- 1:36Speaker 1: we would truly appreciate it.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so thank.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You in advance.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I am on one, Yeah you are. And I'm just
- 1:42Speaker 1: going to apologize in advance. Somebody's got to bring the
- 1:46Speaker 1: energy to this fucking show. Wow, you're welcome. No, not
- 1:49Speaker 1: this show. I'm talking about Sister Wise. Oh yes, yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm just trying to infuse it, girl with It's a lot,
- 1:57Speaker 1: it's so boring.
- 1:58Speaker 2: And I saw a video so on TLC saying that
- 2:02Speaker 2: next week's episode is the mid season finale, and I'm like,
- 2:04Speaker 2: what does that mean? Are you saying we're only halfway
- 2:07Speaker 2: through this shit after twenty episodes?
- 2:10Speaker 1: But absolutely not.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I'd better not be So where did you see that?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Because I immediately started to panic, just with the idea
- 2:18Speaker 1: that we would be here for twenty more episodes of
- 2:20Speaker 1: season nineteen.
- 2:21Speaker 2: TLC's Instagram page said next week is the mid season finale?
- 2:27Speaker 2: What the mid season finale?
- 2:29Speaker 1: I don't understand that, girl, So I don't either. What
- 2:32Speaker 1: we've heard is that it's going to be a season
- 2:35Speaker 1: of twenty six episodes, which I can see if like
- 2:39Speaker 1: four of those are talkbacks or look backs or fall back,
- 2:45Speaker 1: big back, big backt bit. But I mean, I can
- 2:49Speaker 1: see that if we've got some talkbacks. But what are
- 2:51Speaker 1: we doing for I don't know, seven more episodes? I
- 2:54Speaker 1: don't what are we doing because in the scene with
- 2:57Speaker 1: Cody and his weird ass vampire family out on Coyote Pass,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Robin says it's the end of summer. Yeah, and we
- 3:05Speaker 1: have Cody in his talking head referring to the Coyote Pass,
- 3:10Speaker 1: marshmallows and vampire children right scene. So was this the
- 3:15Speaker 1: end of summer twenty twenty three or twenty twenty four?
- 3:19Speaker 2: I don't fucking know.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I think it was twenty twenty four. I think when
- 3:23Speaker 1: they're out having their picnic that Garrison has passed, and
- 3:26Speaker 1: all of the talking heads from him and Robin with
- 3:29Speaker 1: her vampire black blouse, was after Garrison pass.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's terrible. That's terrible. If so, guess they're talking about
- 3:37Speaker 2: how this is the last place the family was all
- 3:40Speaker 2: together and how gorgeous this piece of property is and
- 3:43Speaker 2: how they don't want to sell it, which is really
- 3:45Speaker 2: fucking shady. If true, girl, I don't know. I can't
- 3:48Speaker 2: keep the timeline together. I'm just like, how are we
- 3:52Speaker 2: gonna have more than twenty episodes in this season? I'm like,
- 3:55Speaker 2: what do we live?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Well, But when you think about the fact that seventy
- 4:00Speaker 1: episodes were dedicated to a wedding special and a run
- 4:04Speaker 1: up to a wedding special that we had already seen,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I guess the rest of the episodes are like the
- 4:09Speaker 1: actual footage we've been waiting for. But I'm still bored.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I doubt it. People are saying, well, I said a
- 4:14Speaker 2: couple weeks ago about how it's going to be the
- 4:16Speaker 2: honeymoon stuff with Christina and David.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It ain't going to be they went to Europe or something.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I don't think there was cameras with them. There's not
- 4:22Speaker 1: going to be any honey.
- 4:23Speaker 2: They didn't film that shit. I think they watch us
- 4:27Speaker 2: have a honeymoon special at the end of this and
- 4:30Speaker 2: then we'll see that next season as well.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I can't. I'm telling you, I'm going to start to
- 4:35Speaker 1: flip out this podcast. I am going to start like
- 4:39Speaker 1: interpretive dancing. I'm going to start fucking shadow boxing. I'm
- 4:42Speaker 1: so upset at this entire season. It's like if we're
- 4:45Speaker 1: also going on a honeymoon with Christina David, I won't.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Be able to take it. I won't be able to
- 4:52Speaker 2: take it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I can't do it anyway. So now let's get into
- 4:56Speaker 1: a recap of this episode entitle season nineteen, Episode nineteen, Yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 1: entitled Behold I Come Like a Thief. Oh that was good. Yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 1: that was production giving some low key, high key shade
- 5:11Speaker 1: because you know, Cody and Robin, they're the thieves.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Oh, one hundred percent, we can see it. I mean,
- 5:16Speaker 2: would kind of start getting into that because we have
- 5:18Speaker 2: Janelle in North Carolina. She's visiting Maddie and all the
- 5:21Speaker 2: grand babies and stuff, and she's getting all of her
- 5:23Speaker 2: documents together because she retained a lawyer, and they want
- 5:27Speaker 2: all of the financial documents squared away so that way
- 5:31Speaker 2: they can basically prove legally that they all contributed to
- 5:35Speaker 2: Coyote Pass. So they're all they're all entitled to, like
- 5:38Speaker 2: equal share in theory.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I guess you can litigate against the
- 5:44Speaker 1: spirit of what the agreement may have been. But we
- 5:48Speaker 1: have Janelle sitting here at Mattie's Island admitting that she
- 5:51Speaker 1: was stupid.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and she was.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Because all of those people allowed Cody to put his
- 5:57Speaker 1: name on each parcel and also so Robin to put
- 6:00Speaker 1: her name on more than one. So two, I think
- 6:03Speaker 1: she's got two parcels. Yeah, and so he and she
- 6:07Speaker 1: definitely have the Lion's share legally in terms of titles,
- 6:11Speaker 1: they have the Lion's share of ownership. And you all
- 6:14Speaker 1: allowed this to happen. Now, can you get an attorney?
- 6:17Speaker 1: And can you refer back to maybe footage from even
- 6:20Speaker 1: this episode when he's talking about them getting their twenty
- 6:22Speaker 1: five percent?
- 6:23Speaker 2: For sure?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we point to that to talk about the spirit
- 6:27Speaker 1: of the agreement. Yes, but does that mean they're going
- 6:30Speaker 1: to prevail? Not necessarily, They're probably gonna end up settling.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I would hope. So I hope they all settled in
- 6:37Speaker 2: like an equal ish way. But yeah, they're kind of
- 6:40Speaker 2: they kind of screwed themselves. And Janelle even says that
- 6:43Speaker 2: in this scene. She's like, I don't know who decided
- 6:47Speaker 2: how the properties were going to be divided, and I
- 6:50Speaker 2: don't know how we got on to it, Like I
- 6:52Speaker 2: don't know.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Why, don't you know?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Well, because it's fucking Janelle and Mary. They trusted Andy, well, yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 2: but Christine peaced out, she didn't give a shit about
- 7:00Speaker 2: her heart.
