- 0:03$195 silver. Are you kidding me?
- 0:07Hey, don't get mad at me. Famous Dave gave us his recipe
- 0:11for $195 silver. And there's some very
- 0:15interesting components to this when we compare that number to
- 0:19what the inflation adjusted high for silver was today in 1980
- 0:26prices. We're going to break that down
- 0:28for you. Ray Dalio said something
- 0:30shocking about gold. Yes, that Ray Dalio, if you
- 0:33don't know who Ray Dalio is, that's OK.
- 0:36You're going to know by the end of this video and you'll be
- 0:40very, very interested, number one, in what he said, something
- 0:44shocking about gold. And we know gold, gold's the
- 0:47godfather of the precious metal. So he's talking about silver as
- 0:51well, but you'll also know who Ray Dalio is because he's
- 0:55somebody super, super important and smart, and we want to listen
- 1:00to what he is telling us about precious metals.
- 1:03We're also going to talk about a very controversial subject, but
- 1:07I'm going to tell you why I think you may want to consider
- 1:11if you're against this, right, the digitization of gold.
- 1:15If you are one of these steadfast, no, no, no.
- 1:20Well, you know, any kind of digitization of why you may just
- 1:23want to open your mind a little bit and consider the massive
- 1:27benefits that could happen to the precious metal sector
- 1:30because of digitization. And it doesn't, it doesn't stop
- 1:34you from being a stacker. OK, so we're going to talk about
- 1:37that as well. And it gets weirder by the day.
- 1:42Basement dwellers, I know. Yeah.
- 1:44It's a weird world, right? A lot of strange.
- 1:46Doesn't it feel strange? You ever wonder, like, has it
- 1:48ever been this strange in the world?
- 1:51So much going on geopolitically, politically, everywhere.
- 1:55Just a a really, really, really challenging time for us to be
- 2:00alive. But it gets even stranger when
- 2:02you hear about this. A cookie delivery company now
- 2:07delivering gold. Is it true?
- 2:09We'll wrap up with that as well. But hey, let's talk about what
- 2:12happened yesterday in the silver market in particular, was a
- 2:16horrible day for silver. We were on here during the live
- 2:19stream, right? Talking like gas.
- 2:20Silver's up a little bit. Silver's up $0.12 down.
- 2:23And what do you know? Whoop, Dee whoop, right?
- 2:26What, around noon or something like that.
- 2:28I look silver down a dollar per oz.
- 2:31Are you kidding me, guys? Let's just quickly review.
- 2:35Silver is a very volatile metal. Do you ever wonder about that?
- 2:40Like, is it just us or is it real?
- 2:44It's real. Silver is very, very volatile.
- 2:47It always has been. Some people refer to it as the
- 2:50Widowmaker, and I can, I can. If you're like me, you can
- 2:55understand why, right? Silver will have volatile moves.
- 2:59I want to I want to point out let's just run out.
- 3:02This is off the cuff, so bear with me I'm going to bring you
- 3:05out to the Internet. Let's just do a quick price
- 3:07check here we are at channel sponsor pinbex right.

- 3:41don't look, I always say that, you know, trust me.
- 3:44I know you can trust me. But you need to find out for
- 3:46yourself that Pendbex is a company that you can trust.
- 3:49Let's press the magic Pendbex button and see if our friends at
- 3:53the COMEX in the LBNA. This is not an updated price on
- 3:56gold, and silver have been able to wrangle it down to red, and
- 4:01they did Well. No, gold's up 80.
- 4:04Gold, $2460 per oz. We need to memorize that.
- 4:10OK, silver, $30.32 per oz. What's important to remember
- 4:17here, guys? Some interesting observations on
- 4:19what happened yesterday. Silver got clobbered, gold went
- 4:23down a little bit, but not a whole lot.
- 4:26Is the summer rally, the premature fall rally that we
- 4:30talked so much about, the potential for that, is it still
- 4:33in the books? I think it is.
- 4:35Do you think it is? I think it is.
- 4:38We are having very unusual behavior in the gold price, even
- 4:43the silver price for a summer. This is the summer doldrums.
- 4:47I was talking to the one of my contacts last night.
- 4:50Like, we got to remember we are still in the middle of the
- 4:52summer doldrums, guys, and silver and gold are doing OK.
- 4:57I know days like yesterday are absolutely disheartening.
- 5:00Right. I'm a physical silver guy here.
- 5:02Do I need to prove it to you? Here we go there.
- 5:07Right. Look at that.
- 5:09Yeah. And I was.
- 5:10Oh, and I got something great. I got a great piece of insight
- 5:13from our friend Pierce as well. Then I'm going to read here in a
- 5:15little bit about how we can remember what we need to
- 5:19remember critical things. Do you know, there's critical
- 5:22foundational concepts that US silver and gold investors need
- 5:27to remember our foundations on which we are built, right?
- 5:31Like the foundations of our country were built on silver,
- 5:35were built on gold. I, I was talking to one of my Co
- 5:38workers last night and she was talking about her husband.
- 5:40She's like, he used to be kind of a more of a libertarian.
- 5:43And I said, I think I'm not a political guy.
- 5:45I said, but I think I'm kind of a libertarian ish type person
- 5:49because I really believe that silver and gold, right, that the
- 5:53founding fathers of this country put silver and gold into the
- 5:56Constitution. That wasn't on accident.
- 5:58Oh, and I got something big to tell you guys about that as
- 6:01well. OK.
- 6:01And I want to get your opinion on this right.
