- 0:04Speaker 1: You took my son's life, your life should be taken.
- 0:08Speaker 1: She's not sorry. She's sorry she got caught. That's the
- 0:12Speaker 1: only thing she's sorry for.
- 0:15Speaker 2: 15-year-old Seth Jackson was beaten, shot, and burned at a
- 0:19Speaker 2: Summerfield home Sunday.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I hope they get the electric chair and they burn.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Burn!
- 0:34Speaker 5: And we can all sit and watch them like they
- 0:37Speaker 5: did to him.
- 0:43Speaker 6: She's manipulative.
- 0:44Speaker 7: She's diabolical. She's the most dangerous 15-year-old I've ever encountered.
- 0:50Speaker 7: You have to catch her and you have to prove
- 0:52Speaker 7: that she's lying for her to fall apart and then
- 0:55Speaker 7: want to talk to you about it.
- 0:56Speaker 8: Every blow and every bullet that was shot in Descent's
- 1:00Speaker 8: body is on her.
- 1:04Speaker 6: It's you that lured him to this horrific death. There'll
- 1:09Speaker 6: be people watching this thinking, she must be evil, this girl.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I'm not evil. I'm not. I'm not.
- 1:30Speaker 9: Breaking news in Marion County this morning, where six people
- 1:32Speaker 9: have been arrested in connection to a murder last weekend.
- 1:35Speaker 9: Those six are accused of luring 15-year-old Seth Jackson to
- 1:39Speaker 9: a home in Summerfield and beating and then shooting him.
- 1:42Speaker 9: Police reports say the suspects talked about how much they
- 1:44Speaker 9: hated the victim, which led to the alleged murder plot.
- 1:50Speaker 6: In April 2011, 15-year-old Seth Jackson came to this trailer
- 1:55Speaker 6: to meet his ex-girlfriend, Amber Wright.
- 2:00Speaker 5: It's a very quiet neighborhood for the most part.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Detective Rhonda Stroop led the investigation into Seth's brutal murder.
- 2:08Speaker 7: The only thing that was here at the time of
- 2:11Speaker 7: the incident was that double-wide trailer and that little shed
- 2:15Speaker 7: out back.
- 2:17Speaker 6: At the time, the rundown trailer was used as a
- 2:19Speaker 6: hangout for local teenagers. Tell me exactly what happened in
- 2:24Speaker 6: that trailer.
- 2:25Speaker 7: This kid gets beat, he gets shot, He runs outside,
- 2:31Speaker 7: trying to get away from them. They wrestle him back
- 2:34Speaker 7: into the house. Can you imagine his thoughts at that time?
- 2:38Speaker 7: They wrestle him back and they shoot him again. They
- 2:41Speaker 7: put him in the bathroom. They try to break his
- 2:44Speaker 7: kneecaps so that they can fold him into a sleeping bag.
- 2:49Speaker 7: After they did all that to this child, they took
- 2:51Speaker 7: him out back and they burnt his body.
- 2:55Speaker 6: I mean, it's an unspeakable litany of... Horrific detail. This
- 3:01Speaker 6: is a 15-year-old boy. Absolutely.
- 3:03Speaker 4: It was premeditated.
- 3:05Speaker 6: In relation to Amber, she was only 15, but she
- 3:11Speaker 6: did mastermind this, right? I mean, that's your firm belief.
- 3:14Speaker 4: That's my opinion, yes.
- 3:16Speaker 7: I just cannot fathom that at 15 years old that
- 3:20Speaker 7: you can be that diabolical and that upset with someone,
- 3:24Speaker 7: mad at someone, that you can plan a murder quite
- 3:28Speaker 7: in this fashion.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Amber is now 20 and serving a life sentence. She'll
- 3:37Speaker 6: likely never be released. I'd been granted one hour to
- 3:43Speaker 6: interview her. She is one of America's youngest killers, but
- 3:51Speaker 6: Amber's always denied being the mastermind behind the murder.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Hi, Amber.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Good to meet you. You too. Come and sit down. Amber,
- 4:00Speaker 6: when I meet you, I guess I'm expecting from everything
- 4:02Speaker 6: I've read to meet some kind of monster, but as
- 4:06Speaker 6: is so often the case, I don't see a monster.
- 4:09Speaker 6: When you see that headline about you, how do you feel?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Kind of hurts, because I know deep down I'm not
- 4:16Speaker 3: a monster. I mean, I made bad mistakes, I made decisions,
- 4:19Speaker 3: but the way everything is portrayed, I mean, it's horrible.
- 4:24Speaker 3: So I guess I can be placed in that category.
- 4:27Speaker 3: But it hurts that people don't know who I am,
- 4:30Speaker 3: that that's what they look at me.
- 4:31Speaker 6: You see, Amber, it's extraordinary to me to meet somebody
- 4:35Speaker 6: like you who had your whole life ahead of you.
- 4:39Speaker 6: And yet you have not just allowed this to happen,
- 4:43Speaker 6: you've been a key part of it. It's you that
- 4:45Speaker 6: lured him to this horrific death. There'll be people watching
- 4:50Speaker 6: this thinking, she must be evil, this girl.
- 4:55Speaker 3: What happened.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I've said it for many years, it doesn't define who
- 4:59Speaker 3: I am. It was one thing I took a part
- 5:03Speaker 3: of and it was the worst thing that's ever happened
- 5:04Speaker 3: in my life. But honestly, that one day, that one,
- 5:09Speaker 3: one very serious, very traumatic, very horrific event is the person,
- 5:16Speaker 3: changes the person I am. I no longer look at
- 5:20Speaker 3: people with hatred and envy and Unforgiveness, I don't do
- 5:31Speaker 3: that anymore. I'm not evil. I'm not.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Amber's accomplices on the night of the murder included her brother,
- 5:53Speaker 6: Kyle Hooper, Michael Bargo, who investigators believed was Amber's new boyfriend,
- 6:02Speaker 6: and Charlie Ely, who rented the trailer. Seth Jackson was
- 6:11Speaker 6: at first reported missing on a local news bulletin, but
- 6:14Speaker 6: Amber's brother Kyle was watching at home and told his
- 6:18Speaker 6: mother he had witnessed Seth being killed. She called the police,
- 6:24Speaker 6: but at this point she had no idea... Her two
- 6:27Speaker 6: children had actually taken part in the murder.
