Dune (1984) (Movie History, Plot Breakdown, & Pairings)
This week we cover a movie which David Lynch has disowned, and we discuss why that might not be a bad decision. We also discuss the things we like about big budget Lynch, and why this is such an important step on David Lynch's directorial journey. We, then, dive into the plot, and talk about the things we liked and didn't like. Finally, we each pair the film with another for a pair of double bills.
