weird behavior. 2 ambulances just pulled up next
- 10:03to the parks that we're at, one with its lights on and one
- 10:08without it. Oh well, I guess maybe that one
- 10:12took a wrong turn. They're.
- 10:13Probably looking for the address.
- 10:15Whoa. OK, crazy, there it is.
- 10:22Oh damn, now I feel like we shouldn't be watching.
- 10:26No one did walk out. It's in my nature, the itches
- 10:29muscle. It's.
- 10:30Taken over me, give me the. Give me the broom, let me start
- 10:34watering the the driveway. I'm gonna start raking the
- 10:38leaves to this park that's not mine.
- 10:40We need to start watering the pavement.
- 10:43All right. Hey, it's time.
- 10:49EMF time. I'm going to be walking around
- 10:52trying to see if I pick up on any electromagnetic field
- 10:54changes, spikes. I will be conscious that I have
- 10:57an electronic device right in front of me.
- 10:59Yeah, but I will. Hold it so you have it.
- 11:01Rent away from me? No, I have not.
- 11:02Turn it on and we'll see see if it reacts to the microphone.
- 11:07Like hold it closer to you. Check 1-2 three.
- 11:10OK, check 1-2 three. You see little spikes here and
- 11:13there. If we hold them together.
- 11:14OK, now I'm going to hold it here and.
- 11:17That's our base one. 2-3 check. 1-2, three, check. 1-2 three.
- 11:20Nothing is happening so I'm just going to hold it right in front
- 11:23of me. Hello, walk around.
- 11:26Any spirits nearby haunting the house?
- 11:31Well, that second story window is creepy.
- 11:33You see, that's the one I keep looking to.
- 11:34Like point up there with like the broken blinds, That's scary.
- 11:41Hello, if there are any spirits around us, we mean no harm,
- 11:54we're just here to. Say hi.
- 11:58We just wanted. To check out this house, I'm
- 12:01sure there's a lot of history here.
- 12:04This device I have in my hand just senses spikes in the
- 12:08electromagnetic field around us. So if you were to come close to
- 12:12it, it would show me different colors indicating that there is
- 12:16a spike in activity. So feel free to go ahead and
- 12:22touch the device. If you can interact with the
- 12:25device, I promise you it will not hurt you, nor will we.
- 12:29We are just visitors and we respect all that are present.
- 12:36The light scared me. Automatic.
- 12:38Light. Automatic light scared me again.
- 12:39Do you think there's raccoons around here?
- 12:43Yeah, for sure. Well, it does a junk.
- 12:57Scared myself. I thought something moved on the
- 12:59top floor, but it was just the curtain.
- 13:02If I walk into some shuffling spider web, that's going to
- 13:05suck. Another light.
- 13:09At least it smells really pretty around here it.
- 13:12Does. There's so much stuff in the
- 13:19basement, just like covered up. Yeah, that's a cool table.
- 13:22Cool. Accessible.
- 13:28Did it spark? It is sparking.
- 13:30Look at that. Hello, is there anyone in this
- 13:34corner? Oh, we're next to a window with
- 13:35a red light. It's not reflecting anything,
- 13:40right? No, OK, there is something
- 13:46causing some, some spikes, significant spikes.
- 13:52If you look around me, there is no cords or.
- 13:56We did a whole perimeter of the building and this is the only
- 13:59place that spiked. We're just missing the two
- 14:01benches up front. Shortly I will be connected to
- 14:06another device, a phone. It's a piece of it looks like a
- 14:12window, almost a window that's showing radio signals and
- 14:19picking up on transmissions that you might be able to interact
- 14:22with so shortly. If you would like to follow me
- 14:25to a bench, you can interact with the radio on my phone that
- 14:32will help you translate or communicate with me.
- 14:36Follow Jerry. He's really nice, he's really
- 14:39friendly. He just wants to talk to you.
- 14:42Oh, I just heard something. There are people inside the
- 14:45house. I got so scared.
- 14:51You just heard that too, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:55There's people slamming their doors.
- 14:57There might be people in the house, if not, we just heard
- 15:00some banging which was pretty cool.
- 15:04The device is still going off, just a heads up.
- 15:06Really. Yeah.
- 15:07And we heard banging. I don't see any movement through
- 15:10any of the windows upstairs. Maybe the upstairs is dark.