- 6:30Speaker 11: My name's Rhonda. And you must be Kyle.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 6:38Speaker 7: Tell me the story that you told your mom and
- 6:40Speaker 7: start from the beginning, okay?
- 6:41Speaker 11: Okay.
- 6:42Speaker 12: Seth wanted to talk to my sister. They come in
- 6:45Speaker 12: the house, and I don't like the kid completely because
- 6:48Speaker 12: he has put his hands on my sister.
- 6:49Speaker 7: Okay.
- 6:50Speaker 6: Okay?
- 6:51Speaker 11: And I hit him over the head with a stick.
- 6:53Speaker 11: Who'd you hit?
- 6:54Speaker 9: Seth.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Okay. And.
- 6:56Speaker 12: It was in the chair and I got in the
- 6:58Speaker 12: kitchen and I said, now get the fuck out the house.
- 7:00Speaker 12: And then all of a sudden I hear, bam, bam, bam,
- 7:04Speaker 12: Mike sitting there laying bullets into him.
- 7:07Speaker 11: So you saw Mike Vargo shoot Seth?
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Waiting to be interviewed was Amber. In her first version
- 7:18Speaker 6: of the night's events, she would claim to have been
- 7:22Speaker 6: an innocent bystander.
- 7:25Speaker 7: Do you want to have mom in here while you
- 7:27Speaker 7: talk to me about it?
- 7:28Speaker 4: That's okay with you?
- 7:29Speaker 11: Okay. Okay, Seth comes to the house.
- 7:33Speaker 10: Seth knocked on the door and Charlie answered it. And
- 7:35Speaker 10: she was like, well, what do you want? And he
- 7:37Speaker 10: was like, I just need to talk to Amber.
- 7:38Speaker 11: Can I come in? She let him in.
- 7:40Speaker 10: He sits in the chair. Me and her are sitting
- 7:42Speaker 10: by each other on the couch. And out of nowhere,
- 7:44Speaker 10: Kyle just gets up and hits him.
- 7:47Speaker 11: I looked at Charlie.
- 7:48Speaker 13: I was like, run. We ran to her room.
- 7:50Speaker 11: I went in her bathroom and shut the door.
- 7:52Speaker 10: And we heard another door just fly open, and we
- 7:54Speaker 10: just heard gunshot after gunshot after gunshot.
- 7:57Speaker 11: So when did you guys finally come out of the room?
- 7:59Speaker 11: The next morning.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Okay, about what time?
- 8:02Speaker 11: We didn't wake up until maybe 11, 12 o'clock. Was
- 8:04Speaker 11: anything different? It just smelled like pure bleach in the house.
- 8:10Speaker 3: That's it.
- 8:11Speaker 11: Like they tried to clean something up.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'll be right back, okay?
- 8:22Speaker 3: I gotta go home.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Give me a sec.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Mother's love is unconditional. No matter what your children do,
- 8:34Speaker 5: it's unconditional. That's your job. That job doesn't end. It
- 8:39Speaker 5: never ends, you know? I brought them in this world.
- 8:42Speaker 5: I gotta make sure I see them through it.
- 8:45Speaker 6: This was a very brutal and bloody execution of a
- 8:50Speaker 6: young boy. When you think back to what went on
- 8:53Speaker 6: in that trailer that afternoon, what do you feel?
- 8:55Speaker 3: Honestly, empty. There's a part of me that... It's terrifying. It's...
- 9:10Speaker 3: It's scary to actually think that something like that happened.
- 9:15Speaker 6: You personally helped prepare the body to put in the
- 9:18Speaker 6: bag to be burned and then disposed of.
- 9:26Speaker 3: After he died and I cleaned up, I was no
- 9:32Speaker 3: longer partaking in anything. So after that, it's like he disappeared.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I didn't know what was going on. Yeah, I knew
- 9:41Speaker 3: his body was burned, but I found out how he
- 9:42Speaker 3: was disposed of, sitting in an interrogation room.
- 9:47Speaker 6: But you knew that he was gonna be burned because
- 9:50Speaker 6: you were heard talking about lighting the fire. And you
- 9:53Speaker 6: knew once he was burned, they were gonna put his
- 9:55Speaker 6: remains into these barrels, pots, take him off. and dispose
- 10:01Speaker 6: of what was left. You knew that.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Yes, I knew there was gonna be a fire. I
- 10:05Speaker 3: knew he was going to be burned. I didn't know
- 10:11Speaker 3: they were gonna drop him over a cliff.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Amber's claim that she'd just gone to bed and slept
- 10:20Speaker 6: through to midday after hearing multiple gunshots didn't ring true
- 10:24Speaker 6: to police.
- 10:25Speaker 11: I'm sorry, buddy. Do you mind if I talk to
- 10:29Speaker 11: her again?
- 10:30Speaker 6: She's manipulative.
- 10:32Speaker 7: You have to catch her, and you have to prove
- 10:34Speaker 7: that she's lying for her to fall apart and then
- 10:37Speaker 7: want to talk to you about it.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Okay, so this right here and right.
- 10:43Speaker 11: Now, Amber, is where the rubber hits the road, okay?
- 10:47Speaker 6: Your brother told me everything.
- 10:49Speaker 8: Okay.
- 10:50Speaker 7: So you can sit there and you can continue to
- 10:52Speaker 7: lie and I'm going to walk out and treat you
- 10:54Speaker 7: like a piece of garbage.
- 10:55Speaker 14: Okay.
- 10:56Speaker 11: Or you can sit here and treat me with the
- 10:57Speaker 11: respect that I treated you with.
- 10:59Speaker 6: Okay? And you can tell me the truth.
- 11:01Speaker 11: Yes, ma'am. What's your choice going to be?
- 11:03Speaker 13: I'm going to tell you the truth.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Okay.
