- 1:46Speaker 3: Easton Ellis set said in nineteen eighty one, it's about
- 1:51Speaker 3: a By the way, this show is very nepotastic. It
- 1:54Speaker 3: said in nineteen eighty one, A mysterious teen shows up
- 1:57Speaker 3: to this elite LA prep school right around the same
- 2:00Speaker 3: time a lot of murders are happening around La. Seems coincidental. Wow, this,

- 4:33Speaker 3: the trailer, you'll see h a whole lot of people
- 4:37Speaker 3: you would have expected to see on his Florida man.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I was gonna say, so all of the connections that
- 4:42Speaker 4: he made doing Tiger King paying off now?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh yeah, this looks very interesting. And on Friday,
- 4:52Speaker 3: the USA Network has a new original drama which I
- 4:55Speaker 3: haven't said since about two year two thousand.
- 4:59Speaker 2: No, it's been a while.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Anna Pigeon, based on the popular novel series by Nevada
- 5:09Speaker 3: Bar which.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm sure is a real name.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It is, I know her, Oh yeah, your name, her
- 5:13Speaker 1: name is Nevada ray Bar. Oh she she used to be.
- 5:17Speaker 1: She was an actress and she was married to my
- 5:19Speaker 1: roommate in New York what at the time, and she
- 5:24Speaker 1: they got divorced, and she decided to become a novelist,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and she was a national She was also a national park.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That's what this is about.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, this is this is Anna Pigeon played by Tracy
- 5:35Speaker 3: speardocus from a Chicago PD She got out of the
- 5:38Speaker 3: Sea City. Now she works as a park ranger and
- 5:41Speaker 3: she solves mysteries in the park. I don't know what
- 5:43Speaker 3: kind of mysteries you run across in the park and say,
- 5:46Speaker 3: it's like a reverse McCloud exactly. Yeah, And you got
- 5:49Speaker 3: a lot of good scenery, so you got that to
- 5:51Speaker 3: look at. Also, co stars in this Tricia Helfer like
- 5:56Speaker 3: that a scar Galactica, Melanie Garfano from UH went on
- 6:00Speaker 3: to IRB, Paulina Alexis from Reservation Dogs, and Kim Coates
- 6:05Speaker 3: from American Primeval and Sons of Anarchy. So you got
- 6:08Speaker 3: a pretty stacked good cast.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's she became quite wealthy writing those books.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and UH.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Also on Friday, wrapping up the new stuff for the week,
- 6:19Speaker 3: Ricky Gervas's Alley Cats the cartoon.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It's not for kids. It's not for kids.
- 6:25Speaker 3: No, it's there's lots up until just like a week ago,
- 6:28Speaker 3: it was just titled Alley Cats, and they added Ricky
- 6:31Speaker 3: Gervas's name to it.
- 6:32Speaker 2: He's a he created this and he's one of the voices.
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's about a pack of alley cats run together and
- 6:37Speaker 3: cause trouble in the and they're British. That's on Netflix,
- 6:42Speaker 3: and uh, it's just I don't I don't think cats
- 6:45Speaker 3: traveling packs.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I don't think they're friendly to other cats.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but uh, voices besides Ricky Gervasion here include Diane
- 6:55Speaker 3: Morgan from Kunk on Earth like her?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and what do you mean you don't know?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Didn't you ever see the cartoon top Cat, top Cat? Yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 1: that's that's a deep catch top Cat. He had a
- 7:08Speaker 1: whole gang with him all the time.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Well there's there's precedence for this then, and uh, yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 3: it's a it's a little bit filthy, not for the kids.
- 7:17Speaker 3: But if you want something that's completely sick, wrong and filthy,
- 7:21Speaker 3: I think I mentioned it a couple of weeks ago,
- 7:23Speaker 3: This new cartoon on to be Breaking Bear the voices
- 7:26Speaker 3: of A. Brendan Fraser and uh, Sarah Michelle Geller. It's
- 7:30Speaker 3: about about bears dealing meth in the woods. It's all
- 7:35Speaker 3: kinds of sick and wrong. And in the first episode
- 7:39Speaker 3: r F K Junior showed up. Sure, in the third episode,
- 7:42Speaker 3: Jeffrey Epstein showed up. Why I know, I know.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's all over the place. Wow. So if you're looking
- 7:47Speaker 2: for a filthy cartoon, it's free on to be.