- 15:22Boy, that scared me. A little loud and clear we did
- 15:27You happen to be recording? Did you see me move around?
- 15:36OK. OK guys, we're going to start
- 15:38our our S diss a method, OK? I am going to now sit on the
- 15:43bench. Oh so once again, if there is
- 15:56anything or anyone present that is a spirit, a friendly spirit,
- 16:01there is a device sitting or placed next to me on this bench.
- 16:06It will once again illuminate in different colors.
- 16:09If you choose to get close to it and interact with it, it will
- 16:14not harm you. If you were inside making
- 16:26noises, you can come outside and talk to us.
- 16:30Just walk next to the device so it'll light up.
- 16:32It just lets us know you're nearby.
- 16:38Are you not coming out because it's cold?
- 16:40I'm cold. What was the weather like 100
- 16:46years ago? How?
- 16:48How's that global warming treating you?
- 16:51Can you feel Hello, ghost. Can you feel the weather?
- 17:00Kind of silent? No, no, there's no spikes aside
- 17:06from that thumping inside the house.
- 17:08You you know what would be cool? If we had like a pulse?
- 17:11Trackers. I can track our our heart rate.
- 17:13Oh my God. That'd be pretty cool, to be
- 17:15honest. Let's wear our Apple Watches
- 17:16next time. I didn't charge you.
- 17:19I haven't charged it for the past like 2 years save so none
- 17:22of my exercise has been tracked or count.
- 17:25None of it is counted. OK, I think it's a good time to
- 17:28start. I mean, once again this device
- 17:30is here placed next to me. If I move it, nothing happens.
- 17:36OK. But if you would like to
- 17:37interact with this and now the device that I will be holding,
- 17:42it is just a radio transmission that cycles through the stations
- 17:46and you should be able to pick up or communicate through that
- 17:51device. Is it as a as a little like a
- 17:55dictionary? Just pick out whatever words you
- 17:58want to use that you hear through the radio waves.
- 18:02Now of course like. Friendly things.
- 18:04Yes, friendly things not once again, we won't hurt you.
- 18:07The devices won't hurt you. I do feel like a little like
- 18:12like like some anxiety right now because I think we're about to
- 18:15get started. So I'm nervous about it now, but
- 18:17I mean, once again, I mean nothing any harm.
- 18:22I'm here respectfully and I appreciate your time.
- 18:26I feel a little adrenaline just because of the crazy noises.
- 18:29I've I've been looking inside the house like through all the
- 18:32all the windows and it sounded like it was right next to us.
- 18:37It did like if like if a window closed or something or like or
- 18:39like a cabinet. Yeah, and it did.
- 18:43It was right after I commented that there's looks like there's
- 18:45a bunch of old stuff in the basement, like all covered up.
- 18:49Whoa. What if something moved?
- 18:52OK, Are you ready this bike? Oh, OK, well, I'm gonna leave
- 18:56that there. I'm.
- 19:00Yeah, maybe they want to sit on your right hand side.
- 19:02Oh, oh, oh, I wonder. Move it a little closer to you.
- 19:11I wonder if the metal of The thing is messing with it.
- 19:16Whoa. OK, so it did spike a little bit
- 19:20in that corner. If you're sitting next to Jerry,
- 19:26you want to make it go a little higher, Just wave your arm
- 19:30around it, move your body towards it.
- 19:35I hated that sound. OK, so we're we're going to do
- 19:40the Estes method, which uses a spirit box.
- 19:43Jerry has an app that's going to cycle through a bunch of
- 19:45different radio stations, radio frequencies.
- 19:48And the idea is he's going to have noise cancelling headphones
- 19:52on so he won't know what my questions are.
- 19:54And he's just going to recite whatever he thinks he hears
- 19:58through the spirit box and hopefully that it'll gets rid of
- 20:03any kind of bias because he doesn't know what I'm asking.
- 20:08I do right now. I do right now because of my
- 20:11headphones are off, but these are bows.
- 20:13I just got these for Christmas. They're really good.
- 20:16When I put these on, Dosa has to physically like touch me too,
- 20:20tell me that she's talking to me.
- 20:24That is all. Just make sure you're holding
- 20:25that mic up to your face. OK, we're ready.
- 20:29Yes, let's do it. Oh my God that's so loud.