- 7:01Speaker 1: My husband purchase property and me not have an idea
- 7:06Speaker 1: about how he's tidling and where the ownership is going,
- 7:09Speaker 1: like that would never in a million years happen. And
- 7:12Speaker 1: I understand I'm a monogamist and I'm not a polygamist,
- 7:16Speaker 1: but that's why they outlawed polygamy because it is patently
- 7:20Speaker 1: unfair to women, and women lose out and they don't
- 7:23Speaker 1: have anything, and they have nothing to leave their children.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And guess what, Janelle, it wasn't different for you. It
- 7:28Speaker 1: wasn't different for you. Mary, y'all get nothing.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Well, but you weren't indoctrinated into this cult though, and
- 7:34Speaker 2: this fundamentalist religion. I think these women genuinely believe that
- 7:37Speaker 2: Cody was gonna do good by them, and then now
- 7:40Speaker 2: they're realizing, oh fuck, we were dumb. And Janelle even
- 7:43Speaker 2: says it in this episode, she like, I was stupid,
- 7:45Speaker 2: Like I totally was dumb with how this was legally divided.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Now I just want to get my fair share and
- 7:50Speaker 2: piece the fuck out because this is the only thing
- 7:52Speaker 2: that she has tied to Cody, right.
- 7:54Speaker 1: But when you hear her and Mary talking on this
- 7:57Speaker 1: call about how they notice things that were happen happening. Yeah,
- 8:01Speaker 1: what they're saying is, well, Janelle is saying outright, like
- 8:04Speaker 1: I saw that he was taking out money and sometimes
- 8:07Speaker 1: it was a lot of money, and I didn't know
- 8:09Speaker 1: where that money was going. Yeah, and Mary's talking about
- 8:13Speaker 1: having seen the way things were happening in the family
- 8:17Speaker 1: and not understanding what was going on. And I just
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm sitting here and I shouldn't be sitting in judgment
- 8:23Speaker 1: of these grown ass, big aged women with businesses of
- 8:27Speaker 1: their own, but like I'm judging them. Yeah, like, how
- 8:30Speaker 1: could you let this happen? And it's not just about you,
- 8:34Speaker 1: It's about your children. It's about what you're leaving behind
- 8:37Speaker 1: for your children. And fair enough, Janelle, you've got a business, now,
- 8:40Speaker 1: you've got plexus, you've got your own flower farm and
- 8:44Speaker 1: your retreat space and it sounds lovely in everything, but
- 8:47Speaker 1: like you were owed more, for sure, and you should
- 8:50Speaker 1: have demonstrated responsibly to your children, especially your girl children,
- 8:54Speaker 1: that you've got more, that you've got your fair share.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It just makes me mad. Yeah, I get mad.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Well, hindsight, it's twenty twenty, you know, It's like I'm
- 9:01Speaker 2: super mad at them too, But at the same time,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, I guess I understand, Like, how could
- 9:06Speaker 2: you have known that your family was going to be
- 9:08Speaker 2: fucking imploded in two years during COVID, Like how could
- 9:11Speaker 2: you have known that Cody and Robin were going to
- 9:13Speaker 2: do this? I mean, look, the writing was on the
- 9:15Speaker 2: fucking wall obviously, like we've been seeing it, the viewers
- 9:18Speaker 2: have been seeing it. People have been shouting it from
- 9:20Speaker 2: their rooftops for fucking decades now, So I mean I
- 9:23Speaker 2: get it, but it's like, what can you do now?
- 9:26Speaker 2: And now Janelle and Mary are having to deal with
- 9:28Speaker 2: the fucking legal repercussions of this shit, like having to
- 9:31Speaker 2: get lawyers involved because Cody is literally dragging his feet
- 9:35Speaker 2: and says in this episode that Mary and Janelle are
- 9:39Speaker 2: asking for him to do a favor and asking for
- 9:42Speaker 2: him to be their servant, but he doesn't want to
- 9:45Speaker 2: do it. He's not interested in doing it. They should,
- 9:47Speaker 2: you know, do all of the footwork.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, why aren't you guys doing it? You guys
- 9:51Speaker 1: want it so bad, then drag your happy asses back
- 9:53Speaker 1: to flag Staff and you do all this leg work.
- 9:55Speaker 1: And if they did, and for all intents and purposes.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Janelle should she's the one with the real estate education
- 10:02Speaker 1: and or license. I don't know if she's licensed in Arizona.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I know she was in Vegas, but like she could
- 10:06Speaker 1: probably lend her expertise to the selling of this property.
- 10:11Speaker 1: But if she even tried, do you think Cody would
- 10:14Speaker 1: actually let her make any decision, pick the realtor have
- 10:19Speaker 1: anything to do with the appraisal?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Of course not no, But she like legally can't do anything.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Just same thing with Mary. Because Cody and Robbin's names
- 10:26Speaker 2: are on everything, and Cody's name is on the entire.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Property, legally they can compel them to sell. So hopefully
- 10:32Speaker 1: it's not going to come to that. Hopefully it's not
- 10:35Speaker 1: going to go in front of a judge, and hopefully
- 10:37Speaker 1: they don't have to litigate that because they're going to
- 10:39Speaker 1: have to spend a lot of money just to get
- 10:41Speaker 1: something that is rightfully theirs. Yeah, which is unfortunate, But
- 10:46Speaker 1: we'll see what happens. I mean, I think that Cody
- 10:49Speaker 1: is telegraphing to the women and to us that he
- 10:53Speaker 1: wants to be fair, because he said that repeatedly, and
- 10:57Speaker 1: you know, to the commenter who said just because he
- 10:59Speaker 1: says he's going to be fair, doesn't mean it's going
- 11:01Speaker 1: to be equal to that person. I mean, I'm actually
- 11:04Speaker 1: happy to hear him say this week that it's twenty
- 11:06Speaker 1: five percent when they get their twenty five percent. Now,
- 11:10Speaker 1: maybe he just wants to give them both twenty five
- 11:13Speaker 1: percent and then him and Robin keeps seventy five percent.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm not sure, but hopefully he means he wants to
- 11:18Speaker 1: give them their fair shared a quarter each.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I mean, I hope. But then he's saying the same
- 11:23Speaker 2: shit about how they didn't actually contribute equally to the property,
- 11:27Speaker 2: because Janelle is talking to Mary and is like, yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 2: we all contributed to the family pot. We all contributed
- 11:33Speaker 2: equally and paid it off equally, and then cut to
- 11:35Speaker 2: Cody being like, well, actually we didn't because I paid
- 11:38Speaker 2: for an entire parcel all by myself.
- 11:41Speaker 1: With what funds exactly, And weren't those funds com mingled
- 11:44Speaker 1: with the rest of the family in an LLC exactly?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Like what are you talking about? Unless he's talking about
- 11:50Speaker 1: when Christine signed over her plot of land to him
- 11:55Speaker 1: and Robin. Is that his plot of land that he
- 11:59Speaker 1: purchased for ten dollars when he made that agreement with Christine, Like,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I don't know, like he's crazy. That might be what
- 12:05Speaker 1: he's referring to.