- 11:05Speaker 13: So let's start at the beginning again.
- 11:07Speaker 11: And you tell me the story.
- 11:08Speaker 13: And the first time.
- 11:09Speaker 7: That I think you're lying, I'm getting up and walking
- 11:11Speaker 7: out of here and I don't care what happens to you.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Do you understand me?
- 11:14Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 11:15Speaker 7: Okay. Okay.
- 11:16Speaker 11: Michael was just saying, well, you should call Seth and.
- 11:19Speaker 6: All this stuff. And I was like, okay.
- 11:23Speaker 11: And why would he want you to call Seth?
- 11:25Speaker 10: Because he doesn't like him. And he told me he
- 11:27Speaker 10: wanted to, like, fight him.
- 11:30Speaker 4: No, that's not what he told you.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I'm telling you right now.
- 11:33Speaker 11: I'm going to get up and walk out of here.
- 11:34Speaker 11: This is your last chance.
- 11:35Speaker 15: Okay.
- 11:36Speaker 11: I'm not playing with you, little girl.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Do you understand me?
- 11:38Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am. Okay.
- 11:39Speaker 13: I'm done with being lied to today.
- 11:41Speaker 7: Okay.
- 11:41Speaker 6: Okay.
- 11:42Speaker 11: So let's start again. We're going to start fresh. And
- 11:49Speaker 11: me and Charlie stayed in the room. Where's Seth's body now?
- 11:55Speaker 11: They wouldn't let me see it. They told me, Mike
- 11:58Speaker 11: told me that.
- 12:00Speaker 10: He called that he was going to take it to
- 12:02Speaker 10: the quarry.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Lead detectives tell West 2 News they believe they know
- 12:07Speaker 2: where the murder weapon has been hidden, but right now
- 12:09Speaker 2: they are not telling us whether it has been found.
- 12:11Speaker 7: Right now, local detectives are piecing together the final brutal
- 12:14Speaker 7: moments of Seth Jackson's life.
- 12:16Speaker 2: The local teen was beaten, shot, mutilated, burned into ashes,
- 12:20Speaker 2: and has remained sunk to the bottom of a local quarry.
- 12:26Speaker 15: Once they had cremated Seth's body, they've shoveled up the
- 12:30Speaker 15: remains from the fire. They placed his remains into these
- 12:34Speaker 15: five-gallon buckets and walked to the lime pit, where they
- 12:37Speaker 15: ultimately end up throwing them over. One bucket, they tossed
- 12:41Speaker 15: it over and it broke open and some of Seth's
- 12:45Speaker 15: remains were discarded along the side of the cliff.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Just four miles from the murder scene live Seth's parents.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Sonia and Scott. Seth was the youngest of their three boys.
- 13:06Speaker 6: And Amber had been a regular visitor to their home.
- 13:15Speaker 7: Hello.
- 13:15Speaker 6: Sonia, Piers, good to see you. Hi. Thank you so
- 13:18Speaker 6: much for letting us into your home. We greatly appreciate it.
- 13:21Speaker 6: Thank you. Sonia, Scott, let me go right back to...
- 13:31Speaker 6: The moment when you discovered that Seth had a new
- 13:34Speaker 6: girlfriend and her name was Amber.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Just another girlfriend. You know, he had a lot of them.
- 13:42Speaker 1: It seemed like he had one every few weeks. You know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: we didn't think anything of it. You know, just another girl.
- 13:49Speaker 1: He's a good looking boy.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Amber came around here regularly over a three month period.
- 13:54Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 6: She had dinner with you guys. What was your impression
- 13:58Speaker 6: of her as a young 15 year old girl?
- 14:01Speaker 4: A typical teenager at first. After a couple of months
- 14:06Speaker 4: of her hanging out here, you know, during the day
- 14:10Speaker 4: and watching them on the couch together or, you know,
- 14:14Speaker 4: in the backyard playing basketball, I started seeing more of
- 14:18Speaker 4: a manipulative side to her.
- 14:21Speaker 6: But were you seriously worried or did she just seem like,
- 14:26Speaker 6: any other 15-year-old teenage girl, albeit a little bit manipulative,
- 14:30Speaker 6: but that's not completely unusual.
- 14:33Speaker 4: They were typical teenagers.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It was nothing special about it that would set a
- 14:38Speaker 1: person off to think anything like that.
- 14:41Speaker 6: When I found out about this story, and having met
- 14:44Speaker 6: her and interviewed her, it's just inexplicable to me how
- 14:50Speaker 6: somebody like that could then get involved in what she
- 14:54Speaker 6: got involved with. with your son have you been able
- 14:59Speaker 6: to rationalize it at.
- 15:00Speaker 4: All it's unfathomable for people kids for kids to come
- 15:06Speaker 4: up with this stuff and then to carry it all
- 15:09Speaker 4: out it's it's still today i think did this really
- 15:15Speaker 4: happen well yeah of course it did my son's gone.
- 15:20Speaker 7: Right now, local detectives are piecing together the final brutal
- 15:23Speaker 7: moments of Seth Jackson's life.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Investigators say he was lured to the home by former girlfriend,
- 15:28Speaker 2: ninth grader Amber Wright, then attacked, shot, and burned.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Seth Jackson's relationship with Amber Wright cost him his life.
- 15:46Speaker 6: But in the six years since, she has never explained why.
- 15:53Speaker 6: You're 15 and you meet a guy called Seth. What
- 15:58Speaker 6: was your first reaction when you met Seth? What kind
- 16:00Speaker 6: of guy did you think he was?
- 16:01Speaker 3: He was like, I guess at that time, I thought
- 16:03Speaker 3: he was like, oh, he's so cool. Me and him
- 16:06Speaker 3: got really close off rip. Like obviously there was a
- 16:09Speaker 3: flirtatious between us and we had that connection. Like we
- 16:12Speaker 3: were young, everything was fun and games. And so we
- 16:16Speaker 3: really started going hard with each other. And then he
- 16:19Speaker 3: was in drugs and I was doing drugs. And then
- 16:21Speaker 3: both of us, our real characters came out.
