- 0:00Speaker 1: Nikki, thanks for saving my life. Look, can we just
- 0:03Speaker 1: pretend that never happened. I don't want everyone at school
- 0:05Speaker 1: to go around thinking I like you.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I don't get you. You're hot, you're cold? What is
- 0:09Speaker 2: your deal?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Bart?
- 0:11Speaker 1: You've got a few things to learn about women, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: I will never tell you what they are. I give
- 0:17Speaker 1: up Samelliolator.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I love you.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Four Finger Discount, dude.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Welcome to four Finger Discount. With this week, we're gonna
- 0:46Speaker 3: be stealing some bases, specifically first base. I'm Dan, O yes,
- 0:50Speaker 3: and I'm guy. Will we get to second base this episode?
- 0:53Speaker 3: That is the question?
- 0:54Speaker 4: I certainly hope not. I don't want to be to
- 0:56Speaker 4: bunk over the head and drag into a cave that
- 0:58Speaker 4: feels like very much our working relationship, doesn't it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: No. I've got a friend of mine who's currently I
- 1:03Speaker 3: was like, there's this because his son is Elliot's friend.
- 1:06Speaker 3: And I was like, do you want to come over
- 1:07Speaker 3: and play on the Scoreliday's like in South Australia venturing
- 1:10Speaker 3: through caves and I was like, really caves, Okay. I
- 1:13Speaker 3: was like, don't end up this guy? And then the
- 1:14Speaker 3: guy they got stuck upside down? Have you seen that? Story.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I think I might have heard about it, but tell
- 1:18Speaker 3: me more. You know, there's there's more terrible ways to die.
- 1:20Speaker 3: You know, they're burning a lot, being eaten by a shark. Right,
- 1:23Speaker 3: But this guy, you know those ones that go through
- 1:25Speaker 3: really tight gaps. Oh yeah, and he went over a bend,
- 1:28Speaker 3: so essentially he's going through this. This is his head.
- 1:31Speaker 3: He went to a gap thinking it would go further
- 1:32Speaker 3: down and it was just it's a dead end. So
- 1:34Speaker 3: he was stuck in a gap like that and they
- 1:36Speaker 3: couldn't pull him out, and he just died in there,
- 1:38Speaker 3: just died stuck like that. Oh no, horrific. Yeah, that's terrible.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'll show you the picture. Oh I don't want to
- 1:44Speaker 3: see that. He's not of actually him. It's a diary
- 1:46Speaker 3: of what it would have been like. Yeah, that's going
- 1:49Speaker 3: to be disturbing enough watch this. Yeah. John Edwood Jones
- 1:53Speaker 3: was the guy like that.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Oh my god. So I got stuck and like man, he.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Went down and realized he couldn't go in it, but
- 1:59Speaker 3: he couldn't be back out. I couldn't bend his body
- 2:01Speaker 3: to get out, so it was just stuck. John Edward terrible, right,
- 2:06Speaker 3: Nutty Putty Cave Yeah, what's it called nutty putty cave?
- 2:09Speaker 4: It was that's even I want to say undignified. But
- 2:13Speaker 4: imagine like, look, that's his legs there, look died in
- 2:15Speaker 4: the nutty putty cave. That's his feet. Sorry, man, that's horrific.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Isn't it that? That's a ship way to go? Yeah, anyway.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Ship ways to go stealing first. But I would like
- 2:29Speaker 4: this more than you did. I think that seems look,
- 2:33Speaker 4: as is often the case, we will talk about it.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I imagine we're like, oh, that wasn't bad.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Again. It's similar to our last season twenty one review.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I know being your parent is starting to go through
- 2:43Speaker 3: the things that Bart is going through here, and I
- 2:47Speaker 3: think we've all been through this as men. I think
- 2:49Speaker 3: from a male's perspective, this is a lot more relatable
- 2:51Speaker 3: than a female's perspective. They paint females kind of crazy
- 2:55Speaker 3: in this one. Yeah, here's the thing.
- 2:57Speaker 4: If you're going to be sort of tackling an issue
- 2:59Speaker 4: like the this, which is because they bring up things
- 3:02Speaker 4: like not necessarily sexual harassment.
- 3:05Speaker 3: But where's the panda issue again South Park? But Simpsons
- 3:12Speaker 3: was she did at first? South? I did it?
- 3:15Speaker 4: Issues of consent? It's a relevant issue. I think it's
- 3:18Speaker 4: I mean not necessarily that the Simpsons, as we said
- 3:22Speaker 4: the other day on a previous issue, has to do
- 3:24Speaker 4: a very special episode about it. But I think if
- 3:27Speaker 4: you're going to sort of raise the topic, it's like, oh,
- 3:30Speaker 4: you kissed me, and it's not it's not what I wanted,
- 3:33Speaker 4: or I mean, actually do a really good job, like
- 3:36Speaker 4: that's my first kiss, I'm never going to have another one,
- 3:37Speaker 4: and it's not exactly what I wanted or it's not
- 3:39Speaker 4: something I invited to then turn Nicky into this girl
- 3:42Speaker 4: who's like, she's hot and she's cold.
- 3:44Speaker 3: She's yes, and she really liked it. She just didn't
- 3:47Speaker 3: want to know that she really liked it. Painting her
- 3:50Speaker 3: is like a sadistic sociopath.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Yeah, you're presenting, you know, an issue that is actually
- 3:56Speaker 4: important and then you're undermining it completely.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I thought the same thing at moments.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And I don't know that kind of put
- 4:02Speaker 4: me off a bit because I really like what Sarah
- 4:05Speaker 4: Silvan brought to the table.
- 4:06Speaker 3: As Nicky, I thought, pretty much, is Sarah Silverman to
- 4:09Speaker 3: a t? That character? Is that kind of is Yeah?
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I was initially thinking he's doing this voice,
- 4:15Speaker 4: is this Aubrey Plaza, because you know, pretty much Sarah
- 4:17Speaker 4: Silverman walked over Aubrey Plaza could run. But but I
- 4:21Speaker 4: thought she did a really, really good job and was
- 4:23Speaker 4: a really good character.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I liked who She feels like a character that could
- 4:27Speaker 3: stick around. Yeah. Absolutely, Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 4: The whole undermining of the whole consent issue, it felt
- 4:34Speaker 4: a little sort of old man Shakespeistic cloud in a
- 4:36Speaker 4: lot of ways.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I was like, what is the point are they trying
- 4:38Speaker 3: to say they think that it's too everyone's too soft
- 4:42Speaker 3: these days?
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yeah, very much as it hardened up. Is this overreach
- 4:45Speaker 4: all that kind of stuff. So it felt like a
- 4:48Speaker 4: bit of a confused episode to me.
- 4:49Speaker 3: In that regard, you need to have the message at
- 4:51Speaker 3: the end of saying, but you kissing her not okay.
- 4:54Speaker 3: You can't kiss people unannounced. It's not okay, because you know,
- 4:58Speaker 3: you try and teach kids at school. In Holly Alliott said,
- 5:02Speaker 3: the girls are trying to kiss me the other day.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I didn't want them to like that was I was
- 5:04Speaker 3: trying to play foot. They kept trying to come and
- 5:06Speaker 3: kiss me, and I was like, you can say no, mate.
- 5:08Speaker 3: He's like yeah, but they were just you know, they
- 5:10Speaker 3: were they were trying to I was like, so is
- 5:12Speaker 3: the other way around. It was the girls were trying
- 5:13Speaker 3: to kiss Alliott and it was just it was like,
- 5:16Speaker 3: I just want to play footy. And he got home
- 5:18Speaker 3: he was like, he wasn't upset that the girls were
- 5:19Speaker 3: kissing him. He was upset that they interested his football,
- 5:21Speaker 3: for sure. But I was like, I try to explain
- 5:25Speaker 3: to Aliot and to Holly as well. Do not touch people,
- 5:28Speaker 3: I said, especially now said it is very important. You
- 5:31Speaker 3: do not touch anyone unless you they know you're going
- 5:34Speaker 3: to touch them, or you ask them first, even given hugs.
- 5:37Speaker 3: It sounds silly, it does, but you know, just you
- 5:42Speaker 3: gotta be careful.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I don't know what I done. It
- 5:46Speaker 4: was like in your day. I mean back when, Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 4: back when I was a kid, Like at first of
- 5:50Speaker 4: all a child and then a teenager, it was a
- 5:53Speaker 4: little more sort of I hate to say, you know,
- 5:57Speaker 4: consent wasn't much as much of an issue or much
- 5:59Speaker 4: of an you certainly weren't going.
- 6:02Speaker 3: To Freddy Krueger and Freddie west Is Jason. Yeah, I
- 6:04Speaker 3: say no no, but your lips your lips say no no,
- 6:06Speaker 3: but I say yes yes. It's like holy shit, you were.
- 6:11Speaker 4: You were sort of going by instinct and vibes in
- 6:13Speaker 4: a lot of way. Yes, and if you didn't, you're
- 6:16Speaker 4: even here to this. That was your instinct of I
- 6:18Speaker 4: want this. I'm taking it that that kind of yeah. Yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 4: not good, No, No, I mean, certainly, I look back
- 6:24Speaker 4: at some of the things I did when I was,
- 6:25Speaker 4: you know, a young, horny pre teen or whatever. I
- 6:29Speaker 4: was like that was pretty dubious on my part. Of course,
- 6:33Speaker 4: even then, there were people who went beyond the pale
- 6:35Speaker 4: in that regard who were also I know some guys
- 6:38Speaker 4: who were a bit I'm not going to say raypie,
- 6:40Speaker 4: that's not that's not the term, but you know, got
- 6:42Speaker 4: a little coming Yeah, little hands, a little hands, as
- 6:46Speaker 4: says he, and it's very much a Bart's girlfriend vibe
- 6:49Speaker 4: this episode. Yeah, And even I back in those days
- 6:51Speaker 4: was going dude, not cool.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Now.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I was saying the shit in the eighties. So you
- 6:55Speaker 4: would have that occasionally.