- 6:03But that was not an accident. They did that to create a fair,
- 6:09even playing field on which everybody a capitalist
- 6:13environment, but a fair, equal playing field.
- 6:18What's gone on in the last whatever years since the Fed's
- 6:21been around is they've tilted the playing field against the
- 6:25common man. The Founding Fathers knew what
- 6:27they were doing. They put gold and silver in
- 6:29there to create an equal level playing field in which if you
- 6:33worked hard, if you made smart decisions, if you got out of bed
- 6:36early and did a little extra work, you can get ahead.
- 6:40You could store that extra work value that you created and
- 6:43things like silver and gold now, right?
- 6:46The big fat, lazy bankers. Sorry to any of our banker
- 6:49friends out there, not all of them are big, fat and lazy.
- 6:51That was a little rude. So I want to, I want to retract
- 6:54that last comment, but those scumball, they're not all
- 7:00scumballs either, but a lot of them are big bankers, right?
- 7:04They're just, they're just, they're just manipulating the
- 7:06system, right. While the average man's out
- 7:09there trying to work for these make believe paper Unicorn fart
- 7:13dust right paper dollars and they got them all fooled.
- 7:16They don't have you fooled, do you?
- 7:18Are you? Do you think you're fooled?
- 7:19I don't think you're fooled if you're here in the basement, by
- 7:21the way, it's a big deal. You are here in the basement.
- 7:23Thank you for joining me here today.
- 7:25It would be really nice and I know you like to do nice things.
- 7:28If you gave this video a thumbs up, you can always subscribe.
- 7:30That's free because we want you foundationally to feel like you
- 7:34found a little home away from home here in the basement.
- 7:37My fellow basement dwellers, they got everybody condensed to
- 7:41work for these in these lose what 5-10, fifteen, 20% of their
- 7:46value every single year. Oh, I know this.
- 7:50Let me see if I can get this out because I this was a very, very
- 7:53big key insight that I had last night and sometimes my key
- 7:58insights are wrong. So if you think this is wrong,
- 8:02let me know. I was thinking about the
- 8:04founding fathers of the United States of America, right?
- 8:08Hamilton, The guys that wrote the Constitution.
- 8:11You know, I'm not a constitutional guru, but whoever
- 8:13they were, you know, Hamilton, Franklin, right?
- 8:16All these guys that were were taught to Revere they set up the
- 8:20country number one, I'll repeat it for the third time with a
- 8:23fair even playing field right where men were independent,
- 8:27women were independent. Well, I know that came later,
- 8:30but anyway, that's not for this discussion an equal playing
- 8:33field for everybody. How's that sound in that in that
- 8:37in that in that gold and silver. But so when they set the system
- 8:40up, here's what I think happened.
- 8:42They set it up as a for a small country that it just that it
- 8:47just gate got its independence. They didn't realize how big we
- 8:50were going to get and it works so darn well.
- 8:53Think about this is the key moment of insight.
- 8:55It worked so don't where is it There it is Everybody say hi to
- 9:00the $85 silver bear, huh. His blindfold comes off when
- 9:04silver hits $85. What the, what the founding
- 9:07fathers set up works so well, right?
- 9:11Was such an awesome system that we became the greatest country
- 9:15on the face of the earth. But I don't think they were
- 9:17really planning for that. I think if we could go back to
- 9:21whatever 1776 and tell them, oh, by the way, the system you're
- 9:25setting up is going to work so well that we're going to become
- 9:27the most powerful country in the world.
- 9:29So you need to account for that as well.
- 9:32Right? Then now it's anyway I got off
- 9:34track, but the whole system has become perverted.
- 9:36Silver and gold, silver and gold are going to prevail.
- 9:39Silver and gold are the biggest market in the world.
- 9:43Silver and gold are timeless. Silver and gold are universal.
- 9:48OK, think about that, right? Everywhere.
- 9:51Silver and gold are apolitical. They're not a political party.
- 9:54Silver and gold are like water and oil, right?
- 9:58They're part, but they're the money of the world, right?
- 10:01Silver and gold are the wisest markets in the world, OK, So
- 10:06what's going to happen, right? What's going to happen?
- 10:08And what And the results of all that is that silver and gold are
- 10:11also the most impacted by market forces and market forces are
- 10:17going to create true price discovery.
- 10:19It's happening right now for silver and gold.
- 10:21We can't think about this. This is crazy, guys.
- 10:25All those things I just said about silver and gold, The
- 10:27biggest market in the world. Well, not the biggest, but one
- 10:30of the biggest, the oldest, the wisest, universal, timeless, all
- 10:34that. OK.
- 10:35And then you couple that with the fact that that makes it.
- 10:38It's everywhere. So market forces everywhere are
- 10:41affecting silver and gold. Compare that to the US dollar.
- 10:45It's like the opposite, right? the US dollar's fake, phony.
- 10:49It's not universal. It's not timeless, right?
- 10:52It is manipulated. Think about it, think about it.
- 10:56Think how different those two are.
- 10:58Think of the difference. Here I'll show you visually the
- 11:02difference between this and this, right?
- 11:07OK, this thousands of years, this universal everywhere,
- 11:15right? 3000 years ago, this could have
- 11:17been used as money probably anywhere in the world.
- 11:19They'd have been like, wow, that's cool how they make silver
- 11:21into that. But nonetheless, the silver
- 11:24right this has is affected by market forces everywhere in the
- 11:29world. This right wasn't around 3000
- 11:32years. This is valuable in a lot of
- 11:34places, but not everywhere. OK, right and this is
- 11:39manipulated. This is make believe synthetic,
- 11:42unfortunately, because you know what it used to be this see that
- 11:47that is that a dollar you're asking me?
