- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seventeen wor Well.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla, great talk show host, brilliant comedian, and he's
- 0:10Speaker 2: now on WR every weeknight nine to midnight. You gotta
- 0:14Speaker 2: listen to him tonight every weeknight, nine to midnight. He
- 0:16Speaker 2: also does the best late night show on television, Saturday
- 0:19Speaker 2: Night's ten o'clock Fox News Channel, with the best monologue
- 0:23Speaker 2: in television. Even President Trump came out and said he
- 0:27Speaker 2: watches it. He's a big fan of it. Jimmy Fayla,
- 0:30Speaker 2: how you doing? You know what?
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm still rolling from that Trump tweet about my show,
- 0:35Speaker 1: but I want to break some news here because Joe
- 0:37Speaker 1: Biden also shouted me out on MySpace. Trump Trump wrote
- 0:44Speaker 1: a knife note on Twitter. Biden's over there, still getting
- 0:47Speaker 1: his MySpace page together. But it was cool. Mark, Yeah,
- 0:50Speaker 1: jump from the trump Man.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Well, as Donald Trump said, it's the best monologue in television.
- 0:56Speaker 2: And obviously he's a big fan of yours. So and
- 0:59Speaker 2: it's the only you know, we talked last time about
- 1:02Speaker 2: Johnny Carson. You're the only thing that's even in that
- 1:05Speaker 2: ballpark anymore. Everybody else is so political. It's like a
- 1:08Speaker 2: real good old fashioned late night talk show that isn't
- 1:12Speaker 2: so partisan, so and have you heard any more from
- 1:16Speaker 2: the President?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Really? Just that? And I took to a couple of
- 1:19Speaker 1: guys in the White House who that I know, and
- 1:22Speaker 1: I was like, wow, just you know, tell the big man.
- 1:24Speaker 1: This made my day.
- 1:24Speaker 3: And they were like, oh, he loves you.
- 1:26Speaker 1: He's like, I'm surprised he hasn't said something sooner. And
- 1:28Speaker 1: I was like, get out of here, because the minute
- 1:30Speaker 1: you hear that, right and you realize he really does
- 1:32Speaker 1: watch the show. Now, I've got to figure out how
- 1:35Speaker 1: I'm going to make fun of him this week without
- 1:37Speaker 1: getting my house hit in the.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Drone strike, you know what I mean?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Because the whole point of comedy, and this is why
- 1:43Speaker 1: I was thrilled that he liked that monologue, is we
- 1:46Speaker 1: make fun of Trump in the monologue, not in like
- 1:47Speaker 1: a malicious way, but the whole point of it is
- 1:50Speaker 1: we're holding up a mirror to society and we're kind of.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Laugh at it the whole thing.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So the fact that he could laugh at himself, I
- 1:57Speaker 1: think is something a lot of other politicians stands benefit
- 2:01Speaker 1: from because where's sure laughing at him just the same.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, you can make fun of him. I
- 2:05Speaker 2: used to, you know, I believe it not. In the
- 2:06Speaker 2: old days, the nineties, I was the MC of a
- 2:08Speaker 2: million Donald Trump ros and I would make all kinds
- 2:11Speaker 2: of jokes about he never minded. And if you watch
- 2:13Speaker 2: him in those Friars Roast or even the al Smith dinner,
- 2:17Speaker 2: they really go after him and he loves it. It
- 2:18Speaker 2: doesn't bother him at all. So you can do it.
- 2:21Speaker 4: No, he's good. So it's good to know.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's good to know I'm not on a government watch
- 2:25Speaker 1: list right now.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So where do we even start? Davos? Isn't that a
- 2:32Speaker 2: silly thing? That's like a convention of idiots? The Stavos thing.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It is funny, But like everybody listening has to know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: there's like a few events a year like Davos. They
- 2:41Speaker 1: have that c CP two climate thing. It's a chance
- 2:44Speaker 1: for European leaders to fly in and do what they
- 2:46Speaker 1: do best, which is hookers. And once they get that
- 2:50Speaker 1: out of the way, there's a lot of ritzy cocktail
- 2:53Speaker 1: parties and then a bunch of empty platitudes about the environment.
- 2:57Speaker 1: The best one out there right now is the Perry
- 3:00Speaker 1: Because for all of the leaders in the al Gores
- 3:02Speaker 1: at this climate thing. Katie Perry showed up yesterday to
- 3:06Speaker 1: the lectures about climate change. She was the one who
- 3:09Speaker 1: spent five hundred million gallons of fuel so she could
- 3:13Speaker 1: pretend she was an astronaut.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Do you remember that she went up.