- 6:56Speaker 3: But that was a problem that people didn't speak up.
- 7:00Speaker 3: That's true. Yeah, But I just thought this episode here,
- 7:02Speaker 3: Nikki right, it's okay to make her this hot and
- 7:03Speaker 3: cold character, but have her get repercussions. We'll have her
- 7:07Speaker 3: learned something acause she shouldn't arn anything. There was no
- 7:09Speaker 3: she wasn't hold accountable for her behavior. That's right. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 3: but the Bard's character was dragged through the mud and
- 7:15Speaker 3: she didn't get held accountable for it. Yeah. Yes, he
- 7:18Speaker 3: kissed her, but she was They would seem like they
- 7:20Speaker 3: were having a good time together, right, Still shouldn't have
- 7:23Speaker 3: kissed unannounced? Well, here's the thing.
- 7:25Speaker 4: If I'm having a lovely time skateboarding with someone, there's
- 7:29Speaker 4: a vibe vibe yes, and you've stopped all this physical
- 7:33Speaker 4: activity and says what should we do next? And someone
- 7:35Speaker 4: says it in the way that Nikki says it in
- 7:37Speaker 4: this episode. I don't know I would be inclined to
- 7:40Speaker 4: view it as an invitation to maybe give me a kiss.
- 7:43Speaker 4: And you hear all the time from women and men
- 7:46Speaker 4: it's kind of like sometimes not asking permission or asking
- 7:51Speaker 4: to go the next step is kind of sexier and
- 7:54Speaker 4: kind of more appreciated. It kind of kills the mood.
- 7:56Speaker 4: If he said I'm going to kiss you now, it's like, really, hi.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Went Homer says it in the way he was, Yes,
- 8:01Speaker 3: I'm going to hug you and kiss you, and I'm
- 8:03Speaker 3: never gonna let you go and you're like, well that's beautiful.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I don't know. I'm no longer out in
- 8:07Speaker 4: the dating wilderness. When I met the lovely Louise and
- 8:10Speaker 4: we hit it off. Sorry to be revealing stuff, honey,
- 8:14Speaker 4: but I mean.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I was kissed since guy Davis, this guy, I think
- 8:21Speaker 3: it was fairly obviously we were going to that we
- 8:23Speaker 3: were going to kiss.
- 8:24Speaker 4: But I said, but it's the first date. Yeah, but
- 8:26Speaker 4: I said, I'd really like to kiss you right now.
- 8:29Speaker 4: She basically said, how about it?
- 8:31Speaker 3: So I'm like, so you asked permission, Well that's there. Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 4: I mean I did my due diligence in that regard,
- 8:36Speaker 4: but there was also yeah, but the vibe was like
- 8:38Speaker 4: we're going to do this, are we? Yeah, but you know,
- 8:40Speaker 4: get the get the green light. Yeah, but don't necessarily
- 8:44Speaker 4: phrase dating tips from your power guy Davis.
- 8:46Speaker 3: It's like, I am asking your permission to kiss you
- 8:49Speaker 3: right now. So Nickol and I didn't kiss till the
- 8:53Speaker 3: third date, right because I was just like, I really
- 8:58Speaker 3: really liked this girl. I was like, if I kiss her,
- 9:02Speaker 3: I know it's probably that's going to be it. And
- 9:04Speaker 3: it was just this fear of I knew Nicola was
- 9:06Speaker 3: the one I just knew on the first date. Apparently
- 9:08Speaker 3: I went home, I don't remember. Mom's like you came
- 9:10Speaker 3: home from the first and said, I'm probably gonna marry
- 9:12Speaker 3: this girl. That's what you said to it. But I
- 9:13Speaker 3: was like, I know, though I kiss her, I'm probably
- 9:15Speaker 3: just me. I'm in love And Nicholas Nicholas said on
- 9:19Speaker 3: the third one, I was gonna leave and she saw
- 9:22Speaker 3: I leant in for a kiss, and I was like, okay,
- 9:24Speaker 3: well I'll kiss her then and then because I wasn't
- 9:26Speaker 3: quite sure if she still liked me or not. And
- 9:28Speaker 3: Nicholas like, I was just waiting for you to kiss me.
- 9:30Speaker 4: The whole time, and she's like I.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Had to lean in and basically, you can't fucking kiss me.
- 9:36Speaker 3: But we're getting mixed messages. The talent question is to move.
- 9:40Speaker 3: The first kiss is to movement. Nicholas like, we need
- 9:43Speaker 3: to kiss because the telent quest is to move. We
- 9:48Speaker 3: do like doing that. Anyone who doesn't Anyone who doesn't
- 9:50Speaker 3: know our south Park podcast, there's no idea what's going on?
- 9:52Speaker 4: Say this isn't it when we say that line? Yes,
- 9:54Speaker 4: but yeah, listen to going down.
- 9:55Speaker 3: To the south Park.
- 9:56Speaker 4: But check out Erection Day Direction Day episode one of
- 9:58Speaker 4: our favorites, and we had a lot of fun just
- 10:00Speaker 4: saying that line over and over again.
- 10:01Speaker 3: And it's one of my favorite dad jokes of all
- 10:03Speaker 3: time about the Chinese foods which were of my stomach,
- 10:07Speaker 3: but I don't.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Have about that and more about stealing first base.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, the story here that Bart forces were a girl
- 10:12Speaker 3: in the Approbably it's another fourth grade which have never
- 10:15Speaker 3: seen me? Yeah, what's going on here? And it feels
- 10:17Speaker 3: like a completely different school. Yeah, different teachers, Like well,
- 10:20Speaker 3: I mean, how have we never seen these kids before?
- 10:23Speaker 3: They say, the fourth grade are doing it? Like, we've
- 10:25Speaker 3: never seen these kids before, no ever.
- 10:27Speaker 4: None of them all and they just not even from
- 10:30Speaker 4: a different school, like from a different show.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it was bizarre. Yeah, but they fall. I've got
- 10:35Speaker 3: to hear Bart falls for Nikki, but really they fall
- 10:37Speaker 3: for each other. Oh yeah, she likes she likes lets
- 10:41Speaker 3: him drawing her arm and they fall for each other.
- 10:43Speaker 3: And because when I when she first appeared, I thought, oh,
- 10:46Speaker 3: they're being me playing this goth girls. And because she
- 10:48Speaker 3: likes Twilight Red Moon, I think they call it like
- 10:50Speaker 3: the Twilight thing. Sure, then she she acts like because
- 10:54Speaker 3: he kisses her after they skateboard together, and then she goes,
- 10:57Speaker 3: oh my god, he kissed me. Then her parents are
- 10:59Speaker 3: lawyers and they sue him, and then the school brings
- 11:01Speaker 3: in a policy and no touching policy as a result.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I think, if you're going to do this, go all
- 11:06Speaker 3: the way and just have Springfield bring in a no
- 11:08Speaker 3: touching policy and have all the sand out from the
- 11:11Speaker 3: sky and make it so ludicrous. Yes, because this just
- 11:14Speaker 3: feels like the way they handled it here just felt
- 11:17Speaker 3: like you were trying to tackle a real world issue.
- 11:19Speaker 3: But you can't tackle this reword issue and make it
- 11:21Speaker 3: fun and entertaining and funny if you make it ridiculous.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Oh that's what South aright do. So well, they take
- 11:27Speaker 3: an issue that is no touchy, but they blow it
- 11:30Speaker 3: so out of proportion. You're like, well, we know they're
- 11:32Speaker 3: just taking the piss here exactly. So I think, like
- 11:34Speaker 3: I can envision, like you know, Quimby, this town's having
- 11:38Speaker 3: a no touching policy going for it, and like then
- 11:40Speaker 3: the parents like, well we can't touch each other now,
- 11:42Speaker 3: what's going on? And the parents and then we have
- 11:43Speaker 3: a whole consent with the parents having sex. Make it
- 11:46Speaker 3: Acy Wigham tries to arrest someone, but he can't touch him. Yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 3: he can't restrain them. Snake runs off. Yeah again a
- 11:54Speaker 3: bad snake invitation. But see how eas yell that was
- 11:58Speaker 3: fixed it. Thanks for your guys, so easy having to help. Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 3: But because they kept it to just the kids in
- 12:03Speaker 3: the school yard, it feels like, oh no, but kids
- 12:05Speaker 3: really shouldn't be touching each other under But it's because
- 12:08Speaker 3: they're handling in a way that felt realistic to it.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Also, yeah, I mean, but this if you're going to
- 12:13Speaker 4: be sort of teaching a lesson expanded out for comic
- 12:16Speaker 4: book who learned that lesson? Then but then drawback in
- 12:19Speaker 4: if you're going to be teaching something, because it did
- 12:21Speaker 4: feel like they were trying to sort of explorishes in
- 12:23Speaker 4: this because that's the perfect vehicle because kids always have
- 12:26Speaker 4: to learn new shit because they don't know anything.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I hate to compare it to South Park Again, I
- 12:30Speaker 3: apologize listeners, but the thing is what they do really well.