- 12:06Speaker 2: That would be really funny to me if that's what
- 12:07Speaker 2: he's referring to, because he says ninety two percent of
- 12:10Speaker 2: the property he's paid for, And I'm like, so ten dollars, right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: We need your ten dollars that you negotiated with Christine
- 12:16Speaker 1: so she could get out of the relationship.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Like, there's no way you have the money to like
- 12:21Speaker 2: pay for this whole thing. That's why you needed Mary
- 12:23Speaker 2: and Janelle to contribute a quarter of it to pay
- 12:25Speaker 2: off the entire fucking thing, which was like almost a
- 12:28Speaker 2: million dollars or whatever worth of land.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So I don't know, dude, But I mean last Thanksgiving
- 12:33Speaker 1: when Mary is running over to Cody and Robin's house
- 12:38Speaker 1: after Janelle tried to sit down with her and warn
- 12:40Speaker 1: her that there was some like funky shit going down,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and she tattles on Janelle like she's cutting a check
- 12:47Speaker 1: in that conversation, right, And you're still not getting clarification
- 12:52Speaker 1: as to what this entitles you to, having already had
- 12:55Speaker 1: to pay for Leon's college and Leon's car after all
- 13:00Speaker 1: sitting a precedent of contributing way more than you ever
- 13:03Speaker 1: received back. You're still cutting a check to these people
- 13:07Speaker 1: and not asking for clarification, I e. This entitles me
- 13:11Speaker 1: right to one quarter of all of the land, right,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and getting it on camera, right. I mean, you're fifty
- 13:16Speaker 1: three years old. You should know that you should be
- 13:18Speaker 1: doing this.
- 13:19Speaker 2: But this is Mary that we're talking about. I mean,
- 13:21Speaker 2: even in this episode, she's saying shit like, well, I
- 13:24Speaker 2: just never thought Cody would be capable of something like this,
- 13:27Speaker 2: Like even after our legal divorce, people were telling me
- 13:29Speaker 2: that he might be capable of all this shit, and
- 13:31Speaker 2: I didn't believe him. And even now, like it's really
- 13:34Speaker 2: hard for me to accept that he might be capable
- 13:36Speaker 2: of doing this. It's like, what do you mean, Like,
- 13:39Speaker 2: how are you not.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Well, she's so paradoxical, Like on the one hand, she's
- 13:44Speaker 1: like I just believed him, he would never do this
- 13:47Speaker 1: to me, and then on the other hand, she's like
- 13:50Speaker 1: everybody has an agenda and none of us trust each other.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So she talks out of both sides of her mouth
- 13:56Speaker 1: and she's been doing it the entire time. Yeah, Mary lies,
- 14:00Speaker 1: which is why like just taking it like in a
- 14:02Speaker 1: different direction. For a moment. It's so confounding to me
- 14:06Speaker 1: that she is holding herself out as some kind of
- 14:09Speaker 1: expert for worthy up. I keep seeing on my Instagram
- 14:12Speaker 1: timeline her like in these seminars and like a Mormon
- 14:16Speaker 1: blazer with all these middle aged women in her like audience.
- 14:20Speaker 1: And I don't know what she's teaching people. I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: know how she's motivating people. But Mary, even now as
- 14:28Speaker 1: you're trying to come to terms with what's happening with
- 14:30Speaker 1: Coyote Pass after having lost everything and giving away your
- 14:34Speaker 1: rights as legal wife, even now you're losing, I know
- 14:40Speaker 1: you're losing.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, And honestly, whoever's doing those reels for her, like
- 14:44Speaker 2: those little advertisements else they're terrible and like get a
- 14:48Speaker 2: millennial to like do your production and your ads for you,
- 14:51Speaker 2: because they're really bad.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Well, it's not showing me what you're teaching. No, it's
- 14:54Speaker 1: not even demonstrating like what I'm going to be getting
- 14:57Speaker 1: if I go to your seminar. It's just trying to
- 14:59Speaker 1: set you up some sort of an authority. But on
- 15:01Speaker 1: what like on finances, no, and being a business person, No,
- 15:07Speaker 1: on being a relationship expert, No, on being a Mormon no,
- 15:11Speaker 1: what are you teaching me? I don't know. I'm done crazy.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you're.
- 15:16Speaker 2: So fucking judgmental. She's like actually helping people like change
- 15:20Speaker 2: their lives and hashtag worthing up.
- 15:22Speaker 1: By being an example of what not to do. And
- 15:24Speaker 1: we have to infer it because she can't fucking say it,
- 15:26Speaker 1: because she doesn't know how to conduct her own life.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Right. Well, she's gonna have a podcast, so she's going
- 15:31Speaker 2: to give some information.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Oh my god, salty birches. I know, I will, I
- 15:35Speaker 1: will listen, I will, I will give it a shot.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, hopefully it's better than Maddie's. Yes, yikes. And
- 15:42Speaker 2: then we have Christina and David going down to mob.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Snory. I don't care.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's like, kay stupid, it's so tough. I don't care.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I literally can't stand it.
- 15:56Speaker 1: So exhausted.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I did look up their Airbnb though, because she's so
- 16:00Speaker 2: excited about it, and like, I wonder how much she's
- 16:01Speaker 2: charging a night for this airbnb and fucking moab utah,
- 16:05Speaker 2: four hundred and fifty dollars minimum a night and it's
- 16:08Speaker 2: a two night minimum. And actually Ethel was looking at
- 16:12Speaker 2: her Airbnb app, and she was looking at some dates,
- 16:14Speaker 2: and some of them are like six hundred dollars a night,
- 16:18Speaker 2: six hundred dollars for that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And that is the availability. Is she like booked and busy.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Like two months booked out? Well, good for Christine, that's great.
- 16:27Speaker 1: If the market's gonna pay it, why are we hating
- 16:30Speaker 1: get your hand?
- 16:31Speaker 2: That's so expensive. It's half of a town home, like
- 16:33Speaker 2: it's like a duplex. Yeah, like in Moab. I don't know.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I'm just like, it's no Sedona, it's no like Malibu.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's no like nice fancy, but it's moapp.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot of money. But I think people
- 16:44Speaker 1: are paying for it.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I think she's.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Leveraging like the Sister Wives Cashet of course, and people
- 16:49Speaker 1: who are obsessed in a dumpster with all things sister
- 16:54Speaker 1: Wives who are willing to come out of their pocket
- 16:56Speaker 1: a thousand dollars pay or twelve fifteen hundred dollars plus
- 17:01Speaker 1: you know she's charging a cleaning fee, yeah, and all
- 17:03Speaker 1: those other feests and services. You're paying a lot of
- 17:07Speaker 1: money just to go to Moab and sleep in the
- 17:09Speaker 1: shrimp room, honey.
- 17:10Speaker 2: For two nights.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It is crazy?
- 17:14Speaker 2: Why?
- 17:14Speaker 1: But you know people will do it, and I know
- 17:16Speaker 1: she's not a stupid person. No, I mean, well, I
- 17:19Speaker 1: don't know what scientifically, like if there was a test
- 17:22Speaker 1: time she might be. But I'm just saying, yeah, she's
- 17:25Speaker 1: taking advantage of a market that wants to pay her money,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and I'm for it.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And look, I mean she has spitting some truth in
- 17:31Speaker 2: this segment. She's talking about like how women, especially in
- 17:35Speaker 2: fundamentalist Mormonism, like don't have a chance to like own
- 17:38Speaker 2: their own businesses and like being controlled their finances, and
- 17:41Speaker 2: that's what she's always wanted to do. Yes, she throws
- 17:43Speaker 2: some shade to some of the family businesses and stuff,
- 17:46Speaker 2: and we see some clips about that, because you know,
- 17:49Speaker 2: she would have some ideas for like T shirts, like
- 17:52Speaker 2: why don't we sell T shirts instead of we're clunky
- 17:54Speaker 2: ballsack jewelry. And then Cody shits on her for that,
- 17:58Speaker 2: like she had good ideas. She obviously is having good
- 18:01Speaker 2: ideas with this Airbnb.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And I don't want to cheapen our brand with T shirts. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and like a few years later we have Janelle like
- 18:10Speaker 1: selling out a T shirt. You should absolutely do that.