- 3:16Speaker 1: With Jeff Bezos's wife for three minutes and thirty seconds
- 3:20Speaker 1: and told us this was like an Apollo breakthrough. I'm like,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you weren't even in space long enough to bring a
- 3:24Speaker 1: phone charger. I'm like, come on, lady.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Well buy that al Gore. Didn't he look like a
- 3:32Speaker 2: real dinosaur, like an old relic from another century?
- 3:36Speaker 4: Boy, Yes, Puffy.
- 3:37Speaker 1: What I love about it, Mark is two guys who
- 3:40Speaker 1: spent all our lives in New York. Is like when
- 3:42Speaker 1: we were kids, if there was someone screaming at you
- 3:45Speaker 1: that he could control the weather, you put the guy
- 3:48Speaker 1: in a home.
- 3:49Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You didn't give him money and say go make a
- 3:52Speaker 1: documentary like he doesn't know what he's doing. And remember this,
- 3:56Speaker 1: he's another guy who told us we can't use so
- 3:58Speaker 1: much electric electricity. Meanwhile, now Tennessee mansion has an electric
- 4:03Speaker 1: bill that makes Las Vegas look fomish.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You know, like, come on, man, hey, Minnesota. These women,
- 4:11Speaker 2: these angry white liberal women. This is like a new phenomenon,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and there's like millions of them. They're just horrifying. And
- 4:20Speaker 2: did you ever see protesters like this before? They were
- 4:23Speaker 2: never like this in the past.
- 4:25Speaker 1: No, And you know, I used to think part of
- 4:27Speaker 1: the allure of a protest was like you'd see some
- 4:30Speaker 1: hot chick, you'd say you were on their side, and
- 4:34Speaker 1: you might get a drink afterwoods. They're not showing up.
- 4:38Speaker 1: They're not those these they're not those protests from the
- 4:43Speaker 1: good old days. I've been saying this all week. We
- 4:46Speaker 1: don't need gun control, we need nose ring control, because
- 4:49Speaker 1: everyone buys a nose ring and immediately dyes their hair
- 4:52Speaker 1: purple and starts spitting on ice agents, and there has
- 4:55Speaker 1: to be a correlation here. I just wish there'd be
- 4:58Speaker 1: one good looking protester so I could find some sympathy
- 5:01Speaker 1: for them, you know what I mean. But I don't
- 5:03Speaker 1: look at any of these people and go, yeah, I'm
- 5:04Speaker 1: kind of rooting for.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Them, you know.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, meantime, nineteen billion went missing in Minnesota for
- 5:10Speaker 2: those daycarees, and how come they're not protesting that? Not
- 5:13Speaker 2: a word about that anywhere.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I know it's so true. That's so funny.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And you know what's crazy about it is that one
- 5:19Speaker 1: of the reasons they're protesting ICE as hard as they
- 5:22Speaker 1: are is because they want the fraud arrests, because people
- 5:25Speaker 1: are gonna get arrested for fraud, like in addition to
- 5:27Speaker 1: people who got prosecuted years back, there's gonna be new
- 5:30Speaker 1: arrests from this DJ and they want them to look retaliatory,
- 5:35Speaker 1: meaning the people on the left, the Tim watson Is,
- 5:36Speaker 1: the Jacob Fries, the Keith Allison's, they're really fan in
- 5:39Speaker 1: these flames because when they finally get indicted, they want
- 5:42Speaker 1: to go see Trump's coming after us because we told
- 5:46Speaker 1: the truth about I so everyone knows that. You know,
- 5:49Speaker 1: come on, man, if Jadie Vance is having his fourth kids,
- 5:52Speaker 1: the vice president shouldn't have more kids than the average
- 5:55Speaker 1: daycare in Minneapolis, Like, come on, that's nuts.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Clinton's have been held in contempt of Congress for not
- 6:02Speaker 2: showing up. Today's Democrats. They really have no love for
- 6:06Speaker 2: the Clintons anymore, do they?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yes?
- 6:09Speaker 4: But I love this though, that neither of them will
- 6:11Speaker 4: show up.
- 6:11Speaker 3: They would rather go to jail than spend the day together.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Lock me up, Lock him up, you know. And again
- 6:21Speaker 1: we've seen a lot of people arrested for this. Steve
- 6:24Speaker 1: Bannon got popped for this. They took in Peter Navarro
- 6:26Speaker 1: for this, as you know. So there's obviously a little
- 6:28Speaker 1: bit of a double standard here. And the thing is
- 6:31Speaker 1: the Republicans, to their credit and somewhat detriment, don't want
- 6:35Speaker 1: to arrest their political opponents. They know it looks bad
- 6:37Speaker 1: and it creates a lot of sympathy for the other side,
- 6:40Speaker 1: which is what the Democrats did when they arrested Trump.