- 20:36OK, so Jerry is blindfolded and he has a noise cancelling
- 20:44headphones on. He should not be able to hear
- 20:46me. OK, Is there anyone here, anyone
- 20:54that's still walking these walls of the Bradford House?
- 21:00Did you live here? Central.
- 21:06Central Like are you somewhere inside the house?
- 21:11Like a central room. Well, these are really loud.
- 21:31What happened to you here? Questions.
- 21:37I'm I'm asking you questions. What's your favorite colour?
- 21:42I'm scared guys, do you like oranges?
- 21:49Come from a big family of oranges.
- 21:57You a boy or girl? Wait.
- 21:59I need to pause. Oh, he's pausing.
- 22:07He's laughing. What?
- 22:08Hello, I was like it went too quiet really quick.
- 22:10Out of time. What?
- 22:12Consider a premium subscription. Oh they got it.
- 22:16I'm going to do 2 and 8 and a month and I'll cancel it right
- 22:18after. OK, I paused the recording while
- 22:21we set but I do want y'all to know.
- 22:22I just heard another sound from inside and I still don't see any
- 22:26kind of movement. And it's early by the way, it's
- 22:30like 8 O 3. So unless they have an early
- 22:33morning, whoever lives here, I'm a little.
- 22:37Scared. OK, I'm going in.
- 22:40OK, round two, remember Jerry, say whatever comes to your your
- 22:45eardrums, just say it out loud. Yeah, I will.
- 22:47It's yeah. No, no, sometimes I like, it's
- 22:50just like a, you know, so like I, I just don't choose to say
- 22:53that. But I'll I'll say that it's
- 22:54gibberish. Or something.
- 22:55Yeah, if you just hear a word. OK, is this.
- 23:02Gibberish. Yeah.
- 23:05Yeah. Just full yeah.
- 23:08Silence. Unless you hear a word.
- 23:10OK. Complete silence.
- 23:12OK. Did you explain what this is
- 23:15again? OK, cool.
- 23:16Yes, I wouldn't. Is going in for round two OK?
- 23:21Inappropriate. Is US asking you questions
- 23:25inappropriate? You ask for questions.
- 23:30Wait, can you click the button Hello?
- 23:36Which button do I press? It starts the bottom.
- 23:38The big white button, yeah. Need your help.
- 23:42Oh my goodness, you need my help.
- 23:46OK with what? What can I help you with?
- 23:54Do you have something you need to say to someone?
- 24:02If you have a message, I'd be happy to hear it.
- 24:13Any any news? Any news about what?
- 24:18If you want news about the current state of our country,
- 24:20it's a little scary. 100 years later, still racist.
- 24:30Intention. My intention, oh, we just want
- 24:34to talk to you. We're coming at you, just
- 24:36wanting to see what's hanging around this building.
- 24:40Serve jobs. I think the ghost is saying we
- 24:46need to find T-Mobile. T-Mobile.
- 24:49How did you know I had beef with T-Mobile this week?
- 24:54That's not fair. It was Am I getting read by a
- 24:58ghost? Tell me more about this drama I
- 25:01had with T-Mobile. Shove Shove.
- 25:08You want me to move? Video Network.
- 25:14I think they're manifesting. We get sponsored.
- 25:18T-Mobile, if you're listening to this, please sponsor us.
- 25:21I know I had to beef with you, but I'll take it back for a
- 25:23check. Transgression.
- 25:29Transgression. Protect the dolls.
- 25:37Yeah, we stand by that. Protect the dolls.
- 25:38But what are you, do you know any trans people?
- 25:41Was there trans? There had to be trans people in
- 25:42the 1900s. Laugh.
- 25:46Laugh. I wonder if it laughed or just
- 25:49said the word laugh. Do you think I'm funny?
- 26:01Do you think I'm cute? Are you a boy or a girl?
- 26:05You didn't answer my question earlier.
- 26:08Who are you? Trans?
- 26:09They them I. Didn't get that part.
- 26:14What reminder guys, I have no idea what is being said through
- 26:22his headphones. Earlier you said you had a
- 26:25message for us. I'd like to hear it.
- 26:34Nothing. Are you just like a ghost in
- 26:38passing? Did your wires get crossed?
- 26:42Are we like on a Ley line or something?
- 26:52Do you know that you're dead? Just for the record guys, like I
- 27:02am getting stuff but it's just hard to decipher what it was.