- 18:14Speaker 1: The overhead is really low and people would have been
- 18:16Speaker 1: walking around with your sister wife shirts and you'd have
- 18:18Speaker 1: made money on merch. Are you kids so dumb? They
- 18:21Speaker 1: are so they're so very financially dumb.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Cody and Robin especially well.
- 18:25Speaker 1: They felt bad for Christine because she had an actual
- 18:28Speaker 1: good idea and she immediately got shot down. And then
- 18:31Speaker 1: he did it like even more publicly when they're on
- 18:33Speaker 1: the couch in their talking head and he embarrasses her idea.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It was the only real it was the only good idea,
- 18:41Speaker 1: the only I mean, Janelle, you had your dumb fitness center,
- 18:44Speaker 1: Fundamental Fitness. Yeah, but that could have made it would
- 18:47Speaker 1: have never made any money. The overhead was atrocious. Robin,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you had your ballsack jewelry which never went anywhere. And Mary.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Lula Roe, I mean.
- 18:59Speaker 1: But that was her business. Yeah, I think she brought
- 19:01Speaker 1: a business to the family.
- 19:03Speaker 2: La.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Christine's idea would have actually worked. They would have actually
- 19:06Speaker 1: made a lot of money, and he shipped all over
- 19:08Speaker 1: her and they could have been doing merch this entire time.
- 19:11Speaker 1: They could have been ahead of the wave.
- 19:13Speaker 2: He called it frumpy, which I'm like, was that a direct? Like, yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 2: she's from I was thinking too, Yeah, so fucked up.
- 19:21Speaker 2: But anyway, you know what Christine's making her bag. There
- 19:24Speaker 2: they're driving down to U haul U Haul Moab in
- 19:27Speaker 2: a U haul with all of their bullshit. They have
- 19:29Speaker 2: all the family there to help them, like unpack it
- 19:32Speaker 2: and decorate the place. But on the.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Road, she does remember when they moved from Lehigh to
- 19:40Speaker 1: Las Vegas and as they traveled they got like three separate,
- 19:44Speaker 1: multiple signs at tires. I mean, it was an absolute
- 19:48Speaker 1: travesty and a catastrophe the entire time. It was so
- 19:50Speaker 1: entertaining when we watched it in our rewinds.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And we talked about it, like, how does signs from God?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Maybe God is trying to tell you something, Christine, and
- 20:01Speaker 1: she brings it up.
- 20:02Speaker 2: If there was a sign from God, we got multiple
- 20:04Speaker 2: that night.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Ten of them yep, all the way to Vegas.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yep.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So, which is kind of her admitting in a roundabout
- 20:11Speaker 1: way that that move was a bad decision for the
- 20:15Speaker 1: entire family.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yep.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And she's right, it was.
- 20:17Speaker 2: It was that was the beginning of the end yep,
- 20:19Speaker 2: for sure. And then the only other thing that came
- 20:22Speaker 2: out of this whole segment with Christina d is Janelle
- 20:26Speaker 2: coming over and she comes over without knocking on the door,
- 20:30Speaker 2: and she makes a comment about that because some people
- 20:32Speaker 2: in the family didn't like that idea of no knocking,
- 20:37Speaker 2: like you had to make an announcement knock. And we
- 20:39Speaker 2: panned to Robin, who had rules and regulations come over
- 20:43Speaker 2: into her house. You had to do an announcement knock
- 20:46Speaker 2: so she wasn't startled, so she could feel safe in
- 20:49Speaker 2: her space. Yeah, and she had to come to the
- 20:52Speaker 2: door to let people are in. So obviously there's like
- 20:55Speaker 2: this separation. You know, nobody's really a family with Robin, say,
- 20:59Speaker 2: think with Mayor. Because Mary's walking around in the nude apparently.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I guess. So I didn't want to imagine that, but
- 21:06Speaker 1: here I am thinking about it right now. But yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: so she doesn't want to be startled by somebody coming
- 21:11Speaker 1: on in and seeing her bush what her naked ass?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Yeah, she got a fat cat.
- 21:20Speaker 1: She is rocking a fat cat. Honey, what about Roden? Hmm,
- 21:25Speaker 1: it's getting a fatter right. What might have started what
- 21:29Speaker 1: might have started as a razor blade back in the
- 21:32Speaker 1: day break dancing in a par of diesel jeans. Now
- 21:37Speaker 1: we're puffing out a little bit, we're getting fluffy, we're
- 21:42Speaker 1: rocking a fact cat. Well, I was just looking at
- 21:44Speaker 1: her on County Pass. And I'm going to abstain from
- 21:47Speaker 1: any further statement, but I do want to imply that
- 21:52Speaker 1: she's probably rocking a fat cat. Now that's my that's
- 21:55Speaker 1: my thought.
- 21:55Speaker 2: What about Janelle and Christine?
- 21:57Speaker 1: Janelle's gone back, Christine's gone back. All I think Cody
- 22:05Speaker 1: likes the fat cat?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Probably does? I mean, who doesn't?
- 22:08Speaker 1: Right? Ask my husband, Henny.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Remember he got talk?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Do you remember he called stop talk?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Okay, I'll stop talking.
- 22:18Speaker 2: To And then what else came out of that whole
- 22:22Speaker 2: segment with Christy and David. Nothing.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I think that it was kind of a cool comparing
- 22:26Speaker 1: contrast moment when you saw like all of the people
- 22:30Speaker 1: that David and Christine are actually surrounded by, like her
- 22:34Speaker 1: own kids, his kids, family, friends, Janelle, Like they have
- 22:39Speaker 1: a wonderful family and they're loved. And then you pan
- 22:43Speaker 1: over to Kytie Pass and it's just Cody, Robin and
- 22:45Speaker 1: their vampire children rising up from their crips to take
- 22:50Speaker 1: an axe and hit the firewood. I mean it just
- 22:56Speaker 1: I never see anybody else around them except for like
- 22:59Speaker 1: weird ass manosphere one eye do So, I'm like, do
- 23:03Speaker 1: you guys have friends? Do you have anybody around you
- 23:07Speaker 1: that can stand your presence. I don't see Zayan is
- 23:14Speaker 1: where is. I think he pieced out. I think he's like,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't want any part of this business anymore.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I thought he was still in the RV on their
- 23:21Speaker 2: property though, no, I don't. Did he move out?
- 23:24Speaker 1: So I don't think he wants to be. I hope
- 23:27Speaker 1: that he's somewhere around his father, who I don't know
- 23:30Speaker 1: if you know, but his father was diagnosed with and
- 23:34Speaker 1: so his father has a very sad condition, and I
- 23:38Speaker 1: would just love for some of his children to be
- 23:41Speaker 1: around him. And maybe Daton is spending more time around
- 23:43Speaker 1: David Jessup.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I mean, I hope so we're just like living his
- 23:46Speaker 2: best life in a dorm apartment without his fucking mom.
- 23:49Speaker 1: His weird step dad. I'm like, God, Oh, no, I
- 23:51Speaker 1: guess it's he's an adopted sorry, his weird dad.