- 12:33Speaker 3: They would have taken this topic, blown it so far
- 12:35Speaker 3: out of proportion Parker and Stone style, but at the
- 12:38Speaker 3: end of it, there's a you know what, we learned
- 12:40Speaker 3: something today, and they always have the message of this
- 12:43Speaker 3: was the point of this episode. Yes, it was ridiculous,
- 12:45Speaker 3: it was unreal, it was bizarre as absurd, But at
- 12:48Speaker 3: the end of the day, there's always a message that
- 12:50Speaker 3: you want to make sure you guys at home understand.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Yes, like, hey, we're all human beings, and human beings
- 12:55Speaker 4: do like to touch one we're social creatures. But at
- 12:57Speaker 4: the same time is important you don't want to be
- 13:00Speaker 4: doing it without someone's permission. Hey, we learned something, but
- 13:03Speaker 4: no one learns anything in this episode. It's well, we
- 13:06Speaker 4: can't help bad He's going to die because we have
- 13:08Speaker 4: no touching mocking the policy, mocking, Well we can't, you know,
- 13:12Speaker 4: we can't save bart now because we can't we can't
- 13:14Speaker 4: touch him. I'd rather die than get sued by your parents.
- 13:17Speaker 4: And she's like, screw that, and she gives him the
- 13:19Speaker 4: mouth to mouth and mouth and mouth and saves him.
- 13:21Speaker 4: But there was no lesson learned there at all. We
- 13:25Speaker 4: don't see her parents again, We don't see anything we
- 13:27Speaker 4: do not. Yeah, maybe I'm not going to enjoy this
- 13:33Speaker 4: episode talking about it.
- 13:35Speaker 3: We'll talk about it though. That The other thing, too,
- 13:36Speaker 3: is the other story of this episode. This is the
- 13:38Speaker 3: one that got me shake in my head. Scratch my head,
- 13:41Speaker 3: actually kiss you could say so Lisa again is feeling
- 13:44Speaker 3: like an outside because she's a high achiever. We've had
- 13:46Speaker 3: this a million times, right, but this just felt like
- 13:49Speaker 3: a story they crammed in just to get Michelle Obama
- 13:52Speaker 3: on the show, right, And it wasn't voiced by her.
- 13:55Speaker 4: That's the thing I was really surprising, Like this didn't
- 13:58Speaker 4: sound like Michelle Obama. No, it was what'scar nominated actress
- 14:02Speaker 4: Angela Bassett What Are the Greats? Also personal favorite guy
- 14:05Speaker 4: Davis when over EF, I'm gonna marry you Angela Bassett Man,
- 14:08Speaker 4: she's so hot.
- 14:10Speaker 3: But if you can't get but Michelle Obama, why do
- 14:13Speaker 3: you just scrap this? Exactly right? There's no point for
- 14:16Speaker 3: this and this and this episode. It feels like if
- 14:18Speaker 3: you're gonna have if you're gonna get Michelle Obama on
- 14:20Speaker 3: the episode, I understand.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Well, if you're going to do this whole up with
- 14:25Speaker 4: people be a high achiever thing, using you know, the
- 14:28Speaker 4: former first Lady of the United States as your mouthpiece
- 14:31Speaker 4: for it. Yeah, having someone who is not Michelle Obama
- 14:35Speaker 4: do it, it's I know, what's say It negates the message,
- 14:37Speaker 4: it doesn't, but it also is.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Like, what the hell is going on?
- 14:39Speaker 4: And apparently she she Yeah, they tried together. They I
- 14:43Speaker 4: think she sent back a rejection letters and could try
- 14:46Speaker 4: what she should have said, a cake saying at least
- 14:47Speaker 4: you tried. Yeah, in all honestly, but it's there.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Well, Angela Bassett's a good get have her do it?
- 14:53Speaker 3: But yeah, but do the kids at home, to whom
- 14:55Speaker 3: Angela Bassett is fucking should They probably wouldn't. But my
- 15:00Speaker 3: theory is, though, if you can get Michelle Obama do
- 15:05Speaker 3: this right, because you know, having the first lady on
- 15:07Speaker 3: the show, big big deal, right, Oh, absolutely, and her
- 15:10Speaker 3: having this message fantastic in the Simpsons, the positive message.
- 15:13Speaker 3: If it's not her, you just come across like it
- 15:16Speaker 3: feels counterfit. Yeah, it feels fake, Yeah, because she's not
- 15:19Speaker 3: saying and she didn't in real life. She didn't actually
- 15:22Speaker 3: want to do this, So I was like, why would
- 15:25Speaker 3: you have then her be the voice of it? Yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 3: it undermines everything if she did.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Yeah, because I don't think the whole I mean, I'm
- 15:33Speaker 4: sure that believing in yourself and all that kind of
- 15:35Speaker 4: thing is part of her message or part of her
- 15:38Speaker 4: platform as the first Lady, or what of it but
- 15:39Speaker 4: it never really sort of struck me as kind of
- 15:42Speaker 4: the thing that she was out there promoting. It's like,
- 15:44Speaker 4: I believe in yourself that kind of thing.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I think Spice did more to.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Why why wasn't Ginger Spice on the indeed, why wasn't
- 15:55Speaker 4: she on the on the message board sort of big
- 15:57Speaker 4: upping Lisa? That was so girls never on the same
- 16:00Speaker 4: since they feel like they were, they never it just
- 16:03Speaker 4: feels like that they are perfect for Springfield, right, Oh, absolutely, yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 4: or at least you know when even when they went
- 16:10Speaker 4: to England when what year was.
- 16:12Speaker 3: A lot longer. I think it was like they were
- 16:14Speaker 3: done by then. I think about two thousand and six,
- 16:16Speaker 3: two and seven was still around them had left it.
- 16:20Speaker 3: That was it. There's the Spice Girls. Spicyils was done
- 16:23Speaker 3: by two thousand and one. The documentary is really good
- 16:26Speaker 3: about the Spice Girls. Oh I remember it was a
- 16:28Speaker 3: good five year run they had. Oh sure, yeah, that's
- 16:30Speaker 3: why I married a British redhead sill.
- 16:36Speaker 4: So yeah, that were the main things. And there's a
- 16:38Speaker 4: like it's not necessarily a subplot. It's what our friend
- 16:41Speaker 4: would call a runner running gag, except it's a gag
- 16:45Speaker 4: that you should run away from because it's not pretty good.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Pretty good. Apparently Running Man also a movie should run
- 16:49Speaker 3: away fro apparently not good. The new one. I didn't
- 16:51Speaker 3: enjoy it, and I love the Running Man. Yeah, you
- 16:53Speaker 3: always talk about Running Man the Visional, which I haven't seen.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I don't know my favorite book. It's a really great book.
- 16:58Speaker 3: And the old movie is m movie.
- 17:00Speaker 4: It's fine, but yeah, the new Running Man with Glenn
- 17:04Speaker 4: Powell is like, I'm not enjoying this, and guess what
- 17:07Speaker 4: else I'm not enjoying.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm the running fan away from this movie.
- 17:11Speaker 4: I'm not a running fan of the Running Man, but
- 17:13Speaker 4: I'm not a gag. I'm not a fan of the
- 17:15Speaker 4: gag that has Nelson taking his vision impaired classmate under
- 17:21Speaker 4: his wing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Either's one of my favorite moments. Really, I liked it.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I liked it that the payoff was that he got
- 17:26Speaker 3: him back in the end.
- 17:28Speaker 4: It could have been done better. What did you not like?
- 17:30Speaker 3: What was it not? Like, well, we're doing favorite moments.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I was saying there was this was a
- 17:36Speaker 4: gag that I did not enjoy, and you were agreeing
- 17:39Speaker 4: on something.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, there's something that's not good in this. Oh
- 17:41Speaker 3: I thought you're still talking about the Lisa's thought at
- 17:43Speaker 3: Lisa No no, no, no, okay, I understand it now. I liked
- 17:46Speaker 3: the Nelson bit. It's interesting how it tastes changed. Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I liked that because you see kids who you know,
- 17:54Speaker 3: have a what we call a handicapp or some kind
- 17:55Speaker 3: or whatever, and they don't see it as an issue.
- 17:57Speaker 3: And we talk about Jimmy and Timmy in South Park
- 18:01Speaker 3: and people say, oh, they're mocking them for their stutter
- 18:03Speaker 3: and whatnots like, no, the kids around them don't see
- 18:06Speaker 3: as any different. They treat them normally. Nelson here is
- 18:08Speaker 3: the idiot because he's treating and the kids like, I
- 18:10Speaker 3: don't see myself as different. That's like, that's great that
- 18:12Speaker 3: you feel this, because there are so many people who
- 18:14Speaker 3: do take that approach.
- 18:15Speaker 4: You know, of course, how many times have we said about,
- 18:19Speaker 4: you know, crowd work with stand up comedians and they'll
- 18:22Speaker 4: rag on everyone in the room and they'll see one
- 18:24Speaker 4: who is someone who was disabled or marginalized in some
- 18:27Speaker 4: fashionable like oh, not touching that. It's like, man, come on,
- 18:30Speaker 4: I want to be part of it. I want to
- 18:31Speaker 4: be part of the process.
- 18:32Speaker 3: But I liked at the end that the blind Kid
- 18:35Speaker 3: got Nelson back. You know, the apprentice becomes the master
- 18:37Speaker 3: whenever he says something along those lines.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I liked the idea of it, I didn't like the
- 18:41Speaker 4: execution of it.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I don't know who was doing the voice of what's
- 18:43Speaker 4: the character's name? Want to say, Fred Kevin?
- 18:45Speaker 3: Kevin? Okay, I'll just keep calling him blind kids.