- 11:49No, see if you can get to the top.
- 11:51It won't focus. Hold on.
- 11:54Well, it says silver. There it is, Silver certificate,
- 11:59OK. And on the bottom down there, it
- 12:02says that it's basically redeemable for silver, OK.
- 12:06It wasn't so it wasn't always that way.
- 12:08It was not always. I got off track.
- 12:10I apologize. A lot of weirdness going on in
- 12:13the markets. The DXY index.
- 12:15Let's go take a quick look at that.
- 12:17Hold on here. I got you on there.
- 12:21OK, hold on here guys. Look at this.
- 12:25I mean, yesterday silver gets clobbered.
- 12:30All these relationships are breaking down.
- 12:32Everything's breaking down. And yesterday, who knows what's
- 12:36happening today, right? But yesterday the US, now the US
- 12:40dollar index is flying up again today.
- 12:42But let's just look at a look at what happened yesterday on five
- 12:45day chart of the DXY. Look at that.
- 12:47It collapsed, right? Yeah, it collapsed.
- 12:51I mean, we were at one O 4 1/2. This is a huge move and we went
- 12:56all the way down that that's supposed to be good.
- 12:58When the so when the, when the the DXY index, which is compares
- 13:03the dollar to the euro, the yen, you know, it's, it's the
- 13:06prettiest turd in the toilet contest.
- 13:07But nonetheless, that's supposed to be good for silver and gold.
- 13:11Everything's changing. Everything is changing out
- 13:14there. OK, lots of weirdness.
- 13:16Let's go to a comment I got sent in from a very insightful user.
- 13:20I believe this was from Pierce. Hold on here, let's go.
- 13:25Here we go. I'll read this to you briefly
- 13:28because I almost put out a community post saying this
- 13:31pretty much same thing last night.
- 13:32He said silver price is down today.
- 13:34No, not at all. An ounce of physical silver
- 13:38yesterday still weighs the same today.
- 13:42Not down, not even a gram. Fiat bets may have been waged
- 13:47today only to be cancelled tomorrow.
- 13:49So what? Physical still, silver still
- 13:53needs to be delivered to India and China for solar,
- 13:56photovotalic and for all industrial uses in a silver
- 14:01deficit market. Don't forget guys, we are
- 14:04pulling silver out of the reserve fund, out of the old
- 14:08silver slush fund. I think it's almost up like over
- 14:11the last four years, like what 650 million oz have been pulled
- 14:15out of the silver slush fund. That slush fund can't be
- 14:18printed, can't be in because the amount of silver, that the
- 14:23amount of silver being mined is going down, right?
- 14:25We know that means this is almost getting humorous.
- 14:28So we're pulling silver out of the above ground slush fund.
- 14:31So guess what? The slush fund is going down as
- 14:34well, right? It's like if you built up some
- 14:37savings during the the C19 crisis, and then with inflation,
- 14:41you had to start dipping into your savings.
- 14:44That savings, as you and I both know, doesn't last forever.
- 14:47And it's the same thing with physical silver.
- 14:49OK, Lower supply and greater demand equals higher value of
- 14:53silver into the future. That's it.
- 14:56All good folks. Stacked silver basement
- 14:58dwellers. Thank you.
- 14:59I believe that's from our friend Pierce.
- 15:01He's the lucky leprechaun from Limerick, Ireland, always
- 15:06putting out greats are sending me great information.
- 15:09So you know, don't forget that hit me last night, right?
- 15:13Oh, Silverstone, I was looking at my an American Silver Eagle.
- 15:16Look at this one. Not this particular one.
- 15:18So I have one that I got from Don the Brain and another one
- 15:22that I got from Jake from Jake's Custom Parts.
- 15:25And by the way, thank you to Jake's Custom Parts, Annie
- 15:29Oakley and all the moderators. Susie's not here today, so I'm
- 15:32flying solo. But I was thinking last night,
- 15:35this. Now look at it.
- 15:36Let's make it shine. This is an ounce of silver, OK?
- 15:40Last night I was sitting at work and I had my other.
- 15:43I think it's the one I got from Jake at work with me.
- 15:45I carry it around. And I was like, you know what?
- 15:47You know what, buttercup? You still an ounce of silver.
- 15:52It's still an ounce of silver this morning.
- 15:54It was an ounce of silver 2000 years ago.
- 15:57It'll be an ounce of silver 2000 years from now.
- 16:00We likely won't be here, but hey, you never know, right?
- 16:04It'll. But it will still be an ounce of
- 16:06silver two years from now, right?
- 16:08Do you think this will still be an ounce of silver two years
- 16:11from now? I do if you do, I'm going to ask
- 16:15you let's let's have a little participatory fun.
- 16:17If you do think that that will be an ounce of silver two years
- 16:22from now, type the number two in the comments section.
- 16:25We haven't done that for a while because I know right I mean we
- 16:28got to remember that guys, metal is metal.
- 16:32I got this and it's it's the craziest for a guy.
- 16:37Are you look, you love, I imagine you love silver and
- 16:41gold. I love silver and gold.
- 16:42I kind of love all medals. I came to the conclusion, but
- 16:45I'm I love silver is my primary love.
- 16:48I love gold and I own a lot of gold mining stocks, right?