- 23:54Speaker 2: His dad.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Well, Cody's static, Oh he got adopted. I guess I
- 23:59Speaker 1: don't want to validate that.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I would be if I was a teenager in that has,
- 24:03Speaker 2: I'd be like, you know, my DoD, you're not my
- 24:05Speaker 2: real dad. That would be me for real, my God.
- 24:08Speaker 2: But let's just get to them. Because they're the last segment.
- 24:10Speaker 2: They're going over to Coyote Pass. Can paint these broken down, rotten,
- 24:15Speaker 2: fucking picnic tables.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, what a weird scene because we are introduced yet
- 24:21Speaker 1: again to that weirdo daddy Paul, uncle dad. Yeah, granddaddy Paul,
- 24:28Speaker 1: uncle Paul or whatever. I remember being introduced to him
- 24:32Speaker 1: when Robin was pregnant, just given birth to King Solomon. Yeah,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and here's this old ass Santa Claus dude with his
- 24:42Speaker 1: fucking camera on his flip phone on her fat cat
- 24:46Speaker 1: who had been there for the birth of like her
- 24:48Speaker 1: other children, looking right up into the vagina baby, seeing
- 24:52Speaker 1: right up into the cervix and into the U to
- 24:55Speaker 1: risk this old fucking man. Yeah, I am side eyeing
- 24:59Speaker 1: that entire cit situation. Why does he need to be
- 25:02Speaker 1: in the room.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Well, back then, she called him her stepdad, so it's
- 25:06Speaker 2: interesting that now she's saying he was actually my uncle.
- 25:09Speaker 2: He's my uncle. Daddy called him my uncle. Like what, Okay,
- 25:13Speaker 2: I don't care about your fucking history though, Robin, Like,
- 25:16Speaker 2: I literally don't care about.
- 25:17Speaker 1: It a little bit. I want to talk about her
- 25:18Speaker 1: right now. Why Because in my mind I had always
- 25:21Speaker 1: thought that she was kind of following in the footsteps
- 25:25Speaker 1: of her mother. Her mother was the last wife incorporated
- 25:29Speaker 1: into a family, and I was under the impression there
- 25:31Speaker 1: were more than two wives, I guess not, and that
- 25:35Speaker 1: her mother had become the preferred wife, yeah, and was
- 25:39Speaker 1: interested in always having kind of a honeymoon experience with
- 25:42Speaker 1: daddy Paul or whatever. And my thought was that there
- 25:47Speaker 1: was like a little bit of bad vibes between those
- 25:51Speaker 1: wives and her Robin's mom.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought so too, but I guess not.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I guess not. I mean the way that Robin talks
- 25:58Speaker 1: about it now. The wife of Paul actually went to
- 26:04Speaker 1: her and said, hey, you know, Paul's a great guy
- 26:05Speaker 1: and you're single, maybe you could be part of our family.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And I just don't believe anything Robin says.
- 26:11Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I don't think it happened like that at all. And
- 26:13Speaker 1: I wonder Beatrice, like, did she have an affair with
- 26:16Speaker 1: that man? Probably because I thought they were living proximate
- 26:19Speaker 1: to each other, but apparently she was living in an
- 26:21Speaker 1: entirely different state. Oh yeah, and Paul and his first
- 26:25Speaker 1: wife were living some did the first wife even know
- 26:28Speaker 1: about Robin's hoh ass.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Mama who fucking knows. Girl.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Well, I'm wondering right now.
- 26:34Speaker 2: That's why I'm saying, like, that's why I don't care
- 26:35Speaker 2: about Robin recounting about her family and talking about her
- 26:38Speaker 2: uncle daddy and everything, because I know it's all bullshit.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I know it's just her fabricating another story, Like she's
- 26:44Speaker 2: talking about her uncle daddy and building these picnic tables
- 26:47Speaker 2: because he wanted everybody to work together and he really
- 26:49Speaker 2: liked their family and blah blah blah, and how close
- 26:52Speaker 2: he was with Cody and how special their relationship was.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck. It's just a it's a
- 26:57Speaker 2: TLC producer a to try and humanize Cody and Robin
- 27:02Speaker 2: and show that they're a wholesome family. And they got
- 27:05Speaker 2: backstories too. Nobody cares. Everybody hates you. Y'all are the
- 27:08Speaker 2: worst people ever.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think every lie they tell actually points
- 27:12Speaker 1: to a deeper truth. And I'm always like on my
- 27:15Speaker 1: sleuthing mission to try and remember, like what you said
- 27:17Speaker 1: last time though, and like what I remember about these people.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I mean, and when they panned to her mother, like
- 27:22Speaker 1: the picture of her mother's all broke down, I know
- 27:27Speaker 1: she's no Annie honey, yeah, she's no Bonnie honey.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 1: First of all, is that like a glimpse of what's
- 27:34Speaker 1: going to happen with Robin?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Oh?
- 27:36Speaker 1: She gets older? Yeah, Cody, you're looking at your future. Ay? Yeah.
- 27:40Speaker 1: And I don't know, it just seemed there's something that
- 27:42Speaker 1: was very sketchy about that. And they talk about how
- 27:45Speaker 1: he had come out to Flagstaff Daddy Paul, Uncle Paul,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and had surveyed the land to help them figure out
- 27:52Speaker 1: whether they wanted to purchase it or not. Like, seems
- 27:56Speaker 1: like he's been in the background quite a lot, but
- 27:58Speaker 1: we've really never had a glimpse into that relationship. It
- 28:02Speaker 1: was so important, like if Robin all of a sudden
- 28:05Speaker 1: didn't feel safe in her world once he passed, Like,
- 28:08Speaker 1: why wasn't he introduced to the storyline.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Well, and that was the only interesting thing about this
- 28:14Speaker 2: was that he also was like in Vegas. He was
- 28:16Speaker 2: some contractor in Vegas. So I'm like, Okay, now you're
- 28:18Speaker 2: confirming that that's why you moved out to Vegas was
- 28:21Speaker 2: to be closer to your family. So uprooting all eighteen
- 28:25Speaker 2: thousand kids yep, from their home life and their families
- 28:28Speaker 2: in Utah to go to Vegas to be next to
- 28:30Speaker 2: your uncle daddy.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And Okay, when we look back at that year that
- 28:35Speaker 1: they moved, we have to remember the way Janelle refers
- 28:39Speaker 1: to it like it was dire, which like finances were hard,
- 28:44Speaker 1: they didn't know how they were going to eat. Some
- 28:45Speaker 1: of those kids were hungry sometimes, and they moved down
- 28:49Speaker 1: they rented those places, and Janelle was like, it was
- 28:51Speaker 1: the most scary situation ever, and yet they did it
- 28:56Speaker 1: all because that's where Robin's family was, exactly, and so
- 29:00Speaker 1: Cody from the very beginning was constantly catering to what
- 29:04Speaker 1: she wanted to do.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yep. And all of the kids that moved were fucking depressed,
- 29:10Speaker 2: like Hunter and Maddie. All of them started acting out
- 29:12Speaker 2: and they were pissed off, and yep, very fucking sad.
- 29:15Speaker 2: And it was all for Robin and her uncle daddy.
