- 0:35great energy from these two wonderful people At such a wonderful shop Check
- 0:39out Appalachian Rootworks Find them on Facebook Find them on their website And
- 0:44just get ready because I'm going to go down there I'm going to visit the shop
- 0:47I'm going to see everything that they have to offer,
- 0:50And then I'll be doing a recording With them.
- 0:54For Eye Opener Society and then they have a podcast as well called Without a
- 1:01Candle and they will have me on their podcast.
- 1:04So I'm really looking forward to this, looking forward to the getaway,
- 1:07looking forward to getaway from work.
- 1:09And speaking of work, now that I'm out of work and I'm sitting here in my space,
- 1:13I have the Cosmic Fairy Princess Lizzie alongside of me, which I'm so excited
- 1:19about because she kind of grounds me even though she tells me that I ground
- 1:23her. Lizzie, how you doing, buddy?
- 1:26Good just so excited to be back it's been a
- 1:28little bit since we were able to record glad that our
- 1:31timing finally has a lot aligned for that yeah
- 1:35it is and for people that don't know there is a
- 1:38time difference between lizzie and i because we're in two different time zones
- 1:41and i always said podcasters need to be on zulu time so we always know what
- 1:46time it is but it's okay we make things work and i think that's going to be
- 1:51the whole topic of this episode making things work because everybody is stuck in these,
- 1:58I don't want to call it like fantasy lands, but we do.
- 2:03We seem to never have time, but we also create a lot of blocks for ourselves.
- 2:09We're not practicing that mindfulness that we need to help us understand what's going on.
- 2:17And this is why we become confused. This is why we say we don't have any time.
- 2:21We're just not making it because we're following too many stupid rules that shouldn't even exist.
- 2:28And before i got on air i was talking to lizzie about this
- 2:30and lizzie made perfect sense with it
- 2:33of course because she deals with this too she's just like me in a lot of ways
- 2:38but we're on two different energy levels so lizzie what is it about people do
- 2:44you think that why are we creating this hope we have no time and we're not placing
- 2:49ourselves in our own little bubble and you know.
- 2:52Removing all the negative energy from us.
- 2:55Well, I think it comes down to a couple things. One of the main ones is I think
- 2:58we've created a culture of disassociating, you know, just doing the dishes.
- 3:04People get so frustrated about the dishes because everybody,
- 3:07I don't know how it works out, but everybody seems to be the only one that does all the dishes, right?
- 3:12And it's hard to sit down and slow down and just enjoy the dishes.
- 3:16And so you skip over as fast as possible. You put in music,
- 3:20you watch a show, you just like wash those dishes
- 3:22but the act of being mindful and bringing
- 3:25all that energy down and slowing down and enjoying life
- 3:29because that's why we're here is to experience it so when
- 3:32you slow down and you start enjoying the feeling of the water and the smell
- 3:36of the soap and all that what will automatically happen is the stories that
- 3:41you tell yourself is going to come up that I'm the only one doing the dishes
- 3:45nobody sees all that I'm doing I can't believe I'm doing this Again, I just did these.
- 3:50But those stories create all these energetic ties that pull you in,
- 3:54and it makes it an uncomfortable place to be mindful in.
- 3:59And so when people try to switch to running on the hamster wheel of life to
- 4:04being mindful, it's really uncomfortable because now you're thinking consciously
- 4:10all the subconscious stories that have been playing.
- 4:12And so part of being mindful is taking a moment and not judging that story,
- 4:18not deciding if it's true or not, but kind of just like realizing that that's
- 4:22what's playing in your head when you're doing the dishes or thinking about the dishes,
- 4:27even if you're listening to music while you're doing it.
- 4:31That's beautiful because yes, and we're using just dishes just as a metaphor
- 4:35because this could relate to anything at all in life.
- 4:39And I do the same thing. Like my numbness is work.
- 4:44I'm at the point where I'm so frustrated with it. So I've learned to place that
- 4:50protective bubble around me.
- 4:52I'm at the point where I literally go into work now and I made my office,
- 4:58my space. there's very little that has to do with work in there.
- 5:03I have it set up where I have pictures and I have a crystal ball on my desk.
- 5:09I have a tiny singing bowl on my desk.
- 5:12It has nothing to do with my job, but it's all there so I can reflect on my
- 5:19time because work too is on my time.
- 5:22So I place myself in that moment and I use that energy to get me through today.