- 16:23Speaker 6: And what kind of drugs were you doing?
- 16:25Speaker 3: We were smoking marijuana and dabbling in cocaine.
- 16:29Speaker 6: Where is your mother in all this? Does she know
- 16:31Speaker 6: you're doing this?
- 16:32Speaker 3: She suspects I'm doing it, but of course I lie
- 16:35Speaker 3: to her and try to reassure her. No, ma'am, I'm not.
- 16:38Speaker 3: You're crazy.
- 16:39Speaker 6: You and Seth, I mean, it seems to have very
- 16:41Speaker 6: quickly become quite a serious relationship, but also a very
- 16:44Speaker 6: volatile relationship.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Why?
- 16:47Speaker 3: I guess because we were just, Spending too much time
- 16:52Speaker 3: together was too much alike. And being young, we both
- 16:55Speaker 3: were in this competition to make each other mad all
- 16:58Speaker 3: the time, make each other jealous all the time. And
- 17:02Speaker 3: we were just so involved with everything else and all
- 17:04Speaker 3: the people around us. And, like, really our relationship wasn't
- 17:06Speaker 3: a relationship. It was young teenagers having sex and doing drugs.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Teenagers do this kind of thing. You know, they drink
- 17:16Speaker 6: too much. Some of them take drugs. They have sex
- 17:20Speaker 6: when they shouldn't be with people they shouldn't be having
- 17:22Speaker 6: sex with. But it doesn't end in murder. Why did
- 17:27Speaker 6: Seth have to die?
- 17:28Speaker 3: I don't know. There was no reason. I don't have
- 17:41Speaker 3: a reason. I just went along.
- 17:46Speaker 14: Seth Jackson had been dating Amber Wright, and they had
- 17:49Speaker 14: had a bad breakup. And there was a lot of
- 17:52Speaker 14: back and forth on social media, name calling, threats being
- 17:57Speaker 14: made between the two. And then Amber Wright started dating
- 18:00Speaker 14: Michael Bargo. One night, they were all at Charlie Ealy's house,
- 18:06Speaker 14: and Michael Bargo started talking about, we need to kill
- 18:10Speaker 14: Seth Jackson. Nobody likes him. We need to kill him.
- 18:13Speaker 14: From that point on, they made a plan. They all agreed.
- 18:16Speaker 13: That they would kill Seth Jackson.
- 18:18Speaker 14: Amber would lure him to Charlie's house and they would
- 18:22Speaker 14: shoot him and torture him. I can't imagine what was
- 18:27Speaker 14: going through Seth's mind when he almost escaped. He was
- 18:30Speaker 14: in the house, he was shot once, but he got
- 18:32Speaker 14: out and he made it almost to the road when
- 18:35Speaker 14: he was shot again and then brought back into the house.
- 18:38Speaker 14: He was then put into a bathtub where he was
- 18:40Speaker 14: shot Michael Bargo needed to break his kneecaps because they
- 18:44Speaker 14: wanted to fit him into a sleeping bag that they
- 18:46Speaker 14: had laid out. So his kneecaps were broken, his teeth
- 18:49Speaker 14: were pulled out with pliers. They burned the body, and
- 18:53Speaker 14: to me, what made it atrocious is that they sat
- 18:56Speaker 14: out there and basically treated it as if a bonfire
- 18:59Speaker 14: was a party. All of them sat outside all night long, drinking, talking, laughing,
- 19:05Speaker 14: while Seth's body was burning. And without Amber Wright's participation
- 19:10Speaker 14: in the crime, Seth Jackson never would have come to
- 19:13Speaker 14: that house.
- 19:20Speaker 6: What was the moment when you knew that he was dead?
- 19:24Speaker 6: How did you find out that awful news? I knew.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I knew something was horribly wrong because Seth would have
- 19:31Speaker 4: come home or contacted us or something by now. I
- 19:34Speaker 4: don't care if that boy had to stop and use
- 19:36Speaker 4: a payphone. He would have called me. He always kept
- 19:42Speaker 4: in touch. He would have called me. I knew in
- 19:46Speaker 4: my heart, I knew that Seth was gone I just
- 19:52Speaker 4: didn't know where or how.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Scott how do you assess father and I have a
- 19:59Speaker 6: 15 year old son how do you even start to
- 20:05Speaker 6: deal with the details of what they did to your
- 20:09Speaker 6: boy Because it's that part of this which I find,
- 20:14Speaker 6: as a father myself, so utterly obscene. The complete disregard
- 20:19Speaker 6: for him on any human level. How do you deal
- 20:22Speaker 6: with that?
- 20:23Speaker 1: I push the feelings down. Because how I want to
- 20:28Speaker 1: deal with it, society says that's a no-no. But I'm
- 20:33Speaker 1: pretty good at pushing my feelings down. I haven't went
- 20:36Speaker 1: off on nobody in almost six years now, so I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: doing pretty damn good. I haven't gotten locked up. I'm
- 20:42Speaker 1: doing really good dealing with it. That's the only way
- 20:45Speaker 1: I can deal with it. Because I don't know how.
- 20:48Speaker 1: How can you deal with it if something like that happened?
- 20:51Speaker 14: I don't know.
- 20:52Speaker 4: I can't answer that.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Question to you.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I just can't.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I push them down and that's where they stay. I
- 21:02Speaker 1: feel sorry for the SOB that brings them to the
- 21:03Speaker 1: surface again. Because I don't know how much longer I
- 21:07Speaker 1: can do it. And counselling don't help. Been there, done that.
- 21:13Speaker 6: It don't help. Two days after Seth was killed, all
- 21:23Speaker 6: the suspects had been arrested, apart from Michael Bargo, who'd
- 21:27Speaker 6: gone on the run. The others were quick to blame
- 21:32Speaker 6: him for the murder.
- 21:35Speaker 11: I had to. They knew we were lying.
- 21:39Speaker 6: You pulled in all these kids, you put them into
- 21:43Speaker 6: one of the rooms here. In a separate room, you're
- 21:46Speaker 6: watching on CCTV. Correct. What did you make of Amber's
- 21:51Speaker 6: performance interacting with the others?
