Day 230. Jeremiah 23-25
God condemns the false prophets who claim to speak for Him while leading the people astray with messages of false peace. In contrast, God promises faithful shepherds and announces the coming of a righteous Branch who will reign with justice. Jeremiah then declares that Judah’s refusal to listen will result in seventy years of Babylonian domination. God’s judgment extends beyond Judah to the surrounding nations, demonstrating His authority over all kingdoms.