- 27:07I think the problem here is Jerry's mental dictionary.
- 27:15It's thesaurus. What did you used to do for fun
- 27:20in the 1900s? Struggle.
- 27:23Oh no. Why were you struggling?
- 27:26You were like an heir to like the orange.
- 27:29High. Industry.
- 27:32Yeah. I assumed you're like high
- 27:35society. Did something happen?
- 27:39Was there like a drama? A scandal?
- 27:42Is that what the news is? Is that the message you're
- 27:45trying to tell us? I'm asking you too many
- 27:50questions too quick. Please let me know.
- 27:59Handsome. They do think I'm handsome guys,
- 28:04I'm flirting with the ghost. Wait, I, I, I need to know, are
- 28:08you a boy or girl? Because that's going to
- 28:10determine a lot that would. Be.
- 28:15Yes, go on. It sounded like no, it's like
- 28:23allied that. Oh, you're an ally?
- 28:29What do you less? Less you want less questions.
- 28:37I was coming out and kind of hot with back-to-back questions.
- 28:42I'm so sorry if I overwhelmed you.
- 28:50So you think I'm handsome? I'm single, ready to mingle.
- 28:58God, Mom. Oh, you lost me at both of
- 29:04those. I'm not particularly religious.
- 29:07Some of like the voices coming through are like super deep and
- 29:09scary. Oh.
- 29:11OK, as a reminder, we are only here to talk to.
- 29:14Friend, our depart, our depart. Do you want to leave?
- 29:21Are we, are we done here? Ow ow are you?
- 29:29Are you going through something? Emotional pain.
- 29:33Physical pain. Contradict and the.
- 29:45Did you have a painful death? There's no reports of any crazy
- 29:59that's occurring here, just natural.
- 30:02Natural death could be painful. What if you had consumption or
- 30:05something? Was consumption around in the
- 30:081900s? Who knows?
- 30:09That hero Federal, you were pissed.
- 30:15Oh shit, this council has face efficiently Nancy.
- 30:32Who's Nancy? Oh, you have to research.
- 30:35Was there Nancy? Next.
- 30:39Next. Who's next?
- 30:42You're painting a very scary picture of murder and the
- 30:45military. Did you die in the military?
- 30:49Did you go off to war? Without something.
- 30:59Did you? Did you leave Nancy behind and
- 31:04you died in the war? Is that who your message is for?
- 31:06Is it for Nancy? Is that it?
- 31:10Is that what's your message to Nancy?
- 31:21You're not Nancy, right? Should I call you Nancy?
- 31:35Jerry's whole vibe is stressing me out.
- 31:38He's just like they're shaking his head.
- 31:39And so doctors. Doctors couldn't what?
- 31:50Could they not heal the person who died or while they were
- 31:54dying? Coins.
- 31:57It was too expensive to heal them.
- 31:59To the next, this is. Guys, I'm I'm trying to piece
- 32:10together the drama here. I'm trying to get the tea for
- 32:12you guys. Someone died.
- 32:17That's the gist of it. Like.
- 32:23You liked Nancy, but you went off to fight and you died or you
- 32:27got injured, and the nurse, the doctor and the nurse could not
- 32:32help. So you're trying to get a
- 32:36message to Nancy who you left at home?
- 32:40Hey, buddy. I didn't like that one.
- 32:44I did not like that one. Don't.
- 32:46I don't. I don't like being called.
- 32:55More clapping. No clapping, more destruction.
- 33:06Did this all happen here? Are you like a travelling spirit
- 33:10ghost? Oh my God, how much longer
- 33:16should we do this? It's getting Factory a ghost.
- 33:20OK, I said spirit. He said ghost.
- 33:25There's no factory nearby. Closest thing is Cheesecake
- 33:27Factory and but that's like a ways over there.
- 33:37I don't know if it's getting colder, if I'm getting chills.
- 33:39Gonna try this Brian. Kinda.
- 33:41OK, let's switch. OK.
- 33:44He, he, he. Hi guys.
- 33:46It is Brian. So unfortunately during the
- 33:50section where I was trying the s s method with the headphones on,
- 33:53we forgot to press record on our handheld mics.
- 33:55So I'm so sorry if the next portion of audio is a little
- 34:00loud and you hear a lot of background noise.