- 18:51Speaker 4: I'm looking at Dano's insensitive notes here. Lot of use
- 18:53Speaker 4: the R word in there, buddy, considering there was no
- 18:57Speaker 4: R What do you doing none of that. I don't
- 19:01Speaker 4: know who it was voicing that character. It was sort
- 19:03Speaker 4: of like, I guess it was the joke that they
- 19:06Speaker 4: were bland and half hearted, they didn't have a lot
- 19:09Speaker 4: of personality, and and they became a bit of a
- 19:11Speaker 4: it's just a normal kid, I guess.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. It didn't really work for me
- 19:15Speaker 3: fair enough. Yeah, Oh that was one of my favorite moments.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Oh okay, then it wasn't one, man, my favorite.
- 19:21Speaker 3: What was your favorite moments? This episode had two.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I bring this up maybe more than I should, but
- 19:28Speaker 4: I just like traditional sitcom gags. I think when they're
- 19:30Speaker 4: pulled off, it's like, oh, that just not made my day.
- 19:34Speaker 3: But it's like, that's really good. I like it when
- 19:36Speaker 3: the job's done well, and you can tell when it's
- 19:38Speaker 3: It's a classic sitcom gag as well, exactly, and these
- 19:40Speaker 3: are two of them.
- 19:42Speaker 4: There's a lot of yeah at the start, oh, we
- 19:44Speaker 4: don't know how to work the GPS. GPS is so
- 19:46Speaker 4: confusing until you go one way, but then you shouldn't
- 19:48Speaker 4: blah blah.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Blah, which works in twenty ten. I feel that they're
- 19:50Speaker 3: a lot better now because they're like, there's road works ahead,
- 19:52Speaker 3: there's a speed camera, head back into it, and it's like,
- 19:54Speaker 3: this is if you didn't update the software. It's like,
- 19:56Speaker 3: this is a two thousand and five version of this GPS.
- 19:59Speaker 4: I was watching video on Waymo's last Night driver as cars,
- 20:03Speaker 4: and Waymo is a company that has driverless cars, taxis
- 20:08Speaker 4: and things like that. That's terrifying to me.
- 20:09Speaker 3: It really is.
- 20:10Speaker 4: But they're also saying it's like and reputable people saying
- 20:13Speaker 4: the number of fatalities is like way way, way way down.
- 20:17Speaker 4: And you've got people from any that's saying these cars
- 20:19Speaker 4: don't drive drunk, they don't drive distracted, they're not you know, texting,
- 20:22Speaker 4: they're not changing the radio station anything, but.
- 20:24Speaker 3: The cars around them. Ah, well, there is that. But
- 20:27Speaker 3: you can be the safest driver in the world. It's
- 20:29Speaker 3: always idiot. On the other side, it's always the very
- 20:31Speaker 3: it's never my fault. But I thought when they arrived
- 20:36Speaker 3: at school at the end, it's like, yeah, but they've
- 20:38Speaker 3: been taken there by a toe truck. It's like, oh,
- 20:40Speaker 3: that was good. That was a good notice that. Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I thought that was a really great review.
- 20:44Speaker 4: It was just yeah, snappily done.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I did like the Schubar kicks's smart in the computer
- 20:49Speaker 3: and it's like, no, he probably is. Yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 4: So one good visual gig and one good one liner
- 20:54Speaker 4: is when Nicky's parents show up. I'm an attorney and
- 21:00Speaker 4: you know, my husband here is a prosecutor, federal prosecutor,
- 21:03Speaker 4: federal prosecutor, and then we're both angry. It's like, maybe
- 21:07Speaker 4: it should look for better job, or maybe it's easier jobs.
- 21:10Speaker 4: It's like, that's a classic Homer gag. Yeah, that's one
- 21:13Speaker 4: that I was. There was actually several in that one scene.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Another one was We're gonna sue you down to your
- 21:18Speaker 4: last time. Dancy just yeah, of course he's a professional. Yeah,
- 21:24Speaker 4: of course, he's really really good at voicing Homer and
- 21:27Speaker 4: other characters. But yeah, just that, well maybe you guys
- 21:29Speaker 4: should look easy a job like that's that's gold.
- 21:32Speaker 3: We're going to make you wishy. Never someone's ever born.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Halfway there, baby, really good ones in that scene. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 3: so those are my favorites. Yeah, so I liked that.
- 21:41Speaker 3: I liked the I like missus Hoover taking joy and
- 21:45Speaker 3: Lisa failing. Is she miss Hoover or missus Hoover miss
- 21:49Speaker 3: Hoover miss Hoover? Yeah, yeah, sorry, And there's a reason
- 21:52Speaker 3: they call him miss Hoover. Oh yeah, have you have
- 21:55Speaker 3: you seen that scene? Oh yeah, yeah, you did it.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You did a whole little short on it. I think
- 22:01Speaker 3: you put it on. Oh yeah, we did too. Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It's like damn and then we got demonetized, just like
- 22:06Speaker 3: in approve it.
- 22:10Speaker 4: There's nothing if people understand you conflate hoover with vacuum cleaner,
- 22:16Speaker 4: not outside of the UK.
- 22:17Speaker 3: No, No, I didn't know what that meant until I
- 22:19Speaker 3: met nickoln Because I'm going to hoover at the floor.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I'm like, what the fuck are you talking about? I'm
- 22:23Speaker 3: gonna hoover. I'm like, that's vacuuming. She goes, No, it's Hoovering.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I'm like, Hoover is a brand. Oh yeah, but I
- 22:31Speaker 3: did the same thing. Though I've mentioned this before. We
- 22:33Speaker 3: used to say I want a berevel sandwich, which meant
- 22:35Speaker 3: toasted sandwich. Yeah, that's not a beveled sandwich of breble set.
- 22:39Speaker 4: It's a toasted s It's like, oh God, I need
- 22:42Speaker 4: to blow my No, someone get me a clean X.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's I'm going to you don't watch wrestling. You
- 22:47Speaker 3: watched WWE.
- 22:49Speaker 4: The first one to get there, not actually not always
- 22:52Speaker 4: the first one, but the most excessful one or the
- 22:53Speaker 4: one that really makes the real imprint. Yeah, it's so
- 22:57Speaker 4: their name becomes synonymous with the actual act. They talk
- 23:00Speaker 4: about it in either the social network or Steve Jobs.
- 23:03Speaker 4: It's like, you know, for years in America, like IBM
- 23:06Speaker 4: was the phone company, and that was just you know,
- 23:09Speaker 4: it was LIKEM or maybe AT and T's gonna say
- 23:14Speaker 4: it wasn't.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Yeah, ib was computers.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I know, and then IBM became the
- 23:18Speaker 4: computer company.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Or something along those. We can't let that happen for
- 23:21Speaker 3: a while because you had the when they had the
- 23:23Speaker 3: clear computers as a kid. This is the way of
- 23:26Speaker 3: the future to be able to see into the computer.
- 23:28Speaker 3: It felt the greatest thing in the world. It was great. Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 3: and it was form and function. Was it the iMac? Yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 3: the school had all these that you wanted. The computer
- 23:37Speaker 3: that marful, Yeah, the blue one.
- 23:41Speaker 4: I love the IMAD thought it was fantastic.
- 23:43Speaker 3: You know.
- 23:44Speaker 4: People were saying, oh, it's a bit chintzy and a
- 23:45Speaker 4: bit sort of was iMac. iMac pretty sure that one. Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 4: as you said on a previous episode, I was pretty
- 23:54Speaker 4: much always right.
- 23:56Speaker 3: But it felt like they were more translucent. This is
- 23:58Speaker 3: a very translucent, but there was like was purple ones
- 24:00Speaker 3: and there, but they had that looking. Yeah, it was
- 24:03Speaker 3: so cool. They really were.
- 24:05Speaker 4: And I look, you spoke recently about your new TV
- 24:09Speaker 4: and how it's like thin.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yeah, put the guys put in the wall, and I'm like,
- 24:12Speaker 3: he's like, it's got a snap.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Well that's yeah, was saying the same thing. But she
- 24:18Speaker 4: she got a new TV as well, very very thin one.
- 24:21Speaker 4: And you know, I'll come over with stuff on a
- 24:22Speaker 4: on a USB stick to ca ye, put that poke
- 24:28Speaker 4: it through the TV.
- 24:28Speaker 3: My TV's got the one connect box. Okay. So now
- 24:32Speaker 3: it's one call coming from the back and there's a
- 24:34Speaker 3: box on the bottle which has all your HD MY
- 24:35Speaker 3: reports and things. So now don't have anything into the
- 24:38Speaker 3: TV anymore. Yeah, convenient when it's on the wall, because
- 24:41Speaker 3: trying to get it into the TV when it's on
- 24:42Speaker 3: the warts impossible. Yeah, I know what you mean. Yeah, anyway, okay,
- 24:47Speaker 3: but favorite moments should be time ask one question each. Okay, okay,
- 24:54Speaker 3: well I did have three. But my other favorite movie,
- 24:56Speaker 3: by the way, was I like Homer's Legs under the car.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and Bugger, look that's genius. Next question you
- 25:04Speaker 3: there eating the Beast.
- 25:06Speaker 4: I did have three true questions, but then you killed one,
- 25:08Speaker 4: So now I've got two as minute.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Shall I ask you one? Yes?