- 21:54Speaker 4: Exactly, a performance.
- 21:57Speaker 11: You know how many people are going to fucking hate
- 21:58Speaker 11: us for this? People that don't even know us are
- 22:01Speaker 11: going to be looking for us if we get out
- 22:02Speaker 11: of this.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Why?
- 22:04Speaker 11: There's a fucking 15-year-old kid murdered. Because of us. You
- 22:12Speaker 11: honestly think people want to be around that? You think
- 22:15Speaker 11: people think those kind of people are supposed to be here? Yeah,
- 22:20Speaker 11: but it's not our fault. Hell, I don't even like
- 22:23Speaker 11: them fucking kind of people. And I'm one of them now.
- 22:25Speaker 11: And I didn't even do anything.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't want none of.
- 22:32Speaker 11: This to happen. We just got stupid and fell into
- 22:36Speaker 11: Mike's trap. Like always. Like always. Like always, because he
- 22:42Speaker 11: knows he can talk me into anything. He knows he can.
- 22:46Speaker 10: How do you tell somebody you love them and you'd
- 22:49Speaker 10: never leave them or hurt them, and then you do this?
- 22:53Speaker 10: And then on top of that, you say, if you
- 22:55Speaker 10: tell anyone I'm going to kill you too.
- 22:57Speaker 11: This would have never happened if it wasn't for Mike.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Amber's whole strategy, it seems from these tapes, is to
- 23:07Speaker 6: blame everybody else. You know, Mike got me into this.
- 23:11Speaker 6: He's always controlling me. He's always manipulating me. Look what
- 23:15Speaker 6: he's done now. Do you buy any of that as
- 23:19Speaker 6: a defense?
- 23:20Speaker 3: No, I don't buy a word of it.
- 23:21Speaker 7: I mean, I believe that she's manipulative. I believe she's diabolical.
- 23:24Speaker 7: I believe that she really orchestrated a lot of this.
- 23:36Speaker 6: The plan is concocted to kill Seth. Who is the
- 23:40Speaker 6: first person to suggest that?
- 23:44Speaker 3: Michael.
- 23:47Speaker 6: And how does he suggest it to you?
- 23:53Speaker 3: He just didn't straight come out and say anything about Seth.
- 23:59Speaker 3: But he came out talking crazy. Like, we were all
- 24:03Speaker 3: standing there outside and He just came out and was
- 24:06Speaker 3: talking about, you know, he has his gun, and he
- 24:10Speaker 3: was talking about how much heat it would take for
- 24:14Speaker 3: bones to deteriorate and everything. We were all looking at
- 24:17Speaker 3: him like, what are you talking about? And then that's
- 24:20Speaker 3: whenever he looks at my brother, and he just starts, like, saying, like,
- 24:26Speaker 3: he wants Seth dead. And we're all kind of, like,
- 24:29Speaker 3: think he's playing around at first, like, really? Like, are
- 24:33Speaker 3: you crazy? And then he looks at me and Charlie
- 24:35Speaker 3: and he told me, he's like, you're going to get
- 24:38Speaker 3: him here. And I was just like, I was hesitant.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I was and I was telling him no. So in
- 24:45Speaker 3: the beginning I was telling him no, like I'm not
- 24:47Speaker 3: doing that. You're crazy. And then it came to he
- 24:50Speaker 3: was dead serious. Like he was serious.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Why did you not try and stop him?
- 24:57Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if
- 25:10Speaker 3: I even wanted to.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I think she's wicked and evil.
- 25:25Speaker 7: What other way can you explain somebody that would set
- 25:29Speaker 7: something in motion of this magnitude that would end up
- 25:33Speaker 7: with a 15-year-old boy shot, beat, burned, put in five-gallon
- 25:39Speaker 7: buckets and thrown off into a rock quarry.
- 25:42Speaker 4: What would you say?
- 25:45Speaker 11: You're all going to be booked with first-degree premeditated murder.
- 25:49Speaker 11: You two will go to the juvenile assessment center. You
- 25:52Speaker 11: will go to the Marion County Jail.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Okay?
- 25:56Speaker 11: Take a deep breath. You'll have no bond. You won't
- 25:58Speaker 11: be getting out.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Even when you march in and tell them you're being
- 26:04Speaker 6: booked first-degree murder... This is a very serious crime.
- 26:07Speaker 11: I don't think it gets much.
- 26:08Speaker 4: More serious than this.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Amber in particular feels like it's a kind of annoying day,
- 26:12Speaker 6: you know, and she might get.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Exactly, still thinks she's going home at some point.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 26:17Speaker 13: She doesn't seem to realize.
- 26:25Speaker 11: The enormity of.
- 26:27Speaker 13: What has happened here.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 26:36Speaker 7: I don't think the magnitude hit her until much later.
- 26:50Speaker 2: The young brother and sister accused of killing an Ocala
- 26:52Speaker 2: teen have been indicted as adults. 15-year-old Amber Wright and
- 26:56Speaker 2: 16-year-old Kyle Hooper are charged with the murder of Wright's ex-boyfriend,
- 27:00Speaker 2: 15-year-old Seth Jackson.
- 27:01Speaker 14: We made the decision to try them as adults. based
- 27:04Speaker 14: on the heinous nature of how he was tortured and
- 27:07Speaker 14: burned and the fact that they were involved in the
- 27:10Speaker 14: planning of the murder from the beginning. And that's one
- 27:13Speaker 14: of the reasons why we did not make any plea offers.
- 27:16Speaker 14: From the beginning, we said, these people either deserve the
- 27:19Speaker 14: death penalty or life in prison, and we won't make
- 27:22Speaker 14: any plea deals because of the facts of this case
- 27:24Speaker 14: and how horrible it was.
- 27:25Speaker 6: And we didn't. Amber was too young to face the
- 27:30Speaker 6: death penalty. that Michael Bargo was eligible if found guilty.
- 27:39Speaker 6: Detectives tracked him down, hiding out 80 miles away at
- 27:43Speaker 6: a friend's house.