- 34:03We're trying our best, OK? We need your love and support in
- 34:07these trying times. But please listen clearly
- 34:10because some of the things that came to my ear were so scary and
- 34:14spooky. I do appreciate good.
- 34:21The radio signals or the radio transmission that you can
- 34:23communicate with us. Through you.
- 34:26Did you or did anything hear or like?
- 34:31I can still hear I didn't. Would anyone like those people
- 34:35who communicate let's blind holding the green?
- 34:38Light. There it is, right?
- 34:39The office. Right in front of me, in front
- 34:44of the stairs, next to a. Box or somewhere I want
- 34:57participation Oh, that one was scary.
- 35:16It was like a yell. We're we tried.
- 35:20What did you try? We're perceived, perceived.
- 35:27They're a pest were. You a person, a clutter.
- 35:36The country as words follow death words follow Visit after
- 36:04you will do. Are you a green hole anymore?
- 36:25OK, yeah, so none of that was recorded through the
- 36:27microphones. I apologize.
- 36:28I'm sorry. I'm fired.
- 36:29I'm taking a pay cut. I know.
- 36:32But someone did leave from the house debunking.
- 36:35Debunking a lot of the scary stuff we heard inside because I
- 36:37heard a. Couple we heard slamming, we
- 36:38heard like doors. We heard some of the cabinet,
- 36:41there was a older gentleman that left the property.
- 36:45I know he was wearing overalls. Yeah, pretty cool to be honest.
- 36:48Once again, maybe he was freaked out.
- 36:49Maybe he was just like, I'm fucking tired of this shit.
- 36:51If we were less socially anxious, we probably could have
- 36:53been like, hey, can we ask you a couple questions?
- 36:55Are you in a rush? Yeah.
- 36:57I'm sorry. I didn't record, friend.
- 36:59It's OK, Don't worry about it. Like, like we mentioned, this
- 37:01was pretty creepy at times because there were some things
- 37:04that I heard. Like, for example, I heard a
- 37:06ghost clear as day. Yeah.
- 37:08At the same time I I told him spirit.
- 37:10So I mean, overall it's it's creepy hearing just words
- 37:15blurred out into your ears. And these are really like good
- 37:18quality headphones. So once again, they you hear
- 37:21clear as fuck. Some of the tones and the voices
- 37:24are pretty creepy. Yeah, they're like booming.
- 37:27Yeah. But yeah, it's pretty crazy,
- 37:29like. You know what's crazy?
- 37:32And from what I remember hearing in yours and mine was a lot of
- 37:38talk about like war. I, I got, I got a couple
- 37:43governments. I got a couple of, you know,
- 37:46political things like shot into my ears.
- 37:50I know. I think at one point I called
- 37:51you green. Green.
- 37:53You're green. It's me.
- 37:58Our videographer has gone rogue. We Brian, I I think you said
- 38:03some crazy things to be honest. Like the God bless the massacre.
- 38:06The God bless got me. That's when I knew we were done.
- 38:09It's like, yeah, I mean, I said massacre.
- 38:13That's like, yeah, I could have. Sworn you, I don't remember.
- 38:16Damn roll. The tape's really cold.
- 38:21It is cold sitting there and then just hearing things and you
- 38:24can't see anything. It makes me feel like I'm so
- 38:27vulnerable to everything. Yeah, but also, this park is
- 38:31pretty lively. Yeah, it is.
- 38:32There's like lots of people like walking around with dogs.
- 38:34Yeah, there's a lot of people. People living in the house.
- 38:39What would you say? What would you rate this
- 38:41experience? Not haunted.
- 38:43I think I was more scared on the Queen Mary.
- 38:45The Queen Mary's creepy guys. I think especially now that we
- 38:48confirm that there's a guy that walked out OK, We heard noises
- 38:51inside. It was a guy.
- 38:52It was a guy, so. Clumsy guy.
- 38:55If you're listening to this guy, so sorry, but you're clumsy.
- 38:57You'd be slamming stuff. I know he was doing a purpose to
- 39:00scare us. Let.
- 39:02Me scare this they might leave right after we didn't.
- 39:05OK, we're not scared. I hope you guys liked our our On
- 39:09the Go podcast. It was pretty fun to be.
- 39:11Honest, I like these microphones.
- 39:12These microphones are cool once again.
- 39:14Thank you Melissa. I want to use these way.