- 25:14Speaker 4: I worked around it before when I mentioned them. But
- 25:16Speaker 4: what other names of Nicky's parents? I didn't say them? Ah, Bugger,
- 25:20Speaker 4: Damn Brody and Madison McKenna Brody. And there was wasn't
- 25:24Speaker 4: a surfer kid body? I think in the Yeah, yeah,
- 25:28Speaker 4: you know who body was when it comes to surfing.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Bro that's some point, Braig, isn't it is? Patrick Swayze? Yeah? Man,
- 25:34Speaker 3: you glad I knew that.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Sure this podcast, dude, doesn't that point break this relationship?
- 25:41Speaker 3: Oser? My question for you is what play was canceled?
- 25:45Speaker 3: Oh man, was it? I fair lady? Yes, I watch grade.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I'm going to say five third grade? Oh no, yes,
- 25:51Speaker 3: third grade? All right, that's trivia. Let's get up with
- 25:53Speaker 3: this one more question. It's more questions. Go hit me
- 25:55Speaker 3: with your question.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Okay, missus K has gone where to save her sister
- 25:59Speaker 4: from the programmers who are going to do programming from
- 26:01Speaker 4: that other culture. Yes, we're aware of it because someone
- 26:05Speaker 4: we know goes there frequently.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Someone we need.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Goes their second home. That's Portland and I think it's Portland.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Did they say Portland or just Oregon? I think we'll
- 26:16Speaker 4: get to in the notes.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yes, And my final question for you will
- 26:19Speaker 3: be who says no, who's taking the no touching pledge?
- 26:23Speaker 3: Which famous singer?
- 26:25Speaker 4: It was their version of handam on Tanna, which is
- 26:30Speaker 4: damn it Alaska Nebraska.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Having a stroke. I can't get I can't give you
- 26:43Speaker 3: mouth to mouth. We've got a no.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Touch all right, So you give someone you wouldn't give
- 26:48Speaker 4: someone mouth to mouth that they're having a stroke, would you?
- 26:50Speaker 3: What you do having I'm not sure knows what they're doing.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I'm talking about someone to give old boar Stone Cutter

- 28:01Speaker 3: this episode was March twenty Firth The Three Firth March
- 28:05Speaker 3: twenty first, twenty ten. The top three films at the
- 28:07Speaker 3: US box office when this episode aired were number three
- 28:11Speaker 3: Diary of a Whimpy Kid apparently making number six at
- 28:13Speaker 3: the moment or something. I've never seen any of them,
- 28:14Speaker 3: never read anything about it. No, I just know very
- 28:16Speaker 3: successful franchise.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Yeah, they rebranded it now's Diary of a CEO.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yes, and that I thought that was not bad. Number
- 28:26Speaker 3: two is a movie about Boba Fett the Bounty Hunter?
- 28:30Speaker 3: Are you aware what the Bounty Hunter is? No?
- 28:33Speaker 4: There was a stage, No, that would be a great movie.
- 28:37Speaker 4: There was a stage in the late two thousand's, in
- 28:40Speaker 4: the early twenty twins where it's like, you know who
- 28:43Speaker 4: can do anything? Is Gerard Butler?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Oh?
- 28:45Speaker 3: Oh, why now do this movie?
- 28:46Speaker 4: Yeah, let's let's put him in romantic comedies. It's like,
- 28:48Speaker 4: I like LEAs has Fallen. I like Gerard Butler a lot. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 4: but it's like, I'm.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Not sure he's built for rom coms.
- 28:56Speaker 4: No, and this is this is kind of like a
- 28:59Speaker 4: take on Note run Well. I think it's is it
- 29:01Speaker 4: him and Jennifer Aniston?
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, And she's like Milo must retrieve, he's bail
- 29:06Speaker 3: jumping ex wife Nicole. The job gets tougher than he
- 29:09Speaker 3: anticipated when Nicole escapes while chasing a lead and they
- 29:11Speaker 3: both end up on the run for their lives.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I don't remember a great deal about it.
- 29:17Speaker 4: But he also made one with Catherine Heigel from Knocked
- 29:19Speaker 4: Up and Gray's Anatomy called The Ugly Truth, and that
- 29:22Speaker 4: was like, Wow, this is a this is a war crime.
- 29:25Speaker 4: So it's like, hey, Gerard Butler, I think you should
- 29:27Speaker 4: maybe just do action from now on.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Rom Com because another one that I know of that
- 29:31Speaker 3: did really well perce I Love You. Oh yeah, it
- 29:34Speaker 3: was more like a tear jerker.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Yeah, because didn't did he die well anything? Oh well,
- 29:42Speaker 4: I think that's I don't think that's a twist. I
- 29:44Speaker 4: think that's the whole premise of the movie is that
- 29:46Speaker 4: you know he's he's died, but he's left a whole
- 29:49Speaker 4: bunch of notes for his for his ex wife.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so holy. Kennedy receives letters from her late husband
- 29:55Speaker 3: that bring her hope, strength and inspiration and make her
- 29:58Speaker 3: feel as if he is standing by her side through
- 30:00Speaker 3: there's difficulties in life.
- 30:01Speaker 4: And she eventually finds Love Again with Jeffrey Dean Morgan
- 30:05Speaker 4: who basically looks at.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Hell Butler and brings out Lucille and that's Russia gets
- 30:09Speaker 3: real its Negangan or Negan.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I always said Megan, but Megan, and then now American
- 30:19Speaker 4: seams the friend will say Meghan.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's where they say Craig instead of Craig.
- 30:23Speaker 4: As well, they do stop mispronouncing Craig.
- 30:26Speaker 3: I sort of think about that. Apparently it was like
- 30:27Speaker 3: the anniversary of when the episode where he killed what's
- 30:30Speaker 3: his face Glenn in the wring Dead and everyone's like,
- 30:32Speaker 3: and five million viewers stopped watching the show immediately. Literally,
- 30:36Speaker 3: What's what happened? I reckon I last maybe two or
- 30:37Speaker 3: three more episodes, and then Nicola just looked at me.
- 30:39Speaker 3: She's like, I'm not enjoying this anymore. It's just it's
- 30:42Speaker 3: become gruel. It's making me, making me feel bad, and
- 30:46Speaker 3: you watch the rating and it's just like a lot
- 30:48Speaker 3: of people like that with Thrones.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I think a lot of people like that post
- 30:52Speaker 4: Red Wedding. Yeah anyway, yeah, but Joy Butler, he's doing fun.
- 30:57Speaker 4: He basically recently made a movie in Melbourne. It was
- 31:00Speaker 4: not far from us.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Oh, Okay, I had him on the show. I saw
- 31:02Speaker 3: a tweet where it was like, they don't make forty
- 31:05Speaker 3: million dollar action movie or forty million dollar movies anymore.
- 31:07Speaker 3: It's all big budget movies. And someone shared a picture
- 31:10Speaker 3: Joe Gard Butler is Girard Girard Gard Butler. This guy's
- 31:13Speaker 3: still making them. And then it's like state them as well,
- 31:16Speaker 3: that these guys keeping the genre alive. Yeah, very much.
- 31:18Speaker 3: So they don't care where the film's coming out. It's
- 31:21Speaker 3: just like paying my money and they'll be there all right.
- 31:24Speaker 3: So yes, they're still in first base. That the top
- 31:27Speaker 3: three films that I say, all of them, and Alison
- 31:28Speaker 3: Wonderland is still number one. How hell? Why what's going
- 31:33Speaker 3: on here? What else is that? Yeah, she's out of
- 31:36Speaker 3: my league. Fail all the way down to number six.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Oh boy, have a taste lingering around. But anyway, So
- 31:42Speaker 3: the episode was written by John Frink, directed by Stephen
- 31:46Speaker 3: Dean Moore Jeffrey Dean Morgan. No, not at all, No,
- 31:51Speaker 3: and the chopball gag World War two could not beat
- 31:53Speaker 3: up World War One and the catch gig is the
- 31:55Speaker 3: catch is replaced by an empty garden. It rains a
- 31:58Speaker 3: giant squash is produced, and Marge, Maggie, and Lisa as
- 32:01Speaker 3: insects fly to the vegetable hoping for a meal. Home,
- 32:04Speaker 3: his caterpillar like head pops out and the rest of
- 32:06Speaker 3: the family comes around him. Don't forget that. You also
- 32:09Speaker 3: have the billboard. Yes, what is the billboard?
- 32:12Speaker 4: The billboard is I've forgot Oh damn, I forgot the
- 32:14Speaker 4: name of the clinic. But it says Home of the
- 32:16Speaker 4: One Hour sex Change, so it's probably doctor Nick.
- 32:19Speaker 3: So as doctor Nick on there, I believe. So, Okay,
- 32:22Speaker 3: I don't think he works for any particular clinic. He's
- 32:23Speaker 3: just he's his own beat.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Okay, well it did say Home of the One Hour
- 32:26Speaker 4: sex Change.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, wow, oh wait, we never sod kicks
- 32:30Speaker 3: off with as we were saying, Homer using the GPS
- 32:32Speaker 3: to get the kids to school, and it's in meters
- 32:34Speaker 3: and not what do they say feet? Yard? Years? Yeah?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yards yeah, which is always weird for me because playing
- 32:41Speaker 3: like Tiger was ninety nine, it's like one hundred and
- 32:43Speaker 3: thirty seven yards. I'm like, how far is this? It
- 32:45Speaker 3: does make any talking like backyard, But my dad always
- 32:48Speaker 3: knew because D's like we used to do it by
- 32:50Speaker 3: this method, and when dad was younger it was like, no,
- 32:52Speaker 3: we used yards, we didn't use meters. When did Australia
- 32:54Speaker 3: change to the metric system, that's a good question.
- 32:56Speaker 4: I want to say in the nineteen seventies, but maybe
- 33:00Speaker 4: the eighties.