- 5:30I no longer care about time constraints
- 5:34because I don't even wear a watch anymore. I don't care about time.
- 5:37I do things, I get them done and that's it.
- 5:42All of the other office drama, I'm in my own bubble. It doesn't affect me.
- 5:48I do not allow it to affect me.
- 5:51And this goes back to the dishes. You place yourself in there.
- 5:54You feel the warmth of the water.
- 5:57You find something that helps you in that moment.
- 6:02So if I'm doing work and it's not what I'm feeling at the moment,
- 6:08I find something within my office or within my head that makes me comfortable.
- 6:14And that's all I focus on.
- 6:17And then allow yourself just to be slightly, you know, multitask a little bit
- 6:22where you can think about the good stuff while you're doing the stuff that you don't really like.
- 6:27And then it becomes easier to do what you don't like because you're thinking
- 6:31about the things you like.
- 6:33I think you're rubbing off on me, Lizzie. Did I make that?
- 6:37Did you understand that? Yes, for sure. No, that was good. I liked it.
- 6:43And yeah, it's super important that that little bubble is a great place to be
- 6:47able to retreat back to when the world is like kind of, you know, bombarding you.
- 6:52And I personally, because I'm a very imaginative person, you know,
- 6:57my cosmic fairy princess attitude here, I like to make it a little fun when
- 7:01I am having that hard time.
- 7:03Like if I always go back to the dishes, because that just seems to be one that
- 7:07comes up for everybody, you know.
- 7:09But so if you can take it and make it like an imaginary world,
- 7:13you know, get dressed up, pretend you're running a restaurant,
- 7:16pretend you're like in a tavern in the 1700s, do something silly in your head.
- 7:21And it creates it's different
- 7:25than disassociating out of it because you're still
- 7:28in your head and it'll be interesting to see
- 7:30what comes up in your imagination to kind of play with with it but it kind of
- 7:36creates that little bubble and it reminds you someplace to go back to like a
- 7:41frequency like a feeling to go back to when it is being all bombarded i like
- 7:47that because you really did take it to another level.
- 7:49And I never really thought about that. It's like, we're going back to our childish
- 7:54selves where we use our imagination.
- 7:57And I was thinking about that too, not too long ago.
- 8:01When did we lose all of that imagination? Why? When we grow up, it disappears.
- 8:06There's no reason for it. So why not imagine you're doing something really cool
- 8:11or living in some fantasy world because that's imagination.
- 8:16And it'll get you through, I think, so many tough times, the sad times, emotional times.
- 8:22You've lost the imagination. So these raw emotions just take over and there's
- 8:27nothing to help soothe you anymore because you're not imagining things.
- 8:32So you really brought up something that I didn't even think about.
- 8:36So yeah, I think using your imagination during these times of doing dishes,
- 8:41again, metaphorically, whatever that may be, you could play with that. Oh, I love that.
- 8:47I knew I had to show for a reason.
- 8:50Thanks. That's funny.
- 8:53I was actually talking about imagination too on my TikToks just the other day. So that's pretty funny.
- 8:58But yeah, I think what happens is it comes down to the rules that we've placed on ourselves.
- 9:05And it starts with the rules other people accidentally give us.
- 9:08Like when you're a little kid and you go I'm gonna
- 9:11be a doctor and you know your older brother
- 9:15says that's really cool but do you know how much money you'd have
- 9:18to have in student loans do you know how much work that would
- 9:20be how good are your grades right now anyways like you suck
- 9:23at math you really think you can do that and then you go wow
- 9:26that would be really hard is that how what I wanted you
- 9:29know what I mean and you start it it changes it
- 9:32and so when you come from it from this imagination place
- 9:36where like I'm going to be a doctor I'm going to save the
- 9:39world and heal everybody and then it just gets crunched
- 9:42like you learn to crunch your own imagination before
- 9:46other people can do it because it'll hurt less right and so I think that that's
- 9:51kind of like the start of it and then as we get all these different rules about
- 9:54what's real how things work how things should be it like puts you in this place
- 10:00where you can't imagine anything because all you got That is the straight line
- 10:03that society says is yes.
- 10:05And that has always been one of my pet peeves.
- 10:09And it took me a long time to realize that because I was in that line myself for a long, long time.
- 10:15And it's because that's what's taught. I made a TikTok same thing.
- 10:19By the way, we're on TikTok too as well.