- 16:51And I think I got a couple copper rounds, buddy Rumble, the
- 16:54Louisiana gold guru who sent me a couple.
- 16:56But none the less, I had this moment of insight.
- 17:00And I'll tell you this story quickly because it's really not
- 17:03that great of a story. What a lead in, huh?
- 17:07I was driving home, I was stuck in a traffic jam on Olive Blvd.
- 17:11right up from where I live. They were repaving.
- 17:12You know what that goes? It's lunchtime.
- 17:14I'm like, oh, why did I go this way?
- 17:15There's an old truck in front of me like a Chevy Suburban from
- 17:201993, a big, huge truck. And I thought, it's not going to
- 17:23be long and that sucker is going to be in the junkyard and it's
- 17:27going to be getting crushed up. And then it dawned on me, I
- 17:30thought the only only value that truck is eventually going to
- 17:34have, and pretty darn soon is the metal that's on it.
- 17:37Now I know it's they're, you know, they're a little bit of
- 17:39silver, I'm sure in there. But metal, metal, metal.
- 17:42It's like real, OK, it's real. So what happens yesterday?
- 17:46Who cares? OK.
- 17:49And the other thing we got to remember.
- 17:51All right, let's go out. Let's go check out.
- 17:52Let's do a check. Take your blood pressure
- 17:54medicine. It's time to go press the magic
- 17:56button and let's see if they've got us all down into the red
- 18:00zone yet. Come on.
- 18:02All right, guys, we're green, baby.
- 18:05Hey, we'll take it. 2461 for gold.
- 18:08That's like if I have this correct.
- 18:11If we were talking a week ago, guys, that's still that's a new
- 18:14all time high range. Oh my God.
- 18:17Nobody's talking about it, right.
- 18:19Nobody's all right. Ray Dalio.
- 18:22Sorry, I'm yelling. Ray Dalio.
- 18:24Ray Dalio, Do you know Ray Dalio?
- 18:26Ray Dalio, Let's let's do a quick, I mean, like two second
- 18:30education. But Ray Dalio said something
- 18:33shocking. I am shocked, OK, about gold.
- 18:37And I'm here by myself, so I can't get too crazy excited
- 18:40about this. Here it is.
- 18:43Uh oh. Investopedia.
- 18:44Oh, boy. Here we go.
- 18:45I don't want to get started. I don't want you.
- 18:47There we go. Let me make sure you guys are
- 18:49seeing this. You are.
- 18:52And who is Ray Dalio? Ray Dalio's the founder of
- 18:55Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund.
- 19:01Ray Dalio started from scratch, Bridgewater Associates.
- 19:06So from nothing, he created this and it is now the world's
- 19:09biggest hedge fund. Not just a hedge fund, boys and
- 19:12girls, basement dwellers, the world's biggest hedge fund.
- 19:15Now he said something unbelievable.
- 19:18I almost said the F word. He said something unbelievable
- 19:25about gold. But don't forget his hedge fund
- 19:28that he started from nothing, which is now the largest in the
- 19:31world, has around only 130 billion in capital.
- 19:34That was as of June 2022. Anyway, he went to Harvard,
- 19:39blah, blah, blah, he started it. He's listen to this, started
- 19:43Bridgewater from his two-bedroom Manhattan apartment in 1975.
- 19:50What does Ray, what's Ray Dalio telling us about gold?
- 19:54Hold on here we go over to CNBC Ray Dalios that makes the case
- 20:01for gold as the precious metal hits new record high.
- 20:06All right, hold on a second. I'm have a sip of coffee.
- 20:13So Ray makes the case for gold is the precious metal hits new
- 20:16record high. Ray Dalio this is crazy.
- 20:20Okay, I never realized he says this.
- 20:23Ray Dalio believes gold deserves a significant portion of one's
- 20:26portfolio, saying the precious metal is still appealing even at
- 20:30record highs. Gold is an effective
- 20:32diversifier, meaning that if you take the classic mix of assets,
- 20:35you have A and have a particular problem and optimal portfolio
- 20:39would have something more than about 10% in it.
- 20:44He's calling for 10% gold. Dalio found founder of the
- 20:49world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, believes
- 20:52if an investor has an impartial view on the markets, gold should
- 20:56take up more than 110th of the portfolio.
- 21:00So guys, let's just review world's largest hedge fund.
- 21:05He started it from scratch. Let's just say this guy has some
- 21:09good insights into what's going on in the market.
- 21:11And he's telling you and me that we should have at least.
- 21:15And he's telling the world that they should have 10% of their
- 21:18money in gold. And, you know, that's big,
- 21:22right? That's big.
- 21:23Ray Dalio. I'm sorry.
- 21:25Ray Dalio is smarter than Warren Buffett.
- 21:28OK, You may disagree with me on that.
- 21:30Warren Buffett gets all the headlines.
- 21:32Ray Dalio. And think about who's the other
- 21:37Jeffrey Gunlock, the bomb king. OK, You have Ray Dalio, the
- 21:41founder of the world's largest hedge fund, saying precious
- 21:45metals. Precious metals.
- 21:48You have Jeffrey Gunlock. You know who Jeffrey Gunlock is?
- 21:51Double line capital. He's the bond king.
- 21:53You know, the bond market, which is, which is exponentially
- 21:57bigger than the stock market. What's the bond king say?
- 22:00Gold. OK, they're not saying put
- 22:02everything you have in gold. They're not saying, you know,
- 22:05oh, that's, but they're talking about the benefits of owning
- 22:09gold. It's getting interesting out
- 22:16there. It's getting getting very
- 22:19interesting. What else do we have?