- 33:01Speaker 3: It was in between seventeen seventy seven. Yeah, seventy four
- 33:05Speaker 3: converted to kilometers. It was correct. So you would only
- 33:08Speaker 3: really remember this though metrics, wouldn't you, because you.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Weren't two young sort of pretty much?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah, because that's all what Nicholas family come over like,
- 33:14Speaker 3: oh yeah, I lost two stone. I'm like, I don't
- 33:16Speaker 3: know what you're talking about. Mum will always yeah, so
- 33:18Speaker 3: does my mum. And they still say stone.
- 33:20Speaker 4: You can lose a stone or two guys like.
- 33:22Speaker 3: God damn, but but one saying I lose one stone
- 33:28Speaker 3: as opposed to five kilos like once I can lose
- 33:31Speaker 3: one stone. Yeah, that's all right. It's like what kind
- 33:34Speaker 3: of medieval measurement are you using here? Yeah? Well how
- 33:37Speaker 3: much is a stone?
- 33:38Speaker 4: One stone is something?
- 33:41Speaker 3: It's six colock. See, mums like you lose ten kilos?
- 33:44Speaker 3: That what she said, you use a couple of lose
- 33:48Speaker 3: couple of stone. I don't know there was that much
- 33:50Speaker 3: six point three kilosa. It's a big stone. Yeah. Well
- 33:56Speaker 3: sometimes you say, people say, you know, I lost ten
- 33:58Speaker 3: kilos and that's sounds like that's good. It's a good effort.
- 34:01Speaker 3: You go to a supermarket get ten bags of one
- 34:04Speaker 3: kilo sugar. That's a lot. Yeah, that's a lot of
- 34:06Speaker 3: fucking weight, it is, I think a lot. Yeah, it
- 34:10Speaker 3: is a lot of weight. Indeed. Yeah, okay, yes, they're
- 34:14Speaker 3: doing the GPS in me. Just hope he doesn't understand.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Lisa explains the math. They missed their turn, takes them
- 34:19Speaker 3: into a construction site and it does like drop elevation.
- 34:21Speaker 3: I think they get listed up in the end. Yeah, yeada.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I thought it was a funny opener. It was not
- 34:25Speaker 3: too bad. Yeah. Then he dropped off at school, throws
- 34:27Speaker 3: a GPS into the pool in the house across the road,
- 34:29Speaker 3: but then enters class. The kids are just ruining everything.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Missus case she's not going to be This is what
- 34:33Speaker 3: happened when the substitute teacher wasn't arriving. Missus Casey's gone to Portland.
- 34:36Speaker 3: As you said, yep, people have hired people. She hired
- 34:39Speaker 3: a d program. Her sister from the cult turned out
- 34:41Speaker 3: to be an even bigger cult. So Skinner says they're
- 34:43Speaker 3: going to merge both the fourth grade classes, and the
- 34:47Speaker 3: teacher takes their shoes off, and the twins are a
- 34:49Speaker 3: boy and a girl. Their kids are arriving, and then
- 34:51Speaker 3: they other kids in the other class aren't being very
- 34:53Speaker 3: welcome to them. Boat he's a surface, he's not. He's
- 34:56Speaker 3: kind of Tom the house. Yeah, as Air. A blind child.
- 34:58Speaker 3: I think his name is Kevin. Didn't run he his name? Apologies, Kevin, pologies,
- 35:01Speaker 3: blind child, he says next to Nelson, and Nelson thinks,
- 35:04Speaker 3: oh no, he's lunchbox off and he goes to bout
- 35:06Speaker 3: and then he realizes he's blind, and Nelson's just like,
- 35:07Speaker 3: oh my god, I've got a friend who could look
- 35:09Speaker 3: after him.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Here.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Got to protect him, even though he doesn't want to
- 35:10Speaker 3: be protected. Then Bart meets Nikki as she devised the
- 35:13Speaker 3: desk with frank and cherry fruit by the foot.
- 35:17Speaker 1: My side, your side, Hi, Nikki, I'm Bart. The situation
- 35:22Speaker 1: it's nuts, right, Oh look at you opening a book
- 35:26Speaker 1: so you won't have to talk to me. Well, I'm
- 35:28Speaker 1: just gonna be tuning up the old armpit.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I can never do the fat noise in the arpit
- 35:36Speaker 3: you could never do it. I can do that in
- 35:38Speaker 3: the head. I was able to do it. Remember when
- 35:41Speaker 3: you're when you're a kid, it's like you want the
- 35:42Speaker 3: really sloppy ones. You just sort of lick your hand
- 35:43Speaker 3: a little bit before you do it. Wow, have you
- 35:47Speaker 3: passed some information on do elliot? I have indeed. Okay,
- 35:49Speaker 3: he discovered So my kids just discovered one of life's
- 35:53Speaker 3: great joys. The whoopee cushion. Oh they'd never seen a
- 35:56Speaker 3: whoope cushion before. This whoope cushion gave them hours, hours
- 36:02Speaker 3: of joy. It'll be like discovering fire. It's just like
- 36:06Speaker 3: you blow up and it farts again, and you know
- 36:08Speaker 3: they they're playing tricks on you. And I can see
- 36:11Speaker 3: it coming a mile away, and I was like it
- 36:13Speaker 3: and I can hear them, and I'm like, all right,
- 36:15Speaker 3: take my tongue, get into the chair. Ali puts it
- 36:17Speaker 3: in their hide. Line it up right, Do sit down
- 36:21Speaker 3: on it too fast because you're split it? Yeah, sit down. Kids,
- 36:24Speaker 3: think it's the peak of comedy. We got him. He
- 36:27Speaker 3: never saw it coming.
- 36:28Speaker 4: When it comes to tuning out the armpit, one of
- 36:30Speaker 4: my very vivid childhood memories is Paul Hogan did it
- 36:34Speaker 4: on The Paul Hogan Astralian Ic on Paul Hogan This Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 4: hes there, his weekly show just called The Paul Hogan Show.
- 36:43Speaker 4: But on one episode, one of his characters, all Hoages
- 36:46Speaker 4: himself basically did putting the one hand under the armpit
- 36:49Speaker 4: and flapping it makes a farting noise.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Came to the next day.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Every second person, by which I mean every boy, the
- 36:58Speaker 4: girls just looking like you guys are.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Idiots, but every boy was doing it.
- 37:03Speaker 4: And if you could do it well, you were basically
- 37:06Speaker 4: just hoisted on shoulder and just carried around like champion.
- 37:09Speaker 3: It's a universal thing. Farts will always be funny. They will, Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 3: they will. Nicky's not having anything to do with but
- 37:15Speaker 3: she's not interested at all at this point. Then Lisa
- 37:18Speaker 3: she gets an f and usually this is where she
- 37:20Speaker 3: wakes up, so she's like, she jumps off the desk
- 37:21Speaker 3: and she face plants the ground, and Miss Weeaver says,
- 37:24Speaker 3: I take her joy in this, little miss perfect. And
- 37:26Speaker 3: bar is now reading A Hungry Caterpillar's blown away by
- 37:29Speaker 3: how much his hungry caterpillar can eat, and Nicky is
- 37:31Speaker 3: reading Red Moon, and Bart's like, ah, that craps a
- 37:34Speaker 3: lot of shit. You know, here's what the real Dracula,
- 37:37Speaker 3: real vampire and a Stracula with Yoda's head cut off
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yoda's head. But yeah, they're ragging on Twilight here. This
- 37:42Speaker 3: is very twilet was very big at this time. It
- 37:44Speaker 3: was very big at this time, and I was very
- 37:46Speaker 3: I'm very pro Bart here. I never got the Twilight phase.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I mean, obviously it was more targeted at the female viewer. Yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 3: but I just I tried to watch one once and
- 37:55Speaker 3: I was just like, this is what you're watching this? Yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 3: I never read it any of the books. Nikola loved it.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I was like, really, yeah, he seems too smart.
- 38:05Speaker 4: For this, Nicola. Everybody's got this something.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I've watched pro wrestling.
- 38:10Speaker 4: But I was reading movies at the time, so I
- 38:12Speaker 4: would I had to see all the Twilight movies and
- 38:14Speaker 4: I was kind of like, not for me.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I just felt very emotional for nothing.
- 38:22Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, but that's what it's like when you're
- 38:25Speaker 4: young and in love and like, oh wow, emotions.
- 38:29Speaker 3: But she doesn't feel the many. She's blown away by
- 38:32Speaker 3: Bart's drawing of Dracula, so she allows him to draw
- 38:34Speaker 3: a tattoo on her on her it's just a.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Text he of course, yes, of a robot, throwing up screws.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Yes. Then out the window we see Lisa who's sat
- 38:41Speaker 3: on the sea saw. She hopes Harvey Ever find out
- 38:44Speaker 3: about her f and then all the other kids start
- 38:46Speaker 3: thing and she's cooler now because you've got you failed.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I'm like, God, you're no longer a nerd. And then
- 38:50Speaker 3: Miss Hoover arrives and ruins the party by saying she
- 38:52Speaker 3: actually got an a trouble plus and she got confused
- 38:54Speaker 3: with Ralph. Was Ralph copied Lisa's name but not her
- 38:57Speaker 3: answers or something?
- 38:59Speaker 4: Once again, it gives me no joy to say, piss
- 39:01Speaker 4: off Ralph.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And then the kids mock her for being gifted.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I'm just advanced. You can all catch up. Then Bart
- 39:07Speaker 3: asks Homer for some advice with girls. He thinks he's
- 39:10Speaker 3: under the car, but he's not so because that's actually genius.