- 27:46Speaker 13: I think you know why I'm here to talk to you.
- 27:50Speaker 6: You just said.
- 27:57Speaker 13: You want to talk to a lawyer? Did you want
- 27:58Speaker 13: to talk to a lawyer or do you want to
- 27:59Speaker 13: talk to me? I want to clarify that first.
- 28:01Speaker 10: I want to talk to a lawyer.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 28:03Speaker 15: He had nothing to say. He appeared to have this
- 28:05Speaker 15: cold heart as if he had just crumbled up a
- 28:10Speaker 15: piece of paper and thrown it in the trash can
- 28:12Speaker 15: with no feelings at all.
- 28:15Speaker 10: What the hell is going on?
- 28:17Speaker 15: I think you clearly know I can't talk to you
- 28:18Speaker 15: about anything.
- 28:19Speaker 13: You've already requested your attorney. You lost that opportunity to.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Talk to me.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Trying to understand why Seth was killed seems to come
- 28:28Speaker 6: down to this question. Is Amber Wright a cold, calculating
- 28:33Speaker 6: murderer who manipulated Michael Bargo and the others into killing Seth?
- 28:40Speaker 6: Or was she caught in the romantic thrall of a
- 28:43Speaker 6: volatile and controlling new boyfriend?
- 28:45Speaker 8: 18-year-old Michael Bargo stood before a Marion County judge today.
- 28:51Speaker 9: Investigators say he is the alleged shooter and mastermind behind
- 28:54Speaker 9: the murder plot.
- 28:56Speaker 13: Mr.
- 28:56Speaker 8: Vargo, you're charged with first degree murder.
- 28:58Speaker 3: This is a capital offense.
- 29:03Speaker 6: Were you in love with Michael?
- 29:09Speaker 14: No.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I can tell you I wasn't in love with Michael.
- 29:11Speaker 3: I was under his control. I let him control me.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It wasn't love.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Did you think that if you got rid of Seth,
- 29:26Speaker 6: you and Michael could have a relationship without that huge
- 29:30Speaker 6: problem all the time in the background? No. No. Michael
- 29:39Speaker 6: Bargo has always denied that he and Amber were anything
- 29:42Speaker 6: more than just good friends.
- 29:46Speaker 13: You were sleeping with Amber and dating her at the time.
- 29:48Speaker 3: No, I wasn't.
- 29:50Speaker 13: You do have her initials tattooed right in your groin area.
- 29:53Speaker 13: I haven't on my thigh.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Overruled.
- 29:57Speaker 11: I haven't on my thigh.
- 29:59Speaker 7: I do.
- 30:00Speaker 13: Do you tattoo a lot of girls' names that you're
- 30:01Speaker 13: friends with all over your thighs?
- 30:03Speaker 11: No.
- 30:04Speaker 13: How about this?
- 30:05Speaker 14: She has your initials tattooed on her private area too,
- 30:08Speaker 14: doesn't she?
- 30:08Speaker 10: Not in her private area.
- 30:09Speaker 11: It's below her belt line, but yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 7: Okay.
- 30:12Speaker 13: Well, some people may say that's your private area.
- 30:14Speaker 3: You don't.
- 30:14Speaker 4: That's fine.
- 30:15Speaker 14: Right here.
- 30:16Speaker 11: Yes, ma'am.
- 30:17Speaker 10: Okay.
- 30:17Speaker 13: Did you do that yourself?
- 30:18Speaker 5: I did.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 30:19Speaker 13: So you tattooed your initials right here on Amber Wright?
- 30:23Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 30:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:24Speaker 13: But you weren't in love with her or sleeping with her?
- 30:27Speaker 5: No.
- 30:28Speaker 6: In fact.
- 30:29Speaker 13: Isn't it true that Seth broke up with Amber because
- 30:33Speaker 13: Seth found out that you two had slept together? Not
- 30:38Speaker 13: to my understanding.
- 30:40Speaker 6: You and Michael had matching tattoos. Yeah. What is the tattoo?
- 30:45Speaker 3: His initials.
- 30:48Speaker 6: Why, if he didn't really mean anything to you, why
- 30:51Speaker 6: would you have a tattoo with his initials on you?
- 30:54Speaker 3: Just because I thought it was cool. Make him happy.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Felt good being one.
- 31:03Speaker 6: There seems to be some doubt as to whether you
- 31:06Speaker 6: and Mike had a sexual relationship. What's the truth?
- 31:12Speaker 3: Me and Michael did not have a relationship. Yes, we
- 31:15Speaker 3: did have sex a couple times. And I think that
- 31:19Speaker 3: was more on my part, trying to aggravate and hurt Seth.
- 31:28Speaker 6: So you were deliberately having sex with a guy that
- 31:30Speaker 6: you knew he hated just to aggravate him?
- 31:35Speaker 3: I mean, yeah. It wasn't really me trying to inflame anything,
- 31:39Speaker 3: but I was trying to hurt him. I was hurt.
- 31:42Speaker 3: I was trying to hurt him.
- 31:43Speaker 6: You know, you say you weren't trying to inflame anything,
- 31:46Speaker 6: but that's exactly what you were doing. I mean, you
- 31:48Speaker 6: were deliberately trying to inflame him in the worst possible way.
- 31:52Speaker 6: You were having sex with a guy you knew he hated.
- 31:55Speaker 6: How can it get much more inflammatory than that?
- 31:59Speaker 3: Guess it doesn't.
- 32:09Speaker 6: They broke up, so Seth and Amber stopped seeing each other.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Did that have a big effect on Seth? Did you
- 32:16Speaker 6: notice that he was particularly devastated by this?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yeah, he was.
- 32:21Speaker 6: He did a lot of crying.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Yeah, he was.
- 32:25Speaker 1: A lot of consoling him. talking to him, it'll get
- 32:29Speaker 1: better and, you know, just how you do your kids,
- 32:31Speaker 1: because you don't want to see him hurting. And after
- 32:35Speaker 1: a while, he started getting past it.