- 29:17Speaker 2: So maybe that's why he's been in the background, because
- 29:20Speaker 2: she wanted to keep it on the low. Lo that
- 29:22Speaker 2: that was the reason why they moved to Vegas. But
- 29:24Speaker 2: now we're seeing it at twenty twenty five and she's
- 29:27Speaker 2: saying it outright, Oh right, yeah, my dad worked for
- 29:30Speaker 2: the city of Las Vegas and blah blah blah, Okay,
- 29:33Speaker 2: glad you let that slip.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And the thing is is that the kids knew that
- 29:36Speaker 1: the entire time. Of course, yeah, this guy was probably
- 29:38Speaker 1: around all the time, so they knew that they had
- 29:41Speaker 1: to leave Utah, they had to be uprooted from a
- 29:44Speaker 1: life that they really loved. A lot of those kids
- 29:46Speaker 1: were traumatized. They wanted to move back immediately. I think
- 29:50Speaker 1: Hunter Maddie they went back Logan. They didn't want to
- 29:53Speaker 1: be in Vegas, and so they knew from the very
- 29:55Speaker 1: beginning that this was all happening because of Robin, and
- 29:58Speaker 1: so Robin shouldn't have acted so prize that the kids
- 30:01Speaker 1: didn't warm up to her, especially Hunter, because he took
- 30:04Speaker 1: it the hardest exactly.
- 30:05Speaker 2: But now you want to paint these picnic tables at
- 30:07Speaker 2: Coyote Pass, and you want to fabricate a wholesome family
- 30:11Speaker 2: moment and manipulate the audience into thinking that you guys
- 30:13Speaker 2: are actually good people worth watching and worth caring about.
- 30:17Speaker 1: And it's just.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Ridiculous, Like, I don't care that you're painting these dumb
- 30:19Speaker 2: picnic tables. Why have they been out on Coyote Pass
- 30:22Speaker 2: if they're so important to you? Right? Just literally rotting
- 30:25Speaker 2: away and fucking splintered out and they're all old looking
- 30:29Speaker 2: at rickety, they flip it over and.
- 30:31Speaker 1: What there's symbolic of the love that you had for
- 30:34Speaker 1: this very important man. No, they're trying to create content.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yep.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Oh my god. It just makes me so mad when
- 30:40Speaker 1: I think about them having twenty six episodes. Can you
- 30:43Speaker 1: imagine the dollar signs they saw when they are twenty
- 30:46Speaker 1: six episodes? Like if these people are getting say forty
- 30:49Speaker 1: thousand an episode, that's crazy individually and or together, and
- 30:54Speaker 1: they hear twenty six episodes, they're like, oh, yeah, we'll
- 30:57Speaker 1: have a storyline around Aurora getting baptized, which nobody wants
- 31:01Speaker 1: to see that. We'll have a storyline around I don't know,
- 31:04Speaker 1: painting some picnic tables on Coyote Pass, which nobody wants
- 31:08Speaker 1: to see. Right, So this is what they're doing, and
- 31:10Speaker 1: it is boring af and honestly nobody cares. And I
- 31:14Speaker 1: don't know who I was watching. Maybe it was Nicky Haverstock,
- 31:17Speaker 1: but she's like, I don't know your kids. Yeah, you've
- 31:19Speaker 1: never let us into your home. You've never let us
- 31:21Speaker 1: into your family. We've never talked about the things that
- 31:24Speaker 1: have been happening in your family, and so I'm not
- 31:26Speaker 1: going to cotton and warm up to your kids now
- 31:29Speaker 1: because I haven't been introduced to them. Really, I don't
- 31:32Speaker 1: know them. I don't care.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Literally, Like when Cody starts talking about the girl the
- 31:36Speaker 2: girls having kids, I'm like, I don't fucking care, not invested,
- 31:40Speaker 2: do not care, don't care about their church life, don't
- 31:43Speaker 2: care about them having kids, meeting boys, getting baptized. Literally,
- 31:46Speaker 2: don't show them on my television because they, Honestly, Brianna
- 31:49Speaker 2: and Aurora make me sad because they are just following
- 31:51Speaker 2: in Robin's footsteps and they're kids, like they don't really
- 31:55Speaker 2: know any better. They're like staying their mom. Well I
- 31:57Speaker 2: know their adults, they're under her wing and they live
- 31:59Speaker 2: there with her, and she's fucking abusive. I think. I
- 32:02Speaker 2: mean the way she talks to Ariella about like getting
- 32:05Speaker 2: paint on her shirt and like both her and Cody
- 32:08Speaker 2: start yelling at Ariella, don't lean on the pain, don't
- 32:11Speaker 2: lean on the pack.
- 32:11Speaker 1: That was kind of wild, That's what I'm saying.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So, like, think about how they talk about talk to
- 32:16Speaker 2: those kids in the house when the cameras are on
- 32:18Speaker 2: there and they're like shitting on Ariella for having a
- 32:21Speaker 2: little worm on the table.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I'm like, because she's a naturalist. Well yeah, it's becoming
- 32:25Speaker 1: a naturalist like Charles Darwin. Right, Yeah, it's ridiculous. I
- 32:30Speaker 1: just I don't like them.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I don't like seeing them on my TV. I also
- 32:33Speaker 2: hated this whole scene because they're doing this on Coyote Pass,
- 32:36Speaker 2: knowing that Mary and Janelle want to fucking sell and
- 32:39Speaker 2: get their fair share on it, and they kind of
- 32:41Speaker 2: bring it up, but then Robin shoots it down because
- 32:44Speaker 2: Cody's like, well, maybe I can talk them into like
- 32:47Speaker 2: keeping the pond, Like, maybe I can keep part of
- 32:49Speaker 2: this beautiful, gorgeous piece of land.
- 32:53Speaker 1: The syphilitic prairie dog pond exactly, Yeah, with floating syphilis. Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 1: so great, absorb.
- 32:59Speaker 2: It right into got please, honestly, please.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like a fecal runoff, fucking raccoon shit and everything
- 33:07Speaker 1: in your weird ass murky ass pond dive right in
- 33:11Speaker 1: weirdos honestly.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And then they just talk about how they don't want
- 33:15Speaker 2: to sell it now because it's so magical, the moments
- 33:17Speaker 2: that they get to create on this land that nobody
- 33:20Speaker 2: else gets to create because you refuse to build on it,
- 33:23Speaker 2: and you refuse to actually divide it in a way
- 33:25Speaker 2: where everyone got their fair share and could build on
- 33:27Speaker 2: it like Janelle. Janelle had to live on it in
- 33:29Speaker 2: a fucking RV.
- 33:30Speaker 1: But being of which, how come Janelle had to ask
- 33:33Speaker 1: permission to put her RV on somebody else's plot on
- 33:37Speaker 1: their land, right? But meanwhile, they get to go out
- 33:39Speaker 1: whenever they want, do the ATVs, they get to have
- 33:42Speaker 1: their picnics, they can do the fire pit without getting
- 33:45Speaker 1: permission from anybody else. How is that fair?