- 39:14Speaker 3: But then Marge catches Homer walking around. He's basically be
- 39:16Speaker 3: fixing the car. He goes and hides under the car
- 39:18Speaker 3: as well, and Homer says, go talk to Grandpa. He
- 39:20Speaker 3: used to be a man. He can't peel the banana.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I like this transition, so Grandpa, and it cuts the
- 39:25Speaker 3: butt killing it for him. Yeah, yes, And Grandpa says
- 39:28Speaker 3: to still a kiss to see if she still likes him.
- 39:31Speaker 3: And I remember like it was yesterday, and he's remembering
- 39:33Speaker 3: white noise, So basically he's saying, here, just just kiss
- 39:36Speaker 3: her in your day, buddy, that might have worked. Yes,
- 39:40Speaker 3: it's I'm not going to work now. So he sees Nicky,
- 39:43Speaker 3: who's now skateboarding. He can't believe. O my god, she
- 39:45Speaker 3: boards as well. We have montage and them skateboarding together,
- 39:47Speaker 3: having a good time. At the end, he says, well,
- 39:49Speaker 3: this seems like the right moment top of the slide,
- 39:52Speaker 3: goes in for a smooch, gives or a kiss, and
- 39:53Speaker 3: she just she embarrasses him. Oh my god, that was
- 39:56Speaker 3: my first kiss and I'm never gonna get it again.
- 39:58Speaker 3: And it's with Bart Simpson and rolls a way dejected,
- 40:00Speaker 3: doesn't he Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 4: By the way, I want to give a shout out
- 40:03Speaker 4: to the music that was playing when they were skateboarding. Nice,
- 40:06Speaker 4: a little electronica thing. I don't know exactly what it was.
- 40:10Speaker 4: I want to say, was the great Georgio Moroder from
- 40:14Speaker 4: Midnight express That's kind of what it felt like. But anyway,
- 40:17Speaker 4: I just wanted to say that.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Was cool music. Did you read the wiki page? I did,
- 40:21Speaker 3: and they did not mention it. Now Nicky's parents are
- 40:23Speaker 3: confronting Margin Homer in Skinner's office. Marge Homer, this is
- 40:27Speaker 3: Brody and Mandison McKenna Bart has been sharing a desk
- 40:30Speaker 3: with their daughter.
- 40:30Speaker 2: NICKI earlier today, your son engaged in inappropriate mouth on
- 40:35Speaker 2: mouth contact with our daughter.
- 40:38Speaker 3: You mean he kissed on the top of the slide.
- 40:42Speaker 3: That's all that happened, and I got to miss work
- 40:45Speaker 3: I could get you.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Mister Simpson. I'm an attorney and my husband is a
- 40:50Speaker 2: federal prosecutor, and neither of us is happy.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Maybe you guys should look for easier jobs.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Unless you make this an affection free environment, we will
- 40:59Speaker 2: sue this school for its last time. All right, here
- 41:02Speaker 2: it is, and we will make you regret the day
- 41:04Speaker 2: your son was born.
- 41:06Speaker 3: You're half way home, lady, Yeah, good gags.
- 41:10Speaker 4: I mean the characters of Brodian Matters are a bit obvious, yeah,
- 41:13Speaker 4: and a bit kind of again, sort of feeling like
- 41:16Speaker 4: the writers are old man shakes hystic clouds, like oh,
- 41:19Speaker 4: this model litigious society.
- 41:20Speaker 3: And that's coming from my perspective. I come across a
- 41:24Speaker 3: lot of parents of kids obviously now, and there are
- 41:28Speaker 3: so many parents out there that just get their niggas in,
- 41:31Speaker 3: are not overdding nothing, and you just think, just relax,
- 41:36Speaker 3: just chilling out. You can't be feeding them this. It's
- 41:38Speaker 3: got this that I'm like, I hate it.
- 41:41Speaker 4: I was fine, we didn't die unless it's got a
- 41:44Speaker 4: nut in it.
- 41:45Speaker 3: But well, I'll just go talk to Nikki. It was like,
- 41:48Speaker 3: you can't talk to nick anymore. Like I will suit
- 41:49Speaker 3: the passives. We can't do it. We'll be eating garbage
- 41:51Speaker 3: the buses. Is weird thing about Mum can turn garbage
- 41:53Speaker 3: into a tasteful food or something. I don't know the
- 41:57Speaker 3: whole I'll just be oh, thanks, Yeah, I didn't get
- 42:00Speaker 3: to the point of that. Homer takes but somewhere to
- 42:03Speaker 3: distract boys. And it's the itchy and scratchy movie. I
- 42:05Speaker 3: guess cinema, aren't they infrating? Ah? Yeah? And this goes
- 42:09Speaker 3: on for erva. What's it a parody of?
- 42:10Speaker 4: This is the parody of a movie called kayanus Quatzi. Okay,
- 42:13Speaker 4: It's just like a very big art movie in the eighties.
- 42:16Speaker 4: It's basically there's no story to it. It's just a
- 42:18Speaker 4: lot of images of modern life.
- 42:19Speaker 3: The word is.
- 42:21Speaker 4: I've forgotten the actual Native American tribe, but it basically
- 42:25Speaker 4: translated its life out of balance, and you're showing a
- 42:27Speaker 4: lot of images of the modern world. It's kind of like, oh,
- 42:30Speaker 4: it would just be cool and natural, and now we're
- 42:32Speaker 4: imposing a lot of weird shit on it. It's kind
- 42:35Speaker 4: of a rite of passage, certainly in the eighties for
- 42:38Speaker 4: young people, maybe in their late teens early twenties, to
- 42:42Speaker 4: get really stoned, go to the Valhalla Cinema and watch
- 42:45Speaker 4: Kina Quatsi.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Okay, well they never got stone, but they're watching in
- 42:49Speaker 3: three D they are.
- 42:50Speaker 4: And also what they're showing here is not really kinda
- 42:52Speaker 4: squatzi either. So it was just a weird it's weird
- 42:55Speaker 4: from the inception, and it's poorly executed.
- 42:57Speaker 3: And it goes on way too long. Yeah at list,
- 43:00Speaker 3: I mean, while was in the school library writing to
- 43:02Speaker 3: a fellow gardening enthusiasts, she says he's too sad to
- 43:04Speaker 3: do anything, and then she gets a message from Floats
- 43:06Speaker 3: one saying Nope, don't give up, and Skinner calls for
- 43:09Speaker 3: the pretty patronage. Skinner calls for the assembly and these
- 43:12Speaker 3: where they announced that there's now going to be they
- 43:15Speaker 3: did the play there's going to be a no touching
- 43:16Speaker 3: policy because but kissed the girl essentially, so we have
- 43:20Speaker 3: Skinner playing the role of Bart and Willy's playing the
- 43:22Speaker 3: role of the girl.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Did you at your school ever have this kind of
- 43:25Speaker 4: thing not not necessarily put on by the school itself,
- 43:27Speaker 4: but they would like bring in outside theater groups or whatever.
- 43:30Speaker 4: It's like, here's why bullying is bad. Yeah, I'm pretty
- 43:33Speaker 4: sure we knew that. Yeah, it's still fun. But it
- 43:36Speaker 4: was a chance to get out of school, to be
- 43:37Speaker 4: sitting here. You're like, hey, it's it's something to watch,
- 43:39Speaker 4: watching get a class, watching the Wooly Jumpers. That was
- 43:42Speaker 4: the local theater trip that would do shit like that.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Yep, but this is basically here. Whether that's you can't
- 43:48Speaker 3: you can't touch any touch on the kids anymore. They
- 43:50Speaker 3: have Willy and Skinner kiss. They all laugh and if
- 43:53Speaker 3: you don't stop laughing, I'll make them kiss. If on
- 43:55Speaker 3: long goog make the kiss.
- 43:55Speaker 4: All day, And they started making out for real.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Yeah, there's now no kissing policy at the school. Alaska
- 44:01Speaker 3: Nebraska says I took I took no touching policy. Pledge
- 44:04Speaker 3: Goodie is a Reels another poster. Bart thinks that he's
- 44:06Speaker 3: done something wrong. He has, but they've made him. They've
- 44:10Speaker 3: taken him to the school harder than he needed to correct.
- 44:14Speaker 3: In my opinion, which is which is the Joe? If
- 44:17Speaker 3: a boy kissed Holly and she felt really upset about it.
- 44:20Speaker 3: The reason I feel this way right is because they
- 44:22Speaker 3: make you the view aware that Nicky didn't mind. If
- 44:25Speaker 3: Nicki was actually upset by it, well, then yes, they
- 44:28Speaker 3: undercut it by having Nicki going, well, really I didn't care.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Well cut, Yeah, we're going to talk about it in
- 44:33Speaker 4: just a minute or so. When I think she's in
- 44:35Speaker 4: the lock and she kissed, she's hanging out in the locker,
- 44:37Speaker 4: kisses him and then says, look, who's all confused? It's
- 44:39Speaker 4: like I think I've written any of what the fuck?
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 44:43Speaker 4: I mean, really undermining the issue. You have undermined your
- 44:46Speaker 4: own argument, exactly right.
- 44:47Speaker 3: But now I thinks that she's a psycho, but he
- 44:49Speaker 3: doesn't want to stop hanging around with her because you know, boy,
- 44:51Speaker 3: he's are boys, right, She's still a hot young lady. Yes,
- 44:55Speaker 3: Willie is raking the leaves outside and Lisa is laying
- 44:58Speaker 3: on the grass and a helicopter arrives at V eight
- 45:00Speaker 3: to sixty and which blows Lise back onto Lisa as
- 45:02Speaker 3: where Michelle Obama rocks up and she reveals that she
- 45:04Speaker 3: was floats one because she just roundly hangs out in
- 45:07Speaker 3: check grips about gardening. And she tells Lisa to not
- 45:10Speaker 3: give up because she was a success, so you should continue.