- 32:39Speaker 4: I kept telling him, just leave it alone. You know,
- 32:41Speaker 4: there's a lot of other girls out there. You've already
- 32:45Speaker 4: had a few girlfriends. You know, you're young. This isn't
- 32:50Speaker 4: your first. It isn't your last. You know, you got
- 32:54Speaker 4: to move on. He really did care for Amber.
- 32:58Speaker 6: I mean, one of the reasons that he may have
- 33:00Speaker 6: been so upset was that she was deliberately enraging him
- 33:05Speaker 6: via her relationship with this guy, Mike Barger, who she
- 33:09Speaker 6: now admits she was having sex with. And she was
- 33:12Speaker 6: quite open and said she was doing that to goad
- 33:16Speaker 6: and agitate your son.
- 33:18Speaker 4: That just confirms my feelings of her being manipulative and... Yes,
- 33:27Speaker 4: it makes me angry.
- 33:29Speaker 6: How do you feel about it, Scott?
- 33:31Speaker 4: I want to kill the bitch.
- 33:34Speaker 1: No, I want to put this in a good way.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I want to torture the bitch. All of them. And
- 33:44Speaker 1: wouldn't lose a bit of sleep over it. And it
- 33:49Speaker 1: would take a long time. but it's damn sure I'm
- 33:56Speaker 1: gonna feel good while I'm doing it.
- 34:03Speaker 14: Kyle Hooper kept his head down as the assistant M.E.
- 34:05Speaker 13: Talked about Seth Jackson's burned body parts.
- 34:08Speaker 14: At the trial, Kyle Hooper did have some remorse. Amber Wright,
- 34:11Speaker 14: I've never, never, never seen from her any remorse. She's
- 34:15Speaker 14: a cold, manipulative, calculating person.
- 34:18Speaker 6: What kind of person were you?
- 34:20Speaker 3: I was the person that didn't care about anything but
- 34:23Speaker 3: having fun. I was a selfish person. I was very
- 34:27Speaker 3: manipulative and I got what I wanted.
- 34:29Speaker 6: And what she wanted was Seth dead. And there was
- 34:35Speaker 6: one crucial piece of evidence that proved it. A mobile
- 34:39Speaker 6: phone with the text she had sent that lured him
- 34:43Speaker 6: to his death.
- 34:44Speaker 11: Amber Wright was the one that Seth was sweet on.
- 34:47Speaker 13: He wanted to get back with her in spite of
- 34:50Speaker 13: all the bad.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Feeling that had gone between them in the previous months.
- 34:56Speaker 8: The only reason that Seth Jackson went to that home
- 35:00Speaker 8: is because of her.
- 35:04Speaker 13: Seth would have never gone to that house if Michael
- 35:06Speaker 13: Barter had called him.
- 35:07Speaker 8: So every blow that Seth Jackson endured during that meeting
- 35:13Speaker 8: and every bullet.
- 35:15Speaker 13: That was shot into Seth's body is on her.
- 35:21Speaker 6: So Amber, I want to read you some of the
- 35:22Speaker 6: messages that you exchanged with Seth text messages. You have
- 35:27Speaker 6: now decided with the group that you personally are going
- 35:31Speaker 6: to lure Seth over and he's going to get killed.
- 35:37Speaker 6: And you say to him, I want you to come over.
- 35:38Speaker 6: I want to talk to you. He replies to you, Amber,
- 35:41Speaker 6: if you have me jumped, I will never give you
- 35:43Speaker 6: the time of day. So if I get jumped, say goodbye,
- 35:47Speaker 6: all right? You reply, I swear you're not Seth. I
- 35:50Speaker 6: could never do that to you. I just want me
- 35:53Speaker 6: and you back.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I manipulated him.
- 36:01Speaker 6: You didn't want him back, did you? That wasn't why
- 36:05Speaker 6: you were calling him over.
- 36:06Speaker 3: No.
- 36:08Speaker 6: You wanted him to come over because you knew that
- 36:11Speaker 6: he was going to die.
- 36:13Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 36:16Speaker 6: When you hear the words of those text messages now,
- 36:21Speaker 6: what do you feel about yourself, that you were a
- 36:24Speaker 6: person capable of doing that?
- 36:27Speaker 3: It makes me disgusted with myself. It makes me wonder,
- 36:33Speaker 3: what were I really doing? What type of person am
- 36:36Speaker 3: I really?
- 36:39Speaker 6: If you were somebody else who didn't know you, who
- 36:43Speaker 6: knew what happened and read these messages that you sent
- 36:46Speaker 6: him to lure him to his death, this guy you
- 36:49Speaker 6: were in love with, that you'd been having sex with,
- 36:52Speaker 6: partying with, what would you think of the person that
- 36:56Speaker 6: did this?
- 36:57Speaker 3: That she was manipulative, deceitful, and a monster.
- 37:08Speaker 6: It's a hard word, isn't it, to say about yourself?
- 37:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 37:13Speaker 6: I mean, this is monstrous behavior. It doesn't matter what
- 37:18Speaker 6: age you are. You're a 15-year-old girl, but you are
- 37:22Speaker 6: deliberately luring this boy to his death. And it's chilling
- 37:30Speaker 6: to read.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:03Speaker 9: Amber Wright is facing 25 years to life in prison.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Wright helped beat, shoot, and burn the body of Seth
- 38:10Speaker 2: Jackson back in 2011.
- 38:12Speaker 6: Four others are serving life.
- 38:14Speaker 2: The shooter, 23-year-old Michael Bargo, was sentenced to death.
- 38:19Speaker 6: You go to trial, and I've seen the video of
- 38:21Speaker 6: the moment that you are convicted. You know that's it.
- 38:30Speaker 6: You're going to go to prison for a very long time.
- 38:32Speaker 13: The defendant is guilty of murder in the first degree.
- 38:35Speaker 13: So say we all dated this 14 days.
- 38:37Speaker 6: And your head sinks.
- 38:38Speaker 4: 2016 signed for.
- 38:41Speaker 6: What is going through your mind in that moment?
- 38:45Speaker 3: I deserve this.