- 33:47Speaker 2: Because they have their names on it. Mm hmm. That's
- 33:49Speaker 2: why they probably use that over everyone else's heads. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 2: And then you wonder why Janelle and Mary don't think
- 33:56Speaker 2: you're going to be fair, and you wonder why they're
- 33:58Speaker 2: getting lawyers because you're not involving them and you're not
- 34:02Speaker 2: interested in doing any of the footwork. You're not interested
- 34:05Speaker 2: in doing them favors and being their servant to try
- 34:10Speaker 2: and divide this up in a fair way. You just
- 34:11Speaker 2: want to lord it over everybody and then camp out
- 34:15Speaker 2: on it and split wood and roast hot dogs.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yes, and get the complete enjoyment of the property that
- 34:20Speaker 1: is in dispute in terms of ownership and it is galling. Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 1: there was that one interchange between Cody and Robin where
- 34:29Speaker 1: he's like, well, maybe we should keep it. I mean,
- 34:31Speaker 1: maybe we can afford it, and Robin says something like, well,
- 34:34Speaker 1: we can afford it, but we also have to afford
- 34:37Speaker 1: other things. And that is one thing that got me
- 34:40Speaker 1: to think. This is the summer of twenty twenty four,
- 34:42Speaker 1: This is just a few months ago. This is right
- 34:45Speaker 1: before they put up their property for sale. This is
- 34:49Speaker 1: them knowing that they're going to be looking for a new,
- 34:51Speaker 1: upgraded McMansion, so they're already thinking about where their money
- 34:55Speaker 1: needs to go. And Cody seems to have been on
- 34:58Speaker 1: kind of a low key campaign to give an impression
- 35:01Speaker 1: that he really can't afford things. He can't pay off things,
- 35:04Speaker 1: he doesn't have the money for things. But I think
- 35:06Speaker 1: he's got the money for things, and he's right on
- 35:08Speaker 1: the precipice in this scene of selling and purchasing the
- 35:11Speaker 1: new place.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I feel like they have just enough money for certain things,
- 35:15Speaker 2: but they don't have as much money as they're like
- 35:17Speaker 2: giving off. Because Robin's the one that brings up like, well,
- 35:21Speaker 2: we have to afford other things, but Cody's the one
- 35:23Speaker 2: that's like very flippant with money. And we even had
- 35:26Speaker 2: that talk earlier with Janelle and Mary where she's talking
- 35:29Speaker 2: about where the money went, and Janelle saw Cody's spending
- 35:34Speaker 2: all of this money out of the family plot, and
- 35:36Speaker 2: Cody makes that stupid comment Will I was married to
- 35:39Speaker 2: other women besides Janelle, so it wasn't any of her
- 35:42Speaker 2: business where I spent the rest of the money. It
- 35:45Speaker 2: was going to other people and other families, meaning sure
- 35:48Speaker 2: him and Robin.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Right, but don't you remember I think it was last
- 35:52Speaker 1: season Janelle said, I saw where the money went. I
- 35:54Speaker 1: saw what was being purchased. Do we really need all
- 35:57Speaker 1: of that?
- 35:57Speaker 2: Right?
- 35:57Speaker 1: Shouldn't we be putting that money towards KYO? So that's
- 36:00Speaker 1: just another indication that Janelle maybe did no more than
- 36:05Speaker 1: she's letting on.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I agree, though, Yeah, I don't think
- 36:09Speaker 1: that they have a ton of money. I believe the
- 36:14Speaker 1: rumors that we were hearing. I think somebody like a
- 36:17Speaker 1: realtor reached out to Nikki Haverstock.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I said that there.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Were multiple loans against the original mcmansin that was highly leveraged,
- 36:25Speaker 1: and so any profit that they got from that property was.
- 36:30Speaker 1: It was not gonna be like seven hundred thousand dollars.
- 36:32Speaker 1: It was going to be much diminished as a result
- 36:34Speaker 1: of those loans. We know they had a trust, that
- 36:37Speaker 1: four hundred thousand dollars trust, but I don't think that
- 36:40Speaker 1: they were flush with cash. But I mean, I think
- 36:43Speaker 1: they had probably heard by the time they're out with
- 36:47Speaker 1: their marshmallows on Cody Pass, if it was last summer,
- 36:50Speaker 1: they had already heard that they were going to have
- 36:51Speaker 1: twenty six episodes, and so they were already counting their
- 36:55Speaker 1: coins and they're like, yeah, it's let's go for the
- 36:57Speaker 1: two point one million dollar mansion. We can afford it.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Gonna be making so much money. And that's maybe why
- 37:03Speaker 1: they did it.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yeah, probably because they're really fucking dumb, So they probably
- 37:07Speaker 2: did do all of that. And then that's why Cody's
- 37:09Speaker 2: also charging one hundred and fifty dollars per cameo and
- 37:12Speaker 2: trying to get as much money as he can and
- 37:14Speaker 2: going to all these weird little gun shows and stuff
- 37:17Speaker 2: like that. They're trying to scrape up whatever they can
- 37:20Speaker 2: to afford that twenty thousand dollars mortgage.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna come do honey, I knows Your Wives
- 37:26Speaker 1: is going to close at some point in the next
- 37:28Speaker 1: two to five years.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Dude, it should be canceled after this season.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Honestly, they're already filming though, so we already know there's
- 37:34Speaker 1: going to be a season twenty. But like, after season twenty,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I'm like, what are we doing? Because honestly we're bored
- 37:39Speaker 1: with Christina and David. Honestly, Mary, you're not giving anything
- 37:42Speaker 1: but haunted bm B, it's giving graveyard. I'm dead, I mean,
- 37:47Speaker 1: and Janelle, it's kind of interesting. I'd like to see
- 37:50Speaker 1: your dating arc and like, hey, what you're doing with
- 37:52Speaker 1: your retreats? But like I mean, am I on the hook?
- 37:55Speaker 1: Am I totally interested? No? I'm interested for the utter
- 38:00Speaker 1: complete downfall of the Robin. Yes, I'm interested in opening
- 38:04Speaker 1: the books. I'm interested in the lawsuit with Christine Honey
- 38:07Speaker 1: for child support. I'm interested in Discovery. Yet I'm interested
- 38:11Speaker 1: in that. Yeah, is that what Tilc's going to give us? However, No,
- 38:14Speaker 1: it isn't.
- 38:15Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 38:15Speaker 1: It's not gonna give.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Us that, And they're gonna continue to platform Cody and
- 38:19Speaker 2: Robin and give them money, which everybody's saying, don't nobody
- 38:22Speaker 2: wants to see them in their vampires.
- 38:24Speaker 1: What are they gonna do if you tell them, okay,
- 38:26Speaker 1: it's going from forty thousand episode to five. Oh my god,
- 38:29Speaker 1: what if they did? What's coding go saying? Okay, well
- 38:31Speaker 1: they're walking away and do what good? First of all,
- 38:35Speaker 1: good bye, we can make do without you. Second of all,
- 38:38Speaker 1: they're not gonna walk away.
- 38:39Speaker 2: No, they can't.
- 38:40Speaker 1: They don't work.
- 38:41Speaker 2: They don't.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Robin has no skills to their losers. Cody has no
- 38:45Speaker 1: skills to speak none. I mean, that's the answer right there. Yeah,
- 38:50Speaker 1: And remember I don't know. It was maybe the fourth
- 38:53Speaker 1: or the fifth or the sixth season, and y'all can
- 38:56Speaker 1: tell me because I know your rabbit out there in
- 38:57Speaker 1: the dumpster. But tilc was going to cancel the show
- 39:00Speaker 1: because of the ratings they got really low, and Cody
- 39:03Speaker 1: made some sort of a deal. Instead of us getting
- 39:06Speaker 1: this much per episode each person, like maybe they were
- 39:10Speaker 1: getting ten to twenty thousand each person per episode, He's like, okay,
- 39:13Speaker 1: just pay us all bulk one hundred thousand for the
- 39:15Speaker 1: season or something like that, And so he negotiated a
- 39:19Speaker 1: way lower payout because he was desperate because they don't work.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Because that was all they could do. Yeah, so TLC
- 39:26Speaker 1: could have them over a barrel.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Maybe, I don't know. I would love to have those
- 39:31Speaker 2: conversations though, instead of seeing them paint picnic tables a
- 39:35Speaker 2: coyote pass the color blue. I know, like, I literally
- 39:38Speaker 2: don't fucking care.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I mean at the very least, like or just like,
- 39:40Speaker 1: if you want to just do a little bit of
- 39:42Speaker 1: fan service, can we have, like Eon levan Zant, somebody
- 39:45Speaker 1: who is not going to take Cody and Robin's shit,
- 39:47Speaker 1: who's going to go on their shit to their face
- 39:49Speaker 1: and like on their face. Can't we get somebody who's
- 39:52Speaker 1: not scared of these creeps like us, straight out my god,
- 39:56Speaker 1: like us.