- 22:23Wait, you want to I promised you to talk about $195 silver.
- 22:26Sorry guys, I'm getting hot for some reason down here.
- 22:29I may need to hold on. Hold on one second.
- 22:32Let's go over here to Famous Dave's recipe and you want to
- 22:37hear about $195 silver price. All right, let's get back here.
- 22:46We're on. OK, Famous Dave's $195 silver
- 22:51price. So I get this e-mail from Famous
- 22:53Dave. He says, Ron, before I watched
- 22:55your video on Wednesday, I was crunching some numbers and I
- 22:59ended up with $195.25 per oz. And by the way, guys, that's
- 23:05next year. OK?
- 23:08We love you, Famous Dave. We love you.
- 23:10Anyways, I will share with you how I got to $195.
- 23:14I was looking at the overall silver chart.
- 23:17I took in blue. I took the 10 years before the
- 23:21spike of 1980. So we took the average price of
- 23:25silver in the 10 years before silver spiked in 1980.
- 23:30In 1969, the market topped at $1.54 per oz.
- 23:35Can you believe that in 1979 the silver market topped at 11 O
- 23:39seven, OK, So he he averaged those two out basically.
- 23:45And so well, he took the difference, divided it by two
- 23:49and added it back to the starting difference and that
- 23:51gave him the average over that 10 year period, which is $6.30
- 23:57per oz OK, He then he then. OK, so that was the average for
- 24:03the 10 years before the 1980 spike.
- 24:06He then points out that silver peaked the next year in 1980 at
- 24:13around $49.45 per oz. If you divide that 1980 peak by
- 24:19the average price for the previous ten years, it comes it
- 24:23went up or was multiplied by seven point, 97.854, OK, that's
- 24:30when we had the spike in 1980. So now he's going to compare
- 24:33that to what's going on now. If we take this number and
- 24:36multiply it to our current last 10 year average, let's see what
- 24:40we get. So in 2024, the market peaked at
- 24:443210 per oz. OK, So far 2017 was the lowest
- 24:50of the last 10 years, $17.62 per oz.
- 24:55So he takes that difference. 1482 divides it by two, that's
- 24:59about $7.24. Adds that back to the low price
- 25:03and we get an average over the last 10 years of about $24.86
- 25:09per oz multiplied. That if next year we had a spike
- 25:13like we had in 1980 by that same amount, that it the multiplier
- 25:17effect that it spiked by in 1987.854, OK, We would get to
- 25:23$195.25 per oz silver if 1980 happened today or let's say if
- 25:301980 happened in 2025. What I put a note on here is
- 25:35what's very interesting to me is that that #195 dollars is very
- 25:41close to the numbers that I hear thrown around for what the
- 25:45inflation adjusted 1980 high silver price was.
- 25:49When you adjust the 1980, let's say $50 per oz silver price for
- 25:54the all the inflation that's occurred over the last 45 years,
- 25:57you come up, I hear numbers between 150 and 190 per oz.
- 26:01I thought that was very interesting.
- 26:03I know this is like selective math, but but it's it shows us
- 26:08in different ways how mathematics anyway is pointing
- 26:12toward the fact that we really could have skyrocketing silver
- 26:15prices and we know the fundamentals.
- 26:17OK, He points out. There's other variables
- 26:19involved. We know the fundamentals in the
- 26:23market for silver right now. I mean, it's crazy.
- 26:28It's absolutely crazy. And it's, these are not crackpot
- 26:35people, right? Look, I've been calling for
- 26:37higher silver prices for a long time, right?
- 26:39You didn't get people like Peter Schiff.
- 26:41You've got people that have been saying this for a long, long
- 26:43time, A lot of it. I'm not putting Peter Schiff
- 26:45down. I love Peter Schiff all but all
- 26:47these people, smart people that are looking at numbers, looking
- 26:52at basic mathematics and saying we could have a major, major
- 26:56spike in the silver price. What do you think when I say
- 26:59digitization of gold? OK, a lot of you will will freak
- 27:04out, right? And but and you'll and you'll
- 27:06and you'll, you'll respond with oh, no, no, no, I don't want
- 27:09electronic gold. I don't want electronic silver.
- 27:11That's bad. That's horrible.
- 27:13No, no, no. I want you to consider
- 27:15something. OK.
- 27:16I'm just wondering if you're willing to, if you're one of
- 27:18those people and it's OK that you are and you don't have to
- 27:21change your mind, but digitization of gold in
- 27:25particular is coming. OK.
- 27:27Actually, there's a thing called Gold 247 which is being run by
- 27:32the World Gold Council. And they're working with, yes,
- 27:35they're working with our friends over at the LBMI, the London
- 27:39Million Market Association, but they're really working to make
- 27:42this a reality. I heard Rick Rule on an
- 27:45interview with the Investing News Network that Charlotte
- 27:50McLeod, he brought this up and he said, I think that it's going
- 27:53to happen in the balance of this decade.
- 27:56That means before the year 2030. That means in the next five, 5
- 28:001/2 years, we're going to see a legitimate digitization of gold.
- 28:06And guys, what I what I want to drive home if if, if you're and
- 28:11I'm that way too, right? Like, oh, I'm, you know, I want
- 28:13holding the physical metal. That's not going to stop us from
- 28:17continuing to hold physical metal.