- 10:22Search EyeOpener Society and you can search energy.buy.lizzy as well.
- 10:28If you want to hear Lizzy's stuff as well.
- 10:30And I was talking about that. I said, you know, we've always had these rules
- 10:34all of our lives and they've been such bullshit,
- 10:38such bullshit lies because it was just to indoctrinate you into thinking one
- 10:44way and you can no longer use your imagination.
- 10:47I said, but those people that wake up every day and do whatever it is they want
- 10:51or whatever it is they feel, those are the people we should be looking up to.
- 10:55Those are the people we should be modeling ourselves after.
- 10:58Yeah, maybe we do need to do certain things because this is how we need to live.
- 11:04But we don't have to follow these fucking stupid rules that have just been put there by who knows who.
- 11:13And yet we still follow them because that's our human instinct is to immediately,
- 11:17yes, sir. Yes, ma'am. Yes, we have to do it this way. Yes.
- 11:20It's not like that. And unfortunately, it took me so long to learn that.
- 11:25And now that I'm seeing what lies they are, I'm learning to break away from that.
- 11:30And Lizzie and myself, this is what we want to help people with.
- 11:35And we're trying our best.
- 11:37Lizzie's always rewriting her plans, but she's learning about her,
- 11:45but there's a reason why she's doing it.
- 11:48If you want to work with either Lizzie or with me. I have an email address set up.
- 11:55E-O-S meditation at Gmail. Email.
- 12:00And I will get the message to Lizzie if you want to work with Lizzie or if you
- 12:04want to work with me in the Meditation Mindfulness, EOS Meditation.
- 12:09If you look down the synopsis, I'll make sure I have all the links for that.
- 12:13Lizzie didn't even know that.
- 12:15But if you want to reach it. I saw that on Facebook, just so you know, I did know that.
- 12:20Oh, OK. All right, cool. I'm glad because I know Facebook, I haven't been using
- 12:24too, too much, but I'm glad because Lizzie started to throw some posts on there
- 12:28too, as the new administrator of the page.
- 12:31And which is good this way, because I want everybody to also know Lizzie because,
- 12:35you know, everybody has been listening to the podcast maybe for the last three
- 12:38years, or if you're new here, it doesn't matter.
- 12:41Get to know me, get to know Lizzie, because we're both here to kind of guide people.
- 12:47I don't mandate any sort of teaching. And when I'm teaching meditation,
- 12:53I'm just teaching what I know based upon what's working for me, and it may work for you.
- 13:00I don't feel offended if it's not working for you because everybody's got to
- 13:04reach out and find the person that works best for them. So you either have me or you have Lizzie.
- 13:09Lizzie's probably not doing meditation, but she could certainly help structure
- 13:13yourself through your energies and finding what she just taught me,
- 13:17an energetic language by placing symbolicism. Is that right? Yep. Yep.
- 13:23Versus trying to understand how other people have set up their systems and what's working for them.
- 13:29My idea now is to teach you how to understand your own energetic language and
- 13:34write it so that you can understand your intuition without happening to like
- 13:38go through all the process of healing, everything blocking you and your intuition.
- 13:44And I'm going to start working with Lizzie and Lizzie's going to start working
- 13:47with me so we can both practice off of each other too. But again, we're here.
- 13:51Lizzie works off of donations. I require a million dollars per session. It's all about balance.
- 13:57Now, really, I can help out. It doesn't have to be about money.
- 14:02I'm trying to get some client base myself, but I want to work with people to
- 14:07help people understand, we don't have to think too hard or we don't have to
- 14:13concentrate all the time on the bad things.
- 14:15What we need to do is practice that mindfulness and just place yourself in the moment.
- 14:20And we start to break things down into smaller chunks.
- 14:24And we start to realize how many things are necessary and how many things are not,
- 14:30as opposed to also all the lies that we've been told and that you could actually
- 14:34live your life in a very comfortable and fun way only if you allow it.
- 14:40And you stop letting other people give you rules about what that looks like.
- 14:45And that too, exactly, because that's where the problem is. And we've been always told to do something.
- 14:52I don't teach that way. I give you the ideas, you take them,
- 14:57and then you do what works best for you. and you take it for whatever direction you want.
- 15:04So with that, again, EOS for EyeOpener Society, meditation at gmail.com.
- 15:10Send an email if you'd like to work with either one of us. Tell me who,
- 15:13if you want to work with me or if you want to work with Lizzie.