- 39:57Speaker 2: We should host the tell Alls.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Dude, I would, I would.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I would be like w w they would never, Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 2: they would never.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Cody with his curls, would get up and walk out.
- 40:07Speaker 2: If it's gonna be Sukiyana again, and it's gonna be,
- 40:12Speaker 2: she's gonna get so much more hate this season. She
- 40:16Speaker 2: gets so much hate last season.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I don't know, but I mean, okay, I have some
- 40:21Speaker 1: journalistic intagrity. Okay.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Anyway, so then we get to the fucking mid season
- 40:28Speaker 2: trailer preview, which They did not call it that no,
- 40:32Speaker 2: but TLC said it on their.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Next week on Sister Wives. I don't believe it's the
- 40:36Speaker 1: mid season. I don't think we have twenty more episodes.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I can't believe even episode There's just no way.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I mean, even six is a lot. Even six is
- 40:47Speaker 2: a lot.
- 40:47Speaker 1: If four of those are talkbacks, look backs, big backs,
- 40:51Speaker 1: that okay, then that would be more episodes.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I feel like it's gonna be six more episodes of
- 40:56Speaker 2: the regular season and then the talkback big backs, and
- 41:00Speaker 2: then probably a honeymoon special.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, we're back. I don't know what happened.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I was literally screaming for you and our camera, just like.
- 41:08Speaker 2: We had a paranormal experience.
- 41:10Speaker 1: The ghost was like, ladies, it's time to wrap up.
- 41:13Speaker 1: It went only to me, too bombastickets, too loud, and
- 41:16Speaker 1: it just like totally cut away from me.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I didn't know. The ghost was like nuh.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, I guess I was yelling too much.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Back to the preview, are we done so? Or Rob
- 41:27Speaker 1: was going to get baptized or was gonna get that?
- 41:30Speaker 1: Nobody cares, Literally, no one cares.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I don't want to see it. By care I don't
- 41:34Speaker 2: want to see it. And then we have Mary debating
- 41:37Speaker 2: on whether or not she's going to move in to
- 41:39Speaker 2: the B and B.
- 41:40Speaker 1: That's a good question, yeah, because I was saying that
- 41:44Speaker 1: I don't really see her living there because she has
- 41:47Speaker 1: like high falutin taste and style. Yeah, and that BMB
- 41:52Speaker 1: ain't it.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Well, they are renovating it though it's been closed since
- 41:55Speaker 2: like August.
- 41:56Speaker 1: So yeah, but for her to live in, well, she
- 41:59Speaker 1: did reference to guy. She's like, well, we'll just see,
- 42:01Speaker 1: like if I'm gonna date somebody, if he wants to
- 42:03Speaker 1: live here or not.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Sam wants to live here or not?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Amos remember Amos? I wonder if Amos is in
- 42:10Speaker 1: the picture right now?
- 42:11Speaker 2: Oh my god, are we gonna see him on the show?
- 42:14Speaker 2: That'd be great.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I would love that.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I would love to see that and judge the fuck
- 42:17Speaker 2: out for the clout goblin.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That he is.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Yes, and that's it. Okay, so we're gonna see Mormons
- 42:23Speaker 2: do some shots, send Cody and Robins stupid kids. Yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 2: and that's it. I guess. Oh for the mid season finale, Well.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Come on, now, this is starting to get good. We're
- 42:34Speaker 1: starting to get a little bit of the information, the
- 42:36Speaker 1: drips and drabs. It's somewhat holding my attention someone, I
- 42:41Speaker 1: have an okay attitude about it.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Well, here's not raging if it is an actual mid
- 42:46Speaker 2: season finale. I googled what that meant, because I'm like,
- 42:48Speaker 2: there is no fucking way we're halfway through this shit
- 42:51Speaker 2: and we're gonna have twenty more episodes That would be
- 42:53Speaker 2: literally insane. Sure, mid season finales can also be for
- 42:56Speaker 2: like a brief hiatus, So I'm like, okay, are we
- 42:59Speaker 2: gonna have an episode next week and then have like
- 43:02Speaker 2: a two week break or like a month break. Remember
- 43:05Speaker 2: last year where we had like a break in between
- 43:08Speaker 2: like the the tell Alls and stuff like that, and
- 43:10Speaker 2: we couldn't even watch some of them because they weren't
- 43:12Speaker 2: even like on disc.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Because of Christmas though, wasn't it the holidays?
- 43:16Speaker 2: It was in January?
- 43:18Speaker 1: Gosh, I don't remember.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I don't know. So I don't know if we're gonna
- 43:21Speaker 2: get like a break between, because what are we gonna do?
- 43:23Speaker 1: I don't know any idea.
- 43:27Speaker 2: We could do.
- 43:27Speaker 1: We could talk about the my six hundred pound lie,
- 43:30Speaker 1: truly could There are a couple of very interesting contestants
- 43:33Speaker 1: on the game show. Yeah, I would wait to watch that.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, I don't know what this mid
- 43:40Speaker 1: season trailer business is about. I just know that I
- 43:43Speaker 1: have gone limp. I'm just I'm just giving up the
- 43:47Speaker 1: ghost Father. I come in my spirit on cold op
- 43:51Speaker 1: to you, and I'm just doing what I gotta do
- 43:54Speaker 1: to get through season.
- 43:55Speaker 2: That Sister why, it's never gonna end.
- 43:58Speaker 1: No it's not. But we'll here and thank you guys
- 44:01Speaker 1: for joining us. You know that we love you most
- 44:04Speaker 1: of all. Of course, all right, well, is there anything
- 44:07Speaker 1: else that we need to say to these beautiful rock
- 44:09Speaker 1: homes before we get up on out of here?
- 44:12Speaker 2: Be well, if you love us and you love what
- 44:15Speaker 2: we do, please go to your favorite podcast platform and
- 44:17Speaker 2: leave us a glowing five star review really helps us
- 44:20Speaker 2: grow the podcast. Five stars are nothing less. Okay, god period.
- 44:24Speaker 1: We're gonna be back later this week because I think
- 44:26Speaker 1: we have some people calling in participating in the rowdy
- 44:30Speaker 1: Dumpster vibrations, So look for that on Friday, And of
- 44:34Speaker 1: course we'll be back next week to talk more Sister Web,
- 44:36Speaker 1: since it's never ending. But until then, please do not
- 44:40Speaker 1: forget that we have nothing but love for.
- 44:43Speaker 2: You and peace. Bye bye, guys,