- 7:52Speaker 1: If you've never seen American Prime Evil, I would suggest
- 7:55Speaker 1: you go find it.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's Netflix, I believe, I think so. Yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And as a matter of my wife's never seen it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: So I saw the whole thing or started watching it
- 8:03Speaker 1: last night. Okay, I've forgotten how good it is, even
- 8:06Speaker 1: though it's directed by uh. He used to be in Chicago,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Hope and then he became an Peter Berg. Peter Berg
- 8:14Speaker 1: who I don't care for much. But this is really
- 8:17Speaker 1: good and uh he plays like what Brigham young? Right,
- 8:22Speaker 1: that's Kim Coates. Yeah, yeah, and uh and uh uh.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And there's a great Jim Bridger played by Shay Wigham.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Hole yeah, and he's really good too, Okay, excellent.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And Betty Gilpin. You cannot go wrong with that, everybody,
- 8:40Speaker 2: And uh yeah I did.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Uh I watched Supergirl last week now it's available on demand.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah I can, I can now. I can understand a
- 8:49Speaker 3: lot of the negative reviews. It's not your traditional, uh
- 8:53Speaker 3: origin story for a superhero super heroin I do like
- 8:57Speaker 3: that they kind of stepped out of the out of
- 9:00Speaker 3: the normal superhero show. But it's just it's a bit
- 9:02Speaker 3: of a mess. And I really like that actor that
- 9:08Speaker 3: plays her. Yeah it's Millie Alcock. Yeah, she's good in it.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Jason Momoa shows up his Lobo. There's just enough of
- 9:17Speaker 3: him to get keep from getting.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Tire of sprinkling of Lobo. There can easily be too much.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and uh yeah, I'd still recommend it though
- 9:27Speaker 3: it's it's still a fun watch.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's just it's not your typical superhero show at all.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Well, and that's what that's what James Gunn wanted to do,
- 9:37Speaker 4: is because everyone's complaining about your typical superhero show, so
- 9:40Speaker 4: he gives them something different than they bitch, you.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Can't win, you can't win. It does at least have
- 9:45Speaker 3: a couple of big fight scenes. You gotta have at
- 9:48Speaker 3: least got to have those, and it definitely.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Has those for sure.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Watched the Dink.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Oh, Jake Johnson, Pickleball, Pickleball, Yeah, oh yeah, the Pickleball.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I'd say the best part is Ed Harris, he's good,
- 10:04Speaker 3: his deep hatred for pickleball.
- 10:06Speaker 4: He's good. Patton Oswald, everybody, yeah, in the cast is hilarious.
- 10:12Speaker 4: But yeah, it's it's worth a watch. It's worth a watch.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not when you're gonna remember, you know, but
- 10:21Speaker 4: distraction for thirty minutes exactly.
- 10:23Speaker 2: You can see the act.
- 10:25Speaker 3: They did actually show restraint because they could have drug
- 10:27Speaker 3: dragged this out into a series eight episode series and
- 10:30Speaker 3: I said, no, let's just make a movie.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Let's just make a movie. And that's good for them
- 10:34Speaker 2: and Mary stein Brgin Yeah, yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 4: And it's just hilarious to watch Jake Johnson falling in
- 10:42Speaker 4: love with her and she just says, no, I'm not
- 10:45Speaker 4: physically attracted to you at all.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Straight up.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Apparently she'd never played pickleball before this, and she said
- 10:53Speaker 1: I heard an brief interview with her and she said
- 10:55Speaker 1: they had tennis pros on yeah, to help coach them,
- 10:59Speaker 1: and she said, I have now fallen in love with
- 11:02Speaker 1: and become addicted to pickleballs all the time.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Okay, there you go. Yeah, it's it was not bad.
- 11:11Speaker 4: What again, it's it's not when you're gonna remember, it's
- 11:14Speaker 4: not like that. But thank you, Bill Frost, Bill Frost,
- 11:17Speaker 4: Bill Frost dot TV. Yes, all right,