- 45:13Speaker 4: I was a high achiever, so yeah, keep being a
- 45:15Speaker 4: high achiever. Yeah, Like, I don't think the high achieving
- 45:18Speaker 4: kids really need an ego boost. They're probably doing just
- 45:21Speaker 4: fine by themselves.
- 45:22Speaker 3: And it was so weird. I just told her appearance
- 45:25Speaker 3: was just bizarre to me. It really was. And Nicky
- 45:27Speaker 3: and barter on the roof. Bart thinks he has a
- 45:29Speaker 3: girlfriend now but luck, you owe me and he apologize
- 45:31Speaker 3: and she gets angry. Stop apologizing, and I'm just like,
- 45:34Speaker 3: why she becomes cygo now if you're gonna have this
- 45:38Speaker 3: kind of story that has you know, this is Bart's girlfriend.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Yeah, a girl who's hot and cold. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 45:42Speaker 4: exactly that. Just don't tag it onto an issue that
- 45:45Speaker 4: is actually relevant and requires some degree of nuance.
- 45:49Speaker 3: If you're going to do this, at least have her
- 45:51Speaker 3: have to admit to her parents that I blew this
- 45:53Speaker 3: out of proportion. Yeah, but he bumps, his head falls
- 45:55Speaker 3: off the roof. She thinks he's dead. Oh, I love him.
- 45:58Speaker 3: He's alive. Oh he's a loser. Sure. Then Willy pokes
- 46:03Speaker 3: with a stick and trying to give him gob to gob.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Chalmers says, you ain't allowed breaching the no touching policy.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Skinner says he'd rather a dead child than be sued
- 46:10Speaker 3: by her parents, and she just skateboards over him, gives
- 46:12Speaker 3: him mouth to mouth, and we get the montage of
- 46:15Speaker 3: all the various kisses from the various films like Gone
- 46:18Speaker 3: with the Wind and what was the other ones? Godfather
- 46:20Speaker 3: Part two, Alien three I thought was funny and just
- 46:23Speaker 3: the and the I've always loved the wall a kiss
- 46:27Speaker 3: little when he does a little lightly, but it just
- 46:28Speaker 3: sort of floats away in his face. And that's what
- 46:30Speaker 3: it's like when you get your first kiss, right, true, absolutely, yes,
- 46:33Speaker 3: this is where Butt wakes up. Willy kisses Skinner and
- 46:36Speaker 3: now touching is allowed once again.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Nelson, now that the bands have been lifted, let me
- 46:41Speaker 1: touch your face. That way, I can see you with
- 46:44Speaker 1: my fingers.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Who I said, your face, not your butt.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Oh you feel comfortable enough to mock me.
- 46:52Speaker 2: That's for mocking me.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Nelson, your punch restored my vision. I can see you again.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Really, Kevin, that's wonder The student has become the master.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Nicki then monts Bart to forget all about her. She
- 47:08Speaker 3: says a few things need to learn about women, and
- 47:11Speaker 3: she won't tell them what they are, and then walks off.
- 47:13Speaker 3: She kisses come back and kisses him and he screams,
- 47:15Speaker 3: I love you. And that's the end of the episode.
- 47:16Speaker 3: That's the end of the episode. Yeah, it takes a
- 47:18Speaker 3: real weird turn at the end. It's a touchy theme.
- 47:20Speaker 3: But if you're gonna do this, you gotta really spring
- 47:22Speaker 3: field it up. Make it ridiculous, make it ridiculous. Yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 3: it should have expanded to me on the school school
- 47:27Speaker 3: because here, the way it's handled, it's like, well, you
- 47:30Speaker 3: want Nikki to be held accountable for her behavior, it's
- 47:32Speaker 3: not fair that barn is being dragged through the mud
- 47:34Speaker 3: because of all this. Bart's got to learn a lesson.
- 47:36Speaker 3: But yeah, we all need to learn a lesson. The
- 47:38Speaker 3: whole spring for needs to learn a lesson. It's like, no,
- 47:40Speaker 3: there's a difference between touching and miscommunication, right. You know,
- 47:45Speaker 3: we're not saying, go fucking go ahead and kiss somebody
- 47:47Speaker 3: because you think they like you. But it's like, don't
- 47:49Speaker 3: be pepular, pure and and sure make sure that the
- 47:52Speaker 3: consent is there. Just going from because someone kiss someone unannounced,
- 47:55Speaker 3: we can't touch anybody anymore. I loved your idea of
- 47:58Speaker 3: snake getting away because you can't touch it. That that
- 48:01Speaker 3: just feels like Golden age Simpsons, doesn't it? It does
- 48:03Speaker 3: we wys I like to be able to stop it.
- 48:04Speaker 4: I remember that las A lat Yeah, there's.
- 48:08Speaker 3: So many funny moments you could have had with that
- 48:10Speaker 3: theme of no touching Alad in Springfield. Ah, well, we'll
- 48:13Speaker 3: always have our episode that we made in our own
- 48:15Speaker 3: hands in the Springfield subway. Correct. What do we learn?
- 48:20Speaker 3: Bomb would you learn from this episode? Mister Davis? That's
- 48:24Speaker 3: don't trust women women? All right?
- 48:30Speaker 4: He can, he can think it, but he shouldn't say
- 48:32Speaker 4: it's right.
- 48:33Speaker 3: But he shouldn't say it. If you are a bit.
- 48:37Speaker 4: Of a high achiever in your young years, don't feel
- 48:41Speaker 4: bad about it, because you too could one day be
- 48:43Speaker 4: first Lady of the United.
- 48:44Speaker 3: States, you might be hired to voice the first lady
- 48:46Speaker 3: in the United States. So yeah, that's what.
- 48:50Speaker 4: I learned from this episode. If there was anything.
- 48:52Speaker 3: From this day forward, your name will be It's time

- 49:11Speaker 3: Take it away. One point goes to a nikky situation.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Rachel game with some points. Yeah clu leader board, Rachel r.
- 49:19Speaker 4: She is now on five points, got like three points
- 49:22Speaker 4: in the previous Yeah wow yeah doing well two points.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Two points goes to American Kiss story X and you smell.
- 49:29Speaker 3: That ex American Kiss thory X goes to Heath applebe

- 49:45Speaker 3: Oh not bad to play on? What did it all for?
- 49:48Speaker 4: The Niokie by Olpal's limb Biscuit, Limb Biscuit.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Do you reckon they still like tour? Do you think
- 49:53Speaker 3: they have like the hardcore fan base of guys who
- 49:55Speaker 3: are like, you know, in their mid forties late thirties,
- 49:57Speaker 3: are just like reliving there would stop ninety nine days,
- 50:00Speaker 3: Possibly we might break.
- 50:03Speaker 4: We're either on the verge of its happening that.
- 50:14Speaker 3: It's not it's not it's that roll and roll ow.
- 50:19Speaker 4: That's either happening now and we don't know a lot
- 50:21Speaker 4: about it, or it's on the verge of happening because
- 50:24Speaker 4: Fred Durst and the crew are like Stuffer come back.
- 50:27Speaker 3: You know, he really had a look, didn't he, with
- 50:28Speaker 3: the red hat and the jerseys. Oh yeah, and the
- 50:31Speaker 3: little sort of people go there. Yeah. But we were
- 50:34Speaker 3: talking the other day, was it about Sugar Ray playing
- 50:37Speaker 3: at some I know, if we were talking about it,
- 50:39Speaker 3: you might have been talking about something else. But I
- 50:41Speaker 3: did see that he was playing the park and people
- 50:44Speaker 3: were mocking him for it, and everyone's like, it's a
- 50:45Speaker 3: steady gig, motherfucker.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:47Speaker 3: I think it looks like he's having a good time.
- 50:49Speaker 4: I said that guy's got a few money from fly
- 50:52Speaker 4: and Sunday morning and every morning, every morning, every morning. Yeah,
- 50:57Speaker 4: I mean they probably sold that to commercials all the
- 50:59Speaker 4: time for that rift. He's making music with his buddies,
- 51:05Speaker 4: I mean Scooby Doo the movie. Oh yeah, I'd say
- 51:08Speaker 4: he actually sort of won ad Live. I wouldn't be
- 51:11Speaker 4: mocking Mark mcgrae or Sugar Ray for that, nor would
- 51:13Speaker 4: I mock Fred Durst, not to his face. But anyway,
- 51:16Speaker 4: did it all for the Nicky's played it all on?
- 51:18Speaker 4: Did it all for the nookie?
- 51:19Speaker 3: And three points? Speaking of more, speaking of new names
- 51:21Speaker 3: on this leader board, that is Philip J. Hawkins. I
- 51:26Speaker 3: see what you did that? Yes, so he has now
- 51:28Speaker 3: double second position. Philip J. Hawkens is now twenty two points.
- 51:32Speaker 3: It's gonna be hard to catch him. Oh my god,
- 51:34Speaker 3: he's lapping folks. Clever Kyle, He's very intelligent Kyle, so
- 51:38Speaker 3: I feel like he may have a chance to catch up.
- 51:39Speaker 3: And Briggsy Nathan mcbriggs he's on eleven points as well.
- 51:42Speaker 3: And Mike Saltz is still in third position on nine points.
- 51:44Speaker 3: But while well done, Philip Jay Hawkins twenty two points.