- 39:18More I do too. We're going to start doing maybe
- 39:21not street interviews, maybe just anytime we go to a cool
- 39:26place, we'll we'll, we'll do podcasts on On the Run.
- 39:30We should get shirts. But do you like BJ on the run?
- 39:33It could be like, really, how much Brian and Jerry?
- 39:37Yeah, they're only for us, not for you.
- 39:39Gee. Oh my God.
- 39:40I thought you talked about the shirt.
- 39:42No, we are not offering anything of the sort.
- 39:46I was. Talking about the shirt.
- 39:47We'll come in, we'll come and explore your haunted house.
- 39:54You have a place you want us to try out?
- 39:56We'll give it a shot. Behind us if you yeah, if it
- 40:01would be with your permission or your parents or whoever's living
- 40:04their permission let us let us come through let us set up our
- 40:07phones, tripods. Hey, guys, we're done here.
- 40:12We're done. We survived.
- 40:14It wasn't that scary. 2 out of 10 scary.
- 40:18It's scary. It's spooky.
- 40:19Yeah. The scariest part was the.
- 40:22The the Estes method No, no being in the dark with
- 40:25headphones on and just being out in pulling somewhere that was a
- 40:28scary. Part You're at a park, at a
- 40:29bench. Bradford House not that scary.
- 40:321.5 out of 10, yeah. But what's what's next?
- 40:35Tonight is the Bradford House, tomorrow Whaley House.
- 40:41Stay tuned. We made a quick pit stop man to
- 40:48the Yorba Linda Historical Cemetery.
- 40:51Guys, there's a plaque here established in 1858.
- 40:55What were you doing in 1858? I wasn't a thought.
- 41:00My dad wasn't a thought. My grandpa was in a thought.
- 41:03My great grandpa was in a thought.
- 41:04Where were you January 6th, 1858?
- 41:08Whoa, there is. History speaks softly.
- 41:11The Yorba Cemetery captures Orange County's rich Rancho
- 41:14history. In 1858, Bernardo Yorba deeded
- 41:18this parcel to the Catholic Church or cemetery.
- 41:21More than 150 years later, Yorba Cemetery continues to offer a
- 41:25glimpse into Orange County's early Rancho days.
- 41:28Long before freeways and housing tracks to find the landscape,
- 41:31Yorba had claimed this land. His Rancho, Canyon de Santa Ana,
- 41:35became a base of operations for cattle ranching and farming.
- 41:38His large Adobia Santa became the center of activity for those
- 41:41who called the Rancho home. In this cemetery, headstones and
- 41:45grave markers pay tribute to Bernardo Yorba's family and
- 41:49neighbors. It is the final resting place
- 41:52for elders and infants, farmers and ranch hands, a midwife and
- 41:56Mason, and others who are connected to this land by birth,
- 41:59marriage or employment. Over 400 people are buried here,
- 42:03their lives documented in stone or timber.
- 42:05In the cemetery, history is revealed quietly.
- 42:08Is this open during the day to like walk through Oh.
- 42:14I mean, this is clearly an old cemetery that has gravestones
- 42:20and yeah, right, those are gravestones.
- 42:22Yeah, but. They're right there like we
- 42:26could see the clear as day and. It's like a just a dirt field
- 42:29with headstones. Yeah.
- 42:35This kind of reminds me of a place I want to go to in Pomona
- 42:38that I wanted to go to for the longest time, the Spadra
- 42:41Cemetery. This is kind of what it's like,
- 42:43but that one's also closed because of vandalism and stuff.
- 42:46Yeah, that makes sense. I think I read that like back in
- 42:50like the 70s people were like grave robbing and like opening
- 42:53them up and stuff. So they cemented over it.
- 42:55Yeah, well, this one is how many years old?
- 42:59Over 150 years old, 1858, yeah. We do have the AMF reader on the
- 43:05bench directly outside of the cemetery.
- 43:10Yeah. No activity yet, you know, but.
- 43:13Yeah, I don't want to egg anything on here.
- 43:15This is like this is old. I wonder if how long your dad
- 43:22has any impact on your spirit. Should your spirit be hanging
- 43:26around? Good.
- 43:28Question. We say we did a quick little pop
- 43:37in, but this is kind of out of the ways to get over here.
- 43:39I thought it was so much closer. Yeah, to the Bradford a little
- 43:42farther. The view is beautiful, like
- 43:45there's a bunch of hills with a bunch of pretty lights.