- 6:42Speaker 1: For a lot of people, they suddenly started to see
- 6:44Speaker 1: things his way, you know, So the Democrats kind of
- 6:47Speaker 1: know they'll get away with it. I think is the
- 6:50Speaker 1: issue there.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And you know, for the Hillary thing, I don't know.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I think she wants to go to jail for this,
- 6:56Speaker 1: so they don't look into the other stuff.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Knows what.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Fayal is on every night here on w
- 7:03Speaker 2: R nine to midnight, every night, Great Show, nine to midnight.
- 7:06Speaker 2: What do you have on tonight show?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Oh, it's a big one tonight.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So we have Michelle Tafoya, who just announced she's running
- 7:15Speaker 1: for Senate in Minnesota to try to clean.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Up this mess.
- 7:18Speaker 1: She just launched her campaign.
- 7:19Speaker 3: She's stopping by.
- 7:20Speaker 1: My show to talk about it. Hopefully talk some sense
- 7:22Speaker 1: into these people. And you know, I'm either I'm either
- 7:26Speaker 1: gonna get a good laugh or hopefully I get some
- 7:28Speaker 1: of that fake transportation money.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You gotta work at the angles here, you know.
- 7:32Speaker 2: To nine to midnight tonight. And don't make sure you
- 7:35Speaker 2: watch this Saturday night show. It's the best late night
- 7:37Speaker 2: talk show. It's Saturday Nights at ten. President Trump tweeted
- 7:42Speaker 2: out that he loves it. It's his favorite monologue every
- 7:45Speaker 2: week in telling so you must be writing very carefully now.
- 7:48Speaker 2: It almost puts more pressure on you now that you
- 7:50Speaker 2: know he's watching every week.
- 7:52Speaker 3: You know what, man, I promise it's all. It's all
- 7:55Speaker 3: the same. But what I'm interested is.
- 7:58Speaker 4: You know, at some point I'm gonna run into him again.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And you know, he's a.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Very opinionated guy.
- 8:03Speaker 1: So I would love to talk jokes with him. Yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 1: because like I make jokes about me because I've met
- 8:09Speaker 1: Malaney and taking pictures and stuff like that. So I
- 8:11Speaker 1: don't quite feel the pressure of like, oh I better
- 8:14Speaker 1: do well. I just have this curiosity now. I want
- 8:17Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I want to know what
- 8:18Speaker 1: the thing is like, what does she seeing him? Because
- 8:21Speaker 1: the truthday is Mark and this is what I'm building too.
- 8:23Speaker 1: He didn't just compliment my monologue. He complimented my wife.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And if you keep complimenting my wife, they're going to
- 8:28Speaker 1: invoke the twenty fifth of minute. I'm concerned. I'm concerned.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Oh, your wife's very good on that show. She's like
- 8:34Speaker 2: the new uh Joy Philpin.
- 8:38Speaker 1: She's got chopped. She's a good hand because she grew
- 8:41Speaker 1: up on a dairy farm, and she can take a
- 8:43Speaker 1: joke because she has no self esteem.
- 8:45Speaker 3: You know, she's a great girl.
- 8:46Speaker 1: She grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio and
- 8:49Speaker 1: married a cab driver who was telling jokes and getting
- 8:52Speaker 1: paid in mozzarella sticks when we met. So she's down
- 8:55Speaker 1: for an adventure. I guess it's the best way to
- 8:57Speaker 1: describe it.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Well, it's a great show. It's every Saturday night, Fox
- 9:00Speaker 2: News Channel ten o'clock, best monologue in television and if
- 9:03Speaker 2: you want to hear the funniest radio show, that's fascinating,
- 9:06Speaker 2: great guests. It's every night here nine to midnight, Tonight
- 9:10Speaker 2: nine to midnight, and every weeknight Jimmy Fayla, great stuff.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us.
- 9:16Speaker 4: You're the best man. I'll see you. See it all right?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Take care. Yeah, make sure you listen to tonight nine
- 9:20Speaker 2: to midnight. And President Trump really did tweet out that
- 9:24Speaker 2: he loves Jimmy Fayla's late night show. It's his favorite monologue. Hey,
- 9:28Speaker 2: we'll wrap things up in just a moment. On seven
- 9:31Speaker 2: ten WR