- 28:21OK. What it could do, what it could
- 28:23do is augment our ability to save in gold to spend gold,
- 28:30silver for that. I would imagine silver will be
- 28:32close behind, right? It can augment when they say,
- 28:36oh, we're going to digitize gold or silver.
- 28:38That doesn't mean they're going to come to your basement and
- 28:41take all your silver and gold and say here it's digital now
- 28:44we're going to take this right no, no, what they're talking
- 28:47about is is providing in in on a big level like the big trading
- 28:52level right It what it will occur as well as a way to track
- 28:57right using blockchain technology, which is not
- 29:00cryptocurrency. It's not mean it's a crypto, OK,
- 29:04there's a big difference. The blockchain technology is a
- 29:06record keeping system so that they can track where the gold
- 29:10is. But it's exciting.
- 29:11Let me read. Let me just read a couple of the
- 29:13things and I to see if if you're willing to reconsider that this
- 29:17could actually be a good thing. And I'll tell you what there's a
- 29:20big surprise I'll share with you at the end about what this could
- 29:22mean for the the metals as well. It would it would provide a
- 29:27secure and standardized system of gold bar integrity.
- 29:31The blockchain technology to create digital twins, the actual
- 29:35gold bars. And this will start at the big
- 29:37high level, right? Those big whatever they are, 100
- 29:39oz kilo bars that they trade a trusted ecosystem with immutable
- 29:44records. That means UN can't, can't be
- 29:48messed with records. It would be secure.
- 29:51It would secure and standardized system of gold bar integrity.
- 29:54It would provide that common and digital.
- 29:59It would. It would make a common and
- 30:00digitalized supply chain using existing standards from across
- 30:05the gold refining industry OK. It would create transparency and
- 30:11trust, OK, giving the buyers more confidence, trusted digital
- 30:16gold products adopting the highest standards of gold
- 30:19sourcing and fabrication. Meaning from top to bottom,
- 30:23they're going to make sure that this is all transparent,
- 30:27audited, that the refiners that are, that are creating these
- 30:31gold bars and it'll happen for silver too, are providing all
- 30:35the pertinent information to certify that what they're saying
- 30:39is whatever, you know, a kilo gold bar of certain purity is
- 30:44indeed actually a kilo gold bar. It's a foundation to move the
- 30:50precious metals sector forward, OK?
- 30:54Again, this is the World Gold Council working on this with the
- 30:58LBMA, OK? It's not if, guys, the reality,
- 31:03it's not if, but when it occurs, OK?
- 31:06Gold will be money again. That's what I want to look.
- 31:09Think about it again, this doesn't mean they're going to
- 31:12come take your silver and gold. They're not going to confiscate
- 31:15your silver or your gold, OK? This digitization that can
- 31:19occur, What it does mean is that it can be used as money.
- 31:23It can make gold and silver functional again.
- 31:25Because let's be real, you know, if I showed up at your door and
- 31:29knocked on your door in 10 minutes, said, hey, it's Ron
- 31:32from Ron's basement. And you said, hey, Ronnie, let's
- 31:34go, let's go to Denny's and have some breakfast because I'm
- 31:37cheap, right? I'd want to go to Denny's.
- 31:39And we went to Denny's and had breakfast.
- 31:41We can't pay with silver. We can't, we can't pay with
- 31:45gold, right? This would allow it.
- 31:48You can still keep your stack in your basement, but we could
- 31:51bring as many. We could bring a bunch of
- 31:53American silver Eagles. I looked on them last night.
- 31:55It says $1.00, right? We could get $1.00 in value and
- 32:00they probably would even be suspicious of that, not realize
- 32:02that they're really worth $35.00.
- 32:04But that's the reality of the situation.
- 32:07We can't use, it's very difficult, cumbersome right now
- 32:10to use gold and silver in everyday transactions.
- 32:13There's some other options out there, but I'm telling you up on
- 32:17a high level, the World Gold Council and the LBMA.
- 32:20And I don't like the LBMA like anybody else, but if they can
- 32:23find a way to set this really massive trusted foundation, it
- 32:27could be a good thing. It could create massive new
- 32:31demand for gold and silver. Think about it.
- 32:35And it's not, I want to repeat, nobody's saying everybody has to
- 32:39turn in their silver and gold. That's not the case.
- 32:42And we know what's going on throughout the world.
- 32:44We're probably going to want to have a, a functional digital way
- 32:48for us to use silver and gold because who knows, at some
- 32:51point, right? That might be the only thing
- 32:53that's worth anything, for crying out loud.
- 32:57OK, He says. You'll be able to use it at
- 32:59Starbucks. I don't go to Starbucks.
- 33:03I mean, really, what I pay. Let's see, 1/4 of an ounce of
- 33:07silver for a cup of coffee. No, imagine that, no offense.
- 33:13If you do it, a lot of people do.
- 33:14I got a Starbucks by my house and there's like cars wrapped
- 33:17around it all the time. I'm like these people, somebody
- 33:20needs to talk to them, right? Do you want to go give 1/4 ounce
- 33:23of silver for a cup of Starbucks coffee here?
- 33:26I tell you what, I got here, inside here.
- 33:28I don't know, some coffee Susie's been getting from Sam's
- 33:31Club. It's in a big red bag and it
- 33:34tastes great. We got a bun coffee maker.
- 33:36I'm telling you, this is not a show about coffee.
- 33:39I did at one point, briefly, Susie and I owned a coffee
- 33:42company. I know a lot about coffee.