- 43:50What if we're doing like a impromptu Estes method, but I
- 43:56just put my headphones on so it looks more casual and I'm not
- 43:58sitting down with a blindfold over my eyes?
- 44:00And the tennis players, There's another side.
- 44:03Oh, that's a walk. We're walking the perimeter of
- 44:06this place because we can't walk inside.
- 44:10You know what the what I'm most scared of in this this
- 44:12situation? What's up?
- 44:13Getting yelled out by Karen? We are in like a very
- 44:16prestigious neighborhood. You know, I like, I'm used to
- 44:24going to cemeteries, Pan Diones and Mexico and stuff, and
- 44:29honestly, those give me the creep.
- 44:30Genuinely, I've never, I don't think I've ever been in one.
- 44:33But if I see them, any kind of movie or anything, that's scary.
- 44:36Yeah, I've, I've been to some in Mexico and honestly they're
- 44:39pretty creepy, but I'm not getting like I don't feel bad
- 44:44vibes. I don't feel energy.
- 44:46I don't feel, once again, I don't feel like heavy energy so.
- 44:48It might because we're in the middle of suburbia.
- 44:50And there's a lot of lights. It is a very lit neighborhood.
- 44:52If there were no lights, we're walking.
- 44:53Across. Or around a cemetery.
- 44:56That would be way different. I'd probably be eating my words
- 44:58right now, but. Yeah, it's pretty well lit.
- 45:01It's as happens in a upper class neighborhood.
- 45:04Yeah, you never are in the dark. OK.
- 45:09I think this is a good spot actually.
- 45:13I am going to turn on the. Yeah, like it's just.
- 45:15You brought your headphones. I did bring my headphones the
- 45:17EMF reader I. Was really bright.
- 45:21Oh, it gets like a little. All right.
- 45:24You think I can place this on the Bush?
- 45:27Yeah. OK.
- 45:32Jerry is so much braver than I am, by the way.
- 45:35Hello, my name is Jerry. My name is Brian Ola Minomres.
- 45:42We. Have a podcast?
- 45:47We are here with the utmost respect.
- 45:52We are here visiting. In front of me there is a box
- 45:57with a yellow or green light. If you would like to walk up to
- 46:03it and interact with it, touch it.
- 46:06We mean no harm. My friends here and myself mean
- 46:12you no harm. Once again, we are friendly if
- 46:16there if there are any friendly ghosts or spirits that would
- 46:20like to communicate with us, please interact with the box.
- 46:31I wonder if like being outside of a like the on the perimeter
- 46:35of the cemetery might. There's no way this gate that I
- 46:39can literally see through will have any impact.
- 46:41I'd be shocked. Maybe.
- 46:44Also, these are the only marked graves, we don't know what's
- 46:47buried outside of them. It's so true.
- 46:52That's a. That's a.
- 46:54Yeah, there could be some bodies buried under that friggin tennis
- 46:56field where people are playing right now.
- 46:58There's a tennis court right next to the historical Yorba
- 47:01Cemetery. I know who approved these plans.
- 47:03OK I will be putting on my headphones and starting the app.
- 47:10Give me one SEC. No, there's like nothing visible
- 47:19inside of there, by the way, OK, I know you guys are just
- 47:22hearing. Am I putting my?
- 47:26Blindfold on No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 47:28Don't worry about it. OK?
- 47:29We are we do not belong in this neighborhood.
- 47:31We do stick out slightly me and jury on all black so whatever
- 47:33limits as looking shady as possible.
- 47:35I'd prefer OK, I will just close your eyes behind me and it's
- 47:42live. OK, hello.
- 47:47Are you aware that you're dead? There's quite a few of you
- 47:54buried here, over 400 of you. I'd like to talk to just one if
- 47:59you're friendly. I'm not live yet.
- 48:01Oh, I'm over here asking questions and Jerry's not ready.
- 48:07Well, as soon as you hear that little device, it's going to
- 48:10flip through a bunch of different radio waves.
- 48:13The idea is you can channel those waves to say words to
- 48:16Jerry and answer my questions. So back to my question.
- 48:21If you answered it once, please answer it again.
- 48:23Is there anyone here? Do you know that you're dead?
- 48:27Weather It is. The weather is a little cold.
- 48:31I do feel a little chilly. Up to.