- 38:48Speaker 6: You deserved it? Yeah. Has it really sunk home to
- 38:55Speaker 6: you what this punishment actually means?
- 38:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it has. If we want to speak about the truth,
- 39:03Speaker 3: I've contemplated suicide. I have. I've told my mom several times.
- 39:12Speaker 3: I won't make it that long.
- 39:14Speaker 6: I won't.
- 39:18Speaker 3: I'm sunk in. I'm here. I'm here for life. I'm
- 39:21Speaker 3: not going anywhere. I can't change that. I can't take
- 39:26Speaker 3: that back. I can't make them change my life sentence.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Just like his mom said, an eye for an eye,
- 39:34Speaker 3: life for a life, right?
- 39:38Speaker 6: Four other co-defendants are serving life sentences.
- 39:41Speaker 13: Wright's mother, Tracy, was in tears.
- 39:43Speaker 5: After the verdict.
- 39:44Speaker 7: In that one instance, Tracy, she lost both her children
- 39:48Speaker 7: to the justice system. But I'm sure that there are
- 39:51Speaker 7: times that she thought to herself, as I would as
- 39:53Speaker 7: a mother, I should have paid more attention. I should
- 39:56Speaker 7: have known what was going on. My kids shouldn't have
- 39:58Speaker 7: been there.
- 40:00Speaker 5: They were just everyday teenagers, you know. I knew all
- 40:04Speaker 5: their friends. I knew their parents. You can't keep them
- 40:07Speaker 5: chained up to the house, you know. They just were
- 40:10Speaker 5: so familiar with the neighborhood because I grew up in
- 40:13Speaker 5: that neighborhood. They grew up in the neighborhood. So everybody
- 40:16Speaker 5: in the entire neighborhood knew the kids. So it was
- 40:18Speaker 5: safe for them. I worked a lot, and they were
- 40:23Speaker 5: good kids. They really were. Just took one bad thing
- 40:28Speaker 5: to come into their life, you know, to make them change.
- 40:36Speaker 5: As I say, evil walked into their life. Sonia Jackson
- 40:42Speaker 5: and I have both lost, so we are two grieving mothers.
- 40:48Speaker 5: She lost one child, and I lost two.
- 40:53Speaker 4: For me, I just kind of take it day by day.
- 40:56Speaker 4: I'm angry about each and every one of them and
- 40:59Speaker 4: what they did. I battle with this all the time
- 41:01Speaker 4: because for me, as a mom, I feel for those
- 41:07Speaker 4: kids because they are kids. I have emotions that feel
- 41:12Speaker 4: sorry for them. But when I set my mom feelings aside, yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 4: I'm pissed. It hurts. It's hard to talk about because,
- 41:26Speaker 4: you know, you want to scream at the world.
- 41:33Speaker 5: I pray for her all the time. If I'm thinking
- 41:37Speaker 5: I'm having a bad day, I always revert back to her.
- 41:40Speaker 5: You know, her son is the victim in this, and
- 41:43Speaker 5: her loss is much greater than mine.
- 41:47Speaker 4: I've often thought, you know, what if the shoe was
- 41:50Speaker 4: on the other foot? What if we were the parents
- 41:52Speaker 4: that was now going to visit our child in prison
- 41:56Speaker 4: because he had done something so horrible. How would we feel?
- 42:00Speaker 4: So I've always tried to sympathize.
- 42:03Speaker 1: But in that same sense, they can go visit their kids.
- 42:07Speaker 1: We'll never hear that shit again.
- 42:10Speaker 4: I know. Believe me, I think about it every day.
- 42:12Speaker 6: I know, I do too.
- 42:17Speaker 1: She's not sorry. She's sorry she got caught. That's the
- 42:21Speaker 1: only thing she's sorry for.
- 42:28Speaker 6: Do you feel that people can change?
- 42:33Speaker 3: I've only been locked out for five and a half years,
- 42:35Speaker 3: but this is my third prison I've been at. I've
- 42:40Speaker 3: been with several older women that have been down 28,
- 42:43Speaker 3: 30 years. These women are amazing. People change. People do better.
- 42:53Speaker 3: People accept what they've done. And they make it a
- 42:58Speaker 3: point to change and to love and to grow and
- 43:01Speaker 3: to make something of themselves, whether it's in here. For myself,
- 43:05Speaker 3: I've accepted my part, my life, my torment. I've accepted
- 43:11Speaker 3: that because I cannot change that.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Is that because you realize that actually if you hadn't
- 43:18Speaker 6: lured Seth over that day, he'd still be alive?
- 43:22Speaker 3: He would have still been alive after that night, yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 6: If I wouldn't have been the bait, At the time,
- 43:30Speaker 6: you wanted to blame everybody else, led by Michael. Have
- 43:36Speaker 6: you had any contact with Michael since? Would you like to?
- 43:41Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 43:49Speaker 3: I've had thoughts about it, trying to write him a
- 43:53Speaker 3: letter and reach out, but I don't think I could.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I couldn't look at him, I couldn't talk to him.
- 44:02Speaker 6: Why?
- 44:04Speaker 3: Because for so long I blamed him for the person
- 44:08Speaker 3: who I, in the beginning, said ruined my life. I
- 44:15Speaker 3: don't think I could look at any of my co-defendants.
- 44:26Speaker 6: Amber, thank you.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 44:32Speaker 6: There's no doubt that she appears now to understand the
- 44:35Speaker 6: enormity of what she did. She appeared to be contrite.
- 44:40Speaker 6: Is there anything that she could say to you that
- 44:43Speaker 6: would make any difference?
- 44:45Speaker 4: To him, I could say no. I know that's his answer.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Not a damn thing. She could die and make me
- 44:52Speaker 1: feel that much better.
- 44:55Speaker 6: What about you, Sonia?
- 44:56Speaker 4: To me, no. It doesn't matter what she says to me.
- 44:59Speaker 4: It's not going to make me feel any better. It's
- 45:00Speaker 4: not going to bring my son back. Maybe someday I
- 45:04Speaker 4: could forgive her. Not today.