- 33:44Buy Arabica beans and buy yourself a bun home brewing
- 33:48coffee maker. Maybe you like those K cups,
- 33:50whatever. But I'm telling you,
- 33:52professionals in the coffee industry use bun coffee makers
- 33:56and it it's it's got an internal tank and it heats the water up.
- 34:00I'm sorry, I'm getting off track.
- 34:01We're talking about the digitization of gold and silver.
- 34:05You'll be able to redeem. That's the big thing.
- 34:08What this this Gold 247 project from the LBMA, OK, you can use
- 34:14your silver or your Gold potentially at first, but silver
- 34:18eventually, I believe to buy Starbucks.
- 34:20But you can also redeem it. You can re, you can redeem.
- 34:23It's redeemable. OK, you can save in Gold, you
- 34:29can invest in gold, transaction gold, transacting gold.
- 34:32And the big key here is with very low transaction costs, very
- 34:36low transaction costs. Here, let me pull it up.
- 34:39Oh my gosh, I forgot. Bear with me, basement dwellers.
- 34:42Let's go on a little field trip here.
- 34:44You can check this out for yourself at here we are the
- 34:52World Gold Council website, OK? And here's Gold 247.
- 34:59Gold 247 is the World Gold Council's vision for
- 35:03transforming the global gold market to meet the challenges of
- 35:07today's consumers and investors. Nowhere on here, I read through
- 35:12the whole thing and there's a couple little short videos.
- 35:15Does it say that we're going to we're going to confiscate your
- 35:17gold, OK? Doesn't say that, guys, does
- 35:19not. Let me clarify that.
- 35:22Say that, OK, they've got all kinds of data, OK, integrity,
- 35:27right. Obviously this is all based on,
- 35:30on integrity. The essential foundation for the
- 35:33gold market reform is supply chain integrity.
- 35:37That is why the World Gold Council's partnered with the
- 35:39LBMA to develop and implement an international system of gold bar
- 35:45integrity. Right And again and then
- 35:47tracking these gold bars using blockchain technology is what I
- 35:52understand they're going to be doing.
- 35:54Investing in market reforms, accessibility.
- 35:57This is this is key. In order to remain relevant, the
- 36:00gold market must undergo a digital transformation allowing
- 36:03transparent and effortless 24/7 retail and wholesale
- 36:07transactions. Yes, right.
- 36:09That means you can go. I was laughing when I thought
- 36:14about this. You'll be able to use your gold
- 36:17to go to Costco to buy more gold or silver, right?
- 36:22Just joking. This this remove this means
- 36:25removing artificial barriers to participation in establishing
- 36:29modern market infrastructure. The digitalization and
- 36:33tokenization of the market is essential to modernize the gold
- 36:37market and to make it more accessible to investors now and
- 36:41in the future. Fungibility.
- 36:43OK, I'll just be honest with you.
- 36:44I still don't have a solid grasp on what that word means, and I
- 36:48meant to research that before we came on here.
- 36:50The current structure of the global market is fragmented and
- 36:53prevents gold from being an easily tradable financial asset.
- 36:58I think what in order to gold to be fully fungible, the industry
- 37:01must work together to establish a global standard to which all
- 37:05participants can adhere. OK, sorry.
- 37:10It's my daughter telling me they're up and they're outside
- 37:13Susie's at her mom's house. So I'm doing this solo this
- 37:15morning. Fungibility I think means like
- 37:18standardization and the ability to, to kind of break, break
- 37:25pieces off or, or digitally break pieces off.
- 37:29I, I really need to do more work on what fungibility means 'cause
- 37:32I'm not a fungibility guru, OK. And I did, I did put a note
- 37:37here. It is kind of ironic that we're
- 37:39talking about the L BMA and, and, and integrity as well.
- 37:44What about what's it telling us as precious metals investors
- 37:49right now when a cookie delivery company, yes, you heard that
- 37:53right, is now not just delivering cookies, but
- 37:57delivering gold bars. Let's go check this out because
- 38:01I was a little this one got me. This one got me.
- 38:07This is from Axios Austin. It's OK.
- 38:09So I guess this is out of Austin TX Cookie cookie cookie cookie
- 38:14company tiffs treats branch treats OK cookery company tiffs
- 38:19treats branches into gold. OK so there's some cookies
- 38:26there's a believe A1 oz pamp gold bar Austin cookie delivery
- 38:31firm tiffs treats is branching out from chocolate chips to cold
- 38:35Pullian Why it matters writing a wave of global interest in
- 38:39precious metals. It's good to see that this
- 38:41authors recognizing that right guys.
- 38:44The new initiative is a way for cookie delivery company to
- 38:47expand its appeal in this Amazon fueled age of immediate
- 38:51gratification. How it works Instead of paying
- 38:55about $21.00 for a box of dozen chocolate chip cookies and then
- 38:59running to Starbucks and spending $8 on a cup of coffee
- 39:03which you could have bought yourself an ounce of silver
- 39:05with, but I digress. To be delivered to your friend,
- 39:08Co worker or loved one. You can now pay roughly $2500
- 39:12for what the company deems it's bullion bundle.
- 39:15A box of cookies plus A1 oz 24 karat gold bar.
- 39:20Yeah, I think I'll take the I think you can skip the cookies
- 39:24guys if you want. I'm just joking around here.
- 39:28But if you want to send me something from Tiff's Treats,
- 39:31you can skip the cookies. I'll just take the the gold bar.
- 39:36Just kidding. What about silver?
- 39:38Will that be next? The price of the package
- 39:40fluctuates with the daily gyrations of gold.