- 48:40We're, what are we up to? We're here just recording our
- 48:42podcast. It's this, this modern age thing
- 48:49where two people, usually men, usually straight, but I'm not
- 48:51straight talking to a microphone.
- 48:53That's what I'm holding. And people listen.
- 48:58Do you have anything to say? We'd be happy to relay a message
- 49:03for you. Hunter.
- 49:15Were you a hunter 150 years ago? I know this land has changed a
- 49:25lot in the last 150 years. What was it like living here
- 49:30from where I'm from? I'm from here but I'm Mexican
- 49:39and descent. I'm assuming you guys are
- 49:41Mexican? I've learned Espanol can.
- 49:52You. See us.
- 50:18Nicely. Oh, I'm waving.
- 50:22Most Lib. Can you make something rustle?
- 50:27Can you like move one of these tree branches?
- 50:30I see a lot of them. Exit.
- 50:35Do you want us to leave? We don't mean to disturb you in
- 50:38any way. I do hear stuff coming from
- 50:49either across from us or in the cemetery like I heard shuffling.
- 51:00Are any of these graves yours? If you'd like to say anything at
- 51:14all, we'd be happy to hear. Very.
- 51:22Very, very cold, very talk. Am I?
- 51:28Am I too talkative? Through this.
- 51:30Yeah, yes, talk through this. How are you?
- 51:36I'm I'm good. How are you?
- 51:43In 20. 20 No, I'm 29, just turned 29.
- 51:49Franchise. Like a like a Chick-fil-A
- 51:53franchise. Because.
- 51:56Why do you ask? Because why?
- 51:57So I. Were you 29 too?
- 52:01Or were you 20? Were you pretty young when you
- 52:03died? How do you feel about all these
- 52:11houses coming up in your land? What's this all about?
- 52:19Well, there's a long history of imperialism and manifest destiny
- 52:26and colonization. Or yours.
- 52:32In your time here, did you know any of the indigenous people?
- 52:35I know it's only been 150 years, I don't know my timeline, but
- 52:42the EMF detector just went off. Are you indigenous?
- 52:48Is there any indigenous people here?
- 52:50The Star. Oh my God, I do see the stars,
- 52:55which you normally don't. Is this how you knew where you
- 53:00were at the stars? That eventually.
- 53:07They are pretty bright today in a way they normally aren't.
- 53:16Do the stars mean something? Did you use them to navigate?
- 53:21Cried. Pride.
- 53:28You cried. Did you cry when you die, or did
- 53:31people cry for you when you died?
- 53:37If I I. Just saw like a something shift
- 53:40over there by those big tombstones.
- 53:48Is that you making yourself known look like a little trick
- 53:52of the light you're trying to the invite?
- 54:00Well, thank you for the invite, but I can't go inside.
- 54:04Should be. I agree you should be able to,
- 54:07but you can't trust people these days to not respect your resting
- 54:12area. Meanwhile you can just see from
- 54:22here and respectfully anger country.
- 54:30You and me both are angry at this country.
- 54:34If only you. Honestly, I really don't want
- 54:37you to see what's happening these days.
- 54:41It might not be much different than what you dealt with in your
- 54:44timeline. If you have any last words or
- 54:53anything final you want to say before we say goodbye, please do
- 54:59so now. We just got very, very cold.
- 55:08Like my hands are getting cold. A few moments.
- 55:12I can have a few more moments with you if there's anything
- 55:14else you want to share, please. It's Adam is.
- 55:18That your name Adam, nighttime Adam.
- 55:28OK, we're going to be out of going to be leaving here in the
- 55:32next couple moments. Thank you for talking to us.
- 55:38And if that was you moving around by that grave, thank you
- 55:44for letting me see you. But you can go back to resting.
- 55:46If I thought, what do you think? I think if I if I think about it
- 55:54too much, I'd get scared. But I do think that was you.
- 56:01I would love to know what names on that grave site.
- 56:05OK, thank you. If your name is Adam.
- 56:08Thank you, Adam. Thank you to anyone else that
- 56:10might have said anything to us. We will respectfully leave you
- 56:16here. It's been great.
- 56:20OK. We're done here, yes?
- 56:22OK, we are done here. Thank you to anything or anyone
- 56:26that communicated through this thing in my hand.
- 56:30Once again we're here respectfully.