- 39:44Then they talk about the Costco thing.
- 39:46We know about that already. Gold has been reaching record
- 39:50highs. OK, blah blah.
- 39:51The People's Bank of China. This is interesting that this
- 39:56like kind of Austin, TX newspapers putting all this out.
- 40:00Bullion is also a way for investors to hedge against
- 40:03market and global rest. So anyway, to me what that goes
- 40:06back to is hey, great. If you want to buy your gold
- 40:09from Tiff's Treats, that's great.
- 40:12If you want to buy your gold and silver from Costco, that's
- 40:15great. I have no problem with it.
- 40:17Me personally, if I want to buy gold, if I want to buy silver, I
- 40:20want to get it from a specialist.
- 40:21That's why I would buy it from channel sponsor, see if I can.
- 40:25Get this right there it is Pimbex Pi MB EX OK.
- 40:29I also want to say thank you to channel sponsor First Mining
- 40:32Gold, Canadian gold development company with two multi million
- 40:36ounce development stage projects in Canada, right, good
- 40:40jurisdiction and Fortuna Mining, who's digging a lot of gold and
- 40:45silver out of the ground right now in their two main
- 40:48jurisdictions, Latin America, where they were, they mine both
- 40:52silver and gold and West Africa where they're really late laser
- 40:57focused on growing some major gold production numbers.
- 41:01Hey, I appreciate you guys being with me here today.
- 41:03Let's run out the pin backs and check one more time, because
- 41:08last time we checked, it went up.
- 41:09Let's press the magic button. Gold was up about $3 last time
- 41:13we checked. All right, gold's up.
- 41:17Silver went down by a penny. But hey, you know what, we'll
- 41:20take it, right, guys? I mean, again, look at that gold
- 41:23#2462 dollars. And gold is the godfather of the
- 41:28precious metals. Does that make sense?
- 41:33Hello Dakota Daisy. Hello Jake from Jake's custom
- 41:35Parts. Hello Annie Oakley.
- 41:37Hello Lone wolf. Hello Magic moon.
- 41:39You know, sorry guys, I I can't read the comments till after the
- 41:43live stream because I can't do it.
- 41:45I just can't. I got I got to focus, but I want
- 41:47to say hi to a few you guys. Hello Ron.
- 41:51This is like checking your weight every hour yes, I've
- 41:56never had issues with thinking you know, but I know people that
- 41:59do like I have issues with gold and silver.
- 42:01So yes, I do check the price of gold and silver.
- 42:03I will check it more today. I will be honest.
- 42:07Will you let me ask you guys? If I had to guess, put it in the
- 42:10comments section. How many times from now until
- 42:14you go to Betty Boom boom time, right Buttercup, you got to go
- 42:18to bed tonight. Let's say 10:00.
- 42:20That's your bedtime. How many more times will you
- 42:23check the silver and gold price today?
- 42:24If I'm honest, on average, on an average day from now till the
- 42:29end of the day, I'll probably check it.
- 42:33I got it. I was going to say 5, but I'm
- 42:35going to say 6. Type it in the comments.
- 42:38How many times will you guys check?
- 42:40Right. 50 plus Jake. Is that your age?
- 42:44Dwight. Hey, Dwight.
- 42:45At least 10. Matt Lewis.
- 42:47It's OK, guys, right? This is like a support group.
- 42:49We can be honest. Cliff Moberg Hello, Cliff 7 four
- 42:54times minimum. OK, friendly about once per day.
- 42:59Scott Good for you. Martin.
- 43:00Too many W 25. Paul Dockery 5I used to check it
- 43:06a lot more and I used to check my mining stock portfolio a lot
- 43:11more. But I've really tried to realize
- 43:14that just watching, watching, watching, and it would get me
- 43:17upset or, you know, so anyway, at least 10, says Vincent Cliff.
- 43:20One or two, Yeah. So I'm not alone.
- 43:23Guys. We let's, let's just let's,
- 43:26let's, let's just take take a minute and remember of $2460 per
- 43:33oz gold. It doesn't seem real, right?
- 43:37I mean, this $2500 gold bear, he's the reason why we haven't
- 43:41broke through. I'm telling you these the bear
- 43:43that was responsible for the bear marketing gold, OK, he's
- 43:46really not our friend. But none the less, gold is the
- 43:53granddaddy of all these medals. It really, really hit me, right?
- 43:59This really hit me hard yesterday, right?
- 44:01Because we hadn't talked about this a lot lately.
- 44:03But again, you know, gold, universal silver, universal
- 44:08gold, silver, timeless, right? Gold, silver, by far the wisest
- 44:14markets in the world, right? But it's not gold and silver.
- 44:19And it's like I said earlier, think about that compared to the
- 44:22US dollar, right? The most manipulated.
- 44:25It's not timeless, right? It's not universal.
- 44:28It's kind of sortie. I'm, you know, you could argue
- 44:30that point, right? It's certainly not the wisest.
- 44:33It's like the it's like the polar opposite of silver and
- 44:37gold. Gold and silver are subjected to
- 44:39worldwide independent market forces, right?
- 44:44Sure. the US, the Fed, they can affect, they can, you know,
- 44:47exert some authority. But at the end of the day, they
- 44:51don't, they're not they're not going to be able to control it.
- 44:54OK. And I think that's what we're
- 44:55seeing right now, right? These are big, big times.
- 44:59All right? It's going to be interesting.
- 45:00I appreciate you being here. OK.
